Live from the Future Shock Center in Los Angeles, California
November 15, 2016

“Jungle” by Jamie N Commons & the X Ambassadors begins to play as the FFW logo flashes across the screen before we see a woman striking a heavy bag with each of the drum beats in the song. With each strike, we see members of the inaugural class in action such as Katie Day coming off the top rope, Ji-Hu watching with a smirk and a Slurpee in her hand as Max apparently is screaming at the camera, Angelina performing her corkscrew senton, Carmen Gutierrez flying through the air, and finally Gillie Barnes lacing up her boots..

The strikes on the heavy bag continue as each of the girls are shown before the arrival of several of the alumni roster. The new class turn to see Leah O’Quinn, Cereza, Bianca Salvador, Mel Avilo and Anna Giovanna step across from them. The class look at one another and then back to the Future Shock alumni as a couple of the girls crack their knuckles and look back to the ring sitting behind them. There they see Adam holding the ropes open for them before a lightning bolt strikes the screen and the Future Shock logo appears.

From there, we cut live inside the Future Shock Center as we hear quite a large throng of fans as they see themselves on international television. As the camera pans the facility to show the fans, it finally settles ringside where we find Zack and Linda Ragnal.

Zack: We are just a little over two weeks removed from Future Shock Resistance, and we welcome you back to the City of Angels in Los Angeles, California here at the Future Shock Center. This is the eleventh edition of Future Shock since we relaunched back in May, and now we begin the journey to Whiplash in February. Zack here, alongside everyone’s favorite blonde bell ringer, Linda Ragnal. Glad to have you back, Linda.

Linda: Thank you Zack, although to be honest my head’s still ringing from that bell shot. Or it’s the way Luther finished me off at Aggression, but whichever the case it’s time for Future Shock to build it’s road into the new year with only two editions to go!

Zack: That it is. Tonight, we got two matches on tap, and a return to the go kart track still to come. The main event sees the match YOU voted for as Anna Giovanna returns to action after suffering a concussion against Isis at Unstoppable to face Valentina Lozano one on one. Anna made herself pretty clear at Resistance when she popped up right at the start of the broadcast.

Linda: That she did, and now that she’s cleared to wrestle again she’ll be looking to get her hands on the remaining Ascension members, starting with the rich bitch herself.

Zack: But in our opening match, it’ll be a rematch from Resistance as requested by Missy when she meets Sunny Kyoun. If you recall, Linda, your match that night wasn’t the only time the ring bell left the timekeeper’s table during the show.

Linda: I vaguely remember it, still a little hazy, but even with April Evans shooing away Qilin it did Missy no favors as Sunny showed her strength through adversity. We’ll see if it pays off again in just a moment!

Zack: Let’s send it up to the Wildcat, and kick this thing off!

The cameras head to the ring, where Gaby awaits with her microphone in hand.

Gaby: The opening contest of Future Shock is scheduled for one fall, and it is a Future Shock Resistance rematch!

The boos began almost immediately as Sunny heads towards the ring with Qilin dutifully following behind her. As they head in that direction, Qilin is offering pamphlets to fans on both sides of the aisle, very few of which want them. Sunny steps into the ring as Qilin offers one to the timekeeper.

Gaby: Introducing first, accompanied by Qilin, she is a former FFW Unity Tag Team Champion…..SUNNY!!!

Linda: Sunny was able to escape Resistance with some sneakiness and a win, and it looks like she found her pamphlet bearer after she was scared off by April. Zack, silly question, but do you ever wonder how much money they spend on these pamphlets?

Zack: They probably don’t spend much, since I hardly ever see many people taking them. My guess is they still have the original order somewhere.

Next out was Missy, who got a much more favorable response from the crowd, which brought a smile to her face. She got halfway down the amp before waving towards the back. Then a girl with tightly braided hair headed out after her, giving Missy a hug and a high five before they head towards the ring. Qilin looks a little unnerved by the presence of the other girl as Missy steps into the ring.

Gaby: And her opponent, accompanied to the ring by Kenzi Grey, this is……..MISSY!!

Zack: Missy learned a lesson from Resistance, and brought in some backup for tonight. As you heard, that’s Kenzi Grey. And while she may seem pretty ….eccentric on social media, Grey is no stranger to wrestling and currently holds a title in her other promotion. She should be MORE than a match for Qilin!

Linda: Good for Missy to rely on friends such as Kenzi. I’m guessing April’s appearance gave her the idea to have her own backup.

The recently reinstated Stephen Wilson is already in the ring, checking both women for weapons before asking for the bell. The camera catches Brianna at the entrance into the Center watching closely.

Zack: Tonight’s in-ring matches will be officiated by Stephen Wilson, who recently was reinstated after Brianna Singer concluded her investigation regarding him.

Linda: I’m hoping she’s keeping a good eye on him, especially during tonight’s main event, where Valentina is involved, naturally.

After the bell rang, Missy wasted no time and went straight for Sunny. But as soon as she got within arm’s reach, Sunny ducked her head through the ropes and caused Wilson to get between them and make Missy move back a few steps. Kyoun ducked back into the ring, with Missy again going towards her, only to get ushered back when Sunny ducked her head through the ropes again. Qilin offered Missy a pamphlet from the floor, to which the brunette didn’t seem remotely interested.

Linda: Sunny seems to prefer ducking through the ropes to avoid any attacks from Missy. I question the strategy, but it’s getting Stephen between them a lot.

Zack: Sooner or later, Missy’s gonna get tired of that. And…..from my lips to her ears apparently!

Sunny ducked back in yet again as Missy went for her, only for the leader to step out onto the apron to a chorus of boos from the crowd. As she glanced out over them, Missy grabbed the top rope and used a slingshot to snap her over and back into the ring before she pounced on top of her, and began to deliver a flurry of rights into her head. The crowd ate that up until Sunny managed to get free of her, but not for long before Missy grabbed her arm and fired her into the far corner. Sunny crashed chest first before the brunette used a Stinger splash into her back, snapped her arms around her waist and launched her with a belly to back suplex onto the canvas.

Zack: Missy’s had about 2 weeks to review that tape from Resistance, and she’s not wasting a single second now! Belly to back overhead, and Missy’s picking right up where she left off!

Linda: She’s taking this fight by the horns early on, Zack, Missy’s looking to keep that advantage going while the adrenaline’s running!

As Sunny started to get to her feet, Missy was already up and charging towards her to bring her back down with a headscissors takedown. She quickly grabbed her arm between her legs, and went to grab her head for the crossface she almost won with at Resistance before Sunny broke her grip and immediately rolled out to the floor. The fans clearly didn’t appreciate it as Missy got back to her feet as Qilin began talking to the official just as he was about to start counting Sunny out of the ring.

Linda: Sunny avoided that crossface submission of Missy’s and headed out to the ring. The ref SHOULD be counting Sunny out right now, but our resident lolita Qilin is busy talking to him for that to be a thing.

Zack: She’s making sure Sunny gets all the time she wants right now, but I don’t know how long it’s gonna last. Kenzi’s on the move!

Kenzi started around the ring, heading straight for Qilin who finally decided to save the conversation for later. The referee turned back to the action as Missy was tired of waiting for Sunny to come back. The brunette hit the far side ropes, and rebounded into a baseball slide aimed for Sunny. But Kyoun pulled out the ring apron, allow Missy’s feet and legs to slide right into it catching her between it and the ring. As Missy tried to free herself, Sunny started firing elbow strikes into her head repeatedly. Kenzi continued to walk after Qilin, who rolled into the ring to get away from her until Kenzi did the same. Wilson went to intercept them, and get them out of the ring while Sunny pasted Missy with elbows before hooking her head and snapping off a DDT to the floor. The boos only got louder now as Sunny grabbed a microphone cable from under the ring, wrapping it around Missy’s neck to choke her as Wilson was still trying to get Kenzi and Qilin back to their corners.

Linda: Now Qilin and Kenzi are getting in the ring, Qilin taking the detour to do so. And while Stephen tries to get them back outside, Sunny is taking advantage of the scenario and choking Missy with an illegal object!

Zack: The referee is having all kinds of problems keeping order here with Qilin and Kenzi out here, while we got a mugging going on ringside as Sunny has a spare mic cable.

After choking her for a moment, Sunny tossed the cable back down and pulled a chair out next. She glanced back to Qilin on the other side of the ring, who had just gotten back to the floor. As they made eye contact, the pamphlet girl hopped back onto the apron again with Wilson telling her to get down while Kenzi was en route again. While this went on, Sunny pressed the end of the chair into Missy’s throat and drove the other end into the floor. The brunette collapsed to her knees, choking and coughing before Sunny put the chair back as Qilin finally got back to the floor yet again.

Linda: Now Sunny’s bringing the chair into this and driving it into Missy’s throat! Kenzi, with all due respect please to keep an eye on her!

Zack: It’s like a tag team match out here, well handicap really at this point as Sunny and Qilin are working like a unit.

Sunny rolled Missy back into the ring, looking down at her as she gasped for breath before sitting on her lower back and wrapping her own arms around her neck into a straitjacket submission. Missy’s arms began to constrict around her neck as Sunny pulled back on her hands. Qilin looked pleased from the floor, applauding her mentor and leader while Kenzi pounded the mat to rally the fans behind her friend in the ring. Wilson dropped down to check for a submission, but Missy gave no sign she wanted to stop. Meanwhile on a brief camera wide shot, eagle eye viewers would notice a pair of orange gloved hands doing something near a ringpost from under the ring before the show went back to ringside.

Linda: Sunny has Missy in that straitjacket submission hold, and while Missy isn’t giving-...Wait. Zack, did you see that? Orange gloves by the ringpost!

Zack: I’m not watching the ringposts while we got a match going on. Sunny is using Missy’s own arms to choke her out here, and it’s working like a charm!

Linda: I realize this, but bright orange gloves still stand out in a shot like that!

Sunny continued to pull back on her hands as Missy managed to get her foot under the bottom rope. Wilson called for the break, which Sunny finally did at a four count. She got back to her feet as Missy tried to crawl away from her, gasping to get her breath as she made it to the ropes. Sunny shot a cold stare to Kenzi in the corner, who shot her a bird back as Missy started to get to her feet in the corner. Sunny pulled her up the rest of the way, and began to fire knife edge chops into her chest. Each shot rang through the Center before she grabbed the top rope, and then fired a series of kicks into her body before the English beauty fell to her knees on the canvas. The camera watched from Kenzi’s perspective as she moved around the ring, stepping over a long piece of twine that was apparently tied to the ringpost on the floor.

Linda: Missy managed to break the hold by getting to the ropes, but Sunny’s still laying into...wait, what did Kenzi just step over? Did you notice that?

Zack: Yeah, that was the ringpost there. Let’s watch the match. Missy definitely needs to create some distance here, and get her wind back.

Linda: I AM watching the...why do I bother…?

Sunny seemed to enjoy herself as she stalked behind Missy when she tried to get away from her. The brunette finally got back to her feet with Sunny hovering not far behind her. And when Missy turned, Sunny went for a superkick to her head. But Missy ducked underneath it. When Sunny spun back around, Missy began to fire right hands into her jaw. This brought the crowd back to life as Missy scooped her up for an inverted atomic drop, grabbing her hand before she could get far and firing her into the corner. Sunny stopped herself before she hit the turnbuckles, but Missy came in from behind and used the middle rope for a springboard into a disaster kick that caught the cult leader and dropped her! She leaned against the ropes, trying to collect herself as Qilin was now on the move. She tried to offer her leader some encouragement from the nearest corner as an orange gloved hand reached out from under the apron as though it were feeling for something.

Zack: Missy finally got an opening, but you can see how much has been taken out of her. She can’t seem to follow up with Sunny, she’s still trying to get herself together.

Linda: Qilin is shouting to Sunny but I’m not sure THERE IT IS ZACK! I think our ninja is under the ring!

The hand found the long piece of twine on the floor that had been tied to the post, which was what it was apparently looking for before it started to slide towards the corner, catching a glimpse of an orange sleeve. Meanwhile, Sunny didn’t quite make it back to her feet before Missy caught her with a roaring elbow right in the jaw when she turned back to face her. It dropped Sunny like a rock before the brunette headed towards the corner, climbing up to the middle rope and executing a diving fist drop into the back of the Korean wrestler’s head. She snatched her up around the waist, executing a German suplex into a bridge as Wilson dove into position as some ringside fans noticed the hand moving towards Qilin.

Zack: A beautiful bridging German suplex, Missy’s going to end it here!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THR-NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Sunny got her shoulder up in time as the referee only held up two fingers. The English beauty rolled to her knees, collecting herself as she got back to her feet. Kenzi continued to rally the crowd from her corner.

Linda: Nothing just yet, and these two have been putting one another through a lot this fight. Surely one would have to be tired out, but Qilin is still going, and Kenzi is looking for support for Missy.

Missy headed for the corner again, this time making her way to the top rope as the crowd was definitely behind her. Kenzi continued to rally them as Missy perched herself, waving her to get back to her feet. As Sunny rose, Missy launched herself into a missile dropkick...but Sunny sidestepped it before she crashed into the mat. Sunny pushed up to her feet before Missy did...and delivered a superkick into her jaw! Missy dropped like a rock as Qilin applauded excitedly from the floor till that hand grabbed her ankle from under the ring!

Linda: Sunny steps out of the trajectory of that missile dropkick, then delivers a superkick of her own to Missy...Hey! That hand has Qilin’s ankle!

As Qilin tried to free her ankle when she felt that hand around it, Sunny crawled towards Missy to make the cover. She hooked both legs in the attempt as Wilson dropped to count.

Zack: Speaking of hands, Wilson’s about to use his to end this match for Sunny!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NOO!!

Missy kicked out before the three came down as Sunny sat up, casting a long glare towards the official. Missy rolled to her stomach, trying to move away from her before Sunny grabbed her feet ad jerked up and right back down into a wheelbarrow facebuster. Qilin was trying to get free as the gloved hand was tying the twine around her foot into a tight knot to keep her right there before it disappeared back under the ring.

Linda: Missy kicks out within an inch of the three count! Sunny uses this time to connect with that wheelbarrow...facebuster...the heck is going on over there?!

Zack: I think Qilin’s ankle has been tied to the ringpost with some twine, I saw her struggling with something over there and now we know!

Sunny moved towards the corner, grinding her foot into the canvas as she shouted Missy to get back to her feet.

Zack: I think Sunny’s setting up for her axe kick! If she nails it, this thing’s over!

Missy began to get up again as Sunny took off towards her, looking for the axe kick as Zack stated. But Missy rolled out of the way. Sunny brought her foot down to the canvas, and turned back to Missy. The brunette grabbed her arm, and jerked her to the canvas to apply her crossface submission! The crowd came to its feet as Sunny was caught now! Wilson dropped down to check for the submission as Kenzi looked on with a smile on her face for her friend.

Zack: She finally got it, Missy’s got her crossface applied and Sunny is in big trouble now!!

Qilin screamed at the referee, causing him to go to her as she pointed out her leg. As he rolled out to free her by kneeling down to untie the twine, Sunny tapped the mat!

Linda: Sunny’s tapping! But Stephen isn’t seeing it because of Qilin’s tied up situation! Which is really weird and all, but get someone else down to the ring so you can see the tapout!

Zack: This is the second time Sunny’s tapped out to that crossface, but it’s also the second time the referee wasn’t around to see it! Wilson’s getting Qilin free over here in the corner, here comes Kenzi!

Grey took off around the corner to get him as the fans were on their feet, trying to get Wilson to get up and see what was going on!

Zack: The fans are trying to tell the referee, Kenzi’s about to do it herself!

Grey jerked him up to his feet and told him to get in the ring as Sunny managed to spin into Missy for a rollup. Wilson slid into the ring to count as Sunny grabbed her tights and kicked both feet up onto the ropes behind her with Missy trying to get free!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

Wilson called for the bell to a ROAR of boos before Sunny managed to get free, rolling to the corner before the referee raised her hand. Qilin clapped excitedly for her leader, and climbed into the ring to join her now that she was free.

Linda: Oh, that’s...yeah. Very good job there, Sunny, very clean finish we just saw. Bravo.

Gaby: The winner of this match by pinfall…………...SUNNY!!!

Zack: Sunny tapped out again, but Wilson never saw it till it was too late! And now she’s got the win here in the rematch! But we saw her tap, the only problem is the referee didn’t!

Sunny rolled out to the floor as Qilin raised her hand, beaming proudly as Kenzi went to check on her friend with a disappointed look for obvious reasons. Wilson rolled out to the floor, and pulled up the apron to see what could have tied up Qilin.

Linda: Sunny and Qilin leave proudly, while Missy leaves with no wins over the former Unity champion. But Missy gave it her all, she just has that ending to leave a bitter taste in her mouth.

Zack: The referee’s investigating what was going on with Qilin getting tied up, I’m curious to see who’s under there myself, Linda!

Linda: So am I, hopefully this doesn’t disappoint...

Wilson went around the corner where the twine was still tied to the post. He lifted the apron on that side, leaning down to look under the ring as even the fans behind the barricade on that side were trying to see as well. As he ducked his head underneath, a smoke bomb went off causing quite a bit of it to usher out from under the ring. Wilson covered his face as he coughed before someone in orange bolted out of the smoke at top speed and took off through the fan entrance doors!

Linda: There she goes! But there’s too much smoke we can’t see who she is! This is getting a little tiresome, Zack!

Zack: I might be wrong, but I think...whoever that is was trying to help keep Qilin in place for this match. It didn’t quite go to plan though. Future Shock’s orange ninja escapes again!

Linda: Was she helping Missy, or was the distraction meant to help Sunny and Qilin was caught in the middle of it? Agh, more and more these questions keep piling up!

From there, Future Shock heads to commercial.

Saving Future Shock

As Future Shock returns from the break, we open now on a choir dressed in black and blue as they sing “SHE’s Got The Whole World In Her Hands” in the background. As they sing, we next see what looks like a trailer park before one by one we see a trio of people talking into a microphone.

Small Boy: Yeah, I saw da Future Shock savior! She came through the other week! Mah grandma had kidney stones, and she touched her...and and...THEY WERE GONE!

An old lady, somewhere in her 80s, nodded behind him.

She’s got the whooooooooooole world in her hands

The next was a man wearing sunglasses and a hat as he spoke into the microphone.

Man: She can save Future Shock! She saved me! I was born blind….but...NOW I SEE!!

He jerked the sunglasses off his face to show a perfectly healthy set of brown eyes as he held up four fingers and shouted again.

Man: I CAN SEE FOUR FINGERS!!

She’s got the whooooooooooole wide world in her hands

The third was a woman sat in a wheelchair as she had the microphone in her hand.

Woman: She gonna save Future Shock...like she saved me! I’ve been in this chair for years...she saved me!

As she said it, the woman popped up out of her wheelchair and did a cartwheel.

She’s got the wind and the rain in her hands
She’s got the whooooooooooooooooooole world in her hands.

As the woman cartwheels away, we cut to a black screen as the choir sings in the background while the following words appear on the screen.

Future Shock needs me. Don’t worry, I can save it too!

As the video fades out, we go back to Zack & Linda who just finished watching the video as well.

Linda: There’s...I’m not sure what to make of that, Zack, other than some savior coming to Future Shock. Kind of left me with the heebie jeebies, though.

Zack: I wasn’t aware Future Shock needed saving. We saw these videos starting at Resistance, and well….I’m not entirely positive what or who is coming...or when.

Linda: Whatever it is, it feels a little unsettling.

A New Era

We cut to ringside after the commercial break where the Los Angeles crowd is cheering with a fair bit of anticipation. As the camera leads up to the ring, the Future Shock Director stands in the center as Gaby offers him a microphone before she exits the ring.

Adam: At Future Shock Resistance, a lot of things went down that have never been seen in any season prior to this or since we restarted. We had a Falls Count Anywhere match that ended in the men’s room. We had a mixed tag match, where no man has competed in a Future Shock ring until then….not that he overwhelmed anyone with his skills. We saw debuts of promising new prospects such as Gillie Barnes and Missy.

Both those names got a fair amount of fanfare as the Director mentioned them.

Adam: We crowned the new Future Shock Cup winner for the year, and I suspect that issue is far from over. For the record, I did offer to replace that Cup, but Cereza wanted to keep it that way. Congratulations to her on yet another achievement in what has been a banner year for her. But of all those things that we saw at Resistance, one achievement stood brightest to me. One woman did, to that point, what a very very select few women can say they’ve done. Becoming the Future Shock Champion is a feat of greatness in and of itself, but doing so by overcoming a woman who has been dominant in this show for well over a year….that’s some next level stuff right there! So I hope you will all join me in welcoming the NEW FFW Future Shock Champion herself…..’MALICIOUS’ MALLORY BENNETT!!

Mallory walks through a curtain towards the center’s ring, and raises the Future Shock championship belt up overhead with a smile. She’s wearing a pair of cutoff jean shorts and an open jean vest with a black shirt underneath. Instead of a formal ‘CASH’ as usually would be on a shirt, she has ‘BENNETT’ on her own in white letters. She rolls into the ring after sliding the championship inside before climbing up to a top turnbuckle and raising it overhead. Once she drops down she shakes Adam’s hand and spares quite a few warm words of thanks, grinning ear-to-ear.

Mallory: That was... Well, that was quite a warm welcome Adam, thank you. Thank you guys here at the Future Shock Center for that welcome as well.

She gets a pleasant response right back.

Mallory: Well... Look. Love her or hate her, Isis Morales did make the Future Shock championship something to keep an eye on. She wasn’t the most pleasant woman and I don’t regret coming down off the turnbuckle as many times as I had to, to actually keep her down, much less trying to survive her but... What she did for this title, I promise I’m gonna do my best to continue to do that for this brand. Especially because what it represents. There’s nothing at all like Future Shock anywhere else in FFW and few come to mind elsewhere.

Adam: I couldn’t agree more. It’s why I made arrangements, as you know, for you and Cereza to represent this show..this brand...at Global Wars when you defend the championship against her that night. She earned a shot by winning the Cup, and both of you will be representing Future Shock to a lot of fans who may not be watching it but do watch the main roster. Both of you deserve it, and I’m sure everyone here and watching will be supporting you both at Global Wars.

The champion nodded slowly before looking down at the title.

Mallory: Just a division it ain’t, am I right?

Mal looks around at the crowd, around the ring and spoke a little louder into the microphone.

Mallory: AM I RIGHT!?

This time she gets a louder response from the crowd within the center, nodding with a smile before the former mechanic continues.

Mallory: I think, not saying I do, but I think I speak for Cereza when I say that we’re going to pull out all the stops to potentially steal the show and be match burned into everyone’s memory by the time Global Wars is over and in the books. You made sure to put us there and we won’t let you down at all Adam. What happened to the Cup... Well, I do understand why Cereza would want to keep it that way, but no matter what, there’s nothing that’s going to take away from the fact that come Global Wars, she’s first up for a shot at this title and I can’t think of anyone who would deserve it more. I know that Bianca is looming in the distance no matter how this goes, but I’m just gonna focus on one opponent and one match at a time. As far as Cereza goes, personally I think she’s an awesome person and has a very tenacious spirit. She won’t have to worry about anything but a good, clean and hard-fought fight when she and I share the ring and I’ll be looking out for that Bouncer Drop every single step of the way. With Isis gone, the door has been opened for all challengers it feels like. I know Anna’s already got an eye on me...

Adam: The line grows long for a shot at the champion, Mallory. Like you say, you already know Bianca is looming. She’ll face the champion at Whiplash in February. You already mentioned Anna, who’s ready to go back there right now. But we can’t forget about Andi, who was shut out as long as Isis was champion. Also she’s only two matches away from being able to use the Aspire Ring to challenge you...I’m talking about Ji-Hu Myeong.

The Malicious one nods slowly in agreement of Bianca, Anna, Andi, one by one as Adam mentions them... And her face completely faults at the mention of Ji-Hu.

Mal: Yeah... It isn’t lost on me that in just two more matches, Ji-Hu and... Max Sato will be knocking on my door sooner rather than later. I might have to find a manager by then it’s looking like, or at least some sort of ringside presence but I won’t discount her at all, even with Max... Well, doing what he does. He can spare me the repeated ‘honkey’ insults for that matter. Even still Adam, I’m ready to take on all comers and then some. In the new year I’m looking forward to a lot of new fights and battles over this championship, being a part of them if I can help it and getting to see them if I’m not. Its a new era in Future Shock.

Adam shakes her hand again to the delight of the crowd before the show cuts over to the indoor go-kart track for the upcoming challenge.

The next image we see emanates from an indoor go-kart track as we see the five women competing in the race tonight checking out their various colored go karts.

Zack: You’re looking at a live shot from K-1 Racing, a local indoor go kart track we’ve rented out for tonight’s show. These challenges have always been popular with our fans, and tonight we have a widely varied cast of women about to compete, four Prospects and one Alumni.

Linda: Not only will this be that alumnist’s first challenge competing in Future Shock, but it’s also marking the debut of an old trainee of mine, one Alicia Garland. Although she seemed very...strange.

The cameras watch as each of the girls climbs into their go-karts, and applies their safety equipment. Freya, Carmen, and Alicia get in without a problem, but Sienna is shown pointing to Katie’s go-kart, telling one of the staff she wants that car. Katie isn’t paying her much attention as she’s putting a safety helmet on.

Linda: What...what’s Sienna doing? The vehicles all operate the same way, share the same weight and everything, why would she want Katie’s cart?

Zack: They’re all exactly the same, just different colors so they are easier or our fans at home to follow the race. Freya’s got the purple, Alicia in pink, Carmen in green, and apparently Sienna wants the red one Katie was given instead of the blue one.

Linda: This is like watching a spoiled child want a different colored lollipop another child is licking away at. It’s...pathetic.

Sienna gets tired of detailing her problems with the official before she heads over and shoves Katie over the backside of her go-kart to the ground before stepping into the red one herself. She quickly starts the engine, causing Katie to bolt out of the way as she nearly backed over her. Day headed for the blue go-kart, lips pursed against her teeth as she got inside the blue kart.

Linda: Well...as always, Sienna gets her way. Katie doesn’t look happy about it either, and who can blame her? She was just going to the kart she was instructed to.

Zack: As we already said, all the karts are exactly alike, fans. The only difference between them is the color of each. Sienna wants red, and I think she was about to run Katie over there.

After everyone is in their karts, the engines begin to rev as they are lined up side by side at the starting line. The official heads towards the front of the track, holding the green flag at his side before raising it above his head. All five cars took off from there….except one. Sienna, Alicia, Carmen, and Freya drove away as Katie couldn’t get the blue car to move until one of the officials found something wedged under her wheel. He told her to back up a couple feet before he pulled a brick up off the track as Katie blazed past him!

Linda: I’m starting to see why Sienna wanted Katie’s kart now. But when did that brick get put there?! Do we have replay on that?!

Zack: I doubt it, but Katie’s barreling towards the pack now. Luckily they caught it early, and we’re off to the races. Three laps to finish, fans!

As the pack began to pick up speed, Alicia and Carmen started to take a bit of a lead in the first lap. The Venezuelan beauty started to edge ahead as Alicia glanced over to her with a smile..before slamming into the side of her kart and pulling back before looking like it was an accident despite the fact she was starting to pick up speed. Freya & Sienna were running neck and neck behind them with the veteran shooting a bird to Sienna and start to pull ahead. Meanwhile at the rear, Katie’s face tightened as she gained quickly.

Zack: Alicia is in the lead after slamming Carmen then looking like she didn’t mean to do it. Freya & Sienna don’t like each other as we know from Twitter, and Katie Day is not a happy girl!

Linda: We’ve seen Alicia’s promo, Zack, there’s something that makes me believe it was no accident. But currently she has little to worry about as Sienna and Freya are picking a fight and Katie picks herself back up to speed. She’s quite determined to get out of the back!

Alicia started to pull into the lead as they completed the first turn on the oval track with Carmen starting to gain on her. Gutierrez drove to the inside, picking up traction as she began to move ahead. Alicia barreled into her again, driving her into the wall as Sienna bumped Alicia from behind. That gave Carmen the lead before Freya slammed into the back of Sienna that caused her to hit Alicia again. All this slamming gave Katie an opening as she zoomed past the slowing cars and pulled to second behind Carmen.

Linda: Carmen’s taken the lead after Sienna and Freya started bumping into one another and Alicia, and with all of them caught in a conga Katie’s able to sneak past them and make for second place!

Zack: This is about the most angry race I’ve seen since we began doing these. We’re just now finishing the first lap, and we’ve already had a few collisions.

With Carmen & Katie in the first two spots, Freya managed to get around Alicia to get into third place. Alicia & Sienna were tied for last as they ran side by side behind the veteran. As the second lap began, the placement stayed very similar with Sienna and Alicia still in dead last. Freya began to close in on Katie, her kart starting to get faster now as she was practically right on her rear side. Alicia began to pull ahead into fourth place until Sienna went to the inside of the track, reaching for something before throwing it out of her kart. It was a handkerchief that flew into Alicia’s face, causing her to nearly veer off the track till she got her vision cleared with Sienna now solidly in fourth. And once more, Sienna began to ram into Freya’s bumper, causing her to hit Katie like a domino. It slowed the karts down enough as Moore went to the inside again and pulled halfway between Freya & Katie’s karts.

Linda: And once more Sienna isn’t playing fair with anyone as she’s thrown a handkerchief into Alicia’s eyes and now bumping into Freya and Katie. I’d argue what she’s doing is illegal, but, well, Mario Kart logic.

Freya and Katie both realized who was on the inside between them before they started driving into Sienna. Both karts slammed her into the wall, causing a few sparks to shoot out before they’d pull back...and do it again!

Zack: Look at that, Freya nor Katie like Sienna! And they are introducing her and that kart into the wall again and again. Carmen’s still leading, but Alicia’s starting to gain on the trio ahead of her.

Linda: If you’ll pardon my French, Zack, it seems everyone is out of fucks when it comes to Sienna. This could be the break Alicia needs to get back into the lead, however.

Alicia pulled up alongside Freya on the other side as the three women were now tied for third as Katie started to pull away. Sienna started to return the favor, driving into Freya who then went into Alicia who went into the wall. As Freya and Alicia rebounded, Sienna slipped into the third place and gaining on Katie quickly. With the second turn coming up, Alicia and Freya separated and looked to be trying to get close to Sienna on either side. Katie veered high on the track to get away from them, gaining on the still leading Carmen. Freya and Alicia flanked Sienna, looking to clamshell around her. But as they were about to drive into her on either side, Moore pulled ahead of them again and went up, slamming into Katie and driving her into the wall.

Linda: ...Is it sad I’m disappointed Sienna didn’t get crushed by those two, Zack?

Zack: Just like Resistance, I have a feeling Adam’s gonna need to cut another check for damages by the time this is over. Last lap, folks!

The third lap began with Katie and Sienna neck and neck with Alicia & Freya tied for third place behind them. Carmen didn’t have a very good lead as both Katie and Sienna were gaining on her without a lot of trouble at this point. Sienna resumed her earlier tactic, slamming the kart into Katie’s side and pushing her up into the wall. Sparks flew of the wall as Katie tried to lean away from them in her seat, so as not to get hit with them. Moore used that to pull ahead in front of her, now with Alicia & Freya gaining on Katie in a three way tie for third.

Linda: Sienna is looming on Carmen for that first place spot now, and much like the crowd I don’t think I’m willing to accept that possibility. Someone in the back needs to put the pedal to the metal, and STAT.

As Sienna pulled up alongside Carmen’s back tires, she seemed to be reaching for something before she managed to touch something to Gutierrez’s rear right tire. As soon as she did, Gutierrez began losing speed quickly, allowing Sienna to pass her and take the lead. The other three karts passed her too, as Gutierrez looked behind her to see her tire had been punctured!

Zack: Wait a minute….did you see that? What the hell did Sienna do to that tire?!

Linda: It looks like she might have stabbed it with a pin needle or something, the air’s coming out and deflating the tire!

The three cars behind Sienna all seemed to line up, glancing between them as if there was some unspoken agreement as they slammed the gas and quickly began trying to gain on Sienna. With Freya behind her, Katie and Alicia began to try to flank her on either side into the second turn and gain speed quickly.

Zack: It’s like they’ve all agreed without saying a word, and the general consensus is to take Sienna out of this race right now!

Linda: Everyone really IS out of fucks to give with her, and I’m not as surprised as you’d think.

Katie went down to the inside with Alicia on the high side, Sienna in the middle of them both while Freya was trying to get between both Katie and Sienna’s karts. The finish line was in sight as a second view showed what was in Carmen’s tire...a small screwdriver. Meanwhile, the four racers were practically neck and neck barreling towards the finish line!

Linda: From another perspective we can see Sienna’s weapon of choice in deflating Carmen’s tire, and...screw Mario Kart logic, that’s not even legal in game! The other four racers are getting close to crossing the line, and it almost COULD be a photo finish!

As the four women blazed past the line, the official waved the race over as the drivers began to slow down. Two more officials came onto the track, conversing between them before one raised Katie’s hand as she got out of the kart. The other raised Sienna’s hand, and a third raised Alicia’s hand. They all gave each other a curious look, and met again to discuss it once more.

Zack: From your lips to God’s ear, we got three officials and all of them have a different answer here.

Linda: If only he had listened to half the country a week ago...but I digress. This apparently came too close to call for the winner, so...

The three officials continued to discuss as Katie & Alicia both gave Moore a long hard stare until one of the officials waved for someone. Another figure walked into the shot with a tablet in his hand.

Zack: I’m being told that we do have an image taken at the finish line that the official is reviewing on that tablet. We may have a winner yet!

Linda: Everyone’s waited on bated breath to see who wins this challenge. I can’t think of a go-kart race ever being called this closely.

Each of the three judges gathered around the tablet, looking down at the image. They each shared a few words, nodding their heads in seeming agreement. The fourth judge with the tablet headed off camera as the other three judges waved the three winners over. Katie and Alicia lined up with Sienna taking a few steps away from them.

Linda: It seems all three judges have reached an agreement, and we’ll hear the winner in a brief moment. Hopefully we’ll have the snapshot up in time for the fans attending and viewers at home to see and judge for themselves.

The photo appeared on the bottom half of the screen showing one go kart ahead literally by a couple inches as the winner’s hand was raised….

Zack: That’s like two inches difference, and we got a winner!

The official raised the hand of Sienna Moore to deafening boos in the Center watching.

Linda: Nope...nope I’m right there with them. Second Tuesday in a row the people feel screwed...speaking of which, how’s Carmen’s vehicle holding up?

Carmen looked none too pleased, staring daggers as she approached the others on the track. Alicia seemed to be muttering something to herself as Katie’s chest rose and fell, clearly very angry at this point. Sienna quickly began to take off the safety gear, and head for the exit as quickly as possible.

Zack: Yeah, I’d leave too, Sienna. Next time we do this challenge, we are going to need to frisk all the participants beforehand. Sienna Moore steals tonight’s go kart challenge!

Linda: Wait, you mean to say frisking isn’t the STANDARD, Zack?! These are WRESTLERS we’re dealing with here! Why would you not...ugh...

We head back to the Center from there, with Zack & Linda in the booth.

Zack: Well we’ve never had to before now. Last time, Dom Harter got involved with a bowl of fruit. But no one came in packing tools.

Linda: Yes, I’m aware of Dom’s banana peel that may have cost my sister the race. But once again Sienna makes herself a karma houdini and avoids proper punishment. This could get quite annoying.

Zack: Be glad Cory wasn’t there, she’d have probably thrown him in front of one of the karts as it was speeding past.

Linda: She did almost run over Katie, I’m surprised then and there the refs didn’t decry her unfit to race.

Zack: Fans, let’s take you to a regular feature here at Future Shock….This Week In Wrestling!

The music starts playing with a series of hazy looking technicolor clips that slowly meld into black and white clips of professional wrestling, both women and men of days long past...

Gillie: Welcome to “This Week In Wrestling” With Gillie Barnes... Brought to you by Plunder Pack. Plunder Pack comes filled with all sorts of shirts, toys, and memorabilia from your favorite brands. This month’s theme is ‘GALAXY’. You can get shirts, board games, posters and more with the space theme going. Plundering. It's not just for pirates anymore...

The prospect cleared her throat.

Gillie: Let’s not even waste time. The year? 1982. The place? Mexico City, Mexico. Among lucha libre tales, there stands one wrestler who was feared and well known far and wide. Not for his wrestling acumen, though a great wrestler he was of course. Not for his charismatic turn of phrase, or whether he struck terror in the hearts of his enemies or valor in the hearts of his allies. He was known simply as the ‘Man of a thousand faces’, or ‘El hombre de mil caras’... Because when it came to the dramatic match known as the Luchas de Apuestas... He never lost. Perhaps we’re getting ahead of ourselves.

The film footage starts on Future Shock prospect Gillie Barnes dressed in a tartan skirt with a white blouse as she holds up a wrestling mask. It looks fairly generic, an off-red color with black stitching. Nothing more advanced or eye-catching such as the likes of Andi Takata or at one point, Leona Vega. It is fairly unimpressive, even generic in its look.

Gillie: For those who do not know, the Luchas de Apuestas or ‘Betting match’ is where two wrestlers will make a public bet on how their match ends. The most common forms, especially in lucha libre are hair-versus-hair, mask-versus-hair, and of course... mask-versus-mask. This mask I have in my hand right now belonged to one of the oldest veteran luchadors of all time, a man by the name of ‘Gran Cazador’.

A dropkick here, a hurricanrana there, a tope here... There... Quite literally everywhere. The man in the almost generic looking mask does not have the most impressive build to him as he walks down to the ring with a veneer of calm. Quite the contrary, he’s got a bit of pudge going for him and looks as though the words ‘do you even lift?’ has been as lost on him as the annals of time. Yet the same man in the ring moves circles, followed by triangles and hexagons around his opponents, one after the next without a single moment of hesitation. Before they can blink twice he is already above them and bringing them down with ease. Again, and again, and again. The clips begin to blend together of the referees all sliding into place and making the count of one-two-three as he is victorious time and time again.

Gille: For twenty-five years Gran Cazador was a veteran of the squared circle. His win-loss record wasn’t as impressive as it looks... Unless one counted his apuestas record. If that was the case... This was where he earned his nickname, ‘El hombre de mil caras’.

We get an older wrestler on camera, who has appeared on a previous ‘This Week In Wrestling’, as Marcos Diablo Jr. His mask is still a stark white save for green and red accents. Time and age have certainly kept up with him, but he speaks with such vigor.

Diablo Jr.: Gran Cazador... When it came to putting the honor of the luchador on the line, he was unbeatable. I do believe that he was as a good as many thought he was in the beginning. You would have to be to have won over five-hundred of these matches. Around match number one hundred however, I think that is when talent gave way to superstition. A luchador... For us who wear the mask, it means so much to us, so imagine trying to defeat a man who is the undefeatable in a match like this. For some, they were on there way out and thought to themselves, ‘Why not yes? If I win I shall go down in history as the man who destroyed the living legend, if I lose then I was already ready to hang up my boots.’ Others of course wanted to keep their identity secret all the way to the grave and would call it foolhardy. Again I believe it was fear that beat a majority of them. Nerves. So many before you had failed... What would make you any different?

Gillie: To be precise, Gran Cazador won five-hundred and forty of these matches. Coming out of retirement at least six times in 1981 to claim a few more to make it an even forty, formerly being thirty-four. Of course... He would come out of retirement one more time and this... Would be the last time.

The video footage shows a much older Gran Cazador, though a proud look on his face as he stares out to the crowd and waves. Its obvious he has come out of retirement once more. If he hadn’t been in any great shape in his prime, he looks to be of poorer condition even now. He leaned up against the ropes, and even through his mask one could see beads of sweat trailing in his eye holes.

Gillie: November 14th, 1982... LLL or Legendary Lucha Libre is hosting an event of great magnitude and one of its biggest matches is the return of Gran Cazador. We have last count of course at this point how many times there’s been a return but that’s not the important part. Cazador has answered a challenge from an anonymous luchador who has been stating time and time again that they would face him and succeed where no one else had. That they would be the one... To claim the mask of Gran Cazador. Of course for Cazador, this talk had been repeated time and time and time and time again. He stood in the ring and beckoned his challenger on... Only to learn that it was his own nephew... Gran Cazador Jr.

The footage cuts to Gran Cazador staring in... Horror at a much more younger and fit wrestler standing in front of him. A similar mask to Cazador, Jr.’s was black with red stitching and a cross down against the cheek.

Diablo Jr.: Gran Cazador had been ruthless in claiming mask after mask of his opponents. As time wore on, he stopped trying to convince them that it was a suicide mission to face him. He reveled in it in the end I believe. Proud to be known as ‘El hombre de mil caras’, to snuff out so many careers... But this was family... This was... His downfall.

Gillie: It... Didn’t last even half the time it was expected. Gran Cazador got very little offense in, as Cazador Jr. beat him quite handily and got the pin for the one-two-three. Cazador Jr.’s hand was raised and he was ever proud but... Something was wrong. Gran Cazador never got back up. First came the referee to check on him, then his own nephew. The fact that he was to unmask now, completely forgotten.

The camera begins to close-up on the mask in Gillie’s hand, likely in imitation of Gran Cazador.

Gillie: ...For you see, Gran Cazador... Had a heart attack. He was rushed to the hospital immediately and after a great struggle, he was pronounced dead by the doctors. Cazador Jr., feeling as though it was shock that had done this to the old man stopped wrestling entirely and that was pretty much the end of it. Some wrestlers truly do believe that their fate, or that it would be entirely poetic for them to die in the ring... But there doesn’t seem to be any poetry I think, about an ending to a wrestler’s rich history in this. Nonetheless...

We cut to the corridor that Gillie has hung up the many photos of legendary wrestlers and moments in time. In her hands now is a framed photo of the legendary Gran Cazador as she eyes up a perfect spot on the wall. With a nod, she hangs the photo and takes a few steps back.

Gillie: Gran Cazador... For your legendary status as a luchador and indomitable record in Luchas de Apuestas... We salute you! My name is Gillie Barnes... And this has been “This Week In Wrestling”. Until next time, Faithful.

Fade to black.

Enter Caitlyn

A video package begins to play showing a slim but very fit blonde going through some exercise techniques with a class full of adults. Then it shifts to nightfall where that same woman is shown in sweats running up and down the steps leading to an office building. It shifts back to day, where we find her now working with young children trying to teach them about healthy foods. Then back to night, she’s found in a ring surrounded by three sparring partners. She waves them forward as one goes to grab her, prompting her to grab his arm and snap it over her shoulder before a back heel kick to the jaw takes him down. The other two come at her next before she leaves her feet, executing a headscissors on one and into a DDT with the other to bring them both down to the canvas.

Female Voice: “When you have a dream in life, you totally commit yourself to achieving it.”

The next image we see is a pair of short walls not more than a few feet apart as the blonde looks between them and jumps onto one wall, then to the other, back and forth scaling both walls before she reaches the top with a smile on her face.

Female Voice: “I’ve been working towards this opportunity for a long time. I’ve scaled all the obstacles in my way.”

Back to video of the blonde working with her fitness class, now seated on a large rubber ball with them as they start to bounce in place, bringing a grin to her face.

Female Voice: “Gotta have a little fun sometimes. Don’t get me wrong though….I’m ready.”

The final image shows her adjusting her top with the camera behind her, putting on her gloves, and then turning towards the camera with her hair in a ponytail.

“There’s no obstacle I can’t overcome. My name’s Caitlyn Storm. I’m ready for Future Shock...but can Future Shock ‘Weather the Storm’.

A roundhouse kick into the camera sends us back to the live show.

Orange Determination

A clip from Future Shock Resistance is shown, where we see the mixed tag match between Ji-Hu & Max Sato facing Linda Ragnal and Harley Shannon. We also see the use of the ring bell that helped secure Ji-Hu and Max the victory. From there, we head somewhere inside the Center and find Sara with Harley.

Sara: Those of you who ordered Resistance saw a wild tag match that barely began in the ring, which you saw on the clip. I’m here with Harley Shannon, who along with Linda, gave a very game performance that night but ended up short, thanks to the ring bell. Harley, now that you’ve had time to reflect, any thoughts on your tag match at Resistance?

Harley: Obviously it’s disappointing to come away with another loss against Ji-Hu and Sato - especially in the manner that we did. With more bullshit from that egotistical jackass masquerading as a manager. I’m sorry to Linda that I couldn’t get there for her...that I wasn’t there to stop it. And I apologise to everyone who wanted to see Sato get everything that he deserved in that match and have him shut up once and for all. I wish we could’ve gotten the job done. But I guess I just have to try and treat it as a learning experience; as an opportunity to get better and refine my strategy for the next time that I’m out there in the ring. For the next time that I’ve got the shot at the pair of them.

Sara: Well that won’t be long. Adam placed a poll on Twitter recently asking about the main event for the next Future Shock. And the response was definitive. As voted by the fans, the Aspire Ring will be on the line as you face Ji-Hu AND Sophia Pike in a triple threat match in 2 weeks.

Harley puffed out her cheeks and blew out a sigh.

Harley: I’m going to have an awful lot of support in that match aren’t I? And two people in the ring that will do anything to make sure that they leave with that ring, including and not limited to trying to temporarily cripple me. I mean one is ambitious; who treats every week that she’s a part of this great institution, wrestling in these amazing surroundings and in front of these great fans as a deeply wounding insult and another that’s more than a little bit arrogant, thinks that this will be a walk over match and the Aspire ring is some God given right. Oh, yeah...and there’s going to be a guy on the outside looking to screw over anyone that’s not providing him with a ticket on the gravy train. I’m up against it. It’s a challenge that I will have to rise to. And I’m going to do it. I’m going to win and I’m going to reclaim the Aspire Ring after the shenanigans that occurred to deprive me of it in the first place.

Sara: It’s funny you say that. Ji-Hu has stated publicly she doesn’t agree that you nor Sophia even deserve to face her because she’s beaten you both soundly in one on one matches with the ring on the line. I assume you would not agree?

Harley: She would say that though wouldn’t she? People like her gloss over the fact that they rely on outside influences and that they enjoy all the advantages of a handicap match whenever they step into the ring with their delusional manager in their corner. When they’re doing things like holding ring ropes JUST out of reach of a woman in a submission. Or sliding a bell into the ring. But hey, that’s okay, right? Some people just need ‘moral support’. Some people just can’t get the job done without a cheerleader in their corner. But Karma’s a bitch aint it? What goes around, comes around and it’ll wind up biting them in the ass sooner rather than later.

Sara: We’ll find out soon enough on the next episode in the main event triple threat for the Aspire Ring. This will be Ji-Hu’s second defense of the ring. If she gets past this and one more, she can get a shot at the Future Shock Champion. Or with five wins, she can go to the main roster. Good luck to you, Harley.

A graphic shows us that match scheduled for the next show before we fade to commercial.

The next image is that of Gabrielle Crimson stepping into the ring once again with her microphone in hand.

Gaby: The following contest is your main event of the evening scheduled for one fall!

Zack: At Resistance, Anna Giovanna made herself clear. Her mission statement is simple: destroy Ascension and become the Future Shock Champion! Adam wasted no time in giving her a chance to start towards that goal as the fans voted with an 80% margin for Anna’s return...TONIGHT!

Linda: And I do believe everyone is looking forward to Anna giving Valentina her just desserts, although you have to wonder how she’s doing at this time. She oddly wasn’t herself at Velocity last week.

As Lozano headed towards the ring, she got nothing but boos from the crowd. Climbing up onto the ring apron, she glanced over to referee Stephen Wilson before turning to antagonize the crowd a little more.

Gaby: Introducing first, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada representing Ascension…...VALENTINA LOZANO!!!!!!

Linda: Oh, right. I almost forgot that Stephen is reffing all of the matches tonight. Should I just get my frustrations out of the way now or wait until he does something, Zack?

Zack: He was completely fair in our opening match, despite having to contend with outside forces he couldn’t have predicted. But there are no managers in this match, so I say let the man do his job.

Linda: ...That’s what everyone’s been saying since last week, Zack...and much like THAT situation...

The murmur in the crowd turned into a roar as the blonde fighter stepped out from the back in her ring gear. The fans in the Center gave her a very loud reaction as she cracked her knuckles and started power walking towards the ring.

Fans: AN-NA! AN-NA! AN-NA!!

Gaby: And her opponent …returning TONIGHT from San Diego, California via Naples, Italy…and weighing in tonight at one hundred and fifty-five pounds…she is that YOUNG KNOCKOUT KID…ANNAAAAAAAAAAA…GIOVANNAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Zack: We haven’t seen Anna in a ring since Unstoppable when Isis gave her a concussion in front of about 70,000 live witnesses that night! And can you tell they missed her?!

Linda: Absolutely, Zack, I haven’t hear this loud and welcoming a return to the ring in a long time! But Anna has earned it, certainly.

As soon as she steps into the ring, Anna doesn’t wait for the bell or the referee to start the match before she charges Valentina, shoving her back into the corner before unloading with a flurry of body shots one after another to the delight of the crowd. The blonde fires her across the ring to the far corner. As Valentina catches herself before hitting the corner, Anna barrels in behind her and catches her with an elbow to the back of her head. It sends Lozano forward before Anna spins her around, and catches Val with an uppercut that drops her into the corner before Giovanna looks at the referee.

Anna: RING THE BELL!

The referee did just that as Anna turned her attention back to Valentina as Gaby quickly exited the ring.

Linda: Wow! WOW! I...honestly welcome Anna to attack Valentina as she did! No waiting for the bell, that girl is ready to knock Valentina down several pegs.

Zack: Anna had to sit at home in San Diego and watch Ascension run roughshod through Future Shock, and she couldn’t do anything about it. Well she’s cleared now...and she’s damn sure doing something about it!

Giovanna jerked Val to her feet by the arm, and into a short knee in the ribs. Giovanna shouted in anger as she started hammering clubbing blows with both hands into Val’s back again and again and again and again, picking up speed after each shot till she literally pounded Valentina down to the mat. The crowd ate it up as she took off towards the far side ropes, leaving her feet on the rebound and executed a diving headbutt into her back as she tried to get up.

Zack: Like a tent spike, Anna Giovanna literally pounded Valentina into the canvas and one big headbutt kept her there!

Valentina rolled out to the floor, clutching her back in pain as Anna shook her head and rolled out onto the floor to go after her.

Linda: It seems to be too much for Valentina as she’s stepped outside of the ring for a reprieve. Anna’s not about to let her slip out just yet, although I think she might want to be careful with her head considering she just came back from a concussion...

Anna landed around the corner, taking off with a burst of speed as she blazed past Valentina with a running bulldog into the steps! It rocked the steps in place before Anna rolled to her feet, listening to the very loud fans supporting her before she went back to the other corner again. Valentina began to sit up against the steps before Anna charged again with a massive knee right to her head, crunching it against the steps and literally moving them a couple inches off the impact!

Linda: Anna is using those steps to her advantage, blasting Valentina’s head into them! I’m actually surprised Stephen isn’t reading her the riot act for making use of it in this match.

Zack: He may be afraid of her, and I can’t say I blame him if he is! Anna is absolutely on fire here, and is beating the hell out of Valentina and they love it in the Center!

Linda: Considering how much Valentina loves to talk about dominating, and not doing that much, I wouldn’t fault them. But it’s less about her and more the season 19 champion coming back to kick ass!

Anna pulled her to her feet and threw her back into the ring before hopping up onto the apron herself, once more taking in the support of the crowd as the referee was counting her out inside the ring. Lozano headed for the corner, crawling away from Anna as the blonde stepped back into the ring. Giovanna stalked towards her as she tried to get up, only for Valentina to duck her head through the ropes...but Anna didn’t let that stop her as she continuously pounded shots into her back repeatedly. Each shot rocked her as Wilson was counting her down in the corner since Valentina was in the ropes. When he got to four, he pulled Anna back as not to disqualify her before the blonde spun around him with a right cocked and ready to unload!

Linda: Stephen, trust me on this: It’s just best to leave Anna to let out her anger. Think of it as anger management only your head might end up on a platter. He IS trying not to be sneaky, I’ll give him that...

Zack: Wilson taking his life in his own hands right here, Anna’s fired up enough to take on most of the locker room right now! He could have disqualified her a couple times already!

Anna glared into the referee’s face, causing him to back up and remind her he’s the referee. As this transpires, Valentina pulls the top turnbuckle pad off and throws it to the floor. She grabs Anna around the waist from behind, and sends her flying with a belly to back overhead suplex that sends Anna’s head into the exposed turnbuckle on the way down. The boos begin anew as Valentina drops to her knees, trying to get herself together as Anna holds the back of her head on the mat.

Zack: While Anna was debating whether or not to lay out the referee, Valentina took full advantage of that. And a nasty suplex sends her head into the exposed corner!

Linda: It was unfortunately the opening Valentina needed, and she made the most of it. Was that even in the ref’s line of vision? It almost had to be.

Wilson gave Valentina some verbal static before he rolled out of the ring to retrieve the padding. Lozano pulled off some of her wrist tape, wrapping it around Anna’s neck a couple times to choke her with one hand before wrapping her arm around her neck with the other to look like a headlock. Wilson came back in, and began to place the pad back where it belonged as Valentina choked the life out of Anna.

Linda: Okay, at this point I’m almost ready to admit Stephen isn’t being paid to do these things by Valentina. He’s outright that unaware of his surroundings.

The referee dropped down in front of them, seeing the seeming headlock until he heard Anna gasping for air before he reached under Valentina’s arm to check for a choke. When he jerked his hand back with her tape wrapped around it, he got to his feet and really started shouting at her as she got back to her feet.

Linda: Ah, good! It’s about time he came to his senses. Valentina is being given a good talking down now after trying to choke Anna with her wrist tape. And believe me, I’m about tired of that act...

Zack: If anyone would be, it’d be you! Either way, the referee is definitely not taking any crap from Valentina Lozano.

Valentina said something back to him, but it wasn’t seen since the camera was showing Wilson’s face as he read her the riot act. She brushed past him, pulling Anna up by the hair and planting her head between her legs and delivering a piledriver into the canvas. Lozano rolled onto her back, pulling her head up with one hand and firing forearm shots across her face with the other arm. The boos only grew in volume at this point. Lozano rose to her feet, telling her she was about to get her second concussion.

Linda: And the crowd is getting louder at Valentina for that remark, not that dropping her on her head with a piledriver was winning her over any fans, to be honest.

Zack: Anna just came back from a concussion, Lozano says she’ll have another tonight. She’d love nothing more than to put Anna back on the injured reserve.

Lozano pulled her knee pad down around her ankle, bouncing off the near side and delivering a knee drop into her head. She quickly mounted her chest, firing fists on both sides as Anna pulled her arms up to try to deflect the shots as best she could. The brunette finally got to her feet, pulling Anna up and driving her down with a brainbuster before hooking the outside leg for a cover. Wilson slid into position.

Zack: Val’s focusing entirely on Anna’s head, she thinks there’s blood in the water like a shark!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THR-NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Anna kicked out after two as Valentina started back to her feet. Lozano pressed her boot against Anna’s face, telling her to lick her boot.

Linda: Just grab her leg and sweep her onto her back, Anna. Grab her leg and sweep her onto her back, come on...

Sadly for Linda, Anna didn’t do that before Val finally dropped a leg across her head. The Ascension founder wrapped her legs around Anna into a headscissors, starting to squeeze as tightly as she could. Wilson dropped to ask Anna if she wanted to submit, but he couldn’t have heard her anyway as part of Val’s leg was covering most of her face. Lozano pushed up onto her hands, trying to get even more pressure out of the hold.

Linda: Valentina has Anna locked tightly in that headscissors, and even with her leg in front of Anna’s mouth you can tell the Italian fighter isn’t ready to submit.

Zack: Lozano’s power is firmly entrenched in those legs of hers, she’d tell you that herself. And she’s trying to pop Anna’s head like a pimple here.

Lozano tried to tighten up again….before she started screaming in pain. She pounded the mat with her fist before she finally broke the hold, and rolled away to see a bitemark on her thigh with a couple little drops of blood. Valentina rubbed that leg as she got back to her feet, looking over to see Anna on her knees and spitting out a little of that blood onto the canvas before telling Valentina to bring it!

Linda: Anna using her mouth to break skin on Valentina and break the hold! That was a bit unorthodox, but it WAS right in front of her. Also, I’d...I’d make sure Valentina’s blood is healthy...just saying...

Zack: Anna just spit out some of Valentina’s blood, and she’s telling her to bring it!

Lozano stormed forward as Anna got to her feet, starting to unload with shots into her chest and then into the side of her head again and again and again. When she stopped, Anna punched herself in the jaw and told her to do it again! Lozano’s eyes widened as Anna started shaking in place!

Linda: Anna just...she actually punched herself. This is not a pretty side to Ms. Giovanna, is it.

Valentina went for a haymaker shot, only for Anna to duck under it and surprise her with an inverted atomic drop that reeled her for a moment. Anna snatched her up by that same leg she bit, and then hurled her with a leg hook Saito suplex. The strawberry blonde fighter rolled back to her knees, pounding the mat before turning her elbow pad inside out to the golden side of it. Lozano started back to her feet again, turning as Anna charged forward with a rolling elbow into the side of her head that dropped Lozano like a rock! Anna dropped across her to make the cover.

Zack: That’s the GOLDEN ELBOW!!  Vanessa Cade’s protege just rattled Lozano’s molars right there, and this is closer to the end than the beginning, folks!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NO!

Valentina got her leg across the bottom rope, causing Wilson to hold up two fingers. Anna shot a death glare towards him till he pointed towards the leg still draped against the rope.

Linda: O-Okay Anna, no need to be upset, Stephen actually made the RIGHT call there...

Zack: This is the fairest match he’s called in weeks, and Anna’s ready to lay him out anyway!

Giovanna started back to her feet, dropping back to one knee before she began to drive her fist into the mat again and again and again, faster like a piston almost before she jumped to her feet and screamed at Valentina to get up! She looked at her knuckles, which were now busted open as she waved Lozano to get up.

Linda: Anna is...she’s a woman possessed by revenge, Zack! This is actually taking an unpretty turn, but she looks to want this over with now!

Valentina finally made it to her feet before Anna launched across towards her, bringing her down with a Superman punch. Lozano staggered against the ropes, which is the only thing that kept her from falling down right back into Anna’s grip. She planted her with a Future Shock DDT, keeping a grip on her arms before snapping on a kimura with a body scissors!

Zack: That’s SIGMA-16!!

Linda: Anna doesn’t want to just win by pinfall, she’s looking to humiliate Valentina by forcing her to tap!

Valentina shouted in pain as Anna’s face contorted in anger, almost as though she were about to take her arm off. Lozano held on as long as she could before she finally tapped out. Wilson immediately called for the bell as the fans came to their feet in unison. Anna broke the hold, rolling to her feet as the referee raised her hand.

Linda: There we have it! Anna has toppled one of two remaining members of the Ascension. Just one more to go.

Gaby: Your winner by submission………..ANNA GIOVANNA!!!!!!!!!!

Zack: Anna wasn’t interested in a knockout, she wanted to make Valentina quit! And that’s precisely what she did in a very successful return to Future Shock!

Anna looked into the camera, screaming into it “I WANT ISIS!” The crowd responded loudly to that before a familiar voice was heard.

Voice: You got her! Whiplash...ANNA GIOVANNA...VERSUS ISIS MORALES!!

The camera spun around to see Adam at the entrance. Anna nodded in approval at this decision as the crowd roared in approval.

Linda: Not even giving it a moment to settle, Adam has booked the Unstoppable rematch that fans have been waiting for! And we’ll be seeing it at Whiplash next year!

Zack: Ask and ye shall receive! Anna...Isis….Whiplash…. And for the first time in Future Shock history, I’m a little concerned for Isis!

Linda: Given what we saw tonight? So am I.

Anna climbed the turnbuckle, raising her bloody fist in the air with the crowd roaring as the show faded off the air.
