The FFW logo appears briefly before we open on an isolated beach. The waves crash lap the shore as a man (as performed by David Hasselhoff) is shown dragging himself from the remnants of a wrecked ship. He pulls himself onto the shore, and rolls over onto his back. The captain’s hat falls off his head as he looks up to the sky as seagulls circle overhead.

‘HELP!”

He shouts in a rather overdramatized way. He finally sits up, and looks around. Quite a distance away, he sees….mermaids? Three beautiful women who seem to be mermaids are sunning on a few jagged rocks. The sight of them brings a smile to his face as he stumbles to his feet, and heads towards them.

The closer he gets, the more he is sure that they are real mermaids. As they see him approach, they sit up with smiles on their face and beckon him forward with a wave of their fingers. The smile on the captain’s face gets bigger as he finally makes it to them.

“Oh my God, mermaids are real! And….you’re gorgeous. All of you.”

He tells them as the three girls (Lacey, Tara Cortez, and Angel) look at one another with smiles. Tara reaches her hand out for him, causing him to move in her direction before a big rock cracks him in the back of the head. The scene goes black for a moment before the words “An Hour Later…” appear on the screen.

When the scene returns, there we see the three mermaids each with a bone in their hand and two of them (Tara & Angel) licking their fingertips. The redhead mermaid (Lacey) looks down at the skeleton on the sand, blowing it a kiss before red powder floods the screen.

Sex, and drugs, and dirty money
On the race to rule the world, you
Cut your teeth on fame and diamonds
Your time is up now
Three, Two, one
one one one one one one one one one
(We number) one one one one one one one one one

We immediately go inside the arena as “The One” by Slaughterhouse blares through the PA system. Multi-colored pyro erupts from the ringposts and the stage to a pop from the crowd.

Zack: Welcome to the Valley of the Sun here in Phoenix, Arizona! We are live from the Talking Stick Resort Arena, and you are watching Future Shock Genesis! Zack Hudson and the “King of Commentary” Lyn Dallins here ringside on a night where every title in Future Shock hangs in the balance!

Lyn: Ladies and gentlemen, do not adjust your television and slash or streaming service. It really is a show with everything on the line that will set Future Shock’s course for this year.

Zack: The Future Shock Tag Team Championship will be decided when a dominant looking Ascension challenges NHB in their first defense since winning the gold! No guest referee tonight, and no excuses. This may be a rare case where the champions are the underdogs, Lyn!

Lyn: You have to believe Zack that after all the STRUGGLE, all the PAIN, all that Angela and Jem had gone through, they will not part with those titles so simply!

Zack: Elizabeth Lannister tried to alter the course of history by making sure Bianca Reed was her opponent tonight to challenge for the Aspire Ring. But a wild card named “Midnight” could throw a monkey wrench in all of that, and cause Bianca’s third defense to be the most disappointing for her of all!

Lyn: Bianca could be going home with the next shot at hand... Or leaving with nothing at all. Both Elizabeth and Mila want what she has, but only one woman can leave here tonight with it.

Zack: Four women have their eyes on getting the next shot at that Ring. But they also have their eyes on getting a little payback on Lacey too. Kaya Crimson, Lydia Charisma, and Celeste all have a score to settle, but they can’t let that distract them from the goal: earning the next shot at the Ring! There’s a developing story right now as it pertains to this match. As we find out more, we’ll share it. But as far as I’ve been able to ascertain, Lyn, Lacey isn’t here. No one’s seen her all day!

Lyn: ...She’s got something planned, Zack. Her and Kyle both. There’s no way she wouldn’t be here otherwise.

Zack: Who’s gonna be the number one contender to the Future Shock Championship? Valerie McKinley and “Old School” Gillie Barnes will answer that question tonight. And you can bet Gillie has all the motivation she needs after that tag match on a recent Future Shock.

Lyn: Two women of backgrounds that couldn’t be farther apart clash for the third time and it ain’t gonna be pretty.

Zack: I’ve been trying to find out all day, Lyn, if Tara Cortez has an opponent for tonight. Mum’s the word out of Christian Kincaid on that one. So your guess is as good as mine. We’ll see the “10 Star Prospect” one way or another. I just don’t know in what capacity right now.

Lyn: I doubt she’s ever going to have one at this rate, given how quickly some of Carson’s clients were shot down.

Zack: And it all leads to a main event where the first Prospect to ever hold the Future Shock title faces one of the biggest challenges she’ll ever have! Harley Shannon makes her first defense against Andi Takata, who is returning from injury to finally claim her rematch! Andi has all the metrics in her favor, and she may be the odds on favorite to leave Genesis with her second Future Shock Championship reign!

Lyn: One errant superkick might have changed the entire complexion of this match, but I suspect there will only be respect on mutual sides as things get heavy.

Zack: It’s gonna be a wild ride! Let’s send it up to the “Wildcat”, because we’re ready for action! Take it away, Gaby!

The ringing of the bell diverts all attention to the ring as the “Wildcat” Gabrielle Crimson stands inside with her microphone in hand.

Gaby: The opening contest of Future Shock Genesis is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the FFW Future Shock Tag Team Championship!

Zack: We’re kicking things off tonight with championship action, as you just heard. There’s been beef with these two teams since the opening round of the tag title tournament, Lyn.

Lyn: Perhaps we’ll get it settled here tonight, Zack... And perhaps pigs will fly not without the aid of cannons.

The opening chords of “Destroy & Conquer” by Future World Music begin to rattle through the arena, the curtains start to move as Valentina Lozano & Isis Morales slowly steps out onto the ramp. They are unfazed by the boos from the crowd as Valentina bends her right knee and angles her left leg, her right arm shooting up into the air with a cocky smirk with Isis standing behind her, raising her fist in the air with a cocky smirk, standing in a unified domineering pose while basking in the negative heat of the crowd. Valentina gets back to her feet and then begins to walk side by side with Isis down the aisle.

Maggie: Making their way to the ring…at a total combined weight of three hundred and sixty-five pounds....”The Latin Goddess” Valentina Lozano & “The Titaness” Isis Morales... They are...

ASCENSION!!!!!!!!!

At the ringside area, Valentina and Isis walk around the ring once before entering the ring, with Valentina making her way to a waiting human stairway next to the ring: one guy on all fours next to the ring and one guy lying prone in front of him. Causally stepping on the men, Valentina walks up and walks across the edge of the ring. She then reclines against the ropes and callously looks down at the men, giving them a smirk while they get to their knees and properly grace her boots with kisses before dismissing themselves to the back. Valentina then glares towards the referee in the ring and orders the referee to hold the ropes for her, which the referee reluctantly complies with doing. She wipes her feet on the apron and enters the ring. Meanwhile, Isis enters the ring by stepping over the top rope with ease. The ladies then go to opposite ring posts in which they climb up and pose to the crowd with complete confidence, taking in the atmosphere while the crowd reaction continues and the cameras flashing.

After the ladies taunt the crowd (and/or opponents), Valentina then goes to one of the corners to lean against.  After giving Valentina a few words and patting her on the shoulder, Isis smirks and stretches a little as they await their opponents to come out.

Zack: FFW’s reigning Tornado Tag Champions could make history tonight as the first team to hold two tag titles within FFW, Lyn. And after their win on our last broadcast, it’s hard to bet against them.

Lyn: People may joke, snigger, and laugh at the Ascension and their assumptions of being ever dominant but you cannot argue facts. Tornado Tag champions. Check. Showings in previous Femme For Alls for both women. Check. Isis’s dominant Future Shock championship reign. Check. Valentina winning last year’s Global Wars as a part of Team Canada. Check. Hate them, despise them, mock them... You can’t take away their successes.

“Deuce” by Kiss begins to play, Jem runs out of the back and onto the stage area with a title belt around her waist, sprinting across to the far side and bouncing on the balls of her feet as she encourages the crowd to get a little louder. Charging across to the other side of the stage, she once more cheer leads before heading back to the middle of the stage. Meeting her partner there, Angela with her title belt on her shoulder, the two girls double high five and turn it into a hug that breaks as Jem charges down to the ring, sliding underneath the bottom rope. Angela follows her down the ramp, slapping hands with fans. Jem pops up to her feet and makes a tour of the corners, climbing to the middle turnbuckle and throwing her hands into the air to get a cheer from the crowd before moving onto the next one. As Angela reaches the ring she walks hops up onto the apron and raises one clenched fist in the air before she enters the ring and walks to the NHB corner to await the start of the match, then passes the titles to the referee.

Gaby: Approaching the ring at a combined weight of 306 lbs, the team of Jem Michaels and Angela Hinchcliffe. They are the reigning...defending Future Shock Tag Team Champions…....NO HOLDING BACK!!!

Referee Angela Keanan checks all four women before taking the Future Shock Tag Titles, and raising them up for the crowd. She hands them off to Gaby as she exits the ring, and calls for the bell. Angela and Valentina start for their respective teams, and meet in the center. Lozano tells her that those tag titles belong to Ascension before shoving her backwards. Angela rolls her eyes as Valentina goes for a cheap shot. But Angela blocks it, and starts firing right hands into her head. Six of them connect before she grabs her hand, jerks forward into a short knee to the ribs that takes the wind out of her. Angela moves around behind her, and executes an atomic drop that sends Valentina into NHB’s corner. The powerhouse of NHB follows her with a corner clothesline, and makes the tag to Jem. And together, they take turns unloading chops on Valentina’s chest before they send her across for the ride. Lozano gets caught on the rebound with a double flapjack as Jem makes the cover! Hinchcliffe heads for her corner as Keanan drops to make the count.

Zack: NHB aren’t getting paid by the hour, Jem has the cover!

ONE!!

T-NOPE!!

Lozano kicks out as the two is about to strike, sending Jem off the cover in the process. The redhead springs to her feet, and takes off towards the ropes. Valentina rises to her feet, and turns into a flying shoulder tackle from Jem that takes her back down. She rolls to her feet, and even gives a dropkick to Isis in the corner that lands her on her feet on the floor.

Lyn: Corner dropkick right in the mush of the Titaness and Jem is playing pinball tonight here folks!

When she turns back around, Valentina tries to catch her with a discus elbow. But Jem ducks underneath it behind her. When she turns back around, Jem boxes her ears and uses a monkey flip to send her rolling into the NHB corner. The redhead darts towards her partner, and makes the tab. Angela steps through, and drops to a knee after laying Valentina across it. Jem comes off the top rope with a guillotine leg drop to the “Latin Goddess” before Angela goes for a cover.

ONE!!

TW-NOPE!!

Lozano kicked out again as Angela connected with a double knee drop across her back when she tried to push up to her feet.

Zack: Nothing but tag team continuity here from the champions, Lyn. As a former tag specialist yourself, I’m sure you can appreciate the quick tags and teamwork we are seeing.

Lyn: Five lengthy tag title reigns across three companies, but who’s counting! They gotta keep that tempo up, Zack. Hold onto the momentum that Ascension currently is having trouble catching up to.

Angela made the tag again as Valentina was getting up, and then throwing her with a t-bone across Jem’s knees. The powerhouse returned to her corner as Jem went for the cover once more with a hook of the outside leg.

ONE!!

TWOOOOOOOOO!!!

She kicked out once more, causing Jem to roll off the cover. The redhead immediately moved towards the corner, and crouched in position. Lozano started to rise up as Jem darted towards her, looking for a spear. But Valentina got her knee up, and drove it into Jem’s face!

Lyn: NOW THAT’S HOW YOU COUNTER A SPEAR! ...I am so sorry but the reference had to be made.

Zack: Well warranted! Valentina’s ring awareness is second to none, and Jem may be making sure her teeth are still in place after that.

Lozano took a moment to try to pull herself together as Jem began to get up. Another kneelift to the head caught the champion, doubling her over before Valentina began to hammer her with clubbing blows across her back. She pulled her up, spun her around, and shoved her into the ropes before connecting with a kidney punch into her lower back. A scoop into a back suplex followed that before Valentina executed a double stomp to Jem’s back as she rolled onto her stomach.

Zack: It took her a little bit to get out of the blocks, but it doesn’t take long for us to see Valentina’s game plan tonight. She’s methodical, and very proficient at what she does.

Lyn: She’s like Wolverine with red bottoms... Horrible mental image.

Jem started back to her feet again, only to get pulled into position for a Russian leg sweep. Valentina pummeled her with punches for a few seconds, and got back to her feet. She took a moment to antagonize the crowd before jerking Jem to her feet. She whipped her across for the ride, and caught her on the rebound with a spinning spinebuster followed by a leg hook into a cover.

Zack: Valentina looking to make history right now!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

NOPE!!

Jem’s shoulder came up in time, which seemed to bring a small but evil smile to Lozano’s face. She kicked Jem onto her stomach, stomped a foot into her back and then pulled up on her arms for a standing surfboard submission in the center of the ring.

Lyn: Usually Lozano likes doing an elevated version of this but I sense she’s expanding her game this year. Excellent stuff, I have to admit.

The referee dropped down in front of Angela, asking her if she wanted to submit. But the co-holder of the Future Shock Tag Titles gave a very loud no as Valentina continued to add more pressure. She arched backwards, trying to increase the pain for Jem. It was working as the redhead’s face was grimaced in pain. Angela began hitting the top turnbuckle, rallying the crowd. Valentina told her she could do this all night, and then crossed Jem’s arms behind her back in a X while keeping the surfboard applied.

Zack: I can only imagine the absolute agony Jem’s feeling right now, look at her arms being pulled in opposite directions!

Lyn: Lozano could keep this all night. Seriously, ask her. She probably would if she can but these folks in Phoenix and Angela alike want Jem free!

Keanan asked the champion again if she wanted to call it quits, but Jem was still defiant in her no for an answer. Valentina tried to pull her arms further, causing tears to form on Jem’s face before Angela bolted in and caught Lozano with a boot across the jaw. It sent her to the canvas before the referee went to get Angela out of the ring. Jem clutched her back in pain as she rolled onto her side. Valentina got her wits together, and headed for her corner while Jem did the same. Lozano made the tag as Isis stepped over the top rope. Jem pushed up to all fours and lunged towards Angela….only to have her feet yanked out from under her by Isis.

Lyn: ...What’s that saying about Divide & Conquer?

Zack: There aren’t many women in FFW who can yank Angela off the cover like that! Unfortunately for her, Isis is one of them!

Isis pulled her back to her feet, and began to hammer fists into her lower back. Each shot made Jem yelp in pain. The Titaness fired her across into the far corner with a hard whip. Jem’s back struck against the corner, and she staggered out into the waiting hands of Isis. She scooped her up with both hands around her throat for a sitout chokeslam! Morales hooked a leg as Keanan fell to count.

Lyn: Two-handed chokeslam and down goes Jem! Here’s the cover!

ONE!!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NOPE!!

The count was broken up by a kick to the back of her head from Angela. The referee went to get her out of the ring once again as Isis glared a hole through her for a moment, and rose back to her feet. Jem tried to get up again, only for Isis to scoop her into a torture rack across her shoulders. The champion’s face was awash in agony as Isis bounced her up and down over those shoulders. Keanan asked her if she wanted to quit, but Jem shook her head this time. Valentina shouted to her to break her in half, an evil grin on her face.

Zack: Jem’s mind might be wanting her to keep fighting, but her body is begging for a reprieve from this concentrated assault from Ascension on her spine.

Lyn: The spirit is willing but the flesh is spongy and bruised to quote Futurama.

The crowd began chanting her name, trying to bring Jem back into the match. Her fist started shaking as Isis held her in place. It wasn’t long though before Angela came back in, delivering a chop block to Isis’ knee. It brought the Titaness down to the mat, and allowed Jem to get free. Angela grabbed her partner by the hand, dragged her to the corner, stepped out and tagged herself in immediately.

Lyn: Big A coming through with the save tryna show Isis what it’s like when she throws hands with someone her own size! Uh, close to it.

Zack: Angela making sure Jem makes it to the corner one way or another, and now things are about to even up a bit more! Though I’d say Isis is the stronger of the two.

She helped Jem up. And as Isis was starting to get up, both of them connected with stereo superkicks to each side of her head. Jem rolled out to the floor near her corner as Angela took off towards the far side. Morales began to get to her feet, only to get brought down by a running bulldog. The powerhouse of NHB grabbed her head, and took off towards the ropes. She used them for a springboard bulldog, and then hooked the outside leg for a cover.

Zack: Two bulldogs, no waiting! Angela’s bringing home the gold right here!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NOPE!!!

Morales kicked out in time before the three. Angela shouted to Jem, who was back on the apron but clearly not in optimal shape right now. Jem darted back inside, and they both pulled Isis up to her feet in a front facelock. A nod to one another followed before they both hoisted Isis upside down….and drove her into the mat with a stalling brainbuster! Angela went for a cover as Valentina came back in, causing Jem to launch towards her.

Zack: A dual brainbuster on the Titaness! Angela’s got the cover!!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NOPE!!

Isis got her shoulder up, and the referee went to get Valentina and Jem out of the ring. Lozano used a hiptoss to throw Jem out to the floor. And as Angela started to get back up again, Valentina caught her with a bicycle kick to the face that dropped her where she stood. Morales rolled over, and made the cover from there.

Lyn: PRICE! LESS! KISS!

ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NOPE!!

Angela got her shoulder up in time before the three, and Isis got back to her feet. The Titaness plucked Angela’s head between her legs as the referee was trying to get Valentina out. While she did that, Jem headed up to the top rope. Isis hoisted Angela up for a powerbomb...but Hinchcliffe countered with a tornado DDT. The tag champion darted for the corner, grabbed her partner, and threw Jem off the top rope into a frog splash on Isis! She rolled off as Angela dove for the cover. The referee spotted it, and immediately went to count.

Lyn: Rocket Launcher Frog Splash! That might be all it takes!

ONE!!!!!!!!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Valentina tried to stop it, only to get restrained by Jem. Keanan called for the bell to the delight of the crowd, and Jem bolted to hug her partner when she got to her feet.

Zack: You want to talk about outstanding teamwork?! You just saw it right there, and the result? Well you tell’em, Gaby!!

Gaby: The winners of this match….AND STILL……...Future Shock Tag Team Champions…..NO HOLDING BACK!!

The crowd gave the British girls a roaring response as they were handed back the tag titles. The two raised them high, and clinked them together with a smile on their faces. Jem’s smile was short-lived, due to her back hurting as Angela put an arm around her and began to help her towards the back.

Lyn: The Ascension making history will have to wait another day!

Zack: NHB are leaving Phoenix exactly the way they arrived, with the Future Shock Tag Titles in hand. Next Generation, you got your work cut out for you, ladies!

As the champions raised their titles once more on the ramp, the show headed to a video clip.

What You Didn’t See

Recorded at a recent promotional event….

The show fades in as the camera pans over a whole line of fans standing in the backstage area. They wear various t-shirts of FFW stars and holler and point as the camera passes by them.

At the head of the line, sitting behind a banquet table stacked with photos and other FFW merch, is none other than Future Prospect Celeste! The raven-haired beauty is dressed casually in jeans and a pink and white striped shirt which is cut off at her mid-riff. She greets the fans as they step up with a brilliant smile. With an appreciative nod she listens to them and signs whatever merch they provide with a big black marker. Pictures, hats, ticket stubs, even a few wrestling magazines. Each fan walks away happy. The next fan steps up and the camera zooms in closer to catch what is said to Celeste.

Fan #1: It was so cool to see you in that dodgeball game! I've been watching you since you debuted in HKW!

Celeste: Why thank you! That game was so much fun. Here ya go!

Celeste signs the fan’s white baseball cap bearing the FFW logo. The next fan comes up to her.

Fan #2: Hey, uh… sorry you didn't make it further in the YGC. I was uh, really rooting for you.

Fan number two holds out a glossy printed photo of the poster HKW put her on to advertise the return of Subversion. His shy demeanor is apparent and Celeste gives the young man a soft smile. She replies while signing the photo.

Celeste: It's alright. As long you try your best that's all that matters. I appreciate your support.

The fan is directed to keep moving by the security guard standing behind Celeste. A few more fans come up. Each has something nice to say. Celeste soon hears the shock of some fans after they walk away from her. She and the camera look down the way to see none other than Lacey standing several feet away, snatching signed items out of the fan’s hands. Lacey crosses Celeste's name off the item and then scribbles down her own before tossing the item back to each bewildered fan.

Celeste's mouth hangs open at the audacity of it all. Quickly, she storms down toward Lacey and steps in front of the next fan to glare at her. Lacey scowls at the younger FFW star.

Lacey: Do you mind? I'm signing autographs here. These fans are here to see me and you are ruining their experience.

Celeste huffs incredulously.

Celeste: Uh no...they are in line for ME. You are being rude and ruining their signed items with your name.

Celeste stares defiantly at the woman how has been hounding her ever since coming into Future Shock.

Lacey: In what kind of Twilight zone would anybody ever want to go out of their way to see YOU? Just because you managed to piggy back the Future Shock name by getting yourself involved as a ball thrower in a dodgeball game… and then somehow managed to convince management to sign you. Perhaps it was some kind of charity mission by Future Shock. Helping those less fortunate and less blessed with star power to try and make them feel better about their pathetic selves.

The redhead looks thoughtful for a moment, before she tosses her hair back over shoulder to let it lay down her back.

Lacey: Yes. That must be it. It’s the only possible scenario that makes any kind of sense.

Celeste: OR...Future Shock realized they needed someone to make the show more interesting. And take a look around, these fans are here for me.

Celeste gestures to the crowd behind her. They buzz with anticipation as well as break out their phones to record video of this meeting between the two opposing Future Shock stars.

Celeste: But it's nice to see you make an appearance instead of leaving dead flowers everywhere.

Lacey: Oh boo, you do have a lot to learn don’t you? You think these people are here because they like you? Take a look around.

Lacey gestures around to the room full of fans, a good portion of them seeming to be teenage boys… at least the ones that Lacey points out to the camera.

Lacey: They’re not here because of your dazzling personality or in-ring skills. They’re all just hoping that someone drops the heating a couple of degrees.

Celeste's mouth hangs open for a moment from the shock of Lacey’s barb. It soon closes however as she shakes her head.

Celeste: So you are no better than the rest who have something against me. You just showed that you don't know me and if that's how you want to play things then…

Celeste steps up closer to Lacey, staring into her eyes.

Celeste:...you don't want to know me.

The redhead doesn’t move back, just rolls her eyes and then glares back at the younger Prospect.

Lacey: I have something against anyone who tries to steal my spotlight, boo. Don’t be getting all above your station thinking that it is anything about you personally. You need to learn your place, and since you’ve been a little slow on the uptake, it looks like I’ll have to help you out on that front.

Celeste: I don't need any help. As far as your spotlight is concerned, consider it stolen. I am the best new prospect Future Shock has and I'm going to prove as I run through you and anyone else that stands in my way. I will show it in that ring, like I always do. Just like I do in HKW and SAP.

Lacey: We’ll see about that now, won’t we?

Security Guard: Okay ladies that's enough.

Three security guards push past the crowd and get between Lacey and Celeste to separate the two feisty females. The crowd boos as there won't be a fight tonight. The scene fades as Celeste and Lacey are ushered in different directions. As the video fades out, we cut to a commercial for the Future Shock merchandise site.

When Angel Aspires

We see a quick image of the triple threat match for the Aspire Ring before the shot pulls back, and there we also see Angel and her manager, Christian Kincaid, looking at it too. Both turn to address the camera as Christian looks pleased.

Christian: For those of  you who might have missed it, this talented woman right here defeated one of my other clients, Celeste. By winning that match, it put her right in line for a shot at the Aspire Ring since Celeste was getting one tonight too. Now that did end up leaving her off the card, but frankly, I believe we all agree one fatal four way is enough. And Angel here would much rather face the winner of the triple threat tonight.

Angel nods.

Angel: You’re not wrong there. I would have been quite happy to completely mess with everyone and get myself in that contender’s match, but the reality is that we don’t need things to be more complicated than they already are. Hell, they would have been less complicated if Celeste had put up even half the fight that she thought she was going to. But that’s what happens when you can’t come up with anything to say about your opponent. So I guess it’s all reap what you sew...and I’ll be watching all of this very, very closely.

Christian: Now if Sara were here, she’d be asking who Angel would prefer. I didn’t need her for that. So what I thought we’d do is discuss all three and the possibilities. Let’s start the champion. I start with her not just for being the Ring bearer, but because I am almost positive Angel won’t be facing her either way. I don’t claim to know Bianca Reed all that well, but I’m fairly sure if she wins her third defense, she will want to cash in for the Future Shock Championship. Of course, I could be wrong but she gives that impression. So the chances of her facing Angel are the lowest of the three. What do you think?

Angel: At least you’ve got a rough idea of what she wants to do with it, because from the way it sounded when she won the thing, she didn’t have a clue what was what anyway. First, she’s talking about how she’s going to go for five defences, but in the same breath is talking about how she wants to be Future Shock Champion. As we all know, those things don’t compute. Some might chalk it up to excitement, but personally I’d chalk it up to a moment of pure stupidity. Problem then comes from the fact you have people like me who murder you for mistakes like that. But you’re right, she’ll probably cash in at three and go for the belt. Which is just as well, because she’s not main roster ready yet. She’s a capable wrestler, sure, but not capable enough.

Christian: Now as it was explained to me by Adam, if Bianca does retain and goes for the title, Angel here would face the winner of the four way we talked about to crown the new Ring bearer. But we’d be here all night if we went through all of them too. So next, onto Mila. She’s shown a tremendous amount of heart, but hasn’t been able to put that first win in the books. So if she does it tonight, well that’s pretty damn big. But then...well, she gets Angel.

Angel: Most people would completely disagree with me when I comment on how Adam does sometimes give chances to those who don’t deserve them. And then we have Mila. Having heart is great and I’m sure she’s going to maybe one day actually manage something, but showing that you have the determination is not enough. I find it incredibly difficult to take a contender seriously when they haven’t actually proven that, despite training, their capability is not where it should be.

Christian: And of course, finally we have Elizabeth Lannister. She’s undefeated so far in Future Shock, knocking off veterans who came to visit as well the Aspire Ring holder. Of the challengers, she has the most legitimate right to be involved in this match. Of course, trying to sway matches so you get to face the one you want...well that doesn’t work all the time, which is why Mila is in this match now. So while she is a very talented woman, maybe her decisions don’t always….well….pan out well for her.

Angel: It’s interesting when you watch people like her, isn’t it? If I had to pick between the two challengers, for all the reasons that have just been mentioned, it would be Elizabeth. As you said, she is as far undefeated on the main roster and has a win over Bianca already. But not only that, she is the best wrestler of the three as well. I dislike her attitude immensely, as, honestly, your physicality does not automatically make you better than any of your peers. But what would I know. And as you said...really not there on the decision making.

Christian: Something tells me she won’t be scheduling any bikini photo shoots during this match, as she has had a habit of doing in the past.

Angel: I wouldn’t make any bets one way or the other.  On one hand it’s easy to say that they’ll do the smart thing, but on the other, people can be incredibly predictable.

Christian: Long story short, when you have seven people including the champion piled into the Aspire Ring division on tonight’s show, it is in definite need of cleaning up. So no matter whether it’s the champion herself or the next contender in the fatal four way tonight, that sense of accomplishment could be fleeting because well...Angel’s next.

A smrik crosses the blonde’s face.

Angel: And if any of you think that you’re going from a hard match to an easy match, you won’t be surviving the first defence.

And on that, we head back to the ring.

The graphic for the Fatal 4 Way is shown to the live crowd before we head back to ringside, while Gaby steps back into the ring.

Gaby: The following contest is a Fatal 4 Way match, where the winner earns a shot at the Aspire Ring!

Zack: It’s go time for four women….at least three who want to get the next shot at the Aspire Ring. I’ve been informed if Bianca wins her match tonight and decides to cash in, Angel will face the winner of this match to crown the next Ring holder.

Lyn: Whoever wins this match then, I can safely say I do not envy you one bit.

Strobe begins to flicker in tandem with the techno intro of "We’re in This Together Now" by Nine Inch Nails. The words begin to screech over the arena as Celeste makes her way out.

I've become impossible
holding on to when
when everything seemed to matter more
the two of us…all used and beaten up
watching fate as it flows down the path
we have chose…

She walks down the ramp with her focus on the ring ahead. After jumping up onto the apron she heads over to the nearest turnbuckle and climbs it. When the chorus hits, Celeste raises both arms up and out to take in the sounds of the crowd as she closes her eyes and tilts her head skyward.

you and me
we're in this together now
none of them can stop us now
we will make it through somehow
you and me
if the world should break in two
until the very end of me
until the very end of you

At the end of the chorus, Celeste hops into the ring from the turnbuckle and cracks her knuckles in preparation for the fight ahead while her theme fades out.

Gaby: Hailing from Miami, Florida…weighing 120 lbs…CELESTE!

Zack: Celeste has been nothing but impressive to me since she arrived in Future Shock. And in just a handful of matches, she finds herself with a major opportunity here.

Lyn: An opportunity I suspect she will be making ample use of here tonight, no matter how many people she has to face to get there.

The opening to “Our Truth” by Lacuna Coil kickstarts, feeling the arena with Cristina Scabbia’s symphonic wail. Its unique beat results in Kaya Crimson making a steady walk from behind the curtain. Chewing on a piece of bubblegum, she scans the crowd methodically. After her initial scan, she blows a bubble before heading down the ramp. A black hood shrouds all but her excited smile. Her walk down the ramp itself represents that as she throws her hands out to the crowd, smacking the hands of outstretched fans. She stops and points outward to Gabrielle Crimson, beckoning her to start her call.

Gaby: Making her way down to the ring...weighing at a 143 pounds...she is the Rockstar Revolution...KAYAAAAAAAAAAA CRIMSOOOOOOOOOON!

Only taking a few more steps down the ramp, she stops on the end of the it. From there, she takes a “break” on the barricade, allowing some lucky fans to get some up close and personal selfies and interactions with the Rockstar Revolution. She leaves them with a playful air, putting up the devil horns with her fingers while she saunters towards the ring.

When she ascends the ring apron, she shows a small usage of her athleticism, front-flipping over the top rope. With a roll to recover, she stays on one knee. The hood naturally falls off, revealing the full features of herself. The bright eyes of Kaya Lovelace displays her competitive glee as she points out to Gabrielle Crimson. She blows her a kiss and mouths “thank you” to her fellow Crimson. She heads to her designated corner, keeping her back turned to whatever. Lowering her head to the top turnbuckle, she begins her mental preparations. Most of which involves her rolling her wrists around in, garnering focus in the action.

Zack: If you watched Global Wars, you saw how close Kaya Crimson came to dethroning Bianca Reed in her first defense of the Aspire Ring. I have every confidence she she is more motivated than ever tonight.

Lyn: Absolutely, Zack. Kaya had a taste of it... All you need is a taste to motivate you and she might be the one to watch out for here... Rather than you know, Lacey who they all want to kill.

“Charisma” by W.A.S.P. fills the arena as up near the top of the ramp a fine smoke begins to pour out from both sides. Fragments of code begin running on the ground, but they slowly transform into... Music notes. The notes of green and purple begin to appear on the ground of the ramp towards the ring.

“I've a breath in minds of men with the lies I breathe!
No man's ever ruled the world not knowing the curse of me!
I'm some of the seven sins, vanity in the lust of men!
I'm the Alpha-Omega man, I'll show you who I am!
Ohhhhhh, hypnotic charm, mesmerizing face, my soul has a dark embrace!
A magic tongue, I'll seduce you all ‘till I'm your king, ‘till ya know my...!

CCHHHHAARRRIIIZZZMMMMAAAAAAAAAA!!! DO YOU KNOW MY NAME!?
I’M THE GOD THAT YOU PRAISE, WHEN YOU WORSHIP MY NAME!
CCHHHHAARRRIIIZZZMMMMAAAAAAAAAA!!! ARE YOU IDOLIZING ME!?
I’M A DANGEROUS THING, AND YOUR NEW MESSIAH’S ME!”

Walking backwards through the smoke is Lydia Charisma with her back to the crowd. She raises her hands up over her head and turns around, doing a little air guitar! Charisma continues to play an invisible guitar halfway down the ramp. She stops to look through the crowd and spots a young man in the audience on the way to the ring. Lydia taps her cheek, telling him to kiss it... Before doing the same to the girl nearby him.

Gaby: From Sin City... Weighing in at 202 pounds... She is THE RAWK OF AGES, THE JUKEBOX POWERHOUSE, THE ONE WOMAN NIELSEN RATING... This is “THE SIX STRING SINNER”... LLLYYYDDDIIIAAA! CCCHHHHAAARRRIIISSSSMMMMAAAAA!!

“I'm a liar blinding your vision, vatican man!
Preachin' fear and using religion, with the Bible and Koran!
I wrap myself in the American flag, and tell people I'm for which it stands,
I'm comin' back till you know I'm God, ‘till you believe, till you know my...!
CCHHHHAARRRIIIZZZMMMMAAAAAAAAAA!!! DO YOU KNOW MY NAME!?

I’M THE GOD THAT YOU PRAISE, WHEN YOU WORSHIP MY NAME!
CCHHHHAARRRIIIZZZMMMMAAAAAAAAAA!!! ARE YOU IDOLIZING ME!?
I’M A DANGEROUS THING, AND YOUR NEW MESSIAH’S ME!”

With unfettered confidence she slides into the ring before stopping to crouch down and seemingly check her kneepads. Suddenly Lydia springs up and runs against the ropes, stopping in the center to crouch once more and flex her bicep. She kisses each once, posing for the crowd as her song fades out.

Zack: Lydia Charisma is definitely the strongest woman in this match. She may be oozing with charisma, but she’d LOVE to do so with an Aspire Ring opportunity in her hip pocket.

Lyn: I’d say the sting that tag match has been washing about in her mouth. Charisma hasn’t been as successful as she might have liked in recent showings, but I suspect she wants to turn that all around here.

The lights dim as the opening bars of “Turn You On” by Stitched Up Heart hit the speakers around the arena.

Are you awake, You're gonna have to hear the words I say
Don't you try turn away, I'm everything you ever dreamed I'd be
I'll make you wish that you never talked, Back to me
I can't wait to watch your ego bleed
Your pain will set me free

A red spotlight hits the curtain and Kyle Kilmeade walks out on his own with a shake of his head. He immediately climbs into the ring, talking to Gaby for a moment before he heads down to ringside with his arms crossing his chest. Gaby gave him a skeptical look before leaving the ring.

Zack: I guess we’re going to have a triple threat match instead, Lyn. Kyle looks pretty irritated by all this, but it’s like we talked about earlier. Lacey...isn’t here.

Lyn: At first I thought this was just a plan by him, but I guess I was wrong. That or he’s an excellent actor.

Referee Kevin Fisk checks all three women. He glances back to the timekeeper with a shrug and calls for the bell. The three women meet in the center, shaking hands with one another with Kaya offering a fist bump after that. As they both go to do the same, Kaya catches them both with a fist to the mouth with both hands. Each catch a kick to the stomach before Crimson grabs their heads and delivers a stereo DDT. She quickly gets to her feet and takes off towards the ropes, rebounding off them with a double leaping elbow drop across both their chests. She immediately went for a cover on Celeste, but before Fisk could get into position, the brunette rolled her off into the ropes. Celeste hopped back to her feet just a second after Kaya, and caught her with a forearm shot to the mouth. It rocked Crimson backwards before Lydia fed her a big boot that sent her through the ropes to the floor.

Zack: Kaya was looking to catch a surprise win right there, but it was way too early! She gets an A for effort from me, and deposited on the floor courtesy of Celeste and Lydia.

Lyn: Well she can take heart that it took two to remove her at least for the moment.

With Kaya on the floor, Celeste and Lydia looked at one another for a moment. Celeste went for a right hand, but Charisma caught her fist in one hand and started squeezing it. It caused the Miami native to grimace in pain before Charisma clocked her with a right cross to the jaw. Celeste stumbled in place before she was sent across for the ride into the far corner. She had barely struck back first before Charisma pasted her with a corner clothesline. She staggered out of the corner, and Lydia scooped her up high overhead into a gorilla press before slamming her to the mat.

Zack: That’s what we talked about, Lydia bringing raw power to the table! Celeste got planted with that gorilla press, and---look at that!!

As Kaya was pulling herself up to get back in the ring, a familiar redhead darted down the ramp with a chair in her hand. Crimson grabbed the rope to pull herself up as Lacey crashed it across her back, causing her to fall back to the floor. She slid in the ring as Lydia leaned down to grab Celeste, measuring her from behind as the live crowd tried to warn Lydia.

Lyn: Well, score one for Kyle being a good actor... Lacey coming to make herself heard and felt!

Lacey charged towards her with the chair raised overhead, only for Lydia to turn around and punch the chair out of her hand to the mat. A dent was in the seat where her fist hit, and Lacey’s eyes widened when she looked back up to Lydia’s expression as she shook her head.

Lyn: Well... Lacey... You shouldn’t oughta have done that.

Zack: Definitely not! Look at the expression on Lydia’s face!

Lacey bolted for the ropes, only to get snagged from behind by Lydia! She spun her around, and unloaded with haymaker shots to the side of her head. A quick whip across to the far side saw Lacey come back, and get scooped up. She climbed to the second rope before falling backwards with a rolling fireman’s carry slam! Lacey clutched her back in pain as Lydia pulled her back to her feet from behind, firing shots into her kidneys that sent her stumbling forward in pain. As the powerhouse went to grab her in a rear waistlock though, Lacey cuaght her with a mule kick between her legs. It dropped Lydia to her knees. Lacey turned to look down at her with a smile until she heard her name called. And when she looked in that direction, Kaya Crimson had gotten back into the ring and bolted towards her with a leaping forearm attack.

Zack: Lydia may be down, but Kaya is back up and got a little something for Lacey too! What a forearm!

Lyn: We knew this was going to happen to Lacey. She’s done too much to all three competitors and Crimson nearly cleaned her clock.

She jerked Lacey to her feet, hooking her head and delivering a falcon’s arrow. She rolled her onto her back, and reached forward for a leg hook as Fisk dropped to count.

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

T-NOPE!!!

Zack: A close call for Kaya right there! You can tell she’s all about winning that shot tonight more than mere payback, though I’m sure that feels good too!

Lacey kicked out in time, and Kaya got back to her feet quickly. She dragged Lacey with her, firing her into the near corner. She was soon joined by Celeste however as the two exchanged words, and then took turns firing sharp kicks into her body one after another. They both yanked her out, and fired her across to deliver dual spinning back elbows to her head that dropped her to the mat. The two gave one another a little fist bump, and started to pull Lacey to her feet. Kaya slammed her back to the mat as Celeste headed for the corner. Crimson held Lacey’s feet as the brunette made it to the top rope. She came off with a big elbow drop that landed perfectly before Celeste went for a cover!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Zack: Big time elbow drop landed right into Lacey’s black heart, but Kaya wasn’t gonna let that count finish!

The count never finished as Kaya shoved her off the cover before it could. Celeste got back to her feet, and went nose to nose with Kaya. Crimson told her there were no hard feelings before connecting with a Stockton slap across her face that wobbled Celeste backwards. Celeste held her jaw a moment, looked back at Kaya and drove a headbutt into her face in retaliation!

Lyn: The stockton slap has its home in MMA for a multitude of reasons. It can be anything from a simple invitation to square up, to a quick strike to screw up an opponent’s equilibrium or even hell, just catch them off guard. The latter in this caes.

She shoved Kaya backwards into the ropes, causing her to rebound into a waiting Celeste who dropped her with a facebuster. The Miami beauty dragged her next to Lacey on the mat, and headed back to the top rope again. She came off with a frog splash! Lacey rolled out of the way, but Kaya didn’t when it connected. Celeste went for the cover again, hooking both legs in the process!

Zack: A gorgeous frog splash! Lacey avoided it, Kaya didn’t! Celeste is 3 second from an Aspire Ring shot!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

TH-NOPE!!

Lacey delivered a leg drop across the back of Celeste’s head, breaking the count in the process. She climbed back to her feet, clutching her back and to a chorus of boos till the fans saw the “6 String Sinner” step into place behind her.

Lyn: Lacey putting down one opponent and another crops up to meet her.

The redhead started to back up, only for Lydia to grab a handful of her hair to stop her. Lacey turned into her with a rake of the eyes, blinding her before pulling her head down into a single knee facebreaker. It dropped her to the canvas on her knees before Lacey darted for the ropes. She rebounded quickly with a running knee trembler into the side of her head. The powerhouse teetered over as Lacey extended her arms to applause from Kyle as she stood amongst her three fallen opponents.

Zack: This may not be the time for fan adulation, not that she is going to get any other than Kilmeade! Lacey is the only woman standing, but that won’t last long.

Lyn: Well, she can have this moment at least Zack.

As she basked in the disdain, Kaya rose to her feet behind her. She whistled at her as she took off towards the ropes. When Lacey looked around to see who it was, Kaya caught her with a big boot across the jaw. Crimson rebounded off the ropes once more in a rolling senton into a cover before the referee dropped to make the count.

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THRE-NOPE!!

Zack: Lacey got her jaw jacked with big boot, but managed to hold  on a little longer! These four women are looking for a quick knockout any way they can find it!

Lacey got her shoulder up in time before the three came down. Kaya glanced around quickly, grabbing the redhead and hoisting her up what appeared to be a vertical suplex. She stalled it out though, at least until Celeste speared her! Lacey landed on top of Kaya, and quickly went for a small package!

Zack: Lacey...into a small package off the spear?! Celeste is about to hand her the Ring shot! And….OH MY GOD!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THR-WAIT!

The referee never finished the count as the small package….came off the mat. Lydia hoisted both women off the canvas, and spiked them down onto the mat in an incredible display!

Lyn: She picked up that ball of human flesh and proceeded to drop them both on their heads!?

Zack: I...I have never seen anything like that in my life!

The crowd roared as Lydia welcomed them to the gun show with a biceps flex, only to be interrupted by a superkick on the chin from Celeste. It knocked the powerhouse to the mat as Celeste bolted for the corner. She ascended quickly, and launched herself into a shooting star press onto Charisma! She hooked the outside leg tightly as Fisk slid into position to make the count.

Zack: An ode to her manager with a scintillating shooting star press! CELESTE’S GOT THIS!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-WAIT!!

Celeste was jerked off the cover as Lacey grabbed her around the waist between her legs into a wheelbarrow facebuster. Kaya was also back up, grabbing Lydia into position and planting her head between her legs.

Lyn: We’ve got a double impact coming and I’m not sure who will make the count first!

Lacey pulled Celeste up, delivering a swinging reverse STO after giving her a kiss on the forehead. Kaya planted Lydia with her Gotch piledriver, and both women went for the cover!

Lyn: THROE OF PASSION! KAYA DDDRRRIIIIIVVVVAAAAHHHHH~!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-WHOA!!

The count never finished as both women looked across at one another, and delivered right hands to each other to try to break the other’s cover. It ended up sending them both off the cover as all four women lay on the mat.

Zack: Kaya and Lacey saw they were making the cover at the same time, and they both stopped it in a hurry! I don’t know who the referee was even counting!

Lyn: The world may never know, Zack. The world may never know.

Both Kaya and Lacey started back to their feet, making a beeline for one another. Right hands were thrown at a fast clip between them before Kaya caught her with a short knee. She shoved Lacey’s head between her legs as the crowd shouted her finisher name.

Zack: The fans in Phoenix know what’s coming!!

Kaya went to lift Lacey, only for the redhead to shove her off. Lacey caught her with a spinning backfist that sent her through the ropes to the floor. Celeste tried to grab the redhead from behind, only to get a stunner for her troubles. Lacey spun around, and pulled Celeste to her feet. A kiss on the forehead came prior to her swinging reverse STO! She immediately made the cover before Fisk counted.

Zack: THROE OF PASSION!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Kaya had dove back into the ring...but not quick enough. The Phoenix crowd erupted in boos as Lacey climbed back to her feet. Kyle joined her in the ring, raising her hand along with the referee.

Gaby: Here is your winner………………………..LACEY!!!!

Zack: With all the subterfuge and gamesmanship and underhanded tactics, Lacey is going onto get an Aspire Ring shot. And Phoenix is letting her know what they think of that!

Kyle opened the ropes for her as Lacey blew a kiss towards her opponents, and stepped out to the floor with a smirk on her face. He raised her hand again to more ire, further antagonizing the crowd.

Zack: That’s one down, one to go for Kyle Kilmeade tonight! This might not be the only redhead’s hand he raises in victory before the evening is through, Lyn.

Lyn: You know he’s already convinced it’ll be the case, Zack.

As they headed towards the back, the show cut to a commercial for the upcoming Fury Pay Per View.

Clips of some of Tara Cortez’s recent matches against virtual unknowns as well as some of her highlight videos featuring herself are shown before we head back to the ring. Gaby looks more than a little annoyed, knowing what’s coming.

Gaby: Ladies and gentlemen, the following….contest is an open challenge!

Zack: It’s time to find out who accepted Tara Cortez’s open challenge, if anyone. I know the requirements are really particular. Joining me is FFW Hall of Famer and possibly the next FFW Champion, Kaoru Asaka, whose partner could be Future Shock Champion again before we are done tonight. Welcome to the booth, Kaoru.

Kaoru: There’s a whole lot of hopefully in that statement, Zack. Not the least of which is hopefully Christian and Tara have found somebody to take them up on this challenge, criteria or not… or they’ll get someone chosen for them, criteria or not. I don’t take Mr. Grant as the guy to mess around when saying things like that.

The otherwise quiet intro to Family Force 5's "Drama Queen" starts on the sound system, and lights start blinking in random colos as Tara Cortez struts onto the entrance ramp, with her manager Christian Kincaid right there with her. She stops right before the descent and pulls off a short dance move, crouching down only to get back up, running her hands over her slender body and then bringing them above her head, only to then open her arms... and then wave off the booing audience. Blowing raspberries, she then starts strutting down the entrance ramp, shaking her head at the fans in attendance as she makes her way to the ring.

Gaby: Introducing first/And her opponent, escorted to the ring by Christian Kincaid... From Fort Worth, Texas... "10-STAR" TARA CORTEZ!

When Tara climbs into the ring, she makes her way to the ropes facing the hard camera, leaning onto them and posing for the audience, moving her arms much like in the same way she did earlier with her starting dance. She then waves the crowd off once again before she hops back down to the ring as Christian takes a microphone.

Zack: Maybe there is an opponent, Kaoru. Tara’s in her ring gear here. Someone might have met the prerequisites earlier in the night.

Kaoru: I’m curious to see that list of prerequisites myself, they sounded awfully specific.

Christian: A few weeks ago, I let the world know that this woman right here had an open contract for tonight. All we asked for potential opponents is they not be booked on tonight’s card, and that they be a Prospect. And for weeks, no one. No one signed the contract.

Zack: Starting to sound like we are in for another highlight video, Kaoru.

Kaoru: I mean, it IS hard to sign the contract if no one lets you get near it with a pen…

Christian: But I am a man of my word, so is Tara here. So I have had a whole new video prepared showing you her skills outside the ring, since you are familiar with them inside the ring. And this one is fifteen minutes long, so that’s a bonus and a half! So if the guys in the truck can roll that footage...

Kaoru: You know, I could do with seeing a bit more of the in-the-ring skills myself. Kind of makes being out here to call a bonus video weird too.

Voice: That won’t be necessary.

The Future Shock Director heads out onto the stage, also with a microphone in hand. Adam gets a very positive response from the crowd, though Tara looks a little annoyed.

Zack: Maybe we don’t have to watch that video after all, Kaoru. Seems the Future Shock Director himself has something...or someone to add to this.

Kaoru: They can’t say they didn’t see this coming, he told them in Vegas. I wasn’t really down for Netflix and chill anyway.

Adam: I told both of you at Breaking Point that if you didn’t find someone to take up the challenge, I might be able to do that. And I wasn’t joking. I realize she didn’t sign your contract, but Tara is on the Future Shock roster. That means I can put her into any match I want without a contract needing to be signed. And…..I have! Can I get a referee out here, please?

This draws a pop from the crowd. Referee Melinda Davis heads down the ramp towards the ring.

Kaoru: Open challenge or not, Adam’s found someone willing to take on the 10-Star Prospect, and I share the sentiment of these people in crowd tonight! Let’s see some action! I wonder who it could be?

Adam returns to the back as Gaby looks around at ringside, not knowing who was coming out at all. Tara complained to Christian, as he told her there wasn’t anything he could do. He hopped down to the floor as Tara began sharing her complaints with the referee.

Zack: Tara Cortez isn’t happy about this! She’s been facing virtual unknowns for weeks and weeks, now she will face someone actually on the Prospect roster!

Kaoru: Handpicked by the boss, too. This should be real good.

The dance beats of DJ Cutman's "I"m The Boss" blare through the sound system as lights blink in white, baby blue and purple. Skipping to the beat, Rose Gardner comes out from the back, with her arms open in an airplane-like stance before she stops right at the top of the ramp, staring into the crowd. She then makes her way down the ramp, highfiving as many fans as possible in the way. As the chorus of the music approaches, she darts to the ring and hops onto the second rope, showing off for the crowd, pointing to herself with her two thumbs as the lyrics say...

I'm the boss!
I'm the boss!
I'm very, very sorry for your loss!
I'm the boss!
I'm the boss!
And just in case I didn't get the point across
I'M THE BOSS!

Gabrielle: Introducing her opponent, from World 8-8, standing at 5'4"... POISON!!!

Poison then removes her sunglasses and throws it into the audience for some fan before hopping down to the ring and bouncing on the balls of her feet.

Kaoru: Now there’s a prospect the fans can get behind! Maybe she can’t beat herself in basketball, but she could probably beat herself in Street Fighter. Without editing. Or so Andi has told me.

Zack: It’s the cosplay princess herself! Rose Gardner fits all the criteria, and we can consider that open challenge taken!

Kaoru: And there’s only two people in the building that don’t want to see that. So sad, too bad. Let’s go!

The referee checked both women, Rose first before going to check Tara who continued to complain to her. Davis ignored her for the most part, and called for the bell to start the match. Tara continued trying to discuss this with the referee as Rose sat on the middle rope, shaking her head before she finally got tired of waiting. She tried to get Tara’s attention, only for Cortez to turn and shove her down onto the mat before turning back to the referee. Rose sat there for a second, and hopped back to her feet.

Zack: The bell has already rang, Tara. I’m not sure what she thinks the referee can do about it at this point. And--ohh, I wouldn’t have done that.

Kaoru: It’s like trying to shove toothpaste back in the tube, you’re just going to make more of a mess that way, Tara. Rose is ready to go and it’s too late to stop this thing now, unless Cortez just wants to give up? Not sure that’s the look Christian likes on his clients. Oh, she might not get a choice! Look out!

Rose immediately grabs Tara from behind in a rear waistlock, and snaps off a German suplex into a pin attempt! Davis immediately drops to count!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THRE-NOOO!!

Zack: It was almost over right there! Tara’s beside herself, but Rose isn’t!

Tara got her shoulder up, and rolled back to her feet with an exasperated look on her face. Rose nipped up, and took off towards her. She began unloading big right hands one after another before she fired Tara across for the ride. As she rebounded, Rose left her feet with a hurricanrana into a leg hook for another pin attempt!

Kaoru: All she needed was a push, and she’s off like a rocket! Look at her go right after it!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THRE-NOOOOOOOO!!!

Tara managed to kick out before the three, and Rose immediately got back to her feet. The cosplayer pulled her back to her feet, only to get an eye rake from Tara. It blinded her long enough for Cortez to grab her head, and drive her into the mat with a bulldog. She sat up with a very angry look on her face as Christian tried to tell her she was in control.

Kaoru: The great equalizer. Nothing will kill your momentum faster than a finger in your eye, and Tara has finally stopped Rose from running her over. I wonder if those first few seconds were Poison’s tribute to Punch-Out.

Zack: Kincaid’s trying to calm her down, and remind her she’s in control for the moment.

Tara jerked Rose up by two handfuls of hair before driving her knee repeatedly into her face. She cradled Rose’s head, driving fists into her face before she whips her across for the ride. Cortez backs up against the ropes as Rose rebounds towards her, ducking her head and using a back body drop to send her over the top rope! But Rose lands on her feet on the apron as Tara walks away with her back to her, dusting her hands as Christian tries to get her attention to look behind her!

Kaoru: Never assume she went where you think, kid, that’s a rookie mistake!

Rose hopped up onto the top rope into a springboard as Tara turned around, only to get caught with a suicide sunset flip powerbomb! Rose rolled through for the cover with a hook of both legs.

Zack: That’s SUPER EFFECTIVE!! I think Tara’s done right here!!

ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE???

As Davis’ hand was coming down for three, Executive Assistant Brianna Singer pulled her out of the ring. The redhead informed her she was the referee for Rose’s matches, and ordered the official to leave. Meanwhile, Rose still had the cover!

Kaoru: What the-? What the hell is Brianna Singer doing out here? Gardner has Tara Cortez beat! She’s got her pinned and there’s no ref! Or there is and… Zack, I’m confused!

Zack: Singer has been the referee for Rose’s matches for some time now, and she’s not happy someone else is calling this one! Davis is being sent to the back, and I guess Bri’s taking over as the official.

Kaoru: She picked a hell of a time to decide to make a switch!

Rose shoved Tara away as she got to her feet, watching as Bri made her way slowly through the ropes. The cosplayer told her she had Tara pinned, to which Bri said she didn’t care. The redhead then pointed to the video wall with a smile, where we now see a shot backstage of someone dressed like Captain America being taken out of the building in handcuffs.

Zack: That must be Rose’s boyfriend! Brianna finally caught him before he came out, and it looks like he’s being arrested!

Kaoru:  Arrested?! For what?! He’s probably a Plus One anyway! This is just ludicrous, and it reeks of dubious planning.

As this went on, Christian reached into the ring and pulled Tara out by her arm and leg towards him. He dragged her outside to the floor, and laid her down on it before she rolled under the ring apron. As soon as she did, she also rolled out on the other side. Cortez dove into the ring as Rose stared at the video wall. The “10 Star” Prospect took off towards her, catching her with a chop block that brought her to all fours. She bounced off the near side, and connected with a curb stomp!

Zack: Wait...did you see that?!

Kaoru: I saw Tara take a moment to get her wind back while Rose was being made to watch this, and boy did she ever!

Cortez darted for the ropes, using them to land a slingshot corkscrew Arabian press into the cover. Christian pushed someone’s boot under the apron with his hand as Bri dropped to make the cover!

Zack: That’s the C-BOMB!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Bri called for the bell as the “10 Star” Prospect nipped up to her feet, barely a hair out of place as she had her hand raised to a din of boos.

Kaoru: She doesn’t even look like she broke a sweat! Which is amazing to me considering she looked real nervous for about 90% of this match! Is there some miracle vitamin water under the ring or something?

Gaby: Here is your winner by pinfall….ugh……’10 STAR’ TARA CORTEZ!!

Zack: Tara Cortez has won this match, but…..I want to see a replay of this!

The show cuts to instant replay as Tara celebrates in the ring with her manager. On the replay, we see Christian sliding Tara under the ring on one side and her dart out on the other side. Then the chop block, the curb stomp, and her finisher again before we cut back to live action. Christian raises her hand in victory as Tara looks fresh as a daisy with perfect makeup.

Kaoru: I’m not an expert in time and space like my partner, Zack… but I’m not really sure what I’ve just seen is physically possible. Unless Tara really is that amazing that she can recover and move under a ring that fast. We’ve been told she is, she won tonight in… unbelievable fashion? But, uhh… as someone who’s seen a lot of matches Zack, surely you have an expert opinion?

Zack: Yeah, I think someone’s running a con game here. And wait….Bri’s giving Rose what for and she’s not even aware of what happened other than watching her boyfriend get arrested.

The redhead pointed her finger in Rose’s face, though the brunette was still dazed. And a slap across the face followed that before the Executive Assistant stepped out through the ropes to the floor.

Kaoru:  Way to add some injury to insult… and possible other injury. That C-Bomb didn’t look too pleasant. The move and the- *ahem* - never mind. Hopefully Rose can sort this out.

As Christian and Tara exited the ring, the show heads elsewhere in the Talking Stick Resort Arena.

A quick highlight video shows the history between Elizabeth Lannister and Bianca Reed from their first match, and then her involvement in Bianca’s match with Mila Martin. We cut back to the live show with Gaby standing in the ring.

Gaby: The following contest is a triple threat match for the Aspire Ring!

Zack: Talk about a pick’em, Lyn. This is it! We’ve seen all three of these women take one or the other to the limit and back. But if you’re Bianca, this match is crucial.

Lyn: One final defense. One final defense is all she needs, Zack. All she could want really in this situation.

As Survivor by Destiny’s Child starts to play around the arena, Midnight walks out in her ring gear of black combat style shorts, matching black cut off tank top, black boots and a short black jacket. She stops at the top of the ramp, nodding her head a bit as the verse plays. As the chorus begins, white pyrotechnics erupt at the side of her. While the chorus plays, Midnight makes her way down the ramp, tagging the hands of the fans along the way.

I'm a survivor (what?)
I'm not gon' give up (what?)
I'm not gon' stop (what?)
I'm gon' work harder (what?)
I'm a survivor (what?)
I'm gonna make it (what?)
I will survive (what?)
Keep on survivin'(what?)

Gaby: Introducing at this time, hailing from London, England……”MIDNIGHT” MILA MARTIN!

As the chorus ends and Midnight reaches the bottom of the ramp, she speeds up and runs the rest of the way to the ring, then jumps straight up onto the apron. Holding onto the top rope she looks out to the crowd and raises her hand fist pumping and hyping the crowd up. She climbs into the ring as the music ends and heads to her corner, taking off her jacket and getting ready for the match.

Zack: Mila is definitely the wild card in this match. She’s been extremely impressive in her recent outings, but she hasn’t picked up that first win. No better place to do it than tonight, Lyn.

Lyn: A doozy of a win, scalping the Aspire Ring and beating two impressive wrestlers in one go.

As the fans sit in their seats in anticipation of what is to come, they are greeted by the somewhat subtle opening riff of ‘Massive Addictive’ by Amaranthe. A few seconds pass before the son kicks into full gear, thus signaling the arrival of Elizabeth Lannister from behind the curtains and out onto the stage. She pauses for a second to look to her left and to her right at the fans, who are voicing their displeasure upon the sight of the SSWA star. She simple shakes her head and begins to head down the ramp towards the ring, her crimson and gold robe flowing about with every step.

Gaby: Ladies and gentlemen, making her way to the ring…..from Scottsdale, Arizona…’THE LIONESS’ ELIZABETH LANNISTER!!

Once she reaches the ring, she climbs up the steel steps and onto the apron, stepping through the bottom and middle ropes. Once she is inside the ring, she flips her hair over her shoulders and sticks her arms out to the sides and slowly spins around, a confident smirk etched on her angelic features. Once she finishes her spin, she unclasps her robe and shrugs it off, handing it to a stagehand as she moves her arms back and forth to loosen up as the music begins to fade out.

Zack: In Sydney, it was Elizabeth Lannister who defeated Bianca Reed to earn her shot tonight. She tried to keep Mila out of the match when she received her shot, and that definitely backfired.

Lyn: Now whether it be a shroud of red for her opponents or gold for herself, Lannister will be showing her claws.

I told ya, baby
Uh-oh
I told ya

The arena darkens as “Rockstar 101” by Rihanna begins to play before the camera takes us behind a woman with purple hair. She steps out onto the stage, raising her hand and making a fist as the camera looks over her shoulder. She tosses her sunglasses on her head out to the crowd as she heads towards the ring.

Rocking these diamonds
I'm rocking this chain
Make sure you get a picture
I'm rocking my fame

Gaby: Introducing from Atlanta, Georgia, she is the reigning and defending Aspire Ring bear!  This is the Princess of the Reed family………’KILLER B’ BIANCA REED!!!!

Bianca climbs up onto the apron, drops into a split before sliding under the bottom rope to the inside. She brings her legs together and hops to her feet, already making eye contact with her opponent and running them down verbally while her music fades and before the bell even rings.

Zack: Bianca Reed is so close to earning herself a Future Shock Championship match that she can taste it! And she’s only one match from doing it, but this will definitely be her toughest defense by far.

Lyn: It may be but it’ll be made all the sweeter if she’s victorious tonight.

Referee Melinda Davis takes the Aspire Ring from Bianca, and shows it to Elizabeth and Mila before placing it into her pocket. She calls for the bell as all three women look across at one another until Bianca and Mila make eye contact. Reed tells her they both owe Elizabeth a beatdown, to which Mila agrees as they start towards the Lioness to the delight of the crowd. Elizabeth stays near the ropes as the two close in, with Mila lunging to grab her before Elizabeth steps through the ropes. Bianca surprises Mila from behind with a rollup that sends Daivs immediately to the canvas!

ONE!!

T-NOPE!!

Zack: In the words of Admiral Ackbar, it’s a trap! Bianca almost won her defense in record time!

Lyn: You gotta have eyes in the back of your head in these situations.

Mila kicks out immediately after one, and gets back to her feet. She looks back at Bianca, who shrugs her shoulders...and catches a right cross from Mila to the mouth. The former military officer unloads with repeated shots, driving Bianca back into the ropes. Reed manages to deflect most of them by getting her hands up until she finds an opening, and the two start trading shots with one another. A headbutt from Bianca breaks up the fisticuffs before she pulls Mila’s head down, and drives a series of knees into her face. A quick shove back into the corner follows as Reed grabs the top rope, and connects with a series of sidekicks into her body before leaving her feet to catch her with one on the side of the head. Martin collapses to the mat. The Aspire Ring bearer looks as though she’s about to grab Mila before she notices Elizabeth propped up against the opposite corner.

Lyn: Those kicks were absolutely nasty, and then a big time enzuigiri to top it all off. Looks like Reed has had enough of Mila and wants her some of the Lioness.

Zack: She hasn’t forgotten what happened when they met in Sydney, much less how she got involved in her match with Mila!

Reed makes a beeline for her, continuously talking trash to her as Elizabeth merely watches her with a dismissive look on her face. But as soon as Bianca goes towards her, a running high knee to the back sends her into the corner (and Elizabeth darting out of it). She hits chest first before Mila grabs her head, and starts driving it repeatedly into the turnbuckle. Bianca staggers a moment before “Midnight” snatches her into a rear waistlock, and sends her flying with a release German suplex. The Princess of House Reed starts to get up, only to get hooked again and lobbed with a belly to belly overhead suplex. Reed rolls out to the apron, only for Mila to grab her head and pull her through the ropes with her feet dangling into a hangman’s DDT and a cover to follow!

Zack: Mila’s picked up some new offense since the last time we saw her, and Bianca’s been drilled!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOO!!

NOPE!!!

Bianca kicked out at two before Mila drove an elbow into the top of her head. She pulled her back to her feet, scooped her up and sent her down with a Samoan drop.

Lyn: Big time Samoan drop and Mila isn’t the only one it looks like!

Martin got back to her feet, driving a trio of knees into Bianca’s head before she pulled her back to her feet. She started to go for her Unprettier, only for Bianca to shove her off into the ropes. Martin stumbled forward, trying to catch her balance before she hit the ropes and Elizabeth used a back body drop to send her on over to the floor. And as Bianca raised her head to see where Mila was, she caught a roundhouse kick to the mouth from Elizabeth. It dropped her where she stood, while Lannister looked quite pleased with herself.

Zack: They got so wrapped up in going after each other, Lyn, that they left Elizabeth hanging out all this time. And that’s what happens when you leave someone that dangerous to linger.

Lyn: Time to rest, time to relax, time to plan. These are all the things Elizabeth Lannister becomes dangerous with!

Lannister took off towards the ropes, using them for a springboard into an Asai moonsault that landed perfectly on Bianca. She hooked the outside leg in the process as Davis dropped to count.

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Zack: A picture perfect moonsault wasn’t enough to get Lannister what she wanted, and Bianca’s been taking it from everyone in this match so far.

Lyn: I’ll be honest with you Zack, even if Elizabeth Lannister was given everything she ever wanted I don’t think she’d be satisfied. Kickout by the Princess of House Reed!

Reed kicked out at two again. Lannister got back to her feet, pulling the Ring bearer with her. She shoved her back into the corner, and showed off her flexibility as she pressed a foot against her throat in a choke as she held the top rope. Davis counted to four before she put her foot back on the canvas. As she was admonished by the referee, Elizabeth leaned back against Bianca with a smile, raised her arms, and began unloading back elbows to both sides of her head rapidly. She finally stepped aside as Bianca stumbled out of the corner. The “Lioness” headed to the middle turnbuckle from the inside, waiting on her to turn before connecting with a meteora! She landed on top of her, and hooked a leg for the cover in the process.

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

NOPE!!

Lyn: GOOD GOD WHAT A METEORA! A lioness is out for blood.

Another kick out from Bianca sent Elizabeth off the cover. Reed started to roll away from her towards the ropes. As Lannister went to get her, Bianca rolled out to the floor. The “Lioness” noticed Mila on her feet on the outside, and a devilish grin crossed her face. She took off for the far side, and came back with a baseball slide aimed for Mila. But “Midnight” pulled out the apron, and Lannister slid right into it. Mila and Bianca looked at one another for a brief second, and they both began to unload on the trapped blonde to a roar from the crowd!

Zack: Welcome to Genesis, Elizabeth!

Lyn: And on this day, Mila Martin and Bianca Reed would find out if a Lannister really does shit gold.

Each of them took turns firing shots at her head, causing it to bounce off the ropes for another shot one after another. Bianca pulled the apron down long enough to let her fall to the floor over it. The pair scooped her up together, and delivered a dual atomic drop that sent her to her knees. Mila and Bianca lined up as she got up, and took off past her for a double running bulldog with each grabbing a handful of hair on the way down. Lannister’s face hit the floor before Bianca pulled her back up, and tossed her under the bottom rope. The pair climbed up on the apron, and stepped through to go after her. Lannister started to her feet as Mila darted towards her, only for the blonde to counter by scooping her and falling backwards with a stun gun across the top rope. The “Lioness” dropped her knees to recover as Mila clutched her throat coughing until Bianca delivered a stunner as she walked into her! She immediately went for the cover as Davis dropped to count.

Lyn: Not a cracker jacker but it’ll do the job! Martin’s down from the stun gun and here’s the cover!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEE-WHOOAAAAAAAA!!!

She was pulled off the cover by her feet by Elizabeth, who was back up now. Reed got to her feet, and laid into her with a knife edge chop across her chest. She whipped her across for the ride, sending Elizabeth into a rebound off the far side just as Bianca left her feet for a Thesz press! Furious right hands brought the crowd to its feet as she popped up, shaking her head and talking trash.

Zack: Bianca Reed is all kinds of fired up, and I think she just told Elizabeth she’s the HBIC of this match! And right now, I believe her!

Lyn: She’ll make a believer out of Elizabeth or kill her trying!

Mila started to rise to her feet as Bianca bolted towards the ropes again, using them for a springboard into a flying forearm that took the former military officer down. She quickly rolled to her feet, seeing Lannister starting to get up now. She fired the blonde across for the ride, and popped her into the air and right back down into a jawbreaker that dropped her! Reed went for the cover immediately as Davis slid into position.

Zack: Good Lord, I’ve never seen a pop up jawbreaker! Reed’s getting a title shot!!

Lyn: THERE’S THE COVER!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NOPE!!

Elizabeth pulled her off the cover. And as Reed got to her feet to deal with her, Lannister caught her head and delivered her jumping swinging DDT! She immediately went for the cover.

Zack: Lannister with the RAINS OF CASTAMERE! Reed never saw it coming!! No title shot for Bianca!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-WAIT!!

Lyn: No striking midnight QUITE yet!

The referee’s hand never hit the mat for three as Mila caught Davis’ wrist on the way down, stopping her from making it. Elizabeth’s eyes widened as she looked across at Mila. Both women got back to their feet, as Mila’s mouth looked to be bleeding when she told her to come at her. The crowd came to their feet again as the two went straight at each other, and started throwing hands again!

Zack: Listen to’em! Mila and Elizabeth are throwing bombs, and there’s a lot of payback after Lannister ruined Mila’s shot at the Ring!

Lyn: Martin is out for blood! Figuratively and literally!

Mila began to get the better of the exchange, backing Elizabeth up a few steps. She fired her across to the far side, causing Elizabeth to go for a clothesline on the rebound. But Mila ducked, caught her arm, and then her other arm before turning inwards into her Unprettier! Martin immediately rolled her over, and went for a cover!

Zack: There’s the VEDETTE!! Now Midnight is about to strike on the Lioness!!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NOPE.

Elizabeth was yanked out from under Mila by her feet, thanks to Bianca. “Midnight” rose, and darted towards Bianca. Reed caught her coming in with a boot to the face, and immediately bolted towards the corner to head to the top rope. With both women down, Bianca shouted at someone to get up!

Lyn: She’s asking for either of them... Either of them to catch one!

It was Elizabeth who rose first, staggering a bit before she turned in the right direction for Bianca to land her corkscrew stunner! The crowd erupted as she made the cover!

Lyn: C-C-CRACKER JACKER!!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

Davis called for the bell to a pop as Bianca sat up on her knees, and shouted in jubilation. The referee raised her hand in victory as she got to her feet, and was handed the Aspire Ring.

Gaby: Here is your winner...AND STIIIIIIIIILLLLLL Aspire Ring bearer…….’KILLER B’ BIANCA REED!!!!

Zack: Three in a row, and the PRINCESS OF HOUSE REED has a title shot if she wants it! Bianca has become the third woman to earn herself a Future Shock Championship match by way of the Aspire Ring!

Lyn: That may be true but will she actually go that route, or go for five?!

Bianca headed for the corner, climbing up and showing her hand with the Aspire Ring now firmly back in place on her finger. She looked down at her waist, and ran her hands along it to make it clear what she was after. She also looked up to the FFW banner hanging over the ring.

Zack: Bianca’s got a decision to make! It may be the most important of her career, what’s it gonna be, Bianca!?

As she continued to celebrate in the ring, we cut to a commercial for the next Future Shock Pay Per View, Anarchy!

10 Star Performance

The show heads to the back into one of the locker rooms, and there we find the “10 Star Prospect” along with her manager. Christian looks very pleased as he sits on the bench next to her  when Sara makes her way inside.

Christian: Sara, good to see you! You’ve come to get the story of the biggest win in Future Shock. No one has ever had to face an unknown opponent on a Future Shock Pay Per View like this woman right here. And more importantly, no one has EVER faced and defeated an unknown opponent like this woman right here. I’ve been telling you for a long time how good she is. So has Tara, and tonight it’s been proven yet again!

He gives her a quick shoulder rub with a smile before he continues.

Christian: And before you even ask, we had nothing to do with whatever is going on with Brianna Singer and Rose. But the result was going to be the same regardless of who was the referee.

Tara: I mean… Was there ever any doubt? We have been saying over and over and over again, and people don’t seem to listen - I’m twice as good as your favorite wrestler. And I proved that tonight by defeating Rose Gardner without breaking a sweat, or even messing my hair! How’s that even possible? Oh, I know how: being the ultimate prodigy that I am!

Tara flashes a million-Dollar smile as she fiddles with her hair in a way Scarlett Silver could sue for copyright infringement.

Tara: Sssssooooo… I don’t think there should be any, but for the sake of it, any questions?

Sara: Yes, actually. We saw you slide under the ring and come out on the other side in no time flat looking totally rejuvenated. Can you explain how that happened?

Christian: Let me ask you something, Sara. You ever read comics? You know how Wolverine has that mutant healing factor? Well...Tara’s no mutant obviously. But just like her in-ring skills, her talent…..her body works twice as well as anyone else. She has super fast recuperative abilities, it’s one of the things that really made her stand out to me when I discovered her. What you saw was that in effect, and it’s just a part of the amazing package that is Tara Cortez. These people may not appreciate her, but that’s alright. She doesn’t need their support to continue being twice as good as anyone they can put in the ring against her.

Tara, on the other hand, waves the entire thing off.

Tara: See, when you’re as good as I am, you don’t sweat the details. So instead of worrying about what happens when I’m on top of or under the ring when I’m not winning, do focus on… you know… ME WINNING. And, believe me, you’re gonna have plenty to work with when you set your sights on that.

Christian: You know, Sara, if you’re not here to congratulate Tara, I’m sure there are other things you can be doing instead. The takeaway that matters is Tara Cortez proved that it doesn’t matter who is standing across the ring. She is and has always been twice as good.

He waved his fingers towards the door, causing Sara to finally exit with a skeptical expression on her face. From there, we head back to the ring.

The history between Gillie Barnes and Valerie McKinley is shown before we cut back to the ring with Gaby awaiting, microphone in hand.

Gaby: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and the winner will be the #1 contender to the Future Shock Championship!

Zack: This one’s been a long time coming, as far as I’m concerned. Either Andi Takata or Harley Shannon will know who awaits them when this is over. Joining me is a regular for Gillie’s matches on Future Shock events, Missy. Who are you predicting to take it all?

Missy: Thanks for having me again, Zack. I would like to think that Gillie will be the number one contender after tonight is through, but something just won’t let me discount Valerie, partly because of her own skills and mostly because of that manager of hers.

“Let's take you back to the concrete streets!
Original beats with real live mc's!
Playground tactics!
No rabbit in a hat tricks!”

Gaby: Introducing first from Sheerness, England... “OLD SCHOOL” GILLIE BARNES!!

Gillie comes out to no music behind her, but that’s because she comes with an old school looking boombox i.e. ghetto blaster on her left shoulder as well as her ring gear and a large piece of cardboard in her right hand. The boombox plays a loud rendition of “Concrete Schoolyard” by Jurassic 5 as she continues walking down the ramp. Gillie puts down the cardboard and the boombox before doing a backspin dance move on the cardboard. With a grin she kips up and rolls into the ring to the warm reaction of the crowd. She hangs on the ropes as she waves before doing some last moment stretches.

Zack: Gillie Barnes could be just one match away from facing the Future Shock Champion. She looks ready, but she might should have brought a friend to ringside because if ever Kyle Kilmeade had reason to get hands on during a match...this is that match.

Missy: I think Gillie really should have brought someone out with her, just to keep an eye on Kyle. It’s not like Gillie needs any help inside the ring, she is more than talented enough to win on her own merits. I’d love to see her as Future Shock Champion one day, not gonna lie.

The lights in the arena sharply cut off, leaving everything in complete darkness. The chiming of a clock is heard echoing in the darkness, followed by a chipper, circus like chime tone. As the tone chimes on, a vibrant gold spotlight shines down on the top of the stage. The circus chimes are soon replaced by the opening chorus of “Villain” by Wild Fire.

"Tic tic toc, the time bomb clock
Ticks grinning ear to ear here baby
Tic Tic Toc, the time bomb clock
ticks counting down...
tic, tic stop!"

At the exact moment “stop” is sung, the song kicks into full gear, setting off a series of shimmering gold strobe lights going off on either side of the ramp. A few seconds pass before the controversial redhead, Valerie McKinley makes her way out from behind the curtain and stands in the immediate center of the stage, standing in the gold spotlight. Coming out behind her and standing next to her was her manager, one Kyle Kilmeade.

"You know I speak in riddles,
And I’m plotting to destroy
Villain as I always was
Crazy is as crazy does"

Clad in a mid-thigh length leather jacket worn open over her gear, Valerie looks around at the crowd showering her with a rousing chorus of boos. She looks over at Kyle and the pair simply shake their heads. The strobe lights begin to lessen in intensity as the pair makes their way down the aisle, her arms at her side and a focused look on her face. As she makes her way to the ring, the fans on either side of the aisle make their displeasure at her appearance rather noticeable, which Valerie simply dismisses with an arrogant flip of her hand.

"My sanity's in short supply
Mad as a hatter, hey surprise!
T-T-T-Ticking bomb on the inside
Livin' with the villain pacing in my mind."

Gaby: Ladies and gentlemen, making her way down to the ring, being accompanied by Kyle Kilmeade…..from Providence, Rhode Island…….Valerie McKinley!!

The boos grow louder as Kyle hops up onto the apron and climbs into the ring. Valerie hops up onto the apron and spins around so her back is resting on the ropes. With her head bowed, she lifts both arms up towards her head and has her pointer finger and thumb on both hands close to her head. She lifts her head up and extends her arms out, her fingers pointing out at the crowd like pistols. She then makes a motion like she was firing her finger guns at the crowd before turning around to see Kyle already holding the ropes open for her. She steps through the open ropes and into the ring.

"I'm blowing up the mystery
And all the pretty things you see
Light flame to fuse
And Sparks will fly
You said goodnight
Now say goodbye."

Once in the ring, she walks around with her arms extended outward, reveling in the heat from the crowd. She walks over to the corner and peels off her jacket, letting it drop to the apron as the lights return to normal and her music fades out. She rests her back against the turnbuckles and brushes a few stray strands of hair out of her face, awaiting the start of the action.

Zack: Valerie McKinley is many things, and not short of confidence is one of them. The 1 Percenter has one of the best records in Future Shock, and the only blemish is the woman she’s facing tonight.

Missy: There’s no doubt at all that Valerie McKinley is talented, but for me a lot of her success in Future Shock is tarnished by her manager. But I guess it’s no secret my thoughts on him by now.

Referee Angela Keanan checks both women, finding nothing inappropriate and calls for the bell to start the match. The Phoenix crowd is decidedly pro-Gillie as it brings a smile to her face. She moves toward the center of the ring, and offers Valerie a handshake to start the match. The redhead joins her in the center, looking down at her hand before starting to reach out and take it. But that soon turns into an open hand slap across the face.

Zack: Oh my God….

Missy: One of the oldest tricks in the book.. Doesn’t make it any less effective, though it’s usually most effective at pissing off your opponent.

Gillie rubs her jaw, and her face goes from calm...to angry in a heartbeat. She turns back, and nails Valerie with a right cross to the mouth and begins firing more shots after that. Each shot drives her backwards a step each time before she’s in the ropes. The redhead covers up, deflecting a lot of Gillie’s shots before she ends up getting a knee to the abdomen. Gillie fires in two more before she whips her across for the ride. Valerie rebounds off the far side, only for Gilie to scoop her up and launch her with a fallaway slam. The look on her face shows her anger as she gets back to her feet, while Valerie does the same near the ropes. But she doesn’t stay up long before a clothesline from Gillie sends her over the top rope to the floor.

Zack: I’ve never seen a slap to the face work in the favor of the person giving it, and tonight won’t be the exception! Gillie’s cleared the ring, and what’s more...she’s fired up already!

Missy: A fired up Gillie is the best Gillie! Valerie should really have seen that coming after giving her that slap.

Kyle goes to check on Valerie as Gillie rolls out around the corner to go get her. The redhead starts to get up on, only for Gillie to grab her arm and mow her down with a short arm clothesline. The look of anger still etched on her face, she grabbed Valerie into a waistlock and launched her with a belly to belly overhead suplex that sent the 1 Percenter into the barricade before she hit the floor. The referee continued counting as Kyle got into the face of the Sheerness native, talking trash before Gillie grabbed him by the shirt to the delight of the crowd. Meanwhile, Valerie had went around the corner and crawled into the ring while the referee was up to seven counting an irate Gillie out on the floor.

Zack: Kyle may be about to get his clock cleaned, but Gillie’s about a three count from losing by countout. Valerie’s back in, and I’m not sure Gillie’s even paying attention to the referee.

Missy: As satisfying as it would be to see Gillie knock a couple of Kyle’s teeth out, she needs to get her focus back and hotfoot it back into the ring! Sharpish!

As Keanan got to eight in her count, Gillie glanced up and let Kyle go. She bolted back to the apron, hopped up and was halfway stepping through the ropes before Valerie kicked the middle rope between her legs. The brunette collapsed to her knees on the canvas as Valerie pulled her head up, and fired forearm shots across her face. Five in a row connected before the redhead raked Gillie’s eyes across her boot laces. With the brunette blinded on her knees, Valerie caught her with a shining wizard to the back of the head. Gillie faceplanted down on the mat as Valerie rolled her over, and planted her foot on her as though she had conquered her. She then snapped at the referee to count, which Keanan dropped to do.

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Valerie got her foot shoved off before the redhead followed up with an elbow drop to Gille’s chest.

Missy: That distraction by Kyle worked exactly as he was hoping I’m betting. Gillie got back into the ring in the nick of time, but Valerie had already had time to recover, which is not a good thing for Gillie.

Zack: She couldn’t have possibly believed a foot on the chest was going to be enough to pin “Old School” tonight...or any night really.

Valerie moved around behind Gillie as she started to get up, and immediately ran past her with a bulldog to the mat. She slid towards her, cradling her head before unleashing a volley of fists into her face. Barnes managed to shove her off finally, and roll away. With the help of the ropes, she got to her feet as McKinley circled around behind her and dropped her with a Russian leg sweep before floating over into another cover. Keanan dropped to count it.

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Once more, Barnes got her shoulder up. Valerie got back to her feet, listening to the ire of the Phoenix crowd before bowing deeply with her arm outstretched as if she were royalty before them.

Missy: I don’t know what she’s bowing for, a two count is not a win and Gillie is just showing that it is going to take a hell of a lot more than what Valerie has dished out so far, to be able to win this one.

Zack: She doesn’t have to do any of this to make the crowd in Phoenix like her less. I’m not sure they could dislike her more at this point. But she needs to stay on her.

Valerie turned back around and leaned down to grab Gillie, but the brunette surprised her with a headbutt to the stomach. That started bringing the crowd behind her again as she caught Valerie with an uppercut to the chin. It rocked the redhead backwards as Gillie got back to her feet, nodding her head to the crowd before she charged towards Valerie. McKinley dove out of the way as Kyle pulled the top rope down, causing Barnes to tumble over the top rope to the floor.

Zack: Right back to the floor for “Old School”, though it’s under entirely different circumstances right now. Gillie was getting a head of steam, and there it went.

Missy: Somebody should tie Kyle’s bloody hands behind his back, it might stop him from touching the ropes that way! Or even better, just smack him and knock him out, that works too.

Valerie remained in the ring, casting a smile towards her manager as the referee admonished him. Kyle told her he was just climbing up to ask a question, while Gillie pulled herself to her feet. She climbed back onto the apron as Kyle moved around behind her. She immediately turned her attention towards him as he held his hands up, and Valerie caught her from behind with a running high knee to the back that hurtled her to the floor as Kyle moved out of the way.

Missy: Maybe Gillie should have temporarily hired Christian for the night, he would have totally caught her there. He’s good at that!

Zack: Kyle didn’t touch her at all, but Gillie wasn’t going to keep her back to him either. And it cost her. This is essentially a handicap match right now.

Valerie rolled out after her this time, pulling her up by the hair and dragging her back to the ring. She smacked her head off the apron three times before she fired Gillie across into the ring post. Barnes landed back first with a grimace of pain before Valerie measured and fired a roundhouse kick right at her head. But the brunette ducked, and Valerie’s foot struck the post instead. Her mouth fell open in pain before she collapsed to the floor. Gillie stumbled and leaned against the apron, trying to get her bearings as Valerie held her foot in pain.

Zack: That would have been a knockout shot if it connected, but it didn’t! Valerie delivered a roundhouse kick to the post, and the post didn’t budge!

Missy: Excellent reflexes from Gillie, that would have needed quite a few painkillers for the resulting headache if it had connected. I can’t bring myself to feel sorry for Valerie though.

Gillie pulled her opponent up, and threw her back into the ring under the bottom rope. She joined her and got down on all fours. When Valerie started to rise, Gillie scampered across like a dog and nailed her with a headbutt. McKinley rolled away and tried to get up again, only to eat another headbutt from Gillie on all fours. The crowd was getting into it as was Gillie, who wagged her backside a little and lifted a leg on Valerie before she got back to her feet.

Missy: Those headbutts are certainly slowing Valerie down, but as fun as they are to watch I don’t think they’ll win the match for Gillie. But did I mention how fun they are to watch?

Gillie climbed back to her feet as Valerie was doing the same. The redhead was certainly lethargic as she turned towards Gillie, who began to deliver a series of big right hands to the head. Each shot wobbled Valerie in place. The punches picked up in speed before Gillie rolled her hands, leaned back, and dropped her with a bionic elbow to the head. McKinley collapsed to a seat on the mat before Barnes took off for the far side. She rebounded quickly into a basement dropkick to Valerie’s chest, and immediately went for the cover.

Zack: A little flip, flop, and fly with that bionic elbow! And Gillie’s feeling it now! There’s the cover!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THRE-NOPE!!

Valerie’s shoulder popped up prior to the three. Gillie hopped back to her feet, and headed for the corner. She crouched and waved for McKinley to get back to her feet.

Missy: I really thought that Gillie was going to get the three then, but no matter, she’s not letting it get to her. She still has plenty left to give to Valerie just look how she’s inviting her back up.

Valerie started to get up as Gillie got into a three point stance, and darted out of the corner with a shoulder tackle that flipped her opponent up and over to the mat. Barnes pounded the mat with both fists, inciting the crowd behind her again before she scooped Valerie up onto her shoulders. An airplane spin followed that as the crowd counted how many revolutions she had. After twelve of them, Gillie dropped Valerie to the mat...and then fell onto it herself extremely dizzy.

Missy: That’s the problem with moves like that, Gillie has got Valerie dizzy, but herself too in the process. If she can pull herself together quickly enough Gillie could really capitalise here.

Zack: Gillie loves that airplane spin, but it doesn’t feel the same way about her. She looks like she’s seeing four of everything right now. And...this isn’t a good idea!

Gillie shook her head, and started crawling towards the corner. She used the turnbuckles to pull herself up, and began to climb to the top rope. Her equilibrium wasn’t working too well though, causing her to lose her footing more than once before she finally perched herself on the top rope.

Zack: On the top rope is not the place Gillie needs to be right now. She’s still not gotten her bearings yet!

Missy: That is a really dangerous combination, I just hope it doesn’t come back to bite her. If I was her I would have maybe just tried the cover as it was.

Barnes rose to a stance, slapped her forehead and came off the top rope with a diving headbutt. It never connected though as Kyle reached into the ring, and pulled Valerie towards the apron as Barnes’ head crashed into the canvas. He immediately began imploring her to make the cover, and McKinley started to move in that direction before draping an arm over her chest.

Missy: Oh for heaven’s sake, will somebody just do everyone a favour and get rid of Kyle? Gillie was on target to actually pull that off then, despite being dizzy!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NOPE!

Gillie’s arm came up at the last second, and Valerie looked up to the referee with a look of hope till she only saw two fingers instead of three. Kyle told her to end it. As Valerie started back to her feet, the crowd began to cheer….but it wasn’t for her. Celeste headed down the aisle, and Kyle immediately went around the corner with her walking after him all the way up the ramp to the back.

Zack: Gillie got her shoulder up just in the nick of time, and it looks like Kyle won’t be a factor now! He got in Celeste’s business during the fatal four way, and she has a long memory!

Missy: I put in a request for heaven’s sake and a celestial body appears… almost makes me want to start praying more often!

Valerie looked a little put out at the sight of her manager being chased out of the arena, and turned back to Gillie with a severe look on her face. She pulled the brunette up, and fired her into the corner. Gillie hit chest first, and Valerie went for a splash to her back. But Barnes moved out of the way, and she caught the turnbuckles instead! Gillie slid along the ropes, trying to stay vertical as Valerie was trying to pull herself together in the corner. She finally turned back around as Valerie was coming up from behind, catching her with a kick in the ribs and then planting her head between her legs with a nod.

Zack: She’s going for that spinning powerbomb, she’s never hit it once in all the time she’s been in Future Shock! Maybe tonight’s the night!

Missy: If she hits this she is putting herself in a great position to take the number one contendership. Come on, Gillie! You can do it!!

She hoisted Valerie up onto her shoulders, but the redhead grabbed the top rope behind her. Barnes tried to bring her down, but McKinley had a death grip with both hands. She let go with one hand to drive her thumb into Gillie’s eye, giving her a chance to land on her feet in front of her. With Gillie blinded, Valerie connected with a double knee facebreaker that flipped her over to the center of the ring. The 1 Percenter lunged across her for the cover!

Missy: That is not how I expected that to go… or Gillie either I’m guessing. Valerie may well have just thumbed her way to a Future Shock Championship shot.

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! NO!

Being they were close to the ropes, Gillie got her leg across the bottom before the three struck. Valerie looked up at it infuriated, and glared daggers at the referee too before she got back to her feet.

Zack: If they hadn’t have been near the ropes, that couldn’t have happened! The only part of Gillie’s body moving was her leg, and Valerie isn’t happy about it

Missy: Valerie will just have to suck it up, won’t she? Whether by accident or design, Gillie has kept her chance at the number one contendership alive with that one little move.

McKinley paced back and forth a moment as Gillie was slow to stir on the mat. The brunette started back to her feet before Valerie pulled her towards her into position for her finisher.

Zack: I know what’s coming, and Gillie won’t get up from it!

As Valerie moved Gillie into perfect position, the brunette surprised her with a headbutt to the face. The redhead dropped her, and stumbled backwards as Gillie got to her feet. When the 1 Percenter turned around, Gillie delivered her open palm thrust to the face and dropped her where she stood! Barnes dove for the cover as the crowd counted with the referee.

Zack: OLD SCHOOL JAM!!!

ONE!!!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

The Phoenix crowd roared as the bell rang, and Gillie sat up with a dazed look on her face. She asked the referee if she had won, and got a nod after she got to her feet and had her hand raised.

Missy: Yes!!! Gillie definitely had to work for this win and that will just make it all the sweeter for her!

Gaby: Here’s your winner and the #1 contender to the Future Shock Championship….’OLD SCHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL’ GILLIE BAAAAAAAAAAAARNES!!

Gillie beamed brightly as it dawned on her what she had done, and climbed up onto the turnbuckle to shout “Old School” into the crowd as they returned it in kind.

Zack: Congratulations to Gillie on putting herself in the top spot to challenge either Andi or Harley for the gold!

Valerie began to stir on the canvas, anger etching across her face as she looked towards the back and began waving her hand for something or someone.

Missy: Either match up is going to be awesome to watch, and Gillie deserves her shot, no question! What the hell is Valerie waving at though?

All eyes turned to the entranceway as Valentina Lozano and Isis Morales headed down the ramp. The boos only got louder as they climbed into the ring with her, each of them raising her hand in victory. Gillie started to get up, only for all three of them to start putting the boots to her.

Zack: Good Lord, Gillie’s getting the life stomped out of her….and I think Valerie McKinley may have joined Ascension! It’s a three-on-one mugging!

Missy: There is absolutely no need for this. Valerie already lost the match, this is just disgusting!

Valentina pulled Gillie’s head up, and let Valerie slap her across the face again. The live crowd’s boos only got louder still as Isis started to pick Gillie up next.

Zack: Valerie with another slap across the face to Gillie, she didn’t get the title shot! And Gillie’s gonna pay for it!

As Isis was picking her up, NHB and Mallory Bennett bolted towards the ring from the back. Mallory had a chair in hand, and the trio exited to the floor.

Missy: That certainly got them moving, thankfully! I don’t blame them, Mallory with a chair is not something I’d stick around for either if she was coming at me.

Zack: Gillie’s got the title shot, but Valerie has apparently joined Ascension! I can guarantee you they haven’t heard the last of this.

Valentina and Isis raised Valerie’s hands at the top of the ramp to more disdain from the crowd before the show cuts to a commercial for the next Pay Per View, Anarchy.

Rose On A Mission

Quick footsteps are heard as the show cuts to the back, and finds Sara again. This time, she’s in hot pursuit of a brunette heading through the hallway with her rolling bag behind her. When the camera finally catches up, we see Sara has discovered “Poison” herself.

Sara: Rose! Got a minute? What happened out there?

Rose: That’s exactly what I wanna know!

Rose keeps walking - or rather, marching - towards her goal, which is not apparent. The look of irritation and concern on the Cosplaying Princess is unlike ever seen before.

Sara: You and the rest of us. I do happen to have found out that Brianna Singer has had your boyfriend arrested, and he’s currently being booked and fingerprinted at the local precinct in Phoenix. Do you have any idea what the charges are?

Rose stops walking for a moment, staring at Sara. The reporter can feel the irritation coming from Poison, but approachable as she is, Sara knows it’s not because of the impromptu interview.

Rose: No. No idea. But you know what? Once I find out, whatever BS they cooked up for Alex, I’m gonna put and end to it. Because you guys may not remember, but I was raised in the streets, and I know BS when I see it. I was trained to do that. I feel it in the goddamn air. And you can be sure of one thing, Sara: I’ll have a proper answer for this.

Rose then addresses the camera.

Rose: Next Future Shock, in Boston? It’s about time y’all get a piece of Rosalina’s mind.

And upon saying that, she resumes power-walking towards the arena exit.

The arena darkens with a spotlight hanging over Gabrielle Crimson as she stands in the center of the ring with her microphone once more.

Gaby: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is your main event of the evening!  And it is for the FFW Future Shock Championship!!

Zack: What a night it’s been so far here at Genesis, but the main event is upon us.  I expect a clean match with these two, given how much they seem to respect one another.

Lyn: That is a plus, however I don’t expect that respect to stop ANY intensity we’ll see in this match.

[CUE THE SOUNDCHIP! An 8-bit version of the song from the Goonies start playing as the main lights dim down in the arena, with small star spotlights in a variety of colors flying around the crowd. 8-bit stars fill the videoboards, right up until the words start and Andi Takata comes sprinting out of the back to hit her mark. ]

# GOOD -GOOD- GOOD

[Andi hops into place, already in her Magical Girl pose, with blue and white sparkling pyro popping behind her, and the videoboards all exploding into pixellated color madness! The bassline kicks in and Andi dances for a moment before she starts to head for the ring, taking her time to enjoy her 'Starlights'!]

#Here we are, Hanging onto strains of greed and blues
#Break the chain then we break down
#Oh it's not real, if you don't feel it
#Unspoken expectations
#Ideals we used to play with
#Finally taking shape for us.

[By this time, Andi has reached the ringside fans, and cues them up for the dance party!]

#What's good enough (good enough)
#For you is
#Good enough (good enough)
#For me it's good enough (good enough)
#It's good enough for me
#Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah!!!

[And when Pacman whirrs down, Andi punches the air above her and makes her way back around the ring to get to the rest of her Starlights, before heading up the steps and into the ring....]

#goodgoodgoodgoodgood...

#Now you'll say You're startin' to feel the push.... and pull
#Of what could be and never can
#You mirror me... stumblin' through those
#Old fashioned superstitions
#I find too hard to breaaaak
#Maybe you're out of place whaaaat's

[The song builds up again, and Andi, after running the ropes by this point, stops in the middle, to rally EVERYONE up to join her in a big ol' Caramelldanse! And most do!]

Gaby: Introducing first, she hails from the Cosmos and represents the Burning Star Express! Please welcome….’THE LUCKY STAR’ ANDI TAKATA!!!

#Good enough (good enough)
#For you is
#Good enough (good enough)
#For me It's good enough (good enough)
#It's good enough for me
#Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah!!

[Andi runs up the turnbuckles for one last go! Keep dancing everyone!]

#Good enough (good enough)
#For you Is
#Good enough (good enough)
#For me.. It's good, it's good enough
#It's good enough for me
#Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah!!!!

[Andi finally hops down as the song fades away....]

Zack: Andi knows what it’s like to hold the Future Shock Championship, she’s done it before. Nothing would thrill her more than doing it again here in Phoenix!

Lyn: She is the elder statesman... Well, elder statesalien of Future Shock and you can’t blame her for wanting to be the final alumni to ever hold the title.

There’s a short silence as the arena falls dark, building up the tension before “Seven Notes in Black” by The Vince Tempera Orchestra starts to play and a single spotlight falls on the middle of the stage, straight onto the flame haired Future Shock Prospect with the Future Shock Championship held high above her head. As the crowd cheer wildly for her, Harley holds the pose for a couple of moments, until the song stops playing for a couple of seconds. The girl was wearing a leather jacket over her ring gear; her head tied up in a bun, held in place by two chopsticks.

Gaby: Weighing in at 122 lbs, standing 5’6” tall and coming from Hanover, New Hampshire. She is the reigning and defending FFW Future Shock Champion...HARLEY SHANNON!!!

After a couple of moments of silence the song starts up once more - with a more eerie tone and at that moment Harley starts off down the ramp, shedding her leather jacket before reaching back and pulling the chopsticks out of her hair and shaking her head to let her bright, flame red hair fall down around her shoulders. As she got to the bottom of the ramp, the girl picked out a young fan at ringside, giving the chopsticks to the fan before she slides into the ring and popped to her feet. Heading for the corner, Harley climbed to the middle rope, holding the title high into the air to get cheers from the fans before she dropped back down to the canvas in the corner. She held the title up in front of her, giving the faceplate a kiss before she surrendered the championship to the referee and waited for the match to start.

Zack: Harley Shannon is the first Prospect to ever hold the Future Shock Championship, and with tonight being her first defense, I suspect it may take the cosmos plotting against her to take it.

Lyn: The cosmos, the galactic trade organization, the space pirates, the empire... And it might still not be enough.

Referee Jennifer Stringer takes the title from Harley, and shows it to Andi before she raises it above her head. Gaby then takes the title with her as she exits the ring, and the bell is sounded. Both women move to the center with Harley offering a handshake. Andi accepts and returns it as they listen to an evenly split crowd in the arena with half chanting for one and half for the other. They lock up in the center of the ring, both women jockeying for position. Neither seemed to be getting the advantage until Harley dropped down, turning it into a monkey flip that sent Andi onto her back. As soon as she got up, Harley drove her back into the turnbuckles. She drove repeated shoulder thrusts into her ribs, and then used a snapmare to bring her out of the corner. A low dropkick to the back of her head caused Andi to bounce her face off the mat before Harley had took off for the far side, and rebounded with a low dropkick this time to her chest to put her down on the mat.

Zack: These two are pretty evenly matched as far as attributes go, Lyn. I’m not sure either has much of a speed advantage. The only difference is experience level, but Harley’s starting off well.

Lyn: What she’ll lack in experience, she’ll make up for in creativity. The more experience you gain, the less you try something new.

As soon as Andi sat up, Harley dropped behind her for a rear chinlock with a knee into her back for added damage. Andi’s face winced in pain as Harley kept the hold applied tightly, The alien reached up to grab her hands, but Harley quickly changed the hold by grabbing her hands and pulling her arms around her neck into a straitjacket with her knee still firmly planted in Andi’s back. Shannon leaned back, pulling her arms tighter to try to cut off Andi’s air at the same time.

Lyn: Always love a nice straightjacket choke, also known as the goku-raku gatame and Andi might be turning as blue as her hair.

Zack: You’re not kidding. I’m not sure if Andi was expecting this kind of offense from Harley. She might have expected them both to just go for knockouts.

Andi’s face began to darken the longer the hold was applied until she saw where she was. Takata reached across, and grabbed the bottom rope. Stringer asked for a break, and Harley let go immediately. Andi gasped to catch her breath as she leaned forward on the mat, and Harley continued the offense with repeated knees to her back and knee. She hopped up onto the nearby second turnbuckle, and came off with a knee drop into her neck and back again. The space princess tried to get away from her, but Harley bounced off the ropes and came back with a seated senton across Andi’s back and right into a camel clutch.

Zack: Harley’s totally concentrated on Andi’s spine and neck, a laser-like focus right there. Now a camel clutch, and that won’t make Andi’s neck feel any better.

Lyn: There’s going to be no easy movement for Takata after all this neck and spine focus. Any and all flying she might do may ground her.

The referee dropped into position to see if Andi wanted to submit, but she had no intention of that. Though the look of pain etched across her face would have indicated otherwise, Andi tried to reach for the ropes. But none were within easy reach, so the “Lucky Star” pulled up two of Harley’s fingers under her chin and bit into them. The champion let go immediately, and shook her hand in pain as Andi started to get up to her feet. The champion doubled back to grab her, only to get caught in a jawbreaker! She stumbled back as Andi got to her feet and lunged forward with a running palm strike to the face. Shannon staggered for a moment before the challenger pulled her into a small package!

Lyn: SMALL PACKAGE FROM LITERALLY OUT OF NOWHERE!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

NOPE!!

Harley kicked out in time, and Andi rolled into the ropes. She got to her feet, holding the back of her head and neck as she waited for Harley to get to her feet. When the champion did so, Andi bolted forward with a scissor kick to put her down on the canvas.

Zack: Andi’s starting to get her offense going here, and Harley’s eating some feet of the challenger in the process.

Shannon started to rise again before Andi caught her with a yakuza kick that sent her backwards into the corner. She quickly followed after her with a running forearm strike to the jaw. The champion stumbled out, holding her mouth as Andi climbed up to the middle rope behind her. When Harley got her bearings and turned back towards her opponent, Andi dove off with a blockbuster and floated into a cover immediately.

Zack: Andi’s looking for knockouts, and that blockbuster might have done the trick! Andi’s got the cover!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

T-NOPE!!

Once more, Harley kicked out and Andi got back to her feet. She stopped in her tracks a moment, still favoring the back of her neck.

Lyn: That somersault diving neckbreaker took almost as much out of Andi as it did out of Shannon. Exactly what Harley was counting on from earlier.

Takata grabbed Harley by the head, and took off for a bulldog into the corner. The champion’s head hit the middle turnbuckle, and dropped her to her knees. A low superkick to her ear followed that before Harley staggered back to her feet. Andi circled around behind her, and applied a sleeper. Harley was too stunned to fight it off as Andi pulled her back towards the center of the ring. She leaned into her as Harley reached languidly towards any ropes she could find. But none were within reach as her movements began to falter.

Lyn: Sapping Harley of her stamina, that sleeper just squeezing the air from her throat!

Zack: There’s not too many quicker ways of putting someone out than cutting off the flow of blood to the brain through the carotid artery. It may be night night time for the champion!

After a few seconds, the champion dropped to her knees with Andi still leaning over her and making her carry her body weight. Stringer dropped down to a knee next to Harley, asking if she wanted to stop but not getting an answer. She lifted her arm, and let it drop. A second time, it did the same thing. It nearly fell a third time before Harley grabbed Stringer’s wrist. The referee got her arm free as Harley started trying to get up. Her fans began chanting her name, and Andi hopped onto her back in a piggyback ride to exert the maximum pressure on the sleeper. Harley dropped to a knee again, but fought to get back to her feet. She bent over almost double, and charged the corner. Andi’s head ricocheted off the middle turnbuckle, and caused her to let go before Harley dropped to her knees and leaned her head against the turnbuckle to pull herself together.

Lyn: Harley’s gotten herself free there but the damage may have been done from that sleeper by the looks of it.

Zack: I agree with you. They have both taken a tremendous amount out of each other, there’s no question about that. We’ll find out who wants it more tonight!

The champion tried to collect herself as she got to her feet, shaking her head to try to lessen the effects of the sleeper. Andi clutched her neck in pain as she got to her feet, only to eat a short knee from Harley to the ribs. The champion grabbed her by the head, and hoisted her upside down into a brainbuster. A hook of the leg followed that before Stringer dove for the cover.

Zack: Harley with a devastating brainbuster to an already injured spine! That may be all she wrote for Takata!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THREEE-NOPE!!

Andi’s shoulder came up before the three came down, and Harley sat up on her knees. She was still fairly woozy from the sleeper, and began shaking her head to try to clear the cobwebs. The champion rose back to her feet, as Andi was starting to do the same. Harley reached forward to grab her, only to walk right into Andi’s superkick! The champion dropped like a rock before Andi dove on top of her for the cover.

Lyn: Harley may get sick of seeing superkicks by time this over! There’s the pin!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-WAIT!

Harley reached out and grabbed the bottom rope for a split second, stopping the count before her arm fell to the canvas. Andi got back to her feet, her face wincing in pain as she held the back of her neck.

Zack: These two are taking the measure of one another here tonight at Genesis, and it’s all for the right to hold the Future Shock Championship!

Andi made her way to the corner, and finally the top rope. She measured Harley for a split second, and launched herself into THE shooting star press. But the champion rolled out of the way, and Andi managed to land on her feet with catlike agility. As she tried to get her balance, Harley kicked her in the abdomen and planted her with a spike piledriver on top of her head. She rolled her over onto her back, and hooked the leg for the cover.

Zack: A jumping piledriver, and Andi’s gotta be out cold! Harley’s retaining her title in Phoenix!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NOPE!!!

Andi once again got her shoulder up in time, causing Harley to look a little bit frustrated. She got back to her feet, taking a moment to collect herself before she yanked Andi up to her feet. The “Lucky Star” surprised her though with a palm strike to the throat that sent her staggering backwards to catch her breath. Andi went to grab her head, and pulled her into position for her finisher.

Lyn: We might be looking at the end... Here it comes!

Andi took off to deliver the cutter, but Harley shoved her forward to avoid it. When Takata turned back around, she caught a roundhouse kick to the head that dropped her. Harley immediately dropped down, and applied her neck crank submission!

Lyn: NO! The Space Crusher gets countered for the HARLEY HEADLOCK!

Andi shouted in pain as Harley tightened the hold to increase the pain. Takata reached for the ropes, but none were close by. She tried to stretch and pull Harley, but the champion had her foot planted and wasn’t budging. The referee asked her if she wanted to quit, but the challenger only shouted in pain. She reached for the ropes again, trying to find anything to grab and finding nothing. And finally after a few more seconds, she tapped out and the referee called for the bell.

Zack: And that’ll do it!! Harley’s done it again!

The referee raised her hand as Harley released the hold. The crowd gave her a very loud response as she was handed her title.

Gaby: Here is your winner by submission…...AND STIIIIILL FFW Future Shock Champion…...HARLEY SHANNON!!!

Lyn: She’s done it! Harley Shannon has walked in and walked out of Genesis STILL champion!

Harley headed for the ropes, and climbed to the middle to hold up her title. A bright smile etched across her face before she hopped down, and slapped the title before raising it again.

Zack: Harley Shannon is gonna be a major star one day in FFW, but until then, she’s gonna be the poster girl for the Prospects of Future Shock!

Lyn: All respect to Andi here tonight, Zack. The space alien fought on behalf of the cosmos like a woman possessed. Thank you ladies and gentlemen and that’s it for Genesis...! What. A. Show.

Harley looked down at her new title, the smile still there till she looked up to the ramp to see Gillie. The new #1 contender watched her from the top of the ramp as Harley raised her title again as Future Shock Genesis faded off the air.
