Live from the Future Shock Arena in Boston, Massachusetts
October 20, 2020

A FFW logo is shown stuck on a travel bag as it’s being pulled through the airport. “Leave It All Behind” by Sleeping with Sirens can be heard playing over it. The bag belongs to Arabella Townshend as she heads towards her gate before she gets stopped by a mother and her daughter for an autograph. As she leans down to take a selfie with the little girl, one of the monitors hanging is showing clips from Future Shock.

When you look at my life, tell me what do you see?
I’m only human, so don’t expect too much from me.
I lost my faith, what have I become?
I don't think I can be safe from what I'm running for

The clips feature: Mara Werth getting to her feet and having her hand raised with the Future Shock Championship over her head, Jacqui Minogue hitting her finisher in Saitama, Anna and Luna Cortez bickering before walking in different directions, Su Wakuda reaching for a tag from Jennifer Song, and Gemma Pierce looking at her reflection, and Leighana sitting up as she looks over to an opponent face down on the floor.

Will you remember me
If I were to fall into the sky?
And what will they think of me
If I leave it all behind?
When I leave it all behind?

Arabella continues through the airport, and takes a seat in her terminal. She checks her cell phone to see her itinerary, and gets tapped on the shoulder by another fan who wants a hug. This puts a grin on her face as she returns it, and they show her videos on their phone of her and several of the Prospects.

Would you be so surprised if I gave up tonight?
I'm barely breathing, I wanna kill the pain I feel inside
But I won't quit for the people I love
So I'll say I'm fine until the day I fucking see the light

The clips show: Cait Flanagan coming to the ring and throwing money over her shoulder, Alessandra and Nadia sitting on adjacent turnbuckles and flashing a smile to one another, Sydney Christensen delivering a tombstone piledriver, the Stone Sisters greeting the ringside fans as they head towards the ring, and Laurie ignoring Jane as she speaks with Sara backstage.

If you feel like you are nothing
If you feel like letting go
I'll be your hope when you are hopeless
Together, we are not alone
You're not alone

The doors open as Arabella heads through the gate to board her flight. And as the door with the Future Shock lightning logo seals shut behind her, we go live inside the arena to a roaring crowd. The camera pans the interior with a new stage design, and spotlights flooding the crowd as they see themselves on the video wall. We then cut ringside with Zack and his broadcast partner, Claire.

Zack: Impact 4 proved yet again that the FFW and Future Shock rosters were on the same level as they tied again. The women of Future Shock are back home here in Boston, and thank you for joining us. Impact 4 saw a lot more than matches, because outside of those, the biggest news was the first public interview of Angelina Fantastica and perhaps the only thing bigger, Claire, is Global Wars is coming to Future Shock!

Claire: Yeah...there’s a lot coming out of Impact from the Matriarchy’s continuing rampage of destruction, some incredible wrestling matches, Angelina Fantastica addressing why she has come back to Future Shock, laying her cards on the table and, as you mentioned, Global Wars coming to Future Shock. More and more details have been released over the last couple of weeks and we now know the six nations and their representatives in the competition. We also know that it’ll be starting in two weeks, building to a climax in the new year!!

Zack: I’m sure we’ll hear more about the Global Wars competition tonight, no doubt in the new segment debuting tonight. Gabrielle Crimson, former Future Shock Champion and ring announcer, will host the Lightning Round tonight with one of the Global Wars competitors as her guest. I haven’t been told who at this point, but I’m with Jake. I wouldn’t be surprised if we see the Diamond Champion joining her.

Claire: The Lightning Round promises to be a little bit more in-depth and maybe a little harder hitting with it being more of a talk show style than the interviews we normally see on Future Shock. I’m sure that everyone’s favourite former ring announcer and all around nice lady Gabrielle Crimson will have one heck of a first guest lined up for tonight!

Zack: The next Future Shock event is four weeks from tonight on November 17 when we will be in Busan, South Korea for the South Korea Spectacular only on FFW All Access. One match we already know has been announced, and that will be for the Future Shock Championship when Mara Werth defends against “Sensational” Stacey Sky. We do have another match officially added to that card, the in-ring return to Future Shock of Angelina Fantastica when she meets Jacqui Minogue after the wild melee we saw in the six woman tag a few weeks ago. With the mood the Matriarchy has been in, Claire, that’s certainly not much of a welcome mat for Angelina, is it?

Claire: Angelina is certainly leaping into the deep end with both feet. The Matriarchy’s mood hasn’t improved any in the last few weeks since the events of Sydney and I’m sure things have only gotten worse with Adam deciding their actions warranted Australia being excluded from the Global Wars Series. Jacqui might well look to vent all those frustrations on the returning Fantastica.

Zack: As for tonight though, we’ll see the top two Nova Championship contenders square off for the first time one on one since our 63rd episode, Claire. That’s been a while! Arabella Townshend will face off with the American representative for Global Wars Luna Cortez.

Claire: This could be a real big night for both Arabella and Luna. Whoever wins will certainly push themselves towards the front of the queue to face Mikayla Stone for the Nova Championship and for Luna, this could be a chance for her to build momentum for Global Wars. I’m sure she’d love to be the first ever American to win the series.

Zack: We’re also gonna see what I think, Claire, will be a hellacious grudge match tonight when Su Wakuda of the Raging Dragons meets Victoria Havoc of the Doomsday Sisters. You mentioned what happened at the opening of Impact 4, and I gotta believe Su has been chomping at the bit for this since it was announced.

Claire: She was probably chomping at the bit for this opportunity the moment they were attacked backstage and no doubt was bombarding Adam to make this match. We know that Victoria is big, strong, powerful and dangerous...but I think she and Sienna might have made a huge mistake in targeting the Raging Dragons and tonight Su is going to show them the error of their ways.

Zack: We’ll also see River Campbell in action tonight. For some time now, she’s been looking for a match with Sydney Christensen. And with her manager, she really had to go through a lot to get it. She’ll finally get that match tonight against Canada’s Global Wars representative and her manager.

Claire: River and Doc’s cause might have been helped a lot more if they’d spoken to Adam directly and not tried to make this match in tiny, out of the way places across America. I mean, get taking the show to the fans but that only works if there ARE fans. Still, here we are and River is going to have to be on the lookout for Dante and for Sydney’s bat because we saw at Impact that Christensen doesn’t care too much if she gets caught so long as she makes her point.

Zack: As you can tell, folks, it’s going to be a loaded broadcast as we barrel towards the South Korea Spectacular on November 17th. So let’s get it started, and send things up to our exhibitionist ring announcer. Lexi, it’s all yours!

Lexi gives the viewers a flash as she steps between the ropes into the ring, armed with a microphone as she heads towards the center to begin the introductions.

Lexi: The opening contest of Future Shock is scheduled for one fall to a finish.

The lights extinguish inside the arena only for a hockey style goal horn to sound; causing a spotlight to snap on and highlight the one, the only, River Campbell stood at the top of the stage playing to the crowd, waving her arms to get them to join in with the clapping and the opening “Whoa-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh’s…” of “The Enforcer” by Monster Truck. She nods her head, revelling in it as the lyrics kick in.

“I'm not looking for a fight
If you come at me tonight
I'm gonna make you sorry.
Don't try my patience, son
There's a reason I'm the one,
People stand aside for.”

With a smirk on her face she sets off down the ramp, beating her chest as she does so. She only made it about ⅔ of the way down the ramp before Sydney interrupted her entrance, and took off behind her with her bat in hand. She cracked it across River’s back, sending her forward as the music cut off while the canadian used the blunt end of the aluminum bat to drive it into River’s back repeatedly till she was down on the floor on all fours. Dante headed next, swinging something in his hands amid massive boos from the Boston fans in attendance.

Claire: Sydney’s wasting no time!! And I guess she can’t be disqualified if the bell doesn’t ring!!!

Sydney drove the bat into River’s ribs this time as she was trying to get up. Sydney handed it to Dante before she pulled the guitarist up, and fired her into the steps. Campbell struck back first against the steel steps before Sydney took her bat back. She measured and drove a running knee into River’s ribs.

Zack: Sydney used that bat against Lilly at Impact, and helped set a trap for Cassandra. But Steen isn’t here tonight, and this is all Sydney’s machinations right now.

Campbell clutched her ribs in pain before Sydney dragged her forward by her hair. The newcomer to Future Shock threw a few weak punches into her stomach to get free, but was too busy coughing after all the shots to her ribs. Christensen scooped her up, and slammed her to the floor before Dante handed her what he had been holding: a pair of handcuffs.

Zack: Handcuffs….we’re gonna need some help out here. I don’t think we’re gonna see a match, just a mugging with a possible trip to the ER if something doesn’t change soon!

Claire: Security...or someone...has to stop Sydney. Otherwise River’s gonna have several broken ribs at best and some pretty bad internal injuries at worst.

Sydney snapped the cuffs on one of River’s wrists before pulling her up and wrapping the other side around the middle rope before she attached the other half. The guitarist hung from the middle rope, still coughing furiously but managing to catch Sydney with a couple kicks to the ribs as she came forward. She tried to break the cuffs without much luck before the camera saw security coming out of the back. Dante tried to ward them away, and Sydney used the bat to hammer blows into River’s chest repeatedly. She only got off four shots before she was disarmed by the security contingent.

Claire: Better late than never but Sydney’s done the damage to River already! The guitarist is in pretty bad shape right there. I just hope she’s not looking at two many broken ribs or any serious internal bleeding after that heinous attack!

Zack: You’re not kidding. They need to throw Sydney out of the Future Shock Arena, and take that sleazeball manager with her!

Sydney was forcefully escorted up the ramp towards the back as other members of security were freeing River from the handcuffs. When she was finally free, River collapsed to her knees holding her chest. The coughing continued as she looked up the ramp to her attacker with a death stare. Referee Stephen Wilson was followed out by a trainer before the medic knelt down next to River to give her his full attention. She could barely put words together for coughing as the referee was informed the match officially wasn’t going to happen tonight. River snapped her head towards him, and threw herself into the ring to wave Sydney back as she doubled over again in a fit of coughing.

Zack: Can you believe that? River can barely put two words together without coughing, and if I didn’t know any better, I’d say she wanted to start this match!

Claire: River’s a fighter and is stubborn and is showing that true New Yorker attitude and wants her revenge on Sydney right this moment. But Wilson and the medical team have to protect the wrestlers from themselves sometimes.

River forced her way to her feet, waving towards Sydney to come back. The Canadian watched from the ramp, glanced to her bat in her hand, and started back down the ramp before security made a human shield to block her from getting there. Campbell leaned against the ropes until the power of her coughs brought her back to her knees on the mat. Wilson and the medic both told her there wasn’t going to be a match tonight, no way no how.

Zack: Of course, Sydney is happy to oblige River now if she wants to fight still. All River had in mind for weeks was trying to establish herself against a veteran like Sydney, but she didn’t expect anything like this. Just get Sydney out of here!

Claire: Campbell wants to prove herself as a wrestler and as a threat here in Future Shock and fighting a woman like Sydney who has been in Nova Championship contention since the title was announced would’ve been one Hell of a way for her to achieve that. Sydney and her bat just had other plans tonight!

Security once again escorted Sydney back up the ramp before another trainer joined River as they started to get her out of the ring. They put her arms over their shoulders and slowly started to walk her towards the back as she argued with them that she was still capable of having the match right now. All that was said amidst hard coughing and some blood being spit up as a result. The trainer told her it wasn’t happening, and that they were taking her for x-rays.

Claire: I’m not sure if that’s warrior spirit or borderline stupidity from River still wanting the fight tonight - especially when she can barely draw breath and is spitting up blood.

Zack: There is no way they are going to allow that to happen. The well being of the talent is the top priority of FFW, including Future Shock. River will be on her way to a local hospital to get checked out, and we’ll try to have an update as soon as we can get it.

Along with the trainers and security, River was escorted to the back just as Sydney had been moments ago. The camera then went back to Zack and Claire in the booth.

Zack: We apologize, fans, for not being able to deliver on that match we promised tonight. But clearly Sydney Christensen had other plans tonight. There’s still other matches on tap. And it looks like our crew is getting the ring set up for the Lightning Round.

Claire: I doubt this is going to be the end between Sydney and River, if anything it’s just going to fire River up more and she’s going to be hellbent on vengeance the moment that she’s cleared to return to action. We’ve still got a packed night coming up though.

Zack: Don’t touch the remote. We’ll be right back with the Lightning Round with Gaby, and the grudge match between Su and Victoria in just a moment.

The camera shows River being helped through the backstage area before Future Shock takes a commercial break.

As "Endless Possibilities"'s first guitar chords crank the sound system, some of the arena lights blink in pink, crimson red and white. The crowd is cheering as Gabrielle Crimson appears on the top of the entrance aisle and looks around, smiling at the audience. She then blows a kiss to the audience before making her way down the ramp.

Lexi: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome… GABRIELLE! CRIMSON!!!

She jumps onto the ring apron and then slides into the ring passing between the bottom and the middle ropes, proceeding to climb the turnbuckles, looking into the crowd and feeling that adrenaline rush again, blowing kisses at the audience. After that, she jumps back to the mat and bounces a bit, always smiling, before she's given a microphone.

After Gabrielle’s music dies out, she takes a moment to look at the crowd around her, clutching her microphone with a giddy smile to her face.

Gabrielle: Wow, I… Really missed being around you guys! This is so awesome!

She reacts to the houseful of cheers she gets with a little shimmy of happiness, as she’s just so happy to be around her crowd again.

Gabrielle: So… As you know, I couldn’t leave Future Shock, even after I stopped wrestling. And that’s why I’m here tonight. So welcome, one and all… To the LIGHTNING ROUND!

Of course, the lighting of the arena changes slightly, the blue neon changing to a light pink, as the gigatron atop the stage shows the logo of the Crimson Cat’s new segment.

Gabrielle: Every edition of Future Shock, I’ll touch on the important subjects happening in this brand. I’ll be interviewing the major players involved, and I’ll give you everything you need to know what to expect from Future Shock! Not to mention… Let’s just say I’m good friends with the commissioner, I may be breaking some news every now and again.

Wink!

Gabrielle: And there’s no bigger subject in Future Shock right now than Global Wars now becoming a Future Shock staple, and no longer a main roster one. Six countries will be represented in this year’s edition, some of which are being featured for the first time ever. In case you missed it, let’s go through the participants this year!

As Gabrielle refers to the main screen, the participants are shown one by one, in the order the former Future Shock Champion calls them.

Gabrielle: For the first time, Italy is being represented in Global Wars… By one half of Target Acquired, Alessandra Esposito!

The crowd reacts to her name with a big round of cheers, as expected. That’s going to change real fast.

Gabrielle: The Proud North comes back to the competition, now represented by Sydney Christensen!

The cheers immediately turn to boos as the Canada representative is shown. Perfectly understandable, especially following Impact.

Gabrielle: The three main countries in the United Kingdom are all represented, too, and England’s representative is the “World Piercer”, Gemma Pierce!

The “World Piercer” gets a mixed reaction from the crowd, before the image changes, and the cheers are back!

Gabrielle: Representing Scotland, the baby of the McFarlane dynasty, the “Human Pinball”... And my personal favorite… Carys McFarlane!

Gabrielle smirks and winks to a camera while the crowd cheers for her girlfriend.

Gabrielle: Northern Ireland comes to Global Wars for the second time, represented by Gold Standard’s own, and Future Shock Cup holder, Cait Flanagan!

Boos. Many. Thunderous and deafening.

Gabrielle: And, of course, since this IS America… Representing the United--

Look out, they're closing in on you now
Wake up, or you’ll wake up six feet down
Nobody's got your back in this town
Knock 'em. In the. Teeth. NOW!

The intro to Set It Off's "Killer in the Mirror" starts on the sound system, and lights start blinking in random colors as Luna Cortez walks onto the entrance ramp. She's soon joined by her manager Christian Kincaid with a box under his arm, as he stands right beside her to show her off for the crowd. She stops right before the ramp, taking a spin and stopping in a particular pose, winking for the cameras before turning on her heels and running her hands up her slender body and then bringing them above her head, only to then point to the ring... and then wave off the booing audience. Shaking her head, Luna then starts strutting down the entrance ramp, rolling her eyes at the fans in attendance as she makes her way to the ring. Gabrielle can be seen clearly rolling her eyes with a disappointed expression.

When Luna climbs into the ring, she makes her way to the ropes facing the hard camera, stepping onto the second rope and sitting on the top rope, her back turned to the hard cam and the audience, as she makes a pose similar to the one she did atop the ramp, winking at the cameras before she waves the crowd off once again and hops back down to the ring, making her way to Gabrielle and unceremoniously snatching the microphone from her hand.

Luna: I’ll take it from here, pussy-cat. Representing the Land of the Brave and the Free, Texas’ own perfect package, the 10-Star Mastermind, Wrestling’s Biggest Natural Phenomenon… And, from now on, Future Shock’s own Miss America… LUNA! CORTEZ!!!

While the crowd boos that to hell and back, the Wildcat is handed another microphone, as she leans on the corner of her set and gives Luna a stink-eye.

Gabrielle: … rrrrright. Well, since you’re here, we might as well go on with the program. America--

Luna: Why do YOU need a show to talk about Global Wars: Future Shock, woman? France isn’t in the competition, and it’ll never be. Go swallow some frogs; like I said, I’ll take it from here.

Gabrielle: … you know Nadia Beaulieu is from France, right?

Christian gets his own microphone.

Christian: Yeah, but that’s not really got anything to do with Global Wars. She’s not in it, her partner is. But see with this being Future Shock’s first run at Global Wars, it made sense to me why they chose Luna here as Miss Future Shock America. She’s practically your All-American girl. She’s from the Lone Star State, she had humble upbringings, and she’s as fun-loving as they come. There’s no one MORE American than Luna Cortez in all of Future Shock. Not to mention with even half as many stars to their name.

Gabrielle: Well, I was fixing to ask, actually -- America is the most represented country both in Future Shock and FFW. What would you say gave Luna the edge this year so that she would be chosen as the U.S.A.’s representative over the rest of the girls?

Luna rolls her eyes.

Luna: And then they say I’m the one that doesn’t pay attention! Didn’t you hear what he JUST said? I’m a perfect All-American! I’m the embodiment of what America IS and NEEDS to be right now! Smart, caring, beautiful, strong, fearless! And I ALWAYS get what I want. ALWAYS.

Luna leans towards Gabrielle in a menacing way, and the Wildcat almost flinches.

Luna: I said I was going to find a way to get MY Nova Championship back, and I did. Now I’m only one match away from being a champion again. Being part of Global Wars is just another opportunity for me to show you why I should’ve NEVER lost that belt in the first place.

Christian: As a matter of fact, I have some news for your show right here on that very topic. November 17th on FFW All Access, it’s the last international stop for Future Shock in 2020 when they have a big event in South Korea. And that just happens to be the night Luna here will be challenging Mikayla Stone for the Nova Championship. Not Katie Hanley, been there and done that. Not Jacqui or whoever else. Luna. One on one. With Mikayla. For the Nova Championship!

The crowd boos raucously as Luna smirks confidently, and Gabrielle nods in acknowledgment.

Gabrielle: And if everything comes up Luna Cortez, you’ll end the year not only with the Nova Championship, but with fighting chances for a shot at Mara Werth’s Future Shock Championship down the line. After all, that’s the prize for the winner this year.

Luna then laughs vividly, like she’s just heard the best thing.

Luna: Then we can officially declare that 2021 will be the Year of Luna Cortez! I’ll be Nova Champion AND Future Shock Champion when this is all said and done! And I’m gonna do it all… FOR AMERICA!!!

Gabrielle: You, uh… can’t do that.

Luna turns to Gabrielle with a scowl.

Luna: My ass! Of course I can! I can and I will!

Gabrielle: Well, I’m pretty sure it would be awesome for you to capture the Future Shock Championship while Nova Champion, but according to FFW’s own rules, you can’t hold two singles titles at once. You’d… have to relinquish one.

Luna: … relinquish? Relinquish MY BELT?

This has definitely NOT sat well with Luna, who is starting to get red in the face as annoyance builds up HORRIBLY. Christian whispers something into Luna’s ear to bring a smile finally to her face before he continues.

Christian: You’re so negative tonight, Gaby. What happened to you? You know what? Don’t worry about it. I’m glad you’re here, because you get to be witness along with everyone in Boston to the coronation… Here, hold this for a second.

He hands the box off to Gaby before opening it.

Christian: Can I get a little spotlight here?

The arena darkens with a spotlight over only Luna before he removes a jewel-encrusted tiara of only red, white and blue gems and gently clips it to Luna’s hair.

Christian: You can’t be Miss Future Shock America without a tiara….

He reaches back into the long box, and then removes a golden scepter, which he hands to Luna next.

Christian: Or a scepter. Gaby….there she is! Miss Future Shock America!!!

Of course, the whole crowd is booing their absolute heads off, as Luna has the biggest smile on her face EVER, to the point she’s waving to the crowd like a Miss. Gabrielle… is completely dumbfounded.

Gabrielle: What the heck…

Christian: You’re right, I almost forgot!

He starts waving towards the back before a production assistant brings down a bouquet of flowers. The assistant hands it up to Christian before he gives them to Luna to hold.

Christian: Can’t forget the flowers after all. In all her glory, I give you Miss Future Shock America….LUNA CORTEZ!!

Even more boos, even more confused Gabrielle… Even harder laughing Luna.

Luna: See?! This is what I’m talking about! This is how a country should treat their idols, their historic figures, their masterminds! This is what I DESERVE from America, and let me assure you guys: I will give back just as much. Because you’re looking at greatness, baby! It’s okay to marvel!

Gabrielle takes some time to digest that before she scoffs and shakes her head.

Gabrielle: I’m sorry to add to the negativity here…

She’s obviously being sarcastic as hell.

Gabrielle: But, look, I’m not gonna lie: the crown is pretty, and everyone that knows me knows I love pretty flowers. But… What do you think separates you from the other -- ahem -- WRESTLERS? Do you think you have what it takes to FIGHT them for this shot at the Future Shock Championship?

Luna just snickers, before handing the bouquet and the scepter to CK.

Luna: Of course I do. It’s not something you’d understand, since you’re from coastal France. But the ground where you stand right now? This is America. This is where the brave and the bold thrive. This is where greatness happens, this is the greatest country in the whole goddamn world. And do you know WHY that is? Because America is the Land of the Free…

And just like that, Luna twirls and SMACKS Gabrielle with a roundhouse kick, dropping the microphone AND the Wildcat! The former wrestler collapses to the mat out of balance, before she’s forced back to her feet and lifted off the mat as Luna puts her in a double chickenwing, before executing a sit-out facebuster! The audience is booing even louder than before as Luna rolls back to her feet and skirts, retrieving her microphone and crouching before the fallen Gabrielle to finish her thoughts…

Luna: … and I’m free to do as I please.

And as she raises her hands and makes the “10 stars” taunt, “Killer in the Mirror” hits the sound system again, as CK offers her her accessories back, much to the chagrin of the jeering crowd.

Per l'Italia

A short video package shows the upcoming Global Wars series, including all six of the women competing as well as the country they will represent. And as soon as it ends, that’s when we find Sara along with one half of Target Acquired.

Sara: The Global Wars series begins in Future Shock for the first time in the next episode, and this woman to my left will be representing Italy. I’m referring to Alessandra Esposito, and this will be the first time ever in Global Wars history that Italy has been represented. No pressure, right?

Alessandra: No… no pressure at all.

The Italian doesn’t look entirely convinced by her words but tries to cover it with a brave face.

Sara: You’ve had a small number of singles matches so far in your entire career, but this will certainly be the matches with the most importance. Were you surprised you were selected? Did you expect maybe your partner, Nadia? Take us through finding out that you’re going to be representing an entire country in Global Wars.

Alessandra: Honestly I hadn’t really thought about it prior to finding out that I would be representing Italy. It felt like such a short space of time between finding out about the Global Wars series coming to Future Shock and that I would be involved and having the hopes and dreams of my country on my shoulders. It was a lot to take in, but I am proud to have been chosen, and I will do my utmost to make sure that I do not let anyone down.

Sara: As I understand it when FFW retired the event, that’s when Adam sought to bring it here. And now here you are, and could not only represent Italy well...but find yourself challenging for the Future Shock Championship! I know you came here as a tag team, but that’s a pretty big prize that I would think anyone on the roster would love to have, tag wrestler or not. Would you agree?

Alessandra: Of course. There is nobody on the roster that would pass up an opportunity to challenge for the Future Shock Championship if they have the chance. Myself and Nadia are a tag team, but that does not mean that we would not also like to have solo successes if and when opportunity presents itself.

Sara: Now that you know the field of competitors that you’ll be competing against, do you have any particular thoughts about them? Of them all, and this is just my opinion, but England’s Gemma Pierce looks like she’s going to be a very stiff test for everyone. Who do you think could be challenging?

Alessandra: There are no easy options in Future Shock, each and every one of the participants in Global Wars will present their own challenges in my opinion.

Sara: Tell me a little about your past in Italy. How long did you live there before moving away? Is there a part of the country that’s most special for you?

Alessandra: I was born in Naples and lived there my whole life until I was about 16 or 17 and then I got an opportunity to spread my wings and I took it. I still go back as much as my schedule allows. My family would probably send a search party to find me, if I did not!

Sara: I understand we’ll find out tonight who it will be against, but your first opponent in Global Wars is on the next show. So you’ll be kicking off the whole series next Future Shock. Good luck, Alessandra!

Sara shakes her hand before the show heads elsewhere in the Future Shock Arena.

Future Shock returns from the commercial break, and finds Lexi back in the ring with her microphone in hand ready to start the next set of introductions.

Lexi: The following contest is scheduled for one to a finish.

Zack: Given what’s gone on lately between these two women, I don’t think Lexi’s standard introduction for the match is going to do it justice with what I expect to see.

Claire: You’re right, after Sydney and then two weeks ago at Impact, I think this is going to be one heck of a fight between these two. The referee might need to be pretty lenient tonight if we’re to get a result.

A graceful piano solo begins playing over the sound system of the arena before joined by a second piano. Ramin Djawadi’s cover of “Heart-Shaped Box” by Nirvana becomes more orchestral with violin and cello alike joining as Su Wakuda emerges through the curtain, a relaxed look upon her face. She surveys the crowd for a few moments, a slow withdrawn yet peaceful grin appears on her features before it disappears. The White Dragon shakes a few fans’ hands and smiles more earnestly as one kid in the crowd bows to her and she bows back as Lexi announces her.

Lexi: From San Francisco Bay, California and weighing in tonight at 145 lbs... This is The White Dragon..one half of the reigning Future Shock Tag Team Champions.... “Bulletproof” SU WAKKUUUDDDAAA!!

After getting into the ring from the bottom rope, “Bulletproof” Su Wakuda does a one-eighty spin on one foot, the other sliding in circular form around herself. She quietly bows to the crowd in a formal stance before nodding to Lexi and the ref, indicating she is ready to go with a few katas.

Zack: Su Wakuda hasn’t been known for her singles work since arriving in Future Shock. But I’m positive she’ll be breathing enough fire for both her and Jenny.

Claire: Her and Jenny were singles stars before they started to tag together and I’m sure she’ll come out of the gate hot tonight. Havoc might want to prepare to be forced onto the back foot here.

The lights go out...

The first note of music of “American Witch” by Rob Zombie hits the arena, prompting the arena to erupt to thunderous reaction.

Then, we hear the first words of the song spoken:

This is a journey backed with fear, guilt, and anxiety
This is a journey backed with fear, guilt, and anxiety
This is a journey backed with fear, guilt, and anxiety
This is a journey backed with fear, guilt, and anxiety

As the song begins, and the spotlight is beaming on the stage where Victoria Havoc appears, arms positioned in a flex position with her sister Sienna Danger standing beside her. Then Victoria stops posing, and the ladies show off their trademark triangle hand signal, to represent her faction, before making their way down the aisle.

Lexi: Making her way to the ring, being accompanied by Sienna Danger and representing The Matriarchy...standing 6'2 and weighing 200 pounds…from Melbourne, Australia…she is one half of the tag team FemDOOM…She…Is “The Lady Beast”…VICTORIA HAVOC!!!!!

Once the ladies get to ringside, they climb up to the apron the ring and face the crowd, doing a little trash talking with the fans at ringside. After wiping her feet on the apron, they enter the ring and Victoria walks over to one of the corners, where she climbs up and pose, yelling back at the crowd at every chance. She then goes toward the opposite corner and does the same thing after climbing up. Meanwhile, Sienna stands in the center of the ring, pointing at her sister while doing some trash talking with the crowd herself. Then, after coming down, Victoria rejoins with her sister to her corner of the ring as she waits for the match to begin.

Zack: After the way the last match went, I’m glad we were able to get these two to the ring in one piece. You can feel the tension that’s about to erupt as soon as the bell rings here in Boston!

Claire:  You’re right Zack. Su is like a cork in the champagne bottle just waiting for that bell to ring. But she’s got to be careful tonight, Victoria has her sister in her corner and we’ve seen before that these two are happy to treat their singles matches like tag team contests.

Having stuck around after the last match was cancelled, referee Kevin Fisk barely had time to check for illegal weapons before Su rushed past him and made a beeline for Victoria. He called for the bell only a couple seconds after the two women began trading blows in a wild flurry! Havoc was getting the better of it though before Su went low, sweeping one of her legs out from under her and mounting her chest to unload furious right hands. The Boston crowd was clearly behind the tag champion as she rained rights one after another before Havoc used a monkey flip to send her to the canvas. The powerful Aussie got to her feet, and wasn’t there long before Su used a single leg takedown and was right back on top of her with more furious rights!

Claire: I think if there’s one thing we can be certain of from these opening exchanges it’s that this isn’t going to be a technical classic. More of an all out brawl and Su’s looking for blood tonight!

Zack: Su Wakuda is throwing punches like she was a heavyweight fighter, and knockdowns be damned because she’s got more to hand out!

Again, Havoc managed to throw her off to the mat. But Su was back to her feet just as fast. This time though, it was Havoc who charged towards her. She went for a boot to the face but Su ducked, letting her leg clear the top rope. It popped up between Victoria’s legs, freezing her in place before Su hopped up onto the corner and used a flying clothesline to take her out to the floor. And again, Wakuda was on top of her laying in right hands to the head before finally getting to her feet with a yell.

Zack: Su was airborne for a moment, long enough to bring Victoria crashing to ringside. The “White Dragon” is breathing fire, and none of what we’ve seen so far has surprised me.

Claire: Havoc’s trying but she’s not getting a chance to get out of the blocks here! Su’s battering her from all angles!

Havoc started to get to her knees before Su used a Mongolian chop to her shoulders to keep her down a second longer. The tag champion hopped up onto the apron behind her before running off with a bulldog that sent her face first into the floor. The referee tried to get her back in the ring, but Su only rolled in and back out before she headed for the steps. The White Dragon unhooked the top half of the steps, and hoisted them up as she looked down to Victoria.

Zack: This match won’t last long if Su uses those steps! I hope we have a standby match or two ready to go!

Claire: I don’t think Su gives too much of a damn whether or not she gets disqualified or not! She just wants to do as much damage as she possibly can and pay her back for the attack two weeks ago.

Fisk warned her as he leaned through the ropes about using the steel steps, but Su used them anyway….but on Sienna! She turned towards Victoria’s partner, and ran straight at her and knocked her to the floor with them. The fans roared in approval as Su used the steps and repeatedly drove them into Sienna’s body.

Zack: Well…..she won’t get disqualified for using them on Sienna! Su’s taking some pre-emptive measures tonight!

Claire: I don’t blame her - we’ve seen Sienna involve herself in Victoria’s matches before but the Dragon can’t get too distracted and forget her opponent; Havoc is just going to get more dangerous if she’s given time to pull herself together.

Wakuda took a step back, and simply launched the steps onto Sienna’s body. It caught her in the abdomen, causing the Aussie powerhouse to double over onto her side. What she didn’t see was Victoria coming in from behind...or did she? As soon as Havoc was about to grab her, Su used a Pele kick that landed on top of Victoria’s head before she grabbed her head into a bulldog into the barricade. Wakuda rolled into the ring again to break the count, and back out before she began pulling up the aprons. When she found what she wanted, the fans got louder as she dragged a table out from under the ring and started to set it up on the floor.

Claire: Su must have a sixth sense or eyes in the back of head! Still, I wouldn’t want to give either of the Doomsday Sisters time to recover. This could still backfire badly on her.

Zack: This match has spent all of about 45 seconds in the ring, and the rest has been out here on the floor. I don’t mind telling you I get a little nervous when the Doomsday Sisters are out here...and Su….well she’s getting creative.

With the table now set up, she took off towards Victoria with a knee to the ribs as she was trying to get up. She dragged her around the corner and laid the powerhouse out across the top of the table. A few forearms landed against her head before Su headed back up to the apron, After backing up a few feet, she took off across the apron and leapt into a double stomp aimed for Victoria’s body. But Havoc rolled off the table and Su went through it instead. She managed to land on her feet, showing catlike agility as the table was splintered around her. When she glanced up, that’s when Victoria caught her with a big boot to the face that sent her to the floor. Havoc leaned against the apron, trying to get her wind back before pushing forward and putting the boots to Wakuda amidst the wrecked table.

Claire: Victoria saw it coming and now she’s got herself a chance to get her wits about her and start to punish Su.

Zack: No kidding. Su was gonna stomp her guts out if she had her way about it right there, but the tides have turned.

Sienna was now back to her feet and on the apron, bickering with the referee about allowing Su to fight on the outside. It was all a diversion though as Victoria grabbed Su’s feet, and used a giant swing to send her body crashing into the barricade. She turned around, and swung the other side of her into the wall. She repeated it three more times before scooping her up for a slam, and letting her drop chest first across the top of the barricade. She pulled Su to her feet, and rolled her back into the ring. But then she got momentarily distracted as the fans welcomed Jenny, who was heading down the ramp. Song pulled Sienna off the apron, and started unloading with furious shots!

Zack: Here comes Jenny, and we’re getting double our money’s worth now! Look at her laying in those shots on Sienna, meanwhile this match is finally back in the ring.

Claire: Jenny’s evening up the playing field here and getting a little bit of revenge herself on Sienna. Now Fisk can focus on Su and Vicky and try to keep these two under control….as best as anyone can.

Victoria had joined Su back in the ring, but chose to help her partner out by grabbing hold of Jenny’s hair over the top rope. When Song reached up to break her grip, Havoc grabbed her hands and held her in place while Sienna drove uppercut after uppercut into her body, lifting her feet off the floor with each shot. Havoc let go as Jenny dropped to her knees, allowing Sienna to pummel her with rights. Su had gotten back to her feet during this though. When Victoria turned, Su launched towards her and left her feet. But she got caught in midair and launched into the corner with a leg hook Saito suplex. Wakuda lay upside down in the corner after making impact, and Victoria grabbed the top rope before stomping away at her body.

Claire: That’s just...that’s just bone chillingly scary power from Havoc. She plucked Su out of midair and just tossed her aside with an impressive Saito suplex. There aren’t many people in this world that to a 145lb mass hurtling towards them!

Zack: You’d think the tag titles were on the line tonight...or that this was a tag team match. But neither of those are true, and we got brawling in and out of the ring.

Victoria dragged her out of the corner, and pulled her arms up behind her to start stomping her back repeatedly. Six stomps landed before one drove her face down into the canvas. The fans were giving Havoc plenty of ire as she pulled Su up, and planted her head between her legs. Victoria delivered a running buckle bomb that crumpled Wakuda in the corner before she was yanked clear of the ropes so Havoc could make the cover.

Zack: That’s the first cover we’ve seen all night, Claire! And this is the second match!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

T-NOPE.

Su popped her shoulder off the canvas in time before the three came down. And Victoria grabbed that wrist and pinned it down, causing the referee to count again.

Zack: She’s gonna hold her arms down!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THR-NOO.

Su showed awe-inspiring neck strength when she raised her body off the mat by using her head and feet. It raised her shoulders too before Victoria scowled and used a headbutt to her face to drop her down again.

Claire: Impressive display of strength from Wakuda there but Havoc’s not being discouraged that easily and looks like she wants to put this one away sooner rather than later!

Victoria glanced up to see the fight on the floor had come to a standstill as her partner was now on the opposite side of the ring from Jenny, while the other half of the tag champions was pounding the mat and shouting for her tag partner. Victoria got to her feet, stomping away at Su a bit more before she pulled her up again. She did it with ease before she hoisted her into a front carry, dropping her back across her knee only to stand back up and do it again three more times. On the fifth lift, she sent Su flying with a fallaway slam that nearly sent her out of the ring. Jenny moved around to that side, trying to encourage her tag partner.

Zack: Victoria makes it look easy, doesn’t she? She’s manhandling the White Dragon as if she were a small child, and Jenny’s trying to stoke the fire back into her “Bulletproof” partner.

Claire: She really does. It’s a testament to just how strong Havoc is. Su needs to find a way to get back into this one and get her opponent off her feet where she can’t use that strength so much.

Wakuda headed for the corner, and pulled herself to her feet. Victoria watched with a smirk on her face, measuring her before she took off with a running shoulder tackle. But Su hopped up and over, causing Havoc to hit the corner instead before Wakuda pulled her down into a sunset flip. Victoria’s arms flailed as she trying to fight the momentum. She ultimately grabbed the rope with one hand before Jenny hopped up on the apron and looked like she was about to bite her hand! Havoc let go and was pulled down into the rollup!

Claire: ROLL UP!!! Su with the element of surprise and this might steal her a win! What a way to turn it around!!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NOOO!!!

Victoria kicked out in time before the three hit the canvas, and Su rolled away. The tag champion was still winded and worn down, but the crowd was doing everything they could to fire her up again.

Zack: It looked like Jenny was about to bite off a digit or two before Victoria let go of the ropes, and now Su really needs to rally here.

Sienna came around the corner after Jenny, only to catch a shotgun dropkick off the apron to her chest. The fight resumed on the floor once more as Victoria stalked towards Su more warily in the corner. As she got close though, Wakuda caught her with a kick to the solar plexus. That stumbled Havoc backwards before Su let out another yell, and got underneath her...to lift her onto her shoulders into a Death Valley driver! Havoc bounced off the mat before Su clutched her lower back in agony and fell over on top of her. Fisk immediately went to make the count.

Zack: A ring shaking DVD from the White Dragon, and she may have just fallen into the win!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NO!!

Victoria rolled her shoulder off the mat, and Su crawled away from her. She got to the ropes, holding her back again as she tried to pull herself together.

Claire: Su came close to picking up the victory there but you could see on her face how much delivering that move took out of her and the effect that all the work Havoc has done to Su whenever she’s had the upper hand.

Su struggled to get back to her feet, only to find Victoria had done the same already. The Aussie caught her with a roaring elbow that nearly sent her through the ropes before Havoc scooped her up high overhead, and let her drop from all the way over the top rope to the floor. Su’s body hit the ground hard before Havoc stepped over the top rope to go out after her.

Zack: And now we’re going back to ringside once again! Jenny and Sienna are still teeing off on each other around the corner, and now they are about to have company!

Claire: We saw earlier on that Victoria can do a lot of damage in a very short period of time when she’s on the outside. This is the last place Su wants to be right now.

Jenny was starting to get the better of the exchange on Sienna when Victoria spotted what was going on. Havoc headed around the corner, and caught Jenny with a spinning backfist that sent her into the apron. Sienna got back to her feet before the two began using hammerfists to pound Jenny down. Then they turned their attention to Su. The two sisters grinned at each other, and headed towards her. Sienna spat on Jenny before following after her sister, while Jenny’s face turned red as she wiped the spit from her forehead and pulled out a chair from under the ring.

Claire: That’s the final straw for Jenny and the Doomsday Sisters are about to find out how deadly a Dragon can be when they’re armed!!

Zack: Jenny’s face told the story! She wiped the spit off her face, and we got a fire-breathing Dragon now...with some steel!

As Victoria and Sienna leaned down to pull Su up, Jenny was about to use the chair. But Sienna caught her with an elbow in the ribs as she got close. Danger disarmed her, and cracked the chair across Jenny’s back instead. Two more shots put her down on the floor before Victoria rolled Su on to her stomach and held her feet, encouraging Sienna to keep it up. And she was happy to oblige as she warped the chair across Su’s back next until the bell rang.

Lexi: Your winner by disqualification………...SU WAKUDA!!

Claire: Jenny looked to go to town with the chair but Sienna saw her coming and the Doomsday Sisters continue to wreak a path of destruction, riding roughshod over the Tag Team Champions!

Sienna tossed the deformed chair aside, and raised her sister’s hand anyway to a chorus of boos from the Boston crowd.

Zack: The referee had no choice there! He’d been very very lenient up till now with this match, but that chair was the bridge too far! Sienna has declared her sister the winner tonight in Boston.

Claire: Fisk let them fight to try and resolve their issues but as soon as Sienna got her hands on that chair there was only way that this was going to end. Su might be the winner, but her and Jenny certainly don’t look like it at the moment.

The Doomsday Sisters looked pleased with themselves as they headed up the ramp towards the back. Meanwhile, Jenny and Su were writhing on the floor and trying to get up again.

Zack: Nothing at all was resolved here. If anything, I’d say it’s only gotten worse between these two teams. At this point, I’m not sure a standard tag match is going to resolve this animosity.

Claire: At this point, Zack, I’m not sure a referee - any referee - could keep control of a standard tag match between these two teams. After what we’ve seen tonight, I think Adam might need to get creative in order to settle the score between these four.

The Dragons finally got to their feet, and were warmly applauded by the fans in the Future Shock Arena before the show cut to a commercial for the South Korea Spectacular.

Something Witchy This Way Comes

The plate on the door showed it was the one leading into the office of the Future Shock Director, even though he was standing outside of it along with two thirds of Trinity: Madyson and Mikayla Stone.

Adam: Ladies, thanks for coming to see me. We’re about to close out the year here for 2020, and both of you could be holding titles around here before that happens.

He turns his attention to Madyson first.

Adam: You’re going to be part of the spotlight match for Future Shock at Crossed Out this year. A triple threat elimination with you, Cait Flanagan and Carys McFarlane for the Diamond Championship. Fingers crossed...hopefully we’ll be able to settle what’s been going on between you three. And in this kind of match, no odd woman out, right? Pins or submissions until only one is left standing with the Diamond Championship.

Madyson: I’m not gonna lie, I was really hoping to get a one on one shot for the title, but I’m not meaning to sound ungrateful and I can work with this.  It’s such a major stage to be a part of after all, especially with it being the inaugural Crossed Out show.

Then his attention turns to the Nova Champion.

Adam: Meanwhile, you’re setting new records with that title. The next two defenses of that title are set in stone. You’ll defend it in South Korea against Luna Cortez, and the winner of that match will meet Arabella on the first Future Shock of 2021 in the main event. Ever visited South Korea?

Mikayla shakes her head.

Mikayla: No, it’s gonna be another first for me, just like Saitama was and look at how that turned out for me! The amount of travel and new places I’ve got to visit since I joined Future Shock is awesome, and doing it as Champion is just the icing on the cake for me.

Adam: That’s what I like to hear. You keep up this string of victories and successful defenses, and one day, you and I will be discussing another title that will be in your Future...with a capital F.

Mikayla: That… would be… wow… I’m not gonna get ahead of myself though. I’m gonna give this Nova Championship the focus and attention it deserves and keep trying to rack up the defenses along the way.

And his attention diverted back to Madyson once more.

Adam: Also in the new year, you’ll get those one on one matches you wanted against both Cait and Carys. And if you happen to be the Diamond Champion at the time, all the better, right?

Madyson: I have no intention of leaving Crossed Out without the Diamond Championship, so it will be all the better. Thanks Adam, I’m definitely looking forward to the one on one matches and setting a few things straight.

Adam: Good luck, ladies.

As he wishes them well, we see a short clip detailing the history between the trio of women in the Diamond Championship match at Crossed Out next month.

The Sharpshooter

The next scene is a close up of a paper target like you’d find at any shooting range. It’s pristine until two shots are fired into it, first making one hole and only widening it with the second. The camera pulls back and we’re now looking over the shoulders of a brunette with headphones covering her ears. After putting the weapon down, she turns towards the camera and it's quickly revealed to be Alejandra Garcia.

Alejandra: The name’s Alejandra García. And I’m the sharpest eye in the business.

After taking off the headset, she presses the button to bring the target to her to check out her marksmanship.

Alejandra: I’m what you could call a sharpshooting artist. Whenever I have my eyes on a target, you can bet your bottom Dollar it’s gonna be a bullseye. I’m bringing that precision back to wrestling, and I can’t wait to show what a technician like me can do. And you should be ready for it too.

Pleased with what she sees, she heads back inside with the camera following her.

Alejandra: ‘Cause when I put my eyes on you… You’re in trouble. Because I never miss my shots.

And as she finishes, she flashes a smile to the camera before the shot fades to…

ALEJANDRA GARCIA doesn’t miss…

And She’s Coming Soon to Future Shock.

Won’t You…

After returning from the commercial break, we are taken once again into the ring with Lexi as she begins to speak.

Lexi: The following is your main event of the evening scheduled for one fall!

Zack: Main event time, fans. The last time these two women met, it was our 63rd episode. And with this being the 86th, that’s been a while, to say the least. Both are primed to challenge for the Nova Championship, and I have no doubt Mikaylas glued to a screen somewhere right about now.

Claire: Both of these women are looking to put themselves into prime position to challenge Mikayla tonight and both of them will pose massively different challenges to our Nova Champion.

The sounds of "Rebel Yell" by Billy Idol begins to play as purple strobe lights flash on the darkened stage. A woman starts to rise up from under the stage with her back to the crowd before looking over her shoulder with a smile.

Last night a little dancer, came dancin' to my door
Last night a little angel, came pumping on my floor
She said come on baby, you got a license for love

The fans give her a very warm response as she bounces down the stage to the music, greeting several fans at ringside and even taking selfies with a couple before rolling under the bottom rope. She shucks off her ring jacket as the lights come up.

Lexi: Introducing from London, England....please welcome....ARABELLA TOWNSHEND!!

Arabella gives Lexi a little hip bump as she passes her, and limps towards the corner. Instead of trying to climb it like normal, she merely raises her arms as she seems to be favoring one leg.

Zack: Well this doesn’t look all that promising already. Looks like Arabella is still favoring her ankle that Cassandra Steen attacked at Impact two weeks ago, Claire. That’s gonna be a target for sure for Luna.

Claire: I fully agree with you there, Zack. Arabella’s the walking wounded tonight but there if she’s cleared then she’s never going to back down from a fight. It’s a testament to her heart and her resiliency; that never say die attitude that make her such a threat in the ring. Plus, as we’ve seen recently, she’s started to roll out a whole new skillset in her matches.

She's soon joined by her manager Christian Kincaid, as he stands right beside her to show her off for the crowd.

Lexi: And her opponent, escorted to the ring by Christian Kincaid... From Fort Worth, Texas... LUNA CORTEZ!

When Luna climbs into the ring, she makes her way to the ropes facing the hard camera, stepping onto the second rope and sitting on the top rope, her back turned to the hard cam and the audience, as she makes a pose similar to the one she did atop the ramp, winking at the cameras before she waves the crowd off once again and hops back down to the ring, making her way to her corner and sharing some last minute strategy with Christian.

Zack: If you didn’t get enough of Luna commandeering the Lightning Round earlier, you’ll get a double shot tonight! Apparently now wanting to be known as Miss Future Shock America, I guess she left her crown and scepter in the back that we saw her wearing earlier. She’s really taken this Global Wars pick to heart, and considers herself your typical All-American girl.

Claire: A typical All-American girl? Well, she wouldn’t be the first choice in my book...I mean usually you think of a blonde, bouncy more bubbly cheerleader type…but well, Luna is Luna I guess. A former Nova Champion who was never beaten for the title and will stop at nothing to get that belt back in her clutches will prove ample threat to Arabella here.

Luna tries to start a “USA!” chant, but has no luck whatsoever from the booing Boston crowd. So instead she starts her princess wave as she turns towards all sides of the arena. When she turns towards Arabella, she grins at her when she sees Arabella putting most of her weight on one foot.

Zack: Well...I think Luna’s gonna have trouble getting this crowd behind her, whether she’s ...Miss Future Shock America or not. But she’s practiced her royal wave apparently. Now she sees what we saw a moment ago...Arabella’s ankle apparently isn’t healed yet.

Claire: She’s seen the bullseye and the weakness, the question is whether or not Luna can show the discipline to focus on it throughout this match and not allow her attention span to wander or get distracted from her goal.

Referee Stephen Wilson checks both women for hidden objects, and doesn’t find any before he calls for the bell to start the match. Luna, in particular, seems eager to get started as she immediately heads towards Arabella’s corner. But since she’s leaning on the ropes, the referee intercepts the triplet as Arabella leans down to rub her ankle. Cortez tries to go around him as the referee stops her, telling her Arabella is still in the ropes.

Claire: Arabella definitely looks to be favouring that ankle and Luna’s like a shark sniffing blood in the water! She thinks that she can get this over and done with in record time.

Wilson pushes Luna back a couple steps as Arabella finally takes a deep breath and heads out of the corner. She’s clearly favoring her left ankle though as she walks. And when the referee asks her if she’s sure she wants to have the match, she nods her head. Wilson steps out of the way as Luna grins ear to ear and immediately heads towards her….only to walk into a yakuza kick to the chest from Arabella before she pulls her down into a small package!

Zack: Arabella may have been cleared, but perhaps she shouldn’t----OHH SHE WAS GOLDBRICKING!!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

TH-NOO!!

Luna kicked out in time as Arabella rolled away from her, and back to her feet. The Brit did a couple jumping jacks with a grin on her face before Luna stormed towards her, and got caught into a drop toe hold instead. Townshend hammered a flurry of forearms into the back of her head before bouncing her face off the canvas, and then into a side headlock.

Claire: Arabella suckered her opponent in and it’s fired Luna up. Unfortunately for Cortez, it’s just causing her to get caught!

Arabella grinded the side headlock in before Luna began to get to her feet. She was still locked in the hold, and tried to shoot Arabella off into the ropes. And it worked...kinda. After getting a step away, she grabbed Luna’s hair and yanked her back into the side headlock. A few lefts landed on the top of her head before she snapped her over right back into the seated form of that side headlock.

Zack: I think this may be the first hold we’ve seen all night, Claire. And Arabella’s really determined to keep that headlock applied. That’s a good way to get a cauliflower ear right there.

Claire: I get the feeling Luna is getting frustrated here and I think that might well be Arabella’s gameplan tonight. Get underneath her foes skin and make the most of it. Luna’s not known for her attention span at the best of times.

Luna pounded the mat in irritation as she started getting up again. Arabella was right there with her though, and transitioned into a hammerlock behind her. Luna tried to grab her head with her free hand without much success, and Townshend instead turned it into an atomic drop that sent Luna forward into the ropes. She was walking a little funny for a moment before Arabella snatched her arms behind her into a butterfly suplex into a bridge!

Zack: Shades of Katie Keller right there, and Townshend’s going for three!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOO!!!

Luna’s shoulder came off the mat in time before the three, and she rolled away towards the ropes. Arabella quickly got to her feet, still smiling and mocking Luna by sticking her leg out and asking her if she wanted to go for it.

Claire: You’ve got to admire the way Arabella has controlled this contest from the moment she surprised her opponent. Luna’s got to find a way to stop this building momentum from washing her away.

It was clear that Luna was getting agitated now as Christian tried to give her some advice when she was close to his corner. But Arabella didn’t allow her to hear much of it before she charged in with a running high knee that caught Cortez on the chin. She laid into her with a few right hands before hooking her head to lift her up into a slingshot suplex off the ropes. Townshend floated across her with a leg hook for the cover.

Zack: Arabella wasn’t interested in Luna getting any advice right now, and that slingshot suplex was right out of the textbook!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOO!!!

T-NOPE!!

Luna kicked out again, and shoved Arabella off the cover. Townshend immediately went to get her, but Cortez rolled out of the ring. Christian moved around next to her as she was starting to pace angrily.

Claire: This might be just the break Luna needs to get herself some advice from her manager. Or at the very least break up Townshend’s rhythm in the ring.

Arabella once again didn’t let her stay long before she reached over the top rope, and pulled Luna back onto the apron by her hair. But Cortez was ready for her this time as she grabbed her head and dropped back to the floor. Arabella’s neck snapped across the top rope, sending her backwards coughing before Luna dove back into the ring. She bounced off the near side to deliver a leg lariat to put the Brit down, and then mount her back to bounce her face off the canvas repeatedly. Luna’s anger flashed as she pulled her head up with one hand, and fired forearms across her face with the other arm several times..

Claire: Miss Future Shock America… has gotten herself an opening right and look at her vent her anger! Arabella’s  getting her face rearranged by the ring mat!

Zack: I haven’t seen too many All-American girls acting like that, have you? Arabella definitely got under Luna’s skin.

Cortez slid off to the side, and applied a crossface next. She applied it tightly, and at first, she was covering Arabella’s mouth and nose to stop her breathing. But the referee threatened to break it before Luna slid it under her chin instead with a grumble. With one arm stuck between Luna’s legs, Arabella’s normally pale face was darkening as Luna cranked back on the hold while her manager watched at ringside.

Claire: Luna’s got this hold locked in pretty tightly to trap Arabella right in the middle of the ring. This doesn’t just make it hard for you to breathe, it also puts a huge amount of pressure and torque on your neck too.

Zack: The pearlesque features of Arabella’s face are slowly becoming darkly grim as Luna is trying to make her quit. I’m guessing she was hoping to work the ankle after Impact, but we know how that worked out.

Wilson asked Arabella about stopping the match, but she made it clear she wanted to keep going. Thanks to her longer legs and free hand, she started trying to pull them both towards the ropes. She only managed to make it a few inches before she swung her leg across the bottom rope. And to make sure the referee saw it, she started pointing at her leg with her free hand. Wilson called for the break before Luna looked over her shoulder to see it for herself with a grumble.

Zack: Sometimes having long legs can work in your favor. It certainly helped get Arabella a reprieve, and smart thinking by making sure the referee saw it with her free arm.

Claire: Excellent ring awareness from Townshend to get herself the break but it could well just be momentary. Luna could - and should - easily go back to work on her opponent and look to soften her up further.

Arabella tried to get back to her feet, only for Luna to rush her with a kneelift to the head. She quickly scooped her up and hung her in a tree of woe before rolling out to the floor. Luna moved around behind the post, and started cranking back on Arabella’s chin, pulling her neck against the bottom turnbuckle. Wilson counted four before she let go, and then applied it again for another four count. The Brit fell back to the canvas holding her neck as Luna slid back into the ring under the bottom rope.

Zack: Luna was using that tree of woe almost like a bow and arrow, but Arabella’s body was the string being bent backwards. And it certainly seems like Arabella’s neck is the bullseye tonight for ….Miss Future Shock America.

Claire: We’re seeing a lot of focus being put upon the neck and shoulders of Arabella here. You’ve got to believe Luna is softening her up for something later on in this match to try and put the Brit away.

Arabella started to sit up, only for Luna to drive a knee into her back and then apply a rear chinlock after that. Christian asked the referee for the match time duration so far. And when Wilson went to check with the timekeeper, Luna unrolled some of the wrist tape off her wrist and made a couple wraps of it around Arabella’s neck before applying that rear chinlock again. The referee came back to see Arabella choking in the hold as he was about to answer her manager’s question.

Claire: Christian provides a distraction and Luna takes full advantage. C’mon Wilson, check the hold already. How often do you see someone choking in a rear chinlock?!?

Zack: The referee should have told him to go ask himself since he’s already out there, but be that as it may, you’re right on the money!

Luna seemed to be trying to tighten the grip, and Arabella’s hands came up as she wasn’t trying to grab her arm. She was trying to reach under her arm to get the tape. The official checked it finally, and told her to break the hold. When Luna got up and the referee saw the tape hanging from her wrist, she acted surprised to see it. She immediately started to wrap it back around her wrist as Arabella began to get to her feet. And as the Global Wars competitor went to get her, Luna got pulled into an inverted stomp facebreaker that sent her backwards to the mat. Arabella held the back of her neck as she moved away from her.

Zack: That’s what Arabella needed. She got an opening, and now she has to capitalize quickly. You can tell that neck is giving her fits, but I don’t think this will keep Luna at bay for very long.

Claire: You hit the nail on the head there Zack! Townshend has to try and ignore the pain in her neck and build on this. Stay on Luna, try and keep her on the back foot.

The fans in the arena were chanting for Arabella as she rose to her feet. Luna was already to hers at this point, and went to get her. But Townshend surprised her with a standing sidekick to the abdomen. That stopped Luna for a second, and Arabella started firing kicks into her chest till she dropped to her knees. The British beauty took off for the far side, and returned with a pump kick as Luna was getting up again. It sent the triplet off balance before Arabella charged the ropes. As soon as she rebounded though, Luna caught her with a short knee to the ribs before using a double underhook DDT to plant her head into the mat. She quickly rolled her over for the cover.

Zack: That’s the first cover Luna has gone for since the bell rang! And Arabella got planted!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEE-NOPE!!

Townshend rolled her shoulder off the mat, and Luna grumbled as she transitioned into another hold. She grabbed Arabella’s arm, and immediately went for an anaconda vise before the referee moved into position to check for a submission.

Claire: Luna’s showing impressive focus here. This hold is going to put more pressure back on Arabella’s neck as she looks to put her to sleep too! Arabella needs to find herself an escape as soon as possible!

Christian watched on with a nod of approval as he met Luna’s gaze, prompting her to try to tighten her grip. The referee checked to see if Arabella wanted to stop the match, but she showed no signs of that. The Boston fans were getting behind her all over again as she tried to locate the ropes. Luna tried to shield her vision from seeing them, since they were a lot closer than she might have liked. Arabella tried to feel for them with her free hand, not finding anything. Then she began kicking her leg out, trying to find them that way. And as luck would have it, she got her foot underneath the bottom rope without realizing it. Wilson spotted it, and called for the break. Luna held it as long as she could before releasing it, and Christian encouraged her to pull her to the center and put it on again.

Claire: Arabella fortunate to find the ropes with her questing leg there, but she’s still in big trouble. Luna is rolling here and if she keeps this up, she’ll finish the evening with her hand raised in victory!

Zack: I think Christian’s giving her excellent advice. There’s nothing stopping her from slapping that anaconda vise on a second time after she gets her away from the ropes.

Luna did take his advice and started dragging Arabella by the arm towards the center of the ring. When she reached down to grab her though, Arabella pulled her down a little further and drove a knee into the top of her head. Two more followed that, rocking Luna backwards in a stumble. Arabella made it back to her feet, and dropped Luna with a scissor kick. She stumbled into the ropes, one hand gripping the back of her neck as Luna was slowly stirring face down on the mat.

Zack: I can’t imagine how much it must hurt right now just to turn your head if you’re Arabella. But she’s found herself a new opening, and she might be thinking about that spinning powerbomb of hers to put this away sooner than later.

Claire: She certainly doesn’t want to give Luna any further opportunity to go to work on her neck or lock in another submission hold. She has to be thinking about that spinning powerbomb and do whatever she feels she has to in order to deliver it.

Luna began to rise as Arabella pulled her into a rear waistlock. She turned it into a full nelson facebuster before getting back to her feet. Townshend spun her hand over her head as she stood over Luna, and began to pull her up into position for the powerbomb she used as a finisher.

Zack: You want to talk about impact! Luna’s face hit the mat like a brick, and Arabella’s giving us the call sign!

Claire: Luna’s about to go for a spin cycle and she’s not going to like the landing. Not one little bit!!

She pulled Luna’s head between her legs, and lifted her up to deliver her spinning powerbomb that bounced Cortez off the mat. She hooked both legs as she rolled over the top of her to make the cover!

Zack: And that was it, HELLO BOMBSHELLE!!!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Wilson called for the bell, and Arabella immediately crawled to the ropes to take a seat against them. One hand rubbed the back of her neck for a moment until she got to her feet, and had her hand raised by the referee.

Claire: Luna certainly did a number on Arabella’s neck tonight and showed us some new skills inside the ring, but Townshend managed to snatch victory and Miss Future Shock America head to Global Wars on the back of a loss.

Lexi: Your winner by pinfall……………….ARABELLA TOWNSHEND!!

The announcement brought a smile to her tired expression before Arabella stepped through the ropes and out to the floor.

Zack: I think these two women have shown us and Mikayla that she’s gonna have to deal with some new wrinkles in their arsenals when she faces either of them. On top of that, the Global Wars series begins on our next broadcast!

Claire: Mikayla is certainly going to have her work cut out for her and will be in for a long night whenever she faces them with the Nova Championship on the line.

Zack: Two weeks from night, Global Wars begins and I’ve already been informed of one of the matches we’re going to see, Claire! It’ll be Italy versus Northern Ireland!

Claire: Alessandra meets the Million Dollar Baby.....that’s going to be one heck of a way to kick start Global Wars and Esposito had better be ready for anything. You can never tell what Kyle and Cait will cook up to try and get themselves an advantage!!

Arabella greets a few of the fans as she walks along the barricade towards the back as Future Shock fades off the air.
