Femme Fatale Wrestling Presents A Future Shock Production FFW Future Shock All Star Season 21 - Episode Three March 1, 2016
The FFW logo appears on the screen as snow begins to fall around it. It disappears as we settle on a quiet suburban neighborhood, which apparently is all set up for Christmas. Lights line some of the roofs, illuminated reindeer sit in the front yards of a few homes, and then we see a small group of carolers walking up to one of the houses. One of them rings the doorbell as the family inside peers through the window while the dad answers the door before the group begins to sing.
As the camera pans down to the carolers (seven in all), they begin to sing “Silent Night” aloud with not the most harmonious unity. The carolers are Andi Takata, Chrysta, Kaylee Clarke, Shauna O’Connell, Tabatha Belmont, Samantha Tolson, and Kimberly Aries (who is wearing a Christmas themed lei around her neck). The family gathers at the door as they begin.
Silent night, holy night, all is calm, all is bright Round yon virgin Mother and Child, holy
Kaylee glances over to Tabatha on the word “virgin”, holding back a snicker as the stripper shoots her a dirty look while the rest continue to sing. Aries glances around and thumps the back of Samantha’s ear, causing the brunette to turn around to see Aries pointing at Chrysta. The Change of Heart member looks over to Kimberly, who is singing and acting as though nothing happened.
Silent night, holy night, shepherds quake at the sight, Glories stream from heaven afar, heavenly hosts sing
The mention of the heavens causes Andi to look up longingly at the sky before Shauna bumps her in the back of the head, and points to the family to get her focused on the singing. Andi’s face frowns in annoyance, glancing back to her again before Shauna turns her head back around again.
Silent night, holy night, Son of God, love's pure light,
Tabatha is still giving Kaylee a dirty look before the Canadian star turns back to the hymnal when Belmont thwacks her with it, taking her down to the snow and starting to unload. Andi has had enough of SHauna, and catches her with a back elbow to the head. Shauna fires back, while Samantha gets thumped on the ear again, and turns around in time to see Aries pulling her hand back. Tolson uses a double leg takedown on the Hawaiian as Chrysta backs away from the group as a full-on brawl erupts in the snow. It was at this point Zack and Mai arrive with headsets on, starting to call the action as if it were a show. The family slams the door shut as the brawl continues.
Zack: Tolson raining right hands right onto Aries, and Chrysta’s just watching it unfold!
Mai: What do you expect, Zack? Bitch had it coming!
Chrysta shakes her head as she looks up to the sky amidst the group melee, and there we see the Future Shock logo with the stars spelling All Star. From there, we head inside the Future Shock Center in Boston with a small but enthusiastic crowd awaiting as they see themselves on live television. The show cuts down to the booth, where we find Mark with an old friend.
Mark: On the heels of what was one of the most talked about events in FFW history at Chaos Theory, we welcome you back to Beantown here in Boston as the All Star season rolls on. And I am absolutely thrilled to be joined the rest of the season by my very good friend, Lyn Dallins! I know you’re always keeping up with what’s going on, and I wanted to get your reactions from what we saw just three nights ago at Chaos Theory. Cody Kincaid said at the top of the show that things were changing, and how prophetic was that?!
Lyn: He was entirely correct, no question in that. I’m pretty sure Alysson is going to change Desirae into deceased from living but that might not be exactly what we’re talking about here. Kinsey DeCaro has finally reached her goal of Evolution Champion, the sordid tale Sylvia Crowley and Destiny Campbell takes a new turn, Change of Heart were finally victorious, and I sense their rivalry with the BSX may only just be beginning and of course... Aimee Easter? Your new FFW Champion. Just to state a few things.
Mark: All that said, tonight it’s about Future Shock. We have a blackjack game to come with the All Stars, five remaining after Shauna and Tabatha got eliminated. But up first, Lyn, it’s the rematch as Katie Day meets Ashleigh Powell. The Chattanooga native can’t be 100% after her match at Chaos Theory, but given what happened last time these two met, something tells me Ashleigh has more than enough motivation to fill in the gaps physically tonight. Not to mention add to that knowledge that Alexander McIntyre has offered to stay in the back for this match tonight.
Lyn: Powell has all the tools and then some, and I believe even still with aches and pains? She is going to be looking to get the job done. Still, I admit I do have a preference for Day... If only because my ex-wife seems to silently writhe in agony like a vampire with Katie being the sun.
Mark: I’ve noticed that myself actually. Let’s send it up to the ring with Herbie, and get this match underway!

We find Herbie already standing by in the ring, looking quite happy as he listens to the fans in the Future Shock Center before he begins.
Herbie: The following contest is scheduled for one fall!
The next thing we see is the exuberant Katie Day heading towards the ring, hugging a few fans on her way and taking a selfie with one as well before she ascends the steps to go inside.
Herbie: Making her way to ringside, from San Francisco, California; IT’S KATIE DAY!
Mark: Katie Day has won over the hearts and minds of a lot of fans in FFW, but even she wasn’t happy about the way she won the match against Ashleigh in their last encounter.
Lyn: So tonight she has something to prove in that she didn’t need any quote unquote freak accident to put Ashleigh away.
Herbie: And her opponent….she hails from Chattanooga, Tennessee! Please welcome….ASHLEIGH POWELL!!!
The cameras aim towards the aisle to find Ashleigh, though she isn’t there. The crowd gives her quite the warm reception as they await her arrival, but still no Ashleigh.
Mark: I’m starting to have flashbacks to Chaos Theory now. Herbie, try it again!
Lyn: Once more with feeling...!
Herbie: And her opponent….she hails from Chattanooga, Tennessee! Please welcome….ASHLEIGH POWELL!!!
The cameras head just inside the entrance into the Center itself, and find a pair of trainers as they try to revive Ashleigh, who looks like she got attacked as she is leaned against the wall. They start to revive her as Adam comes into the scene. The brunette looks quite groggy as she starts to come to, as Adam checks with the trainers.
Mark: Are you kidding me? It looks like someone went after Ashleigh in the back, and literally knocked her unconscious! And given who I know is back there because he suggested to be put back there….
Lyn: ...You know the saying of having a guardian angel that follows you around?
Adam watched as the trainers helped her to her feet before Adam walked past them, and headed towards the aisle into the Center. He asks for Herbie’s microphone before he begins.
Adam: Someone...assaulted Ashleigh, as you can probably tell. She said she didn’t see who it was, they came from behind her is all she knows. I’ve asked her if she still wants to have this match, and she does. So what I am going to do is give her some time to get herself together and we’ll have the blackjack game now. And if who I think is responsible for this is actually responsible….
Adam shakes his head, clearly getting agitated as he hands the microphone back up to Herbie and heads to another part of the Center to take a seat at a mock blackjack table. We next see the five Future Shock All Stars heading towards the table out of the same place, glancing back where they see the trainers still helping Ashleigh before they all take a seat side by side.
Mark: Lyn, there’s just too many coincidences with all this. First, the turnbuckles last time. And this time with McIntyre wanting to be in the back…
Lyn: ...That’s what I’m getting at. I think Katie may have a guardian devil on the shoulder.
Mark: Adam’s trying to give Ashleigh a little time to recover, she said she wants the match. But this….this is getting out of hand.
Lyn: I don’t think she should really face Katie. Not in this case.
Mark: Let’s just go over to the blackjack table.

Adam takes a seat in front of the five women as they sit around the green felt table. Removing a fresh pack of cards from his pocket, he tears off the cellophane and opens them to pour out into his hand as he begins to shuffle them.
Mark: Adam’s gonna be the dealer tonight. As I was told, if someone goes over 21, they’re out. So in theory, we could get more than one elimination in the first hand. If someone hits 21, they win the hand. And we start again till only one remains. I’m also being told that trainers are trying to talk Powell out of competing right now. They say while they don’t think she has a concussion, that she’s also having a hard time focusing too.
Lyn: Kid’s a lionheart, that’s for damn sure but sometimes it’s a better way to get back to one hundred percent before you go throwing down again.
Adam continues to shuffle the cards before he starts dealing them out, one face up and one face down to each of the five women. The girls peek at their face down card for a moment, glancing to the others before Adam starts with Kaylee, who is showing a 8.
Adam: Hit or stay?
Kaylee: Hit.
He deals her another card face up, which turns out to be a 5 before she holds her hand up to stay. He nods his head and goes to Aries next, who is showing a 3.
Kimberly: Hit!
Another card lands, this one another 3 before she peers under her face down card again.
Kimberly: Hit!
A fourth card comes out of the deck and this one is a nine. Aries glances around, and shrugs her shoulders.
Kimberly: HIt!
Adam deals her a two before she decides to hold.
Lyn: So far so good for everyone here, Clarke at 13, Aries at 17... Very dangerous there.
Mark: If she got five cards without going over, she is going to win automatically, if I remember my rules for the game right. But apparently she’s good where she is, let’s see what Samantha does.
The next player up is Samantha Tolson, who gives Adam the sign to hit with a five showing. He deals her another card, this time a Jack before she holds up her hand to stop. The next would be Chrysta, who has an Ace showing. She glances over to the other girls, and shakes her head to Adam. And last to go was Andi, with the alien dressed like Zatanna from DC Comics, even wearing the top hat on her head. She has a 9 showing before telling Adam.
Andi: HIT ME!
He tosses her another card, which is another 9 before Andi’s eyes bug out and she tells him to stop. Adam then tells everyone to show their cards.
Kaylee flips her card over, showing her with an 8, 3, and 5 and giving her 16. Kimberly shows a 3, 3, 2, and Queen to give her 18. Samantha is next, showing a Jack, 5, and a 4 to give her 19. Chrysta flips her card to show an Ace and a 9 underneath to give her 19. And Andi flips her cards over to show 9, 2, and a King to give her...21!!
Adam: You should have just said blackjack there...but either way, Andi wins the hand and no eliminations.
Lyn: Well there you go. Everyone survives for now and we’ll see how this next hand goes.
Mark: Everyone playing pretty smart so far, but as we know, it’s the luck of the draw. There’s not much skill in this game, your fate lies in Adam’s deck.
Adam gathers all the cards back up and starts to shuffle again. He starts to deal once more, throwing cards for each of the women. He turns back to Kaylee to start, who has a 4 showing as she peers under the face down card.
Kaylee: Hit.
Adam tosses out another card, this time a King before she grumbles something and flips over the other card to show a Jack, which gives her 24.
Adam: Kaylee, thanks for playing. But you’re out.
Clarke heads to the back as Adam turns his attention to Kimberly Aries.
Mark: Kaylee had 14 before she took the hit, the cards weren’t in her favor as she racks up 24 and is out the rest of the game.
Lyn: That’s how the game goes unfortunately. I could tell you all about a story with me, Strike, Vegas and a Vegan from Amsterdam but you don’t wanna hear that one. Not child appropriate.
Aries is showing an 8 face up as she tells Adam to hit her again. He does so, giving her a 3. A quick glance under her face down card, and she says to hit again. And he does, this time a 4. She tells him to stop before he turns to Samantha with a Jack showing. Tolson seems to think about it for a moment before telling Adam to hit. He hands her another card, a 6. She curses under her breath before she flips over the other card, showing two sixes to go with her Jack and putting her at 22.
Lyn: Tough luck for Tolson there.
Adam: Thanks for playing, Samantha.
Tolson heads to the back as the three remaining girls move to sit together. Chrysta is next, showing a 10 in her hand before she peers over at the others and then tells Adam to hit. He doles out a five before she says to stay. And finally, Andi seems pretty pumped up at this point as she shows a 9. She glances over to Chrysta and Kimberly, then to Adam.
Andi: HIT ME!
Adam does as requested, giving Andi a 4 before she says to do it again. A 2.
Andi: HIT ME!
A 3. Andi peers at the underneath card one more time and decides to stay. Adam turns back to Kimberly. who flips to show an 8, 3, 4, and 4 to give her 19. He turns to Chrysta next, who flips over to show a 10, 5, and another 5 to put her at 20. He finally stops at Andi, who shows a 9, 2, 4, and a 3 to put her 18.
Adam: Everyone stays, round three, ladies!
Mark: Two of the girls are out, three remain. The cards were not in favor of Samantha or Kaylee this game. And I appreciate Andi’s outfit for this game.
Lyn: Lleps a stsac ehs epoh I.
Adam gathers all the cards again, reshuffles and starts sending them out to the girls. He begins with Kimberly, who is showing an Ace. She peers at the underneath card, seemingly giving it some serious thought for a moment as she stares at the deck in Adam’s hand.
Mark: She must be somewhere within striking distance, Lyn. Kimbo is thinking this one through carefully. Probably glad to be off her ankle that Kaylee tried to remove for her last show.
Lyn: If she hits and it turns into a big number, that Ace can go from an eleven to just a one. If she gets something smaller though...
Kimberly: ……..HIT!
Adam sends out a 9. And the Hawaiian shakes her head as she flips over the other card to show she has an Ace, 8, and 2 before a big cheesy grin comes across her face.
Mark: Well that’s 21 and Aries wins the hand. Hell of a poker face on the Hawaiian…
Lyn: It takes talent to be that stonefaced.
The game begins again as Adam reshuffles and deals again. This time, he decides to start with Andi, who has a 8 showing. She peers at the other card, and decides to stay. Chrysta goes next as she is showing a 10 in her hand. A quick glance of her under card and she stays. And back to Aries, who is still pretty pleased with herself as she is showing a 7. She tells Adam to hit, which he does and she gets a 5 to go with it. She peers at the face down card one last time, and tells him to do it again. Adam gives her another as she smacks the table with her hand and flips over the final card to show a 5, 7, and a Jack.
Mark: Lady Luck with her one hand, turned on her the next. Aries with 22 there and that’ll end her night. Lyn, we are down to two here.
Lyn: From ahead of the game to out of it. Them’s the breaks.
Adam; Thanks for playing, Kim.
The Hawaiian leaves the table as Adam looks to Andi, who is giving Chrysta a suspicious look with one eyebrow raised before she looks down at her cards. The card showing is a 9. She tells Adam she’s staying. On that, both women flip over their cards. Chrysta is showing a 10 and a Queen to give her 20. Andi is showing a 9 and a 10.
Adam: No one went over, next round!
Mark: Pretty close on both counts there, but we’re still at two. They met a few nights ago in the ring, and now here we are again with Tornado Tag champs past and present keeping the rivalry alive in blackjack.
Lyn: I’m sure for the two of them, the rivalry seems almost unending at this point.
Adam takes the cards and reshuffles before dealing once again. Chrysta is showing an 8 as she peers at her underneath card. A quick glance to Andi for a moment and then back to Adam.
Chrysta: Hit!
Adam deals her a 8, which causes the champion to snap her fingers before she flips over the other card to show she she has a pair of eights and a six. Andi thrusts her arms into the air with a silent “WOOHOO!!” before Adam shakes Chrysta’s hand.
Adam: You played great, champ. But….the winner tonight….ANDI TAKATA!!
Andi flipped over her cards showing just a 4 and a 7. Adam raised her hand with a smile as Takata removed her top hat to take a bow, only for a plush bunny rabbit to fall out. She quickly scooped it up as the fans gave her a warm reaction.
Mark: Andi didn’t even have to play that hand through before Chrysta knocked herself out. I think the champ had 14 before she went for the hit and made a big gamble that didn’t pay off.
Lyn: She tried her best, to say the least but that’s the way the cookie crumbles. That’s the way the chips fall. THAT’S THE WAY... Eh, I ran out of ‘em.
As Andi returned to the back with the other girls, we cut back to Mark & Lyn in the booth.
Mark: Congratulations to Andi Zatanna tonight. I understand the trainers are unable to talk Ashleigh Powell out of having this match, so...we’re going there for that next. But Lyn, I wanted to get your thoughts on the new wrinkle to the relaunch we saw at Chaos Theory, that being the Aspire Ring. I’ve not seen anything like that before in wrestling.
Lyn: In all honestly I’ve never heard or seen anything like it but wrestling... Well, wrestling is always needing new ideas I find, new concepts. The number of consecutive victories to get onto the main roster seems a bit high personally but perhaps that’s to say that if someone is really THAT good and still hasn’t been voted forward, that’s their chance.
Mark: For better or worse...let’s send it back to the ring. I’m not sure this is a wise idea, but Herbie’s standing by.

The cameras cut back to the ring as we find Katie Day heading towards it, greeting a few ringsiders as well before she ascends the steps to go inside.
Herbie: Making her way ringside, from San Francisco, California; IT’S KATIE DAY!
Mark: We’re gonna try this again, Katie doesn’t look as enthusiastic as before. I know she wouldn’t want anything like this to happen.
Lyn: No... No she wouldn’t. Though I wonder... No. No it’s nothing. Couldn’t be.
Herbie: And her opponent….she hails from Chattanooga, Tennessee! Please welcome….ASHLEIGH POWELL!!!
The fans give another warm reaction as Ashleigh makes her way towards the ring. She looks a bit worse for wear, but still takes time to greet a few fans before she gets into the ring with a somewhat stern look on her face as she looks across at Katie.
Mark: I understand the trainers asked her again and again if she wanted to do this tonight, but Powell’s a blue chipper and she came here to compete. I applaud that, even if it may not be in her best interests right now.
Lyn: She’ll make one of the tougher wrestlers in this new generation, I can tell you that much.
Referee Kevin Fisk asks Powell if she is sure she wants to do this, getting yet another nod of agreement out of the brunette before he calls for the bell. Ashleigh wastes no time as she makes a beeline for Katie, catching the blonde flush with a right cross to the jaw before she begins hammering home forearm shots to her head. It backs Katie up into the corner before Powell starts laying in knife edge chops across her chest before she whips her across for the ride. Day hits the far corner with velocity chest first before Powell comes in behind with a running clothesline to the back of her head that sends her back into the corner again. She hoists her up, delivering a big atomic drop that sends her into it a third time before Ashleigh snaps her arms around her waist and sends her overhead with a release German suplex. The fans respond well as the usually smiling Ashleigh looks anything but smiling now.
Mark: I think whatever happened to her in the back lit a fire under Ashleigh, and she’s taking the fight right to Katie! If McIntyre did this, he may have poked a bear here.
Lyn: Probably the very last thing he was wanting to do for his client if it was him and beautiful German at that.
As Katie started to try to get up, Ashleigh rebounded off the near side and caught her with a spinning back elbow to the jaw that sent her stumbling. The TN native grabbed her leg, and sent her flying a second time with a t-bone suplex. She quickly floated across for a cover, hooking Katie’s leg in the process before the referee moved into position.
Lyn: First pin of the match!
ONE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOO!!!
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Katie got her shoulder up after the two as Ashleigh got to her feet. She grabbed both of Katie’s feet under her arms and turned slightly before she fell backwards. Katie was catapulted back into the same turnbuckle a fourth time before Powell rolled to her feet. Day stumbled backwards out of the corner before Ashleigh ran past her, running up the corner and catching her with a back elbow to the jaw.
Mark: Ashleigh’s either pissed off, or she is trying to end this sooner than later or maybe both. Give her credit, she’s taking the fight right to Katie here, Lyn.
Lyn: I gave her credit. Hell, I’ll give her double credit! ...Nasty back elbow there as well.
The fans seemed divided between the two women as Ashleigh dragged Katie towards the corner. She sat her up against the turnbuckles before she went back to the opposite corner. A quick measuring followed before Powell took off towards her, looking for a basement dropkick. But Katie rolled out of the way and Ashleigh got nothing but air before she landed on the back of her head and began to clutch it tightly. Katie tried to pull herself together as Powell tried to get up finally. Day hit the far side ropes, connecting with a cartwheel into an elbow smash across the jaw that flattened Ashleigh to her knees. And Day dropped her the rest of the way with a DDT.
Mark: Ashleigh’s head has already taken a beating tonight, and that’s going to be her weakness. And Katie, all credit to her, is focusing in on that. I don’t know how many head shots Powell can take after everything she’s been through.
Lyn: That DDT would have knocked anyone for a loop at full health. Can’t imagine what sort of pain is racking Ashleigh right now.
Katie was still pretty wobbly after all she’d absorbed. But she rolled Ashleigh over, and hooked the far leg for the cover as the referee went to make the count.
ONE!!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
TH-NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Ashleigh rolled her shoulder just after the two as Katie started to get back to her feet. She bounced off the near side ropes, delivering a seated senton into Powell’s chest as she tried to sit up. Katie rolled back to her feet, clearing the cobwebs a bit more before she pulled Ashleigh up with her. She fired her across for the ride, and as she rebounded, Katie connected with a devastating roundhouse kick right to her head, Powell collapsed as if she had just been knocked out face down on the mat.
Mark: That….that roundhouse kick right to the skull, Lyn…. Ashleigh may be out cold right there! I’ve not seen someone drop quite like that before, and whatever damage her head suffered in the back..it’s only going to be exacerbated here.
Lyn: She ain’t getting up from that one! ... Fisk is checking on her there.
Fisk dropped down to see if Ashleigh was responsive at all, as the brunette barely moved as she began to stir. Katie headed for the ropes, glancing behind her and using the middle rope for a springboard into a Lionsault. It drove Ashleigh right back down into the canvas again just as she was moving slightly. Katie quickly rolled her over, hooking both legs this time for the cover.
Mark: That’s it...that’s gotta be it! I don’t think Powell knows where she is, Lyn.
ONE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NO!
Ashleigh kicked out instinctively as Katie rolled off the cover. The brunette’s eyes looked quite glassy as she tried to reach for the ropes, though they weren’t anywhere near her. Her hand waved as though the ropes were moving on her.
Lyn: I don’t know how she kicked out of that one and I have a feeling if we ask Ash later, she won’t be able to to answer either.
Mark: Powell’s reaching for the ropes, they aren’t even anywhere near her. She may be seeing things right now….. or seeing double at this rate.
Katie got back to her feet, watching her for a moment as Ashleigh reached for the ropes and tilted forward back onto the mat again. Fisk dropped down to ask her if she wanted to continue before she nodded her head, causing him to have a reluctant expression. Katie headed back to the corner again, climbing up to the top rope. Powell tried to push up to her feet, but she had a difficult time getting them under her as she stumbled around just to keep her balance. And as soon as she lifted up, Katie came off with a hurricanrana that drove Ashleigh head first back into the mat viciously.
Mark: You know, Lyn, I’m all for the spirit of competition. But there comes a point where you have to look out for the people in the ring because they won’t do it themselves. I think that’s where we are right now. Ashleigh’s head was just….planted into the canvas. We don’t know what happened to her in the back, but the referee has the discretion to stop this if he wants.
Lyn: She’s shown us more than how tough she is but this... This is too much.
Katie rolled Ashleigh onto her back for the cover as Fisk slid immediately into position to count the fall.
ONE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
He stopped his count when he noticed Ashleigh’s arm laying under the bottom rope. He waved it off, and pointed it out to Katie. The blonde glanced towards it and back to him as Ashleigh started to stir again and tried to roll away. But she ended up rolling off the apron and landing on the floor at ringside. The live crowd began to chant in favor of her a bit louder than Katie’s fans as Powell pushed up on her hands and knees, trying to grab the apron unsuccessfully more than once before she managed to get her hand on it. Meanwhile, the referee was counting her down in the ring.
Mark: Ashleigh Powell’s equilibrium is gone. The apron hasn’t moved, but it took her a good four tries before she could get her hand on it. Just count her out!
Lyn: C’mon Fisk, you can see the girl. She can’t do this!
Katie remained behind the referee, a look of concern on her face as well as Ashleigh pulled herself up slowly to her feet. She nearly fell over, but caught herself as she leaned against the apron and looked around with a vacant look in her eyes. She reached up more than once to grab the rope above her before she finally reached it and rolled back into the ring. Fisk asked Katie to stay back as he leaned down to check on the brunette.
Mark: If I’m the referee at this point, I’m not asking Ashleigh anymore. If she’s conscious, she’ll fight. But like I said, there’s a case to be made for protecting talent from themselves.
Lyn: Powell refuses to say die and whether Katie likes it or not, she’s going to have to go for the killshot and end it.
The referee tried to reason with her, but Powell only shook her head as she reached out for something only she was seeing. The referee looked back to Katie as Day headed for the top rope. Ashleigh rolled onto her back as she reached up again for something only she was seeing.
Mark: Katie’s going for the corkscrew, and Powell’s seeing things in front of her…
Lyn: ...Wait, a minute!
Day changed her mind as she hopped down off the corner, not wanting to do it with Ashleigh the way she was. She leaned down to grab her and pull her up, only for Ashleigh to surprise her with a jawbreaker seemingly out of nowhere. Katie stumbled backwards as Ashleigh looked around with her mouth open. Day stumbled towards her, bumping Ashleigh back a step before the brunette instinctually grabbed her head and delivered a sitout facebuster. The fans began to cheer loudly for the TN native as she still looked entirely out of it. She crawled towards the ropes, having a devil of a time getting her hand around one of them as Katie started to get up again.
Lyn: From out of nowhere and Ashleigh just puts herself RIGHT back in, from one shoulder jawbreaker to a facebuster right on the canvas!
Mark: This is all instinct, there’s no other way to explain it. I don’t think Ashleigh could tell you if she was in Boston or Beirut right now. Look at her reaching for the ropes again, she can’t get up on her own...and she can barely find them.
Lyn: I don’t even know how she’s conscious at this point and here comes Day again...
Day managed to get to her feet first as Ashleigh still had trouble trying to grab the middle rope. And when the blonde went to grab her, Ashleigh surprised her and rolled into a small package!
Mark: SMALL PACKAGE…
ONE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
Fisk called for the bell as Ashleigh’s body collapsed back to the mat. Fisk waved for some trainers as they headed out to the ring.
Herbie: The winner of this match…….ASHLEIGH POWELL!!
Mark: I think that was pure instinct right there, Powell doesn’t have a clue where she is right now. But she realized she was in a match, and surprised Katie...and the rest of us! And she needs attention right now.
Lyn: Well... There you go.
Katie started to pull herself together, still clearly surprised about it as well before she looked to the trainers. And she then immediately went to help them as they removed Ashleigh from the ring. They wrapped her arms around their shoulders and held her up as she looked completely vacant while she looked around the Center as they helped her to the back.
Mark: Look at that expression, she doesn’t even know she won. She hasn’t got a clue! All I know is whoever attacked her before this match started is the reason all of this has happened. Look at Katie, she doesn’t care about the match. She wants to help someone she likes, and all these people do too.
Lyn: Whoever attacked her didn’t accomplish whatever they were hoping for anyway but there’s Katie with a great show of sportsmanship.
The fans gave Ashleigh a standing ovation as she was helped towards the back with Katie right behind the trainers. From there, we cut back to Mark and Lyn who are watching them take her out before they look back to the camera.
Mark: I don’t think Ashleigh should have competed tonight, but she did and these fans in the Center are giving her a well deserved ovation. And nothing but credit to Katie, whose priorities are more about looking after someone than trying to capitalize on them.
Lyn: Maybe we can get to the bottom of this attack next.
Mark: I certainly hope so. Fans, everything is on you now. It’s time to head to the FFW site and vote for who should be eliminated after tonight’s blackjack contest. It’s been a helluva night here at Future Shock, I’ll tell you what. Cast your votes now, and Adam will be back next week to tell us what the next challenge is, and who’s leaving the All Star season. For Lyn Dallins, thank you for joining us and we’ll see you at Velocity! Hang on...I’m getting word on something
The show cuts to the back as we see Adam pull a Louisville slugger out an open trash can with a curious look on his face.
Lyn: ...The hell?
Mark: Is that what Powell got hit with earlier?!
The camera zooms in on the metal baseball bat before Future Shock fades off the air.
