FFW Future Shock
Season Ten - Season Finale

The FFW logo flashes across the screen before we see the entrance ramp to the arena as it suddenly comes to life as “Let It Rock” by Kevin Rudolf begins to play. Suddenly the camera looks like it is circling around the ramp before we see Natalie and Willow standing back to back with their arms crossed before the camera makes another revolution. And there stands Sunny and Stephanie, looking at each other with a wide grin as Sunny bounces up and down. Another revolution finds both members of NHB loosening up side by side. A fourth revolution as we find Rebecka Hate giving her partner, Laura Steele, a very unamused look as she bows deeply to the camera. One final revolution finds Meteora and Stardust, with Meteora kneeling in front of her partner with her tongue sticking out as Stardust stands behind her with her arms outstretched. The sound of a roaring crowd drowns it all out before we fade on the Future Shock Season 10 logo.

We then cut to a live shot of the Alerus Center before we are taken inside as the theme plays. We see ladders set around the ring and up the ramp with a clipboard containing the FFW Unity Tag Team Championship contract hanging over the ring. A quick cut upstairs to a skybox in the facility shows a big screen television where a donkey stands on the floor and is shown munching carrots as the monitor plays. We then cut back down to the ring where the arena is mostly empty, and then to the broadcast booth set up with Mark and Misty awaiting.

Mark: In what has been one of the wildest and most unpredictable seasons in Future Shock history, we come to you once again here from the Alerus Center one night removed from Velocity where the grand finale of the tenth season takes place between Witches Brew and Rudo Galactica! I’m Mark Horton, and as I have throughout this season, am joined by Misty Whitmore.

Misty: You’ve got that right Mark, we’ve seen animals, loogies, and even a few well blurred pairs of knockers this season. And also a tremendous amount of animosity between these two teams. From the very start Witches Brew and Rudos didn’t like one another, and it’s just boiled and boiled since then.

Mark: That’s very true. And tonight, these two teams who have no loveloss for one another will compete in a ladder match where you see the Unity contract hanging over the ring. And they will also be competing for these.

The camera cuts to a table with a plush top on it, whereupon the Season 10 Future Shock Championships await the winners. White leather straps with gold and silver accents shine in the light as the camera goes from them back to the hosts.

Misty: This is it ladies and gentlemen. No more chances, no more challenges. Tonight is the night, it’s either Witches Brew or Rudos Galactica walking out with the win. And this is not just any match, just as this season has been chaotic from start to finish so will be the finale. Ladders...this is going to be all kinds of crazy.

Mark: And as you saw in the opening, the Rudos had something of a fit about the donkey, and as a result, he is upstairs...in a skybox away from the action here at ringside. The donkey....has a skybox.

Misty: Well, despite the argument Daniel Pollaski went on today I feel better for everyone...including the Donkey that it’s not at ringside. One misfortunate ladder and we have a terrible tragedy. Besides, all the carrots you can eat.

We watch now as the Rudos head down the ramp towards the ring, running towards it really before they slide under the bottom rope. Both of them point to the contract hanging overhead as Stardust gives a thumbs up and Meteora ducks down for her to sit on her shoulders. Meteora rises up as Stardust tries to grab the contract, though it is well out of reach though that doesn’t stop Stardust from trying to reach it before the opponents arrive.

Misty: Anyone surprised here? Nope? Me neither. But kudos to try and defy the laws of physics there...maybe if they brought a trampoline it could’ve helped.

Mark: The Rudos better get back to their feet before their opponents hit the ring, and uh oh....here they come!

Meteora yells up at Stardust as Steph and Sunny take off towards the ring at top speed. As soon as they slide under the ropes, referee Melinda Davis calls for the bell. Meteora drops Stardust down to her feet only for Sunny to catch her with a big lariat! And as Meteora raises her head, Steph taps her on the shoulder and decks her with a straight right cross to the jaw before she pounces on top of her and begins to rain right hands on her head. Meteora tries to cover up as Sunny catches Stardust with a pair of knees and then unloads with a flurry of kicks to the head and body. The Korean star grabs her arm and whips her in for the ride. Stardust crashes into the corner as Sunny takes off towards her, leaving her feet and using a monkey flip to send the Mexican sensation flying!

Mark: Good lord almighty! Steph and Sunny have been waiting on this for a long time, and by God, they are beating the holy hell out of the Rudos!

Misty: Well Steph had made the rather strong claim she and Sunny were going mask hunting. No doubt in my mind that they were one hundred percent serious. Witches Brew is on fire, and they are just letting Rudos have it!

Sunny delivered a legdrop across Stardust’s chest as Meteora managed to shake Stephanie off of her and roll back to her feet. Almost. Steph was on her again, catching her with a pair of forearms to the back before Sunny grabbed her arm and whipped her towards the ropes. Meteora rebounded and jumped over a ducked Sunny’s head into the waiting arms of Steph Dallins, who proceeded to deliver a spinebuster that drove Meteora into the mat.

Mark: A spinebuster with bad intentions written all over it! Witches Brew are absolutely dominant up to this point, and the Rudos are paying for all their crimes throughout this season!

Misty: And then some! Taking the wind out of the luchadora’s sails is a smart idea, then again I don’t think it’s tactics so much as revenge on Sunny and Steph’s minds right now. But beat them up all they want, the match will keep going until they get the prize.

Stardust rolled out to the floor to escape the melee as Steph told Sunny to go get her. The hyperactive beauty glanced to see where she was and took off for the far side ropes. She rebounded quickly and took off towards the other side and went for a baseball slide into Stardust. But the masked Mexican grabbed her feet as they crossed the bottom rope. Stardust jerked her out the rest of the way, causing Sunny to bounce the back of her head on the mat around the ring. But Stardust wasn’t done, beginning to turn herself into a circle and with a giant swing, she sent Sunny into the barricade! Steph took off towards the ropes, shaking her head before she dived to the floor and Stardust took off with Steph in hot pursuit!

Misty: And that, ladies and gentlemen, is a perfect example of why it’s called “high risk”. Stardust got Sunny before the speedster could get her, and Sunny paid for it. Her head must be ringing after those few hard drops on her skull.

Mark: No kidding, and we got a footrace on the floor! Stardust could have won the gold for the 100 meter dash in the Olympics! Look at this!

Stardust raced around the ring with Steph lagging only a few steps behind her. And as she rounded the corner, Steph was surprised when Meteora popped up from hiding and caught her with a shoulder tackle that drove her down to the floor around ringside. Meteora mounted her chest and began to return the favor from earlier and wailed with right hands on Steph as Stardust glanced down to see Sunny still on the floor. The blond grabbed one of the ladders set up around the corner and slid it into the ring. A cackle of glee, she lined it up under the contract and began to set it up.

Mark: And the Rudos are going for it already! Sunny’s down, and Steph got her lights dimmed thanks to Meteora! Stardust....she’s got a clear climb to the top!

Misty: Smart thinking on Rudos part there, divide and conquer.  Steph’s occupied, Sunny’s out of it...gotta say the Rudos could possibly have it. I feel dirty just saying that.

Meteora continued to pound on Steph on the floor as Stardust began her ascent. She got halfway up the ladder when she glanced down to see Sunny had made it back to the ring. Her eyes widened as the Korean beauty bounced off the near side ropes and ...dropkicked the ladder, causing it to teeter and wobble. Stardust hugged onto it as Sunny hit the ropes again and delivered another dropkick. Not finding enough power to knock it over, Stardust began to climb down as Sunny instead came up behind her, climbing the ladder beneath her. Stardust tried to kick her off but Sunny managed to get her head between her legs and then fall straight backwards into an electric chair that crashed the Rudo violently into the mat!

Misty: Sunny’s small size making it hard to knock over that ladder on her own, something I can relate to for sure. But she wasn’t out of options, and I’m sure Stardust will think twice before getting ahead of herself...maybe...well probably not.

Sunny rolled over on top of Stardust and began wildly swinging lefts and rights screaming at her!

Mark: FFW’s Korean export is PISSED!! And Stardust is getting bludgeoned with those big lefts and rights. Sunny hitting anything that moves! Witches Brew hasn’t tried to get up the ladder once, they want to hurt these two women!

As Sunny continued to unload on Stardust who had tried to cover her head, Meteora came back into the ring and grabbed her by the hair from behind. Sunny grabbed at her hands to get her to let go before Meteora drilled her with an inverted facebuster. She yelled at Stardust to get back up, but the blond was a little woozy for obvious reasons. Meteora delivered a few kicks to Sunny before dragging her into the center of the ring and resetting the ladder with her under one side of it to pin her down. Meteora cackled madly before she looked down to see Stardust beginning to stir and began her ascent up the ladder with Sunny trapped beneath it and trying to get free.

Mark: Sunny’s pinned under the ladder, and Meteora’s heading for the promised land! And Sunny’s not going anywhere right now!

Misty: Sad to say you’re right Mark, brilliant strategy by Meteora in trapping Sunny like that. Can’t get in the way if you can’t move. Not that I like it, but all is fair in these kind of matches.

As Meteora made it up the ladder about halfway, Steph rolled back into the ring and grabbed her by the foot to stop her ascent. The Rudo tried to kick her off and get her leg free but Steph refused to let go. Meteora finally managed to shake her foot free as Steph moved around under her and grabbed the bottom rung of the ladder. With gritted teeth, Steph began to lift that side of the ladder up as Meteora shook her head. And with one shove, the ladder was sent forward into the ropes, closed shut on impact and came straight back down on the mat with Meteora under it after Steph pulled Sunny out of harm’s way!

Misty: Absolutely amazing display of strength from Steph there! She may be short, but damn if that wasn’t terrifying! Lifting the ladder that much with Meteora still on it...that was insane!

Mark: It was like a domino effect, and Meteora got caught in a bad place right there! Steph is trying to help Sunny shake off the cobwebs, and the Brew are in control now!

Steph pulled the ladder up and drove it right back down into Meteora on the mat once and then again before Sunny used a baseball slide to send her into the ropes and down to the floor after the second one. Dallins began to set the ladder back up and told Sunny to climb as she stood guard on the mat, glancing over from Stardust to Meteora.

Mark: And now the Brew is going for the contract! Steph standing guard on the mat underneath her, this could work right here!

Misty: What a turn of events there. Rudos almost had it but Steph pulled the rug, or rather ladder, out from under them. Now Meteora is down, Stardust is out of it and the tables have turned on Rudos.

Meteora’s hand reached up to the ropes, starting to pull herself onto the apron as Steph made a beeline for her. She dragged her towards the corner and shoved her into it before unloading with right hands. Sunny glanced over to see Steph had cut Meteora off, and continued her climb as Stardust rose to her feet. The devious blond took stock of what was going on and grabbed Sunny’s feet, causing her to hit the rung of the ladder head first and collapse to the mat. She spat on her for good measure and took off towards the corner. As Steph was still firing shots, Stardust delivered a lungblower to her back to put her down. Meteora dropped to her knees in the corner as Stardust was now the only woman standing in the ring.

Misty: Didn’t I tell you this was going to be chaotic? In a flash we got the one woman who was seemingly out of it as the lone woman standing! Sunny’s down, Steph’s down and Meteora’s down.  This match is non-stop back and forth!

Mark: It’s everything we expected and a little bit more! Stardust has a choice to make here. Deliver more punishment or go for the ladder!

She headed towards the ladder quickly at that, setting it back up under the contract. Glancing around to see everyone was still down, she looked back up to the titles and started to climb. Steph rolled out to the floor, grabbing a second ladder before she shoved it into the ring. Still obviously in pain, she slid in after it and slowly got to her feet. Scooping it up, she screamed up at Stardust to get her attention. And as the blond looked down, Steph launched the ladder towards her like a lawn dart that connected, sending Stardust off the other ladder and crashing to the mat.

Mark: WHAT A SHOT! Steph used the ladder like a missile, and it hit the Rudo on target! Steph is a hoss!

Misty: I’ve seen some crazy feats of strength. April holding up multiple people, Penny and Chance tossing Deas back and forth like a toy...but I’ve never seen someone launch a ladder! That was...that was insane!!

Steph dragged the other set up ladder towards the ropes and began to set up the second ladder she had brought in on the other side like two bookends. She glanced to see Meteora starting to get up and shook her head before she folded the second ladder back up and then scooped up the first one onto her shoulders. And as Meteora began to rise, Steph began an airplane spin with the ladder on her shoulders. Meteora just ducked under it as it whirred over her head and delivered a drop toe hold that sent Steph throat first into the rung of the ladder, causing it to stand up for a moment as her throat crashed into it. Meteora pulled the ladder off and watched Steph drop to the mat, coughing violently as blood began to stain the mat.

Misty: Good god! Steph’s throat may have been crushed by that impact! Those ladders are unforgiving. You never want to be hit by one in the first place, let alone some place as vulnerable as your throat.

Mark: Steph was looking to take heads off with that ladder, but ended up doing more damage to herself! And Meteora seems very pleased with herself. But--hang on...

As Meteora admired her handiwork, Sunny rose to her feet. She glanced down with concern for her tag team partner and then to Meteora. Kyoun let out a shriek of rage before she took off like a whirling dervish towards Meteora with windmill-like rights and lefts. She whipped her in for the ride, and left her feet on the rebound to deliver a flying headscissors takedown that drove Meteora into the mat. Popping back to her feet, she screamed out again like a possessed woman as she bounced on her feet. She happened to look over her shoulder as Stardust had made it back to her feet.

Mark: Uh oh....I don’t know what the hell came over Sunny, but I wouldn’t want to be Stardust right now!

Misty: Sunny’s said it before and even I didn’t believe her. Behind all the smiles and bubbly happiness, she’s not someone to be taken lightly. She’s seen and experienced things some people never will, and I think she’s giving one hell of a reminder to Rudos about that right now. She is PISSED.

Sunny charged towards Stardust with those some windmill like shots, catching a few of them before the blond covered her head in the corner. Sunny continued to unload before Stardust dropped down and back body-dropped her over the top rope to the floor around ringside. The luchador glanced to see her already starting to get back up as she took off for the far side and ran straight back before diving through the top and middle rope with a Superman dive into Sunny on the floor. Both women hit hard, and Meteora had begun to get back up, seeing Steph still coughing and holding her throat.

Mark: I know Superman came out in theaters this past weekend, and maybe Stardust got inspired! And now Sunny and she are down on the floor, Meteora to her credit is back up again!

Misty: As a high flyer as well I gotta say that was a picture perfect superman dive. Sunny’s ribs have to be aching something fierce after that combination. And I gotta say Meteora is one tough cookie!

Meteora delivered a few stomps to Stephanie before she grabbed the ladder and reset it, with Steph underneath it this time. The bottom rung of the ladder was pressed into Steph’s abdomen as Meteora saw Sunny still on the floor with Stardust starting to get up. An evil cackle came forth and she began to climb up the the left side as Steph continued coughing on the mat, underneath the bottom rung!

Misty: I don’t like the sound of that laugh, Meteora is either going for that title...or she’s got something nasty on her mind. Either way it’s not looking good for Witches Brew right now.

Mark: And Sunny is still on the floor over here not far from us. Meteora has a free shot to the top right now! Wait a minute, what is she----

As Meteora slowly dragged herself up the ladder, Steph got her hands under the bottom rung. And with clenched teeth and her face turning a deep shade of red, Steph pushed up from underneath and began to lift the ladder up! Meteora glanced down in shock as Steph’s face grew even more red as she shot the ladder forward into the ropes, sending Meteora over the top of it and landing on the floor before the ladder lay against the ropes with Steph on the mat!

Misty: Ok, I think at this point nobody in their right mind should piss off Steph. SHE FLIPPED THE DAMN THING!!!

Mark: Scary freakish power shown by Stephanie Dallins! But I think that took everything out of her. She’s still gasping for air on the mat and hasn’t even managed to sit up yet! And we’re at a standstill here on Future Shock. I stand corrected, look who’s getting up!

The camera turned to see Stardust beginning to get back to her feet. She staggered forward and dropped back down to her knees in pain before trying to get up again. But as she got up, so too did Sunny behind her. Stardust rose to her feet as Sunny practically tiptoed up to her and caught her with a shining wizard to the back of the head that dropped her like a rock. And the high flyer of Witches Brew slid into the ring and set the ladder up!

Misty: And now Sunny is the one standing. These four women are leaving absolutely everything in the arena tonight. Blood, sweat and tears have been shed and here Sunny stands trying herself to get to the promised land, as you put it Mark.

Mark: From the start of this thing, it’s been like a wrecking ball that has been lobbed back and forth between these two teams! Shot after shot, I don’t see how any of them can even stand at this point!

Sunny crawled towards the ladder and began to make her way up slowly. Every step, she looked around to see where everyone was and seeing both members of the Rudos on the floor, she continued her ascent. From the floor, both Stardust and Meteora were down still as Meteora began shouting something that was nearly indistinguishable. She pounded her fist into the floor as she tried to sit up but collapsed back down, waving her arm.

Mark: What is Meteora saying? Is she speaking in tongues or something?

Misty: No idea Mark, she’s trying her damndest to get up but that last fall may have taken the last bit out of her. Though maybe she’s trying to say something to Stardust? No clue.

Sunny continued to slowly make her way up the ladder as Meteora barked something else out from the floor. Steph began to sit up on the mat, still coughing as she leaned against the ropes.

Mark: Meteora still trying to say something over there or do something, and good to see Steph is back up somewhat. Stardust is still holding the back of her head here in front of us!

Misty: Looks like the troops are stirring. Still no idea what Meteora’s saying, but Sunny is making her way up that ladder!

Sunny got over halfway up when a woman emerged from the entrance followed by several others right behind her. It was difficult to make out who it was before a fleet of women in nun habits headed towards the ring. Six of them descended all around, some pulling Steph out to the floor and unloading on her as others hit the ring and spiked Sunny into the mat. Standing halfway up the aisle was Trinity, clutching a Bible with a smile on her hands.

Mark: WAIT A DAMN MINUTE!!

Misty: WHAT THE HELL IS SHE DOING HERE?! This is a future shock match! She has no right to be here!

Two nuns helped Stardust to her feet along with her tag partner as Meteora rolled under the bottom rope. The nuns continued to assault both Steph and Sunny, one on the floor and one in the ring as Meteora began to drag herself up the ladder. As four of the nuns surrounded Steph ringside, she began to fire right hands in all directions like a tornado at anything that moved!

Mark: I know they are meeting at Unstoppable, but who the hell said they were welcome here tonight?! Trinity and these damn nuns are like a pack of wolves, and Steph is damn sure fighting them off!

Misty: This is total bull! She is RUINING this amazing match! Both teams have fought their hardest and all of a sudden she comes out to spit on this whole night! This is DISGUSTING!

Security poured out of the backstage area in droves towards the ring, trying to get Trinity’s followers away from the ring as Meteora continued her ascent. Sunny began kicking at the nuns, trying to get them away from her as Steph broke away from the pack and hit the ring. Meteora was at the top of the ladder as Steph began to shake it violently under her as Sunny tried to fight off the nuns with security trying to restrain them!

Misty: Steph’s fought through the masses and got into the ring! This match is still going on despite Trinity trying to ruin it! Get those “nuns” out of the ring and let these women have at it!

Mark: Sunny’s trying to get them off of her, and Steph’s looking to shake Meteora down! Absolute chaos here at Future Shock! We need more security!

The shaking wasn’t working as Steph moved around to the other side of the ladder, and clambered her way up to the top and began to unload blows into Meteora. The Rudo reached up and grabbed onto the ring holding the clipboard with both hands as the ladder wobbled beneath them! The fifteen foot steel ladder fell over as Steph reached up and grabbed the ring too as the two women dangled above the ring!

Mark: THOSE TWO ARE FIFTEEN FEET ABOVE THE RING! AND THE LADDER’S GONE!!

Misty: Steph and Meteora are hanging on for dear life! The nuns can’t help them now, it’s just up to these two! Both are gonna fall...and only one will have the clipboard!

Both women began to kick at each other with their feet as the ring holding the contract swayed slightly overhead. Security continued trying to get the nuns restrained as Melinda Davis joined them, trying to restore order! The fight over the ring continued as the harness swung back and forth before Steph headbutted Meteora, causing her to loosen her grip and fall to the canvas, managing to land on her feet somehow. She looked around for the ladder as Steph reached up and pulled the contract free and dropped to the mat!

Mark: THEY DID IT!! THEY DID IT!! WITCHES BREW HAS WON THE LADDER MATCH, RING THE BELL!!

Meteora descended on Steph and dropped a knee into her groin before jerking the contract out of her hands. Davis turned back to the ring and saw Meteora with the clipboard and called for the bell!

Mark: NOOOO!!!!

Misty: I...I can’t even...*BLEEP!*

Mark: Davis was trying to help security get these damn nuns out of here....and Meteora took the contract from her!

Meteora glanced over to Davis with a wide eyed look as though she were surprised too as the referee hit the ring and raised her hand in victory. Stardust slid in, looking around and trying to take stock of the situation herself when she realized what had happened before she and Meteora hugged and began jumping up and down in the ring.

Mark: I don’t believe this......I do not believe this! Witches Brew won this damn ladder match!! But Davis......for the love of God!

Misty: I honestly think I’m gonna be sick, this is...this is appalling! Steph landed with the damn clipboard IN HER HANDS! And Meteora snags it with a cheap shot and they steal it!?! Can we get a replay? A freeze frame? Anything?!

The nuns finally dispersed seeing their handiwork done, heading towards the back as Trinity looked on with a smile on her face.

Mark: That damn bitch caused all of this to happen! Trinity and those stupid nuns.... this is pure robbery! Grand theft larceny of the highest order!

The Rudos rolled out, grabbing the Future Shock tag titles and clutching them tightly as Stardust kissed the contract.

Cory: The winners of the match.....AND THE FUTURE SHOCK SEASON TEN CHAMPIONS....RUDO GALACTICA!!!

Mark: Bullshit! The Rudos stole this damn thing, thanks to their tag team partner come Unstoppable!

Misty: God I hope they get bloody vengeance at Unstoppable. Trinity and the Rudos have not only sullied this whole match, but the season in my opinion. This is total bullshit!

It was at this point when Cody Kincaid began to make his way towards the ring. He passed Trinity, who shot him an unhappy glare before he moved towards Melinda Davis and began a very tense conversation.

Misty: Cody seems to share our opinion on this, Mark. And Trinity seems none too happy to see him.

The camera tried to pick up on the conversation as Cody explained what had happened to the referee with Davis telling him she didn’t see it, and she can’t call what she doesn’t see.

Mark: Cody is telling her what happened, but Davis has a point. She can’t call what she doesn’t see, as much as it sickens me to say it.

Misty: Sad to say you’re right there. Even if all the fans here, you AND I saw it...it all comes down to the ref.

Cody shakes his head as he glances back to the Rudos, who taunt him and raise the championship belts over their heads. Cody moves towards them, shaking his head as the camera picks up what he says.

Cody: Congratulations, you are the Future Shock Season 10 Champions. You get the Unity tag title shots...... but so will the Witches Brew!

He stormed past them as the Rudos looked at one another, shrugging and hugging each other as they danced in place.

Misty: So he can’t reverse the decision, but Witches Brew get a title shot too?! Well...at least that’s something, eh Mark?

Mark: I think that’s fair, given what we saw here! The Rudos will go down as the Season Champions, but the Witches Brew deserve and will also get a shot at the Unity titles! I think that’s about the only fair way to do it...

Misty: Witches Brew truly won tonight, they may not feel it but we all saw it. They will no doubt be looking for revenge...and heaven help those three when Sunny, Steph, and Eileen get their hands on them.

Mark: I can’t wait for Unstoppable! That trios match just kicked into high gear here tonight! Ladies and gentlemen, the tenth season of Future Shock ends in massive controversy! The Rudos stole the titles, but both teams are going to get tag title shots! The wildest season I can remember ends in just as much of a wild fashion as it began!

Misty: You got that right, Mark. From start to finish it’s been nothing but a tornado of chaos. And that storm is far from over. I would have wished it to have ended on a higher note, but that’s the nature of the game. It was my pleasure to help host this season.

Mark: For Misty Whitmore, thank you for joining us for this titanic tenth season! Future Shock’s tenth season has come to a conclusion, and it will always be remembered as the most controversial finale I’ve ever seen! Good night from Grand Forks!

The Rudos look quite elated with themselves till Steph and Sunny roll out of the ring. The luchadoras take off up the ramp with their titles and the contract as Future Shock fades off the air.
