Live from the Future Shock Center in Los Angeles, California!
July 26, 2016

“Jungle” by Jamie N Commons & the X Ambassadors begins to play as the FFW logo flashes across the screen before we see a woman striking a heavy bag with each of the drum beats in the song. With each strike, we see members of the inaugural class in action such as Katie Day coming off the top rope, Ashleigh Powell executing her senton bomb, O.E. and Lily-Rose going nose to nose, Carmen Gutierrez flying through the air, and finally Kassidy shaking the ropes and firing up the crowd.

The strikes on the heavy bag continue as each of the girls are shown before the arrival of several of the alumni roster. The new class turn to see Leah O’Quinn, Cereza, Bianca Salvador, Mel Avilo and Anna Giovanna step across from them. The class look at one another and then back to the Future Shock alumni as a couple of the girls crack their knuckles and look back to the ring sitting behind them. There they see Adam holding the ropes open for them before a lightning bolt strikes the screen and the Future Shock logo appears.

From there, we cut live inside the Future Shock Center as we hear quite a large throng of fans as they see themselves on international television. As the camera pans the facility to show the fans, it finally settles ringside where we find Zack and Linda Ragnal.

Zack: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to the City of Angels. We are just a mere four days away from what is sure to be the biggest night in FFW history at Unstoppable! But tonight, we’re going to make some history right here with a supersize edition of Future Shock.

Linda: Indeed we do, Zack! What better way to accompany the biggest event for the company than by putting on an equally extravagant edition of Future Shock!

Zack: We got a rematch from Future Shock Absolution as Kassidy meets Mel Avilo once again, but no Brianna Singer as the referee this time. This could be one of Kassidy’s final appearances tonight as she is part of the graduation poll we’ll be hearing the results of a bit later with Lily-Rose and Katie Day!

Linda: If that is the case for her then I hope she manages to go out with a bang! She already has one win over Mel due to a peculiar call by Brianna, let’s see if she can manage a more fair victory.

Zack: Also tonight, it’s going to be 2 on 2 volleyball as Carmen Gutierrez and Gillie Barnes in her debut meet Ji-Hu Myeong and Sophia Pike. And both those two ladies definitely made an impression on our last show.

Linda: Not exactly in the best of ways, seeing as Ji-Hu won by arachnophobia and Sophia stole the Aspire Ring...thank you again for that, production crew.

Zack: Also will have some tag team action as Anna Giovanna & Cara Stone meet Valentina Lozano & Kimmi Hate of Ascension. And to date, Ascension has been racking up the successes.

Linda: The only success I’ve seen them pull off is regaining the Future Shock title and ending Ashleigh Powell’s career. If anything I’d like to see Anna and Cara give them some comeuppance for what they did to Sara two weeks ago.

Zack: And in our main event, Cereza gets her prize after running the Aspire Ring gauntlet when she meets the reigning Future Shock Champion for the gold, Isis Morales! The last time these two met, Cereza was battered and bruised by the Titaness. But here we are about a year later, and that may not be the story tonight.

Linda: We are certainly seeing a different Cereza compared to that first encounter, Zack, a much more accomplished and driven woman that’s determined to be the first Aspire Ring bearer to cash in AND win the Future Shock title!

Zack: We also have a special guest in the house, Zoey Adler is live in the Center and we’ll be finding out what her role is going to be this Saturday night at Unstoppable 7!

Linda: I’ve seen her around Twitter. She’s...an interesting individual. Mostly posting pictures of herself rolled up naked in the fetal position...

Zack: Let’s send it up to Gaby for the opening match!

As we head up to the ring, there we find Gaby with her microphone listening to the crowd briefly before she begins.

Gaby: The opening contest of Future Shock is scheduled for one fall!

The Wildcat watches as Mel heads towards the ring, rolling under the bottom rope before she hops to her feet. A few to a few of the fans follows that as she warms up in the corner.

Gaby: Introducing first, she weighs in at 150 pounds, hailing from Rio De Janeiro, Brazil by way of Craigleith, MEL AVILO!

Zack: The last time we saw Mel in the ring, she was irate over what took place at Absolution. And while it’s pretty much her word against Bri’s, I imagine she’s happy to have this rematch with a full time official.

Linda: With Brianna not calling this fight I'd have to agree, there's a much higher chance things will end with less controversy to it.

The crowd really begins to buzz now.

Zack: They know who’s coming next!

And as soon as the orange-haired warrior emerges from the back, the crowd gets ultra loud as she runs in place and takes off towards the ring. She races around it instead at top speed before she pounds the mat and charges up the ringside steps. As soon as she enters, she immediately takes off and begins running the ropes as Gaby barely gets out of the way in time.

Gaby: Introducing...the Warrior That Time Forgot….KAAAAAASSSSSSSIDDDDDDDDDDYYYYYY!!!!

Zack: There is no one I have ever seen in this business like Kassidy! I’ve never seen a human being with the sheer energy level she has, and she is the most popular prospect in Future Shock!

Linda: This could also be Kassidy’s final match as part of Future Shock, so she'll really need to go out on a high note if that ends up being the case.

Referee Melinda Davis calls for the bell as Kassidy continues to run the ropes in a crisscross fashion, not apparent pattern other than wherever she feels like. Mel tries to stay out of the way for the most part before she reaches out to grab hold on her. But Kassidy blazes past her. And when the Season Five champion turns to face her, she gets caught with a flying shoulder block instead that puts her down. Kassidy immediately gets back to her feet, hitting the ropes again as Mel starts to get up...only to turn into another of those flying shoulder tackles that knocks her right back down. Avilo starts to get up again, only to catch a sling blade clothesline that drops her a third time before Kassidy lands with a standing splash to her body when she tries to sit up.

Zack: I’ll tell you what, Mel’s gonna be dodging shoulder blocks in her dreams as Kassidy just mows her down over and over again. I’m not entirely sure how you game plan for someone like this.

Linda: Kassidy has such a hyperactive personality to keep up with, but she isn't Unstoppable, either.

Kassidy pulls her opponent to her feet, only to put her back down with a hammerlock into a scoop slam. Mel tries to push up to her hands and knees, only for the warrior to execute a double stomp into her back to stop that. She pulls her up again, this time executing an atomic drop that sends Mel into the corner. And before she can turn around, Kassidy barrels in with a shoulder thrust into her lower back before beginning to drive them into her back repeatedly. After connecting with five of them, she snatches her up and delivers a snap suplex before nipping to her feet and starting to run in place again with the crowd solidly behind her.

Zack: Kassidy has done an outstanding job of targeting Mel’s back here. She may be unorthodox, but she knows what she’s doing!

Linda: And she has a lot of stamina to burn off, judging by the fact she's running in place the way she is.

Mel started to get up again before Kassidy spun her around, and sent her flying with a t-bone suplex. Avilo struck hard, only for the warrior to immediately follow up with a leaping elbow drop to her back. She jerked her back to her feet, and shoved her into the corner again. This time, she sat her on the top turnbuckle and climbed up with her. Letting out a cry, she snapped her arms around Mel’s waist and delivered a belly to belly to the canvas. She quickly grabbed the far leg for a cover as Davis dropped to count.

Linda: A devastating belly to belly superplex from the top corner! Kassidy capitalizes quickly on Mel before she can come to!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPE!

Mel got her shoulder up just after the two as Kassidy rolled her onto her stomach, and then began to drive her knee repeatedly into her lower back. Each shot made Mel grimace in pain before Kassidy popped to her feet. Another cry came from her as she headed for the corner, and began her ascent to the top rope.

Zack: Not often we see Kassidy perched up in the high rent district, and I’m not sure Mel knows she’s up there yet! But she’s about to find out!

Linda: Mel needs to realize where she is and fast, otherwise Kassidy’s high risk maneuver is going to pay off!

Kassidy came off the top with a flying elbow drop. But Mel proved Zack wrong when she rolled out of the way, causing the warrior to hit the canvas instead. Avilo’s face was in obvious pain as she sat up, clutching her lower back after the punishment it had been taking.

Zack: I stand corrected, but Mel has to follow up! She can’t give Kassidy an inch, as we have seen in her previous encounters!

Linda: It seems Mel could hear you all the way from over here, Zack, as she's going immediately onto the offensive!

The brunette got back to her feet, measuring Kassidy as she started to move and delivering a punt into her ribs. Another wince in pain because of her own back, Mel scooped her up into a front carry and began to drop her ribs across her knee before she lifted her up and did it again and again and again. Lifting her up once more, she took two steps forward and launched her with a fallaway slam. Before Kassidy could roll onto her back, Mel had already gotten up and measured for a diving headbutt into her back. She dragged Kassidy back towards the center of the ring, and applied a Boston crab.

Zack: It looks like they both have the same target, the back! And this Boston crab will certainly help Mel recover a bit from all the punishment she’s been taking.

Linda: Boston crab submission...somehow that might seem more apt if we still had the Future Shock shows in Boston...heh...

The Brazilian beauty leaned back, trying to get as much out of the hold as she could. The referee dropped down to ask Kassidy if she wanted to quit, only to get a loud “NAY!” from the warrior. Mel tried to cinch the hold in deeper, arching back even further at this point as the referee checked with Kassidy further. The orange haired warrior’s face was clearly in pain, but she gave the same answer as the first time before she began to crawl towards the ropes. Digging her fingers into the mat, Kassidy started to pull herself towards the ropes. And as soon as she got close, Mel stood up and dragged her back towards the center and sat right back down.

Linda: Kassidy came so close to breaking the hold, but Mel managed to muster the strength and keep the Celtic warrior out of reach!

Zack: She knows how this works, she’s faced her before. She has to isolate and dominate.

Kassidy let out another cry as she pressed her hands into the mat, and began to try to do what looked like a push up. Teeth gritted as sweat dripped from her face, the warrior pushed further and further and ended up sending Mel rolling forward as she straightened her legs out. Avilo only went a couple feet before she got right back up, and went to apply the hold again. But as she grabbed her legs, Kassidy brought her knees up and shot her backwards into the ropes and caught her stumbling forward into a drop toe hold. The crowd began to get behind the warrior as she started to crawl towards the ropes.

Zack: Kassidy powered out of that Boston crab, but it had to have taken a tremendous toll on her to do it. Mel better stop her sooner than later!

Linda: Kassidy’s legs are what keeps her going speedwise, so for Mel to do as much harm as she has been is a good strategy on her part!

Mel got her bearings and got back to her feet. She grabbed Kassidy around the waist, pulling her up and dropping her with a German suplex into a bridge! Davis slid right into position.

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

TH-NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Linda: A German Suplex bridge from Mel, but the warrior princess keeps the fight rolling!

Kassidy rolled her shoulder before the three came down as Mel sat up on her knees, trying to pull herself together. The warrior started for the ropes again as Mel was right behind her, scooping her up once more from behind. She looked to be going for another German suplex but Kassidy caught her with a back elbow to the side of the head. A second and third finally made her release it before the warrior spun around, and dropped her with a spinebuster. She rolled on top of her, looking for the cover as the referee made the count.

Linda: Mel makes an attempt for another German, but Kassidy’s a bit wiser this time and counters with a few elbows before hitting Avillo with a spinebuster!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THRE-NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Mel rolled her shoulder up before it fell back to the canvas. Kassidy got onto her hands and knees, reaching for the ropes before she began to crawl towards them. Men lay on the mat herself, trying to recover as quickly as she could while the warrior inched closer to the ropes.

Zack: Both of them have taken so much out of the other, and Kassidy’s almost to the ropes here. Linda, we know what happen when she gets there! And so does Mel!

Linda: I hope Mel can recover quickly, otherwise when Kassidy reaches the top she’s screwed, to put it lightly.

Mel began to stir, sitting up on the canvas in pain as she glanced around a moment to get her bearings. She happened to look to her left, and saw Kassidy wrap her hands around the bottom rope. Avilo cursed to herself as she got back up. Meanwhile, the bottom rope began to shake and the fans in the Center began to get louder.

Linda: Here it comes, the fans are gearing up...

The bottom rope shook before she grabbed the middle, causing it to shake violently as well as Kassidy was up to her knees. The fans in the Center were getting louder still as the warrior grabbed the top rope and began to rise to her feet. Mel came in from behind, burying a knee into her ribs and a second and a third, all to no effect. Kassidy shook the top rope, starting to scream as Mel measured shots into her back and kidneys.

Zack: NOTHING! I’ve seen this a dozen times, and it never ceases to amaze me! Mel is unloading those shots, and the Warrior That Time Forgot can’t feel a damn thing!

Linda: It's a frightening realization for Mel when Kassidy takes all she dishes and shows no signs of pain!

Kassidy began to run in place as Mel continued to drive shots into her back until she tried punching her in the mouth. That got a reaction as Kassidy turned towards her, screaming into her face before she fired back with three shots of her own that rocked Mel backwards. She fired her across into the ropes, and mowed her down with a clothesline. Avilo got back up, only to catch another clothesline. A third time she hopped up as Kassidy hit the ropes and flipped her with a lariat! The crowd came to its feet as Kassidy began to run in place.

Zack: What do you do?! What do you do with someone who seems to have boundless energy, who can hit that next gear in the blink of an eye?! Before the night is over, this woman could be unleashed on the FFW roster!

Linda: She just about turned Mel inside out, and nothing is slowing the warrior down!

Mel started to get back up, only for Kassidy to help her the rest of the way until she was holding her high overhead. The warrior began to use a military press, lifting Mel over and over before she launched her with a massive slam to the canvas. Kassidy began to run in place again, pounding her chest with both fists while Mel scrambled to get to her feet. The warrior planted her head, and delivered a turnbuckle powerbomb before letting out a cry that ignited the crowd all over again.

Linda: I’ll admit Kassidy knows how to get the crowd hyped up! In fact I think I’m feeling it rub off on myself! YEAH! LET’S GO KASS!

Zack: There goes Linda getting behind this crowd who is solidly behind the Warrior that Time Forgot, Kassidy is on fire!

Mel lay against the corner, holding the back of her head as she tried to crawl in the other direction finally. Kassidy moved in behind her, leaning down to grab her arm for the crossface!

Zack: Gallowglass Ripper coming up!

As soon as Kassidy leaned down, Mel surprised her with an inside cradle that pulled her forward. Davis dropped to count.

Zack: INSIDE CRADLE!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

Davis called for the bell as Kassidy broke the cradle finally and sat up in shock. Mel lay on the canvas, gasping for breath as the warrior looked over to see the official raising Mel’s arm!

Linda: How about that?! Mel played possum on Kassidy and it paid off in the end!

Zack: That’s some veteran instincts right there, Mel used her in-ring experience to her advantage very well!

Mel began to sit up as well as Kassidy was a little bewildered until she realized what ha happened, and offered her hand to Mel after they were both sitting up. And Mel took it with a handshake.

Gaby: Here is your winner….MEL AVILO!!!

Zack: Mel surprised the hell out of Kassidy...and a lot of us here at the Center! The Season Five Champion snatched victory from the jaws of defeat here in LA, and Kassidy showing a lot of sportsmanship as a result.

Linda: This match ended on a positive note, and with a bit of respect, but...well now, look who it is.

The warrior rolled out of the ring, greeting a few of the fans as Brianna Singer began to head towards the ring.

Linda: The match is over and Mel looks like she’s ready to cool off, but Brianna seems to want her to hold off on those plans.

The redhead stepped into the ring as Kassidy watched her from the floor with a suspicious look as Singer discussed something with the referee. Mel started to get back to her feet before she spun Brianna around, asking her what she was doing here.

Zack: I don’t think Mel wants to see Brianna again in life, much less tonight. I’m not sure what the Executive Assistant is even doing out here!

Linda: I could only guess that Ms. Singer is out here to clear the air between her and Mel, although the look on Mel’s face screams out ‘bloody murder’.

The two exchanged words as Mel started walking her backwards into the ropes, the Brazilian getting angrier by the second as Bri held up her hands and stepped out onto the apron. Bri shook her head, and slapped Mel across the face! The Brazilian roared and lunged at her before she hopped off the apron. Kassidy rolled back into the ring as Mel tried to go out after her, causing the warrior to try to restrain her. Bri looked up at her, asking her if she accepted her challenge now. And Mel shouted “DAMN RIGHT!” This brought a huge grin to Bri’s face.

Zack: That’s what this is about, she just goaded Mel into a match with who knows what kind of stipulations!

Linda: Keep in mind that Brianna wasn’t willing to disclose the stipulations until Mel agreed to the match! Well Brianna just made her agree to whatever those terms are!

Kassidy tried to restrain her friend as Bri nodded in approval before she headed backwards up the ramp to make sure Mel didn’t come after her.

Linda: It’s official as of tonight, these two women will be seeing one another in a match, and whatever Brianna has in store...it CAN’T be good!

Zack: I have a bad feeling about this! What has Mel Avilo just signed up for?!

The wide grin of the Executive Assistant is seen as Future Shock takes its first commercial break.

The next image we see has “Recorded Earlier Today..” across the top of the screen, and there we set upon the beach. More than a few people are gathered around in the background as we see the volleyball net set up as the two teams in tonight’s game discuss a little strategy. Sophia is wearing a simple black bikini, Ji-Hu in spandex, while Carmen also wears a bikini with Gillie wearing a swimsuit straight out of the 1920s.

Zack: Welcome back. And as you can see, we’re about to have our volleyball challenge. After watching the videos these girls showed us on the FFW website, Linda, I think it’s safe to say they all prepared in their own ways for this match tonight.

Linda: Everyone certainly has a unique look for this game, of special note is Gillie’s old fashioned swimsuit that I don’t think has been worn in over 100 years.

Zack: I think you’d win that bet. The rules are pretty simple, folks. First team to 3 points wins the match. We know Sophia may be the pro here of the four, and saw Gillie training with UCLA. Carmen employed some help as well, and Ji-Hu….well her manager was more interested in wearing fetish attire.

Linda: I’m just going to block that whole scene from my mind and move on to this game.

The referee asks both teams if they are ready to go before tossing the ball to Sophia Pike to start, whom goes back a couple steps to serve.

Zack: There was a coin toss earlier, which saw Sophia & Ji-Hu’s team win and they chose to serve than receive. Linda, who are you pulling for?

Linda: Honestly after Sophia stole the Aspire Ring two weeks ago I’m hoping Carmen and Gillie spike the hell out of that ball.

Sophia serves it up, and sends it flying across the net with ease. But Carmen shows she is more than ready as she leaves her feet and ires it right back. Ji-Hu dodges out of the way when the ball almost hits her as Sophia has to come across and ire it back. Gillie returns fire with a shot of her own, causing Sophia to dodge across to the other side and send it back. She glares at Ji-Hu for a moment as Gillie hits it again. Ji-Hu darts past Sophia and goes to fire it back, but her height makes that slightly difficult as she connects with the ball but it doesn’t clear the net and lands on her team’s side. The referee calls one point for Carmen & Gillie, who high five each other.

Linda: Hm...I don’t think Ji-Hu is really meant to try and shoot the ball over the net that way.

Zack: Probably not, and Carmen & Gillie are on the board. They just need two more points to end this. Ji-Hu and Sophia aren’t having the best chemistry.

This time, Gillie and Carmen get the ball. And Carmen chooses to serve before she fires it across with a very strong serve. It clears the net easily as Sophia strikes it back with a hard shot that goes back over the net. Gillie guards the front as Carmen moves in to strike the ball right back behind her. The ball sails over Sophia’s head as she darts back to get it, only for Ji-Hu to strike it...but just not far enough as Sophia nearly dives to keep it from hitting the ground before she sends it back over the net. Carmen watches the ball sail through the air before Gillie jumps into the air, and hammers it down just over the other side before Sophia has a chance to get to it. And when the ball hits the ground, Gillie & Carmen make it two points. The girls celebrate as Sophia starts giving Ji-Hu a piece of her mind.

Linda: It’s already 2-0 in favor of Gillie and Carmen, and while Sophia and Ji-Hu still have a chance to catch up, well, with how they’re acting it doesn’t look good.

Zack: Ji-Hu didn’t have much confidence in her ability to play this game, and clearly that was well founded. Let’s see if they can serve a shut out here, and--

As the game was about to restart, the cameras caught Max Sato approaching the official before he went to Ji-Hu, offering her a small bat. Kumiho looked at him and him with disdain before the referee took the bat away and told Max to leave the court.

Linda: ...Really? This is where we are now? I might need some ginger ale after this game...

Sophia gives her partner a shove as the other team gets to serve again. Ji-Hu shoots her a harsh glare before the ball comes sailing in their direction. Myeong charges the net, and leaves her feet to HAMMER that ball right back across at them. Carmen barely gets there in time to pop it back into the air, with Gillie underneath it to send it over with a headbutt. The ball barely clears the net as Ji-Hu manages to poke a finger into Gillie’s eye as she was close to the net. And Sophia fired it right back across before Carmen could save it this time. The referee gave Ji-Hu & Sophia a point.

Zack: Sophia apparently just needed to fire her partner up out there, and Ji-Hu doesn’t need a bat after all. Plus I don’t think they are legal.

Linda: Not to mention poking at the other team’s eye sockets. Still Ji-Hu and Sophia are on the board at least.

Sophia gave her partner some credit there, asking her if she wanted to serve. Myeong said no till Pike slapped her upside the back of her head, and it pissed her off again before she served it with some power! The ball flew right across, and Carmen returned fire in the backfield. Sophia dove forward, and struck it back to them. Gillie caught it this time with an underhand double strike with both hands that popped it back over the net. Pike turned as it went over her head, and Ji-Hu charged her to fire it right back....with a downward strike that seemed aimed for Gillie’s face. Barnes barely popped it back over instead of getting struck as Sophia left her feet next, and struck it right back down to the ground a second before Carmen could get to it.

Zack: I tell you what. If you get Ji-Hu fired up, she’s got some fire in her! And that is the first point they scored that didn’t involve someone taking advantage of the rules or the referee looking at the ball and not the players.

Linda: The score’s tied up at 2-2 thanks to that, and it’s game point!

The game was about to restart when Max returned to the court, running towards Ji-Hu and scooping her up as he danced around in celebration. The referee went to get him again, letting him know the game wasn’t over yet as Ji-Hu open hand slapped him across the face with a loud smack. Max screamed at the referee for imperialist scoring and called him a honky before he was escorted off the court again.

Linda: Isn’t it sad to realize that we breathe the same air as Max, Zack?

Zack: I think he believes it has something to do with the referee being a white American as to why Ji-Hu and Sophia haven’t already won. We do have a tie game here!

Linda: That we do, and now that Max is out of the way we can continue with things as a normal volleyball match can...at least when it comes to wrestlers.

Ji-Hu got to serve again this time, clearly more angry than when she started. She fired the ball across, causing Gillie to return it with equal fervor. Sophia struck it back, with Gillie doing the same again. Ji-Hu charged the net, firing it back across to the other side. Carmen nailed it this time, with Sophia returning fire as both teams were having quite the round as the ball passed back and forth with the tempo of the game picking up. The game was suspended, however, when the ball was sent of court to the side behind the referee. The official declared no point, and gave the ball back to Sophia.

Zack: You have to hit it on the court, not off the court. That shot didn’t count. I think they are getting into this game a little better, and we’re still all tied up.

Linda: Still anyone’s game, and it could go either way. Both teams are heated up, and determined to get that last point.

As Sophia moved into position to serve with the camera behind her, Max cheered on the girls. And when she served it across, Max’s board shorts fell to his ankles as quite a few onlookers, including Carmen & Gillie, saw a side of Max no one ever wanted to see. The ball fell on the other side of the court as the girls looked on in disgust before they realized what happened. Max pulled his shorts up when the referee gave his team the point as Ji-Hu covered her face.

Linda: ...Well, Ji-Hu and Sophia win, and I’m going to go blind. Again.

Zack: I’m glad the camera was behind Sophia, I don’t ever want to see any alternate angles on that shot.

The referee raised both girls’ hands as Sophia seemed happy with it, even if Ji-Hu didn’t before she superkicked her manager into the sand. Carmen & Gillie both were quite disgusted still at what they had seen, not to mention many of the people watching on the sidelines.

Zack: I’m going to make a suggestion for the future here. Any future challenges Ji-Hu competes in, Max Sato be barred from the area. I may start a petition.

Linda: Or, at the very least, he be forced to wear an iron suit and a strait jacket. Although even then I’m sure he’d find his way out of it.

Zack: Well either way, Ji-Hu & Sophia have picked up the win here. Sophia STILL has the Aspire Ring, which she needs to return. I understand Sophia will be in action on the next Future Shock, so maybe her opponent can retrieve it then!

Linda: One can only hope. I’d actually ask why nobody’s tried to retrieve it from her now, but I’m guessing that question will go unanswered.

The show cuts to a commercial break from there.

Deeeep Into Unstoppable

Future Shock heads to the back, and there we find the Director watching the show with a very special guest, who gets a very warm reaction from the fans in the Center as they see her on the monitor. Adam turns his attention to the brunette.

Adam: Zoey, I can’t tell you how happy I was to see you showed up clothed. I’ve seen enough pictures on Twitter that reminds me of America’s crack problem.

He said this with a wry smile as he looked across to one Zoey Adler.

Banter, was it?... She quirks a brow and brushes the wrinkles out of her black R.E.M shirt before giving him an awkward smile, her eyes fixate upon him despite desperately wanting to roam about the staging area as she responds with a friendly tone

Zoey: “I feel a bit over dressed… I even wore pants and everything”

The cameras pan out to get a view of her blue jeans before panning back in close as she continues

Zoey: “It’s good to be back in Los Angeles and visiting the Future Shock Center for the first time. I actually spent the majority of my career working just up the road for another promotion”

Her father’s federation, the WCWF – he still has promotional rights to her “brand” and is getting a stipend from this appearance. The last thing she wants to do at this point is promote his brand when she’s here to take in the Future Shock show and escape the trawls of that “other life”

Zoey: “You guys really have one heck of a facility here. I can see why you turn out such events, and why the fans who show up are as loyal and dedicated as any in the business”

Adam: We do our best, and I’m glad you’re here. You have a lot of fans that you probably didn’t even know about. I know when I announced you were going to be here, I got retweeted and Likes out the wazoo. And I’m happy to have you here with me for our developmental show. You are ALWAYS welcome here anytime, crack showing or not. Not to mention you’ll be at our biggest show of the year this Saturday.

Zoey: “Whoa, whoa, whoa… Fans?”

They both look upwards with pantomime disbelief as the crowd gives a pop. Their cheers echo through the building and can easily be heard from the interview area

Zoey: “Deeeep”

Again they cheer as Adam and Zoey turn their gaze back upon each other. She smiles and adjusts her glasses; it was nice to actually get love from a fan base for a change. It was a nice change from being jeered and having debris and projectiles heaved upon her from all directions. But that was neither here, nor there
Zoey: “I’m pretty excited to be hosting the supershow, but let’s be serious… We still have to get through tonight, and we both know that the main event between Isis and Cereza for the Future Shock Championship is going to break the decibel charts in this place. I mean seriously, it sounds more like a clash of gods then a championship match”

Adam: You got the best seat in the house. But Saturday, you are going to be the official host for Unstoppable 7. You are in charge of covering any major breaking stories, of which I’m sure there will be some. If you want, I’ll get you a brimmed hat that says “PRESS” on the side. There’s going to be a lot going on, so you think you can handle it?

Zoey: “I’m uh… I’m gonna do it, yeah”

She nods with a smile

Zoey: “TMZ is on notice. They’re going to take a back seat at Unstoppable 7…  I’ll be the one with the breaking news. We’re talking backstage happenings, championship’s maybe changing hands, all the hype man. Like all of it”

Zoey bristles with an assertive tone that still airs on the side of playful

Zoey: “Speaking about championship’s changing hands… Who you got tonight in the Main Event?”

Adam: Not that I don’t believe in Cereza, but when the champion has only one loss in almost a year since she joined FFW, it’s hard to discount her. Facts are hard to argue, but Cereza earned this and I’m sure she will leave everything she has in the ring to win.

Zoey: “It’s going to be a real hell fire kinda match. I’ve been in a few of these where it’s almost more than just a championship on the line. Cereza is as tough as they come, and is full of heart… But Morales is the champion, and as we both know… It’s harder to win the title, than it is to retain it. So I say Isis retains after a brutal one”

Adam: We’ll find out in a little bit then. If we’re both right, I’ll let you buy a late dinner.

He said with a straight face.

Adam: Kidding.

A nudge towards her followed that.

Adam: Glad to have you, Zoey. I mean that.

And as their attention turned back to the screen, the show heads elsewhere.

Future Shock returns from the commercial break, and we immediately head back to the ring where the Wildcat awaits.

Zack: Time for what should be one helluva tag team grudge match right here! Ascension has been on a massive tear of late, including knocking off the BSX & Anna recently and Kimmi earning herself a shot at the Television Championship.

Linda: And with Isis in the main event, there’s a chance Ascension can clean up tonight. Not that anyone wants them to...

Gaby: The following tag team match is scheduled for one fall!

The cameras head towards the doors as we see Cara heading towards the ring with a very determined Anna walking along behind her. The girls climb inside, heading to their corner as they get quite a warm reception from the crowd.

Gaby: From Upstate New York, weighing in at 136 pounds…”HURRICANE” CAARRAAAA STOOOONE!  And her partner…from San Diego, California via Naples, Italy…and weighing in tonight at one hundred and fifty-five pounds…she is that YOUNG KNOCKOUT KID…ANNAAAAAAAAAAA…GIOVANNAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Zack: And there are two women right there who have payback on their minds. I don’t blame them for coming out together with the blindside attacks we’ve seen during entrances lately. Cara is more of a tag team expert, so I suspect she may be the one leading this team.

Linda: Cara is ready to teach Ascension a lesson, and Anna has had enough experience dealing with this team to know them inside and out. Hopefully that knowledge pays off this evening.

The fans immediately begin to boo as two thirds of Ascension begin to head towards the ring from the back. Neither Valentina nor Kimmi look remotely impressed or bothered by it as Lozano demands referee Stephen Wilson open the ropes for them. He reluctantly does so.

Gaby: And their opponents, representing Ascension...this is...KIMMI HATE & VALENTINA LOZANO!!!

Zack: Talk about two women riding high right now. We’re going to see both of them this Saturday at Unstoppable when Valentina meets Kenzie, Ashleigh Powell’s best friend, after what she did to her. And Kimmi...well Kimmi will learn the meaning of Shots Fired when she meets a returning Lizzy Taylor!

Linda: ...So I don’t think Ascension will be having a good night in a few days. That’s just me speaking, of course.

The referee calls for the bell as Cara & Anna play a little game of rock paper scissors in the corner. And as both of them land on scissors, they give each other a shrug...and IMMEDIATELY both go right after Ascension to the crowd’s delight. Valentina had barely turned around before Cara was right on top of her, wailing away with big right hands. Meanwhile, Anna unloaded with shots on Kimmi repeatedly. The blonde whipped her across for the ride. And before Kimmi had a chance to rebound fully, Giovanna caught her with a running elbow smash to the jaw that sent her backwards a few steps. Anna fired her into the far corner, following her with a corner clothesline as Cara pelted away with European uppercuts that rocked Valentina repeatedly.

Zack: Anna & Cara didn’t want to wait! And Ascension are getting pounded for it. I don’t think Valentina and Kimmi were expecting it to bust loose as soon as the bell rang.

Linda: I’m not usually for one team jumping the other, but...I can make exceptions. GO GET ‘EM GIRLS!

Cara fired Valentina into the ropes, joined hands with Anna and used a double clothesline to send her over the top rope to the floor. Kimmi charged both women next as Anna used a back body drop to send her out with her tag team partner. Valentina and Kimmi began to get back to their feet ringside as Anna whipped Cara into the far side. And when the “Hurricane” rebounded, Anna scooped her up and launched her on top of them! Cara mounted Valentina’s chest, and hammered rights into her head while the blonde caught Kimmi with a baseball slide that sent her back on the floor with Anna now on top of her doing the same as Cara!

Linda: Anna and Cara aren’t giving Ascension a chance to even breathe! These two are laying everything into Kimmi and Valentina before they can even manage to throw a punch!

Zack: And to two nicer women it couldn’t have happened, if you ask me! There’s no question that the fans in the Center are 100% behind Anna & Cara….Salt’n Pepa, I believe they go by tonight.

Valentina finally shoved Cara off of her, trying to get away from her as Stone didn’t waste much time in going right back after her. She bounced the Latin Goddess’ head off the apron a couple times before she threw her under the bottom rope back into the ring. As Stone slid in after her, Lozano rolled back out around the corner as Cara was in hot pursuit. Anna unloaded on Kimmi as the referee was trying to get them back into the ring. Giovanna measured what looked like an uppercut as Kimmi was beginning to get up. And as soon as the referee got within arm’s reach, he tapped her shoulder and told her to get it in the ring. Kimmi seized this, grabbing the distracted Anna’s other arm and sending her for a ride face first into the pole. Hate crashed her head into the ringpost again and again before she threw her back inside and slithered in after her.

Linda: Leave it to Kimmi to take advantage of a woman being given orders by the ref. This could turn the tide of the fight!

Zack: I admire the official for trying to restore order and get this match in the ring, but he’s got his work cut out for him with all the bad blood here.

Wilson went to try to break up the fight with Cara & Valentina ringside as Kimmi unwrapped the tape around her wrist in the ring, and began to choke Anna with it. The referee was having quite a difficult time on the floor, unaware of Kimmi’s actions in the ring. Hate threw the tape away, and began to pound rights into the blonde’s face before she lifted her legs and delivered a diving headbutt between them, a definite disqualification...if the referee was watching it. It curled Anna into a fetal position on the mat as Kimmi raked her boot across her face and followed it up with a fist drop into the same spot. Meanwhile on the floor, Valentina had managed to get away from Cara as the referee was trying to reason with the “Hurricane”, to which Lozano used that to catch Cara with a clothesline to the back that almost sent her into the referee. The Latin Goddess headed for her corner on the other side as Kimmi continued to take liberties in the ring.

Linda: I’m not sure how you’d describe it, but it seems as if every time the ref tries to keep order he’s just making matters worse for Cara and Anna. I get doing your job, but...Ascension.

Zack: It’s almost like referee Stephen Wilson is a third member of the team, despite trying to make this an even playing field. Cara’s down here on the floor, and Kimmi is blasting away on Anna.

Valentina began to remove the top turnbuckle pad from her corner as Kimmi grabbed Anna’s legs under her arms. And with a catapult, she sent her face first into the exposed metal ring before Valentina began to hammer shots into her head as well. Hate came in from Anna’s blind side, grabbing her hair from behind and dropping her with a reverse DDT before making a cover. This time, the referee finally made it into the ring (of course) and slid into position to make the count.

Zack: Good Lord, Anna’s face struck that exposed turnbuckle like a runaway train...and now the referee is back in the ring!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Anna got her shoulder up after the two before Kimmi leaned down, biting into her face momentarily before she got back to her feet and tagged in Valentina.

Linda: Hey, HEY! No biting! I expect a little better from the woman that ended Ashleigh Powell’s career!

Lozano stepped into the ring, both of them scooping Anna up and delivering a stomach breaker across their knees. Valentina planted her head between her legs as Kimmi grabbed her feet, hopped up onto the middle turnbuckle and they executed a spike piledriver. Giovanna collapsed on the canvas as Valentina made an arrogant cover. Wilson dropped to count.

Zack: Kimmi has a five count to leave the ring after a tag, and she’s not giving a damn about it here. Spike piledriver, and Anna’s in trouble!

Linda: Kimmi not giving a damn, that’s a new one...C’mon Anna, keep yourself in the fight!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

T-NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

The blonde kicked out again as Valentina told the referee his count was too slow before she began to grind her forearm across Anna’s face and rise back to her feet.

Linda: I think now we can confirm that the referee isn’t choosing sides. Valentina’s scolding him for a fair call!

The fans began to chant for Anna now as Valentina berated them, and dropped a leg across her face when she tried to sit up. Lozano began to drive repeated elbows into her forehead before she pulled her back to her feet. An Irish whip into the corner sent Anna chest first, causing her to stumble backwards before Valentina came in from behind with a big boot to the back of her head. But Anna ducked it, and Valentina had to regain her balance before she turned around into a stunner that brought the crowd to its feet. Both women lay on the canvas as Cara hopped up onto the apron with her hand out.

Linda: Stunner from Anna! Giovanni has changed the pace of the fight, and Cara is leaning in, practically begging for a tag now!

Zack: I’d normally say she should go for a cover, but after all she’s weathered, Anna’s had the hell beaten out of her. She needs to make a tag before Valentina gets her wits about her.

Anna began to sit up first, holding the back of her head in pain before she looked around to see where her partner was. Cara shouted to get her attention, holding out her hand as the blonde started to move towards her. But Valentina was also starting to get up as well. The fans began to chant louder for the Season 19 Champion as Cara was practically bent over the top rope trying to reach for her partner. Anna caught sight of her finally, and lunged towards the corner just as Kimmi came in and caught Cara with a forearm to the head that sent her back to the floor. The referee got onto Kimmi for coming into the ring as Anna collapsed in her corner. Lozano dragged her back away from it by her feet and delivered a knee drop into the back of her head as the official escorted Kimmi out.

Zack: She was almost there...right there, but Kimmi stopped that! Cara’s down here on the floor again, and Anna’s back to square one with Lozano right on top of her again!

Linda: That forearm hit Cara something good too, as she’s taking her time to stand back up. C’mon guys...

Valentina beamed with pride, looking back to her partner with a smile. And as she turned back around, Anna was up on her knees and fired a pair of shots into her abdomen that stopped her in her tracks. The fans began to get loud again as Anna fired two more and started back to her feet finally. Anna began to hammer rights into Valentina’s jaw, much to the delight of the fans. Cara rolled back into the ring, and went for a roundhouse kick that Valentina barely managed to dodge. The referee went to intercept her as Kimmi came back in, delivering a low blow to Anna and dropping her to her knees. The referee tried to restrain Cara as Kimmi clapped her hands behind him, pretending it was a tag as she let Valentina roll out to the floor. When the referee finally got Cara to the apron, Kimmi had applied a neck crimp as she dug her fingers into Anna’s shoulder. The referee turned back with a confused look as Kimmi asked if he didn’t hear the tag.

Linda: No, of COURSE he didn’t hear the clap, Kimmi, he was too busy berating a woman that had every right to lay out an attack!

Zack: Ascension is playing this referee like a violin! You can’t call things you don’t see, but I guess Wilson is letting it go.

Kimmi measured and drilled a pair of elbows into her shoulder, even adding a few knee strikes to her shoulder before she pulled Anna back to her feet. She whipped her into a neutral corner, causing Anna to strike back first. Kimmi measured with her hands with a smirk on her face before she took off after her, looking for a big boot to her face. But Anna dropped out of the way, and Kimmi’s leg cleared the top rope and got hung up. The redhead’s face showed the pain that caused as Anna crawled away from her. Hate CAREFULLY removed her leg from the top rope, and turned right into a running elbow smash to the jaw from Anna that dropped her like a rock...and Anna with her!

Zack: THE GOLDEN ELBOW….shades of her mentor, Vanessa Cade! And did she ever knock Kimmi cold!! Now….make the tag, Anna!

Linda: You’ve got the chance now, Anna! Cara’s getting hot for that tag!

Anna looked around for her corner, finally spotting it as Cara was bouncing on the balls of her feet at this point. The blonde headed for her, lunging for the tag and finally making it to the roar of the crowd. Cara hopped over the top rope, and took off with a running knee trembler into Kimmi’s head. Stone took off towards the ropes as the referee intercepted her, telling her to leave the ring as Valentina caught Anna with her bicycle kick to the head behind his back.

Zack: WHAT?!

The show cut to instant replay as we see Valentina head into the ring as Anna was about to make the tag, causing Wilson to intercept her and not see the tag to Cara.

Linda: I’m sure I speak for the majority of the fans, or at least someone out there, when I say that I am getting VERY annoyed with the Ascension AND the referee at this point in the match!

Zack: He didn’t see Kimmi tag in, and allowed that. But he doesn’t see the actual legal tag, and won’t allow Cara into the ring!

Linda: Hence my aggravation.

Valentina dragged Kimmi over Anna before she rolled out of the ring, while Wilson escorted Cara back to her corner. Cara was quite angry at this point before the referee turned back to the match and slid into position.

Zack: Valentina hit her bicycle kick, and they’re gonna win it like this?! Wilson’s making the count!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NO!!

Anna’s arm popped up before the three as Kimmi barely knew where she was, sitting up and trying to get her bearings as Valentina screamed at the referee for another slow count.

Linda: NO! NO! You do NOT get to yell at the ref when he’s handed you SO many opportunities tonight! I mean...Thank god that Anna made it out in time, but she’s in desperate need of giving Cara that tag, and the ref REALLY needs to pay attention this time!

Zack: She’s already made it, but you’re right! Anna needs to hurry!

Kimmi started to get to her feet, still feeling the effects of the Golden Elbow shot. She glanced around to find Anna looking for her corner, leaning down to grab her before Anna surprised her with a small package! Lozano came back in as the referee read her the riot act, meanwhile the fans counted the fall.

Fans: ONE!!!! TWOOOOOOOOOO!!! THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Valentina finally left the ring again as the referee slid into position to make the count.

ONE!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

TH-NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Kimmi kicked out here, much to the chagrin of the crowd in the Center.

Linda: Oh my GOD...so Zack, if Ascension ends up winning after the way this referee is calling the match, who reads him the riot act?

Hate got back to her feet, waving Anna to get back to her feet. Giovanna was clearly the worse for wear as Hate leaned over, legs wide apart as she told her to get up. The blonde did just that finally. And as Kimmi went at her, Giovanna rolled between her legs and lunged for her corner to make the tag! The referee saw this one as the crowd came to its feet! Kimmi mouthed “Oh shit..” before Cara came off the top rope with a springboard into a flying forearm!

Linda: FINALLY! GO GET ‘EM CARA! KNOCK THEM DOWN HARD! I mean, Cara’s made the tag and she’s on FIRE!

Stone rolled to her feet, and caught Valentina with a running yakuza kick to the chest that sent her off the apron to the floor. And as Kimmi got back up again, Cara rebounded off the near side into a Thesz press and unloaded rapid-fire rights into the redhead! She quickly rolled to her feet, pounding her fists into the mat with a scream of fury. Kimmi started to get back to her feet very slowly, clearly dazed before Stone used the middle rope for a springboard into a roundhouse kick to the jaw! She dove across her for the cover as Stone dropped to make the count.

Zack: KIMMI’S JAW GOT JACKED...CARA’S GOT THIS!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-WHOA!!

As Wilson’s hand was coming down for three, Lozano jerked him out of the ring by the foot. Wilson screamed at her as Cara pounded the mat in frustration!

Linda: Valentina just jerked the ref out of the ring! Don’t read her the riot act, dammit, DISQUALIFY HER! She TOUCHED AN OFFICIAL to interrupt the count!

Zack: Cara had it won right there! Wilson is screaming at Lozano! And Cara’s heading for the top rope!

Cara ascended the top rope, giving the sign for her frog splash. The fans came to their feet at this point as Valentina grabbed a chair and was about to head into the ring. The referee stopped her, pulling her back as she dropped the chair onto the apron instead.

Zack: Cara’s in the launch position, the referee stopped Valentina from using that chair!

Linda: I don’t know if I can watch...

Cara glanced to see the referee stopping Valentina before she left her feet, sailing through the air before connecting with the frog splash! The referee dove back into the ring.

Zack: DOWN FROM THE SKY!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

The crowd roared in approval as the referee called for the bell, as Anna joined Cara in the ring. The referee raised both their hands in victory as Valentina pulled her partner out of the ring at the same time. Neither Cara nor Anna looked like they were done though as they cast long stares down at the two on the floor.

Linda: Cara and Anna win! But judging by the looks on their faces it wasn’t enough for them. And given all they went through I can’t blame them for wanting to beat them a little more.

Gaby: Here are your winners…..ANNA GIOVANNA & “HURRICANE” CARA STONE!!!

Zack: If there’s a tag team that had to go through more hell to win a match than these two did, they have my sympathy! But Cara & Anna pulled it out, and that’s definitely put the crowd in the right mindset!

Linda: Congratulations to Anna and Cara, although I feel this might not be the end for these teams.

Zack: Ascension has a LONG night ahead at Unstoppable 7 this Saturday! Valentina’s gonna face the wrath of Kenzie Rydell for what happened to her best friend. Kimmi’s got a loaded Pistol waiting for her...and Anna….oh, Anna’s got the Titaness in Orlando!

Linda: If I’m the Ascension, I’d be praying to whatever higher power they believe in for Saturday night to work in their favor, because this is ending up to be a long week for the trio.

The determined faces of Cara & Anna are last seen before Future Shock cuts to commercial.

Graduation Day

Future Shock returns from the break where we find Adam standing in the ring, pointing to a wall on one side of the Center with the words “Graduates” written across it with a sheet covering what looks like a framed picture.

Adam: When I relaunched Future Shock, it was for moments just like this! For years, you all voted on who you wanted gone, who you wanted to be eliminated. And when I relaunched it, I wanted you to do something positive. No more elimination. Tonight isn’t about elimination, it’s about elevation. As proud as I am of the girls we have on the prospects roster, all of you here and watching have decided one of them...one of them is ready for the main stage.

Zack: I don’t know about you, Linda, but I’m a little nervous myself here. I happen to like all three of the girls up for graduation.

Linda: It’s very easy to see why, Zack, as each of these girls has proven themselves in some fashion. Although I may have some bias for my friend Lily.

Adam: That right there is what I am calling the Wall of Fame, where every woman who gets promoted to the main roster will have her picture hung. Not just to commemorate her achievement, but to be an inspiration for the girls here who want to follow in their footsteps. And tonight, we’ve hung the first picture because you all have made your choice. You all have decided who is ready for FFW. And I don’t envy any of you the choice you had to make. No one will tout the praises of Katie Day, Kassidy, and Lily-Rose more than me. They have become synonymous with Future Shock, and all three of them are backstage right now on pins and needles.

Zack: They can join the club!

Linda: Agreed Zack, I don’t think there’s a single person that isn’t anticipating this moment.

Adam: I’m proud of all three of them. I know all of you like them as well, but you made the decision. You decided who you felt was ready, and tonight I get the privilege of letting that person know. Because she will always be the FIRST graduate of Future Shock since it all restarted! Are we ready to find out?

The crowd definitely was ready at this point, making plenty of noise as Adam nodded his head.

Linda: As ready as we’ll ever be!

Adam: Ladies and gentlemen, it is my pleasure to introduce you to the first graduate of Future Shock….

The sheet covering the picture is pulled off as the crowd sees the picture as Adam calls her name to a pop from the fans.

Adam: LILY-ROSE!!

As the crowd stares at the entrance ramp, they watch as Lily-Rose, wearing her “Trouble Clef” t-shirt and jeans, as well as a big smirk on her face, heads down the ramp. She stops just outside the ring, stares out at the crowd, and throws up the metal horns before rounding the ring and delivering high fives. She stops short of the announcer’s table, giving the Ocean’s Beauty a big hug, which Linda gives back. The MMA fighter gives Linda a thumbs up before heading back to the crowd for more high fives, then walks up the steps into the ring.

Linda: I’m proud for Lily, Zack! She’s been a close friend for quite some time and she’s been looking forward to competing in Future Shock as part of the No Surrender season before the reboot’s announcement. But it’s hard to say she didn’t deserve this.

Zack: Agreed on all counts. And perhaps the only time she ever had anything in common with you, but I bet OE Ayano is happy she’s moving up too.

Adam gives her a handshake, pointing out her picture on the Wall of Fame before he begins.

Adam: Lily, congratulations! This is your moment, so I’m going to let you have it. And I got a contract in my office waiting for you when you’re done.

He offers her his microphone, and lets her have the ring to herself. Lily stands in the center of the ring, taking in a few deep breaths. She looks around her, staring at the crowd as they chant Lily’s name, and she begins.

Lily: Well seeing as it’s graduation day, I feel like I’m my own valedictorian.

This gets a chuckle out of the crowd.

Lily: I...don’t know how many times I can say it, but thank you Adam for this opportunity. Thank you for putting me through the ringer with some great talent since my first match all the way back in November. I’ve had my highs against OE and Anna, my lows against Jodie...and OE...but I remained true to the person I said I was...a fighter.

She rubs her finger against a closed eye, sniffing before she continues.

Lily: As Future Shock’s first graduate, I owe it to all of you who voted for me to make it this far. Those of you that didn’t vote for me...fair enough, just means there’s a couple folks out there I’ve still gotta win over. But the fight’s not over. I’m moving up, and I’ve got a larger pool of talent to show off against. Who knows who I’ll be going against first? One thing is certain...somewhere along the road I’ll be looking to have a try at the No Surrender division. And with all the talent that’s accumulated around that title these last several months...I say bring the mayhem. Because a little mayhem? Never hurt anyone.

Still smiling, the rockstar gives a little shrug.

Lily: To my chicas Kass and Katie? Don’t worry, I get the feeling I’ll be seeing you on the other side real soon. Kass, if I ever do end up the No Surrender champion and you’re on the main roster, I’ll be looking to give you the first shot when possible.

The crowd cheers, and Lily lets out one final sigh.

Lily: Thank you everyone! Peace out...and rock out!

To another standing ovation, Lily throws the horns up one last time.

Linda: Congratulations, Lily! I think you’ll be just fine moving on up!

Zack: The main roster, specifically the No Surrender division, we’re sending one to you and I don’t envy any of you a bit!

The camera shows Lily as the fans show her their appreciation before Future Shock heads elsewhere.

Malicious Intent

We cut to exclusive footage from two weeks ago, where we see trainers tending to a bloody Mallory Bennett as she sits on a trainer’s table. One trainer is gently removing glass fragments from a broken Coke bottle from her head while the other checks her visual acuity. From there, we go back live and find her with Sara (who is not working nearly as hard this week).

Sara: On the last edition of Future Shock, Mallory Bennett competed in a Falls Count Anywhere match that technically is still going on, I suppose, since her opponent fled the Center at a high rate of speed. As you just saw, she had more than a few glass fragments removed from her head and was checked for other injuries after the assault she withstood. Mallory, thanks for joining me and I’m glad to see you are alright.

Mallory is staring at the nearby screen of the footage of her playing, glass shards being removed from her head though she is probably also thinking about being nearly ran over as well. Wearing an #Unstoppable7 tee and torn up jeans, Mal just continued to stare at the screen and only spoke half-paying attention.

Mal: ...Thanks for having me. I’m okay.

Sara: That’s good to hear. For those unaware, over a half dozen glass fragments were removed from Mallory’s head, thanks to a shattered Coke bottle. Also Bianca seemingly tried to run you over with her rental car. It’s just lucky that your reflexes are what they are, and you were able to avoid the collision. Did you have any idea the depths to which Bianca Salvador clearly loathes you? She has gone to dangerous extremes trying to rid herself and Future Shock of you.

Mallory didn’t respond right away, staring at the screen.

Mal: She hates me more than just about anyone on this planet doesn’t she? Maybe more than Anna. Maybe she hates Anna just as much. Maybe she would interject and say I shouldn’t flatter myself, but she hasn’t been heard from much since so why should I expect her to right? She hates me because I forced her to accept her weakness or because of something me and Anna did, or whatever other reason or excuse she wants to come up next. Because I threw everything in her face and broke her heart and made her reevaluate herself. Like I’m a motivational speaker, Sara. I didn’t know we try to run over people who apparently push us but what do I know right? She is a... She’s... She...

Mallory closes her eyes, as though trying to swallow some indeterminate amount of verbal bile.

Mal: No. No. I would have never dreamed the depth of which she would go.

Sara is handed something in a small plastic bag, which she shows to Mallory.

Sara: When they were cleaning up the Center after your match, one of them found this on the floor.

She held up the bag with a broken shard of glass and a Coke label stuck to it that read “Share a Coke with Mallory.”

Mallory: ...I should make it into a necklace.

The former mechanic’s tone is in such a way that is really... Exceptionally hard to tell if she’s trying to make a stab at humor in the face of nearly having her career taken from her... Or if she truly does mean that. She holds it up for a few moments.

Mallory: Do you mind if I ask you a question, Sara?

Sara: Of course, I only mentioned that because she had tweeted it out after your match that night like it was a joke.

Mallory: What would you do to someone who tried to run you over with a car, who embedded a number of sharp... Painfully sharp glass fragments into your head, all the while making it sound as though it was all your fault, as if somehow... Someway you had all brought it on yourself. What would you do Sara, to someone out to terrorize you any and every way they could, to hurt you... Any and every way they could just because you did one thing... Just one thing to have made this all snowball?

Sara: I can’t answer that because it’s never happened to me. I suppose the only thing could be is to stop them. And you have that chance at Future Shock Wipeout inside a cage. A cage match where escape means forfeit, and the only way to win is by pinfall or submission. Adam ordered that just a few days after what took place on the last show.

Mallory: I know.

She smiled slowly. A slightly worrying smile before her lips went back to a neutral fashion.

Mallory: I don’t want to stop her though. Stopping her? We’ve gone past trying to stop her. No. I want to embarrass her. No, forget that. Not even that. No...

Mallory closed her eyes, frowning.

Mallory: I want to hurt her. ...And I am not proud about that. In that cage where if she runs this time, it’s an admittance of her failure, of her weakness. I wanted this to end, this collision course we’re stuck on but no. That’s done. Not after trying to run me over. I want to put her down and take a piece of her and show it to her. I want to put her in a state of mind that she will never recover from. I don’t want peace between us, I don’t want understanding. I want to make her quietly cry when she’s with her boyfriend. I want her to cry to herself when she’s alone. I want her to question herself and her career and her state of being because I Want. To. Ruin. Her.

The camera zooms in on Mallory’s expression before Future Shock cuts to a commercial break.

The show returns from commercial as we return to the ring, where the Wildcat awaits with her microphone in hand.

Zack: We’ve taken our final commercial break of the evening, and just in time at that because the main event is upon us.

Linda: This is a title match with a smidgen of history, Zack, as these two faced off not too long after their season ended. Cereza had little to no experience while Isis stomped a mudhole into her. Now that Cereza’s tune has changed, one can only wonder how much differently the deck will be stacked.

Gaby: The following contest is your main event, and it is for the FFW Future Shock Championship!

Cereza heads towards the ring, taking a few deep breaths as she enters. Gaby gives her a smile as she heads for her corner as the referee checks her.

Gaby: Making her way to the ring...from Liverpool, England...the #1 contender for the Future Shock Championship...CEREZA!

Zack: Cereza has made quite the turnaround in the last year, and it’s all been for the better. Tonight, we could see the culmination of that if she can knock off the Titaness. And I don’t have to tell you that is a feat that is extremely rare to happen one on one.

Linda: Cereza was the first Aspire Ring bearer, the first to win all three defenses for this opportunity...now can she be the first to successfully cash in and win the belt?

The crowd shows the most dominant member of Ascension very little support as Isis heads towards the ring. She steps through the ropes, raising her title above her head before letting referee Jennifer Stringer take it from her.

Gaby: Making her way to the ring, she hails from the City Of Angels, Los Angeles, California…standing at an impressive 6 foot 6 and weighing 230 pounds. She is the reigning & defending FFW Future Shock Champion…the “Titaness of Destruction”…ISIS MORALES!!!!!!

Zack: This woman is the very definition of a juggernaut. She’s only lost one singles match, and she has already rectified that as a now 2-time Future Shock Champion. She is, without question, a heavy favorite in any match by virtue of her success in FFW.

Linda: I’m sure the boys in Vegas will love to hear that, Zack. Cereza is certainly walking into this fight as an underdog, and Isis has toppled those with more experience than her. While I’d love to see Isis get dropped once more, the odds of losing the title tonight are very slim.

Stringer raises the title above her head before handing it off to Gaby as she exits the ring. Isis keeps a steely look on her face as Cereza looks at her from across the ring. The bell sounds as Morales clenches and unclenches her fists before she walks towards the center. Cereza doesn’t move out of the corner for a moment, still looking up to her before she meets her in the center of the ring. Isis stares down at her as Cereza shakes her head and starts towards the ropes. This brings a smile to Isis’ face before Cereza surprises her by turning right back at her and running into her with a shot to the head. A second and a third follow that one as she pounds those fists in, causing the redhead to step back a moment as Ithavoll hits the near side ropes, rebounding into a running shoulder block. But Isis doesn’t budge, shaking her head. Cereza’s eyes widen a bit, hitting the ropes again and catching her with a second running shoulder block. And again, Isis doesn’t budge an inch.

Zack: This isn’t the right strategy, Linda. Cereza isn’t going to win a head on fight with the Future Shock Champion, she has to get her off her feet.

Linda: Cereza’s taken a lot of pride in the fact she’s an unpredictable machine in the ring. Maybe she has something in mind?

Cereza hit the ropes again, barreling into her a third time to no effect. She looks up to her only a moment before Isis rains a forearm across her back that doubles her over slightly, only to be followed by two more before a massive beal sends her flying into the corner. The former stripper starts to get up, only to get crushed in the corner by Isis with an avalanche. She turns away from her, leaning her body weight against her before she drives her hips into Cereza’s body once, and then again and again. It causes the brunette to grunt in pain before Morales scoops her up overhead and slams her to the canvas. As soon as she lands on her back, the champion steps over her chest as she walks past her.

Zack: You have to get her off her feet. When Isis is vertical, she is dominant. Cereza’s gonna have to find a way to bring her down. It’s the only way!

Linda: I’ll have to start agreeing with you, things haven’t quite worked out for her this early in the fight. But when you’re Cereza how would you go about doing that?

Cereza grabbed the ropes and began to rise to her feet, only for the champion to start raining blows down across her back repeatedly to drive her down again. She spun her around and scooped her up into what looked like a bearhug before she ran her into the far corner back first. Isis didn’t let her go though, turning around and driving her back into the next corner before drilling her with a spinebuster. The former stripper’s face was a mask of agony at this point as Isis hooked her far leg for a cover as Stringer dropped to count.

Linda: Not even a second to catch her breath, and Cereza’s being bearhugged by the champion before Isis drops her with a spinebuster!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

Cereza kicked out just after the two as Isis cradled her head with one hand, and rained right hands down into her face with the other repeatedly. She finally rose back to her feet, pulling the challenger up with her and falling forward into a powerslam.

Zack: Isis’ target is the challenger’s back, and she’s doing a helluva job in flat out punishing Cereza for wanting this opportunity.

Linda: The champion is giving Cereza a beating, and even after a kickout she’s immediately getting back on the offensive.

The champion pulled Cereza back up, hoisting her over her shoulders before applying a torture rack submission. Cereza’s body arched across Isis’ shoulders as the powerhouse shook her in place, causing the challenger to shout in pain as the referee asked her if she wanted to quit.  Cereza made it clear she didn’t, only for Isis to continue to bounce her up and down in the submission and cause her to wail in pain as a result.

Linda: Cereza’s not looking too good. She’s barely gotten a move in edgewise this far in the fight, and with all the pain Isis is putting her through this could be a short fight...unfortunately.

Zack: Cereza is definitely weathering one nasty storm here, courtesy of the Future Shock Champion.

Cereza’s face was clearly showing signs of great suffering as Isis continued to shake her on her shoulders. The former stripper tried to break free of her grip, trying to rock herself in her grip but it wasn’t working until Ithavoll raked her eyes with her free hand. It caused the redhead to lose her grip and grab her face, and Cereza dropped to her knees behind her as she clutched her lower back. She rose back up as Isis turned towards her, grabbing her head and executing a jawbreaker that reeled her back some more. Ithavoll rose back up again, clutching her back yet again before she took off towards the ropes and delivered a nice dropkick into her chest that sent her back into the ropes again. Morales lost her balance, and fell to a seat with her arms getting tangled up in the ropes. Cereza’s eyes widen as the fans got behind her, realizing she had Isis caught!

Zack: Look at that, Morales got her arms tied up in the ropes. And it’s open season for Cereza!

Linda: Act quick, Cereza, ACT QUICK!

The stripper started unloading with furious right hands to her head one after rapid fire before backing up a few steps and delivering a boot to her face. Two more followed that before Cereza began to drive repeated elbows into her head next as the referee was trying to release the champion’s arms.

Zack: It might not be the most ethical thing to do, but Cereza is taking the fight to the Titaness either way! I don’t blame her a bit, this is the opening she needed!

Linda: Coming at someone with Isis’ size and power, I think sometimes you need to admit that ethics will have to go to the wayside! Take what you can when you can!

With the crowd getting louder in her favor, Cereza pointed towards the far side ropes and took off towards them. As she started to rebound, Isis pushed up and back to her feet to free herself before aiming a boot right for Cereza’s head. But the challenger ducked underneath it and ended up behind her. Before Morales could turn, Cereza snapped her arms around her waist and threw her with a release German suplex. Isis crashed into the mat, but Cereza froze up on the canvas as well, clearly hurting her back in the process.

Linda: A German suplex from Cereza to Isis! A shocking move, but it’s clear it had a price on Cereza’s body!

Zack: Isis must feel like she weighs as much as Germany after all the damage done to her back by the champion.

Ithavoll rolled over and draped an arm across Isis, her face still showing the pain she was feeling in her back as the referee dropped to make the count.

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Isis kicked out just after the two as Cereza crawled towards the ropes to help get back up to her feet. She clutched her hand to her back for a moment till she noticed the champion starting to sit up. And she quickly began driving her knee into her repeatedly.

Zack: This is what she has to do, keep her on the canvas. I don’t care how strong or powerful you are, it doesn’t help you a bit if you are flat on the mat.

Linda: Cereza can’t keep her down like this forever. I hate to say it but she’s bound to get up sooner than later.

Each shot rocked the redhead forward before Cereza bounced off the near side with a basement dropkick to her back. She headed for the ropes again, this time passing the champion as she was beginning to get up before dropping her with a bulldog into the mat. She quickly rolled her over for another cover.

Zack: Big time bulldog, and Cereza’s keeping Isis grounded very well! You can see how much her back is hurting though.

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

T-NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Isis kicked out again as Cereza started back to her feet. The challenger measured the champion as she sat up again, firing a kick along her spine that froze her up for a moment. Another dropkick put her back down before Cereza glanced towards the ropes.

Linda:  Cereza has her eyes on those ropes, Zack, I’m curious what she has in mind here...

As Isis started to sit up again, Cereza used the ropes for a springboard into a senton across her chest that put her back down once more. She climbed back to her feet, giving the sign for her finisher.

Zack: I think Cereza feels like she’s close here, Linda. I think we’re about to see a Bouncer Drop in Isis’ future!

Linda: We can only hope, Zack, I think I see the crowd pleading for this to be Morales’ end.

Cereza moved a couple feet away, waving for the champion to get up. And when Isis started to do that very thing, Cereza charged forward and went to grab her head for the facebuster. But Isis shoved her backwards a step before she stood, wrapped both hands around her throat and planted her with a sitout double armed chokeslam!

Zack: Cereza went for the facebuster, and got a Rydeen bomb instead!

Linda: She almost had it, though! One split second is all it takes to change the match around, and it’s allowed Isis to get the upperhand again!

Isis leaned forward, hooking her legs for the cover as Stringer dropped to make the count.

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NO!!

Cereza barely got her shoulder up just as the three was about to strike the canvas. The crowd almost collectively gasped in unison, as Isis started to get back to her feet.

Linda: Cereza continues to stay in this fight, but you can see her efforts aren’t in vain. Look at Isis.

It was clear that the redhead was in some pain as she winced while she got up. Looking down to Cereza with disdain, she pulled her up by the head and planted her head between her legs. She cast an angry gaze over the crowd before she powerbombed Cereza...across her knee and caused the brunette to shout in pain on impact.

Zack: Good Lord, that...that could have torn some ligaments right there! Cereza is getting her back dissected at the hands of the Future Shock Champion.

Linda: I almost feel like Isis is getting desperate to keep Cereza down now. Why else would she drop Cereza on her knee like that?!

Cereza writhed on the mat, her hand clutching her back in pain as the Future Shock Champion pulled her up and into a bearhug that caused Cereza’s feet to dangle over the mat. The champion poured on the pressure, her hands clasped behind her back as she began to squeeze her tighter.

Linda: That bearhug is taking the breath out of Cereza. If she doesn’t get out of that move soon this could be it for her.

Zack: Isis can squeeze the life out of anyone, and Cereza’s felt that bearhug already. And I guarantee you she wasn’t looking for a second date.

Stringer moved behind Isis, looking up to the challenger as she asked her if she wanted to quit. But Cereza shook her head, only for Isis to shake her violently before she let her collapse back across her shoulder again. Cereza lay limp over her shoulder, not moving as much now as Isis continued to tighten her grip. The referee continued to check with the challenger, raising her hand and letting it drop. It rose again, and she let it drop. It rose a third time, and dropped again...before shooting back up. Isis rewarded that by violently shaking her body like a rag doll again.

Zack: Cereza’s still got some fight left in her, but it’s ebbing away in this bearhug, Linda. Unlike we saw with  her partners, Isis doesn’t use underhanded tactics to win matches. She doesn’t need them!

Linda: Maybe not, but she’s still capable of some brutal maneuvers as we saw with that powerbomb. It’s just a strong sense of determination right now that keeps Cereza in this fight.

Cereza’s face remained permanently pained as she was being squeezed. The brunette started to push Isis’ head away though with minimal effect before she boxed her ears. That worked as the champion wobbled a moment, only for Cereza to do it again. Morales stumbled a second time, and it was the third time that was the charm before she finally got free and landed on her feet.

Zack: That’s one way out of the bearhug, Isis is dazed! Cereza needs to hit something big here!

Linda: Something like...oh no! Cereza, what are you doing?!

As Isis doubled over trying to get her balance, Cereza managed to get her head between her legs and wrap her arms around the champion’s waist. The fans came to their feet.

Zack: She’s not gonna try to powerbomb Isis, I hope!

Linda: Her back is too torn up from Isis attacking her, and she’s not helped by her own efforts earlier with that German suplex! It would be suicide to try it!

Cereza went to lift her up into what looked like a piledriver instead, but she shouted in agony and dropped her back to her feet in the same position as one hand went to clutch her back in pain. Meanwhile, Isis’ hands began to clench and unclench at her side while Cereza still had her head in place.

Linda: Even a piledriver is too much to try! Cereza, come on! You need to try something less dire!

As Cereza tried it again, Isis rose up with Cereza hanging upside down on her back. The former stripper’s feet kicked back and forth, and ended up pulling Isis down into a sunset flip! The referee fell into position!

Zack: SHE ROLLED THROUGH!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NOPE!

Isis kicked out as Cereza started back to her feet. She could hardly stand up straight, clutching her back with one hand as she moved away from Isis. The Future Shock Champion began to stir again as Cereza looked back to see her moving already.

Linda: It was a good change of strategy, but not enough to keep Isis down for the count.

Cereza glanced towards the corner, then back to Isis, then back to the corner before she headed for it and began to climb to the top. She had to stop more than once as her back was in agony with each step she took till she finally made it to the top rope, using the ropes to keep her balance.

Zack: Cereza’s gonna go feast or famine with whatever she has in mind from the top rope, she’s leaving nothing to chance!

Linda: She’s made it to the top, now it’s time to see if the struggle pays off for her.

Isis rolled to her hands and knees, breathing heavily. And as she began to rise, Cereza jumped off the top rope with a curb stomp to the back of her head that spiked Isis face first into the mat! Ithavoll collapsed to her hands and knees on the canvas as Isis lay unmoving just a couple feet in front of her!

Zack: That’s the biggest curb stomp I’ve ever seen! COVER HER, CEREZA!

Linda: GET IT, CEREZA! GET IT!

The brunette crawled forward and collapsed across the top of Isis’ body as the referee dropped to make the count with the fans counting it along!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!

NO!

Isis got her leg across the bottom rope as the official waved off the count, and pointed it out to Cereza who looked as though she could cry now.

Linda: I feel a little bad for Cereza at this point. She keeps going and going but Isis keeps coming back. I don’t know how much more she can take...

Zack: What more can she do? She’s tried things I’ve never even seen her attempt. Cereza needs something big...and in a hurry, because the champion is starting to move again!

It was almost as though Cereza heard Zack as she stumbled a few steps as Isis was bent over. She charged forward for her kneeling facebuster, but Isis countered it and scooped her up onto her shoulders!

Zack: BOUNCER DR---NO!!

And with a massive impact, she landed her F5 into a DDT!

Zack: VOYAGE TO ARMAGEDDON!!

Linda: It’s...I think it’s over.

The champion made the cover as the referee slid into position.

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Stringer called for the bell as Isis sat up on her knees, trying to collect herself before the referee raised her hand in victory. Morales finally got up, snatching her title from the referee.

Gaby: Here is your winner and STILL FFW Future Shock Champion….ISIS MORALES!!!

Zack: And just that fast, Isis Morales has retained her title! Cereza was about to close the show, but Morales felt it coming! And Ascension, most importantly, Isis, is leaving LA with her title intact!

Linda: I’m not happy with the result, Zack, but I’m not letting this show end without giving Cereza credit. She put her heart, soul, blood, sweat, tears, whatever else she has to offer into this fight! It’s just a shame that it didn’t end with her gaining the Future Shock championship.

Zack: Cereza showed more heart and determination than I’ve ever seen, and there’ll be another day for her, I’m sure of it! Ladies and gentlemen, I cannot encourage you enough. If you only buy one FFW Pay Per View all year long, make it this one! Unstoppable 7 is this Saturday on Pay Per View, it’s FFW’s grand stage!

Linda: It’s going to be a huge show, folks. Think of this Future Shock as a precursor of how epic in proportion Unstoppable will be!

Zack: Isis retains, and we’re heading to Orlando! UNSTOPPABLE, HERE WE COME!
