March 31, 2018


The FFW logo flashes across the screen before we see still images from the recent Fury Pay Per View, including the crowning of new Tornado Tag Champions, a new Fast Track Champion as well as the victory celebration of the new FFW Champion Kaoru Asaka. Also shown are shots from SVW’s invasion, including the ending of the FFW Championship match. Afterwards, we go live into the arena as “Money and the Power” by Kid Ink stares to play to quite the boisterous response from the crowd when the COO steps through the curtain onto the stage.

Zack: We’re live, folks, and as you can see, we are being joined by the Chief Operations Officer of FFW, Seth Star!

Mai: He has a LOT to answer for, Zack. Maybe he’s coming out to resign, it’s the right decision.

Seth heads up the steps into the ring, taking a microphone from Maggie with a word of thanks as his music begins to fade out while the crowd continues to show him support.

Seth: How many of you watched Fury?

This got a very loud response as he nodded his head, looking out amongst the crowd for a second before he continued.

Seth: Before I begin, allow me to congratulate the three new champions who were crowned at Fury: Scarlett Silver, KO/TO, and the new FFW Champion herself...Kaoru Asaka!

Two out of three names draw a very positive response as Seth mentions them.

Seth: Now onto what I came to talk about. Several weeks ago, I invited Alexander Stryfe and SVW to come to Fury. And what took place was an embarrassment. You see, I made the mistake of assuming my sister would know that it was only good for business to have a strong working relationship with a company that we share so many talent with, like SVW. I assumed she would see this as a gesture of good will. And I was wrong.

He took a deep breath as he shook his head.

Seth: Instead she refused to allow the owner of the company into the building, which set off a chain of events that….frankly, I am going to take responsibility for happening.

Mai: Good! It is his fault, after all.

Seth: I apologize to those who were harmed by the events that took place, including the new FFW Champion and her partner. And...to you, Zack.

Seth heads towards the side of the ring closest to Zack.

Seth: There’s no cause for what happened to you to have taken place. For that, I do apologize.

He turned back to the crowd as Zack nodded his head.

Seth: But you see, if I err, I will try to resolve it. And that’s what I am here to do tonight. This past Sunday, I visited former COO Cody Kincaid at a SVW show to discuss an idea I had for how we can stop this before it breaks out into something that we can’t control. He and I have rarely seen eye to eye on anything since we’ve known each other, but he agreed with my idea. And what I am going to propose is that--

Police officers headed down the ramp towards the ring, getting Seth’s attention as they headed into the ring. As they entered the ring, the cameras picked up the conversation as one officer was talking to Seth.

Officer: Mr. Star, you’re under arrest for criminal trespass. You’re going to have to come with us, sir.

Seth: ...What?

Officer: You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to an attorney. If you cannot afford an attorney, one will be appointed for you.

Seth: Are you kidding me? I’m the COO of this company!

Officer: Do you understand these rights as they have been described to you?

Seth was awestruck as he looked out at the booing crowd before one of the other officers handcuffed him. The crowd booed even louder as they escorted him out of the ring, and up the ramp.

Zack: Samantha Star has had her brother...the COO of this company...arrested!

Mai: Good! Maybe a few nights in the jug will help him see the light! Don’t worry, Savannah. There are better options for a boyfriend out there!

Zack: I want to know what the plan is he discussed with Cody, but Seth Star is heading to the local precinct house! This is ridiculous! I bet Savannah’s not a happy woman either! I’ve never seen anything like this!

Mai: Ain’t it great?

A quick flash of the FFW logo is shown on the screen before we go inside the Future Shock Center with a song barely playing in the background as a young woman steps up to a dumbbell  loaded with plates. “One Woman Army” by Porcelain Black starts to pick up in volume in the background. She glances up to the TV as she takes a deep breath, with flashes of Emma MacNamara cracking her knuckles, Kelly Kincaid connecting with a shooting star press, Sophia Pike applying her Fujiwara armbar, and then the Scarborough Fair climbing both sides of a ladder. The woman in the Center tries to pick the weights up, but doesn’t quite make it before she drops them back to the floor.

Another glance to the television as Steph Stefano taps her newspaper against her hand, Alysson and Valerie standing over Steph, Natalya Demidov standing over a fallen opponent, Ruby Tyler climbing the turnbuckles with a smile on her face. Isis delivering the Voyage to Armageddon, Scarlett Silver glancing over her shoulder, and finally Artemis Kaiser delivering a Stockton Slap. The woman in the Center grabs the dumbbell again, and with a scream, she pulls it up over her head. From there, Breaking Point returns to  the air inside the arena with all the requisite pyro and ballyhoo.





We head to the ring as the lovely Maggie Rourke gets quite a few wolf whistles as she steps inside and heads for the center.

Mai: Zack, I’ve just been informed that Seth is really going to jail! Ahahahaha, they are taking him to a police cruiser now!

Zack: This is asinine. If we get any updates on this situation, we’ll keep you posted.

Maggie: The opening contest of Breaking Point is scheduled for one fall!

Zack: Thank you for joining us! You’re watching Breaking Point! We are live from the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio! And the fallout from Fury begins tonight!

Mai: Three new champions were crowned at Fury, Zack. And there was that other thing that we aren’t going to talk about because it was horse shit!

As the opening bars to Misfit by Amy Studt hit the speakers Caitlyn Storm appears from behind the curtain. The lights go out and a simple white pyrotechnic flashes making it look like lightning.

Maggie: Introducing at this time....Hailing from New York City, New York and weighing in at One Hundred and Twenty-Six pounds...She is Caitlyn Storm!

As the lights come back on Caitlyn makes her way down the ramp, smiling and tagging the fans hands as she passes and even stopping for a few fans to take selfies on their mobiles. She runs the rest of the way to the ring and jumps up onto the apron, then grabs onto the top rope with both hands and leapfrogs over it to land in the ring. She raises her hands up waving to the fans.

Zack: We are about to see two of FFW’s rising stars and most beloved go at it one on one here. Caitlyn looks ready as ever, and will be looking to put those educated feet to work against the speedster she’s about to face.

Mai: Speedster? Did she become the Flash? Whatever! I don’t have anyone to cheer for, so I will just support Angelina’s ass. Besides Caitlyn is looking chubby.

The techno beat of Britney Spear’s “Work Bitch” hits over the speakers and out walks Angelina Fantastica in a pair of pink aviator sunglasses and a matching satin baseball jacket with “Fantastica” emblazoned on the back in white script. She struts down the ramp, high-fiving fans and blowing kisses to the crowd as she works her way toward the ring.

Maggie: Introducing from Staten Island, New York… she is Angelina Fantastica!

As she gets to the end of the ramp Angelina takes a few steps back, tosses her jacket and sunglasses to the side, and takes a running leap toward the ring, somersaulting over the top rope and landing on her feet with a bright smile, stretching out her arms to wave to the crowd before making her way to her corner.

Zack: All heart and determination personified is the best way to describe Angelina Fantastica, who has a busy week ahead of her with tonight and her upcoming match at Velocity with Jolyne Dysart.

Mai: She’s not exactly got an easy few days ahead, but I’m sure that’s how she likes it. Mainly because people with that mindset are dumb, and they don’t know any better.

Referee Melinda Davis checks both women, and calls for the bell as Maggie leaves the ring. A dueling chant from the crowd show support from both women before they shake hands and lock up in the center of the ring. Caitlyn begins pushing her backwards, but Angelina breaks the lock up and shoves her back a step to deliver a standing dropkick to her chest. It puts the blonde down for only a split second before Angelina opens up with forearms one after another to the side of her head. She rocks her backwards a couple steps before using a snapmare to seat her on the mat. Fantastica immediately bounces off the near side, catching her with another dropkick but to the back this time. And before Caitlyn can fully get to her feet, Angelina spins into her with a discus clothesline followed up by a leg drop across her chest.

Zack: Angelina’s just that fast that she can hit you several times before you even have a chance to respond to the first shot. I’m not sure Caitlyn’s faced anyone with her speed.

Mai: She’s definitely never faced anyone with an ass like that, Zack. And I feel that is what we need to be focusing on. Do you know how much icing I could lick off that ass?

Caitlyn began to sit up again, only to take several knees to the back. She was pulled to her feet, and fired across for the ride. Storm crashed into the turnbuckle back first a second before Angelina delivered an avalanche splash into her body. She quickly grabbed her head as she landed, and used the ropes for a springboard bulldog to the canvas. A quick rollover follow that, and she made a cover.

Zack: Angelina looking for shock and awe here, hoping to catch Caitlyn off guard!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

NOPE!!

Storm kicked out as the two struck, shoving Angelina off the cover. But the New York native was immediately back to her feet. She hit the ropes as Caitlyn was getting up, and caught a running forearm to the jaw that sent her backwards off balance.

Mai: Angelina’s doing well here, I’m just not sure if she can hold this tempo for a whole match. She’s using a lot of energy.

With the former fitness instructor wobbly on her feet, Fantastica darted past her at high speed. She bounced off the near side again and left her feet for a high cross body. But Storm caught her, and countered into a scoop powerslam to the mat. Angelina winced in pain as Caitlyn tried to pull herself together. She got back to her feet with her opponent not far behind her. Storm caught her with a kick to the stomach that doubled her over before she pulled her arm, and then unleashed a flurry of kicks to the body. Each shot doubled Angelina over a bit more before she rebounded off the ropes, and caught her with an axe kick across the back of her head to put her down.

Zack: There’s those feet we talk about in Caitlyn’s matches. She has pinpoint accuracy, and can throw them all night.

Mai: Does she have cankles, Zack: Because it looks like she’s got fat ankles from my vantage point.

As Fantastica started to get up, Caitlyn moved around behind her and grabbed her into a rear waistlock. Angelina tried to catch her with a back elbow, but it was too late before Storm snapped off a German suplex that sent Angelina rolling into the ropes. Fantastica was slow to get up with the help of the ropes, but Caitlyn wasn’t. She darted towards her as she turned around, delivering a bicycle kick to her face that dropped her like a rock. Storm used a cheerleader leg drop to follow that, and went for the cover.

Mai: It’s the hippo drop, Zack! That’s what those thighs remind me of!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOO-NOPE!!

Angelina put her leg across the rope to cause the count to stop. Caitlyn glanced up to see it herself before she climbed to her feet, and bounced off the middle rope for a double stomp into Angelina’s body.

Zack: No wasted motion from Caitlyn here, and right back to work on making Angelina hurt every time she takes a breath with all these stomps and kicks.

Angelina rolled under the rope, causing the referee to motion Caitlyn back. She did as instructed as Angelina got back to her feet. As soon as she did, Caitlyn went to grab her from behind. But Fantastastica surprised her with a jawbreaker that sent her staggering backwards. She quickly got back to her feet, and used the ropes for a springboard hurricanrana that spiked Caitlyn’s head into the mat. A rollover followed that before she went for the cover!

Zack: FANTASTICANRANA!! Angelina’s gonna take it!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THR-NOOOPE!!!

Caitlyn managed to get her shoulder up in time before the three came down. Angelina sat up on her knees, clutching her ribs for a second before she got back to her feet. Caitlyn tried to get away from her as she crawled towards the corner. This only brought a grin to Angelina’s face before she took off with a running hip check to Storm’s head.

Mai: GLIMPSE OF HEAVEN!! Zack, this is the first time in my life I ever wanted to trade places with a fat girl like Caitlyn. You know how much I’d pay for her to do that to me?!

She dragged the blonde out of the corner by her feet, and headed for the corner. She climbed to the top rope, glancing to see where Caitlyn was behind her before she launched into a moonsault. Storm rolled away from her, and Angelina landed on her feet with an amazing show of agility. But when she turned around, Caitlyn delivered a superkick to her chin that dropped her where she stood. She dropped across her with a hook of the leg for a cover.

Zack: Absolutely uncanny agility by Angelina, but she turned around into a superkick! Caitlyn’s got the win right here!!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THRE-NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPE!!!

Angelina managed to pop her shoulder off the mat at the last second. As she started back to her feet, the sound of loud singing could be heard as members of Casey’s choir began to head down to ringside. They were singing and dancing in their choir robes as Angelina got up to look to see what was going on.

Mai: Oh good, I’m so glad to see the Choir here, Zack. They always bring joy and life wherever they go!

Zack: That makes one person then!

The choir began to dance around the ring repeatedly singing “She’s Got The Whole World In Her Hands” before Casey Atherton headed down the ramp. Meanwhile, Caitlyn was starting to get up as well, catching Angelina with a headbutt to the abdomen as she did. When she got to her feet, she scooped her up and dropped her with an Alabama slam. The singing and dancing continued as Casey praised her choir. One of them hopped up onto the apron to offer the referee an opportunity to join them. Caitlyn watched as well, with Angelina starting to rise behind her.

Mai: Isn’t that nice? I think they call that witnessing, Zack. The choir is trying to bring Melinda Davis into the fold. Moments like these are so beautiful. <sniff>

As Caitlyn went to get the choir member down, Casey rolled into the ring and spun Angelina around to deliver her falcon’s arrow. She quickly rolled out to the floor, unbeknownst to the referee and Caitlyn as the choir member dropped down with her. When she finally turned back, Angelina was starting to get up as Caitlyn shook her head and told her she shouldn’t before executing her snapmare neckbreaker and into a cover!

Zack: EYE OF THE STORM!!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

The referee called for the bell as the choir flooded into the ring, dancing and singing as the referee raised Caitlyn’s hand. Casey did the same thing, raising her hand and giving her a hug.

Zack: Can someone tell me what the hell is going on?!

Maggie: Here is your winner by pinfall……………….CAITLYN STORM!!!

Casey leaned through the ropes, letting the camera know that she was welcoming Caitlyn into her entourage. The only problem was Caitlyn didn’t seem to know it. One of the choir began to put the boots to Angelina as Casey kept Caitlyn’s attention, hugging the confused blonde again and sharing some Scripture with her.

Mai: I’m so proud of Caitlyn, Zack. Not only has she joined with Casey, but maybe there’s a weight loss program they can help her get into. This is what wrestling was meant to be!

Zack: I think Caitlyn may have missed the memo on her joining Casey’s flock!

Caitlyn looked really confused as choir members hugged her one by one while Breaking Point took a commercial break.




Champs In A Whirlwind

Breaking Point returns backstage, and there we find Carson Black standing between two women who happen to be holding the FFW Tornado Tag Team Championship in their hands. The agent couldn’t look more pleased.

Carson: For those of you who had the good decision making to have ordered Fury, you saw no shortage of history made in more ways than one. But tonight along with my client still to come tonight who became FFW Champion, these two women right here have risen to the top of the Tornado Tag mountain in an extremely short order. Having just returned at the end of the year, I am happy to introduce you to your new Tornado Tag Team Champions….Serafina DeCaro and Claire Black of KO/TO!

Serafina nodded her head in agreement with her manager, even as she blushed ever so slightly as Claire began to speak.

Claire: Yeah...we climbed to the top of this mountain pretty quickly thanks to a couple of good one on one performances against the Ascension and thanks to Carson working his magic to convince Seth to show faith in us; to give us the opportunity at Fury. And we plan to pay that back in spades. We’ve made history by becoming only the second team to have held both the Tornado and the Unity tag team Championships and we’re planning on doing everything that we can to have a very long reign with these belts.

Serafina: Thanks to everyone who believed in us and has supported us right from the very start. We’re very proud to be able to call ourselves… to be YOUR Tornado Tag Team Champions. We’ll do everything that we can to make these the most sought after and in demand tag team championships in FFW and all of wrestling. We’re happy to and we want to defend them against anyone and everyone… line them up and tell us the time and the place and we’ll give our opponents the match of their lives and all of our fans something to talk about.

Carson: I need not remind you both of the depth of FFW’s tag divisions. I have been made aware that both Valentina and Isis are likely to cash in their rematch clause. And there have also been rumblings that Next Generation are interested in trying to make history as  the first team to capture both the Tornado Tag titles and the Future Shock Tag titles.

Claire: Nope, we know that this company has one of the deepest and most talented tag team rosters of anywhere in the world. It’s pretty much been the case since the day the company opened and it’s only become more and more true as the ranks have swelled with the signing of the BSX, the emergence of the One Woman Show and the Brazilian Storm and the rise of the Ascension.

Serafina: And that’s before we even start to consider the incredible, amazing teams that have been competing in Future Shock of late. Like the BnB Wrecking Crew and, yes, the Next Generation. Both Mandy Gray and Caitlyn Storm have shown themselves to be amazing athletes and competitive wrestlers. When they get their opportunity to face us, we know that they’ll give us a run for our money and we will have to dig deep to find a way to beat them.

Claire: As for Ascension...sure, they can cash in their rematch clause if they want. It’s their right to do so and given they thought before Fury that Serafina and I were something of a spent force, I’d fully expect them to cash in. I fully expect them to want to try and become three time champions.

Carson: Try being the operative word. They can call themselves whatever they like, but the important message to keep in mind is that the result remains. I am extremely proud of both of these women for how far they came. They returned looking to build on a legacy they tried to start as Unity Champions years ago, and that process is well underway. Congratulations to you both, ladies.

Carson patted them both on the shoulder as we head to commercial.

Maggie: The following contest is scheduled for one fall to a finish.

“Start Me Up” by the Rolling Stones begins to play as Charlotte Harker comes out of the back and bounces on the balls of her feet, taking a moment or two to soak in the atmosphere of the crowd while talking a couple of deep breaths. Shaw joins her, applauding her partner and rallying the crowd behind her, getting only boos before Harker raised her hands in the air. They were joined by Kyle Kilmeade who stood at the back

Maggie: Please welcome, standing 6’2” and weighing 157 lbs, accompanied to the ring by Kyle Kilemeade and, her tag team partner, the “One Woman Show” Shaughnessy O’Neill….CHARLOTTE HARKER!!!

Finally she begins to head to the ring, peacock strutting Mick Jagger style all the way there. Climbing up the ring steps between the ropes, only to find Shaw already there. O’Neill drags her into the ring and holds her arm aloft, dragging her around the ring and telling the crowd that they’re looking at the winner...thanks to Shaw’s help. As the match gets ready to start, the referee tells O’Neill to leave the ring only to get into argument as Shaughnessy tells the official that they can’t tell a premier athlete like Shaw or Charlotte what to do. As the referee finally wins out, Shaw leaves the ring and takes her place on the floor in her partner’s corner as Harker stretches out and makes last minute preparations for the match.

Zack: With Shaw seemingly going after some singles gold, it’s no surprise that Charlotte has the same idea in mind. If she can beat Mallory tonight that could put her on the road towards the Ultraviolence Championship.

Mai: What do you mean if? I’m sure you meant to say when, Zack. Don’t worry, I fixed it for you.

“SEND ME TO MY GRAVE... SEND ME TO MY GRAVE...”

The sound of a car horn resounding through the arena echoes as a fairly sized custom truck begins to roll in next to the entrance ramp. The hood of the truck has a business name and phone number of a local garage and custom shop painted on for all to see. Driving the vehicle is none other than Mallory Bennett with a grin on her face. She puts the truck in park and shuts it off before stepping out to the cheers of the crowd. Mike O’Phee continues to rip through the sound system as Mallory bangs her head to the beat with Gillie Barnes in the passenger seat.

“SEND ME TO MY GRAVE! (BEFORE YOU...)
SEND ME TO MY GRAVE...
I BEEN UP, I BEEN DOWN,
I BEEN LOST, I BEEN AROUND!”


Maggie: Making her way to the ring from Tampa Bay, Florida and accompanied by Gillie Barnes... Weighing in tonight at 140 pounds... This is “MALICIOUS” MALLORY BENNETT!

Mal rolls into the ring and climbs a top turnbuckle before raising her arms to the fans with a determined smile on her face. She walks towards the opposite turnbuckle and does the same as her song fades out. She takes off her jacket and hands it to Gillie on the outside before punching the air, ready to fight.

Zack: Mallory is looking to put a major roadblock in Charlotte’s way tonight on her path towards the UV Championship.

Mai: She couldn’t manage a speed bump never mind a roadblock.

As Maggie makes her way out of the ring, referee Kevin Fisk checks both women for anything untoward. Happy that they have nothing he calls for the bell to get the match underway. They both make their way to the centre and as soon as they arrive there Mallory hits Charlotte with a quick jab to the jaw. A forearm smash follows, before she continues with a series of rapid jabs to Harker’s head. Charlotte raises her hands to cover herself, but Mallory just hits her with a knee to her abdomen instead, which bends the blonde forward slightly, allowing Mallory to hit her with a forearm across the back of her neck. Charlotte stands back upright and is immediately hit with a stiff right that rocks her back on her heels.

Zack: Mallory is not pulling any punches at all tonight, she has taken the fight straight to Charlotte and is not giving her a second to respond.

Mai: Charlotte is just biding her time and lulling Mallory into a false sense of security. Just you wait and see.

Mallory aims a second stiff right, but Charlotte narrowly manages to avoid it connecting. Mallory looks undeterred though and goes for another only to receive an uppercut from Charlotte that knocks her back a step. She quickly rights herself and dives at Charlotte, tackling her back to the ropes. With Charlotte backed up against the ropes, Mallory unloads with a series of lefts and rights to the blonde’s head, until Charlotte starts delivering knees to Mallory’s midsection.

Mai: See, I told you didn’t I?!

Zack: It hasn’t done her much good though, Charlotte managed to stop Mallory unloading on her… only to have her start all over again. And they’re deciding into a plain and simple brawl right now.

As the two indeed descend into an out and out brawl, Fisk orders them to break but neither pay him any attention, as they continue to lay shot after shot into each other’s bodies and heads. As Fisk reaches a count of four the two seperate, both breathing heavily. Mallory backs off a couple of steps as ordered by the referee to allow Charlotte to pull herself away from the ropes. As soon as she is clear, Mallory goes straight for her again, this time using a hip toss to put her on the canvas. Harker pops straight back up to her feet and as soon as she does, Mallory spins her around and locks her arm around her waist.

Zack: Well that break didn’t last very long, only long enough for the two to move position slightly and go straight back at it again. It looks like Mallory is in primed position for a German Suplex though.

The Florida native attempts to lift Charlotte up, but the blonde starts to fire elbows back in quick succession one after another until she forces Mallory to release her grip. She spins on a dime and rocks the skunk haired wrestler back with a kick to her gut. Mallory plants her feet to try and steady herself but a second kick follows from Charlotte which rocks her back another step. Changing it up, Charlotte hits her with a knee to her mid section which bends her double and allows Charlotte to lift her up into position, before sending her to the canvas with a thud.

Mai: I knew that Mallory wouldn’t be able to pull off that German Suplex, Charlotte could see it coming and is way too good to be caught by it.

Zack: Yeah… sure. But either way that was an impactful Snap Suplex from Charlotte and you can see it’s taken a bit out of both women.

It takes both women a moment before they start to rise, but it’s Mallory who gets back to her feet first. Straight away she grabs Charlotte by the head and starts to pull her up the rest of the way. As soon as Charlotte is most of the way to her feet she surprises Mallory when she clocks her with an uppercut that puts her back on her butt on the canvas. This time Charlotte pulls Mallory roughly to her feet and fires her across into the ropes. The skunk haired wrestler rebounds and ducks under the clothesline that Charlotte has waiting for her. Continuing onto the opposite ropes, she bounces off them and comes back towards Harker…. Only to be met with a running big boot to the face that puts her straight down. Charlotte goes straight for a cover as Fisk slides into position for the count.

Zack: Somewhat surprisingly given how this match started, it is Charlotte with the first pinfall attempt of this match. I think it might be too soon to keep Mallory down for three but stranger things have happened.

ONE!!!

T-NOPE!!!

Mallory gets her shoulder up just after the one and Charlotte rolls away back to her knees.

Mai: I was all set to go and get another drink, but no, Mallory had to be selfish and keep this match going longer didn’t she?!

Charlotte powers back up to her feet as Mallory rolls onto her front and then up to all fours, before starting to push up to her knees. Harker takes off for the ropes and bounces off them to come back just as Mallory gets to her feet, aiming another big boot to her face. Spotting her at the last second, Mallory dives to the side and unable to stop her momentum Charlotte crashes to the canvas. The Cleveland crowd clearly like this as they get louder with cheers aimed towards Mallory. The Florida native is first back to her feet this time and encourages Charlotte to get back up to hers, which she does, giving her knee a rub from her awkward landing as she does.

Mai: Mallory should have just stayed still and taken that boot like a woman!

Zack: Because I’m sure you’d stay still if you saw a boot coming straight for your face, wouldn’t you?

Spotting Charlotte favouring her knee, Mallory charges and hits her with a stiff kick to the back of it, which gets a yell of pain from Charlotte. A second kick to the same spot follows which brings her down to her opposite knee. The pain is clear on the blonde’s face as she moves to get back up to a vertical base. Before she can fully, Mallory charges her and gets her clean in the face with a bicycle knee that plants her back on the canvas. Mallory makes a mad dash to the ropes and scales to the top, then launches herself off with a diving leg drop across Charlotte’s chest. Fisk drops back into position as Mallory goes for a cover.

Zack: MALICIOUS INTENT followed by a vicious leg drop but has she done enough to take this match?

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOO-NO!!!

Charlotte pushes Mallory off of her breaking the cover and rolls away towards the ropes, using them to steady herself as she pulls herself up to her feet, leaving Mallory sat looking a little frustrated on the canvas.

Mai: Don’t be stupid, of course she hasn’t done enough. It will take more than that to keep Charlotte down.

Charlotte uses the time to rub her knee and give her leg a shake. Tentatively she puts her foot on the canvas, putting some weight on her knee, and smiling a little when she is able to stand without too much pain. She gives her leg a final shake, just as Mallory is getting back to her feet. The Florida native charges straight at her looking to connect a cactus clothesline, but Charlotte sidesteps and pulls the top rope down as she does, leaving Mallory to sail straight over the top. She hits the side of the apron hard before bouncing off to the floor. Fisk starts a ten count as Gillie goes to check that Mallory is alright.

Mai: That serves her right for trying to knock Charlotte out of the ring! I was going to say she’ll know better next time, but she’s probably inhaled too much engine oil to learn from it.

Zack: I don’t think that was quite how Mallory envisaged that going, but she needs to get herself back in the ring quickly otherwise she’s at risk of handing Charlotte a countout victory.

Mallory tells Gillie she’s fine and pulls herself up to a seated position to gather herself a bit, as Fisk reaches a count of three. Taking a deep breath, Mallory pulls herself fully and dives back into the ring, before Fisk can get past four. She gets back to her feet in the ring, and as soon as she does Charlotte grabs her by the wrist and whips her across into the corner. The blonde follows her in with a shoulder thrust to her chest which visibly winds the Florida native.

Zack: Mallory managed to save herself from the referee’s count but she had a whole other set of problems waiting for her, namely that Irish whip from Charlotte.

Grabbing hold of Mallory’s head, Harker makes her way to the top turnbuckle, completely ignoring the boos from the crowd as she does. Mallory tries to struggle free but Charlotte keeps her grip and cracks her in the side of the head with her free hand. Not wanting to risk letting her escape the hold, Charlotte wastes no time in performing the Tornado DDT to plant the skunk haired wrestler on the canvas. Rather than go straight for the cover, the blonde gets back to her feet and takes off to the ropes, using them for a springboard before landing a moonsault across Mallory’s body, and then staying in position and hooking one of Mallory’s legs for the cover.

Zack: Charlotte’s combination there has Mallory down and this could be it, I think she might just have done enough.

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THR-NOPE!!!

Mai: No! Don’t stop counting stupid. Do you need an abacus or a calculator? It’s not that hard to count to three is it?!

Fisk stops the count as he spots Mallory has managed to get her foot across the bottom rope. Charlotte looks confused at the count stopping until the referee points it out to her and she rolls away and back to her feet in frustration.

Zack: A great ring awareness from Mallory saved herself from the three count, but you can see how much has been taken out of her.

Getting tired of waiting for Mallory to get back to her feet, Charlotte moves over and starts pulling the skunk haired wrestler back up to her feet… at least until Mallory starts to unload with rights and lefts furiously. Charlotte covers her head and backs away, and Mallory gets back to her feet under her own steam, much to the joy of the crowd who cheer her on. As soon as she is upright she charges at Charlotte and clothesline the blonde into the corner, hitting her with a throat thrust as soon as the blonde’s back hits the turnbuckle. Charlotte automatically raises her hands to her throat, leaving her head exposed. Mallory throws another jab towards her head, but Charlotte spots it and ducks, leaving Mallory to punch the top turnbuckle.

Zack: Mallory is going to need to put some ice on that hand, she’ll be lucky if she hasn’t broken something with that impact.

Mai: Never mind her hand, Charlotte’s poor throat, she should get a timeout to gather herself and catch her breath after that. And Mallory should be disqualified.

Zack: You really should learn what gets you disqualified and what doesn’t.
Mallory gives her hand a shake and flexes her fingers, as Charlotte rubs her throat and sucks in some quick breaths. Charlotte ducks to the side to bring herself out of the corner, to stop herself getting pinned there by Mallory. Mallory drops down into a three point stance and watches as Charlotte pulls herself together, as the blonde turns back around towards her, Mallory explodes up and launches herself to use a clothesline to flatten Charlotte to the canvas. Mallory gets back up and heads towards the ropes, she starts to climb, but looks behind and sees Charlotte getting up, so she abandons that idea and instead goes back to the blonde. Mallory pulls Charlotte up to her feet, and scoops her up for a spinebuster.

Zack: A quick change of mind there for Mallory. I don’t know what she was planning, but whatever it was probably wouldn’t have gone very well with Charlotte already starting to get up.

The skunk haired wrestler heads for the ropes again, checking again and happy this time that Charlotte is still down, Mallory heads to the top rope. With the crowd cheering her on, and a final check on Charlotte she launches herself off into a frog splash double knee drop. The Cleveland crowd get even louder and come to their feet as Mallory goes for the cover and Fisk drops into position.

Zack: MUY MAL! And this could be all she wrote.

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Charlotte gets her shoulder up just a fraction of a second too late as Fisk has already counted the three and is getting back to his feet to call for the bell.

Maggie:  Here is your winner via pinfall…....’MALICIOUS’ MALLORY BENNETT!!

Mai: I demand a recount! And a slower one at that, he obviously fast counted that. That’s the only explanation.

Zack: Except he didn’t. Charlotte was so close to kicking out though, just a fraction of a second in it.

Gillie rolls straight into the ring and raises one of Mallory’s hands while Fisk raises the other. Charlotte sits up against the ropes looking none too pleased that she wasn’t quite quick enough, as Shaw and Kyle talk to her through the ropes . Gillie and Mallory make their way out of the ring and back up the ramp as the camera cuts elsewhere.






Erica in the Fast Lane

A quick recap from the Fast Track Championship match at Fury shows the crowning of a 2 time champion when Scarlett Silver wins the title with the help of the ring ropes. The show goes back live to find Robby Reynolds with a very familiar blonde.

Robby: You just saw there on the clip how Scarlett Silver became a two time Fast Track Champion, the first in FFW history at that. I’m here with the woman who will be her next challenger, Erica Horton. Thanks for joining me.

Erica: Thank you for having me, Robby. You know, watching that match back, it really, properly sinks in just how much of a hard night I’m in for when I face Scarlett for that belt. I knew it was going to be a hard night anyway, but still. Not that I mind.

Robby: The last time you two met, she handcuffed you to one of the beams underneath the ring and won by countout...not to mention throwing foundation in your face. I think that shows you, if nothing else, the lengths she’ll go to win...much less retain the title now she has it again.

Erica scowls.

Erica: Yep, thank you for that reminder! Not that I needed it. But that said, it’s not like I was never aware before of what lengths she would go to in order to win a match, she’s been doing it as long as she’s been here. She’s like many who came before her, feeling needs like that. The only difference is that it’s been quite some time since I’ve seen anyone who takes the whole “I’m better looking than you” thing to the extremes that Scarlett does.

Robby: We’ve seen her let go of holds and stop matches to check her makeup and fix her hair. In that title defense, she even tried to fix her manager’s hair for him. Would you agree with many who say lack of focus is Scarlett’s biggest weakness?

Erica: I could...but she won. So to suggest that her lack of focus works against her makes sense but no sense at the same time for that very reason. I would argue more that it’s actually just insulting to the match, the opponent and the company that you think so little of anything that you have to do things like that. And I don’t mean the kind of insult you get from people where they just tear verbal strips from you. It’s more a metaphorical spit in the face.

Robby: The other thing I wanted to talk with you about was arguably one of the biggest stories from Fury. As a roster member of both FFW and SVW, how do you feel about what happened in San Jose with some of SVW’s most unsavory talents invading?

Erica: With a roster so big that it needed to be split in two, I’m not sure three people is “some”, but not important. I honestly want no part of the whole thing. I’ve been involved with FFW in some capacity since it opened, most of that on the desk, admittedly. Samantha Star has always been quite good to me in that regard. I’ve enjoyed my time in SVW in both its incarnations, and I’m grateful to its various General Managers and owners for what they gave me. I like working for both and I want to keep it that way. Sunny and Kaylee feeling the need to be the centre of attention isn’t shocking to anyone, and certainly shouldn’t be. If I’m going to pick anything to be upset about, it’s the fact that Kaylee went after Zack. My sister covered that quite well in her piece before the show went on air, however. But not only that, Zack and I are very close with each other, largely owing to how much time I spent on the desk with him after my husband gave it up. So watching that happen was...quite the bit to make your blood boil.

Robby: Finally, we started tonight as you know with the COO going to the ring to offer a plan he put together with former COO Cody Kincaid on how to resolve this before it grew any bigger. But then we also saw armed police officers take him into custody on order of the owner of FFW. Do you think that is going to help this situation or exacerbate it?

Erica: ...I’m not sure how having Seth arrested is going to help anything. But, with that in mind...Cody is still there, and willing to help. So it’s not going to help much, but if she’s willing to listen to Cody, then there’s hope yet. But this is wrestling, and it never works quite the way you want it to, does it?

Robby: I did have an interview tonight scheduled with Savannah Taylor. But I’ve been informed she left the arena moments after Seth was taken to the local precinct here in Cleveland. What do you make of that? It seems like she’s finding herself in the middle here.

Erica: Let’s just say I’m glad I’m not her. Mark had had his issues with management in the past, mostly in SVW, but while I say that, I also say it to illustrate the fact that I’ve never had a close relationship with anyone that high above me. I sympathise, because it’s undoubtedly a difficult situation. I’m just really glad it’s not me.

Robby: That makes sense. Thanks for taking the time to speak with me tonight, Erica.

On that, Breaking Point heads to commercial.

Maggie: The following match is scheduled for one fall to a finish!!!

Zack: If you’re Missy, Fury didn’t quite go according to plan against the Evolution Champion. But Seth Star has elected to give her a second chance to stay at the top of the heap in the division tonight. I’m joined by her ally in Chaotic Temptation, the Ultraviolence Champion Emma MacNamara.

Emma: Seth Star giveth generously in this case. This match is going to be explosive, and it’s one I’ve been looking forward to since it was announced.

The mad guitar of Trivium’s “To The Rats” assaults the PA, as glitched images of the open roads are shown in the big screen. When the drums kick in, a single volley of red fireworks shoot up from the stage, and the sound of a roaring engine can be heard as well. On her motorcycle, Alysson shows atop the entrance ramp wearing a full biker gear, holding her crowbar on one hand, forcing the engine so to make a loud roar noise, as if it could drown out the crowd’s boos. After that, she jumps off the bike and removes her helmet with her free hand, looking over the crowd and shaking her head, and smashing the crowbar into the ground a couple of times before opening her arms wide and letting out a loud war cry.

Maggie: Introducing first, from the Open Road... "The Outlaw" -- ALYSSON GARDNER!

After that, the Big Red walks down to the ring, removing her biker jacket and leaving it in the way along with her crowbar, before she rolls into the ring under the top rope. She then kipups back to her feet and starts showing off for the crowd, climbing the nearest turnbuckle, throwing more cross-arm horns and smirking at the booing crowd. Alysson then jumps down and takes shelter on her corner, eyeing her opposition directly in the eyes.

Zack: Unlike her opponent, Alysson had a great time at Fury in her No DQ showdown with Ruby Tyler. The pair tied the series between them, and I’ve been informed we’ll have the rubber match right here on the next Breaking Point.

Emma: After what Alysson put Ruby through two weeks ago, I’m not sure she should really want that match, to be honest. There’s not many who can weather that storm..and trust me, I’ve done it. That’s not easy. But it has set her in good stead for her inevitable encounter with Steph.

The lights in the arena go off before a single purple spotlight hits the stage. As the opening bars of Wild Side by Cross My Heart Hope To Die starts to play Missy appears at the entrance way. Missy stands perfectly still, as her head stays bent, looking towards the ground and her manager Christian Kincaid walks out to stand behind her.

At the side of Missy purple lights flash on and off, looking almost like fireworks, causing a wave of oohs and cheers to escape from the crowd. As the lights subside, Missy raises her arms up to the air and a single white spotlight accompanies the move.

I just wanna dance with the devil tonight
I wanna know what it feels like
I wanna close my eyes, put my hands in the sky
I wanna walk on the wild side


Maggie: Introducing at this time…. Hailing from Leeds, England and weighing in at One hundred and twelve pounds… she is MIIIIISSSSSY!

Missy makes her way down the ramp to the ring keeping her eyes straight ahead, focussing on the ring, with Christian following a few steps behind. When she reaches the ring she slowly climbs the steel steps, building the crowd to fever pitch with anticipation, she climbs elegantly between the bottom and middle rope and climbs up onto the middle rope. She smirks before blowing a kiss out to the crowd as her theme music ends.

Zack: It wasn’t bad enough she came up a hair short at Fury, but she got jumped coming through the curtain too. I suspect Missy has a lot of aggression she’s looking to burn off here.

Emma: A lesser person would say that you could use what happened with Rhea as an excuse, but anyone who actually knows Missy and saw that match knows that it’s far from the real case. But for now, she’s got some steam to build up again and make sure that she stays right where she is, because she deserves it a hell of a lot more than Alysson does.

Malcolm Parks finishes checking the pair for any hidden objects and calls for the bell, Alysson moving to the middle of the ring with a swagger as it sounds, trash talking Missy, who was circling her, before she invites the Leeds born wrestler to take her best shot. Missy stared at her for a moment as Alysson repeated the invitation, putting both her hands behind her back as she did so. The Englishwoman balled up a fist and feinted throwing a haymaker towards her opponent only to turn it into a raised knee into her gut. Gardner cradled her midsection, allowing Missy to hook her head and drop to her knees executing a jawbreaker.

Zack: You tell me, Emma. Given this is a standard match, who do you think has the advantage? Obviously if this were in your ballpark with no rules, I’d give the edge to Alysson. But do you think under normal rules that Missy should have an advantage?

Emma: Given that both women love their weapons and their violence almost as much as I do, it’s actually probably a fairer argument to say that it’s an even playing ground. But with that said, when you look at the percentages between the two in recent times, I would give it to Missy.

Gardner stumbled backwards holding her jaw allowing her opponent to send her flying across the ring with a headscissors takedown. The Outlaw rose quickly back to her feet only to be sent reeling backwards into the ring ropes thanks to a leaping knee strike from Missy who immediately followed that up with a backflip kick that saw the English woman land on one knee. Popping back up to her feet the Leeds native jerked her opponent forward off the ropes and wrapped her arms around her middle, sending her flying with a belly to belly slam. Missy didn’t waste any time in floating over into the cover.

Emma: I get what Missy was going for there, but that was still far too early to even think about a cover.

Alysson kicked out as the referee brought their hand down and made the one count, pushing her foe away from her. Missy came back to her feet as Gardner also got to a vertical base and was caught by a dropkick. Alysson scrambled back to her feet and was again sent to the canvas with a japanese armdrag that Missy held onto, turning the takedown into an armbar. Gardner shook her head and began to rise to her feet, jawing at Missy once more. As they got to a vertical base, the Outlaw forced her hand against her opponents jaw and pushed back into the ring ropes. The referee called for the break, Missy keeping the armbar applied as long as possible before she released the hold, raising her hands in the air… that saw her receive a quick left, right combination into her abs.

Zack: Look at Missy go, she’s reminding me of one half of the Tornado Tag Champions with those body shot combinations. Alysson’s gonna find out how well toned her body is.

Emma: Not that her tonage is the important. Still, that was quite the lot to come out of Missy there, and could have been far worse than it was.

Parks told Gardner to let Missy out of the ropes and saw the smaller woman Irish whipped across the ring. As the Leeds born grappler returned, she hopped over Gardner as the Outlaw dropped to the mat and stopped on a dime, turning as Alysson began to rise and immediately peppered her with a series of kicks to her body and chest. As the number one contender to the Evolution Championship made it to a vertical base, Missy unleashed the stiffest of kicks to the side of her knee then took her back down to the canvas with a spinning neckbreaker. The English woman didn’t give her a chance to recover, pulling her up to her feet and snapped off a German suplex that she bridged for a pin.

Zack: Nice German suplex there from your fellow Chaotic Temptation-ite, but going for a win this early against Alysson seems like a waste of energy, given how much resiliency you have to have to compete in Ultraviolence matches like Alysson does.

Emma: It just seems like one of those things and you sit there like “why are you going for this so early, you know it’s not the right time”.

Alysson kicked out on the one and a half count, forcing Missy to roll away and onto her knees. As the woman from the Open Road sat up, Missy applied a rear chinlock to her foe, pressing her knee into the top of the Outlaw’s spine as she used her interlocking fingers over her chin to pull her head backwards. Gardner slowly began to push upwards, forcing her way back to her feet only for Missy to transition from a rear chinlock into a Dragon Sleeper. As the English woman locked in the submission hold, her opponent waved her free arm in the air, finding her foe’s head and delivered a slap to the side of her face before she followed it up with a palm strike that connected. Missy loosened the hold as a second palm strike connected from Gardner, that saw the English woman release and step away. Alysson straightened up and delivered a clothesline to her opponent, knocking her down to the canvas.

Emma: Good attempt with the chinlock there, but as has been pointed out, Alysson has the resiliency from her enjoyment of Ultraviolence. That includes an ability to do a lot of things that you probably shouldn’t be doing.

Missy quickly scurried to her feet and straight into a bellclap from Gardner that she followed up with a spinning roundhouse kick that caught the smaller wrestler to the side of her head. Missy stumbled slightly from the blow and Alysson scooped her off her feet, body slamming her down into the canvas. The Leeds native started to sit up as Gardner bounced off the ropes and came back with a leg drop across her opponent’s chest driving her back into the canvas. The Outlaw rolled away and came to her feet, pulling Missy up with her, talking to her all the time, and sent her barreling into the corner, following her in close behind with a corner clothesline. Immediately Gardner grabbed hold of her wrist, Irish whipping her across to the opposite corner, letting her hit the turnbuckles back first before she took off in a sprint towards her, leaving her feet and delivering a shotgun dropkick into her chest.

Zack: Alysson is deceptively quick in the ring, and she has serious power behind those shots. And if you don’t believe me, you can ask Missy what it felt like catching both feet at point blank range to the chest.

Emma: I can confirm through experience what those shots feel like too!

The English woman held her chest with a grimace of pain on her face as her foe got to her feet in front of her, jumping onto the bottom rope to springboard into an enzugiri. Missy staggered away towards the middle of the ring; Alysson taking off past her, hitting the ropes and leaving her feet as she rebounded to deliver a leaping DDT to Missy. Gardner quickly rolled her onto her back and made the cover, pushing her forearm up underneath Missy’s jaw as she did so.

Emma: You ever watch something and all you can think is “why there”? Because like with Missy before her, that’s what I just did with Alysson and that cover. Missy’s still got plenty in the tank and it’s showing here.

Missy kicked out of the hold and immediately sat up, with a look of slight anger as a hand went to her throat for a moment as she sat up only for Alysson to grab hold of her wrist from behind her and locked in a Cobra Clutch. She used the sleeper hold to jerk Missy to her feet where she used her height and weight advantage to lift her off her feet and slam her down into the canvas. Missy quickly sat up and for her troubles Gardner delivered three stiff soccer style kicks into her spine - the first one freezing the English woman in place turning her face into a mask of agony, the second following in quick succession before the third saw her roll and quickly try to get her feet underneath her. As she did so, the Outlaw darted towards the ropes, using them to propel her into a springboard leg lariat that once more caused the Leed native to crash into the canvas.

Zack: Getting a clothesline hurts enough with someone’s arm, but those leg lariats are like someone taking a bowling pin to your chest! Missy dropped like a rock, and who could blame her!

Emma: Sometimes, dropping and getting out is just what needs to happen! It was the case here, and if you’re gonna fault her for that, then hell mend ya.

The English woman tried to roll away and get back to her feet but as she did so, Alysson grabbed her arm from behind, set her up and with side Russian leg sweep took her down to the canvas once more. Gardner rolled backwards to her feet as Missy rolled to all fours and the one time Rockstar jerked her upwards, hooking her head and dropped her into the mat with a DDT. Once more the woman from the Open Road rolled to the side and came to her feet, hitting the ropes and came back with a running backsplash that saw her land across Missy’s chest. Leaning backwards, she hooked one leg as she made the cover.

Zack: Missy still has too much left in the tank right now, and that senton didn’t do enough to make it a three count yet.

Missy rolled her shoulder to stop the count just after Parks had completed the two count and found herself pulled up to her feet. A raised knee buried into her stomach, followed by a second and then a third. Missy leaned forward, holding her abdomen where the knees had connected before Alysson hooked her head, getting her in position for a suplex yet as soon as she lifted Missy up the Leeds native countered, shifting her weight to land on her feet behind Gardner. Instantly she wrapped her arms around the middle of the larger wrestler and rushed her forward, sending her chest first into the ropes before rolling her up into a school girl pinning attempt.

Emma: That’s about as close as we’ve gotten so far tonight and it wasn’t even because Alysson was done! Surprise is important!

In the nick of time, the Outlaw managed to kick out of the pinning combination, sending the English born grappler sprawling towards the ring ropes. Missy grabbed hold of the ring ropes and looked over her shoulder as Alysson started to rise before she leapt onto the middle rope and hurled herself backwards, connecting with a back elbow to her jaw. Gardner staggered, allowing her opponent to spin around, catching her on the jaw once more with a spinning backhand that was followed by a European uppercut. The Outlaw reeled two steps and as she did so, the Leeds native fired out her foot with a crescent kick that again caught the Outlaw on the point of the jaw. The taller woman turned away, holding her jaw and as she did so, Missy left her feet, took hold of her head and delivered a sitout reverse facebuster that bounced her opponents head into the mat. Missy quickly rolled on top of her and reached down to hook the leg.

Zack: What a facebuster of the reversed variety! Alysson’s skull bounced off the canvas, and that may be what Missy needs to do more of to take Gardner out!

Emma: Enough force like that and that’s what it’s gonna do to you! I don’t envy Alysson’s head right now!

Alysson kicked out once more; Missy didn’t bother to wait for the referee to confirm the two count to her as she headed towards the corner, stepping out onto the apron and climbing to the top rope. Missy perched there, watching as her opponent was trying to get to her feet before she launched herself into a spinning headscissors takedown. The red haired woman was flung into the corner by the move and started to pull herself by the ring ropes only for Missy to charge in towards her, catching her perfectly with a yakuza kick to her chest. The Englishwoman rolled backwards to her feet as Alysson seemed to almost smile from the blow and Missy launched herself into a double knee strike into her chest. Again the Englishwoman landed on her feet only for her to send Alysson out of the corner with a monkey flip. The Outlaw landed on the mat and using the momentum to roll to her feet, facing Missy only for the young woman to charge forward and catch her with a running big boot to her face. Gardner collapsed to the canvas and Missy continued to move towards the corner, quickly scaling the ropes and coming off with a moonsault from the top turnbuckle, landing it perfectly. Alysson held her stomach for a moment as Missy hooked her leg once more for the pinfall.

Zack: Shades of her manager right there with a picture perfect moonsault! Missy’s going for it all!

Emma: Beautifully done, could have been it but Alysson is not into that idea right now! Not that you can blame her!

Gardner kicked out of the pinfall and rolled onto her front, pushing upwards to all fours as she did so which got her a kick to the ribs from her foe that saw Alysson kneel upwards. Missy delivered a second and third kick to Alysson’s back as she waved her upwards. Gardner forced herself to one knee, getting Missy’s arm wrapped around her head as she did so; the Future Shock graduate using her grip to pull her towards the ring ropes. As she got close to them, the English woman stepped up onto the middle rope and pushed off, looking to execute a tornado DDT but before she could complete the move, Gardner shoved her away. Missy landed on her feet, found her balance, spun and immediately dropped into a drop toe hold that bounced the onrushing Outlaw face first into the canvas. A moment later and Missy had transitioned from the take down into an STF submission hold, pulling back on her head.

Zack: Nice transition right there. But I think you would have an easier type pinning Alysson than you are getting her to quit. It all goes back to the kind of matches she loves, and having that resiliency we’ve mentioned.

Emma: If she’s dazed Alysson enough with the way she hit her face, it might not matter for much. It’s amazing how much something so simple impacts on everything. I doubt it’s enough, but hey, worth a shot, right?

Parks slid into position, asking Gardner if she wanted to quit and got a definite ‘No’. Missy pulled back further on her head in the submission hold, putting the maximum amount of pressure that she could on the Outlaw’s back but still she refused to submit to the official’s repeated checks. Instead the larger woman used her strength to pull them across the ring until she was able to grab hold of the bottom rope. The official asked for the break before he began his five count - Missy milking it for all it was worth before she released her opponent and rolled away to the side. The English wrestler was quickly back to her feet and she darted towards her opponent as Alysson made it to one knee allowing Missy to catch her with a shining wizard that sent her crashing down to the canvas. She dove on top of the Outlaw to make the cover, hooking the leg for extra leverage.

Zack: Devastating impact once again to the back of Alysson’s head! Gardner could be out cold!

Emma: Almost, but not quite! Missy must be kicking herself about this right about now!

Alysson rolled her shoulder at the last moment, stopping the count and causing Malcolm Parks to show the two count to Missy who shook her head as she came back to her feet, retreating to the opposite side of the ring as she did so. She waited and measured up her opponent as Alysson rolled away from the ropes, onto her front, catching her breath for a moment before she slowly started to push upwards onto all fours. When Gardner came to her hands and knees, Missy darted across the ring and left her feet looking for the Mischief Maker curb stomp only for Gardner to have telegraphed it as she pushed backwards to avoid the blow before she hurled herself forward as Missy landed, driving her shoulder into the back of the smaller woman’s knee with a chop block that sent her hard to the canvas.

Emma: That was some fantastic awareness coming from Alysson there, and it’s ended quite badly for Missy unfortunately. That chop block looked quite stiff!

Alysson pulled herself up to her feet with the aid of the ring ropes as Missy also rose only for Gardner to catch her with a mule kick into the gut that she followed up with a vicious slingblade clothesline that bounced the back of Missy’s head off the canvas. The Leeds born woman held the back of her head as she rolled to the side only for Gardner to pull her back up to her feet, lifting her up onto her shoulders before she slammed her down with a Samoan drop. Gardner sat up as she delivered the move, breathing deeply and taking a couple of moments before she started to her feet. She got to a vertical base as Missy was on all fours and the Outlaw began to trash talk her once more as she stooped down, slapping the back of her head before she pulled her up by the hair and lifted her onto her shoulder once more. Gardner built up a head of steam as she carried her opponent on her shoulder towards the corner where she dropped her with a snake eyes into the top turnbuckle pad.

Zack: For those of you watching at home, don’t make the mistake of thinking those turnbuckles are big pillows. When you get your head slammed into them like that, it does plenty of damage.

Emma: Mate, I wish those things were “big pillows”. I’d have fewer headaches after matches! It doesn’t help that they’re to protect from the metal holding the ropes together. In any case, it works really well for Alysson right now; she’s bigger and that helps in more ways than one.

Missy landed on her feet and stumbled out of the corner, turning around as she did so only to find herself on the receiving end of an enzugiri that saw her fall backwards onto her ass in the corner. Quickly Alysson skipped back to the middle of the ring before she burst forward, leaving her feet and delivered a bronco buster that saw her bounce up and down repeatedly on Missy’s chest. Gardner rolled back, holding a hand in the air and getting a chorus of boos from the crowd. The Outlaw moved straight back on the attack, pulling Missy out of the corner, continuing to talk to her as she dragged her to the middle of the ring and lifted her upwards into the Red Tide - a backbreaker followed by a rolling Argentine rack slam - executing the move perfectly she smiled as she made the cover, hooking the leg as she did so.

Zack: RED TIDE!! Missy’s Evolution hopes may be dead and buried right now!

Emma: But not quite!

Missy kicked out before the three count could be made and Gardner glared at Malcolm Parks; the official showing her the two count that got him a verbal volley from the girl before she went back to talking down to her opponent. Alysson pushed upwards and circled around the English woman, almost demanding that she gets to her feet and as the brunette began to rise, Alysson quickly started to head towards the corner quickly climbing up to the top rope and as Missy got to her feet she launched herself off towards her with a scream as she snapped off the Tornado Scream hurricanrana. As she landed the move she stayed sat upon her foe’s chest, reaching back to hook her legs as she went for the victory.

Emma: ...I would love to know where Missy found it in herself to get out of that one! O complaints here though!

Zack: How badly does Missy want another shot at Steph Stefano? You’re getting that answer tonight.

Missy rolled her shoulder before the three count could be completed and again Gardner glared at the referee as she sat up and was shown the two count by the referee. The Outlaw pulled her opponent upwards as she two rose to her feet only to build up a head of steam and hurl her through the ropes to the outside on the opposite side of the ring to CK. Missy landed on hard on the floor but started to push herself upwards as Alysson ignored the referee and stepped out onto the apron, leaping off into a double axe handle smash to the top of Missy’s head that sent her straight down to one knee. Gardner took a handful of hair, yanking Missy back upright and slammed her face first into the apron as the referee continued his count on the two women. Again Gardner slammed Missy face first into the ring apron before jerking her backwards, sending her stumbling back towards the crowd barrier; Alysson lowering her shoulder, delivering a shoulder thrust into her middle that drove her backwards into the barricade. Christian rounded the ring only for Gardner to spot him and yell at him to keep his distance; the manager holding up his hands as he stopped at the corner.

Zack: I’ve never seen Christian interfere in Missy’s matches, but Gardner’s warning him regardless!

Emma: I find it very unlikely that he would have gotten involved; she’s made it very clear to him in the past not to, under any circumstances. But I can see Alysson’s point...not everything in the heat of the moment makes sense.

Satisfied, Alysson delivered a second and third shoulder thrust followed before she jerked her opponent away with another handful of hair and this time she used all of her strength advantage to whip Missy into the steel ring post, watching her hit skull first and drop to her knees before she rolled back into the ring under the bottom rope to break the referee’s count. CK moved quickly to check on his client, helping her back to her feet where Missy was obviously woozy as she stumbled for a couple of moments and caught herself on the barrier, breathing deeply. She checked her forehead and found no blood, telling Christian she was fine and gently pushed him away as she stepped towards the ring before sidestepping smartly out of the way as Gardner came flying over the top rope towards her and crashed chest first into the crowd barrier.

Zack: You can see the concern on CK’s face as Missy is getting pummeled! She may be fine, but for God’s sake...again she gets driven back and this time into the barricade!

Emma:  She wanted Alysson to come at her with all cylinders, and that’s sure as Hell what she’s getting right now!

Alysson quickly pushed away from the barricade, holding her ribcage and suddenly found herself jerked forward as her chest was driven into the ring apron. Again Gardner held her ribcage as Missy slid into the ring and came quickly to her feet, sprinting across the ring and coming back into a baseball slide that drove her feet into her opponent’s chest. The Leeds native slid the rest of the way to the outside but only to slide Gardner back into the ring underneath the bottom rope. Missy followed the Outlaw into the ring and came to her feet, immediately dropping back to the ring ropes and bouncing off them into the Mischief Maker curbstomp that drove her foe face first into the canvas. Gardner rolled to her back and Missy dropped on top of her, hooking the leg as she made the cover for the pinfall.

Emma: So close, and yet so far! Missy came out of nowhere for that and it’s maddening for it not have been enough!

At the very last moment, Gardner’s shoulder popped up from the canvas and Missy looked at the referee almost in disbelief at the two count he was holding up in front of her face. Parks confirmed the count once more to the Leeds native who finally nodded her head as she pushed up to her feet and once more headed towards the ring ropes, bouncing off them as the Outlaw had rolled onto her front and this time when Missy left her feet she came down on Alysson’s back with a double footed mushroom stomp. Gardner started to push upwards; Missy watching and measuring her up as she waited until she got to her knees before she charged towards her and caught her with a knee trembler that sent her onto the back on the mat.

Zack: Missy is starting to build a rally here after taking a tremendous sum of punishment. You’d think the title shot was tonight for either one of them!

Emma: It might as well be! It’s another chance to get the belt if Missy wins, and for Alysson, keep that momentum going as she runs towards Steph!

Quickly Missy headed towards the corner, eyeing her fallen opponent before she squatted down, fingers touching the mat with her elbows between her legs before she sprung upwards. Stepping out onto the apron she climbed to the top rope, holding her back for a moment before she could come flying off with the Lil Miss Mischief frog splash, Gardner had managed to scramble to her knees and hurled herself towards the ropes, landing across the top rope. Missy lost her footing on the top rope and came crashing down onto hard on the turnbuckle arm, her eyes going wide in pain.

Emma: I’m not quite sure that impression covers the pain she’s feeling right now! That was so damn close to perfect!

Using the ropes for support the Outlaw climbed upwards, driving right hands into the side of Missy’s jaw as she did so. As Gardner got to the top rope, she took two handfuls of her opponent’s hair, driving a knee upwards into her jaw, causing Missy to reel backwards while her hair was still firmly grabbed by Gardner. With the English woman dazed Gardner leapt onto her shoulders and brought her off the top rope with the G-Spot frankensteiner facebuster. As they landed on the mat, Gardner sat there for a moment, holding her chest before she started to move, rolling her opponent onto her back and made the cover, hooking her leg. Parks slid into position to make the count and on his blindside, Gardner kicked her feet up onto the middle rope for a little extra insurance.

Zack: G-SPOT!! I don’t think she’s going to get up from this!

Emma: And she did not! And Alysson knows she had to work for that one!

CK rounded the ring and tried to get the referee’s attention only for Parks to make the three count before he looked over at CK, Alysson’s feet having already left the ring ropes the moment the count was completed. She shrugged her shoulders, not knowing what CK was talking about while a sly smile appeared on her face and Parks helped her to her feet and raised her hand.

Maggie: Here is your winner, by way of pinfall…”THE OUTLAW” ALYSSON GARDNER!!!

Emma: Alysson and Missy went hell for leather at each other to make a point, and it was on Alysson to keep Missy out of the title conversation for a while. She managed it, too.

Zack: It may not be immediately, but there’s no question that whoever is Evolution Champion in the future is going to be standing across from Missy for that title. And whether it’s Alysson or Steph, this is what you are going to have to contend with.

Alysson celebrated her victory as Christian checked on Missy, while telling the referee that Alysson had her feet on the ropes - Parks explaining to the manager that he didn’t see it. CK helped Missy out of the ring and back up the ramp; Missy staring a hole through her opponent as Alysson was getting loudly booed by the crowd that only caused her to smirk more as she told the world that she was coming for the Evolution Championship.




The Atomic Age

The opening riff of the "Fallout 4 Theme", redone by Evil Ducky starts. Timed with the 3 bass notes, 3 hot yellow lights shine down on center stage, forming a 'radioactive' symbol. Standing in the center of the light, is Kaoru Asaka, in her ring gear and a long pine green ring jacket, crouched and facing the entrance, watching her first name also come on screen, and standing up as the next line plays. When it gets to the next set of 3 bass notes, the lights turn off one by one, and her last name comes onto screen a syllable at a time. Then as the main melody and drums kick back up, Kaoru turns around, throwing her fist into the sky, with the FFW Championship belt hanging from it. Kaoru points to the title proudly, with the lights behind her on the stage all beaming bright yellow. She yells out to the crowd, and starts to head for the ring... even stopping to air-guitar along to the song with a group of fans along the way...

Zack: We are just a bit less than two weeks into the aftermath from Fury, and as you can see, we have a new FFW Champion after a wonderful hard fought match with Jo McFarlane!

Mai: Pump the brakes on the wonderful. She wasn't even standing at the end of the night! Neither were you for that matter! At least when I'm passed out on the floor, it's usually my choice.

Zack: I'm sure that and more is about to be addressed tonight.

Maggie: Coming to the ring..... Hailing from New Vegas, Nevada and weighing in at 65 kilotons of power, she is the Nuclear Explosion of the Burning Star Express.... and your NEW FFW Champion....

Asaka runs and hops up onto the apron, hard cam side, climbing up the turnbuckles and raises the FFW Championship belt high above her head, showing off her accolade to the crowd at ringside.

Maggie: Atomic! Kaoru! Aaaaaaasaka!

When she turns back around and hops back into the middle of the ring, pyro booms up from the ringposts, with Asaka again raising the title into the air to the cheers of all in attendance in Cleveland. Kaoru gives the crowd a moment to settle down, holding up the FFW Championship at eye level for everyone to see.

Kaoru: This is what 29 years of work looks like. My entire life, from when I was an itty-bitty bomb, all the way to now, has been dedicated to wrestling. All in pursuit of one dream. To be the absolute best. To be... the one. THE Champion.Tag Team titles are great. I would know, I've held my share. Enough to put myself and my partner into the FFW Hall Of Fame, and that, too, is a great accomplishment.

But this...

Our new champion holds the FFW Championship belt up higher, letting it dangle from her hand in a proud display.

Kaoru: ... THIS is the dream! The ever-moving goalpost of greatness that tells the world that you've made it to the top! And now I've finally made it after 29 years. Through hell and redheads, I've made it.

For everyone who believed in me, this is for you. For every fan that gave me a chance when I was some unknown kid from Japan just trying to make it here, and anyone who's jumped on the Express along the way, this is for you. For Japan, who I only won bronze for in Global Wars with OE... here is the real hardware right here for you. For my family who let me try and make my own path with the knowledge they gave me, who trusted that I would make it this far... this is for you. For my partner, who believed in me when nobody else did. Sometimes, not even myself. This is for you, Andi. It's for everyone. Even the haters, the people who never believed, the people who never in their life thought I'd get this far. This is for you to stick it up your ass. I am here. I have made it. And now holding onto this championship? Defending it against the best the world has to offer and being YOUR FFW Champion?!

Kaoru finally places the belt back over her shoulder, and gives it a few good taps.

Kaoru: THAT... is for me. And I look forward to doing so for as long as I can.

Now, this is supposed to be where we get to the fun part. You know how it goes... Me telling you how in a few weeks time, I'll be back in the ring to defend this FFW Championship against a tough and deserving opponent like Leona Vega at Relentless. Maybe even with both her and Jo good luck tonight in the main event which I'm sure will have all of you on your feet. Even me, and I've had a hard time being on my feet for the past 2 weeks. Having a knock-down-drag-out battle like that with Jo McFarlane will do that and a whole lot more, trust me. She'll probably do worse next time, if I'm good enough to hold onto the title long enough for her to get a rematch. Leona knows that too, probably better than anyone.

But there's a problem. Not with the match. Not with Leona. My problem right now has nothing to do with that match, and why would it? Leona Vega is an individual that has respect. Respect for competition. For sportsmanship. And most importantly... for this.

Asaka points to the title belt now comfortably situated on her shoulder.

Kaoru: She would certainly not, after a match the likes of which Jo McFarlane and I had, lead a pack of rabid, useful idiots down to the ring to attempt to spoil a moment that I had spent a LIFETIME to try and get to. And not just my moment, because I had about 10 good seconds to even hold the title before shit started to go down, I didn't even have the chance to let it start to sink in to be pulled out of the moment. I still have the championship anyway. I've had that moment and a hundred more since.

I can almost understand an attack on Jo too. After she basically told you to pound sand, SUNNY, I can sort-of understand how in your warped mind you'd feel justified in doing something like that to her... and I've certainly never given your a reason not to do it to me either. In fact, I'll probably give you a few more before we come to some kind of understanding. You love that adversity, just throwing it out there when you can, like you're some kind of Korean Saltbae. YOu even brought a very special kind of scum with you to attack announcers. But I guess we shouldn't be too surprised by Kaylee, now should we? Whether or not Rhea or Kyle was connected to this won't matter, because the way Missy is lately, she'll make them regret that.

It was an act of Aggression that should have led to an Uprising. BUT.... in the greater interest, I have put that on hold for the moment,to hear Seth Star's grand plan. Nobody's pushed the button on the nuclear option.

The champion pauses for a beat, acting like she's almost pushing an invisible launch button.

Kaoru: Yet. Just know that it's an option, but one that will be exercised with great caution. I do not take this disrespect lightly. Not on myself, not as champion, and certainly not on behalf of FFW. And I will make things real adverse for you, Sunny, in any context. It is not wise to mess around with a nuke. For right now though, I need to put those feelings aside. I can't stare into the sun. I need to stare into the shades of one. From one set that likes to keep people laying after title matches to another. Thursday night, the Burning Star Express is going to come rolling into Wichita for Velocity to face Alysson Gardner and Valerie Lamb for a battle of cosmic proportions... and one thing is for sure.... we're going to burn it all down. Until then?

Kaoru once again lifts the title above her head.

Maggie: The following match is scheduled for one fall to the finish...!

The thumping war drums and the mysterious flute of "Aztec Temple" hit the sound system. The crowd comes alive as the Aztec Warrior Leona Vega comes through the main gate, looking over the cheering crowd, soaking it in for a bit. She points at two random spots into the audience before letting out a loud roar, which is followed by a lion's roar echoing through the sound system. She then slowly makes her way down the entrance ramp, sharing a high-five with the fans in attendance with their arms out for her.

Maggie: Introducing first, from Monterrey, Mexico... LEONA VEGA!

She then stops a couple of steps before the ring, backtracking a little bit and then sprinting towards it, hopping onto the ring apron, and then immediately vaulting over the top rope, landing in a three-point stance inside the ring. Soaking in the crowd's cheers, she gets up and climbs the nearest turnbuckle, staring into the crowd with a big smile, raising her arms, with her fists closed, saying a quick prayer to herself before slapping the top turnbuckle and jumping back down into the ring, cracking her joints in the sequence.

Zack: Jo has three victories over Leona already and although Leona is heading into Relentless against Kaoru, it will only help her momentum if she can beat the former champ tonight.

Mai: Zack, let me tell you something. Fish? They swim. Birds? They fly. Leona? She loses to Jo. These are immutable laws.

The arena darkens, with only strobe lights which pulse gently giving any kind of light to the arena. Lights on the ramp pulse in pink and white, while in the middle of the ring, spotlights form the Irish Tricolour, all of this while dry ice is coming up from the stage and ramp, generating a buzz from the crowd. It’s then that the dark, sweeping entrance of Ronan Hardiman’s “Warriors” comes in, and a spotlight focuses on the stage, to which Jo McFarlane comes out from behind the curtain, to the cheers of the fans.

Maggie: And her opponent, hailing from Edinburgh Scotland, by way of Derry, Northern Ireland, weighing one-hundred-and-twenty-seven-pounds, she is “The Living Firework” JOOOOO MCAFAAAAARLANE!

With the announcement out of the way, and the song underway, the redhead starts her way down the ramp, high fiving the fans as she heads down. Reaching the bottom of the ramp, she then turns to go around the ring, and carries on with the fans until she has gone full circle. Then, standing at the steps, she reaches across herself and removes her dress, handing it to an attendant. As the music picks up pace, she moves quickly towards and up them, her shoes clacking off of the steps, and she spins around, using the ropes until she gets to dead centre between them. From there, she bounces over the rope and lands on her feet, taking off towards her corner and vaulting herself onto the middle turnbuckle, posing briefly for the fans. She then hops down, waiting for what may come next while the music dies down.

Mai: Jo was dethroned by Kaoru Asaka at Fury and though she might be looking for a rematch down the line, she’ll have to wait until Leona has had her say. ...Or will she?

Zack: If you’re insinuating that Leona will fall against Kaoru I’ll first say you should have more faith in Leona than that to give Kaoru a great match... And admit confusion that you would even back Kaoru.

Mai: Zack, I don’t back any of these women. All this honor and respect and “I like you but must win for me” crap. Hit a low blow! Whip out brass knuckles! Makeout! DO SOMETHING!

DING! DING! DING!

Angela Keanan presides over the match as Leona comes in hot but Jo surprises her with a belly to belly suplex. The second The Living Firework rolls back on her feet she forces her up in the corner and irish-whipped her into the turnbuckle. From there Jo leapt onto her shoulders and hit her with an inverted hurricanrana once Leona went ribs and chest first into the turnbuckle. She spikes her head into the mat as Vega lays on the mat, only for Jo to come down on Leona and begin peppering her head with stiff forearms. Leona begins to try and free herself, blocking a forearm and answering back with her own, slowly getting herself up to a standing base before Jo steps back and sidekicks Leona in the thigh, sending her to take a knee before Jo hits her with a basement dropkick! When Vega goes down, Jo drags her all the way to the nearest ropes and hangs her leg on the second before jumping on the bottom rope and hitting a falling knee on Vega’s ankle!

Zack: Jo is already making it clear she’s going for the Gingersnap. She’s aggressive in this match right out of the gate.

Mai: I can’t help but remember their last match at Fury where Leona started out the match with a suplex... Jo coming starting out with it is some fateful symmetry is I’ve ever seen it.

Jo slowly began to hold onto Vega’s leg as the Aztec Warrior tried to free herself, kicking with the other leg but the Living Firework plays a bit of keepaway from it, using a facelock as though it was Leona’s head before she snaps forward, hitting snapmare of sorts on Leona’s leg! Vega lets out a grunt of pain but Jo hasn’t let go of the leg just yet, immediately forcing Leona to roll over on her stomach before slapping on a grapevine ankle lock, twisting Leona’s ankle. Leona rolls over on her stomach and goes to kick Jo away... But Jo actually ROLLS as Leona does and then overturns, bringing them back into the positioning of Leona on her stomach and Jo applying the grapevine ankle lock. Vega grunts and punches the mat in slight frustration as Jo continued to keep the ankle lock going. Referee Keanan asks Vega if she wants to quit but Leona only treats the ring like the trenches and begins to drag herself towards the ropes.

Zack: Jo will not let that right leg of Leona’s go for anything. She is out to debilitate as much of Leona’s speed and keep her weakened for that inverted figure four.

Mai: She’s going to pick it apart as much as possible Zack... But Vega’s looking at those ropes like an oasis in the desert and... I think I can see her cleavage.

Leona nearly throws her arm over the rope but Jo drags her RIGHT back into the center with the grapevine ankle lock. She twists slowly, bending but this time Leona decides that if she can’t flip herself on her back to kick Jo off, she’ll have to try other means. Suddenly both of Leona’s legs find themselves near Jo’s neck and a moment later she gets taken over with a hurricanrana that’s immediately converted into a double underhook crossface i.e. the Rings of Saturn. She begins pulling at Jo’s arms, trying to wrench both her shoulders out of their sockets...

Zack: An impressive counter by Leona here, something we’ve never seen out of her repertoire before but she’s putting that double underhook crossface to work.

Mai: Alright, sure I’ll admit it. This is kinda hot. Look at the way she’s got Jo bending. This is the type of wrestling I’m here for.

She continues wrenching the old but Jo shakes her head before Keanan even has a chance to ask the question of if she wants to quit. Leona slowly begins to let go of the hold with her legs, but her arms keep the grip on Jo’s arms, arm wrenching her before she begins to force Jo to walk with her... Towards the ropes. Slowly Leona begins to walk up the turnbuckle and begins to tightrope walk with Jo’s arm still gripped... She suddenly leaps catching Jo in a front facelock before using the momentum to spin...

...And spin...

...And spin...

...And spin...

Four revolutions before Jo’s head get spiked into the mat! Leona rolls her over and hooks the leg for the cover.

Zack: ORBIT DDT!!

OOOOONNNNNEEEEEEEEE!!

TTTTTTTWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

TTTTHHH--!!

KICKOUT!!

Jo gets the shoulder up but Leona is quick to come down on her, grabbing her head in a back headlock before forcing her up to the mat. She takes a glance at the nearest corner, about to send McFarlane’s head into the turnbuckle with a running bulldog into the corner but Jo pushes her off at the last moment. The Aztec Warrior takes this chance to run up the turnbuckles and do a flip but she lands on her tweaked leg and has to take a crouch as Jo does the same maneuver, landing right behind Leona and grabbing her leg from behind, but Vega uses it as an opportunity to spin her leg around, catching Jo across the side of the head with a leaping enzuigiri, sending Jo stumbling backward but keeping her standing position though the DDT and the kick have her reeling. Leona winces slightly on one leg before she takes off and dropkicks Jo through the ropes, sending her out onto the ground. Leona looks out to the Cleveland crowd, nodding her head as the crowd cheers... Still split down the middle between herself and Jo but quickly gaining as it looks as though Vega is about to fly. The Aztec Warrior sees the Living Firework rising before she leaps over the ropes for a suicide senton onto McFarlane!

Mai: Vega just wiped out Jo with that senton and she’s keeping control of this match as much as she can... But she keeps tweaking that leg with every leap and jump.

Zack: That’s gotta be what Jo was hoping for, focusing on Leona’s leg from the start of the match and Keanan doesn’t have to count long, Vega rolling Jo back in the ring!

Leona helps Jo up, hooking her grip around Jo’s ring bottoms before she slides her into the ring. She drops a quick flipping knee drop across the side of McFarlane’s head, causing Jo to writhe before she goes still. From here Leona looks to the top rope and quickly climbs, perching herself onto the turnbuckle before she takes aim. At this point Jo begins to... Roll over onto her stomach, pushing herself onto all fours. She’s trying to visibly shake off the cobwebs, looking as though she’s not entirely sure where she is at the moment. When she’s up on her feet but leaning forward, Leona shoots her shot for an avalanche fameasser... But The Living Firework has it scouted and immediately pops her head up to catch a wide eyed Leona Vega on her shoulders... Before powerbombing her into the ropes with a sitout as the referee counts!

TTTTTTTWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

KICKOUT!!

Leona kicks out and Jo doesn’t even miss a step, grabbing Vega’s right leg once again and rolling her onto her stomach before twisting her legs into a sharpshooter or scorpion hold rather! Vega lets out a pained cry of agony as McFarlane CONTINUES working that right leg with ferocity, sitting on the small of Leona’s back and keeping the sharpshooter applied. She keeps squeezing, keeps wrenching back as Keanan asks Leona if she wants to quit. Vega shakes her head, the Aztec Warrior punching the mat again... And again... And again... The Quicken Loans Arena beginning to pick up the rhythm that Leona’s whips about.

Mai: A sasori-gatame, Zack. Hey did you know that this hold when both people are naked can--

Zack: Ladies and gentlemen what a match so far and this Cleveland crowd is getting behind Leona Vega in a big way! She’s finding a third gear!

Jo looks back at Leona seeming to get revitalized by the crowd before Vega uses her forearms to force herself towards the ropes again. Inch by inch, inch by inch again before she throws an arm over them! Jo looks back at her before letting go of the hold before Keanan needs to count up to three and hooks one leg under her arm! Leona grabs the top ropes, hopping on her good leg before she flips inside up and nearly takes Jo’s head off with another enzuigiri... But Jo catches both her legs, wheelbarrows her one hundred and eighty degrees...

...Facebuster in the middle of the ring!

Zack: THERE’S THE BANG!!

Mai: Everytime Vega thinks she has the answer, Jo changes the test key!

Zack: The question Mai. It’s... Everytime Leona has the answer, Jo changes the question.

Leona’s shoulder goes up again and Jo rolls over, sitting with her knees hunched up and her hands on them. She lets out an exhale as Vega is still down, struggling to pull herself up. Jo stands up with the crowd back behind her as she she hooks a facelock around Vega’s head and begins to walk her towards the nearest turnbuckle. She stands up on the second turnbuckle ropes and turns her around, looking for a Tornado DDT but as she leaps Leona catches her on her shoulders and stops her from spinning about, instead flinging Jo onto her shoulders in a fireman’s carry. She takes aim, looking for the El Pilote but Jo swivels her hips as Leona throws her and hits her with a monkey flip into the turnbuckle! Vega’s back hits the buckles and she slides down on the mat in pain. Vega writhes as Jo takes off towards the opposite corner as Leona tries to push herself up and here comes McFarlane with a running shotgun dropkick! At the last moment however Leona ducks out of the way and Jo whiffs it completely, landing on the back of her neck! Leona takes aim once Jo is back to her feet and runs to the ropes, coming back with a superman punch that catches Jo stiff across the jaw! She goes down as Leona quickly heads up to the top rope, wincing halfway through... Once The Living Firework is halfway to standing... There goes the diving famouser and down goes Jo!

Zack: A superman punch! An avalanche leg drop bulldog! That’s gotta be it for the former FFW champion! Here’s the pin!

Mai: Another kickout. These two are just going to keep throwing everything they have at each other until something sticks. Jo’s allergic to that El Pilote. Remember Sin & Sacrifice? All that leg work negated it. Let’s see how this goes again.

Zack: SLEEPER! Remember Relentless? Jo had to struggle the last time to escape this! Every move these two throw at each other is a call back to a previous war! They know each other simply too well!

Leona immediately switched into a sleeper from Jo the second she sat up, wrapping her legs around Jo’s waist, in a bodyscissors. She puts the squeeze on the former FFW champion, squeezing as she tries to put her down. Keanan asks Jo if she wants to quit but she cannot answer, her face growing as red as her hair and her eyes beginning to close. The Aztec Warrior continues to put the squeeze, wrenching the hold as McFarlane’s eyes roll from the sleeper. Her arms slump at either side of her as Keanan grabs her wrist, lifting her arm up... Leona watches Jo’s arm drop the first time... And then drop the second time. Keanan raises Jo’s arm for the third time and the crowd rumbles as Jo’s arm stays up in the air! Her eyes snap open and she drives a back elbow into Leona’s gut... And another... And another... Leona’s bodyscissors break and both women are standing up but Vega’s still got the hold and hits Jo with a sleeper suplex, dropping on the back of her own head to do so as both women go down!

Zack: Leona hitting a last resort sleeper suplex, and both she and Jo are down!

As Keanan looks between both women she seems unsure of what to do as the Aztec Warrior begins to push herself upward. She looks around at the crowd and they seem to begin to surge up again as she suddenly drops to one knee, waiting for the former FFW champion to get up to her feet. She begins to rise upward, looking out on her feet as Leona takes off and catches her, flinging Jo up onto her shoulders. Once again it looks as though she’s about to hit her with the El Pilote and that this will be the end of it but Jo scrambles, slipping off of Leona’s shoulders and dropping onto the mat as Vega winces, fighting through the pain of her leg... When she turns around however Jo kicks her right leg out from under her, sending Leona down before Jo rolls over and slaps on the inverted figure four leg lock on Leona, wrenching for all she’s got in the middle of the ring.

Mai: ONCE AGAIN THE GINGERSNAP!! Leona may begin to start seeing that move in her nightmares!

Vega for her part is trying to drag both herself and Jo over to the ropes, or at least try while on her back but... Jo simply will not let her, leaning on her side and pulling as hard as she can on Leona’s right leg. She puts a hand on the right ankle of Vega’s boot and begins to bend it slightly, if only to torque on the pain. Vega tries to do a sit up, reaching for Jo but can’t and looks back at the ropes... Keanan asks Leona if she wants to quit but Vega has her face covered in her hands... Trying desperately to fight through the pain.

...And she keeps fighting.

...And keeps fighting.

Almost willing herself towards the ropes.

The Living Firework seems to notice this and shakes her head before Jo arches at her side, gritting her own teeth in pain. It seems to begin to hurt McFarlane the way she’s arching herself but it only increases more torque on Leona causing her to writhe in agony before she finally taps out.

DING! DING! DING!

Maggie: HERE IS YOUR WINNER BY SUBMISSION... JO MCFARLANE!!

Zack: That was as close as I’ve ever seen to Leona escaping that inverted figure four, Mai. She came within centimeters of that rope and it looked like Jo had to do something drastic. I’ve never seen her bend in that way to increase the pressure of the inverted figure four...

Mai: You know there’s a saying that fits perfectly tonight. “If you think I look bad, you should see the other guy”. Jo looked as though she was hurting herself in the final stretch if only to keep Leona down.

Keanan raises Jo’s hand as her music plays before he goes to check on Leona as McFarlane leans up against the ropes, both women absolutely spent from this bout.

Zack: That’s all we have time for with Breaking Point and I have to believe that our FFW champion Kaoru was watching the entire time. For Mai and everyone else, I’m Zack Hudson... We’ll see you at Velocity!

The last image is one of Leona, leaning against the bottom rope and staring at the lights. She and Jo look at each other before both women look back to realize that Savannah Taylor, Bianca Salvador, and Mel Avilo had been watching from the top of the ramp.
