Live from the Future Shock Arena in Boston, Massachusetts
July 3, 2018

A stick of dynamite is plunged into a stone wall with a fissure. The fuse burns down to the end before the wall blows apart. Covering her face from the blast is Mara Werth dressed in what looks like a tomb raider outfit. “Bringing Down the Giant” by Saving Abel begins to play. She heads inside the opening in the wall, shining a flashlight on one wall showing the FFW logo and then the Future Shock logo. As she moves ahead, she comes across a platform overlooking a pit. Upon looking inside, she sees Lacey surrounded by dead flowers blowing red mist towards her.

Oh. I hit the wall I got back up and dusted off.
I’m past the pain and I’m taking back all that I lost,
I’m going to kick you off the throne hang your crown up on the wall

We then cut to quick takes showing Lydia Charisma delivering her Ocean’s Eleven finisher. Celeste is then shown hitting her Heaven’s Cloud ace crusher to a pop from the crowd. Then we see a large bubble being blown before it pops to reveal the smiling face of Nora Harris. Bianca Reed takes off her sunglasses, and throws them into the crowd. Mila is shown with her surfboard dragon sleeper locked in before we cut back to the tomb.

Yeah your glory days are gone gone gone.
Yeah I’m bringing down the giant
I won’t sit here undecided.

Mara extends her arms to both sides, and walks carefully across the platform before she makes it to the other side. She reaches the other side, finding a hall of mirrors as she steps into another entrance. She glances at the various mirrors around her as she walks past them, while Tara Cortez passes her twice in one mirror after Mara moves away. She comes upon two stone statues that look like guardians to a door. She retrieves two gems from her pocket, placing them in the stone hands of the statues before the door starts to move.

When your world comes crashing down I’ll remind you
I’m the one who’s laughing loud in your face
Yeah yeah your karma’s coming back here to find you this is going to get a little violent
Yeah I’m bringing down bringing down the giant.

We cut away from there to see Gemma Pierce and Kaya Crimson staring across at one another. Gillie Barnes thrusts the Future Shock Championship over her head with a smile, and Harley Shannon has the Harley Headlock locked in next. Cassandra Steen is shown counting her money as Kyle stands over her shoulder. “Poison” is shown next as Rose is dressed like Harley Quinn, and slams a giant mallet onto the camera before it cuts back to the tomb.

When your world comes crashing down I’ll remind you
I’m the one who’s laughing loud in your face
Yeah yeah your karma’s coming back here to find you this is going to get a little violent
Yeah I’m bringing down bringing down the giant.

The doors finally open as Mara carefully steps forward, looking around as a row of lights come up all the way to a throne. And there sat on the throne with two lions sat in front of her is Elizabeth Lannister. She points towards Mara as the two lions roar and launch towards the camera before we cut to the live broadcast to see a roaring crowd full of Future Shock fans.

Zack: Boy, is it good to be home! Welcome back to the Future Shock Arena here in Boston! And after two shows that took us from Glasgow to Fiji, Lyn, it’s nice to be back in a familiar setting. Thank you for joining us for the latest edition of Future Shock, where tonight we got a six woman tag team main event on tap! All three members of the Privileged Circle will meet Harley Shannon and the reigning Future Shock Tag Champions, NHB.

Lyn: Talk about a big time clash, Zack. I suspect Shannon has followed NHB’s careers given her deep love of the sport. This is the working class versus the first class with the Privileged!

Zack: There’ll be two in-ring Prospect debuts as well. Mars Whimsey will step foot into a Future Shock ring for the first time as she meets Lilliana Leucrotta. Given her last two outings, I’d say Lilliana needs this victory more than Mara, but it would be a very nice debut for Whimsey if she manages to pull it out.

Lyn: You won’t hear me say this about another Prospect anytime soon but... Yeah, who cares what Leucrotta needs. Fuck her. I wanna see Whimsey win.

Zack: After the events at the pool party, Adam has scheduled a meeting with both Tara Cortez and her manager, Christian Kincaid. I’m curious to hear what’s on Adam’s mind after a reveal that the pair are still not recognizing as what we saw.

Lyn: Denial ain’t just a river in Egypt. I have to hand it to Christian and his client for nothing else than being committed to the lie. Hilariously, our Future Shock champion has decided to do a This Week In Wrestling about twins in wrestling... Apparently she’s going to be offering some future tips from the past on how to deal with... Well. Twinning.

Zack: And we’ll be kicking off the show with the in-ring debut of Cassandra Steen, who is out to prove she can do everything better than her sister. She’ll meet Nora Harris, who will be competing inside the Future Shock Arena for the very first time herself.

Lyn: If I am a betting man Zack, I will put money down that Cassandra’s sister will be rooting for Nora wholeheartedly and getting ready to start passing out Nora merch come a victory. A victory that Cassandra Steen is does not want happening.

Zack: We’ll also be hearing from the “Lioness” Elizabeth Lannister, who has made a habit of ruining Celeste’s chances in both her Aspire Ring match and at the pool party as well. Something tells me this has something to do with Kilmeade.

Lyn: Zack. My friend. My broham. It ALWAYS has something to do with Kilmeade.

Zack: Let’s send it up to---hang on.

Zack’s attention is diverted as we see a brunette in grunge apparel heading down the steps to take a seat in the front row. She puts her cup down, and tilts up the soda of the fan next to her to cause it to pour all down their shirt before she takes a seat with a grin on her face. Security goes towards her, but she flashes her ticket to them.

Zack: She was at the pool party being obnoxious too. That’s Ashley Maldano, Lyn. She doesn’t work here, but you can see she’s still making an ass of herself in the front row.

Lyn: Kinda like a frat boy before the pre-gaming.

Zack: Let’s just send it to the ring for our opening match.

The cameras head to ringside as the “Wildcat” stands in the center of the ring with her microphone in hand as always.

Gaby: The opening contest of Future Shock is scheduled for one fall.

I won’t give up, no I won’t give in
Till I reach the end
And then I’ll start again
No I won't leave
I wanna try everything
I wanna try even though I could fail

Gaby: From Chicago Illinois, weighing in tonight at 103 pounds... she is Nora Harris!

The bouncy music of Shakira's Try Anything plays and out comes Nora, bouncing on the toes of her boots as she waves to the fans and then she cartwheels into the aisle before she sprints down to the ring, slides under the bottom rope and pops up to wave at the fans again.

I won’t give up, no I won’t give in
Till I reach the end
And then I’ll start again
No I won't leave
I wanna try everything
I wanna try even though I could fail

She smiles at the referee and respectfully waits for the start of the match.

Zack: Nora Harris made her Future Shock debut in Glasgow in what turned out to be a brawl against Stacey Sky. I am positive that isn’t over yet, but she’s got a different challenge tonight.

Lyn: A different challenge but a similar face attached to it.

The opening bars of “You Call Me A Bitch Like It’s A Bad Thing” begin to play through the speakers around the arena and the lights on the stage go out leaving it darkness.

You took me to your little crib
Guess it must have been a big deal
Got me starring in your wet dream
Now it's time to get real
I'm not looking for love
No not today
But you call me up and had the nerve to say
See you next Tuesday

A white spotlight hits the centre of stage to see Cassandra Steen standing in the middle of it, wearing blue ring gear accompanied by her manager Kyle Kilmeade. The crowd instantly show their disdain for the pair with a loud chorus of boos. Cassandra does not seem phased at all by this and in fact seems to revel in it. A smirk curling on her lips as she surveys the crowd.

You call me a bitch like it's a bad thing
You call me a freak like that means something
Can't get your way so you're sulking
I think we know the rest
Get it off your chest
I don't give a shit
I love it when you call me a bitch like it's a bad thing

Kyle extends his arm towards Cassandra and she accepts it to allow him to escort her down the ramp to the ring. Neither of them seeming particularly bothered by the less than favourable yells from the crowd.

Gaby: Making her way to the ring, from Leeds, England and accompanied by her manager, Kyle Kilmeade, she is ……………….CASSANDRA STEEN!

You show up everywhere I go
Get a grip you're acting so weird
I don't need your jager bombs
I think I can take it from here
You gotta learn to leave when the party ends
I don't really care what you tell your friends
Tell me again

As they reach the ring, Cassandra climbs the steps and takes a moment to look around at the crowd. Kyle holds the ropes open for her, as she climbs into the ring between the middle and top ropes. Kyle follows and the pair share a few hushed words in the centre of the ring.

You call me a bitch like it's a bad thing
You call me a freak like that means something
Can't get your way so you're angry
I think we know the rest
Get it off your chest
I don't give a shit
I love it when you call me a bitch

Cassandra’s music comes to and end and as it fades out, she makes her way to her corner, leaning back against the turnbuckles and resting one arm on the ropes beside her.

Zack: Why am I not surprised to see Kilmeade out here with Cassandra? Apparently he’s hired top trainers, and had her prepared since January. Let’s see if she’s learned anything from the last time she was in the ring, Lyn.

Lyn: Zack you remember that Star Trek episode where every evil twin has a beard? I’ve figured it out. Missy’s sister Cassandra doesn’t have a beard... She has a bang that goes slightly to the left by three inches. If you look REALLY hard... No seriously like, look at it man...

Referee Jennifer Stringer checks both women quickly as Gaby leaves the ring. She then calls for the bell as the Boston crowd immediately starts chanting for Nora. It brings a grin to her face hearing them, but seems to do the opposite for Cassandra. The pair move to the center as Cassandra begins telling her how the fan support isn’t going to help her. Nora chooses not to pay much attention to it as the pair lock up. Harris tries to push her back, and Cassandra executes a hip toss to send her to the mat. A confident smile forms on her face as Nora gets up, and they tie up again. This time, Nora returns the favor and puts her down with a hip toss. Steen glances around for a moment, clearly not amused with this before she extends her hand for a shake. A very skeptical Nora shakes her head until she gets a kick in the ribs from Cassandra, who then proceeds to send her shoulder first into the nearest corner. As soon as Nora collides with it, Cassandra pulls her out and executes a Russian leg sweep.

Zack: It’s still pretty early to make any major assessments here, but it certainly seems like Cassandra has a rudimentary grasp of technical wrestling so far.

Lyn: Yes. Congratulations Cassandra. It’ll now only take you about six years, eight months and ten days left to catch up to your sister’s level.

A punt in the ribs followed that when Nora tried to get up. She dragged her to her feet, and then shoved her backwards into the ropes. Nora bounced forward, and was scooped up into a backbreaker across Steen’s knee. Kyle applauded his business partner from the floor as she took off for the far side. Cassandra picked up momentum and delivered a leg drop….but Harris wasn’t there when she landed. Nora got back to her feet to the delight of the crowd, and met Cassandra with right hands one after another. Each shot rocked her backwards before she got sent across to the far corner. Cassandra struck hard as Nora followed her in and left her feet for a codebreaker that flipped her out onto the canvas. The crowd got louder as she dove for the cover, and hooked the leg in the process.

Zack: Nora’s looking to catch Cassandra off guard, she may have it here!

ONE!!!

TW-NOPE!!

Steen kicked out as the two came down, and shoved Nora off the cover. The Pixie got to her feet, and took off for the far side as her opponent was getting up. Cassandra didn’t stand on her feet long before a flying headscissors snapped her back to the mat. She transitioned from that into a seated rear chinlock.

Lyn: Nora really knows her transitions. That’s something you can’t teach, you just learn. I HOPE YOU’RE TAKING NOTES STEEN! IF YOU’RE NOT I’LL ASK YOUR MORE COMPETENT SISTER TO EMAIL THEM TO YOU! YOU KNOW THE ONE!  SHE MIGHT ACTUALLY GIVE NORA SOMETHING THAT LOOKS LIKE A FIGHT!

The referee dropped down to check on Cassandra, who looked none too happy at the moment as Nora pulled back on the hold. She pushed up on her feet to try to pull that much more before Cassandra was already starting to get to her feet. Harris kept the hold applied as they both stood, causing the trapped twin to try to shove her off. It didn’t work though, and Cassandra resorted to a kidney punch. That worked much better as it froze up Nora for a second, allowing Steen to get free. She pulled Nora down by the hair into an reverse DDT. Steen sat up on her knee, looking over to Kyle who once again was giving her applause.

Zack: I’ll give Cassandra credit. She’s been able to hold her own pretty well with Nora so far. It looks like those trainers and all that time in the gym paid off so far.

Lyn: Yeahsurewhynotwe’llgowiththat.

Before Nora could get up, her opponent pulled her arms behind her and executed a curb stomp to the back of her head. She took off for the far side this time, and came back with a knee drop into Nora’s head. The Boston crowd was not amused, however, and gave her plenty of static. It caused her to roll her eyes, and allowed Nora to start to get back up again. Cassandra grabbed her head, and executed a swinging neckbreaker to put her down again before going for the cover this time.

Zack: Nora got dropped like a bad habit right there, and Future Shock’s Corporate Killer is looking for the first win of her career!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOO-NOPE!!

Lyn: ...What... What does mean really Zack? Corporate Killer? Does she jab people with pink slips? Anyway our resident Pixie needs to get a big turnaround in a big way.

Nora kicked out right at two, causing Cassandra to get to her feet. She pulled Harris with her, and hung her up in a tree of woe in the corner. The Corporate Killer began putting the boots to her body. The referee counted her down to let Nora out of the corner. But instead of that, Cassandra bolted for the far side and came back with a baseball slide aimed for Nora’s head. But Harris pulled herself up, and Cassandra’s feet hit the ring post instead. It only stunned her briefly, but gave Nora a chance to reset herself. And when Cassandra made it back to her feet. Nora dropped her with a missile dropkick to the chest. Once more, she brought the Boston crowd to life.

Lyn: Harris scores big with that dropkick and now the crowd looks hopeful!

With a smile on her face, she headed back to the corner again. She made it to the top rope until she saw Kyle hop up on the apron and start trying to antagonize her. The referee went to get him down as Nora turned her attention back to the ring, only to find Cassandra shove her feet out from under her. Nora straddled the top turnbuckle in pain as Steen climbed up with her, and snapped off a hurricanrana to bring her back to the mat with a thud. She reached behind her to hook the legs for the cover.

Zack: A little shot to her sister with that hurricanrana, and now Cassandra’s 3 seconds from hitting the showers!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOO!!!

NOPE!!!

Again, Nora managed to kick out. Cassandra climbed back to her feet, clearly annoyed now as she pulled her to her feet. A series of European uppercuts to the head followed that before she fired her into the far corner. Cassandra barreled in behind her, but Nora ran up the corner and hopped behind her. And as soon as Steen turned to face her, she got caught with Nora’s double knee facebreaker!

Zack: Right out of nowhere, there’s the HELLO, PATELLA!

She immediately went for the cover, hooking both legs in the process. But there was no counting, causing her to look around and see that the referee was still trying to get Kyle down off the apron. Harris pounded her fist onto the mat, trying to get her attention before Stringer spun around and dropped to make the count.

Lyn: Hello, Patella... Good night, Cassandra!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

TH-NOPE!!

Steen’s shoulder came up in time, causing Nora to sit up with an irritated look towards Kyle, who was now back standing ringside.

Zack: I think she would have had it right there, Lyn. Cassandra had too much time to recover though, thanks to her business partner.

Nora got back to her feet, and was about to grab Cassandra when she noticed Kyle waving towards the back. And slowly, Stacey Sky began to make her way to the ring. Nora spotted her immediately, which gave Cassandra the chance to surprise her with a cobra clutch. She began dragging her towards the center of the ring as Nora tried to find a way to break the hold. But she wasn’t having much success though as Cassandra tried to step on the back of her knee to get her down to the mat.

Lyn: A cobra clutch also known as a arm-trap half nelson sleeper. Alright Steen... I’ll give you this one but Nora is quickly trying to get an escape on.

Zack: It’s growing quickly clearer that Cassandra has learned quite a few things in her limited time training. And you’re right about Nora, she better do something quickly.

Nora kept herself from going down though, and widened her base before she began trying to move towards the ropes. The crowd was certainly behind her as she reached for the ropes, and tried to move forward. But her movements began to slow and falter as the hold took effect. Her body started to grow lethargic as she stumbled in place. It wasn’t until she grabbed Cassandra’s head, and executed a jawbreaker that sent her staggering backwards that she managed to get free. Harris dropped to her knees to try to collect herself before Kyle hopped up onto the apron again to complain. The referee went to get him down as Stacey rolled into the ring on the other side.

Lyn: Cassandra gets countered but... Christ what’s she doing out here!?

Nora made it back to her feet, only to eat a superkick from Stacey that sent her backwards into the waiting grip of Cassandra. A cobra clutch driver planted Harris before Sky rolled out of the ring, and Cassandra went for a tight cover hooking both legs. The referee spun back around to make the count.

Zack: She calls that the HOSTILE TAKEOVER!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

Steen rolled off the cover, and got back to her feet to a round of boos from the Boston crowd. Kyle and Stacey joined her, each raising a hand before the referee did.

Lyn: Well... It was sincerely hostile.

Gaby: Here’s your winner……………….CASSANDRA STEEN!!

As Kyle applauded his client, Stacey dropped to the mat and locked in a rear naked choke on the fallen Nora. Kyle and his business partner looked down to see it as the referee tried to get her to break it, but Sky refused until Nora stopped struggling and seemed to be out. She finally let go, and rose back to her feet.

Lyn: And here’s Stacey to pick at the bones after Nora’s actually been wrestling. Impressive. Truly.

Zack: These two need to settle this once and for all, and that’s what will happen come Wipeout when Nora is fresh and ready to fight back.

The trio headed for the ramp to more boos as a trainer went to the ring to check on Nora. And then the show headed elsewhere in the arena.

Hunting A Lioness

When the show returns to the back, we find the familiar pair of Celeste and her manager, Christian Kincaid. They are watching a pair of clips on the monitor showing Elizabeth Lannister costing Celeste the Aspire Ring at Anarchy during her match with Lacey, and then her involvement during the dodgeball challenge at the pool party. As the clip concludes, the pair look back to the camera.

Christian: Let’s not pretend that we don’t know what all this is about. I don’t care what Elizabeth or Kyle or anyone else says. The entire reason that they have been targeting my client here is because well….she kicked Kyle’s ass in a tag match with Lacey.

Saying it brought a smile to his face as he looked to Celeste. She shakes her head in disappointment.

Celeste: So this is all backlash.

Christian: But let’s be honest about it. HE asked for the match, he put himself into it. He made himself Lacey’s partner. So the fact he got knocked goofy by myself and Celeste, well...who’s fault is that?

He seems to ask Celeste.

Celeste: It's all Kyle's own fault.

Christian: And now, here we are set for Wipeout when this girl right here gets to go hunting for a lioness. See, what Elizabeth has to remember is this isn’t a girl who’s going to throw cockroaches on her. This isn’t a girl who’s going to play mind games with her. Nope, Celeste is a girl who will get right in her face and go straight ahead from there.

Celeste: I never play games. I bring the fight to the ring and you better be ready for it or else!

Christian: Costing her the dodgeball challenge...and far more importantly, her shot at the Aspire Ring….yeah, these aren’t things that are going to be ignored. After all, I’m sure you’d agree you had Lacey dead to rights that night, wouldn’t you?

Celeste: You bet I did! No one who watched that match can deny just how much of a threat I am in that ring, but so many put me down or brush me aside. Well that's one BIG mistake!

He seems to agree, and looks back to the camera.

Christian: But we’ll deal with her at Wipeout, and finish that piece of business before Celeste here goes and gets the Aspire Ring. But I figure we should mention how you’re part of the Future Shock Cup now. Where you have to win a tag match to get into a fatal four way later. And you got a pretty great partner in Lydia Charisma. She’s a powerhouse and a half!

Celeste: Yes! Her strength and my speed should mix well. Lydia pounds them and then I ground them.

Celeste punches one fist down into then other and grinds the knuckles into the palm. Christian looks from her, back to the camera.

Christian: So all things considered, what you are looking at here is a woman who will be looking to get the Future Shock Cup for herself and maybe mounting a lioness’ head on her wall after Wipeout. How’s that sound?

Celeste: I think it sounds like a plan.

He gives her a pat on the back as the pair head off camera. From there, we head to a commercial for the next episode of Future Shock.

Her Cup Runneth Over

The next image we see is that of the Future Shock Director Adam Grant as he is seen in a hallway talking with Angel, who at this point, is alone. As the camera moves closer, it picks up the conversation.

Adam: Angel, thanks for joining me. I had something to discuss with you, and I think it could be a big opportunity. But there’s one small issue, which is why I wanted to chat with you about it first.

Angel gives Adam a curious look, arching an eyebrow slightly.

Angel: There are usually issues where it involves me. What can I do to help you with this one?

Adam: Well the idea is that I would like to put you into consideration for chasing the Future Shock Cup this year. It’s been a pretty big deal for most everyone who’s won it, and I am of the mind that you deserve a shot to get into the running. How would you feel about that?

That brings a smile to the blonde’s face.

Angel: I would be most appreciative of the opportunity. You’re right too, everyone who’s won it has never lead a life after of being nobody...except maybe one, but we won’t talk about her. So, what’s the issue?

Adam: Well the issue is the fact that...you don’t really have any friends or allies in Future Shock. In my first two teams I made, we have Lydia Charisma and Celeste. They may not be besties, but they like and respect each other. I’d say the same goes for Lacey and Elizabeth Lannister. But….I hate to put you into a situation where you have to team with someone when you really are kind of a loner. It almost feels like I’d be stacking the deck against you, if that makes sense.

Angel: That makes sense. And I understand the predicament. However, I would like to think that in order to achieve a common goal, I could work with quite a few people. Whether this changes anything for you, I don’t know. All I can offer you is a reassurance.

Adam: It is just for one match. After that, we start narrowing the field down. Hm.

As he thinks it over, that’s when Angel’s manager joins her. Christian moves behind Angel with a brief shoulder rub before he stands alongside her.

Christian: Sorry I’m late. What’d I miss?

Adam: I want to put Angel in the running for the Future Shock Cup this year, but she doesn’t really have any friends or allies….other than you in Future Shock.

That brings a grin to Christian’s face.

Christian: I’d be her partner, though the prizes are probably not something I’d be able to chase after later.

Angel: I’m also quite sure you wouldn’t be allowed to on account of the fact you don’t have female anatomy!

Christian: Well that’s very true. But look, I’m pretty sure I can help with this one. I have a few clients after all, and I doubt I’d need to make too many phone calls to find one who would love to add the Future Shock Cup to their resume. Would you both mind if I found her a partner? I don’t want her to be precluded just because she tends to be a loner.

Angel: I certainly have no issue with it, but it’s ultimately not my call to make.

Adam: Alright then, just make sure it’s someone in Future Shock or an alumni, whoever you pick.

Christian: I can do that, and have you an answer before the end of the week at the latest. That way, Angel here can do what she does best and put that Cup on her achievements list.

Adam: You got yourself a deal then.

Adam offers Christian a handshake, which he returns.

Adam: Now go get Tara...I want to see you both in my office before the show is over.

Adam headed up the hallway as Christian looked to his client and former tag partner with a smile.

Christian: Don’t worry about it. Leave everything to me.

Angel: I trust you, don’t worry. We wouldn’t be as close as we are if that wasn’t the case.

He nodded his head as the show heads elsewhere.

The show heads back to the ring after the commercial break, and we find the “Wildcat” once again front and center.

Gaby: The following contest is scheduled for one fall!

Zack: Another debut set to take place right here, Lyn, as Mars Whimsey is about to show us what she can do against an unpolished and easily dislikable Lilliana Leucrotta.

Lyn: Miss Personality Free? Yeah she’s plenty dislikeable.

The techno-pop beat gets multi colored strobes flashing as Mars rushes out onto the stage, arms held high and waving to the crowd. She smiles brightly before starting to stride down the ramp, leaning out to slap hands with the FFW faithful.

As Whimsy gets down to ringside, she does a quick, old-school lap around the ring, actively trying to slap hands with as many fans as possible before trotting up the ring steps and onto the outside apron, where she quickly hops up on the outside second turnbuckle bracket and holding her arms out wide.

Gaby: Introducing, from Las Angeles, California, standing at 5’7” tall and weighing in at one-hundred and ninety pounds, MARS WHIIIIIIIIMSY!

Nodding to the crowd Mars lightly hops over the ropes and into the ring, removing her multi-colored headband and walking to her corner to await the start of her match.

Zack: We don’t know a whole lot about Mars. The biggest connection she has around these parts is that she’s a friend of Andi Takata. So she has that going for her, but it’s not going to be much help here.

Lyn: Not at all. I admit I am interested in what she can do in the ring though. She’s very... Bright.

Gaby: And in this corner, from South Bend, Indiana... weighing one hundred sixty-five pounds... Lilliana Leucrotta!

Zack: Little Mary Sunshine here came in like a house of fire in Future Shock, and went on quite a tear until she met Mara Werth. Then she came up short in Glasgow, and is likely in an even fouler mood than usual. That’s saying something.

Lyn: After Mara there’s been a distinctive... Hiccup in Lilliana’s step.

Referee Jennifer Stringer checks both women before calling for the bell when Gaby leaves. The two meet in the center, and with no hesitation, Leucrotta spits in Mars’ face. The newcomer reaches up to wipe the spit away when Lilliana starts firing right hands. But Mars blocks them with one hand, and unloads with a series of elbows to her head She starts using both elbows one after another, sending the foul mouthed Prospect back into the ropes. Lilliana gets fired across to the far side before Mars follows in after her with a roaring elbow to the head that drops to her a seat against the ropes. Whimsey climbs up onto the middle rope, and comes down with a basement dropkick to the chest. It nearly sends Leucrotta through the ropes, but Mars drags her back into the ring by her legs. A double leg drop between her legs follows that, and Mars gets back to her feet immediately.

Zack: Lilliana wanted to start by disrespecting Mars at the bell, and whoo boy! She paid for that in spades just now!

Lyn: As my cousin would say, you might have heard of her, ‘beating that ass up and down the ring’!

Leucrotta started to get to her knees before Mars hit the near side ropes, and caught her with a hip check to the head that sent Lilliana reeling to the side. She pulled her back to her feet, and hoisted her up for a vertical suplex. And in quite the show of strength, she held her upside down for nearly six seconds before crashing Leucrotta down to the canvas. Whimsey rebounded off the far side with a rolling thunder senton on top of her opponent before hooking the leg to make the cover.

Zack: Mars got some skills in there, Lyn! Leucrotta’s already in trouble!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOO!!

The Indiana native got her shoulder up, and Mars got back to her feet. She pulled her up by the arm, and spun into her with a discus elbow to the mouth. It sent her staggering backwards before Mars scooped her up, ran in a half circle before driving her into the mat with a powerslam.

Lyn: Whimsey is... Terrifyingly strong and fast. Like... We’re into some lightning bruiser territory.

The crowd was solidly behind the newcomer as she got back to her feet. She looked out over the crowd with a nod, and her opponent used the opportunity to roll out of the ring to the floor. Lilliana was a little wobbly on her feet before she leaned against the barricade. Stringer began her ten count as Leucrotta began to get her bearings as she walked around the ring.

Zack: You can tell Lilliana’s trying to remember if she’s in Boston or Bangkok right now. I don’t think she was expecting this from Mars.

Lyn: I’m not sure any of us were but you know what they say about happy surprises.

Mars stood in the center of the ring, not taking her eyes off her opponent before she got back onto the apron. She was about to step through when Mars went to get her, but she surprised the newcomer with a shoulder thrust in the ribs. It backed her up a little before she came back into the ring. When Mars went to grab her again, Lilliana scooped her up and fell backwards into a stun gun across the top rope. Whimsey struggled to breathe before Lilliana mowed her down with a clothesline, and then dropped down to bite into her face.

Lyn: Leucrotta finally has her say in this match though she looks a bit worse for wear for... Is THAT necessary!? BITING?

Zack: it’s one of her trademarks. That’s something you do, I guess, when your actual in-ring abilities are as limited as hers.

She finally let go at four as the referee was about to call for the bell. Lilliana drove hard elbows into the side of her head before wrapping both hands around her neck to choke her. Another four count occured before she let go. Rising back to her feet, she took off for the near side ropes and connected with a double stomp to her body that folded Mars up on the mat. She pulled her up long enough to put her into position for a piledriver, which she then executed before going for the cover.

Zack: I haven’t seen her use a piledriver too often, maybe it’s enough to put Mars away in her Future Shock debut.

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

T-NOPE!!

Whimsey got her shoulder up in time before the three. Leucrotta made her suffer for it by biting into her shoulder this time. Stringer got to four before she let go, and the cameras could see the bite marks and little drops of blood on Mars’ shoulder.

Lyn: Someone get that woman antiseptic after the match. We don’t want any promising new talents to catch rabies.

The Indiana native got back to her feet, dragging Mars up with her. She caught her with a short knee to the ribs that doubled her over before Leucrotta bounced off the near side with a running kneelift. Whimsey stumbled backwards before she was hoisted onto Leucrotta’s shoulders before she fell straight backwards with her to the mat. She got to a knee from there, and began unloading with punches to the head.

Zack: I’m not sure if she’s learned how to do a Samoan drop, or that was just a fluke. But in any event, Lilliana is doing some damage here. And right back to those punches. If she learned a few things, she could rely on more than just brawling tactics, Lyn.

Lyn: It’s what she just... Knows, Zack. In her defense, something you will probably NEVER hear me say again. It’s easier to work with what you know than what you may not.

Leucrotta got to her feet, and headed for the corner. She squatted for a second, watching Mars as she tried to get up. And when she looked like she was about to rise, Lilliana bolted out of the corner looking for her curb stomp. But Mars avoided it, and all her opponent did was stomp the mat. Mars got back to her feet, and scooped her up for a Michinoku driver! The crowd came back to life as she reached for the leg to make a cover!

Lyn: Big time sitout Michinoku driver and that might be all she wrote!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEE-NOPE!!!

Much to the crowd’s chagrin, Lilliana popped her shoulder off the mat. Mars slowly got back to her feet, She whipped Leucrotta with all her might into the corner before she crashed, and fell to a seat against the turnbuckles. Mars glanced around, and took off towards her and landed a bronco buster, bouncing up and down on Lilliana’s chest!

Zack: Mars has turned the tide, and Lilliana’s been taken for a ride! I’m not sure why Mars was nervous about getting in the ring, she’s been absolutely outstanding!

Mars climbed back to a vertical base with the crowd solidly behind her now. She pulled Lilliana out to the center of the ring before Whimsey took off for the far side. She built up quite a bit of momentum before she left her feet with a cannonball right onto Lilliana’s chest. It landed just as Lilliana was trying to sit up, crushing her back to the mat before Whimsey got back to her feet with a newfound surge of adrenaline.

Zack: Cannonball senton from Mars, and that’ll collapse your lung no matter what size you are! I think she may be close to putting this match away!

Lyn: I’ll bet you even our Ultraviolence champion, a proponent for that maneuver was taking notes from Mars’ usage!

Lilliana was slow to get to her feet before Mars helped her the rest of the way. She scooped her up over her shoulder before Leucrotta started hammering elbows into the side of her head. It caused Mars to lose her balance for a second, and allowed Lilliana to land on her feet behind her. She scooped Mars up, and immediately dropped her into a brainbuster. Leucrotta immediately followed it up with a tight cover, an angry look on her face.

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NOPE!!!

Mars got her shoulder up in time once more, causing Lilliana to hurl some obscenities at the referee before she got back to her feet. Muttering angrily to whoever was listening, she headed for the corner and looked to be measuring her opponent. When Mars started to move, Lilliana bolted towards her and left her feet looking for a curb stomp!

Lyn: Leucrotta looking to finish this with one, final---

Leucrotta bolted towards her, once more looking for her finisher. But Whimsey avoided the contact, and got back to her feet. Lilliana spun around to face her before she got caught with a facebuster to the mat. Whimsey headed for the corner herself this time, but not with a curb stomp in mind. She headed up to the middle turnbuckle, and came off with her second rope senton into a cover!

Zack: She calls that ON A WHIMSEY!! And she may have knocked a lot more than whimsy out of Lilliana!!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

The crowd came to its feet as Mars sat up, catching her breath and then got up as well. The referee raised her hand, bringing a smile to her face.

Lyn: I’m not sure she ever had any but I’ll take this one all the same!

Gaby: Here’s your winner…...MARS WHIMSEY!!!

Whimsey dusted her hands together, and headed for the corner where she climbed back to the middle rope to rally the crowd.

Zack: What a debut for Mars Whimsey! She weathered Lilliana’s worst, and came away with her hand raised. Color me impressed, Lyn.

Lyn: Color you impressed, color Mars... Well, everything else.

Mars rolled out to the floor, and greeted many of the fans at ringside before she started to head for the back. From there, Future Shock went to a commercial break.

Roar of the Lioness

As Future Shock heads to the back, there we find the “Lioness” herself along with her manager, Kyle Kilmeade. The bombshell is finishing up a photo shoot with one of the photographers. As she finishes, Kyle hands her a bottled water with a smile.

Kyle: Flawless as always. It’s a pleasure to watch you in action.

Elizabeth: When you look like me, it comes as easy as breathing.

He turns his attention to the camera, still looking quite pleased with his client.

Kyle: In the last few weeks, there’s been some questioning as to why exactly this world class talent has been sullying her hands with someone like Celeste. I mean you all blame her for the Aspire Ring match at Anarchy, and then there was the pool party where Celeste had virtually no coordination… But let’s address the Aspire Ring match against Lacey first.

Elizabeth: People have apparently been quite upset because of my actions. They have even gone so far as to say I had no business being out there. That is where they are wrong. I went out there and made sure that Aspire Ring stayed where it was made to stay. Is it my fault that Celeste made one huge mistake when she ruined my manager’s very expensive suit? No. What I did was simply a warning.

Kyle: How about the pool party? It looks like you had a lot of fun. I know I did.

Elizabeth: That was a great party. The weather was perfect. I was simply minding my own business, enjoying a drink on my swan float when I saw Celeste have trouble standing. All I did like any good Samaritan was go over and make sure that she didn't fall. It's not my fault she has two left feet and fell in anyway.

The memories of both seem to bring a smile to his face.

Kyle: So if you want to know so badly and haven’t figured it out yet….maybe you’re slow. Maybe you have some kind of head trauma. I wanted to take this chance to let this world class talent and beauty as well explain it herself.

Elizabeth folds her arms across her chest as she takes a slight breath.

Elizabeth: In case you haven't heard or you have been living under a rock, I have the world's best manager in my corner. Having a great mind like Kyle means you are several levels above everyone. What Celeste did to Kyle was inexcusable. It was reprehensible. It was downright wrong. So naturally, he wants revenge. But since he is nothing short of a gentleman, he would never lay a finger on her. That is where I come in. And Celeste….you have no idea what you've done.

He nods in agreement as he listens to her, and folds his arms across his chest with a widening smile on his face.

Kyle: For whatever reason, Celeste seems to think she needs to get some payback. I don’t know why, because she’s trying to punch way out of her league here. But you know what? With it being set for Wipeout, Future Shock’s biggest event of the year, I don’t mind as much. I don’t mind at all actually, because a woman like this deserves to be spotlighted and featured on as big of a stage as possible. So if she has to wipe the mat with Celeste, I can live with that.

Elizabeth: A star and talent like me deserves to be showcased on nothing less than the biggest stage possible.

Kyle: You get your wish at Wipeout, Celeste. But like the saying goes, be careful what you wish for because you are definitely going to get it.

Elizabeth: Celeste, I hope you know what you are getting into at Wipeout. I was nice before. But now? You're getting every single claw.

He escorts her away from the photographers as the show cuts to a commercial for Wipeout.

The music starts playing with a series of hazy looking technicolor clips that slowly meld into black and white clips of professional wrestling, both women and men of days long past...

Gillie: Welcome to Future Shock’s “This Week In Wrestling” With FFW Future Shock champion Gillie Barnes... Brought to you by Plunder Pack. Plunder Pack comes filled with all sorts of shirts, toys, and memorabilia from your favorite brands. We’re in the middle of January, but that won’t stop you from getting your Plunder Pack! The Future Shock champion disappears off the screen and returns with a boxed version of a Play Arts action figure. As she steps away from the left, a hand reaches in from the other side to grab the Future Shock title off the back table. The champ comes back on screen, completely unaware and too excited to do her usual plugging.

Gillie: This! A Play Arts Kai Organization XIII Roxas action figure... Complete with adjustable head, hands, and keyblades, fully poseable! Order today with the code TWIWKEYBLADE! Remember guys! Plundering! It’s not just for pirates anymore!

The champion clears her throat and puts the boxed action figure down before she looks at the camera, turning to glance back at her now... Missing championship.

Gillie: Tonight on This Week In Wrestling it isn’t a more perfect time to discuss wrestling twins and how you can... Where the flipping hell did my championshi--

Gillie gets cut off when a figure rushes onto the scene, knocking her out of her boots. The red hair is a dead giveaway as Valerie McKinley stands over a fallen Gillie, clutching her missing Future Shock championship in her hand. Gillie is dazed as she clutches her head. Valerie drops down and blasts Gillie across the head with the title belt, throwing in a couple of fists to the skull and upper body for good measure. “Old School” tries to protect herself but she’s quite obviously dazed from the initial headshot with the title and the blows do little to help. Valerie stands up slowly and raises the Future Shock championship above her head.

Valerie: Your days are numbered, champ. This championship is coming with me, and there is nothing that you or anyone else will be able to do about it.

“Old School” tries to reach up, grabbing for McKinley but the One Percenter takes a step back before dropping the title in front of Gillie. Barnes looks down in confusion as she gets on all fours... Before Valerie forces her up and drops her with a Divine Providence right on the title for good measure. With the Future Shock champion spread eagled on the ground, The One Percenter kicks up dust and walks away.

We cut away from there.

Shades of Macbeth

The show cuts to a video of a candle flame flickering in a dimly lit room. Then three voices begin to speak.

Voice 1: Come what may and come what might
Voice 2: Our arrival will be far from slight
Voice 3: No cauldron bubbling or pointy hat

All 3 Voices: Oh Future Shock, we are so much more than that.

At the snap of a finger, the candle is extinguished and the room goes black. Then we head to commercial.

Title: Re: FFW Future Shock - Episode 42

The bell sounds as Future Shock returns from the commercial break, and we head back to the ring with Gaby ready to go.

Gaby: The following contest is your main event of the evening, and it is a six woman tag team match scheduled for one fall.

Lyn: This has all the makings of a powder keg just waiting to explode, Zack!

Zack: You’re not just whistling in the graveyard when you say that! No shortage of combustible elements in tonight’s main event.

As Seven Notes in Black by the Vince Tempera Orchestra begins to play, Harley Shannon appears on the stage wearing a leather jacket over her ring attire, with her tied up in a bun, held in place with a pair of chopsticks. Harley stands quietly in the spotlight as the song stops playing.

Gaby: Weighing in at 122 lbs, standing 5’6” tall and coming from Hanover, New Hampshire...HARLEY SHANNON!!!

After a couple of moments of silence the song starts up once more - with a more eerie tone and at that moment Harley starts off down the ramp, shedding her leather jacket before reaching back and pulling the chopsticks out of her hair and shaking her head to let her bright, flame red hair fall down around her shoulders. As she got to the bottom of the ramp, the girl picked out a young fan at ringside, giving the chopsticks to the fan before she slides into the ring and pops to her feet. Heading for the corner, Harley climbs to the middle rope, throwing her hands up in the air to get cheers from the fans before she drops back down to the canvas and waits for the match to begin.

Zack: In her last tag match here in Future Shock, Harley’s team fell victim to the Circle, then known as Ascension. I’m positive she wants to turn those fortunes around, and she has the best tag team in Future Shock right now to help her, evidenced by the fact they are holding the gold.

Lyn: As I said earlier, I have to believe that as much as Harley eats, sleeps, and drinks this business, she’s seen a few NHB matches when they were on the indies and already knows how she’s going to fit into their usual team dynamic. What that equation spells? Disaster for the Circle.

“Deuce” by Kiss begins to play, Jem runs out of the back and onto the stage area with a title belt around her waist, sprinting across to the far side and bouncing on the balls of her feet as she encourages the crowd to get a little louder. Charging across to the other side of the stage, she once more cheer leads before heading back to the middle of the stage. Meeting her partner there, Angela with her title belt on her shoulder, the two girls double high five and turn it into a hug that breaks as Jem charges down to the ring, sliding underneath the bottom rope. Angela follows her down the ramp, slapping hands with fans. Jem pops up to her feet and makes a tour of the corners, climbing to the middle turnbuckle and throwing her hands into the air to get a cheer from the crowd before moving onto the next one. As Angela reaches the ring she walks hops up onto the apron and raises one clenched fist in the air before she enters the ring and walks to the NHB corner to await the start of the match, then passes the titles to the referee.

Gaby: Approaching the ring at a combined weight of 306 lbs, the team of Jem Michaels and Angela Hinchcliffe. They are the reigning Future Shock Tag Team Champions.....NO HOLDING BACK!!!

Zack: Jem and Angela made history as the first team to ever hold the Future Shock Tag Team Championship, and so far...the only team. They have been nothing short of dominant, having held the titles since last October, Lyn!

Lyn: I know Valentina and Isis want to dethrone them, but it’s a big question of how rather than when!

The opening chords of “Destroy & Conquer” by Future World Music begin to rattle through the arena, the curtains start to move as Valentina Lozano & Isis Morales slowly steps out onto the ramp. They are unfazed by the boos from the crowd as Valentina bends her right knee and angles her left leg, her right arm shooting up into the air with a cocky smirk with Isis standing behind her, raising her fist in the air with a cocky smirk, standing in a unified domineering pose while basking in the negative heat of the crowd. Valentina gets back to her feet and then begins to walk side by side with Isis down the aisle.

Maggie: Making their way to the ring…at a total combined weight of three hundred and sixty-five pounds....”The Latin Goddess” Valentina Lozano and “The Titaness” Isis Morales... They are...

THE PRIVILEGED CIRCLE!!!!!!!!!

At the ringside area, Valentina and Isis walk around the ring once, gracing the crowd with sneering glares before entering the ring, Valentina then glares towards the referee in the ring and orders the referee to hold the ropes for her, which the referee reluctantly complies by doing what she says. She then wipes her feet on the apron and enters the ring. Meanwhile, Isis enters the ring by stepping over the top rope with ease. The ladies then go to opposite ring posts in which they climb up and pose to the crowd with complete confidence, taking in the atmosphere while the crowd reaction continues and the cameras flashing.

After the ladies taunt the crowd (and/or opponents), Valentina then goes to one of the corners to lean against.  After giving Valentina a few words and patting her on the shoulder, Isis smirks and stretches a little as they await for the bell to ring (or their opponents to come out.)

Zack: A win here for the Circle could put Valentina and Isis back into the mix for the Future Shock Tag Titles if they can pull it off. And they’ve proven they can against Harley in the past, but NHB has been a quandary for them.

Lyn: I’ll do you one better Zack. It’s not just a quandry. It’s a downright quagmire.

The lights in the arena sharply cut off, leaving everything in complete darkness. The chiming of a clock is heard echoing in the darkness, followed by a chipper, circus like chime tone. As the tone chimes on, a vibrant gold spotlight shines down on the top of the stage. The circus chimes are soon replaced by the opening chorus of “Villain” by Wild Fire.

"Tic tic toc, the time bomb clock
Ticks grinning ear to ear here baby
Tic Tic Toc, the time bomb clock
ticks counting down...
tic, tic stop!"

At the exact moment “stop” is sung, the song kicks into full gear, setting off a series of shimmering gold strobe lights going off on either side of the ramp. A few seconds pass before the controversial redhead, Valerie McKinley makes her way out from behind the curtain and stands in the immediate center of the stage, standing in the gold spotlight. Coming out behind her and standing next to her was her manager, one Kyle Kilmeade.

"You know I speak in riddles,
And I’m plotting to destroy
Villain as I always was
Crazy is as crazy does"

Clad in a mid-thigh length leather jacket worn open over her gear, Valerie looks around at the crowd showering her with a rousing chorus of boos. She looks over at Kyle and the pair simply shake their heads. The strobe lights begin to lessen in intensity as the pair makes their way down the aisle, her arms at her side and a focused look on her face. As she makes her way to the ring, the fans on either side of the aisle make their displeasure at her appearance rather noticeable, which Valerie simply dismisses with an arrogant flip of her hand.

"My sanity's in short supply
Mad as a hatter, hey surprise!
T-T-T-Ticking bomb on the inside
Livin' with the villain pacing in my mind."

Gaby: Ladies and gentlemen, making her way down to the ring, being accompanied by Kyle Kilmeade…..from Providence, Rhode Island…….Valerie McKinley!!

The boos grow louder as Kyle hops up onto the apron and climbs into the ring. Valerie hops up onto the apron and spins around so her back is resting on the ropes. With her head bowed, she lifts both arms up towards her head and has her pointer finger and thumb on both hands close to her head. She lifts her head up and extends her arms out, her fingers pointing out at the crowd like pistols. She then makes a motion like she was firing her finger guns at the crowd before turning around to see Kyle already holding the ropes open for her. She steps through the open ropes and into the ring.

"I'm blowing up the mystery
And all the pretty things you see
Light flame to fuse
And Sparks will fly
You said goodnight
Now say goodbye."

Once in the ring, she walks around with her arms extended outward, reveling in the heat from the crowd. She walks over to the corner and peels off her jacket, letting it drop to the apron as the lights return to normal and her music fades out. She rests her back against the turnbuckles and brushes a few stray strands of hair out of her face, awaiting the start of the action.

Zack: On our next Future Shock, fans, you’ll see a rare defense of the Future Shock Championship on network television when that woman right there challenges Gillie Barnes for the title in our main event!

Lyn: I have to hope that McKinley has since learned something in getting ready to clash with Barnes. Two times now she has made it clear she thinks little of the Future Shock champion, and two times now, said “Old School” has beaten her. One has to think The 1 Percenter has go to in there with a different mindset but tonight... Tonight is a different story.

Referee Jennifer Stringer checks all six women as Gaby leaves the ring, and then calls for the bell to start the match. Angela starts for her team, and Valentina begins for hers. The two stare across at one another as Valentina looks supremely confident as usual. When they lock up in the center of the ring, they jockey for position with Angela digging in and starting to push Valentina back into the ropes. She gives a clean break when Valentina goes for a cheap shot, only for it to get blocked and Angela fire back with an uppercut. The shots start coming faster than before Hinchcliffe uses a hip toss to bring Valentina down to the mat. It doesn’t keep the “Latin Goddess” down long though, and Angela meets her getting up with a running forearm to the mouth. It staggers Lozano briefly before Angela scoops her up for an inverted atomic drop followed by a short arm clothesline. She quickly makes the tag to Jem before they both grab the top rope, and Angela uses it to slingshot her partner over the top rope into a flying shoulder tackle as Valentina gets back to her feet.

Lyn: Valentina and Angela starting things out for their team and already Jem is in... I don’t think Lozano saw that... Or that tackle coming.

Zack: Of the three on her team, Angela is the best suited to go toe to toe with someone like Valentina, especially in the power department. I’m sure she’d agree if she wasn’t being hammered.

Jem quickly sits her up, and plants a knee in her back before applying a rear chinlock on the more powerful wrestler. Valentina’s face shows plenty of anguish as her body is bent, courtesy of the redhead. She doesn’t stay down long though, and makes it back to her feet before Jem transitions it into a side headlock. Lozano easily fires her off into the ropes, but Jem stops herself before she hits them. Lozano comes in behind her, but Jem bounces off the middle rope and rolls over Valentina’s back when she lowered her head. Lozano looked up, and got brought straight down with an inverted facebuster, striking the back of her head off the mat before Jem hooked a leg for a cover.

Zack: Jem must have eyes in the back of her head! We got a cover!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

NOPE!!

Valentina kicked out at two, and Jem was already back to her feet. She darted back to her corner, and made the tag to Angela. The powerhouse stepped in, and whipped her own partner towards Valentina as she was getting up. Lozano ducked her head for a back body drop, but Jem turned it into a sunset flip! Lozano wasn’t going down though until Angela mowed her down with a lariat, and into her own cover as Jem rolled out.

Lyn: Beautiful sunset flip by Jem and Angela follows it up with that step-through lariat! This is the type of consistency you need to even step to NHB.

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

NOPE!!

Again, Valentina manages to kick out at two. Angela quickly gets back to her feet, and circles around behind Valentina to apply a three quarter nelson.

Zack: NHB are just on another level right now as a tag team, Lyn. They have been nothing but flawless in this match since the bell rang, and Valentina’s got no answer.

Lyn: There’s no credit line high enough to buy her way out of this!

The crowd was solidly behind her as Angela shook Valentina a little bit, trying to disorient her in the hold. But Valentina weathered that, and used her free hand to start firing fists into Angela’s head. It broke the hold, and gave Valentina a chance  to catch Angela with a running knee to the body that doubled her over. A gutwrench suplex followed that before Lozano measured a fist drop into her face. It caused Angela to roll onto her stomach, and gave Valentina the opening she wanted to begin hammering elbows into her lower back. Six in a row connected before she pulled her fellow powerhouse up, and then executed a backbreaker across her knee. Lozano reached back towards her corner, making the tag to Valerie who glided through the ropes into the ring. She hopped up onto the second turnbuckle from the inside, and came off with an elbow drop aimed directly into Angela’s lower back.

Zack: Valentina’s managed to neutralize Angela here, and she’s calling in the more technically precise member of the Circle to continue where she left off. Valerie will likely slow this pace down to keep Angela on the mat.

Lyn: She has to. As much guff as I give Kyle’s clients, they’re all capable when they want to be. McKinley more than most.

McKinley kept the pressure applied by using a standing surfboard, pulling back on Angela’s arms as she planted her foot against her lower back. Stringer moved down in front of Angela to see if she wanted to submit, and got no such confirmation. Valerie seemed to be enjoying herself though as she pulled back further, and even added more pressure by crossing her arms behind her back and moving her foot up between Angela’s shoulder blades. The tag champion’s face grimaced in pain.

Zack: You can see how this feels by looking at Angela’s face. Valerie has to spend virtually no energy to keep this hold applied as long as she wants. We know from Kyle she and Lacey would like to challenge for the tag titles.

Lyn: Your more ravenous fans might start chanting ‘boring’ at Valerie... Which would in turn make her keep this hold only going longer... Wait seriously? They just want everything don’t they?

McKinley continued to apply pressure, but ultimately broke the hold when Angela refused to submit. She drove a pair of knee drops into her back before she took off for the far side. Angela started to get back to her feet, aiming to clothesline Valerie on the rebound. But the redhead ducked underneath her arm, and surprised her with a codebreaker. She quickly went for the cover, and hooked the outside leg in the process as Stringer slid into position.

Zack: A double knee backbreaker, and Valerie could be close to knocking off one half of the tag team champions!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

TH-NOPE!!

Angela’s arm came up in time, and Valerie got back to her feet with a huff. Hinchcliffe tried to rll away from her towards the ropes and started to rise herself. It was clear how much pain her back was in though as she moved forward. Valerie charged her, but got caught and planted with a spinebuster by Angela. Both women lay on the mat as Angela looked around to find her corner.

Lyn: Angela powers Valerie down and now they BOTH need to make a tag, Zack!

Hinchcliffe rolled onto her stomach, and began to crawl towards her team’s corner with both Jem and Harley with their hand outstretched. As she got closer, Valerie got back to her feet and grabbed her foot and started trying to drag her backwards.. Angela rolled onto her back, and used both feet to piston Valerie backwards a couple steps before she got to her feet. The redhead went to get her again in a rear waistlock, but Angela began firing back elbows with both arms, rocking her loose as McKinley stumbled in place. The powerhouse bounced off the near side ropes, and connected with a rolling koppu kick that flattened her. The crowd came to life again as Angela started towards her corner once more.

Lyn: Man I love that maneuver. Angela is literally WILLING herself into the corner and now it's time for an eruption!

Zack: And there’s the tag! Harley Shannon’s checking in, and she’s fresh as a daisy and ready for a fight!

Hinchcliffe dove towards her corner, and made the tag to Harley. Shannon hopped up onto the top rope, and bounced off when Valerie got up to bring her down with a blockbuster. Shannon took off towards the other team’s corner, and blasted Valentina too with a stiff shot and one for Isis before the Titaness tried to grab her. She managed to get away though, and circle around behind Valerie. She snapped off a German suplex followed by three more before she bridged up for the pin!

Zack: Wow, Harley wants to welcome everyone to Future Shock! Four rolling German suplexes later, and she’s ready to send Valerie home in a bad mood!!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THR-NOOOOOOOOOOOPE!!

McKinley rolled her shoulder before the three came down, and Harley hopped right back to her feet. She headed for the corner, and made her way to the top rope. With grace and agility, she left her feet with a 450 splash that landed perfectly before she went for the cover again!

Lyn: HARLEY SHANNON WITH A DAMN 450 LIKE IT’S NOTHING!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NOPE!!!

She got dragged off the cover by Isis. Harley hopped to her feet, and looked up to the Titaness who stared down at her with disgust. The crowd came to their feet as the two stared into one another’s eyes, while Stringer tried to get Isis out of the ring.

Zack: Look at this image! Isis and Harley are staring at one another, and I think these people want to see it!

Lyn: Shannon knows no fear! Isis can throw those hands but I’m pretty sure Harley’s legs are lethal weapons!

The staredown was broken up though when Valerie used a belly to back suplex to send Harley into the turnbuckles. She grabbed the top rope, and began to stomp away at her. Isis finally stepped back out to the apron as Valerie took off for the far side. She rebounded quickly with a running knee trembler into the side of Harley’s head, crushing it against the corner. She dragged her away from the corner by her feet, and fell into a cover with a hook of the leg.

Zack: Harley could be out cold!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

TH-NOPE!!

Harley kicked out at the two count before Valerie pulled her up, and drove her headfirst into the corner with a bulldog. It dropped her to her knees as Valerie pulled her up, and brought her down with a slingshot suplex. She was about to pick her up again when she heard Isis’ voice, and found the Titaness with her arm outstretched for a tag. Valerie immediately gave it to her.

Lyn: Isis has decided she wants a piece of Harley now!

Isis stepped over the top rope as Harley was trying to get to her feet. She jerked her forward, and high overhead into a gorilla press slam before walking out from under her. Shannon hit the mat hard before isis stepped onto and over her chest walking past her. Morales reached down, and picked her up by the throat with one hand. And with one swift motion, she landed a chokeslam on the former Future Shock Champion. The Titaness pressed both hands into her chest for the cover as Stringer dropped to make the count.

Zack: A bone shaking chokeslam from Isis, and the Circle can see the end in sight!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-WHOA!!

The count never finished before a pair of running baseball slides from NHB sent her rolling off to the mat. Jem and Angela began unloading with shots to Isis’ head before Angela rolled out to the floor. She slid a chair in the ring, and set it up on the mat.

Zack: What is she---

As soon as she did, Jem took off towards the chair, and used it for a step up superkick that sent Isis backwards and falling into the ropes with her arms caught! Angela got rid of the chair immediately before the referee started trying to get them out. Morales struggled to get free with her arms wrapped in the ropes until Harley made it back to her feet, and caught her with a superkick of her own. It snapped her head backwards before she gave a tag to Angela. The powerhouse came in, fired off one powerful superkick of her own, and then tagged in in Jem. The redhead took off for the far side, and came back with a spinning roundhouse kick to Isis’ jaw as she remained trapped in the ropes!

Lyn: E-E-E-ERUPTION!!! I think... Holy... Zack I think Isis Morales is OUT COLD!

Zack: How could she not be?! It turned into a superkick party that Andi Takata would be proud of! Isis is colder than a mackerel!

Isis’ head hung forward against her chest as Valentina and Valerie tried to free her from the ropes. Jem doubled back to the corner, and made the tag to Angela. She stepped back in as the Circle managed to free Isis. And when the powerhouse stumbled back to her feet, Angela took off and caught her with a huge spear into a cover!

Lyn: THEY HAVE LITERALLY CHOPPED ISIS MORALES DOWN LIKE A REDWOOD! MY GOD WHAT A SPEAR!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NO!!

The cover was broken up by Valentina, who used a double stomp to Angela’s back to break the pin attempt. As Lozano was heading back to the corner, that was when Harley darted back into the ring and the two started trading blows before they toppled through the ropes to the floor. Valerie hopped down off the apron, and the two began to double team Harley on the floor….at least until Jem climbed up onto the top rope, and came off with a suicide dive that wiped both of them out.

Zack: The referee has lost control of this, and Jem just wiped out two thirds of the Circle right there! And then there were two….Angela and Isis!

Isis started to sit up, holding her head as she got back to her feet. Angela was already up, waiting behind her and looking for another spear when she turned around. Morales did turn, but brought her knee up into Angela’s face as she went for that spear. It crumpled her where she landed before Isis scooped her up onto her shoulders in a very familiar position.

Lyn: Angela went too many times to the well--

Isis wasted no time in executing her F5 into a DDT, drilling Angela into the mat with thunderous impact. She hooked the leg for the cover as the referee moved into position.

Lyn: --And got a VOYAGE TO ARMAGEDDON FOR HER TROUBLES!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Harley and Jem tried to make the save, but were yanked back out by Valentina and Valerie when the final count landed.

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

Boos rained from all around the arena as Stringer called for the bell. Isis got back to her feet, breathing heavily as she was joined by her partners. The referee raised their hands in unison.

Gaby: Here are your winners…..VALENTINA LOZANO, VALERIE MCKINLEY, ISIS MORALES…..THE PRIVILEGED CIRCLE!!

Zack: What a wild main event, but in the end, Isis proves to be the ultimate difference maker...as she usually does! The Privileged Circle have pulled out one hell of a big win tonight!

Lyn: They’ve put themselves onto the momentum train in multiple ways tonight.

Valerie and Valentina looked quite pleased, despite the crowd’s response to their win. Isis looked over to the floor to see Harley, taking a deep breath as the two locked eyes again.

Lyn: ...But that looks like a story for a different time.

Zack: On our next show, the Future Shock Championship will be on the line for the first time inside the Future Shock Arena! Valerie McKinley and Gillie Barnes for Future Shock’s richest prize!! Don’t you dare miss it!! We’ll see you at Velocity!

The Circle raised their hands in victory once more for the unhappy crowd. Then Future Shock faded off the air.
