Live from the AllState Arena in Rosemont, Illinois
September 29, 2018

The first image we see is that of a green felt poker table with two out of three chairs being occupied. As the shot pulls back, we can see both Jake Chandler and Chaotic Temptation’s O.E. Ayano in the middle of a blackjack game. Upon closer inspection, it looks like Jake isn’t in danger of hitting 21 yet with a face down and a 3 showing. He peered at the face down card, his face screwing up as he thought over what he wanted to do.

Jake: Okay, hit me!

The self-described Wild Card of Chaotic Temptation (probably not owing to her card playing abilities) slowly raises two fingers and puts it down on the deck before dragging it slowly from the top and then dropping the card on its back next to Jake’s others.

O.E.: Hit you with the hot hand... AH! ...7. Looking like a 10. Best hope that face down’s a face, my dude. Lemme see, lemme see.

The Orochi looks down at her own face down and an 8. She taps her index finger on the top of the card a few times before her eyes glance back at the top card on the deck. She sucks through her teeth.

O.E.: Knew we shoulda stuck to Spades... Aight, aight, aight... Hit me!

Jake That can’t be good.

He tells her this as he drops a second 8 down on the table beside hers.

Jake: Two snake eyes!

O.E. Ayano stares down at the card for a few moments before taking a short peek at the face down card in question next to her two 8’s. The crowd can be heard laughing from watching this back in the arena as O.E. has to quietly count on her fingers... And then recount because she messed up count again until she quietly nods to herself.

O.E.: So what’s it gonna be, you gonna hit or you staying?

Jake wastes very little time making this decision.

Jake: I’m definitely staying. How about you? You’re sitting at 16 right now…

O.E. Don’t worry about me my dude. This ish I got sitting face down... Too much for you right now. You staying? I’m staying? Well then let’s flip ‘em up!

Jake nodded his head, and turned over his face down card to show he had a 9.

Jake: Well I’m at 19 here, so show me what you got!

O.E. quickly flips up her face down card to reveal...

...

A Magic: The Gathering card that had been taped onto the front side of the face down card. It depicts a grumpy looking goblin with a trench shovel on his hip and a sword hilted on his back with a beige bandana tied around the back of his head. She nods approvingly.

O.E.: 20! Got me an 8, an 8, and Goblin Ringleader’s converted mana cost is 4 so boomph, boomph, boomph, womp, womp, womp... Hit that 20. This is easy fam. Academic.

As she lifts up the card, the tape from the back of the Magic card seems to wear thin, falling off and revealing a 2.

O.E.: ....

Jake cocks an eyebrow at his fellow blackjack player, and shakes his head.

Jake: It’s a good thing you don’t play on the casino sites…

O.E.: I mean you ain’t wrong. I been kicked out of two already. Yo funny story, me and Gillie once hit up Atlantic City and I had to win back her--

The Orochi never gets to finish her story as she’s quickly cut off by an excited “Old School” Gillie Barnes who all but barges into the backstage, holding up a thin portfolio with a wide smile on her face.

Gillie: Guys it’s official! I’m part of FFW! I just went through my paperwork with Adam! I’m over the flipping moon right now!

O.E.: Eeeyyyyyyyy...!!

Jake: Congratulations, Gillie! That’s cool!

He got up from his seat to give her a big hug, and offered her the vacant chair at the table.

Jake You can join us. O.E. was just cheating at blackjack.

O.E. looks around and whispered (loudly) at Jake, as Gillie’s face looked as though she was completely unsurprised.

O.E.: Ayo man, keep your voice down! I mighta won some scratch off some of the backstage people. Anyway, I wasn’t cheating. It was ‘alternative play’.

Gillie mouthed wordlessly ‘Atlantic City all over again’ as she was hugging Jake back as tight as ever. The camera catches Mallory Bennett about to walk in from the locker room before she catches sight of Gillie and Jake hugging. Her face goes blank as she quietly walks past the scene without the three of them noticing her at all.

Gillie: I’d love to. Mal’s probably busy preparing for her match. She kept pacing back and forth in her locker room from since we got here. Might be best to leave her to that.

O.E.: Yo forget all that, we should go celebrate! Try and design you some new merch. “Old School” book covers for all your back-to-school needs! “Old School” branded calculus phones. THE ONLY PROFESSIONAL WRESTLER IN FFW HISTORY TO BE SUPPORTED BY TEXAS INSTRUMENTS! That TI-81 brand calculator.

Jake: I hope that Pell Grants pay for those then…. I’d just have her some t-shirts, black and white pictures like the old days...OHH! You could have “Old School” piggy banks with Gillie’s head with a slot in the top to put the money. Come to think of it, we could use that for spare change at home…

Gillie: Guys!  I only just got here. It might be a bit soon to be talking about merchandise. How about we just play a few rounds... Oh and Jake. About the uh... Gift. Thank you. I didn’t get to say it before.

Jake: You’re welcome, Gillie!

As the trio were about to start another game, they could hear the pyro beginning to go off in the arena and headed for the monitor. Then we fade to the opening music video for Sin & Sacrifice.

As the video concludes, “All I Do Is Win” by DJ Khaled plays throughout the AllState Arena to a roar from the crowd. Pyrotechnics erupt from the stage and the ring posts as the camera pans the crowd.

Zack: Welcome to FFW’s fall tradition! Welcome to Rosemont, Illinois in the shadow of Chicago! Welcome to the unadulterated enthusiasm of 18, 209 fans from some 44 states around the country! But most importantly, welcome to SIN & SACRIFICE!!

Mai: The only event in FFW that has as much history as Unstoppable, and there’s been just as much history made at this event! We got 4 championships to be decided tonight, including the FFW Championship!

Zack: You got that right, Mai! Leona Vega defends the prize she chased for over a year, the FFW Championship, against a woman who hasn’t held it since 2010 in Emma MacNamara! The Ultraviolence, Evolution, and No Surrender titles are on the line too! But let’s stop talking about the action, and start getting to it! It’s all yours, Maggie!

After a clip showing Ji-Hu trying to rip the Andi Takata cosplay off Rose in their previous match, we go back to the live show and find Maggie standing by in the ring.

Maggie: The following contest is scheduled for one fall.

Zack: You just saw what led to what we are about to see, folks. Ji-Hu has an obsession seemingly with Andi Takata, but has turned some of that rage towards Rose for just dressing like her for a match.

Mai: That’s because both Rose and Andi are losers. Plus she only did it to mock Ji-Hu, and she got what she deserved. We might get to see the Full Rose tonight if she tries that again.

As a thumping percussion kicks off over the speakers a green strobe backlights the entrance rampway. As the intro of “Rain Of Brass Petals” grows more intense, with the sound of grinding metal interspersed throughout the lights get more intense.

Smoke shoots out from the stage as the percussion gives way to the proper drum and bass beat and out walks ‘Kumiho’ Ji-Hu Myeong as the regular arena comes back on. She surveys the crowd for a moment, soaking in jeers before she turns up her nose and starts her way down the ramp, doing her level best to stay out of reach of any of the fans reaching over the railing attempting to slap fans with her.

When the Korean woman gets to ringside she grabs the bottom rope and fluidly slingshots herself into the ring between the first and second rope and rolling to her feet.

Maggie: Hailing from Seoul, South Korea, standing five feet tall and weighing in at a-hundred-and-twenty-pounds, ‘Kumiho’ JI-HUUUUUU MYEONG!

At the Ji-Hu raises both hands - five fingers extended on her right hand and all but her thumb extended on her left - and looks skyward, after a moment of soaking in the crowds disapproval of her she lowers her arms and wanders to her corner, leaning against the turnbuckles and waiting for her match to begin.

Zack: I think part of what is driving Ji-Hu is the fact that she hasn’t been as successful as she was when she had her backup with her. It seems like it’s made her more violent and unhinged.

Mai: Where did you get your psychological training from again? Ji-Hu is just fine, and you can ask her after the match if she’s not already talking to herself.

The dance beats of DJ Cutman's "I"m The Boss" blare through the sound system as lights blink in white, baby blue and purple. Skipping and bopping to the beat, Rose Gardner comes out from the back, opening her arms in an airplane stance as she reaches the top of the ramp, stopping and staring into the crowd. She then makes her way down the ramp, highfiving as many fans as possible in the way. As the chorus of the music approaches, she darts to the ring and hops onto the second rope, showing off for the crowd, pointing to herself with her two thumbs as the lyrics say...

I'm the boss!
I'm the boss!
I'm very, very sorry for your loss!
I'm the boss!
I'm the boss!
And just in case I didn't get the point across
I'M THE BOSS!

Maggie: And her opponent, from World 8-8, standing at 5'4"... ROSE GARDNER!!!

Poison then removes her sunglasses and throws it into the audience for some fan before hopping down to the ring and bouncing on the balls of her feet.

Zack: The Diminutive Dynamo herself, Rose Gardner, is making her first appearance at Sin & Sacrifice, and she has a tall task ahead of her with what I assume will be an even more dangerous Ji-Hu than she met weeks ago at Breaking Point.

Mai: What you are going to see is this little cream puff get her face smeared all over the mat, then scream and beg for mercy as Ji-Hu cripples her in the process.

Referee Ashley Pruitt checks both women as Maggie leaves the ring. When she calls for the bell, Ji-Hu immediately goes on attack as she swarms Rose. Relentless forearms and strikes land anywhere they can, backing Rose into the corner before Ji-Hu starts firing European uppercuts to rock her head backwards. A side step follows before she grabs the ropes, and begins firing kicks into the brunette’s body. Each shot connects, as Rose manages to deflect some of the damage before she pushes Myeong backwards. Then it was her turn to return the favor as Rose drove home straight right hands into Ji-Hu’s head, then grabbed it to drag her back to the corner and hammer her face into the top turnbuckle repeatedly. It finally slows her down before Gardner uses a side Russian leg sweep to bring her down to the mat.

Zack: It’s almost as if Ji-Hu got shot out of a cannon, isn’t it? You’d think these two were picking up right where they left off at Breaking Point after the match was over.

Mai: Ji-Hu hasn’t done anything wrong though. The bell rang. If Rose was too busy blowing kisses or thinking about Knuckles, that’s totally on her.

It didn’t take long for Ji-Hu to get back to her feet though, and Rose closed the gap to go get her. As she was coming in though, Ji-Hu caught her with a mule kick to the stomach. It doubled her over for a moment, and gave Ji-Hu an opening to use a snap neckbreaker to the canvas. She swarmed over her again, and rained elbows into the side of her head and neck until she rose to her feet once again. Rose was slow to rise, and got immediately pulled into a snapmare back down followed by a seated side headlock.

Mai: This is classic Ji-Hu right here. She likes to use those headlocks to grind the energy out of her opponents. Rose is a perfect opponent for that strategy.

Zack: That’s actually….very insightful and intelligent. You do have flashes of intelligence sometimes, and they never cease to surprise me.

Ji-Hu grinds the hold in, cranking on her head as Rose starts to get back to her feet. She tries to shove “Kumiho” into the ropes, but doesn’t have much success doing so. Her grip remained tight as Ji-Hu tried to bring her back down to the canvas, but Rose was blocking her at every attempt. Gardner went to fire her off again, and still didn’t have much success. It wasn’t until she lifted her up for an atomic drop that she managed to get free. Myeong staggered forward in pain off the landing, and Rose spun her around right into a tornado DDT. The fans started to get louder behind her as she sat up, and rubbed her head a moment after the extended headlock.

Zack: That’s a hell of a way to get out of a headlock, and it worked like a charm. I bet her head feels like it was caught in a vise!

Mai: Well yeah, that’s kinda the purpose of a headlock, Zack.  If you had ever wrestled and been on top of the industry like me, you would have known that.

The cosplayer got back to her feet, and her opponent wasn’t far behind her in doing the same. Rose took off for the ropes, picking up steam before she caught Ji-Hu with a bicycle kick that planted her back on the mat. Rose hit the ropes a second time, using them for added momentum as she connected with a rolling senton back splash across her opponent. A hook of the leg followed that as the referee dropped down to make the count.

Zack: Rose is looking for a quick ending right here, and we got a count!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

Ji-Hu kicked out, and rolled away from Rose as soon as the two hit. Gardner popped back to her feet, and went to get her as she was getting to her feet. But Myeong surprised her with a palm thrust to the throat. She moved around behind her to execute a hair pull backbreaker after that.

Mai: Ain’t no senton gonna beat Ji-Hu! And this is what you get for trying, you choke on it and get your vertebrae rearranged.

Rose started to get back to her feet, and was dealt a knee strike into her lower back. Ji-Hu shoved her forward into the ropes, only to dart in behind her with another knee to the lower back. She quickly snatched her up into a German suplex, and proceeded to apply a Boston crab to cause her even further back problems. The referee slid down in front of Rose, asking her if she wanted to stop the match. She got a clear no as the cosplayer began looking around for the nearest set of ropes.

Zack: With all this back damage she’s doing, I think Ji-Hu and Steph Stefano could have gotten to be close in another day and time. Be that as it may, Ji-Hu’s keeping the pressure on here.

Mai: See what I mean? She can’t be obsessed or whatever when she’s executing this kind of strategy. Crazy people don’t do that.

Rose saw that the closest ropes were below her, and instead pushed her hands against the mat. Gritted teeth were seen as she pushed up on them, trying to free herself the hard way before she managed to straighten her legs out, sending Ji-Hu stumbling forward. Myeong doubled back immediately, and went to grab them before Rose brought her knees up and shot her off again with a piston-like motion. Yet again, Ji-Hu stumbled backwards into the ropes as Rose made it to her feet. She was about to get away when Ji-Hu caught her, and planted her with a backstabber before immediately rolling her over to make the cover.

Mai: Another one of Ji-Hu’s favorite moves right there! Rose couldn’t get away, because well...she sucks! Pin her!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THR-NOOOOOOOPE!!

Rose got her shoulder up in time before the three, and Ji-Hu climbed back to her feet. “Kumiho” looked at the referee with a glare as Rose struggled to her feet. Myeong advanced on her as Rose caught her with a Pele kick to the top of her head. It dropped her where she stood as Rose fought back to a vertical base….and started to tear away her baggy body suit.

Zack: Ji-Hu damn sure never saw that Pele kick coming, and it looks like the cosplay princess is about to assume her second form!

Mai: Oh for God’s sake, this again!

Rose tore the body suit off to show a white short top with suspenders holding up a pair of shorts as she pulled on a pair of red gloves. The fans roared as they recognized the classic video game character before she turned around to see. Ji-Hu getting up.

Mai: Who the fuck is that?!

Zack: That’s TIFA LOCKHART...from Final Fantasy 7!

Rose launched forward and began to throw hands with Ji-Hu, catching her with several shots before she whipped her across into the far corner. Rose glanced at her glove, and took off with a Superman punch in mind as Ji-Hu leaned against the turnbuckles.

Zack: Rose Lockhart is about to hit her limit break!

Ji-Hu avoids the Superman punch as Rose stops herself from punching the turnbuckle. But as soon as she turns around, Ji-Hu grabs her head and connects with her Regal cutter! The cosplay princess bounces off the mat before “Kumiho” drags her away from the ropes and hooks the leg for the pin.

Mai: NINE TAILS! And I don’t mean a goddamn Pokemon either!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Pruitt called for the bell to a din of boos from the crowd. Ji-Hu climbed back to her feet with a scowl on her face before she got her hand raised in victory.

Maggie: Here’s your winner by pinfall………….’KUMIHO’ JI-HU MYEONG!!

Zack: Like her or not, there’s no doubting how effective Ji-Hu is between the ropes. Tonight, she met someone who seemed to give her a few fits throughout the match. But at the end of the day, she’s leaving with her hand raised!

Mai: I could have told you that would happen. You aren’t going to get past Ji-Hu twice, especially on a huge fluke like the first match was.

She rolled out under the bottom rope, and headed towards the back with that same angry expression on her face. And as she did so to continuing disdain from the crowd, the show heads elsewhere.

Maggie: The following match is scheduled for one fall to a finish and is for a shot at the FFW Fast Track Championship!!!

Zack: Coming up, we got two women who have a lot of respect for one another both chasing a rematch for the Fast Track Championship. I’m joined by their mutual agent, Carson Black.

Carson: I’m honored to be here. It’s rare to see a match with stakes on the line between two people who actually get along. They’ve even teamed together in Future Shock, so I expect a very good outing from both women.

CUE THE SOUNDCHIP! An 8-bit version of the song from the Goonies start playing as the main lights dim down in the arena, with small star spotlights in a variety of colors flying around the crowd. 8-bit stars fill the videoboards, right up until the words start and Andi Takata comes sprinting out of the back to hit her mark.

# GOOD -GOOD- GOOD

Andi hops into place, already in her Magical Girl pose, with blue and white sparkling pyro popping behind her, and the videoboards all exploding into pixellated color madness! The bassline kicks in and Andi dances for a moment before she starts to head for the ring, taking her time to enjoy her 'Starlights'!

#Here we are, Hanging onto strains of greed and blues
#Break the chain then we break down
#Oh it's not real, if you don't feel it
#Unspoken expectations
#Ideals we used to play with
#Finally taking shape for us.

By this time, Andi has reached the ringside fans, and cues them up for the dance party!

#What's good enough (good enough)
#For you is
#Good enough (good enough)
#For me it's good enough (good enough)
#It's good enough for me
#Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah!!!

And when Pacman whirrs down, Andi punches the air above her and makes her way back around the ring to get to the rest of her Starlights, before heading up the steps and into the ring....

#goodgoodgoodgoodgood...

Maggie: Now on her way to the ring, from The Great Cosmos by way of Akibahara, Japan... She is The Lucky Star... Andi Taaaaaakataaaaa!!!

#Old fashioned superstitions
#I find too hard to breaaaak
#Maybe you're out of place whaaaat's

The song builds up again, and Andi, after running the ropes by this point, stops in the middle, to rally EVERYONE up to join her in a big ol' Caramelldanse! And most do!

#Good enough (good enough)
#For you is
#Good enough (good enough)
#For me It's good enough (good enough)
#It's good enough for me
#Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah!!

Andi runs up the turnbuckles for one last go! Keep dancing everyone!

#Good enough (good enough)
#For you Is
#Good enough (good enough)
#For me.. It's good, it's good enough
#It's good enough for me
#Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah!!!!

Andi does her v-pose on the middle rope before she hops down and the song fades away.

Zack: Andi Takata tends to deliver on big stages. She had two matches at Unstoppable 9, including the title defense where Scarlett Silver managed to get past her.

Carson: Yes, that’s very true. But you also have to remember that she did have to face Ji-Hu, whom we saw earlier, that night. Miss Takata was hardly at 100% by the time the title defense rolled around at Unstoppable 9.

I told ya, baby
Uh-oh
I told ya

The arena darkens as “Rockstar 101” by Rihanna begins to play before the camera takes us behind a woman with purple hair. She steps out onto the stage, raising her hand and making a fist as the camera looks over her shoulder. She tosses her sunglasses on her head out to the crowd as she heads towards the ring.

Rocking these diamonds
I'm rocking this chain
Make sure you get a picture
I'm rocking my fame

Maggie: Introducing from Atlanta, Georgia, this is the Princess of the Reed family……...BIANCA REED!!!!

Bianca climbs up onto the apron, drops into a split before sliding under the bottom rope to the inside. She brings her legs together and hops to her feet, already making eye contact with her opponent and running them down verbally while her music fades and before the bell even rings.

Zack: Bianca Reed was also in that Fast Track title match at Unstoppable, and she came within an eyelash of winning it. Tonight’s her ticket back to getting another crack at it.

Carson: Miss Reed is honestly undeniable when she has her eyes and mind set to a goal. She is absolutely focused until she achieves it.

Andi and Bianca moved towards the middle of the ring, Bianca continuing to verbally run down her opponent as they went eye to eye before referee Stephen Wilson called for the bell. The pair immediately locked up only for Andi to send her foe down to the canvas with a japanese style armdrag. Reed rose back to her feet quickly only to get caught and sent to the mat once more with a second japanese style armdrag. Once more Bianca rolled through to her feet and this time she caught a dropkick to her face that once again sent her down to the canvas. Once more Reed came to her feet following the move and the Lucky Star immediately jerked her downwards into a small package pinfall.

One…

T-

Carson: I doubt Miss Takata thought she was going to get a pinfall there, but it certainly reminds Miss Reed that their kinship is not going to be a factor tonight.

Zack: I don’t think Bianca would have it any other way. This is her first ever appearance at Sin & Sacrifice as well.

Bianca kicked out and quickly rose to her feet but only just managed to get her bearings before she found herself on the receiving end of three forearm shots to the side of the jaw. The Space Princess followed it up by taking hold of Reed’s wrist and jerking her forward into a raised knee to the stomach, keeping hold of her arm as she left her feet and hooked her other arm with her legs to pull her down to the canvas into a crucifix pinfall attempt.

One…

T-

Zack: Do you think Andi’s trying to get under Bianca’s skin a little with these quick pin attempts, Carson?

Carson: Possibly, there is obviously a mental aspect to this sport. I’m not sure if it’s going to work with Miss Reed though, since she approaches every match with the same unwavering goal.

Yet again Bianca kicked out just after the one count, rolling backwards to her feet where Takata continued her attack, flying towards her foe with the flying Andi butt-butt attack. Reed staggered backwards, giving the Space Princess enough room to follow up with a spinning roundhouse kick to the side of the Atlanta native’s head before the BSX member wrapped her arms around Bianca’s waist as she sent her to the mat with a belly to belly suplex. The American hit the canvas and instantly scrambled to get her feet underneath her and charged; Andi spinning away from her at last moment and delivering a perfectly timed kick to the back of her kneecap as she planted her foot, sweeping the leg out from under her and sending her down to the canvas hard once more. Immediately Andi grabbed her opponent by the foot and applied in a spinning toehold.

Zack: I’m not sure who may have the quickness advantage here, but Andi’s got the leverage right now. If I had to guess, I would say Andi is a hair quicker.

Carson: I couldn’t tell you, because I can’t see a difference there. But I would give Miss Reed the aggressiveness advantage. She doesn’t have friends when the bell rings.

Reed grimaced in frustration as much as pain as the former Future Shock Champion torqued on her foot. Wilson asked the Princess of House Reed if she wanted to quit, getting a snapped refusal in his direction before the American wrestler brought her free foot up and drove her boot into Andi’s jaw. She connected three times before Takata released her grip as the blows forced her to take a couple of steps backwards. Reed pushed up from her back and lunged towards Andi, driving the sole of her boot into her knee cap that caused it to buckle. Bianca rolled backwards to her feet as Takata recovered and launched herself at the masked wrestler taking her down to the canvas with a spinning heel kick to her jaw.

Carson: Remind me to look up some excellent orthodontists here in Rosemont, just in case Miss Takata needs to see one after tonight.

Zack: That shot had some mustard on it, but Andi’s right back at it fairly quickly though.

The masked wrestler came quickly back to her feet and Reed immediately began to lay into her with a series of stiff kicks to her body and legs, pushing her backwards and pinning her against the ropes. Wilson called for the break and started to count, Reed letting him get to three before she finished off the combination with a jumping side kick to her chest. Andi bounced off the ropes, holding her chest and found herself shot across the ring by Killer B with an Irish whip, getting met on her return to the middle with a monkey flip. The move sent Andi high into the air, allowing her to adjust in midair and land on her feet as Reed kipped up behind her. Andi turned to face her opponent and instinctively raised her hands in front of her face as Bianca fired off a superkick straight at her jaw. Takata fell backwards to the canvas and Reed dove on top of her, hooking the leg for the cover as she did so.

One…

Two…

Zack: Andi loves those superkicks, but she certainly doesn’t love eating one! Bianca can throw them with impunity, just like the “Lucky Star” can!

As the two count landed, Andi rolled her shoulder to break up the pinfall combination. The Princess of House Reed pulled the Space Princess to her feet, bringing knees up into her foe’s midsection as she got her to a vertical base and sent her barrelling into the opposite corner. Bianca followed in behind her, leaving her feet as Andi hit the pads hard and delivered a dropkick that drove both her boots into her stomach. Takata doubled over, cradling her stomach as she stepped out of the corner only for Reed to stand her upright with a swift kick to her chest before taking her down to the canvas with a headscissors takedown. Andi began to rise to her feet once more only to get her head hooked by Killer B who used the turnbuckles to her advantage as she came off them and came off with a tornado DDT that saw Andi crumple to the mat.

Zack: Look at the snap on that tornado DDT. If this thing turns into a battle of who’s faster, we may only be able to watch it in slow motion, Carson.

Carson: They are both exceptionally fast, there’s no question about that at all. I still couldn’t tell you which one had the advantage in quickness, but Bianca has it in the right now.

Bianca was continuing with her trash talk of the Space Princess as she stepped through the ropes to the outside. Reed watched her opponent push up to all fours before she used the top rope to slingshot herself back into the mat and deliver a leg drop across the back of her head, forcing her face first into the mat. Quickly the Atlanta born wrestler pushed up to her feet, pulling Andi up with her and dragged her into position near the corner where she slammed her face first into the mat with a sitout facebuster. Reed kipped straight back to her feet as Andi rolled over onto her back and Bianca moved into the corner, facing the crowd. She looked back over her shoulder before she jumped up and came back down with a split legged moonsault across her foes chest. Quickly she made the cover, hooking the leg once more.

Carson: Poetry in motion as far as Bianca’s grace and agility goes.

One…

Two…

...TH-

Zack: That split-legged moonsault was a thing of beauty, but it didn’t secure that Fast Track title shot yet.

Andi kicked out of the pinfall and was brought up to her feet as Bianca nodded to accept the referee’s count only for her to send Takata back down to the mat with a snapmare, followed up by a dropkick to the back of her head. The Lucky Star held her neck as she rolled over to the side only to begin to rise, the Princess of House Reed beginning to lay into her with stiff kicks to her body. As Andi got back to her feet, Bianca circling around behind her and snapped her back down to the canvas with a side Russian legsweep. Reed rolled to her feet and took off across the ring, coming back off the ring ropes and into Rolling Thunder that saw her come down across Andi’s body with a splash. Quickly she hooked the outside leg as she made the cover.

One…

Two…

...THR-

Carson: See, I told you those quick fall attempts earlier weren’t going to affect Miss Reed’s gameplan. She’s still laser focused on one task: earning another shot at the Fast Track title.

Andi kicked out of the pinfall. Bianca looked up at the referee who confirmed the two count to her, Reed talking at him as she rose to her feet before she turned her attention back towards the Space Princess, waving her upwards before she sprinted into the ropes once more and this time caught the rising Lucky Star with a koppu kick to the back of her head, knocking her back down to all fours. Andi took a moment before she pushed herself up onto her knees and the Princess of House Reed took full advantage by wrapping an arm around Andi’s neck from behind, pulling her head backwards to allow her to drive a chop downwards into her stomach before the Atlantan locked in a dragon sleeper on her foe.

Zack: Bianca has this dragon sleeper expertly applied, and the bonus for her is that this is going to help her plan ahead a few moves and get her wind back.

Carson: That it will. These magnificent athletes need a moment to collect themselves, especially at the pace they were going earlier.

Andi’s arms flailed as the referee checked the hold to ensure it was legal before she tried to pull herself free of the American’s grasp. Bianca’s grip proved to be vice-like; the Georgia woman pushing upwards and arching backwards slightly as she tried to make the hold more effective. Again Takata tried to escape the hold, pushing up to one knee while looking for anywhere that she could apply leverage to loosen up her grip enough to find freedom. It only caused Bianca to wrench the hold on tighter. The BSX member began to fade, her arm movements slowing until her arm hung limply by her side. Wilson raised Andi’s hand into the air and watched it drop when he released it. He raised it into the air once more, again watching it drop back down by her side.

Zack: I can’t remember the last time I saw someone put Andi Takata to sleep in a match, but we could be seconds away from changing that.

Yet again the referee lifted Takata’s arm and this time as he released it, the limb wavered for a moment before it stayed upright; the fans starting to rally behind the Space Princess. The masked warrior pumped her arm in the air once more as rose the rest of the way to her feet bending at the knees before she jumped upwards, flipping backwards and slamming Killer B into the canvas with a modified Shiranui as she did so. Andi landed on her knees and fell backwards onto her ass, immediately rolling over to her hands and knees as she began to push upwards once more, gasping for breath. As she pushed up to her feet, the Princess of House Reed moved in behind her, reaching around to try and grab hold of her wrists in an attempt to deliver a straitjacket neckbreaker but before she could, Andi Takata caught her with a mule kick into her midsection. Bianca staggered backwards and Takata spun around, jumping into the air and caught Reed with a spinning kick to the side of her head, sending her down to one knee as Takata also landed on one knee.

Carson: These two women have some of the most lethal kicks in the business, and I defy anyone to argue otherwise seeing this match.

Zack: You’re not kidding! They can put your lights out in a hurry.

Andi took a moment to recover as Bianca pushed up to her feet only for Takata to come up from one knee and delivered a palm strike to her opponent’s jaw, following it up with a second palm strike aimed at the same spot. As Reed attempted to cover up, the former Unity Champion charged her target, delivering the third palm strike into the ribcage of her opponent, followed by another to her body. Bianca lowered her guard and the Lucky Star took her off her feet with a swinging neckbreaker. The pair rose to their feet simultaneously; Andi bringing her knee up into Reed’s breadbasket before she hooked hold of her head and snapped off a suplex. Takata floated over and hooked the leg as she made the cover.

One…

Two…

Zack: Bianca still has too much left in the tank, Carson. It’s a hallmark of hers, just how resilient she can be.

Bianca kicked out the pinfall and quickly sat up allowing Andi to lock in a rear chinlock on her, pushing her knee into her spine. Despite the hold, Bianca pushed upwards, getting to her feet as Andi transitioned the hold into a side headlock. Reed walked the Space Princess backwards into the ropes, firing her off across the ring, Takata rebounded and came back towards her opponent, ducking underneath an attempted leg lariat from the Atlanta native. Bianca landed on her feet and moved towards the Lucky Star who springboarded off the middle rope and caught Bianca coming in behind her with a disaster kick to the side of her head. The Atlanta native reeled, turning away from her opponent as she staggered away on spaghetti legs which saw Andi slam her face first into the mat with a one handed bulldog. Quickly the BSX member headed towards the corner and climbed up the top rope only to come off with a double knee drop into Bianca’s body. Quickly Andi made the cover and hooked the leg once more.

One…

Two…

...TH-

Carson: There’s that resiliency you talked about earlier, Zack: Miss Reed has it in spades, but that’s not to say Miss Takata doesn’t.

Zack: It’s a good thing then, because they both are relying heavily on it tonight.

Bianca kicked out of the pinfall on two and a half, rolling over onto her front  as she did so. Andi nodded to the referee as she was shown the two count and came to her feet quickly, heading towards the nearest ring ropes to springboard into a double footstomp, landing on Reed’s shoulders as she pushed up to all fours and drove the Atlanta native’s face into the canvas. Andi quickly followed that up with an elbow drop into Bianca’s spine; Takata quickly floated over and locked in a crossface armbar. The American wrestler let out a cry of pain as Andi got the hold locked in tightly and kicked her feet against the mat. Stephen Wilson dropped down in front of Bianca and asked her if she wanted to submit, getting a very definite and very pained ‘No’ from the former Aspire Ring holder.

Carson: I admire the referee doing his job, but asking Bianca if she wants to quit is about as beneficial as asking the sun to stop being hot.

The official checked on the hold and asked her again, getting another ‘No’ as Bianca started to use her legs and feet to move her forward. She inched herself around on the canvas, face screwing up in pain as Andi made sure that she had the hold tightly applied to Reed. The American still refused to give up as she was asked again instead she kicked out her foot, searching for the ropes and came up a little short. She moved herself another quarter of an inch, kicked out her foot once more at full stretch and just managed to hook a toe over the bottom rope. Wilson called for the break and started the count that saw Andi roll away at two.

Zack: Bianca managed to get the break, but you have to wonder how much it took out of her and how much may be left in the tank.

Takata came to her feet and waved Killer B upwards, watching as she used the ropes to get back to a vertical base, favouring her arm and as Bianca turned towards her opponent, Andi darted forward and caught her with a picture perfect codebreaker. Reed popped up and fell back against the ropes, tottering forward as she rebounded off them and Andi jerked her downwards into the Katamari Roll (rolling death cradle). The Space Princess propelled her opponent around and around and around the ring before finally coming to a stop with Bianca in a pinning situation. Wilson slid into position and checked the shoulders before starting to make the count.

Carson: Watching that move makes me dizzy. I can only guess how Miss Reed must feel.

One…

Two…

...THRE-

Zack: However she felt, it wasn’t enough to keep her down for three. I bet she feels like she was just taken out of the dryer though.

Bianca kicked out before the three count could be completed causing Andi to roll away and came to her feet. Quickly the Space Princess advanced upon the rising Reed, forcing her back into the corner with a series of kicks to her body before she switched up to throwing elbows aimed at her head. The official ordered Andi to let her out of the corner and started the count only for Takata to Irish whip her across the ring into the opposite corner. Killer B hit the opposite corner and slumped slightly as Andi measured her up and came forwards to deliver a cartwheel back elbow to her face. The Space Princess landed on her feet and instantly leapt up into the air, spinning as she did so to deliver an enzugiri to the side of the Atlanta natives head. Bianca stepped forward before falling to her knees. Andi looked down at her, nodding her head before she shouted out “SHINING STAR” to the crowd who gave her a pop as she set off across the ring, hitting the ropes and came back to catch Reed on the forearms with a shining wizard aimed at the side of the head. As Bianca fell to the canvas, Andi dropped down on top of her and hooked her leg for the win.

Zack: Andi called...Bianca felt it! Takata’s going back for a title shot!

One…

Two…

...THREEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!NNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Carson: I, along with this crowd, was about ready to congratulate Miss Takata on her victory, but Miss Reed planned otherwise, Zack.

At the last moment Bianca’s shoulder popped up from the mat and she rolled away as Andi pushed up to her knees, asking for the three count only for Stephen Wilson to confirm the two count once more. Andi gave a small shake of her head in disbelief as she looked at Reed who was trying to gather herself on the canvas and push upwards. Takata rose to her feet, pulling her foe to her feet and locked in a Caramellnelson, using a Full Nelson to make the Atlanta native dance to the Swedish pop song before she attempted to turn the move into Caramellplexin’ … that Bianca blocked. Andi tried again, lifting Bianca off her feet before the Georgia born wrestler blocked the move again and this time threw her weight forward, falling to her knees and sending Andi face first into the middle turnbuckle. The Space Princess staggered backwards, holding her head as Bianca used the ring ropes to quickly bring herself back to her feet, delivering a pele kick to Andi that sent her down to the canvas.

Zack: I know the new FIFA game just came out this week, and I think Bianca may be auditioning for inclusion in next year’s game.

Carson: What an excellent idea….

Andi rolled away and started to push up to her feet as Killer B used the ring ropes to pull herself quickly to a vertical base and rushed towards her opponent, delivering a high knee to her chest. Andi stepped backwards and Bianca caught her to the side of the head with an enzugiri. Takata dropped to her hands and knees as Reed landed on the canvas, taking a couple of moments to recover before she forced herself to rise to her feet at the same time as the Space Princess, driving knees into her body before she took hold of her head, yanking it downwards to deliver a series of knee strikes to her face. A final, vicious knee strike connected with Andi’s face causing her to stagger backwards before a windmill kick from Bianca sent her down to the canvas. Reed didn’t waste any time at all as she delivered a swift leg drop across Takata’s chest then made the pinfall, hooking her leg as she did so.

...THR-

Zack: Boy, the referee would be in the ICU right now if looks could kill. Bianca thought she had it, and she’s not the only one.

Bianca gave a death glare to the referee as he showed her the two count, the Future Shock Graduate rolling away and slowly pushing up to her feet. She waved Andi upwards, waiting for her to join her before she darted forward, springboarding off the ropes and delivered a side kick that caused her opponent to stagger into the ropes. The Atlanta native set off across the ropes and met Andi as she began to stumble towards the middle of the ring and took her to the canvas with a leg lariat. Andi instantly sat up but was slow to rise any further, giving Bianca time to step out onto the apron and climb to the top rope. Reed perched there, waiting for Takata to turn around to face before she launched herself towards her, driving her knees into her chest with a meteora. As Bianca landed on top of the Space Princess she leaned backwards and hooked both of her legs.

Zack: A meteora, and Bianca’s punching her ticket to a Fast Track title shot right now!

One…

Two…

...THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!NNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!

Carson: It was that close, but who better to know how to avoid defeat by a meteor than a space princess, eh Zack?

At the very last possible moment Andi’s shoulder popped up from the canvas and Stephen Wilson waved off the count; showing a two count to everyone involved, getting a slow shake of the head from Bianca Reed. She asked for the three count only to have the two count confirmed to her once more, the American wrestler targeting her verbal assault on the official for a couple of moments as she walked past him and headed towards the corner. Her attention turned back towards Andi as she climbed up the inside and waited for Takata to make her way back to her feet. As she did so, Bianca came off the turnbuckles with a Cracker Jacker...that Andi countered with the Space Crusher, driving Bianca’s head into the canvas as she did so; Reed bouncing on impact onto her back. Andi lay back on the mat for a couple of moments before she finally rolled over, throwing her arm across Bianca’s chest to make the pin.

Zack: SPACE CRUSSSSSHHAAAAAAAA!! But it took her a while to make the cover, is it enough?

One…

Two…

….THREEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!NNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Carson: It is not! Had Miss Takata been able to follow up more quickly, we would have potentially had a very different outcome just then.

A heartbeat before the count could be completed, Bianca rolled the shoulder and again Wilson held up two fingers to the audience to inform them of his decision. Andi looked up to the referee, asking for three count as she came to her hands and knees only to get the two count confirmed to her once more. Andi ran a hand through her hair in disbelief before she finally accepted the count and began to come to her feet. The Space Princess stepped unsteadily towards the corner, pointing to the top rope and started to climb. As Andi stepped up from the middle rope to put one foot on the top turnbuckle, Bianca kipped up suddenly to her feet and darted towards the corner, leaping onto the middle rope and springboarding up onto Andi’s shoulders to snap off a reverse springboard frankensteiner - the Read ‘Em & Weep. Quickly Bianca scrambled into a cover, hooking both of Andi’s legs as Wilson slid into position.

Zack: READ’EM AND WEEP!! You could almost feel that one!

One…

Two…

...THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Carson: I don’t think there’s any in FFW who would have been able to withstand that, and Miss Reed’s determination has paid off again.

Stephen Wilson called for the bell’ Bianca Reed rolling out of the cover as it sounded and slowly sat up before Stephen Wilson helped her back to her feet.

Maggie: Here is your winner, by way of pinfall, the Princess of House Reed…. BIANCA REED!!!

Carson: Congratulations to Miss Reed on a stellar performance, and also to Miss Takata for giving her everything she could want in this match.

Zack: I know Scarlett’s got a match later, but I hope she was watching. Bianca joins Lilly as the queue for Fast Track defenses is really starting to pile up.

Andi rolled out onto the apron, holding her head as the referee raised her hand in the air. The crowd cheered as Bianca moved towards the corner, climbing to the middle turnbuckle as she celebrated her victory before the show cut elsewhere.

This One’s For the Kids

A short commercial about the upcoming co-promoted event between Future Shock and FFW is shown for the October 11th Velocity. From there, we head back to the live show and find Future Shock’s reporter, Sara, alongside the reigning FFW Future Shock Champion herself.

Sara: Hello there, everyone! For those unaware, I’m the lead reporter for FFW’s developmental brand, Future Shock. If you don’t watch the show, you definitely should. I’m here with the 2 time Future Shock Champion Harley Shannon. Harley, welcome to FFW’s fall tradition, Sin & Sacrifice.

Harley was grinning widely with the Future Shock Championship resting on her shoulder.

Harley: Hey Sara. It’s great to be here. Got to love the feeling and the energy in the air that comes with one of these huge, massive traditional FFW shows. It’s pure excitement and adrenaline. I love it.  Oh and yeah, if you’re not watching Future Shock...why not? It’s full of the future superstars of FFW.

Sara: As we just saw in the video, Future Shock and FFW are joining forces on the October 11th edition of Velocity in the first ever co-promoted show. The entire show will be to raise money for the fight against pediatric cancer, which I think is something everyone can get behind and support. One of the women representing Future Shock that night is Harley Shannon. And she will be competing for the first time in a FFW ring in Brooklyn, New York.

Harley: I can’t wait, it’s going to be an amazing show and for the most incredible and worthiest of causes; one that pretty much everyone can get behind and support wholeheartedly and I’m sure all of our amazing fans out there will be very generous in their donations - remember every little helps; it all adds up and makes a huge difference. Plus, there’s the little matter of me getting into an FFW ring to compete for the first time ever, which for me personally, is a pretty huge deal. Any clues as to who I’m going to be facing in Brooklyn, New York? Any hints as to which amazingly talented woman I get to face to try and raise the most money possible to help fight pediatric cancer?

Sara: I know exactly. All the proceeds from this event will go to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, dedicated to helping children through the ordeal and making sure their parents can be with them the whole way. As for your match, you’ll be meeting someone just arriving from Future Shock that you know well. For those who haven’t watched Future Shock, they don’t know about the series you’ve had with “Old School” Gillie Barnes. At Velocity, you’ll meet her in a rubber match!

Harley:  Gillie and I have had two incredibly competitive matches together. We’ve pushed each other to our limits, forced each other to dig down deep and make use of everything that we’ve learnt and researched. Currently the series is tied at one a piece thanks to Old School having beaten me for the Future Shock Championship earlier this year. Trust me, when we get into that ring on October 11th to raise money for St. Jude’s, there’s a very good chance that we could steal the show and be the one that you’re all talking about in the days and weeks and years to come. It’s going to be an absolute barnstormer. A real treat for the FFW Faithful.

Sara: Fans can go to the FFW or Future Shock sites right now to make donations. Any and all purchases made that night will also see proceeds going to the charity. I know you two have faced for the title before as well as the #1 contender spot for it too.  I happen to know that night we’ll have quite a few guests, not just talent from around the globe. But there’ll be kids sitting at ringside watching you who are struggling with cancer themselves. I don’t know about you, but I’d say there’s no better time and place for you and Gillie to put on a show.

The red haired wrestler nodded her head.

Harley: I couldn’t agree more. And, while I don’t want to put words into Gillie’s mouth, I’m sure that she’s as excited by this prospect as I am. I’m also pretty sure that just like me, she’ll be desperate and will do everything in her power to score the win in this rubber match; to get the upper hand in this friendly rivalry we’ve got between us. When you’ve got two talented women willing to do whatever it takes to fairly win a match, you can bet you’ll see a show. Like I said, I think Gillie and I have every chance of stealing the show, no matter who else is booked that night.

Sara: I’m sure you will be able to do just that. Good luck, Harley.

A small graphic shows us the match now booked for the October 11th Velocity, and then we head back to the ring.

As we are sent back to ringside, we see the Prison of Punishment cage already set up around the ring: it's a Hell in a Cell-sized cage, with weapons such as steel chairs, bats, kendo sticks and the such connected to the cage's inner walls.

Maggie: The following contest… is a PRISON OF PUNISHMENT MATCH FOR THE FFW ULTRAVIOLENCE CHAMPIONSHIP!!!

Zack: It's been a while since we last seen one of these here in FFW! Weapons aplenty, and three very violent women contending for the most chaotic division's top belt! anything can happen!

Mai: There's a reason why it's called the ULTRAVIOLENCE Championship, d'oh. Let's see what they have in store for us!

The lights go out completely as the opening guitar riff of ‘Is this the way you get to hell by Stitched up heart’ starts to play. A red spotlight hits highlighting a handbasket sitting on the otherwise empty stage.

Is this the way you get to hell?
Is this the way you get to hell in a handbasket?
You will tear me apart.
You will tear apart my mind, My simple mind.
It's just cause you hurt so bad,
That you end up blind, You end up blind.
Is this the way you… Is this the way you...
Is this the way you…

A second spotlight hits at the entrance to see Raven Knight standing with her arms raised above her head making the bottom of her top raise enough to show part of her taut abdomen. Boos erupt from the crowd which just bring a smirk to the resident firestarter’s face.

Dripping from bloody fingers,
Running from the palms of my hands.
Dripping from bloody fingers,
I didn’t even have a chance.
Dripping from bloody fingers,
Running from the palms of my hands.

Maggie: Introducing first...from Providence, Rhode Island, weighing in at one-hundred twenty pounds, she is the “The Dark Raven”... RAVEN KNIGHT!

I will tear you apart.
I will tear apart your mind, Your simple mind.
It's just cause I hurt so bad,
That I end up blind, I end up with a simple mind.
Is this the way you… Is this the way you...
Is this the way you…

Raven walks out onto the stage and approaches the handbasket with the smirk still in place on her face, suddenly she kicks out sending the basket toppling down the ramp and scattering black rose petals in its wake and down the ramp.

Dripping from bloody fingers,
Running from the palms of my hands.
Dripping from bloody fingers,
I didn’t even have a chance.
Dripping from bloody fingers,
Running from the palms of my hands.

Raven walks down the ramp towards the ring with her arms raised either side of her and her middle fingers extended towards the crowd. She speeds up as she nears the ring and jumps up onto the apron, sliding under the bottom rope and jumping to her feet in a quick fluid sequence. She raises her middle fingers to the crowd again before going back to her corner and laughing at the animosity she is getting from the crowd.

Zack: Raven was the one who made the choice of bringing her two opponents into the Prison of Punishment after she injected herself in this match!

Mai: Which is why she's my pick to win this match! She's basically at home right now!

“Start Me Up” by the Rolling Stones begins to play as Charlotte Harker comes out of the back and bounces on the balls of her feet, taking a moment or two to soak in the atmosphere of the crowd while talking a couple of deep breaths. Shaw joins her, applauding her partner and rallying the crowd behind her, getting only boos before Harker raised her hands in the air. They were joined by Kyle Kilmeade who stood at the back

Maggie: Her opponents! First, standing at 6’2” and weighing 157 lbs, accompanied to the ring by Kyle Kilmeade and, her tag team partner, the “One Woman Show” Shaughnessy O’Neill… CHARLOTTE HARKER!!!

Finally she begins to head to the ring, peacock strutting Mick Jagger style all the way there. Climbing up the ring steps between the ropes, only to find Shaw already there. O’Neill drags her into the ring and holds her arm aloft, dragging her around the ring and telling the crowd that they’re looking at the winner...thanks to Shaw’s help. As the match gets ready to start, the referee tells O’Neill to leave the ring only to get into argument as Shaughnessy tells the official that they can’t tell a premier athlete like Shaw or Charlotte what to do. As the referee finally wins out, Shaw leaves the ring and takes her place on the floor in her partner’s corner as Harker stretches out and makes last minute preparations for the match.

Zack: The last thing Charlotte Harker would like right now was to have to contend with Raven Knight for the championship she could as well be facing Mallory Bennett alone for.

Mai: But them’s the breaks, right? That’s why Shaughnessy O'Neill is here to help her unleash her inner Quebecois for this match!

“SEND ME TO MY GRAVE... SEND ME TO MY GRAVE...”

The sound of a car horn resounding through the arena echoes as a fairly sized custom truck begins to roll in next to the entrance ramp. The hood of the truck has a business name and phone number of a local garage and custom shop painted on for all to see. Driving the vehicle is none other than Mallory Bennett with a grin on her face and the championship belt on her dashboard. She puts the truck in park and shuts it off before stepping out to the cheers of the crowd. Mike O’Phee continues to rip through the sound system as Mallory bangs her head to the beat, title belt on her shoulder while Gillie steps out from the passenger side entrance.

“SEND ME TO MY GRAVE! (BEFORE YOU...)
SEND ME TO MY GRAVE...
I BEEN UP, I BEEN DOWN,
I BEEN LOST, I BEEN AROUND!”

Maggie: And from Tampa Bay, Florida and accompanied to the ring by Gillie Barnes... Weighing in tonight at 140 pounds... YOUR REIGNING, DEFENDING FFW ULTRAVIOLENCE CHAMPION...This is “MALICIOUS” MALLORY BENNETT!

Mal rolls into the ring and climbs a top turnbuckle before raising her championship belt to the fans with a determined look on her face. She walks towards the opposite turnbuckle and does the same as her song fades out. She takes off her jacket and title, handing them to Gillie on the outside before punching the air, ready to fight.

Zack: Mallory Bennett did the unthinkable, ending Emma Macnamara's deathgrip on the Ultraviolence Championship… And the challenges don't ever get lighter, do they?

Mai: That's what being a fighting champion means. Anyone and everyone, at any given time. That's what Mallory Bennett bought herself into when she decided to fight for this belt. And survey says, she won't have a lot of wiggle room to save her own ass when reality comes a-knockin'.

And with all three wrestlers inside the Prison of Punishment… The main door is locked.

Zack: They say it’s the beast inside the cage the one we should all be most wary of. Now these three feral beasts are locked inside the Prison of Punishment… And this is gonna be ugly.

The bells ring and the three wrestlers look at one another, all sporting slight smirks on their faces as they take in the environment. The cage is surrounded by weapons on all walls, and the cage mesh looks to be flimsy just enough to keep the three in but without much in the way of security. The three contenders seem to hesitate a bit to make the first move... And, as if on cue, both Mallory and Raven end up attacking Charlotte, tag teaming her as they go for a flurry of punches, ax-handles and elbow shots. The blonde can't do much but defend herself, as she's brought to her ass keeping her guard up. As soon as Charlotte collapses however, Raven DECKS Mallory with a well aimed hook shot to the jaw, and the champion collapses like a log.

Zack: Raven Knight like a bat out of hell starting this match! Mallory just ate one hell of a punch to the face, might’ve dislocated her jaw or something.

Mai: Or outright broken it! I've heard that she has quite the glassy complexion, if you know what I mean.

This, of course, gives Charlotte a chance to get up, but Raven is right on the ball, as she attacks her blonde opponent with more punches and elbows. Mallory, who's nowhere near being too wasted, bounces on the ropes behind her and dashes towards Raven, clocking her with a clothesline. And once again the fight becomes all about the champion and the arsonist, as they tangle up once again, trading blows and kicks. Charlotte seems to want in on the fun as well, as she pulls Mallory away from Raven and, with a firm grip on her wrist, throws her to the corner. Mallory crashes into the turnbuckles, and then Charlotte does the same to Raven, gripping her wrist and then whipping her into Mallory. Champion and challenger are now docked in the corner, and Charlotte takes her time dash towards them and smush them in with a stinger splash.

Zack: The Bruiser from Buffalo showing why she’s the brawn behind the One-Woman Show, taking it to both her opponents at the same time.

Mai: And you gotta envy Raven right there, being sandwiched between two women like that… Or Charlotte Harker and whatever Mallory Bennett is.

Charlotte then follows that up by pulling Raven away from Mallory, only to whip her into Bennett again. Champ and challenger bump into one another and collapse to the mat: as Raven rolls toward the center of the ring, Mallory rolls out of the ring and collapses at ringside. Charlotte directs her attention to Raven, bringing the brunette up to her feet and trying to whip her to the far corner again. This time however, Raven reverts, sending Charlotte into the corner. The blonde crashes into the turnbuckles and doesn't have the time to defend herself from the incoming Yakuza kick by Raven.

Zack: Eat the foot! Raven with a powerful Yakuza to Charlotte! What a back and forth contest between these three women, hard to tell who wants the championship more!

Mai: For a moment I thought it was because Raven’d be envious of Charlotte’s beauty for a moment so she’d set out to ruin her face, but that works too!

Instead of bringing her feet down, Raven uses the sole of her boot to start choking Charlotte against the top turnbuckle, and the referee cannot do much except beg for her not to do it anymore. While Raven taunts the referee mentioning there's no count-outs in a Prison of Punishment match, Mallory, who was out of the ring, comes back in with a kendo stick... And sure enough, she goes after the oblivious contenders, going to town on both opponents as she starts hammering away with the bamboo sword, smacking it into Raven's spine, then Harker's stomach, the up Charlotte's head, Raven's skull, until the bamboo stick comes partially undone! Charlotte quickly rolls out of the ring for safety and Mallory, tunnel-vision leading her movements, cracks the kendo stick up Raven's skull once again, the bamboo sword bending as Knight collapses unconscious to the mat!

Zack: Mallory is hellbent on wasting that bamboo sword on her opponents, talk about wanting to be the new deathgrip queen of the UV division.

Mai: You mean prince?... Either way, she’s really out of control with that goddamn stick, someone should remove it from her hands before the child hurts herself.

As Raven collapses, Mallory searches for Charlotte, finally noticing the blonde is outside the ring. Mal spots the contender using the mesh of the cage as leverage to get up, and up on that very wall, a steel chair she's clearly eyeballing. Sure enough, Mallory leaves the ring and stares knives into Charlotte, who seems to be motivated to pull herself up a bit faster and grab the steel chair. Mal just smirks, taunting Charlotte into coming for her, and Charlie does exactly that, swinging the chair... But Mallory ducks and stabs Charlotte with the kendo stick's pointed end. Charlotte bends, and Mallory bicycle kicks Charlotte, who lets the steel chair fall harmlessly to the ringside pads. Mallory throws Charlotte back in the ring and, before she does the same thing, she grabs the steel chair left there by Harker, sliding it into the ring right before she joins her contenders inside the square. However, once she's in the ring, she realizes that Raven... is not.

Zack: I think Mallory wanted to share something with Raven Knight there, but Raven’s in hiding right now, and for good reason.

Mai: Obviously biding her time before she strikes. That’s the mark of a true champion!

Zack: But she… isn’t the champion?

Mai: YET!

Mallory gets up and clutches the steel chair, looking around to see if she can find Raven. Knight, though, is nowhere to be seen. Deciding against waiting too much for Knight to show up, Mallory proceeds to fold the steel chair around Charlotte's ankle, getting ready to stomp on it and shatter the blonde's ankle. But right before she can pull it off, Raven finally rolls back into the ring clutching a 3x4 wooden plank, smashing the back of Mallory's knee! Mal goes to a knee, completely out of balance, and Raven goes to town with the 3x4, smashing Mal's skull in with the thing! Mallory collapses, and Charlotte begins to pull herself up... Right before she has her skull smashed in by Raven's 3x4 as well! Kicking Mallory out of the ring, Raven decides to keep her attention on Charlotte, getting back to the idea of torturing the blonde by stabbing her with the 3x4, prompting Harker to get up to her feet in self-defense. This only works towards help Raven put Charlotte in a position where she can be choked once more, this time with the aid of the wooden plank.

Zack: Raven is wrecking show with that wooden board, and now… She’s choking Charlie Harker with it, grinding it against her neck!

Mai: Kinky! What do you think is her safe word?

Zack: I would rather not think about THAT. Not now, not ever.

Raven presses and grinds the 3x4 against Charlotte's throat, taunting and crap-talking the blonde... Before Charlotte kicks the steel chair that was around her ankle just a minute ago and catches in one hand, smashing it into Raven's pelvic bones! Raven's eyes water up with the shot, as she retreats and curls up in pain, giving Charlotte enough space to raise the steel chair and then clean her clock with a well placed chair shot up her head. Raven collapses like a log, and rolls out of the ring, either for safety or just because she plainly doesn't know where she is anymore. This leads Charlotte to follow her... taking her time to smack a rising Mallory while she's at it, before she turns her attentions to Raven once again.

Mai: Looks like the animosity between Raven and Charlotte is growing rapidly, I don’t think either of them is interested in taking it to the champion before they’re done with one another.

Zack: It’s fair to say that Mallory has somewhat of target on her back, being the champ; so they want to leave nothing to chance! Looks like they want to destroy one another, and the winner of THAT contest takes a shot at Bennett!

Charlotte waits for Raven to stand up only to stab the chair into Raven's stomach, and as Raven folds over, Charlie smashes it up her head. Raven collapses to a knee, and only now Charlotte feels comfortable enough to roll both Raven and Mallory into the ring. Before she does roll in herself however, she browses under the ring for something and, sure enough, she produces... a baseball bat! Rolling into the ring, she waits to see who is the first one to get up so they can get home-run the hell out of their feet, and that's Mallory: with a nice swing, Charlie smacks the baseball bat up Mal's skull, and the champion collapses and rolls to an isolated corner, and then out of the ring. Charlotte drives her attentions toward Raven once more, and stabs the baseball bat into her stomach, making the arsonist curl up in a fetal position, before she's forced to lie straight as the blonde makes the first cover of the match!

ONE!

TWO!

NOPE!!! Mallory yanks Charlotte's feet and drags her away from Raven, and out of the ring!

Zack: HOW did Mallory get up that quickly after having her head basically home run out of its socket by Charlotte?! Either way, the count is broken by the champion!

Mai: Maybe that’s because Mallory hasn’t a lot going on in her thinking box, so that shot might not have made that much impact in the first place!

Charlotte and Mallory start trading blows with one another at ringside, the blonde beside herself that the champion had interrupted her cover attempt. In the meanwhile, Raven reaches for the baseball bat that Charlie brought in. While the champion and the bruiser from Buffalo trade blows, Raven rolls onto the apron and gets back on her feet, waiting for the perfect opportunity... And then leaps for her both opponents! Charlotte gets out of the way and Raven smacks Mallory with the baseball bat up the head! The champion collapses, and Charlotte IMMEDIATELY tackles Raven down to the pads with an NFL-esque shoulder block, and the two women go down. Charlotte immediately gets up, grabbing Raven by the head and whipping her into the cage's mesh, pressing her face against the metal while taunting her.

Mai: Smile for the camera, Raven!

Zack: I don’t think there’s gonna be a lot in the way of smiling if Charlotte has her way! She’s almost cutting Raven’s face through the mesh!

But while they're there, Mallory powers back to her feet and, with a war cry, she dashes towards her opponents! Having telegraphed her assault, Charlotte pushes Raven away to propel herself backwards, and Mallory sends herself into the mesh. She's immediately bounced backwards, and Charlotte hovers around Mallory to grab her by the waist and suplex her backwards into the cage's wall again. Wrapping her arms tightly around Mal's midsection, she attempts to deadlift her, but Bennett controls her gravity center perfectly, avoiding the suplex. But then Raven shows signs of life, grabbing the baseball bat from inside the ring and cracking it into Charlotte's lower spine! The blonde screams in pain as she arches backwards while still holding on to Mallory's midsection, and then arsonist makes her way up to Charlotte and grabs HER by the waist, making an immense effort to suplex BOTH HARKER AND BENNETT into the cage walls, that come undone and collapse with the weight of the three wrestlers! Mallory is sent head first into the crowd barricade, and Charlotte and Raven are sprawled out at ringside under the "HOLY SHIT!" chants of the crowd!

Zack: HOLY DAMN, THE CAGE JUST CAME UNDONE WITH THE THREE WOMEN IN THIS MATCH BEING SHOT THROUGH IT AT THE SAME TIME!!!

Mai: And you guys say Charlotte is the powerhouse here?! Raven just lifted Charlotte AND Mallory at ONCE, and broke the cage’s wall!

All three wrestlers take their sweet time to get up, Mallory being the one with the most time to recover as she holds onto the seams of the barricade's cover. Raven and Charlie eventually get up to their feet using the commentary table as leverage, and they resume their brawl from where it stopped: climbing onto the commentary table, they start trading punches and elbow shots... prompting Mallory to stay put in her corner as she realizes there's an advantage to letting her two opponents kill one another before she delivers the kill shot. Sure enough, during their brawl, Raven parries one of Charlotte's punches and grabs her wrist, throwing the blonde toward the cage... But then Charlotte does the unexpected as she latches on to the cage wall's mesh and, instead of coming down and resuming the fight, she starts climbing!

Zack: I don’t think that was Raven’s plan when she threw Charlotte to the cage, but there she is, doing her best Spider-Woman impression!

Mai: No! Wait! Come back here! The panty shot you guys were giving us was a-fucking-mazing!

As Raven realizes what's going on, she decides to give chase to Charlotte, and the two contenders for the belt are now scaling the cell walls, while the champion plays dead behind the announce table! Charlotte gets to the top of the cage first, and notices Raven is right behind her, attempting to thwart Knight by stomping on her head, and then on her hands as she's attempting to get there. Raven fights the resistance however, pushing up onto the cage's ceiling. The two rivals can't so much stare and smirk at one another before they resume brawling, throwing more elbows, punches, forearms into one another... Before Charlotte parries Raven and holds her wrist. Raven's eyes go wide as she realizes something horribly wrong is about to take place…

Zack: … she’s not gonna…?!

Mai: She IS! FUCK OUTTA THE WAY!!!

... right before Charlotte sweeps her leg and trips her, making Raven collapse from the top of the cage and crash into the announce table, that implodes immediately with her weight!

Zack: OH MY GOD!!!!!! CHARLOTTE HARKER JUST SENT RAVEN KNIGHT INTO A 15-FOOT FREE FALL!!! SHE JUST CRASHED ONTO OUR TABLE HERE AT RINGSIDE AND SHE ISN’T MOVING!!!

Staring downwards at Raven's prone body, Charlotte analyzes her next move. Both her opponents are (apparently) down and out, and there's only one way out of where she is: down. She then notices Raven is stirring, and decides to go for the ultimate sacrifice move: tapping her elbow, she announces her next move…

Mai: HOLY S-- DON’T DO THIS, CHARLOTTE!!!

... then takes a deep breath and DOESN'T NOTICE IT AS MALLORY GETS UP AND DASHES TOWARDS RAVEN AS SHE LEAPS! Mallory grabs Raven's wrists and yanks her away from the shattered announce table, and Charlotte LANDS HORRIBLY ON THE DEBRIS!!!

Zack: CHARLOTTE DIVES AND-- GOOD LORD!!! MALLORY-- SHE CAME OUT OF NOWHERE AND SHE REMOVED RAVEN FROM THE IMPACT ZONE, AND CHARLOTTE… CHARLOTTE JUST ELBOW DROPPED THE GODDAMN FLOOR AFTER A 15-FOOT DROP!!!

Mai: Now THAT is what I call sending a goddamn message.

Now being the only one on her feet, Mallory quickly leads Charlotte back inside the cage and rolls her into the ring. The blonde is OUT as Mallory rolls into the ring herself and eyeballs the steel chair that they were using before... Proceeding to unfold the steel chair and set it in the center of the ring. Mal then directs her attention to the fallen blonde, before putting her in the powerbomb clutch... And smirking at the cheering crowd. Bennett then deadlifts Charlotte onto her shoulders and lets her upper body fall to the top rope, being bounced upwards... Only for Mal to spin and POWERBOMB CHARLOTTE INTO THE UNFOLDED STEEL CHAIR!

Zack: MERRY MALADY!!! She didn’t even NEED to do that, Charlotte ain’t waking up in four days after that leap of faith!

Charlotte collapses and twitches while Mallory smirks and nods approvingly... Before she slithers on top of the blonde to make the cover!

ONE!

Raven is stirring at ringside but she can't gather enough power on her legs to get up and avoid the endgame!

TWO!

THREE!!!

Mal then rolls away from Charlotte and shakes her head, as her music plays once more and trainers begin to rain from the back to aid the three combatants. Mallory dismisses any kind of help or concussion check before she powers back to her feet and is given her championship belt back from the referee right before getting her hand raised.

Maggie: The winner of this match... AND STILL FFW Ultraviolence Champion... "MALICIOUS!" MALLORY! BENNETT!!!

Zack: And talk about a victory with a capital V! Mallory didn’t even need to be the most violent to win; she just had to be the smartest! She capitalized on the war between Charlotte Harker and Raven Knight, and bid her time almost perfectly!

Mai: And the 15-foot tall cage was their undoing! Those goddamn drops they took were the end of their match, and… And we may have to wait for some concussion checks to see if they can get back on their feet in time for the next challenges! Good lord!

The show cuts back to the ring as the crowd sees what match is coming up next, causing quite a buzz as Maggie gets their attention on the ring.

Maggie: The following tag team contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is part of the Global Wars series!

Zack: I’ve been waiting for this one! Fans, if you listened to the promo for Team USA, I have a feeling we’re gonna see one hell of a fight right here! I’m joined for this match by Christian Kincaid, who is certainly the inspiration for Team USA here. You’re not going to come out with them?

Christian: Glad to be here, Zack. And as for coming out with them? Well I don’t need to for this one.

The lights in the arena go almost out, allowing yellow and blue strobes to take effect as the quietly intense opening of Rev Theory’s “Something New” starts over the speakers. On the sound of the notes, the crowd jeers and from under the stage, The Brazilian Storm, Bianca and Mel, are lifted.

Love to hate, repeating my mistakes
Now there's no one left to listen...
No one left to listen...
Take a chance, and fuck the consequence
When there's no one left to listen...
No one left to listen...

The two friends look to each other, grin and fist bump. Looking out around them, they continue to grin at the reaction they’re getting. From there, they begin their walk towards the ring.

Right now! We’re taking control!
Tired of waiting! Tired of waiting!
For something new!
Right now! We’re taking control!
Tired of waiting! Tired of waiting!
For something new!

Maggie: Introducing first… From Rio de Janeiro and Porto Alegre, Brazil… MEL AVILO… BIANCA SALVADOR… THE BRAZILIAN STORM!!!

As they get about halfway down, the fans begin cheering very loudly. It causes the girls to give each other a curious look just as Kelly and Scarlett ambush them after running down after them. Both halves of the Storm catch forearms to the back before Kelly & Scarlett spin them around, and start unloading with right hands upside their heads. The fans roar in approval as Scarlett sends Mel into the barricade back first before following her in with a running clothesline that sends her over it. The Fast Track Champion hops over with her, pulling her up by the head and smacking it against the wall with the fans cheering loudly.

Zack: Team USA didn’t want to wait for the match to start, it’s starting now! Mel’s out in the crowd right now, and the Fast Track Champion is going with her!

Christian: See what I mean? I didn’t need to come out with them for this, because well...it’s not like they were going to have an entrance.

Bianca tried to get to her feet, only for Kelly to grab her by the head and the trunks to ram her into the other side’s barricade. She grabbed her arm, and snapped it across the top of the wall, causing Bianca to yelp in pain before the acrobat scooped her up for a vertical suplex. However, she brought her down ribs first across the barricade. Bianca was hung doubled over the top of the wall as Kelly hopped up onto the top of the wall herself a few feet away. Like a cat, she darted towards the Brazilian blonde to deliver a guillotine leg drop that sent them both to the floor.

Zack: Kelly Kincaid, with catlike agility, just introduced Bianca into the floor! We don’t have a bell yet either, no one’s made it to the ring!

Christian: I’m sure they’ll get there eventually, but both Scarlett and Kelly kinda have a pound of flesh they are looking to extract first.

Meanwhile on the other side, Scarlett landed shot after shot with right hands. They reeled Mel back against the wall before she told the fans to move. Six fans left their seats before Scarlett used a release German suplex that sent Mel crashing onto the empty chairs. Avilo crumpled to the floor before Scarlett took a beer from one of the fans. As Mel tried to get up, she tossed it into her face and decked her with a discus punch to the floor again.

Christian: Scarlett’s not much of a beer drinker, Zack.

Zack: I’ve never seen these two like this! And I guarantee you that the Brazilian Storm or Team Brazil or whatever you want to call them weren’t expecting it either!

Scarlett climbed back over the barricade as Kelly was pulling Bianca to her feet. The pair fired her with velocity towards the ring, causing her to crash into the apron. Both halves of Team USA followed after her, and spun her around. Kelly fired off a knife edge chop, with Scarlett doing the same. The two girls took turns chopping Bianca’s chest until they scooped her up together, and slammed her across the steps. Salvador slid to the floor as referee Melinda Davis told them to get in the ring. Davis was pretty much ignored as Kelly pulled the top half of the stairs free, and Scarlett put Bianca’s arm across the other half as Kelly aimed her shot.

Zack: They weren’t kidding in that promo when they said they were going to break some arms, and Bianca Salvador’s about 3 seconds from being put on the shelf right now!

Christian: Neither of them are very religious, but they are strong believers in an eye for an eye. Or arm for an arm, in this particular case.

Zack: This crowd wants her to do it!

As Kelly was about to bring the top half of the steps down on Bianca’s arm, Mel emerged over the barricade and tackled her from behind. Kelly fell forward and dropped the steps in the process to the floor. Avilo hammered shots across her back to keep her down until Kelly rolled onto her back and started firing shots into her face. The powerhouse stopped that cold with a headbutt to her nose that blinded her. She rose back to her feet with pain etched on her face before she got a tap on the shoulder. Mel turned around, got poked in the eyes before Scarlett planted her with a DDT.

Zack: Mel may have saved her partner from getting put on the shelf right there, but she forgot about the Fast Track Champion!

Christian: I think she remembers her now.

Bianca had made it back to her feet as Scarlett caught her with an elbow across the jaw. The brunette tossed her into the ring under the bottom rope, and slid in after her. Davis called for the bell to finally start the match as Scarlett charged the blonde. She caught her with a clothesline that drove her back into the corner, and then climbed up to the middle rope. The champion rained ten fists down on Bianca’s head before she let her stumble out, and Scarlett darted past her with a running neckbreaker to another pop from the crowd. It caught her off guard as she looked around at the very supportive crowd.

Zack: Well the match is underway now, and I don’t think Scarlett is used to this! This arena is right behind her, and I think she likes it!

Christian: Well let’s be honest, no one likes the Franchise other than the people in it! I’m not sure how long this match may go after all this though.

Kelly headed for her team’s corner as Scarlett shrugged her shoulders with a smile on her face. Unfortunately that gave Bianca enough time to headbutt her in the stomach when she turned back around. The blonde got back to her feet, and fired relentless knees into her body before she shoved Scarlett back into the opposite corner. Mel finally got up onto the apron, and made the tag. She joined Bianca as they whipped Scarlett across for the ride, and scooped her up on the rebound for a double flapjack to the mat. Salvador rolled out to the floor to head back to her corner, but didn’t make it when Kelly intercepted her before they began trading shots.

Zack: The Storm are trying to make this a tag match, but Scarlett and Kelly….well they just came to fight!

Christian: How often do you get to say that, Zack? I’m telling you they don’t give a damn if they win or lose this one. They just want to wreck the Storm!

Back in the ring, Mel pulled Scarlett back to her feet and scooped her up over one shoulder. The powerhouse bolted across the ring with a running powerslam. She pummeled the champion with forearms to the head, and rose back to her feet. Scarlett started to get up as well, only to catch a kneelift from Mel before she was lifted overhead with a gorilla press. Silver was slammed to the mat before Mel dropped down to make the cover.

Christian: Hindsight being 20/20, I think they might should have just made this tornado tag when it was booked.

ONE!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Scarlett kicked out, and fired an elbow into Mel’s head as she did. The Fast Track Champion rolled away from her to the ropes, and started to get to her feet. But Mel was right behind her, landing a kidney punch into her lower back before scooping her up for a belly to back suplex.

Zack: Mel’s easily the strongest woman in this match, but she’s gonna have to do more than that to keep Scarlett down for a three. I think we’ve restored a little order on the floor too!

Kelly and Bianca had separated to their corners again. The former acrobat started pounding the turnbuckle, trying to get the crowd even more behind Scarlett. And it was working. The champion was slow to get back to her feet when Mel caught her in a rear waistlock. Scarlett began firing back elbows with both arms, catching Mel on both sides of her head. It made her let go and sent her stumbling backwards. Scarlett regained her wits about her as Mel came forward to grab her from behind, only to catch a stunner from Scarlett that popped the crowd.

Zack: Where did that come from?! Mel got her jaw jacked, and a capacity crowd in the AllState Arena is...CHEERING for Scarlett Silver!

Christian: None of them have ever seen her like this. But you and I, Zack, we know how good she is.

The champion pulled herself together...until Kelly came in and pulled her towards the corner to tag herself into the match legally. The acrobat immediately hopped up onto the top turnbuckle, measuring and delivering a top rope elbow drop to Mel’s chest. She nipped back up to her feet, and took off towards the ropes. As Avilo got back to a vertical base, Kelly used the ropes for a springboard into a tornado DDT. She turned her attention back to Bianca in the corner who looked as though she were about to get involved, and took off towards her with a dropkick to the chest that sent her to the floor.

Zack: The Brazilian Storm is the only team in this match that’s trying to win it! Kelly and Scarlett just came to do some damage, and are doing a helluva job!

Christian: Usually I like to give my clients a little pep talk before they got out, kinda get them motivated. These two ended amping me up to see this thing, Zack.

Kelly doubled back towards Mel, only to run into a shoulder tackle that drove her back into the Storm’s corner. Mel began drilling her shoulder into Kelly’s body repeatedly before she sat her on the top rope. After climbing up with her, Mel executed a belly to belly overhead suplex that put Kelly down onto the mat. She doubled back after her, and dropped down to make the cover with a hook of the leg.

Zack: Nothing but hard impact from Mel Avilo, and she’s ready to call it a night right now!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

T-NOPE!!

Kelly rolled her shoulder in time before the three came down. She shoved Mel off her, and started to get up before Mel dropped her with a reverse DDT. Avilo doubled back for the corner to make the tag to Bianca.

Christian: You got to give the Storm some credit. They are showing why they have been so successful as a tag team, but the difference here is they aren’t facing a team who is necessarily trying to win this match.

Salvador immediately Kelly down to the mat in a front facelock, and began a gator roll around the ring. She rolled them both in several directions for a few seconds until she pulled Kelly up, and drove her down with a brainbuster. Kelly had been weakened greatly at this point as she tried to get back to her feet, only for the “Typhoon” to slap on a full nelson to the former acrobat. She shook her violently for a few seconds, and stepped on the back of her leg to bring her down to the mat on her knees.

Zack: That gator roll is designed to take all the energy out of you in a hurry, which is why alligators do it when they are going after their prey.

Christian: I think she’s borrowing that from Caroline’s playbook, but this full nelson is definitely one of her personal favorites in the ring.

The referee moved around in front of Kelly to see if she wanted to stop the match. Davis got no such answer though as Kelly’s arms began to move a little. Bianca leaned into her, trying to increase the pressure greatly as Kelly struggled back to her feet and towards the ropes. Salvador tried to pull her back until Kelly walked up the ropes, and pushed off to land on top of Bianca in an inadvertent pin attempt. Davis immediately slid into position to make the count.

Christian: I don’t think Kelly’s trying to pin her, but if Bianca doesn’t release that full nelson, that’s what is going to happen!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NOPE!!

Bianca shoved Kelly off her to break the count. The Coney Island native collapsed to the mat, but pushed up to all fours trying to pull herself together while Bianca looked for her corner.

Zack: Kelly’s trying to find that second gear, another burst of adrenaline right here! Meanwhile, Bianca’s just trying to find her corner!

Salvador made it to her corner, and reached out for a tag from Mel. The powerhouse stepped back into the ring, pulling Kelly up from behind. But she surprised her with a Pele kick to the mouth that dropped Mel to a seat on the mat, slumped over. Kelly headed for her corner, and Scarlett tagged herself back into the match. The Fast Track Champion bolted for the far side ropes, and came back with a knee trembler that laid Mel out on the mat. She doubled back to the corner, and came off the top with a knee drop followed by one more. She quickly went back to the corner, and headed up top.

Christian: There goes the BOOM BOOM, Zack. And to a nicer girl it couldn’t have happened.

Zack: Scarlett’s definitely picked up the pace here, and she may be thinking about putting the Storm away here!

Scarlett left her feet and went for her top rope elbow drop. But Bianca caught her with a superkick on the way down that dropped her in midair. She pulled her partner over her for the cover, and went to intercept Kelly who was coming into stop it!

Zack: A superkick…..Scarlett fell from the heavens right into it!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

The referee called for the bell, and Bianca immediately dove out of the ring and pulled her partner with her. The referee went out after them to raise their hands as Kelly glared daggers towards them.

Maggie: Here are your winners…..TEAM BRAZIL….MEL AVILO AND THE ‘TYPHOON’ BIANCA SALVADOR!!

Christian: If ever there were a dictionary of quotes, that right there would be the picture to go with “snatching victory from the jaws of defeat” if I ever saw it.

Zack: The Storm pick up a win in what turned out to be a wild melee with Kelly & Scarlett tonight. And if I was a betting man, I’d wager neither of them are finished with the Franchise!

Kelly helped Scarlett to her feet, who was still a little woozy as the pair looked back to the Storm. Mel and Bianca were almost to the back, but making sure to keep an eye on the girls in the ring as we cut to a commercial for Future Shock Nemesis.

Steph’s Next Move

We head backstage once more where the click-click-click-click of heels is being heard. The AllState Arena finds cameras on the Witch of Wall Street and former Evolution champion, “The” Stephanie Stefano as she’s clad from top to bottom in full length business dress, from a long coat, buttoned power suit and skirt combo and the ever clicking gray heels as she thumbs through a small stack of papers, eyeing over the top of her glasses with them. She seems to find just the person she was looking for as she calls out to him.

Steph: Hey Adam! Wait a second!

The Future Shock Director stops in his tracks, and turns around to give the longest reigning Evolution Champion his attention.

Adam: Steph, how’s it going?

Steph: At the moment? It’s going fine. My arm could be better and I can still hear a small rattling sound when I roll my head and neck but other than that? Excellent. How are you doing?

Adam: I got asked to help call the Evolution Championship match tonight, since it’s Missy and my biggest fan challenging. I was just going to grab a Dr. Pepper to take out with me later.

Steph: I can’t wait to hear how you personally used your powers-that-be for the referee to make a faster count than normal, the lights aimed in a particular way or so on. Anyway, before you do get to watching our Evolution champion go to work...

She thumbed through her paperwork before holding it out to him.

Steph: My resume. Also attached is a number of metrics on Future Shock’s product month-by-month. I know you have your own notes on the matter, these are just mine from as a third party and my take on biggest competitors month-by-month.

He takes them from her, and begins leafing through the pages.

Adam: Well I’m pretty familiar with your resume in the ring. I mean you started in Future Shock, so….but as for the metrics, well...this certainly is a better way than Dante tried with me. He threatened to have all of Canada stop watching the show if I didn’t hire him. What exactly are you looking to do on the show?

The former Evolution champion grinned.

Steph: Would you believe that I just got out of a meeting with Samantha this morning? I’ll spare you the... Messy details, but I’m eyeing up a chair at the commentary table. I would never dream of replacing Zack. He has an eye for the business that has never fallen away due to age or older perspective and I suspect he never will.

There’s a ...Veiled insult or jab somewhere in there from Stephanie.

Adam: So….you want to replace Lyn? Well that’s an interesting proposition, for sure. But his contract doesn’t expire till the end of the year. And last we talked about it, I think he is hoping to renew and stay on with Zack. He enjoys it, and likes seeing the next generation of women coming to FFW.

Stephanie seems to nod, even acquiescing silently to Adam’s words before she eyes the director for a moment.

Steph: Of course and who wouldn’t? While he likes it, there’s only so much he can offer to that next generation of women. You said it yourself. I’m from Future Shock. I came in through the system. He is a well-traveled wrestler who’s seen it all and won it all... Almost. Ehem. I can say the exact same and more. Who better to offer their opinions then someone who has not only been in the ring... But was in that very same Future Shock ring before the up-and-comers?

Adam: Well that’s a very good point. I’ll tell you what I’ll do. If he changes his mind for some reason, you’ll be the first one I call to work out a deal. But if he doesn’t, there’s not really any solid grounds for just letting him go. But if he does change his mind, we’ll make it happen. Sound fair?

There’s something entirely terrifying in the way Stephanie smiles as she offers Adam a handshake, yet another veiled statement.

Steph: You will not regret this.

The Director nods his head at her statement before we cut away.

A video package shows the interactions between Valentina Lozano and Missy in recent weeks leading up to tonight’s match. The show cuts back to the ring, and Maggie flashes a smile before she begins.

Maggie: The following contest is a Pick Your Poison cash-in for the FFW Evolution Championship scheduled for one fall.

Zack: We’re gonna see both women who won Global Wars last year cashing in their Pick Your Poison contracts tonight, and both have pretty high stakes. I’m joined by the champion’s boyfriend here and the Director of Future Shock, Adam Grant. What brings you out here?

Adam: Well for one, it’s Missy’s first title defense. So I wanted to see it firsthand instead of the monitor. Secondly, her opponent likes to talk a lot of nonsense about me. So I figure I should have equal time.

As the lights go out in the arena, the following video is played on the big screen.

A pair of boots is shown walking across the screen. When they step onto the gold spotlight and turn to face the camera, the intro of "This Time I Want It All" by Pea McGee plays.

Then the camera pulls back to reveal Valentina Lozano, who's dressed in her wrestling gear and wearing her robe, standing in a dominant pose. Before long, Valentina begins to “levitate” upward, as if she is flying, just as the song drops, ending up…

…rising from beneath the stage, with the lights of the stage and the ramp illuminating in gold while the spotlight focuses on the stage. She’s still standing in a dominant pose, hands on her hips and squinching at the crowd in a look of detest, but nonetheless, ready to take care of business in the ring.

Maggie: Making her way to the ring, representing The Privileged Circle, hailing from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, weighing one hundred and thirty-five pounds. She is “The Latin Goddess”…

VALENTINA LOZANO!!!!!!

Valentina then confidently strides her way to the ring, with the spotlight completely focused on her and the arena erupts with a thunderous array of boos from the capacity crowd showering down on her, Valentina is soaking up the reaction, even though she ignores it. Meanwhile, while she’s walking down, Valentina's entrance video is shown on the big screen, profiling her likeness and footage of her in action.

As Valentina reaches the ringside area, she walks up and walks across the edge of the ring. She looks around the arena, not directly seeing the crowd through the darkness, but knowing that they’re out there as she sees the consistent flashing lights of the cameras and the still boisterous reaction from the crowd.

After wiping her feet on the apron and entering the ring, Valentina strides towards two opposite ring posts in where she climbs up and extends her arms out, looking on with a smirk and posing to the crowd with complete confidence. She’s taking in the atmosphere while the crowd reaction continues and the cameras flashing.

After going through her ritual, Valentina climbs down and makes her way towards the corner to take off her robe and then readies herself as she waits for her opponent to arrive or for the match to begin.

Zack: Not just the title is on the line here tonight, fans, but also points in Global Wars for either England or Canada. And England could use them! Adam, Valentina is one of your harshest critics in recent months.

Adam: I’m aware. I hear everything she says or she tweets. Every opponent I put against her or Isis in Future Shock is my favorite. Every single one. Only problem with that is if they are all my favorites, then I don’t have any favorites. It’s easy to debunk some things wrestlers say if you think them through, Zack.

The lights in the arena go off before a single purple spotlight hits the stage. As the opening bars of Wild Side by Cross My Heart Hope To Die starts to play Missy appears at the entrance way. Missy stands perfectly still, as her head stays bent, looking towards the ground and her manager Christian Kincaid walks out to stand behind her.

I've been on my best behavior
But I've heard that good girls finish last
And once you're gone they say no one can save you
But who knows if I go I may never want to ever come back

We've all fell victim to temptation
It seems that I'm the last one holding on
What's the use in fighting for my salvation
And why does it feel so damn right to want to be so wrong

At the side of Missy purple lights flash on and off, looking almost like fireworks, causing a wave of oohs and cheers to escape from the crowd. As the lights subside, Missy raises her arms up to the air and a single white spotlight accompanies the move.

I just wanna dance with the devil tonight
I wanna know what it feels like
I wanna close my eyes, put my hands in the sky
I wanna walk on the wild side

Maggie: Introducing at this time…. Hailing from Leeds, England, the FFW Evolution Champion… she is MIIIIISSSSSY!

Missy makes her way down the ramp to the ring keeping her eyes straight ahead, focussing on the ring, with Christian following a few steps behind. When she reaches the ring she slowly climbs the steel steps, building the crowd to fever pitch with anticipation, she climbs elegantly between the bottom and middle rope and climbs up onto the middle rope. She smirks before blowing a kiss out to the crowd as her theme music ends.

Zack: You’d know better than anyone, Adam. How nervous is Missy heading into her first title defense against Valentina? Any butterflies?

Adam: If you don’t have any butterflies coming through the curtain, I’m not sure you should still be doing this. But while there are a few nerves, the overwhelming majority of her feelings is she flat out doesn’t like Valentina and is more focused on putting her down for England and for the title.

Referee Kevin Fisk takes the championship from Missy, and raises it above his head before handing it off to Maggie as she leaves the ring. He checks both women for foreign objects, and calls for the bell. They meet in the center as Valentina points over to Adam in the booth, telling Missy something that only seems to make her more angry as Valentina speaks. Lozano goes to slap her, but Missy blocks it and starts firing right hands into her jaw with reckless abandon. Shot after shot lands, sending Valentina backwards a couple steps before Missy catches her with a spinning heel kick in the stomach. It doubles her over long enough for Missy to land a DDT.

Zack: I don’t know what Valentina said about you, but it definitely fired Missy up and she’s unloading on the #1 contender.

Adam: I can’t say as I’m too surprised by it. That’s what happens when you try to infuriate your opponent in any match. You run the risk of getting clobbered.

Lozano started to get up to all fours, and caught a kick in the ribs from Missy. Two more followed it before Valentina was on her feet, and then pulled into a side headlock followed by a bulldog into the corner. Lozano’s head hit the middle turnbuckle before Missy hopped up onto it. When the challenger tried to get vertical, Missy came off the middle rope with a guillotine leg drop that smacked her face down onto the canvas. A knee drop to the back of her head followed that before Missy rolled her onto her back, and went for the cover.

Zack: Valentina’s getting her clock cleaned right now, and Missy’s ready to put some points on the board!

ONE!!!

TWO-NOOOO!!

Valentina shoved her off the cover to break the count. She sat up to collect herself before Missy dropped an elbow into the top of her head. The champion quickly pulled both arms behind her, and planted her knee between Valentina’s shoulders into a bow and arrow submission.

Adam: I’m wondering if Valentina comes up short here if she’s going to blame Samantha like she does me. It tends to be par for the course, and I look forward to the response if she does.

Missy leaned back, pulling further on Lozano’s arms as the referee moved around in front of the challenger to ask for a submission. Valentina shook her head no without question, but her face grimaced in pain. She started trying to slide her legs towards the ropes, and finally managed to get her foot underneath the bottom rope to get a break. Missy let go at four, and rose to her feet to fire a front kick along Valentina’s back that froze her up briefly.

Zack: Working over the back is something that Valentina tends to do in many of her matches, and it looks like Missy has adopted that strategy in this title match.

Adam: I’m sure she and her manager worked out all that well ahead. Usually you see wrestlers trying to take the legs out of a powerful opponent, but the back works just as well.

Valentina starts to get to her feet again when Missy goes to grab her head. But the challenger surprises her by driving her backwards into the corner. She starts pounding shoulder thrusts into her ribs immediately, taking the wind out of Missy. The fans boo as Valentina snatches her out of the corner by the arm, scoops her up and delivers a gutbuster that folds the champion up on the mat for a moment. After taking a couple seconds to attend to her own back, Valentina pulled Missy up with her. She hoisted her up, holding her in place for a few seconds before falling back with a vertical suplex to the mat.

Zack: Valentina’s starting to get back into her comfort zone now, and returning the favor on the damage Missy was causing to her back.

Adam: She definitely knows what she’s doing in there, no question of that. She wouldn’t lasted as long as she has in FFW if she didn’t. It’s just her attitude and nothing ever being her fault.

Missy started to sit up, only to get pulled up by Valentina the rest of the way. She shoved her chest first into the ropes before firing a kidney punch into her lower back. Two more followed that froze the champion up for a moment until Lozano ducked her head between her legs and drove her into the mat with an electric chair. She quickly floated over, and hooked the let for the cover as the referee dropped into position to make the count.

Zack: The bottom just dropped out for Missy, Lozano looking for Evolution gold!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

NOPE!!

Missy’s shoulder pops up at the two count, and Valentina immediately gets back to her feet. She steps onto Missy’s hair, and then pulls her up by the arms. It makes the brunette shout in pain as the referee gets to a four count before she lets go.

Adam: Now she’s just toying with her. And that’s where a lot of wrestlers run into trouble, not just her. But they still do it.

Missy rolls away from her to try to get up, and Valentina stays right behind her. She pulls her hand between her legs, and puts her down with a pumphandle slam. The champion tries to roll away again, but gets caught by her feet by the challenger who pulls her back to drop an elbow into her lower back. Missy climbs back to her feet again, only to get fired across for the ride. Valentina catches her on the rebound with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker before looking for the win with another cover.

Adam: You either have to be very strong or your opponent very light to pull that off. In this case, it’s both.

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

T-NOPE!!

Missy kicked out just after the two, and Valentina headed for the corner. She crouched down against it with a confident smile on her face, waving for Missy to get back to her feet. The champion was slow to oblige her. When she did though, Valentina launched towards her for what looked like a spear...but Missy brought her knee up and caught her flush in the face. It dropped her to the mat, and the crowd began once more getting behind the champion.

Zack: What a counter! Lozano went for a spear, and got nothing but a hard knee from the Evolution Champion! She may have dislocated her jaw right there!

The champion stumbled backwards, leaning forward a little as she favored her back. Missy headed for the corner now, and climbed up to the top rope. Valentina slowly began to push up to all fours on the mat before Missy perched herself. As soon as Lozano was vertical and turned, Missy launched herself into a meteora to Valentina’s chest, plummeting her to the canvas. The champion rolled off, and started back to her feet again.

Zack: Missy with a meteora all the way from Leeds, and she may be closing in on a successful title retention right here!

Adam: I’ve not seen her use that one before that I can recall, damn effective though. She might should make use of it again in the future.

Missy headed for the ropes, her teeth gritting in pain because of her back. But as Valentina started to push up to all fours, the Evolution Champion bolted from the ropes and went for her curb stomp. But Lozano avoided the contact, causing Missy to land awkwardly on her feet. When she turned around, she ate a bicycle kick to the mouth from the challenger before Valentina dove into the cover.

Zack: A PRICELESS KISS….and we may have a new Evolution Champion!

ONE!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NOPE!!!

Missy’s shoulder comes up in time before the three, and Valentina rises back to her feet. She takes a second to collect herself, looking at the referee with momentary disdain.

Adam: There’s no way to take a boot in the face like that, and it not hurt like hell. But Missy used to compete in hardcore matches at one point in her career, she’s built up a lot of resilience.

Missy rolls onto her stomach, and starts to head for the ropes. The challenger follows after her, grabs the ropes with her hands, and begins to stomp away at the back of Missy’s head and neck repeatedly. She finally drives her down onto the mat again as Valentina took a step back to admire her handiwork.

Zack: Missy’s feeling the after effects of Valentina’s GODDESS STOMP-DOWN, and the challenger’s enjoying the scenery right now.

Adam: Yeah, she is. Another way you’d call it is she’s wasting time. If you have a champion down in a compromising position, logic says you go for the win, doesn’t it?

With the champion beginning to rise, Valentina took off for the far side ropes. She rebounded quickly and left her feet for what seemed to be a shoulder tackle, but Missy surprised her by grabbing her and falling backwards. Lozano’s neck fell across the top rope in a stun gun that started choking the challenger immediately. The champion fought back to her feet, and pulled her into an inverted Russian leg sweep. The crowd began to get louder still as she headed for the ropes, collecting herself and launching off them to catch Valentina with her curb stomp that smacked her face off the canvas.

Zack: There’s the MISCHIEF MAKER! She didn’t land it the first time, but one more attempt did the trick! Lozano doesn’t have a clue where she is right now!

Adam: Can you blame her? I think Missy got a little extra air under her that time for the curb stomp. Sometimes I get those if I forget to bring the milk home.

She headed for the corner, and immediately made her way to the top rope. The champion perched herself as Valentina started to roll onto her back, and Missy launched herself with a top rope frog splash that landed perfectly! She hooked both legs for the cover as the crowd came to it’s feet, while the referee did the opposite to make the count.

Zack: LI’L MISS MISCHIEF!!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Fisk called for the bell as Missy rolled off the cover. A wince of pain was seen on her face as she sat up, but a smile formed upon seeing 3 points being added for England onto the Global Wars scoreboard. She rose to her feet, and had her hand raised in victory.

Adam: I could take some shots at Valentina here, but I won’t. She came with an excellent plan in mind, but it’s obvious Missy had a better one. She may be my favorite Evolution Champion!

Maggie: Here’s your winner AND STIIILLL FFW Evolution Champion…………….MISSY!!

Fisk handed her the title, which she raised over her head and then looked back up with pride at the scoreboard to see her 3 points now included.

Zack: All kinds of pride for the champion! Her first defense is in the history books, and Team England is now on the Global Wars scoreboard! You can bet Lilly’s smiling somewhere too.

The champion rolled out to the floor, and had her hand raised by Christian with a bit of applause as well before the pair headed towards the back. From there, the show cut to a commercial for the upcoming Future Shock Pay Per View, Nemesis.

Maggie: The following contest is scheduled for one fall to a finish.

As “Rise” by Sixx A.M. we see the arena lights blinking in sync with the lyrics of the music. Nevaeh Summers eventually storms her way onto the stage before stopping at the top of the ramp and looking out at the crowd. Nevaeh is wearing black sunglasses as well as a Poisoned by Ivy military jacket with platinum trim. As we keep looking at Nevaeh we also spot her wearing platinum colored leather pants running down her leg. The side of each leg is laced up with black fabric, showing of her skin. On her feet we see black furry boots and kickpads. On the front of each kickpad appears her logo as there is a circle with “NS” in the center of it while “The" scrolls on the top and “Finest” scrolls on the bottom.

Nevaeh looks around the building, nodding her head, as she starts feeling the crowd. Nevaeh goes about pointing her left hand out to the crowd and moves it around as if she was conducting them. She then points to the crowd with her right hand, urging that side of the building on the same way. Nevaeh lowers her head, her hands still swaying to the crowd till she raises her head up and snaps her arms out to the side.

As Nevaeh strikes her signature pose three large white flames shoot up on each side of her on the stage The flames reach high into the air, till they turn into smaller flames bursting out of the stage out of the stage every other second. Nevaeh now lowered her head back down and looked towards the ring and began walking down the ramp.

Maggie: Making her way to the ring at this time she resides in Los Angeles, California by way of Atlanta, Georgia. She weighs in tonight at 120 pounds. She is Nevaeh Summers!!!

Nevaeh reaches the bottom of the ramp and stops for moment. Nevaeh now goes about removing her sunglasses and just casually tosses them out towards the crowd. Nevaeh than quickly runs to the ring, sliding in under the bottom rope and gets to a knee. Nevaeh just looks out for a moment before getting to her feet and approaches the middle of the ropes facing the hard camera. Nevaeh climbs up them, hooking a leg over the top rope and straddling it. Nevaeh now sits there and looks out to the capacity crowd. She eventually lowers her head and starts motioning her arms as if she's conducting them again. After a moment Nevaeh snaps her head back and her arms out. Multiple spotlights soon shift down onto her, basking her in the light.

Nevaeh keeps striking the pose till she sees fit. Once she has she gets off the ropes and makes her way to the opposite side of the ring where she puts one foot on the bottom rope and the other on the middle. She bounces on them while looking out to the crowd and stretches her arms out yet again, encouraging them to get louder.

She then waves her arms wildly at the crowd before heading to a corner.

Zack: It has been almost a year since Nevaeh has had a match in an FFW ring, and she is not getting an easy return as she goes up against possibly her strongest critic of all.

Mai: If you don’t want to be criticised, don’t do things that warrant criticism. It’s that simple.

The mad guitar of Trivium’s “To The Rats” assaults the PA, as glitched images of the open roads are shown in the big screen. When the drums kick in, a single volley of red fireworks shoot up from the stage, and the sound of a roaring engine can be heard as well. On her motorcycle, Alysson shows atop the entrance ramp wearing a full biker gear, holding her crowbar on one hand, forcing the engine so to make a loud roar noise, as if it could drown out the crowd’s boos. After that, she jumps off the bike and removes her helmet with her free hand, looking over the crowd and shaking her head, and smashing the crowbar into the ground a couple of times before opening her arms wide and letting out a loud war cry.

Maggie: And her opponent, from the Open Road... "The Outlaw" -- ALYSSON GARDNER!

After that, the Big Red walks down to the ring, removing her biker jacket and leaving it in the way along with her crowbar, before she rolls into the ring under the top rope. She then kipups back to her feet and starts showing off for the crowd, climbing the nearest turnbuckle, throwing more cross-arm horns and smirking at the booing crowd. Alysson then jumps down and takes shelter on her corner, eyeing her opposition directly in the eyes.

Zack: Alysson has been vocal about her issues with Nevaeh since her return to FFW was announced. I highly doubt that she is intending a welcome back that Neveah will enjoy much, if at all.

Mai: Alysson is doing a public service by highlighting Nevaeh’s shady past. She should be celebrated for revealing the truth, not vilified for it!

Referee Malcolm Parks completes a check of both women as Maggie makes her way out of the ring. Alysson makes a point loudly of telling Parks to check Nevaeh for illegal substances, which gets an eye roll from the returning wrestler. Happy that neither has anything illegal on them, Parks calls for the bell and Alysson dashes from her corner as if a starter pistol has just gone off. Nevaeh barely makes it two steps out of her corner, before Alysson reaches her and tackles her back into the corner. She starts to unload with elbow shots into the side of Summers’ head until the referee calls for a clean break. At a count of four, Alysson obliges by pulling Nevaeh out of the corner and whipping her into the opposite one. She follows her in with a shoulder thrust to the sternum, before she starts to unload with more elbow shots to her head. Again the referee calls for a clean break and again Alysson pushes it until a four count before pulling her out and firing her into the third corner. The same pattern continues, until Alysson has taken Nevaeh through each of the four corners. When the referee calls for the break at the fourth corner, Alysson pulls Nevaeh out straight into a short-arm clothesline, leaving her in a heap on the canvas.

Zack: That’s one way to knock the ring rust off someone I guess. Alysson’s anger is showing through already and the bell has barely even rung. This could end up being a long night for Nevaeh.

Mai: Alysson is just schooling Nevaeh on the error of her ways. It’s all for her own good.

Nevaeh starts to stagger back to her feet, looking a fair bit disorientated and Alysson doesn’t give her a second to gather her bearings before she fires her across into the ropes. Summers rebounds off them as Alysson leaves her feet to connect a dropkick to her chest, that knocks her straight back into them again. Rebounding off them a second time, Alysson catches her with a spin kick that sends her reeling. Narrowly managing to stay on her own two feet, Nevaeh gives her head a shake trying to gather her bearings, before Alysson comes off the top rope with a meteora to send the returning wrestler crashing to the canvas. Keeping her mounted position Alysson grabs Nevaeh by the head, before she starts to bounce it off the canvas like a basketball. Parks admonishes the ‘Outlaw’ and calls for a clean break, but again Alysson waits until the a count of four to actually oblige the request.

Mai: Nevaeh is going to end up wishing she had never come back by the time Alysson gets through with her!

Zack: Alysson is really pushing the referee’s counts as far as she can without actually being disqualified. Looking at her though, I doubt that being disqualified would even bother her, she seems intent on just hurting Nevaeh.

Getting back to her feet, Alysson shouts at Nevaeh to get up which the blonde is already trying to do. She makes it as far as her hands and knees, before Alysson drives both knees into her spine, forcing her face first into the canvas. Keeping her knees in the blonde’s back, the ‘Outlaw’ starts to unload shots into the sides of her head again. Another four count is reached before Alysson glares at the referee and storms back to her feet. Nevaeh rolls straight towards the ropes to use them to steady herself as she gets back to her feet, and narrowly manages to dodge to the side to avoid an oncoming dropkick from Alysson. The redhead instead gets caught between the middle and top rope.

Zack: That is one position that Alysson would not want to have ended up in. She’s caught in the ropes, and Nevaeh has a chance to pull herself together.

Mai: Alysson’s been in stickier spots than that I’m sure. She’ll have herself freed in no time, so Nevaeh is on borrowed time right now.

Alysson manages to untangle herself from ropes, and gets back to her feet inside the ring facing the outside. She takes a few steps back but before she can move any further, Nevaeh strikes with a drop toe hold, that drops Alysson throat first across the middle rope. Summers gets back to her feet, and immediately takes off towards the opposite ropes. Bouncing off them, she comes back to Alysson to land a crossbody across her back, forcing her throat down onto the middle rope more. She gets back to her feet a second time, as Alysson falls backwards away from the ropes, rubbing her throat and trying to get a breath.

Mai: Nevaeh just choked Alysson with the middle rope! That is absolutely disgraceful! She should be disqualified!

Zack: She hasn’t done anything to be disqualified for. I don’t envy Alysson that position though. I’ve never landed throat first across a rope before, but I can imagine it’s far from a joyous experience.

Nevaeh takes off towards the ropes again, as Alysson pulls herself together and gets back to her feet. Using them for a springboard, Nevaeh comes back with a springboard elbow drop that sends Alysson crashing back to the canvas again. She gets back up to her feet, only for Nevaeh to use a Russian legsweep to send her back down. The redhead gets up to her feet again, only for Summers to be waiting with a second Russian legsweep. Slightly slower this time, Alysson gets back to her feet and Nevaeh is waiting with a hip toss to send her straight back down again. Straight away the blonde leaves her feet to land a double knee drop into the centre of Alysson’s back. Without skipping a beat, Nevaeh rolls Alysson onto her back and hooks a leg to go for a cover, as Parks slides into position.

Zack: Nevaeh is looking to end this match now and make her return a successful one. But with how fired up Alysson is I doubt it will keep her down just yet.

ONE!!!

NOPE!!!

Alysson gets her shoulder up at almost the same time the one is counted, and roughly shoves Nevaeh away from her.

Mai: That was never going to get a three count so I don’t know why she even bothered.

Zack: If nothing else it gave Nevaeh a moment to regroup and gather her bearings after the early onslaught she took from Alysson.

Nevaeh uses the momentum to roll back up to her feet, and watches intently as Alysson starts to do the same. As soon as the ‘Outlaw’ is back to a fully vertical base, Neveah catches her with a spinning wheel kick, that sends her off balance but doesn’t drop her. Recovering her balance quickly, Alysson is met with a knife edge chop from Neveah that knocks her back a step. Another one follows, and another, and another until Nevaeh has Alysson backed all the way into the corner. Speeding up her flurry, she delivers a rapid fire style series of chops with the Illinois crowd counting her along. When she gets to ten, and just as the referee is calling for a clean break, she pulls Alysson out of the corner and fires her into the ropes. Alysson rebounds and Nevaeh catches her with a kick to the gut that bends her forwards. The blonde reaches around and lifts Alysson up, spinning her in front of her. As she brings her back down, Nevaeh kneels and slams Alysson back first across her knee.

Zack: A near textbook tilt-a-whirl backbreaker from Nevaeh and that is going to hurt, especially after the double knee drop she had into her spine earlier.

Alysson bounces off to the canvas, clutching her back in pain as Nevaeh gets back to her feet. The redhead gets back to her feet still holding her back, but with a look of anger on her face. Nevaeh doesn’t waste a second in charging at the ‘Outlaw’ and delivering several forearm shots to her jaw to keep her on the back foot. She uses a jumping neckbreaker to send her back down to the mat. Alysson bounces straight back up and Nevaeh catches her as she does before hoisting her up into position for a snap suplex, but Alysson manages to work herself out of the blonde’s grip. Landing on her feet, Alysson stands upright only for Nevaeh to take her across the ring and use her running leg drop bulldog to faceplant her on the canvas. Summers quickly gets into place for the cover, as Parks drops down for the count.

Zack: That’s Nevaeh’s GOLDEN STATE OF MIND is she is wanting to end this match right now!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THR-NOPE!!!

Gardner gets her shoulder up just after the two and Nevaeh looks frustrated as she rolls back to her knees.

Mai: She can want to end it all she wants, but Alysson has something to say about that. She’s not going to let Nevaeh get her like that!

Summers gets back to her feet as Alysson rolls onto her front and pushes up to her hands and knees. The blonde starts to pull Alysson up to her feet from behind, but as soon as she is back up, she starts to throw back elbows wildly towards Nevaeh’s body. Several hit and Nevaeh releases her grip to try and avoid them. Spinning on a dime, Alysson grabs the blonde by the shoulders and pulls her forwards to drive her knee up into her ribs. Keeping her hold she delivers two more knee shots like that, before she fires her across into the ropes. Alysson catches her as she rebounds and uses a tilt-a-whirl DDT to drive her head into the canvas. Pulling her straight back up, Alysson fires her into the ropes again, and delivers a second tilt-a-whirl DDT before she hooks a leg for a cover of her own.

Zack: Pure anger seems to be driving Alysson on here, and after two of those DDTs in quick succession, I’m not sure if Nevaeh is going to be able to get up before the three.

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

TH-NO!!!

Parks stops the count as Nevaeh gets her shoulder of the canvas, only causing Alysson to look more angry as she kicks the blonde in the side before getting back up to her feet.

Mai: The referee should have just ignored seeing her shoulder then and given the three count to Alysson.

Alysson watches Nevaeh on the canvas for a moment, before she looks to the corner. Nodding her head like she has just decided on something, she takes off to the corner and climbs the turnbuckles. Perching herself like an animal in wait, she watches as Nevaeh pulls herself up to a vertical base. Almost the second she is, Alysson launches herself off with a hurricanrana to flip Nevaeh to the canvas again.

Mai: Nevaeh maybe shouldn’t have even bothered getting back up, but I’m glad she did, because Alysson’s TORNADO SCREAM is a thing of beauty.

Zack: It doesn’t look like Alysson is finished with Nevaeh yet either, she looks like she has something else in mind for her.

Looking at Nevaeh on the canvas, Alysson points upwards getting her a massive amount of disdain from the Illinois crowd as they recognise what is coming. She takes off towards the corner again and scales to the top rope. She steadies herself on it before flipping a double bird at Nevaeh still on the canvas. The redhead measures once more before launching herself off for her shooting star senton, which she lands perfectly across Nevaeh’s body. She hooks both legs as Parks slides into position for the count.

Zack: That’s G-EFFECT and Alysson is about to make Nevaeh’s return match an unsuccessful one.

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Nevaeh gets her shoulder up just a moment too late, as Parks as already counted the three and is getting back to his feet to call for the bell.

Maggie: Your winner via pinfall…………………………..ALYSSON GARDNER!

Mai: I’m betting that’s not the welcome wagon that Nevaeh was expecting or wanting for her return. Too bad.

Zack: Nevaeh has proven that she doesn’t have much if any ring rust at all, but Alysson’s anger was firing her on to the win tonight.

Alysson gets back to her feet under a loud hail of boos from the Illinois crowd to have her hand raised by Parks. As soon as he releases it, she glares at Nevaeh on the canvas, before rolling out of the ring and making her way to the back. On that the show cuts elsewhere.

Back Back Back Again

The next image we see is one we haven’t seen in FFW in some time, and that would be the former Future Shock Tag Champions NHB. The camera finds them in a locker room with their agent, Carson Black, seated across them.

Carson: Excellent news, ladies. I’ve been in discussions with Mr. Star all weekend, and I am very happy to inform you that you are both going to be returning to the FFW roster very soon. He was highly impressed with your Future Shock Tag Team Championship run, and will be including you both going forward.

The smaller of the two women nodded her head.

Jem: Thanks Carson. I’ll be honest, it kinda… sucks… Not that we’re not Champions - I mean that day was always going to come. Eventually. Just the way we were dethroned. With the whole chair. Then all of the celebrations and bragging after.

This time she shook her head.

Jem: Makes me pretty glad we get to step back into the ring with them at Future Shock Nemesis. A chance to wipe the smug smile off their faces.

Angela: And now we’ve got new challenges coming up as we return to the main FFW roster and believe me, we’re going to have our eyes locked on the Scarborough Fair and the Unity Tag Team titles. We want to climb the ladder and get ourselves into a position to challenge for those. See if we can’t get ourselves our second tag team championships.

Carson: That is the goal of every team. But I do think focusing on Nemesis right now is probably for the best. Neither of you have ever been in a Pay Per View main event, especially one of this importance. I know Mr. Grant is counting on you both, as well as Harley Shannon, Bianca Reed, and Nora Harris.

Angela: Fully focused on Nemesis. We’ll prove that Mr Grant is right to trust us to take the fight to Gold Standard. Personally I think he’s picked an excellent fivesome. There’s talent all the way through the team, women who have proven time and time again how good they are. Harley’s a two time Future Shock Champion, Bianca’s a former Aspire Ring holder who made her three defences and comes ready to fight every single night and has the ability to burrow under a person’s skin that could always force a mistake without even needing to throw a punch. While Nora… she’s overflowing with potential to be a MAJOR star in this business.

Jem: And we bring strength, speed and a whole lot of experience. We’ve probably got more experience of this business and tag team wrestling than all the other ladies in this match combined. Plus we REALLY want to get one other on the Gold Standard. I’d absolutely love to take the fight to them and wipe the smiles off their faces, bring them back down to earth with a pretty hefty bump. I actually can’t think of a better way to sign off on this chapter of our time in Future Shock by bringing Mr Grant a victory.

Carson: I also have you scheduled to be in Brooklyn on the 11th for the charity show. You aren’t booked, but many of the women on both rosters are going to be taking pictures with some of the children attending as souvenirs for them to remember the show. And I knew you both would be more than happy to be included in that.

Both girls nodded their heads.

Jem: More than happy. In fact we’ll do anything and everything that we can for those kids, to give them a wonderful night and raise as much money as we possibly can for St. Jude’s.

Angela: Yeah, it’s a hugely worthy cause and we encourage everyone to go to the FFW or Future Shock websites to donate whatever they can or order all the merchandise they’ve been holding off buying on the night of the show. And hey, you know, Christmas will be here before you know it and who wouldn’t love to get some FFW or Future Shock merchandise under the tree? Plus you get to fight pediatric cancer into the bargain.

Jem: And I’m sure if you under anything NHB related on the day of the show, we’ll be able to throw in some special little surprises in with your order too. Even if it means we’ve got to sit around and sign thousands of photos.

Carson: As I knew you would, ladies. Join me and let’s go sign your paperwork, shall we?

Carson lead both of them out of the room, and the show cuts back to the ring.

Maggie: The following contest is scheduled for one fall to a finish.

The arena goes dark for just a moment, the funky opening chords to Voodoo Johnson's "Dirty Angel" playing through the PA, before the white lights are replaced by swirling green replacements, bathing the arena in the favorite color of the Emerald City Siren. A few seconds pass, though, before Sophia Pike actually makes her way out through the curtain, met--immediately--by a chorus of boos, which she largely brushes off with a flick of of either wrist. She pauses at the head of the ramp, chewing a piece of gum fairly obviously, and shaking her head at the collective audience, for whatever reason.

Clearly in no particular hurry, judging by the utter lack of pace, Sophia makes her way down the ramp. About halfway to the ring, one fan is able to get past the practiced apathy of the Siren, and she actively gets in his face, shouting...something, that for the most part can't be heard over the music playing in the arena. Whatever the fan says back to her seems to amuse the self-proclaimed Queen of King County, who just smirks and waves him off, making the shorter trip down to the ring and climbing up onto the apron. She leans back against the ropes, grinning with a little more joy than one should probably get out of being almost unanimously booed, even raising both arms and beckoning the crowd to get even louder--which they happily do, as the Siren climbs into the ring.

Maggie: Introducing first, from Seattle, Washington, and weighing in at 137 lbs, this is the "Emerald City Siren," SOPHIA PIIIIIKE!

Sophia winks at Maggie and grins, climbing up onto the second turnbuckle and stretching both arms out, bending just a little bit at the waist and leaning herself forward. She shouts something at the sections of fans she can see, but again it's mostly unheard. Eventually, she hops off the turnbuckle and pulls her Queen of King County shirt off, tossing it out into the crowd...who promptly throw it back at the Siren. For her part, Sophia either doesn't notice or doesn't care, just settling herself back in the corner, waiting for the match to begin.

Zack: This has been billed as a dream match, two of the best submissionists in the world come face to face and Sophia is no doubt going to want to prove her mettle against a longstanding talent like Caroline.

Mai: She really doesn’t have anything to prove, her ten month long reign with the No Surrender Championship did her talking for her.

“You can sound the alarm, you can call out your guards!
You can fence in your yard, you can hold all the cards...
BUT I WON’T BACK DOWN...! OH NO I WON’T BACK DOWN!
OH NO!”

The lights in the arena flash after going out and the crowd cheers as while purple lights flash around the video wall. Emerging through a cloud of smog is Killer C, followed by Lyndon in a three piece suit and a cane. Caroline drops down in a crouched position and draws a circle on the ramp leading to the ring, a morose look on her face before she stands back up. As they head to the ring, Caroline claps a few hands with the crowd before rolling into the ring and sitting on the top turnbuckle while Lyndon jumps onto the apron.

Maggie: Accompanied to the ring by Lyndon Dallins, from Tampa Bay, Florida by way of San Fernando, Trinidad and Tobago... She weighs in tonight at 155 pounds... This is.... KILLER C!

Caroline drops down to the ring and spares a few final words with Lyndon before looking to the referee for the match to begin.

Zack: Caroline is no stranger to the No Surrender Championship herself, after her nine month reign with it back in the later stages of 2013 into 2014. Former Champion meets former champion tonight, for the first time ever!

Mai: Sophia’s reign was a month longer, so she’s automatically better than Caroline!

Zack: It doesn’t quite work that way, Mai!

With the Illinois crowd still on their feet in anticipation, Maggie makes her way out of the ring and referee Kevin Fisk checks both competitors for anything illegal. Finding nothing he calls for the bell to get the match underway and both women make their way straight to the centre of the ring. The two submissionists lock up in a collar and elbow and immediately start the struggle to get the upper hand. Caroline takes the early advantage and manages to push Sophia back a few steps, before Sophia plants her feet and starts to push back. Sophia manages to flip the advantage and instead starts to push Caroline backwards towards the ropes. Dallins breaks the tie up and quickly clocks Sophia with an uppercut that sends the Emerald City Siren’s head whipping backwards. She straightens up and straight away catches a second uppercut, before Caroline uses a headlock takedown to take her to the canvas.

Zack: Caroline has wasted no time in getting Sophia to the canvas, and keeping her where she wants her with that headlock.

Mai: Only because she knows she’ll have no chance if Sophia gets a chance to lock a hold in on her.

Zack: Sure. That’s the reason. Alright.

Sophia uses her knees to try and hit Caroline to force her to release the headlock, and when that doesn’t work, she switches to throwing punches into Caroline’s body. Managing to land a kidney shot that momentarily freezes Caroline in place, Sophia takes advantage to escape the headlock and push herself back to her feet. Grabbing Caroline by the head, she pulls her back up to her feet and smacks her across the jaw with a forearm shot. Caroline reels but keeps her balance and Sophia follows with a second forearm shot to the same spot. Again Caroline manages to keep her balance, until Sophia starts to hammer forearm shots one after another like they are going out of fashion.

Mai: We’ll see a difference now that Sophia has control. No more easy takedowns for Caroline, she should have made the most of the first one!

Zack: I doubt that Caroline is expecting or wants an easy match, but she can more than hold her own in a match.

The Emerald City Siren makes a grab for Caroline’s arm, but she quickly pulls it out of her reach and uses her other hand to grab the back of Sophia’s head, before driving her knee up into her face. Pulling her forwards by the head, she delivers two more knees up into her face before she spins her around and locks her arms around a waist. She makes a move to lift her up, but Sophia starts to fire elbow shots back into Caroline’s body. Several hit their target before Caroline releases her grip and Sophia spins on a dime to connect an uppercut of her own. Moving fast she successfully grabs Caroline’s arm this time and wrenches it before driving her elbow into it. Caroline grits her teeth against the pain and attempts to pull her arm back out of Sophia’s grip.

Zack: Sophia is already focusing on Caroline’s arm, and that elbow strike on her extended arm is going to cause a fair bit of pain.

Mai: Caroline might as well throw up the white flag now, since Sophia isn’t going to stop now she’s found her target.

Sophia tightens her grip on Caroline’s arm and transitions into a hammerlock before running Caroline towards the corner. Dallins puts her foot against the bottom turnbuckle just in time to stop herself from meeting it face first, and tries to fire elbows back with her free arm. Sophia dodges to the side so that none of Caroline’s shots hit their target as Fisk tells her to let Dallins out of the corner. Sophia sneers at him and drives her elbow into Caroline’s hammerlocked arm, before pulling her out of the corner at a count of four and using a hammerlock DDT to drive her into the canvas.

Mai: It’s a thing of beauty to watch Sophia work!

Zack: I’m sure that Caroline is finding this anything but beautiful, but it is still early days at the moment.

It looks for a moment like Sophia is attempting a cover, but as Caroline starts to rise, she changes her mind and instead pulls her up to her feet. She makes an attempt to grab the arm she has been working on, but Caroline snatches it away at the last second and charges her into the corner. Sophia hits back first with a thud and Caroline follows her in with a knife edge chop that gets a pop from the Illinois crowd. The reaction gets louder as Caroline really starts to light up the Emerald City Siren’s chest with chop after chop, until she has delivered a dozen in a row. She pulls Sophia out of the corner into a forearm to the jaw and fires her across into the ropes. Pike rebounds and Caroline catches her with a double leg takedown as she does, sending her to the canvas with a thud.

Zack: This match is a gambler’s nightmare at the moment, it is too close to separate these two women. I wouldn’t even want to a hazard a guess as to who will manage to win it!

Caroline gets back to her feet as Sophia is doing the same and gets behind her before she is fully back to a vertical base. As soon as Pike is upright, Caroline takes her across the ring using a running bulldog to faceplant her on the canvas. Caroline gets into position laying at the side of Sophia and hooks her far leg across her neck. She hooks her hands behind Pike’s head, having one arm pass over her own leg and the other under. Caroline pulls backwards with her arms and pushes forwards with her legs, getting a grunt of pain from Sophia as the pressure is applied. Fisk drops down in front of Sophia to ask if she wants to give in, but she gets a very definite and angry no in response.

Zack: Caroline has that Koji Clutch locked in, but I don’t think she’s applying maximum pressure thanks to the work that Sophia has already done on her arm.

Mai: The arms are one of the most effective body parts to target, there’s not much you can do without them after all. Sophia is one smart cookie!

Sophia starts to try to push up to her hands and knees, prompting Caroline to try and add more pressure to keep her down. It works for a moment until Fisk asks Sophia again if she wants to give in. As soon as he asks, Sophia shouts no at him and then starts pushing up again, this time making it further and forcing Caroline to release her grip. Dallins takes it in her stride and gets straight back to her feet, as Sophia is still on her hands and knees. Killer C grabs her around the waist to pull her back up to her feet, only to use a German suplex to drive her straight back into the canvas. Keeping her grip, Caroline pulls her back up and delivers another, and another and another, before she releases her and gets into position for a cover. Fisk drops down for the count as Caroline hooks a leg.

Zack: Sophia just ate four German suplexes in a row and we might be about to see the end of this match. Though I wasn’t expecting this one to end in a pinfall!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

NOPE!!!

The count stops just after the two as Sophia gets her shoulder off the canvas and shoves Caroline off her. Caroline rolls back to her knees only to catch a hard kick to the head from the Emerald City Siren before she rolls away and back up to her feet.

Mai: It’s going to take more than that to keep Sophia down obviously. Maybe if Caroline had gone for five or six it might have worked, but she slacked off at four!

Zack: I would hardly call four German suplexes in a row ‘slacking off’.

Caroline looks a little unsteady as she gets back to her own feet, which is only made worse when Sophia catches her straight away with a roundhouse kick to the jaw. Dallins stumbles backwards and a standing dropkick from the Emerald City Siren sends her all the way back into the ropes. She rebounds off them and straight into a second roundhouse kick to the head that drops her down to one knee. Pike doesn’t let her stay down for long as she pulls her back up by the head and then gets a grip on the arm she’s already been working on. A double knee armbreaker to that same arm follows which causes Caroline to let out a yell of pain. Sophia tries to get into position for her seated fujiwara armbar, but Caroline snatches her arm out of the way and makes it back to her knees rapidly.

Zack: Caroline is trying her best to keep that arm out of Sophia’s clutches, but Pike really is like a dog with a bone when she’s focusing on a limb.

Mai: Did you just call Sophia a dog? How rude. I hope she smacks you for that!

Zack: No! That’s not what I said at all. Stop trying to stir up trouble.

Sophia pops back to her feet and clocks Caroline with a superkick while she is still on her knees, which flattens her straight back down to the canvas. As the Illinois crowd boo the Emerald City Siren loudly, she turns around to give them the middle finger. She turns back to Caroline, just as Dallins kips back up to her feet. Sophie looks a little taken aback by this, and Caroline makes the most of the brief advantage to spin her around and wrap her arms to send her into the turnbuckle with another German suplex. Sophia crumples to the canvas after impact and Caroline straight away pulls her back to her feet and out of the corner. She lifts Pike up into position to use a table top suplex to throw her over head. Sophia lands back first on the canvas and Caroline immediately goes for the cover, prompting Fisk to get back into position for the count.

Zack: Caroline caught Sophia by surprise and she is going for another cover. This might be it!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NO!!!

The Emerald City Siren gets her shoulder up at the last possible moment and Caroline rolls back to her knees.

Mai: No, it’s not it! There’s only one way that this match is going to end and it’s not with a pinfall from Caroline!

Before Caroline can get any further than her knees, Sophia lunges at her and grabs the arm she has been working on. She yanks it towards her, twisting it in the process until she gets a yell out of Caroline. Dallins manages to shake her off and gets back to her feet, with Sophia following just behind. An elbow to the side of the head from Sophia rocks Caroline on her heels, before the Emerald City Siren grabs her by the arm and fires her into the ropes. As she rebounds, Sophia catches her and uses an arm drag to take her to the canvas. Pike quickly transitions into an armbar, but Caroline reaches out with her free hand to grab the ropes.

Zack: Sophia didn’t realise how close they were to the ropes, but Caroline certainly did and she saved herself from a painful armbar. Or she will have done once Sophia actually heeds the referee and releases the hold!

At the count of four, Sophia releases the armbar and gets her to her feet. Before Caroline can do the same, Sophia grabs the same arm again and uses it to drag Caroline away from the ropes. The Illinois crowd shower the Emerald City Siren with nothing but disdain, as the discomfort from Caroline’s arm shows on her face and she lets out a yell of pain.

Zack: She’s going to pull Caroline’s arm from the socket if she carries on with this!

Mai: I know, it’s great isn’t it?!

With Caroline far enough away from the ropes, Sophia quickly works on getting her into position for her seated Fujiwara armbar. The crowd rally behind Caroline trying to spur her on to escape it, as Fisk drops down in front of Caroline to ask if she wants to end the match. Caroline shakes her head in the negative, as the crowd continue to cheer her on.

Zack: That’s SPACE NEEDLE locked in and it could only be a matter of time now, before Caroline has no choice but to give in.

Mai: I hope she hangs in there for a while. The longer she holds on the more pain she’ll be in!

Sophia pulls back more on Caroline’s arm as she tries in vain to move herself towards the ropes. Pike smirks as she tells Caroline she can’t escape, and tells her to tap. Dallins doesn’t react to the trash talking and keeps attempting to reach out towards the ropes. Sophia pulls back even further on her arm, and gets a shout of pain in response as the agony is clear on her face. Fisk asks her again if the she wants to give in. Dallins doesn’t respond immediately, until Sophia pulls back even more on her arm. Fisk asks the question again, and reluctantly Caroline taps out. The referee immediately calls for the bell, to a large amount of disdain from the live crowd.

Maggie: Here is your winner via submission, ’THE EMERALD CITY SIREN’ SOPHIA PIKE!!

Zack: Sophia has just pulled of a win against one of the best submission wrestlers in the world. That has to be making her feel good.

Mai: I told you, didn’t I? I never had any doubt at all that she would do it.

Sophia releases her grip and gets back to her feet with a grin. The referee raises her arm, before she rolls out of the ring and heads back up the ramp. The camera focuses on her before cutting elsewhere.

Maggie: The following match is scheduled for one fall to a finish and is for the FFW No Surrender Championship!!!

Zack: I have a feeling we are about to see one for the highlight reels, fans. The No Surrender Championship is on the line in a match I wasn’t sure we would ever get to see.

Mai: I was pretty sure we’d see it when Starla announced it a few weeks ago. Weren’t you here for that part?

Sounds of thunder and lightning cast out, setting the atmosphere of the incoming Conqueror. The lights in the arena die out to allow for the spontaneous bursts of light that reflect the internalized storm.  As the silence takes hold, the startling opening guitar screech of Rammstein’s “Sonne” overtakes everything. It is followed by the infamous countdown.

“EINS, ZWEI, DREI, VIER, FUNF, SECHS, SIEBEN, ACHT, NOIN, AUS!"

Darkness falls over the entire arena, only broken by the miniscule twinkles of camera flashes in the crowd. A threatening violin floods the airwaves, with smoke collecting on the stage. As another section of the orchestral livens up, a sudden spotlight blasts onto the stage with a jet of pyro flying high up into the air. As it does, the Orchestra of Justice truly comes into its beautiful existence. On the stage, Artemis Kaiser appears, donning a new set of entrance apparel. Embroidered with many shimmering designs, Artemis’s military trench coat lightly moves as she rises onto the stage with her arms outspread. Bearing fangs fashioned onto a facemask and her eyes hidden behind shining red shades, Artemis steps down from the platform and into the smoke.

Maggie: On her way to the ring...fighting out of Toronto, Ontario, Canada by way of Mt. Pearl, Newfoundland, Canada...weighing in at an 135 pounds...she is the Last Empress...ARTEMIS KAAAAAAAAAISER!

Artemis marches down to the ring with her arms behind her back, not breaking her forward gaze. As the call concludes, the shot shows Artemis revealing her face to the camera and the audience. She removes her glasses, tucking them into the breast pocket of the coat. When she raises her head, the red streak, her scowl, and her stern expression completes all she wishes to do at her entrance. She continues to the western side of the ring, scaling the apron to stand on. She unbuckles the different pieces of her coat and politely hands it off to the stagehand. Showing her finesse, Artemis dips over the top with a rope-assisted backflip. She lands on her feet, giving the audience another pensive glare.

After which, she hits the mat again, rolling backward onto a knee. Her head rises to scan the audience as she remains in the dead center of everything, of her personal universe. The Last Empress rises off the mat, tugging on her black gloves. She pops each of her knuckles by pressing her index finger over them. After that and with her theme dying out, she turns her head to back to reality. She walks over to her corner, and gives the turnbuckle a brisk kick and stretches out.

Zack: Artemis Kaiser has been nothing but impressive since returning to FFW last year. And none of those wins were as impressive as defeating Caroline Dallins at Unstoppable 9! And that’s what earned her this shot tonight!

Mai: I know that. But Caroline’s not nearly as good as she used to be, in my opinion. Plus Artemis was too small for her, she kept losing her in the apron.

The entire arena goes dark as the sound of wind blows through the PA, after a moment a strange whine kicks on, slowly getting louder and drowning out the wind as blue and white light starts to slowly creep along the stage.

The silhouette of a woman walks out, shaded by the increasingly intense lights she comes to stand center stage before hunching over at the waist slowly as the sound and the light dim slowly. The sound turning down to nothing and the lights going so dull as to barely be perceptible.

A moment passes.

“FIGHT!”

BOOM!

The stage erupts with blue fireworks as the tron rains down white sparks just behind the now revealed Miko Ayano!

Maggie: Introducing from Saga, Japan. Standing five-foot-six-inches tall and weighing in at one-hundred-eighteen-pounds, she is the FFW No Surrender Champion... “THE WARP-DRIVE DRAGON” MIKO AYAAAAAAAAANOOOOOOOOOO~!!!

The Japanese woman surveys the crowd as the vocal droning of Anneke van Giersbergen heralds the Ayano’s arrival. After a moment Miko starts her trek down the ramp.

“Now we’ve arrived in a new time and world,
And elements are we of gold,
How many times are we able to see,
In the infinite void of the soul”

Miko arrives at ringside, she hops up onto the apron on a knee then comes to a stand, resting her forehead on the top rope for a moment.

“All that way,
Gonna give it away?
You’re gonna give it away to some muscle?”

With that she bolts to the corner from the apron, standing with one foot on the top buckle bracket and her other on the middle buckle bracket she raises surveys the crowd again.

“Long, long way,
Til the pain is at bay-”

Miko lifts her arm then with the scream of Devin Townsend-

“-SO HIT IT-”

- and pumps her fist-

“ONE!”

-to-

“MORE!”

-each-

“TIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIME!”

Word!

“FIGHT!”

BOOM! White sparks start falling from overhead as Miko leaps into the ring. The music twisting into a medly as the crowd is split between cheering and screaming along with Anneke’s backing vocals.

CROWD: ALIEN WORLD!

“ARROGANT MENTAL!
This world seems arrogant,
Sick and demented!”

CROWD: ALIEN WORLD!

“SOOO you bet your body and soul?”

Miko comes to a stand dead center of the ring as the chorus arrives, she slowly bends at the waist to rest her palms to the mat, the lights of the arena dimming as she lowers.

“IT HURTS, SO MUCH!
AND THAT IS WHY THEY FEAR IT!
BUT NEVER FEEEEEEEEEEEEAR!
ALL IS HEEEEEEEEERE!”

A blue strobe light pulsates with every word Townsend belts out.

“IT HURTS, SO MUCH”

At this Miko starts to rise slowly to a stand.

“AND THAT IS WHY WE FEAR IT!”

At this white spotlights star to spin around in dizzying patterns, highlighting the crowd in the darkened arena.

“BUT PAY NO MIIIIIIIIND!”

The entire arena starts flashing blue and white, just as-

“REJOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOICE!”

White and blue pyro explodes from each corner of the ring as Miko stands dead center of it, arms spread wide and head tilted back as powerful white floodlights illuminate the ring to an almost painful degree. The crowd roars and hucks several blue, silver and gold streamers into the ring for her as the lights slowly go back to normal
and the music fades out. Freeing herself from the streamers, Miko walks over to her corner to await the opening bell.

Zack: It wasn’t just Artemis that impressed the world at Unstoppable, so did this woman right here! Miko Ayano knocked off Sophia Pike in one of the most punishing matches I’ve seen in the history of this division.

Mai: That’s kinda what it takes to defeat Sophia, if you haven’t noticed by now. I mean Caroline didn’t do it earlier either. You know, maybe Caroline just sucks a lot more now...

Unhooking the No Surrender Championship from around her waist, she handed the title to Kevin Fisk; the referee showed the title belt to Artemis before holding it aloft for the crowd to see and finally handed it to a ringside attendant as Kaiser and Ayano moved to the middle of the ring and began to stare each other down. After a couple of moments, Fisk called for the bell to get the match underway and before it had even finished sounding Artemis began to lay into Miko with a series of vicious forearm smashes to the jaw, forcing Ayano back to the ring ropes. Kaiser immediately jerked the No Surrender Champion forward by her left wrist into a knee to the gut, followed by a second and then a third before stepping backwards as she yanked her foe into a short arm clothesline.

Zack: Artemis is a striking purist, and I don’t think there’s anyone in FFW who hits harder in the ring than her.

Mai: I have no idea if there is, and I don’t intend to find out. I’m a little conflicted on which one of them I should be supporting, because Miko stopped drinking and Artemis is still short.

The Canadian never let go of her opponent’s arm, keeping hold of the limb and twisting it into an arm wringer as Miko sat up. Ayano pushed upwards, getting her arm rotated around in its socket once more as she got to one knee; the challenger looking to increase the torque in the hold. As the Warp Drive Dragon made it back to her feet she was quickly on the receiving end of a series of stiff side kicks - each one driven home into her gut. The blows caused her to double over before Artemis snapped her arm downwards, forcing her to fall back to her knees, allowing Kaiser to step over her arm, jump slightly into the air and drop her body weight down into the limb. She pulled Miko’s arm straight once more only to once again bring her body weight crashing down across the bicep before she released her hold upon her arm, stepping forward and delivered a mule kick into the side of the Warp Drive Dragon’s face sending her sprawling sideways upon the mat.

Mai: I can’t remember the last time either one of these two ever tapped out in match, so there’s a very distinct possibility we’ll be here for hours before this thing is over.

Miko quickly tried to push upwards once more, getting as far as her knees before the Newfoundlander grabbed hold of her arm once more and contorted the limb into an armbar, keeping it locked in as she brought her knees upwards into the top of her spine. Three knee strikes landed before Miko fell forward, catching herself with her free hand only for Artemis to drive her the rest of the way to the canvas by delivering a curbstomp to her left shoulder. Kaiser followed that up with an elbow drop - also to the left shoulder. Artemis stayed on the mat, leaning all her weight across Miko’s back as she pulled her left arm backwards in an effort to pull it right of its socket. The referee dropped down in front of the No Surrender Champion, asking her if she wanted to quit but got a ‘No’ from the Japanese superstar as her face turned into a mask of determination as she tried to power out of the move by pushing upwards with her free hand. Artemis rolled to a sitting position, keeping control of the Champions arm as she did so and began to fire elbows into the side of Miko’s head.

Zack: Artemis has a deathgrip on the arm, and Miko’s head is becoming a pin cushion for Kaiser’s elbow.

Mai: So would that make her face an elbow cushion? That doesn’t sound enjoyable at all.

Kaiser landed five sharp blows into Miko’s head before she rolled to her feet, keeping control of Miko’s left arm as she pulled her upright and transitioned her hold into a hammerlock. She kept the Japanese wrestlers arm twisted up behind her as she circled around in front of her, hooking her head and delivered a hammerlock suplex. The God of Anger didn’t release the hammerlock, rolling her foe over onto her front and pulling her upwards once more and straight into a second hammerlock suplex. Again Kaiser kept the hammerlock applied, jerking Ayano to her feet once more and into a third hammerlock suplex. As they landed on the canvas this time around, the Newfoundlander extended the No Surrender Champion’s arm away from her body, pinning it to the mat by the wrist before she kicked into the air and brought her knees down into her opponent’s bicep and shoulder. The challenger repeated the move a second and third time before she rolled away.

Zack: Artemis has never had a championship match in FFW, so you can bet every penny that she’s going to be even more dangerous than ever.

Mai: Pffft. The easiest way to beat Artemis throw a pillowcase over her head and tie it off around her ankles. Hey, she could be a Scooby Doo villain!

The Last Empress came to her feet and dropped back to the ring ropes, bouncing off them and coming forward with a low big boot to the left shoulder of the defending Champion as she came to all fours. Immediately Miko held her shoulder, grimacing in pain as she rolled over onto her back and Artemis quickly began to rapidly stomp away at Miko’s chest and left shoulder before she reached down and grabbed hold of Ayano’s left arm once more. The Japanese wrestler tried to fight Kaiser off, interlocking her fingers as she tried to hold the arm to her body only for the God of Anger to drop a knee into her forehead, followed by a second. Finally he managed to jerk the No Surrender Champions arm away from her body, allowing her to lock in a cross armbreaker to her foe. Kevin Fisk immediately dropped down in front of Miko and asked her if she wanted to quit, getting a shake of her head as Artemis lifted her leg and brought it down across the Warp Drive Dragons jaw four times in quick succession before she jerked back on the arm, increasing the torque of the submission hold.

Zack: Miko’s had significant trouble getting out of the blocks in this match. Artemis doesn’t like her at all or many people, to be fair.

Mai: Not many people like Artemis. I heard she got lost in some shag carpet the other day.

Fisk asked Miko once more and again got a refusal. Artemis pulled back further with a cool look on her face and an obvious willingness to break the No Surrender Champions arm if required. Ayano let out a cry of pain but refused to quit as she kicked her feet on the canvas, the crowd starting to get behind as she tried to pull her arm free to no avail. Again Fisk asked the question, getting no answer from the Japanese wrestler as she instead began to roll her body into the hold; towards the challenger and onto her knees, letting out a little cry of pain as the hold was kept locked in tightly even as she rose to her feet and started to drive kicks into Kaisers body, slamming her boots into her side and kidneys, finally getting her arm released.

Zack: Miko’s finally gonna be able to get some relief on that arm, but she still has plenty of strikes to deliver in the meantime.

Mai: I heard that was her drinking arm. She used to do curls with Jell-O shots, I was told.

Miko reeled away from her foe, shaking out her arm to try and get the blood flowing before she grasped with her right arm and began to fire off stiff kicks to Kaiser’s legs, causing her to stumble. As Artemis tried to recover, Ayano fired off a roundhouse kick to her temple that saw her stagger backwards two steps. Kaiser quickly recovered and stepped back towards the Warp Drive Dragon who slammed a teep kick into her abdomen that caused Artemis to reel backwards before she dropped down onto her ass. Kaiser quickly rose back to her feet only to receive a leaping high knee to her chest, sending her off balance allowing Miko to start throwing forearm shivers with her right arm. The blows to her jaw knocked the woman from Mount Pearl back into the corner where Miko stepped forward and quickly brought a series of raised knees into her gut before taking hold of Kaiser’s wrist, Irish whipping her across the ring to the opposite corner.

Zack: Looks like Miko is picking up the pace a little bit here, and trying to take Artemis out of her comfort zone.

Mai: That’s the joshi in her, Zack. Plus given all the trash these two talk to one another, she probably enjoys hitting her anyway.

As Artemis hit the turnbuckle pads in the opposite corner, Ayano charged towards her, leaving her feet and delivered a running dropkick straight into her opponent’s face. Miko rolled quickly back to a vertical base, leaving her feet once more to deliver another dropkick to the face. Ayano kipped up to her feet once more and delivered a jumping side kick into the Last Empress’ jaw. Kaiser tried to step out of the corner only for Miko to whip her across the ring one more time, following in behind her and delivered a splash to her body. The Japanese wrestler took a couple of steps backwards, followed by the Canadian; Miko taking the challenger down to the canvas with the hip toss spinal tap kick. The Newfoundlander’s mouth opened wide as she froze up for a moment before she started to roll away, pushing up to her feet as the No Surrender Champion bounced off the ropes and delivered a running knee to the jaw, sending her falling back down to the canvas.

Mai: I think Artemis just lost some baby teeth off that shot, either that or she was sucking on a lot of Tic Tacs.

Artemis once more started to push up from the canvas, prompting the Warp Drive Dragon to springboard off the ropes and into a spinning wheel kick to the back of the head. Kaiser fell down to her hands and knees allowing Ayano to begin to fire off kicks into her rib cage. Kaiser began to push upwards to her feet as the kicks to the ribcage continued. As Artemis got her feet underneath her, the Warp Drive Dragon twisted her right arm into an arm wringer, twisting it around in it’s socket once more before she jerked her arm downwards into a double knee armbreaker. Artemis rolled away, holding her arm for a moment only for Miko to go after her, locking in the arm wringer once more and used it to jerk Kaiser upright and take off towards the ropes, leaping over the top to the outside to snap the limb the top rope. Kaiser reeled away and fell to her knees holding her right arm with a grimace of pain upon her face. Miko pulled herself back onto the apron, bouncing from the bottom rope to the top rope before springboarding off to drive a flying knee into the Newfoundlanders face.

Zack: If this weren’t submission rules, I think that Miko would have gone for a cover immediately after nailing that knee.

Mai: Bah! Miko’s just trying to get this match over with before Happy Hour ends.

Kaiser dropped to the mat once more and quickly rolled away, holding her face as she came back to a vertical position only for Miko to twist her arm once more into an armwringer that she combined with a wristlock. As she held her by the wrist, Ayano brought her foot up into her armpit and fell backwards to the mat with a modified bitch kick. Kaiser held her ribs with another grimace of pain rolling away from her opponent only for Miko Ayano to go after her, grabbing hold of her arm once more before she wrestled her down to the canvas once more, floating over to take her back as she locked in a fujiwara armbar, pulling back on her arm as she did so.

Zack: Shades of Sophia Pike here with that armbar submission! Miko knows how torturous that hold is, and she’s happy to let Artemis learn about it too.

Mai: She’s thinking ‘tap out, shortstack! There’s a bottle of Captain Morgan backstage with my name on it--u!’

Fisk dropped down in front of the challenger, asking the Canadian wrestler if she wished to submit. The God of Anger was defiant in her reply, pounding her mat with her fists in frustration as Miko pulled further back on her arm. Still Kaiser refused to submit to the hold, despite the look of pain deepening on her face as Miko continued to try and pull the arm from the socket, showing no inclination of mercy as she did so. Artemis planted her fist on the mat, shaking her head as Fisk asked her once more and began to force herself upwards, easing the pressure on her arm as she let out a roar and managed to shove the No Surrender Champion off of her. Ayano stumbled forward, springboarding off the middle rope and into a back elbow to Kaiser’s face as she got her feet underneath her. As Artemis stumbled backwards, Miko taking hold of her head, yanking her downwards into a single knee facebreaker, that caused Kaiser to pop backwards and land on the mat.

Mai: I’m pretty sure that if Kaiser had her face rearranged, no one would notice. At this rate, it’s gonna look like a Picasso painting.

Ayano nodded her head and moved towards the corner, stepping out onto the apron before she climbed to the top rope. The No Surrender champion perched on the top rope for a moment as she waited for her Kaiser to get her feet underneath her. As the NewFoundlander did so, Ayano launched herself from the top rope and into a meteora that connected perfectly, driving Kaiser back down into the canvas. The Warp Drive Dragon took up the mount position where she cradled her foes head with her left hand while forearm shivers with her right arm into her jaw. Ten blows landed before she reared back, delivering a final forearm shiver that bounced the back of her skull into the ring mat. Before the Last Empress could react, Miko grabbed hold of her arm and quickly applied an Anaconda Vice submission hold, putting all the pressure on her right arm.

Zack: There’s a hold we haven’t seen much of lately, and Miko has the anaconda vice as expertly applied as is humanly possible.

Mai: I hope she didn’t hear you. Talking about snakes is probably trigger her to think about the worm in a tequila bottle.

Kaiser refused to quit as Kevin Fisk asked her the question, grimacing in near agony as her arm was contorted and twisted in the submission; Miko doing everything possible to make the hold as painful as possible. Fisk asked the question once more and again received a shake of the head from the challenger who let out a grunt of pain before she started to bring her knee up, catching Miko to the back of the head, quickly following it up with second knee before Ayano rolled her body forward and out of range. Kaiser once more grunted with a mix of pain and frustration as she threw a third knee in vain only for her to use her free arm, swinging it wildly and connecting with clubbing blows to the back of the Japanese wrestler’s head.

Mai: I think I’m going to have to support Artemis after all. After weighing the options, I just can’t respect anyone who doesn’t want to drink to excess.

Zack: I’m sure she’ll stay up late for nights being disappointed that she didn’t get the approval of FFW’s answer to Otis Campbell.

Four shots from her arm connected before Miko released her grip and rolled away from her opponent only for the Last Empress to follow. Artemis rolled to her knees and immediately went on the attack, locking in a shoulder claw with both hands on Miko’s left shoulder. A look of pain immediately shot across the No Surrender Champions face but despite that she still started to push up to her feet, causing Artemis to break the hold in favour of a rear waistlock that saw her deliver a modified German suplex - twisting her body slightly mid delivery to ensure Miko landed entirely on her left arm. Miko rolled away holding her arm as she started to rise to her feet, Kaiser quickly locked in another hammerlock on Miko’s left arm and used the hold to exert control as she rushed the Japanese wrestler towards the corner, driving her left shoulder first into the top turnbuckle pad. She yanked her back away from the corner only to slam her shoulder first into the turnbuckles once more, following it up with side Russian leg sweep.

Zack: Artemis is staying singularly focused on that left arm and shoulder. She’s like a dog with a chew toy, and refuses to let go if she doesn’t have to.

Mai: Did you just call Artemis a dog? I’m gonna tell her you said that.

Zack: It’s called a metaphor.

Mai: A meta for who?

The No Surrender Champion rolled away, holding her arm before she started to push herself upwards near the ring ropes while Kaiser sprinted across the ring and delivered the Falcon Kick running single leg dropkick. Miko fell into the ropes from the dropkick, leaning into them as she took a few moments to try and gain her bearings. The Last Empress took full advantage as she swooped down on Miko, wrapping her left arm around the middle rope and pulling on it, using the rope for additional leverage while she fired off kicks into her opponent’s shoulder blade. Eight kicks landed in quick succession before Artemis released her hold and pulled her opponent away from the ropes to her feet and scooped her upwards into a shoulder breaker, dropping her to the mat. Quickly the God of Anger pulled her opponent up into a sitting position and locked in an over the top wristlock.

Mai: Right back to work on her arm. I’ll tell you, that Artemis is like a dog with a bone!

Zack: There you go, copy my commentary.

Fisk dropped down to his knees and asked Miko if she wanted to quit but got a very definite no from the Japanese wrestler. A stoic look was on Artemis face as she heard the refusal, causing her to adjust her grip on her foe to take hold of her fingers as she kept the wristlock applied and jerked her fingers in opposite direction in an attempt to dislocate them that caused Miko to scream out in pain. Fisk asked her the question once more and got another refusal as Kaiser took hold of the other fingers on Ayano’s left hand and proceeded to use a fingersnap on those too. Miko let out another cry of pain as Fisk asked her the question again as Ayano’s hand hovered over the mat and she took a moment before she finally replied to the official, refusing to quit. With a shake of her head, Kaiser shoved her away and Miko cradled her arm and hand against her body.

Mai: I’m starting to think that Artemis is just going to have to take that arm off her, and that might get her to stop the match.

Zack: That’d probably what it takes under normal circumstances, but neither of these two women are average athletes. They are among the best in the world.

Artemis stood up and retreated across the ring, waving her opponent upwards. Slowly Ayano started to push herself back to her feet, turning towards Kaiser just as she darted towards her, leaping high into the air to slam a Falcon Punch into the side of the jaw. Miko staggered backwards on spaghetti legs, falling only to catch the ropes which appeared to be all that kept her upright. Kaiser moved quickly towards Miko, grabbing her arm once more and sent her in for the ride. As the No Surrender Champion returned, Kaiser popped her up into the air and delivered a devastating kick to her chest. Ayano landed on her knees, holding her chest with a look of agony on her face as Artemis dropped back to the ropes, bouncing off them and delivered a running big boot to the face. Miko fell backwards to the canvas; the Last Empress dropping down across her body and quickly locked in a figure four arm lock on her left arm, applying the maximum pressure that she could to the joint.

Zack: I can appreciate Artemis’ tenacity here. She came into tonight with a gameplan, and despite Miko’s best efforts so far, she’s gone right back to it again and again.

Fisk dropped down once more to ask the No Surrender Champion if she wished to quit, getting a agonised shake of the head and a strangled ‘No’ from Ayano. Artemis upped the pressure that she was exerting on the arm she’d spent all match targeting; Miko kicking her feet against the mat and whimpering in agony as she did so, her hand hovering over the mat looking as though she was about to quit. The official asked her the question once more, getting ignored as Miko was in agony looking right on the verge of tapping out.

Zack: I can’t read minds, but I think Miko’s considering stopping this match! Her body language seems to indicate it’s on her mind!

Mai: If she hurries and quits, she can hit the bar like I know she wants to.

But it never came as Ayano instead began to rapidly drive the point of her elbow into Artemis side in sheer desperation, finally managing to secure the release. Miko rolls away, holding her left arm against her body, Kaiser glaring daggers at her foe and began to advance on her, firing off stiff kick after stiff kick into her body and spine as Miko slowly pushed up to her feet. Ayano turned to face the Last Empress as the kicks continued to pepper her body. Miko forced a smile across her face as she came face to face with Artemis despite the impact of the kicks. Artemis sneered at her in response and put even more force behind her kicks only for Miko to catch her flying leg. The Japanese wrestlers grin got even bigger for just a moment before she left her feet and delivered a low dropkick to the knee of Artemis standing leg that took the leg out from under her and caused her to faceplant into the canvas.

Mai: The great thing about Artemis landing on her face is that she can’t possibly get any more unattractive.

Kaiser rose back to her feet as the Warp Drive Dragon forced herself to match her opponent’s rise, grabbing hold of her arm before Artemis could do anything and took her down to the mat with an Japanese armdrag. The challenger sat up, trying to get to her feet once more only for Miko to take her down to the canvas once more with a running bulldog. Again the God of Anger looked to rise up to her feet and was again met by Miko Ayano who sent her down to the canvas once more - this time with an arm wrench judo hip toss targeting her right arm. Kaiser hit the mat and immediately began to sit up which saw her receive a lunar cry kick to the back that froze her in place for a moment. Miko took off towards the ropes, bouncing off them in front of Artemis and returned to deliver a dropkick to her face, knocking her back to the canvas.

Zack: Miko’s trying to pick this pace up again, and she’s caught Artemis flush with some of these shots she’s been delivering.

Mai: You can call those basement dropkicks, because anywhere you dropkick Artemis isn’t exactly high off the ground, you know?

Kaiser rolled over onto her front as Miko kipped up to her feet and began to stomp away at her right arm and shoulder blade that caused Kaiser to roll away once more. Ayano followed her opponent, driving three kicks into her ribcage as Artemis looked to get her feet underneath her only for the Warp Drive Dragon to move around behind her and jerk her downwards into a backstabber. The Canadian wrestler popped up to her feet and gingerly stepped forward before she turned to face the defending Champion who darted towards her, left her feet and spun around her body to lock in an octopus hold on Artemis right in the middle of the ring. The challenger refused to quit as she was asked the question, despite Miko jerking violently backwards on her right arm. Artemis shook her head in agony as the referee asked her once more, trying to free her arms before she finally launched herself backwards, driving her foe down into the canvas as she did so, causing Ayano to break the submission.

Zack: Any relief is more than welcome right now, if you’re the challenger! This is as much a test of wills as it is wrestling skill between these two.

Miko rolled away to the ring ropes, using them to pull herself upwards as her opponent crawled to the opposite side of the ring, holding her right arm tight to her body before she too used the ropes to get back to her feet. The pair glared at each other across the ring before the No Surrender Champion waved her forward. As Artemis began to move towards her opponent picking up speed as she did so only for Ayano to surprise her as she suddenly launched herself away from the ring ropes and drove a bicycle kick into the Canadian’s face sending her down to the mat.

Mai: I wonder if Miko is a fan of Valentina secretly, because that was where she got that bicycle kick from, Zack.

Zack: Yeah, because no one else ever used a bicycle kick before Valentina Lozano….

Immediately the challenger sat up and scrambled to her feet only to get a second bicycle kick to the jaw - though this time she was able to get her hands up to take some of the heat out of the shot. Despite that, the God of Anger stumbled backwards into the ropes only for Miko to grip her wrist and send her in for the ride, catching her on the return with the wormhole kick. Artemis hit the canvas and rolled over, trying to push up to all fours only for Ayano to dive onto her back and lock in a crippler crossface submission, pulling back on her foe’s head as she trapped her right arm between her legs. A look of agony appeared upon the face of the Last Empress as Miko torqued back on her head and neck. Fisk dropped down to ask the question and got a pained agonised ‘No’. from the Canadian wrestler.

Mai: Either the referee asked her if she wanted to quit or if she could see over the steering wheel without sitting on a phonebook.

Zack: You do know that many of the talent listen to the commentary after the match, right?

Miko leaned backwards in the hold, pulling further on Artemis head to increase the pain. Fisk asked the question once more, getting another definite ‘No’ from the woman. Once more the Japanese wrestler looked to make the hold more effective, pulling back further on her opponent’s head, causing her to cry out in pain, hand hovering over the mat as though she can tap out at any moment… yet, still refused when offered the chance by the referee. Kaiser let out another cry of pain as Miko refused to yield, as Artemis scratched and scraped at her hands in an effort to pry them away from her chin before threatening to tap out once more, catching herself at the last moment and refusing once more as Kevin Fisk asked her the question.

Zack: Artemis was close right there, but something stopped her. It has to be pride and the desire to be the new No Surrender Champion!

Still defiant, Kaiser planted her fist on the mat once more and used all the strength that she could muster to push herself upwards onto all fours. As she managed to alleviate the pressure, Miko rolled away from her, came to her feet and darted towards the ropes, bouncing off them and came back with a clothesline attempt as Artemis got to a vertical base. Kaiser ducked underneath the clothesline, Miko continuing towards the ropes and springboarding off them into a moonsault. As Ayano was midflip, Kaiser countered the high flying move with a messy looking superkick into her chest.

Zack: What a shot! I’m not sure how much of that hit, but it was damn sure enough to bring Miko down like a ton of bricks.

Mai: Now here you are trying to fat shame the girl! And people say I’m cruel on commentary!

Miko held her chest as she landed on the canvas and tried to push upwards only for Artemis to catch her with a running knee to her jaw. Miko staggered upright only to receive a front kick to her stomach before Kaiser spun and caught her to the side of the head with a spinning backfist that she followed up with a discus elbow strike to the jaw. Ayano stumbled as she sought to find her balance and stay on her feet only for the Last Empress to take her down to the mat with a low dropkick to the knee. As soon as the No Surrender Champion hit the mat, Artemis floated over and locked in the AK-93; an armlock crossface with a straitjacket hold applied to the free arm that put all of the pressure on Miko’s left arm and neck. Fisk dropped down to ask Ayano if she wanted to quit as she let out a scream of pure pain but refused. Kaiser tightened up her grip, pulling further back in the hold, getting another louder scream from Miko as she tried desperately to find an escape, ignoring Fisk’s interrogation. The God of Anger only pulled back further on her arm and head and as Miko realised there was no escape she finally submitted to the hold. Kevin Fisk called for the bell, Artemis keeping the hold tightly applied for a couple of seconds after it finished ringing before she let the Warp Drive Dragon go.

Zack: AK-93….and Miko finally had no choice! Kaiser has made history!

Maggie: Here is your winner… and NEW FFW No Surrender Champion!!!.... ARTEMIS KAISER!!!!!

Mai: Oh Lord, she’s going to be really feeling her oats in the coming days now, isn’t she?

Zack: It was everything I thought it’d be and a lot more! Artemis Kaiser now sits atop the No Surrender division with the titanium title! And I want to be there for the rematch!

Kevin Fisk retrieved the title belt and presented to the Artemis who took the title belt from him as he raised her left arm and the title in the air while she cradled her right against her body. As she began her title celebration, Miko Ayano rolled onto the apron, holding her left arm against her body, pain still etched upon her face. As Artemis climbed the turnbuckles, raising the title in the air, the show cut elsewhere.

Lust In Your Heart

After a short commercial for the Velocity charity show on the 11th, the show cuts back to the arena with a buzzing crowd before “99 Problems” by Jay-Z begins to play over the PA system. The boos begin immediately as Kyle emerges onto the stage in a suit.

If you havin’ girl problems, I feel bad for you son
I got 99 problems but a bitch ain’t one

The song continues to play as Kyle waves towards one of the production assistants, then snaps his fingers towards her before she hands a microphone up to him on the stage. He makes a cutting motion with his hand, causing the Jay-Z song to start fading out.

Kyle: It is rare in a lifetime where you get to be part of something bigger than you. It’s rare when you can say you know where you were when a historic moment happened. Some remember where they were when man first walked on the Moon. Others remember where they were when JFK was assassinated. Tonight is going to be one of those nights for each of you here in this arena….and everyone watching at home.

The boos only increased in volume before Kyle largely ignored them and continued.

Kyle: If you need a moment to go get your calendars or open your blog or whatever it is that you do to commemorate events of significance, go do that now. Because in just a matter of seconds, I will be introducing you to the next major...no...the next SUPER star to ever come to FFW. You’re about to be exposed to one of the best kept secrets in Future Shock. But before I bring her out, I need to ask all the husbands and boyfriends in the audience to do me favor. I want you to look at your wife...your girlfriend...and tell them now how sorry you are. But I want you to be clear. I don’t want you to apologize because you’re in a ‘go nowhere’ job. I don’t want you to apologize because you know you settled for the woman next to you. I don’t even want you to apologize for knowing that no matter what you do, you’ll never be able to afford to buy her anything you can’t get without making payments.

The anger grew louder still.

Kyle: What I want you to apologize for is the fact that when you see the newest addition to the FFW roster, you would drop the saggy and disgusting sack of flesh next to you in a heartbeat just to have a single moment of this woman’s time. A woman who puts your wife or girlfriend to shame so badly that you’re ashamed to be seen with her tonight. Go ahead and do that now, save yourself some time later. Now for those of you in the audience who are single, well….look at yourself. It’s not hard to see why. But I want you to know it’s perfectly natural to fall in love at first sight. It’s alright to lust for someone from afar. And whatever you do later tonight with the pictures that are no doubt going to be taken in just a second, well that’s your business. You can keep them forever, and show them to whatever cellulite monster you end up dying beside while she’s eating her fourth bag of Cheetos….

Zack: GET ON WITH IT!

Mai: Hang on, Zack. I’m taking some pictures.

Kyle: Tonight, I want all the women to keep it down and try to hide their insecurities and abject jealousy. I want all the men in the crowd to pause that game of pocket pool you’re playing. And I want all of you to appreciate the only woman to have ever held both the Aspire Ring and Future Shock Tag Team Championship. Ladies and gentlemen, the newest addition from the Gold Standard to join the main roster here of FFW………… LACEY!

Red petals began to fall around the arena onto the crowd. The stage behind Kyle seemed to open up as a red light shone down on it, and coming up from underneath was a woman stretched out across a long sofa with her head propped up on one hand, while the other blew red dust into the approaching camera lens. Kyle offered her his hand before she took it, and swung both legs around to the stage and got to her feet. The sofa then descended back into the stage with the floor closing over it. And there stood Lacey, in a form fitting black dress.

Lacey: Thank you for that amazing, and let's face it extremely truthful introduction, Kyle. I don’t think I could have said it any better myself. It has been a wish of mine for some time now to be on the main roster where I belong, and where my talents can be fully seen and appreciated… but as is normally the case, the best things are worth waiting for. And I am one of the best things to ever come out of Future Shock.

She pauses as the crowd boo that, but she looks out over them as if they are cheering her.

Lacey: Yes, I know you all agree. It would be extremely stupid of you not to. My talents speak for themselves. From the way I overcame the odds to claim the Aspire Ring. Right up to myself and the delectable Valerie McKinley, accomplishing what our detractors thought we couldn’t, when we took the Future Shock Tag Championships away from the, quite frankly humdrum pair, that had been holding them. We did what nobody else could do. And know the FFW universe is being rewarded by getting to witness my ascent up the FFW ladder all the way from the beginning.

Kyle: The road to the top is upon us. And as you can see….

He waves his hand down Lacey’s body.

Kyle: There are some dangerous curves ahead.

The two share a smile amid thunderous boos before we fade to a commercial for the upcoming Global Wars Pay Per View.

Maggie: The following contest is scheduled for one fall to a finish.

The crowd gets plunged into darkness. The silence gets broken by Maggie as she starts to make the introduction.

Maggie: Hailing from Sherbrooke in the province of Quebec, Canada. She weighs in at 142lbs and stands 5’8” tall. This is the… “ONE WOMAN SHOW” SHAUGHNESSY O’NEILL!!!

Alice Cooper’s Poison begins to play as the video wall shows close ups of different parts of Shaw’s face before finally cutting to a live feed of the young woman as the spotlight hits her in the middle of the stage. Starting to nod her head along to the beat of the music, the young woman heads down to the ring, the spotlight following her all the way to the ring as she tries to rally the crowd behind her. Rolling under the bottom rope Shaw kips up to her feet and stands in a corner, checking everything about her ring gear is in position as she waits to start the match.

Zack: Shaw is cashing in her Pick Your Poison contract tonight, after an offer from Samantha Star that she just couldn’t refuse. If she manages to beat Kaoru tonight, she guarantees herself a shot at the FFW Championship.

Mai: It was a very generous offer by Samantha. And I think you meant to say WHEN Shaw beats Kaoru tonight, not if!

Zack: No. I meant if.

The arena cuts to darkness, except for the video screen, which flickers up to static for a moment, before it turns to the image of a blank-screened Pip-Boy 3000, and we hear the voice of our star.

"Let's go."

The opening riff of the "Fallout 4 Theme", redone by Defaced starts. Timed with the 3 bass notes, 3 hot yellow lights shine down on center stage, forming a 'radioactive' symbol. Standing in the center of the light, is Kaoru Asaka, in her ring gear and a long pine green ring jacket, crouched and facing the entrance, watching her first name also come on screen, and standing up as the next line plays. When it gets to the next set of 3 bass notes, the lights turn off one by one, and her last name comes onto screen a syllable at a time. Then as the main melody and drums kick back up, Kaoru turns around, throwing her fist into the sky, the lights behind her one the stage all beaming bright yellow. She yells out to the crowd, and starts to head for the ring... even stopping to air-guitar along to the song with a group of fans along the way...

Maggie: Coming to the ring..... Hailing from New Vegas, Nevada and weighing in at 65 kilotons of power, she is the Nuclear Explosion of the Burning Star Express....

Asaka runs and hops up onto the apron, hard cam side, climbing up the turnbuckles and raises her arms high above her head, trying to hype up the crowd at ringside.

Maggie: Atomic! Kaoru! Aaaaaaasaka!

Kaoru pumps her fist again to the crowd before she hops down into the ring, handing her ring jacket to a ring attendant before running the ropes a few times.

Zack: Kaoru is one of Shaw’s biggest detractors and it’s safe to say she will be more determined than ever to keep Shaw out of the FFW Championship line.

Mai: Shaw is a veritable ray of sunshine, I don’t know why Kaoru dislikes her and wants to try and hold her back.

As Maggie makes her way out of the ring, referee Jennifer Stringer completes a check of both women for anything they shouldn’t have. Finding nothing, she wastes no time in calling for the bell to get the match underway. Both women head straight towards the centre of the ring, with Kaoru reaching it a split second before the Quebec native. Shaw speeds up as she closes the gap, and Kaoru only narrowly avoids a running forearm from the Canadian. Shaw stops her momentum and spins on a dime just as Kaoru does the same also, and the two end up in a collar and elbow tie up. After a bit of a tussle back and forth, Kaoru starts to get the better of the exchange. She pushes the Quebec native back several steps before she breaks the tie and clocks her with stiff forearm across the jaw. Shaw reels back from the impact, but comes back quickly with a headbutt that catches Kaoru off guard.  Another headbutt follows quickly from the Quebecois which keeps Kaoru disorientated.

Zack: Both women have come hot out of the gate, but Shaw has taken the advantage so far with a matching pair of headbutts that have knocked Kaoru off balance.

Mai: Maybe it will make Kaoru look less stupid, but I won’t hold my breath. Shaw is good but she isn’t a miracle worker.

Before Kaoru can gather herself, Shaw connects a third headbutt which knocks her back a couple of steps. O’Neill grabs Kaoru by the wrist and pulls her into a forearm to the jaw, before she fires her across to the nearest ropes. Asaka rebounds off them and Shaw uses a drop toe hold to send her to the canvas. Straight away the Quebecois takes off to the ropes, using them for a springboard she delivers a knee drop to the downed former FFW champion. Shaw gets back to her feet and looks to the crowd, who only hurl disdain in her direction. She steps between Kaoru’s legs, grabbing both of them she twists them into a knot around her own leg. Holding them in place she steps over Kaoru, turning her over and getting a grunt of pain from Asaka in the process.

Mai: Look at the form that Shaw has with that hold. It’s perfection, poetry in motion, a masterpiece!

Zack: It’s a sharpshooter, not the Sistine Chapel! Kaoru will be feeling the pressure of that hold on her legs and knees but I can’t imagine that she will be in any way ready to give in.

Stringer drops down in front of Kaoru to ask if she wants to stop the match, and she receives a very definite no, much to the delight of the Illinois crowd. She digs her hands in the canvas and starts trying to drag herself towards the ropes. She manages to move herself, and Shaw with her a few inches, but Shaw increases the pressure stopping her in her tracks with a pained expression. The referee asks again if Kaoru wants to give in. It takes her a moment to answer this time, but she grits her teeth and shakes her head to say no. Digging her hands into the canvas again, Kaoru starts to drag herself forwards again. As Shaw tries to readjust her position to pull her back, the crowd get behind Kaoru loudly, and she lunges towards the ropes, managing to grab onto the bottom one with her hand. Stringer calls for a break, but Shaw only releases when the referee reaches a count of three.

Zack: That was pure determination from Kaoru that got her to the ropes for that break. Well, that and the support that she is receiving from this crowd.

Mai: This crowd is obviously full of idiots. They should be supporting Shaw. It’s always better to back a winner!

Kaoru pulls herself up using the ropes to steady herself, but before she can get fully up under her own steam, Shaw pulls her the rest of the way. The Quebecois pulls her into an elbow to the side of her head and then fires her into the nearest corner. Asaka hits back first and Shaw follows her in with a running knee to her ribs which bends her forwards slightly. With the former FFW champion bent forward, Shaw starts to hammer forearms across her back and neck, until Stringer calls for her to let Kaoru out of the corner. Shaw carries on until a count of three again, and then uses a knee to Kaoru’s jaw to stand her upright. She lets the former FFW champion stumble out of the corner, before she fires her across into the ropes. Asaka rebounds and Shaw catches her for a stalling vertical suplex to send her to the canvas with a thud. The Quebecois hooks the leg for a cover as Stringer slides into place.

Zack: It looked like Shaw was trying to put Kaoru straight through the canvas with that impact, and she’s going for the pin.

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-NOPE!!!

Kaoru gets her shoulder up before the two hits the mat and shoves Shaw off her. Shaw rolls back to her knees and then on up to her feet, as Kaoru rolls towards the ropes out of her reach.

Mai: Kaoru just doesn’t know when to give up, she should have just stayed down and stopped delaying the inevitable.

Zack: She is never going to just stay down, and you know that.

Using the ropes again to steady herself, Kaoru gets back to her feet as Shaw closes the gap between them. As Shaw goes to grab the former FFW champion by the head, Kaoru ducks down and comes back up with a surprise uppercut that rocks the Quebecois back on her heels. Kaoru reaches out and quickly gets Shaw into a Muay Thai Clinch position, much to the delight of the live crowd. She starts to deliver knee shots into the Quebecois ribs with the Illinois crowd counting along with each one. Increasing her speed she lands ten of the shots, before she releases the clinch and fires an elbow shot into Shaw’s face. Another follows before she fires the brunette into the ropes. She rebounds off at speed and Kaoru catches her with a lariat to send her to the canvas.

Zack: Kaoru just turned Shaw inside out with that! And she is taking full advantage of the opening that she made for herself.

Mai: Shaw is just letting her think that she’s in control to make her feel less like a loser. That’s just how generous Shaw is.

Shaw gets back to her feet pretty quickly, ignoring the chants from the crowd for her to stay down, and shakes herself off. Before she can fully get her wits about her, Kaoru catches her with a shoulderblock to knock her into the nearest corner. Kaoru follows her in and delivers a chop to her chest that gets her a favourable response from the crowd. Another follows, and another, and another. The former FFW champion lights Shaw up with chop after chop, with the crowd again counting along with her. She reaches ten, before she pulls Shaw out of the corner and fires her into the opposite one. Kaoru follows her in and repeats the process again, reaching another count of ten chops before she again pulls the Quebecois out of the corner. This time she pulls her into headbutt which sends Shaw reeling backwards.

Zack: Shaw’s chest is looking like a stoplight after all of those chops, and after that heabutt she will very likely be seeing stars about now!

Mai: She just needs to look into the mirror to a star!

Before Shaw can gather her bearings, Kaoru grabs her arm and twists around behind her to get it into a hammerlock. She runs the Quebecois face first into the corner and then uses her free arm to drive her elbow into Shaw’s spine. Stringer calls for Kaoru to let Shaw out of the corner, and the former FFW champion obliges by the time the referee reaches a count of two. Pulling her back out by the hammerlock she spins her around and pulls her head down to drive her knee into her face, before turning around and reaching back to get Shaw into a three-quarter headlock. A corkscrew neckbreaker follows before Kaoru gets into position for the cover, hooking a leg as Stringer drops down into place.

Zack: Kaoru is looking to end this match now and keep Shaw away from a successful cash in of her Pick Your Poison contract!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THR-NOOOOOOOOOOOPE!!!

Shaw kicks out before the three is complete and Kaoru nods to acknowledge the two count, before getting back to her feet.

Mai: She can look all she wants, but all she is going to see is Shaw getting her hand raised at the end of this match!

Kaoru doesn’t give Shaw a chance to try and get up by herself, instead pulling her up to her feet and immediately delivering two elbow shots to the side of her head. The crowd support her fully and loudly as she takes off towards the ropes. Bouncing off them to build up momentum she comes back at Shaw with her running dropkick straight to the Quebecois face that drops her like a rock, getting her another massive pop from the Illinois crowd. The former FFW champion tells Shaw to get, which is already trying to do. The Canadian wrestler makes it as far as her knees, before Kaoru uses her fingers to make a frame and measures, then delivers her reverse roundhouse kick to Shaw’s head flattening her to the canvas. With the crowd on their feet, Kaoru drops for the cover as Stringer gets herself back into position for the count.

Zack: RADAWAY into VATS BLASTER! Kaoru has this in the bag! She is a three count away from keeping Shaw away from the FFW Championship shot!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NO!!!

The referee stops the count before completing the three, and when Kaoru looks at her with confusion she points out Shaw’s foot across the bottom rope. Asaka slaps the mat in frustration before storming to her feet and going to knock Shaw’s foot of the rope.

Mai: Do you ever get bored of being wrong, Zack? Shaw’s legendary ring awareness kept her in this match!

As Kaoru reaches down to knock Shaw’s foot off the rope, the Quebecois raises her foot quickly catching the former FFW champion in the face. Asaka reels back slightly and Shaw uses her other foot to kick her in the face again, before grabbing her around the waist and pulling her down into a rollup.

Mai: Look at that quick thinking from Shaw! She is going to end this match right now!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

NOPE!!!

Kaoru kicks out just after the two and Shaw gets back to her feet under a heavy amount of disdain from the live crowd. She ignores it as she shakes herself off and gathers her bearings, before pulling Kaoru back up to her feet.

Zack: I don’t think a rollup was ever going to end this match with so much on the line, but it has slowed down Kaoru’s momentum enough to give Shaw a chance to recover.

Shaw pulls Kaoru forwards and rains forearm shots across the back of her head and neck to knock her down to her knees. She takes off towards the ropes and bounces off them to come back with a running knee to Asaka’s head. The former FFW champion drops like a rock, but Shaw doesn’t let her stay there for long as she pulls her back up and whips her across into the corner. Kaoru hits back first and Shaw follows her in. Leaving her feet for a Thesz press, she immediately starts to rain blows down into Kaoru’s head as she is pinned back against the turnbuckles. Stringer calls for Shaw to let her out, but the Quebecois leaves it until a count of four before obliging.

Zack: Kaoru had no way of avoiding those punches then, and she might actually be seeing double after that!

Mai: She should consider herself lucky if she is. One Shaw is a sight to behold, seeing two of her would be even better!

Shaw pulls Kaoru out of the corner and into a kick to her gut to bend her forwards, before using a swinging neckbreaker to send her to the canvas. She gets back to her feet and gives a little bow to the crowd, who show her nothing but animosity. She shrugs it off as Kaoru is starting to rise, and Shaw helps her the rest of the way before getting her into position to deliver her Canadian destroyer. Asaka lands heavily and Shaw rolls her onto her back before hooking both legs for the cover, as Stringer drops down into position for the count.

Mai: O’NEILL’S OBLIVION! This is it!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Stringer gets to her feet and calls for the bell as Shaw rolls off the cover and back to her feet looking rather pleased with herself.

Maggie: Here's your winner of the match by pinfall....SHAUGHNESSY O'NEILL!!

Zack: Shaw has just picked herself up not only the win but a ticket to another chance at the FFW Championship!

Mai: I never doubted for a second that she would. You should have more faith in the most athletic Quebecois known to man!

Shaw has her hand raised by Stringer to a massive amount of boos from the Illinois crowd. When her hand is lowered, Shaw rolls out of the ring and starts to make her way to the back, completely ignoring the disdain from the fans. On that image the show cuts elsewhere.

As the show came back from commercial, a highlight video played showing how we had got to this point - from the formation of the Franchise at Global Wars to the beating Savannah took at the hands of Jo McFarlane and the Brazilian Storm at Relentless, followed by images from their match at Unstoppable 9. The video ended with the graphic for this match before it cut back inside the arena. The Steel Cage that had been hanging above the ring was slowly being lowered into place with Maggie already standing ready with a microphone.

Zack: You’ll be hard-pressed to find a match with more bad blood between two women than this one right here! There you see the cage being secured as the final battleground between Jo McFarlane and Savannah Taylor!

Mai: I think Savannah and Seth have outsmarted themselves putting this match inside a cage, but I’ll explain why later.

Maggie: The following match is scheduled for one fall to a finish and is a steel cage match!!!

As Maggie continued with the ring introductions, the ring technicians swarmed around the ring, making sure the cage was properly and securely in position.

There was silence; the lights began to fade away slowly. A soft instrumental echoes out across the audience. It starts slowly, a beautiful sound that contrasts the heaviness of the world. Like feathers, it glides among the waiting audience. The lighting fixtures produce a gentle spotlight upon the stage, offset by the occasional flash here and there. As 'Just Close Your Eyes' by Waterproof Blonde continues to play, a woman’s words begin to come through. Her voice is tender, not raising upon a whisper.

"Deceived by my eyes and all I was told I should see
Opinions not mine, the person they taught me to be
One night in the dark, a vision of someone I knew
And in the darkness I saw, a voice say, I'm you."

On the stage, a feminine figure appears. Her head lowered to everything. People cannot make out who it is. As she stands there, the flashes briefly illuminate her figure. It only gives small clues on who stands at the gate. She stands in the spotlight, her shadow cast large and proudly among the stage.

"Inside me a light was turned on…"

The instrumental picks up again. An electric guitar now joins the progressively exciting instrumentals of before. The singer’s voice suddenly intensifies.

"Then I was alive!"

In the light, it is revealed that it was Savannah Taylor. She stands at the gate, a robe of obsidian and ivory hues. The hood of it shadows her eyes, but the intensity of the final EXODUS World Champion remains clear as day. She starts off down the ramp, with a serious aura radiating from her body.

Maggie: Ladies and gentlemen, making her way down to the ring....weighing in at one hundred twenty pounds.....from Las Vegas, Nevada.....Savannah Taylor !!!

"If you close your eyes your life,
A naked truth revealed
Dreams you never lived,
And scars never healed"

Savannah makes her way up the ring steps. She looks out towards the audience for a moment before entering the ring. From there, she heads for a turnbuckle. She stands there, taking in everything. She then lifts her up on top of it. She peers out in nothing, then takes off the hood with a flashy flourish. Her blonde locks fly up in the air. They descend, shaping her face as they famously do.

"In the darkness, light will take you to the other side
You'll find me waiting there you'll see, if you just close your eyes."

While she stands in her corner, she closes her eyes and takes a heavy breath. When her bright eyes open, Taylor is completely composed. There is nothing more than the heat of battle awaiting her. She takes off her robe, giving it to a stagehand. She stretches her wrists before devoting her mind to the war upon the horizon.

Mai: Savannah’s not gonna have any excuses when she fails tonight, which is why she outsmarted herself! At Unstoppable, she could have blamed anyone had she lost. But here, she’s left to her own failures and inadequacies to be exposed.

Zack: But she didn’t lose at Unstoppable 9. She won that match despite having to deal with Jo’s father among other things. So your point is invalid.

The arena darkens, bringing with it a large quantity of dry ice. In the ring, the green, white and orange lights pulse until they form the Irish Tricolour in the centre of the ring. It’s this sight that brings about jeering from the audience. As the lights settle, a drumbeat hits the speakers, soon to be followed by a well-known riff that doesn’t quite sound as people would know it to be. It is then that a woman steps out on the stage; Jo McFarlane. Not that you can tell right away - her face is obscured by a white bandana covering her mouth and nose, and she wears a green beanie on her head, which appears to be entirely covering her hair. She is also dressed in camouflage; traditional green colours, a long-sleeved jacket and trousers. Through the fog as the crowd begins to jeer, standing by her side, is her father.

If you’re havin’ trouble with the high school head,
He’s givin’ you the blues.
You wanna graduate, but not in his bed,
Here’s what you’re gonna do!
Pick up the phone, I’m always home
Call me anytime.
3624-360, I lead a life of crime.

Maggie: And her opponent, from Derry, Northern Ireland, weighing one hundred and twenty seven pounds, she is “THE REBEL CHILD” JOOOOOOOO MCFARLAAAAAAAAANE!

During the verse and Maggie’s introduction, Jo first taps the stick on the floor, then starts off down the ramp, towards the ring. Tommy remains a step behind her the whole time...though it’s difficult given the massive height difference. She moves quite quickly, and stops at the bottom. Moving towards a corner at ringside, she drops the kendo stick in her hand against the barricade, making sure the referee sees that she did, giving him a pointed stare.

Dirty deeds, done dirt cheap!
Dirty deeds, done dirt cheap!
Dirty deeds, done dirt cheap!
Dirty deeds, and they’re done dirt cheap.
Dirty deeds, and they’re done dirt cheap.

As the chorus plays and the solo starts up, Jo ascends the stairs, removing the jacket she wears, revealing a similarly coloured top. The beanie soon follows and she steps through the ropes. She then heads towards her corner, where she stands on the middle turnbuckle, looking around her before jumping down. Her father stood on the ring steps in the doorway to the cage, the two exchanging words as the music fades out.

Zack: Neither Jo no Savannah have a wealth of experience inside steel cages, but that’s about to change here very shortly.

Mai: Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide. A cage match is the ultimate decider in this sport dating back to centuries ago. They are barbaric….and that’s hot!

Immediately Savannah charged towards Jo, catching her with a flying forearm that sent Jo back into the corner and Taylor wasted no time at all in unloading with two European uppercuts in quick succession before she noticed Tommy still stood on the ring steps as he kicked away the referee who was trying to get him down so the door could be closed. Taylor swung a fist towards the man, only to see it blocked as he retorted with a thumb jabbed into her eye. Savannah reeled backwards to the middle of the ring, hand over her eye and McFarlane charged forward to take her down with a running clothesline.

Zack: Someone get him out of the damn ring, and lock that door! He’s as helpful as a hemorrhoid!

Mai: I’ll have to take your word for that. Can’t say I ever had one.

Savannah pushed quickly upwards only for the former FFW Champion to catch her with a stiff kick to her face, followed by two more to the body before she took her down to the canvas once more with a side Russian leg sweep. McFarlane instantly rolling over into the mount position and beginning to hammer away at her nemesis with stern right and left hands as Tommy dropped off the ring steps and the referee on the outside was able to close and fasten the door shut as the bell sounded. Taylor covered up, taking the shots on her forearms before she managed to roll McFarlane off of her. The Scotswoman quickly came to her feet and charged towards the ropes, building momentum as she bounced off them and came back to deliver a dropkick to Taylor’s chest that knocked her down to the mat the moment that she’d gotten her feet underneath her.

Zack: Jo’s strategy may well be to do as much damage as quickly as possible, so she can put this behind her once and for all. But I guarantee you that’s not Savannah’s plan.

Mai: No, her plan is to be a Gomer and keep poking the bear that is the Franchise. So she’ll get what she has coming to her as a result.

Jo kipped up to her feet after connecting with the drop kick and immediately stepped forward to deliver soccer style kicks into rib cage as the blonde made it to all fours. Three kicks connected before McFarlane helped the one time No Surrender Champion back to her feet with a handful of hair and marched her towards the walls of the cage, picking up speed as she approached before she hurled the Las Vegas native face first into the steel. Taylor staggered backwards and as she did so, Jo grabbed hold of the back of her head and yet again sent her face first into the cage wall. This time as Savannah staggered backwards Jo spun her around, drove a front kick into her midsection to double her and then spiked her head into the canvas with a snap DDT. Once more McFarlane was quick to her feet and dropped an elbow into the back of her foes head as she started to push upwards. Quickly Jo rolled her opponent over and made the cover as the referee in the cage, Malcolm Parks, slid into position to make the count.

Zack: Jo’s looking for the early victory here! Pinfalls and submissions do count as well as escaping the cage, fans!

Mai: Let her kick out, I’m sure Jo is more than happy to deal out more punishemnt for her before it’s over.

As Savannah kicked out, Jo pulled her up back to her feet and marched her into the corner where she bounced the blondes head off the top turnbuckle. Jo repeated it a second, third and fourth time before she took hold of Savannah’s wrist and fired her across the ring, following in close behind her and delivered a splash to the blonde in the corner, landing on her feet only to spin around and catch Savannah with a spinning back fist to the jaw. Taylor staggered away along the ropes only to be halted thanks to a sidekick delivered to her kidney area by the Scot. A second side kick followed that followed that before Jo took a step towards, grabbing her wrist once more to Irish whip her across the ring. On her return, Savannah found herself lifted off her feet and dropped throat first across the top rope. The Scot immediately shoved the blonde back down across the top rope as the Las Vegas native tried to reel away, pressing down to choke her out while simultaneously shoving her face up against the wire wall of the cage.

Mai: I bet you Savannah won’t be doing any photo shoots for a while, unless it’s for Fangoria when Jo is through.

Zack: The cage is unforgiving, and it doesn’t have any favorites. It’ll damage anyone who comes across it.

Savannah began to fight back throwing an elbow backwards, catching Jo in the body. Two more elbows followed, Jo taking two steps away from her opponent and Taylor took full advantage as she threw a back kick into McFarlane’s middle. Jo doubled up and the former Franchisee grabbed hold of two handfuls of red hair and jerked her backwards, slamming her down into the canvas hard. Jo quickly started to rise to her feet only to be jerked towards her opponent, lifted off her feet and once more slammed down into the canvas with a huge alabama slam. Taylor wasted little time in floating over into a mount and started to wail away on the Scot with closed fist right and left hands before she pulled her up from the canvas and into a snapmare takedown. A stiff kick to her spine came next as Jo sat on the canvas as the Las Vegas native circled around her and slammed another devastatingly stiff kick into her sternum.

Zack: Notice how Savannah hasn’t shown the least bit of interest so far in going for the win? She just wants to punish Jo.

Mai: Yeah, remember how well that strategy worked earlier for Scarlett and Kelly?

Jo rolled to the side and began to push up to her feet but didn’t manage to get any further than all fours as Savannah dropped back to the ropes, came forward and delivered a double foot stomp to her shoulder blades. Taylor immediately began to lay the boots into her opponent’s body, stomping away at her in quickfire fashion. Finally she stooped down, pulling the red head to her feet and took her on a tour of the ring, introducing her at high speed to each wall of the cage as the fans cheered her loudly. As Jo bounced back off the fourth wall, Savannah was ready and waiting for her, applying a rear waistlock to her body and snapped off a German suplex.

Zack: Jo McFarlane is gonna have marks for days after bouncing off the walls of this cage, and Savannah is just getting warmed up!

Jo rolled to her front and started to scramble upwards only for Savannah to bounce off the ring ropes and catch her with a running kneelift to the jaw. The current Franchise member straightened up and staggered backwards where Taylor drove a knee into her breadbasket. Instantly the Scotswoman doubled over, cradling her stomach and Savannah dropped her on her head with an impaler DDT. Quickly Taylor rolled McFarlane onto her back and made the cover, hooking the leg as she did so.

Zack: Barely a two count for Savannah, but something tells me that’s alright with her! She has some payback to dish out.

Mai: That’s because she doesn’t know when to leave good enough alone, and go beg to Samantha for her forgiveness.

Jo kicked out, rolling to the side as she did so and propping herself up on her elbow. Savannah rose to her feet behind her and delivered a knee into the back of her head that caused McFarlane to fall forward onto her hands and knees. Taylor delivered another knee into the side of McFarlane’s head before she pulled her up to her feet once more and into a Muay Thai clinch that she combined with knees to the red headed wrestlers body. The blonde delivered one final knee to her opponent’s chest before she stepped past her and took her down to the canvas with a neckbreaker. The former FFW Champion held her neck in pain for a moment only to once more get herself pulled upright by her opponent who fired her into the corner. Savannah charged in behind her, driving a running knee into her stomach once more. Stepping to the side, Taylor began to unleash stiff Muay Thai style kicks into Jo’s body. As the volley of flying feet finished, McFarlane crumpled down onto her knees into the corner.

Zack: I lost count of how many of those lethal kicks that Savannah landed, but I bet Jo could tell me! What a flurry!

Mai: You know what this is really about? Savannah is jealous of Jo. She realizes she backed the wrong horse, and I bet she’s trying to show Samantha she wants to come back.

Savannah grinned as her opponent wrapped her arms around her body, taking off across the ring, bouncing off the ring ropes and delivered a running big boot to the side of her face as she was kneeling in the corner. The Franchise member rested against the turnbuckle for a moment before Taylor bent down and cupped her jaw in her hand. Savannah used the hold on her jaw to guide the Scottish wrestler back to her feet. raising her head up to look her in the eye before she unleashed one Hell of an open handed slap to her jaw. Jo’s hand came up to her cheek as she slumped back in the corner from the ferocity of the blow. Savannah climbed up onto the middle rope, getting a loud cheer from the crowd as she raised her fist into the air then brought it down knuckles first into her forehead, do it again and again and again as the crowd counted along.

Zack: Oh boy, Jo’s damn sure in the wrong part of town right now!

ONE!!!!

TWO!!!

THREE!!!

FOUR!!!!

FIVE!!!

SIX!!!

SEVEN!!!

EIG-!!!

Mai: Hey, these people can count to eight! I’m impressed!

As Taylor looked to deliver the eighth blow, Jo ducked down, lifted her opponent up onto her shoulders and drilled her into the canvas with a powerbomb that bounced Savannah’s head off the canvas and saw McFarlane fall back into the corner once more. A trickle of blood had formed upon the forehead of the former FFW Champion as she took a couple of moments lent up against the turnbuckles to collect herself as her opponent began to rise. As the blonde wrestler looked to get her feet underneath her, holding the back of her head, McFarlane climbed up the inside of the turnbuckles and launched herself off into a missile dropkick that sent Taylor falling back to the canvas and rolled backwards up to her feet, staggering backwards as she did so. As the American found her balance, Jo darted past her and used the ropes for a springboard into a headscissors takedown, spinning around Savannah’s head as she sent her flipping through the ropes and into the steel of the cage. Jo quickly made it to her feet and darted forward quickly as she launched herself into baseball slide, driving her feet into the side of the blonde’s head; slamming it against the cage wall.

Mai: Savannah, if you go to the back on your knees and beg Samantha, I’m sure she’d consider giving you another chance.

Zack: There’s no part of Savannah Taylor that wants to go back to the Franchise. That’s asinie!

Jo rolled away and began to crawl towards the door, pushing upwards to her feet as she headed towards it. The referee on the outside opened the door for her as she approached. Savannah quickly came to life as she pushed away from the cage and scrambled across the ring, hurling herself towards Jo and grabbing hold of her ankle, jerking it out from underneath her causing her to faceplant to the mat. McFarlane lashed out with her foot at Taylor’s head, trying to free herself from her grip; getting her wish after connecting three times. McFarlane launched herself towards the door and started to pull herself out only for Savannah to throw herself at her foe once more, grabbing hold of her legs and tried to yank her back into the ring. Tommy, however, barged the referee holding the door out of the way and grabbed hold of his daughter by the arms and attempted to help her escape the ring.

Zack: This isn’t a damn tag team match, but Jo’s father is trying to get her out of the cage any way he can!

Mai: He’s allowed to touch his daughter, there’s nothing wrong with that.

For a couple of moments, Savannah and the McFarlane patriarch played tug of war with the former FFW Champion before Taylor moved further up her foes body. The Las Vegas native planted a knee in the small of Jo’s back and reached forward, grabbing hold of the cage door and slammed it violently into Tommy’s body. She did it again before the grizzled former wrestler released his grip on his daughter… Not that Savannah cared as she once more brought the door crashing into him. He reeled away glaring at Savannah as she strongly suggested that he stopped trying to save his daughter from what she had coming to her as the referee securely fastened the door closed once more. Meanwhile Jo had been able to roll away and was starting to come to her feet in the middle of ring. Savannah turned her attention back towards Jo and advanced upon from behind only to be met with a pele kick that caused the blonde to crumple to the ground.

Mai: I wonder what Jo’s boot tastes like. I’m sure Savannah could tell me.

Jo rolled away once more and sat up against the ropes with a smile on her face as she pulled herself to her feet, watching as Savannah did likewise. As soon as the blonde had her feet underneath, McFarlane darted forward, leaving her feet and hooking Taylors head, spinning her around before she delivered a Tornado DDT to the woman. Quickly McFarlane rolled Savannah onto her back and made the cover, hooking her leg as she did so.

Mai: A tornado DDT might knock some sense back into Savannah’s head….if she’ll stay down.

Zack: That’s not who Savannah Taylor is, and she’s certainly not gonna give Jo a win if she can help it.

Savannah kicked out once more and Jo shook her head at Parks as he confirmed the two count to her and rolled away once more as Tommy rounded the cage next to her and fed a kendo stick through the openings in the cage wall. Jo scooped it up and came to her feet with an evil smile on her face and immediately advanced on the Las Vegas native as the blonde made it to her knees. Jo twirled the kendo stick as Taylor get her feet underneath her and Jo stepped forward, reared back and swung for the fences as she drove the weapon into her stomach. Once more McFarlane brought her favourite weapon backwards and delivered another shot across Savannah’s chest before she danced around the original Franchise member, continuing to use the Kendo stick to best effect, peppering her foes body over and over again with shots to the body. Taylor kept her feet underneath her as the shots continued to rain down upon her only for Jo to land a particularly stiff shot to the back of her knee, taking her leg out from under her as she fell backwards and landed hard on her back.

Mai: Look at that angelic smile on Jo’s face right now, Zack. It’s heartwarming and beautiful….as long as you aren’t the dumb bitch in the ring with her.

Jo’s smile got even wider as she pressed a boot down on Savannah’s chest, stopping her from rising from the mat as she lined up the point of the stick with the blonde’s windpipe. There was the slightest nod of her head before she jumped up into the air and drove the tip of the stick downwards into her opponent’s throat. Immediately Savannah began to gasp and choke for air, rolling around on the canvas before starting to push up to her knees only for Jo to line her up once more and bring the Kendo stick crashing down upon her hand once more - this time with such force that it snapped in two. Savannah slumped forward onto the canvas. Methodically Jo took Savannah’s back and used one half of the broken kendo stick across Taylor’s throat to pull backwards on her head. Again Taylor begins to gasp for air, desperately scrabbling at the wood in an attempt to pull it away.

Mai: Get used to that feeling, Savannah. Your career is gonna choke too since you’ve chosen to betray your best friend!

Zack: Anything goes inside a cage match, and that’s unfortunate for the former No Surrender Champion right now.

The Las Vegas native refused to submit when Parks asked her, choosing instead to plant her fists against the canvas and began to push upwards to her hands and knees instead. As she started to get traction, McFarlane used the remains of the kendo stick, lifting it into the air and brought it down across the back of the Blonde’s head like a club sending her back to the mat. McFarlane rolled Taylor over and made the cover once more.

Zack: Savannah’s still got something left inside her, but the question is how much longer can she withstand all this?

Savannah rolled the shoulder before the three count; Jo glared at Parks as he confirmed the two count before she rose to her feet with a shrug of her shoulders, bringing Taylor up with her. The Las Vegas native looked a little unsteady on her feet and the red head began to land stiff kicks to her legs and  body. A combination of seven kicks landed using both feet causing the former Franchise member to drop to one knee before the Scottish woman circled around behind her and pulled her upwards into and went looking for the Bang! Wheelbarrow facebuster. Savannah though had it scouted and as she was lifted upwards, the blonde arched backwards to grab Jo’s head and bring her face first down into the mat.

Zack: Jo went for the BANG, and Savannah wasn’t having it! What a counter! And just in the nick of time too!

Mai: Why are you such a Savannah fan? Do you not realize whose name is on your paycheck? It wouldn’t hurt you to do a little ass kissing.

Despite being on the receiving end of the counter McFarlane was the first one to start to move, rising to her feet and eyeing the door on the opposite side of her opponent who was only just starting to stir. There was a slight shake of her head and Jo looked to the top of the cage. The redhead walked towards the ropes and started to climb upwards, ascending the ropes before she started to ascend the cell wall. Taylor quickly forced herself up to her feet and quickly went after her opponent, grabbing hold of her foot as she looked to pull herself further up the wall. Savannah attempted to pull her down only for Jo to once more kick her away. The Las Vegas native wasn’t about to give up that easily as she too began to scale the cell wall, getting level with her opponent who caught her across the chest with a chop, followed by a second chop across the blonde’s chest before Savannah fired back, catching Jo with a short sharp closed fist dug into her kidney area that froze Jo up for a moment and got her head bounced off the cell wall.

Mai: A kidney punch is excruciating, and it freezes up your whole body! Turn around, Zack. And I’ll show you what I mean.

Taylor bounced Jo’s head off the steel mesh of the cell once more, McFarlane swaying backwards as she just managed to keep her grip on the metalwork. Savannah climbed a little further up the cell wall and hooked the Scotswoman around the head and pushed off with an attempted Snake Eyes avalanche shiranui...which only say the blonde wrestler crash hard to the canvas as Jo’s exerted a vice like grip upon the wall. McFarlane looked over her shoulder at the unmoving Taylor then up at the top of the cell. Then back down to her opponent as she seemed to be caught in a moment of indecision before she clambered two steps down the cage wall, putting her feet on the top rope which she then used as a springboard into a moonsault aimed perfectly across Taylor’s chest.

Mai: A gorgeous moonsault right there by Jo! She’s a pleasure to watch in the ring! It’s no wonder Samantha thinks the world of her.

Zack: She probably sees a lot of herself in her, and that’s about all it’d take for the boos.

And Jo landed squarely across Savannah’s knees as the American raised them at the very last second. Jo held her gut as she spasmed across the mat, Taylor rolling to the ring ropes and using them to pull herself up to her feet as McFarlane also started to rise. As soon as the former FFW Champion had her feet underneath her, Savannah darted forward and took her down to the mat with The Gamble corkscrew neckbreaker. Jo held her neck for a couple of moments before she started to rise once more, getting to her feet only to see her opponent wave her forward. McFarlane gave her exactly what she wanted as she charged towards her, Savannah sidestepping and quickly spinning around behind Jo to execute a snap dragon suplex, bridging upwards as she landed the move for the pinfall. Park slid into position to check the shoulders and make the count.

Zack: I don’t think Jo saw that one coming, and we’re about three seconds potentially from Savannah getting the win!

Mai: Or we couldn’t be close at all, and one of us is not giving Jo the benefit of the doubt.

Jo kicked out just after the two count and was quickly jerked upwards and slammed downwards with an STO backbreaker. As Jo’s back arched upwards and she rolled away, Savannah reached into her top and brought out a length of chain that she wrapped around her fist. The blonde waved Jo up to her feet and as she came vertical, Taylor stepped forward and like a boxer she began to fire right and left hands into the Scots body, driving the chain wrapped fist into her ribcage before she finished it off with a European uppercut. McFarlane fell backwards to the canvas only to quickly rise back to her feet once more before Savannah looped the chain around her foe’s neck and used it for a biel throw across the canvas.

Zack: Have you ever seen a biel with a chain around someone’s neck? Me neither, but Jo knows what it feels like firsthand.

Mai: That’s because Savannah doesn’t actually believe she can get the job done with her own ring skills. She has to resort to this kind of thing.

Again the red haired woman tried to rise to her feet quickly once more as Taylor wrapped the chain around her knuckles once more and took off towards Jo, leaving her feet for a Thesz press. As soon as they landed on the mat, Savannah targeted the cut on her opponent’s head and began to hammer away at it with the chain in rapid fire fashion, opening it up wide as she started to turn McFarlane’s forehead into a bloody mess. Finally the Las Vegas native rolled away from her opponent and waved her up to her feet. Slowly the Scottish wrestler began to rise up to her feet, Savannah measuring her up as she did so before she skipped forward and caught her on the side of the jaw with the Ultimecia uraken. Jo dropped back to the canvas like a sack of rocks and Taylor dropped on top of her, hooking her leg for the pinfall.

Zack: ULTIMECIA!! That’ll do it right there!!

...THREEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!NNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mai: Wrong again! Jo isn’t some rookie just having her first cage match, you know?

Malcolm Parks waved off the count immediately as Jo’s shoulder came up at the last moment. Savannah looked at the referee in disbelief as he showed her the two count, giving him a shake of her head and asking for the three count only for Parks to once more hold two fingers aloft. Nodding her head the former Franchise member pushed up to her feet and looked towards the door, starting to head towards it, the referee on the outside opening it up only for him to once more get barged out of the way by Jo’s father who slammed the door shut and, is for emphasis, swung a steel chair against it, shaking his head at her.

Zack: What a piece of garbage! He should be thrown out of here in handcuffs!

Mai: You need to show more respect for a veteran like that, Zack. So should Savannah too, since he was just making sure the door wasn’t squeaking. And good news, it isn’t!

Taylor glared at him for a moment before she turned away and quickly moved across towards the opposite corner, climbing up the turnbuckles and then beginning to climb the cage. As she did so, Tommy darted around the ring and began to ascend the outside to cut her off, chair still in one hand. He dragged himself quickly up the cage wall, throwing the folding chair over the top and to the canvas before he caught Savannah with a right hand to her jaw as she threw a leg up onto the top of the cage. He followed it up with a second and then a third, forcing her back inside the cage. Taylor held onto the top of the cage as she fired back with the chained right hand, catching him square in the forehead. Tommy launched another right hand towards her; Savannah ducking underneath it and caught him with another chain enclosed right hand before she grabbed the back of his head and bounced him face first off the top of the steel frame. As Savannah battled with Tommy McFarlane atop the cage, Jo was starting to slowly pull herself across the canvas towards the door.

Zack: This is a handicap cage match, it’s not one on one! It never is anymore when someone faces Jo!

Mai: I think Savannah said some unkind things about him, and he wanted to defend his own honor.

Again Tommy swung his fist at Savannah, missing once more as she leaned back out of the way. Again she grabbed him by the back of his head and was even more vicious in bouncing his face off the metalwork, followed with another short right hand that saw the elder McFarlane lose his grip and fall backwards from the top of the cage and crash through the nearest announce table. Savannah turned her attention back to the ring and saw Jo halfway out of the door already and trying to pull herself the rest of way out to victory. Quickly Taylor dropped back to the canvas and sprinted across the ring, grabbing Jo by the ankle and dragging her back into the middle of the cage as the referee closed the door once more.

Zack: We finally got the door closed back again, and we got this piece of trash out here at our feet!

Mai: Tommy, you poor man! Do you need mouth to mouth?

Jo scrabbled, spinning around and brought her feet up to her chest and kicked Savannah off of her, sending her stumbling backwards into the corner. As Taylor hit the pads she immediately started to walk forward towards her opponent only for McFarlane to explode upwards from one knee to drive her shoulder into her midriff, driving her backwards into the corner. Four shoulder thrusts followed it quickly before Jo reeled away. The red head saw the chair that her father had thrown into the ring and picked it up, tapping it against the mat before she hurled it towards Taylor in the corner. The Las Vegas native caught it in her hands and immediately McFarlane darted forward to drive the chair back into her face with a very stiff two footed dropkick. The chair flew out of Savannah’s grasp and she staggered forward once again only to get scooped off her feet and slammed downwards with a spinebuster. Jo rolled over and made the cover, hooking Taylor’s leg as she did so.

Mai: Look, Tommy! Jo’s about to win the match! Zack, make sure he’s alright!

One…

Two…

....THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!NNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Zack: I think he’s fine where he is! And Savannah is STILL fighting back!

At the last moment Savannah’s shoulder rolled up from the mat and Jo shook her head in disbelief that quickly turned into anger with the official as he confirmed the two count. The Scottish woman furiously demanded two, her blood covered face making her look all the more fierce but Parks stood firm that it was just a two count. Jo stormed away and retrieved the steel chair from where it had landed and brought it down across Taylors back as she made it all fours. Jo brought it down across her spine once more before she dropped the chair to the mat and pulled Savannah upwards, placing her head between her legs as she stepped forwards, over the chair before she grabbed Taylor by the tights and was elevated up into the air with a back body drop as Savannah countered whatever Jo had planned.

Zack: I’m not sure what Jo had in mind, but it’s a moot point now, isn’t it!

Taylor landed on her knees as she connected with the back body drop but quickly pushed up to her feet, Jo beating her to a vertical base only for the blonde to lash out and catch her in her lower gut with a mule kick. McFarlane doubled over and Savannah turned to face the red head, taking hold of her arm as she jerked her into the Siren’s Song planting her face first into the steel chair with her version of a desecrator. Taylor rolled Jo over onto her back and made the cover, hooking her legs as she did so.

Mai: Not the damn SIREN’S SONG!!

One…

Two…

...THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Zack: Savannah Taylor put one hell of an exclamation point on it, and has put Jo McFarlane down for good!

Malcolm Parks called for the bell and as it sounded Savannah Taylor rolled out of the cover and sat up before the referee helped her to her feet.

Maggie: Here is your winner, by way of pinfall….SAVANNAH TAYLOR!!!

Mai: Enjoy it, you dumb bitch! Because if you think that means you’re done with the Franchise, then you’re in for a surprise!

Zack: I think Savannah’s more than happy to oblige the rest of the Franchise, especially a certain “Typhoon” she still owes something!

The referee raised Savannah’s hand in the air getting a loud cheer from the sold out arena. Savannah was breathing deeply, holding her arm across her body before she raised her arm in the air. Jo rolled towards the ropes, holding her face in her hands as the cage began to rise. The crowd cheered Savannah loudly as the blonde began her celebration before the show cut elsewhere.

Second Chances

The show cuts to the back, and finds the COO standing alongside Amber Carano. He looks pleased as he shoves his hands into his pockets.

Amber: Seth, we just saw your fiance defeat Jo McFarlane inside a steel cage in a match you put together. I’m sure that makes you proud of her.

Seth: Correction, Amber. I am always proud of Savannah. It doesn’t matter so much what she does, I will always be proud of her. But as for the steel cage? Yes. Yes, that is something to be proud of. After the events at Unstoppable 9, she felt she owed Jo a little bit more. And as of tonight, I’d say she repaid that debt.

Amber: Does that mean she is done with the Franchise now?

Seth starts to smile at that.

Seth: Almost. There’s still one more person she has already expressed to me that she wants in the ring. And that is the “Typhoon” Bianca Salvador. After their last match, I think we can all agree that there’s something that needs to be settled. And that will be done at Global Wars in November.

This gets a pop from the crowd.

Amber: We’ve already got the first match confirmed for Global Wars then, Savannah Taylor versus Bianca Salvador of the Franchise. Are there any other matches you are prepared to announce?

Seth: Positively. I’m also going to put together a match for the FFW Unity Tag Team Championship when the Scarborough Fair meets KO/TO in an Unstoppable rematch. As close as that ladder match was, I honestly think it could have gone either way. As a result, I’m going to give Claire and Serafina one last chance against Mickey and Raquel for the Unity titles at Global Wars.

Amber: Anything else?

Seth: Without question. After what took place tonight, I’m going to give someone else another chance at Global Wars. After the war of words that took place in recent weeks, I am also booking a rematch between Alysson Gardner and Nevaeh Summers. But...with that said and due to the fact she won the match, I’m going to let Alysson name the match type she would like to have this rematch. And at Global Wars, we are going to resolve this issue once and for all between them. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go congratulate my fiance as she comes back from the ring….and take her to get medical attention.

Seth heads off in one direction as the show cuts to a commercial for the forthcoming Global Wars Pay Per View.

A spotlight hangs over the ring amidst the darkened arena, and Maggie stands beneath it with her microphone in hand and a smile on her face.

Maggie: The following contest is your main event of the evening scheduled for one fall, and it is for the FFW Championship!

Zack: The richest prize in women’s wrestling hangs in the balance, folks. This is what every woman who comes to this roster hopes to have for her own one day. I have one of Emma’s allies in Chaotic Temptation here joining me, Missy. Glad to have you.

Missy: It’s great to be here, Zack. I’ve been looking forward to this since the match was announced. I can’t wait to see Emma in action for it!

Black and blue lights douse the arena as “The Great Pandemonium” starts up on the PA system, and dry ice begins to rise from beneath the stage. As the softer beginningof the introduction plays, Ryan Mackenzie walks out from the back, bringing a chorus of boos from the crowd.

On a silent shore, I confronted fear.
I spoke to God, but he wasn’t there.
The sun is down and the war begun.
Assemble the great pandemonium!

The song truly kinds in at this moment, and as it does, Emma MacNamara comes through the curtain, raising the jeering from the crowd. Emma stands beside Ryan and the two look at each other, grins on the faces as they apparently enjoy the reaction they’re getting. Turning to face the ring, the pair begin their walk to ringside.

One more down by the book of Babylon.
One more down, in accordance with my fate.
One long drift ‘cross the lake of Avalon.
One more trip that I must create.

And my…
Eyes sweep a shore that was always there,
A blood red line in the Sonisphere.
I can’t resolve where it’s coming from,
I sense it’s the great pandemonium!

Maggie: Introducing first, from Glasgow, Scotland! Weighing in at 140 pounds, please welcome “PRETTY LITTLE PSYCHO” EMMAAAAAA MACNAMARAAAAAAAAAA!

The pair walk down, occasionally having to shift themselves as fans try to touch them. Reaching the bottom, Emma removes her jacket and hands it to a ringside attendant, while Ryan has moved to the apron, where he reaches down to help Emma up, and then allows her through the ropes.

One more day by the pits of Hell.
Just one more, when even yesterday was too late.
One more thought that I had to sell.
One last trick that you can’t debate

Emma walks over to her corner, where she pulls herself onto the middle turnbuckle. FOr only a moment, she looks around, disdain on her face at the sight of the crowd before she jumps back off and Ryan joins her in the corner. As the word “debate” is sung, the music cuts out and the lights return to normal.

Zack: The last time Emma MacNamara held the FFW Championship was November 27, 2010! It’s been nearly 8 years since she was in this title picture, and she plans to make up for lost time tonight.

Missy: After the record run she had with the Ultraviolence Championship, the ladies on the roster should be very worried when she manages to get her hands on the big one again.

The thumping war drums and the mysterious flute of "Aztec Temple" hit the sound system. The crowd comes alive as the Aztec Warrior Leona Vega comes through the main gate, wearing the [BELT] Championship belt around her waist. She looks over the cheering crowd, soaking it in for a bit, before unhooking the [BELT] Championship from around her waist and raising it overhead, letting out her traditional war cry, matched by a lion roar from the PA. She then slowly makes her way down the entrance ramp, sharing a high-five with the fans in attendance with their arms out for her.

Maggie: And her opponent, from Monterrey, Mexico… The reigning and defending FFW Champion... LEONA VEGA!

She then stops a couple of steps before the ring, wrapping the belt around her waist again. She backtracks a little bit and then sprinting towards the ring, hopping onto the ring apron, and then immediately vaulting over the top rope, landing in a three-point stance inside the ring. Soaking in the crowd's cheers, she gets up and climbs the nearest turnbuckle, staring into the crowd with a big smile and raising her championship belt overhead, saying a quick prayer to herself before slapping the top turnbuckle and jumping back down into the ring, cracking her joints in the sequence.

Zack: And then you have Leona Vega, who has chased the FFW Championship for well over a year! She finally made that dream happen at Unstoppable 9, and I doubt she’s ready to go back in line tonight!

Missy: With how hard Leona worked to get the FFW Championship, I’m sure she is going to put up one hell of a fight tonight to make sure that it doesn’t just slip straight back out of her fingers.

Referee Jennifer Stringer takes the title from Leona as the lights come back up. Emma takes it from her, and raises it over her own head to boos from the crowd. The referee asks for it back, but she instead hands it to Ryan. He takes it, and starts rubbing his sleeve against it as if to buff it up before Leona heads for the corner to get it back. As soon as she reaches through the ropes to grab it, Emma kicks her in the ribs and drags her by the head back into the ring. The referee calls for the bell as Emma starts hammering forearms across the back of her head before she uses a bulldog to send her head into the middle turnbuckle. The challenger grins as Vega drops to the mat, and then has Emma’s bootlaces raked across her face.

Zack: I think we can see what the opening strategy was, and it worked too! Emma’s starting to uncork her offense on the champion, meanwhile her husband still has the FFW Championship.

Missy: It was definitely an effective strategy. Leona should really have known better after how long she has known Emma, turning your back on her is never a wise idea.

Emma then started driving elbows into Leona’s head as she was trying to get up. She pulled her into a standing side headlock long enough to fire right hands into her face. When she let go, Leona stumbled backwards and Emma bounced off the near side ropes with a running kneelift to her head. It stood Leona up straight and stumbled her backwards before a discus clothesline from the challenger put her down on the mat. She rolled her onto her stomach, pulled her head up and then fish hooked both sides of her mouth, as it looked like she was trying to tear her face apart.

Missy: Emma has been focused on this match since it was announced and it’s showing in spades so far. She isn’t going to give Leona any semblance of an easy time tonight.

Zack: There is no good will here. These two have never gotten along, and it doesn’t look like the FFW Championship is going to fix it...only make it worse.

Stringer got to a four count before Emma finally let go. The former Ultraviolence Champion took off for the ropes again, this time picking up momentum before catching Leona with a leaping roundhouse kick to the jaw. It dropped her immediately, and Emma grabbed the outside leg for the cover as the referee fell to count.

Zack: Emma kicks like a damn mule, but I never saw a mule do that! Leona may be on Dream Street!

ONE!!

TWOOOOOOOOO!!!

NOPE!!

Leona kicked out as the two hit the mat. Emma sat up with a shrug of her shoulders and a smile forming on her face. She pulled Vega up with her, and sent her into the far corner chest first. As the champion staggered backwards, Emma ran towards her and planted her with an inverted hurricanrana.

Missy: It’s clear that Leona isn’t going to give up easily, but the way Emma is keeping the pressure on, she may not have a choice. Emma is not someone you want to be in the path of when she has her eye set on something.

A running baseball slide followed that, with Emma sending her nearly out of the ring. Leona managed to catch herself on the ropes before she fell to the floor. She used the ropes to help her get to her feet before Emma measured her again. The “Pretty Little Psycho” watched her for a second, and then charged towards her with a flying shoulder block in mind. But Leona grabbed the top rope, and let Emma sail right over it and crash land on the floor ringside. Vega rolled back in under the bottom rope, and began trying to pull herself together.

Zack: That definitely did not go to plan for the #1 contender, did it? Emma was gonna send Leona on a first class trip to the floor, but Vega decided not to take the flight.

Missy: Leona’s bought herself a little recovery time if nothing else, but she’ll need to make it quick. Emma isn’t going to stay down for long, and I imagine she’ll be rather pissed after that!

Ryan tried to encourage his wife as he stood at the nearest corner, still clutching the FFW Championship that didn’t belong to his wife. As Emma began to rise, she glanced over towards him just as Leona had taken off! The champion vaulted over the top rope with a suicide dive that drove Emma right back into the floor, and she followed it up with furious right hands to the side of her head that brought the crowd back to life. She popped up to her feet, and shouted to the crowd before she glanced over to see Ryan with her title.

Zack: Leona Vega is feeding off this crowd in the AllState Arena, and she just spotted some of her property in the wrong hands!

Missy: She would do well to keep her attention on Emma rather than her husband, otherwise it isn’t going to stay her property for much longer.

Ryan darted around to the other side of the ring as Leona noticed Emma starting to get up. She pulled her up the rest of the way, and drove her head into the apron once and then again. It stumbled the challenger before Leona scooped her up for an atomic drop...but instead ran her into the ring post, wrapping Emma’s body around it before the challenger collapsed to the floor almost in a ball.

Zack: Emma’s gonna know that ring post better than anyone after tonight! It’s clear to me that Leona Vega is happy to fight the challenger any way she wants!

Missy: It takes a lot to get the better of Emma, but being wrapped around a ring post is gonna slow anybody down, at the very least.

Leona pulled her back to her feet, and went to toss her back inside. But Emma blocked her with a shot to the midsection. She drove her backwards into the same post, freezing Leona in her tracks for a second...until Emma leaned back and went for a massive chop. But Leona ducked out of the way, and Emma’s hand slapped the ringpost violently with a snap. Her mouth fell open in pain as she clutched her hand until Leona caught her with a high knee to the head that put her down on the floor. Emma lay on her side, still clutching her very red hand as the champion rolled back into the ring.

Missy: If Emma hasn’t just fractured a bone in her hand there, I will be extremely surprised! I can feel the pain of that one for her!

Zack: I’ve never heard a sound like that off the ring post in my life. And you’re right, Emma’s hand may be broken! Leona’s back in the ring, and the count is underway!

Ryan implored his wife to get back to her feet as the referee was counting. She was slow to do so, still favoring her hand before she finally made it to the apron. Vega caught her with a knee strike to the ribs before pulling her head under the bottom rope. And with her feet hanging on it, Leona executed a hangman’s DDT before she rolled Emma onto her back inside for the cover.

Missy: Leona has definitely turned this match around from how it started, but I don’t think she’s done enough to keep Emma down for three yet!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THR-NOPE!!!

Emma’s arm came up off the mat, and Leona quickly seized it and pressed it against the mat. She quickly applied a Fujiwara armbar submission, but pulled back on her injured fingers at the same time, causing the challenger’s face to look as though it were in agony!

Zack: Emma got her shoulder up, and look at that! Leona’s happy to make her regret it! Shades of Sophia Pike with this armbar, but look at her pulling on those damaged digits from a moment ago!

Missy: I’m predicting now that move is not going to end well! Emma is going to be in absolutely agony, but more than that her anger is gonna be building too!

Emma’s other hand clawed at the mat as she tried to reach the ropes, literally pulling them both a couple inches before she could get her foot across the bottom rope. Leona broke the hold when the referee asked, but pressed her arm to the mat and held it there with one foot. She glanced over to Emma, and delivered a big stomp to her hand. Emma’s face wrenched in pain as Leona kept her foot on her arm before raising the other and stomping those fingers once again.

Missy: The thing with Emma is she’s used to experiencing a lot of pain in the kind of matches she’s usually in, so she will find some way to zone it out, at least a little bit. Then she’ll make sure to return the pain in spades!

Zack: I’ve said many times that you can’t toughen up your eyes, but I think we can add fingers to that list. Leona is gonna make that hand as useless as she can tonight, which will certainly limit Emma’s offense.

Leona finally took her foot off Emma’s arm long enough to leave her feet for a knee drop into that same hand and fingers. Emma jerked her hand to her body in pain before Leona pulled her back to her feet. She pulled her hand and arm behind her back, and planted her to the mat with a hammerlock slam. And again, Emma clutched her hand tightly with her teeth gritted in pain. The camera zoomed in to show the discoloration already on her hand, with it being darker than the rest of her arm already.

Zack: Look at Emma’s hand, it’s starting to change color! That could be bruising, that could be a broken hand, it could be all of the above! But whatever it is, it’s fair game for Leona tonight.

Missy: It’s an effective game plan, that’s for sure. The pain is going to be excruciating for Emma at the moment, you can tell just by looking at her hand.

With the crowd behind her, Leona started to pull Emma back to her feet. But the challenger surprised her with a jawbreaker. It sent the champion back a couple steps off balance before Emma lunged towards her, driving her back first into the corner with a shoulder tackle. She began unloading with furious elbows to the top of Leona’s head before the champion shoved her backwards. Emma came forward again, catching Leona with a right hook to the jaw that made the challenger shout in pain as she clutched her hand to her body as Leona leaned against the corner.

Missy: I think that is definitely a case of ‘this is gonna hurt me more than it will hurt you’! Emma might want to try not to throw too many punches with that hand in the state it is.

Zack: Have you ever seen someone throw a punch and scream in pain from doing it? Because that’s where we are right now! Sure, it rocked Leona but Emma hurt herself far worse.

The champion gathered herself in the corner, and took off towards Emma. But she got caught on the way, and Emma scooped her up into a sidewalk slam on the canvas. A grimace of pain on Emma’s face, she cradled Leona’s head with one arm and used the good hand to pelt her with fists to the face. When she finally got back to her feet, she bent over in pain as she clutched her hand to her body. A glance to Ryan followed, and she told him it was broken.

Missy: This is not looking good for Emma. She needs to put this match away now, she can’t go on much longer with the way that hand is. I’ll be surprised if the referee isn’t already considering calling it.

Zack: If the referee calls it, I think Emma would try to kill her honestly. She’s still fighting. We’re gonna answer the riddle tonight, I think. What good is a one handed woman in an ass kicking contest?

Leona started to get up again, only for Emma to yank her forward and deliver a gutwrench powerbomb to the canvas. She dropped across her and hooked a leg with the good hand as the referee dropped to count.

Zack: Gutwrench powerbomb, that might seal the deal for the #1 contender!

ONE!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NOPE!!

Leona got her shoulder up before the three, and Emma rolled off the cover. She headed for the corner next, and made her way to the top rope. Emma’s face showed equal parts anger and agony as she pulled her elbow pad up above her elbow.

Missy: The good thing about adrenaline is it keeps you going, even when your body needs to stop. I think that is what Emma is running on at the moment… well, that and anger.

The challenger measured Leona and came off the top rope with an elbow drop in mind, but Leona rolled out of the way. Emma’s elbow hit the canvas hard, causing her to yell in pain as she clutched her hand and arm back to her body. Meanwhile, Leona was heading to the ropes to help her get up.

Zack: Emma went for the big elbow, and it missed! You could almost feel the shockwaves that went all up and down her arm, including those fingers and hand!

Missy: I might have considered using the other arm in that situation, but a lot of what Emma does in the ring is instinctual. Just like with most wrestlers to be honest. She needs to retrain her mind to protect that hand, and quickly.

As the challenger started to move again, Leona was back to her feet. She took off for the far side ropes to pick up speed, and caught Emma on the rebound with a satellite DDT that sent her spinning around and around before it connected. She rolled her over onto her back, and hooked both legs for the cover as the referee dropped to count.

Zack: That’s one of her favorites, the ORBIT DDT! And Leona may have her first defense in the bag right now!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NO!!

Emma’s shoulder came off the mat right before the three, and Leona saw it. She quickly grabbed her arm again as Emma started trying to jerk it free before she could do any more damage.

Missy: That was too close for comfort! Emma’s keeping herself in this though, even with Leona doing everything but throw the kitchen sink at that hand!

Leona was getting the better of her though, and was pulling her hand back to her before Emma lifted her head and bit into her nose. The champion shouted in pain and rolled away, clutching her face as Emma crawled on both knees and one hand away to get up to her feet. She finally got to her feet, clutching her hand to her body as the camera saw it shaking with her fingers frozen in one position.

Missy: That is one way to get someone out of your face quick. I’m not sure I’d want a mouthful of someone’s nose though. Ewww.

Zack: You can see her hand quaking against her. Those fingers aren’t moving at al, and you can damn well bet it’s broken right now! I don’t know what Emma’s thinking, but she better end this sooner than later….IF she can!

Emma gave the sign for one of her finishers as she watched Leona beginning to rise. When the champion was on her feet, Emma rushed her and left her feet to deliver her headscissors DDT that spiked Leona into the mat. She shoved her over with her good hand, and hooked both legs for the cover!

Zack: There it is….PLAYING WITH SCISSORS!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

The referee called for the bell to loud boos from the crowd as Emma rolled off the cover, still holding her hand tightly to her body. Ryan slid into the ring, and helped her to her feet before the referee raised the good hand in victory.

Missy: YES!!! She did it! I knew that she would.. Though it was touch and go I think with that hand. Medical attention might be a good idea right about now.

Maggie: Here’s your winner AND NNEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWW FFW Champion……’THE PRETTY LITTLE PSYCHO’ EMMA MACNAMARA!!!

Ryan awarded his wife the FFW Championship he had been holding the entire match, telling her how proud of her he was.

Zack: I’ll give the devil her due here. Emma MacNamara is one of the toughest human beings I’ve ever seen in this business, and she just reunited with a title she’s not held for almost 8 years! I guess you can go home again, because Emma Mac is back on top of FFW!

Missy: It is gonna take a hell of a lot to prise that title out of her hands now that she’s got it. And with what she just went through to get it, it is gonna be all the sweeter!

Ryan held the ropes open for her as she headed out to the floor. She put the title over her shoulder, and clutched her other hand to her body amid the boos of the arena crowd.

Zack: Emma’s not hanging around for a whole lot of celebrating right now. She definitely needs some medical attention on that hand, and I don’t blame her for going to get it.

Missy: If that’s not broken, I’ll be extremely surprised. It’s turned a fetching shade of purple though.. So there’s that.

Zack: Emma Mac’s on top of the mountain for the second time in 8 years! Thank you for joining us! We’ll see you October 9th for Future Shock! Good night from Sin & Sacrifice!

Emma ignored the dislike of the crowd as she stopped long enough to smile at her reflection in the FFW Championship as Sin & Sacrifice faded off the air.
