The FFW logo flashes across the screen before we see what looks like a hallway at a prison. A guard with a nightstick is shown patrolling the corridor looking through the bars. In one cell, he sees a powerful looking woman strumming a guitar. Another cell has a redhead tending to dead roses. The next one has an orange haired woman sketching something on a notepad. Another has a blue haired woman talking into her watch like it’s a walkie talkie. “Shotcaller” by Taio Cruz begins to play.

“HEEEEYYY!” A screeching voice shouted as the guard looked over to see Gilbert Gottfried digging in his ear with his finger. “When’s lunch?”

I'm switch flipper
Jump starter, button pusher
Heart knocker, show stopper
Script flipper, body rocker
Floor filler, sleek talker
Heart breaker, ninja killer
Love maker, ass kicker
Name taker, rock star

As the guard rolls his eyes, a hand reaches inside entrance to the hallway, and pulls a switch on the wall. The lights go out, except for floodlights as an Executive Assistant watches through the window. The guard immediately freezes in place as the doors to the cells open, and the inmates head out. The redhead spins him around, and blows red powder into the guard’s face before the guitar strummer breaks it over his head.

I'm a shotcaller
I'm a black rocker
I'm a heartbreaker
I'm a script flipper
Show stopper

Harley bolts out of her cell towards the door, as Andi emerges from her cell. A hand reaches out, and pinches her on the butt. She turns around to see Gilbert looking at her. “What? I’m Gilbert Gottfried, haven’t I suffered enough?!” He asks before someone in the cell across from him shouts…

Andi turns towards to see Flava Flav in another opened cell, and decks him to the floor. Lacey and Lydia head for the door as well, eyeing one another as they don’t seem to trust one another. Lydia waves for Andi to join her before the space princess grins, showing a conspicuous grill in her mouth and a clock on a chain around her neck, before she bolts for the door.

As the inmates have all disappeared, the guard starts to sit up and grab his walkie talkie to page for help. “Th...the inmates have escaped! It’s….ANARCHY!!” He says before a stiletto heel kicks him in the stomach, sending him over backwards as he looks up to the “Lioness” Elizabeth Lannister with a grin on her face. From there, we fade out and then into the arena as “Shot Caller” by Taio Cruz blares through the PA system.

Zack: The inmates are running the asylum tonight as we come to you live from the Little Caesars Arena here in the Motor City of Detroit, Michigan! Zack Hudson here alongside Lyn Dallins, and we welcome you to Future Shock Anarchy!

Lyn: We’re looking at some monumentous clashes in The D, Zack and I for one cannot wait!

Zack: On a night where we hope to have a lot of questions answered, two championships are on the line as NHB defends the tag titles against Next Generation, and Harley Shannon looks to turn back the challenge of “Old School” Gillie Barnes! Not to mention a #1 contender match for the gold when Andi Takata meets Valerie McKinley!

Lyn: Can Gillie be the one to finally dethrone Harl, and you know that Valerie and everyone she associates herself with is convinced she should all but have the Future Shock title by now, but standing in her way is the final boss of this division, title or not! Andi wants it one more time!

Zack: All the Prospects are here tonight, and one woman we particularly want to hear from is also in the house. Mistress Vivi made one hell of an impact on the last edition of Future Shock, and she’ll be here tonight to explain her actions!

Lyn: Oh I’m sure Angel and Lacey will both be listening very... Very closely to hear what Vivi has to say before they find a few choice words themselves. The way the fans welcomed her though, I think they’ll accept anything Vivi has to say for her actions. As long as they see more Hurricane Viviennes!

Zack: Grudge matches up and down the card, and those guys who looked like the men in black are here too! We’ll find out what that’s all about no doubt as well!

Lyn: I suspect something... Or rather someone is afoot there, Zack but we’ll find out soon enough.

The shot changes to a sedan pulling up outside before someone moves around to open the back door, allowing Nora Harris to step out with a smile on her face. She’s escorted inside to quite a pop from the crowd.

Zack: And there you see our special guest tonight, Lyn! That’s Nora Harris, and I’m looking forward to seeing what part she is going to play in tonight’s event.

Lyn: A standout in the wrestling scene today, our Chi-Town native may bring a... Code of silence to some objector here tonight.

Zack: You’ll see Kyle Kilmeade and Lacey team together for the first and likely last time to face Celeste and Christian Kincaid! And boy, is the ledger heavy on one side for this one!

Lyn: Kyle says he’s been training for this one. I... Look man, there’s bravado and then there’s insanity and you’re dancing between ‘em but we’ll see how this pans out.

Zack: Tara Cortez is here as well, and apparently there’s some kind of ceremony planned for the “10 Star Prospect!” Your guess is as good as mine there.

Lyn: ...And in that one moment I’m all in for Christian and his clients, the next I sigh quietly and lean back in my chair. Well I hope there’s no giant trophy.

Zack: It’s a loaded event, thank you for joining us wherever you are! Let’s send it up to the ring, because we got one hell of a grudge match kicking things off!

The cameras head to ringside, where we find one of the competitors already in the ring as Gaby brings up her microphone to speak.

Gaby: The opening contest of Future Shock Anarchy is scheduled for one fall!

Zack: There is nothing but bad blood in what we are about to see, Lyn. It is easily one of the most heated matches we have on tonight’s card.

Lyn: I don’t expect this match to stay in the ring past five minutes, I’ll be honest.

Gaby: And in this corner, from South Bend, Indiana... weighing one hundred sixty-five pounds... Lilliana Leucrotta!

Lilliana shoots a bird to the crowd booing her, and shares another with the camera when she looks back at it.

Zack: I think we’ve established by now that Lilliana doesn’t like…..well anyone. And as you can hear from this crowd, the feeling is entirely mutual.

Lyn: The most charisma free wrestler I’ve ever seen in my life. I’m glad she at least showed up even if the rest of her personality back at the hotel.

The lights shift to a turquoise hue as the chorus of Kristina Maria’s “Move Like A Soldier” erupts over the PA system. Tracey Murdock emerges from behind the curtain with a bright smile, throwing both arms high into the air. When she gets to the edge of the ramp, she pumps her fist into the air three times, a firework going off for each pump, much to the delight of the crowd. The lighting returns to normal after the third firework.

Gaby: Introducing from Lanikai Beach, Hawaii….please welcome TRACEY MURDOCK!

As Tracey moves down the ramp, she slaps hands with the fans, occasionally stopping to let one snap a selfie with her. Tracey quickly slides into the ring under the bottom rope and is on her feet in a split-second. She is all smiles as she climbs to the top turnbuckle. She throws up the hang-loose gesture to the crowd with her right hand, then ropewalks to the opposite turnbuckle, and throws another hang-loose gesture with her left hand. She looks like she is about to jump down before she springboards off the rope with a coast to coast dropkick on Leucrotta that brings the crowd to its feet! Murdock immediately unloads with right hands from the mount position as referee Kevin Fisk calls for the bell.

Zack: Holy hell, Murdock didn’t wait for the bell with one of the damnedest dropkicks I’ve ever seen! And the fight is on!!

Fisk tried to get her up off the newcomer, but Tracey wasn’t hearing itg. More right hands found the mark before she finally got back to her feet, and jerked Lilliana with her. She whipped her across to the far corner, and followed her in with a Superman punch to the mouth. Leucrotta reeled in the corner before Tracey scooped her up to sit on the top turnbuckle before bringing her down to the mat with a Death Valley Driver. The blonde hopped up onto the middle turnbuckle, and pulled her elbow pad down to deliver a bare elbow drop into Leucrotta’s head that popped the crowd again.

Zack: I have never seen this side of Tracey Murdock, but it’s what Leucrotta has brought out of her! Nothing but bone to skull off that exposed elbow drop!

Lyn: I’ve never seen it but I like it! That top rope death valley driver though. I don’t even know what to say about that one!

Lilliana rolled away from her towards the ropes, but Tracey was right behind her as she unleashed a volley of kicks to her midsection. It caused her to double over in pain before a scissor kick to the back of her head put her down on the mat yet again. Tracey used the middle rope for a springboard moonsault that landed perfectly. The referee dropped down, assuming she was going for a cover but Tracey yanked Lilliana’s head up.

Zack: Oh my… Tracey’s not interested in going for the win right now, Lyn. She’s here to inflict as much suffering as she can on Leucrotta!

Lyn: That’s how you know you done fucked up, Zack. When someone would rather keep beating your ass than make an end of it.

The Indiana native tried to get to her feet, only for Tracey to grab her arm and start firing kicks once again into her body. Seven in a row landed before Tracey planted her head between her, and showed a rare power display with a turnbuckle powerbomb that folded Lilliana up in the corner. The Hawaiian grabbed the top rope, and began stomping relentlessly at her in a fury. The referee tried to get her to back off, and she shoved him away and went right back to stomping the life out of her opponent. The live crowd roared in approval as she shoved the referee away again before grabbing the ropes to deliver a basement dropkick into Lilliana’s chest.

Zack: Murdock is incensed, Lyn! And she’s gonna get disqualified if she doesn’t get control of herself! You know she wants to punish Lilliana severely!

Lyn: Well I’m not gonna tell her that! It’s not helping the crowd is loving every single second of it!

Lilliana rolled out to the floor, and collapsed to her hands and knees. She crawled around the corner, and started towards the ramp. The referee admonished Tracey again for not letting her opponent out of the corner, but the opponent was now heading up the ramp in pain. Tracey spotted her, and rolled out to get her. Murdock pulled up the apron, and found herself a chair before she headed after Lilliana.

Zack: Lilliana doesn’t want anything more to do with Tracey Murdock! I don’t think she realized she was going to unleash this side of---she’s got a chair!

Lyn: ...Why does she have a chair!?

Murdock headed up the ramp after her with the crowd solidly in support of her. She brought the chair high above her head before the referee pulled it out of her hand from behind, and warned her once again about a disqualification. As he headed back to put the chair back under the ring, Tracey turned around and caught a right hand between her legs that dropped her to her knees. Lilliana crawled away from her for a moment, trying to get herself together before making it to her feet. A look of anger formed on her face as she bolted forward with a big boot across her jaw to put her down, causing the crowd to remind her how they felt about her.

Lyn: Lilliana finally gets something called offense. Someone hold up a sign that says “At least you tried” please.

Zack: Leucrotta has never been assaulted like she has been since this match started, and she didn’t have much other choice but to do whatever she could at this point.

She shot them a bird at their response before she pulled Tracey back to her feet. She took off towards the ring, and drove her face into the apron. Murdock’s head bounced off it before Lilliana grabbed it again. This time, she drove it into the ring post at a high rate of speed. Murdock collapsed to her knees as she leaned against the steel while Lilliana backed up a few steps. A second big boot crushed her head against the post, causing her to fall to the floor. Leucrotta picked her up, and dumped her back into the ring under the bottom rope. She followed behind her inside the ring before rolling Tracey onto her back, and biting into her face to a four count from the referee.

Lyn: Leucrotta seems to have remembered this is a match needed to be won... Nevermind she’s teasing a disqualification.

Zack: With just a seemingly rudimentary grasp of wrestling, she does what she knows best. And that’s back alley fighting like you see here.

Leucrotta finally stopped, and got back to her feet to put the boots to Tracey’s head and body. The Hawaiian started to stir finally on the mat, beginning to rise to her feet before her opponent bounced off the near side with a running bulldog that smacked her face back into the canvas. A leaping leg drop across the back of her head followed that before Lilliana rolled her onto her back, and then went for a cover. Fisk slid into position to make the count.

Zack: Lilliana wants this thing over sooner than later, and it’s hard to blame her after seeing what she brought out of Tracey!

Murdock’s shoulder came off the mat, causing Lilliana to get back to her feet. She dragged her boot across the blonde’s face, and then headed for the nearest corner where she dropped to her knees and began to remove the bottom turnbuckle pad.

Lyn: Leucrotta is looking to scramble Murdock’s brains with exposed turnbuckle...

The referee was checking on Tracey, and didn’t notice before Leucrotta grabbed her feet. She dragged her towards the corner, and set her head up under the exposed turnbuckle. Leucroatte looked like she was aiming to execute a catapult, but Tracey brought her knees up and sent the Indiana resident face first into the top turnbuckle. Murdock rolled out from under the corner as her opponent was getting her bearings. As the blonde started to get up, Leucrotta caught her with a running kneelift to the face that popped her up long enough to pull her into a DDT. Once again, she rolled her onto her back and hooked the leg for a cover. Fisk dropped where he stood to make the count.

Lyn: There’s the pin and no one gets busted open... For now.

Tracey got her shoulder up in the nick of time, and Lilliana rose back to her feet. She scowled at the referee for not counting the three, and then headed for the ropes.

Zack: Once more, Leucrotta closes in on a three but it wasn’t meant to be. Nothing but basic attacks here from her, but they are working like a charm.

Leucrotta measured her opponent as Tracey started to push up to her hands and knees. The Indiana native pulled her back into position, and hoisted her up overhead into a brainbuster. Tracey’s body bounced off the mat before Lilliana went for another cover with a hook of the leg. The referee was right in position.

Tracey’s arm came up in time, and Lilliana verbally abused the referee for not counting quicker. She got back to her feet, and spit on Tracey’s body.

Zack: I think she’s about to go for her favorite move, that curb stomp she’s used again and again. And if you’re a Tracey fan as it seems everyone in this crowd is, that’s gonna be bad news, Lyn!

Lyn: Bad news for everyone but the woman using it, Zack...

Lilliana took off towards the ropes, picking up speed as she rebounded back towards Tracey. As she rose, Leucrotta delivered her curb stomp to drive her head into the mat. She immediately dropped into a cover with a leg hook before the referee joined her on the mat.

Lyn: ...Curb stomp, I guess. This is... Terrible. Pin. Whatever.

Fisk called for the bell amid a loud round of boos from the crowd. Lilliana sat up and slumped over with an irritated look on her face. When she got to her feet, her hand was raised to make it official.

Gaby: Here is your winner…………..LILLIANA LEUCROTTA!!

Zack: A very game effort by Tracey Murdock, but her emotions got the better of her! This may not be the way these fans hoped for Anarchy to begin, but Lilliana emerges victorious here tonight in Detroit.

Lyn: Sure, why not, victorious, yeah, whatever...... Anyway all respect to Tracey for nearly pulling it off. The emotions are completely understood.

Leucrotta rolled out under the ropes, and headed up the aisle with a few obscene gestures to the fans along the ramp as she did so. The show cut elsewhere from there.

10 Star Ceremony

As the show returns to the arena itself, the crowd’s booing is quickly heard as “Drama Queen” is by Family Force 5 is heard playing through the PA system. The reason for their ire is standing in the ring as Tara Cortez is joined by her manager, Christian Kincaid.

Christian: I am a man of my word, folks. I promised this girl right here that she was going to be part of Future Shock Anarchy tonight. And despite the fact that there’s no match made for her, I made the decision that I was going to do something for her tonight that will hopefully stand out as much as any match she could have had will. A little surprise for her, courtesy of me.

The crowd seems to ignore all of that as they continue to boo Tara. The brunette waves it all off, even though her expression is that of mild annoyance.

Tara: I don’t know why you’re being so unhelpful tonight. You should be glad that a 10-star talent such as myself has made the decision to come grace this event even if management has decided to leave me out of a match. I’m Future Shock’s only undefeated star as it stands right now, and the reason for that is obvious, and we’ve been telling you about it ever since I first showed up! I’m a prodigy! A genius! And you should all be ready to acknowledge that on sight, because there’s no talent such as Tara Cortez!

Christian: I can certainly vouch for that. Among all of her other achievements thus far, I think it’s important to remind everyone that there is only one woman on this roster who has been here as long as Tara has who is still undefeated in Future Shock. Not a single loss. Not against one woman, not against two, and not against other Prospects like herself. And that’s why I have arranged for this little surprise tonight. Something Tara is long deserving of, and something I have gone to personal expense to make happen just for her.

Tara leans onto the ropes and just shakes her head at the booing crowd.

Tara: You all boo because you don’t have the same athletic acumen that I do, and you don’t have a wonderful manager such as CK! So… go on, Chris, ignore those selfish people.

Christian: Ladies and gentlemen, you are all familiar with the Aspire Ring. It’s been around since the whole reboot a couple years ago. We know what it’s purpose is. But you see with Tara here being the only undefeated woman on the roster with her tenure so far and seeing how it doesn’t look like she’s even getting considered for a shot at that ring, I have gone to personal expense to create something just for her. Something she can wear, something she can be proud of that probably costs more than the Aspire Ring anyway.

He removes a small black ring box from his pocket, and pops it open to show a silver band with a platinum star in the center with nine other smaller stars surrounding it. In the center is a red sapphire.

Christian: I call this the 10 Star Ring, only to be worn by a 10 Star Prospect. But you see, you don’t wear this ring on your ring finger….

He gently removes it, and slides it on Tara’s index finger.

Christian: You wear it on this finger, because when you tell people you are #1….now you have a visual aid to prove it. Tara, you deserve this ring. You’ve earned this ring for being the first, last, and only 10 Star talent in the history of Future Shock.

The crowd is booing even louder now at this number of blatant self-aggrandizement as Tara seems to be completely ecstatic about it.

Tara: This… This is the culmination of all the hard work I’ve been putting in this brand! And how it becomes better because I’m part of it! I’m not only the 10-Star Prospect in name… I’m worth 10 stars in EVERYTHING I do, and this ring! This ring is the visual proof of it! Who needs to Aspire when you’re already twice as great as everyone else?!

Christian: Not to mention a symbol of your home state, since you are truly a Lone Star amongst the crowd here in Future Shock. You deserve it, and you shouldn’t ever have to take it off because it exists purely because you do.

Tara: A Lone Star worth 10 stars. Has a nice ring, I’ll admit.

Tara smirks.

Tara: So here’s to everyone in Future Shock who wants to step up to the true 10 stars-worthy woman of this company: don’t say you didn’t see it coming when you’re burning under my starlight! Because I’m the 10-Star Prospect, goddamnit, and I’m twice as good as you are!!!

Christian begins to applaud her as her music begins again. From there, we cut to a commercial for the Invasion show coming to Scotland.

After a quick recap of events between Elizabeth and Mila, we head back to the ring with Gaby standing in the center.

Gaby: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is under Submission Rules!

Zack: Never before in Future Shock have we had a match like this. Submission rules, the only way to win is to make your opponent tap out! As a former submission wrestler, Lyn, I’m sure matches like this are always of keen interest.

Lyn: I love a good submissions match. Especially to see just HOW the wrestlers will make strategic use of said submissions.

by the somewhat subtle opening riff of ‘Massive Addictive’ by Amaranthe. A few seconds pass before the song kicks into full gear, causing the curtains to rustle a bit before the dapper figure of one Kyle Kilmeade emerges from the back. He steps out onto the stage and glances at either side of the stage at the crowd before stepping to the side, holding out his hand to the curtain. Out from the back emerges the beautiful Elizabeth Lannister. Stepping out onto the stage, she takes Kyle’s outstretched hand and promptly twirls around slowly, showing off the intricate work on her robe. Dropping his hand, Elizabeth nods and starts to walk down the aisle, Kyle walking in stride next to her.

Gaby: Ladies and gentlemen, making her way to the ring, being accompanied by her manager Kyle Kilmeade…..from Scottsdale, Arizona…’THE LIONESS’ ELIZABETH LANNISTER!!

Once she reaches the ring she begins to climb the steel steps, with Kyle hopping up onto the apron and holding the ropes open for her. She carefully climbs through the opened ropes and steps into the middle of the ring, flipping her hair over her shoulders and sticking her arms out to the sides, her head tilted back, a confident smirk etched on her angelic features. She then returns her head to it’s normal position and unclasps her robe, shrugging it off as Kyle reaches forward to carefully hand it to a nearby stagehand. She then moves her arms back and forth to loosen up as the music begins to fade out.

Zack: It still stands out in my mind how this woman and Kyle Kilmeade swerved Mila in their last meeting, not to mention kicked a chair into her face.

Lyn: If I’m Mila I’m looking to repay that debt to Elizabeth... And not in the way she likes, either.

As Survivor by Destiny’s Child starts to play around the arena, Midnight walks out in her ring gear of black combat style shorts, matching black cut off tank top, black boots and a short black jacket. She stops at the top of the ramp, nodding her head a bit as the verse plays. As the chorus begins, white pyrotechnics erupt at the side of her. While the chorus plays, Midnight makes her way down the ramp, tagging the hands of the fans along the way.

I'm a survivor (what?)
I'm not gon' give up (what?)
I'm not gon' stop (what?)
I'm gon' work harder (what?)
I'm a survivor (what?)
I'm gonna make it (what?)
I will survive (what?)
Keep on survivin'(what?)

Gaby: Introducing at this time, hailing from London, England……”MIDNIGHT” MILA MARTIN!

As the chorus ends and Midnight reaches the bottom of the ramp, she speeds up and runs the rest of the way to the ring, then jumps straight up onto the apron. Holding onto the top rope she looks out to the crowd and raises her hand fist pumping and hyping the crowd up. She climbs into the ring as the music ends and heads to her corner, taking off her jacket and getting ready for the match.

Zack: Mila’s looking as focused as I’ve ever seen her. She still remembers that chair to the face, and being choked out by Elizabeth’s silk robe for interrupting her swimsuit photo shoot.

Lyn: She’s been embarrassed and made to look the fool again and again. That hangs with you, Zack. That hangs with you awhile...

Referee Stephen Wilson checks both women before calling for the bell when Gaby leaves. Elizabeth props up against the corner as Mila’s face tenses in anger just looking at her. The “Lioness” only strolls three steps before Martin rushes her with a running shoulder tackle that drives her back into the corner, and immediately begins throwing combinations to her head and body. The blonde barely gets her hands up in time as Mila tries to work her over, aiming more of her shots to the body as Elizabeth tries to hide her face. A trio of hard uppercuts lands into her abdomen before the brunette overpowers her by pulling her hands apart and using a vicious headbutt to the face. She immediately climbs up onto the middle turnbuckle, and hammers ten fists into Lannister’s head before turning it into a bulldog off the middle rope.

Zack: Mila came out of that corner like she she came out of a cannon, and there’s not enough head and body shots in the world to satisfy her right now!

Lyn: We’re not focused on submissions right now, we’re focused on the beating!

Lannister started to get to her feet, only to be snatched up from behind by Mila with a release German suplex into the turnbuckles. The blonde’s head bounced off them before she landed, and Mila darted towards her. She executed a double stomp into her body that folded her in half. With the crowd solidly behind her, she dragged Elizabeth towards the center of the ring. She looked to be about to apply a figure four leglock, and Lannister caught her with a boot to the face to get free before she rolled out to the floor.

Zack: Elizabeth is getting pummeled like nobody’s business here, and she bolted as soon as she felt a submission about to be applied. Can’t say I blame her either.

Lyn: If that smooth roll of offense didn’t tell her what Mila is entirely capable of, I don’t think anything would for the Lioness.

Mila shook her head, and exited the ring around the corner. Elizabeth finally made it back to her feet, only to turn around and eat a running clothesline from Mila. The crowd began chanting the brunette’s name as she leaned down to pull Elizabeth back up. But Lannister surprised her with a monkey flip that sent her into the ring post a couple feet away. Martin struck it hard, and Elizabeth quickly got to her feet before using a flash kick to her back to cause her head to smack it again. The cheers quickly turned to boos at this point. The “Lioness” grabbed her arm and wrapped it around the ring post once...then again….then again. As Mila tried to get away, Elizabeth grabbed her left arm again and drove it into the barricade. A sinister look on her face, she shoved Mila back inside the ring and followed after her.

Zack: And so it begins, Lyn! We both know what Elizabeth’s favorite submission is, that cross arm breaker she calls the Red Wedding.

Lyn: It’s a really good thing she doesn’t call it the Purple Wedding. That feels like she’d be shooting herself in the foot at that point.

When the former officer started to get up, Lannister hoisted her up and dropped her with a shoulder breaker across her knee. She straightened her arm out on the mat, and began to drive repeated knee drops into it, each one causing more anguish for Mila until she rolled her over and applied a seated armbar. Sat on the mat next to her, Elizabeth kept her arm straight and pushed up on her feet to bend it backwards as far as she could before sitting back down again. The referee dropped down in front of Mila to check for a submission, but he didn’t get one at all.

Lyn: I have to respect Lannister here. She knows fundamentally what she wants and is picking at Mila’s arm like... Y’know, like some some kind of animal with a knob of meat and bone. Maybe a big feline creature... A lynx? No... A jaguar? A bobcat?

Zack: Maybe go “Lioness” because she’s about as merciless as one. Lannister is as technically sound as they come, and you’re seeing why.

“Midnight” tried to find the ropes, which weren’t far away but still out of reach. As Elizabeth pushed up on her feet again, the brunette tried not to shout before she used her free hand to claw towards the ropes. Dragging Lannister with her, she finally made it and caused the referee to call for a break. The “Lioness” didn’t want to give one, but ultimately did as Wilson got to a four count. The model got back to her feet, glaring down to Mila on the mat before she began stomping her left arm and shoulder until she rolled into the ropes to cause the referee to make Elizabeth back up.

Zack: Elizabeth is like a shark that senses blood in the water. Mila’s arm may as well have a bullseye painted on it at this point, Lyn.

Lyn: If it doesn’t I’m sure Lannister will leave welts in the shape of one for her as a fond memory of this day. She might even have a song written of it.

Martin started to get back to her feet, clutching her arm to her body. Elizabeth shoved the official to one side, and made a beeline for her. As soon as she got close though, Mila surprised her with a spinning backfist with the good arm. It wobbled Lannister backwards before Martin darted past her into the ropes. When the blonde turned around, Martin had already lowered her head and scooped her up into an Alabama slam. As soon as she made contact with the mat, Mila clutched her arm again in pain. The swimsuit model rolled onto her stomach to try to push up to her feet right before Mila grabbed her legs. She hoisted her up in an impressive display of strength, and brought her right back down with a wheelbarrow suplex. But again, it caused her to pause once more due to her hurt left arm.

Lyn: Look at the pain on Mila’s face as she hit Lannister with the suplex. Submissions are poison, Zack. Cold. Calculating. Hindering. The long game where you watch your opponent suffer a hundred times before you put them down for the finale.

Zack: This was the only way it could have ended in a match like this though. There’s too much animus between them, and this match will prove to be the ultimate decider for one or the other.

A trio of knee drops into Elizabeth’s back followed that, using her right arm instead. She then bounced off the near side ropes for a double knee drop into her back. Mila grabbed her feet, and locked in a cloverleaf using her right arm as she sat down in the hold. Wilson dove around in front of the “Lioness” this time to see about a submission. Elizabeth’s face was tensed in pain as Mila kept the hold locked in. A quick glance around saw she was in the middle of the ring as she stretched to get closer to the ropes without any success. Martin kept her grip tightly locked while Elizabeth started to pull them both towards the ropes. As soon as she got within reach though, “Midnight” stood up and dragged her back to the center to sit down again.

Lyn: A standard cloverleaf here but don’t fix what ain’t broke! The Lioness is certainly feeling the effects!

Zack: Certainly not a fun way to spend a Tuesday night if you’re Elizabeth Lannister.

Lannister pounded the mat with her fist in irritation as Martin sat back down in the hold. The referee knelt in front of her again, once more asking if she wanted to stop the match. She gave him a loud “no” as Mila leaned back, trying to add more pressure to the cloverleaf. Elizabeths’ back was in agony at this point, and the blonde looked for the ropes again. Seeing they were just as far away as before, she grabbed the referee’s shirt and yanked him forward. Wilson’s head collided with the back of Mila’s, causing both of them to fall to the mat and Elizabeth to free herself and get away.

Zack: Well that’s one way to break the cloverleaf! If I’m the referee, I think I’ll be staying out of reach for either of the girls for the rest of this match. But it got Elizabeth what she wanted, Lyn.

Lyn: I feel like that is Lannister’s mission statement in life. ‘She got what she wanted’.

Mila made it back to her feet, shaking her arm a little bit as she headed towards her opponent. Elizabeth used the ropes to get back to her feet as Mila went to grab her leg again. But she surprised her with a discus punch to the jaw as she got closer. Elizabeth scooped her up and fell backwards into a stun gun across the top rope. It caused Mila to begin coughing violently before Lannister scooped her up from behind into a back suplex. Before she got up again, she rolled over to unload furious elbows into her arm and shoulder.

Zack: Elizabeth has an experience advantage on Mila, and it’s coming into play here. Mila might have given her too long to collect herself, but she was trying to clear her own cobwebs first.

Lyn: A little too long. With more experience Mila would have followed up... Something like a kneebar so she could clear her head while keeping on pressure. It just isn’t something you can teach.

She rose back to her feet, and went to apply the armbar again. But Mila pulled her arm free of the grip, and rolled in the other direction. Lannister went after her till she got to the nearest ropes. She pulled her back to her feet, and snapped her left arm over the top rope. Martin moved away, still clutching her arm in pain before Lannister darted in with a high knee to the back of her head. Mila bounced chest first against the ropes before Elizabeth used a judo throw to snap her by the arm over to the canvas. And before Mila could stop her, she immediately applied her cross armbreaker!

Zack: There it is! The RED WEDDING!! Elizabeth has it locked in perfectly, and Mila’s in big time trouble!

Lyn: Was there ever a wedding less joyful? It is cinched in tight!

Elizabeth cranked on her arm, trying to inflict more damage as the referee knelt near Mila to check for the submission. Martin’s face was in agony as she desperately tried to find the ropes. Unfortunately her arm wasn’t long enough. When she realized it, she tried to use her feet to scoot them both towards the ropes. Elizabeth tried to stop her, using one hand to try to pull them in the other direction. It was working too until Mila rolled into her, and got to her feet with Elizabeth still attached to her arm. Martin shouted in pain as she tried to clasp her hands together.

Zack: Look at Mila!! She’s standing up in this hold, and Elizabeth isn’t letting for a second! What’s she trying to do?!

Lyn: ...I think... I think she’s trying for a powerbomb, Zack! Or at least something as close to that as she can muster!

Mila tried to lift Elizabeth off the mat, and SUCCEEDED! She dropped her on the back of her head, causing the break as Lannister rolled onto her side. Mila rubbed her arm and shoulder for a moment as Elizabeth tried to get up. She immediately applied a surfboard before falling backwards to a seat in a surfboard dragon sleeper!

Zack: I’ve never seen her use that, let’s call it the MIDNIGHT CLUTCH!

Elizabeth’s arms flailed at each side, trying to grab hold of anything she could. Mila’s face tensed as she tried to add more pressure with the right arm, causing Elizabeth’s movements to begin to slow. After a few more seconds of struggling, she finally tapped Mila’s arm and the referee called for the bell!

Zack: How do you like that?! A brand new submission I’ve never seen Mila use, and with one arm, she’s pulled off a massive victory tonight!

Lyn: I was expecting a good old fashioned Cattle Mutilation tonight but this is fine!

Gaby: Here is your winner by submission……………….’MIDNIGHT’ MILA MARTIN!!

Martin got back to her feet with a smile, still favoring her left arm when the referee raised the right one. The crowd gave her a very boisterous response as she headed towards the ropes. A smile finally began to form on her face as she gently navigated herself to the floor.

Lyn: This is a much deserved win as far as I’m concerned, Zack. After dealing with Lannister at length all this time, Mila puts a kibosh on her.

Zack: This has to be the biggest win so far in Mila’s Future Shock career, and I have a feeling they are gonna start piling up!

As she headed up the ramp, she gave a salute to the crowd before the show headed elsewhere.

The slow-tempo guitar and electronic vibrations of All Good Things’ “For the Glory” fill the arena, as Gemma Pierce steps out from behind the curtain, greeted by a largely negative reaction from the crowd. The World Piercer’s usual arrogant smirk is replaced by more of a stoic sneer, her usual antics on the ramp and with the fans forsaken for just a simple march down the aisle. She slides up onto the apron, stepping into the ring and practically barking at Gaby to hand her the microphone--something the Wildcat does, albeit somewhat reluctantly.

The fans aren’t so polite.

Whatever’s on the World Piercer’s mind, the fans aren’t so keen on letting her get it off her chest just yet--something Gemma’s keenly aware of, and something that seems to aggravate the Liverpudlian even more than she already was. It’s a few seconds before the fans’ boos start to die down, and Gemma lifts her mic up.

Gemma Pierce: I had thought, after the...less than satisfactory way our last match ended...that Kaya Crimson and I would be facing each other again. I had thought that would’ve been an obvious match to make--rather than reward failure with more bloody TV time, rather than reward hype instead of substance, rather than allowing some jumped up tart to monopolise an entire show with a bloody bikini shoot, we might actually have some fucking wrestling on a wrestling show.

Gemma Pierce: How hopelessly quaint.

The thought of the last Future Shock episode causes the World Piercer’s scowl to spread a little more--for their part, the fans actually sort of agree with her, as begrudgingly as they may want to, but it coming from the lips of someone like Gemma, they don’t just start applauding. Eventually, the redhead shakes her head, pushing the hair out of her face, and pressing onward.

Gemma Pierce: If not on the next Future Shock...then surely, it would be a match worth making here, at Anarchy. Surely, it would be a match worth having again, here, in Detroit--but no. Neither of us found a place on this show, apparently in favour of an office worker stepping into the ring, or some random cunt who decided to pick the weakest prospect she could find to make a statement against. We’re opting to ignore the real wrestlers in favour of the bikini models and daydreamers of the world.

Gemma Pierce: That. Is not. Good enough.

Gemma Pierce: KAYA!

Name-dropping the Rockstar Revolution is the first thing Gemma’s done that’s actually, one-hundred percent, garnered a positive reaction--although that love is certainly not directed at the World Piercer herself.

Whether or not she cares is a different question.

Gemma Pierce: I know you’re back there, somewhere; I know the competitor in you can’t be any more satisfied with that match than I am, so come out here an--

“Our Truth” by Lacuna Coil interrupts Gemma’s speech, bringing the crowd to a roar as Kaya Crimson makes her way out from the back, finally answering the call. The commonly joyous woman is morose, probably still feeling the effects of her career as of late. With a frown, she stares down from the ramp, looking as if she was going to talk from there. Shrugging, she opts against it and hits the ramp, getting into the ring before long.

Kaya Crimson: You’re damn right, I’m not. Yes, I’m happy that I managed to get a victory against someone like you, but I’m not the one to try to let something like a roll-up define me. I hear what you say, Gemma. I get what you say. Matter of fact, I say we can nip this in the butt and appease this with a very simple question.

There’s a brief pause.

Kaya Crimson: Gemma, will you do me the honor of fighting me again?

The crowd doesn’t mind the question. In fact, they like what they hear. Gemma twists her neck side to side before shrugging her jacket off, dumping it outside the ring. The sneer on her face gives way to a more sly smirk as she raises her mic up.

Gemma Pierce: Right here.

Gemma Pierce: Right now.

Whatever thoughts are plaguing the World Piercer, she moves to within a few inches of Kaya, all but pressing her forehead against the other woman’s, that half-smirk/half-sneer lingering on her face. Both fists clinch as the normally savvy technician seems more inclined to just start throwing punches and see how things go this time.

Zack: Wait a minute, we may be getting a bonus match tonight!

The crowd gets very into it as the two start to head towards each other. But as they get closer, that’s when “We Own It” by 2 Chainz begins to play. Adam appears at the top of the ramp with a microphone in his hand. Both women look towards him as he holds up his hand.

Adam: I would love to do this match tonight, and I can tell by the crowd that it’s something they would love to see as well. But the fact is we only have a limited amount of time on this show tonight.

The crowd is obviously disappointed by this news.

Adam: But I’ll tell you what I will do. I’ll book this match for our second annual UK Invasion on June 12th when Future Shock goes to Glasgow. It’ll be the “World Piercer” Gemma Pierce and Kaya Crimson one on one, I give you my word!

Both women seem to agree to the idea, and look back at one another again.

Adam: Glasgow, ladies. Save it for Glasgow.

A graphic for the match appears on the screen showing the match now scheduled for June 12th at the 2nd UK Invasion. As the two women look across at one another, we head to a commercial for the next Pay Per View, Wipeout.

The show heads back to the ring with the “Wildcat” Gabrielle Crimson once more standing in the center with her microphone.

Gaby: The following tag team contest is set for one fall, and it is for the Future Shock Tag Team Championship!

Zack: It’s time for the first of our two championship matches tonight with two of Future Shock’s best tag teams about to square off for the titles.

Lyn: They’ll square off, Zack but when the smoke clears, when the dust settles... Who walks out of it with the titles?

The opening guitars of Muse’s “Supermassive Black Hole” comes out through the speakers, which gains a pop from the crowd in attendance. As the guitar changes briefly to cite the drums starting up as well, the two women of The Next Generation, Caitlyn Storm and Mandy Gray, emerge from behind the curtain. The two girls turn to each other and fistbump before heading down the ramp.

Gaby: On their way to the ring, hailing from Charlotte, North Carolina and New York City, New York, they are Mandy Gray and Caitlyn Storm, THE NEXT GENERATION!

With Gaby’s intro out of the way, the girls pick up speed and all but throw themselves under the bottom rope and push themselves to their feet. Together still, they head for the turnbuckles. Mandy stands on the second rope while Caitlyn on the top one next to her. The two girls pose for a moment before jumping down and retreating to their corner, where they discuss something between them as the music fades out.

Zack: These two girls did very well in the tournament that crowned the first tag champions on Future Shock, only coming up short in the semifinals. Caitlyn and Mandy have been eagerly anticipating this opportunity ever since it was announced.

Lyn: They have and I can’t think of one team who deserves it more. It’ll be an interesting dynamic however I suspect with one member of the tag champs certainly playing the power advantage.

“Deuce” by Kiss begins to play, Jem runs out of the back and onto the stage area with a title belt around her waist, sprinting across to the far side and bouncing on the balls of her feet as she encourages the crowd to get a little louder. Charging across to the other side of the stage, she once more cheer leads before heading back to the middle of the stage. Meeting her partner there, Angela with her title belt on her shoulder, the two girls double high five and turn it into a hug that breaks as Jem charges down to the ring, sliding underneath the bottom rope. Angela follows her down the ramp, slapping hands with fans. Jem pops up to her feet and makes a tour of the corners, climbing to the middle turnbuckle and throwing her hands into the air to get a cheer from the crowd before moving onto the next one. As Angela reaches the ring she walks hops up onto the apron and raises one clenched fist in the air before she enters the ring and walks to the NHB corner to await the start of the match, then passes the titles to the referee.

Gaby: Approaching the ring at a combined weight of 306 lbs, the team of Jem Michaels and Angela Hinchcliffe. They are the reigning and defending FFW Future Shock Tag Team Champions...NO HOLDING BACK!!!

Zack: Never have two women been more proud to call themselves tag team champions than Angela and Jem. They traveled around the world for 10 years never holding a tag title all their own till a fateful night saw them capture the gold here in Future Shock.

Lyn: You’re singing my tune ladies. I respect their hustle Zack and as much as I want to see NG do this... I don’t think I have anything to complain about for a retention.

Referee Jennifer Stringer takes the tag titles from the champions and shows them to the challengers. Gaby takes them with her as she leaves the ring. All four women shake hands as the bell sounds, with Mandy and Jem starting for their respective teams. The girls circle each other briefly before they lock up in the center. The slightly taller Jem starts to push Mandy back against the ropes. She immediately gives a clean break before the referee can even ask, and takes a step back. Gray comes forward into a drop toe hold from Jem, who then applies a seated side headlock. She grinds it in as Mandy gets back to her feet and tries to shoot her off. But Jem slips behind her, applying a hammerlock before shoving her chest first into the ropes. Mandy hits them and stumbles backwards into a back suplex from Jem, who goes right back into that side headlock.

Zack: We’re starting off with some technical wrestling here, and Jem is showing us her skills. This is easily the first match of the night where the opponents aren’t trying to rip each other apart.

Lyn: Academic hammerlock in there and the combination with the rebound into the suplex is choice.

Once again, Mandy gets back to her feet still caught in the hold. She fires a couple elbows into Jem’s back, and then shoots her off into the ropes. She catches her on the rebound with a Japanese armdrag. As soon as the redhead gets to her feet, Mandy darts forward with forearm to the jaw that sends her backwards into the corner. Gray fires a few extra shots, and then sends her across to the far corner. Jem strikes chest first as Mandy darts past her, grabs her head as she bounds over the top rope and drives it into the top turnbuckle. The tag champion stumbles backwards before Mandy climbs up top and comes off with a flying shoulder block to take Jem down. She makes a cover with a hook of the outside leg as Stringer drops to make the count.

Zack: Mandy looking to catch Jem off guard, and take the tag titles in record time!

Jem kicks out almost immediately, and Mandy pulls her towards the corner and tags her partner. Caitlyn steps through as the pair fire Jem into the near side, and catch her on the rebound with a double flapjack before Mandy rolls out to the apron.

Lyn: It’s all a game of precision and mat work here tonight. Just two teams who are testing each other.

Jem starts to get up, only for Caitlyn to pull her the rest of the way. A side Russian leg sweep takes her back down to the canvas before Storm leaves her feet with a double knee drop into her abdomen. Jem starts to roll away, and get back to her feet. This gives Caitlyn the opening to start firing kicks into her body. Three unanswered shots land on Jem’s ribs before Caitlyn delivers a savate kick to her back that sends her forward a few steps. As soon as the redhead turns around, Storm uses a spinning heel kick right to the jaw that drops the redhead before she makes a quick cover with the referee in position.

Lyn: Caitlyn Storm’s legs should be considered a lethal weapon and there’s the pin!

Once more, Jem kicked out as the two struck the mat. Caitlyn pulled her to her feet, and then over her shoulder before she ran towards the corner with a snake eyes. Jem’s head bounced off the turnbuckle before Caitlyn grabbed her head for a springboard bulldog off the ropes.

Zack: The challengers have put together a fantastic game plan here. And judging by all the head shots, it looks like they are going for a knockout.

Storm pulled Jem back to her feet, only to get surprised when the redhead drove her back into the neutral corner. It knocked the wind out of her briefly before Jem began firing shoulder thrusts into her body one after another. She fired Caitlyn across for the ride, and caught her on the rebound with a sling blade clothesline that put her down. Jem reached towards her corner to make the tag to Angela, who came in quickly. Jem grabbed Caitlyn’s feet, and looked to be shooting her with a catapult before Angela connected with a big leg drop across her chest. The brunette snatched Caitlyn into a rear waistlock, hoisting her back to her feet with ease and then sending her flying with a release German suplex.

Zack: The powerhouse of NHB is showing you why she’s known as that, and Caitlyn’s getting thrown around with ease by Angela here.

Lyn: Oof. The problem is Mandy may not fare much better and NG has to figure out how to shut down Angela here.

Caitlyn started to get up until Angela dropped an elbow across the back of her head. Once more, she showed a power display as she scooped Caitlyn up in both arms over her shoulders for a running Samoan drop. Hinchcliffe immediately rolled her over, and tightly hooked the outside leg for the cover before Stringer went to count.

Lyn: ...Or get smushed. You know what. Both work!

Caitlyn kicked out in time before the three came down, and Angela rolled her onto her stomach before driving knee drops into her back. She pulled her back to her feet, and hooked her head under one arm. She went for a DDT, but Caitlyn hooked the top rope with her arm on the way down, causing Hinchcliffe to hit the back of her head.

Zack: What great ring awareness from Caitlyn right there. She needs to compose herself for a second now that she has Angela down.

Caitlyn started to move towards her corner to make the tag before Angela got back to her feet. She seized the blonde in a rear waistlock to pull her back to her feet, but Storm began firing back elbows with both arms to each side of her head. It sent the powerhouse reeling back a few steps before Caitlyn caught her coming towards her with a Pele kick to the top of her head! The tag champion collapsed on the mat before Caitlyn dove on top of her to make a cover.

Zack: Where did that come from?! Caitlyn with a Pele kick that may result in new tag champions right here, Lyn!

Angela managed to get her shoulder up, causing Caitlyn to roll off the cover. The former fitness instructor got back to her feet, and headed for her corner only to find Angela was holding onto her foot. Caitlyn drove forearms across her back trying to get free, but the brunette wasn’t letting go. Angela made it back to her feet, holding Caitlyn’s foot under her arm before jerking her forward into a bionic elbow that put Storm on the canvas.

Lyn: That bionic elbow quite literally crowned Caitlyn to the ground.

Angela dragged the blonde by her feet towards her team’s corner, and made the tag to Jem. The redhead climbed up to the top rope immediately as Angela headed to the apron. Jem left her feet with a frog splash in mind, but Caitlyn brought her knees up. It folded the champion in half as Caitlyn rolled to her stomach and began to crawl towards her own corner. She made it this time, and made the tag to Mandy. Gray immediately headed up top, perching herself as she waited on Jem to get up. She came off finally with a shiranui to the chest that drove Jem back to the canvas. Gray hooked both legs on top of her for the cover as the crowd came to its feet.

Zack: Mandy taking a page from Mickey Scarborough with that shiranui, and we may have new tag champions!

The count never finished before Angela came back in, delivering a low dropkick to Mandy’s chest that sent her rolling off the cover. She headed back out before the referee could admonish her, and both women lay on the canvas now. Jem began to rise about the same time as Mandy, who tried to grab her from behind. But the redhead caught her with a stunner instead! Gray flopped backwards on the mat as Jem sat slumped over, trying to get herself together. Angela implored her to make a cover.

Lyn: Jem countering with a stunner and I expect someone backstage went “Hey wait...” But she needs to make the pin! That was out of desperation!

The redhead finally rolled over to her hands and knees, and crawled across to her opponent to make a cover with a hook of the leg. The crowd came to life again as Stringer dropped into position to make the count.

The count again didn’t finish, this time because Caitlyn came off the top rope with a diving elbow drop across Jem’s back. She was about to head back out till she saw Angela coming into the ring. Caitlyn made a beeline for her, driving her back into the corner as Jem and Mandy began to get to their feet about the same time.

Zack: It’s starting to bust loose now, Lyn! All four are in the ring, and the referee has lost control of this one!

Lyn: Everyone’s on the afterburners and someone’s about to get scorched!

Angela scooped up Caitlyn and threw her over the top rope to the floor in a heap. She scooped Mandy up from behind onto her shoulders as Jem headed for the top rope. The redhead came off a spinning heel kick before Angela fell backwards with an electric chair! Jem dove into the cover as Angela went to intercept Caitlyn as she was climbing back into the ring.

Stringer called for the bell as Angela doubled back to help her partner to her feet. The pair embraced before the referee raised both their hands in victory.

Gaby: Here are your winners….AND STIIIIILLL Future Shock Tag Team Champions…..NO HOLDING BACK!!

Stringer handed both girls their tag titles as they climbed up onto adjacent corners, and raised the titles high to a loud crowd reaction.

Zack: I’ll tell you what, Lyn! I think Next Generation gave these two one hell of a run for their money, but NHB prove once again why they are the best tag team in Future Shock!

Lyn: All respect in the world to Mandy and Caitlyn but you’re right Zack. The way things are getting, there may not be a team out there that can meet NHB.

The girls hop back to the canvas, and help their opponents to their feet. They raise Caitlyn and Mandy’s hands as well to a pop from the crowd.

Lyn: Now that’s what I’m talking about...

As the foursome share kudos in the ring with admiration from the crowd, the Pay Per View heads elsewhere.

The Takeover

As Anarchy cuts to the back, we find Adam’s girlfriend, Missy, heading through the hallway before she passes the door to Bri’s office. Two men dressed in suits stand on either side of it, much like the ones that were on the last Future Shock. However, she keeps walking until the door opens and she turns around to see who comes out.

Voice: Thank you, Miss Singer.

Someone said from the other side of the door before finally stepping into view of both Missy and the live crowd, and immediately earning some boos. Missy manages to pick her jaw up from the floor after a few seconds of staring at…. Her twin sister; former SVW Vice President, Cassandra Steen

Missy: What the hell are you doing here? You have no reason to be here, other than to get up to your usual tricks. So what is it this time?

Cassandra simply rolls her eyes as she smooths her skirt, likely from sitting down.

Cassandra: Not that I need to answer to you, but I probably have more reason to be here than you do now.

Missy: How on earth do you figure that? Your brain really isn’t wired right is it? I’m starting to think Mum must have dropped you on your head a few times when we were kids.

Cassandra: Since you seem to be a little slow on the uptake, sis, I will spell it out in small, easy to understand words just for you. I am here to be better than you ever were. And let’s face it, that’s not really going to be difficult is it? You didn’t exactly set the bar very high for me.

Missy starts to look rather annoyed. She clenches a fist at her side, contemplating whether it would be worth the assault charge to just smack her in the face. Looking at the two men in suits either side of her, she thinks better of it.

Missy: I thought we already established that I’m better than you… you know, when you tapped out in the middle of the ring at SVW. Or did you forget that little detail. Besides, I was a wrestler in Future Shock, so I don’t see how you parading around backstage will ever show anything other than the fact that you know how to put one foot in front of the other… so, bravo.

Cassandra gives a laugh, which only makes Missy even more annoyed.

Cassandra: I am going to be doing a lot more than just parading around backstage. I have just completed the paperwork for my signing.

Missy: Your signing? You’re going to be managing someone on the roster?

Cassandra: No… I am going to be on the roster. Or I suppose now I have just signed the final document, I already am.

It’s Missy’s turn to laugh, once the shock has disappeared from her face. She holds up one finger for Cassandra to give her a minute as she holds her side, and tries to stop laughing.

Missy: You… on the roster…

Cassandra: Yes. And I am going to be better than you ever were.

Missy: Oh sweet baby jeebus. You’re gonna get your ass kicked so badly!

Missy looks at Cassandra for a moment more before she cracks up laughing again. She contains herself enough to shake her head at her twin and start to walk away down the corridor. Still laughing as she does. As Cassandra shows a knowing smile as her sister walks away, she snaps her fingers as her security detail follow her elsewhere. The show then cuts back to ringside.

The bell sounds as we head back to the ring, with the “Wildcat” awaiting with her microphone at the ready.

Gaby: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and the winner receives a Future Shock Championship match!

Zack: One of the two women we are about to see will be heading to the UK to challenge either Gillie Barnes or Harley Shannon for Future Shock’s top prize. And you couldn’t find two more diverse personalities.

Lyn: And they’re completely different too!

The lights in the arena sharply cut off, leaving everything in complete darkness. The chiming of a clock is heard echoing in the darkness, followed by a chipper, circus like chime tone. As the tone chimes on, a vibrant gold spotlight shines down on the top of the stage. The circus chimes are soon replaced by the opening chorus of “Villain” by Wild Fire.

"Tic tic toc, the time bomb clock
Ticks grinning ear to ear here baby
Tic Tic Toc, the time bomb clock
ticks counting down...
tic, tic stop!"

At the exact moment “stop” is sung, the song kicks into full gear, setting off a series of shimmering gold strobe lights going off on either side of the ramp. A few seconds pass before the controversial redhead, Valerie McKinley makes her way out from behind the curtain and stands in the immediate center of the stage, standing in the gold spotlight. Coming out behind her and standing next to her was her manager, one Kyle Kilmeade.

"You know I speak in riddles,
And I’m plotting to destroy
Villain as I always was
Crazy is as crazy does"

Clad in a mid-thigh length leather jacket worn open over her gear, Valerie looks around at the crowd showering her with a rousing chorus of boos. She looks over at Kyle and the pair simply shake their heads. The strobe lights begin to lessen in intensity as the pair makes their way down the aisle, her arms at her side and a focused look on her face. As she makes her way to the ring, the fans on either side of the aisle make their displeasure at her appearance rather noticeable, which Valerie simply dismisses with an arrogant flip of her hand.

"My sanity's in short supply
Mad as a hatter, hey surprise!
T-T-T-Ticking bomb on the inside
Livin' with the villain pacing in my mind."

Gaby: Ladies and gentlemen, making her way down to the ring, being accompanied by Kyle Kilmeade…..from Providence, Rhode Island…….Valerie McKinley!!

The boos grow louder as Kyle hops up onto the apron and climbs into the ring. Valerie hops up onto the apron and spins around so her back is resting on the ropes. With her head bowed, she lifts both arms up towards her head and has her pointer finger and thumb on both hands close to her head. She lifts her head up and extends her arms out, her fingers pointing out at the crowd like pistols. She then makes a motion like she was firing her finger guns at the crowd before turning around to see Kyle already holding the ropes open for her. She steps through the open ropes and into the ring.

"I'm blowing up the mystery
And all the pretty things you see
Light flame to fuse
And Sparks will fly
You said goodnight
Now say goodbye."

Once in the ring, she walks around with her arms extended outward, reveling in the heat from the crowd. She walks over to the corner and peels off her jacket, letting it drop to the apron as the lights return to normal and her music fades out. She rests her back against the turnbuckles and brushes a few stray strands of hair out of her face, awaiting the start of the action.

Zack: Valerie McKinley feels like she should have the title shot, that she doesn’t need to go through anyone to get it. And she’s welcome to her opinion, but she has to earn it tonight against the Hall of Famer and former Future Shock Champion.

Lyn: I can’t fault her for having a high opinion of herself, but I mean high as in maybe the top of a three story building, not cutting the stratosphere... If Andi has her way, back down to earth Valerie goes.

[CUE THE SOUNDCHIP! An 8-bit version of the song from the Goonies start playing as the main lights dim down in the arena, with small star spotlights in a variety of colors flying around the crowd. 8-bit stars fill the videoboards, right up until the words start and Andi Takata comes sprinting out of the back to hit her mark. ]

[Andi hops into place, already in her Magical Girl pose, with blue and white sparkling pyro popping behind her, and the videoboards all exploding into pixellated color madness! The bassline kicks in and Andi dances for a moment before she starts to head for the ring, taking her time to enjoy her 'Starlights'!]

#Here we are, Hanging onto strains of greed and blues
#Break the chain then we break down
#Oh it's not real, if you don't feel it
#Unspoken expectations
#Ideals we used to play with
#Finally taking shape for us.

[By this time, Andi has reached the ringside fans, and cues them up for the dance party!]

#What's good enough (good enough)
#For you is
#Good enough (good enough)
#For me it's good enough (good enough)
#It's good enough for me
#Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah!!!

[And when Pacman whirrs down, Andi punches the air above her and makes her way back around the ring to get to the rest of her Starlights, before heading up the steps and into the ring....]

#Now you'll say You're startin' to feel the push.... and pull
#Of what could be and never can
#You mirror me... stumblin' through those
#Old fashioned superstitions
#I find too hard to breaaaak
#Maybe you're out of place whaaaat's

[The song builds up again, and Andi, after running the ropes by this point, stops in the middle, to rally EVERYONE up to join her in a big ol' Caramelldanse! And most do!]

#Good enough (good enough)
#For you is
#Good enough (good enough)
#For me It's good enough (good enough)
#It's good enough for me
#Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah!!

[Andi runs up the turnbuckles for one last go! Keep dancing everyone!]

#Good enough (good enough)
#For you Is
#Good enough (good enough)
#For me.. It's good, it's good enough
#It's good enough for me
#Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah!!!!

[Andi finally hops down as the song fades away....]

Gaby: And her opponent, representing the Burning Star Express from the cosmos, please welcome….’THE LUCKY STAR’ ANDI TAKATA!!

Zack: You’d be hard-pressed to find anyone more beloved by Future Shock fans than that woman right there! She came within an eyelash, Lyn, of recapturing the gold at Genesis. And her only path back to the title goes through the 1 Percenter.

Lyn: You have to believe that Andi wants it just one more time, Zack. One more walk of glory, one more moment of raising the Future Shock title high overhead.

Referee Melinda Daivs checks both women as Gaby leaves the ring. Immediately after that, she calls for the bell just as Andi is pounding the top turnbuckle trying to get the crowd even louder. She starts pacing back and forth, asking Valerie if she can hear that. The Detroit crowd only gets louder still as Andi heads to the center, waving her forward. The redhead looks out at the crowd with a seemingly repulsed expression on her face. She joins Andi in the center, who is quite animated at this point. The pair lock up in the center, and Valerie pushes Andi back into the corner. Davis calls for the break, which she gives before piefacing Andi backwards. That only served to fire up Takata more as she caught the redhead with a short knee to the ribs, and then shoved her back into the same corner. Andi leaned back, and unloaded a knife edge chop into her chest followed by three more. She jerked the 1 Percenter out of the corner into an inverted atomic drop before bouncing off the near side to take her down with a clothesline.

Zack: Andi opening up early with those vicious chops right to Valerie’s chest, looking to make it as red as her own hair!

Lyn: Stiffer than one of Mai’s cocktails, and they’ll knock you on your ass all the same. Always love a good inverted atomic drop...

Valerie started back to her feet, only to get jerked into Andi for a belly to belly overhead suplex that sent her crashing to the mat. McKinley started to rise again, only to get pulled into a second belly to belly. This time when she landed though, Andi took off towards the ropes. She rebounded off the near side into a rolling thunder senton. She was about to go for a cover before Valerie shoved her off as the referee was getting into position. The 1 Percenter got back to her feet with Andi circling around from behind, this time planting her with a belly to back suplex instead. Valerie was a little punch drunk when she popped up this time, and Andi used the ropes for a springboard into a tornado DDT! The acrobatics brought the fans to their feet as Andi hooked the outside leg for the cover, and Davis wasn’t far behind.

Lyn: Takata came to play tonight and here’s the cover!

Valerie kicked out, once more shoving Andi off the cover. But the space princess didn’t slow down, once more using the ropes for a springboard. McKinley got to her feet, only to catch a back elbow from Andi to the jaw that put her down again.

Zack: Is Andi Takata fired up or what?! Valerie hasn’t even gotten out of the blocks yet, and Andi’s like a whirlwind of offense!

Andi headed for the corner, but not to climb up to the top rope. She crouched and bounced on her feet, waiting for Valerie to get back to her feet. The 1 Percenter was a little slow to do so before Andi bolted towards her, and left her feet with a knee strike to the jaw that flattened Valerie. Takata doubled back for the corner, and this time, she headed up to the top rope. The crowd rose to their feet in anticipation as Andi looked ready to fly before Valerie rolled out of the ring to the floor with Kyle. Takata hopped down to the mat as the fans booed Valerie for getting out of the way.

Zack: They may not like it here in Detroit, but Valerie did the smart thing right there, Lyn. Andi was building up one hell of a rally there, and McKinley wanted no part of it.

Lyn: It’s what she’s good Zack. Ring awareness. Space. It’s just her attitude that could use a day at the spa, but I’m sure there are those who would disagree.

Kyle helped her to her feet, and gave her some advice. She looked up to Andi, and started to slide in the ring until Andi went to get her. Then she slid back out again, informing the referee that she needed to keep Andi back before she came back into the ring. Davis pushed Andi back to the other side of the ring, and then went back to count Valerie on the outside. Takata shrugged her shoulders, and stepped out on that side and took off around the corners towards the redhead. Valerie saw her coming, and immediately rolled into the ring. Andi slid in after her, only to catch a knee drop to the back of her head as she did.

Lyn: Oof. That... That looked less than pleasant. Can we get a replay of that? You can see just... Damn, Zack. Full... Full on contact of the knee into the back of Takata’s head.

Zack: That is concussion worthy impact right there from Valerie. She doesn’t care if Andi gets put back on the shelf again, not as long as she gets what she wants.

The blue blood stomped at the back of her head repeatedly before she jerked her to her feet into a front facelock. Several knees to the head followed that before she shot her into the corner, where Andi collided between the turnbuckles into the post. A smile began to form on Valerie’s face as she pulled Andi back out of the corner, grabbing her head and dropping her with a swinging neckbreaker. She dropped to the mat, grabbing Andi’s head and executing a gator roll as Andi was rolled in every direction for a few seconds until Valerie pulled her up. As soon as she did, she lifted her into position for a stalling vertical suplex.

Zack: More smart strategy from Valerie there. She knows Andi is running in high gear, and she’s trying to sap a lot of that energy and wear her out. I’ve seen Caroline use that move as well.

Lyn: A stalling vertical is your bread and butter or any good technical wrestler. As you said, slow it down, run down the pace of your faster opponent... You’re bringing them down to your speed.

McKinley then rolled her over, grabbing both legs in a pinning predicament before the referee slid into position to make the count.

Andi got her shoulder up since she wasn’t able to kick out easily. Valerie floated across, and began firing elbows into the side of her head. Takata wasn’t able to cover up in time before the blows struck. Then Valerie got back to her feet to some encouragement from her manager.

Zack: A near fall for Valerie there, and she’s punishing Andi for not staying down for three. I’d be curious to know what kind of insight Kilmeade can offer her.

Lyn: I imagine Kyle’s advice begins with “Have you tried working the shaft?”

Andi rolled away from her to try to get up as well, catching a back heel kick to the ribs as soon as she did. McKinley landed several forearms to her head before she sent her into the corner. Andi struck back first before Valerie darted in behind her, leaving her feet to grab Andi’s head into a double knee facebreaker. She immediately goes for another cover, this time pressing her arm against Andi’s head in a grind as Davis drops to make the count.

Zack: Look at Valerie’s arm, grinding into Andi’s head! There’s the cover again!

Andi gets her foot across the bottom rope, prompting the referee to stop her count. Davis pointed it out to Valerie, who once again punished Andi with repeated elbows to the head until she got to her feet.

Lyn: The 1 Percenter is out to give Andi a concussion at this rate, Zack... All jokes aside? I’m terrified to think that THAT may have been the advice Kyle is pushing on Valerie. Concuss Andi. Put her down at any cost.

She pulled Andi up with her, getting her into position for her finisher. But as she leaned Andi backwards, Takata surprised her by unloading with furious right hands to the head to get free. It worked well too, as Valerie dropped her to the mat. Andi quickly got to her feet, collected herself, and darted towards Valerie. The crowd came to its feet as Takata caught her flush with a roaring elbow! McKinley staggered and fell to a knee. Andi glanced around at the crowd, and pointed to Valerie’s head.

Lyn: It looks like one good hit to the head calls for another!

Takata connected with a shining wizard to the back of Valerie’s head, dropping her backwards on the mat before the space princess bolted for the corner. She climbed up top, wasting zero time at all before she left her feet with THE shooting star press landing perfectly. She hooked the outside leg, and rolled back into a cover as Davis dropped to count with the fans counting with her!

Zack: Takata with a shooting star from the heavens above! Andi’s getting a title shot!!

Valerie managed to pop her shoulder up off the mat, causing Andi to double check with the referee who showed her two fingers. Takata rolled to her feet, staggering a little after all the head shots she had taken and the burst of energy wearing off. She headed for the ropes behind Valerie, and began tapping her foot waiting on her to turn around.

Lyn: I think someone is asking for it... Waiting for it...!

Kyle shouted at his client, trying to tell her what was coming as the 1 Percenter began to try to get to her feet. Valerie finally made it as Andi shouted her name. When she turned around to look at her, Andi launched from the ropes into a superkick that connected with pinpoint accuracy on Valerie’s chin. The redhead collapsed like a freshly cut tree before Andi dove on top of her for the cover. The fans came to their feet again as Davis dropped to count.

Kyle jerked Davis out of the ring by her feet, causing the referee to land on her feet on the floor and start shouting at him. Andi glanced up with a look of frustration on her face before she hopped up, and headed for the corner behind Kyle’s back.

Lyn: You bum! You costs-too-much suit wearing, five o’clock shadow, Armani cologne wearing bum!

As Andi was about to jump though, Valerie popped up under her and brought her down from the top rope with an electric chair! The space princess bounced off the mat before Valerie threw an arm across her to make a cover as the referee slid back into the ring to make the count.

Andi’s shoulder popped up off the mat, and Valerie raised her head with a disbelieving look on her face. She managed to make it to her feet, her face turning to a scowl now as she pulled Andi up and set her into position for her finisher.

Lyn: Damn it... Damn it. We’re taking... Damn it. We’re taking a trip to Providence, Zack!

As Valerie was about to drive Andi into the mat, the space princess used a headbutt to make her drop her for a moment. Andi quickly rolled to her feet, grabbed her head, and executed her version of the RKO! The live crowd erupted as Andi went for the cover, and Davis dropped to count.

The crowd got even louder as they heard the bell sound. The referee and Andi got to their feet, and the space princess had her hand raised to a roar.

Lyn: Check the clock for the time of death on The 1 Percenter’s Future Shock Title goals...

Gaby: Here’s your winner...and the new #1 contender…………….’THE LUCKY STAR’ ANDI TAKATA!!!!

Andi leaned against the ropes, trying to gather her reserves before she climbed up onto the middle turnbuckle.

Zack: We thought it was over for Andi, but call it fate or whatever you like...Andi proved us wrong! And one big time Space Crusher is sending the space princess to Invasion to challenge one more time for the Future Shock Championship, Lyn!

Lyn: No matter who wins tonight and walks out as champion, it’s the strong arm of the galactic alliance coming down on them!

Andi rolled out under the bottom rope, celebrating with some of the ringside fans before she climbed up onto the barricade and ran her hands along her waist with a nod of her head.

Lyn: She’s telling us exactly what’s to come and the fans of the D welcome it!

As she celebrated with the crowd, the show cuts elsewhere inside the arena.

The Arrival of the Mistress

When the show returns to the backstage area, the Future Shock fans seem quite happy to see Sara Wilkins. She gives them a rather big smile.

Sara: I want to thank everyone who showed their support for me after what happened with Stacey Sky a few weeks ago. I’m back to 100%, and here to do my job. With that said, let’s take you back to the last Future Shock at the close of the show.

Courtesy of Future Shock - April 10, 2018

Gaby: Here is your winner….and the new ASPIRE RING holder…………...LACEY!!!

Lyn: She is absolutely overjoyed, Zack. You never forget your first... Championship.

Lacey embraced Kyle before he raised her hand, a smirk formed on her face as she held that hand away to admire the ring on her finger. Kyle headed out to the apron to hold the ropes open for her just as the lights went out.

Zack: Wait a minute! Something’s happening!

Lyn: I think... This might be---

The lights came back up as Lacey turned to see a woman charge her. She left her feet, delivering a running swinging DDT that planted the new Ring bearer on the mat. Kyle and Christian both looked back into the ring to see her.

Vivi looked down to the new champion, glancing over her shoulder to see the challenger staring to get up. She took off towards the ropes, delivering a Clothesline from Hell to Angel. With both women down, Vivi looked up as she heard a roar from the Boston crowd. She looked around at them, seemingly surprised at their response.

Zack: Vivi has laid out Angel and Lacey, and Boston LOVES HER FOR IT!!

Lyn: Well if you want to make a statement!

She stepped out onto the apron, and strolled up the ramp. A long look at the throne brought a smile to her face before she sat herself down, crossed one leg over the other and began tapping her fingertips against the handrests.

Zack: I guess we have our answer, Lyn! The throne….the rug….it belongs to Mistress Vivi!!

Lyn: The Voodoo Queen has TAKEN to her THRONE! LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... You may now BOW! TO! YOUR! MISTRESS!

Zack: But what is she doing here?! My guess is we’ll find out at Anarchy two weeks from tonight, only on Pay Per View! I can’t wait for this!

With the Boston crowd chanting her name, Vivi sat surveying the Future Shock Arena as the show faded off the air.

~ ~ ~

As the clip ended, we go back to the live show and find Sara standing next to a seated Mistress Vivi on her throne. She gets a very positive response from the crowd.

Sara: As you can see, I’m here with Mistress Vivi who surprised a whole lot of people on our last show. And the question everyone’s been asking since then is what brings you to Future Shock?

Vivi: Well Sara, Future Shock is where the greatest female competitors in the world come to hone their craft, so why wouldn’t I want to be part of it? Besides, I’ve some experience as a trainer, and there are some competitors here who could use a bit of a lesson.

Sara: You seemed a little taken aback by the response you got from the crowd after taking down two women that the fans really dislike in Angel and Lacey. Was that a new feeling for you, or just an unexpected one?

Vivi: It’s both. I’ve spent the better part of my career either underutilized or underappreciated. So to hear the fans cheering for me after drilling Lacey and Angel into the mat? It was not something I’d thought I would hear. But I suppose even if they’re familiar with me from my time in Sex & Violence Wrestling, they dislike both Lacey and Angel more than they dislike me. So that seems promising.

Sara: Finally, are there particular Prospects on this roster that have caught your attention either for a good or bad reason? Or was what happened two weeks ago already the answer to that question?

Vivi: You’ll see, Sara. You’ll see. But I would advise the roster, both Prospect and alumni, to prepare for the arrival of the one and only High Priestess. Sooner or later, they’ll find out what it means to be in the ring with Mistress Vivi. And that they really should be more careful about making assumptions regarding the ownership of certain thrones.

Sara: I appreciate you taking the time to talk with me tonight, and…..welcome to Future Shock.

The camera focuses in on Vivi’s face before we head back to the ring.

The show cuts back to ringside as we find the “Wildcat” making her way into the ring with her microphone, as you’d expect.

Zack: You want to talk about a match a long time coming? This is it! You can bet Rose Gardner has been chomping at the bit ever since it was announced.

Lyn: Months, Zack. Months. Bri has made it her business to be in Rose’s business for months.

As the fans are settling into their seats awaiting the start of the next matchup, their attention is drawn towards the entrance when they hear what appears to be a woman’s giggle.  What follows is a feminine voice, pleasing to the ears yet firm in deliverance.

Hey ya.
You don't have to love me
You don't even have to like me
But you will respect me
You know why?
Cuz I'm a boss!

After the uttering of the last phrase, ‘Bossy’ by Kelis fully kicks into gear, leaving the fans still somewhat puzzled. Their puzzlement soon turns to a rousing chorus of boos when out from behind the curtain emerges the self-proclaimed First Lady of Future Shock Brianna Singer. Clad in black wrestling boots, a pair of bright orange short shorts, a matching orange cropped top and a long sleeved orange hooded shirt, with the hood pulled down so it covers not only her red hair but her forehead, there is no trace of her trademark smirk on her face as she walks down the aisle.

Gaby: Making her way to the ring……from San Diego, California……weighing in at one hundred fifteen pounds…..she is the self-proclaimed First Lady of Future Shock……Brianna Singer!

The boos rain down on Brianna, who pays them no mind as she makes her way to the steps and climbs up and through the bottom and middle ropes. Once inside, she walks over to the closest corner and climbs up onto the second rope. Yanking her hood back, she raises her hands above her head and glances out around the crowd, playing up to the heat she is receiving. She shrugs her long sleeved shirt and hands it to a ring attendant as she walks over to the corner and awaits her opponent, the music fading out.

Zack: It was two years ago that Brianna Singer stepped into a Future Shock ring, and she was as popular with the fans then as she is now.

Lyn: If anything she was probably more popular back then. I’m just sayin’.

There's a moment of silence and anticipation, as Brianna's opponent won't come out immediately. The audience begins to get antsy with the suspension, until...

You don't own me...

The sultry beats of "You Don't Own Me" by Grace featuring G-Eazy assault the sound system, and as there's no entrance playing on the video wall except for a mess of pink and blue, and the spotlights are now all pink and red, everyone's confused... until they're not. The arena is overtaken by a houseful of cheers as out from the back comes Rose Gardner... or rather, Harley Quinn!

Cosplayed as the Gotham's First Lady, complete with bleached hair split in twin tails and dyed pink and blue, her face painted in white with blue eyeshadow, bright red lipstick and a heart and a diamond suit painted on her cheekbones, a spiked red jacket over a tank top that reads "FFW's Li'l Monster", hot pink and blue hot pants over fishnets and combat boots, and even a baseball bat, Poison struts down the entrance ramp, chewing on her bubblegum and making balls with it that she pops before they get too big. She doesn't quite share high-fives with the audience, but she's clearly playing it for the crowd as she stops at the end of the entrance ramp and leans forward, supporting her upper body on the baseball bat and shaking her booty while she smirks mischievously at Singer in the ring.

After that she kicks the baseball bat up and places it behind her neck, supporting her arms on it while she makes her way to the steps to climb into the ring. She then walks to the far ropes and climbs onto the bottom rope, letting her upper body fall over the top rope as she hangs upside down, smiling at the cheering crowd as she lets the baseball bat fall to ringside (since she's not going to need it anyway), swinging left and right while she's at it. She then brings herself up, throwing herself back into the ring and skipping to her corner while smirking at a disgruntled Brianna.

Zack: Rose didn’t wait to change into her cosplay attire tonight, that’s Harley Quinn! And Future Shock’s Li’l Monster hasn’t taken her eyes off Brianna!

Lyn: ....HAHAHHAHAHAHAHA oh man that’s... That’s amazing... I... No this is the best, hold on Zack, where did I keep that Deadshot mask... Riddler tie...? I swear I had a prop for just this situation after the Catwoman appearance. Nope, can’t find it. Ah well. Still. This is great.

Referee Melinda Davis checks both women as Gaby leaves the ring. She then calls for the bell as a “Harley” chant begins to rumble through the arena. Rose grins as she hears them, but Bri only manages to roll her eyes with disinterest. Rose darts towards her as both of them come out of the corner, causing Bri to duck a clothesline. Rose stopped right behind her, tapped her on the shoulder and caused her to turn around before she began unloading with right hands one after another to the redhead. The crowd responded to each shot before Rose grabbed her head, and sent it into the nearest top turnbuckle. Three shots to the top, three to the middle, and three to the bottom turnbuckle with a leaping senton to her back for the tenth blow drove Singer into the mat.

Zack: We’re barely a minute in here, and Brianna Singer is getting to know those turnbuckles on an intimate level! And Detroit is eating out of Harley Rose’s hands here!

Lyn: ...Does this make her boyfriend Joker or Poison Ivy? I’m here all night folks. I can’t say the same for Bri though!

The referee got Rose to step back out of the corner as Bri started to get to her feet. The cosplay princess snatched her around the waist, and executed an atomic drop that bounced Bri’s head off the top turnbuckle again! She staggered backwards as Rose rebounded off the near side with a lariat clothesline to bring her down to the mat. She bounded up to the second turnbuckle from the inside, and came off with a missile dropkick when Bri got back to her feet. Rose headed for the corner, and got into a crouch as she bounced up and down on the balls of her feet waiting on Singer to get up.

Zack: Rose is pitching a shutout here in Detroit, and this match may not go much longer if Brianna doesn’t find some offense!

Lyn: What is offense!? I wonder if Harl here has Bud and Lou in the back tied up. We don’t have any special equipment for hyenas these days, at least not since Crowley went on to other pastures.

Bri started to move on the mat as Rose began to rise. But instead of getting up, Singer rolled right out of the ring to the floor to collect herself. The crowd only booed as Rose shook her head, and got back up herself. She headed towards the side of the ring Bri had rolled out, looking down at her before she climbed up onto the bottom rope to reach over and grab her by the hair. She pulled her back onto the apron, and tried to get her back in the ring before Bri grabbed her head and dropped back to the floor. Rose’s neck snapped across the top rope, and started reeling backwards trying to get her breath. While the cosplayer coughed and tried to breathe, Bri rolled back inside and darted towards her with an elbow across the jaw. Gardner stumbled backwards before Brianna grabbed her head and delivered a codebreaker that flipped her over onto the mat. She sat up with a proud grin on her face, much to the dismay of the crowd.

Zack: Look at that Cheshire grin, Bri looks like the cat that ate the canary. We can’t forget that Bri once was an active wrestler. She is no novice, and those instincts are showing.

Lyn: It does never go away, I do admit that but Brianna better get her while the getting is good. You never know when you’ll be hit with laughing gas or an exploding pie.

As Rose tried to move, Bri mounted her back and began to scrub her face in the canvas. This also did not sit well with the crowd. The redhead pulled her head up with one hand, and started unloading forearms into her face with the other. She then bounced her head off the canvas and rolled her over into a cover with a loose hook of the leg.

Zack: She wasn’t going to get far with that leg hook for the cover, but I think right now, she’s just enjoying herself.

Lyn: I get that she’s demoralizing the crowd and our Gotham City Siren here, but there’s only so far you can take this!

Rose kicks out as the two comes down. Bri pulls her up by the hair to her feet, and drives her knee into her face. With Gardner stumbling backwards, Bri fires her chest first into the far corner. Rose crashes hard just as Bri bounces off the near side to her, and mows her down with a discus clothesline. The redhead grinned as stepped over Rose, and then kicked proverbial dust behind her onto the slow moving cosplayer.

Lyn: That is the grin of the most smug, Zack. I’m surprised she isn’t wiping her boots with Harl’s face at this point.

Zack: It’s not over yet, Lyn. I put nothing past the Executive Assistant, and I’m sure Rose doesn’t either.

Bri turned around to grab the brunette, but Rose had rolled towards the ropes and was beginning to get to her feet. As Singer approached to grab her, Rose caught her by surprise with a back elbow to the mouth. As the redhead stumbled backwards, Rose whipped her across to the far side. And just as Bri rebounded, the cosplay princess left her feet and delivered an orbit DDT with a couple rotations before she drove her into the mat. Rose sat up quickly, trying to pull herself together to quite a bit of crowd support...at least until they began to boo. She glanced towards the ramp to see Valentina Lozano and Isis Morales strolling towards the ring.

Lyn: Really? I mean... Really? She’s just calling in the Privileged Circle now? Bri’s their co-pilot?

Zack: She’s either got something in mind with them, or maybe this is an attempt to curry some favor with someone in management who isn’t Adam.

Rose got to her feet, and pointed them out to the referee. Davis headed for that side of the ring to investigate as Rose turned back to Brianna. The redhead surprised her with a jawbreaker that stunned her momentarily before she deposited her over the top rope to the floor. The referee doubled back to check on Rose before Bri intercepted her to ask a question. Meanwhile, Valentina and Isis headed around the corner towards the cosplayer.

Lyn: Of course Bri is making sure she can keep the ref rooted to one spot while our clown princess of pugilism gets mugged!

Zack: There’s definitely something going on here we don’t have the whole story for, Lyn. And this is ridiculous!

Valentina pulled Rose up, and shoved her into isis. The Titaness scooped her up with both hands around her neck to chokeslam her to the floor. The crowd got much louder and angrier at this point as both Valentina and Isis put the boots to Rose, while the Executive Assistant continued talking to the referee to keep her occupied. Isis pulled Rose up, and pinned her arms behind her while Valentina backed up a few steps. From there, she bolted forward with her bicycle kick to the jaw that dropped Rose to the floor….at least until Isis pulled her up and rolled her back into the ring.

Zack: A PRICELESS KISS from Valentina, and the mugging on the outside is finally over for the time being! Why are these two helping Brianna?! She’s handled herself pretty well, I thought.

Lyn: Because why try to be competent when you can have people do your work for you... I guess Valentina hiring Ruby inspired Val so much that now she’s selling herself and Isis to the highest bidder. There’s something comedy wise here.

Brianna beamed as she dragged Rose by the foot away from the ropes, and then dropped down to make a cover with a tighter hook of the leg this time. The referee slid into position for the count.

Zack: Singer’s gonna steal this with the help of the Circle!

Rose’s shoulder popped up off the mat before the three, and Brianna wasn’t happy about it. The redhead got to her feet, and began to admonish the referee for not counting right. Rose began to stir on the canvas though as Valentina had climbed up onto the apron, making sure the referee and Brianna were still arguing. As soon as Rose got up though, she bolted towards the “Latin Goddess” with a dropkick to the chest that sent her to the floor.

Lyn: Hey Valentina! Goodbye Valentina!

Isis looked about to climb up onto the apron next when the referee turned back around. Rose turned on a dime, and went straight at Brianna. She caught her with a flying shoulder tackle that knocked her back into the ropes. Rose fired her across to the far side, and bolted towards her to deliver a Supergirl punch that floored the Assistant. She quickly hooked the leg for a cover as Davis dropped to make the count.

Zack: Bri’s teeth may be a lot looser right now, and Rose has the cover!!

Bri managed to get her shoulder up in time, and Rose hopped back to her feet. As Isis was helping Valentina to her feet, Rose took off towards the ropes and executed a suicide plancha onto both of them to drop them to the floor.

Lyn: Harley Rose is clearing the damn table all by herself! ...And she didn’t even need the bat to do it!

She immediately got back on the apron, waiting on Brianna to finally get back to her feet. When she did, Rose used the top rope for a springboard into a flying headscissors that snapped Singer back to the mat. The Assistant began to get up again, only for Rose to use a handspring into an enzuigiri to Bri’s head and dropped her where she stood.

Zack: A little SONIC SPIN action for the Executive Assistant! And Rose is taking on the world here, Lyn!

Lyn: Hashtag #RoseVersusTheWorld seems very apt here. Again!

Brianna used the ropes to help her get back to her feet before Rose pulled her back to the center. She hooked her into position for her back hook swinging reverse STO that brought the crowd to its feet. Gardner went for the cover with a hook of both legs this time before the referee dropped to count.

Valentina and Isis dove into the ring, and Rose rolled right out to get away from them. A smile on her face only widened when the referee raised her hand in victory.

Lyn: If you’re just tuning in. Yeah. Yeah that just happened.

Gaby: Here’s your winner…………………’POISON’ ROSE GARDNER!!

Valentina and Isis then went to help Brianna as Rose climbed up onto the barricade, and then fell backwards into a stage dive amongst her fans.

Zack: Rose has taken care of business here tonight against Brianna, and is celebrating with her fans in the process! But I want to know why Valentina and Isis are out here for Brianna!

Lyn: I couldn’t tell you, Zack. What I can tell you is that Rose just hosed Bri and these fans are loving it!

As Rose was carried by the fans back to the ramp, she hopped back down with a grin to the floor. From there, we head elsewhere.

A Sensational Sacrifice

When the show returns to ringside after a commercial for the UK Invasion coming soon, we don’t find Gaby in the ring. Instead we find Kyle Kilmeade. The live crowd shows him no love whatsoever as he stands alone with a microphone in his hand.

Kyle: Tonight here at Anarchy, I wanted to take the opportunity to show you all someone you’ve been seeing frequently of late. You’ve seen videos of her, and Sara Wilkins got to know her very well. But tonight, you are going to see what she can do IN the ring.

Zack: Well that’ll be a first.

Lyn: Say it with me, Zack. ...’Kay.

Kyle: Detroit...everyone watching at home, I give you…’SENSATIONAL’ STACEY SKY!!

As the opening of ‘Pour Some Sugar on Me’ by Def Leppard starts to play. Stacey Sky steps out onto the stage wearing her ring gear which consists of a black bra-style top, with gold trim. A black and gold cheerleader style skirt, and black boots with a gold trim.

Pour some sugar on me
Ooh, in the name of love
Pour some sugar on me
C'mon, fire me up
Pour your sugar on me
I can't get enough

She stops at the start of the ramp and runs her hands down her sides until she reaches her hips and then stands with her hands on hips for a moment. She looks towards the ring and her manager, and heads in that direction. Ignoring the boos of the crowd, she heads up the steps and joins Kyle in the ring. She looks to him with a smile before he continues.

Zack: Looks like we are getting an impromptu match tonight, Lyn. Stacey Sky wants to compete at Anarchy, and I guess she’s being given the time. There’s plenty of Prospects who I’m sure will be happy to take her up on the challenge.

Lyn: Will it actually BE a prospect however?

Kyle: I want you to watch as Stacey performs at a level none of you have seen here on Future Shock. The first person to come to the ring right now will find out firsthand for this exhibition.

Lyn: Well I don’t know who’s coming out to face her but it looks like Keanan is going to be officiat--

Stacey watches as the camera looks towards the ramp, awaiting which Prospect is coming as referee Angela Keanan heads towards the ring. The camera stays fixed on the ramp before we hear someone screaming. As it whirls back to the ring, we see Stacey attacking the referee. She drives home several fists into her face before scooping her up for an impaler DDT, spiking her face into the mat.

Zack: She needs to be locked up!

With the referee barely moving on the canvas, Stacey steps over her and applies a straitjacket by pulling her arms around her neck behind her to choke her out. The live crowd continues to boo loudly.

Kyle: You’re a brave woman, Angela. I figured it’d be a Prospect, but hey...if you want to test out Stacey, how’s that working for you?

He holds the microphone down to her face, only getting gasps for air and coughing from the official while the boos only grow louder.

Zack: This is ridiculous! Get somebody out here! Angela Keanan is getting choked out!

Lyn: This is completely pointless! What is this even proving!?

The referee’s face starts to darken as Stacey keeps the hold applied until Elanora Harris darts down the stage to quite the pop. Still in her street clothes, she hits the ring and catches Stacey with a dropkick to the chest that sends her backwards. As soon as the blonde gets to her feet, Nora begins unloading with shots of her own. A back leg heel kick to the stomach catches the blonde off guard before Nora seems to be aiming for some kind of a kick. Stacey gets to her feet, and pulled out of the way by her manager as Harris looked about to nail her.

Lyn: Nora comes out to make the save and I’m not sure what was about to take place but I get the sense that Stacey was about two seconds from her clock being cleaned.

Zack: And to a nicer girl it couldn’t have happened! Nora Harris just made a huge difference tonight, and I’m glad she was here!

A furious Stacey gets pulled to the outside, wanting to go back in as Kyle restrains her and tries to calm her down. Nora waves her fingers, inviting her back as Kyle continues to pull her up the ramp before finally making eye contact with her to calm her down. Harris drops to a knee to check on Angela as trainers pour of the back to come help the referee.

Zack: She was supposed to be a guest, but Nora Harris…..listen to them! C’mon back, Stacey! You wanted a fight, Good Lord...Nora is happy to oblige!

Lyn: It seems like we’re looking at a match in the future!

Nora smiles brightly at the crowd reaction while the trainers help the referee out of the ring. Harris takes a seat on the middle rope, looking back to Stacey and Kyle to invite them again but he manages to pull her backstage. The crowd continues chanting her name as Anarchy heads to a commercial for Wipeout.

With a short history of events between Celeste and Lacey shown in a video package, we then head back to the live broadcast as Gaby awaits in the ring with her microphone in hand.

Zack: There’s a lot of people, myself included, who have been waiting for this match we are about to see. It is very rare men ever set foot in a Future Shock ring, but tonight will be an exception. Joining me on commentary is Missy. Welcome back to the booth.

Missy: Thanks for having me again, Zack. I always enjoy being here for Future Shock matches, and I’m looking forward to seeing this one even more than usual!

Gaby: The following tag team contest is scheduled for one fall!

The lights dim as the opening bars of “Turn You On” by Stitched Up Heart hit the speakers around the arena.

Are you awake, You're gonna have to hear the words I say
Don't you try turn away, I'm everything you ever dreamed I'd be
I'll make you wish that you never talked, Back to me
I can't wait to watch your ego bleed
Your pain will set me free

A red spotlight hits the curtain and Kyle Kilmeade walks out and proceeds to hold it open for Lacey to walk through. Stepping onto the stage in front of Kyle, Lacey wears a green and black one piece, which has a deep vee cut all the way to her navel, black fishnet tights and matching green and black boots. She runs her hands down her curves, while giving a little sway of her hips and then stands with her arms folded across her chest and her head lowers.

I'd bite I'd scratch I'd hold you down, Just to turn you on
I'd leave you waiting tied and bound, Just to turn you on
Close your eyes, And come with me tonight
I'd burn this whole room to the ground, Just to turn, just to turn you on

She snaps her head up and flings her arms out at the sides of her in one fluid motion, almost as if someone has just pulled the strings on a puppet. Keeping her gaze straight ahead she slowly smirks before lowering her arms to her sides and making her way down the ramp with Kyle walking beside her in ring gear.

I'll make you beg, I'm gonna teach you things you won't forget
Don't you try turn away, I'm everything you ever dreamed I'd be
I'll make you wish that you never talked, Back to me
I can't wait to watch your ego bleed
Your pain will set me free

Gaby: Making her way to the ring at this time….from parts unknown…..LAAAAACEEEEEY!!! And her partner and manager…..KYLE KILMEADE!!

I'd bite I'd scratch I'd hold you down, Just to turn you on
I'd leave you waiting tied and bound, Just to turn you on
Close your eyes, And come with me tonight
I'd burn this whole room to the ground, Just to turn, just to turn you on

Completely ignoring the crowd at either side of the ramp, Lacey speeds up as she reaches the ring and jumps up onto the apron. Taking hold of the top rope with both hands, she slowly and seductively sways her hips and wiggles her way down and back up, almost like a serpent, before springboarding over the top rope. When she lands in the ring she immediately drops down into the splits and stays there for a moment with her arms outstretched. After getting back to her feet, she climbs up onto the top turnbuckle facing the outside. Pulling something from her top she opens her palm and blows the contents into the crowd.

I can't wait to watch your ego bleed
And all the pain you feel will set you free
If you behave this night will never end
Turn off the lights and start again

The lights shut off completely for a second at the end of the theme, when they come back on, Lacey is standing in her corner sharing some last minute words with Kyle.

Zack: I bet Kilmeade’s lost ten pounds in the last day thinking about this match. But he has no one but himself to blame. He walked into it, and now of all things, Lacey has to carry him.

Missy: It’s like the blind leading the blind! Kyle got himself into this and I am really looking forward to seeing Christian knock him out of it!

Strobe begins to flicker in tandem with the techno intro of "We’re in This Together Now" by Nine Inch Nails. The words begin to screech over the arena as Celeste makes her way out.

I've become impossible
holding on to when
when everything seemed to matter more
the two of us…all used and beaten up
watching fate as it flows down the path
we have chose…

She walks down the ramp with her focus on the ring ahead. After jumping up onto the apron she heads over to the nearest turnbuckle and climbs it. When the chorus hits, Celeste raises both arms up and out to take in the sounds of the crowd as she closes her eyes and tilts her head skyward.

you and me
we're in this together now
none of them can stop us now
we will make it through somehow
you and me
if the world should break in two
until the very end of me
until the very end of you

At the end of the chorus, Celeste hops into the ring from the turnbuckle and cracks her knuckles in preparation for the fight ahead while her theme fades out.

Gaby: Hailing from Miami, Florida…weighing 120 lbs…CELESTE!

Zack: It’s hard not to like Celeste. There’s no pun intended when I say she has an indomitable spirit, and has been looking forward to tonight as much as anyone.

Missy: Celeste has a very bright future ahead of her in Future Shock I think, she is incredibly talented.

Gaby: And her partner….

N-now th-that that don't kill me
Can only make me stronger
I need you to hurry up now
'Cause I can't wait much longer

As “Stronger” begins, blue and white spotlights bathe the entrance ramp after the arena darkens before Christian rises up from the stage. Wearing a flight jacket, he leaps into the air and comes down with two fists onto the stage. As he does this, the video wall looks like he just jumped into space and came back down to the floor. He charges the ring to a roar from the crowd, and slides under the bottom rope to a stop on his knees in the ring.

Let's get lost tonight
You could be my black Kate Moss tonight
Play secretary, I'm the boss tonight
And you don't give a fuck what they all say, right?
Awesome, the Christian in Christian Dior
Damn, they don't make em like this anymore

Gaby: Hailing from Maui, Hawaii by way of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, please welcome….CHRISTIAN KINCAID!!

He nips to his feet, and runs to the middle turnbuckle in one corner to rally the crowd before hopping down to his feet and starting to pull his jacket off.

Zack: Christian Kincaid manages quite a list of names in FFW and Future Shock as well, but this marks the first time he has ever competed in the ring for either one. And let’s call a spade a spade, he has an advantage over Kilmeade in pretty much every category.

Missy: That’s like an understatement of the century. Christian is already miles ahead of Kilmeade in terms of his managing skills, and his in ring skills even more so. I can’t wait to see Christian give Kyle what he deserves.

Referee Stephen Wilson checks all four, and finds a pair of brass knucks in Kyle’s boot that he takes away. The referee stuffs them in his pocket, and calls for the bell to start the match. Lacey starts for her team, as a game of rock, paper, scissors determines Celeste is starting for her team. Christian steps out as Celeste turns her full attention to the redhead, inviting her forward as Lacey lounges against the ropes unimpressed.

Missy: I’m not sure this is the best tactic for Lacey, after everything between her and Celeste so far, this could be a one way ticket to just annoying Celeste further… I can’t wait to see Lacey get some just desserts too.

Lacey headed for the center, and raised her hand in the air to invite Celeste for what seemed to be a test of strength. Celeste looked up at her hand for a moment, starting to raise hers. And before Lacey could thumb her in the eye, Celeste caught her with a kick to the abdomen followed up by a series of chops across the chest. Each shot sounded throughout the arena before the brunette fired her across to the far side. Lacey rebounded into a Thesz press by Celeste, who unloaded right hands into her head. She finally managed to shake Celeste off, and try to get back to her feet. Lacey did that, only to turn and find Celeste hitting the near side ropes with a flying shoulder tackle to put her back down. The redhead popped up, and turned into a second one from Celeste that floored her on the canvas. She got up a third time and ducked her head as Celeste came towards her. The brunette used a leapfrog to jump over her, and land behind her. When Lacey looked up towards her, Celeste delivered a standing dropkick that sent her into the ropes.

Zack: I’m not sure what Plan A entailed, but it might be a good time to go with Plan B! Lacey’s getting hit from every direction, and Celeste’s just getting warmed up!

Missy: This has been building for some time between Celeste and Lacey and it shows. Celeste is staying right on Lacey, and not giving her any chance to pull out any of her usual shenanigans.

Lacey made it back to her feet with Celeste heading straight for her. The redhead ducked her head through the ropes, causing the referee to get between them. Celeste tried to move around Wilson, but the referee kept her at bay as Lacey slinked back into the ring and managed to get a thumb in her eye over the referee’s shoulder after all. Wilson spun around asking her what happened, and only got a shrug as Lacey grabbed Celeste’s head and dragged her face across the top rope. With the brunette blinded and clutching her face, Lacey dropped her with a swinging neckbreaker to the mat.

Missy: Dammit, I spoke to soon. Lacey is up to her usual tricks, and Celeste is going to need eyes in the back of her head to watch out for those.

Zack: I’m amazed the referee expected her to admit that she did poke her in the eyes. What matches has he been watching?!

Lacey put the boots to the back of her head as she tried to get up, then yanking her back to her feet to fire a trio of forearms into her head. She fired Celeste into her corner before turning her attention to the crowd, extending her arms for adulation and finding none. Celeste started out of the corner, but Kyle got a fistful of her hair and yanked her back just before lacey barreled towards her with an European uppercut. Kilmeade maintained that fistful of hair since the referee couldn’t see it, and Lacey took full advantage as she pasted Celeste with forearms to the head.

Missy: Can somebody please just smack him already?! I’m not surprised that Kyle and Lacey are resorting to dirty tactics, even this early on, because they know there is no way they could match up to Celeste and Christian in skill.

Zack: Kyle’s still got a majority of Celeste’s hair wrapped around his fist, and this is where he’s going to be the most handy for Lacey.

Lacey grabbed the top rope, and pressed her foot against Celeste’s throat with quite a display of agility. The referee got to a four count before she let go, and began to give her some verbal static for it. As he did that, Kyle wrapped the tag rope around Celeste’s neck and began to choke her with it. Lacey continued to bicker with the referee as Celeste gasped for air, and was struggling to get free. When Wilson turned back around, he had let go and had his hands on the top rope. Lacey beamed towards him before darting towards the corner with a running high knee to the jaw that rocked the brunette against the turnbuckles again.

Zack: Celeste desperately needs to get out of that corner! She’s getting mugged every time the referee argues or reprimands Lacey.

Missy: If Kyle is so desperate to get involved Lacey should just tag him in. See how he deals with it when Celeste has the chance to smack him back! I’m betting he wouldn’t last more than thirty seconds max.

Lacey jerks Celeste out of the corner towards the center of the ring. With a front facelock, she begins to drive knees into her head one after another. Again, she takes a moment to ask for crowd support and gets none at all. But that was all the time Celeste needed as she shoved her backwards. With Lacey trying to keep her balance, Celeste grabbed her arm and fired her across to the far side. Lacey rebounded quickly, only to get scooped up and drilled with a spinebuster to the mat. This brought the crowd support in droves as the brunette tried to catch her breath. The camera caught the impression of the tag rope where it had been around her neck moments earlier.

Zack: There you go! Lacey’s not going to get much love from this Detroit crowd, and it gave Celeste the opening she needed. But she’d do well to stay on her or tag.

Missy: That was beautiful to see! After being choked with the tag rope though, Celeste could maybe do with a breather, but I’m guessing she’s running on anger a fair bit, and I know how much of a boost that can give you sometimes.

She finally made it to her feet, and took off for the ropes. She bounced off the far side into a rolling back splash as Lacey started to sit up. Quickly getting back to her feet, she took off for the ropes again and delivered a leaping double leg drop across her chest before hooking a leg for the cover. Wilson slid into position to count the fall.

Zack: Double leg drop well executed. She might have knocked the wind out of Lacey!

Lacey’s shoulder came up in time as the two struck, and Celeste got back to her feet. She pointed towards the top turnbuckle, getting a loud response from the crowd before heading in that direction.

Missy: As much as I want to see Celeste and Christian win this, I’m a little glad that Lacey kicked out. I haven’t gotten to see Kyle get pummelled yet!

Celeste headed for a neutral corner, and made her way to the top rope. With amazing agility on display, she started to walk down the top rope towards the center of the ring. She was about to turn her attention to Lacey before Kyle shook the ropes, and caused her to straddle it. Lacey rolled to her feet, snatched her head as she sat on the top rope, and brought her back in with a DDT to the canvas. A wide grin on her face, she laid back across her for a cover with her hand up to count with the referee.

Missy: That is one of the most arrogant covers I’ve seen, she deserves a smack for it. Come on Celeste, get up and belt her!

Celeste easily got her shoulder up, and surprised Lacey by hooking both of her arms and rolling over into a crucifix pin with Lacey kicking her legs desperately to get free!

Zack: It was a lazy cover, and it may cost her right here!!

Lacey finally managed to get her arm free before the three came down, and got back to her feet. She shoved the referee, giving him a piece of her mind while Celeste rolled to her feet behind her. The brunette crouched near the ropes, waiting on her to turn around. Lacey finally did, but as Celeste took off, Kyle pulled her foot out from under her and caused her to faceplant on the mat.

Missy: Oh for pity’s sake. It’s hard to avoid being near the ropes in a match, but Celeste is going to have to try it at this rate, Kyle is using all of his dirty tricks to try and prevent the inevitable.

Lacey glanced back to her corner as Kyle had his hand out for the tag. She smiled brightly as she headed towards him, and made the tag. Kyle stepped into the ring to a roar of boos, and stepped onto Celeste’s hair before pulling her up by the arms. It caused the brunette to shout in pain, and he finally let her go before the referee got to five. When she rolled onto her stomach to get up, he stomped the back of her head. Kilmeade jerked her up to her feet, grabbed her head, and executed a bulldog before rolling her over for the cover.

Missy: I swear if he gets the pin here I’m gonna go down and belt him myself!

Celeste kicked out, and shoved him off the cover. He got back to his feet as she got up, hooking her head for what looked like a DDT. But Celeste drove him backwards into the corner. She raised up to lay into him before he ducked his head through the ropes, and caused the referee to catch her hand before it struck and tell her to move back.

Zack: It was that close! Celeste was ready to lay into Kilmeade right there, but the referee is just doing his job right here! There’s not a trick a guy like that doesn’t know, and he wants no part of Celeste when she’s fighting back.

Missy: Because he knows she would pummel him and leave him a quivering mess on the mat! It’s about time he manned up and just let her beat on him, it’s what the fans want!

As the referee pushed Celeste back, he stepped forward and gently reached into the pocket where the referee put the brass knucks. Wilson didn’t notice as he pulled them out and slid them onto his hand. He quickly went back to the ropes, turning away from the ring before the referee let Celeste advance. The brunette came towards him, and he spun into her with a right cross to the jaw. Celeste dropped like a rock as Kyle tossed the knucks to Lacey as the referee checked on Celeste. He dropped down to make a cover again.

Missy: Motherfu----

Zack: Quick thinking by Christian there! Celeste got her jaw jacked, and she’d never live it down if Kilmeade had pinned her tonight!

The fall didn’t finish as Christian pulled Kyle off the cover. Kilmeade got to his feet as the referee went to get Christian out of the ring. Lacey dropped the knucks down her top while Wilson wasn’t looking. Meanwhile, Kyle reached over the referee’s shoulder and slapped him across the face.

Missy: Nice save by Christian, but it doesn’t help much at the moment because he’s not legal in the match. Celeste definitely needs a break now and Christian is fresh as a daisy… and I’m sure he’s chomping at the bit to give Kyle what he deserves.

As the referee pushed Kyle backwards, Christian ducked back into the ring and helped Celeste towards his corner. He stepped back out as Kyle looked out to the crowd, antagonizing them when the referee turned around to see Celeste make a tag.

Missy: YES!!!! Go get him Christian!

Zack: Kilmeade doesn’t realize the complexion of this match has just changed behind him!

Christian hopped into the ring, and tapped Kyle on the shoulder. Lacey pointed behind him, trying to warn him. And when he turned around, Christian laid into him with right hands one after another right to the head. The crowd roared in approval as he fired Kyle across to the far side, and caught him coming back with a belly to belly overhead suplex. Kincaid rolled to his feet, and waved Kyle to get up with the fans solidly behind him.

Missy: I feel like Christmas has come early! This is one of the best things I’ve seen this year. Take your time Christian, make him suffer!

Zack: Kyle should spend more time focusing on the ring! And Christian’s telling him to get up and take some more! I’m not sure how much Kilmeade can stand!

Kyle stumbled to his feet as Christian dove towards him, leaving his feet to deliver a hurricanrana that spiked his head into the mat. He gave a point towards Missy at the booth for using one of her moves, and got back to his feet. Lacey was about to come into the ring when Celeste popped up on the floor behind her, and jerked both her feet out from under her. The redhead’s face smacked the canvas as Christian headed for the corner.

Missy: That was almost as good as getting to deliver it myself! I’m so buying Christian a massive gift basket after the show. And Celeste has Lacey in check, this is how it should be!

Zack: Kilmeade’s down, he never should have tagged in! And Kincaid’s going up top, a place he enjoys being! Wait!

As he was climbing, Celeste was back in the corner and asking for the tag. Christian hopped down off the second turnbuckle, and headed for her to give her the tag. The brunette bounded over the top rope as Kyle was starting to get to his feet. Celeste bolted towards him to deliver her jumping cutter that bounced him off the mat before she made the cover!

Lacey was starting into the ring before Christian darted around the corner and pulled her into a rear waistlock to restrain her as the referee dropped to count.

Missy: Ha! Lacey can’t help him and Celeste is in a great position now to bring this one home!

Wilson called for the bell to a pop from the crowd as Christian rolled back into the ring with her. The referee raised their hands, but Christian pulled his hand down and instead raised Celeste’s other hand instead.

Missy: That had to feel good for Celeste, I know it was good to see. Kilmeade got pinned!!!!

Gaby: Here are your winners…...CHRISTIAN KINCAID...and CELEEEEEEEEEEEEESTE!!!

Zack: I knew as soon as Kilmeade checked into this match, the potential for it to go south in a hurry was very possible! And now, Celeste has a measure of revenge and got to do what many others would love to do tonight!

Christian congratulated her, and got a hug in return for it from his client. Celeste looked back to Lacey, letting her know she wanted her now one on one. Lacey rolled her eyes with a fake yawn as she helped her manager out of the ring.

Zack: I guess we know what Celeste wants! She’s taken out Lacey’s manager, and now she wants Lacey all to herself! Hey Adam, I think that sounds like a hell of a match!

Missy: She’s pinned the manager, now she wants to pin the client… it’s like Future Shock Pokemon, gotta pin them all!!

Christian held the ropes open for Celeste before the pair hopped down to the floor, greeting a few fans as Anarchy headed to a commercial for Relentless.

Glasgow Bound

The show heads to the back with the Director of Future Shock joining Sara. Adam gives her a handshake and a hug as he greets her.

Adam: Welcome back, Sara.

Sara: Thank you, Adam! With everything going on tonight, I wanted to get a word with you on a few topics.

Adam: Of course.

Sara: First of all, we now know of two new signings that are coming to Future Shock: Mistress Vivi and the twin sister of your girlfriend, Cassandra Steen.

Adam: Yeah, I am very happy to have Vivi around here. And I’m almost as surprised as you are about Cassandra wanting to be a Prospect. That one came out of the blue, but it’s official now. She’s on the Prospect roster, and I’m positive Missy will be monitoring her progress very closely as time goes by. And there’s three actually.

Sara gave him a confused look as she counted out the two women she just mentioned on her fingers before looking back to him.

Sara: Three? Are you sure?

Adam: Positive. I just got done signing the third to a Prospect contract.

Sara: Oh, who’s that?

Adam: Nora Harris!

That drew a loud pop from the Detroit crowd, which in turn, brought a smile to the Director’s face before he continued.

Sara: Wow! That’s awesome! Future Shock is bursting at the seams right now. I also wanted to ask you about what we saw earlier with Angela Keanan and Stacey Sky.

Adam shook his head for a moment.

Adam: Unfortunately what happened has caused serious injury to Angela. I’m not sure if we’ll see her again or when. But someone can tell Kyle after he realizes what just happened to him in the ring that he and his client are being fined $5,000. All of that will go towards Angela Keanan’s medical expenses and pain and suffering.

Sara: That’s a pretty steep fine. But after what she did to me, I can’t say I’m opposed to it. Finally, I wanted to ask you about June 12th on the second annual Invasion special free on cable television!

Adam: Oh yeah, we’re taking Future Shock to Glasgow, Scotland at the Hydro. And you already heard what one match will be: Gemma Pierce and Kaya Crimson will meet that night. But I’m also adding an Aspire Ring defense when Lacey defends against Celeste! And the winner of the match coming up will meet Andi Takata for the Future Shock Championship in the main event!

Another pop from the crowd follows that.

Adam: Gillie and Harley are both very special girls, and have been part of Future Shock since the reboot. They are linchpins of Future Shock, just like I said on Twitter earlier today. But only one of them can be Future Shock Champion, and I don’t know about you but I’m ready to find out which one it will be. I wish both ladies luck, but they don’t need it honestly. They have skill and talent, and that’s always been better than luck anyday.

Sara nods in agreement as we head back to ringside.

The lights dim over the arena with a spotlight on Gaby in the center of the ring as we head back to ringside.

Gaby: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is your main event of the evening for the FFW Future Shock Championship!

Zack: This is what they came to see! And I don’t know about you fans watching at home, but I’m torn on this one. I like and admire both of the girls we are about to see. Lyn, what about you?

Lyn: I respect both women entirely Zack, so it’s hard to decide just... Who to root for. No matter who wins, someone is going home without what I think they both deserve.

“Let's take you back to the concrete streets!
Original beats with real live mc's!
Playground tactics!
No rabbit in a hat tricks!”

Gaby: Her opponent from Sheerness, England... “OLD SCHOOL” GILLIE BARNES!!

Gillie comes out to no music behind her, but that’s because she comes with an old school looking boombox i.e. ghetto blaster on her left shoulder as well as her ring gear and a large piece of cardboard in her right hand. The boombox plays a loud rendition of “Concrete Schoolyard” by Jurassic 5 as she continues walking down the ramp. Gillie puts down the cardboard and the boombox before doing a backspin dance move on the cardboard. With a grin she kips up and rolls into the ring to the warm reaction of the crowd. She hangs on the ropes as she waves before doing some last moment stretches.

Zack: I would imagine that Gillie Barnes has never studied and prepared for a match as much as she has this one! While these two girls have met before, Gillie is going to be looking for a different outcome tonight.

Lyn: You have to imagine that Gillie has rewatched their match when Harley took the Aspire Ring from her countless times.

There’s a short silence as the arena falls dark, building up the tension before “Seven Notes in Black” by The Vince Tempera Orchestra starts to play and a single spotlight falls on the middle of the stage, straight onto the flame haired Future Shock Prospect with the Future Shock Championship held high above her head. As the crowd cheer wildly for her, Harley holds the pose for a couple of moments, until the song stops playing for a couple of seconds. The girl was wearing a leather jacket over her ring gear; her head tied up in a bun, held in place by two chopsticks.

Gaby: Weighing in at 122 lbs, standing 5’6” tall and coming from Hanover, New Hampshire. She is the reigning and defending FFW Future Shock Champion...HARLEY SHANNON!!!

After a couple of moments of silence the song starts up once more - with a more eerie tone and at that moment Harley starts off down the ramp, shedding her leather jacket before reaching back and pulling the chopsticks out of her hair and shaking her head to let her bright, flame red hair fall down around her shoulders. As she got to the bottom of the ramp, the girl picked out a young fan at ringside, giving the chopsticks to the fan before she slides into the ring and popped to her feet. Heading for the corner, Harley climbed to the middle rope, holding the title high into the air to get cheers from the fans before she dropped back down to the canvas in the corner. She held the title up in front of her, giving the faceplate a kiss before she surrendered the championship to the referee and waited for the match to start.

Zack: Harley Shannon has been making them tap ever since she captured the Future Shock Championship! She took it from a very dominant Anna Giovanna, and knocked Andi Takata at Genesis in the same fashion. Could that be the key tonight to leaving Detroit with the title?

Lyn: We might be looking at another tap out coming. Gillie’s tapped out to her once before already.

Referee Jennifer Stringer takes the title from Harley, and shows it to Gillie before raising it high above her head. Gaby takes it with her as she leaves, and the referee calls for the bell. Gillie and Harley meet in the center, and share a handshake between them. They take a moment to look out over the large crowd that came to see them, and immediately go into a collar-and-elbow tie up in the center of the ring. Gillie uses her power advantage immediately to break the hold, and then snap her arms arounds Harley’s wait to bring her down with a belly to belly suplex. Shannon tries to roll away from her, but Gillie keeps the grasp and pulls her back up to do it all over again. This time, she lets the champion go long enough to deliver a clubbing blow to her lower back when she rolls away.

Zack: Gillie’s already trying to catch the champion off balance here, and kicking the match off with a solid pair of belly to belly suplexes.

Lyn: And continuing the assault with a hard forearm to the back for good measure. Barnes has her target picked out it looks like.

Harley rolls away again, this time into the ropes. She makes it back to her feet with Gillie in hot pursuit, only to catch the brunette with a back elbow to the jaw. It stuns Barnes briefly before Harley lunges forward with a headbutt. Gillie stumbles backwards a couple steps before Shannon takes off for the ropes behind her. The champion rebounds as Gillie turns to face her, and catches “Old School” with a handspring back elbow once more to the jaw. With the challenger staggering backwards, Harley drops down with a leg trip. As soon as the challenger lands face down on the mat, the champion goes for a crossface submission. She isn’t able to hold it long before Gillie manages to get her hand across the nearby bottom rope, causing the break.

Zack: Harley with a crossface right there, not that it lasted long. You know what she’s setting up for already, that neck crank she loves to use and has won many matches with, Lyn.

Lyn: Barnes saw it coming and made sure to be as close to that rope as possible. She wasn’t about to let herself get caught up so quickly again.

Shannon was back to her feet, and circled around behind Gillie as she was starting to get up. A trio of forearms to the back of her neck and head connected before Harley left her feet, and delivered a lungblower that flipped Barnes over to the mat. She shoved her onto her back, and immediately went for a cover as Stringer dropped to count.

Zack: Harley with her first pin attempt of the match, and Gillie’s having a little trouble getting out of the blocks here!

The two hadn’t even hit the mat when Gillie kicked out. The champion quickly got back to her feet, once more circling behind Gillie to deliver a full nelson into a bulldog. The champion then grabbed her arms, and applied a scissored armbar (Rings of Saturn) submission.

Lyn: Now we have a scissored armbar and Harley is just about working every and any part of Old School’s upper body.

Harley clasped her hands tightly as she pulled back on Gillie’s arms and head at the same time. The referee dropped down in front of Gillie to look for a submission, but found none as the brunette only grimaced in pain. The referee asked again and again, but Gillie began to use her feet and try and turn them in another direction. She managed to get her foot across the rope finally, causing the break before Harley got back to her feet. The challenger was trying to get to her feet when a leg drop across the back of her neck put her right back down on the mat, and Harley stepped over her from there to sit and apply a camel clutch.

Lyn: This is what champion dominance looks like Zack. Sure, Barnes likely studied Harley up and down but judging by that camel clutch and a Rings of Saturn before? ...Well, she wasn’t the only one studying.

Once more, the referee dropped down to see if Gillie wanted to submit. But the challenger showed no such intention as she tried to reach for the ropes. Unfortunately, none were within reach. Harley pulled back further on the hold, making Gillie’s face a mask of anguish before she started to push up to her hands and knees. Barnes climbed back to her feet, and fell over backwards to crash Harley’s body into the mat. Gillie rolled away from her, holding the back of her neck before she got back to her feet. “Old School” climbed to her feet as Harley was doing the same behind her. Shannon bolted towards her, only for Gillie to catch her coming with a swinging cradle suplex!

Zack: Excellent presence of mind there, Lyn! I believe they call that the moss-covered three handled family gredunza!

Lyn: Gesundheit, Zack.

The challenger leaned against the ropes as she tried to pull herself together. She finally moved towards Harley as she was trying to get up again. Gillie hoisted her over one shoulder, and took off out of the corner with a running powerslam to the mat. Still rubbing the back of her neck, Gillie pulled Harley back to her feet and shoved her into the ropes. Harley bounced off them right into her waiting grip as Gillie executed a leg hook Saito suplex. She dropped to the mat, and made a cover before the referee joined them.

Lyn: Barnes with a teardrop suplex after a powerslam and she’s finally getting some offense in!

Just as the three was coming, Harley rolled her shoulder in time. Barnes rolled off the cover, and onto all fours. When the challenger began to try to get up, Gillie scampered across with a headbutt to the side of her head. Shannon tried to get up again, eating another scurrying headbutt before Gillie got back to her feet.

Zack: One of Gilie’s signatures right there, and the challenger is in firm control at the moment! I imagine her mind is going through a thousand permutations of the next move she can hit right now.

Harley pushed up to her feet not too long after that before Gillie scooped her up high, only to fall backwards into a back suplex. She headed towards the corner from there, making her way up to the top rope. She gave her forehead a couple slaps and dove off with a diving headbutt that landed perfectly. Barnes went for the cover again, hooking the outside leg in the process before Stringer dropped to count.

Zack: Gillie’s sensing victory here, and got every bit of that headbutt off the top!

Again, Shannon got her shoulder up time. Gillie shook her head, and got back to her feet one more. She leaned down to grab Harley, but the champion surprised her with a knee to the side of her head instead. It dropped Gillie to a knee before Harley rose to her feet, and bounced off the near side with a knee trembler to the side of her head that put her down on the mat.

Lyn: I think Gillie was going for the exact same move but Shannon was simply better here. That’s been the story tonight, Zack.

Shannon dropped to a knee as she tried to recover and pull herself together. As soon as Gillie started to sit up though, the champion immediately stepped over her and applied a stump puller in the center of the ring. Gillie’s face wrenched in pain as Harley locked in the hold, prompting the referee to get in position to check if Gillie wanted to quit. Barnes made it clear she wasn’t interested in that, but that didn’t deter Harley in the slightest. She tried to increase the pressure the best she could as Gillie’s face contorted in massive pain and discomfort.

Lyn: I tell you Zack, I feel like Harley has every single inch of the way beaten Barnes at her own game. Now a single leg inverted Boston Crab?

Gillie used her free hand, and started firing shots into the side of the champion’s head. It took three of them before Harley finally let go of the hold. The challenger rolled to her hands and knees, wincing in pain as she got back to her feet. As soon as she did though, Harley charged in from behind, sending them both into the ropes before the champion went for an O’Connor roll for a pin! The referee dove into position to count the fall.

Gillie kicked out in time, and even managed to shoot Harley off in the process. Shannon used it for a headstart as she darted for the ropes. By the time Gillie got to her feet, Harley used a baseball slide between her legs. She popped up, spun Gillie into position for a swinging vertical suplex.

Zack: Harley seems like she’s trying to pick up the pace here, not her usual offense! But that may be wise, since Gillie is likely well schooled on what she normally does!

The flame-haired champion started towards the corner, and making her way up to the top rope. She perched herself up there, waiting on the challenger to get up. As soon as Gillie finally made it to her feet, Harley launched herself looking for a hurricanrana! But Gillie caught her in midair, and landed a sitout powerbomb! The champion bounced off the mat on impact before Gillie leaned forward into a cover!

Zack: What a counter!! Gillie’s gonna be the champion!

Once more, Harley’s shoulder came off the canvas before the three. Gillie seemed a little exasperated at this point before she climbed back to her feet. She pulled Harley up, and fired her across into the ropes. Shannon left her feet on the rebound, looking for the same hurricanrana! But Gillie caught her legs, and spun into a powerbomb! The crowd erupted as Gillie got back to her feet, and pounded the mat. The brunette shouted to the crowd as she walked around, extremely proud of hitting the move!

Zack: She finally hit it, Lyn! It took nearly two years, but Gillie Barnes hit the spinning powerbomb! And…..I’d advise going for a cover though!

Lyn: She looks as though she can hardly believe she even did it! I believe she told me it’s called the Tommyhawk but... COVER HER GILLIE!

Gillie was so excited she finally hit the move that it didn’t occur until a few seconds to go make the cover. She immediately dropped into position, and hooked both legs for the count when the referee fell to do her job.

Zack: You couldn’t have gotten a coat of paint between Stringer’s hand the mat, but this Future Shock Championship match will continue!

Shannon’s shoulder popped up again at the last possible second, and Gillie sat up on her knees. She made it back to her feet, and pulled Harley up with her. It looked like she was going for a gutwrench powerbomb this time, but Harley shoved her backwards. As the challenger came forward, Harley connected with an inverted stomp facebreaker! Both women collapsed to the mat as the crowd showed their appreciation for what they had seen so far.

Lyn: Gillie was going for Valerie Lamb’s Lamb to Slaughter but caught a knockout shot for her troubles!

The referee had started her count, and it wasn’t until she got to six that Harley started sitting up. Gillie began to do the same not long after. The champion rose to her feet as Gillie began to turn to find her. Shannon caught her with a flash kick followed by a roundhouse kick into a backward thrust kick! All three landed on Gillie’s jaw before Harley went for the cover. The fans came to their feet as the referee began to count!

Gillie managed to get her foot across the bottom rope before the three struck, even though no other part of her body budged after impact. Harley sat up with a dumbstruck look on her face.

Lyn: I... I am shocked. So is Harley for that matter, Zack!

Zack: No one has ever kicked out of the Eruption! Ever! But Gillie did it!

The champion slowly made it back to her feet, shaking her head as Gillie slowly began to sit up. The brunette didn’t make it far before Shannon came off the near side with an axe kick to the back of her head and neck. Barnes clutched it in pain before Harley dragged her to her feet again, and looked to be setting up for a full nelson slam.

Zack: They can’t have much left in the tank at all, and Harley’s looking to close the show right now!

As Harley went for the slam, Gillie used a hip check to bump her backwards. The flame-haired champion darted right back for her as Gillie spun into her with her palm strike to the face! Harley collapsed like a house of cards before Gillie went for the cover with the referee not far behind.

Zack: OLD SCHOOL JAM!!! Where did that come from?!

Stringer called for the bell as Gillie sat up, and her jaw fell open. Mallory and Jake rushed the ring from backstage, and helped her to her feet as the referee raised her hand and awarded her the title!

Fireworks began to erupt around the Little Caesars Arena as Gillie stared down in disbelief at her new championship. Mallory took the title, and proceeded to snap it around Gillie’s waist as she continued to be shocked. Jake raised her hand as Harley got back to her feet slowly….and raised the other.

Zack: On her first attempt, “Old School” proved to be cool again, and Gillie Barnes has captured the title she’s wanted for nearly two years! Congratulations, Gillie!

Lyn: A twist of fate if I’ve ever seen one! In their first match, Harley took the Aspire Ring from Gillie and now right back, Gillie claims the Future Shock title from Harley! Their careers may be intertwined for a long time.

Gillie and Harley exchanged a hug before the former champion gave her some applause before rolling out of the ring. Harley looked up at the FFW logo hanging as Gillie climbed the turnbuckle, snapped off her title and hoisted it high above her head.

Zack: Harley Shannon gave a defining performance tonight, she has nothing to be ashamed of! And maybe...just maybe….she’s looking at the next step in her journey! But for tonight, the Future Shock Championship just went...OLD SCHOOL!!

Lyn: Thank you... And good night from the D!

Zack: Thank you for joining us! Future Shock Anarchy is in the books, and Invasion...here we come!!

A jubilant Gillie in the ring surrounded by her friends is the final image before Future Shock Anarchy fades off the air.
