Live from the Future Shock Arena in Boston, Massachusetts
May 7, 2019

The FFW logo is shown on the side of a building until someone spray paints the Future Shock symbol over it as engines begin revving in the background. The shot spins around to see a race track with all types of sports cars racing their engines until a redhead in short shorts and a black top drops the green flag! “Confident” by Demi Lovato begins to play as Brianna watches the cars peel out from the behind the starting line.

It's time for me to take it
I'm the boss right now
Not gonna fake it
Not when you go down
'Cause this is my game
And you better come to play

The shot then cuts to a clip of Harley Shannon becoming a two time Future Shock Champion in Sydney. Mikalya and Melody Stone congratulate their sister, Madyson, after a win in the Garden. Katie Hanley flashes a peace sign to the camera with a smile.  The next shot takes us back to the race as Nora Harris looks into the rearview mirror to see a muscle car driven by Lydia Charisma, who gives her a thumbs up. Another car shows us the Cortez sisters in the front seats, and tossing a few nails out of both windows onto the road behind them.

I used to hold my freak back
Now I'm letting go
I make my own choice
Bitch, I run this show
So leave the lights on
No, you can't make me behave

We cut to a shot from a nightclub as Cait Flanagan is casting a stare as she sings a song in a short dress. “Midnight” Mila Martin is seen smiling as a large crowd in the Staples Center gives her a loud response. Mara Werth cracks her knuckles as she looks across the ring at her opponent. Vivi Robichaud bumps fists with Mars Whimsey before they head towards the camera, and then we’re back to the race.

What's wrong with being, what's wrong with being
What's wrong with being confident?

Katie Keller is shown watching with binoculars from the pit area. The shot changes back to the cars as Celeste slams on the gas, and barrels towards the finish line not too far ahead. Gaining speed on her is Sydney Christensen though before the camera spins towards the finish line. There in the winner’s circle is a chuckling Kyle Kilmeade surrounded by Valerie McKinley, Lacey, Cassandra Steen, Stacey Sky, and Elizabeth Lannister. The cars on the track pick up speed towards the finish line before we fade on the Future Shock logo and then inside the arena to a roaring crowd with spotlights moving in all directions over them.

Zack: The road to Wipeout is upon us, and we welcome back you to the Future Shock Arena in Boston! Zack and Steph here, and there’s plenty on tap for tonight! In our main event, Katie Keller has a new outlook and she’s gonna look to impose it the hard way on “Li’l Pixie Pump” Nora Harris. And after what Harris did to Kyle on the last show, she better keep her head on a swivel.

Steph: She’s got Keller to contend with, every single member of the Gold Standard, probably Kyle himself... You heard of heavy weighs the crown? Heavy lays the payback.

Zack: Also tonight, Luna Cortez is gonna go one on one with Sydney Christensen. This could be an outstanding opportunity for Sydney to get some momentum behind her by knocking off one of the triplets. But we know none of the Cortez girls are short of confidence or treachery.

Steph: I do like the recent idea that Vivi offered. Since we don’t know which triplet you get and they can just share all the wins, they should share all the potential losses too. I mean who is to say that Sydney shouldn’t be in Future Shock title conversation potentially?

Zack: With all these new teams Adam has been bringing in that we’ve got to see, he says he’s got two teams in mind to face off for a shot at the tag titles. We’ll find out which two teams they are, and I suspect every team back there is sitting on pins and needles hoping it’s them.

Steph: From Target Acquired, Raging Dragons, The Laurie Jane Experience, and well... The Cortez... Uh, Combine? Possibilities are endless.

Zack: Mikayla Stone of Trinity did a little magic to make sure she got the match tonight against Cait Flanagan. I’m sure Cait’s all healed up after what can only be described as a public beating she took from Nora Harris back at Malice. I’m guessing you back Cait here, Steph?

Steph: I gotta back her, Zack. At least until she likely costs me my job in the most hilarious ‘The way you get it is the way you lose it’ fashion. I can bet Mikalya is gonna give her all the fight in the world however.

Zack: We’re also gonna hear from the newest addition to the Prospect roster, that being Carys McFarlane. She’s done it all in SVW from tag titles to the top title and a Hall of Famer too. I’m curious to find out what brought her here when I’m sure she could have went straight to FFW with that pedigree.

Steph: You and me both. I know Gaby is on cloud nine with this news however and has been since it was announced.

Zack: All that and a whole lot more are on tap, so let’s get things rolling. The world’s most famous “Wildcat” ring announcer is standing by!

The show cuts to the ring as Gabrielle Crimson moves to the center, and raises her microphone to begin.

Gaby: The opening contest of Future Shock is scheduled for one fall to a finish.

Look out, they're closing in on you now
Wake up, or you’ll wake up six feet down
Nobody's got your back in this town
Knock 'em. In the. Teeth. NOW!

The intro to Set It Off's "Killer in the Mirror" starts on the sound system, and lights start blinking in random colors as Luna Cortez walks onto the entrance ramp. She's soon joined by her manager Christian Kincaid, as he stands right beside her to show her off for the crowd. She stops right before the ramp, taking a spin and stopping in a particular pose, winking for the cameras before turning on her heels and running her hands up her slender body and then bringing them above her head, only to then point to the ring... and then wave off the booing audience. Shaking her head, Luna then starts strutting down the entrance ramp, rolling her eyes at the fans in attendance as she makes her way to the ring.

Gaby: Introducing first, escorted to the ring by Christian Kincaid... From Fort Worth, Texas... LUNA CORTEZ!

When Luna climbs into the ring, she makes her way to the ropes facing the hard camera, stepping onto the second rope and sitting on the top rope, her back turned to the hard cam and the audience, as she makes a pose similar to the one she did atop the ramp, winking at the cameras before she waves the crowd off once again and hops back down to the ring, making her way to her corner and sharing some last minute strategy with Christian.

Zack: Luna and Anna made it clear on our last broadcast that they wanted to be in consideration for the Future Shock Tag Titles, Steph. And given how well they tend to work together in singles matches….odd as that is to say...they may have a point.

Steph: Well, yes I guess but the idea of the Cortez... Siblings claiming every single title in Future Shock is an odd picture. A possible one to be sure, but an odd one.

The sound of a guitar strumming subtly begins to echo in the arena, leaving those in attendance wondering what is going on. The angelic voice of one Lzzy Hale of the band Halestorm is heard next, her voice serenely starting the opening verse of “I Am The Fire.”

Am I brave enough?
Am I strong enough?
To follow the desire
That burns from within
To push away my fear
To stand where I'm afraid
I am through with this
'Cause I am more than this
I promise to myself
Alone and no one else
My flame is rising higher.

As the song picks up the tempo, her voice becomes more intense, kicking into the chorus.

I am the fire
I am burning brighter
Roaring like a storm

Midway through the chorus, the curtains part and out walks the pride of Calgary herself, Sydney Christensen.  She steps out to the middle of the stage and juts her arms out on either side of her, tossing her head back as the fans show their appreciation. She picks her head up and slowly brings her arms in front of her, her index fingers pointing down to the ring. Dropping her arms to her side, she begins her march towards the ring, nodding at a few fans along the way. Once she reaches the ring, she hops up onto the apron and steps through the bottom and middle ropes. Almost immediately, Sydney walks over to the ropes and raises her arms above her head, encouraging the fans as they cheer on the proud Canadian. Sydney then walks over to one corner of the ring and rests her back against the turnbuckle, awaiting her opponent as her music fades out on one poignant line of the chorus.

And I am the one I've been waiting for
Screaming like a siren
Alive and burning brighter
I am the fire!

Gaby: Introducing from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, this is…...SYDNEY CHRISTENSEN!!

Zack: I think Sydney may be the most tenured and experienced Prospect that Luna’s ever face in Future Shock. We’ve seen those clips of her on Twitter hanging and banging in the gym, and Luna may be about to run into a brick wall.

Steph: I like Christensen and unlike some of our fans it’s not just because of DAT ASS.... Not that I blame them. Demographics. Our Canadian juggernaut can easily go and Luna is NOT going to have a fun time tonight.

Referee Melinda Davis checks both women, and calls for the bell. They head for the center with Luna trying to talk Sydney down, which only gets a quiet but intense look from the blonde. She keeps talking, and shoves Sydney….only to find out it didn’t budge her. Luna looked a little confused, and shoved her again. Still nothing. Sydney told her to hit the ropes and try, which Luna did. She bounced off the far side, and ran a shoulder block into Sydney...that sent Luna down instead. The brunette got back to her feet just as Sydney walloped her with a right hand to the jaw. Two more of those landed before she scooped her up into a military press...and walked out from under her to let her faceplant on the mat.

Zack: Luna tried to intimidate Sydney, but...that didn’t go according to plan. I’ll tell you what, Sydney is solid as a rock!

Steph: This is why you don’t try and go blow-for-blow with your big girls. CHRISTIAN TOLD YOU THIS LUNA! I KNOW BECAUSE HE USED TO HAVE TO TELL MICKEY AND RAQUEL THE SAME THING!

Luna started to get up, and it was Sydney who used the running shoulder tackle that floored her to the canvas. She pulled her up by the head into a front facelock, and drove knees into her body before scooping her upside down in a stalling vertical suplex. At least five seconds passed before Sydney crashed her down to the mat. The Canadian got to her feet, telling Luna to get up. She didn’t give her much chance though as she pulled her back to her feet, and fired her into the corner. A running clothesline lifted Luna off her feet before Sydney picked her up again, and launched her with a body slam that sent her almost halfway across the ring.

Zack: Luna must feel like she’s fighting a wrecking ball, because that’s all Sydney has been doing to her since the bell rang for this match.

Steph: Much less Miley Cyrus and a lot more crushing blows. Christensen is beating on Cortez and did you see the launch off that body slam?!

The triplet made it back to her feet, one hand pressed against her back at the same time. Sydney circled around behind her for a short knee into her kidneys, and then picked her up for a backbreaker across her knee. A double stomp to her lower back followed that, and Sydney went for an atomic drop to follow. Luna managed to slip out of her grip, and land on her feet behind her….until Sydney caught her with a discus clothesline before she could do anything else. The Canadian shook her head as she looked down to Luna, The triplet was dragged back to her into a double knee backbreaker before Sydney rolled her over and went for the cover.

Zack: I thought Luna was about to counter there….but I was wrong! Sydney is all business, and cleaning Luna’s clock!

ONE!!

TWOOOO!!

Cortez kicked out at two, and Sydney rose to her feet. She pulled Luna by the arm, and fired her across for the ride. But Luna surprised her on the rebound with a big boot across her jaw. The Calgary native stumbled backwards, and Cortez followed up with a leg lariat to put her down.

Steph: Cortez finally gets Sydney down and she better keep up on this!

Cortez held her back in pain for a moment before stomping Sydney repeatedly out of anger. A standing fist drop landed against her head, and Luna applied an illegal choke until the referee got to a four count. Another choke followed that for a four count before Luna finally got back to her feet. Sydney started to do the same while catching her breath, and the brunette took off for the near side to connect with a step up enzuigiri. Feeling a bit more confident now, she turned to the crowd and held up both hands to shout “10 stars!”

Steph: Shouldn’t it be 15 at this point, Zack?

Zack: Well yeah, but there’s only one of them out here and she only has the 10 fingers, you see.

As she did this, Sydney began to get back up behind her. The blonde applied a rear waistlock, but Luna countered out into one of her own. Sydney started throwing elbows with both arms, trying to catch Luna with a shot. But the brunette buried her head, missing all of them before she ran her forward into the ropes and into an O’Connor roll. Davis dropped immediately to make the count.

Steph: O’Connor Roll and there’s the pin!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

Sydney kicked out as the two struck, and rolled away to her feet. Luna was there to greet her thought with an European uppercut that stumbled her backwards a couple steps. Cortez followed up with a roundhouse kick to the side of her head followed by a Russian leg sweep.

Zack: She might be a little out there, but you gotta admit Luna’s got some technical skills too. She must have realized Sydney isn’t to be toyed with.

The triplet got back to her feet, and took off towards the ropes. She came back looking for a rolling thunder style senton, but the blonde got her knees up instead. Luna landed across them in pain, and Sydney rose to her feet. She applied an inverted Boston crab, and looked down at the pained Luna as she held it. Christian moved around in front of his client, and waved her towards him so she could get to the ropes.

Zack: Look at that, Steph. Looks like Sydney’s a fan, that’s one of your favorite holds as well, isn’t it? Christian’s trying to will Luna towards him though to get the rope break.

Steph: I respect the shoutout with Sydney using The Ratings Spike! It works every inch of the spinal column as Luna is learning.

Luna’s face showed the agony she was in as Christian waved her towards him. She crawled with her hands a couple inches, and lunged forward to grab the bottom rope. But Sydney dragged her away from it a couple steps, causing the brunette’s face to sink and then grimace in pain. That was when the boos began as another of the triplets started to make her way down to the ring in matching ring gear. She strolled past Christian to share a few words between them, and then the other twin headed around to the far side of the ring so Sydney could see her. As soon as she did, Sydney released the hold and pointed it out to the referee that another of the twins was at ringside.

Zack: I have no idea which one of the two this is, but it’s got Sydney’s attention either way. She’d do well to keep Luna at close range from this point forward. We know what happens otherwise.

Steph: She has no choice, Zack. We all know this and yet there still is gonna be potential confusion happening around her.

Sydney warned the other twin about doing anything, while Luna was struggling to get back to her feet. When the blonde turned back to the ring, Luna surprised her with a bicycle kick that floored her to the mat. She clutched her back in pain, not able to even stand up straight before she used the middle rope for a springboard into an Asai moonsault into a cover. The official dropped to make the count.

Steph: Asai Moonsault and there’s the pin!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THR-NOPE!!

Sydney avoided the three with a kick out, causing Luna to sit up on her knees and still clutch at her back for a moment. The pair got back to their feet, only for Luna to land a palm thrust into Sydney’s throat. It spun her around into the ropes trying to catch her breath. As the referee admonished Luna, the other twin delivered a thrust of her own to Sydney’s throat that dropped her to her knees.

Zack: I’m not sure what the referee was telling Luna, but it gave her sister a chance to do a little added damage on the outside.

When the blonde got back to her feet again, Luna grabbed her arms and delivered an inverted Russian leg sweep that drove Sydney face first into the canvas. She rolled her over to make the cover about the same time as another visitor headed down the ramp. Luna glanced up to see Arabella Townshend heading towards the ring. Cortez sat up on her knees, and told the referee to get Arabella out of here. She seemed to forget about making the cover, and instead pummeled Sydney with right hands to her head.

Zack: This match is starting to turn into a block party. Here’s Arabella out here, presumably to even the sides since Luna’s got either Tara or Anna out here with her.

Steph: Huh... This is an interesting situation we have here. I didn’t expect Townshend to get out here and... Hilariously Cortez is telling the ref to get her out of here. I guess it on the other side doesn’t work for her.

Luna dragged Sydney back to her feet, and fired her across to the far side. But Sydney ducked the clothesline on the rebound, and stopped behind Luna. When the triplet turned around, Sydney snatched her up into a belly to belly overhead suplex that sent her over the top rope to the floor at her sister’s feet. Christian headed around the corner to check on her as Arabella smiled at what she saw. Sydney noticed the rookie at ringside, and didn’t seem too enthusiastic to see her.

Steph: I get the sense Sydney was working with a ‘I can do bad all by myself’ kinda vibe from that look. Yet Arabella just wants to help!

Zack: That’s what it looks like to me. But Sydney apparently isn’t too fazed one way or the other.

The referee admonished Christian, and told him to head back to Luna’s corner. She followed him to make sure he went as the other twin hopped up onto the apron. Both Arabella and Sydney saw it as Luna laid on the floor, still holding her back.

Zack: Uh oh, it looks like we’re about to see another bad case of twin magic….not that there’s a good case of it!

Steph: I do look forward to the day we see a good case of it... Maybe during sweeps week...

The referee spun back around as Arabella pulled the other twin off the apron, and decked her with a right hand. Davis called for the bell as Sydney’s eyes widened. Arabella shook her head as the referee told Sydney she was disqualified.

Steph: ...WELP.

Gaby: The referee has disqualified Sydney Christensen for outside interference. Therefore your winner………..LUNA CORTEZ!!!

Zack: But that wasn’t Luna she hit! Arabella stopped the other twin from getting into the ring, and the referee has lost the script!

Arabella climbed up onto the apron to try to explain to the referee what happened. Meanwhile, Luna and her twin got up around the corner. Luna, still clutching her back, grinned as Christian and then the referee raised her hand.

Sydney turned her gaze towards Arabella, none too happy with her as Arabella explained she was trying to help her out of respect to her. It didn’t seem to impress Sydney any though.

Steph: You gotta believe Townshend was really just trying to help but Calgary’s favorite daughter ain’t trying to hear any of this.

Zack: Arabella’s heart was in the right place, but I doubt Sydney is going to feel too warm and fuzzy about all of this.

The twins and Christian headed up the ramp as Sydney shook her head in the ring with a very annoyed look on her face. The show cuts elsewhere from there.

Something for Jessica

Future Shock heads to the back to find Adam holding something under his arm as he stands next to Jessica Anderson, who gets a warm reception from the Boston crowd.

Adam: I appreciate you coming to the show tonight, and I promise I had a good reason to invite you. And it’s not to throw you in the ring for a match this time.

Jessica: Well, you know me. I've got my gear with me just in case any of the prospects get any funny ideas!

Adam: I know you are close to winding down your career, and as much as you didn’t have to, you’ve certainly been a major part of Future Shock over the last several months. A woman like you could have spent all that time on the FFW main roster, but you chose to do so here. And that means a lot to me, and I want to both thank you for that….and give you something as well.

Jessica: Oh, you didn't have to do that. I've loved every minute I've spent here, whether in the ring or not. It's been a pleasure.

Adam: And that’s why I had this commissioned and made for you to keep as part of your trophy case.

He shows her what he’s holding, and it’s a Future Shock Championship. It’s a perfect replica of the actual one, and has her name etched across the bottom of it.

Jessica: I… I don't know what to say. It's beautiful. Thank you so much.

Adam: I’ve only given this to one other person when her career was winding down at the time, and I would say you deserve the same treatment. You may not have gotten to challenge for the actual one, but you deserve to be one for everything you’ve added and been part of in Future Shock.

Jessica: I've never been given a Championship for losing every match I've had before, so this is very much a first for me. But I love it. Just knowing that I've helped with the development of even a small number of the women here is enough to fill me with pride. So I'll graciously accept this Future Shock Championship in celebration of all the fantastic women I faced, and the ones I didn't.

Adam: And I also had a talk with FFW management. And they told me you could pick anyone you wanted on the main roster to have your last FFW match with next month. How does that sound?

Jessica: That's fantastic! Thank you so much!

Adam: Give it some thought, you don’t have to decide right now. And let me know when you decide, and we’ll get it set up at the earliest possible date.

Jessica: Without a doubt. I'll have sleepless nights for a while thinking about this. It's going to be a very difficult decision!

He shakes her hand and then ends up giving her a hug before the show cuts elsewhere inside the arena.

The Pinball Arrives

The show cuts away to Gabrielle Crimson in a rather different position than usual: standing backstage for an interview. And judging by the billion-Dollar smile on her face, those who know her already know who is in her company.

Gabrielle: Hello, everyone! Gabrielle Crimson reporting from backstage, and do I ever have a special guest tonight! She made her arrival on the last show by exploding out of a huge gift box, which... Sure! I'm SO proud to present to you the newest addition to Future Shock... And my best friend... Carys McFarlane!

The grin on the baby McFarlane, which was already quite big, only grows as she bounces on the balls of her feet.

Carys: Thanks, Gaby! I gotta tell you, that was a very strange experience two weeks ago! But it got the intended reaction, which was awesome! And I'm so glad to be here right now!

Gabrielle: You certainly got a very strong reaction from the crowd and... Well, it's all a brand new experience here! What’s it feel like to be part of this? I mean, I’m sure you’d agree Future Shock and SVW have very different vibes.

Carys: I've been needing a new experience for a long time. Don't get that incorrect, I love SVW. I am grateful for all the opportunities it presented me with and how accommodating they were at various points of my transition. To have that support was brilliant, as it was from those I worked. The vibes are incredibly different, you're right. If anything, Future Shock reminds me of SVW as it was when it began as the feeder for the company Alexander Stryfe ran at the time. Full of hope and determination to prove that theres a place for themselves one day.

Gabrielle: Now, I think the biggest question on the minds of fans right now is, what brought you to Future Shock? You’ve been in the ring for most of a decade professionally, have held top titles and tag titles too, not to mention a SVW Hall of Famer. Why Future Shock as opposed to going to FFW?

Carys: I wanted to be part of Future Shock from day one; when I was quietly transitioning and Twitter thought my father was just a giant homophobe. But there were criteria that I had to meet, and I obviously could not. Like my testosterone levels being too high. Its only in the last couple of years that they've been at acceptable levels for a female competitor. It's...strange to have those listed off, especially when one of them was under a different name. Yes, they exist and yes I'm proud of them so absolutely that question is entirely fair. However...in Future Shock I can have matches that I won't get on the main roster. And for all my experience at this level...I still have a lot of learning to do. Where better to do it than here?

Gabrielle: And are there any particular members of the roster you have your eye on? Whether it be wanting to get in the ring with them or just getting to know them better?

Carys: Am I allowed to say all of them? No? Well, tough. As it stands I just cannot wait to get into that ring and experience these women. Honestly I'm willing to wrestle anyone who will take me on. I'm sure there's a few of those!

Gabrielle: Do you feel like you have a shadow over you considering how successful your sisters have been here in this company, particularly Jo and Valerie?

Carys: Short answer is no. As you yourself stated, I've been doing this for ten years, give or take a few months. In that time I've worked both with and without them. I earned my stripes as not just their sister, but a wrestler in my right. As a teenager. I'm proud of them and their successes and of course want to be successful as they have been. But. And it's a big but. I already know I'm not them, and anyone who wants to say I am, needs to go do some homework.

Gabrielle: What kind of response did you get from them after they found out you were joining Future Shock?

Carys: They were happy for me, as I expected. Erica started jumping around and shouting some unintelligible nonsense, as she does. Jo was muted about it, which given what shes dealt with in the last few months. Valerie...well, I can quote you what she said.

She clears her throat.

Carys (imitating Valerie): Someone old and new for dad to torture! Hooray!

Gabrielle explodes in laughter before getting right back on track.

Gabrielle: Well Carys, it’s a pleasure to have you here as the newest Prospect and I’m sure I speak for many when I say we look forward to seeing you do what you do best out there!

The two best friends engage in a big hug before the show cuts away again.

Most Promising Prospect

The next shot we see is a close up of the plaque for the “Most Promising New Prospect of 2019” in the hands of the woman who won it, Vivi Robichaud. Adam shakes her hand after she takes it from him.

Adam: Congratulations, Vivi. Well deserved and well earned. To be totally honest with you, of all the polls we had, this one was the only one that was really lopsided in someone’s favor. It’s obvious that the Future Shock fans have a great deal of respect for you.

Vivi: It is, and I’m grateful that the the fans have taken me into their hearts since I’ve been in Future Shock. To win this, especially given who I was nominated alongside… it’s a true honor.

Adam: When I announced it on Twitter, you sounded pretty surprised that you won the award. I can’t imagine why. What made you think you didn’t deserve it?

Vivi: Anyone who’s familiar with my career knows that I spent most of it as someone who wasn’t particularly likable. But I decided that I didn’t want to be that person anymore, and I’ve spent the last few months working on it. So it still comes as a surprise to me when I get positive reactions, especially when it’s something like this.

Adam: It’s a great honor won by some of the most talented Prospects we’ve had. Last year, it was won by a woman I know you aren’t a fan of, Elizabeth Lannister.  And I’d say she lived up to the award in the year that followed.

Vivi: She certainly did. While I’ve disliked Elizabeth Lannister for years now, that doesn’t take away from the fact that she’s one of the most ruthlessly talented women on the Future Shock roster. But while she was very successful in the last year, I aim to be even more successful.

Adam: Speaking of her, I told you also on Twitter that you had two matches to get back into contention for the Future Shock Championship. One was against Luna, and the other against Elizabeth. I understand you are back at 100%?

Vivi: As of Friday, yes, I’m officially cleared for competition again. I’m happy to report that the tearing and other damage that was present has now healed, and I’m ready to return to the ring.

Adam: Well then, the gauntlet for you starts next Future Shock. It’ll be you facing Elizabeth in the main event. A win there puts you against Luna at a later date, and a win there….well you get to climb back into the ring at 100% this time against the champion, Tara Cortez.

Vivi: And I assure you - and Tara - that I WILL face her for her Future Shock Championship again. And this time? My body will not give out on me like it did at Malice.

Adam: I’m glad you’re all healed up, and looking to pick up where you left off. Congratulations on the award, and good luck next show!

Vivi: Thank you, Adam. I’m looking forward to what the future holds for me. See you next show.

As he shakes her hand again, that’s when the show cuts away elsewhere inside the Future Shock Arena.

Future Shock returns from the commercial break back to the ring, and finds the “Wildcat” front and center with her microphone in hand.

Gaby: The following contest is scheduled for one fall to a finish.

Zack: We’re about to see what happens when wealth meets magic, Steph. You couldn’t find two Prospects more opposite than the ones we are about to see.

Steph: Let’s watch how it comes down though, Zack. I’m interested in seeing where it all plays out in the end and I know this arena feels the same way and those watching at home.

The lights go out completely as sisters are doing it for themselves starts to play. A lightning effect of white and blue pyrotechnics erupt, lighting up the stage for a second at a time. In each of the flashes the silhouette of three female figures standing in a line on the stage.

We said, "Sisters are doin' it for themselves"
Standin' on their own two feet
And ringin' on their own bells
We said, "Sisters are doin' it for themselves"

The pyrotechnics finish and as the lights come back up a sound like thunder plays on top of the music track and a puff of smoke comes from the bottom of the stage, still hiding the female figures for a moment. The smoke clears to reveal the three Stone sisters; Melody, Madyson and Mikayla standing hand in hand with their heads raised, looking towards the ceiling.

Now this is a song to celebrate
The conscious liberation of the female state
Mothers, daughters and their daughters too, oh yeah
Woman to woman, we're singin' with you

Gaby: Introducing alongside Melody and Madyson of Trinity, this is……..MIKAYLA STONE!!

They unlink their hands and take off to the ring at a run and all jump up onto the apron at the same time. Melody and Madyson stand at a corner each, while Mikayla jumps up to sit on the top rope; all facing out towards the crowd. The two older sisters climb through the ropes while Mikayla stands up on the top rope and then backflips into the ring to land between them with a smirk. The three make their way to the corner and share some hushed words as the music comes to an end.

Zack: Mikayla Stone has shown she has all kinds of potential in her last couple outings, and she can really shine here against someone who is at about the same experience level as she is.

Steph: True enough but that’s in a fight that’s entirely even and you know Cait takes a certain level of... Shall we all it pragmatism?

The opening of Madonna’s “Material Girl” begins playing as Cait Flanagan steps out onto the ramp. With a wink, she licks her index finger and touches it to the ground and as she passes the spot, flames shoot up behind her. She reaches into her tights and pulls out a wad of cash, fanning it out for the crowd to see.

She tousles her hair and fans herself with the money, then shrugs and tosses it behind her, letting it get eaten up by the flames. Cait puts her hand up to her mouth as she seems to realize what she’s done, but then she shrugs her shoulders and cackles.

You know that we are living in a material world, and I am a material girl…

Still laughing, Cait skips the rest of the way down to the ring, tossing her hair over her shoulder and blowing mocking kisses to the men in the audience. She ascends the steps and ducks through the ropes, winking at the referee.

Gaby: From Belfast, Northern Ireland, she is The Million Dollar Baby, Cait! Flanagan!

She seems to thank Gaby for her introduction and goes to her corner, laying across the turnbuckle and giving Mikayla a cheeky little wave as she waits for things to get started.

Zack: My broadcast partner may have an affinity for her, but she’s among the few. Cait Flanagan stole a win at Malice against Nora Harris, but there’ll be payback on Nora’s mind as they meet again at Wipeout inside fifteen feet of steel.

Steph: She got me my job Zack, how can I be anything but grateful!? Nora does await but tonight is a Stone Sister before that.

Referee Melinda Davis checks both women, and calls for the bell. While Mikayla heads for the center, Cait has propped up across the corner stretched out looking at her nails. As soon as she sees Mikayla heading for her, she hops back down to the canvas with a grin on her face. They meet in the center as Cait once more looks at her nails, seemingly disinterested in Mikayla...at least until she pokes her in the eye with one of her manicured fingers. The redhead quickly pulls her into a side headlock, and snaps her over to the mat. She gets back to her feet, and leans down to tell Mikayla to try and keep up with her.

Steph: Flanagan has NO end of confidence here... And like I said. Pragmatism. You ever had a stiletto nail to the eye, Zack? Oof.

Zack: Can’t say that I have, and that’s not a streak I look to break anytime soon.

Mikayla gets back to her feet, a slight look of annoyance on her face. Her sisters cheer her on as the pair lock up in the center. Cait pushes her back to the ropes, and actually gives her a clean break when asked. Even Mikayla seems a little surprised until Cait shoves her through the ropes out onto the apron with another grin on her face. Stone slaps the mat, and gets back to her feet as Cait waves to Steph in the booth. When she turns back around, Mikayla has already returned to the ring and mows her down with a running clothesline. The redhead starts get up, and eats another clothesline from the witch. Cait tries to rise a third time before Mikayla launches into a Thesz press, and begins drilling her with right hands to the side of her head. The Boston crowd eats it up before Stone pulls her back to her feet, and puts her down again with a short arm clothesline.

Zack: I think Mikayla got a little tired of being taken lightly by Future Shock’s Million Dollar Baby, and is voicing her dissent in the strongest terms possible!

Steph: Zack, that is not dissent, that is an outright uproar with that Thesz press and back down from the clothesline.

Cait barely got to her feet before Mikaya fired her into the far corner back first. The redhead hit the turnbuckles just as Stone followed her in with a handspring back elbow to the jaw. Flanagan stumbled out, and Mikayla darted past her with a running neckbreaker. Stone spun around as she got to her feet, telling Cait to try to keep up this time. She pulled her by the head to her feet, and shoved her backwards into the corner. Mikayla followed her in with a running knee to the ribs, and then shoved her out of the corner. Flanagan stumbled forward as Mikayla hopped up onto the second turnbuckle from the inside. When the redhead turned to face her, the witch blasted her with a missile dropkick and then went for the cover.

Zack: There’s two kinds of people when it comes to Cait, Steph. Those who like her and those who want to knock her out...and I think Mikayla’s firmly in the second camp!

ONE!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Flanagan kicked out at two, and shoved Mikayla off the cover. As soon as the witch was back to her feet, Cait rolled out under the bottom rope to get away from her. Madyson and Melody cheer their sister as Cait glanced up the ramp to see her manager making his way to the ring.

Steph: Mikayla Stone. This is color commentary to Mikalya Stone. Your 99 Problems are here.

It brought a smile to her face, but only for a second. When she turned back to the ring, Mikayla was already in motion with a baseball slide to the chest that sent Cait practically into Kyle’s arms. She didn’t fall though as he kept her on her feet. Stone grabbed her to pull her away from him, and went to whip her into the apron. But Cait reversed it, and sent her instead. The brunette struck the edge of the ring chest first, only to be snatched up by Cait for a release German suplex on the floor. The redhead sat up, trying to collect herself as Kyle helped her to her feet and shared some words with her.

Zack: I’m surprised Kilmeade didn’t come out with her at the start, but no time like the present. Cait’s finally gotten herself a moment of relief from Mikayla, but for how long?

Steph: You know... There has to be a reason behind that, but I can’t put my finger on why. Either way Kyle is giving her some assurance or advice, one of the two but Mikalya’s ready for more... Or will be... In a sec. Give her a moment she’s only one witch.

As the witch was starting to get up, Cait grabbed her head and bounced it off the apron. She tossed her back inside under the bottom rope, and followed in after her. Mikayla was trying to get her senses together as Cait used a scissor kick to the back of her head to keep her down. The redhead’s confidence was clearly starting to return. She hooked her head into a bulldog, only to drive it into the middle turnbuckle. As Stone collapsed to her knees against it, Cait pulled her up from behind and dropped her with a reverse DDT before floating over her to make the cover.

Zack: Cait’s confidence has returned with a vengeance, and we’re already seeing some different offense than what we saw against Nora.

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOO!!

T-NOPE!!

The witch kicked out after the two, and Cait punished her for it by grabbing her head and repeatedly spiking it into the mat when she tried to rise. The redhead got back to her feet, and used a double stomp to her stomach as she passed over her.

Steph: One suspects she’s always learning, Zack. Constantly, constantly building herself. That double stomp was nasty.

With her sisters trying to rally the crowd, Mikayla began to get up again. When Cait went to grab her, the baby witch caught her with a shot to the stomach to stop her for a second. Two more of those shots landed before Mikaya was back up, and used an inverted atomic drop to stagger the redhead. She took off past her towards the ropes, and used them to springboard herself into a tornado DDT that spiked Cait on top of her head. The crowd came to its feet as Stone went for the cover with a hook of the leg.

Steph: Mikayla with that Tornado DDT and Flanagan stood on her head for a second there!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

TH-NO!

Cait kicked out before the three, and Mikayla rose to her feet. Her sisters were pounding the mat, and had the crowd solidly behind the baby of the Stone girls. She left her feet with a cheerleader leg drop across Cait’s chest, and jerked her back to her feet.

Zack: Mikayla must have tried out for her school’s cheerleading squad, but they didn’t teach her how to do that!

A few forearms landed upside Cait’s head before Mikayla whipped her across for the ride. Flanagan rebounded into a spinebuster from the baby witch. She popped back to her feet, and took off towards the ropes herself this time. Mikayla went into a phoenix splash….only for Cait to get her knees up to make her regret it. Stone dropped to the mat, curled up in pain as Cait rolled away and began to get back to her feet. A smile began to form on her face as she leaned against the ropes, watching Mikayla as she got up again. Flanagan charged towards her and connected with a double knee facebreaker, which seemed to amuse her. She laid back across Mikayla for the cover after that.

Zack: That’s….one of Nora’s favorite moves, HELLO PATELLA! And clearly, Cait has learned it and is firing up Nora already before she even gets out here for the main event.

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THR-NOPE!!

Mikayla kicked out, and Cait sat up. She shook her head, and rose back to her feet. A glance towards Kyle saw him give her some advice before she pulled Mikayla into position for her finishing move.

Steph: Kyle offering more advice, and Cait looking for a goodbye from her home country!

Just as she was about to go for the facebuster, Mikayla drove her back into the nearest corner instead. The brunette popped up and began throwing rights and lefts at Cait’s head and body. The fans roared in approval as Stone whipped her across to the far corner. Cait stopped herself just before she hit the turnbuckles, and Mikayla was right behind her to deliver a codebreaker. It flipped her over face down on the canvas, and Mikayla headed for the top rope.

Zack: Mikayla’s been doing some tape watching, and she wasn’t about to go for what Cait had in mind there! Now the question is what’s she planning up there in the high rent district?

Steph: Where in almighty dollar did that come from anyway?

Mikayla watched Cait closely. The redhead didn’t move too fast though, and that was when Kyle headed towards her corner. He didn’t get far before the apron somehow began flapping as though it were caught in a gale force wind against him. Kyle tried to get away from it before Mikayla launched herself into a meteora when Cait was back to her feet, and drove her down onto the mat before hooking both legs for a tight rollup!

Zack: That ring apron’s flapping like a sheet, and Mikayla just landed a meteora! I think Cait’s done!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOO!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NOPE!!

Flanagan just managed to get her shoulder off the mat in time. Kyle moved away from the apron, and it started to calm down as he glanced towards Madyson and Melody. Both of them were watching him with a glare as Mikayla headed for the ropes.

Steph: Huh. Kyle’s looking like he has something planned but is questioning his own luck here, especially with the other two Stone sisters ready for him.

Cait was slow to get back to her feet before Mikayla launched herself into a handspring into a stunner that bounced the redhead off the mat. She dove across her with a hook of both legs as the referee dropped to count.

Zack: SMOKE AND MIRRORS!!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Davis called for the bell as Mikayla rolled off the cover. Both her sisters stormed the ring, and helped her to her feet to congratulate her.

Gaby: Here’s your winner by pinfall………….MIKAYLA STONE!!!

Steph: A strong effort by Flanagan but as the song goes, the sisters... Or in this case sister, did it for herself.

Kyle pulled his client out of the ring, and knelt down beside her. Melody and Madyson both hugged their baby sister, who had a huge smile on her face when the referee raised hand.

Zack: Mikayla picks up her first win in Future Shock, and you can tell her sisters are as happy about it as she is right now. I think Cait’s overconfidence was her undoing tonight.

Steph: I mean that’s just like, your opinion man.

As the fans show Mikayla plenty of love and support along with her older sisters, that’s when the show headed elsewhere inside the arena.

A Singular Test

The next shot takes us backstage, and finds Christian with his newest tag team he manages in Future Shock, that being both halves of Target Acquired.

Christian: I got some news for you both. Seems to be a trend this week, doesn’t it? I just left Adam’s office, and he’s got a match for you. Well one of you.

He glances between them for a moment.

Christian: It’s a singles match, and since Alessandra is about to start competing on her own in my tournament, I figured it might be best to give her the chance to get her ready for that. I hope that’s alright with you, Nadia.

Nadia: That is perfectly alright with me. I would not wish to stand in Alessandra’s way in any form, quite the opposite. I will be cheering her on not only in this match, but in the tournament also.

Alessandra: A singles match would be a good way to prepare for the tournament. Plus any ring time is good time well spent I think.

Christian: As a matter of fact, it’s against one half of the Future Shock Tag Champions. So you got Valerie McKinley one on one next show. How’s that sound?

Alessandra: That is quite the steep learning curve. I have studied the Tag Champions in some of the tapes I have been watching, and despite some of their more….unsavoury methods, they are quite the talented duo.

Christian: Well don’t worry about her manager. I’ll be there with you, and I have no problem putting him in his place if the need arises. But I suspect he may be gun shy about that for a while after what Nora did to him last time.

Alessandra: That thought did cross my mind. Their manager seems to be unafraid of getting hands on. Having you there just in case would allow me to focus on what I should be doing much better.

Nadia: I think that Nora might have taught him a lesson, at least for a little while. Leopards do not usually change their spots however.

Christian: I’ll keep a close eye on the guy, I promise. You focus on Valerie. She may be a little sore by that point, since she’ll have just had a match 3 days prior at Relentless after all.

Alessandra: Ahhh yes. I have seen the advertisements and build up for that match. I think the Future Shock Tag Champions are in for quite the long night that night.

Christian: Only to be compounded a few nights later, at least in Valerie’s case.

He gives her a wink as a graphic pops up for the advertised match, and then the show cuts elsewhere inside the arena.

Golden Opportunities

Sara Wilkins is the next face we see as she’s found in front of the Future Shock logo backstage at the interview position. Joining her is the Director of Future Shock Adam Grant and his fiance, Missy.

Sara: Adam, you got decked on the last show when you were trying to calm down Rhea Laskaris, who hasn’t been seen in Future Shock in some time. How are you feeling?

Adam: Nothing a trip to the dentist and a few painkillers didn’t fix up in a few days. Some have suggested that I was trying to provoke her. I wasn’t, I was trying to calm her down. There was no point in assaulting my security detail. Perhaps I shouldn’t be surprised, but Kyle’s now trying to get her a manager’s license so she can be on hand every time he goes to ringside.

Sara: Missy, I’m sure you weren’t happy at all last Future Shock, especially considering all the past issues you have had with the “Modern Day Amazon” as she wreaked havoc two weeks ago.

Missy: That’s an understatement and a half. Put it this way, if I’d caught up to her that night, she’d have needed more than a dentist. Kyle has whatever happens to him coming, since he brings it on himself. Adam did nothing wrong.

He took a deep breath, and nudged Sara.

Adam: But look, Sara, that isn’t what I wanted to talk about. I had a couple announcements to make.

Sara: Oh, I know, Go right ahead.

Adam: First of all, let’s go with the one I already announced. On June 18th, Future Shock will be holding its next Pay Per View, Wipeout. On that show, I have put together a number one contender match for the Future Shock Championship. The 2019 Prospect of the Year who had a tremendous run with the Aspire Championship, Lydia Charisma, will go one on one with a Prospect who hasn’t been defeated in singles matches since she arrived….Cassandra Steen. I know she’s not popular, but after Tara, she’s got the longest streak here. And it wouldn’t be fair to give Tara an opportunity and not Cassandra.

Sara nodded, and turned her attention to the brunette next to him.

Sara: How do you feel about that decision? Your twin sister is getting an opportunity you never got while you were here.

Missy’s response didn’t come immediately as she seemed to be considering her answer.

Missy: Well, when you think about it, I wasn’t actually in Future Shock overly long. I pretty much flew threw to graduation, so there wasn’t much chance for me to have a chance at it. As for how I feel about Cassandra getting the opportunity, her record can’t be disputed….kinda. And Adam is nothing but fair. If he thinks she deserves a shot, she does.

Adam: If she can keep her streak going through Lydia, there’s no one who deserves a shot anymore than her at this point. Now onto the other news…

Sara: About the tag teams?

Adam: Bingo! I have brought in a whole host of new tag teams to Future Shock in the last few weeks. Some were brought in, some formed together while they were here. Each of them has been impressive in their own ways. And that made the decision over who should be part of this #1 contender match a little difficult. But right here on the next Future Shock, we are going to have a #1 contender match for the Future Shock Tag Titles. Lacey and Valerie will want to watch close that night, for sure. In one carner, you are going to have Su Wakuda and Jennifer Song of the Raging Dragons…

Sara: They did do very well in their debut not too long ago….

Adam: And….despite how people feel about them, their opponents do have a claim to wanting to be considered. That’s why the Raging Dragons are gonna face Luna and Anna Cortez next show for a shot at the tag titles.

Sara: Wow, you’re really running the risk that the Cortez Sisters can have even more gold in Future Shock.

Adam: Like I said, I know they aren’t popular. But I can’t make matches based on popularity contests. Luna and Anna will have to go through the Raging Dragons if they want that shot though, and I think that’s going to be a tall order for either team in a couple weeks.

Missy: If you booked matches based on popularity, the Gold Standard would never get to compete! I think we all can guess pretty well who the masses are going to be supporting in that match though, and I doubt it will be the Cortez sisters.

Adam: And whoever wins that match will get their shot at the tag titles on the very next edition of Future Shock. Valerie and Lacey are long overdue for some challengers to those tag titles, and the fact they haven’t had them is not their fault. I had to rebuild this division, and I think I have done that pretty well. They will meet one of these two teams on the next show after that tag match, and I don’t envy them in either case.

Missy: They’re definitely going to have their work cut out for them. The Raging Dragons were very impressive in their debut, and as much as I dislike the Cortez sisters, the have the same manager as me, so I know how well prepared they will be. I don’t think there’s enough tricks in Kyle’s arsenal that will be able to counter either of those teams.

Sara: Well there’s the latest from the Director himself. A #1 contender tag match is now set for next Future Shock as the Cortez Sisters meet the Raging Dragons. Also Lydia and Cassandra will clash at Wipeout for a shot at the Future Shock Championship! Don’t move a muscle, fans, because the main event between Katie Keller and Nora Harris is coming up next!

A graphic shows the two matches just announced officially before Future Shock takes it’s last commercial break of the night.

The bell sounds a few times as the show returns from the commercial break, as the “Wildcat” gets back into the ring one last time for the evening.

Gaby: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is your Future Shock main event of the evening!

Zack: I have a feeling we’re about to see a clinic unfold, Steph. Katie Keller is as technically sound as they come, Nora’s sound plus she has some power in that tiny frame. That’s a by-product of hitting the gym with Lydia, I’m sure.

Steph: I’d go as far as saying that Nora’s power was even before that given how impressive as she is. Still... This really will be quite a fight. Technique and experience, technique and power? Let’s not waste a second more.

I won’t give up, no I won’t give in
Till I reach the end
And then I’ll start again
No I won't leave
I wanna try everything
I wanna try even though I could fail

Gaby: From Chicago Illinois, weighing in tonight at 103 pounds... she is Nora Harris!

The bouncy music of Shakira's Try Anything plays and out comes Nora, bouncing on the toes of her boots as she waves to the fans and then she cartwheels into the aisle before she sprints down to the ring, slides under the bottom rope and pops up to wave at the fans again.

I won’t give up, no I won’t give in
Till I reach the end
And then I’ll start again
No I won't leave
I wanna try everything
I wanna try even though I could fail

She smiles at the referee and respectfully waits for the start of the match.

Zack: The last time we saw Nora on the last Future Shock when she put the everlovin’ beatdown on Kyle Kilmeade, setting off the Gold Standard and a pissed off Amazon! I think we can safely say her challenge tonight will prove to be more difficult.

Steph: I dunno I heard Kyle has a mean rabbit punch once... Ehem. Anyway, you are right there Zack. I suspect Keller is especially coming in to prove something.

I'm on the battlefield
Like, oh my God (ooh la la)
Knocking soldiers down
Like house of cards (ooh la la)
I'm a one woman army (ooh la la)
Yes, I'm a one woman army
(ooh la la, ooh la la, ooh la la)

"One Woman Army" by Porcelain Black stalls out as a bang like a gunshot rings out and Katie Keller steps out from behind the curtain and surveys the crowd before settling her gaze on the ring in front of her.

I pull up in a matte black super car
Like Batman, yeah
No bodyguard
I'm Gangnam Styling on the bar
I got it, I bring all the boys to the yard
If you see me at the club in Hollywood
You know I bring that Detroit hood
You like it, and you feelin' good
You know that you want it
You know that you would

Gaby: Making her way to the ring, from Silicon Valley California, weighing in at 160 pounds... Katie KELLER!

Let's rush tonight
The music is still playin'
So get up and fight
You know that you want it
You know that you would

Katie heads down the ramp, slapping the odd hand as she goes. Once she reaches the ring, she slides in beneath the ropes and pops up to her feet in the center of the ring.

I'm on the battlefield
Like, oh my God (ooh la la)
Knocking soldiers down
Like house of cards (ooh la la)
I'm a one woman army (ooh la la)
Yes, I'm a one woman army
(ooh la la, ooh la la, ooh la la)

She throws up a fist into the air to get the crowd going as her theme song fades off and she loosens up against the ropes in preparation for her match.

Zack: Katie here is just coming off a win over newcomer Arabella Townshend, who we saw a little earlier. She says she’s becoming more about self-focused, and so far...it’s worked for her.

Steph: Sometimes you gotta just cut the world off, Zack. No one is gonna give you what you think you deserve and Keller’s been around the block enough times to know that.

Referee Melinda Davis calls for the bell after she checks both of the girls, and the pair meet in the center. Nora offers the veteran a handshake, only for it to get slapped away before they lock up in the center of the ring. Nora doesn’t have much trouble pushing Katie back into the ropes, and quickly gives a break when the referee calls for it. When she steps back though, Katie catches her with a kick in the gut before shoving her a short distance into the ropes before driving a knee into her lower back. Keller pushes her against them with one hand, and fires off a few punches to her lower back and kidneys. As Nora backs away in pain, Keller scoops her up for a backbreaker across her knee.

Zack: This offensive strategy must make you feel a little proud, Steph. Katie’s trying to weaken Nora’s back, and that’s a great way to negate her power.

Steph: They ignore it, Zack. They ignore it, they balk at it, they decide it won’t be that bad, but as wrestlers we do so many landings on the back and can end up on it. Why not hasten the process as Katie is showing.

When Nora tried to get to all fours, Katie began clubbing her back with both hands to try to pound her back to the mat. A bounce off the near side saw her connect with a knee drop there as well. Harris rolled to her side, and held a hand against her back in pain. Katie watched the effects of her attack for just a second before planting her knee on Nora’s lower back and applying a Boston crab at the same time. Davis dropped down in front of Nora to see if she wanted to stop the match, but got no such indication.

Zack: That’s a slightly modified but perhaps even more effective version of the Boston Crab, Steph. Katie’s kneeling into Nora’s back to give her that much more pressure.

Steph: I know Nora trains hard enough that she can take it... But not for any advanced amount of time. She’s gonna want for those ropes... And fast.

Katie told her to tap out, but Nora didn’t listen as she tried to reach for the ropes that were not far away. She stretched her arm out, but was coming up short before using her hands to try to push her towards them. But with Katie’s knee in her back, that proved to be very difficult. She finally managed to reach the rope though. Davis called for the break before Katie released at the three count. A few well placed stomps to Nora’s back followed that before Katie moved below her, grabbed her feet, and applied a gorilla clutch to bend Nora’s body in the opposite direction.

Steph: Oof. I dunno where Keller picked up that move but it is looking unpleasant the way she’s bending Harris’s body that way.

Zack: As unpleasant as it looks, it no doubt feels a hundred times worse for the “Li’l Pixie Pump” as she’s trying to find ropes any and everywhere.

Nora clutched her bent back with one hand, and the referee checked again to see if she wanted to stop the match. Another clear “NO” came from Harris as Katie held her up by the legs in the clutch. The fans started getting the Pixie as she pushed up on her hands, and tried to walk them towards the nearest set of ropes. Katie let her get almost there, and then dragged her back a few steps. Nora dropped back to the canvas with a grimace on her  clearly pained face.

Zack: This is about the most focused attack I’ve seen out of Katie since she arrived. Everything has been aimed at one target, Nora’s back. And it looks like she wants to make the Pixie tap.

Steph: I think so as well, Zack. We might see a lock-in version of that Royal Butterfly.

With the fans getting louder now, Nora pushed up on her hands again with her teeth gritted and propelled herself to the nearest ropes. Before Katie could pull her away, Nora grabbed the bottom rope to get the break. Harris rolled out onto the apron under the bottom rope before Katie went to get her. She reached down over the top rope to get Nora up, but Harris surprised her by grabbing her head and dropping down to the floor. Keller’s neck snapped over the top rope, sending her backwards coughing as Nora slid back into the ring. Harris clutched her back in pain, but gritted her teeth and charged forward with a running high knee to Keller’s back. It propelled the veteran forward before Nora spun her around, and delivered a three-quarter facelock neckbreaker.

Steph: Ah, man I love a good cutter, Zack. Cutter. Ace Crusher. Tomorrow’s neck pain. Whatever you wanna call it!

Zack: It’s damn effective no matter what name you give it! And if her back wasn’t in the shape it is, I think we’d have seen a cover at this point.

She couldn’t follow up immediately though, thanks to her back still hurting from Katie’s offense earlier in the match. When the veteran started to get up, Nora fired her into the far corner and followed her in with a corner clothesline. A jumping knee to the side of her head put her down to a seat against the turnbuckles. Nora rallied the crowd before moving to the next corner and coming back with a running knee into the side of Katie’s head. It snapped her head back on impact before Nora dragged her away from the ropes, and went for a cover.

Zack: Nora’s looking for some knockout shots here, and she may have found one of the best with that running knee!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

T-NOPE!!

Katie’s shoulder rolled off the mat, and Nora slowly got back to her feet. Her hand pressed against her back again as she stood up straight, and pulled Katie up with her. She pulled her into an inverted headlock that she transitioned into a discus elbow smash to the back of her head.

Steph: Keller has decided on the back but for Nora it has all been a focus on rattling Katie’s brain in her skull and man that one had to hurt.

Katie rolled towards the ropes trying to get away for a moment, but Nora pulled her back into the ring. She got her to her feet, and wrapped her arms around the ropes before leaning back to deliver a Mongolian chop to her chest. It resonated through the arena before Nora leaned back, and connected with a second one. Katie nearly doubled over on that shot, and Nora gritted through the pain when she followed up with a gutwrench suplex. The pain was evident on Nora’s face on what the move caused to her back, but she gritted her teeth as Katie started to get up again in a daze. Nora pulled her arm between her legs, and planted her with pump handle powerbomb! She rolled through for the cover as Davis dropped to count.

Steph: Pumphandle powerbomb and did you see the way the back of the neck snapped off that landing and the way her head bounced!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOO!!

THREE-NO!!

She rolled off the cover, and slowly got back to her feet. Still favoring her back, she reached down to get Katie up with her. She started to whip her into the corner, but Katie reversed it and sent her instead. Nora’s back hit the turnbuckles, and sent her stumbling forward. Katie grabbed her into an inverted Northern Lights suplex.

Zack: I’ve never seen Katie use that before. I guess you could call that a Southern Lights suplex. I thought this would be a clinic, and it is every bit that and more!

Katie got back to her feet, still more than a little worn down after everything Nora had thrown at her. She pulled her to her feet, and connected with a belly to back suplex backbreaker! It sent Nora into a near fetal position before she dropped down to make the cover.

Steph: That was a beautiful suplex backbreaker but I’m still trying to wrap my head around that Inverted Northern Lights! There’s the pin!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEE-NOPE!!

Nora barely got her shoulder up off the mat in time before the three came down, Katie rolled away from her, and sat up to collect herself. A couple deep breaths followed before she got back to her feet. She pulled Nora up into a front facelock, backed up a few steps, and delivered a snap suplex into the turnbuckles. Nora was heels over head upside down against the corner after that.

Zack: Nora’s not gonna be walking normally for a couple weeks at this rate! Katie is zeroed in on her back, and there’s nothing she’s done that hasn’t tried to make it worse.

Keller headed to the next corner as Nora started to reorient herself by sitting upright. Katie had a smirk on her face as she took off towards her, looking for a running knee of her own. But Nora rolled out of the way, and she ended up driving her knee into the turnbuckle. That stopped her long enough for Nora to get to her feet, and connect with a discus boot across the side of her head. She spun her around and connected with rapid double palm strikes to Katie’s chest followed up with her double knee facebreaker! She dove on top of her for the cover with both legs hooked this time.

Steph: HELLO PATELLA!!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NO!!

Keller barely managed to get her shoulder off the mat in time, and Nora rolled away. She sat up on her knees with a hand against her back, while the crowd was showing her nothing but support.

Zack: You’d think these two had issues with each other, but they don’t. They’re just flat out beating the unholy hell out of one another in this Future Shock main event!

Katie was very slow to get up. But when she did, Nora took off and left her feet with a lot of spinning into her fall away DDT. Keller landed on top of her head before Nora scooped her legs up to stack her into a pin as the referee dropped to count.

Steph: CODE! OF! SILENCE! That’s gotta be it!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Davis called for the bell, and Nora got back to her feet. She pressed one hand against her back, not able to stand up totally straight when she had the other arm lifted by the referee.

Zack: Steph, we have seen one of the hardest hitting matches involving these two women that I think we’ve ever seen! But with a bad back, “Li’l Pixie Pump” came through again!

Gaby: Here’s your winner by pinfall…………….’LI’L PIXIE PUMP’ NORA HARRIS!!

Steph: Nora adds some earned momentum on her way to that cage and if she fights like this at Malice...

Nora smiled at the crowd reaction to her victory, nodding her head as she stepped out through the ropes to the floor. A few of the ringside fans congratulated her as she looked back to Katie in the ring.

Steph: With that barn burner of a main event, that about does it for us tonight but man... This one is gonna stay with me for a while.

Zack: Nora earned this one, no question about it. And if I’m Cait Flanagan, I’d be even more concerned than I was before as we march towards Wipeout!

She headed up the ramp, and raised her arm one more time to a pop from the crowd as Future Shock faded off the air.
