Los Angeles, California

(Our scene opens with a shot of Nevaeh Summers sitting on her couch inside her penthouse. She is currently staring at her tablet, looking over a match in progress. The match in question being Scarborough Fair v.s. KO/TO from last year’s Unstoppable

Next to her is her laptop, it's currently showing an image of what looks like wrestling attire. Attire in a color we've never seen her wear.

With Unstoppable coming up it's not unusual for wrestlers on the roster to unveil new attire. Have a flashy entrance. It's the biggest show of the year and the FFW roster likes to make a big impression. Nevaeh has been spending some time trying to do just that. It’ll be her first Unstoppable wrestling since 2017. She has an idea as to what she wants to do and hopefully she can pull if together.

She’s having to juggle getting her new attire made, an entrance idea she has in mind, while also researching her upcoming opponents. Not to mention figure out the inner workings of a ladder match. It’s been overwhelming for the blonde, but the work has to be done and Nevaeh is the only one who can do it. She feels an extra importance to it this year.

Nevaeh, for a long time, loved the Unstoppable stage. She used to love coming up with some grand entrance for her match and trying to find a cool look to wrestle in. That was of course with a vain mindset of trying to show how much cooler and better she was than everybody else.

Nevaeh also didn’t get to chose her outfits and entrances a few times, Silas had complete control and enforced his power over her. Silas was dictating how Nevaeh would act and perform on those shows, and if she didn’t get the win Nevaeh would really know what it felt like to lose.

Nevaeh put herself in that position, but she wasn’t in it anymore. She didn't like dwelling on the past. Nevaeh was trying not to rethink all of it she had certainly done enough of it over the past year and a half. Though the last year was rough in of itself.

It’s been a long road to get back into FFW. A rocky one at that. Yet here Nevaeh was, a part of Unstoppable yet again and in this Fast Track title ladder match.

The past few weeks she had been very busy getting ready for matches against Caitlyn Storm and Isis Morales. Dealing with those two had Nevaeh focused on anything but this ladder match. But for the past few days Nevaeh has really been digging into past ladder matches like the one she is currently looking at on her tablet.

This could be chalked up to more learning lessons Nevaeh had to learn. She was still determined to be better at dealing with mat wrestlers who could bend her into a pretzel. That was still very much on the agenda. But for right now the big goal was this ladder match.

Nevaeh is using this time to try and learn as much as she can about what a ladder match entails as well as picking up some tactics she might be able to use herself. The pressure of trying to win the Fast Track title was high, but trying to do it in a ladder match was more daunting. Nevaeh had been trying to go about figuring out the way, even explaining recently to Steph Stefano over lunch how she was feeling in regards to the match.

Nevaeh didn’t want to bother Steph, the brunette powerhouse had her own big match at Unstoppable coming up after all. Nevaeh was excited to see what her and Aurora were possibly going to do. Though the tone had Nevaeh abit cautious with how they interacted with one another. She had respect for both women, but they both seemed to want the match. Steph was a grown woman and could take care of herself. And Steph was in constant contact with her, asking if she was ok. Nevaeh figured why not vent to her how she was feeling.

Nevaeh expressed her concerns about trying to win the match. Not just dealing with the ladders themselves, but every combatant as well. Isis stuck out the most, being the biggest and most powerful. But Nevaeh really wasn’t gaining much traction against the Titaness. Two matches, two losses for Nevaeh in their encounters. Isis was gonna be a problem to begin with, but Nevaeh was beginning to wonder what exactly it was gonna take to try and nullify her friend in this match. How she could beat her at all.

Dealing with that was important, as was dealing with Valerie’ McKinley’s scheming mind, Caitlyn’s impeccable striking, Rose Gardner’s determination, and Angelina Fantastica’s agility. Each of these five women were gonna be difficult to deal with. How was Nevaeh gonna keep them down long enough to climb that ladder and secure the Fast Track title? Nevaeh had to have the best gameplan of her career.

Steph, as she was one to do, paid very close attention to what Nevaeh was telling her. It’s why Nevaeh always knew she could turn the newly minted hall of famer. Steph was gonna listen and go about giving her view on things and possible options open to the blonde. Those views had some...interesting and quirky vibes to them, but it all came from the heart with positivity.

Nevaeh has been trying to keep them in mind and figure out a way to implement them. Take in as much information as she could on this type of match, though she still had one more contest to deal with before getting there.

Tara Cortez was no slouch, even if she was annoying. But the Future Shock Champion had her wits about her. Currently undefeated, skilled. Tara, and maybe her two other sisters, were certainly a problem. Add on the setting of Madison Square Garden and the likelihood that Tara wanted to send a message at Nevaeh’s expense and the former FFW Champion was aware she was gonna have her hands full with that young woman as well. Nevaeh had been digesting the film on her, as well as her sisters. Taking in as much as she could. Nevaeh had certainly seen some tendencies and their behavior was...noteworthy. They were triplets, might as well see how much they really were alike just in case she had to fight them all.

All of this was on Nevaeh’s plate, but she was gonna deal with it. This was her journey to navigate and that she planned on doing. Go about beating Tara on the 16th, then head to Unstoppable and try like hell to become Fast Track Champion. Those were the goals Nevaeh set for herself. She wasn’t gonna be told what to do or how to do it by anybody anymore. Nobody was in control of her.Nevaeh had complete control of her life again.

Control. Something everybody guns for. For Nevaeh she felt she had it in her personal life right now. She wa sin charge, though she had to be open. Being in a relationship called for that. Nevaeh was still learning and understanding all that went with sharing yourself with somebody. Kiana made it easy to do that, even after Nevaeh made an ass of herself looking over her paperwork.

Kiana never made it an issue, stressing to Nevaeh that it was in the past and that she forgave her and that they were moving forward. The rest of their trip was great. They spent every night together enjoying dinner, wine, each other. Romance at it’s finest.

It was a sigh of relief for Nevaeh. The last thing she wanted to do was mess this up and run Kiana out of her life. That woman was too special to her. Nevaeh had learned her lesson. She trusted Kiana and was gonna let her handle her business like Kiana let her handle hers. Though Kiana did still show signs of concern about this ladder match

Understandable, Nevaeh was worried as well, but the blonde tried to ease as much of the concern as she could for Kiana. It seemed to go well and Kiana had been keeping busy. Very busy actually. Kiana had undertaken what she called a major deal for her father’s firm. It caused the beautiful Korean to really put in alot of work to wrap up the deal, especially if she planned to take the week of Unstoppable off to come spend it with Nevaeh.

So much work that Nevaeh and Kiana hadn’t gotten to speak as much as they usually had. They texted, but the phone calls were much shorter. Nevaeh wanted to speak to Kiana all the time, but her lady needed to handle her business and Nevaeh was going to allow her to. The lesson from last time had been learned. Nevaeh would just be patient and let Kiana handle her work and support her through it. Eventually when it was done Nevaeh would have Kiana all to herself, but there was going to be a separation from work and pleasure. Nevaeh truly understood how serious KIana’s work was to her, how diligently she went about it.

Nevaeh also had her own work to do. She kept watching the match and grimaced mightily as she watched all four women in that match go tumbling down from the top of the ladders. The punishment they all dished out, as well as received, was remarkable to Nevaeh to see. It’s what they were willing to do to be champions at the end of the night.

Nevaeh was seeing what it was gonna take to win a ladder match, It was showing her how important it was that she needed to be ready for this match, but that was the irony wasn’t it?

Does one ever really get “ready” for a match like this?

Nevaeh had no choice but to try
