Live from the Future Shock Arena in Boston, Massachusetts
November 8, 2022

The opening beat of Fort Minor’s “Remember The Name (Future Shock Remix) starts to play as the camera steps through the curtain to see Lexi standing in the ring surrounded by a massive crowd.

You ready? Let's go!
Yeah!
For those of you that wanna know what we're all about
It's like this, y'all, c'mon!

The camera spins around to see Sydney Christensen stepping out onto the stage, and thrusting her hand into the air. Highlights from her winning the Future Shock Championship play. The shot then goes through the gorilla position and through the hallways. It passes between both halves of Target Acquired when Alessandra and Nadia pass on either side, and we see both women becoming the Future Shock Tag Team Champions. Latina Heat are shown at ringside, offering to sign autographs though they aren’t getting many takers before we see highlights of their recent antics.

This is ten percent luck, twenty percent skill
Fifteen percent concentrated power of will
Five percent pleasure, fifty percent pain
And a hundred percent reason to remember the name

Ashley Marie Chase is checking herself out in the mirror, and quickly takes a selfie. The next thing we see is a boot on the edge of a table before we see it belongs to Angelina Fantastica as she’s lacing it up. She bumps fists with Arabella just before the Brit kisses her boyfriend, Jake, and heads out of the locker room and puts on their jackets. Angelina’s Future Shock Cup and Nova title win is highlighted, as well as Arabella’s recent dominating moments in matches.

She feels so unlike everybody else, alone
In spite of the fact that some people still think that they know her
But eff 'em, she knows the code, it's not about the salary
It's all about reality and making some noise

Three fists are shown touching one another before we find they belong to the Matriarchy before they head out of the room. Highlights from all three of their recent matches are shown, and then we cut back to find Fiona checking herself out in a mirror with Kyle standing behind her. She looks back to him with a smile, and then we see some of her shenanigans follow.

Five percent pleasure, fifty percent pain
And a hundred percent reason to remember the name

A pair of hands starts tying up brown hair. The hands are gloved, and as soon as the woman turns around, we see it’s Missy who pushes the camera away before it spins around into a live shot inside the arena with a thunderous crowd!

Lexi: Welcome to FUTURE SHOCK!!

The response gets louder before the show heads down to ringside, and finds Zack Hudson and Claire Black standing by.

Zack: It’s good to be home! Welcome back for the first time in 2022 to the Future Shock Arena here in Boston, Massachusetts. Nearly 10,000 people are here to welcome back the girls of Future Shock on a night where all of them and you watching at home have put together a Pay Per View quality show tonight. I’m Zack Hudson and this is Claire Black.

Claire: It’s good to be back in the improved Future Shock Arena. We’ve got the best facilities, can fit in more of the best fans in the world to watch some of the best wrestlers in the business. To say this card is loaded is a huge understatement and it’s all thanks to you the fans voting in your masses on the FFW app.

Zack: Our main event will feature a Champion vs. Champion match as Missy ends her streak of never facing a Future Shock Champion. Tonight, the Pure Champion will face the Future Shock Champion for the first time ever. Who do you tip the advantage to here, Claire?

Claire: I think this is going to be one of those rare occasions where Jacqui steps into the ring as the underdog tonight. And that’s not a slight on Jacqui who has been in impressive form all year in Future Shock to capture the Championship, but Missy has been on one heck of a run lately and will take some stopping.

Zack: Missy is gonna be part of Global Wars, but we are going to find out who will be representing the USA in the series that kicks off in January. There’s a lot of girls from right here in the States in Future Shock, so your guess is as good as ours as to who it will be this year.

Claire: And whoever it is knows that she’s got some heavy hitters standing between her and making history as the first ever winner for the USA. You’ve already mentioned Missy, but there’s also the veteran Fiona O’Dalaigh, the rising superstar Aviva Miller and the former Future Shock Champion, Sydney Christensen who’ll be facing Shaw in two weeks in Las Vegas and looking to put down a marker for next year.

Zack: Ruby Tyler will have her first hardcore rules match in Future Shock since joining us at the start of the year. She’ll meet Kristina Spencer, who debuted on our last show, in a street fight. Kristina seemed to want it to be first blood, but do you think a street fight benefits either of these two more than the other?

Claire: I don’t think so. I think this allows us to see both at their best and most vicious. They can go after each other, use anything not nailed down and do whatever they have to in order to pick up the win. This could be bloody and brutal and for some people it might not be all that easy to watch.

Zack: Also tonight, the fans decided who would be challenging Target Acquired for the Future Shock Tag Titles. Latina Heat got the win by a whisker in the polling. I guess this doesn’t fit well with the narrative of being held down by the man and not being allowed in Global Wars as a tag team.

Claire: You’d like to think so wouldn’t you Zack? What’s the betting that if you put that question to them they’d claim this has nothing to do with ‘The Man’ and more to do with the overwhelming desires of Latin America to see them succeed that their will simply couldn’t be denied. I certainly wouldn’t put anything beyond Latina Heat, not given some of the things they’ve done and said since they debuted.

Zack: And in case you were wondering, fans….

Zack reached under the desk and pulled out a shoebox with a pair of red heels inside, which he showed to the camera.

Zack: Whoever the Princess of Future Shock has decided tonight wasn’t the night for her arrival, and sent along the shoes she would have worn otherwise. Last time, it was a dress. Tonight, the shoes. Only thing left to send is her underwear, and that’s not a request.

Claire: I can’t decide if it’s like some kinda of twisted Cinderella thing she’s got going on here, she just doesn’t want to turn up or she thinks there’s something particularly regal about getting sent along in installments. Are we gonna get Ikea turn up later delivering the throne she would’ve sat on?

Zack: It’s gotten well past ridiculous if you ask me. But we don’t need whoever it is because tonight we have a huge card commemorating the last decade plus since Future Shock was formed in November of 2010. What a long way it’s come too!

Claire: It’s produced some of the biggest names in FFW history and it keeps on going from strength to strength, constantly raising the bar with new generation of talents that come through.

Zack: Let’s kick things off with some action and get things rolling. Lexi, it’s all yours!

The camera goes back to Lexi in a sparkling and revealing dress as she begins the introductions. She gets slightly distracted as she sees production staff rolling shopping carts down the ramp. And those carts were almost overflowing with weapons.

Zack: I think that should tell us all what we’re going to see first on tonight’s card. And there’s plenty of things for either Ruby or Kristina to get their hands on too.

Claire: They certainly have their pick of all their favourite toys and all sorts of items with which they can do an awful lot of damage. We’re certainly not holding back and giving them plenty of opportunity to get their hands dirty tonight.

Lexi: The opening contest of the Future Shock throwback show is a street fight scheduled for one fall with a 20 minute time limit.

The arena goes dark and we start hearing Gregorian Chants that appear to be in Latin. Finally “Darkness” by Jim Johnston begins to play and a Druid walks out with a lit torch and when he touches it to the ground an aisle way of fire lights up to the ring. At last The Shadow Priest emerges from the darkness followed closely by an emotionless Kristina Spencer with her barbed wire bat on her shoulder. Following behind her is Sister Abigail who is splashing holy water on the fans while smirking.

Lexi: Coming down the aisle accompanied by The ShadowPriest and Sister Abigail hailing from Los Angeles, California. She is “The Empress of Darkness” Kristina Spencer!!!!!!

The three of them slowly walk around the ring with Sister Abigail splashes the holy water onto the announcers and tells them they should repent for their sins. The Shadow Priest enters the ring followed by Kristina and finally Sister Abigail who then tells the referee he better not sin during the match or else suffer for them.

The lights finally come back on and then The Shadow Priest gives Kristina some last minute instructions and then takes her Barbed Wire bat from her and hands it to Sister Abigail who leaves the ring. After some more instructions Kristina gets a wicked looking smile on her face as she stares at the referee waiting for him to start the match.

Zack: Kristina made her arrival well known on our last big event in Future Shock, and this will mark her second match. She defeated Ashley Whitmore on our last show, and also proceeded to bite her every chance she got. That might have been why she wanted that first blood match tonight.

Claire: That might not be the best strategy tonight - if she does bite Ruby, then there’s every chance Ruby might find a pair of pliers and start yanking out her teeth. Kristina might want to raid those carts early and make sure that she gets her shots early if she can. I’d say she should let herself off the leash a little bit, but I don’t think that’s ever been an issue for Spencer.

Almost as though she had heard Claire, Kristina was directing her entourage to one of the carts to grab something for her. And it turned out to be a hockey stick that was handed up to her as she hopped out of the ring and headed up the ramp. Spencer stopped just to the right of the entrance opening waiting for Ruby to come out.

Claire: Kristina’s not wanting to wait tonight and there’s an awful lot of damage that you can do with a hockey stick. You think Kristina’s a Slap Shot fan and learnt a couple of tricks?

Zack: We’ll find out. We’re not far from where the Bruins play, so it’s not like hockey sticks are hard to come by. For Ruby’s sake, I hope she realizes what’s waiting for her.

The lights dim just before “Heavy” by The Glorious Sons starts playing throughout the arena.

Come heavy or don't come at all,
You leave your piece at home that's your call,
It never paid to be merciful,
Come heavy or don't come at all

The lights come up as the music rises and….a sandbag in a shopping cart rolls down the ramp. Kristina took a swipe at it as it passed till she realized it wasn’t Ruby. The fans came to their feet as Ruby appeared at the entrance behind her before she could turn around.

Come heavy or don't come at all,
Been here before and watched a better man fall
I smell the fear on you boy
Come heavy or don't come at all

Zack: Ruby was wise to it! There’s a monitor backstage just before you come out…and Tyler was paying attention! …What’s she holding?!

Spencer turned towards her and ran at her, swinging the hockey stick straight at her head. But the veteran ducked the shot, and started landing blows with a pair of nunchucks in her hands. She connected multiple times against Kristina’s body, causing the blonde to double over and then get dumped into the shopping cart before Ruby took off and pushed it into the ringside steps, sending Spencer crashing into and over them to the floor.

Lexi: From Barstow, California, weighing in at one hundred forty pounds, she is the Huntress, RUBY! TYLER!

Zack: Get out of the ring, Lexi!

Claire: I don’t know…while they’re prowling and brawling on the outside, the ring might be the safest place for Lexi, she might just want to be ready to run when they bring it inside and find herself somewhere safe.

Zack: Good point, you and I may need to be ready to move on a second’s notice!

Claire: We might indeed…We might lose our brand new desk before we’ve even get a chance to appreciate it.

The fans were solidly behind Ruby as she plucked a baseball bat from one of the shopping carts, and tapped her boots with it like a hitter. Kristina got back to her feet just as Ruby crashed the bat across her back and used it to uppercut her on the chin. It rocked the former tag champion backwards before the “Huntress” used the bat for a clothesline to the chest that took her down again. She twirled the bat in her hand, remarking “damn, I’ve missed this.” She pulled up the ring apron, smiling at the sight of a triangular shaped black bag and nodded her head.

Zack: Ruby’s armed with a Louisville slugger, all aluminum and she’s feeling like she’s back in her element again. I’m afraid to ask what’s in that bag…

Claire: If we ever have a home run derby or a company softball game, I think whatever side Ruby is on would be the favourites and whatever might be in that bag certainly seems to have caused Ruby’s eyes to light up don’t you think?

Referee Stephen Wilson called for the bell inside the ring, and stayed well out of the way as Ruby pulled Kristina back to her feet. She crashed her head into the top of the ringside barricade before sending her rolling into the ring. Tyler spotted the hockey stick Kristina dropped moments ago, and picked it up herself before sliding in after her. When she spotted the blonde starting to get up, she moved around behind her and used the hockey stick for a low blow between her legs that brought her to her knees on the mat.

Zack: That’s a definite foul on the ice if you’re playing hockey, but damn effective tonight as Ruby Tyler gets reacquainted with all her favorite toys here in Boston.

Claire: And she’s not letting Kristina get out of the block so far tonight. Spencer might be regretting inserting herself into the middle of this division when she first arrived.

A baseball slide sent Kristina almost out of the ring on the other side before Ruby rolled out to the floor. She started looking under the apron till she found what she was looking for on the side of the ring where Zack and Claire were. Tyler pulled out a door and bridged it from the front of the broadcast table to the apron before climbing up to go get her opponent.

Zack: Who put a door under the ring?! I’m guessing Ruby sometime today….

Claire: It’s certainly very unusual. Makes you wonder what else has been stashed under there tonight, doesn’t it?

The hardcore legend picked Kristina up over her shoulders before darting down the apron to deliver a running Samoan drop that broke the door in half before they landed on the floor. Ruby rolled over to make the cover as Wilson tried to find a spot that was safe to count without putting splinters in his hand.

Claire: Kristina just went right through the door and left it in tiny little pieces!! We’ve got the first fall of this street fight!!

ONE!!!

TWOOO-NOO!!

Spencer got her shoulder up as the two hit the floor, and Ruby got back to her feet. She scooped up part of the door and started striking it against Kristina’s body till it broke apart from all the impacts. The Boston crowd was chanting her name at this point, bringing a smirk to her face.

Zack: Ruby’s got this crowd eating out off her hands right now, and I’d say she’s damn sure ready for Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal two weeks from tonight at the Sin City Spectacular! Parents may want to put the kids to bed by now if they haven’t already.

Claire: I’m not sure Charlotte is going to be enjoying watching this match as much as our fans are. She’s getting a lot to think about and mull over ahead of her mystery title defense in two weeks time.

Ruby spotted Kristina’s entourage approaching, and spun around to greet them. She picked up a large splinter from the broken door, looking almost like a wooden stake as she encouraged them to come at her. Meanwhile, Kristina was getting herself together and made it to one of the shopping carts and pulled out a mirror. She made it to her feet, and darted towards the brunette. Ruby didn’t notice it till it was too late as the mirror shattered across the top of her head, breaking into pieces and dropping her to her knees. Kristina had even cut her own hands in the process as she grabbed Ruby’s head and started biting into where the mirror hit her head to make the cuts worse.

Claire: Ooooh!! That’s seven years bad luck for someone and Kristina going straight to her favourite means of attack now she has an opening!

Zack: Well if this had been a first blood match, it’d be over already. Ruby is definitely cut open on top of her head.

Kristina finally let go, letting out a scream and starting to rummage through another shopping card. She tossed out a few items till her eyes seemed to sparkle upon finding and retrieving a mace: a spiked metal ball on a chain attached to a wooden handle. Both members of her entourage looked on with glee as Kristina swung the ball around for a moment to get a feel for it before she shouted at Ruby to get up.

Zack: That’s a mace. And I don’t mean the spraying kind either! The fans wanted to see a street fight tonight, and by God, they’re getting one!

Claire: Who on Earth provided these weapons? Where the heck do you go to buy a mace in this day and age?

Ruby was slow to get to her feet, but dropped back down again when the spiked ball hit her in the back. It sent her stumbling forward into the steps before she was able to stop herself, and Kristina swung the ball over her head and looked to drive into Ruby’s skull. But the veteran rolled out of the way, causing it to make a loud clang as it hit the top of the steps. Kristina looked as though she were having the time of her life, and her eyes only sparkled more as she looked into the camera. Then she snatched it away from the man holding it! Ruby made it to her feet as the screaming Kristina swung for her head. But the brunette ducked and the camera crashed into the ringpost. Spencer quickly dropped it and grabbed Ruby’s head for a DDT into it and then made the cover.

Zack: Those cameras aren’t cheap at all, and I’ve never seen one used quite like that! Spencer may have the win right here!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

THRE-NOO.

Ruby kicked out before the three, and Spencer sat up on her knees to admire the carnage she had created with a broken camera, shards of mirror and the mace laying all around.

Claire: Typical isn’t it? We spend all this money, bringing out shopping carts full of weapons - including a mace - and still they have to go and find more toys and weapons to play with.

Spencer went to another shopping cart after getting back to her feet. She sorted through it quickly to find her next chosen weapon. This time, it was much heavier as she used both hands to pull out a cinder block and lay it on the floor. She let out a cackle as she pulled Ruby’s head between her legs and backed up a few steps to line up for a piledriver into the cinder block.

Zack: A cinder block! And she’s gonna pop Ruby’s head like a grape!

Claire: Charlotte’s probably cheering her on and willing her to do it! She could get the night off in two weeks if this keeps up!

Spencer went to lift her up, but she took a second too long and Ruby countered by standing up and using an Alabama slam that sent Spencer back first into the cinder block instead. The blonde shouted in agony as her back hit the block and she rolled off to the floor arching in pain.

Claire: Ruby saved herself and might have broken Kristina’s back with that move right there! And the cinder block just sits there unmoved by it all!!

Ruby pulled her up and shoved her back into the ring before she staggered around the corner to where the match had begun. She pulled the apron up, and retrieved the triangular shaped bag and set it on the apron before she started to untie it.

Zack: Usually when you see a bag in a match like this, it’s full of thumbtacks. But I’ve never seen tacks form that shape in a bag, and we’re about to find out what Ruby apparently stowed away earlier.

Claire: She can’t afford to take too long about this though, we’ve seen what happens if you give Kristina a sniff of an opening. This could still end badly for Ruby.

Before opening the bag, she pulled a small arrow out of her boot and lit the tip. Then Tyler brought out a small crossbow from the bag and shot the arrow across into the top turnbuckle across from her. It immediately began to burn before Ruby rolled back into the ring, leaving her weapon behind and touching the top of her head and seeing the blood on her fingers.

Zack: She brought….a crossbow! The turnbuckle is on fire, and there’s no way this is gonna end well for one of them!

Claire: This could be a new record Zack. Re-open the arena and before we get to the final bell of the first match we burn it all down. But what a way it would be to go out.

Ruby scooped Kristina over her shoulder, and took off for the corner with a snake eyes in mind.

Zack: You’re kidding me! She’s not gonna–

She was about to drop her face first into it, but Kristina slid onto her feet behind her and shoved her instead. The flames touched Ruby’s chest, causing it to catch fire before Spencer scooped her into an electric chair with a rollup as Ruby was trying to put out the flames on her chest.

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Kristina rolled off the cover as fire extinguishers started going off. One was aimed at Ruby’s body, the other at the burning turnbuckle. The blonde got back to her feet, cackling like a mad woman as she got her hand raised.

Lexi: Your winner by pinfall……………………KRISTINA SPENCER!!!

Claire: Kristina turns the tables on the Anarchy Championship hopeful, and picks up a huge win that will surely catapult her to the top of the division.

A pair of trainers immediately began to check on Kristina as another pair joined Ruby to tend to her wounds as well. The brunette clutched her chest where some of her ring gear was clearly burnt now. Kristina’s entourage showed her support as she hopped down to the floor, asking the camera why she wasn’t challenging for the Anarchy title.

Zack: I wouldn’t worry about it, Kristina. I have no doubt that you have Adam and Bri’s attention when it’s time to decide who faces the champion after Las Vegas.  What do you think Charlotte is thinking after seeing this match?

Claire: She’s put herself in prime position to get a shot at whoever leaves Vegas with the title and she’ll be watching that match like a hawk for any weakness in the Champion. Charlotte has to be thinking that the division is getting very crowned and all the more dangerous with every new entrant hunting her down.

As Ruby left the ring and was still being attended to by the medical staff, the show went to a commercial for the Sin City Spectacular in two weeks on FFW All Access.

The Moose of Anarchy

A quick video shows us highlights of the four women already announced for Future Shock Global Wars kicking off in January. Then we head back to the live show and find Sara with the reigning Anarchy Champion Charlotte Harker. And once again, the wheel is behind them.

Sara: I’m here with Charlotte Harker, the Future Shock Anarchy Champion. Thanks for joining me today, champ. I’ve been informed of some big news that I’m sure you will want to know. History making news in one case! And as you can see, the wheel is here too that will decide the fate of you and Ruby Tyler at the Sin City Spectacular in 2 weeks in Vegas.

Charlotte: Hi Sara, always a pleasure and I seem the wheel is still looking as…what’s the word? Ominous? Promising? Exciting? As ever. All those really violent, career shortening matches are there ready for Ruby and I in two weeks time. I gotta say, I’m looking forward to testing myself in this sort of environment and defending my Championship in Las Vegas in two weeks time on FFW All Access.

Sara: Before we got to the news, I thought we’d take a look at a couple more of the matches we’d possibly see. We covered a few last time.

Sara turned towards the wheel and started pointing out some of the options.

Sara: There’s an Ambulance match, where you can only win by stuffing your opponent into the back of an ambulance and driving her out of the arena. We got a hardcore lumberjack match…where the lumberjacks bring the weapons. I’ve never seen one of those before, and I’m not sure all of the lumberjacks would be satisfied just trying to keep you two in the ring.

Charlotte: I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t be all that hard to find people who dislike me enough to chance their luck and take a couple of pot shots at me from ringside. Probably the Gemstones for a start, Shaw probably wouldn’t mind it…and there’s probably a couple of women from FFW’s past that would happily want to see me bleed. Like Destiny and her little doll with her teapot. And Kristina too. Obviously. Whatever she feels would help her cause for a shot at the title belt.

Sara: We just witnessed the street fight that Ruby and Kristina had a few moments ago. Did anything you saw in that match give you pause heading into this match? There were definitely some new weapons being used that I don’t think I’ve seen before.

Charlotte: Yeah. I mean, do you know anyone whose idea of a good Tuesday night would involve getting shot at with a crossbow? Even if it’s only a little pocket crossbow? I still think it’s going to hurt going in no matter how much adrenaline is coursing through your veins and probably hurt even more when it comes back out afterwards. That said, it’s par for the course when it comes to the Anarchy division; one where you can get electrocuted, or have your head dunked into a fryer, or hit by a microwave, or have pepper thrown into your eyes. Or set on fire…though that seems to have become a little less likely since Raven joined FFW. At least until like ten minutes ago.

Sara: I have two big pieces of news for you. One is regarding this match actually, because it’s going to be the main event of the Sin City Spectacular. Never before in FFW history has a hardcore title been on the line in the main event of a Pay Per View…until two weeks from tonight! You and Ruby are going to make history together!

Charlotte: It feels like it’s about time and only fitting when you’ve got probably two of the best, most vicious, most violent competitors that have ever competed in any hardcore division in FFW. We both know how good Ruby is, how cool and calm she is and how she’s more than willing to go to any lengths and inflict any amount of pain and torment on her opponents. And I’ve shown how much getting this title and keeping this title means to me; that I’m more than happy to go toe to toe with her, match her every step of the way and do whatever I have to do to win. This is going to be one for the ages, so it’s fitting that it main events the show.

Sara: Well if that wasn’t big enough news for you, here’s some more. Adam has chosen you to represent the USA in Global Wars next year! You’ll be representing the entire country!  It might be like a night off from all the hardcore matches, huh?

Charlotte: Maybe, I guess it depends on what matches Adam and Bri what to book for Global Wars. Maybe they’ll want to throw in a wrench or two and test out the likes of Aviva and Fiona in a more violent environment. And it’s not like we’ve not seen Sydney get handy with a baseball bat. Or Missy wield a chain and enjoy herself in Full Metal Mayhem.

She shrugged her shoulders.

Charlotte: So, sure, it might well be a couple of nights getting back to some more technical contests, reminding everyone how good I can be - that I carried Shaw to a victory in the Future Shock Tag Season and then to a record breaking Unity Title reign. That I don’t need the weapons or the stipulations to be a force to be reckoned with. It should be a good series and I’m looking forward to coming through it and winning that shot at the Future Shock Championship - whoever might be holding it at the time.

Sara: I feel like you’ll be a good representative for all of the 350 million people in this country. The USA has had a bit of a spotty history in this series. This year, they had River who was fantastic in the series and fought all the way through. But I mean then we’ve also had Luna Cortez, who…I’m not sure your average everyday American could identify with, ya know?

Charlotte: Thank you. You’re right, obviously, there has been some questionable picks to pick America throughout the years…Luna Cortez was arguably just the latest in a line stretching all the way back to Jodie Gray who only seemed to be able to win matches in one season of the year. Can the average American identify me? Maybe. But I can’t say I care too much either way. I’m not going to be out here waving the flag for every match, baking apple pies, talking baseball or listening to Bruce Springsteen or whatever. That’s not me. Now that I’m in this series, I’m here to win it and to get myself that gold medal and that title shot. The fans can just revel and enjoy the fact they’ve finally got someone who might actually stand a chance of delivering them the bragging rights - even if I’m not the favourite going into it.

Sara: Last question. Given that tonight is all about commemorating 12 years of Future Shock, do you have any thoughts on the show that helped make you into the woman we’ve come to know since you arrived? To me, it doesn’t feel like it’s been that long. Any thoughts on Future Shock’s rise to what it was to where it is now?

Charlotte: Honestly, Sara, I’m pretty thankful to Future Shock. It gave me a chance - an opportunity, just like it has for plenty of other women and wannabes. Some of them have grasped that with both hands, they’ve made the most of it and they’ve gone from strength to strength. Some of them have wasted it…or it’s not worked out and it’s not been for them for whatever reason. It’s that competitiveness, that drive and desire from all those who have succeeded and who have wanted to be here that has seen Future Shock rise to where it is now; that has seen the best in Future Shock be the equal of the best of any wrestler anywhere in the world. I enjoy that, I enjoy being part of it and I feel like I thrive and I get better because of it.

Sara: Thanks for talking with me tonight, Charlotte. Good luck in Vegas and Global Wars.

We see Charlotte’s picture added to the Global Wars field of five before Future Shock takes a commercial break.

The show returns inside the Future Shock Arena, which is no longer a mess of weapons and broken glass. Then we see Lexi stepping back into the ring.

Zack: As you can see, we’ve got the arena back to pristine…as much as we can, including replacing that burning turnbuckle. You wouldn’t know we just hosted a wild street fight in it just a few minutes ago.

Claire: Our crew have done a fantastic job in getting us cleared up and ready to go for the tag title match coming up and we’re about to see one of the most beloved teams in Future Shock defend against one of those you just love to hate.

Lexi: The following tag team contest is scheduled for one fall with a 20 minute time limit, and it is for the Future Shock Tag Team Championship!

As “La Bamba” by Los Lobos begins to play a spotlight lights up the entranceway, picking up both girls as they dance out onto the middle of the stage, feet moving quickly and hips swaying, both have red roses in their hair, tucked behind an ear. The pair pause at the top of the entrance ramp, striking a pose back to back, grinning at the crowd before Dani starts to head towards the ring while Fran dances in place on the stage. Dani’s hips continue to sway as she keeps her feet on the floor while dancing down to the ring, hands moving around her body to accentuate and draw attention to her figure. As she reaches the halfway point, her partner skips down after her, before showing off with a back flip and a no-hand cartwheel.

Lexi: Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome the extraordinary team of “The Divine” Dani Ruiz and “Fuego Furiousa” Frani Garcia… LATINA HEAT!!!

When Gracia makes it to the bottom of the entrance ramp, she chooses a guy in the front row, flirting with him a little bit before she takes the flower from her hair and presents it to him...only to crush the flower in her head before spinning away. She darts towards Dani as the girl stands by the ring apron, using her to leapfrog onto the apron and immediately drop into the splits before she slithered backwards into the ring, rolling back and coming to her feet where Frani hopped up onto the middle rope, leaning forward and blowing a kiss to the crowd, telling the guys this was as close as they were ever going to get. While she did so, her partner launched herself underneath the bottom rope into the ring, rolling onto her back as she did so and kipped up onto her feet. She pulled a muscle pose for the crowd, showing off her abs before pulling the flower from her hair and tossing it carelessly to the floor. The two women hug before heading back towards their corner as they decide who will start.

Zack: Latina Heat won the polling to edge past the Shaolin Belles and the Doomsday Sisters to get this tag title match tonight. And I’m sure if they didn’t win, they’d have complained as much about that as being left out of Global Wars next year. No team has pinned them or made them submit since they arrived, but the team they are about to face is certainly capable of changing that.

Claire: I’m sure if they hadn’t won the poll it wouldn’t be long until they got a shot at the tag titles anyway. Like you said, no-one has made them tap out, no-one has pinned them, that’s a pretty solid argument for them to be in contention. Though until they did we’d hear about them getting held down by the man and the establishment denying the will of the people.

The curtain opens and Nadia Beaulieu and Alessandra Esposito appear as ‘Chase You Down’ begins to play around the arena.

Ooh Ooh
Don't let it slip away
Ooh Ooh
Don't let it get away

The two girls stand back to back and make ‘guns’ with their fingers. They raise them up and move them side to side to take their aim until they finally find their target directly in front of them. In perfect unison they make a motion as if firing and then lower their ‘guns’ with a satisfied nod, turning to face the ring when they have.

Can you hear me right now
I got your number
And I'm callin' you out
With liquid courage
I can beat all my doubt
There's not another
So I'm chasin' you down

They both take off towards the ring at a run, with Nadia reaching it before Alessandra. Nadia climbs the steps, while Alessandra hops straight up onto the apron when she catches up.

Chasin' you down
Can you see me right now
I'm comin' closer
Think I figured you out
Not like the others
You don't blend with the crowd
I've blown your cover
Now I'm takin' you down
Takin' you down

Lexi: Introducing at this time, ALESSANDRA ESPOSITO and the reigning Future Shock Diamond Champion NADIA BEAULIEU…..They are te reigning and defending Future Shock Tag Team Champions…...TARGET ACQUIRED!

Can you hear me right now
I got your number
And I'm callin' you out
With liquid courage
I can beat all my doubt
There's not another
So I'm chasin' you down
Chasin' you down

Nadia climbs up onto the turnbuckle while Alessandra hops up to sit on the top rope facing the ramp. Alessandra kicks her feet upwards to roll backwards into the ring landing on one knee. She keeps her head lowered as Nadia somersaults off the top turnbuckle to land on her feet behind her. The two make their finger ‘guns’ again, raising them to their mouths to blow the ‘smoke’ away before Alessandra gets to her feet and the two head to their corner, sharing some last minute words as they await the start of the match.

Zack: Target Acquired are magnets for gold! When they arrived in FFW, they won the Unity titles their first night on the roster. They captured these tag titles this past spring, and Nadia has been absolutely dominant since capturing the Diamond title. I think the Heat have their work cut out for them tonight!

Claire: They’ve won titles everywhere they’ve competed. Like you said, Nadia is a double champion, Alessandra has been the Future Shock Champion and been right in the thick of contending for it again over the course of this year. Arguably they’re the best and most exciting tag team to have entered Future Shock in a long, long time.

Alessandra and Nadia look out to the crowd as they are about to take their tag titles off when Latina Heat immediately spring into action. The brunettes dart across the ring and catch them both with blindside attacks. Dani and Francesca rain forearms against the backs of the champions’ heads before they manage to turn around and start throwing punches in return. Two eye rakes stop that though before the Heat whip them across for the ride, catching them on the rebound with running knees to their bodies…..but the champs didn’t have the tag titles off yet and the Heat suffered the impact more. Alessandra and Nadia quickly hand off the titles to referee Melinda Davis, who holds them up and gives them to Lexi before she leaves the ring.

Zack: Look at that, the Heat tried to jumpstart the match. But the champs still had the tag titles on and they hurt their own knees!

Claire: I guess the Heat were running on instinct and didn’t stop to think about the situation and they’ve been made to pay a price for that.

The referee refused to start the match with all four women in the ring. Nadia threw Francesca through the ropes to the outside before both halves of Target Acquired grab Dani for a double arm wringer. And then another before they fired her into their corner. Ruiz barely had time to respond before Nadia used an Irish whip to send Alessandra hurtling towards her with a corner clothesline. The former Future Shock Champion moved out of the way as Nadia connected with a stinger splash. As soon as they saw Francesca getting onto the apron, they both caught her with a double running shoulder tackle that sent her hurtling back to the floor. The champions high fived each other and shared a hip bump as the referee was still trying to get one of them out of the ring while the crowd was solidly behind them!

Claire: And I think pretty much everyone who voted for the Heat is getting what they wanted right now. Target Acquired are fully on top and rolling.

Zack: I think the Heat should be thrilled this wasn’t made a tornado tag match, because if it was….I’m suddenly not liking their chances.

Dani started out of the corner until Alessandra caught her with a running European uppercut that snapped her head backwards. Esposito quickly scooped her up for an atomic drop that propelled her forward into a lungblower from Nadia. The Italian beauty stepped out to the corner as Nadia made the cover!

Zack: This may be the fastest cover from the bell in FFW history!

ONE!!

Dani kicked out after the one landed, and Nadia quickly got back to her feet. She scooped up Dani’s feet next, catapulting her face and chest first into her team’s corner before tagging Alessandra into the match.

Claire: Quick tags between the Champs and that’ll help them isolate Dani and secure another successful title defense.

The Italian beauty scooped her onto her shoulders as the fans came to their feet sensing that her F5 finisher was coming up next. But Francesca hit the ring to stop her until Alessandra swung around and let Dani’s feet catch her partner on the side of her head. It sent Garcia backwards, but allowed Dani to land on her feet in a wobble. The tag champion hoisted her up for a fireman’s carry slam and used a drop toe hold to send Francesca face first between her partner’s legs.  Alessandra bolted back to the corner to tag in the Diamond Champion.

Claire: Alessandra’s certainly not phased in the slightest in dealing with both members of the challengers. The Heat are ice cold here in Boston!

Zack: I’m not sure what all Plan A entailed, but it’s a damn good time to switch toe Plan B.

Nadia hit the ring, and used a baseball slide to send Frani back to the floor and turn her attention on a very sore Dani as she was rising to her feet. Beaulieu hit the near side ropes, and rebounded in a quebrada that floored Dani to the canvas before she hooked both legs for the cover as Davis fell into position.

Zack: The Heat can’t catch a break, and their tag title hopes are about 3 seconds from being dashed!

ONE!!

T-NO.

Dani kicked out again, and shoved Nadia off the cover. The blonde quickly got to her feet, and headed for the neutral corner to make her way up top. Ruiz sat up and tried to get her bearings as Nadia was perched and waiting for her.

Claire: I don’t know what Nadia has planned but it might be all it takes for her to put this match to bed if she can land it flush.

Dani finally got back to her feet, but Nadia never jumped because Francesca darted down the apron and shoved her off the top turnbuckle. The French beauty hit the floor ringside as Frani immediately went back to the Heat’s corner. She started shouting at her partner in Spanish as Dani was still collecting herself as she realized what was going on.

Zack: Best move of the match by the Heat right there. I don’t speak Spanish, so I can’t tell you what Francesca is shouting to her partner. Dani’s still trying to get her marbles together right now.

Claire: I’m sure she’s just trying to motivate her and guide her back to the corner now that she’s managed to buy her a bit of time. That was a hard landing for Nadia - I tell ya, they’ve not made the floor any softer around the ring.

Dani glanced around, seeing her partner and then Nadia on the floor. She quickly rolled out after her, and shoved her back into the ring. Ruiz rolled in as well, and made the tag to her partner. Together the pair put the boots to Nadia, stomping her mercilessly in the corner. They both scooped her up, using the ropes for a slingshot suplex to put her on the mat with a thud. The referee demanded Dani leave the ring, but the brunette argued with her as Francesca started peeling off her wrist tape and quickly reusing it to tape Nadia’s hands behind her back. Dani finally left the ring as Francesca took off for the far side to deliver a knee trembler to Nadia’s head, toppling her over with her hands taped behind her.

Claire: That’s a different way to use wrist tape and surely the referee is going to spot this pretty early on aren’t they?

Zack: Remains to be seen. If the referee realizes it or not, you know Nadia does for sure.

She pulled the blonde up to her feet, and shoved her back into the Heat corner. Garcia climbed the corner, counting off ten punches in Spanish to Nadia’s head. The fans didn’t count along with her though before she hopped down. She headed towards Alessandra in the corner, calling her some unkind words that drew the brunette in. And as Davis went to stop her from getting involved, Dani was in the other corner wrapping a zip tie around Nadia’s wrists on top of the tape. Ruiz gave her partner the thumbs up before Garcia charged the corner with a running shoulder tackle to Nadia’s ribs.

Claire: We know that Latina Heat like using those zip ties and I really hope we’ve got something nearby that will help free Nadia’s hands pretty quickly because this could get ugly in a hurry.

Zack: We may have some scissors in the desk here, but the Heat are doing a good job of keeping it out of the sight of the referee for now.

Garcia made the tag to her partner before the two joined forces for a double gutbuster that folded Nadia into a ball on the mat. As Davis looked curious at where Nadia’s hands were, Dani pulled her back to her feet and snapped her a release German suplex. The blonde landed on her back as Dani hit the far side ropes to rebound into a double knee drop to her body. She scooped up both of Nadia’s legs as she sat on her chest for the cover.

Zack: Nadia may not be able to get her shoulder up with her hands like that…..

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOO!!

Zack was right, she couldn’t. But she was able to kick her leg free and get it across the bottom rope to cause the referee to stop the count. Beaulieu tried to tell the referee about her hands before Dani stopped that with a blatant two-handed choke!

Claire: Dani’s doing an excellent job of making sure the pair keep their advantage right now. But I think the referee is starting to get a little bit suspicious here.

The referee counted to four before Dani let go, and dragged Nadia by her feet to the Heat’s corner. She made the tag to Francesca before the two each grabbed a leg and yanked them apart into a wishbone that sent Nadia into a ball on her side. Davis moved around to see Nadia’s hands before Francesca quickly rolled her onto her back again. A few more stomps to the body landed before Garcia pulled the blonde into a brainbuster. The problem was the referee got a clear sight of Nadia’s hands before she landed on the mat, and immediately started reading Francesca the riot act as she asked about Nadia’s hands. Garcia told the referee that Alessandra did it.

Claire: I’m never playing poker with the Latina Heat - look at the straight face she’s keeping while telling the referee that bald faced monster of a lie.

Zack: They must think Davis is an idiot. Be that as it may,, it hasn’t helped Nadia yet because she’s still restrained whether the referee realizes it now or not.

Nadia began to get to her feet as the argument continued. Dani shouted at her partner to look. And when Frani did that, she caught a headbutt to the face from the Diamond Champion. It rocked her backwards as Nadia left her feet with a shotgun dropkick to the chest that put the challenger down. Davis shouted for a pair of scissors to be brought to the ring immediately. Beaulieu made it back to her feet, and tried to power out of the restraints and had no success with that, prompting Alessandra to wave her over to make the tag.

Zack: Nadia’s making do with what she has at her disposal. And those feet may be more lethal than her hands. I believe I’d take Alessandra’s suggestion right about now.

Claire: Francesca’s finding out first hand just how dangerous Nadia can be inside the ring and part of the reason why she’s a double Champion. But Beaulieu doesn’t have to be a hero and do it all herself, not when Esposito is begging to get in there.

Nadia headed towards her corner, but that didn’t last long before Dani entered the ring with a running high knee to the back of the blonde’s head. It dropped to her knees before both members of the Heat planted her head for a spike piledriver. Garcia finally left for her corner as Francesca hit the near side ropes for a knee drop to Nadia’s head. She rolled her onto her back to make the cover with the leg hooked….but Davis refused to count it with Nadia’s hands trapped. Garcia counted it herself to three, and got up to raise her hand. But the referee pulled it down….and then got shoved on her ass by the challenger.

Zack: Davis making a judgment call there, she wasn’t gonna count with Nadia tied up. And now the Heat may be looking at a disqualification if they keep this up!

Claire: Look, all credit to Davis for refusing to count…but you’ve got to admit the Heat have a pretty good argument here. They had the Champion’s shoulder pinned flat to the mat…though they could count themselves lucky to have not already been disqualified for using the zip ties.

Davis got back to her feet, and really started to give Frani a piece of her mind, threatening to disqualify her if she put her hands on her again. A member of the production team headed down the ramp with a pair of scissors finally, and it was Alessandra who took them and reached under the ropes to free her partner’s hands. She cut through the tape and the tie as Nadia got back to her feet. Dani shouted at her partner who was still arguing with the referee before she got spun around, and found Nadia waiting for her with big right hands upside her head. Beaulieu landed one haymaker after another before she sent Garcia across for the ride. The challenger rebounded into a spinebuster from Nadia before the blonde rubbed her wrists for a moment.

Zack: The Diamond Champion is free, and Francesca is reaping what she and her tag partner sowed moments ago! Arguing with the referee, much less shoving them around, rarely works.

Claire: Nadia’s pissed and she looks like she wants to take her pound of flesh right here, right now. I think the Heat might be wishing Latin America had voted for the Belles at this rate.

She dragged the brunette to her feet, and whipped her into the champions’ corner where she crashed chest first against the turnbuckles. Nadia charged in behind her with a backstabber that flipped her over to the mat before she sat up and made the tag to Alessandra. The former Future Shock Champion stepped inside as Nadia climbed up to the top rope. She was thrown off by her partner into a splash onto Francesca, and Nadia quickly rolled out of the ring as her partner made the cover.

Zack: Alessandra using her own partner for a rocket launcher, and the champions may not be far from a retention!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THR-NO.

Francesca got her shoulder up in time, and Alessandra was quickly back to her feet. Dani screamed at the referee that Alessandra was pulling hair in the cover. Davis gave Ruiz a look of disbelief.

Claire: Dani’s out here watching a different match to the rest of us but it doesn’t appear to be going any better for her than this one. This keeps up and Target Acquired will be getting their hands raised sooner than later.

Esposito pulled Frani to her feet and hoisted her over one shoulder. The former Future Shock Champion drove her back first into one corner….then into the next corner and finally a third before the final powerslam put her on the canvas. The Boston crowd was solidly behind Alessandra as she reached down to grab Frani’s legs under both arms.

Zack: Alessandra tried to put her through three corners and then the canvas, and we know what she has in mind here!

Claire: Frani’s going to feel like she’s been put in the dryer for a cycle! She doesn’t weigh all that much…you think Alessandra might go for a personal record here?

The fans got louder in anticipation of the giant swing before a steel chair was slid into the ring. Alessandra glanced up to see it was Dani who threw it, and let her partner go to grab it as Ruiz slid in after it. As soon as the champion lifted it up to throw it out of the ring, Ruiz caught her with a bicycle kick to the chair that hit her in the face and dropped Esposito where she stood. The referee was furious as Dani shoved the chair out of the ring and made the cover….but Davis refused to count again. This time, it was because Dani wasn’t the legal woman. Dani reached over and tagged her partner’s hand, but that didn’t suit the referee either.

Claire: The Latina Heat have certainly done their homework and learned all the old tricks while adding a couple of their own. But Davis is standing firm in her decisions and possibly turning herself into a tool of The Man and getting exploited in Dani’s eyes tonight.

Zack: The referee is more rooted in the rules this time. Dani isn’t the legal partner, and you can’t tag yourself into a match while you both are in the ring.

Dani quickly pulled Francesca over Alessandra and rolled out to the floor before Davis fell into position to count the fall….reluctantly.

Zack: She’s gonna count it after all!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NO.

The count never finished as a double stomp off the top rope from Nadia landed on Frani’s back, causing the brunette to shout in pain on impact. Davis went to get the Diamond Champion out of the ring before Alessandra started to sit up slowly.

Claire: At least Davis is being consistent in trying to get Nadia back to the apron and you’ve got to wonder while Dani was trying to get the referee to count, how much of that was just a ploy to give Nadia time to land that stomp?

Esposito made it back to her feet, and saw Francesca starting to do the same. With a scowl, Alessandra spun her around and hoisted her onto her shoulders. The fans came back to their feet again as they realized what was coming up!

Zack: I know what this is!! So does all of Boston!

With one swift move, Alessandra landed her F5 finisher that bounced Francesca off the mat in a heap. But as she turned around, Dani darted past her with a cutter while the referee was still trying to get Nadia out of the ring. Ruiz pulled her partner over Alessandra and spun the referee around to make the count!

Zack: Dani turned into the damn Flash right there! I didn’t even see her till it was too late…

Nadia tried to get in, but Dani intercepted her as the referee dropped into position.

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Davis called for the bell as Dani broke away from Nadia and started excitedly jumping up and down in the ring. She pulled her very dazed partner to her feet, telling her what happened though it looked like Francesca wasn’t still too clear at the moment.

Lexi: Your winners by pinfall………..AND NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEWW FFW Future Shock Tag Team Champions…………………….LATINA HEAT!!

Claire: By hook and by crook, the Latina Heat keep their streak going and will leave tonight with the Tag Team titles around their waists and great big bullseyes on their backs.

The referee reluctantly collected the tag titles, and offered them to the new champions. Dani quickly accepted them both, and also held up her partner till Francesca got her bearings and took the other one. The Boston crowd had nothing but boos for the new champions.

Zack: We gave the fans the power tonight, and now history has been made with new Future Shock Tag Champions in the form of Latina Heat! I’m not sure Francesca has realized it all yet, but Dani certainly has.

Claire: She pretty much has Dani to thank for the victory. And I’m absolutely certain that Target Acquired are going to want to run this one back and reclaim those titles - especially given the events of this contest tonight.

The pair raised their new titles overhead, still getting boos from the fans in the Future Shock Arena before the show went to a commercial break.

A Fan Just Like You

The live crowd is clearly heard showing a lot of love as the show returned from the break. The reason for that was standing in the ring: the Future Shock Director Adam Grant. The Boston crowd was very happy to see him as he took a microphone from Lexi.

Adam: Damn it, Boston! I’m glad to be home!

That got the fans to get even louder.

Zack: Adam ought to run for office in this city.

Adam: As much as I’ve enjoyed taking this show on the road all this year, I can’t tell you how thrilled I am to be back here in my adopted hometown of Boston, Massachusetts! Thank you for that. I got two things I want to talk about here and we’ll get the main event in the ring. First of all, two weeks form tonight is our Sin CIty Spectacular. And because I see the numbers everyday, I know you all know what to expect. You know the Anarchy Championship will headline that show for the first time in FFW history when Charlotte Harker and Ruby Tyler meet under Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal!

He listens to the crowd response before nodding his head and continuing.

Adam: You know it’s gonna be the return of Shaw after several months of rehabbing her knee when she faces Sydney Christensen. And that match has showstealer written all over it.You also know that. You know about the six woman tag between the Motor City Maidens and the Laurie Jane Experience and Serafina DeCaro. You know there’s a DIamond title shot on the line when Nessa Wall and Aviva Miller have their rubber match to settle it once and for all. And I know you know that Angelina and Alessandra are gonna light it up to see who challenges for the Future Shock Champion on the first show of the new year.

Zack: That’s gonna be one of the best cards this brand has put together for 2022, no doubt about it.

Adam: You can see it all on FFW All Access two weeks from tonight. But let me tell you one other thing. I want to talk about tonight. I want to talk about this show you all helped make possible. For 12 years now, FFW has had a little thing called Future Shock. It started out on the internet and was put together by my predecessor Cody Kincaid. You all made it grow. It became seasonal show. Because you all made it grow. THen it became a recurring show because you all made it grow. And look where we are right now!

Adam stepped out of the ring and hopped the barricade to go into the crowd, causing the fans to rally around him.

Adam; Here we are in the home of Future Shock. Here we are in Boston, Massachusetts! Here we are celebrating 12 years of spotlighting the best and the brightest both from this company and those who just drop by to visit. From Prospects to bonafide superstars. And it’s all because of those women in the back….and ALL OF YOU.

Security remained at the barricade watching as Adam started walking up the steps.

Adam: And I want you to know that i’m just like you. I’m a fan. I love sitting back there every Tuesday night and watching the roster that Bri and I put together do what they do best. I’m a fan just like you. I jump out of my seat when I see things I like out here, and I get aggravated when I see things I don’t like. I’m a fan just like you. When I board or step off a plane going to and from Boston, I’m just as excited as I’d be if I were buying a ticket to see the show. Why? I’m a fan just like you. This show was built on the support and love of fans just like you.

Adam had the crowd really going now.

Adam: You can ask my wife. There’s not a day that goes by that I’m not doing something on behalf of Future Shock. Sometimes I think it might get on her nerves, but she understands. And after all of you wer so supportive of me this past summer, I promise you that’s not going to change. I’ll continue working to make this the best wrestling show on television. So will Brianna. I’ll continue to try to give you a thousand reasons why you can’t miss a single second. The Sin CIty Spectacular is going to be a show I know you won’t forget. 2023 is going to be a year you won’t forget in Future Shock history. Because I’m a fan…

He held up the microphone as the crowd finished his sentence.

Fans: JUST LIKE YOU.

Adam: Thank you for 12 years! I wasn’t here for all of them, but I’m damn proud to have been here as long as I have. Thank you for making Future Shock what it’s become. And I give you my word….my hand up to God…

He raised his free hand over his head.

Adam: I’ll do everything in my power to make Future Shock even better. Why? Because I’m a fan…

Fans: JUST LIKE YOU.

The crowd started getting loud again, bringing a grin to Adam’s face.

Zack: I’m telling you he’d win an election, I think. Amen, Adam.

He stopped to take selfies with some of the crowd as the show went to a commercial break for Red Alert on November 19th on FFW All Access.

Title: Re: FFW Future Shock - Episode 125 (Throwback Show)

The show returns from the commercial break, and finds Lexi back in the ring for the final time tonight ready to begin the introductions.

Zack: This has been one wild night on Future Shock between that street fight and the tag title match we just saw. Now we’re about to give the fans a Pay Per View main event that they wanted to see.

Claire: We’re about to see two competitors right at the peak of the powers and with all the momentum behind them go one on one here in a Champion vs Champion main event. It’s been a scintillating prospect ever since the results of the poll were announced.

Lexi: The following contest is scheduled for one fall with TV time remaining, and it is a Champion versus Champion match!

As the intro of “Superstar” by 95 TurboSol blares into the arena, generating thunderous reaction from the crowd, a lightshow of blue and white lights ignites the stage area and ramp and flashes continuously across both areas, bearing a striking resemblance of a futuristic spaceship setting. At the same time, smoke emerges from the bottom of the stage and fills the area.

Then, as the song begins, Jacqui Minogue emerges through the smoke and stands on stage, her hands on her hips as she scans through the environment and eventually the ring while the crowd continues to shower her with their reaction.

Lexi: Making her way to the ring, representing The Matriarchy...weighing 140 pounds…from Melbourne, Australia…She is the reigning FFW Future Shock Champion “The Perfect Storm”…JACQUI MINOGUE!!!!!

Jacqui then comes down the ramp toward the ring with her arms extended outward and sporting a cocky demeanor. When she reaches the ringside area, she stands there taking in the atmosphere of the arena as the fans continue to show their reactions. She then climbs up the apron, wipes her feet on the apron, and enters the ring, Jacqui strides towards two opposite ring posts in where she climbs up and extends her arms out and then shortly shows off her trademark triangle hand signal, to represent her faction, all while looking on with a smirk and posing to the crowd with complete confidence. She’s taking in the atmosphere while the crowd reaction continues and the cameras flashing.

After going through her ritual, Jacqui climbs down and makes her way towards the corner to take off her jacket and then readies herself as she waits for her opponent to arrive.

Zack: Jacqui captured the Future Shock title at Unstoppable this past july, and that was her first title ever in Future Shock too. She’s match after match with Sydney Christensen to successfully retain it. And now, she could end up finding herself the #1 contender to another title….easier said than done though.

Claire: It was the only title Jacqui wanted, the one she has chased and believed was her right and her destiny to hold from the second she made her debut in Future Shock. She finally achieved that goal following her Global Wars victory. Tonight, though, she goes up against a woman who has had a year that even the industry’s very best would be jealous of. This is going to be another step up and another challenge for her to conquer.

The lights in the arena go off before a single purple spotlight hits the stage. As the opening bars of Wild Side by Cross My Heart Hope To Die starts to play Missy appears at the entrance way. Missy stands perfectly still, as her head stays bent, looking towards the ground and her manager Christian Kincaid walks out to stand behind her.

I've been on my best behavior
But I've heard that good girls finish last
And once you're gone they say no one can save you
But who knows if I go I may never want to ever come back
We've all fell victim to temptation
It seems that I'm the last one holding on
What's the use in fighting for my salvation
And why does it feel so damn right to want to be so wrong

At the side of Missy purple lights flash on and off, looking almost like fireworks, as she remains perfectly still. As the lights subside, Missy raises her title high up to the air and a single white spotlight accompanies the move.

I just wanna dance with the devil tonight
I wanna know what it feels like
I wanna close my eyes, put my hands in the sky
I wanna walk on the wild side

Lexi: Introducing at this time…. Hailing from Leeds, England, the reigning FFW Pure Champion … she is MIIIIISSSSSY!

Missy makes her way down the ramp to the ring keeping her eyes straight ahead, focussing on the ring, with Christian following a few steps behind. When she reaches the ring she slowly climbs the steel steps, surveying the crowd as she does until she reaches the top. She steps onto the apron and gives one final look around before she enters the ring between the top and middle rope. She raises the title in the air again, before leaning over the top rope to share a few last minute words with her manager as her theme music ends.

Zack: On the last episode of this show, Missy ended a five plus year drought of matches on Future Shock when she faced Sienna. She won that match, just like she has against Hall of Famers like Shaw and Scarlett Kincaid. I’m not a betting man, but if I was, I’d find it hard to bet against the Pure Champion.

Claire: It would be a very brave woman to bet against Missy. She’s been turning away Hall of Fame talent all year; she’s been undefeated since losing the FFW Championship to Kelly Kincaid and has shown that she can win matches in a multitude of different ways. I’m not sure if there’s anyone who can stop her in the form that she’s been over the last eleven months.

As Missy hands the Pure title to Christian, Jacqui hands her Future Shock Championship over to Lexi as she leaves the ring. There’s a loud buzz from the crowd as the two women approach each other in the center of the ring. Jacqui, being the taller of the two women, looks down on Missy and points over to where Lexi is sitting with her title on the desk. The Aussie tells Missy that she’ll never be a Future Shock Champion as long as she has the title.

Zack: Jacqui’s already talking some smack, Claire. I’m not sure I’d be throwing down a gauntlet like that, especially with Missy already in Global Wars next year and in the ring with her right now.

Claire: Not at all, you’re only going to fire her up and when you do that, we’ve seen Missy elevates her game to another level. Tonight she could book herself a shot at the Future Shock Championship.

Missy remained quiet, letting the Future Shock titleholder continue to talk. Jacqui informed Missy that she wasn’t going to win Global Wars. That she wasn’t going to ever challenge her for the Future Shock title, and tonight was going to be where the streak ended. Missy inhaled deeply as she took all this on board, but it only got worse when Jacqui went to slap her across the face. But the Brit caught her hand, allowing Jacqui to jam a thumb in her eye with the free hand. That’s when the Aussie started landing left hands to the side of her head to disorient her. Several chops backed Missy into the ropes before Minogue whipped her across for the ride. She went for a discus clothesline on the rebound, but the Pure Champion ducked it and stopped right behind her. When Minogue turned around, Missy shook her head and used a headbutt to her face to follow. She unloaded with a fast clip of right hands before executing a lungblower that sent Minogue rolling into the ropes.

Zack: All that trash talking did was exactly what you said, Claire. It just fired Missy up and pissed her off, and no doubt made her even more determined to be the Future Shock Champion next year!

Claire: Now Minogue is finding out why Missy has earned so much respect from her peers and why none of them enjoy facing her in the ring.

Minogue got to her feet, but Missy was already en route towards her with a running forearm to the side of her head. She was still holding her face where the headbutt landed, and Missy pulled her head down to drive knees into that same area repeatedly. It staggered the Aussie backwards a couple steps before Missy hit the near side ropes and came back with a running neckbreaker to put Minogue down. She quickly got back to her feet, watching as the Future Shock Champion was getting up again. And a left hook to the jaw dropped her back to a knee as Missy looked back to her manager, telling him that felt good.

Zack: Missy would get in trouble for throwing those punches in a Pure title match, but it’s not on the line… and she’s obviously missed throwing them!

Claire: She’s got excellent technique and you can see that they’re taking their toll on Jacqui in the early going. If Minogue can’t turn this around then she might find her title on the line against Missy sooner that later.

The Brit yanked her back to her feet, and hurled her into the corner. She followed in after her with a corner clothesline, and began unloading with more punches. It was almost as if she had been saving them up since becoming Pure Champion as a flurry of body punch combinations landed. She stepped back and landed a rising uppercut to the chin, sending Jacqui reeling before she pulled her out of the corner with a fireman’s carry slam.

Claire: That’s a big slam from Missy and she’s showing Jacqui that she has a number of weapons in her arsenal to beat her if needed.

Zack: That uppercut reminded me of playing Punch-Out back in the day, but Little Mac would never be a match for the Pure Champion.

Minogue started to rise again, and Missy was right on top of her with a running kneelift to the face that sent her backwards. The Brit charged towards her with a shotgun dropkick that nearly sent the Future Shock Champion through the ropes, and Missy made sure she went through them after a Superman punch to the jaw that sent her out to the apron and then the floor. Christian watched from around the corner with a grin, asking Jacqui if she was sure Missy could never take the title from her.

Claire: Jacqui might want to take full use of the count here. Plan A isn’t working at all…unless it was to get her ass kicked and lure Missy into a false sense of security.

Zack: I’d call it a genuine sense at this point. I think Plan A may have been to try intimidating Missy. Well…that never works, no matter who it is. I truly believe she’s fearless.

Jacqui pulled herself onto the apron, and Missy was quick to greet her. But the Pure Champion ended up getting her head snatched into a stun gun that saw Jacqui drop back to the floor. That choked the Brit up and caused her to start coughing before the Future Shock Champion slid back into the ring. A running high knee to the back of her head landed before Jacqui snatched her into a trio of rolling German suplexes. She reconfigured as she pulled her up for the fourth time, and planted Missy with a gutwrench suplex.

Zack: She might have heard you, Claire. Jacqui took the count as much as she needed, and now look at her. She’s got the Pure Champion down, she has to stay on her. I wouldn’t give Missy a second of respite if it were me.

Claire: No, we’ve seen what happens when you give Missy an opening and it was not at all good news for Jacqui. If she really wants to end the streak and shut the door on her, then she has to stay on top of her and smother her.

Missy was beginning to rise, and caught a forearm to the back of her head that sent her forward a couple steps. Jacqui shoved her chest first into the ropes, and connected with a kidney punch before snatching her arms into a cobra clutch. Minogue immediately pulled her away from the ropes and began shaking her body back and forth like a bear that caught a fish in its mouth.

Zack: The Future Shock Champion isn’t looking for a pinfall, she wants to put Missy to sleep with this cobra clutch. If she can get her down on the mat, it makes the job a lot easier.

Claire: Yes it would and that might well be for the best for her. After all, Missy is a highly skilled technical wrestler and more than capable of countering and reversing this hold if given the opportunity.

Jacqui continued to shake her before Missy was finally slumping forward a little as a result. The Brit tried moving forward, only for Jacqui to drag her backwards. Missy’s view obstructed so Christian could be heard shouting to her, “Go to your left…shortest distance to the ropes.” He said it a couple times before the Future Shock Champion told him to shut his mouth. Missy followed the guidance though and managed to turn to her left before she started trying to reach out for the ropes.

Claire: Christian is certainly earning his money and this shows that a good manager can be worth his weight in gold. And doesn’t have to bend or break the rules to be effective.

Zack: Absolutely right, Claire. There’s no rule or issue with talking to your client during a match. And that’s all he’s done so far, unlike several others you and I could name.

Missy took a step forward with her free arm out, trying to find the ropes. Christian moved around to that side of the ring with the Pure title in his hand, telling her how many steps more she needed. “3 big steps…c’mon, 3 big steps and you’re there!” Jacqui again told him to shut up, but he didn’t listen. Missy lunged forward and made two steps before extending her arm again. “1 more…1 more step forward. And you’re there!” The hold was taking serious effect at this point as it looked like Jacqui was holding her up. Minogue tried to step on the back of her leg to bring her down, and Missy stumbled forward and made it to the ropes as a result. Referee Jennifer Stringer demanded the break, which Jacqui gave at a four count as Missy slumped over the middle rope.

Claire: Missy made it and lives on this match thanks to Christian’s advice. That, though, might have only delayed the inevitable looking at the effect the hold has had on the Pure Champion.

Zack: She was in that hold for some time, and it never takes very long for the effects of it to start sinking in either. Sure, she’s in the ropes but there’s nothing stopping Jacqui from fixing that.

As Missy tried to pull herself together over the middle rope, Minogue took off for the far side and landed a leg drop across her back to strangle her over the rope. She yanked her up with another rear waistlock, this time using a German suplex into the corner that folded Missy up on the canvas when she landed. Her upper body lay against the bottom turnbuckle as Jacqui hit the ropes again, this time to connect with a running hip attack to the champion’s head. She dragged her away from the corner by the foot and dropped down to go for the cover.

Zack: Jacqui has knocked Missy for a loop with her offense, we may be about to see what I feel is an upset!

TWOO!!

T-NO.

Missy kicked out after the two landed, and Jacqui got back to her feet. She watched as the Pure Champion tried to get up to all fours before hammering her back with double ax handle blows. She finally pulled her head between her legs, and delivered a running turnbuckle powerbomb that crumpled Missy against the corner.

Claire: Jacqui’s using every part of the ring as a tag team partner at the moment and all Missy can do is go along for the ride here and hope she finds an opening to turn the tide.

The Pure Champion grabbed the ropes to pull herself to her feet before Jacqui caught her with a running clothesline that almost sent her to the floor. But Missy managed to land on her feet. And when Jacqui turned to see where she was, the Pure Champion surprised her by applying a tarantula in the ropes! The fans came to their feet as Missy had it locked in, but Stringer started counting before she let go at the last possible second. Minogue dropped to her knees in the ring. And Missy did the same on the apron.

Zack: That’s something I don’t recall ever seeing Missy use. But it got Jacqui off her for a moment, which is what she needed to try to get her marbles together.

Claire: Missy is certainly reaching deep into her bag of tricks to stay in this against the Future Shock Champion, showing off all the wrinkles that comes with all the years of experience she has in this business.

Jacqui was starting to rise first, but Missy wasn’t far behind her. The Pure Champion hopped up onto the top rope to catch the Aussie with a springboard blockbuster as she turned around. The fans came to their feet as she lunged across her for the cover!

Zack: A blockbuster off the rope, Jacqui never saw it coming!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THR-NO.

Jacqui’s shoulder came off the mat as the three was coming down. Missy rolled away from her and began to use the ropes to help her get back to her feet. The Boston crowd was entirely behind her as they chanted her name. When Missy spotted the Future Shock Champion on all fours, she bolted towards her to deliver her curb stomp!

Claire: You can see how much Jacqui has taken out of the Pure Champion. Missy knows it too and is looking to end this one!!

Missy then headed for the corner as fast as she could, which wasn’t all that fast at this rate. She started to climb towards the top rope. And when she got there and turned around, Jacqui was already up and hit the nearby ropes to cause Missy to straddle the turnbuckle when she lost her balance. The fans didn’t like that at all as Minogue tried to get herself together before climbing up with her to deliver a superplex! She rolled over and draped an arm across Missy’s body before Stringer made the count!

Zack: From stem to stern with those two shots, Jacqui’s gonna earn a Pure title shot!

ONE!!

TWOOOOOOOO!!!

THRE-NOOOO!

Missy’s shoulder came up again before the three, and Jacqui was starting to talk to herself angrily as she made it back to her feet. She started waving for the Pure Champion to get up, which Missy was in no particular hurry to do.

Claire: Jacqui thought she had it right there, but she’s learning the same lesson Kelly Kincaid, Shaw O’Neal, Crystal Hilton and Scarlett Kincaid all learned - Missy is a thousand times tougher than she looks.

Missy finally got to a vertical base as the referee was counting her down. Stringer had gotten to six before she was up, and Jacqui ducked her head down and scooped her onto her shoulders. The fans recognized that immediately as Jacqui reached up to grab Missy’s hand….but Missy countered with a reverse hurricanrana that spiked the Future Shock Champion on top of her head before they both collapsed to the mat.

Zack: Jacqui was looking for the FALL FROM GRACE…but Missy had seen that movie before and drove her into the mat. Now as slow as it is, we have a race to see who can get up first.

Claire: The referee knows that the fans want to see a winner tonight, they’re getting a lot of leeway and whoever makes it upright first will be in prime position to win tonight.

Both women began to show signs of life as Stringer got to seven. But it was Missy who was vertical first, but Jacqui was only a second behind her. As soon as the Future Shock Champion got her feet under her, Missy charged her with a knee to the body that doubled her over. She quickly grabbed one hand and yanked her forward into a bull hammer elbow that dropped Jacqui to the canvas.

Zack: I haven’t seen an elbow thrown like that since my wife did it! That could be the knockout shot Missy was needing, but she’s not going for the cover.

Claire: It might well be a knockout shot but I think Missy is showing the Future Shock Champion a whole lot of respect here and wants to make absolutely certain that she has the win in the bag here right now.

She watched for a few seconds as Jacqui once again began to stir on the canvas. The Pure Champion hit the ropes again, connecting with a second curb stomp to the back of Jacqui’s head. Missy stumbled towards the corner, and made her way up top for the second time in the match.

Zack: That’s usually the setup for the frog splash, but it didn’t work out well the last time she tried it. We’re about to find out how cognizant Jacqui is right now in a matter of seconds.

Claire: If Missy can land it, you have to believe that she’ll be just three seconds from victory tonight.

Missy finally got into position, and immediately came off the top rope with her frog splash. It landed perfectly on target, causing the brunette to bounce off the mat before she landed again and hooked both legs for the cover.

Zack: LI’L MISS MISCHIEF!! They don’t get up from that!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-What?!

Jacqui’s shoulder spasmed on the mat, and the referee waved off the count. Missy looked up to her as Jacqui still hadn’t moved hardly at all. The Pure Champion held up three fingers, but Stringer insisted it was only a two.

Claire: I’m not sure even Jacqui knows that happened there. It was pure instinct from her. She heard the three coming down and her shoulder just came up! Some things just can’t be taught.

Missy got back to her feet, and returned to the corner again. She made her way to the top rope a bit more quickly the third time, and came off with the frog splash again…except she kept her knees tucked when she landed! They both went crashing into Jacqui’s body before Missy hooked the leg for the cover!

Zack: Jesus….she kept her knees tucked! That’s as devastating as anything I’ve seen!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Stringer called for the bell that time as Christian was already heading up the ring steps. The British brunette got her hand raised as she sat up on her knees to a pop from the Boston crowd.

Lexi: Your winner by pinfall…………………MISSY!!!

Claire: A big win for Missy tonight. Her first chance against a Future Shock Champion and she picks up a win. Surely that’s got to put right in the hunt for a title shot against Jacqui Minogue!

Christian stepped through the ropes and immediately helped the brunette back to her feet. He shared a great deal of praise with her before returning the Pure Championship to her.

Zack: I’d think so too, Claire. If nothing else, this will cement her as a heavy favorite to win Global Wars next year! Tonight was put together by you, the fans! This was practically a Pay Per View, the next show will be! The SIn City Spectacular live from Vegas two weeks from tonight!

Claire: It could well make her entry into Global Wars redundant. Though, Jacqui did come close tonight to ending the streak. I’m sure she’ll have learned a lot from this match and next time, she’ll be a hole different challenge for Missy to overcome.

Zack: What a night it’s been! Congratulations to Future Shock on its 12 year anniversary! Thank you for joining us and helping make this show what it has become! We’ll see you in Sin CIty for Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal!

Missy placed her Pure title over her shoulder as the Boston crowd showed her nothing but love when Future Shock faded off the air to a commercial for the Sin City Spectacular.
