The FFW logo is shown in the sand as ocean waves lap over it on the beach. As the camera pulls back, we see what looks to be a scenic day at the beach until someone swims a little too far out and gets into trouble. A woman on the shore shouts for help from a lifeguard. The camera then switches to David Hasselhoff in his old Baywatch swim trunks before he blows a whistle. The Baywatch theme begins from there.

Suddenly the scene cuts to see Mila Midnight fishing on the pier before she hops up in the trademark red Baywatch one piece. Next we see Gillie Barnes adjusting her one piece before she bolts into action. Another flash as we see Britt Kane playing ping pong till she hears the whistle. The ball bounces past her at that moment, and she tosses the paddle down with a curse and takes off in her red one piece.

Harley is shown drawing on some A4 paper before she hops to her feet, does a spin like Wonder Woman into her red one piece and takes off. Rose Gardner does a similar spin, but turns into a Totodile swimsuit and bolts towards the water. All the girls converge running in slow motion towards the water as the theme plays. Caitlyn Storm pops up miraculously behind the victim, and pulls him along towards the shore as the other girls stop with a shrug since they weren’t needed.

They pulled the man onto the shore to safety before they lined up with the camera panning across them as we see Hoff in the background squirting breath spray into his mouth. And as he was about to grab Harley, a chained fist swings and takes him down as Missy stands over him in a bikini.

The girls shake their heads as they move up the shore. On that, we cut to a video package featuring the events since Season 19 leading up to the Future Shock Championship match with Bianca Salvador and Anna Giovanna while “Mama Said Knock You Out” by LL Cool J playing. Each match is featured before we go inside the arena to a beach theme stage with sand and a few surfboards and beach balls and lifeguard chairs. The crowd was extremely loud as the camera panned them before heading down to the booth with Lyn & Zack.

Zack: Wherever you are around the world, thank you for joining us for what promises to be a chaotic night, to be sure! Welcome to Future Shock Wipeout here in practically the backyard of my partner, Lyn Dallins! Because we are live from the Amalie Arena in Tampa. Welcome home, Lyn!

Lyn: Glad to be here, Zack and especially glad I could be home while I get to call this very stacked pay-per-view!

Zack: What did you make of that opening bit? I haven’t listened to LL Cool J in a while, and we may have seen the last of Hoff.

Lyn: All I know Zack is I wouldn’t face Missy in a dark alley.  I haven’t heard LL Cool J in a bit either. Last time was actually the song... Wait, no that was Sticky Fingaz. It’s been a while is what I’m saying!

Zack: Tonight is a packed card, but it’s all topped off with a Season 19 revival in the main event as the “Typhoon” Bianca Salvador looks to become a 2 time Future Shock Champion at the expense of the Ace herself. That season will never truly be part of history, will it?

Lyn: Calling it now, 2019. Unstoppable. Triple threat for the FFW title. Salvador. Giovanna. Bennett.

Zack: But there’s more than that on the line tonight. It’s a trip to the finals to meet the Max Sato Experience for either NHB or the BNB Wrecking Crew right here in Mallory’s hometown! Who you like in that one?

Lyn: Whatever happens, Max Sato will have a problem. I’m honestly for both teams but I expect once Bennett steps through the ropes, the hometown hero will get a little rallying cheer.

Zack: The Experience have their own problems tonight in a one night only pairing when they meet Andi Takata and Bianca Reed! Two people you’d not ever expect to see together, And not for nothing, I saw a gallon bucket earlier tonight backstage...

Lyn: The roaches they are a’coming... I don’t know about you but I am all about watching Max get covered in roaches tonight.

Zack: We got a jet ski challenge, an Aspire Ring shot on the line with two of the sickest puppies in the pound, Caitlyn and Ignis...but I’ll tell you what I’m anticipating. The “Wildcat” puts the boots back on tonight against the self-professed Franchise of Future Shock, Valerie McKinley!

Lyn: The 1 Percenter tried to push Gaby around and now she’s about to get more of her than she can handle!

Zack: All that, and two revelations expected. Plus Adam promised me earlier today he had another surprise on the show tonight that was unadvertised!

Lyn: I wonder if we might be looking at a bonus match?!

Zack: Let’s stop talking about it, and send it up to our guest ring announcer tonight, the bubbly and very excited Hannah LaCroix.

The show heads up to the ring with the guest ring announcer, beaming ear to ear, and looking quite excited as she looked out over the crowd.

Hannah: Holy….I mean...the opening contest of Future Shock Wipeout is scheduled for one fall! The winner of this match will earn a future Aspire Ring opportunity.

Zack: We’re gonna kick things off by seeing two of the most unpredictable and dangerous Prospects we’ve ever seen, Lyn.

Lyn: And that’s you being generous.

As the instrumental opening to 'Telescope' plays over the PA system we get a hyped up Alicia Garland coming out to get the crowd riled up, kicking her boot at the air before she walks down the ramp as she swings her fist around like she's using an invisible lasso.

You can’t hide from me,
There ain’t no tricks that you can try on me
I know your every move before you even breathe baby
Thinking you know something I don’t know
But my eyes, my eyes, my eyes are like a telescope

Hannah: Making her way to the ring...the Southern Delight, Alicia! GARLAND!

The chorus repeats again as Alicia steps onto the ring apron, brushing her feet off before stepping between the ropes. As Alicia approaches the middle of the ring she raises her fist up once again to the crowd's reaction, then goes to her corner as she stretches a leg against the turnbuckles before the bell rings.

Zack: If nothing else, at least we know Alicia’s up for competing tonight. We’ve seen several sides of this woman, and few of them seem like anything you’d actually appreciate.

Lyn: The woman is a puzzle wrapped in an enigma hidden in a maze left in a rained out cardboard box.

As the guitar riff, clicked finger intro of Gin Wigmore’s “Kill of the Night” kicks in the arena gets plunged into darkness only for flames to start to rear up from the stage.

The street's a liar
I'm gonna lure you into the dark
My cold desire
To hear the boom, boom, boom of your heart

As the first verse gets played Sienna Moore is raised up from underneath the stage to appear in the middle of the fire. There’s an evil smirk on her face as she holds a toothpick between her teeth. The flames shoot higher on each of the boom’s before dying down at which point she’s joined by Cory Kincaid; prompting her to throw away the toothpick and press a very passionate kiss to his lips.

The danger is I'm dangerous
And I might just tear you apart
Oh, ah, oh

As she breaks the kiss the woman moves confidently and quickly down to the ring, pulling her boyfriend along behind her. Smirking and laughing at the crowd, happy at the reaction that she is inducing in them.

I'm gonna catch ya
I'm gonna get ya, get ya
Oh, ah, oh
I wanna taste the way that you bleed, oh
You're my kill of the night

Now you're mine
But what do I do with you, boy
I'll take your heart
To kick around as a toy

Reaching the ring she pulls herself up onto the apron, leaning back against the ropes as the songs chorus hits on more time, singing along with it as she waits for Cory to climb the ring stairs and hold the ropes open for her to enter the ring.

The danger is I'm dangerous
And I might just tear you apart

The girl pulls her man into another kiss before retreating back to her corner, leaning against it and waiting with a confident looking smirk on her face for the match to begin.

Hannah: Hailing from Lansing, Michigan, weighing 131 1/4lbs and accompanied to the ring by Cory Kincaid...SIENNA MOORE!!!

Zack: You and I both know what this woman right here is capable of, Lyn. Sienna Moore is as  cold-blooded as anyone I’ve ever seen in FFW. She and the Ultraviolence Champion could compare notes, I think.

Lyn: And then shiv each other.

Referee Stephen Wilson checks both women before he calls for the bell. Alicia and Sienna stare across at each other for a moment before they head towards the center. Moore offers Alicia a handshake, but Garland only looks down at it before sucker punching Sienna with a right to the jaw. Three more follow that before Garland hammers in forearm shots to the side of her head. She whips Sienna into the corner, and follows in with a corner clothesline as soon as she lands. A quick hip toss sends her out to the canvas before a diving clothesline to the back of her head snaps Sienna’s face off the mat between her own legs. As her head pops back up, Alicia immediately applies a side headlock, leaning her body weight into Sienna as Cory watched from the outside.

Zack: Alicia’s showing little indecisiveness, and more than enough aggression here as this match gets underway. She better not let Moore have a chance to breathe.

Lyn: Or get out of her sight. Or get near Cory. Or touch Cory. Or pull out a toothpick.

Alicia used her arms to grind in the side headlock, causing Sienna’s face to tense in pain. Moore started back to her feet with Alicia holding the headlock, only to get driven backwards into the corner. It stunned her long enough for Sienna to break free and turn towards her to drive a headbutt into her face. Garland stumbled out of the corner before Sienna bolted past her with a bulldog to drive her down to the mat. She immediately grabbed the top rope, and stepped onto Alicia’s neck to choke her before the referee started a count. Sienna stepped off at four, and dropped a knee into the back of her head.

Zack: The fans aren’t really sure how to take this. They aren’t terribly supportive of either one of these two women.

Lyn: At times like this you cheer a giant meteor coming down on the ring, so I’ve learned from a few wrestlers

The Michigan native drags Alicia from the ropes, and starts stomping away at her lower back repeatedly. After bouncing off the near side, she delivers a leaping double knee drop into Alicia’s back. Moore begins to dig her elbow into the back, making Alicia squirm underneath her for a moment. A bright smile forms on her face as she looks over to Cory, and gets back to her feet. Another bounce off the ropes into a baseball slide sends Alicia rolling out under the bottom rope to land on the floor ringside. A look of delight forms on Sienna’s face as she rolls out after her, causing the referee to begin his mandatory ten count. With Alicia trying to get up, Sienna rams her back first into the apron. Garland shouts in pain before Sienna scoops her up in a front carry, and then uses a fallaway slam to send Alicia flying into the ring steps before crashing to the floor. The sound only makes Sienna smile brighter before she pulls Alicia up onto her shoulder, and powerslam hers onto the steps before she slides down them to the floor. Moore rolls back into the ring, getting admonished by the referee before she rolls right back out to the floor.

Lyn: Breaking up the ten count there and Moore is... All joy and then some.

Zack: Getting onto Sienna for breaking and bending rules is not something that is going to bother her. Actually, you may end up giving her ideas.

Garland clutched her back in pain before Sienna stepped up onto the ring steps, and plucked her head between her legs for what looked like a piledriver. But as she went to lift her, Alicia managed to bring her feet back down and instead used a back body drop to crash Sienna onto the floor. Garland lumbered up the steps, clutching her lower back as she tried to get back inside the ring. She didn’t quite make it though before Sienna was back up, and had her foot trying to pull her back down. Garland shook her leg, kicking at Moore to get her to let go. It finally worked, causing Sienna to stumble backwards into the barricade. As she came forward again though, Alicia spun around with a nasty kick to the side of Sienna’s head. It dropped her to the floor, and Alicia rolled over the middle rope back inside, still clutching her back.

Zack: I don’t blame Alicia for wanting to keep this in the ring. Outside the ring is like a playground for someone like Sienna.

Lyn: The environment she seems to make the most use of, especially with the barricade but Garland just switched it around.

The referee checked with her for a moment as she crawled toward the ropes,  She rolled underneath, and got back to her feet on the apron seemingly measuring Sienna for something. Cory moved around in front of his girlfriend, checking on her as Alicia screamed at him to get out of the way more than once. Cory turned around as Alicia again told him to move before she finally lunged towards them both with what looked to be a seated senton. Both of them scattered in opposite directions, causing Alicia to land on the floor. The blonde landed on her backside, further causing her problems with her back as Sienna crawled back inside the ring. Wilson continued his count as Alicia pulled herself up onto the apron at the count of six. The Lansing brunette wasted no time, grabbing her head into a front facelock over the top rope before hoisting her up high and spiking her with a brainbuster into the ring. Sienna dove on top of her for the cover, hooking the outside leg as Wilson moved to count.

Zack: Good Lord, Alicia could be unconscious right now!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

T-NOOOOOOOOOOPE!!!

Alicia got her shoulder up in time before the three, causing Sienna to get back up and head for the nearest corner. Leaning against it for a moment, she watched as Alicia tried to get back to her feet and took off when she did. But Garland caught her coming in, and surprised her with a spinebuster instead before collapsing to the mat as well, clutching her back.

Lyn: Wicked spinebuster there and down goes Moore!

Both women lay on the mat before Alicia started to sit up first, her face awash with pain because of Sienna’s work on her back. When Moore started to sit up as well, Alicia rolled over on top of her and unloaded with right hands to her head. She landed several with impunity before she got back to her feet, jerking Sienna up with her before planting her with a double underhook DDT. A quick cover followed that as Wilson slid into position.

Zack: Very nice DDT from Alicia, who wants this match over sooner than later!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THR-NOOOOOOOOOOOOOPE!!!

Unfortunately for Alicia, it wasn’t over when Sienna got her shoulder up in time before the three. Garland made it back to her feet, still favoring her back as she circled around to the corner waiting for Moore to get up. When she did, Alicia snatched her up and planted her with an exploder suplex. But as Sienna landed, Alicia did too on her knees, thanks to her back.

Lyn: Textbook exploder and Garland hurts herself a little on the way.

Garland climbed slowly back to her feet, looking with daggers towards Sienna before she yanked her into position for her belly to back piledriver! Sienna’s head bounced off the mat after impact before Garland dropped an arm across her chest for the cover.

Zack: She calls that SERTRALINE, Lyn! Alicia’s got this!

……………………………………………………. There was no count though as the referee had moved to the ropes where Cory had climbed up onto the apron. He seemed to be asking the referee a question as Alicia pounded the mat, trying to get his attention. The referee slid right into position immediately..

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NOPE!!

Sienna managed to get her shoulder up before the three, causing Alicia to seemingly growl at the official for not getting there sooner. She popped back to her feet, and made a beeline for Cory who was still standing on the apron. She grabbed him by the shirt as his eyes went wide as light bulbs!

Lyn: ...This is not... Nothing about this will end well.

Alicia screamed into Cory’s seemingly terrified face as Sienna was getting back to her feet. Moore launched towards them, grabbing Alicia’s head for a lungblower that flipped her over to the mat. Cory dropped down to the floor as Sienna’s face was growing in anger. As Garland started to get up, Sienna took off for the far side and caught her with a running knee into the side of her head. It wobbled Garland on her knees before Sienna delivered a standing sidekick to her ear that put her right down. Moore dropped for the cover before the referee slid into position to make the count.

Zack: Whenever anyone touches Cory, Sienna flips out! And she wasn’t exactly the picture of sanity before!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NOPE!!

Again, Garland gets her shoulder up in time prior to the three. Sienna got back to her feet, and began to pace around the canvas. As the referee checked on Alicia to see if she was able to continue, Sienna reached underneath the bottom turnbuckle in one corner and removed a length of barbed wire, which she began to wrap around her taped fist.

Lyn: Can we just get Adam to sign off on Cory banned from ringside. This seems to always play out hazardous to everyone...

Around and around she wrapped her fist until the referee saw her, and immediately went to her and started unwrapping it from her fist against her will. Moore tried to get her hand away from him without much success as Alicia started to rise back to her feet.

Zack: Good for referee Stephen Wilson for catching that before we had a bloodbath on our hands!

As Wilson continued to disarm Sienna, Alicia seemed to have her wherewithal. Sienna managed to shove the referee away, and lunge at Alicia with the barbed wire fist. But Garland surprised her with a boot to the face coming in. It staggered her long enough for Alicia to use her belly to back piledriver again! She immediately hooked both legs for the cover as the referee slid into position.

Zack: That’s SERTRALINE….again!!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

Wilson called for the bell as Alicia rolled off the cover, breathing heavily as she used the ropes to help her get back to her feet. The referee raised her hand in victory as she stared down at Sienna.

Lyn: Well, we come to the end of... One of the strangest matches.

Hannah: Your winner by pinfall………………….ALICIA GARLAND!!!

As Cory went to check on his girlfriend, Alicia rolled out to the floor. She clutched her back in pain while she walked backwards up the aisle to keep an eye on her opponent.

Zack: Alicia’s picked up a big win here tonight at Wipeout, and has now positioned herself firmly for a shot at the Aspire Ring somewhere down the line.

Lyn: I’d say that everyone else looking for it should be on guard.

As Garland disappeared behind the curtain, the show headed elsewhere.

The Final Defense

A clip shows us the first two defenses of Harley Shannon since recapturing the Aspire Ring several weeks ago, including the very brief second defense. After it concludes, we find her standing by in the back with Sara in front of the Wipeout poster.

Sara: The woman with me right now is just one defense away from being able to turn in her Aspire Ring to ask for a shot at the Future Shock Championship. Harley, thanks for joining me and welcome to Wipeout here in Tampa!

The flame haired woman waved at the camera for a moment.

Harley: Hi Sara. I’m really glad to be here tonight and to be able to be part of Wipeout. I’ve been lucky enough to spend a lot of today meeting with the amazing, wonderful, awesome fans here in Tampa. Signing a couple of autographs for them before the show started - seen lots of my posters, which are still available from the merchandise stands here and on the FFW online shop. And it’s been a spectacular show so far hasn’t it? And we’re just hitting our stride right now. It promises to only get better,

Sara: The last time we saw you was your second defense of the Aspire Ring, which sent Freya out of Future Shock….and apparently back to FFW again after a 28 second defeat. With just one more match ahead of you, has the pressure felt like it’s mounted or do you feel like you are in cruise control at this point? I’d assume you don’t expect another match like the one with Freya.

Harley: I’m certainly not in cruise control, but I don’t… I don’t really feel like the pressure’s mounting all that much. Or at least if it is, then it’s an enjoyable pressure you know? Or at least I’m enjoying it. Maybe I’m just weird. But it’s the sort that you want to be under. The sort of pressure that means I must be doing something right - and I guess I am because I’m just one successful defence of the Aspire Ring away from challenging whoever might be the Future Shock Champion. I kinda like that, even though it is all or nothing; everything rests on that one match; on the next match. So bring it.

Sara: Well we now know who that third opponent will be. After recently defeating Bianca Salvador on the main roster to earn a shot at the Fast Track title, Adam’s deemed that Mandy Gray will be the final opponent you defend your Ring against soon. It’s interesting to note that your first defense was against her partner, now your final against the other half of Next Generation.

Harley: A weird symmetry to it, isn’t it? Mandy Gray is a phenomenal wrestler, very talented and she’s got a lot of heart too. It’s not going to be a walk in the park; it’s not going to be another 28 second Freya Kane-esque damp squib. It’ll be a hugely challenging back and forth barnburner of a contest that I know the fans are probably already anticipating eagerly. One where they may start off using all of their seat but by the halfway mark even the most cynical and hardest to please fan will only be using a couple of millimeters right at the very edge and by the time the final bell rings they’ll all be on their feet. I’m looking forward to it myself. To testing myself against her, going above and beyond, making it a real spectacle and hopefully I’ll be able to find an edge to secure the victory.

Sara: Here’s a real clincher for you. If you manage to win that match, I have confirmed that you will get your shot as the first Prospect to ever challenge for the Future Shock Championship when we visit Sydney, Australia in November!

The red haired woman bit her bottom lip as she heard that.

Harley: Really? I’ll get to challenge for the Future Shock Championship in Sydney, Australia? The first time Future Shock ever goes to Australia and I could have my first chance at the Future Shock Championship? A chance to make history. Wow… that’s… that’s HUGE!! I’d LOVE that. LOVE it.

She shook her head.

Harley: But… that’s… that’s a dream right now; a fantasy. I can’t and I won’t allow myself to get caught up thinking about that - not right now because it’s just a fairy tale and it won’t happen at all unless I beat Mandy Gray. So, yeah, Australia would be nice, but… I’m focusing on Mandy, on beating a wonderfully talented wrestler and a gifted athlete to secure my third defence and book my seat on the plane to the land down under. That’s it. That’s all I’m allowing myself to focus on. Mandy Gray.

Sara: Good luck in that match, Harley. And thank you for joining me.

A quick graphic shows us the final defense for Harley against Mandy Gray before we head elsewhere.

The show heads back to the ring, with the still quite excited Hannah LaCroix standing front and center with a microphone.

Hannah: The upcoming tag match is scheduled for one fall, and it is a quarterfinal match in the Future Shock Tag Team Title Tournament!

Zack: Unlike the last match, I have a feeling the fans will be split down the middle here, Lyn. The winner of this match goes to the finals to face the Max Sato Experience to crown the first ever Future Shock Tag Team Champions!

Lyn: And I’m up to take any team that will make sure it isn’t Ji-Hu and Bom walking away with those titles!

“Deuce” by Kiss begins to play, Jem runs out of the back and onto the stage area, sprinting across to the far side and bouncing on the balls of her feet as she encourages the crowd to get a little louder. Charging across to the other side of the stage, she once more cheerleaders before heading back to the middle of the stage. Meeting her partner there the two girls double high five and turn it into a hug that breaks as Jem charges down to the ring, sliding underneath the bottom rope. Angela follows her down the ramp, slapping hands with fans. Jem pops up to her feet and makes a tour of the corners, climbing to the middle turnbuckle and throwing her hands into the air to get a cheer from the crowd before moving onto the next one. As Angela reaches the ring she walks hops up onto the apron and raises one clenched fist in the air before she enters the ring and walks to the NHB corner to await the start of the match.

Hannah: Approaching the ring at a combined weight of 306 lbs, the team of Jem Michaels and Angela Hinchcliffe...NO HOLDING BACK!!!

Zack: Angela and Jem know a lot about tag team wrestling, and were the two thirds of the final co-holders of FFW’s Trios Championship. They come into tonight with a rather massive experience advantage against their opponents.

Lyn: Many, many years on their side at that. It’ll fall to their opponents to try and find a way over that wall.

“My Daddy played poker in the woods they say, back in his younger days.
Prohibition was the talk,
but the rich folks walked to the woods where my Daddy stayed.
Jugs and jars from shiners, these old boys here, they ain't miners,
They came from the twenty-niners,
It didn't take a hole in the ground to put the bottom in their face!”

The spotlights of the arena all converge to the front of the entranceway to the ring near the video wall which is currently showing some hard hitting highlights of both Gillie and Mallory. Both girls emerge through the curtains dressed in matching ring gear in colors of black, white, red, and blue followed by Jake as the team manager.. Both girls wear unbuttoned mechanics’ shirts with either a ‘Gillie’ or ‘Mal’ cloth tag on the front and the team logo on the back. Gillie has a UK flag patch on under her tag, Mal with an American flag on her’s.

Hannah: Accompanied to the ring by Jake Chandler... Weighing in at 284 pounds... This is THE BNB WRECKING CREW!

“Son come runnin’! Better come quick!
This rotgut moonshine is making me sick!
Your mama called the law and they gon’ take me away,
Down so far, even the devil won’t stay!”

Both girls high five fans on either side, before having a few final words with Jake and Mal getting a kiss in. Afterwards  Mal runs and slides through the bottom rope while Gillie hops onto the third rope from the outside. Mal leans up against the ropes while Gillie stands at the top and waves to the crowd as their song comes to an end.

Zack: They may be dressed like mechanics, but neither one of these girls need a tune-up when it comes to being one of the best teams in Future Shock. I suspect, much like NHB, both of these girls are feeling the pressure with this one.

Lyn: Especially for Bennett who finds herself home here tonight.

Referee Jennifer Stringer checks the girls before they all head to the center. Both teams exchange handshakes in a show of good sportsmanship. Jem and Gillie start the match as their partners exit to their corners. The girls smile at one another, and take a deep breath before they lock up in the center of the ring. Gillie’s strength gives her the advantage as she brings a knee into Jem’s stomach. She takes a step back, and delivers a kick to the same area too that stands the redhead up briefly, and gives Gillie a chance to take her down with a discus clothesline. Jen starts to get up, only for Gillie to pull her the rest of the way and shove her back into the BNB corner. “Old School” lowers her shoulder, and drives a few thrusts into her body before tagging Mallory. Before she leaves, she hoists Jem almost into a bearhug but lets her hang over backwards before Mallory comes off the top rope with a leg drop across her chest.

Zack: A little Veg-O-Matic action from BNB! And we didn’t have to wait long before we saw the former Future Shock Champion step into the ring.

Lyn: Tampa Bay welcomes their prodigal daughter back as she gets a falling leg drop.

Mallory dropped to make the cover, but was shoved before Stringer could get into position. The mechanic dropped an elbow across Jem’s chest instead, and yanked her back to her feet into a front facelock. But with her free hand, Mallory began driving uppercuts into Jem’s body repeatedly. After landing about four of them, she hoisted her up into a slingshot suplex off the top rope that drove Jem into the mat. Mallory reached for the tag, and got it as Gillie came back into the ring. Bennett fired Jem across, and popped her up into the air before Gillie scooped her on the way down for a big powerslam into a cover!

Zack: Now that’s some tag team chemistry right there! Gillie yanked Jem out of midair for that powerslam, and now the cover!

ONE!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Jem kicked out after the two count, and Gillie got back to her feet. The redhead tried to do the same before Barnes jerked her up from behind and sent her flying with a German suplex. Angela watched on as Jem tried to use the turnbuckles to help her get up again, only for Gillie to barrel in with a corner clothesline that dropped her to a seat.

Lyn: Barnes running the table here, and picking up where Mal left off!

Barnes headed for the other side of the ring, and dropped down into a three point stance. When Jem finally made it to her feet, Gillie bolted across the ring and took her down with a big clothesline. The Sheerness brunette headed for the near corner, climbing onto the second turnbuckle from the inside. She pulled her hand back, and delivered a fist drop to Jem’s head immediately. Feeling quite confident at this point, Gillie twirled her hand over her head and planted Jem’s head between her legs for her latest spinning powerbomb attempt. Mallory called out to her, and told her to forget that move. And as Gillie looked over to her, Jem surprised her with a small package that Stringer dropped to count!

Lyn: Even her own tag partner can’t convince her and this might be a quick end!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

T-NOPE!!

Gillie kicked out, and sat up with a surprised look on her face. Jem started to rise as well. When “Old School” rose to meet her, Michaels left her feet for a headscissors takedown to spike Gillie on top of her head. The redhead took a moment to collect herself, looking to her corner and then seeing Gillie was starting to get up again. She immediately sprung to her feet, and went for a clothesline of her own. Gillie ducked, and Jem darted past her to use the middle rope for a springboard into a moonsault as Gillie turned around! She hooked the far leg quickly before the referee started the count.

Zack: Gillie and Mallory had firm control of this match till she went for that powerbomb again, and now Jem has the opening she’s needed since the bell rang. And it may cost her here!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

TH-NOPE!!

Gillie kicked out again, causing Jem to roll off the cover. The redhead headed for the ropes, pulling herself to her feet as she watched Gillie starting to do the same. When Barnes turned towards her, she was met with a springboard into a flying forearm that dropped her where she stood.

Lyn: Beautiful flying forearm by Jem and Barnes ate it all!

With “Old School” down, Jem glanced towards her corner and started heading in that direction. Gillie started to stir as Jem made the tag to Angela, who came in and dropped to one knee in her team’s corner behind her opponent. When Gillie got back to her feet, Angela darted across with a big boot to her jaw. Hinchcliffe scooped her up for a stalling vertical suplex, and held her up for nearly eight seconds before she drove her down into the mat. She reached across for Gillie’s leg for the cover when Stringer dropped to count.

Zack: Angela let all the blood go right to Gillie’s head, and dropped her! NHB may be going to the finals!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THR-NOPE!!

Gillie’s shoulder came up before the three, causing Angela to sit up and move around behind her. When Barnes started to rise, Angela applied a seated body scissors and then a full nelson at the same time.

Lyn: A submission here to slow down the pace of the match and allow Angela to put a sure squeeze on Barnes.

Stringer got to a knee in front of Gillie, looking for a submission as Angela shoved her chin down into her chest and squeezed her body at the same time. For added damage, Angela shook her upper body like a rag doll before returning back to the hold. She then tipped over to lay on her side, and pulled Gillie down with her at the same time. Barnes’ face darkened as Angela continued to try to add more pressure to the submission.

Lyn: Her neck, the struggle to draw breath... All of it is just barring down on Gillie.

Zack: Angela is the powerhouse of her team just like Gillie, and she’s putting every bit of it to use right now.

Mallory began trying to rally the BNB fans to life in an attempt to help Gillie stay conscious as it looked as though she were fading. Gillie’s hands began to wiggle a little before she tried to roll onto all fours. But Angela pulled her back down the mat instead, continuing to apply the pressure until Gillie rolled them onto her back and the referee went to count!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THRE-NOOOPE!!

Angela immediately broke the hold, and shoved “Old School” off of her. She checked with the referee it was just a two count, and got it confirmed before she rose back to her feet. But when she turned back to the rising Gillie, she caught a palm strike to the face before both women collapsed on the mat.

Lyn: OLD SCHOOL JAM BUT BARNES CAN’T CAPITALIZE!!

They were almost parallel to each other where they lay on the mat until Gillie finally began to stir and slowly sit up. She glanced around, trying to get her bearings and find her opponent before she rolled over and threw an arm over Angela.

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NOPE!!!

But Hinchcliffe got her shoulder up in time, and Gillie rolled off and looked for her partner. Mallory already had her hand outstretched, calling Gillie’s name to help her find her.

Zack: Gillie took too much to make the cover after the OLD SCHOOL JAM, and Angela miraculously managed to get her shoulder up. She needs to find Mallory and quick!

Lyn: She may not entirely have it in her to move--!

Angela soon began to move, and was closer to her corner as Jem was reaching out for her. Both brunettes finally made it back to their feet. As Gillie went towards her corner, Angela snatched her around the waist and planted her with a STO. Once again, it was a race to their feet as Angela was still feeling the effects of Gillie’s finisher. Angela was back up a second before Gillie, but Barnes surprised her with a roaring elbow to the jaw that staggered Angela. She fired her across into the ropes where Jem tagged her back as Angela rebounded. Gillie caught Angela with a spinebuster and into the cover as Jem headed up top.

Lyn: Blind tag and Gillie has no idea what’s in store for her!

Zack: Gillie’s still on wobbly leg street, and she doesn’t realize that Jem’s about to re-enter this match….in a very impactful way!

Stringer refused to count it, telling Gillie that Angela wasn’t the legal woman. Barnes got back to her feet with a confused look before she turned to Mallory, who told her to turn back around again. As Gillie turned, Angela ducked her head between her legs and hoisted her onto her shoulders. Hinchcliffe turned as Jem left the top rope with a tornado DDT from way up high into the mat! Barnes stood on her head for a half second before gravity brought her down the mat for Jem to make the cover!

Lyn: Not a Devastation Day Device but might have been JUST as bad!

ONE!!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NOPE!!

Jem was yanked off the cover by Mallory. Both members of NHB descended on the mechanic, with Mallory hitting anything that moved. She fired shots at both of them before rolling her arms and dropping Angela with a bionic elbow. A second one landed on Jem’s head before the referee got her back out of the ring, only for Gillie to crawl towards her for the tag.

Zack: Mallory didn’t have a choice, Lyn! She had to stop that, Gillie wasn’t getting up from that one! And now….”Old School” is about...YES..THERE’S THE TAG!!

Mallory went right back into the ring, taking off for the ropes as NHB began to rise. She caught Angela with a flying forearm that sent her through the ropes to the floor, only to turn into a fistfight with Jem. The two exchanged blows before Bennett whipped Jem across to the far side. As soon as she rebounded, Mallory left her feet for a Thesz press and unloaded right hands onto the redhead.

Lyn: The Malicious One is in and she’s hitting everything that damn near moves!

Zack: LIke a revolving door gone nuts! If it moves, Mallory’s got a shot for it! Lefts and rights a’plenty!

Mallory got to her feet, hoisting Jem up with her. But it didn’t last long as Angela came back in, catching her with a chop block to the back of her knee. Jem used a clothesline to send Gillie through the ropes to the floor before she headed for the corner. Angela hoisted Mallory onto her shoulders. And as she fell backwards for an electric chair, Jem came off the top rope with a spinning heel kick to the jaw! The redhead dove for the cover as Angela kept an eye out for Gillie while the referee counted.

Zack: DEVASTATION DAY DEVICE!!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Stringer called for the bell as Angela helped her partner to her feet. The pair embraced before the referee raised their hands officially in victory.

Hannah: Your winners….and heading to the finals……...NO HOLDING BACK!!!

Zack: All hell broke loose at the end there, but it was the big match experience that paid off in dividends here at Wipeout! NHB are going to the finals!

Lyn: That same experience may be the key to putting down the Max Sato Experience.

As Gillie came back into the ring, she and Mallory were helped up before NHB raised their hands and gave them both hugs. The Wrecking Crew returned the favor by raising their hands before rolling out to the floor.

Zack: I don’t know when it’s gonna happen, but I’m looking forward to being there when we crown our first ever Future Shock Tag Team Champions! And that could be them right there!

Lyn: Let’s just hope that it’s these two holding the tag titles when all's said and done, Zack.

Jem & Angela share a double fist bump in the center of the ring before we head elsewhere.

Here Today, Gone Today

As we return to the back, we see Future Shock reporter Sara Wilkins is not at the interview position. Instead, the brunette is heading through the hallways to some destination before she turns the corner and almost runs into the Director.

Sara: Sorry about that!

Adam: No problem. I’m glad you’re here. I need you to do me a favor.

He places a ring and bracelet into Sara’s hand before wrapping her fingers around them both, and then speaks again.

Adam: That’s Kaya Crimson’s jewelry I got back from the Choir earlier. Do me a favor, and go put that in her locker room. She’s still at the beach, but she’ll be glad to see it when she gets back.

Sara: Sure thing. I’ll do that now.

Adam: Thanks, Sara.

Adam heads one direction as Sara goes in the other, making another turn and passing some doorways before finding Kaya’s locker room. She opened the door, and sat the jewelry on the table. She glanced back to the door behind her before heading out the other way, and nearly running into someone else as she was about to make a turn.

Sara: Oh, hello Missy!

Missy: Hi, Sara. I almost didn’t see you there.

Sara: Seems to be a theme tonight. I saw you in the opening. What brought you to Wipeout though? Just getting to punch David Hasselhoff?

Missy: I thought that was a pretty good reason to be here, I’ve been itching to do that since December! But also I wanted to watch the show live, so I was going to be here anyway. Hasselhoff getting what he deserved was just a happy bonus.

Sara: Oh, well that makes sense. Tell you what, you can come with me to catering. I’m almost done for the night, and we can watch the rest of the show together. And they have crabcakes.

Missy: That sounds like a good idea to me, and who can resist crabcakes when they’re on offer?

The two double back to head to catering, but as they pass the room Sara had left, the reporter stops and looks back at the table with a curious look.

Sara: Now I know I left Kaya’s jewelry on that table…

Missy: Are you sure you didn’t put them somewhere else? Or maybe they fell off….

Sara: I’m positive they were right there….

As Sara looked more than a bit quizzical, someone in a black and blue Choir robe shuffled past behind them whistling a hymn. As they both glanced back to see the woman, the show heads elsewhere.

After a short video package showing the history of the Fireshock Sisters and Next Generation, we head back to the ring with Hannah standing by with her microphone.

Hannah: This next match is scheduled for one fall!

Zack: It seems like the Fireshock Sisters can’t get over coming up short more than once against Next Generation. That’s why I think Caitlyn’s been attacked, and more things set on fire. We may get some closure on this tonight, Lyn.

Lyn: We can only hope. One has to assume the Fireshock Sisters view it as having been shamed. They’ve done so much in FFW that they believe Next Generation should be below them... Which they’ve proven they simply are not.

“Going To Hell” by The Pretty Reckless hits the speakers, and the crowd is unanimous in their disapproval. Ignis walks out, carrying a cardboard sign reading “Ignis Is The Best” and hands it to one “lucky” fan at ringside.

Hannah: Making her way to the ring, from Llanfair PG, Wales, she is a self-proclaimed Wrestling God... IGNIS!!!

Ignis gives Caitlyn a cheesy smile and a thumbs up, before rolling into the ring. She climbs onto the second rope, and pumps her fist trying to start an “IGNIS” chant, which goes precisely nowhere.

Zack: Recently inducted into the Hall of Fame of FFW, Ignis is one of the most decorated women in the history of this brand. She’s also one of the most insufferable.

Lyn: It’s kinda impressive being so universally despised that you can’t even get one person to cheer you.

As the opening bars to Misfit by Amy Studt hit the speakers Caitlyn Storm appears from behind the curtain. The lights go out and a simple white pyrotechnic flashes making it look like lightning.

Hannah: Introducing at this time....Hailing from New York City, New York and weighing in at One Hundred and Twenty-Six pounds...She is Caitlyn Storm!

As the lights come back on Caitlyn makes her way down the ramp, smiling and tagging the fans hands as she passes and even stopping for a few fans to take selfies on their mobiles. She runs the rest of the way to the ring and jumps up onto the apron, then grabs onto the top rope with both hands and leap frogs over it to land in the ring. She raises her hands up waving to the fans. When she looks back to the ring, the smile turns cold for obvious reasons.

Zack: How impressive is Caitlyn Storm? On the last Future Shock Pay Per View, she showed an indomitable spirit against Harley Shannon. But it’s not about the spirit of competition here. This is personal!

Lyn: Which makes her that much more dangerous here. I think Ignis better watch out, lest she get her head kicked off.

Referee Malcolm Parks checks both women, and is about to call for the bell when Seth Star strolls towards ringside with a chorus of boos to greet him. Ignis smiles at the sight of him as she invites him onto the apron. The referee calls for the bell as Ignis holds up one finger to Caitlyn, asking for a moment before she kisses Seth for a bit….and a bit more. The redhead glances back to Caitlyn, asking for another moment as the blonde paces back and forth with growing aggravation. As the couple kiss again, the referee tries to get Seth off the apron. Caitlyn makes a beeline for Ignis, who immediately uses a mule kick between her legs to drop her. The referee sees none of it as Seth is finally going down to the floor. As Parks turns back, Ignis begins to drive elbows into the top of Caitlyn’s head repeatedly. She grabs a handful of her blonde hair and begins driving her face into the middle turnbuckle over and over again and then taking a moment to give the crowd a chance to appreciate it.

Lyn: Ignis never met an advantage she didn’t like, or an opportunity!

Zack: Let’s call that for what it was, to try and sucker Caitlyn in. There’s no other reason to be making out with a guy at the start of a match.

With Storm on her knees, Ignis rebounds off the near side and catches her with a low dropkick to the chest that puts her down on the mat. She pulls her arm flat out, and steps on her hand before stomping repeatedly on the arm and shoulder. A stomp to her fingers follows that before she steps through, and applies a Fujiwara armbar. Storm senses it coming, and immediately tries to scramble for the ropes. She finally makes it, hooking the bottom rope with her other arm before Ignis has a chance to get the hold applied. The Firebird seemed to grumble at that before dropping a knee into her shoulder. As the blonde tries to get to her feet, Ignis quickly applies a hammerlock behind her.

Zack: This right here is textbook Ignis, Lyn. I tell you what, I think she and Sophia Pike could compare notes on how to destroy someone’s arm.

Lyn: Picking apart the arm, bending it around and twisting it like a pretzel... Pike and Ignis... That’s a duo I wouldn’t want to meet.

Ignis proceeded to talk some trash behind Caitlyn’s head, further irritating the blonde as her arm was locked behind her. It only spurred her to connect with a back elbow to the side of Ignis’ head that stunned her. A second and third followed that before she broke free, and caught her with a back heel kick to the chest. Caitlyn used her other arm to unload with a series of chops before she whipped her across to the far side. A roundhouse kick met the Firebird on the rebound, and dropped her to her knees. Storm immediately hit the near side ropes as Ignis was starting to get up, and putting her down with a leg lariat.

Zack: That’s the thing with Caitlyn! Ignis likes to work arms, but Caitlyn Storm is a proficient striker and far more dangerous with those legs and feet!

Lyn: She’ll soften her up surely, but Storm’s offense will continue picking her apart. Nasty roundhouse there... And there’s a leg lariat!

Caitlyn shook her arm a moment, and took off for the ropes again. With Ignis starting to get back up once more, the blonde left her feet with a bicycle kick that caught the Firebird flush on the jaw. Caitlyn went for the cover and a hook of the leg before Parks was in position.

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

TH-NOOOOPE!!

Ignis got her shoulder up before the three, and Caitlyn rolled back to her feet. She looked down at what discoloration was left of the taser shot to her abdomen and back to Ignis with a bigger scowl.

Lyn: Storm reminding herself of what the Fireshock Sisters and Seth has put her to. That doesn’t bode well for Ignis!

Zack: You just know that everyday Caitlyn looks at herself in the mirror and sees that on her abdomen, it just made her a little more angry day by day. Now it’s time for retribution!

Caitlyn yanked Ignis back to her feet, and fired her across into the far side. The Firebird struck back first with Caitlyn right behind her with a rolling koppu kick that would have floored her if she wasn’t leaning against the corner. Storm nipped up to her feet, grabbed the top rope with both hands, and unleashed a barrage of kicks to the body one after another in rapid fire succession. Storm hopped up onto the middle rope, and snapped Ignis down to the mat with a hurricanrana.

Zack: Caitlyn Storm is showing Ignis that it’s not her arms you have to worry about when you face her, look at those shots!

Lyn: ...Now that I think it Zack, has Ignis EVER faced someone like Caitlyn before? Quick as a whip, but all leg based, a lot of Ignis’s weapons simply aren’t as debilitating here.

Caitlyn headed towards the corner, and made her way to the top rope. She perched herself a moment as Ignis pulled the referee to her on the mat while Seth yanked Caitlyn’s foot out from under her. Storm landed straddling the turnbuckle before Seth hopped down. Ignis shoved the referee away, and started getting to her feet. She was clearly a little wobbly, but darted at Caitlyn with a leaping European uppercut that rocked her where she sat. The Firebird climbed up with her, and brought her down with a superplex! She quickly hooked the leg for the cover as Parks dropped to count.

Lyn: Now that’ll keep her down!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NOPE!!!

Caitlyn kicked out before the three as Ignis climbed back to her feet with a bit of irritation on her face. She connected with a spiral leg drop before getting back to her feet again.

Zack: Ignis is certainly resilient, but with Seth out here, she’s possibly even more dangerous than she is on her own.

Ignis stomped away at Caitlyn before taking off towards the ropes. She rebounded quickly into a rolling thunder senton followed by straight right hands to Caitlyn’s head. The Firebird rolled to her feet, and took off towards the ropes. She executed a springboard splash that landed perfectly before she went for the cover again!

Zack: A FLAME WHEEL...right into the INCENDIARY BOMB!! Ignis may have it right now!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NOPE!!!!

Once more, Caitlyn got her shoulder up in time and put Ignis into a huff. She pressed her foot against Caitlyn’s shoulder, and executed a snap flipping over the other side. It caused Storm to yelp in pain before Ignis started to smile.

Lyn: Caitlyn’s shoulders and arms are taking every bit of punishment. That superplex did no favors and now that snapmare? Forget about it.

The Firebird went right back to work by stomping on her arm, and then jerking her to her feet. She turned it into a wristlock, and began twisting against the bone to cause even more pain. It brought Storm down to her knees as Ignis stood over her, still applying the pressure. Caitlyn gritted her teeth, and got back to her feet to deliver a standing sidekick into Ignis’ ribs. It worked well enough to cause a break before Caitlyn jerked the Firebird forward. She planted her head between her legs, and hooked both arms before dropping her face down into the mat with a facebuster! She quickly rolled her over, looking for the cover.

Zack: Ignis just got her pedigree checked, and Caitlyn’s looking to end it right now!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NOPE!!!

Ignis managed to get her foot across the bottom rope, causing Parks to stop his count. Storm saw it, and rose back to her feet. She glanced behind her, and took off towards the ropes as Ignis was beginning to rise. When she did, Storm came off with an Asai moonsault to the delight of the crowd.

Lyn: Picture perfect moonsault!

Zack: Caitlyn barely even needs her arms and shoulders, all she needs are those legs and feet! She is positively lethal with them!

With Ignis slow to get up, Caitlyn bounded towards the ropes again. When the Firebird was vertical, Caitlyn springboarded off the middle rope into a spinning heel kick to the jaw that dropped Ignis like a rock! The fans came to their feet as Caitlyn went for the cover with a hook of the leg!

Zack: That’s the EYE OF THE STORM!!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

Parks called for the bell to a pop from the crowd as Caitlyn rolled to her feet. She had her hand raised, which brought a wide smile to her face.

Lyn: You can count to thirteen after that shot! They heard the smack of boot and flesh over in Miami!

Hannah: Here’s your winner by pinfall……………………...CAITLYN STORM!!!

Zack: A gutty performance by Caitlyn Storm sees her pick up a big win over a Future Shock veteran like Ignis! She has every reason to smile.

Storm rolled out to the floor, greeting a few ringside fans with hugs and taking selfies with a couple of them. Seth rolled into the ring to tend to a very aggravated Ignis.

Lyn: There’s nothing Ignis can say here, and Seth isn’t even pulling out a taser.

With Storm heading up the ramp, Wipeout heads elsewhere.

The words “Recorded This Afternoon…” appear in the corner of the screen as the show cuts to one of the shorelines somewhere near Tampa. Part of the beach is cordoned off with fans surrounding it as they see some of the production staff checking over six jet skis sitting in the surf. We also see the six women competing in the challenge as they get ready. First, we see Mila Midnight stretching in a red two piece swimsuit. Casey Atherton is wearing ….a business suit top with shorts. Britt Kane and Angel are both wearing white bikinis, while Kaya Crimson and Rose are chatting with each other.

Zack: It’s time for the jet ski challenge we promised, fans. As you can see, the girls are ready to go out there. The rules are simple for this. They are to go out to the buoy you see there in the distance and circle around it before coming back.

Lyn: Zack did I miss something. Why is... Casey wearing a... You know what. I don’t wanna know.

One of the officials blow the whistle, and all six women head for their respective jet skis after putting on their life jackets. Kaya casts a long stare over at Casey for a moment, and glances around. For once, none of the choir seems to be present. Britt looks quite eager to get started, while Angel looks like she’d much rather be beating up Britt, thanks to a stare she’s giving the newcomer. “Poison” Rose Gardner is dressed like a Totodile, including a blue plastic tail and her head peeking out of it’s mouth.

Lyn: A Roseodile. The Nom Nom Pokemon. Poison and Water Type... Special attacks include Poison Jab, Water Pulse, Constrict, and... Roll Out? I didn’t even know Water Types could learn Roll Out.

Zack:  Well she’s special. And seems to have a costume for every occasion. Plus there’s nowhere out here to hide a Nintendo box.

The whistle blows again as they all start pushing their watercraft into the ocean, start them running, and take off with the beachgoers watching. We go to a helicopter view overhead as the girls race straight ahead towards the buoy quite a bit away. Britt Kane starts to edge ahead, and halfway take the lead before we see Kaya Crimson gaining ground right behind her. Rose and Casey are neck and neck for a moment until a member of the choir pops out from under water in his robe with a snorkel in his mouth. It startles Rose who swerves to avoid hitting him, giving Casey the lead over her.

Lyn: ...I see the choir are like active naval mines in the water. Shoulda ran him over Rose.

Zack: No one would blame her if she had have done that!

Mila begins to gain ground on Casey as she starts to pull up near her. Atherton glances over her shoulder as the water sprays behind her. The former military officer finally gains on her and passes her, and starts to run even with Kaya Crimson for the lead. Angel finally gets a better control of her jet ski, and starts to get closer to them as she goes up alongside Britt. They circle the buoy within seconds of each other, and begin heading back towards the shore. Angel starts veering towards Britt, looking as though she were trying to run into her. But Kane starts trying to keep distance between them.

Zack: Angel doesn’t need to be getting that close to the other jet skis, that can be dangerous for whoever is on it. Not that I think she cares at all.

Lyn: She doesn’t strike me as someone worried about the safety of human life.

Mila takes the lead as Rose pulls ahead of Casey after the turn, causing some of the water to splash into her face. Casey doesn’t bother going around the buoy though, and just makes a sharp turn ahead of it and takes the lead as a result. As she takes the lead, another choir member comes up from under the water in his robe and snorkel...causing Mila to swerve to avoid him. Casey beams as she heads towards the shore with the field trying to catch up to her.

Lyn: These churchgoers are putting themselves in harm’s way just to offer Casey a lead.

Zack: You’re not kidding! They could suffer serious injury with one of these devices. But they just keep popping up.

Unlike the others, Kaya makes a beeline right for the choir member. She scares the life out of him as he dives back underwater to avoid her. She begins to gain on Casey with Rose, and Britt right behind her. Angel also begins to gain some ground as well, while Mila seems to be focused entirely on the shore. All six begin to run within a jet ski of one another, looking like a photo finish is about to take place.

Zack: They are barreling towards the shore despite all the damn choir members who Casey has apparently planted in the Atlantic!

Lyn: We may have to use the instant replay for this one!

With the six women barreling towards the shore, we begin to see more members of the Future Shock Choir appear on the beach. They each produce a NERF gun from under their robes in lock step like military officers.

Lyn: The choir with NERF guns... And not the kind you get from Dollar General either when you were a kid and mowing lawns saw you get no scratch! THESE ARE REAL NERF GUNS!

Zack: I wondered where they were when this thing started, I guess they were loading up! She can’t even try to win a jet ski race fair!

And as the women bolt forward, they aim and start firing at five of them, but not Casey. Britt and Kaya catch foam missiles in the face as Casey picks up the lead. Rose bats the missiles away with ease, but loses some distance along with Mila before Casey makes it back first. Casey is ruled the winner as the other jet skis come to a stop. As Casey raises her hand in victory, Kaya bolts off her jet ski and tackles her to the ground and starts unloading on the redhead. The Choir immediately begin pummeling her before Britt and Mila and Rose try to help out until security manages to pull everyone apart.

Zack: Kaya wants a piece of Casey, but she dove right into the middle of the Choir! And we both know those nuts don’t have a problem getting physical!

Lyn: Crimson don’t know much about jetskis, but she does know how to throw hands... here comes security!

Amidst the confusion, Angel looked to be slipping up behind Britt as she was watching it all unfold. And just as she was about to wrap the piano wire around her neck, Kane caught her with a spinning backfist that sent her into the sand. She was about to go after her before security went to pull them apart as well.

Zack: This water challenge has broken down into a brawl, good thing we have security out there or this would have gotten even more out of hand! Casey has won the jet ski challenge, even if no one is happy about it.

Lyn: I’m not sure how done with each other Casey or Kaya may be... Or Britt or Angel for that matter.

As the girls are separated, the show heads back to the Amalie Arena.

The Wilting Rose

As the show comes back from a brief commercial for Sin & Sacrifice, we find the arena darkened entirely except for a lone spotlight over the ring. Standing in that spotlight are five little girls, each in matching black dresses. They hold hands in a circle, and begin to sing.

Ring-a-ring o' roses,
A pocket full of posies,
A-tishoo! A-tishoo!
We all fall down

The girls stop in their tracks where they stand before they are accompanied by the music that goes with the nursery rhyme they are singing. They also begin to dance around hand in hand again.

Ring-a-round the rosie,
A pocket full of posies,
Ashes! Ashes!
We all fall down

They all start giggling, and run out of the spotlight before reappearing under it again with baskets in their hands. One by one, they file out of the ring, leaving a trail of wilted rose petals behind them...almost as if they are leaving a path before they disappear to the back. The path is lit as a result before more music begins to play now.

Are you awake, You're gonna have to hear the words I say
Don't you try turn away, I'm everything you ever dreamed I'd be
I'll make you wish that you never talked, Back to me
I can't wait to watch your ego bleed
Your pain will set me free

Suddenly a hand starts to rise from under the sand on the beach themed stage. It reaches up from the dirt, and is followed by another. Each hand seems like it’s being pulled up like a root before a red haired woman shimmies up to stand on the stage with a long stare at the crowd then the camera.

I'll make you beg, I'm gonna teach you things you won't forget
Don't you try turn away, I'm everything you ever dreamed I'd be
I'll make you wish that you never talked, Back to me
I can't wait to watch your ego bleed
Your pain will set me free

The woman in a flowing black dress heads down the aisle, taking her time before she arrives at the bottom of the ramp. She throws her head back, and kisses her hand before blowing towards the rafters when the lights come back up to show it is a woman already known to SVW fans….

Lacey.

She strolls up the steps, stepping through the ropes into the ring, already achieving quite a din of boos from the crowd (at least the ones who recognize her). She picks up a microphone left for her, and looks around the Tampa crowd for a moment before lifting it to her lips.

Lacey: Oh come now, how can you boo little ole me.. You haven’t even had the pleasure of getting to know me yet. I can see that some of you recognize me, you must be SVW fans. In which case you’ll already know my name. For those who don’t I am Lacey and as you should have already deduced I am an SVW wrestler… and now, Future Shock too. Aren’t you all just lucky? Double doses of deliciousness. I’ve been an avid fan of Future Shock, but alas it was missing something. It needed a little spice. A little flavor. A little tantalising. So here I am. It’s ok, you can all thank me later, I understand that my presence has probably left you all a little awestruck.  Don’t be ashamed to look. Because as Future Shock will come to know….

She inhales as though she is smelling a bouquet of flowers before her eyes pop open with a smile.

Lacey: Pain can be beautiful.

The boos begin anew as the Stitched Up Heart song begins to play again, and we head to a brief commercial for the Future Shock merchandise online store.

A clip shows us Valerie’s bullying of Gaby on a recent Future Shock before we hear the comments made by both following that incident. From there, we head back to the ring with the bubbly Hannah holding the microphone.

Hannah: This next match is set for one fall!

Zack: Here’s a match that Valerie McKinley could have avoided. But the 1 Percenter wanted to make Gaby bend to her will, and we both the “Wildcat” doesn’t stand for that.

Lyn: I’d think Val would know that cats don’t come when you call.

The lights in the arena sharply cut off, leaving everything in complete darkness. The chiming of a clock is heard echoing in the darkness, followed by a chipper, circus like chime tone. As the tone chimes on, a vibrant gold spotlight shines down on the top of the stage. The circus chimes are soon replaced by the opening chorus of “Villain” by Wild Fire.

Tic tic toc, the time bomb clock
Ticks grinning ear to ear here baby
Tic Tic Toc, the time bomb clock
ticks counting down...
tic, tic stop!

At the exact moment “stop” is sung, the song kicks into full gear, setting off a series of shimmering gold strobe lights going off on either side of the ramp. A few seconds pass before the controversial redhead, Valerie McKinley makes her way out from behind the curtain and stands in the immediate center of the stage, standing in the gold spotlight.

You know I speak in riddles,
And I’m plotting to destroy
Villain as I always was
Crazy is as crazy does

Clad in a mid-thigh length leather jacket worn open over her gear, Valerie looks around at the crowd showering her with a rousing chorus of boos. The strobe lights begin to lessen in intensity as she makes her way down the aisle, her arms at her side and a focused look on her face. As she makes her way to the ring, the fans on either side of the aisle make their displeasure at her appearance rather noticeable, which Valerie simply dismisses with an arrogant flip of her hand.

My sanity's in short supply
Mad as a hatter, hey surprise!
T-T-T-Ticking bomb on the inside
Livin' with the villain pacing in my mind.

Hannah: Ladies and gentlemen, making her way down to the ring…..from Providence, Rhode Island…….Valerie McKinley!!

The boos grow louder as Valerie hops up onto the apron and spins around so her back is resting on the ropes. With her head bowed, she lifts both arms up towards her head and has her pointer finger and thumb on both hands close to her head. She lifts her head up and extends her arms out, her fingers pointing out at the crowd like pistols. She then makes a motion like she was firing her finger guns at the crowd before stepping through the bottom and middle ropes and into the ring.

I'm blowing up the mystery
And all the pretty things you see
Light flame to fuse
And Sparks will fly
You said goodnight
Now say goodbye

Once in the ring, she walks around with her arms extended outward, reveling in the heat from the crowd. She walks over to the corner and peels off her jacket, letting it drop to the apron as the lights return to normal and her music fades out. She rests her back against the turnbuckles and brushes a few stray strands of hair out of her face, awaiting the start of the action.

Zack: There’s no conceit in the McKinley family, Valerie has it all! And I think it’s entirely possible she has bitten off more than she can chew early on in her Future Shock career.

Lyn: Gaby is a veteran in the squared circle of a few years but the Pride of Providence will not that let shade her shine.

As "Endless Possibilities"'s first guitar chords crank the sound system, some of the arena lights blink in pink, crimson red and white, as Gabrielle Crimson appears on the top of the entrance aisle. The Wildcat looks around, smiling at the audience, nodding at the houseful of cheers in acknowledgment before she blows a kiss to the crowd and then sprints towards the ring, high-fiving the crowd in her way.

Hannah:And her opponent, from Saint Raphael, France... WELCOME BACK…."The Wildcat"... GABRIELLE CRIMSON!

Gaby then jumps into the ring, rolling under the bottom rope, and immediately makes a beeline to the far turnbuckle, climbing onto the second rope and blowing more kisses to the audience. She does the same thing again in another turnbuckle, making sure to cover as much of the audience as possible, before hopping down to the mat and taking shelter in a corner.

Zack: It’s been a long while since the last time that woman put on her wrestling gear, but I talked with her earlier. She’s got the claws out, and wants to show an upstart Prospect there are some wild animals you don’t poke.

Lyn: You don’t tug Batman’s cowl, you don’t reach for Wonder Woman’s lasso, and you don’t pull the Wildcat’s claw.

Referee Angela Keanan checks Gaby before the “Wildcat” begins pacing back and forth in her corner. And as soon as she checks Valerie and calls for the bell, Gaby takes off across the ring with a dead sprint and surprises McKinley with a whirlwind of right hands that back her into the corner. Crimon fires a trio of knife edge chops before she whips her across for the ride. McKinley lands back first in the far corner before Gaby charges in with a splash! The crowd is already electric as the redhead stumbles out, only for Gaby to hop onto the middle turnbuckle from the inside and mow her down with a clothesline. Gaby nips up to her feet with a yell, and the crowd responds in kind.

Zack: It’s almost as though Gaby was a rampaging bull just let out of the gate, and she’s full of fire and we’ve barely gotten started!

Lyn: McKinley is trying to pull herself back from the brink and this was not the type of offense she was expecting.

As the redhead tried to get up, Gaby used the middle rope for a springboard into a guillotine leg drop across the back of her head. She popped back to her feet, dragging Valerie up with her before she drove her head into the turnbuckle repeatedly. The crowd counted 9 shots before the “Wildcat” took off for the far side. As McKinley turned around, Crimson planted her with a sling blade clothesline. The crowd was roaring as Gaby headed for the far corner, and got into a crouch as she waved Valerie to get up as she bounced up and down.

Zack: What a clothesline from one fired up Wildcat! Look at that! She’s going for the spear right now!

Lyn: We’re looking at a Crimson Spear coming!

It was clear that Valerie was already wobbly after all the sudden abuse she’d taken as she pulled herself up with the help of the ropes. The crowd only got louder as Gaby was practically bouncing on her feet now, waiting on her to turn around. When McKinley did, Gaby shot across the ring with a spear in mind….only for Valerie to drop down and roll out to the floor. Gaby stopped herself amid a chorus of boos for Valerie. Crimson shook her head, and rolled out around the corner to the floor. She hopped onto the barricade and ran around the corner as Valerie turned into a flying shoulder tackle!

Zack: McKinley can’t get away from Gaby, there’s nowhere safe! And I’ll go ahead and say I don’t think Gaby’s lost a step at all!

Lyn: McKinley doesn’t know up from down, left from right or Tampa from Tallahassee!

Gaby pulled Valerie back to her feet, and shoved her back into the ring before sliding in after her. Crimson nipped back to her feet as Valerie was looking to go in the other direction. Crimson grabbed her by the head as she was doing that, scooping her up high for an atomic drop that sent Valerie face first into the corner and stumbling backwards right into a waiting backslide from the former Future Shock Champion. Keanan dropped to count.

Zack: McKinley’s not even gonna get a shot in, Gaby with a backslide!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

TH-NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPE!!!

She kicked out in time before the three, and rolled off to the mat. Crimson got back to her feet again, now with the crowd wanting her to go for the Spear again. She nodded her head as she listened to them, only for Valerie to surprise her with a jawbreaker when she turned towards her.

Lyn: The 1 Percenter once again making sure that spear doesn’t come at her.

Crimson stumbled backwards holding her jaw as Valerie pushed up to her feet, and began to fire off a series of kicks to her body. Several in a row landed up and down her abdomen, and backed Gaby into the ropes. Valerie fired her across to the far side, and caught her with a spinning roundhouse kick to the jaw on the rebound that crumpled her to the mat. Valerie leaned against the ropes, trying to pull herself together after Gaby’s opening offense.

Lyn: I’ve heard some rumblings that Kyle is part of the reason that Valerie was on the Wipeout show poster... Nasty roundhouse kick there and Gaby goes down.

Zack: It wouldn’t surprise me at all. He’s certainly been high on her ever since she arrived. He’s certainly her biggest advocate around her.

She finally seemed to get her wits about her as Gaby was starting to get up again. But the redhead caught her with a running kneelift to the face that dropped her back down. Valerie showed great flexibility as she brought her leg up and back down with an axe kick to the back of the veteran’s head. As Crimson tried to sit up, Valerie wrapped both of her arms around her neck and dropped to a seat behind her for a straitjacket submission with her knees pressed into Crimson’s back at the same time.

Zack: Valerie is trying to sap a lot of the energy Gaby came into this match with, and this right here will do that and give her time to think about plan B.

Lyn: Slowing things down to her pace, not letting Gaby throw mountains of reserved energy at her.

Keanan dropped to a knee in front of Gaby, asking her if she wanted to submit. But she never got the answer that she did, as Gaby’s face began to darken. It was also tensed as she was being pulled against Valerie’s knees at the same time. The fans began chanting to try to keep her going as Valerie started to lean back in the hold, stretching Gaby backwards a bit to do more damage as the referee moved closer to check for the submission again.

Lyn: Every drop of stamina is being sapped out of Gaby and she can’t do a thing about it.

Zack: Like a python, the life and breath is being squeezed out of the “Wildcat!” She better find a way soon, or this is going to end quickly!

Crimson’s face only darkened more now as Valerie was pulling with all she had. The Tampa crowd only got louder still until Gaby kicked her feet up and over and found herself pinning McKinley to the mat as she was on top of her now! Keanan made the count.

Zack: Gaby’s in big trouble, she can’t take---LOOK AT THAT!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THR-NOOOOOOOOOPE!!!

Valerie managed to shove he off to break the cover, and Gaby collapsed to the mat while trying to get her breath.

Lyn: With one good hold, the entire complexion of the match changes.

Valerie pushed back to her feet with a slight scowl on her face as Gaby was on her knees, gasping for breath. McKinley hit the near side ropes, and delivered a knee trembler into the side of her head before dropping in place to make the cover. The referee was right on the spot!

Lyn: Knee trembler and down goes The Wildcat!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEE-NOPE!!

Lyn: Just not enough!

Crimson got her shoulder up before the three, and Valerie punished her for it by cradling her head and driving right hands into her face before getting back to her feet. A few well placed boots to the back of her head followed that before she pulled her up into a front facelock. It wasn’t clear what she had in mind before Gaby ran her backwards into the corner.  And before she could register what happened, Crimson scooped her and planted her with a backdrop driver. And then the “Wildcat” collapsed to lean against the ropes herself.

Lyn: A backdrop driver from out of nowhere and the 1 Percenter just got the accordion treatment!

The crowd once more began trying to rally the former Future Shock Champion as she pulled herself to her feet. She seemed to getting her wind back as she circled around behind the rising redhead. Valerie finally made it back to her feet before Gaby descended on her, and locked in a cobra clutch. Valerie’s eyes widened at that as the hold sunk in, and Gaby began trying to step on the back of her knee to bring her down.

Zack: Gaby’s been picking up some submission moves since her time away, Lyn. Valerie nor most anyone was expecting the “Wildcat” to bring out a cobra clutch tonight!

Lyn: Textbook hold there, and now the shoe is on the other foot.

Finally, Gaby managed to step on the back of her leg and bring her down to the mat. She rolled onto her side, so as not to get pinned before she wrapped her legs around her waist for additional pressure. The referee moved around into position to see if McKinley wanted to quit, but got no such response as Gaby tried to tighten the hold.

Lyn: McKinley is struggling to figure out a way to escape the hold but she’s more or less trapped here!

Keanan continued to check for Valerie’s submission, though didn’t get one as her eyes started to close before she kicked her leg out and got her foot across the bottom rope. The referee called for the break, and Gaby broke on a two count and got to her knees. She listened to the crowd getting behind her again, and glanced over to Valerie who was trying to get herself together. Crimson got back to her feet, and headed for the corner and got into a crouch. The crowd knew what was coming as she started to bounce on the balls of her feet and wave Valerie to get back to her feet.

Lyn: It looks like she’s about to get it! There’s a Crimson Spear with her name on it!

Zack: Do it, Gaby! The second time may well be the charm! They want to see it!

Valerie was clearly worn down as she reached for the ropes to help her get back to her feet. The crowd began chanting “SPEAR SPEAR SPEAR!” loudly at this point. Gaby rose slowly as Valerie started to turn around, and bolted towards her in a dead sprint. She left her feet for the spear, but Valerie caught her head and countered with a double knee facebreaker instead!

Lyn: GOODNIGHT IRENE!

Crimson crumpled to the mat in a heap as Valerie gasped for breath and started to smile slightly at what she’d done. She pulled herself to her feet about the same time as Gaby was stumbling and trying to get to hers as well. McKinley snatched her forward, and delivered her swinging reverse STO in the center of the ring. She immediately made the cover as Keanan fell to count.

Zack: That’s DIVINE PROVIDENCE!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

Keanan called for the bell to a loud symphony of boos. Valerie rolled off the cover, that slight smile growing wider before she was helped to her feet by Kyle Kilmeade. She gave him a smile as he raised her hand, while the official raised the other.

Hannah: Your winner by pinfall……………….VALERIE MCKINLEY!!!

Zack: Valerie McKinley took a pounding out there from a fired up Gaby, but she still managed to survive and get her hand raised. Both she and Kyle look very happy with themselves,

Lyn: I’m sure we’ll be hearing about this ad nauseum from both.

Kyle sat on the middle rope, holding it open for her as she stepped out before joining her on the floor. He raised her hand once more as she leaned against him, clearly having a lot taken out of her. The camera moved in closer as he said she was more than the franchise, she was the future. That certainly brought a smile to her face as they headed up the ramp. And on that image, the show heads elsewhere.

Sydney Bound

The show returns to the back, where we find Adam standing in front of a monitor hyping the November 14th Future Shock from Sydney, Australia at the Qudos Bank Arena.

Adam: When we went to London a few weeks back, we got a very warm welcome and reception from a tremendous crowd in the O2 Arena! As a result of that, we’re gonna be visiting quite a few far flung places from our usual home in Boston. On November 14th, we’re taking Future Shock down under to Sydney, Australia at the Qudos Bank Arena for a special televised event!

He gestures to the monitor showing the details on the show before it blinks off of that to a very familiar blond woman. As soon as Adam sees her, a grin forms on his face.  Kelly Fury gives a big smile towards the camera, excitedly waving with both hands.

Adam: And part of that show is the woman who trained one of the most beloved teams of FFW’s past, the Pistols. I’m talking about none other than KELLY FURY!

The crowd gives her a very warm reception as they see her on the big screen in the arena. Adam then turns towards the monitor to see her better.

Kelly: Hiiiiii Adam and to all the fabulous FFW females and da faaans!

Adam: Kelly here will step foot for the first time in a Future Shock ring. And if you haven’t seen on Twitter, she’s already got her opponent who wanted to face her: Jessica Anderson.

Kelly: Mah Boo Boo Snuggle Muffin.

Adam: Many of our fans on Twitter know you and Jessica go back and forth all the time on there, to great amusement for a lot of people. Why do you think she wanted to face you so bad despite already working with you in another promotion….fond of putting her in triple threats?

Kelly: Oh no silly, it’s not that In Your House is fond of putting her into Triple Threats, it’s just that no matter what the company is, she just sucks at them.  Always loses.  In fact, I was going to suggest a triple threat for this match just to freak her out but I wanted her to at least believe she had a 50-50 chance, instead of 0% chance, ya know? And I’m sure the reason why she wants to face me is because our debut match at In Your House, it was a triple threat, HA! But her hubby Craig McLame-Face totes ruined it by beating us.  I know right? How very dare he.

Adam: And come November 14 in Sydney, what can our viewers expect to see if they haven’t seen you in the ring before now? And better yet, what can Jessica expect?

Kelly: Flying Fury….that describes my ring style best I believe.  Jessy-Baby can totes expect a DDT Battle…she knows what I’m talking about.

Adam: I’m looking forward to it, and we’ll be seeing you very soon! I may get you to show me some dance moves….

Kelly: Oh-em-gee, definitely, dancing is a great way to warm up before a match.  I can’t wait to see y’all in Sydney, love yas!

On Kelly’s beaming face, we head back to the ring.

A brief history between Andi and Max’s tandem as well as Bianca is shown before we head back to ringside. Hannah looks a little disgusted as she glances to the image of Max on the video wall before she begins.

Hannah: The next match is a tag team contest scheduled for one fall!

Zack: I don’t know how much continuity we are going to see out of one of these teams, but I’m especially curious to find out, Lyn. Andi and Bianca aren’t exactly two you’d put together.

Lyn: No, but you know what? I’m willing to bet that for Max Sato, they’re willing to make more than an exception.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9k91x6-XST8

As the bending guitar notes of Destrose “Maze” kicks off over the speakers, Max Sato ventures out through the curtain and onto the ramp with an exaggerated flourish, carrying a plastic bag in one hand and a mic in the other

Max Sato: Ladies and gentlemen, put your ignorant cracker hands together for the Max Sato Experience, hailing from Japan in spirit, standing larger-than-life and weighing in at… uh, they refused to tell me: “Kumiho” Ji-Huuuuuuuu Myeooooooong and Avantasia “Power” Booooooooom!

The two woman burst out from the back, Ava nodding her head to the rock beat while Ji-Hu ignores it, as a trio they make their way down the ramp as Max wanders to either side of the ramp, procuring streamers from the plastic bag he’s holding and handing it to fans, many of whom refuse or immediately try to pelt the young Japanese man with them.

Reaching the ring, Ji-Hu and Ava slide in, going to adjacent corners and mounting the turnbuckles, Avantasia waves nervously to the crowd and Ji-Hu merely nods while Max himself stands between the two on the outside apron, soaking in the imagined adulation even as he continues to be pelted by various articles from the crowd.

After a moment the two ladies push off the ropes and walk to their corner, discussing tactics with Sato as they await the start of their match.

Zack: Tampa, unsurprisingly to no one, has no love for the Max Sato Experience tonight at Wipeout. But these two and Max are just one match away from making history as Future Shock’s first tag champions.

Lyn: ...I’ll be honest Zack, I kind of want to know what place would actually cheer Max Sato Experience.

As the crowd showed the Experience nothing but boos, fans were curious as they saw a production assistant wheeling a massive barrel towards the ring. He wheels to one corner, and sets it down as the camera zooms in to see “live” written on the side. Max, Ji-Hu, and Avantasia look more than a little alarmed.

Lyn:  .........................Zack. Is that a GIANT BARREL OF ROACHES?!

Zack: Uhm…..your guess is as good as mine. You don’t think Bianca actually….

[CUE THE SOUNDCHIP! An 8-bit version of the song from the Goonies start playing as the main lights dim down in the arena, with small star spotlights in a variety of colors flying around the crowd. 8-bit stars fill the videoboards, right up until the words start and Andi Takata comes sprinting out of the back to hit her mark. ]

# GOOD -GOOD- GOOD

[Andi hops into place, already in her Magical Girl pose, with blue and white sparkling pyro popping behind her, and the videoboards all exploding into pixellated color madness! The bassline kicks in and Andi dances for a moment before she starts to head for the ring, taking her time to enjoy her 'Starlights'!]

#Here we are, Hanging onto strains of greed and blues
#Break the chain then we break down
#Oh it's not real, if you don't feel it
#Unspoken expectations
#Ideals we used to play with
#Finally taking shape for us.

[By this time, Andi has reached the ringside fans, and cues them up for the dance party!]

#What's good enough (good enough)
#For you is
#Good enough (good enough)
#For me it's good enough (good enough)
#It's good enough for me
#Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah!!!

[And when Pacman whirrs down, Andi punches the air above her and makes her way back around the ring to get to the rest of her Starlights, before heading up the steps and into the ring....]

#goodgoodgoodgoodgood...

#Now you'll say You're startin' to feel the push.... and pull
#Of what could be and never can
#You mirror me... stumblin' through those
#Old fashioned superstitions
#I find too hard to breaaaak
#Maybe you're out of place whaaaat's

[The song builds up again, and Andi, after running the ropes by this point, stops in the middle, to rally EVERYONE up to join her in a big ol' Caramelldanse! And most do!]

#Good enough (good enough)
#For you is
#Good enough (good enough)
#For me It's good enough (good enough)
#It's good enough for me
#Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah!!

[Andi runs up the turnbuckles for one last go! Keep dancing everyone!]

#Good enough (good enough)
#For you Is
#Good enough (good enough)
#For me.. It's good, it's good enough
#It's good enough for me
#Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah!!!!

[Andi finally hops down as the song fades away....]

Hannah: And their opponents, first representing the BURNING STAR EXPRESS….the current co-holder of the FFW Unity Championship….’THE LUCKY STAR’ ANDI TAKATA!!!

Andi looks over at the barrel on the floor, which seems to be moving just a little in place as though something was in it.

Zack: One half of the Unity Champions….FFW Hall of Famer….the accolades read long for Andi Takata! A tag team specialist, if ever there were one in this business!

Lyn: Bianca can at least say this, if there was any tag partners she could choose, you can’t go wrong with one who may have written part of the book on tag wrestling!

I told ya, baby
Uh-oh
I told ya

The arena darkens as “Rockstar 101” by Rihanna begins to play before the camera takes us behind a woman with purple hair. She steps out onto the stage, raising her hand and making a fist as the camera looks over her shoulder. She tosses her sunglasses on her head out to the crowd as she heads towards the ring.

Rocking these diamonds
I'm rocking this chain
Make sure you get a picture
I'm rocking my fame

Hannah: And her partner, Introducing from Atlanta, Georgia, this is the Princess of the Reed family……...BIANCA REED!!!!

Bianca makes a detour to the ring, giving the barrel a pat which is still moving in place just a little. Reed smiles up to the ring before sliding under the rope and up to her feet.

Lyn: ...She’s going to do something terrible and awesome with that barrel, isn’t she? The Princess of House Reed ain’t messing around tonight.

Zack: I know one thing, Max nor his girls have taken their eyes off that barrel since it came out here. It seems to be moving. It must be LOADED!

Referee Angela Keanan checks all four women as Max wants the barrel removed, but the referee informs him there is nothing illegal about having a barrel at ringside. He exits slowly, still keeping his eyes on it as the referee calls for the bell. But instead of one each starting, Bianca and Andi charge right at Ji-Hu and Avantasia to the roar of the crowd! Andi catches Ji-Hu with a running forearm that sends her back into the ropes, and continues to wail away with right hands on Kumiho. Bianca gets right into Avantasia’s path, looking up at her and talking shit to the powerhouse as Bom stares down at her.

Lyn: Bianca Reed don’t give no damn if you’re taller than her, shorter, stronger, faster. She will talk her ish, then beat your ish.

Zack: There is no fear in the body of Bianca Reed! Big or tall, wide or small, Bianca Reed will get in your face and let you know where you stand!

Reed reached up and slapped her in the face to the surprise of the crowd. Bom’s face grew thunderous until Bianca left her feet, and headbutted her right in the face. Reed immediately began letting the fists fly at a rapid pace, backing Bom up as well into the ropes. She shouted over to Andi before they sent both across for the ride. As Kumiho and Bom rebounded, Reed jumped into Andi’s arms who threw at her both of them. They caught her with ease, but gave Andi time to head up top and come off with a high cross body block that took them both down as they held Bianca! Reed and Takata popped back to her feet to a pop from the crowd.

Lyn: This is their first time teaming up and yet the Sato Experience are getting it from jump off by Lucky Star and Killer B!

As Kumiho got back to her feet, Andi and Bianca joined hands and used a double clothesline to send her over the top rope to the floor. When they glanced back to see Avantasia coming, they both ducked down to use a back body drop to send her up and over to the floor too. The Tampa crowd was electric now as the girls started to get up on the floor, only for Andi and Bianca to hit the far side and fly over the middle rope at the same time with matching Superman punches to floor both women. Andi and Reed rolled back inside before Bianca sat on the middle rope, checking her nails with a grin.

Zack: Ji-Hu and Bom haven’t gotten out of the blocks yet, but Bianca Reed and Andi Takata are proving to be one hell of a team!

Lyn: No one was sure what to expect, most of all the Experience and they aren’t sure what to do!

Ji-Hu got to her feet just as Andi darted up to the top rope nearest her. Kumiho backed up, and bumped into the barrel, which caused her to immediately turn around to check as Andi delivered a missile dropkick that sent her into it. The barrel didn’t tip over, just continued to shake before Takata pulled Kumiho up and rolled her back inside the ring. She quickly joined her as Bianca and Avantasia went to their corners.

Lyn: Finally we’ve gotten a bit of order here, and Takata and Ji-Hu will be the legal wrestlers for their teams.

Zack: I’m glad that barrel didn’t tip over, Lyn. I don’t want to see what’s in that thing. But yes, we have legal teammates now!

Kumiho began to rise, only for Andi to jerk her back to her feet and fire her into her team’s corner. She struck back first as Andi connected with a handspring back elbow to the jaw. She hammered right hands into her head before she walked off with the referee warning her about right hands, while Bianca wrapped the tag rope around Ji-Hu’s neck and pelted her with a few more rights before the referee turned back to see Reed merely holding the tag rope. Kumiho stumbled out of the corner as Andi planted her with a springboard bulldog.

Lyn: The Space Princess comes from the skies, literally! Down Ji-Hu goes.

Zack: My goodness, these two should have entered the Future Shock Tag Title tournament! This is uncanny!

Andi made the tag to Bianca, who stepped in with her. They both licked their fingertips, and then a chop fest began as Andi fired one across Ji-Hu’s chest. Bianca followed suit as the two took turns for several chops until Myeong dropped to her knees. Andi left the ring, as Bianca rebounded off the near side for a double leg drop across Myeong’s back to drive her face down onto the mat again. Reed made the tag back to Andi before pulling Ji-Hu’s legs apart. Andi headed up to the top rope and faced the crowd...before using a trust fall backwards to drive her head into the very lowest regions of Kumiho before Bianca rolled out.

Zack: I’ve never seen that before! Usually with a trust fall, there’s someone to catch you! But the only thing that caught Takata…..was not meant for that!

Lyn: Unique offense for a unique team, Zack. If Max was hoping to celebrate with Kumiho tonight... Which likely wasn’t going to happen... It especially won’t tonight.

Ji-Hu curled up into a ball in pain as Andi measured a fist drop right to her head, and then applied a seated side headlock. Takata grinded her arms against Ji-Hu’s head as Bianca got the crowd chanting louder. Kumiho started back to her feet finally with Andi still grinding that headlock in. Myeong tried to shoot her off, but Takata merely held on and didn’t go far. Meanwhile on the floor, Max was still staring at the barrel on the other side of the ring and cautiously took a step closer to it….as though he were trying to sneak up on it.

Zack: Andi’s getting a second wind after all that offense, and is giving Ji-Hu cauliflower ears in days to come with this side headlock.

Lyn: I respect Sato trying to get rid of the most dangerous part of Space Roach: Coast to Coast. The most dangerous inanimate part that is.

Since that didn’t work, Ji-Hu fired a pair of kidney punches into Andi’s back. That loosened her grip before she shot Andi into the Experience corner. Takata managed to hop onto the middle turnbuckle and was about to come off when Bom slugged her with a right cross to drop to the canvas. Ji-Hu took a moment to collect herself, finally rising to her feet before she made a beeline for Andi, who was starting to sit up. She delivered a knee trembler into the side of her head, sending her to lean against the bottom turnbuckle. Ji-Hu hopped up onto the middle rope with a double stomp to Andi’s chest, which snapped her body to the mat.  She quickly scooped her up, and executed a gutbuster before tagging in Bom.

Zack: All it took, Lyn, was that one right hand from Bom! And Andi went down like a sack of bricks. I’m not sure that woman knows how strong she is.

Lyn: And now here comes the heavy hitter. Unfortunately for Andi? There’s more where that came from.

Bom stepped through, and pulled Andi back to her feet. She pressed her back against the corner, and brought a massive slap down across her chest. Takata shouted on impact before Bom raised her hand again to strike it over Andi’s heart. She finally scooped her up high overhead into a military press and then launched her to the mat with a slam. Avantasia moved closer to her, staring down at her….and then nailing Bianca off the apron with a clothesline. Reed smacked the floor, and was about to come back in before the referee stopped her. Bom, meanwhile, applied a straight one handed choke around Andi’s neck with her hand nearly covering Andi’s neck in the process. Keanan tried to restrain Bianca, and finally got her back to the corner before Bom let go.

Zack: Bom’s been learning some distraction tactics apparently, and she’s had a baseball glove around Andi’s throat practically while the referee tried to get Bianca out.

Lyn: That is going to be something to watch out for in the finals. I guarantee it.

Bom planted Andi’s head between her legs, and then delivered a running turnbuckle powerbomb that spiked Andi off the corner before she collapsed in a heap to the canvas. Avantasia planted a hand to her chest for the cover, awaiting Keanan to count.

Zack: A devastating buckle bomb, and Andi could be unconscious after that!

ONE!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEE-NOPE!!

Andi’s shoulder just popped up in time as Avantasia reached up for the tag. JI-Hu returned into the ring, directing traffic as Avantasia planted Andi’s head for another powerbomb….but this time onto Ji-Hu’s knees as she laid on the mat.

Lyn: Powerbomb-Double Knee Backbreaker combination and the Space Princess’s face is a mask of agony!

Myeong got back to her feet, and headed for the corner. She hopped to the top rope, measured a moment and delivered a Thai stomp off the top rope to Andi’s chest. She rolled the Space Princess over, and then applied a camel clutch with her hands locked under Andi’s chin. Keanan moved into position to check for the submission, though Andi was clearly spent. Bianca began pounding the top turnbuckle, trying to get the crowd behind Andi. Meanwhile, Max dropped to all fours and began to crawl towards the corner and peek around it at the barrel sitting behind the next corner.

Lyn: Andi needs so badly to make the tag, but she’s caught in the submis-- Zack. What... What is he doing man? Just... Why is he? That’s my question of the night. Why is Max Sato?

Zack: I think he’s trying to sneak up….on the barrel. I’ve said it before. I don’t want to see what’s in there.

Ji-Hu pulled back with all her might, trying to get as much out of the submission as she could. Keanan checked again, still getting another weak no from Andi until Ji-Hu released it. She rose back to her feet, and drove a big stomp into her back. She then grabbed her arms and applied a surfboard submission as she pulled back. Keanan moved right into position again, looking for the submission once more. But the mask of pain on Andi’s face continued to give a negative response.

Zack: Andi’s showing that resilient spirit she’s had her whole career, but the Unity Champion’s back must feel like it’s a pretzel right now! Ji-Hu has been laser focused here. I don’t know how much longer she can--

Before Zack could finish his thought, Bianca darted into the ring with a standing sidekick to the side of Ji-Hu’s head to knock her to the mat. Reed rolled back out to the outside, and leaned over the top rope as she called for Andi to make the tag. Takata glanced up, looking for her partner and began to make her way there to the delight of the crowd. On the floor, Max had rounded the corner, staring ahead at the barrel as he crawled forward about a foot, never taking his eyes off the slightly shaking barrel.

Lyn: Savate Kick from Reed and Takata is looking to get Killer B in here!

Andi dragged herself towards the corner inch by inch before she managed to lunge forward, and make the tag. The crowd came to life as Reed headed up to the top rope. And when Kumiho rose to her feet and turned to get Andi, she was met with a flying clothesline that mowed her right now. With the crowd on their feet, she doubled back for the corner and immediately sprang to the top rope. As Ji-Hu started to rise, Reed came off again this time with a blockbuster before making the cover to the roar of the crowd!

Zack: What a blockbuster!! Reed’s gonna take it right here!!!

ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

THRE-NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Myeong’s shoulder came up before the three struck. Bianca wasted little time as she got back to her feet, measuring a leaping elbow drop to her chest and back up again. Reed took off towards the ropes, using for a springboard into another elbow drop. She nipped back up to her feet, and caught Avantasia with a standing dropkick to the chest that sent her off the apron before turning back and waving Ji-Hu to get up.

Lyn: Reed is running the damn table here, springboarding and dropping on Ji-Hu and then...! Knocks off Bom, back to Kumiho!

As Kumiho started to rise, Bianca darted for the corner again and this time jumped to the top rope. She spun around, and connected with a shiranui that planted Myeong before grabbing both legs into a rollup! Keanan was right in position.

Zack: Beautiful! Reed is on a hell of a roll, and is about to put the Experience away!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NO!!

She was jerked off the cover by a hair mare from Avantasia, who was back in the ring illegally and looking more than a little annoyed now. On the outside, Max had made it to the barrel and poked it with his finger a couple times.

Lyn: That man is STILL trying to figure out what’s in the barrel. It’s like a David Fincher movie wit him.

Bom cracked her knuckles as she looked down to the fallen Bianca...at least until she heard her name shouted. She turned around right into a superkick from Andi! The crowd came back to its feet in a roar as a second superkick landed right on the jaw...with Bianca catching the powerhouse with one of her own. Kumiho started to rise, and got one from Andi that sent her back into the ropes and stumbling forward into another from Bianca! The crowd roared as the two executed dual superkicks that sent Avantasia over the top rope to the floor. On the other side of the ring, Max was now on his feet and trying to get his fingers around the lid.

Zack: You don’t need an invite to get into this SUPERKICK PARTY in Tampa! Down goes Ji-Hu! And Andi’s got her second wind now!

Lyn: Superkicks for everyone involved! Bom is down on the ground and Ji-Hu finds herself all alone here!

Andi took off for the far side, and then sailed over the top rope with a tope onto Avantasia as she was getting up! But Bom caught her out of midair into a bearhug, and began shaking her like a rag doll. On the other side of the ring, Max finally began to pull the lid off the barrel at ringside.

Zack: My God...BOM JUST SNATCHED HER OUT OF THE AIR INTO A BEARHUG!! And Max has that barrel open….we’re gonna get shut down by the health inspector if what I think is in there is!

Lyn: We’ll never be allowed in the Amalie Arena again....

Ji-Hu started to rise in the ring as Bianca headed for the top rope. She shouted at Myeong to get up. And when she did, Reed flew off the top rope with her diving corkscrew stunner that erupted the crowd! Bom finished shaking Andi, and tossed her to the floor in a heap before she headed back into the ring with Keanan intercepting her while Bianca had the cover!

Zack: CRACKER JACKER!! BIANCA’S GOT THIS RIGHT NOW!!!

Lyn: There’s the pin!

Max popped the lid up on the barrel, and tossed it to the floor. He looked down into the dark barrel before a beam of light blinded him. He covered his eyes and almost lost his balance before 4 Loko Ayano popped up to her feet from inside, a cup in one hand and a LED flashlight in the other. The crowd roared at the sight of the ninja before she tossed the contents of the cup onto Max as a dozen cockroaches began crawling all over him. Sato shrieked like a baby and took off at top speed towards the back with 4 Loko right behind him!

Lyn: 4 LOKO WAS IN THE BARREL AND HAD A CUP OF ROACHES WAITING! SATO’S BEEN NEUTRALIZED THIS ENTIRE MATCH! FIRST THE  BARREL AND NOW THIS!

As that went on, Bom delivered a massive leg drop across the back of Bianca’s head as she was going for the cover.  She jerks her to her feet, plants her head, hooks one leg, and delivers her modified piledriver!

Zack: PowerBOM!!!

She dragged Ji-Hu across Bianca for the cover as the referee tried to get her out of the ring. She finally left as Keanan went to count!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

Keanan called for the bell to a chorus of boos as the powerhouse came back into the ring, and helped Ji-Hu to her feet. The referee raised both their hands as Bom looked around for Max, asking the referee where her senpai was.

Lyn: ...They beat this unstoppable team, Zack. The Max Sato Experience have more momentum than ever.

Hannah: Here are your winners………………...THE MAX SATO EXPERIENCE!!!

Bom headed out of the ring, more concerned with finding Max as Ji-Hu raised her hand and then rolled out of the ring more out of control to how exhausted she was. Andi made it back inside, checking on her partner.

Zack: The Experience pick up a major win tonight, and if nothing else, it’s been proven they can do it without Max Sato! And Avantasia’s worried about him.

Lyn: I guess someone has to be.

Avantasia heads up the ramp calling out Max’s name as Ji-Hu is propped up against the barricade trying to get her bearings. That is the last image before we cut to a video package for the main event.

Cracking the Code

We come back ringside where the Amalie Arena goes black. Once again the code that’s been popping up on Future Shock programming appears, this time on the video wall.

Zack: We’ve been seeing these codes for several weeks now….and I know who asks that question!

Lyn: There is only one...

The code continues after the words are shifted to create an actual, readable phrase and then. Nothing. The video wall goes black along with how the arena has been. There’s silence for a few moments longer... And then...

“CCCHHHAARRIISSSSMMMAAAA!!
DO YOU KNOW MY NAME!?”

Up near the top of the ramp a fine smoke begins to pour out from both sides. Music notes of green and purple begin to appear on the ground of the ramp towards the ring. The video wall begins to show off the visual vibrations of the guitar riff in green and purple as the singing begins. Code reappears on the video wall, shifting intermittently between actual words and back to code. Off and on and off and on again as W.A.S.P.’s “Charisma” strikes wicked chords again on top of the beastly thrum of the drums.

“I've a breath in minds of men with the lies I breathe!
No man's ever ruled the world not knowing the curse of me!
I'm some of the seven sins, vanity in the lust of men!
I'm the Alpha-Omega man, I'll show you who I am!
Ohhhhhh, hypnotic charm, mesmerizing face, my soul has a dark embrace!
A magic tongue, I'll seduce you all ‘till I'm your king, ‘till ya know my...!”

Pyros of green flare out from the top of the ramp through the smoke... Followed by purple, and then a third set of both of them. The video wall flashes bright white to show off the muscular silhouette of a female wrestler posing at the top. She bounces up and down a few times before throwing up the devil horns just in time for the chorus to hit.

“CCHHHHAARRRIIIZZZMMMMAAAAAAAAAA!!! DO YOU KNOW MY NAME!?
I’M THE GOD THAT YOU PRAISE, WHEN YOU WORSHIP MY NAME!
CCHHHHAARRRIIIZZZMMMMAAAAAAAAAA!!! ARE YOU IDOLIZING ME!?
I’M A DANGEROUS THING, AND YOUR NEW MESSIAH’S ME!”

Zack: That confirms it! Future Shock’s about to inherit it’s own Rock of Ages! Lyn, t his has to be very special for you!

Lyn: Extremely, but I always would love to have been a fly on the wall of how that signing between her and Adam took place!

“The Six String Sinner” Lydia Charisma begins walking down the ramp, stepping through the mist as “Charisma” continues to play over the speaker system as the Tampa Bay crowd gives her a warm welcome. Lydia is wearing an ‘Oozing With Charisma’ tee over her wrestling gear she’s been viewed in again and again in her career. She stops a few steps before holding a finger up as though to give her a second. She takes a firm grip of the collar of her shirt before she begins to tear it down in half across her front... But instead takes it off to show a ‘Property of Future Shock’ shirt underneath! She balls up her shirt and tosses it to the crowd.

“I'm a liar blinding your vision, vatican man!
Preachin' fear and using religion, with the Bible and Koran!
I wrap myself in the American flag, and tell people I'm for which it stands,
I'm comin' back till you know I'm God, ‘till you believe, till you know my...!

CCHHHHAARRRIIIZZZMMMMAAAAAAAAAA!!! DO YOU KNOW MY NAME!?
I’M THE GOD THAT YOU PRAISE, WHEN YOU WORSHIP MY NAME!
CCHHHHAARRRIIIZZZMMMMAAAAAAAAAA!!! ARE YOU IDOLIZING ME!?
I’M A DANGEROUS THING, AND YOUR NEW MESSIAH’S ME!”

Charisma slides into the ring, walking a few steps up the turnbuckle before showing off the guns. She makes sure to kiss a bicep as she hops down from the corner and then poses, dropping to her knees and bending back slightly while reaching one muscular arm up, flexing the other. After a bit more horsing around she stands up with a grin...

Until she’s interrupted.

If you're having girl problems I feel bad for you son
I got ninety nine problems but a bitch ain't one

The cheers were quickly replaced with boos as Kyle Kilmeade stepped out onto the ramp for the second time tonight. Still in a suit, he listens to the crowd and heads towards the ring.

Zack: Well I’m positive Kilmeade has nothing to do with Lydia Charisma. I thought we saw enough of him in Valerie McKinley’s match earlier.

Lyn: Apparently we get a double helping. I don’t imagine Kyle would ever want to manage Lydia, or vice versa on being managed by. Well. Stranger things have happened.

Kyle is offered a microphone from Hannah before he ascends the steps, and makes a cutting motion for his music to stop. A long look at Lydia follows before he steps inside the ring.

Kyle: Listen, I come in peace. Don’t get the wrong idea. I’ve been as curious as anyone watching these little codes every show, and I should have guessed it was you. Well played. Welcome to Future Shock.

Amid the chorus of boos, he extends a handshake towards the Six String Sinner. Charisma looks down at his hand and hesitates. Seemingly against her better judgment she reaches forward and very warily shakes his hand, her eyes on him the entire time. All that she gets is a handshake before he rubs his chin.

Kyle: Like I said, I come in peace. It’s a big night for you, you just arrived here in Future Shock. It’s a good night for me. My newest client won her match earlier tonight, I’m sure you saw Valerie McKinley earlier defeat a 2 time Future Shock Champion? So I’m in a good mood too. But...there is someone here….who isn’t happy.

Lydia quietly mouths, ‘I knew it. I knew there was a catch’ and visibly throws her arms up. She motions for the microphone from Kyle and takes it once he hands it over.

Lydia: Always a catch with you. Here I am, “The Six String Sinner”, “The Rawk of Ages”, Lydia Cccchhhhaaarrrriiissssmmmmaaaaa...!

Crowd: DO YOU KNOW MY NAME!?

Charisma smiles fondly as she eyes the manager a bit contemptuously.

Lydia: And you wanna rain on my parade. Well okay Kyle. I’ll bite. I’ll bite. Who isn’t happy huh? Come on, out with it. Who is in a bad moo--

As Lydia is speaking, a redhead seems to emerge from under the ring onto the floor as the camera catches her behind Lydia. The live crowd gets very loud, mainly trying to warn Lydia as Lacey is seen staring a hole in the back of her head.

Lyn: WHO IS-- IS THAT LACEY!?

Kyle was about to speak as the camera zoomed in on Lacey’s hand, where she had a cat o’nine tails in her hand with little tacks stuck in it. And as the manager was about to speak, Lacey struck it across Lydia’s back, immediately leaving red dots on her back before she immediately applying a guillotine choke. The redhead shouted again and again “This was MY NIGHT!”as Kyle propped up against the ropes to watch.

Zack: We saw Lacey arrive earlier tonight, and apparently she took offense to Lydia showing up the same night! Now she’s gonna choke her out, look at that weapon she brought!

Kyle scooped up the microphone, and leaned down as Lacey kept the choke well applied as she glared daggers up at Lydia.

Kyle: Lacey doesn’t respond well to people trying to upstage her.

Lacey rocked back and forth until Lydia stopped responding before she finally let go, and was helped to her feet by her manager.

Lyn: We’d been debating the entire time up who were the two people showing up to Future Shock and now we know. Lacey has strangled Charisma unconscious!

Lacey scooped up her cat o’nine tails, flicking it at her side before giving one last lash across Lydia’s back, little drops of blood forming as the live crowd was deafening in their dislike. Lacey gave her manager a smile as he looked down to Lydia, then told Lacey that was gonna need some Bactine.

Zack: Lacey popped up like a weed on the other side of the ring, and has choked Lydia Charisma out in her debut night in Future Shock!

Trainers headed towards the ring to check on Lydia as Kyle opened the ropes for Lacey to step out before he followed her.

Zack: First Valerie….now Lacey. I’ve had enough of Kilmeade and his new clients tonight!

Lyn: ...Bet you anything, so has Adam.

As the medics help Lydia, we cut to a commercial for the next Future Shock event, Resistance.

Title: Re: FFW Future Shock Wipeout - August 19, 2017
Post by: Adam Grant on August 19, 2017, 10:50:00 pm
(http://i.imgur.com/hv34bNd.png)

We head right back to the ring with what looks to be an even more excited Hannah waiting with her microphone.

Hannah: This next match is your main event, and it is for the FFW Future Shock Championship!!

Zack: It’s been almost 2 years since Season 19, but we’re revisiting it all again tonight with this main event between two women who, flat out, despise one another with Future Shock’s top prize awaiting the winner!

Lyn: I asked Mallory Bennett, the third of the Season 19ers, if she wanted to be sitting up close to watch. She said she’ll just wait for when their next triple threat gets announced and watch in back in the meantime.

A weather warning siren goes off, and smoke starts filling up the top of the ramp. The big screen shows a massive cloud coming down to land, forming a cone that, those who live in tornado areas will identify, can only mean bad times coming. But this smoke atop the ramp, it's not coming peacefully: it's invading the top stage really quick, with the help of a ramping gust of air that starts getting a bit violent. With the whole center stage taken by smoke, the gust coming from the main entrance is aggressive enough to lift a smaller person off the ground, as "Skylines" by D.i.N Beats hits the PA. But when the smoke dissipates, standing strong with her back turned to the violent wind is the Typhoon herself, Bianca Salvador, in her teal, black and white attire, arms out and hair flying into her face, as the crowd boos her violently.

Hannah: Introducing first, from Porto Alegre, Brazil... The "Typhoon"... BIANCA SALVADOR!

Step by step, Bianca treks down the entrance ramp ignoring the booing fans, eventually getting out of the wind zone so she can adjust her hair right before rolling into the ring. Once there, she climbs a turnbuckle and just stares at the booing audience, shaking her head at their negative reception before jumping back down to the mat and finally smiling upon meeting her opponent for the night.

Zack: It wasn’t that long ago that the “Typhoon” was packing all sorts of gold, and believe me when I tell you she wants that feeling again!

Lyn: Hate her as much as you want, she has proven to be one of the most capable wrestlers we’ve ever seen and all that gold she held proves it.

The lights begin to swirl around the arena while “Still Speedin” by Sway begins to play over the PA system. Gradually, Anna Giovanna emerges through the curtains, the hood in her boxing robe covering her face as she makes her way to the entrance ramp, throwing a few combinations and strikes before slowly raising her hands up in the air while looking up at the sky, smoke jets on both sides of the ramp emerging up alongside her as the crowd applauds and cheers in approval.

Hannah: And her opponent …from San Diego, California via Naples, Italy…and weighing in tonight at one hundred and fifty-five pounds…she is the reigning and defending FFW Future Shock CHAMPION…that YOUNG KNOCKOUT KID…ANNAAAAAAAAAAA…GIOVANNAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After soaking in the crowd reaction for a moment, she bites down on her mouth guard, showcasing it to the camera with a confident nod before she begins to walk down the entrance ramp, nodding to the beat of the music and getting herself in rhythm before she breaks on a run down the ramp and jumps right into the first turnbuckle, climbing up to the top rope with remarkable agility as she plays to the crowd by bringing her right arm up, indicating she’s going in with the intent of knocking people out tonight before as she undoes part of the rope, pointing to the championship around her waist as we reach the chorus, the crowd screaming it outloud:

"Ooooh oh, ooooh oh!
Ooooh oh, ooooh oh!
I got the people screaming
Ooooh oh, ooooh oh!
Ooooh oh, ooooh oh!
(Still speedin')"

Anna brings down the hood of her robe and does a backflip off the top rope, landing on her feet near the center of the ring and nodding as she flashes the camera a grin showing off her mouth guard which reads IS THIS BITCH 4 REAL?, unstrapping her championship and holding it up high in the air to the roar of the crowd before she hands the title to the referee, gets rid of her robe and prepares for her match-up. A very exuberant Hannah can’t help but to give her a hug before she steps out of the ring.

Zack: It’s safe to say that An-

Hannah: WHUP THAT ASS!

Zack: Hannah providing a little added color commentary tonight, but you can tell Anna is more than ready to get going. She lives for these kinds of matches, Lyn.

Lyn: Big money matches, Zack. When she’s got the glitz and glam and spotlight on her match, she throws down.

Senior referee Jennifer Stringer raises the Future Shock title over her head before handing it off to the exiting Hannah. She checks both women, and calls for the bell. Anna and Bianca immediately meet in the center of the ring, and are already talking trash to each other. The commentary gets much more heated as the pair are forehead to forehead with the Tampa crowd on their feet. Anna shoved Bianca backwards, causing the “Typhoon” to retaliate with a slap to the face. Anna looked away for a moment, and used a double leg takedown as both women began firing fists at one another on the mat.

Lyn: Let the eternal loathing continue as they pummel each other!

Zack: They’re picking up right where it left off, and it’s a pier six brawl already to start this championship match!

They traded mounts as they rolled around on the mat before Bianca managed to flip Anna off of her. Both of them got to their feet at about the same time, and started trading fists all over again, only standing now. Giovanna was getting the better of that with combinations to the body followed by an uppercut that sent Bianca backwards a step. Anna fired her across to the corner, and charged in with an elbow smash to the mouth. She quickly grabbed the top rope with both hands and began to fire relentless kicks into Bianca’s body. Shot after shot before Bianca fell to a seat against the corner, only for Anna to give her a double bird flip followed by a facewash across her jaw.

Zack: Look at those kicks! Rapid fire with nothing but venom behind them as --OH MY! - the Future Shock Champion is fired up and letting Bianca know she’s number one with her!

Lyn: Salt Bae borrowing a bit from Mallory and it looks like those boots were made for stomping!

Giovanna walked out of the corner for a moment before shouting into the crowd, and then running back with a knee to Bianca’s head as she leaned on her seat in the corner. Giovanna backed up to the next corner, measuring and connecting again with another knee to the head before she dragged Bianca out of the corner by her feet. With the crowd solidly behind her, she delivered a double leg drop between Bianca’s legs before rolling back to her feet. Salvador suffered momentarily before trying to get to the ropes to get away from Anna. The “Typhoon” made it, and started to pull herself up with the help of the top rope. Anna bolted towards her to deliver her right cross, but Bianca yanked the rope down and it snapped around Anna’s arm. Giovanna yelped in pain as the ropes were tied around her arm, only for Bianca to immediately seize on the opportunity by shaking the tied ropes. Stringer finally pulled Salvador back, and untied the ropes, allowing Anna to drop to the floor clutching her arm. Bianca pulled herself together, and a bit of a smile began to form on her face before she rolled out to the floor after the champion.

Zack: I’m not sure if that was intentional or coincidental with the ropes there, but Bianca may have just found her opening and stopped Anna’s relentless offense.

Lyn: Maybe in stealing Takata’s mask she has taken some of her luck too.

With Anna clutching her arm on her knees on the floor, Bianca fired a stiff kick into her shoulder before yanking her up by that arm. She moved around the corner, and then jerked Anna shoulder first into the post. It dropped the champion back to her knees again, allowing Bianca a chance to pull her up by the hair and taunt her about her hurt arm. She pinned it behind her, and slammed her with a hammerlock slam to the floor. With the referee demanding she get the match back in the ring, Bianca held up her hands and rolled back inside….and right back out to break the count.

Lyn: Salvador breaking the count so she can keep working on that arm. Tactical. A bit on the nose for scumminess but tactical.

Zack: Bianca’s not seen the shortcut she won’t take, and when she senses a weakness, she’s like a shark.

Bianca scooped the champion up as though she were going for an atomic drop, but instead rammed her body into the post. Giovanna crumpled to the floor as Bianca pushed at her head with her foot, as if shoving her away. The champion tried to rise, only for Bianca to scoop her up for a shoulder breaker across her knee before letting her drop back to the floor.

Zack: Bianca is taking every bit of this count, and she’s got Anna---INCOMING!!

Salvador scooped Anna up, and threw her across the announce table as Lyn and Zack darted in opposite directions. Giovanna crashed against the chairs and fell to the floor behind the desk before Bianca stepped up onto the table, making sad faces at the angry crowd watching her.

Lyn: Well, we nearly got pulled into the match. As Anna recovers, Salvador practices making faces. Didn’t your mom ever tell you it could get stuck that way, Bianca?

Anna tried to pull herself up, soon helped by Bianca as she jerked her up onto the table. Salvador planted her head between her legs, and wrapped her arms around her waist into a piledriver position. The crowd was adamant about her not doing it as she went to lift her before the referee stepped out onto the floor and shouted at Bianca.

Zack: Stringer just told Bianca if she hits that piledriver on our table, she’ll disqualify her! That’s how she gave Mallory Bennett a concussion well over a year ago!

Lyn: I sincerely believe if Bianca could put Anna and Mallory on the shelf and be the sole heir of Season 19, she will.

The moment of distraction gave Anna an opening as she shoved Bianca backwards, who stumbled off the table and landed on her feet on the floor. Giovanna launched towards her and delivered a tornado DDT to the floor that brought the fans to their feet! The champion sat up against the barricade with a seething expression on her face as she clutched the arm Bianca had been working on earlier. Stringer told her to get it back into the ring now as Anna pulled Bianca towards the apron. And with strain evident on her face, she rolled a lifeless Bianca back under the bottom rope and rolled in after her. She then went for the cover before the referee dropped to make the count.

Zack: Bianca’s colder than a mackerel after that tornado DDT off our table! Anna’s gonna retain right here!!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NOPE!!

Bianca got her shoulder up prior to the three, and Anna rolled off. The champion headed towards the ropes with that same angry expression on her face as she turned over her elbow pad to reveal a gold underside.

Lyn: One Vanessa Cade-style elbow... COMING UP!

The challenger was exceptionally slow to get up, but finally began to stir a bit. Bianca rose to her feet as Anna waved her to turn around. As soon as Salvador did, Anna launched towards her at top speed looking for the roaring elbow. But Bianca ducked underneath it, causing Anna to stop herself from hitting the ropes. The challenger caught her as she spun around with a Pele kick to the top of her head. Giovanna staggered backwards into the ropes, and right into the waiting clutches of Bianca, who dropped her with an ace crusher! Both women lay on the mat, Anna face down and Bianca on her back. The “Typhoon” shoved Anna onto her back, and dropped an across her chest for the cover.

Lyn: SPACE CRUSHER! Using one enemy’s attack on another.

ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NO!!

Anna’s shoulder came up in time, and Bianca pushed up to her hands and knees for a moment. She clutched the top of her head in pain before she finally made it to her feet. The challenger bounced off the near side for a guillotine leg drop to the back of Anna’s head.

Zack: Bianca’s head has to be killing her still after that impact a little bit earlier. But it just shows you how much they want to be Future Shock Champion.

Bianca was back to her feet only a few seconds before Anna was, and circled around behind her to apply a full nelson. She managed to lock her fingers, and start shaking Anna like a leaf in the hold. Stringer dropped down in front of the champion, looking to see if she wanted to quit. But Anna shouted a defiant “NO” to that. Salvador tried to increase the pressure, and lean into the hold a bit too. The referee checked again before Anna was close enough to the ropes to walk up them with her feet, and push off to land on top of Bianca! Stringer nearly started counting before the challenger broke the hold, and shoved her off the cover.

Zack: That’s ring generalship right there! Anna using those ropes like a step ladder, and Bianca was that close to pinning herself as a result!

Lyn: Her anger would have been terrible to behold, knowing she nearly pinned herself and essentially got outwrestled.

Salvador didn’t take very well to it either as she started clubbing the back of Anna’s head with forearms. She got back to her feet, pinned her arm behind her, and looked for a backs uplex. But Giovanna landed on her feet behind her. And when Salvador spun around, Anna delivered the roaring elbow right to her mouth and dropped her in her tracks! She collapsed on top of her for the cover as Stringer went to count.

Zack: There it is, the GOLDEN ELBOW!! Salvador’s out cold!!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NO!!

Bianca managed to get her foot across the bottom rope, prompting the referee to stop counting. Anna looked up at it with a shake of her head. She then pushed up to her feet, and used a springboard moonsault to the downed “Typhoon” before rolling off and clutching her arm again.

Lyn: Very crisp moonsault from Anna but her arm is still killing her!

The champion made it back to her feet as Bianca was starting to do the same. She whipped her across into the far corner, only for Bianca to stop herself and eat a second Golden Elbow across the jaw that sent her into the turnbuckle. Anna snapped her arms around her waist for what looked like a German suplex, but her arm gave out on her and she dropped Bianca to her feet and collapsed to her knees. Salvador slumped against the corner, more than a little dazed before she finally turned around and executed a shining wizard. Anna collapsed face down on the mat. Bianca dropped down to cover her before the referee joined them.

Lyn: Giovanna just took one straight to the head. Her arm has gotta be done, Zack.

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Except Anna’s shoulder came up just before the three. Bianca glared at the referee for a moment, and then down to Anna as she muttered something in another language. Salvador rose back to her feet, and dragged her thumb across her neck.

Zack: I think Bianca’s ready to put this match to bed, and leave Tampa with the Future Shock Championship!

She pulled Anna to her feet, and into a double pumphandle position. She told the champion it was about to be over as she hoisted her up!

Lyn: She’s looking for it! You know what comes next!

But as soon as she got her up, Anna landed on her feet behind her. She caught Bianca with a rolling elbow to the back of her head, into a top wristlock and then a short right elbow to the jaw! Bianca collapsed to the mat, and Anna dropped to cover her!

Zack: GOLDEN REQUIEM!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

Anna rolled off the cover, clutching her arm to her body when she heard the bell ring. She started back to her feet, and then had her good arm raised by the referee.

Lyn: FROM OUT OF NOWHERE!!

Hannah: YAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSS!!! I mean…..Your winner of this match…..AND STIIIIIIIIIIIILLLLLLLL FFW Future Shock Champion……………….ANNA GIOVANNAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!

Zack: Anna’s done it again! With a bad arm no less, she sucked it up and do what champions do: she found a way to win!

Anna was handed her title as Hannah applauded with great enthusiasm on the floor. Giovanna looked down to her title, and raised it above her head to the roar of the crowd.

Lyn: Saltbae stands here tonight victorious and Bianca... We’ll need some smelling salts.

The same determined expression remained in place as she threw the title over her shoulder, and pulled out her mouthguard to toss into the crowd. The Tampa crowd began a very loud chant in her name soon thereafter.

Zack: Anna Giovanna is still the ACE of Future Shock, and she’s also still the Future Shock Champion! Thank you for joining us here in Tampa! And congratulations, Anna!!

As Anna rolled to the floor and thrust the Future Shock Championship aloft to the roar of the crowd, Wipeout faded off the air.
