As you may or may not know, Hurricane Florence is preparing to unleash on the Carolinas this coming weekend, which happens to be where yours truly is located. The reason I am bringing this up is because there's a fair chance I may lose power for a bit. If that happens, then the shows will be a bit more delayed going up since I'm the only one who puts them together. So if I vanish off the boards a bit, I just want you to know I didn't disappear into the Bermuda Triangle. Given what I've seen and read, I don't think I'm going to get it that bad where I am. I could be wrong, but that's just how it looks. I'm not close to the coast at all, and that seems to be where the biggest damage is likely to come. I assure you IF it happens, I'll be back as soon as I can and getting everything out as I'm able. If you happen to be anywhere near where this thing is hitting and have a means of getting out of there, I encourage you to do so. Better to be overly cautious. Property can be replaced after all. People cannot. Anywho, this is just a PSA in case it does take place. If it doesn't happen, then I've wasted your time and mine both reading and writing this for you. As always, thank you for your extensive support all these years. You guys make this place what it is, I'm just the monkey pulling the levers. |
