Live from the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota
September 10, 2020

The FFW logo flashes across the screen before we see Raven Knight looking up at the sign outside of a local tattoo parlor. A smirk covers her face as she pushes through the door to go inside before “Out for Blood” by Sum 41 starts to play.

Zero chances, no way out
No solutions, give in now
There's no point resisting, there's nobody listening

As she walks through, there’s two tattoo artists waiting as they watch television on a big screen. They see Scarlett & Emma of Chaotic Temptation heading towards the ring, Kelly Kincaid nailing her cyclorama from the top rope, Valerie McKinley and Kyle stepping out of a limo, and Abigail Lindsay propped up on her elbow looking down at her opponent.

All that we have is just slipping away
And I don't believe that it's gonna be okay
You can't stop the bleeding, it's almost too late
You're leaving us all the behind with hell to pay

The two artists look up at Raven before one of them offers a chair to her. She strolls over and makes herself comfortable, and starts telling him what she’s looking for. He shows her some of his work, while his partner is still watching the monitor.

Silence, they don't hear you calling
The further down you fall
No, they're not there at all
'Cause they're already gone

The next shot shows Valentina Lozano admiring her Global Wars medals, Luci heading into the arena with her husband behind her, Lacey emerging from underneath the stage at Unstoppable 10, Jordan Majors counting stacks of money with a grin, and Tara Cortez standing in front of a constellation chart with her hands on her hips.

So tell me what's real
'Cause I don't know if I can feel
So tell me what's right
'Cause I don't see the light

As Raven picks out the image she wants, the artist prepares his tools just before we cut to the live show. Thousands of fans roar as they see themselves on television, while the Sum 41 song continues to play throughout the arena. Spotlights flash through the crowd as Kat Grayson heads for the ring.

Zack: Welcome to Velocity, and we are on the last stop to Sin & Sacrifice coming your way only on FFW All Access September 26th! We are live in the Target Center, the home of the very first Unstoppable in FFW history! And thank you for joining us! Dante, tell them about the main event!

Dante: Sure! Valerie McFarlane continues her glory run that no one asked for against a far more dangerous Savannah Star. Hall of Fame or not, Little Red is getting her clock cleaned tonight.

Zack stares at him for a second before shaking his head and continuing.

Zack: We’ll also see Bianca Salvador, who will meet Nevaeh Summers at Sin & Sacrifice, meet one half of the new FFW Unity Tag Champions in Isis Morales! That’ll be hard hitting, to say the least.

Dante: Then Emma Mac is gonna win a match by forfeit tonight, because we all know Nevaeh is probably not here in the Twin Cities to fight.

Zack: Would you stop? Nevaeh IS here tonight, and she’s ready to compete against Emma. I promise you that, so let’s get the show rolling and send it up to Kat Grayson in the ring for our opening match.

Kat: The opening contest of Velocity is scheduled for one fall to a finish.

Zack: This should be an intriguing match since neither one of the two women we are about to see are what you would consider fan favorites. That said, I don’t think they care if they are or not.

Dante: Nor should they! What do the fans do for them other than boo them and treat them shabbily?

Zack: Well they buy rickets, merchandise and All Access, which all goes to paying our salaries. How about that?

“Something New” starts up over the speakers, and the jeers have almost drowned out the music before Brazilian Storm have even arrived (though in fairness, the beginning is pretty quiet). Yellow, green and blue spotlights dance around the arena, while the tron shows images of both halves of the team in action. Suddenly, the music stops and the tron cuts out...only for the sound of crashing thunder to echo loudly through the arena.

Love to hate,
Repeating my mistakes.
But there’s no one left to listen,
No one left to listen.
Take a chance, and fuck the consequence
When there’s no one left to listen,
No one left to listen.

As a curtain of dry ice smoke fills up the entrance stage, the two Brazilian wrestlers walk up to the top of the ramp together, with their manager Kyle Kilmeade right behind them. Once there, they look over the booing crowd with matching smirks on their face before they stop for a pose: Bianca goes to a knee and opens her arms wide in the Witch of the Winds pose, as Mel does her own pose, twirling on her feet and taking a soft dip of a bow, also with her arms open. After a couple of seconds in that pose, Bianca lunges forth and twirls herself, as Mel swings an arm, and the best friends indulge in a loud high-five. Then, side by side, they walk down the entrance ramp, with their manager following them with a lonely round of applause.

Right now! We’re taking control!
Tired of waiting
Tired of waiting for something new!
Right now! We’re taking control!
Tired of waiting
Tired of waiting for something new!

Kat: Introducing first/And their opponents, escorted to the ring by Mel Avilo and Kyle Kilmeade… From Brazil… BIANCA SALVADOR!!!

Instead of going straight to the ring though, the girls walk up to a camera, getting right up to the lens with their mischievous smirks. As Bianca flexes her biceps for the gun show, kissing the bulging muscle, Mel’s smirk becomes a grin as she gives the camera, and the viewers at home, some choice words about their opponents. After that, the best friends roll into the ring and move to opposite turnbuckles, climbing onto the second rope and staring into the booing crowd, only to wave them off and regroup, going to their corner. Bianca sits on the top turnbuckle and Mel docks herself there, as they wait for their match to begin while they strategize, Kyle joining in their conversation.

Zack: Bianca Salvador will be meeting Nevaeh Summers in just over 2 weeks at Sin & Sacrifice only on FFW All Access. But this won’t be any kind of a preparation for that.

Dante: Absolutely right. Isis actually will be showing up for the match. I know she’s in the arena. She’s very hard to miss, Nevaeh appearing is pretty much a crap shoot.

The lights in the arena go out.

Just then as the intro to “Kong at the Gates” by The Misfits blares into the arena, generating a buzz from the crowd.

Kat: Making her way to the ring… representing The Privileged Circle…Hailing from the City Of Angels, Los Angeles, California…standing at 6 foot 6 and weighing two hundred and thirty pounds. She is one half of your reigning FFW Unity Tag Team Champions…The “Titaness of Destruction”…

ISIS MORALES!!!!!!

As the music begins, and the spotlight is beaming on the stage, Isis Morales comes out of the curtain. Wearing the championship belt over her shoulder, Isis makes her way down the aisle in a slow, intimidating pace, the spotlight following her on the way to the ring.

Once she climbs up to the apron of the ring, Isis faces the crowd and looks menacingly at them. She easily steps over the top rope to enter the ring with ease and then walks towards the center of the ring to stand there, soaking up the reaction from the crowd. Isis then stomps her foot down on the mat with force and, instantly, the four corners of the ring shoot out smoke, with a booming sound, mimicking an explosion as she holds her belt in the air. She then lets out a primal roar and then goes over to a corner where she climbs up and holds her belt in the air, yelling back at the crowd at every chance. She then goes toward the opposite turnbuckle and does the same thing after climbing up. Then, as she comes down, Isis takes off her coat and gives it to the ring attendant and gives the belt to the referee. Isis then runs herself across the ropes once to loosen herself up before settling in the corner of the ring as she waits for the match to begin.

Dante: See what I mean? Isis is here to compete tonight, so that’s already putting her a step ahead of Nevaeh.

Zack: Nevaeh is here too, dumbass. I saw her earlier before the show started, so you can stop with that crap anytime you want.

Referee Malcolm Parks made sure neither woman was carrying a weapon, and called for the bell after Kat had gotten out of the ring. Isis moved to the center, and Bianca watched her from the corner for a moment. She finally joined her, looking up to the much taller redhead before raising her hand for a test of strength. Isis looked a little incredulous at the request before Bianca flexed for her, and asked her to see what she’s got. Isis smirked and raised her hand all the way out of Bianca’s reach, allowing the blonde to dive for a single leg takedown. But the powerhouse didn’t budge, and instead began raining fists down on Bianca’s back as she was trying to scoop her leg. Salvador’s head was pressed against Isis’ knee before she stomped the mat, causing Bianca to stumble back holding her face. A boot to the chest sent Bianca into the corner before Isis charged into her with a back elbow, and then leaned against the corner to press her body weight against the trapped blonde.

Zack: The corner is the last place you want to be in the ring with someone like Isis. Bianca’s trapped behind her, and this may end up resembling a bear mauling before it’s said and done.

Dante: I’m sure Bianca can find her way out of it. It’s like climbing a giant beanstalk, like she said on Twitter. Though she looks far better than Jack.

Isis brought her hips out as she held the ropes, and then drove them back into Bianca’s body to knock the wind out of her. She did it a second time before literally just leaning on her to crush her against the corner. The referee told her to let her out, and Isis did just that with a large beal that sent the blonde flying out to the mat. Bianca quickly tried to get up, but ate a running kneelift to the head that staggered her. Morales gave her time to start to stand up again before mowing her down with a scissor kick.

Zack: Every little thing Isis does hurts that much more, thanks to her overwhelming size and power advantage. Keep in mind Bianca is far from underpowered herself.

Dante: She’ll get out of the blocks, don’t worry about that! This is Bianca Salvador we’re talking about here, not some greenhorn they found at the local YMCA.

Morales pulled her back to her feet, and sent her into the far corner this time. Bianca landed back first before the Titaness charged in after her with a big boot to the head in mind. But Salvador ducked out of the way. As isis’ leg cleared the top turnbuckle, she started to pull it back just before the blonde landed a basement dropkick to the back of her knee. It caused the leg to buckle, and Isis to fall down to the mat. Before she could even sit up, Bianca was on top of her and driving the back of her head into the mat with both hands repeatedly like a basketball.

Dante: See what I mean? I told you Bianca would get things under control. Not that I’m taking sides in this, I happen to like both women.

Zack: Anyone who’s ever listened to you knows that already. But you’re right about Bianca, and this is the best idea she could have: keep the Titaness off her feet.

The Brazilian beauty got to her feet, and started landing knee drops into Isis’ head when she tried to get up again. Finally the redhead did get to sit up, and Bianca grabbed her hands to pull her into a straitjacket submission with one knee pressed against her back for added punishment. Salvador leaned back, trying to choke her out as quickly as possible But the massive Unity Champion began shifting her body, and kicked her foot under the bottom rope. Bianca held to a four count before releasing the hold, and driving an elbow into the top of her head.

Zack: I think Isis creates a real problem for Bianca. This is a woman who likes to use her own strength to overpower and pound her opponents, but she’s very limited in that regard against Isis.

Dante: Everyone but Natalya Demidov was limited against Isis in that regard. But Bianca’s faced men before, so she knows how to handle opponents who are bigger than her. Give her some credit!

Salvador hopped back to her feet, making sure to welcome the booing crowd to the gun show. That was until she saw Isis starting to get to her knees. Then she turned around, and clobbered her with a running forward to the side of her head. It wobbled the powerhouse, and Bianca continued the assault when she drilled her with a DDT to the canvas. She immediately went for the cover and used both arms to hook one of her legs in the process.

Dante: Bianca is showing brilliance with this plan of attack, Hudson! Sing her praises!!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Morales shoved her off the cover, and started to sit up again. Bianca couldn’t get up fast enough, and began firing kicks into her spin to try to keep her on the mat. She bounced off the near side, and caught her with a running knee to the back, freezing the redhead up before Salvador took off for the other side. She was going to use another running knee, this time to her face. But Isis caught her leg as she went for it!

Zack: Uh oh! Maybe next time, she’ll wait to welcome everyone to the gun show after she’s got the win! Because the “Typhoon” just got caught in a bear trap!

The powerhouse got back to her feet as Bianca hopped on one foot. She threw a punch or two, trying to get free. But Isis avoided those, and yanked her forward into a leg hook Saito suplex that sent the Brazilian hurtling to the mat. Morales got back to her feet, shaking her head for a moment after all the damage Bianca did. And when the “Typhoon” started to get up again, Isis grabbed her arm and yanked her into a short arm clothesline. But she didn’t let go of her hand, instead pulling her up over her shoulders to drill her with a Samoan drop to the canvas. She rolled over and plunged her hands into Bianca’s chest for the cover as Parks slid into position to make the count.

Zack: Look at those hands, that’s like having two tree trunks sitting on your chest!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Bianca kicked out this time, helped by the fact Isis didn’t hook a leg. The redhead pulled her up by the hair, dragging her back to her feet to pelt her with a forearm to the side of her head. She whipped her chest first into the nearest corner, letting her crash into it before stumbling backward in the waiting grip of Isis, who dropped her with a sidewalk slam.

Dante: I think Bianca needs to hit something big here, and swing this tide back. Isis can do this kind of stuff all night if she has to.

Isis got back to her feet, listening to the fans as Bianca rolled away from her towards the ropes. The redhead went to get her, and leaned down to pull her up again before she caught a palm thrust into the throat. That sent the powerhouse backwards trying to get her breath back as Bianca climbed back to her feet. She headed for the corner, making her way up to the second turnbuckle from the inside. When Isis came forward, Bianca landed a blockbuster that planted her on the mat before the Brazilian beauty made the cover!

Zack: Well you asked for it, and you may have just gotten your wish! A titanic blockbuster has felled the Titaness!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

TH-NOO!!!

Isis rolled her shoulder in time before the three, and Bianca made it back to her feet a couple seconds later. When she saw Isis beginning to get up, she took off for the ropes and came back with a running slap to the back of her head. That only served to irritate Isis though as she got to a vertical base.

Dante: That...might not have been the best idea considering the situation, Bianca! I don’t think I’d want to irritate someone that big!

Bianca started hammering forearms into Isis’ chest before the powerhouse shoved her backwards into the ropes. Salvador bounced forward into a goozle before Isis wasted no time in connecting with a chokeslam! Again, she took a second to try to collect herself before Bianca rolled towards the ropes again. Salvador got to her feet before Isis grabbed her by the hair and drove a headbutt into the back of her head. It stumbled her forward into the ropes, only for the Titaness to scoop her over her shoulders. Bianca sensed the Voyage coming, and immediately started hammering elbows into the side of the Unity Champion’s head. It worked too, and caused Isis to lose her grasp. Bianca countered from that into a sitout facebuster, driving Isis’ face into the mat before Salvador leaned against the bottom rope.

Zack: A facebuster from that height must have felt like falling out of a tree, and landing on your ass when you hit the ground.

Dante: I’ll thank you not to make reference to Bianca’s ass. Don’t you have any kind of professionalism?

Bianca got back to her feet, and hammered the rising Isis with more forearms. She took a deep breath and got underneath her, lifting the powerhouse onto her shoulders in an amazing feat of strength before dropping her with a Death Valley Driver! The massive Unity Champion bounced off the mat before Bianca made the cover, hurrying Parks to make the count.

Zack: That….that was damn impressive! Bianca lifted Isis and drilled her down into the mat! She may have it right here!!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NOO!!!

Isis kicked out just as the three was coming down, and Bianca pounded the mat with her fist. She gave the referee a stare, and pelted Morales with elbows to her head. She pushed Isis to sit up, and applied her straitjacket choke again. But unlike last time, she pushed her foot into the redhead’s back at the same time.

Dante: And there’s her favorite submission right there, ELEGANT DECADENCE!! That may get the job done, Hudson!

The Titaness tried to pull them towards the ropes again, the same way she had earlier. But Bianca was using every muscle in her body practically to try to stop her. The Unity Champion struggled to make it happen, but was slowly starting to make progress. The referee checked with her about stopping the match, and Isis showed no signs she wanted to do that. She moved half an inch further with plenty more room to go as Bianca’s arms were flexing as she pulled back with all her might. Morales’ movements slowed even further to a half after about 30 seconds, and the referee wasn’t getting a response anymore. Parks asked her three more times about stopping, and never got a response before he called for the bell.

Kat: Your winner by submission…………….’THE TYPHOON’ BIANCA SALVADOR!!

Zack: That was something else! Bianca had to use damn near every muscle in her body to keep Isis from escaping before the Titaness lost consciousness!

Dante: That was incredible, and I think Bianca deserves a parade of some variety, don’t you?! Well done!!

Bianca got back to her feet before the referee raised her hand. Kyle and Mel joined her next, congratulating her as she legend over to try to catch her breath.

Zack: That’s the kind of momentum you need heading into Sin & Sacrifice when this woman will face Nevaeh Summers one on one!!

Dante: And that’s only if she bothers showing up! So don’t get your hopes up! Luckily there’ll be other matches in case she doesn’t!

Kyle and Mel hold the ropes open for Bianca as she steps out to the floor, both applauding her as she heads towards the back. The show then cuts to a commercial for Sin & Sacrifice.

Melinda Explains It All

The show cuts backstage, and finds referee Melinda Davis alongside Amber Carano. The official isn’t dressed in her referee’s attire, but in her street clothes.

Amber: This is a first for me, because I’ve never needed to interview one of FFW’s officials. But I have Melinda Davis here, and Miss Davis, I appreciate you joining me. There’s something I wanted us to discuss.

Melinda: Oh, I’m pretty sure I already know what it is. But go ahead and let’s get it out in the open, alright?

Amber: I want us to take a look back at the last edition of Velocity where you were the referee for the match between Luci and Dawn Lohan of the Franchise.

Both of the women turn to the monitor as the show cuts to a clip from the last edition of Velocity 2 weeks ago.

Courtesy of FFW All Access - FFW Velocity - August 27, 2020

Dawn quickly got to her feet, and told the timekeeper to ring the bell. The official went after her, rescinding Dawn’s demand before the Wonderful Franchise member told her she tapped out. Davis yelled at her, telling her she wasn’t the referee for this match. While this happened, Luci rolled Dawn up from behind before the referee dove into position.

Dante: This referee isnt’t doing her job! That was a--WAIT!!

ONE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Davis called for the bell as Dawn sat up with her jaw agape. Luci made it back to her feet, and her hand raised to the delight of the Cleveland crowd.

Dante: SHE JUST FAST COUNTED HER!!

Kat: Your winner by pinfall………………..LUCI!!!

Dawn got back to her feet, getting in the referee’s face about the count as it was clear that Melinda Davis was in a foul mood now. Luci rolled out to the floor, and was joined by her husband.

Zack: I….I’m not sure you’re wrong about that. I think she finally irritated Melinda Davis to the point that she pushed her too far! But….I mean the referee’s decision is final!

Dante: How is that fair?! She wouldn’t call a tap out when she saw it, and now she fast counts Dawn?! This is a travesty of justice!

~ ~ ~

We come back to the live show, returning to Amber and Melinda.

Amber: Was that a fast count in your opinion, Miss Davis?

The referee seems reluctant to answer, but ultimately nods her head. She lets out a long sigh before she continues.

Melinda: It was a fast count. Look, let me tell you something, Amber. I’ve been a referee here since FFW had its first show in June of 2010. I’ve refereed more matches than Dawn Lohan has had in her career, I’d be willing to bet. She got named as guest referee for one match, and she spent most of that match telling ME how to do my job! And I finally just had enough of it! I was sick of listening to her, and I did count that last fall a little faster than I normally do. I lost my professionalism for a moment. I’m human, it happens.

Amber: Do you feel sorry for what you did?

Melinda: Partially. I feel bad that I did something that painted all the referees in a poor light. I’m sorry for whatever damage I inflicted to their image as a whole. But to Dawn? Not at all. If I could rewind time and do it all over again? I’d probably try to hold my temper. But all her complaining to Miss Star got me put on leave from my job. I haven’t officiated a match since, and didn’t even get to go to Australia for Future Shock, which I was looking forward to. I’ll be better next time...if there is a next time.

The referee shook her head, and walked off camera to leave Amber with an inquisitive look on her face before the show fades to commercial.

Kat: The following contest is scheduled for one fall to a finish.

Some like beautiful, perfect and pretty
I see the good in the bad and the ugly.
I need the volume one louder than ten,
Put the pedal to the metal, needle to the red.

Halestorm’s “I Like It Heavy” plays over the speakers, bathing the arena in blue and black lights. From the back emerges Emma Mackenzie, attired as always in her denim shorts and black and blue top. Behind her is manager and husband, Ryan Mackenzie. Together they stand on the stage, at the top of the ramp while the woman takes in the reaction from the crowd.

Kat: On her way to the ring, from Glasgow, Scotland, weighing 135 pounds and accompanied by Ryan Mackenzie, please welcome EMMA MACKENZIEEEEEEEEE!

If the windows ain;t shakin’,
Makin’ my heart race,
If I can’t feel it in my chest I’m in the wrong damn place.
I got a demon in my soul, a voice in my head
Singing “go, go, go”
I can sleep when I’m dead.
There’s a sonic revelation, bringing me to my knees.
And there’s a man down below who needs my sympathy.
I got a ringin’ in my ears, getting ready to burst,
Screaming “hallelujah, motherfucker, take me to church”

The pair begin their walk down the ramp, with Emma moving to the beat of the music. She doesn’t catch any of the hands of fans reaching for her, either because she isn’t entirely aware they’re doing it...or habit. Reaching the bottom, Ryan pulls himself onto the apron while Emma climbs the stairs, and he allows her in.

The song promptly hits its chorus, and a much heavier, harder beat, which the blue-haired wrestler uses to dart across the ring and up onto the top turnbuckle, extending her arms which gets a pop from the crowd. With a grin, she jumps back down, meeting Ryan in her corner. The two discuss something while the music fades out.

Zack: Emma’s fresh off a match with Valerie McKinley this past Saturday on Breaking Point. So I doubt she’s feeling 100% or close to it.

Dante: Well who cares really? She likes her job, so she can take a beating like she does. Luckily for her, she’s probably got this match in the bag. Nevaeh isn’t here or probably checked out when the show started.

As “Rise” by Sixx A.M. we see the arena lights blinking in sync with the lyrics of the music. Nevaeh Summers eventually storms her way onto the stage , fired up, and motioning to the crowd, before stopping at the top of the ramp and looking out at the people. Nevaeh is wearing yellow rimmed sunglasses as well as a white Poisoned by Ivy military jacket with yellow trim. As we keep looking at Nevaeh we see she is wearing yellow colored leather pants running down her leg. The side of each leg is laced up with white colored fabric, showing of her skin. On her feet we see black boots and white kickpads. On the front of each kickpad appears her logo as there is a circle with “NS” in the center of it in Yellow. While “The" scrolls on the top and “Finest” scrolls on the bottom, also in yellow.

Nevaeh looks around the building, nodding her head, as she starts feeling the crowd. “Feel that energy” is what can be heard coming from Nevaeh as she goes about heading down the ramp halfway and begins pointing her left hand out to the crowd and moves it around as if she was conducting them. The crowd moves from left to right, linking arms. Nevaeh then points to the opposite side of the crowd with her right hand, urging that side of the building on the same way, to which they do. Nevaeh lowers her head, her hands still swaying to the crowd till she raises her head up and snaps her arms out to the side.

As Nevaeh strikes her signature pose a row of pyro goes off next to her, starting far out and rushing close to her, before a big unified explosion happens behind her. Nevaeh now lowered her head back down and looked towards the ring and began walking down the ramp with a purpose.

Kat: Making her way to the ring at this time she resides in Los Angeles, California by way of Atlanta, Georgia. She weighs in tonight at 120 pounds. She is Nevaeh Summers!!!

Nevaeh reaches the bottom of the ramp and goes about slapping hands with the fans. Nevaeh now heads to the opposite side and slaps a few more hands before removing her sunglasses and just casually tosses them out towards the crowd. Nevaeh than quickly runs to the ring, sliding in under the bottom rope, and gets to a knee. Nevaeh just looks out for a moment before getting to her feet and shimmies out of her jacket.

Nevaeh then approaches the middle of the ropes facing the hard camera. Nevaeh climbs up them, hooking a leg over the top rope and straddling it. Nevaeh now sits there and looks out to the capacity crowd. The blonde began motioning them to get louder, which they do. She eventually lowers her head and starts motioning her arms as if she's conducting them again. This time we zoom out and capture the front row all around motioning along with her. After a moment Nevaeh snaps her head back and her arms out. Multiple spotlights soon shift down onto her, basking her in the light.

Nevaeh keeps striking the pose till she sees fit. Once she has she gets off the ropes and makes her way to the opposite side of the ring where she puts one foot on the bottom rope and the other on the middle. She bounces on them while looking out to the crowd and stretches her arms out yet again, encouraging them to get louder.

Nevaeh bounces off the ropes and lands on her feet. She starts psyching herself up as she paces back and forth along a corner.

Zack: Now what was it that you were saying about Nevaeh not being here all throughout the show tonight?

Dante: Okay, so she showed up for this one. Are we really sure it’s her and not someone in a blonde fright wig she hired?

Referee Kevin Fisk checks both women for anything untoward as Kat makes her way out of the ring. Happy that neither woman has anything they shouldn’t Fisk calls for the bell to get the match underway. As they both make their way to the centre of the ring the crowd are seemingly split between the two wrestlers. When both reach the middle they lock up in a collar and elbow tie up and within a few moments, Nevaeh starts to get the upper hand pushing Emma back a couple of steps as she does. She clocks the blue haired wrestler with a forearm to the jaw which sends her off balance slightly. Another two follow immediately after the first which push Emma back a couple more steps towards the ropes. Emma attempts to fully recover her balance but before she can fully get her feet beneath her, Nevaeh leaves hers for a standing dropkick to send Mackenzie down to the canvas.

Zack: I’d really appreciate it if you’d let this Nevaeh stuff go. It happened one time in her whole FFW career. You’ve missed shows before.

Dante: Yeah, but not because I was too much of a pansy to show up. If I’m not here, there’s a very good reason. I could have tweaked a ligament due to my rigorous physical exercises.

Summers immediately pulls Emma back up to her feet and straight into another forearm to the side of her head. She keeps firing them one after the other to knock the Scottish wrestler back into the nearest corner. Emma hits the turnbuckles back first and as soon as she does Nevaeh uses a hip toss to bring out of the corner and down to the canvas. The Californian leaves her feet to land a knee drop into Emma’s chest… but gets nothing but canvas as Emma rolls out of the way at the last moment. Nevaeh gives a yell of pain as she rolls onto her side, cradling her knee. Mackenzie gets back up to her feet and takes a second to regroup before she pulls Nevaeh up and grabs her by the back of the head to run her across the ring and use a bulldog to plant her face first on the canvas.

Dante: Do you think she’ll show up at Sin & Sacrifice to face Bianca? Now there’s a match she’ll never show up for if there’s a brain in that bleach blonde head.

Zack: I’d put the mortgage on it that she was going to be there. You nor the fans watching have nothing to worry about there.

Emma takes another moment to shake herself off and then stances herself, watching as Nevaeh gets back to her feet and spins around to face the blue haired Scot. Nevaeh quickly makes her way back towards Emma, but as soon as she is within reaching distance the former Ultraviolence Champion catches her with a right hand to the side of her head which staggers her backwards. A shoulder thrust follows from Mackenzie that knocks Nevaeh back first into the corner, before the blue haired wrestler starts to unload with a series of right and left hands to her head, one after the other. Fisk calls for a break but before he even reaches three, Emma steps back away from Summers for a second, only to step back once the count stops to drive her knee into Nevaeh’s midsection to bend her double and then drives it under her chin to stand her back upright again.

Zack: Nevaeh’s getting treated like a Stretch Armstrong doll except for the fact he’ll recover back to normal a lot sooner than she will.

Dante: If she thinks it’s bad now, she has NO idea how bad Bianca is gonna make it in a couple weeks. Whoo boy!

Grabbing her by the arm, Emma pulls Nevaeh out of the corner and fires her across at speed into the ropes. Summers rebounds off the ropes and Mackenzie catches her and tries to get her into position for a suplex but Nevaeh starts to fire shots into the Scottish wrestler’s ribs forcing her to abandon the attempt. Not entirely deterred, Emma catches Nevaeh around the head and starts to fire knee lifts into her abdomen with the crowd again counting her along. She finishes up with a particularly vicious knee then gets Nevaeh’s around the head to use a DDT to drive her into the canvas. Getting straight back up to her feet, Emma pulls Nevaeh back up with her. Spinning the American around to face away from her, Emma wraps her arms around her waist and locks them. Nevaeh attempts to break her grip by firing elbows backwards towards her body, but before she can do any real damage, Mackenzie dumps her on the canvas once more with a German suplex. She gets into position for a cover as Fisk drops down into place for the count.

Dante: Emma with a nice German suplex. I think mine are a little sharper though.

ONE!!!

TW-NOOOOOOOOOOPE!!!

The count stops before the two is complete as Nevaeh kicks out and pushes Emma off her enough to roll slightly away from her.

Zack: You’ve probably been suplexed, but I don’t believe you ever did one. And Nevaeh is still very much in this match.

Nevaeh rolls towards the ropes and uses them to steady herself as she gets back to her feet, leaving Emma to pull herself up to her knees on the canvas. Nevaeh regains her composure and seeing the blue haired beauty on her knees, takes off towards her, aiming a kick to her head. Emma sees it coming though and ducks her head to the side and catches hold of Nevaeh’s leg. With a sharp tug she sends the American wrestler heavily onto her back with a thud. The blue haired wrestler mounts Nevaeh’s chest and begins to unload rapid fire right hands into the side of her head until Fisk calls for a clean break. Emma delivers another couple of shots and then complies before Fisk gets past a count of two.

Zack: Is it me or is Emma a little bit more vicious tonight? She’s probably still got that match against Valerie in the back of her mind.

Dante: If she is still thinking about it, that’s her problem. The better woman who, and Valerie would beat her in any number of contests besides wrestling anyway.

Emma rolls back up to her feet and pulls Nevaeh back up to hers with her. She makes a move towards firing Nevaeh into the corner but at the last second, Summers plants her feet and instead reverses to pull her into a short-arm clothesline. Keeping a tight grip on the Scot’s arm, Nevaeh pulls her back up and into a second short-arm clothesline. Still keeping hold of her arm, Nevaeh pulls her up for a second time, this time firing her into the corner that Emma had intended to fire her into. Mackenzie hits back first with a thud, and Nevaeh follows her and steps up onto the top rope to deliver an Enziguri into the side of Emma’s head.

Dante: Kicking Emma in the head is the same as kicking a tractor trailer. It doesn’t do much but hurt your foot ultimately.

Zack: I’d have figured you’d be cheering her on since she’s facing Nevaeh, who you constantly demean. But then again, you do that to most everyone.

The Scottish wrestler stumbles forward out of the corner but before she can actually fall to the canvas, Nevaeh catches hold of her and fires a knife edge chop into her chest which sends her back to the turnbuckle. Two more follow before Nevaeh pulls her out and uses a one handed bulldog to plant her face first on the canvas. Emma starts to move towards pushing up, but before she can Nevaeh leaves her feet to land a leg drop across her back to flatten her straight back down again. Nevaeh gets back to her feet but only long enough to roll Emma onto her back before she moves into position for a cover, hooking one of her legs as Fisk gets into position.

Zack: Summers looking to put this match away right now after the leg drop!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

TH-NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Emma gets her shoulder up before the three can come down and Nevaeh rolls back to her knees looking slightly disappointed.

Dante: That was her mistake too. Nevaeh may be a flake and liable to break her commitments, but she ain’t gonna stay down for a leg drop.

With the crowd split fairly evenly between the two women, Nevaeh gets back to her feet and grabs Emma by the head to pull her back up too. She attempts to fire the Scot across into the ropes but the blue haired wrestler manages to plant her feet and instead pulls Summers into a chop to the throat that staggers her backwards and causes her to automatically raise her hands to her throat as she struggles to catch her breath. Emma gets into position beside the blonde and uses a legsweep to send her heavily down to the canvas. Nevaeh rolls onto her side, holding her back slightly as Emma starts to stomp down onto her ribs. The blue haired wrestler aims a stomp towards the American’s head but she just gets canvas as Nevaeh manages to roll herself away and under the bottom rope to the apron.

Dante: Look at Nevaeh already thinking about running away. She’s hiding in the ropes, that’s what wimps do!

Zack: That’s smart! That buys you a little time, and I’m fairly positive I’ve seen your clients do the same thing.

Dante: That’s different, they are my clients. It’s okay for them to do it.

Emma turns to face the ropes where Nevaeh disappeared, just as the blonde springboards off the top rope aiming a diving elbow drop at Emma’s neck. Mackenzie spots it coming at the last second and tries to side step to avoid it, but Nevaeh still manages to catch her with a glancing blow. With both women down, Fisk checks on them both but they both start to move towards getting up. Nevaeh pulls herself up into a seated position first and then gets fully back up to her feet. The blonde watches Emma intently as she starts to get up herself. Nevaeh starts motioning her hands as if she's conducting an orchestra. As Emma gets to her feet Nevaeh quickly throws her arms to the side as she strikes her signature pose. She moves quickly to kick Emma in the gut to bend her double and then grabs her into position to deliver her Snap double underhook DDT to drive Emma’s head into the canvas. The blonde gets into position for a cover quickly and hooks both legs as Fisk drops down to count.

Zack: There’s the GRAND FINALE!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Emma gets her shoulder up just as the three is completed and Fisk is already getting back to his feet to call for the bell.

Kat: Your winner…………….via pinfall……………..NEVAEH SUMMERS!

Dante: Well I’ll be damned! She showed up for the match and actually managed to win it. That’ll probably do her for a while, and Bianca won’t even need her ring gear for Sin & Sacrifice.

Zack: Highly unlikely! I think the “Typhoon” better pack a lunch because it’s likely to be a long night Dallas when these two meet on FFW All Access!

Nevaeh gets back to her feet and smiles as Fisk raises her hand, while Emma rolls out of the ring to her husband on the floor. The crowd shows both women some love before the cameras cut elsewhere.

The Elimination Factor

After a commercial for Sin & Sacrifice only on FFW All Access, Velocity returns to a live shot inside the arena. The crowd is making it very clear they are not happy, especially as the owner of FFW is on the stage.

Samantha: I didn’t come here to address each of you, I’m talking to the millions watching around the world. Sin & Sacrifice is FFW’s second oldest event, and it will take place in 16 nights in Dallas, Texas. On that night, two championships will be on the line when Missy defends the FFW Championship against Unity Champion co-holder Valentina Lozano.

Missy’s name gets a positive response, Valentina less so.

Samantha: And there will be a triple threat match when Mel Avilo defends the Evolution Championship against Casey Atherton and Scarlett Silver. Both Miss Silver and Miss Atherton are owed a title shot, and that’s when they will have it. However, due to the importance of that match, I will be naming Dawn Lohan as the assigned referee for it...and of course, Nevaeh Summers’ match against Bianca Salvador.

The fans don’t like that decision much either, and the boos only grow as Samantha continues with what she has to say.

Samantha: The other thing I wanted to discuss is that the last Global Wars...was the last Global Wars. After five very successful events since 2015, I felt it was time to do something a little different. That’s why instead of Global Wars in November, I am creating an event called Crossed Out.

The logo of the event appears behind her on the video wall.

Samantha: Crossed Out will be unique because for the first time in FFW history, the entire show will consist of elimination rules matches. Whether it be a triple threat, a fatal four way, tag team, or even just a contender’s match for a title, the winner of those matches will be the only one who doesn’t get eliminated in their match. The only ones who don’t get….Crossed Out, as it were.

Samantha continues to get a negative response from the crowd, but it obviously doesn’t bother her in the least.

Samantha: But just like Global Wars, Future Shock will have their own spotlight match on the show. So I encourage Mr. Grant to put together a match with elimination rules as he sees fit, whether it be for one of Future Shock titles or a shot at the title. I look forward to hearing what he decides to book for Crossed Out in November.

The mention of Future Shock certainly turns the fans around as far as their response goes, but only until Samantha starts talking again.

Samantha: I encourage everyone within the sound of my voice to make sure you are signed up for FFW All Access to see Sin & Sacrifice in just over 2 weeks. Two of the matches have a prize awaiting the winner, not counting the title matches. Luci’s match with Rose Gardner will net the winner a future opportunity to become Phoenix Champion. And if Savannah Star wins her match with Shaw, she will have a chance at becoming FFW Champion again for the first time in over a year. I assure you, top to bottom, Sin & Sacrifice will be a can’t miss event in more ways than one.

As she hands off the microphone when her music starts to play, the show fades to another commercial break before the main event.

Kat: The following match is scheduled for one fall to a finish.

Zack: We’ve taken our last commercial break of the show, and you need to sign up for FFW All Access, folks! Sin & Sacrifice is just 16 days away only on All Access, not to mention you can see Future Shock’s Sydney Supershow on demand that took place two nights ago.

Dante: You know who needs to be watching? Shaw! Because she’s facing the most dangerous form of Savannah I think we’ve ever seen in FFW.

There was silence; the lights began to fade away slowly. A soft instrumental echoes out across the audience. It starts slowly, a beautiful sound that contrasts the heaviness of the world. Like feathers, it glides among the waiting audience. The lighting fixtures produce a gentle spotlight upon the stage, offset by the occasional flash here and there. As 'Just Close Your Eyes' by Waterproof Blonde continues to play, a woman’s words begin to come through. Her voice is tender, not raising upon a whisper.

"Deceived by my eyes and all I was told I should see
Opinions not mine, the person they taught me to be
One night in the dark, a vision of someone I knew
And in the darkness I saw, a voice say, I'm you."

On the stage, a feminine figure appears. Her head lowered to everything. People cannot make out who it is. As she stands there, the flashes briefly illuminate her figure. It only gives small clues on who stands at the gate. She stands in the spotlight, her shadow cast large and proudly among the stage.

"Inside me a light was turned on…"

The instrumental picks up again. An electric guitar now joins the progressively exciting instrumentals of before. The singer’s voice suddenly intensifies.

"Then I was alive!"

In the light, it is revealed that it was Savannah Taylor. She stands at the gate, a robe of obsidian and ivory hues. The hood of it shadows her eyes, but the intensity of the final EXODUS World Champion remains clear as day. She starts off down the ramp, with a serious aura radiating from her body.

Kat: Ladies and gentlemen, making her way down to the ring....weighing in at one hundred twenty pounds.....from Las Vegas, Nevada.....Savannah Star !!!

"If you close your eyes your life,
A naked truth revealed
Dreams you never lived,
And scars never healed"

Savannah makes her way up the ring steps. She looks out towards the audience for a moment before entering the ring. From there, she heads for a turnbuckle. She stands there, taking in everything. She then lifts her up on top of it. She peers out in nothing, then takes off the hood with a flashy flourish. Her blonde locks fly up in the air. They descend, shaping her face as they famously do.

"In the darkness, light will take you to the other side
You'll find me waiting there you'll see, if you just close your eyes."

While she stands in her corner, she closes her eyes and takes a heavy breath. When her bright eyes open, Taylor is completely composed. There is nothing more than the heat of battle awaiting her. She takes off her robe, giving it to a stagehand. She stretches her wrists before devoting her mind to the war upon the horizon, turning back to the turnbuckle pads and started to fiddle with the top turnbuckle cover.

Zack: Since when did you become such a Savannah fan? You used to sing Shaw’s praises not that long ago, and now it’s Savannah.

Dante: That’s because Savannah realized that appeasing these blowhard FFW fans ia a waste of damn time, that’s why. She’s out for herself, well her and Seth.

The arena darkens, and a familiar purple light bathes the arena with flashes of green and black for effect. The colours alone bring a cheer from the crowd, even though the music is yet to hit. It’s then that the opening keyboard strokes of “Beyond the Burning Skies” play over the speakers. Giving way to much heavier riffs, the song kicks in fully and from the back, steps Vincent Belmont.

Power. Power and glory,
Things my empty soul has craved since dawn.
Fury, eternal, painful longing.
It grows inside me like a raging storm.

Burning ablaze in my heart
My will, my wish to see it all!

Turning to face the curtain again, he waits expectantly for someone. That someone comes a moment later; Valerie McFarlane. Valerie grins widely, dancing around on the stage to the music, making sure she covers both far ends of it before returning to the centre, where she grins up at her friend and manager.

[/i]Close your eyes and reach beyond the heavens,
Touch the moonlit sky,
An awe-inspiring view of the world!
Feel the beast, go on and grasp your future
On your way beyond...beyond the burning skies![/i]

Valerie then takes off down the ramp, purple and green pyro exploding with every step she takes on her way down. Once at the bottom, she keeps going and throws herself into the ring, under the bottom rope. Rolling to her feet, she spins around three times, stopping herself by putting one leg out, digging it into the mat. Her hand then shoots upwards in a fist and she throws her head back, to a loud roar from the crowd. She then takes to the turnbuckle, putting her hands on the top rope and leaping to the middle one, where she throws both hands out to the crowd.

Kat: On her way to the ring, from Edinburgh, Scotland! Weighing 150 pounds, please welcome VALERIEEEEEEE MCFARLAAAAAAAAAAAAAANE!

On Kat finishing her introduction, Valerie hops back down and heads to her corner, where she meets Vincent. Removing her leather jacket, she hands it to a ringside attendant and discusses something with Vincent while awaiting what comes next.

Dante: And this woman right here is about to find out what Shaw is going to find out at Sin & Sacrifice. The new Savannah is way more dangerous, and not someone to be trifled with.

Zack: You’re right about that, but when has either Shaw or Valerie trifled with her? Savannah has to have the match with Shaw if she wants to get a FFW Championship match. Shaw didn’t challenge her.

Ashley Pruitt was the referee assigned to the match and after checking both contenders for illegal objects called for the bell to get the match underway. The pair came out of their corners and circled for a moment before they entered into a lock up only for Valerie to get the upper hand as she emerged from the tie up with a hammerlock. Star looked to escape the hold as she threw an elbow backwards but Valerie was out of range as she torqued up the hold, pushing her foe’s arm further up her back which saw Savannah attempt to stamp down on McFarlane’s foot. Valerie moved her foot before impact and shoved Star away from her. Savannah found her balance and spun around with an attempted discus forearm only for her opponent to telegraph and take the Las Vegas Siren down to the canvas with a drop toe hold. As soon as Savannah landed, she pushed up to her hands and knees and Valerie floated over and quickly locked in a seated side headlock to the blonde, wrenching it in tightly.

Dante: I know Shaw didn’t challenge Savannah. Do you know why? Because she knows what happened last year at Unstoppable 10 was a fluke!

Zack: A fluke? Now I’ll admit she had the odds stacked against her that night, no two ways about it. But what about Shaw’s run since then gives you any reason to believe Savannah would have just mowed through her that night without the odds being what they were?

Savannah pulled at her opponent’s arms, trying to pull them away from her head which only caused Valerie to wrench it in further as Star pushed upwards to her feet and walked the Scottish wrestler back into the ropes before she fired her off across the ring. Valerie bounced off the opposite set of ropes and came back towards her foe who looked to connect with a running knee strike only for McFarlane to dive over the attempted blow, hooking her foe’s limb as she did and pulled her down into a roll-up pinning attempt.

Dante: Because Shaw has gotten soft, and--SHOULDN’T YOU CALL THIS COVER?!

One…

Two

Zack: It was a two count, those happen in matches. And besides you brought this up, not me.

Star kicked out as the two hit the mat and came back to her feet where she was met by McFarlane who started to lay into her with a series of forearms. Five further stiff forearms followed as the Edinburgh native forced the former No Surrender Champion back to the ring ropes before she delivered two knee lifts into her abdomen as the Nevada born wrestler was against the ropes before she Irish whipped across the ring. Savannah hit the far ropes and grabbed hold of them, stopping her momentum as Valerie had her lined up for a clothesline. Star grinned at her foe, only for the Edinburgh born wrestler to charge forwards looking to catch Savannah with a lariat...but ran straight into a back body drop from Star, sending McFarlane over the top rope where she landed on the apron, holding onto the top rope.

Dante: I don’t think Valerie is going to be that much of a fight for Savannah personally. I don’t think she’s as hungry as Savannah. This is all a big glory run for her. She’s this year’s Katherine Stryfe, just with more wins.

Zack: Wow, you’re really digging up history now, aren’t you? What’s wrong with Valerie just enjoying being part of FFW and competing? What else would you have her do?

The Las Vegas native spun around and went to connect with a haymaker to the side of McFarlane’s head which was blocked before Valerie replied with a headbutt to her foes head causing her to stagger backwards. McFarlane then used the top rope to catapult herself back into the ring with a shoulder tackle that took Savannah down to the canvas. Valerie rolled through to her feet and as Star made it to her knees, Valerie unloaded on her with a series of stiff kicks to her body before she jerked her upwards and snapped off a suplex. McFarlane immediately floated over into the mount position and began to rapidly fire off closed fist right hands into her opponent’s skull; Star covering up as she did so while Pruitt called for the break and started the count. Valerie raised her hands as the official reached the four and pulled the blonde up to her feet, firing off a kick into her midsection that saw her double over before Valerie jerked her into a snap DDT. Star rolled onto her back and McFarlane made the cover, hooking the leg as she did so.

Dante: Put her away, Savannah! I know Shaw’s watching!

One…

Two…

Zack: I’m sure Shaw is watching, and she just watched her collect another two count. What’s your point?

Savannah kicked out once more and Valerie quickly came back to her feet and started to viciously stomp away at Star’s stomach before she pulled the Las Vegas native up from the canvas. The former FFW Champion scooped her opponent up onto her shoulder and headed towards the nearest corner, looking to deliver a snake eyes...only for Savannah to kick and squirm before she wriggled out of the back and landed on her feet behind Valerie as the Edinburgh native was building up a head of steam towards the corner. McFarlane stopped herself before she hit the turnbuckle pads and turned around only for Savannah to catch her with a roundhouse kick to the side of the head which saw Valerie step out of the corner along the ropes.

Dante: Let’s flip this around. What is YOUR problem with Savannah? This time last year, you were out here talking her up the whole time.

Zack: Yeah, that was when she was doing things all herself without needing the added support of Angela Jameson like she did at Unstoppable 11.

Savannah quickly hopped up onto the middle rope and launched herself into a double axe handle blow to the top of Valerie’s spine as she was against the ropes, dropping the Scot momentarily to one knee. As McFarlane came back upright, Star grabbed her by the back of the head and forced her eyes against the top rope, scraping them along the plastic casing as she dragged her the length of the ring and into McFarlane’s own corner. Savannah shoved her backwards against the turnbuckles and began to light up her foe’s chest with a series of stiff knife edge chops as the referee called for the break and started the count, getting to four before Savannah stepped away and took hold of the top rope and started to fire off side kicks into the Scot’s midriff. Again Pruitt called for the break and used the count, getting to four once more before Savannah raised her hands to show that she was complying with the instructions and then Irish whipped Valerie across the ring into Star’s corner.  As McFarlane hit the turnbuckles, the Las Vegas Siren took off after her and left her feet to deliver a high knee to her foe’s chest before she grabbed hold of her hair and jerked her forwards and into a single knee facebreaker as the top turnbuckle pad that Savannah had been fiddling with during Valerie’s entrance fell to the floor.

Dante: Did you see that? I knew that corner would come into play when I saw her tweaking it during the introductions.

Zack: Tweaking it? She took it off, and just used it as a weapon. I’d be calling for the bell if I were the official.

Valerie’s head snapped backwards as it hit her opponent’s knee, causing her to reel backwards against the ropes and as she did so, Star kicked the loose turnbuckle pad out of the ring before the referee could retrieve and grabbed Valerie by the back of her head and whirled her around only to slam her headfirst into the exposed turnbuckle bolt. The referee immediately went to reprimand Savannah as Star introduced the Edinburgh native to the bolt again and then once more with the threat of disqualification hanging over her. Star wheeled away, raising her hands in the air and inciting boos from the fans as Pruitt read her the riot act only for Star to aim a mule kick into the back of Valerie’s knee, taking her leg out from underneath her and dropping her down to one knee. The official never got around to finishing telling off the Las Vegas native before Savannah spun away from Pruitt and started to slam Valerie face first into the middle turnbuckle. She landed five blows before she stepped backwards and bent down, grabbing McFarlane by her ankle and yanking it away, causing her to faceplant into the bottom turnbuckle.

Dante: That’s what I mean by her being more hungry. Hell, she’s even more vicious these days too. And I won’t lie, it’s….kinda hot.

Zack: Well I don’t need to know what you think is hot, but what makes you think she wouldn’t do that to you or one of your clients as much as Valerie?

Savannah wheeled away, playing to the fans and getting loudly booed and jeered in return. Star turned her attention back to Valerie as the Scottish wrestler was starting to push back to her knees against the ring ropes, holding her head in her hands at which point the Las Vegas Siren darted forwards and delivered a two footed dropkick into her shoulder blades causing McFarlane to sprawl over the middle rope, still holding her head Star stepped out onto the ring apron and once more stepped forwards before she jumped into the air and delivered a guillotine leg drop across the back of her neck, snapping her chest over the middle rope and sending her falling backwards to the canvas. Star grinned to the crowd as she sat on the apron for a moment before she came to her feet and climbed to the top rope and jumped forwards to deliver a double footstomp to Valerie’s chest. McFarlane went to curl up into a ball on the canvas and as she did so, Star fell backwards and leaned back across Valerie’s chest, hooking the outside leg for the cover as she did so.

Zack: That’ll bruise your ribs, if not a lot worse! Savannah’s looking for three!

One…

Two…

...TH-

Dante: That’s alright. Some people you have to beat on more to get the point across. Valerie’s always been pretty thick.

Valerie kicked out and Savannah looked to the referee, seeing the two and shrugging her shoulders as she pulled McFarlane upwards and delivered a series of knee strikes into her body. She delivered five strikes before she allowed Valerie to straighten up and then spun her around and landed a snapdragon suplex, delivered with such ferocity that the Scottish wrestler not only folded up but rolled through and sat up, slumped forwards as she did so. McFarlane quickly came up to her feet and headed towards the ring ropes, bouncing off them and came back to deliver a sliding knee strike to her opponent’s face. Valerie fell back to the mat and Savannah came back up to her feet and took off once more towards the ring ropes, bouncing off them and delivered a running back splash to her foe before she rolled over and hooked the leg for a cover.

Zack: Savannah is honed in on victory with all these pin attempts, and here’s another!

One…

Two…

...THR--

Dante: Of course, she is! The object is to win, after all. And then go pummel Shaw.

The former FFW Champion kicked out on two and a half once more and Savannah stared at the referee, asking for the three count only to have the two confirmed to her. The former No Surrender Champion hauled her foe upwards to her feet and sent her down to the mat with a snapmare takedown, following it up with a quick kick to the spine before she dropped down into a sitting position behind the Scottish wrestler and hooked in a sleeper hold around her head whilst wrapping her legs around her body, locking her ankles in a body scissors. Pruitt dropped down in front of McFarlane, asking her if she wanted to quit and getting a definite ‘No’ from the Scottish competitor. Savannah tightened up the body scissors and wrenched on the sleeper tighter as she told the former FFW Champion to quit. Valerie shook her head, determined not to quit as she kicked her foot against the mat. Inevitably though her movements started to slow to a stop, causing Pruitt to ask once more. When the official got no answer, she raised McFarlane’s hand in the air and watched it drop. She did it a second time with the same result before lifting it for a third time.

Dante: Do we have a standby match or something? I don’t think Valerie’s got much left in the tank right about now.

Zack: Then you don’t know Valerie McFarlane very well. She didn’t get into the FFW Hall of Fame and become FFW Champion by luck.

This time when the referee released it, Valerie kept her arm in the air, her other hand rising with it as the crowd started to get behind her. As the crowd got louder McFarlane’s hands went to Star’s arm around her throat and tried to pull it away before she pushed it upwards and sank her teeth into her arm. It caused the American to release her opponent and roll backwards, holding her arm before she came to her feet and immediately turned her ire on the referee, demanding the disqualification and her hand raised in victory as she showed her the bite mark on the arm; meanwhile Valerie slid out of the ring to the outside where she was gulping down air as she tried to recover. Pruitt told Savannah that the match would continue, despite her protestations and to get on with it before the official turned towards Valerie and started the count while she was on the outside.

Dante: Did you see Valerie BITING her opponent? Where’s the disqualification there that you were wanting earlier?

Zack: Using an exposed turnbuckle as a weapon is different from biting someone. Not that I’m saying one is preferable to the other, but still.

Star glared at the official for a moment before she dropped back to the ropes and charged across the ring where she launched herself, looking for a suicide dive through the ring ropes… but was caught in mid air with a pele kick from McFarlane to the side of Savannah’s head. It caused Star to hang over the middle rope and Valerie pulled herself back up to her feet with the air of the ring skirt and backed up a couple of steps before she skipped forwards and caught her foe with a bicycle kick to the side of the head. Savannah had one hand wrapped around the middle rope as she fell through them and collapsed onto the ring apron. Valerie took another couple of moments to catch her breath and gain her bearings before she shoved Savannah back into the ring underneath the bottom rope and followed in after her, pulling herself up to her feet, only to deliver a knee drop to Star’s head. Savannah rolled away and onto her front where Valerie quickly pulled her up and into a camel clutch, sitting low on her back while pulling back as far as she could on her jaw. Pruitt dropped down in front of Star and asked her if she wanted to quit, getting a ‘No’ from the former No Surrender Champion this time.

Dante: Oh yeah, ask the woman who was No Surrender Champion if she wants to quit. Shaw better go for the pin at Sin & Sacrifice rather than a submission.

Zack: I’m sure she will. That flip piledriver of hers doesn’t lend to tap outs, because you’re too busy being knocked out.

Valerie refused to release the hold, pulling back on Savannah’s chin further and further. Again the referee asked the Las Vegas Siren if she wanted to quit, getting another ‘No’ from the blonde. Still Valerie kept the hold locked in, as her breathing started to return to normal and as Star again refused to quit, McFarlane released her grip on her chin and grabbed hold of Star’s arms, standing up as she did so and began to stomp away at the back of the head, landing four stomps before she released her arms and let her drop face first to the canvas. Savannah immediately pushed up to all fours and McFarlane dropped back to the nearest set of ropes, bouncing off them and left her feet to drive Savannah’s face into the canvas with a curbstomp. Savannah rolled over onto her back, holding her face with both hands and Valerie drove an elbow drop into her chest before she made the cover and hooked the leg as she did so.

Zack: Valerie’s really pouring the punishment on here, and there’s the cover!

One…

Two…

Dante: Are you kidding? If she even dreams she can beat Savannah, she should wake up and apologize.

Savannah kicked out on the two count and Valerie pulled her up to her feet and began to drive forearms into her face before she whipped her across the ring and into the corner. As Star hit, McFarlane followed in behind her and delivered a big boot to her face before she pulled her out and sent her in for the ride once more using every ounce of strength that she had. Star barrelled across the ring and her back struck the exposed turnbuckle hard before she stumbled forwards, straight into Valerie’s clutches as the former FFW Champion sent the Las Vegas Siren flying with a release overhead belly to belly suplex. Star hit the mat hard and immediately sat up before she started to push up to her feet and was cut off by her opponent, the Edinburgh native who caught her by the head and delivered a series of MMA knee strikes to her head and body before she sent her down to the canvas with an enzuigiri to the side of her head.

Zack: Valerie’s been improving her striking game clearly, and it wasn’t exactly shabby before tonight.

Dante: I hope the referee checked those knee pads for hidden objects, because I wouldn’t put it past Valerie.

Savannah rolled to the side and started to push her way back to her feet, only getting as far as one knee before she put back down on the canvas once more by her opponent courtesy  of a shining wizard to the side of the head. Valerie shook her head as she looked at Star laid out on the canvas on her back and instead started to pull the Las Vegas Siren back up to her feet, where she spun around and caught her with a spinning back fist to the side of her jaw. Savannah started to collapse only for McFarlane to catch her by the wrist. The Scot struggled for a moment to keep her foe on her feet before she whipped her across the ring and into a neutral corner. Star hit the turnbuckle pads hard and slumped slightly, her arms across the top ropes keeping her upright. Valerie measured her up and took off after her, leaving her feet and driving both feet into her chest with a dropkick. McFarlane landed on her back on the canvas and immediately kipped up, using her momentum to drive a forearm smash into the side of her jaw.

Zack: Those are some vicious strikes from the Hall of Famer, and Savannah’s somewhere on wobbly leg street right now.

Dante: You know what’s great about Valerie? Yeah, me either.

Savannah stumbled out of the corner, holding the side of her face and the Edinburgh native hopped up onto the middle rope. As Savannah turned to face her, McFarlane launched herself forwards, grabbing hold of her head as she spun her around and spiked her opponent down into the canvas with a tornado DDT. Star collapsed onto the mat and Valerie once more headed towards the corner where she climbed up onto the middle rope and launched herself backwards into moonsault. It landed perfectly and Valerie made the cover, hooking the outside leg as she did so.

Zack: A flawless moonsault from the eldest of the McFarlane girls!

...THRE--

Dante: It’d have been even more flawless, you know, if she had...actually won.

Savannah rolled her shoulder before the three count and Valerie sat back on her heels as she knelt over the American submissionist and looked to the referee with three fingers raised. The official shook her head, showing the former FFW Champion the two with one hand and pointing at Star’s shoulder that came up before the count could be completed. McFarlane nodded her head and started to pull Savannah upright, driving her forearm into the side of her head as she did so before she lifted her upwards, holding her upside down for a couple of moments before she dropped her down on her head with a brainbuster. Once more Valerie made the cover, hooking the leg as she did so.

Zack: What a brainbuster! Star almost got her head stuck in the mat right there!

...THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!NNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dante: Your favoritism tonight is showing, Hudson. We’re supposed to be unbiased out here!

At the last possible moment the Las Vegas Siren rolled her shoulder to break up the pinfall and Pruitt waved off the three and showed the two count to the timekeeper and to Valerie as the Scot sat up and asked for the three. McFarlane didn’t argue with the official as she instead came to her feet, grabbing Star by the ankle to flip her over before she trapped her legs and dropped down to lock in the Rapturous Descent STF. Valerie locked her fingers underneath her opponent’s jaw and leaned back as far as she could, pulling back on the head as far as she could to cause as much pain as possible. The official dropped down in front of the Las Vegas Siren, checking the hold and asking her if she wanted to quit only to get a ‘No’ from her. Star wriggled and squirmed in the hold, trying desperately to pull McFarlane’s hands away from her chin only to get the hold locked in even tighter as the former FFW Champion wrenched it in further.

Dante: That’s called RAPTUROUS DESCENT, but if she thinks she’s going to get Savannah to quit, she’s been using too much of that red hair dye.

Zack: Savannah is stubborn as hell when it comes to situations like this. She isn’t known for quitting, but there comes a point when you’ve had enough for a night.

Savannah still refused to quit, using one hand to try and pull the hands away from her jaw as her other hand reached out towards the ring ropes, finding them out of reach before she started to claw and scratch at the canvas, trying to drag herself closer to them. She managed to pull herself forwards a matter of inches but still found the ropes a long way out of reach as Valerie wrenched the hold on tighter once again. The former No Surrender Champions hand wavered over the canvas, looking as though she was about to tap out at any second, but in her desperate attempts to try and get Valerie to loosen her grip she managed to shove the Scot’s fingers upwards to cover her mouth which allowed Savannah to return the favour from earlier and bite down on her foe.

Dante: Good! That’s what I’d have done immediately. Valerie did it to her first, so let’s hear you complain about it.

Zack: I’m not going to. You’re right, Valerie got the chomp earlier. And I won’t disparage Savannah for returning the favor in this case. She did what she had to do.

McFarlane released the hold and rolled away, checking her finger for a moment before she shook her hand then she pushed up to her feet and headed backwards to Savannah. The Las Vegas Siren was holding her back with one hand as she pushed upwards onto her knees and one hand. McFarlane saw her opening and wrapped her arms around her foes waist and went to jerk her upwards into the Final Curtain gutwrench powerbomb only for Savannah to block it by wrapping her arms around the Scot’s leg. Valerie tried once more and this time as she pulled her upwards, Star lashed out with her arm and caught McFarlane between her legs with a low blow. Valerie staggered backwards as Savannah scrambled to her feet and Star yanked McFarlane towards her and into an STO backbreaker. Valerie rolled away off her opponents knee and onto the mat, holding her back as she did so while Savannah fell backwards onto the mat.

Dante: Hurry up, Savannah!! You gotta follow up, and not let this bimbo have time to recover!

Zack: Bimbo? Earlier you said she wasn’t going to give Savannah any trouble at all!

Slowly Savannah crawled across the mat to the ring ropes and used them to pull herself up to her feet. Star leaned back against the ropes as she got her feet underneath her and saw Valerie staring at her across the ring. The Edinburgh native took off towards Savannah and as she did so, Star brought her foot up and caught Valerie in the face. McFarlane staggered backwards and as she did so, Savannah skipped forwards and delivered a weak superkick to McFarlane’s jaw. The Scot dropped to her knees and started to try and push upwards only for Star to hook her head and drive her down into the canvas with the Emerald Weapon corkcscrew neckbreaker. Savannah once more crawled towards the ropes, using them to pull herself upwards once again and this time got her feet underneath her quicker as she stepped through the ropes to the apron and headed towards the corner. Star climbed to the top turnbuckle as McFarlane started to rise and when Valerie turned to face her opponent, Savannah launched herself into the Ruby Weapon dragonrana and hooked both of McFarlane’s legs for the cover as she landed the move successfully.

Dante: There’s the RUBY WEAPON!!

...THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!NNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Zack: Referee Ashley Pruitt would be in the ICU tonight if looks could kill! Savannah is not amused in the slightest, is she?

Savannah shook her head as she sat up and glared daggers at the referee as Pruitt showed her the two count, pointing down at Valerie’s shoulder that had popped up from the mat at the final moment. Star advanced upon the official, demanding the three count from her only for Pruitt to stand her ground and tell her that it was definitely just a two count. Star threw up her hands in frustration and anger at the referee, ordering her to do a better job and count properly before she turned back towards Valerie. The Edinburgh native was already back to her knees when Savannah charged forwards and caught her opponent with a running knee to her chest. McFarlane staggered up to her feet and Star grabbed hold of her arm twisting it around into an armwringer and turned to face her at which point McFarlane lurched forwards, wrapping her free arm around Savannah’s body as she lifted her up and snapped her forwards, slamming her into the mat with an alabama slam. Star rolled over onto all fours and Valerie made no mistake this time as she wrapped her arms around her waist and jerked her upwards before she slammed her down with the Final Curtain gutwrench powerbomb. McFarlane dropped down to make the cover, hooking the legs as she did so.

Zack: There it is!! Valerie with the FINAL CURTAIN!!

...THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dante: Ugh!

Pruitt called for the bell as Valerie rolled away to the cheers of the crowd. The Scot sat up, asking for the three count and the referee confirmed it before helping the Edinburgh born wrestler to her feet while Savannah rolled to the outside, holding her back and looked back up into the ring, staring daggers at Valerie.

Kat: Here is your winner, by way of pinfall…. VALERIE MCFARLANE!!!!

Dante: Savannah might have taken Valerie too lightly. What am I saying? She just lucked out! Means nothing, and that’ll just make her hungrier to demolish Shaw!

Zack: We’ll find out about that in 16 nights only on FFW All Access at Sin & Sacrifice! Don’t you dare miss it, and keep an eye out for Face Off with the full card heading your way on the 26th! Good night from Velocity!

The referee raised her hand in the air as the crowd got even louder and Valerie headed towards the corner. On the outside, Savannah told the camera that she had been robbed and that she was going to take it out on Shaw at Sin & Sacrifice before she started to head up the entrance ramp. Meanwhile in the ring, McFarlane climbed up onto the middle rope and raised her hands in the air to the cheers from the crowd as the show started to fade out.
