Live from the Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia
April 13, 2017
Fireworks erupt into the night sky as the FFW logo starts to form in the darkness. From there, the sound of tires burning rubber as it tears down a freeway with a woman driving the car. “Shine” by the Heavy Young Heathens plays on the radio. She glances up into the rearview mirror, where we see Nevaeh Summers raising the FFW Championship in the reflection, the BSX standing tall at Unstoppable with the Unity titles, Leona looking at her Evolution title, Valerie & Erica high five one another in the ring, and Kassidy shaking the ropes to a roar from the crowd.
The car barrels down the freeway picking up speed as the woman glances down to mirror outside her door. There we see Caroline Dallins waving someone forward as she stands in the ring, Artemis Kaiser delivering the Crusades, Ascension standing over a fallen opponent with Valentina smiling as Isis stands stoic beside her, Legs & Arse charging towards the ring, Jodie Gray looking at her mandible claw hand, Eileen Amaro pounding the mat in a fury and finally Savannah Taylor looking at her Ace of Spades card.
The woman driving presses the gas harder as the speedometer needle looks like it’s bouncing on the right side of the meter before the Velocity logo appears on the screen. From there, we go inside the arena with the same song playing through the PA system to a roaring crowd. Fireworks shoot down the stage, and around the ring. And we immediately head to the back.
Zack: Welcome to the beautiful Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia! This is the 109th edition of Velocity, and...where are we going?
The show cuts into the staff parking, where we find a dark emerald green colored sedan coming to a stop near the door. The driver steps out, and opens the door on the passenger side as the fans see Arkia Fisk-Jones step out. She takes a deep breath of the humid Atlanta air before giving a thankful nod to the driver and stepping forward. Dressed to stun in her black La Femme mesh gown making it look easy as usual smiling as she approaches the door backstage door. The Atlanta crowd roars in approval as they see her.
Zack: We heard she was gonna be here. That’s Arkia Fisk, one of the most decorated ad well known women in the business today.
Mai: The question is why is she here?! It’s not Unstoppable yet!
The driver escorts her to the entrance, pulling the door open for her as we see Arkia head inside the Philips Arena.
Zack: We’ll be following this story throughout the night. Arkia Fisk has arrived, and we’ve got a huge show on tap with a Champion vs. Champion main event when the No Surrender Champion Savannah Taylor meets the new Evolution Champion Jo McFarlane!
Mai: And what could be a Future Shock main event when Andi Takata gets beat like a drum by the reigning Future Shock AND Unity Champion, Bianca Salvador!
Zack: Also tonight, we’ll have...what now?!
Mai: What’s going on? Why doesn’t anyone tell me anything on these stupid headsets?!
The cameras shoot towards the rafters, and there we see one woman sitting alone as she looks down over the crowd. As the shot zooms in, longtime fans immediately recognize the woman as she looks down.
Mai: That looks like….Hayley Dark, Zack.
Zack: It is Hayley Dark! We haven’t seen her in a long time. It looks like she’s just….watching from above. If you follow her on Twitter, you know that...that’s not the same woman FFW fans once knew.
Mai: Well Jake said she was returning to the company a while back. Why is she up there? Usually the talent stays backstage….not several stories up.
Zack: We’re starting off hot here on Velocity! Hayley Dark is in the rafters, and Arkia Fisk just arrived. There’s no telling where tonight is going to end up. But I can’t wait to find out! Take it away, Maggie!
The arena descends into darkness as the quiet rumble of thunder & rain begin to echo out over the P.A system… Quietly at first, it begins to grow louder and louder drawing a greater buzz from the excited fans as the sounds of "Highwayman" begins to roll out over the darkness … The fans immediately begin to cheer as the lyrics drift gently out across the PA system
I was a highwayman
Along the coach roads I did ride
With sword and pistol by my side
Many a young maid lost her baubles to my trade
Many a soldier shed his lifeblood on my blade
The bastards hung me in the spring of twenty-five
But I am still alive
The tragic county song reverberates through them as the spotlights illuminate the ramp way as the excitement grows
I was a sailor
I was born upon the tide
And with the sea I did abide
I sailed a schooner round the Horn to Mexico
I went aloft and furled the mainsail in a blow
And when the yards broke off they said that I got killed
But I am living still
Zoey steps out to the top of the ramp, dressed in her blue denim jeans & combat boots… Her halter top is firmly in place, laced tightly up her sides... With a pause, she glares out across the sea of humanity, tilting her ten-gallon hat as she adjusts her finger-less gloves like a restless cowboy, fearlessly gazing into what could always be her last stand
I was a dam builder
Across the river deep and wide
Where steel and water did collide
A place called Boulder on the wild Colorado
I slipped and fell into the wet concrete below
They buried me in that great tomb that knows no sound
But I am still around
I'll always be around and around and around and around and around
Glaring down the ramp – her dark eyes take in the corridor of outstretched hands as the fans present all manner of joy at her presence… Her hear races and her legs tingle as her mind to attempt to block out the nervous tension while the ramp flashes; illuminating her way through the cheers of thousands
Maggie: “Making her way to the ring from Gatlinburg Tennessee – ZOEY ADLER!”
She takes in a deep breath – her heart beating faster and faster as the tension comes to a boil... With a mighty exhale Zoe makes that walk down the canyon past the outstretched hands and through the sea of humanity as if walking the endless expanse of death valley itself. Even in their ambiguous joy, she struggles to comprehend their affection for her
I fly a starship
Across the Universe divide
And when I reach the other side
I'll find a place to rest my spirit if I can
Perhaps I may become a highwayman again
Or I may simply be a single drop of rain
But I will remain
And I'll be back again, and again and again and again and again
She slides into the ring under the ropes and springs up, charging toward the turnbuckle before jumping up and throwing her arms up once again. With a careless sneer, she hops down; removing her hat and getting one last stretch with the ropes before the start of her match
Zack: In just two weeks Velocity will have it's biggest main event yet with Caroline Dallins taking on Nevaeh Summers to reclaim the FFW Championship at Madison Square Garden! But tonight we're here to see Zoey Adler in action, and Adler could use a pick me up after her loss at Relentless.
Mai: Trust me, this isn't gonna be a pick me up, more like a take me down.
The arena goes dark for just a moment, the funky opening chords to Voodoo Johnson's "Dirty Angel" playing through the PA, before the white lights are replaced by swirling green replacements, bathing the arena in the favorite color of the Emerald City Siren. A few seconds pass, though, before Sophia Pike actually makes her way out through the curtain, met--immediately--by a chorus of boos, which she largely brushes off with a flick of of either wrist. She pauses at the head of the ramp, chewing a piece of gum fairly obviously, and shaking her head at the collective audience, for whatever reason.
Clearly in no particular hurry, judging by the utter lack of pace, Sophia makes her way down the ramp. About halfway to the ring, one fan is able to get past the practiced apathy of the Siren, and she actively gets in his face, shouting...something, that for the most part can't be heard over the music playing in the arena. Whatever the fan says back to her seems to amuse the self-proclaimed Queen of King County, who just smirks and waves him off, making the shorter trip down to the ring and climbing up onto the apron. She leans back against the ropes, grinning with a little more joy than one should probably get out of being almost unanimously booed, even raising both arms and beckoning the crowd to get even louder--which they happily do, as the Siren climbs into the ring.
Maggie: Introducing next, from Seattle, Washington, and weighing in at 137 lbs, this is the "Emerald City Siren," SOPHIA PIIIIIKE!
Sophia winks at [Anita/Maggie] and grins, climbing up onto the second turnbuckle and stretching both arms out, bending just a little bit at the waist and leaning herself forward. She shouts something at the sections of fans she can see, but again it's mostly unheard. Eventually, she hops off the turnbuckle and pulls her Queen of King County shirt off, tossing it out into the crowd...who promptly throw it back at the Siren. For her part, Sophia either doesn't notice or doesn't care, just settling herself back in the corner, waiting for the match to begin.
Zack: Unlike Zoey, Sophia had a successful night after making Lily-Rose tap out in a match that pitted two Future Shock graduates against one another!
Mai: Yeah, you see why I said what I said, Zack? Zoey's got one of the more successful Aspire Ring bearers in her crosshairs, so this won't be easy!
Zack: Where to start with that...
After the ref calls for the bell to start the fight, both competitors make their way to the middle of the ring. Before Zoey can take a step towards Pike the Siren hits Adler with a southpaw that knocks her back! Pike follows that up with repeated chops to the chest that sends Adler back into her corner, allowing Pike to charge at her with a clothesline against the top turnbuckle. Zoey stumbles out, grabbing her chest where Sophia struck her, only for the Siren to dropkick her in the back, sending Zoey to the mat on all fours. Kneeling to the side of Adler Sophia brings an axe handle smash to the middle of Zoey's back to forced her to the mat, and then follows up with a standing elbow drop to Adler. Sophia rolls her over and goes for a cover.
ONE!
TWO!
Zoey gets her shoulder up. Sophia kicks at Adler as she tries to get up, but as Zoey gets to a knee she grabs Pike's leg and holds it up. Pike doesn't stop as she hops up on her leg and delivers an enziguri to Adler, taking her back to the mat.
Zack: This fight's been all Sophia while Zoey tried to counter an attack from Pike! But it looks like the Emerald City Siren was able to keep her momentum rolling!
Mai: That's why she's the most successful Ring bearer, Zack, she knows just how to keep it all in her favor.
Picking Zoey back up Sophia gives her arm a twist, then looks around her as she prepares to hit the double knee armbreaker onto Adler, but Zoey's arm swings forward as Adler hits Pike with a clothesline!
Zack: Beautiful counter from Zoey! She's taking charge of the fight now!
Pike is getting onto all fours as Adler grabs at her chest. Realizing she has a chance Zoey bounces off the ropes and hits a dropkick to Sophia's ribs, sending her all the way to the other side of the ring. But Sophia rolls enough to get out of the ring, grabbing at her ribs as the crowd boos at her.
Zack: Zoey got in that dropkick, but now it looks like Sophia's trying to get a breather after just being hit by a few moves.
Mai: Hey, trying to murder your opponent is hard work, she needs the breather.
The ref begins the count for Sophia, but as he gets to four Zoey decides to step outside the ring as well, hopping off the apron and dropping an axe handle smash to Sophia! The crowd roars in approval as Zoey slaps a fan with a high five, then picks Sophia up to her feet.
Zack: The match is spilling outside now! The ref has reset his count, and now all that has to be done is one woman makes her way back inside the ring.
Mai: C'mon Sophia, don't let her get at you so easily!
One...
Two...
Zoey delivers a few jabs at Sophia's mug before whipping her into the apron, coming at her with another dropkick. Sophia grabs at her ribs where Adler got her, only this lets Zoey take the moment to shove Sophia's head between her legs. Adler is about to lift Sophia up for a piledriver, but Pike is quick to counter with a back body drop that causes Zoey to land on her back on the ground!
Three...
Four...
Five...
Zack: Zoey was almost about to piledrive Sophia into the ground, but Pike got her off her back just as quickly!
Mai: Isn't a piledriver more dangerous outside than a back drop? Why were these people cheering for that?!
Pike kicks at Zoey while she's down, then grabs her arm to force her to her feet, but follows through with it and sends Adler full force to the other side of the ring where Zoey stumbles over the steel steps, rolling over herself and grabbing her knee on the impact!
Six...
Seven...
Eight...
Zack: Zoey might just be hurt after that trip through the stairs! Look at how she's grabbing at her knee!
Mai: I warned her! I warned her about stairs, bro!
Sophia follows behind Zoey, watching as she grabs at her knee. Pike grins wickedly as she lifts Zoey's leg in the air, letting it drop down to the ground! Zoey cries out in anguish as the ref gets close to the count.
Nine...
TEN!
DING DING DING
Maggie: Ladies and gentlemen...this match's result is a double countout!
The crowd boos, knowing they have no real winner this evening. But Sophia just cackles at Zoey, who still grabs at her knee. Pike is all grins as she leaves the ringside area, heading up the ramp while someone checks on Adler.
Zack: Nobody may have won the match officially, but I think it can be said Sophia feels like the winner right now.
Mai: As she should!
Zack: What can't be said, however, is that things are over with Sophia and Zoey. Adler is definitely going to want to get back at her.
As the ref and the timekeeper help Zoey to her feet, we fade out.
Business Women
As the show returns to the back, there we find Arkia once again. But this time, she’s seen headin through the corridors as one of the production assistants is showing her around. She gets to meet a few on her way before they stop outside the owner’s office.
PA: Here we are.
The assistant gives a knock on the door before it opens, and standing across from Arkia is Samantha Star. The redhead offers her a handshake, and pulls the door back for her to come inside.
Samantha: Welcome to Velocity, Ms. Fisk. Please come in!
Arkia: Thank you Ms. Star but it’s ok to call me Mrs. My brand is something I’m proud of but I am also proud of my husband. Then again, might lead to more confusion...yeah can tell I haven’t thought that out huh? Ms. Fisk is fine.
She chuckles as she heads inside, Samantha closes the door before Velocity heads to a commercial break.

Maggie: The following contest is set for one fall!
Zack: By virtue of only one half of this match having been on Relentless, it only went as planned for one half of this next match! Kassidy became the person that got Scarlett her first win, and Cereza looks to carry on picking up speed as she heads into Destiny next week! And joining me for this is the Ultraviolence Champion, Emma MacNamara!
Emma: A thoroughly, thoroughly deserved win for Scarlett at Relentless and something I’ll be very glad to see her continue as she goes on, especially when she takes on someone who’s had a shot too many at the Future Shock Championship.
As the lights dim down to show off a strobe effect on the stage “Death By Glamour” plays over the PA system as a silhouette rises from underneath the stage, making a seductive pose until the platform is level with the stage. The spotlights shine down to reveal the figure to be Cereza, who breaks the pose and waves out to the crowd before she struts down the ramp towards the ring.
Maggie: Making her way to the ring, from Liverpool, England...CEREZA!
As Cereza reaches the ring she stops in front of the apron, bringing her leg up high and stretching it out onto the mat. Then after grabbing the bottom rope she hops up to bring her other leg on for a split that allows the former stripper to slide under the ropes. Slowly and seductively she rises from the mat, standing in the middle of the ring to do a short kick dance before heading to her corner to rally the crowd behind her as she waits for the bell.
Zack: As we said a moment ago, in just over a week Cereza will be taking to the ring in the hopes of dethroning the current Future Shock Champion, Bianca Salvador, who won the title in a rather dubious manner. She’s been on one hell of a roll since the new year, including picking up a win against you, Emma.
Emma: ...Yes, in a match where you seemed to take quite a bit of enjoyment out of calling me cocky. It was a mistake and will not happen again should she choose to come after me. Which she very well may do once not only Scarlett has disposed of her but Bianca too. She’ll need something to fill that empty head, I suppose.
“Hands To Myself” by Selena Gomez starts to play through the speakers around the arena.
Can't keep my hands to myself
No matter how hard I'm trying to
I want you all to myself
You're metaphorical gin and juice
So come on give me a taste
Of what it’s like to be next to you
Won't let one drop go to waste
You're metaphorical gin and juice
As the opening verse ends and the tempo starts to increase Scarlett Silver walks through the curtain onto the stage with her manager, Christian Kincaid. The lights dip for a moment before she steps forward and a red spotlight shines down on her.
Cause all of the downs and the uppers
Keep making love to each other
And I'm trying, trying, I'm trying, trying
All of the downs and the uppers
Keep making love to each other
And I'm trying, trying, I'm trying, but I
Can't keep my hands to myself
My hands to myself
Can't keep my hands to myself
My hands to myself
Scarlett struts down the ramp acknowledging the crowd with a smile, with Christian following a few steps behind. Pausing halfway down she sways her hips in rhythm with the music and slowly blows a kiss out to the crowd.
Maggie: Introducing at this time… Hailing from Los Angeles, California….Scarlett Silver!
Scarlett reaches the ring and slides under the bottom rope before jumping to her feet and climbing onto the turnbuckle facing the stage. She raises her arms up high then jumps down to join Christian in her corner, for a last minute, pre-match discussion.
Zack: Also as mentioned, Scarlett picked up her first win at Relentless and it was quite a big win at that, too! I’m not quite sure what she has her sights set on right now, but we do know whatever it might be will be nothing short of destructive.
Emma: Of course it will. Maybe a little distracting to the right people. Also...did you just say beating the hyper orange warrior was a big win? ...And there’s me hoping you would be better than that...
Fisk pats down both women before calling for the bell. As he’s doing this to Scarlett, she shifts herself around, telling him he should get the best feeling of her possible with a smirk on her face. Fisk gives her a funny look but largely ignores what she just said and heads back into the middle of ring where he calls for the bell. The much smaller woman walks calmly and slowly out of the ring, and by the time she gets there, Cereza is waiting for her, looking slightly fed up. The American woman pushes up on her toes, placing a hand on Cereza’s shoulder and leaning in towards her. Cereza seems slightly confused by this, and attempts to shove Scarlett away, but before she can actually do that Scarlett throws her head forwards and catches Cereza with a headbutt! Cereza takes a step back, holding the bridge of her nose and scowling while Scarlett grins at her handiwork.
Emma: I do enjoy a good decoy. And I am fairly sure that’s what that was, there’s not much to suggest that it could have been something else.
Zack: Cereza not entirely sure what to think of the potential advances, but then she doesn’t need to because all Scarlett wanted to do was get ahead of the game.
A low dropkick to the knee follows that, which brings Cereza down to one leg, then finding herself on the receiving end of a boot to the head thanks to the LA native, but rather than go right down, Cereza props herself up on her hands and uses this to get herself back to her feet. What she doesn’t see however is Scarlett rushing the ropes and bouncing from the middle rope, catching Cereza with a shining wizard that puts her right back where she was. Scarlett turns to the fans and raises a hand, which only gets her jeered in response. She doesn’t look happy about that, and instead turns back to face her opponent. Problem is, by that point Cereza is back on her feet, and as Scarlett faces her, she takes an elbow to the face, reeling her off to the side, where Cereza then picks her up and drops her again with a sidewalk slam! Scarlett rolls away and looks none too pleased at what just happened, while Cereza then takes her around the head and drops her again, this time with a DDT. Scarlett doesn’t roll this time, but wishes she had as Cereza drops on her with a banana split leg drop, keeping the leg across Scarlett for the cover.
Zack: One mistake cost Scarlett dearly there, and now we have our first cover of the match.
ONE! SHOULDER!
Emma: That was never going to be enough. One mistake does not a match cost...at least most of the time.
Fisk’s hnd barely made the one count before Scarlett kicked her legs upwards, looking as though she was trying to catch Cereza in the face. Which might have worked if the Scouser’s face wasn’t so far away. Cereza gets up and Scarlett is close behind her. The Englishwoman goes for a clothesline, which is quite promptly ducked by the LA native, who sins as she goes past Cereza and launches herself into the air, going for the crossbody, but is caught by Cereza! Cereza swings her, looking for the drop, but Cereza wriggles the hold loose and then uses her bottom hand to land a punch dead into just above the pubic bone. Cereza yelps and lets go of Scarlett...who hadn’t quite thought that through and lands quite awkwardly on the mat. She scrambles to her feet and runs at Cereza again, this time catching her with a running shoulder tackle that took the former stripper down.
Zack: Scarlett is definitely holding her own quite well against the former Future Shock rookie, for all she doesn’t seem to be quite able to maintain any kind of consistency.
Emma: She doesn’t have to. All she has to do is beat Cereza at her own game, and that’s actually easy enough to do.
Taking Cereza by the hair, Scarlett ran with the would-be Future Shock Champion and threw her into the ring post, where she crashed against it shoulder first. Cereza's face twisted in pain but she was quick to pull it back a little as she felt Scarlett grab her, straighten her and spin her around, where the smaller woman went ham on the former stripper’s abdomen, landing kick after kick and a few elbows into her stomach and chest. She pulled back and railed Cereza with a knee to the face, before hopping down and this time grabbing the ropes and charging her with two shoulder tackles. From there, she bounced onto the middle turnbuckle and raised a hand to the crowd and this time grinned at their jeering. Leaping high this time, she wrapped her legs around Cereza and dropped her with a hurricanrana! Scarlett rolled to her feet, took from the ropes and this time landed on Cereza with a moonsault! For a moment, she considered going for the pin, but decided instead to roll off of Cereza, then roll her to her front where she then applied a camel clutch. Almost instantly Cereza’s haydn was on the ropes, being easily in reach which forced Scarlett to break the hold, which she did somewhat reluctantly. She then grabbed Cereza by the arm and pulled her into the middle of the ring and reapplied the hold.
Emma: Scarlett’s back in the driver’s seat, and not before time either. A most effective hold in the form of the clutch. You never quite realise how much damage has been done until it’s too late.
Zack: Scarlett would have been off to a much better start if it weren’t for the ropes being right beside her, but she’s learned from that and Cereza’s not in the great spot right now
Silver cranked quite hard on the hold, causing Cereza to twist up in pain again as Scarlett pulled. Fisk dropped, watching for Cereza tapping or giving out, neither of which she seemed quite prepared to do despite Scarlett shouting at her to do so. Cereza shook her head all the way through, difficult as that was with Scarlett’s arms around her neck. Propping herself on one hand, she attempted to use the other to claw Scarlett’s hands off her neck, but that only made the smaller woman clutch harder, which visibly caused more pain to Cereza. She tried again, much to the same problem. Finally, putting her hand down, Cereza gave a mighty shout and started trying to push herself upwards, back to a vertical base. Scarlett seemed surprised by this after first, but then attempted to get herself off before anything could happen. However, rather than reach an entirely vertical base, Cereza got most of the way up and threw herself forwards, and sending Scarlett off with her!
Zack: That’s one way of getting out of it ! Cereza’s back will be done in after having to do that.
Emma: If her back is done after that, then she’s got worse problems than Bianca to think about.
Scarlett slid down the ring and towards the ropes, stopping just shy of them and beside Christian. The two shared words for a moment before Cereza came at her. CK got out of the way and Scarlett jumped, but Cereza had that anticipate and grabbed Scarlett by the legs and drops her again with an alley oop! Scarlett rolls to her back and sits, clutching at her stomach while Cereza turns to face her, this time coming at her and landing a kick into her face, knocking Scarlett back to the mat. The would-be Future Shock Champion then grabs Scarlett and goes to pull her up, but Scarlett does something we can’t see and next thing we know she’s got Cereza in a roll up!
Emma: I don’t know what happened there, but that surprise might be enough to get Scarlett the win!
ONE!
TWO!
BREAK OUT!
Zack: ...Or maybe it won’t be.
Cereza looks slightly bewildered as she kicks out of the pin, while Scarlett grins widely. That doesn’t last for long however as she finds herself being pulled up by the hair and this time Cereza takes her right up and drops her again, this time with a military press. Again Scarlett clutches at her stomach and shakes her head as she gets to her feet, where Cereza is waiting for her. She takes Scarlett and drops her with one German suplex, and then a second. She goes for the third but is blocked by Scarlett who then sends a punch into her gut and suplexes Cereza herself. She then takes a run, jumps up and lands with a stomp onto Cereza’s chest. The Liverpudlian rolls to her side and puts an arm over her chest, because clearly that wasn’t very comfortable. Scarlett goes to pull Cereza up again and this time Cereza knocks her back with an uppercut, following it through with a running clothesline that sends the smaller woman spinning! Dropping, Cereza turns to the crowd and grins, getting her cheers. Looking over her shoulder she sees that Scarlett is on her feet and leaps up, taking her back down with a Pele kick and rolling into the cover!
Emma: I’ve been on the receiving end of Death By Glamour, and I do not envy Scarlett for being on it right now!
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
Maggie: Your winner, by way of a pinfall, CEREZA!
Zack: The woman who would be Queen of Future Shock steams on!
Scarlett looks none-too-pleased with what just happened, and neither does Christian as she goes to check on his client while Cereza’s hand is raised.
Zack: Cereza picks up a much needed win heading into Destiny, and you can bet Bianca was watching this match! Tough one for Scarlett though.
Emma: Very tough. She’ll bounce back though, she’s made of some fine stuff.
With Cereza celebrating her win, we go somewhere else.
Welcome to Fel-ocity
"Malevolence" by New Years Day fills the arena speakers, the crowd greeting the worldwide wrestling star a with a thunderous mixed reaction. The lights in the arena dimmer down and a gold sparklers fall onto the entrance ramp, as the audience waits in anticipation. The arena lights fade away until the only sources of light are the titantron and the pyro.
"Nothing's gonna save meeeee!
The evil that I see! Has taken over mee!
No one's gonna save meeeeee!
The damage has been done! I'm writing all the wrongs!"
The lyrics to Felicity's theme song echo throughout the arena as the Supreme comes out onto the stage with a smug smile on her face, the crowd nearly blowing the roof off the arena with cheers and jeers! Felicity makes her way through the golden sparklers, her arms extended to her sides and a Blowpop in her mouth. She pulls the blowpop out of her mouth as she slowly paces down the ramp, turning her back to show the camera the "Scorpion Queen" writing on the back of her sweatshirt. Once halfway down the ramp, Felicity glances at the fans at ringside and smirks once she sees them bowing down in her direction.
Zack: If you saw Relentless, things didn’t quite go the way that Felicity Banks and her partner, Ashley Sullivan had hoped.
Mai: No, but they will be on the next Velocity back in tag action when we are in the Garden.
Felicity has a short exchange with the bowing fans then walks up the steps. She continues pushing forward until she reaches the middle of the apron, turning around to soak in the energy from the crowd. She enters the ring and spins around in circles until the lights in the arena begin getting brighter, not stopping until the arena was fully lit. Felicity unzips her sweatshirt, walks toward the nearest corner and grabs a microphone.
Mai: I just call her Queen, but seems like some of the crowd know it too. Atlanta isn’t as stupid as I thought it was, I guess.
Felicity stands in the center of the ring, a smirk on her face as she gives all of her attention to the booers in the crowd. The fans chanting for Felicity? Almost muted by the jeers.
Felicity Banks: Shhhhhhhhhh. Shhhhhhhh. Shhhhhhhhhh.
She starts, trying to do whatever she can to drown out the noise. The boos increase for a bit, getting Felicity to pause and lean her back against the nearest turnbuckle pads. She looks at her imaginary watch and mumbles “they have to shut up eventually” before she walks toward the center of the ring. She takes in a deep breath and turns to face the hard camera.
Felicity Banks: Before you peasants decide to take over the show again, I have a few things I’d like to get off my chest! First and foremost -- the question you’ve all been wondering.
She lowers the microphone for dramatic pause.
Felicity Banks: Why did the SUPREEEEEEEMAAAAAAAHHHH say Emma when she was clearly talking about Erica, and my people… I HAVE YOUR ANSWER!
A devious grin forms on her features as she flips the hood to her “Scorpion Queen” sweatshirt over her head.
Felicity Banks: I was being sent nudes on instagram by a girl named Emma while I was talking my shit, and I got confused! ADHD runs in family, and for the most part? I got skipped out on the negative Banks family gene, BUT! There are those random times where Emma sounds like Erica, futon sounds like fue-ton, and so on and so forth.
Annoyed by the Supreme, a small “Felicity Sucks!” chant starts to break out, but the pro Felicity crowd drowns them out with the “Ayeeeee We Want Some Felllaaay” melody.
Felicity Banks: SHUT UP! ALL OF YOU SHUT UP! I’M TRYING TO TALK ABOUT SOMETHING IMPORTANT AND YOU’RE ALL MAKING ME LOSE MY TRAIN OF THOUGHT!!
Boos galore. The munchkin knows how to turn a crowd against her.
Felicity Banks: But! As I was saying…
She pauses just so the audience would quiet down a bit.
Felicity Banks: Even I, the SUPPPPPREMAAAAAAAH!!! Make mistakes. I’ve been making mistakes since I came to FFW, and it’s all because…
A cackle escapes.
Felicity Banks: I guess I didn’t know where I fit in. Part of me feels like I have to keep up with FutureShock and SVW and every sister promotion FFW has just to know what’s going on here in FFW, and it allllllllll gets soooooooo confusing! SO FUCKING CONFUSING!
She jumps up in the air and slams her feet off the mat in frustration.
Felicity Banks: … but then? I made a choice. Two choices actually.
Pause for dramatic effect.
Felicity Banks: Choice one: Stop giving a fuck about everything else and pay attention to ME and ME only! I’M THE ONLY ONE YOU PEOPLE NEED TO PAY ATTENTION TO TOO!
And there’s more boos.
Felicity Banks: Choice two: Stop making the same stupid freaking mistakes.
She stops, circling around the ring to ponder over her next few set of words.
Felicity Banks: It’s no secret that I’m not happy with my placement in FFW. I literally had to complain to get a t-shirt - which you can now buy at merchandise stands everywhere - but that’s not even the worst part! Ashley and I fought the Queens of the Modern Age in what I believe was the match of the night, but where did the praise go? Who got all the attention?
She shrugs, almost as if she’s waiting for an answer.
Felicity Banks: Reggie Amaro and her failures. Zoey Adler and her post loss breakdown. Literally every single fuckin’ person with championship gold! But what did the legitimate match of the night get? What did THE SUPREMAAAAAAAAAH get?
Another pause, this one much shorter than any of the previous ones.
Felicity Banks: A pat on the back and a “good job, kid” when I got backstage. That…
She says as she grinds down on her teeth.
Felicity Banks: That’s not enough for me. I AM ONE OF THE BEST WRESTLERS IN THIS SPORT AND I DEMAND TO BE TREATED LIKE IT!
Boos.
Cheers.
AJ STYLES!-type reaction.
Felicity Banks: So I made a choice.
She points at the Unstoppable logo hanging in the rafters.
Felicity Banks: At the biggest stage of them all, I want the biggest name of them all. I don’t care if you’re signed to FFW, or if you’re unemployed right now and need something to do. I want the biggest and best name out there at FFW’s biggest night of the year, and I promise you… I promise you all this…
She takes a step forward, her eyes squinted as she stares off at the hard cam.
Felicity Banks: … my mistakes? They’re dead.
Felicity holds her arm out and drops the microphone right in the ring. “Malevolence” fills the arena speakers as The Supreme exits the ring and ignores every single fan mouthing something her way as she steps up the entrance ramp.
Mai: Damn it, Zack. I expect you to start calling her matches better! She deserves to be treated like that!
Zack: I’m not 100% sure all of that was entirely accurate, but either way, maybe the squeaky wheel will get the grease.
Mai: She’s not squeaky wheel, she’s the QUEEN SUPREMEAAAAAAAAAH!
Once she reaches the top of the stage, Felicity turns out to the crowd to see a number of fans bowing her way, but even more booing her out of the building. She smirks, turns around, and disappears behind the curtain.

The show heads back to the ring after showing us the history between Andi and Bianca through Future Shock till now. Maggie awaits with a smile, and her microphone in hand.
Maggie: The following contest is scheduled for one fall!
Zack: You will not find a match on tonight’s card with more bad blood than the one we are about to see! It began with Future Shock, and snowballed into a Unity title match. And I’ve been looking forward to it ever since I saw it was happening here tonight in Atlanta. I’m going to be joined by a guest in just a moment as well.
[CUE THE SOUNDCHIP! An 8-bit version of the song from the Goonies start playing as the main lights dim down in the arena, with small star spotlights in a variety of colors flying around the crowd. 8-bit stars fill the videoboards, right up until the words start and Andi Takata comes sprinting out of the back to hit her mark. ]
# GOOD -GOOD- GOOD
[Andi hops into place, already in her Magical Girl pose, with blue and white sparkling pyro popping behind her, and the videoboards all exploding into pixellated color madness! The bassline kicks in and Andi dances for a moment before she starts to head for the ring, taking her time to enjoy her 'Starlights'!]
#Here we are, Hanging onto strains of greed and blues
#Break the chain then we break down
#Oh it's not real, if you don't feel it
#Unspoken expectations
#Ideals we used to play with
#Finally taking shape for us.
[By this time, Andi has reached the ringside fans, and cues them up for the dance party!]
#What's good enough (good enough)
#For you is
#Good enough (good enough)
#For me it's good enough (good enough)
#It's good enough for me
#Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah!!!
[And when Pacman whirrs down, Andi punches the air above her and makes her way back around the ring to get to the rest of her Starlights, before heading up the steps and into the ring....]
#goodgoodgoodgoodgood...
#Now you'll say You're startin' to feel the push.... and pull
#Of what could be and never can
#You mirror me... stumblin' through those
#Old fashioned superstitions
#I find too hard to breaaaak
#Maybe you're out of place whaaaat's
[The song builds up again, and Andi, after running the ropes by this point, stops in the middle, to rally EVERYONE up to join her in a big ol' Caramelldanse! And most do!]
#Good enough (good enough)
#For you is
#Good enough (good enough)
#For me It's good enough (good enough)
#It's good enough for me
#Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah!!
[Andi runs up the turnbuckles for one last go! Keep dancing everyone!]
#Good enough (good enough)
#For you Is
#Good enough (good enough)
#For me.. It's good, it's good enough
#It's good enough for me
#Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah!!!!
[Andi finally hops down as the song fades away....]
Maggie: Introducing first, representing the Burning Star Express...please welcome the 2017 FFW Hall of Famer….’THE LUCKY STAR’ ANDI TAKATA!!
Zack: You will not find too many people in this business more beloved than that woman right there. Andi Takata will join her tag partner and Fast Track Champion, Kaoru Asaka, in the Hall this summer. But she’s got a rival she can’t wait to meet coming right up!
A weather warning siren goes off, and smoke starts filling up the top of the ramp. The big screen shows a massive cloud coming down to land, forming a cone that, those who live in tornado areas will identify, can only mean bad times coming. But this smoke atop the ramp, it's not coming peacefully: it's invading the top stage really quick, with the help of a ramping gust of air that starts getting a bit violent. With the whole center stage taken by smoke, the gust coming from the main entrance is aggressive enough to lift a smaller person off the ground, as "Skylines" by D.i.N Beats hits the PA. But when the smoke dissipates, standing strong with her back turned to the violent wind and with the [INSERT CHAMPIONSHIP HERE] Championship belt held up high is the Typhoon herself, Bianca Salvador, in her teal, black and white attire, arms out and hair flying into her face, as the crowd boos her violently.
Maggie: And her opponent, from Porto Alegre, Brazil... FFW's reigning Future Shock and Unity Champion... BIANCA SALVADOR!
Step by step, Bianca treks down the entrance ramp ignoring the booing fans, eventually getting out of the wind zone so she can adjust her hair right before rolling into the ring. Once there, she climbs a turnbuckle and just stares at the booing audience, showing her championship off and shaking her head at their negative reception before jumping back down to the mat and finally smiling upon meeting her opponent for the night.
Zack: Bianca Salvador is like King Midas, everything she touches turns to gold! And I guarantee you Andi wants both of those FFW titles she’s packing, though they aren’t on the line tonight.
Referee Melinda Davis checks both women, and is about to call for the bell to start the match before a familiar voice is heard over the PA system. The crowd looks to the ramp to see them as they head down the ramp. Andi & Bianca look as well to see Adam.
Adam: Hold on a second, please.
Zack: That’s actually who’s supposed to be joining me, but it looks like Adam has something on his mind first.
Adam: Good luck to you both. I just wanted to let you know that if you win this match, Andi, I guarantee you a shot at the Future Shock title!
As he tells her this, Andi looks elated while Adam heads for the booth. Davis calls for the bell, and this news seems to light a fire under Andi as she darts across the ring as Bianca turns around to face her. Takata immediately begins unloading with big right hands one after another to the delight of the crowd, rocking Salvador back into the corner. She wrapped Bianca’s arms around the top rope, and began to unleash a flurry of kicks to her body! Seven connected before Bianca staggered out of the corner, only for Andi to hop up onto the second turnbuckle from the inside and take her down with a bulldog to the mat. The space princess got back to her feet quickly, waving Bianca to get up before taking off with a knee lift to the face that drove her back down.
Zack: Adam, welcome to the broadcast position. I think this may be a first, and what you just said seems to have ignited Andi.
Adam: I’m glad to be here. As for my announcement, Andi is one of the most popular stars on my show. If she can knock off the Future Shock Champion, she deserves a shot at the title!
Salvador barely got back to her feet before Takata launched into her with furious forearm strikes to the head one after another. She whipped her across to the far side, causing Bianca to rebound. Andi ducked her head as Bianca was about to leap over her, but got caught coming in and scooped up….and right back down with an Alabama slam! Salvador struck hard on the back of her head as Andi held her legs to roll through for the cover. Davis dropped to count.
Zack: Alabama Slam!, and Andi just PLANTED the “Typhoo” the hard way! Takata wants that title shot!
ONE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Salvador kicked out at the two, prompting Andi to climb to her knees and apply a front facelock before she pulled them back to their feet. A few more knee lifts into Bianca’s face connected before she dropped her with a tiger suplex.
Adam: This is one of the reasons fans love Andi, because of her explosive offense. If this keeps up, Bianca’s gonna be glad I didn’t decide to put the title on the line instead.
The Future Shock Champion was slow to get up, and wasn’t allowed to for very long before Andi snatched her around the waist from behind and executed a release German suplex. It rolled Bianca into the ropes with the velocity of it. Andi started to beam as she headed for the far side ropes, only for Bianca to roll out to the floor to get away from her. The crowd didn’t care for that, but Andi decided to make it up to them. When Bianca landed on her feet, Andi took off and sailed through the top and middle ropes with a Superman punch that floored the champion.
Zack: Bianca went to the floor to get some reprieve, but someone forgot to tell Andi this was her coffee break! Supergirl couldn’t have done it any better!
Adam: This is kind of a busy week for Bianca. She just had a match on Future Shock two nights ago, and now she’s facing someone who has zero love loss for her with Andi out there.
Davis began her mandatory ten count as Andi wasted no time at all in pulling Bianca up, and throwing her back into the ring under the bottom rope. Takata rolled in after her, and used the middle rope for a springboard into a leg drop across her chest. She quickly hooked the outside leg for the cover as the referee dropped to count.
Zack: There was nothing between Andi and Bianca but air and opportunity when she nailed that springboard leg drop. Takata with the cover again!
ONE!!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
TH-NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
Bianca kicked out again after the two, causing Andi to pelt her with furious right hands prior to getting back to her feet. She headed for the corner, ascending to the top rope before she extended he arms and began to walk that rope towards the center. As Bianca was starting to rise, she saw it and ran the ropes before Andi could do anything, causing her to straddle herself on the rope instead.
Adam: Andi has awesome agility, you saw her walking the top rope. I have trouble just staying on the sidewalk sometimes!
Zack: And she got introduced to it the hard way right there. Bianca saw her getting ready for something, and stopped her dead in her tracks!
Andi sat on the rope in obvious pain before Bianca snatched her head, and drilled her with a hangman’s DDT to the canvas. It was obvious Bianca was still feeling the effects of the offense so far, as she was slow to get back up again. When Andi started to get up though, she grabbed her around the waist and delivered a gutwrench suplex to the mat. She climbed onto her back, pulling her head up with one hand and firing forearm shots across her face with the other. When she finally relented, she rose back to her feet to a chorus of boos from the Atlanta crowd.
Adam: She may not have a lot of fans, but Bianca is very much a student of this sport. Andi’s learning that there’s not a lot she’s going to surprise her with in this match.
Zack: Andi’s getting clobbered with those forearms to the face. Bianca Salvador’s vicious streak is on full display here tonight at Velocity.
When the space princess tried to get back to her feet, Bianca circled around behind her with her arms outstretched. And when she got up, the Future Shock Champion slapped on a full nelson as she tried to clasp her fingers together behind Andi’s head. Davis moved around in front of Takata, seeing if she wanted to end the match but Andi said no. The fans began to chant her name as Bianca was still trying to lock her fingers through Andi’s thick mane of neptune hair.
Zack: Some call it a sugar hold, others know it as a full nelson. Whatever you call it, Andi will be unconscious if she doesn’t find a way out of it sooner than later.
Adam: Bianca’s doing all she can with it, she’s still trying to get her hands together to lock them behind her head. But Andi’s got quite a bit of hair making that more than a little difficult.
Davis asked again, only to get another negative response. The crowd started to get louder now as Andi’s face began to darken, thanks to the hold. Bianca began to lean over her, trying to apply more pressure as a result. That was the case until Andi seemed to come to life, darting towards the ropes to run up them with her feet to kick off into a pin on top of Bianca! Davis immediately slid into position to make the count.
Zack: Where did that come from?! Andi reversed it, Bianca’s gonna get pinned in her own hold right here!!
ONE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
TH-NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
Salvador managed to break free and kick out before the three came down. She shoved Andi off, and got to her knees to catch her with a diving elbow to the jaw as Takata tried to sit up.
Adam: Look at the elbow shot, Zack. Andi almost pulled that out, and Bianca wasted no time in putting her down again before she started to rally.
She pulled Andi towards the center of the ring, utilizing a single leg Boston crab but only for a moment before she drove a hard stomp into her head. Salvador headed for the corner, still with an angry scowl on her face as she told Andi to get up. The former Unity Champion was slow to do so, clearly more than a little dazed before Bianca took off towards her with a running knee trembler that flattened her down to the mat. The Future Shock Champion dropped into a cover before the referee slid into position.
Adam: That was a nasty knee trembler. And the worst part is I don’t think Andi saw it coming. And those are the shots that will knock out you the quickest, so I’ve been told.
ONE!!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEE-NOOOOOOPE!!
Andi got her shoulder up in time, but Bianca wasted no time in getting back to her feet. As the referee checked on Takata, Bianca headed for the corner and began to unfasten the turnbuckle pad from the top rope. She tossed it to the floor, and doubled back to get Andi.
Zack: Bianca’s removed the padding to expose the steel bolt underneath it, and you can bet she didn’t do that just for aesthetic value.
Bianca pounded a few forearms into the back of Andi’s head before hoisting her up onto her shoulder. A wicked smile formed on her face as she looked at the exposed turnbuckle, and then took off with a snake eyes in mind. But as they approached, Andi slipped out the back onto her feet. Bianca stopped herself before she hit it. When she turned around though, Andi left her feet and drilled Bianca with a hurricanrana! It brought the crowd to its feet as Takata darted towards the ropes. She used the second for a springboard into a shooting star press for the cover! Davis dropped to count as the crowd counted with her!
Zack: SHOOTING STAR PRESS!! Adam, get the contract ready!!
ONE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NOOOO!!!
Bianca got her shoulder up before the three came down, causing Andi to roll off to the canvas and try to pull herself together after she sat up.
Adam: Andi was that close to getting her title shot I promised her, but close doesn’t cut it. She has to win, and that is what is driving her right now.
As Bianca started to move on the mat, Andi caught her with a pivoting face stomp to put her back down. She drove a few clubbing blows into the back of her head before yanking her to her feet. A hard Irish whip sent her into the corner (not the exposed one) back first. As Bianca’s back hit, Andi bolted in towards her with a Stinger splash! Salvador staggered out of the corner as Andi headed up to the top rope behind her. When the champion turned around, Andi was already halfway down the middle rope before she dove off with a tornado DDT that stood Bianca on her head for a half second until Andi went for the cover! Davis slid into position for the count.
Zack: It didn’t work the first time, but it damn sure did the second! Andi with a tornado DDT, and she’s gonna put her away right now!!
ONE!!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NO!!
Again, Bianca managed to get her shoulder up before the three came down, causing Andi to shake her head as she rose back to her feet.
Adam: Bianca is a hard woman to keep down, and Andi’s remembering it all too well. It wasn’t that long ago that these two fought all over an arena in Rhode Island for a chance just like this one.
Andi rose to her feet, measuring Bianca as the Future Shock Champion was slow to get up. When she did, Andi gave the sign for her favorite finisher and took off towards her. She grabbed her head, but Bianca shoved her forward into a cartwheel. Takata ended up behind her again as Bianca turned to grab her!
Zack: Look at that, she went for it and Bianca shoved her off! Then the acrobats came to down!
When Bianca tried to grab her, it was Andi who grabbed her and executed her rolling cutter (where else but outta nowhere?!), which erupted the crowd! Takata dove for the cover immediately as Davis fell to count!
Zack: SPACE CUTTER!!!
ONE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
Davis called for the bell as Andi rolled away to her knees, a tired smile forming on her face until she got her hand raised. After that, she started pumping her fist at her side as she rose to her feet.
Adam: Well done, Andi! She’ll have her Future Shock title match in the not too distant future.
Maggie: Here is your winner…………..’THE LUCKY STAR’ ANDI TAKATA!!!
Zack: It was back and forth, but in the end, the luck of the cosmos was behind Andi Takata! And as promised, she just guaranteed herself another crack at the Future Shock title!
Adam: That she did. She earned it too, because Bianca wasn’t going to go down easy.
Andi got to her feet, heading for the corner to pump up the crowd more as she ran he hands along her waist with a smile to signify what she wanted.
Adam: You’ll have your chance, Andi. I promise.
On that, Velocity heads elsewhere.
Now’s Not the Time
The show heads back outside Samantha’s office yet again, this time with Amber Carano positioned right beside the door.
Amber: Earlier tonight, we saw Arkia Fisk arrive here at the Philips Arena and go right into the owner’s office. I’ve been waiting out here for their meeting to end, and will ask her exactly what she will be doing come Unstoppable 8! And--
Amber’s cut off as the door opens finally, before Arkia steps back out. The reporter greets her with a smile as she sees her before the door closes behind them.
Amber: Welcome to Velocity! It’s a pleasure to meet you!
Arkia: Thank you thank you. I’m enjoying all the welcomes. Samantha Star runs a very wonderful ship.
Amber: We saw on Twitter recently that you were going to be part of the 8th annual Unstoppable this July. I was hoping you could shed some light on what your involvement will be that night.
Arkia: Oh sweetie. No no...Look at how I’m packaged, you can’t honestly think you rip this surprise open on the first interaction. Of course not, I’m far too pretty and way too boss. Unstoppable 8 I’ll be who I always am. Here for business first, which will be each and everyone of yours pleasure. Bigger in Texas correct? Wouldn’t be right without one of the biggest.
Arkia smiles at Amber giving her a humored chuckle and an innocent wink. Amber’s eyes widen at that, the buzz beginning to rumble through the arena before we head elsewhere.
The Baby Peach’s Homecoming
The crowd is being very loud and vocal at the moment, all clapping and chanting at the top of their lungs. As we watch them we pick up the chant, a surprising one at that.
“We Want Ne-Vaeh”
Clap
Clap
Clap,clap,clap
“We Want Ne-Vaeh”
The fans continue chanting and clapping in unison for several moments. The cameras just pan around and record all of it till eventually ‘Yellow Flicker Beat” by Lorde starts to play to another loud ovation. The fans all rise to their feet as Nevaeh Summers, wearing jeans, a black blouse, and sunglasses makes her way out. She still has bruising on her neck and nose and has the FFW Championship cradled in her arms.
Nevaeh stands on the stage and removes her sunglasses, looking around at the reaction she is currently getting. Her manager Silas Mason walks right next to her in his suit and also looks around, he sporting a more surprised expression on his face. As they stand their the fans are roaring louder and louder. Nevaeh just keeps looking around before heading down to the ring. She makes her way up the steps and stands on the ring apron, watching the crowd giving her this favorable ovation.
Nevaeh and Silas are both still processing everything that is going on as they get inside the ring. The music eventually goes out but the crowd keeps on roaring. Nevaeh just kept looking around at how an entire building is chanting her name at the moment. She takes a deep breath while Silas just stands there. He goes to grab a microphone from Maggie and heads back to Nevaeh. They stand their in the middle of the ring and just keep being engulfed by the crowd, who remain chanting Nevaeh’s name
Feeling the moment Silas hands the microphone over to Nevaeh. The FFW Champion takes it into her hand and nods her head out to the crowd as she begins to raise the mic to her mouth. She holds it there for a moment as the crowd starts to quiet down to hear what she has to say. As she speaks we hear her voice still has a hoarse feeling in it
Nevaeh: Thank you all for showing everyone back there in that locker room how proud you are that the Finest wrestler in this company and YOUR FW Champion is from Atlanta, G.A.
This garners another loud ovation from the crowd as the fans begin another “Ne-Vaeh” chant. Nevaeh softly nods her head as she starts walking around the ring
Nevaeh: Atlanta is where I was born and raised and I am happy as could be to come back here with this..
Nevaeh held up the FFW Championship
Nevaeh: They never wanted me to have it, but that’s the thing about us Georgia folk, we don’t give a damn what you say, we take what we want...
Another loud roar
Nevaeh: We do what we want to do…
Another loud cheer
Nevaeh: And above all else when you put us up against a corner you better believe we’re fighting our way out.
Nevaeh eventually stopped circling the ring and came back to the middle of it, putting her title on her shoulder. She looked to be getting emotional the more she took in this reception
Nevaeh: That’s what we are all about, that’s why one of your own is The Finest in the world of professional wrestling. I worked my ass of to get where I am today. I went through all FFW had to offer to get this title right now. I’m the top of the food chain in this company and you all have shown the proper respect a champion gets so Atlanta thank you!
This causes another loud ovation followed by a chant of “No One Finer”. This actually brings a small smile on Nevaeh’s face as she just soaks it in for a moment. She got so wrapped up in it she headed to a corner and held her title up in the air. She even starts motioning them to get louder by waving an arm in the air. Even pointing to her ear and to then to the stage as if to say “make sure they keep hearing you”.
Nevaeh eventually got off the rope and headed back to Silas, who just stands there and just watches and hears all of this unfolding. He eventually looks at Nevaeh and gives her a subtle look. Picking up on it Nevaeh nodded her head.
Nevaeh: I am the class of FFW. I hold the holy grail here, I am everything you want in a wrestler..yet there’s disrespect shown my way by this company and it’s talent. Case in point this title match I have against Caroline Dallins…
Nevaeh got cut off by the crowd as there were cheers for “The Instant Classic”, but also hostile boos. That reaction captured Silas attention fully. Nevaeh was surprised as well as she had never heard Caroline’s name garner that reaction...it pleased her.
Nevaeh: Oh yeah Ms baddest bitch and hero of FFW has been granted a title match against me on April 27th by Cody Kincaid. It’s a not shocking is it? No it’s not, it’s also not fair either to me. I thought I was done defending my title till Unstoppable. The biggest event in the this sport and I was going back to the main event. After what I have done for as FFW Champion, what I have done for this company, I should have been given it with gratitude. But instead we want to do a solid for Caroline and giving her her long awaited rematch.. What we have here is blatant favoritism being displayed. Caroline should not be getting a title match, we all know that don’t we Atlanta?
The crowd agrees with Nevaeh
Nevaeh: But she is, she’s being put in my way to try and stop me from getting what I richly deserve. I should be in the main event of Unstoppable, defending MY FFW Title against whoever you want to put in my way. Instead I have to deal with an unnecessary match. But that’s not all. To add on to this my manager, the greatest manager in wrestling, Silas Mason..
Saying his name garnered the first negative reaction Nevaeh has gotten all night. Silas took note of it ashe stood there. Not wanting things to keep going Nevaeh quickly spoke up
Nevaeh: is being forced into a shark cage and hung above the ring like some sort human chandelier. It’s not right, it’s not right at all people. This whole thing is a sham. It’s disrespectful to me. You do not treat your Champion like this...
“The One” by Slaughterhouse begins playing through the Phillips Arena as The Instant Classic gets a solid amount of boos as she stops not even a few inches from the curtains, looking up curiously as though she’s a bit perplexed by the hostility of the pro-Nevaeh, Atlanta crowd. That or perplexed about something else. She holds her microphone up...
Caroline: Hold on, hold on... If you’re going to boo me here, let’s at least do it right. Hey... Hey, cut the music. One more time. For the guys in the back... Play me off right.
Killer C pulls down her microphone before she disappears behind the curtain...
About five seconds later...
”Woke up this morning! (Yeah!) You got yourself a gun! (Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!)
Got yourself a gun!
Yo I’m livin’ in this time, behind enemy lines so...
I got mine I hope you... (Got yourself a gun!)
You from the hood I hope you... (Got yourself a gun!)”
Killer C emerges out from the curtains to a much less cheers than the last time, getting more furiously booed as she has her bandanna up over her nose and mouth and stands at the entrance curtains before strolling down with a hard pace, looking not out of place in a crime movie before she rolls into the ring, slapping the few (VERY few) hands that are extended for her before she rolls into the ring. She slumps into the corner as she continues getting booed and there’s even a small undercurrent of ‘No One Finer’ trying to cut its way through C’s entrance music. Nevaeh, who had been glaring at Caroline ever since she stepped foot on stage, tapped her ear and pointed to the crowd as she looked at her.The Instant Classic pulls down her bandana from her mouth as she holds the mic up, though she has to get a little louder to talk over the boos.
Caroline: Nevaeh--
Crowd: BBBBBOOOOOOOOOO!!
Caroline: Nevae--
Crowd: BBBBBBBBBBBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
Caroline: Nev--
Crowd: BBBBBBBBBBBBBBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
The Instant Classic stood there and realized the crowd she was dealing with was far different. Nevaeh though held a hand up as she stared at her next challenger.
Nevaeh: Oh were you trying to say something Caroline? It was hard to tell with an entire sold out arena booing your ass out of the building
That garnered cheers from the crowd as nevaeh gave Caroline a wry smile. Killer C itches the side of her head with the microphone and just cuts right through the expected boos this time, not trying to be polite enough to wait.
Caroline: Yeah, I don’t entirely miss being booed out of arenas even when it was happening to me long before the World’s Finest was a name in FFW. You know, I was going to just let you have this one, bask in this moment of self-deluded alternative facts but uh... How is it that I don’t deserve this rematch that has basically been put on hold for months? Why don’t you explain away that huh? A solid... I know you want to believe that in ooh, poor Nevaeh sniff sniff... The world is against her and Cody is against her! Sniff, sniff... How could this happen this poor, simple Georgia girl slash female model with paid sponsorships with a body modern medicine can’t replicate, perfect teeth, blonde hair, blue eyes sitting at the top of a company! Oh woe! WOE IS SHE!
Pause.
Caroline: Bitch get the fuck out of here with that.
The crowd really lets Caroline have it with that one, almost all but small pockets of the crowd booing her while the cheers of fans out of town who would be rallying behind her anywhere else are drowned out. It gets so bad that a chant breaks out.
Crowd: F-U-C! F-U-C! F-U-C! F-U-C! F-U-C! F-U-C! F-U-C! F-U-C! F-U-C! F-U-C! F-U-C! F-U-C! F-U-C! F-U-C! F-U-C! F-U-C! F-U-C! F-U-C! F-U-C! F-U-C! F-U-C!
Nevaeh and Caroline both take notice of the chant going on right now, Nevaeh speaking up first
Nevaeh: Been saying that for nine months now Atlanta. You know damn well Caroline what is going on here. This is collusion against me, that’s what this is. Me and Silas know it fully well that there’s a conspiracy going on against me right now. Just a few weeks ago I had to have YOU as special guest referee in my title match. YOU! Of all people..YOU! That’s not fair to me, to put that undeserved stress on my mind and body, waiting for the moment you were gonna stick a knife in my back and give her MY title. And I know you wanted to do it, I know you wanted to screw me out of it, cause I know how you feel about me. It’s the way I feel about you. That’s the one thing we can say about the other Caroline. We know where we stand with the other. Must be nice to have that feeling with someone after the way things have gone down, huh?
The crowd lets out a very audible “Ohh” to the reference Nevaeh is making. Caroline’s eyes narrow slightly but she doesn’t respond at all. Her hand lifts the microphone as though she was about to say something... But her hand falls back slightly as she seems to have nothing to say in the topic. She raises the microphone back up, choosing to ignore a specific part of what Nevaeh stated.
Caroline: Bullshit. Bull. Fucking. Shit. I called that match right down the middle. I could have screwed you over ten thousand times. I could have just let you bleed all over the place but I have enough respect for you that I called it as fair as humanly possible. Rather than let you disqualify each other I even switched the match to No DQ just so you could get it out of your system. There’s no goddamn conspiracy going on. Just you... Throwing excuse after excuse when you have it fucking better than most wrestlers would with your garbage attitude. Oh no, I have to wrestle again! ...Pull your big girl pants up and shut up.
Nevah began to scowl, but also slightly intimidated by the anger and frustration she could see coming off Caroline. The crowd was still on her side, but Nevaeh was well aware of who she was dealing with at the moment. Silas also saw how things were developing, just looking at Caroline with an appalled expression. Nevaeh made sure to watch Caroline carefully
Nevaeh: This goes far beyond just wrestling a match. This is for MY title. What I worked so hard to win. And after I get done with that match, where I am still not a hundred percent, there is suddenly a need to give you your rematch. Fresh as a daisy. The main event of Unstoppable should be mine, but instead they’re giving you a chance to take it from me. It’s not fair to me! I should have it already, defending my title there. But now I gotta fight you in The Garden in two weeks. But the worst thing is Silas is being put in an unfair spot. He should not be hung above the ring like some damn miscreant. He should be allowed to do his jo--
Caroline didn’t let Nevaeh finish her statement, instead getting right in the blonde’s face..
Caroline: HE TRIED TO FUCKING SET ME ON FIRE NEVAEH! YOU DON’T GET TO FUCKING TELL ME WHAT IS FUCKING FAIR ABOUT HIM!
The scream is so loud that the sound system in the arena has a nasty bit of feedback, Caroline’s hand shaking and her eyes wide. Nevaeh was visibly nervous at how close Caroline was to her. Silas was also leery, trying to make sure Nevaeh was in between him and Caroline. Her voice turns into a deadlier whisper now, but her hand is still shaking.
Caroline: I can take another wrestler trying to dismantle me. It’s what we do. Its our job. Just like me... Just like the want I have to make you tap at Madison Square Garden. The unforeseeable things you and I do to each other. It’s just what we do... But that... Sniveling... Inane... Piece of shit who hides behind you like a shield doesn’t need to be in the picture. Just you... Just me and just a ring. That’s all that’s necessary. Not him. Because there needs to be nothing... No question over who is better... And no one to stop anything if you’re caught in the middle of the ring. No one to save you from tapping out and rest assured as I look you right in your eyes...you will tap to me.
Caroline was animated at this point, staring down the FFW Champion, as Nevaeh just looked back at her..seemingly unsure of what to do at the moment. The crowd was still volatile and even got more so as Silas took the microphone from Nevaeh’s hand. He brought it to his mouth, standing over Nevaeh’s shoulder as he spoke
Silas:That was swell and all Caroline, but you’re deadass wrong. See what’s gonna happen here is simple. We gonna walk into The Garden. Just like we have everywhere else on this planet and win. We will overcome anything, anywhere. We don’t need anything but ourselves. We don’t even need these people here, we’ve done won without them cheering us on before and we’re gonna do it again?
This caused a very negative reaction from the crowd as Nevaeh peered over her shoulder and wondered what Silas was doing right now. Yet the Texan kept on going
Silas: Oh no..no you don’t get ta cheer her now. No I was here with her through everything. And we’ll get through Caroline too. I am not some piece of meat ta be hung above the ring. This is appalling. As for that whole fire thing...ya do what ya gotta do ta win. There were no rules, it’s about winning. It was business Caroline. I was making a business decision that night...get over it already.
The crowd kept on booing as Nevaeh started asking him “what are you doing?” The Instant Classic’s lip curled downward and she looked for a moment as though she was about ready to start frothing at the mouth. Right over Nevaeh’s shoulder Caroline’s hand reached out and clamped across Silas’s throat as she pressed him into the corner as the crowd seemed to suddenly swing in favor of C tearing Silas apart. Her fist cocked as Silas seemed to be like a deer in headlights before Nevaeh came rushing behind her and clocked her in the back of the head with the FFW Championship. Caroline dropped to the mat as Nevaeh now helped Silas get out of the ring. She too made a quick exit as they both made their way up the ramp in a brisk pace. As they reached the stage they both looked back at the ring as Caroline stirred, raising her head up and putting a hand on the back of her head as though checking her blood...
Her eyes quickly shifted back to Silas and Nevaeh, staring holes through the two of them. Nevaeh looked back at her and then at the title in her hands. Silas began yelling towards the ring “You’re never gonna win it!”. The crowd was booing, which seemed to also affect Nevaeh. As she kept looking at Caroline, who was getting to a knee, she held her title in the air.

The show heads back to the ring, and there we find Maggie with a spotlight overhead as she begins.
Zack: We’ve taken our last commercial break for the show, and just in time for one hell of a main event! Tell us about it, Maggie!
Maggie: The following match is scheduled for one fall to a finish, is a Champion vs Champion match and is your Main Event of the evening.
There was silence; the lights began to fade away slowly. A soft instrumental echoes out across the audience. It starts slowly, a beautiful sound that contrasts the heaviness of the world. Like feathers, it glides among the waiting audience. The lighting fixtures produce a gentle spotlight upon the stage, offset by the occasional flash here and there. As 'Just Close Your Eyes' by Waterproof Blonde continues to play, a woman’s words begin to come through. Her voice is tender, not raising upon a whisper.
Deceived by my eyes and all I was told I should see
Opinions not mine, the person they taught me to be
One night in the dark, a vision of someone I knew
And in the darkness I saw, a voice say, I'm you.
On the stage, a feminine figure appears. Her head lowered to everything. People cannot make out who it is. As she stands there, the flashes briefly illuminate her figure. It only gives small clues on who stands at the gate. She stands in the spotlight, her shadow cast large and proudly among the stage.
Inside me a light was turned on…
The instrumental picks up again. An electric guitar now joins the progressively exciting instrumentals of before. The singer’s voice suddenly intensifies.
Then I was alive!
In the light, it is revealed that it was Savannah Taylor. She stands at the gate, a robe of obsidian and ivory hues. The hood of it shadows her eyes, but the intensity of the final EXODUS World Champion remains clear as day. She starts off down the ramp, with a serious aura radiating from her body.
Maggie: Ladies and gentlemen, making her way down to the ring....weighing in at one hundred twenty pounds.....from Las Vegas, Nevada, she is the FFW No Surrender Champion....Savannah Taylor !!!
If you close your eyes your life,
A naked truth revealed
Dreams you never lived,
And scars never healed
Savannah makes her way up the ring steps. She looks out towards the audience for a moment before entering the ring. From there, she heads for a turnbuckle. She stands there, taking in everything. She then lifts her up on top of it. She peers out in nothing, then takes off the hood with a flashy flourish. Her blonde locks fly up in the air. They descend, shaping her face as they famously do.
Zack: Savannah Taylor may be one of the most prolific No Surrender Champions in FFW history, establishing her own brand prior to a hard fought retention against Vanessa Cade at Relentless.
Mai: You call it hard fought? I always knew Savannah would make the “Iron Pyrite Elbow” quit, ye of little faith.
In the darkness, light will take you to the other side
You'll find me waiting there you'll see, if you just close your eyes
While she stands in her corner, she closes her eyes and takes a heavy breath. When her bright eyes open, Taylor is completely composed. There is nothing more than the heat of battle awaiting her. She takes off her robe, giving it to a stagehand. She stretches her wrists before devoting her mind to the war upon the horizon.
“Titanium” Begins to strum out over the speakers, sending the arena into a pulse of pink and white strobes.
You shout it out, but I can’t hear a word your say
I’m talking loud, not saying much.
I’m criticised, but all your bullets ricochet.
Shoot me down, but I get up.
During the opening lines, Jo McFarlane steps out onto the stage to a pop from the crowd, belt wrapped snugly around her waist. She raises her arms to shoulder level, and begins to flap them somewhat, egging the crowd on.
Maggie: Making her way to the ring, hailing from Edinburgh, Scotland! Weighing in at one hundred and twenty-seven pounds, please welcome the FFW Evolution Champion... “THE LIVING FIREWORK”, JO MCFARLANE!
I’m bulletproof, nothing to lose,
Fire away, fire away!
Ricochet, you take your aim,
Fire away fire away!
You shoot me down, but I won’t fall,
I am titanium!
You shoot me down, but I won’t fall,
I am titanium!
During the more upbeat chorus, Jo runs down the ramp to a series of pyro that goes off with her steps down the ramp. She carries on the momentum to veer around a corner, up the steps, grabbing the top rope and flipping over them, landing on her feet to another pop from the crowd. She then takes off towards her corner, where she ascends the middle turnbuckle, removes her title and holds her arms out wide with title in hand, taking in the noise from the crowd. Jumping down, she looks into the ring and does some last minutes stretches while her music fades out.
Zack: Jo McFarlane is the ONLY woman to leave Relentless as a new champion, and she did so in tremendous fashion by overcoming Steph Stefano and Leona Vega in a triple threat match.
Mai: Well that’s aincent history now, Zack. Winning the title is one thing, keeping it is another. That’s always been Jo’s downfall, but not Savannah’s. She’s one of the champions who retained in Dallas, which deserves mentioning.
The two women hand off their titles to the ringside attendants before Kevin Fisk checks both women are ready to start and calls for the bell to start the contest. The pair come out from their respective corners, circling each other before they lock up only for it to result in stalemate as both wrestlers manage to hold their ground. Separating they both take a step backwards and begin to look for another opening that sees Jo the first to move, nipping forward as she feinted the lock up once more before she went low, attempting a single leg takedown only for Savannah to widen her stance in an effort to prevent getting sent to mat and counter by bringing both of her fists down into McFarlane’s spine. Still Jo tries to score the takedown and again the blonde delivers two more blows with both hands to her foe’s spine forcing her to free the picked leg enough for Savannah to move around behind her opponent and apply a rear waistlock, attempting a German suplex that the Scot blocks. Taylor cinches up on the hold, wrapping her arms tighter around the woman’s waist before trying for the suplex once more. Again the red haired wrestler blocks the attempted throw as she sent an elbow backwards three times, catching the taller woman with a glancing blow on her shoulder and as Taylor loosened her grip Jo took hold of her wrist and locked in a hammerlock.
Zack: Fans may recall that Jo McFarlane was also a No Surrender Champion in days gone by, so she should prove to be more than a match for Savannah.
Mai: Uh huh. I’ll remind you again. Savannah defended her title successfully, that’s usually a bit of a problem for Jo.
McFarlane leaned in close against Savannah’s back as she wrenched the arm up further behind Taylor’s back causing her to grimace as the blonde attempted a futile back elbow with Jo well out of range. Taylor’s arm came across her body to hold her shoulder, gritting her teeth as McFarlane further increased the torque and Savannah’s foot came down on Jo’s instep with a stomp. A second stomp saw Jo take a step backwards as she relinquished the hold only for the No Surrender Champion to spin, deliver another stiff kick to the side of Jo’s knee before she grabbed the Scot by the wrist jerking her forward into a rising knee to the gut. As Jo started to double over Savannah sent her face first to the canvas with a spinning wristlock. Jo immediately pushed up onto her knees and one hand while Savannah kept the wristlock applied on the other, holding it as she left her feet and delivered a leg drop to McFarlane’s shoulder that sent the Living Firework face first back to the mat. The instant they landed the No Submission Champion looked to apply the Lebell lock but never even came close as Jo jerked her arm away from her and rolled away.
Mai: Ever since she won the title, you can see how much it’s boosted Savannah’s confidence. Not that it was low before, but with it, she’s just that much better.
Zack: No one is going to shortsell the No Surrender Champion. She impressed the hell out of me at Relentless. You can also see she’s almost always looking for submissions as a result too, even when the title isn’t on the line.
Taylor came to her feet with a grin on her face telling McFarlane that she just needed one small opening to make her tap as the red haired woman was pushing up to her feet, eyes fixed on Taylor. The Scot took a moment to roll her shoulder as she walked around the ring, the Las Vegas Siren, still smiling as she waved her opponent forward, challenging her to another lock up. McFarlane came forward and engaged her foe but before she was fully in the collar and elbow, Jo delivered a deep arm drag takedown. Taylor hit the mat, rolled through and came to her feet only to receive a dropkick to the chest that sent her down momentarily, coming back up to her feet only to be sent across the ring one more time with another armdrag. Once more the American wrestler begins to push up only for Jo to charge at her, catching her as she gets to one knee with a running knee to the jaw that causes Taylor to come up to her feet, reeling away from her and getting a series of knife edge chops that Jo used to drive her back into the corner.
Zack: You were talking about the confidence that Savannah has had since capturing the titanium title? I’d say Jo has stepped up her game too.
Mai: She has no choice. The Evolution title has always been one of the most sought after titles in the company. She’ll either step up or not keep it very long.
McFarlane brought her knees up into her opponent’s gut before she fired her across the ring with the Irish whip into the opposite corner, following in behind her, she left her feet to deliver a splash that caught her foe perfectly. Savannah tried to step out of the corner but didn’t manage to take more than one step forward before her jaw was tagged with a European uppercut that sent her back into the corner; The Living Firework followed up the blow by leaving her feet and sending her flying back towards the middle of the ring with a monkey flip. Kipping up to her feet, Jo stalked the rising Savannah, waiting until she was just about back to a vertical base before the Scot charged and delivered a running clothesline that took her back down to the mat, Jo not stopping her momentum as she continued towards the ropes and used them to springboard backwards into a moonsault that landed perfectly across Taylor’s body as she started to try and sit up. Jo held on and reached to hook the leg for the cover.

Mai: Jo’s learning quickly that Savannah Taylor takes a lot more than that to put away. I could have told her that, but I’m not her agent.
Zack: I’m sure it’s a decision she laments regularly.
As the Las Vegas Siren kicked out, Jo knelt over her and delivered a pair of right hands to her face before she brought her upwards, delivering a headbutt as they got vertical that caused her opponent to take a step backwards giving Jo enough separation to deliver a spinning back fist, continuing to spin all the way around and deliver a front kick to her gut when she was once more face to face with the No Surrender Champion. Taylor doubled over and as she did so, the Scottish born wrestler sent her to the canvas with a spinning neckbreaker. McFarlane rolled over and locked in a side headlock on the blonde, wrenching it on tighter only to transition it into a running bulldog as Taylor fought her way to her feet. As she landed on the mat, Jo quickly floated over to her back and applied a camel clutch, placing Savannah’s arms over her knees as she sat down and pulled back on her head using a chinlock.
Zack: Jo’s putting on a wrestling clinic here in the early part of this match, and I’m not sure Savannah was expecting it.
Mai: Jo usually likes to do a lot more flippy stuff, so I imagine Savannah may have expected her to take more chances….which she hasn’t as much. I blame Jo for that though.
Kevin Fisk asked Savannah if she wished to quit only to get a refusal from the blonde as she endured the hold for a couple more moments, kicking her feet as she tried to find a way to escape. McFarlane leaned back further, pulling back more on her head in the camel clutch as she bent her foes spine further. Still the No Surrender Champion refused to submit when asked by the official and started to move, bringing her knees up underneath her as she managed to free her arms. Jo let go of the chinlock and left her feet, crashing down in a sitting position on the spine of Siren as she was on all fours driving her face first back into the mat once more. The Evolution Champion stood up and grabbed hold of the blonde’s head as she got to her hands and knees, jerking upwards quickly only to drive her back down with a snapped off DDT. Rolling her over Jo looked to make the cover, hooking the leg as she did so.

Zack: Jo is doing an excellent job of controlling the pace here, and the No Surrender Champion still doesn’t seem to have an answer for it. But she did kick out right there.
Taylor kicked out once more and pushed up to her knees as the Scottish wrestler was quick to her feet, accepting the count from the official and began to unload with a series of kicks delivered straight into Taylor’s sternum. As the blonde crossed her arms over her chest to take the force of the blows, pushing up to one knee only for the Living Firework to take hold of her head and bring it forward into her rising knee that caused to sway backwards. Jo didn’t give her opponent any time to recover, moving around behind her quickly and locked in a dragon sleeper, hooking her head from behind and yanking up on it as she tried to cut off the flow of blood to the head. The experienced official checked the hold and declared it legal; Jo leaning backwards a little further, dropping down to one knee, in an attempt to make the hold more effective. Savannah claws at Jo’s arm as she looks to loosen her grip before she tried to throw an elbow backwards towards her gut only to miss. The American tried again, pushing slowly up to her feet as she sought to alleviate the pressure slightly, her movements starting to slow before the referee stopped getting an answer from her and lifted her arm into the air, releasing it and allowing it to drop.
Mai: Now are you ready to start singing the praises of Savannah yet? You orally fellated Jo for the last five minutes!
Zack: I’m married, and probably not her type…..
He lifted it once more and again it fell limply down; the official holding up to fingers before he took hold of her wrist once more, raising it up into the air.
Zack: One more drop, and Savannah’s about to win the first main event of her FFW career.
Mai: First of MANY, Zack.
This time as he realised it, the hand stayed upwards as the official waved off his count and Taylor began to push with her feet, using all the strength in her legs to drive backwards, starting to stumble as her momentum took over, sending Jo back into the ropes, allowing Taylor to grab hold of them. Fisk called for the break and started the count, seeing Jo release the hold on three count. As soon as she did, Savannah spun towards her and half falling drove a forearm into Jo’s gut. The American in desperation immediately followed that up by wrapping her arms around Jo’s thighs, lifting her off the mat and dropped her with a stun gun throat first over the top rope. Jo staggered backwards, gasping for breath as Savannah dropped to one knee, also sucking in air and holding her head as she tried to recover from the Dragon Sleeper. McFarlane recovered first and moved to re-assert her advantage only for Taylor to come to her feet and deliver a throat thrust with her open hand to the advancing Scot. The Evolution Champion barely got a chance to register the blow before she was taken to the mat with a drop toe hold and the American immediately floated over her back and locked in an STF. Fisk dropped and asked the Scottish wrestler if she wanted to quit, getting a ‘No’ from Jo.
Mai: You ever been in a STF? It’s not a fun way to spend a Thursday night. Jo could just go ahead and quit, no one would be surprised.
Zack: I’d love to meet all these people you know that find Jo to be a routine quitter in ANY situation, much less a match with this magnitude.
Taylor pulled back further in the hold; the Evolution Champion refusing to submit to the hold as she begun to slowly move her body around and reached out for the ropes, grabbing hold of the bottom rope. Fisk called for the break before starting the count, getting to four before Savannah released her hold and rolled onto her knees before she pushed up to her feet, dragging Jo up with her and delivered a closed fist straight into her kidney area, followed by a second before she spun her around and delivered a roundhouse kick to the side of her head. McFarlane staggered and fell backwards, landing with her back against the ropes to stay on her feet before she was sent in for the ride. As the red haired grappler returned the Las Vegas Siren left her feet to deliver a Thesz press, driving her back into the mat as she mounted her and started to throw right and left hands to her head. The official once more ordered the break, telling the American to let her opponent up to her feet only to see Taylor nod as she threw one more hammerblow and yanked Jo to her feet by the wrist as she sent her across the ring into the corner. McFarlane hit the turnbuckles and Savannah followed her in, driving a yakuza kick into her chest. The blonde followed up by flashing two kicks into her foes midriff before she pulled her out of the corner lifted her vertical and dropped her downwards with a brainbuster. Bringing Jo’s arms against her side, Taylor reached down to hook the outside leg as she made the cover.

Zack: A nasty brainbuster, but Jo was able to escape the fall. Coincidentally that was the first time the No Surrender Champion went for a cover since the bell rang.
Mai: She’s got a varied arsenal, Zack. She’s not as one dimensional as you might like to believe.
Zack: When did I say that?
Jo kicked out and rolled away from the American wrestler as Savannah took a half second to scowl at the referee before coming to her feet. Her foe began to push up to all fours and Taylor left her feet, coming down on the back of Jo’s head with a curb stomp that drove her face into the canvas. The No Surrender Champion dropped to her knees, rolled Jo onto her back and made the cover once more.
Mai: Jo has a moon-like face, and now it’s going to have Savannah’s boot print on her cheek too!

Again McFarlane kicked out of the pinfall and Taylor rolled away from her opponent once more returning to her feet and this time headed towards the corner. Stepping out onto the apron, the Las Vegas native climbed to the top turnbuckle and waved the redhead to her feet, waiting for her to turn to face her before she leapt into a flip, landing on the Evolution Champions shoulders before she snapped her downwards into the Welcome To Sin City Dragonrana, kneeling over her as she hooked both legs for the cover.
Zack: WELCOME TO SIN CITY!! Taylor’s got it right here!!

...THR-
Mai: Animal instinct, Zack. That’s all that was. Jo doesn’t know if she’s in Atlanta or Azerbaijan.
McFarlane’s shoulder pops up from the canvas at the two half count as Savannah this time glared daggers towards Fisk as the man held up two fingers in front of her, pointing to McFarlane’s shoulder popping up at the last moment. Getting to her feet the Vegas-ite shook her head at the experienced official, clapping her hands together three times as she demonstrated how he should count before turning away from him as he tried to explain that the shoulder came up in time. The blonde found her opponent had crawled to the ropes and had started to pull herself up to her feet that prompted the No Surrender Champion to drop back to the ropes, bouncing off them as she built up momentum and flung herself into a tiger feint kick as Jo leaned over the middle rope. The blow caused the Scot to roll away and to her feet, holding her nose as she stumbled, turning in a circle as Taylor waited for her on the apron, grabbing hold of the top rope as she used for a slingshot to bring her back into the ring and into a flying forearm that caught Jo square in the jaw and sent her back down to the canvas.
Zack: That’ll rattle your molars right there, and Jo dropped like a house of cards off the impact.
Mai: Well that is a fitting analogy, since Savannah does like to use a move she calls the Ace of Spades. A personal favorite of mine, I might add.
On instinct the red haired former No Surrender Champion rolled to the side, off her back, and began to push her way back to a vertical base. The current No Surrender Champion stalked around behind her, bringing her hands together and resting her head against them to mimic someone going to sleep before she approached the risen Jo from behind, capturing a wrist as she pulled her arm upwards and applied a Cobra Clutch. Using her slight height advantage in her favour Taylor arched her back, lifting Jo up onto her tiptoes as she twisted from side to side all while tightening up the hold. Fisk checked on Jo, asking her if she wanted to quit only to get a refusal from the Scottish wrestler. The American shook her once more as Jo tried to prise her arm from across her throat only for her movements to start to slow, prompting the blonde to drop her back to her feet and lean forward into the hold this time, pressing her weight onto her and forcing McFarlane’s head forward causing the Evolution Champion’s eyes to close. Fisk asked Jo the question once more...barely getting a response from her and lifted her arm in the air. It dropped to Jo’s side and Fisk did it again only to see it drop once more. Again he lifted it up, holding it for a moment.
Zack: We are dangerously close yet again to the referee stopping this match if Jo’s arm falls once more.
Mai: Typical Jo, sleeping on the job!
As he released the Scotswoman’s arm dropped halfway before stopping, the hand closing and opening into a fist as she tried to get the blood pumping before she lashed backwards with her foot, catching Taylor right on the shin with her boot. As Savannah tried to re-adjust her feet to stay out of the way of more kicks Jo pushed forward with her feet, dragging her more of balance as she dragged all one hundred and fifteen pounds of blonde Las Vegas resident with her, towards the turnbuckles, getting just close enough to enable her to kick up onto the middle rope and push backwards with all her might, causing Savannah to fall backwards, hold still tightly locked in, Jo on her chest and shoulders on the mat. Fisk slid into position, checking the shoulders quickly and began the count.
Mai: Wait!! That’s not how this is supposed to go! Don’t count that!!!
One…

...THRE-
Zack: Good Lord, Savannah almost pinned herself with that sleeper hold!
Savannah released the sleeper hold and pushed McFarlane away from her, the Scot rolling onto her front unmoving except for the highly noticeable rise and fall of her chest and the kicking of her foot against the canvas. Meanwhile the Siren rolled to her knees in shock, asking Fisk for confirmation and getting the two count shown to her as she got to her knees. The blonde stared at him for another moment before her eyes crossed over to Jo, seeing her start to stir on the mat. Taylor got to a vertical base while her opponent slowly began to rise, getting to one knee before Savannah rushed forward, stepping up onto her bent leg as she went for a shining wizard only for McFarlane to bring her arms up and catch onrushing leg, deflecting the blow upwards and away from her head. Taylor adjusted in midair, landing on one foot as her momentum carried her around to face away from the Evolution Champion who quickly came upwards, applied a rear waistlock and quickly snapped off a release German suplex that saw Taylor fly backward into the corner - the back of her head crashing into the middle turnbuckle before she slumped against the corner - while Jo laid back on the mat still breathing deeply.
Mai: Jo’s sucking wind in there, Zack. She’s gassed already, and that’s just giving Savannah time to recover.
Zack: These two have gone full tilt for quite a while, and it’s quite understandable that both of them are running on fumes right now.
Fisk checked on both competitors, both confirming they were okay to continue before they both started to rise nearly simultaneously; Jo just a step ahead of her opponent. McFarlane started to move towards the blonde only to suddenly duck down as Savannah suddenly spun towards her, trying to surprise her with the Desert Rose Uraken; the fist flying over the ducked foe and getting a back kick into the abdomen from the Evolution Champion. Taylor bent forward after taking the kick to the gut allowing Jo to spin towards her, grab her head and jerk it downwards into a single knee facebreaker. Taylor stumbled backwards holding her nose, finding her composure before she charged forward at Jo who jumped into the air, looking for the leapfrog only to change her mind at the last minute as she turned it into a headscissors takedown. The Evolution Champion rolled through the takedown as they landed in the middle of the ring and grabbed hold of her opponent by leg and foot as she cinched in an ankle lock on her.
Zack: Ankle lock, and Savannah’s face tells the story right now! Jo may make the No Surrender Champion quit!
Mai: No way! That won’t happen! It’ll never happen….don’t let it happen, Savannah!
Savannah’s eyes went wide as the Edinburgh native applied pressure on the ankle as she reached for the ring ropes, finding them far away on all sides of her as Jo had it locked in in the middle of the ring. The Evolution Champion tightened applied a little more pressure on her opponent’s ankle, causing the blonde to push up onto her hands, refusing to quit as Fisk asked her and began to lash out behind her wildly with her free foot, pistoning it backwards, catching her opponent with a mixture of glancing blows and full blooded kicks into any part of her body that happened to get in the way before she started to find her range and delivered four kicks to the same spot on Jo’s arm causing the Scot to release her. Jo shook her head before throwing it back and cupping her hands around her mouth to call out to the crowd, causing them to get a little louder as she started to move around, staying behind Savannah Taylor as she rose.
Mai; That’s how you do it, Savannah! Kick her anywhere you want, it won’t hurt her looks any, I promise!
The Las Vegas native got her feet underneath her, tentatively trying to put weight on the ankle. She never got to find out how badly hurt she was as Jo immediately moved forward, hooking her arms from behind as she went for a Full Nelson but never quite got it fully locked in as Taylor fought against it. Regardless Jo tried to sweep her legs out from under her and bring the No Surrender Champion down with a Full Nelson bomb...but managed only to give Savannah enough leeway for her to duck down out of the hold and behind Jo. The Submission expert immediately brought her arms up and wrapped them around her opponent’s head and in a flash had the rear naked choke locked in. Jo flailed for a moment as she realised too late that the hold was coming and the blonde tried to drag the smaller woman towards the middle of the ring only to let out a cry of pain as she planted her foot attached to the ankle that had been locked in an ankle lock and fell to the mat. Undeterred Savannah applied the body scissors anyway, squeezing the air from Jo’s body with her legs as her arms tightened up like a boa constrictor. Fisk moved into position and asked Jo who refused to tap out.
Zack: That rear naked choke is expertly applied! And Jo will either tap out or pass out in a matter of moments if she can’t find a way to get out of it.
Mai: Either of the first two options would be acceptable to me, and the brand behind Savannah, Zack.
Jo’s hands moved from Savannah’s arms to her legs as she looked to find a way out of the hold - Taylor careful to keep her damaged ankle on the bottom side of the body scissors - only for McFarlane to find herself squeezed a little tighter. Still she refused to quit, the red haired wrestler starting to rock from side to side, building up momentum to roll them both onto their sides, allowing Jo to plant her feet better on the mat and push to the side as she again dragged all of Savannah’s dead weight with her, still refusing to quit in the submission and finally managed to stretch out with her leg and hook a toe over the bottom rope.
Mai: Seriously?! That’s going to count! It’s the freaking toe of her boot, it’s not like she has a good grip on the rope!
Zack: The rulebook doesn’t say you have to hug the rope like a sailor coming home from shore leave, Mai!
Mai: Well it should!
Fisk called for the break but didn’t get it immediately, starting the count on the No Surrender Champion who kept the choke hold locked, milking the official’s five count for every millisecond she could before releasing right before he counted five. The Las Vegas Siren rolled back to her feet and headed over towards the nearest corner, stepping out to the apron as she climbed to the top rope and hunkered down there as McFarlane gathered her wits about her and began to rise. As The Living Firework turned to face the blonde, Savannah straightened up and launched herself into a missile dropkick that missed as Jo spun away at the final second; Taylor landing hard on the canvas. As she began to rise Jo grabbed her from behind, hauling her upwards before sending her falling forwards into the BANG! wheelbarrow facebuster. Rolling herself and the American over, McFarlane pushed upwards slightly grabbing hold of her opponent’s legs, hooking them as she sat back on her chest to for the pinfall.
One…
Two…
...THREE!!!!!!NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mai: So much for the BANG! It was more a weak whimper!
Fisks had hits the mat for the third time but he immediately waves it off, throwing up the two count with one hand and pointing at the bottom rope where Taylor had it gripped in one hand. The show went to split screen as he explained the decision to Jo, the replay supporting the referee’s decision as it shows the No Surrender Champion’s hand coming up and grabbing the rope in the nick of time. Jo stares at him in disbelief before coming to her feet, checking one more time to ensure that she’s got the referee’s decision correct before she nods her head. Taylor used the ring ropes to pull herself to her feet and the Living Firework charged towards the opposite ropes, bouncing off them for momentum as the No Surrender Champion steps forward. Jo left her feet and spun around her opponent’s head as the former No Surrender champion attempted to lock in the Gingervitis christo hold only for the current No Surrender Champion to block the move and push her off, taking a step backwards.
Zack: Savannah had Jo’s favorite submission scouted damn well! She felt it coming, and sent Jo away before it was too late!
Mai: That’s WHY she is the No Surrender Champion!
Jo landed on her feet only to immediately throw herself towards her opponent, leaving her feet as she went for the lungblower that she delivered with such violent ferocity that she sent her flipping over her head and down to the canvas. Quickly The Living Firework dove on top of her for the cover, reaching for the leg as she did so.
Mai: What’s she trying to do?! Implode her lungs!?
One…
Two…
...THREE!!!
Zack: That was the harshest lungblower I’ve ever seen, and Jo McFarlane picks up a big one right here in Atlanta!!
Kevin Fisk called for the bell as Jo rolled away and slowly came up to her feet as Maggie made the announcement and Fisk retrieved the Evolution Championship.
Maggie: Here is your winner, by way of pinfall, the FFW Evolution Champion… “THE LIVING FIREWORK” JO MCFARLANE!!!
Mai: Savannah should have had this more than once, ugh!
Zack: Jo McFarlane has asserted herself and the Evolution division well tonight against a very tough Savannah Taylor. We’ll be in the Garden in 2 weeks, and the main event….whoo boy….the FFW Championship will be defended right here on Velocity in a rematch from Unstoppable!
Mai: I prefer the Sin & Sacrifice version, but take your pick! Caroline’s gonna blow it, and we’ll have a Baby Peach headlining Unstoppable again this year!
Zack: I can’t wait to see this one, we’ll see you at Breaking Point!
Fisk raised her hand into the air, before presenting her with the Evolution Championship and Jo began her celebrations while Fisk returned the No Surrender Championship to its current holder. With the title in her hand, Jo headed towards the corner and climbed to the middle rope, holding the title aloft as the crowd cheered her before the show faded off the air.
