Live from Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York
November 28, 2020

The FFW logo is shown on the entrance of what looks like an office building out of the 1950s Chicago before the camera heads inside, and into a room where three men in suits sit around a desk in front of a blonde woman in a fedora. Smoke fills the room, as two cigars are resting in an ashtray still lit. A bulletin board on the walls shows locations marked and a picture of the FFW Champion with a crosshairs on the FFW Championship.

Voice: I want you to find her, and bring her to me. Make sure she has the title with her when you do. She’s useless to me without it.

First things first
I'ma say all the words inside my head
I'm fired up and tired of the way that things have been, oh-ooh
The way that things have been, oh-ooh

“Believer” by Imagine Dragons begins to play as the camera pans around to show the woman in a suit and fedora is Savannah Star. The three men at the table look at the picture of Missy on the wall before the “Las Vegas Siren” slides two photos across the table: one of Valentina Lozano and Valerie McFarlane.

Hood: You want we should find these two broads too?

Savannah: No, I know where they are. I’ll take care of them myself. They are the way to get to her. Pack up for New York, boys.

Second thing second
Don't you tell me what you think that I could be
I'm the one at the sail, I'm the master of my sea, oh-ooh
The master of my sea, oh-ooh

The three hoods nod and head out of the office, bustling past a hallway. They pass through the door towards a waiting car before the camera pans around to see a British brunette around the corner walking in the opposite direction with a titanium title over her shoulder. As Lilly heads into a flower shop, we are now looking through a pair of binoculars staring down at her before Kyle gives the nod to Valerie McKinley before she heads down the fire escape to follow after her. The redhead passes someone reading a newspaper, which gets pulled down to reveal it’s Cassandra Steen who starts to tail the redhead.

Pain!
You made me a, you made me a believer, believer
Pain!
You break me down and build me up, believer, believer
Pain!
Oh, let the bullets fly, oh, let them rain

As they head into the flower shop, Kyle steps into the backseat of a car along with Cait Flanagan, who happens to be admiring a picture of the Future Shock Diamond Championship….and less so the waist it sits around. She takes out a red marker, drawing a big X over Carys as well as a picture of Madyson before the car speeds away. We then go to a live shot of two red fireworks shooting past one another in another red X as the show goes live inside the arena. The song continues to play as the camera pans the arena, and shows the Crossed Out logo on the mat before we hear the broadcast team.

Zack: Welcome to the World’s Most Famous Arena! Welcome to New York City! Welcome to the first annual FFW Crossed Out! You are seeing and hearing 20, 718 fans who have sold out the Garden tonight to see who gets Crossed Out in a night dedicated to elimination matches! Thank you for joining us around the world on FFW All Access!

Dante: Can we go ahead and have the No Surrender Championship match yet? Because I mean that’s the match that matters most to me tonight. I know Cassandra is ready to reclaim a title that was stolen from her at Unstoppable.

Zack: STOLEN?! No, we’re not having that match first! Our main event will determine the #1 contender to the FFW Championship when Savannah Star meets Valentina Lozano and Valerie McFarlane in a triple threat elimination showdown!

Dante: Yeah yeah. Cait Flanagan will become the new Future Shock Diamond Championship tonight when she eliminates both Madyson Stone and Carys McFarlane singlehandedly. I know she isn’t one of your favorites.

Zack: Cait’s got a tall task ahead of her in our Future Shock spotlight match. It’ll also be 2 out of 3 falls for the Phoenix Championship when Rose Gardner challenges Harley Shannon! We’ll crown the next challengers to the Unity titles in a tag team elimination match as NHB meets the Midnight Storm.

Dante: I’m going to be pulling for Tara Cortez when she becomes the next challenger to the Phoenix Championship after getting rid of pipsqueak Rikar and Angel tonight. Not to mention we get to see Dawn refereeing a match with Nevaeh and Luci before facing the winner immediately after the match is over.

Zack: Yeah...because that’s really fair too. Both of those women want to get their hands on Dawn, but if either of them touch her before the winner’s match with her starts...she wins by forfeit!  There’s a lot on the line tonight, to say the least! So let’s send it up to our Aussie ring announcer, and start seeing people get...CROSSED OUT!

The camera heads to the ring with the beaming face of Kat Grayson standing in the center of the ring in a blue sequin dress before she lifts the microphone to begin the introductions.

Kat: The opening contest of Crossed Out is a Triple Threat Elimination Match and it is for a shot at the FFW Phoenix Championship.

The dark, haunting opening chords of Kamelot’s “Liar Liar” fill the arena as it is bathed in silver strobes. As the drums and guitar kick in, the lights in the arena flash a deep red and orange, coming down then to show two people on the ramp, a man and a woman, The woman is Angel, and the man Christian Kincaid. Angel is down on bended knee, fist pushed into the ramp. She comes up without warning and as she does, flashes of fire go off all around her.

Would you pray if I said you were dying?
Would you be a little stronger, or fall down on your knees?
Would you stay with me if you knew that I was lying?
Would you walk away or turn the other cheek?

I tremble where I stand,
My wish is your command,
The nature of a truly desperate heart.
Give me something real so I can truly feel,
(Liar liar) on the wall.

As the verse and bridge are played, Angel and Christian make their way down the ramp, the platinum blond deliberately keeping as far from any fan contact that she can. At the bottom of the ramp, she stops and looks out around her while Christian has headed to her corner.

Kat: Making her way to the ring, please welcome ANGEL!

Whisper, whisper in the dark,
Tell me what you see.
Poisoned by your fly-infested poetry.
Liar, Liar on the wall, give the world to me.
Wasteland or a monarchy (liar liar)
Tell me what you see…

Angel walks up the steps and through the middle rope, where she heads to her corner and waits for Christian to hop up to share some last minute things with her and the music goes out. Christian then heads towards the back.

Zack: Angel was the first ever Phoenix Champion, and that’s a championship she’d be very eager to get her hands on again. But she has her work cut out for her.

Dante: Not if she was just facing the pipsqueak she wouldn’t, but the third part of this match...she’s a bit more trouble.

Strobing Red and White Lights appear throughout the arena as ‘Timebomb’ begins. The music stops and the arena goes dark. Then a bright red light shines down on the ring. Another lights up the aisle, then another as the aisle illuminates all the way up to the stage. The video screen slowly shines in red, with emblazoned letters spelling out: Jana Rikar.

Kat: From Virginia Beach, Virginia, weighing in at 115 pounds, the ‘Time Bomb’ Jana Rikar!!!

The music starts again. Wearing a red and white robe, Jana slowly rises through the stage, the red letters on the screen changing into white. The red light shining on her entrance changes to white as she holds up her left hand. Slowly walking down the aisle, each red light changes to white until she reaches the ring. She looks out at the crowd and climbs up onto the steps. Jana slowly raises her left hand again, and the light shining down onto the ring, changes from red to white as she enters the ring.   Heading towards the corner, she takes off the robe, showing white knee-high boots, red leggings, a red and white patterned top. She holds up two fingers on her right hand covered with a black glove.

Zack: It’s hard not to like Jana Rikar. She has picked up some impressive wins since arriving in FFW this past fall.

Dante: Speak for yourself. I don’t find it particularly hard to dislike her. Luckily she’s going to get put in her place momentarily.

Look out, they're closing in on you now
Wake up, or you’ll wake up six feet down
Nobody's got your back in this town
Knock 'em. In the. Teeth. NOW!

The intro to Set It Off's "Killer in the Mirror" starts on the sound system, and lights start blinking in random colors as Tara Cortez struts onto the entrance ramp, with her manager Christian Kincaid right there with her. She stops right before the descent and pulls off a short dance move, crouching down only and taking a spin, proceeding to get back up, sliding her palms against her midriff before raising her hands her head... Only to nonchalantly wave the booing audience off as she brings her arms down again. Blowing raspberries, she then starts strutting down the entrance ramp, shaking her head at the fans in attendance as she makes her way to the ring.

Kat: And their opponent, escorted to the ring by Christian Kincaid... From Fort Worth, Texas... "The 10-Star Prodigy..." TARA CORTEZ!

When Tara climbs into the ring, she makes her way to the ropes facing the hard camera, leaning onto them and posing for the audience, moving her arms much like in the same way she did earlier with her starting dance, raising her hands up high again, only to then wave the crowd off once again before she hops back down to the ring, making her way to her corner and sharing some last minute strategy with Christian.

Zack: Tara Cortez was one of the most successful women to ever come out of Future Shock, and she’s set her sights on the Phoenix Championship. She may be the odds on favorite here.

Dante: That’s incorrect. “She may be” is not accurate. She absolutely is. No two ways about it.

Referee Ashley Pruitt gives a cursory check to all three women before calling for the bell to get the match underway. All three converge in the centre of the ring, but Angel and Tara all but ignore Jana as they quickly start firing shots at each other. Neither really has the upperhand as they trade blows back and forth, with Jana watching on and letting them get on with it. Tara attempts to catch Angel with a chop to the throat, but the Platinum haired wrestler blocks it and smashes Tara with a forearm to the jaw instead for her troubles. A second follows in quick succession, but Tara blocks the third and clocks Angel across the jaw with a quick elbow shot.

Zack: Tara has faced and defeated both of these women in recent weeks on the way here tonight. So it’s more incumbent on Angel and Jana, I think, to get rid of her first.

Dante: It’s every woman for herself though, Hudson. You think they are gonna team up? I wouldn’t trust Angel as far as I could throw her.

Angel staggers a couple of steps backwards until Tara grabs her by the head and brings her down to deliver a single knee facebreaker. The former Phoenix Champion gets quickly back up to her feet only for Tara to then drop her head first to the canvas with a DDT. Tara gets back to her feet quickly and rolls her eyes at the boos from the New York crowd and then gives a little shake of her head. Angel pops straight back up to her feet again and turns Cortez around to hit her with a headbutt that knocks her back several steps. A big boot from the platinum haired wrestler connects with Tara’s chest knocking her back into the ropes, before a clothesline on the rebound takes the triplet all the way down to the canvas.

Dante: Tara is easily the biggest threat in this match, and Angel realizes that probably better than the pipsqueak since she’s been here way longer.

Zack: Her name is Jana. You know that. But I’ll let it slide considering what I know is ahead for you.

Angel invites Tara to get back to her feet, which she ignores and takes her own sweet time about. Angel advances on Tara when she finally does get to her feet only for Cortez to shove the former Phoenix Champion roughly in the chest. Angel plants her feet to keep from staggering backwards before she starts to aim vicious blows at the triplet. Tara tries to cover up at first before she starts firing her own shots back. The two start to trade blows back and forth, while Jana watches on, clearly starting to get bored of not being in the action. Rikar walks up behind Tara and kicks her in the butt sending her stumbling forwards into Angel, and knocking Angel back a few steps in the process. The New York crowd pops as she gives a little shrug and grin.

Zack: Sounds like this Garden crowd is behind the “Time Bomb” tonight, and honestly I’d love to see her challenging for the Phoenix Championship.

Dante: Well maybe she’ll be in next year’s video game and you can have her do it there. It’s not happening in reality.

As the two pull themselves together and start to shake off the shock, Jana grabs them both by the wrist and whips them across into the ropes. As they rebound off, Jana catches Angel with a clothesline to send her to the canvas with a thud, but Tara manages to dodge out of the way of her arm and continue onto the opposite ropes. Jana measures before delivering a knee drop into Angel’s chest and then immediately throws her arm over for the cover prompting Pruitt to move into position for the count.

Dante: Look at the pipsqueak trying to steal the win here!

ONE!!!

Angel kicks out quickly and Jana moves just as quickly to get to her feet to try and deliver a second knee drop to Angel’s gut but the Platinum blonde wants none of it and quickly rolls out of the way leaving Jana to hit the canvas knee first with a thud instead.

Zack: It takes a lot to keep Angel down.  That’s something one of your favorites knows well, referring to Lacey.

Angel gets back to her feet a fraction of a second before Tara reaches her, and as soon as she does she charges as Jana as she stands up holding her knee. Jana quickly manages to duck down under her arm to avoid the oncoming clothesline and spins around to hit her with a forearm across the back of her neck. Rickar attempts to go for a second but Tara reaches her before she can land it and spins her around to grab her by the wrist. The Cortez triplet pulls her towards her and uses a short-arm clothesline to put her down on the canvas. Jana pops straight back up to her feet, only to find Angel waiting for her. The former Phoenix Champion gets her into a straightjacket position before lifting her up to use a straightjacket suplex to almost put her through the canvas.

Zack: Look at that! That was right out of the textbook! Angel’s been adding to her game.

Dante: You have to constantly be improving in FFW. When you stop trying, you stop winning. Simple as that.

Angel makes to get into position for a cover, but Tara puts paid to that idea by booting Angel straight in the face and sending her toppling backwards. Tara rolls her over onto her front using her foot, then grabs her leg to apply an ankle lock that gets a grunt of discomfort from the platinum haired wrestler. Cortez drops her knee into Angel’s back and then adds more pressure to her ankle making her yell in pain. Jana gets back to her feet holding her back a little and makes her way over to Tara and the trapped Angel. Rikar begins to drive her forearm across Tara’s back repeatedly causing her to drive her knee even harder into Angel’s back. Still keeping her hold on Angel’s ankle, Tara attempts to catch Jana with a back elbow but only manages a glancing blow which doesn’t deter Jana in the slightest.

Dante: Tara isn’t letting go of that ankle for anything, but it’s not letting nail the pipsqueak at full power.

Zack: Well maybe she should release the hold, and give Jana her attention fully. Not that I’m telling Tara what to do.

The Cortez triplet is forced to release her hold as Jana pulls her up to her feet by her head, allowing Angel to roll out of the way clutching her ankle. Jana catches Tara and traps her in a side lock before ramming her knee into her gut repeatedly. Releasing the headlock, she grabs her and uses a hip toss to send Tara down to the canvas. Rather than attempt another cover at this point, Jana pulls Tara back up to her feet and fires her into the corner. Tara hits the turnbuckle back first and Jana follows her in with a shoulder thrust that hits with such force that it almost lifts the triplet off her feet. Another series of knees into Tara’s gut follows before Jana pulls her out of the corner and uses a running bulldog to plant her face first on the canvas. She quickly throws her arm over for the cover getting a pop from the New York crowd.

Zack: The Garden is on their feet, and Jana could have a huge elimination right now!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPE!!!

The count stops just after the two as Angel grabs Rikar and pulls her backwards off the cover.

Dante: There’s no way she was going to catch Tara off guard, but Angel apparently wants the cover herself.

Angel pulls Jana up to her feet and straight into a headbutt that staggers the Virginia native backwards. Before she can regain her balance a second follows that knocks her back into the ropes. A trio of knees to Rikar’s gut follows, bending her forwards, before another knee to her face stands her back upright. Another knee to her gut bends her forwards again, and Angel gets her into position to use a spiked DDT to send her to the canvas with a thud. The platinum blonde quickly gets into position for a cover prompting Pruitt to slide back into place for the count.

Dante: I think she was trying to make her head a permanent part of the ring there!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

TH-NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Jana gets her shoulder up before the three and immediately drives her shoulder into Angel’s nose to send her scrambling backwards off the cover.

Zack: Jana is as durable and resilient as anyone you would want to find in FFW, which is impressive considering how short her career has been thus far.

Jana moves quickly to get back to her feet before Angel can fully gather her bearings and delivers her heart punch to the former Phoenix Champion fully flattening her back to the canvas. Rather than go straight for the cover the Virginia native takes off towards the ropes and then delivers a springboard rope-assisted fist drop from the middle rope. Without skipping a beat she quickly hooks both of Angel’s legs as Pruitt once again gets back into position.

Zack: What a shot!! I don’t think Angel’s gonna get up from that!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Pruitt gets back to her feet to speak to Kat as Jana rolls off the cover onto her knees and Angel rolls out of the ring to be greeted by Christian who gives her a few words of encouragement before she heads off towards the back.

Kat: ANGEL HAS BEEN ELIMINATED!

Dante: Well you got one right so far, congratulations on that, I guess. But that just means she’s in even deeper waters now with Tara.

Zack: Rikar has just eliminated a former Phoenix Champion, that’s something to be proud of! But you’re right, Tara awaits!

Tara kicks Jana in the back with a soccer style kick before she has a chance to get back to her feet and then keeps firing kick after kick into the downed Virginia native’s lower back as she attempts to roll away. Rikar starts to pull herself up to her feet, only for Tara to immediately pull her down into a roll up, prompting Pruitt to dash into position for the count.

Zack: Cortez is trying to catch her off guard here, let’s see if it works.

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NO!!!

Jana kicks out before the referee can count the free and Tara storms back to her feet looking less than pleased.

Dante: Well she’s a little brighter than I thought she was, but that’s more like damning with faint praise.

With the crowd showing their disdain for her, Tara pulls Jana up to her feet and hits her with a spinning heel kick which staggers her backwards into the corner and then uses a monkey flip to send her straight back out again and down to the canvas. Tara theatrically raises her two hands in the air and yell “TEN STARS!” at the crowd which gets her nothing but disdain in return from them. Cortez doesn’t seem too bothered by that as she watches for Jana to start getting to her feet, as soon as she does Tara uses the ropes to springboard and land a diving elbow drop into Rikar’s shoulder knocking her down to her knees. A hurricanrana follows from the triplet to put Jana fully down on the canvas.

Dante: Nicely done, Tara! Now put this little imp away once and for all.

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-WAIT!!!

The Virginia native kicks out before Pruitt can call the three and comes back up to her feet, shaking herself off as she does.

Zack: I’m sure she’d like to, but she hasn’t found the key to doing it tonight so far.

Tara rose back to her feet, shaking her head before she headed for the ropes to execute her slingshot corkscrew Arabian press! The move landed flush before she hooked the outside leg for the cover!

Dante: Ha, and there’s the C-BOMB!!

ONE!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

The referee called for the bell as Tara got back to her feet, dusting her hands before she got her hand raised in victory. Christian joined her in the ring to congratulate her.

Kat: Your winner and the new #1 contender to the Phoenix Championship……..’10 STAR’ TARA CORTEZ!!

Zack: Tara Cortez is building a lot of momentum for herself, and she heads into 2021 with a shot at the Phoenix Championship!

Dante: And I predict she’ll take it. Tara’s hard to get past when there’s gold on the line, and I don’t think anyone in the division can topple her. Angel nor this chick could do it.

Christian held the ropes open for his client to leave the ring before he followed her out. As the pair headed towards the back with her music playing, the show went to a commercial for upcoming programming on FFW All Access.

Power Play

After a short commercial for Relentless coming in March on FFW All Access, the show cuts to both Casey Atherton and her recently acquired manager in the form of Dante Knox. “Recorded Earlier…” appears on the top corner of the video as the two are shown outside the office of the owner of FFW somewhere in Madison Square Garden.

Dante: A travesty has occurred now twice as it pertains to the Evolution Championship, a title that was stolen twice by the same woman! Scarlett Silver absconded with it during Casey’s Championship Celebration...and then stole it again at Velocity a little over two weeks ago. And do you know who I blame for that? Do you know who is at the root of this whole thing? None other than a seethingly jealous woman by the name of Dr. Starla McCloud, who made the match at Velocity. Not only did she book my client without her prior approval, she also put it on Velocity rather than Crossed Out! You see, this is an effort to undermine Casey’s reign. And’that’s why we are outside the office of the woman in charge of this company, to whom we will demand justice for Casey. Let’s get that trending on social media, #JusticeForCasey!

Casey: Starla has always been jealous of me - it’s her demon. She has never been able to stomach me enjoying any success. Not unless she could somehow profiteer from it herself and recent events have just solidified that. Acting as a fifth columnist during MY Championship Celebration by singing my praises on the video wall for the whole world to see and then using - NO!! ABUSING her position of power within this company to try and set myself up for failure by forcing me into a defence on Velocity against a thief. And what’s more, a thief who had done nothing to deserve her opportunity. Honestly, it’s taking my entire strength of will to continue to be the bigger woman; to continue to forgive her for waging this campaign against me.

Dante: Truer words never spoken. And now we--

Dante starts to knock on the door before it opens. It actually opens before his hand ever touches it, and a familiar redhead steps out of the boss’ office. But not the redhead either of them were hoping to see. Instead it was the No Surrender Commissioner herself.

Dante: If it isn’t Starla Hussein! We’re not here to talk with you. THere’s nothing to talk about. We’re here for #JusticeForCasey. And we want her rematch for the Evolution Championship that her contract entitles her to have!

Starla: You two are both crazy. You’re verifiably insane.

She directed the last comment to Casey before she turned to Dante.

Starla: And you feed her delusions. One day it will come back to bite you in your Non-Canadian ass. As for her contract, I’m well aware what was stipulated in it and I’m well aware that there’s no time limit as to when she gets that rematch. It could be tonight...or January...or December 2025…

The good doctor grinned at them both.

Starla: And if I were you, I wouldn’t bother talking to Samantha about it. I already know what she’ll tell you. She’ll tell you that you both need to speak to the woman who has temporary oversight over the Evolution Division...the woman who will get to make Evolution title matches, name Evolution title contenders. I hear she already has a pretty good shortlist of people that she deems worthy of a prestigious opportunity.

Dante looks towards his newest client.

Dante: Besides you, the only two women I know of who would fit that role best is Cassandra and Mileena. Funny that neither of them told me about a promotion.

Starla put an arm around Dante’s shoulder, leaning in as if to share a secret with him.

Starla: That’s because, Knox, my boy, neither of them got the job. No. No. The woman you want to talk to about your rematch is a woman who apparently only wants to share Casey’s spotlight; who is jealous of her every success and has waged an unfair and biased war against your newest client, determined to undermine her through some kind of imaginary abuse of power.

She paused for a moment and looked at him with a big, huge grin.

Starla: Have you guessed who it is yet?

Casey: Oh….Dear...Molly…. The Lord truly does move in mysterious ways. He really is trying to test my faith and belief in him to the utmost.

Dante’s face turned from defiant to almost looking as though he were going to tear up at this. He was silent for a moment before finally responding.

Dante: You’ve already destroyed the No Surrender division with your biased favoritism towards Lilly Arthur and not fine and suspending all the women in Future Shock who conspired with her to steal my client’s title. Why would anyone give you more oversight over another division?!

Starla: You have your version of events. Personally I like to think that the No Surrender Division is as strong as it’s ever been and getting better and better. It would seem like that’s a sentiment that’s shared by a lot of people too.  That might be why I’ve temporarily been given oversight over another division.

Casey: You KNOW I’m owed that shot. You know that if it wasn’t for my inspirational messages, my wise teachings...my spreading of the words of the Lord, you wouldn’t have this opportunity. You also know it’s FAIR that I get my rematch and the chance to become a two time Evolution Champion. You wouldn’t want to provide any more evidence by denying me that would you?

Dante: We DEMAND that rematch on a stage befitting a woman of Casey’s stature, also fine and suspending both Mikayla Stone and Arabella Townshend in Future Shock too.

Starla: If you want to spend so much time in a shark cage suspended above the ring that you end up paying rent to Miss Star, you just keep on making demands, Dante. As for Mikayla and Arabella, there’s no chance in Hell of them getting fined or suspended - especially not after the amount of time that’s elapsed. Secondly, you’ll be glad to know that I’ve already made a decision on when Casey will get her rematch. She won’t even have to wait that long.

Casey: It was one heck of a way to kick off 2020, with the Evolution Championship changing hands and it would be one heck of a first main event of 2021 for the same thing to happen again. Brilliant decision Starla. Just brilliant. Scarlett won’t stand a chance against me and the forces of good.

Starla: Nope. That’s not gonna happen, I’m afraid, Case. I’ve got something much bigger than that planned. Think about it. A storied arena, one that has played a huge part in FFW history - that was the site of the very first show no less. One of the biggest shows of the year, live on FFW All Access, we’ll pit two fierce warriors. One title. That’s right Dante, at the eighth annual Relentless spectacular, it’ll be Scarlett Silver defending the Evolution Championship, one of the most prestigious titles in all of wrestling against the preposterous prophet Casey Atherton. In a ladder match!!

The red haired official grinned as she slapped Dante on the back.

Starla: I think that more than fills your criteria doesn’t it? I’m surprised you’re not dancing a jig. Having a little Canadian Hoedown in joy there.

Dante: Relentless, huh? I promise you Casey will ascend that ladder like an angel ascending into heaven and finally reclaim what was stolen from her. Twice, as a matter of fact. I’m slightly offended it wasn’t returned to her without even needing a match, but I mean look who we’re dealing with.

Starla: Keep talking Dante. I could still change my mind and make Casey here wait until the ninth or tenth annual Relentless to get that rematch.  Or maybe even get her to prove that she deserves to be number one contender. Like I said, I’ve got a long list of wrestlers who would be worthy challengers. Some of them without obnoxious managers.

Dante: I don’t think Kincaid is that bad personally, but you’re entitled to your own beliefs, I suppose.

He then ignored Starla to give Casey his attention.

Dante: The only thing better than being an Evolution Champion is to do it twice! I’m positive you can strike down the face of thievery and recapture what you never lost, in my view. And likely that of the Lord.

Casey nodded her head enthusiastically.

Casey: Exactly. It is the work of the Lord. It is his will that I prove myself again in the crucible of battle. That I face a demon; a succubus thief turned flesh! I will smite Scarlett Silver down! And in the City of Angels I will ascend a stairway to heaven, reach up and from the hand of the Lord I will receive the Evolution Championship and will be anointed as HIS Champion, bringing his message to the masses and leading them one and all towards salvation! And no red haired harridan on a power trip will be able to stand in my way.

A graphic shows us the match just announced for Relentless for the Evolution Championship before the show heads back to the ring.

Kat: The following match is an Elimination Tag Team Match to determine the number one contenders to the FFW Unity Tag Team Championships!!

Zack: Like Kat just said, we’re about to find out the next challengers for the Unity titles. And I think either one of these teams has what it takes to dethrone the Privileged Circle.

Dante: Of course, you do. They are two of your favorite teams. You’re always biased towards your favorites. You need to take a page from my broadcasting playbook.

The video wall goes black for a second before clouds come rolling in over a city skyline. Thunder rumbles and lightning strikes before the video cuts to highlights of Mila and Caitlyn’s previous match. When Gives You Hell by The All-American Rejects starts to play, they both step out onto the stage. Caitlyn bounces on her heels with a smile as she hears the crowd, while Mila cracks her knuckles. And when Storm takes off towards the ring, Mila walks behind her with a steely expression before they hit the ring.

Kat: At a total combined weight of 255 pounds, they are “MIDNIGHT” MILA MARTIN and CAITLYN STORM…...THE MIDNIGHT STORM!!

Mila stretches her legs against the ropes as Caitlyn bounces on her feet with enthusiasm. They turn their attention to the ramp, awaiting their opponents.

Zack: The Midnight Storm haven’t had all the experience, or even close to it really, that their opponents have. But I think that might work in their favor, since there’s not a ton of tape to watch on them to prepare.

Dante: You think either of these teams actually watches tape of their opponents? You’re giving them both way more credit than they deserve.

“Deuce” by Kiss begins to play, Jem runs out of the back and onto the stage area, sprinting across to the far side and bouncing on the balls of her feet as she encourages the crowd to get a little louder. Charging across to the other side of the stage, she once more cheerleaders before heading back to the middle of the stage. Meeting her partner there the two girls double high five and turn it into a hug that breaks as Jem charges down to the ring, sliding underneath the bottom rope. Angela follows her down the ramp, slapping hands with fans. Jem pops up to her feet and makes a tour of the corners, climbing to the middle turnbuckle and throwing her hands into the air to get a cheer from the crowd before moving onto the next one. As Angela reaches the ring she walks hops up onto the apron and raises one clenched fist in the air before she enters the ring and walks to the NHB corner to await the start of the match.

Kat: Approaching the ring at a combined weight of 306 lbs, the team of Jem Michaels and Angela Hinchcliffe...NO HOLDING BACK!!!

Zack: You don’t get to this level with a match of this importance if you don’t do your homework on your opponents.

Dante: Says you. Have you ever actually seen them watching anything? I’m pretty sure Caitlyn only watches Disney Plus, which is great if she’s about to take on someone from the Little Mermaid.

Robert Valero was the official in charge of the contest and watched as the four competitors headed towards the middle of the ring and exchanged fist bumps before retreating to their corners; the referee asking them to decide who was starting for both teams. NHB decided quickly between themselves that Jem would start as Caitlyn told Mila that she had this and as Martin and Hinchcliffe took up their positions on the apron, Valero called for the bell. As it sounded Jem skipped out of her corner, swinging her arms and rolling her head from shoulder to shoulder as she stayed loose while Caitlyn performed a couple of quick hamstring stretches before finally the pair locked up in a collar elbow tie up. Caitlyn started to get the upper hand only for Michaels to drop down to her back and took Storm down to the mat with an armdrag.

Dante: Why couldn’t you have found someone else to help you call this match? I don’t like either one of these teams.

Zack: Don’t worry about it. From what I’ve been hearing, you won’t have to call too many more matches in FFW at all.

Caitlyn rolled back through to her feet and immediately caught a dropkick to the chest from her opponent, causing her to fall back against the ropes as Michaels hopped back up to her feet and caught Storm as she bounced off the ropes with a monkey flip that sent her back to the middle of the ring. Again Storm came quickly back up to her feet but was sent straight back to the canvas with a headscissors takedown courtesy of the veteran. Again the bubbly blonde rolled through and began to come to her feet once more as Jem dropped back to the ropes, firing herself off them and across the ring where she left her feet to deliver a flying forearm. Again Caitlyn hit the canvas and rolled to the side before she started to come to her feet and Storm found herself slammed into the mat as the red haired Englishwoman caught her with a one handed bulldog.

Dante: What do you mean I won’t have to call too many more FFW matches? What are you talking about?

Zack: Why ruin the surprise? It’s just a rumor, could be wrong.

Michaels quickly came to her feet, giving her opponent no time to recover as she took off towards the ropes once more, coming back towards her rising foe and rattled her teeth with a knee lift to the jaw. Storm stumbled backwards a step only for Jem to hook her head and yank her downwards into a small package pinfall.

Dante: Caitlyn’s actually dim enough to fall for this, so let’s see.

Zack: Beg to differ on that entirely, but Storm has too much energy left in the tank yet.

Caitlyn kicked out and rolled to the side and to one knee as Jem knelt on the mat with a smile on her face. Storm nodded her head once in acknowledgement as she pushed herself up to her feet. Jem likewise made it back to a vertical base and the pair circled the ring for a moment before Storm kicked her foot up onto the top rope, looking to stretch out her leg while she adjusted her kickpad for a moment before she brought her foot down to the mat and circled Jem once more. As Michaels suddenly darted forwards, only for Caitlyn to raise her boot, catching her in the chest and causing the Sheffield native to stagger backwards. Storm came forwards and delivered a quick martial arts style kick into Jem’s hip, followed by a second and a third. Michaels went to block a fourth kick to her hip only for Storm to surprise her with a question mark kick that staggered Michaels, causing her to stumble to the side. As the veteran got her balance, the bubbly blonde darted past her, hopping up onto the middle rope and caught Jem with the Storm Rising springboard spinning heel kick to the jaw. Immediately Caitlyn made the cover and hooked the leg.

Zack: That’s STORM RISING, and Jem might be hitting the showers early!

...THREEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!NNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dante: Sadly no, which means this match has more left to go than I’d prefer.

Jem’s shoulder came up from the mat in the nick of time and Caitlyn looked to the referee, three fingers raised only to get a shake of the head as two fingers where lifted to the blonde. Caitlyn nodded as she pulled Michaels up to her feet and grabbed hold of her wrist to Irish whip her across the ring and into the Midnight Storm corner. As Michaels hit the turnbuckle pads, Caitlyn sprinted towards her and left her feet to drive a jumping knee strike into her jaw before she stepped backwards, grabbing hold of the top rope and jabbed five swift vicious kicks into her foes midriff before she stood upright and made the tag to Mila. As Martin stepped through the ropes, Caitlyn pulled Jem out of the corner, spinning her around and jerking her downwards into a backstabber. Michaels bounced back off her knees and into Midnight’s grip, the technical wrestler scooping her fellow Englishwoman off her feet. Storm rolled out of the ring as her partner drove the No Holding Back member into the mat with the London Calling Michinoku Driver. Immediately Mila made the pin with a hook of the leg.

Zack: Jem got planted with LONDON CALLING, and we’re three seconds from a bell, I bet!

One…

Two…

...THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!NNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dante: I didn’t expect the Storm to do this well. I figured they’d already be a dimwit down by this point.

Again Jem’s shoulder came up from the canvas and Mila confirmed the count with the referee as she pulled Michaels upwards and shoved her backwards into the Midnight Storm corner, Caitlyn stepping away and holding her hands up while her partner lowered her shoulder and delivered a series of five stiff shoulder thrusts into the red head’s midsection. The referee called for the break, asking the army veteran to let her opponent out of the corner before he started to use the count, getting to four before Martin pulled her forwards and sent her flying with a belly to belly suplex.

Dante: I still want to hear about this rumor you heard that I wouldn’t be calling matches much longer in FFW.

Zack: Well you said to me a while back to me you were signed through the end of the year. Usually they try to renew deals this close to expiration...if they want you, I mean.

Jem landed hard on her back and sat up, holding her back before Mila headed towards her, starting to pull her up to her feet. As she did so, Michaels started to fire up, firing a forearm into her gut before she straightened up and started to land rapid fire shots to Martin’s chest. As Mila stepped backwards, Jem measured her up and fired off a savate kick that connected with her jaw. Martin staggered backwards and was quickly scooped off her feet as Michaels body slammed her to the canvas and staggered backwards to the ropes. The veteran wrestler leaned backwards against the ropes for a moment, watching as Martin quickly came back to her feet before Jem charged forwards and delivered a big boot to her head, sending her down to the mat. Quickly the No Holding Back member headed towards the corner where she pushed up onto the middle rope where she stood up and went for an elbow drop.

Zack: Jem looking to drop that elbow, but Mila wasn’t home for it, wash she?

Dante: Well if you can move out of the way of a move, why wouldn’t you?

Mila rolled out of the way at the last moment, causing Jem to hit the mat hard with her elbow. Michaels cradled the joint as came back to her feet only for Martin to snap her head backwards with a European uppercut before she slammed a boot into her gut to double her over and spiked her head into the canvas with a snap DDT. The red haired wrestler rolled away and began to come to her feet only for Martin to pull her the rest of the way upwards and straight into the Midnight Hour. The Army Veteran drilled Jem face first into the mat with her Unprettier and wasted no time at all in rolling her over and making the cover, hooking the leg as she did so.

Zack: MIDNIGHT HOUR, and I’ve not seen anyone kick out of this!

One…

Two…

...THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!NNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dante: Apparently neither has Angela, because she just had to save Jem’s ass there. Smarter than she looks!

Jem didn’t move a muscle as Angela entered the ring and dove forwards desperately, breaking up the cover in the nick of time. Mila stared up at Angela from her knees as Angela headed back to her corner with a shrug of her shoulders and tried to rally the crowd behind her partner. Midnight nodded her head as she pulled Jem up to her feet and walked towards the Midnight Storm corner, pulling her head downwards into a raised knee strike that sent her backwards into the corner. Quickly Mila spun around and drive an elbow strike into the side of her head. Three more followed that before Mila pulled her opponent out of the corner and into a snapmare takedown to the canvas. Martin drove a boot into the red head’s spine before she made the tag to Jem once more.

Zack: Jem’s been in the ring way too long for my liking. She’s long overdue to make a tag, or this won’t last much longer.

Dante: They both probably came into this match thinking it was going to be a night off for them, and are getting shown up for it.

As the tag was made, Jem rolled over to her hands and knees which saw her pulled upwards by Mila as both members of the Midnight Storm delivered the Darkness From Above, aided snap swinging neckbreaker. Caitlyn made the cover as Midnight met Angela as she entered the ring, catching her around the waist as she tried to stop her from breaking up the cover; Angela trying to break her grip with knees to the chest.

Zack: Angela’s looking to make the save, but I don’t think Mila’s gonna let her!

One…

Two…

...THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dante: First smart thing this team has done since the bell rang. Now just beat Angela senseless and we’re onto the next match.

The referee completed the count and made the signal to the ring announcer as Hinchcliffe, continued to bring her knees upwards before she slammed an axe handle into Midnight’s spine, finally causing her to break her hold, which allowed Angela to hurl her through the ropes and to the outside of the ring.

Kat: Ladies and Gentlemen… Jem Michaels has been eliminated!!!

Dante: That’s what happens when you don’t tag out regularly. She tried to grandstand, and look where it got her.

Zack: Remind me of any tag team you have ever managed, much less one that got to this level. Go ahead, I’ll wait.

Valero helped Jem out to the apron as Caitlyn came back to her feet and was met by an onrushing Angela - the powerhouse of No Holding Back mowing down the New Yorker with a clothesline. Quickly Angela pulled Storm up to her feet and Irish whipped her across the ring into the No Holding Back corner and charged in after her, leaving her feet to deliver a splash that caught her against the turnbuckle pads. Angela landed and instantly jerked Storm forwards into a short arm clothesline, sending her down to the mat and Hinchcliffe immediately began to stomp away at Caitlyn’s body. The referee told Angela to back up and started the count only for Hinchcliffe to pull Storm up to her feet and send her across the ring and away from her corner with a fall away slam.

Zack: Angela needs to try to put away Caitlyn quickly. She’s down a team member, and no matter how good you are, it’s hard to beat two top athletes on your own.

Dante: I agree, but I don’t know who the two top athletes are she’s facing. It’s just Mila and Caitlyn.

Storm started to rise back to her feet and as she did so, Angela charged across the ring and caught her as she made it upright with a big boot to her jaw. Once more the blonde hit the canvas and rolled to the side, starting to come back to her feet again as the No Holding Back member came off the ring ropes and delivered a running shoulder block that took Caitlyn down to the mat once more. Again Storm tried to come to her feet as Mila took up position in the corner once more and started to rally the crowd behind her partner. As the Garden audience roared to urge Caitlyn on, Angela pulled her quickly back to her feet and Irish whipped her hard across the ring into the NHB corner. The Englishwoman followed hot on her heels and as soon as Caitlyn struck the turnbuckles, Angela drove a running knee strike into her midsection. Four more followed it as Valero asked Angela to let her opponent away from the ropes and got his wish when he saw the powerhouse take her down to the mat once again with a huge hip toss.

Dante: If this were my team, I’d tell Angela to hit her with a monkey wrench when the referee wasn’t looking. Then it’s all tied up.

Zack: Yeah, because that’s something Angela would try to do. You know this team so well.

Once more Storm started to push upwards, only for Angela to cut her off as she hooked her head and yanked her to her feet and lifted her vertically before she slammed her down into the mat with a falcon arrow. As the powerhouse landed the move, the Sheffield native floated over and pulled Caitlyn into a camel clutch. Hinchcliffe interlocked her fingers beneath her opponent’s jaw, leaning backwards as she sat low on her spine. Valero dropped down in front of Storm asking her if she wanted to quit and getting a definite ‘No’ from the blonde. Angela continued to pull back on her foe’s chin as she sat down low on her back, trying to apply more pressure to her spine. The official asked once more and got another ‘No’ from Storm who was trying to find the ropes by kicking out with her feet but was too far from them.

Zack: Caitlyn’s not known for submitting in there, but Angela’s mostly giving herself time to catch her breath and plot her next move. I doubt she expected to be in this position.

Dante: I could have told her it would happen when your partner is an airhead with the attention span of a fruit fly.

Again the referee asked the question, getting another refusal as Caitlyn began to ease her feet forwards, bringing her knees up underneath to ease the pressure...only for Angela to release the hold, jump into the air and bring her weight crashing down onto Storm’s back. It caused the blonde to drop face first to the mat. Angela once more started to come to her feet, pulling the Midnight Storm member upright before she lifted her up off her feet and into an atomic drop. Storm held the base of her spine as she stepped forwards gingerly and was again lifted off her feet only to be driven into the mat back first thanks to a side suplex from the Yorkshire native. Hinchcliffe then floated over to make the cover, hooking the leg as she did so.

Zack: Nothing but power moves from Angela, and now she’s ready to even the sides up here.

One…

Tw--

Dante: She didn’t hook any tights or anything, so that’s going to make it a lot harder on her.

Caitlyn kicked out and Angela looked to the referee, nodding her head in acceptance of the count as she once more pulled Storm up to her feet and drove her spine first into her bent knee with a back breaker. She held Storm in place on her knee and pushed her head downwards with one hand, looking to apply more pressure and cause more pain to her back. The blonde grimaced and gritted her teeth but refused to quit with a shake of her head before she swung her arm and drove it into her opponent’s kidney area. She delivered a second blow to the kidneys before Angela shoved her away to the mat. Storm landed on her hands and knees and again Hinchcliffe pulled up and let out a roar as she put all her effort into Irish whipping her opponent across the ring into the neutral corner. As Caitlyn hit the pads, Angela was right behind her once more, delivering a corner clothesline followed by a step enzuigiri to the side of her opponent’s head. Storm staggered out of the corner and Angela caught her across the chest before she slammed her down into the mat with an STO. Again Angela didn’t waste any time at all in making the cover and hooking the leg as she did so.

Zack: Angela’s still looking for the cover here, but she’s done a great job of keeping Caitlyn away from her corner.

One…

...TH--

Dante: When Caitlyn is staring at the lights like that, what do you think she’s thinking about? Mickey or Minnie Mouse?

The blonde kicked out before the three count could be completed and once more Angela pulled her up to her feet and pushed her back against the ropes. Caitlyn leaned against them as Angela reared back and delivered a vicious knife edge chop to her chest. Storm tried to cover up and step down the ropes away from her foe, only for Hinchcliffe to pull her backwards and delivered a second vicious knife edge chop that lit up Caitlyn’s chest. Three more knife edge chops followed it up before the powerhouse went shoulder to shoulder with her foe, pushing her back against the ropes once more before she fired her across the ring with the Irish whip. Caitlyn hit the ropes where Midnight reached out and managed to tag her on the shoulder, the referee signalling the tag as Angela scooped the blonde off her feet and went for a spinebuster that Storm countered with a DDT.

Zack: Nice counter from Caitlyn and Mila with a blind tag. Storm can definitely use the rest at this point.

Dante: Yeah, she can refill the air that was lost out of her head that whole time.

Mila stepped through the ropes and helped Caitlyn to her feet, checking that she was okay and getting a nod as they looked towards the rising Angela and both stepped forwards with stereo superkicks to her jaw. The No Holding Back member collapsed backwards to the mat and rolled onto her side, pushing up onto her elbow as she held her jaw for a moment. Storm headed back towards the corner as Mila headed for the ropes, bouncing off them and driving a kick into Angela’s ribcage. Hinchcliffe fell back to the canvas and Mila immediately dropped a leg across her chest before she made the cover.

Dante: A small woman like Mila isn’t going to do much damage to a girl Angela’s size with a leg drop.

One…

Two…

Zack: Only a two count for Mila. The Storm is one pin or tap away from sealing the deal on this tag match.

Angela kicked out and Mila pulled her opponent upright and drove a series of forearms to the side of her face before she whipped her into the nearest set of ring ropes, catching her on the return with a knee to the gut. It dropped the former Future Shock Tag Team Champion down to one knee before Mila hooked her head and spiked her face first into the canvas. Angela held her face for a moment before she pushed up onto her hands and knees only for Midnight to leave her feet and deliver a double foot stomp into her shoulder blades which sent her face first into the mat. Before the No Holding Back member could try and push her way upwards, Mila stood on her back and reached down to grab her by the wrists, pulling up on her arms as she locked in a standing surfboard. Valero dropped down in front of Angela, asking her if she wanted to quit and got a ‘No’ from the woman.

Zack: No quit to be found in Angela. I just want you to know that it’s been a real treat working with you. But then I’d be lying.

Dante: I don’t know where you’re hearing this rumor from, but i’m not going anywhere! I’m integral to the integrity of this broadcast team!

Martin leaned backwards as she pulled on her wrists, delivering another stomp to her spine as she applied more pressure in the hold. Hinchcliffe kicked her feet against the mat with an excruciating grimace on her face and shook her head as Valero asked her once more if she wanted to quit. Mila delivered another stomp to her foe’s back as she leaned back a little further, causing Angela to cry out in pain but still she shook her head as the referee asked the question. The Londoner shook her head as she released her hold on her foe and pulled her upwards and into a backstabber. Angela rolled away, holding her back in pain and was once more pulled upright by her opponent who lifted her onto her shoulders, carrying her towards the No Holding Back corner before she took off across the ring and launched herself into a rolling Samoan drop in front of the Midnight Storm corner.

Zack: Mila’s bringing the faster half of the team back into the match now. I’ve had some terrific broadcast partners through my years in the booth, and well, you aren’t among them. But I don’t want you to go away thinking I never liked you. I want you to know it.

Dante: The feeling is mutual! And you’re getting on my nerves with your conspiracy theories. I’m sure they are just making sure they have enough to pay me what I’m worth in 2021.

As Mila sat up she reached forwards and tagged in Caitlyn and as Martin rose to her feet, Storm climbed to the top rope where her partner threw the blonde with the Rocket Launcher into a frog splash. As Storm landed, she hooked Angela’s leg and made the cover.

Zack: An old school rocket launcher, and Caitlyn’s about to wrap up a tag title shot!

Dante: She didn’t hook the tights or anything. That’s what you have to do on a big girl like Angela.

Angela kicked out again and Storm looked towards the referee, nodding her head as she saw the two count shown to her and came to her feet, pulling her foe up to her knees by the wrist. Quickly Caitlyn locked in an armwringer on her opponent before she started to fire off martial arts kicks to her back. She landed six before she stepped backwards and waved Angela upwards. The No Holding Back member took a couple of moments before she started to push up and was only allowed to get as far as one knee before Caitlyn took her down to the mat once more with a shining wizard to the side of the head. As Angela landed on the canvas, Caitlyn once more left her feet and delivered a back splash across Hinchcliffe’s body before she kipped up to her feet and darted towards the ropes, coming off them with a lionsault before she hooked the leg and made the cover once more.

Zack: Here we go again! If there’s a MVP in this match, it’s Caitlyn Storm!

One…

...THR--

Dante: You can’t be a MVP till you actually win the match. And she hasn’t yet.

Once more Angela kicked out of the pinfall and Caitlyn kicked up to her feet and immediately headed towards her corner, making the tag to Mila before the pair of them returned to the No Holding Back member as she was pulling herself upright. The two Midnight Storm members pulled her the rest of the way to her feet before delivering a pair of matching European uppercuts to their foe then both took hold of a wrist apiece and fired her chest first into the Midnight Storm corner. Angela staggered backwards holding her chest as she did so and both Mila and Caitlyn lifted her upwards and drove her down into the canvas with a double back breaker before Storm left the ring and took up her place on the apron. Angela writhed in pain, arching her back up from the canvas as she pressed one hand against her spine. Mila didn’t give her any time to recover as she pulled her up quickly once more and slammed her down into the mat with a side slam before hooking the leg tightly for a cover.

Dante: Mila’s gonna throw her back out picking up a girl Angela’s size like that!

One…

Two…

...THRE--

Zack: Another near fall for the Midnight Storm. I’d tell you to shut up but it is your last night and all…

Dante: It is not!

Hinchcliffe rolled a shoulder at the last moment and Mila looked towards the referee, getting the two confirmed causing a disappointed look to cross the face of the army veteran. She gave a slight shake of her head as she pulled Angela upwards and into a snap suplex before she pulled her upright once more and Hinchcliffe found herself lifted off her feet and into position for a gorilla press slam. The former Future Shock Tag Team Champion kicked her feet, wriggling as she was lifted into the air and managed to slip out of the back to land on her feet. As Mila spun around to face, Angela started to throw a flurry of right and left hands to her opponent, catching her on the point of the jaw. Midnight reeled backwards and Angela jerked her into a short arm clothesline that put her down onto the canvas, Hinchcliffe falling to her knees as she delivered it.

Dante: You think Angela’s thinking “Boy, I wonder if there’s a burger joint open somewhere nearby.”

Zack: She needs to get it together quickly. She’s had a massive toll taken on her in this handicap match, which is pretty much what it is right now.

Angela took a moment to press her forehead against the mat, hiding the grimace on her face as she pressed one hand to her spine before she started to rise to her feet. She forced herself back to her feet and immediately came face to face with Mila, blocking a right hand from the Midnight Storm member before she replied with one of her own. Midnight again fired off another right hand which Angela managed to block once more before she stepped forwards and delivered a headbutt to Mila. It caused Midnight to reel backwards and Angela Irish whipped her into the ring ropes, catching her as she came back with a spinebuster that drove her down into the mat. Mila rolled onto her side on impact and looked towards her corner as Angela rolled away to the ropes in pain, holding her back as she did so.

Zack: There’s the difference. Mila looking at her partner in the corner, and all Angela has in hers is some turnbuckles.

Dante: The partner doesn’t do you any good if you can’t get to them to tag in though.

Martin came to her knees and then pushed upright as Caitlyn had her arm outstretched for the tag while Angela pulled herself up to her feet with the aid of the ropes and half fell towards her corner. Hinchcliffe gave a shake of her head as she leaned back in the empty No Holding Back, just as Mila made the tag to her partner. Storm hopped over the top rope and immediately Angela let out a roar as she fired herself out of her teams corner and launched herself towards Caitlyn looking for a huge spear. The blonde, though, managed to leapfrog over her foe causing Angela to land on her knees as she just stopped herself from meeting the middle turnbuckle face first. Hinchcliffe pushed up from the middle turnbuckle pad to her feet and spun around to get a dropsault kick to the jaw, sending her backwards into the corner; Mila stepping away with her hands raised.

Dante: Who are they going to find that will be a better color commentator than me for FFW?

Zack: You got a phone book handy? I’ll let you pick the letter the name starts with.

As Angela leaned back against the turnbuckles, Storm caught her with a roaring elbow to the side of her face before she brought her out of the corner with a monkey flip. Hinchcliffe landed hard on the mat and immediately scrambled to get to her feet, holding her back only for Caitlyn to advance upon her and look to get her in position for a double underhook mat slam only to get pushed away. Storm took a step or two to find her balance before as Angela straightened up and started to head towards the blonde only for Caitlyn to catch her as she came forwards with a kick to the gut. The New Yorker circled around Angela, measuring her up for a moment as she was bent double before she skipped forwards and leapt into the air, coming down with the Storm Force Scissor kick that only got air as Angela managed to pull her head out of the way at the last moment.

Zack: That was some quick thinking and excellent instincts from Angela that saved her there.

Dante: There is absolutely nothing quick about Angela.

The blonde stepped forwards a couple of steps after missing the kick and before she could turn, Hinchliffe caught her in a rear waistlock and bum rushed her forwards into the Midnight Storm corner, causing her to clash heads with Mila. As Midnight fell backwards off the apron, Angela rolled Caitlyn up with an O’Connor roll. Valero slid into position to make the count but before he could, Hinchcliffe used her momentum to roll through and pull Storm up with her and into a release German suplex that saw Caitlyn hit the mat hard on her shoulders and the back of her head. Quickly Angela spun around, grabbing hold of both of her opponent’s legs and stacked her up, pushing her knees down towards her shoulders as Angela used all of her weight to hold her down in the cover.

Dante: Oh Canada, look at all that mass on Caitlyn! She’ll never get her shoulders up in time!

One…

...THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Zack: It was that close for Storm, but Angela has managed to make this a singles match finally. She’s had a huge sum taken out of her though.

Caitlyn kicked out a moment too late, Angela rolling away as Storm sat up and the referee showed the three count to them both. Hinchclife rolled to the ropes and pulled herself up to her feet as she looked over to the Midnight Storm corner while the referee ushered a disappointed looking Caitlyn out of the ring.

Kat: Ladies and Gentlemen...Caitlyn Storm has been eliminated!!!

Dante: Good riddance too! She was about as useful as the hiccups.

Zack: She got the first elimination, but you know what? Say whatever, it’s not like I have to hear it again after tonight.

Angela leaned back against the ropes, trying to catch her breath, as Caitlyn headed around the ring and exchanged a couple of words with her partner on the outside, giving her a hug and encouraging the crowd to get behind her before the blonde started to head to the entrance ramp. Valero told Angela to stay on the far side of the ring before telling Mila to get in the ring. Martin took a moment and then slid into the ring underneath the bottom rope and popped up to her feet, making a couple of slight adjustments to her gear as Angela finally stepped away from the ring ropes.

Dante: See Mila fixing her gear? Maybe she has a weapon hidden in there! This could get interesting!

Zack: I’m willing to bet almost any amount of money on how wrong you are.

They circled each other for a couple of moments before they both closed the gap at the same time and started to exchange rapid fire right hands. Mila started to get the better of the exchange, forcing her powerhouse opponent back half a step before Angela suddenly ducked down low, grabbed hold of Midnight around her legs used a double leg takedown to put her on the canvas. Quickly Angela scrabbled into the mount position and started to fire off forearms into her opponent’s jaw. Martin covered up and Angela quickly pulled her upwards, driving knees into her midsection as she did so before hooking her head and driving her down into the canvas with a spike DDT. As Mila hit the mat, Angela made the cover and hooked the leg.

Dante: Dropping her on her head isn’t going to do a lot of damage to Mila!

...TH-

Zack: Just that close to having new #1 contenders to the Unity Championship titles!

Mila kicked out and Angela rolled away to the ropes, using them to quickly pull herself upwards once more before she fired herself off them again and delivered a superman punch to her foe. Martin staggered unsteadily as Angela held her back before a moment before she flattened her opponent with a bicycle kick to the jaw. Midnight rolled to the side and started to push back to her feet as Angela headed to the corner, pushing up onto the middle rope, holding her lower back as she did so and when Mila made it back to her feet, Angela caught her with a double axe handle blow to the top of her head. It sent Mila back down to one knee and Hinchcliffe grabbed hold of her head and slammed her down into the mat with a sit out facebuster. Again Angela grabbed for her back as a look of pain crossed her face and rolled to the ring ropes, pulling herself upwards as she again headed towards the corner. Hinchcliffe once more pushed up onto the middle rope as Mila rolled onto her back and fell forwards to drive an elbow drop into her chest. Quickly Martin made the cover.

Zack: Nicely executed from Angela, but is it enough?

...THRE--

Dante: She ought to try to falling on her like she did Caitlyn, nobody’s getting up from that.

Martin kicked out once more and Angela looked towards the official with three fingers raised only to get a shake of the head from the official. Hinchcliffe looked distraught as she shook her head but didn’t argue. Instead the former Future Shock Tag Team Champion pulled her opponent up from the mat as she rose to her feet and looked to set her up for a cradle piledriver. As she went to lift her foe though, Angela dropped her back to her feet with a look of pain on her face and went to hold her back as Mila countered, sending her fellow Englishwoman up and over with a back body drop. Angela landed hard, her mouth forming an ‘O’ of anguish as she sat up, placing a hand against her spine. Before Angela could move, Midnight placed her knee in the top of her spine before she reached around her body to lock in a straightjacket rear chinlock. Valero checked to ensure the hold was illegal before asking Angela if she wanted to quit, getting a ‘No’ from the competitor.

Dante: Look at that, even the referee thinks Mila is shady. He had to check to make sure she wasn’t cheating.

Zack: He’d do that no matter who it was! Not just because it’s Mila!

Mila drove her knee into Angela’s spine once more and readjusted her grip to pull back further on her foes arms, the referee getting told ‘No’ once more by the No Holding Back member when he asked if she wanted to quit while she tried to jerk her hands free. Midnight drove her knee into the top of her opponent’s spine again and Angela this time shook her head as she refused to quit when asked by the official. Instead Hinchcliffe started to struggle her way up to her feet, Martin also pushing upwards and as the pair got to their feet, Martin released the straightjacket only to transition quickly into a Full Nelson. Angela struggled to try and stop her from locking the hold in which saw Martin use her grip to sweep Hinchcliffe upwards and drive her down into the mat with a sit out Full Nelson bomb.

Dante: She’s gonna give herself a hernia like that! But it did some damage, at least.

Zack: You should look into using your company insurance while you still have it getting yourself some glasses.

Again Angela’s face as a mask of pain as she sat on the canvas, her hands moving to her back as Mila released her and rolled away. Midnight came back to her feet before she skipped forwards and drove kick into her back. Hinchcliffe rolled to the side and to her knees only for Mila to take off towards the ropes and drive a running knee strike into the middle of her foes back, sending her forward to land on all fours. Martin didn’t give her any chance to recover before she pulled Angela upwards, scooping her off her feet and slammed her down into the mat with a michinoku driver. Mila immediately grabbed hold of her opponent’s legs as she made the cover.

Zack: Angela was damn near put through the mat right there, and Mila’s gonna get her and Caitlyn a tag title shot!

One…

Two…

...THREEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!NNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dante: No, she won’t. And even if she does win, she should see about changing partners.

Angela kicked out at the last moment, Valero waving off the pinfall and Martin looked at the referee, asking for the three count, only for him to shake his head and tell her it was just a two count. Mila’s head dropped for a moment, burying her face in her hands for a moment before she looked up with a nod of her head while Angela rolled away and started to pull herself upwards. As she did so, Mila came to her feet and went after her, pulling her upwards and unloading on her jaw with a European uppercut. A second followed and then a third which left Hinchcliffe wobbling as she stepped back and forth trying to find her balance. Mila looked to pull her forwards and as she did so, Hinchcliffe suddenly yanked her opponent towards into an inside cradle pinfall attempt, Valero sliding into position to make the count.

Dante: This might work, but she doesn’t have the tights again! It’s like she doesn’t want to win!

One…

Two…

...THREEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!NNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Zack: This has been a defining performance for the team of the Midnight Storm tonight! They are both showing indomitable spirit.

Mila kicked out at the last moment and Angela rolled away to the ropes, starting to pull herself upright as Martin sat on the mat and asked the referee to confirm the count as she held up two fingers. Valero nodded her head and told Midnight it was only a two. The Londoner breathed a sigh of relief and as soon as she rose to her feet she skipped forwards to deliver a superkick aimed at Hinchcliffe’s jaw. The former Future Shock Tag Team Champion managed to get her hands up to take most of the brunt as she fell back against the ropes and bounced back towards Martin. As soon she did so, Mila looked to pull her into an Unprettier.

Zack: I know that setup, and Angela won’t get up from it if she finishes it!

As she did so though, Angela managed to grab hold of her wrist and yank her foe around into a weak looking ripcord forearm to her jaw. The Midnight Storm member stepped backwards, Hinchcliffe kept hold of her arm and jerked her into an Irish whip. As Martin returned, Angela popped her up into the air and caught her on the way down with a cutter. Mila bounced as she hit the mat and Angela dove on top of her to make the cover, hooking the leg as she did so.

Zack: What a counter!! Angela with a massive cutter and that may be all she wrote!

One…

Two…

...THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dante: She could have won it a lot sooner if she had grabbed some tights, like I’ve been saying.

Angela rolled away and laid out on the mat as Valero called for the bell. Slowly the pair began to sit up, rolling in opposite directions as they both came to their knees. The referee checked on both competitors.

Kat: Ladies and gentleman, “Midnight” Mila Martin has been eliminated...your winners...the team of Jem Michaels and Angela Hinchclife…. NO HOLDING BACK!!!

Dante: So does that mean Angela gets the tag title shot? Maybe she’d rather get a different partner for the title match?

Zack: No, it doesn’t mean she gets it by herself or that she’s going to change partners! Congratulations to Angela and Jem, and the tag champions have a date upcoming with NHB!

The pair came to their feet and Valero raised Angela’s hand in the air as she held her back with her other hand. The crowd cheered loudly as Jem hit the ring and hugged her partner, raising her hand in the air while Caitlyn followed after her to check on Mila. The two teams came face to face and after a moment they shook hands before the Midnight Storm members raised the hands of No Holding Back, getting a louder cheer from the crowd before the show cut elsewhere.

The bell sounds as we head back to the ring, and there’s Kat once more standing in the center with her microphone in hand.

Kat: The following contest is a 2 out of 3 falls match for the FFW Phoenix Championship!

Zack: We’re about to see what should be a scientific match between two very popular women on the FFW roster with the Phoenix Championship on the line. I’ve got the Director of Future Shock here with me. Adam, you’re familiar with both of these women.

Adam: Yeah, they both came through Future Shock to get here. And they’ve both also done very well for themselves afterwards too.

The dance beats of DJ Cutman's "I'm The Boss" blare through the sound system as lights blink in white, baby blue and purple. Skipping and bopping to the beat, Rose Gardner comes out from the back, opening her arms in an airplane stance as she reaches the top of the ramp, stopping and staring into the crowd. She then makes her way down the ramp, high fiving as many fans as possible in the way. As the chorus of the music approaches, she darts to the ring and hops onto the second rope, showing off for the crowd, pointing to herself with her two thumbs as the lyrics say...

I'm the boss!
I'm the boss!
I'm very, very sorry for your loss!
I'm the boss!
I'm the boss!
And just in case I didn't get the point across
I'M THE BOSS!

Kat: Introducing first, from World 8-8, standing at 5' 4"... ROSE GARDNER!!!

Poison then removes her sunglasses and throws it into the audience for some fan before hopping down to the ring and bouncing on the balls of her feet.

Zack: This is not the first time Rose has met Harley in FFW. They also met for the now-retired Fast Track Championship, and it was Harley who ended Rose’s reign with that title.

Adam: I remember that, yeah. That was one fall to a finish, here they are going to have to try to catch two falls on the other if they want to be the champion.

There’s a short silence as the arena falls dark, building up the tension before “Seven Notes in Black” by The Vince Tempera Orchestra starts to play and a single spotlight falls on the middle of the stage, straight onto the flame haired star with the Phoenix Championship held high above her head. As the crowd cheer wildly for her, Harley holds the pose for a couple of moments, until the song stops playing for a couple of seconds. The girl was wearing a leather jacket over her ring gear; her head tied up in a bun, held in place by two chopsticks.

Kat: Weighing in at 122 lbs, standing 5’6” tall and coming from Hanover, New Hampshire. She is the reigning and defending FFW PHOENIX CHAMPION...HARLEY SHANNON!!!

After a couple of moments of silence the song starts up once more - with a more eerie tone and at that moment Harley starts off down the ramp, shedding her leather jacket before reaching back and pulling the chopsticks out of her hair and shaking her head to let her bright, flame red hair fall down around her shoulders. As she got to the bottom of the ramp, the girl picked out a young fan at ringside, giving the chopsticks to the fan before she slides into the ring and popped to her feet. Heading for the corner, Harley climbed to the middle rope, holding the title high into the air to get cheers from the fans before she dropped back down to the canvas in the corner. She held the title up in front of her, giving the faceplate a kiss before she surrendered the championship to the referee and waited for the match to start.

Zack: Harley ended the reign of Angel for that title, and just recently defended it against Mila Martin. We’ll be seeing her later tonight, but the champion has a ball of energy waiting for her here.

Adam: Rose does like to keep the tempo moving in a match, but I’ve seen Harley do the same thing. So this may be a case of who has the better conditioning.

Referee Stephen Wilson holds up the Phoenix Champion before Kat takes it with her as she leaves the ring. He calls for the bell after that, and both of the women move to the center and shake hands in a show of good sportsmanship. They circle for a moment, and lock up in the center of the ring. Rose appears to be slightly stronger as she starts to push Harley back a step, but the champion digs in and starts pushing her back. Gardner takes control from there with an armdrag that snaps the champion to the mat. Before Harley can get up, Rose begans driving elbows into her back and neck. Three well placed knees keep her on the mat before Gardner lands a stiff front kick to her spine. It freezes the champion up before Rose applies a bow and arrow submission.

Zack: Rose is already trying to dictate the pace, and this is a lot slower than she usually likes to go in matches. She knows she has to conserve a little energy for later in this match.

Adam; I think you’re right. I don’t think she feels like she’s going to get Harley to quit, but she’s already trying to get at a lower speed than she’s known for.

The brunette pulled back on her arms a little further, causing her knee to drive deeper into her back. Shannon’s face winces in pain before she shakes her head at the referee’s question about stopping the match. She then starts to turn to her side, and is able to begin getting back to her feet. Rose releases her hands, and fires a knee into her abdomen before she can stand up. It knocks the wind out of her before Gardner snatches her arms behind her into a butterfly suplex followed by a bridge for the pin!

Zack: A butterfly suplex even Katie Keller would be proud of, and Rose’s looking for the first fall!

ONE!!

TW-NOO!!

Harley gets her arm free and her shoulder up as the two was coming down. The champion had barely gotten to her feet before Rose was already up again with another knee to the body that doubled her over. She hoisted her up for a gutbuster that dropped the champion to all fours on the mat, and Rose followed up with a double stomp to her back to put her down.

Adam: You normally call that a double stomp. But given it’s Rose, I think Goomba Stomp is a little more fitting here.

A pair of ax  handle blows to her back kept Harley face down on the mat, while Rose delivered a double knee drop into her lower back. The champion hammered a pair of elbows into the same spot, grinding the last one in as deeply as she could before getting back to her feet. She immediately stepped over ehr, and applied a Boston crab on Harley before the referee moved into position to check for a submission. It was clear that the crowd was largely split down the middle.

Zack: Rose is working that lower back, trying to make sure no matter what Harley may attempt in this match that she’s going to hurt doing it.

Adam: Everything starts with your core, right? And all the while, Rose still has a full energy tank, to borrow a term from video games.

She wasn’t able to keep the move applied long though, because Harley was close to the ropes. The champion realized it within a few seconds, and stretched her hand out to get the break, which Rose gave immediately.  The brunette watched as she tried to get to all fours, and left her feet in a leap for a butt stomp to Harley’s back, very much like Mario would do. She pulled her up into a rear waistlock, and tried for a German suplex. But Harley, still close to the ropes, grabbed the top one to stop her. Gardner hammered blows into her back, trying to make her let go. When she tried again, Harley grabbed the top rope a second time and lowered her head before charging towards the ropes. The top rope caught Rose across the chest, sending her backwards a couple steps before Harley spun around and caught her with a lungblower to send her to the mat.

Adam: I gotta give Harley credit, that was a very inventive way to get herself out of trouble right there. The rope hitting you full force in the chest doesn’t feel any better than getting a clothesline.

Zack: Absolutely right, Adam. It caught Rose right under her collarbone, and that lungblower didn’t make her feel any better after it connected.

Rose was beginning to get to her feet when Harley pulled her arm up, and began to unleash a flurry of kicks to her chest that deposited her to her knees.  A hip check off the ropes nearly sent Rose over to the mat again. When she was almost back to her feet, Harley used a kneelift to the face followed by a discus clothesline to take her down. All the activity caused the champion to grimace in pain for a moment as she rose back to her feet. Rose started to get up again, only to pulled into a front facelock followed by a future shock DDT and then a cover!

Zack: Harley’s turned it up a notch, and there’s a DDT with a familiar name!

ONE!!

TWO-NOO!!

Rose kicked out just as the two was striking the mat. Harley got back to her feet, clearly moving a little slower than usual, thanks to Rose’s offense earlier. She took off towards the ropes as Rose was getting back to her feet, and rebounded a lariat that mowed the challenger down to the mat.

Adam: Everything Rose did earlier is coming to bear on Harley, isn’t it? She’s not moving nearly as fast as she is usually known for doing.

Harley pulled her back to her feet, and whipped her into the far corner. Rose’s back struck hard before she staggered forward two steps. Shannon barreled towards her, and left her feet for what looked like a Superman punch. But Roe caught her around the waist and fell backwards into a flapjack that bounced Harley’s face off the top turnbuckle and snapped her head back before she hit the canvas. The challenger immediately hooked both legs as she landed to make the cover!

Zack: My God, a flapjack to the top turnbuckle! Harley’s head was like a Pez dispenser!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

The bell sounded to end the first fall, but Rose went for the cover again after the referee had signaled the end of the first round.

Adam: Look at Rose, she’s going to see if she can snatch two falls in a row! I can’t blame her for that!

ONE!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THRE-NOOO!!!

This time, Harley popped her shoulder off the mat. The challenger crawled away from her as she tried to pull herself together.

Kat: The winner of the first fall by pinfall………’POISON’ ROSE GARDNER!!!

Zack: Rose Gardner is one fall away from capturing the Phoenix Championship! That flapjack would have put anyone down for three….just not enough a pair of threes!

Adam: Under normal rules, we’d have a new Phoenix Champion right now. Rose needs to try to end this quickly if she can.

The challenger got back to her feet before Harley ddi, and drove her back into the corner with a shoulder block. Harley was still dazed after the last fall, and Rose tried to take advantage of it when she scooped her up over her shoulders and darted out of the corner with a Samoan drop. The challenger rolled back to her feet, pulling Harley up with her into a front facelock before scooping her upside down into a stalling brainbuster. But she stalled a second too long, and Shannon managed to land on her feet behind her. The champion wobbled a little as Rose turned around into a jawbreaker! The cosplay princess stumbled backwards before Harley yanked her forward into a ripcord knee strike that flattened her.

Zack: Harley realizes she’s behind the 8 ball right now, and I think she’s hellbent on evening the series as quickly as possible.

Adam: I’m sure she is. But she has to be careful, this kind of offense is what cost her the last fall because Rose was ready for it.

Harley watched as Rose struggled to get back to her feet before she whipped her across for the ride. Gardner rebounded into a heart punch from the Phoenix Champion that stopped her in her tracks. She grabbed her forward and over her shoulders before looking for a GTS. But Rose avoided the contact, and landed on her feet. Harley turned into her as Rose spun around and delivered a stunner that bounced the champion to the mat. The challenger slumped over as she sat on the canvas, trying to pull herself together before she crawled over to make the cover.

Adam; I told you, Zack. Rose is quick on her feet and mentally too as Harley, and she caught her with that stunner. If she could have made the cover by now, we might have a new champion! And may still!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THR-NOOO!!!

The champion got her shoulder up in time, and Rose slowly made it to her feet. Her fans began chanting her name again, which seemed to be motivating her. Nodding her head, she planted Harley’s between her legs and scooped her up for what looked like a powerbomb. But the champion countered into a facebuster before collapsing on her side.

Zack: Rose was looking for one more big impact move to put this match away, and claim the Phoenix Champion 2 falls to none!

Wilson began a ten count on them both before Harley started to get back to her feet. Once she made it, she saw Rose was almost to hers as well. She spun the cosplayer around into a discus punch to the jaw that staggered her backwards. Harley grabbed her arm, and whipped her into the far corner. The challenger struck back first before Harley blasted past her, and rebounded off the ropes with a bicycle knee strike that floored Rose to the canvas. She dropped down to make the cover as Wilson slid into position.

Zack: Rose got her skull rattled with that big knee, and Harley’s gonna tie it up right here!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREE-NOOO!!!

Gardner got her shoulder up as Harley glanced up to the referee with almost a pleading look on her face. She made it back to her feet, trying to pull herself together in the process. As Rose was starting to rise, Shannon hit the ropes again. This time, she rebounded into a shining knee strike that landed perfectly before she made the cover with both legs hooked.

Adam: That’s Mara’s finisher right there, WERTHWHILE!

ONE!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

Wilson called for the bell as Harley rolled off the cover, taking in deep breaths as she laid on her back on the canvas.

Kat: The winner of the second fall by pinfall………….HARLEY SHANNON!!

Zack: And that was a ‘must win’ moment for Harley! She had to even this series up one way or another! If it worked for Mara, no reason it wouldn’t tonight. And we’re all tied up!

Harley struggled to make it to her feet, as it was obvious how much the two falls already had taken out of her. She headed for the corner to make her way to the top rope. But Rose didn’t let her make it all the way before the challenger’s head popped up between Harley’s body and the turnbuckles. The champion’s eyes widened as Rose darted out of the corner with a blue thunder bomb that bounced the champion off the mat.

Zack: And here comes Rose again! They’re showing you how badly they want to be the Phoenix Champion!

Adam: It’s crunch time now for Harley and Rose. All tied up, and they have taken the measure of each other. Someone just needs to nail that one big move, and I think it’s over after that.

Rose finally made it back to her feet, and started to tear off her baggy bodysuit. The fans got much louder as they saw her become….Elastigirl from the Incredibles. She slid a mask over her eyes, and took off towards the ropes. Harley was beginning to get to her feet when Rose connected with a Superman punch that put her back on the mat. The challenger pulled ehr to her feet, and almost into position for her finisher before Harley began firing back elbows to her head to stop her.

Zack: Rose was going for her favorite move, but Harley’s seen that movie before! And Elastigirl is getting a smorgasbord of elbows to the dome!

Adam: I’m gonna have to watch the Incredibles again next week.

She finally shook Rose loose, and shoved her backwards to create some distance. Gardner stumbled in place for a moment before Harley lunged forward to deliver a Spanish fly into a cover as the referee dropped into position.

Zack: Taking a page from lucha libre, Harley’s going for it all!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NO!!

Rose kicked out in time before the three, and Harley made it back to her feet.

Adam: You can hear the Harley supporters getting louder now, Zack. There’s no clear favorite between these two!

With her fans fully supporting her, Harley connected with a flash kick to Rose’s jaw as she was getting up followed by a roundhouse kick that put her on her knees. A backward thrust kick to the jaw finished the trifecta before the challenger collapsed to the mat. Harley dove on top of her, hooking the outside leg as tightly as possible!

Zack: THE ERUPTION!!!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

The referee called for the finall bell as Harley rolled away from her opponent. The flame-haired girl sat up against the bottom rope as she took in deep breaths while Kat made it official.

Kat: Your winner of the third fall and the match…..AND STILL FFW Phoenix Champion….HARLEY SHANNON!!!

Adam: She definitely worked hard for that win. You can tell it by looking at her right now, Zack:

The referee returned the Phoenix Champion to Harley as she got to her feet finally. She smiled a little before raising it over her head for the crowd. She doubled back to help Rose up, and gave her another handshake just as they had when the match began.

Zack: That’s what you like to see, Adam. I doubt we’ll see it in any of the other title matches on tonight’s card, but that’s a load of respect between these two.

Adam: They got no reason  not to respect each other. They pushed each other about as far as either of them is able to go, and it just happened to be Harley’s night.

Harley headed for the corner, and held her now-retained title up once again to much fanfare from the crowd as the show cut to a commercial for Future Shock Global Wars.

Championship Temptation

When the show returns elsewhere backstage inside Madison Square Garden, the camera finds the reigning FFW and Evolution Champions on either side of their manager, who looks pretty happy.

Christian: Look at this. FFW’s two top champions all together. And even though neither one of them will have to lace up boots tonight, it’s certainly a night full of events that will revolve around them in the future. But first, I’ll publicly congratulate the new Evolution Champion for the second time, I might add, Scarlett Silver!

Christian rubs her shoulders as he smiles over to the Evolution Champion. He also gives the title a little polishing with his sleeve.

Scarlett: It was always a foregone conclusion that I’d get it back. It was just a matter of time until I brought it home again, and it was well worth the wait. Doesn’t it just look so much better with me?

Christian: It really does. And I figured we should probably answer the whining we heard earlier in the show. Casey has complained along with Dante about thievery at Velocity, and now the final round has been set for Relentless with you two in a ladder match. And speaking as Scarlett’s manager here, Casey, this is it. No more rematches for you when you don’t get the job done on March 6th.

Scarlett: They would know all about thievery considering that’s the only way Casey got her hands on the title in the first place and then they had the audacity to cast it aside for the trashy knockoff title they tried to replace it with. All the whining in the world isn’t going to change the fact that I am the RIGHTFUL Evolution Champion.

Christian: No question in my mind about that. Only hers and Dante.

His attention turns to the FFW Champion, who he looks to be equally proud of.

Christian: Not only that, but we’ll see who will be challenging for Missy’s FFW Championship tonight as well. I did find out that match would also be at Relentless, we just gotta see who wants it most. Speaking personally….I’m happy with it being Savannah or Valerie personally. Valentina….

Missy: It would be nice to face a new challenger… but whichever one comes knocking I’m going to be ready and they’ll be leaving the arena empty handed. I have no intention of being unsuccessful in my first defence of 2021.

Christian: Of course not. I just don’t particularly look forward to her line of...I guess you’d call it logic if she does pull it out tonight. Savannah and Valerie though, those are two matches that would be good to see. And something we didn’t just see….what? Two months ago.

Missy: I think there should be a stipulation added if Valentina gets past Savannah and Valerie… if she gets the shot and loses again… she shouldn’t get another match while I’m Champion. But that might be wishful thinking on my part - and no Valentina, before you get all excited that does NOT mean I’m scared of you. Just bored of you.

Christian: If it is her and she gets knocked out, wake her up and pin her and get it over with. Valerie knows what it’s like to be where you are, that’d be a great challenge. Savannah has a singular focus on achieving it, I’d be into that. But I’ll definitely work it into the contract if it’s Valentina like I will with Casey… we’ll call it “This is it” clause.

Missy: Oh believe me, if it’s Valentina I’ll knock her out, wake her up to pin her and then make her tap the fuck out just to make a goddamn point. If it’s Valerie, I know that will be an excellent match from bell to bell, there’s not many around with Valerie’s experience and work ethic. As for Savannah, I’d love to smack the mouthy twat in the mouth a few times, so that would be fun for me.

Christian: Well it won't be a lot longer before we get to find out who that'll be.

As the trio leaves the camera shot, the show returns to ringside and finds Kat ready to begin the next introductions.

Kat: The following match is a gauntlet match where the winner of the first pinfall will face Dawn Lohan.

Dante: Dawn Lohan is a refreshing change in the referee pool of FFW. I’ve heard she may be in line for the senior official spot.

Zack: Oh yeah, sure. She’s refereed less matches than you have fingers on one hand, but she’s gonna be the senior referee? Uh huh.

The crowd let out a cheer at the announcement, interrupting Kat for a moment.

Kat: Introducing first, your referee…

Mz Hyde by Halestorm echoes from the loud speaker.

Dawn Lohan pushes her way through the curtain. Standing at the very top of the entrance way, she drops to her knees, spreads her arms out looking up to the heavens soaking in the very viscerally negative reaction from the crowd. As the music is coursing through the arena she knows she can't delay the inevitable.

Kat: On her way to the ring, from San Diego, California, weighing in at one hundred and thirty pounds, “The self proclaimed Most Wonderful Performer of the Modern Era” DAWN... LOHAN

She slowly makes her down to the ring, all business.

She makes her way to the ring steps. When she reaches the top of the steps, she walks along the apron. Dawn beckons a ring attendant to greet her. The attendant holds the ropes open for Dawn. Entering the ring she walks to center of the ring. Dropping down to her knees again, a single spotlight shines down. The arena showers her with more boos. She doesn’t care. In her mind she is the most wonderful person in existence, screw everyone else. The rest of the lights come on in the arena. Dawn walks over to the corner, chills there until the two competitors were introduced.

Dante: The WONDERFUL thing about her is she shows no bias in her matches. She’s always right down the middle.

Zack: For the most part, you’re right. It’s her last time refereeing that has brought all this on.

Kat: And the competitors! Introducing first….

“Just Like Fire” strums out of the system, bathing the arena in blue, red and white lights. As the verse is sung, Luci steps out from the back to a pop from the crowd, a smile on her face as she lifts a hand to them. As she drops her hand, Vincent Belmont comes out to join her.

Kat: On her way to the ring, hailing from Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia, weighing in at one hundred and sixty pounds, please welcome LUCI!

The blonde begins to make her way down the ramp, smiling all the way down. She stops at the bottom of the ramp and takes a step back, then lunges forward and throws herself under the ropes, popping back to her feet. She takes to the middle of the ring where she raises both arms out wide, spins in a circle and then heads to her corner, where she meets Vincent again, the two talking between themselves as the music fades out.

Zack: Fans will remember it was in a match with Luci that Dawn got referee Melinda Davis suspended for driving her up the wall enough to do a fast count.

Dante: I don’t subscribe to your revisionist history. All that needs to be said is that it was a fast count on Dawn. Luci’s victory was tainted, in my view.

As “Rise” by Sixx A.M. we see the arena lights blinking in sync with the lyrics of the music. Nevaeh Summers eventually storms her way onto the stage , fired up, and motioning to the crowd, before stopping at the top of the ramp and looking out at the people. Nevaeh is wearing yellow rimmed sunglasses as well as a white Poisoned by Ivy military jacket with yellow trim. As we keep looking at Nevaeh we see she is wearing yellow colored leather pants running down her leg. The side of each leg is laced up with white colored fabric, showing of her skin. On her feet we see black boots and white kickpads. On the front of each kickpad appears her logo as there is a circle with “NS” in the center of it in Yellow. While “The" scrolls on the top and “Finest” scrolls on the bottom, also in yellow.

Nevaeh looks around the building, nodding her head, as she starts feeling the crowd. “Feel that energy” is what can be heard coming from Nevaeh as she goes about heading down the ramp halfway and begins pointing her left hand out to the crowd and moves it around as if she was conducting them. The crowd moves from left to right, linking arms. Nevaeh then points to the opposite side of the crowd with her right hand, urging that side of the building on the same way, to which they do. Nevaeh lowers her head, her hands still swaying to the crowd till she raises her head up and snaps her arms out to the side.

As Nevaeh strikes her signature pose a row of pyro goes off next to her, starting far out and rushing close to her, before a big unified explosion happens behind her. Nevaeh now lowered her head back down and looked towards the ring and began walking down the ramp with a purpose.

Kat: Making her way to the ring at this time she resides in Los Angeles, California by way of Atlanta, Georgia. She weighs in tonight at 120 pounds. She is Nevaeh Summers!!!

Nevaeh reaches the bottom of the ramp and goes about slapping hands with the fans. Nevaeh now heads to the opposite side and slaps a few more hands before removing her sunglasses and just casually tosses them out towards the crowd. Nevaeh than quickly runs to the ring, sliding in under the bottom rope, and gets to a knee. Nevaeh just looks out for a moment before getting to her feet and shimmies out of her jacket.

Nevaeh then approaches the middle of the ropes facing the hard camera. Nevaeh climbs up them, hooking a leg over the top rope and straddling it. Nevaeh now sits there and looks out to the capacity crowd. The blonde began motioning them to get louder, which they do. She eventually lowers her head and starts motioning her arms as if she's conducting them again. This time we zoom out and capture the front row all around motioning along with her. After a moment Nevaeh snaps her head back and her arms out. Multiple spotlights soon shift down onto her, basking her in the light.

Nevaeh keeps striking the pose till she sees fit. Once she has, she gets off the ropes and makes her way to the opposite side of the ring where she puts one foot on the bottom rope and the other on the middle. She bounces on them while looking out to the crowd and stretches her arms out yet again, encouraging them to get louder.

Nevaeh bounces off the ropes and lands on her feet. She starts psyching herself up as she paces back and forth along a corner.

Dante: She really likes her pomp and circumstance, doesn’t she?

Zack: She’s earned it. Look at what all she’s accomplished in her FFW tenure.

Dawn called the two competitors to the middle of the ring, smiling sweetly at the two of them as they joined her and she told them that she wanted a good clean match between the pair before reminded them that if either of them touched her, she’d be declared the winner of the match. And wouldn’t that just be Wonderful? Luci and Nevaeh both stared at her with hatred for a moment then Dawn caught them both with a thumb to the eye and then knocked their heads together before she called for the bell.

Zack: I see we’re not showing any pretense of fairness tonight, are we?

Dante: After all the things they have said about her, they’re lucky she didn’t do more.

Nevaeh and Luci both stepped backwards, holding their head for a moment before they glared daggers at Dawn who wagged her finger back and forth then pulled at the striped shirt she was wearing over her ring gear. It saw Luci and Nevaeh turn to look at each other, exchanging a couple of words before they both seemed to come to an accord, fist bumped each other and then started to circle for a moment. Summers quickly looked to go for the upper hand as she closed the gap between them and went for the lock up. Luci though slipped out of her grasp and ghosted behind her and when Nevaeh turned to face the New South Wales born wrestler, Luci caught her with a savate kick to the underside of her jaw. It saw the World’s Finest stagger backwards only for the Australian to catch her with a bicycle knee strike to her jaw. The Atlanta native fell back against the rope, holding her jaw and Luci stepped up onto the middle rope, driving an enzuigiri kick into the side of her opponent’s head that saw her fall down onto all fours.

Zack: You can’t tell me Dawn came into this refereeing gig with the best of intentions, being assigned only to Nevaeh matches.

Dante: I understand she wanted to do more matches, but Miss Star wanted her to get her feet wet, as it were first.

Nevaeh began to push back up to her feet but as she did so Luci came off the ropes and caught her opponent with a running knee lift. It brought Summers up to her feet only for Luci to wrap her arms around her body and hurl her over her head with a release belly to belly suplex. Summers hit the mat hard and immediately sat up starting to get to her feet but only made it as far as one knee before Luci came off the ropes in front of her and delivered another knee shot to Summers face. It knocked her down to the mat once more and this time when the Georgia native rose, Luci was again coming off the ropes to spike her foe’s face into the mat with a one handed bulldog. Quickly the Australian rolled the World’s Finest onto her back and made the cover.

Dante: Look, she’s trying to steal it early just to get after Dawn.

One…

Tw-

Zack: A near fall for Luci there. If you take Dawn out of the equation, this has all the markings of a great scientific match.

Nevaeh kicked out and Luci pulled her opponent upwards, hooking her head as she did so and went to lift her up into a suplex only for Summers to escape out of her grip and land on her feet behind her. As she did so the Georgia native wrapped her arms around Luci’s waist and ran her into the ropes, using the momentum to pull her into an O’Connor roll as she bounced off the ropes.

On-

Dante: You have to admit that Dawn has been extremely fair since the bell rang for this match.

Zack: What about right before it rang?

Luci kicked out before Dawn could complete the first count and as she came to her feet the New South Wales born wrestler was caught by her opponent with a drop kick to her chest that unbalanced her and sent her falling through the ropes and to the outside. Luci was quick to return to her feet as Neveah took hold of the top rope and used it to slingshot herself to the outside and into a crossbody that caught Luci perfectly and sent her down to the floor. Nevaeh rose back to her feet and pulled her foe up with her as she rolled her into the ring then pulled herself up onto the apron. Luci started to get her feet underneath her and as she did so, Summers used the top rope for a slingshot again as she fired herself over the top rope and into a shoulder tackle that took the Australian down to the mat.

Zack: There’s no real advantage between Nevaeh and Luci. Both have enjoyed very successful careers, only that Luci is still looking to get her first title in FFW.

Dante: She’s got a long haul ahead of her, let me tell you.

Luci started to come back to her feet quickly only to get caught by a hip toss from Nevaeh, sending the blonde down to the mat once more before she followed it up quickly with a knee drop to her chest. Nevaeh didn’t bother to make the cover as she again pulled the Australian wrestler to her feet and snapped her head back with three stiff European uppercuts that sent her foe back into the ropes. As Luci hit them, Neveah assumed a boxers stance and snapped off a combination of jabs to the jaw of the New South Wales native before she Irish whipped her across the ring. On her return the former FFW Champion lowered her shoulder to send Luci up high into the air with a back body drop before she crashed down into the canvas.  As the woman from Newcastle started back to her feet, Summers circled around behind her, letting her opponent get to her feet before she leapt forwards and yanked her backwards with the Walk of Shame jumping reverse bulldog. As soon as Luci hit the canvas, Nevaeh made the cover, hooking both legs.

Dante: She calls it the WALK OF SHAME. I call it Ode to a Cow.

One…

Tw-

Zack: Didn’t get the job done for the Hall of Famer, so it’s back to work.

Luci kicked out of the pinfall and Nevaeh pulled her back to her feet and shoved her into the corner where she started to light up her chest with a series of knife edge chops to her chest. As the World’s Finest got her foe in the corner she continued to drive five more chops into her chest and stared at Dawn who not only encouraged to keep on landing the shots but also suggested that she should deliver one to Luci’s throat...or maybe even choke her out. Summers rolled her eyes at the assigned official and reared back to deliver one more stern chop into Luci’s chest before she yanked her out of the corner and Irish whipped her across the ring.

Zack: Keep in mind, fans, there’s no animosity between Luci and Nevaeh. They just both want to get their hands on Dawn.

Dante: And neither one of them have a very good reason to feel that way either.

Luci hit the opposite corner and Nevaeh took off after her, building up a head of steam before she launched herself into a handspring back elbow...that saw her crash spine first into the turnbuckle pads as Luci got out of the way at the last moment. Summers tried to step out of the corner but as she did so, Jamieson caught her with a high kick across her chest to send her back against the pads then followed up with seven swiftly delivered side kicks into Nevaeh’s midsection. It saw the World’s Finest lean forwards in the corner for a couple of seconds before Luci stood her upright with a vicious knife edge chop to her chest. She followed it up with three more before she pulled Summers out of the corner and pushed her back against the ropes before shooting her off across the ring.

Dante: Being the magnanimous woman she is, I’m sure Dawn doesn’t mind who she faces.

Zack: I disagree. I think she’d rather avoid Nevaeh more than Luci personally, there’s way more history there.

As Nevaeh returned she ran straight into a raised big boot from her opponent that saw her hit the canvas. Immediately the Atlanta born woman began to come back to her feet, getting to one knee before Luci caught her with a boot to the side of her head that wobbled the Georgia Peach. Nevaeh took a moment to compose herself and finish pushing herself up to her feet only for Luci to wrap a hand around her throat as she lifted her off her feet and drove her down into the mat with a chokeslam. Again Summers sat up and started to push up to her feet only for Luci to slow her down with three forearm shivers to the side of her head. She then followed that up by jerking Nevaeh forward by the wrist into a raised knee to her gut. Once more Nevaeh bent over and the Australian didn’t waste a microsecond as she held one of her foe’s arms and drove the top of her head into the canvas with a snap single arm DDT that flipped the Georgia native over and onto her back. Quickly Luci floated over and made the pin, hooking the legs as she did so.

Zack: Nevaeh landed right on top of her head, and Luci could be close to getting at Dawn.

One…

Two…

Dante: Not even close. The great thing is that whoever wins will already be worn down by the time Dawn faces them.

Summers kicked out once more and Luci pulled her up to her feet where she started to drive forearms into the side of her jaw before stepping backwards and spinning to slam a discus forearm into the side of the Georgia born wrestler’s head. It caused Nevaeh to turn away from Luci who shoved the blonde to spun her all the way around before she jerked her up into a German suplex. The Australian didn’t release her grip on her opponent as she swivelled her hips, pulling her up to her feet and into a second German suplex; Luci repeating the feat three more times before she bridged upwards for the pin once more.

Dante: What do Aussies know about German suplexes?

...THR--

Zack: If you want, I’ll get our ring announcer to give you a crash course on your last night here.

Neveah kicked out and rolled backwards onto her knees, holding her head. Luci stood up and quickly circled around behind the World’s Finest to lock in a Full Nelson, interlocking her fingers behind her head to force her chin downwards to her chest while her foe was on her knees. Summers slowly started to force herself to her feet, Luci keeping the hold locked in tightly. Dawn moved in front of Nevaeh, asking her if she wanted to quit and got a ‘No’ from the former FFW Champion, causing Lohan to shrug her shoulders. Summers strained and struggled to try and break her foe’s grip to no avail. It forced the American to change her tactics as she looked to stomp down on Luci’s foot - the Australian moving her foot out of the way and then stepping to one side, keeping the hold applied, as Nevaeh tried to catch her with a mule kick to her knee cap. Again Dawn asked her if she wanted to quit, getting another shake of her head from the World’s Finest.

Dante: I wouldn’t ask her about quitting. I’d let these two absolutely maul one another as much as they wanted. Maybe even give them weapons.

Zack: More examples of why you will never be a referee in any match in FFW. Or even a commentator after tonight.

Nevaeh changed up her tactics and started to walk forwards, pulling Luci with her towards the ropes and hooked her foot over the bottom rope. Dawn asked Summers if she really wanted a rope break, getting her a glare from the trapped Atlanta native which prompted the referee to call for the break and start a slow count. She got to two before Luci managed to pull Neveah backwards half a step and sent her down to the mat with a Full Nelson suplex. The former FFW Champion held the back of her head as she got to her feet just as Luci darted past her, heading towards the ropes which saw Summers spin and set off after her. The Australian hopped up onto the middle rope to springboard into what looked like it was going to be a reverse frankensteiner but landed on her feet as Neveah wasn’t where she expected her to be. Instead the World’s Finest was bouncing off the same set of ropes and launching herself into a forearm smash which sent the New South Wales native to the mat.

Dante: You really need to stop bringing that contract stuff up. I’m telling you I’ll be in this booth in 2021.

Zack: Planning on visiting it before the shows then?

Jamieson started to rise and as she did she was caught with another running forearm smash. Luci quickly came back to her feet and as she did so, Nevaeh took her down with a jumping neckbreaker. The Australian rolled to the side holding her neck before she began to push up to her feet as Nevaeh was laid out on the canvas, holding her head in both hands. Luci almost got all the way back up to her feet before Neveah started to move on the canvas, immediately kipping to her feet. There was a fired up look on the face of the World’s Finest as she did so and fired off a thrust kick into her opponent’s gut before she drove her down into the canvas with the Grand Finale snap double underhook DDT. Summers rolled Luci over and made the cover, hooking the leg as Dawn slid into position and started the count.

Zack: That’s the GRAND FINALE, and this one’s over, I think!

One…

Two…

...THRE----

Dante: Oh, I think Luci has made a judgment call here. Let’s see what she has to share.

Luci didn’t move a muscle as Dawn’s hand started to come down for the three before she shook her head and slid out of the ring and made towards the announcer. Nevaeh came to her feet and stared a hole through Lohan’s back as the official talked to Kat, the ring announcer taking a deep breath before she nodded her head. As Lohan made her way back to the ring, the announcer raised the microphone to her lips.

Kat: Ladies and Gentlemen, the referee has informed me that this is now a Submissions Match!!!

Zack: Are you serious?!

Dante: What a WONDERFUL woman! We’re getting a bonus submission match tonight besides the No Surrender gauntlet later.

As Dawn slid into the ring and came to her feet she was immediately accosted by Nevaeh while Luci was starting to get to her feet. As Summers argued with Dawn, the referee told her that she thought a submissions match was a wonderful idea and a worthy way of determining who the most wonderful performer of the modern age should face on Pay Per View. The Georgia native looked to be growing angrier with Lohan and pulled back her fist to strike her only for Dawn to remind her that she was still the referee and this match was still in progress...but to go ahead IF she wanted to lose. Nevaeh shook her head and spun around towards her Australian foe who was upright and surprised the American with a roundhouse kick to the side of the head. As the former FFW Champion stumbled, Luci grabbed her wrist and jerked her into an inverted stomp facebreaker, keeping hold of her wrist as she fell to the mat and pulling Nevaeh down into the Overdose guillotine choke.

Zack: Since when does the referee have the power to change the match type mid-match?

Dante: Why are you complaining? She’s giving our fans more for their money’s worth!

Luci had it locked in tight in the middle of the ring with her legs wrapped around her foe’s body. Summers struggled against the hold trying desperately to find an escape while her legs kicked out in all directions behind her, trying to find the ring ropes. None were within reach as her movements started to fade. Luci wrenched the hold in tighter, and the World’s Finest stopped moving. Dawn checked on the World’s Finest before she raised her arm in the air and watched it fall to the mat. She did it a second time and then raised it a third time. As it dropped to the mat, the bell rang and Luci released the hold, coming to her feet to celebrate as Dawn rolled out of the ring and stormed towards the timekeepers area where she berated the timekeeper for ringing the bell before once again turning her attention to Kat. As Dawn told her something once more, Grayson rolled her eyes and while Lohan returned to the ring and started to talk to Luci, waving off her celebrations, the ring announcer brought the microphone to her lips once more.

Kat: Ladies and Gentlemen… the referee has advised that this contest is NOT over. And that this is now….A TABLES MATCH!!

Zack: This is ridiculous! Dawn is stacking the deck by having these two try to maim each other before they face her!

Dante: Sounds damn brilliant to me! Though I don’t think Dawn is that malevolent personally.

Luci shook her head at the announcement and demanded that Dawn raise her hand only for the official to refuse, telling her that if she wanted to win the match, she’d need to put Nevaeh through a table. The official looked down to the slowly stirring World’s Finest and seemed to tell Luci if she was quick it could be an easy win for her. Once more Luci shook her head, telling Dawn that as soon as she got her hands on her, she’d make her regret her choices before the Australian rolled out underneath the bottom rope and retrieved a table from beneath the ring, sliding it under the bottom rope.

Zack: First submissions, now a table match! Luci’s getting the lumber, but what’s next? Is she gonna want a Chamber built?

Dante: Don’t be silly. There’s not enough people for a Chamber.

Meanwhile Nevaeh had rolled away towards the ring ropes and started to slowly pull herself upright. Luci took the opportunity to manhandle the table into the corner, propping it up against the turnbuckles before she turned and darted towards her opponent, leaping up onto her shoulders where she looked to snap off a headscissors takedown...only to land hard on the mat as Summers blocked the move by holding onto the top rope. Luci looked to come to her feet only for Nevaeh to immediately send her back down to the mat with a bicycle kick to her jaw before the World’s Finest fell back against the ring ropes once more as she looked to be trying to get her breath back. The New South Wales native started back to her feet and as she did so, Summers stepped forwards quickly and launched herself into a leg lariat to take her opponent back down to the mat. Once more the Australian began to rise and was taken back down to the canvas with the Golden State of Mind running leg drop bulldog.

Zack: GOLDEN STATE OF MIND, and this match should have been over twice already.

Dante: I don’t understand why you are so anti-fan when she’s giving them added value!

Summers rolled away to the ropes once more and pulled herself upwards to her feet, giving her head a little shake as she was still breathing deeply. Luci began to push herself upwards and as she got vertical, the former FFW Champion stepped forwards and caught her with a forearm to the side of her head, followed by a second and then a third before she Irish whipped Luci into the corner. As the Newcastle born wrestler hit the turnbuckles, Summers darted in after her and caught her with a two footed dropkick to her chest. Again Nevaeh was slow to her feet but as she came upright she yanked her foe into another Irish whip that sent her back first into the table which did not break. Luci lay back against the wooden surface of the table and Nevaeh measured her foe up before she set off across the ring and launched herself into a splash...that saw her crash chest first into the table as Luci stepped out of the way at the last moment. Again the table managed to hold firm and as the Atlanta native stepped backwards, Luci took her down to the mat with a snap dragon suplex.

Dante: Just think how many people watching at home on All Access are right now buying longer subscriptions just for all the extra action they are getting tonight?

Zack: I guarantee you virtually no one is adding to their subscription to see Dawn referee.

The two women started to come back to their feet simultaneously only for Luci to strike first as the pair made it upright, coming forwards and leaping into a codebreaker. It sent Summers staggering backwards as she bounced off her foes knees and into the ring ropes before she came  forwards, straight into Luci’s grip as the New South Wales wrestler scooped her up and drove her into the canvas with a spinebuster. Again, Nevaeh looked to sit up, getting pulled up to her feet where she was sent into the ropes with an Irish whip once more and this time was caught on the rebound with a snap powerslam. Nevaeh arched her back up off the mat and instinctively rolled onto her side, holding her spine with one hand as she did so.

Dante: C’mon, this was billed as a tables match! Let’s see more tables!

Zack: It was NOT billed as a tables match!

Luci headed towards the corner and climbed to the top rope, waving Summers upwards and as the Georgia born wrestler made it slowly to her feet, Luci launched herself into a missile dropkick to her chest. Nevaeh hit the mat and sat up only for Luci to set off towards the ropes, bouncing off them and coming back to drive a running knee strike into her opponent’s jaw to lay her back down on the mat. The Australian didn’t waste any time at all as she once more took off towards the ropes, hopping up onto the middle rope and launching herself backwards into a lionsault. It caught Nevaeh perfectly across the chest. Dawn applauded Luci as she leaned in an empty corner, causing the Australian to shoot her an evil look.

Dante: Look how supportive Dawn is of Luci here. When’s the last time you saw a referee on the payroll like that?

Zack: I haven’t, and with good reason. Are you trying to add her to your clientele or something?

Luci shook her head at the official, telling her that this was just a precursor to what was going to happen to her as soon as this match was over, causing Dawn to shrug her shoulders and tell the Australian she had to win the match first. It caused Luci to pull Nevaeh upwards and turn her around so that the American’s back was to the table before she dropped to her knees to deliver a jawbreaker that saw Summers fall back against the wooden table top. Luci popped back to her feet and unloaded on Neveah with a series of knife edge chops before she circled around the ring to the opposite corner, dropping down to one knee and pounding the mat with two hands before she exploded forwards and left her feet looking for a double knee strike to her foe’s chest. The former FFW Champion though spotted it coming and stepped forward to try and catch her, wrapping her hands around her legs and losing her balance, falling backwards and both women crashing through the table.

Dante: They both went through the table! Does that mean they both lose and Dawn doesn’t have to face the winner?

Zack: If she has her way, I’m sure that’ll be the case. I’d say make her face them both.

Dawn took a deep breath as she saw them both crash through the table and shook her head and once more stepped out of the ring and headed towards the timekeepers. Again she talked to Kat, demanding another announcement from the Australian before she turned back to the ring and slid in as Luci and Nevaeh were starting to pull themselves out of the wreckage of the table and to their feet.

Kat: Ladies and Gentlemen, the referee has been unable to determine a clear winner in this instance. Therefore, to decide who gets to participate in the Most Wonderful Match of the Year, against the Most Wonderful Performer of the Modern Era...This will now be a Last Woman Standing Match!!!

Zack: For the love of…. There’s not going to be anything left of Nevaeh and Luci after this match.

Dante: You’re smarter than I thought you were. It’s just all in the name of added value, Hudson.

Luci and Neveah were both back to her feet and leaning against the ring ropes as they heard the announcement and both stared daggers at the referee. Dawn shrugged and reminded them once more she was the referee and they couldn’t touch her before ordering the match to continue. Nevaeh and Luci still gave the referee the death stare before they turned their attention towards each other. The two staggered forwards and as soon as they were in range of each other the pair started to throw bombs at each other, launching big right hands at their opponent’s jaw as the effects of this match had obviously taken their toll.

Zack: I’m amazed either one of them have anything left in their tanks after being put through all these hoops by Dawn.

Dante: Hoops? She’s just trying to make sure we have a clear winner before they face ehr. I think it’s very benevolent of her towards our viewers.

They exchanged five big right hands each, each blow causing the women to waver and stagger slightly before they replied. As Summers loaded up for a sixth shot, Luci managed to get her arm up to block it before she stepped forwards and crashed a headbutt into Neveah’s nose. Summers stepped backwards a moment before she stepped forwards and crashed a headbutt into Luci’s face that sent her back a step. It saw Luci check her nose for blood before she dropped back to the ropes and launched herself off them to drive a superman punch into Neveah’s jaw to drop her to the mat. The former FFW Champion held her jaw as she instantly rolled to one knee and launched herself into a spear that took Luci down to the canvas.

Zack: Big time spear, but I don’t know where Nevaeh is finding the resources to keep this going.

Dante: Maybe she’s so inspired by Dawn’s progressive officiating that she wants to make a good impression.

Nevaeh rolled away after delivering the move and pulled Luci upwards and straight into an exploder suplex that sent her down to the mat. Luci hit the mat and rolled upwards only for Summers to grab hold of her head, pulling her upwards only to drive her face first into the canvas with a sitout facebuster. Nevaeh slowly came to her feet once more and again pulled Luci up to her feet, pushing her back into the ring ropes before she fired her across the ring into the ropes. As she returned the World’s Finest lifted her opponent off her feet and went for a spinebuster only for Luci to counter into a DDT that left both women laying on the mat. Dawn was booed by the crowd as she started a slow count on the two women.

Dante: She’s even giving them a very methodical count to give them every chance to get back to her feet.

Zack: If she counted any slower, we’re gonna have to pay another night’s rental on the Garden!

As Dawn reached three, Luci and Neveah started to come to their feet, both looking unsteady as they made it to their feet. Luci was the first to react, crashing a boot into her foe’s jaw with a Savate kick that saw Summers fight to keep her balance and gave Luci the perfect opening to launch herself into the Shattered spinning knee strike to Nevaeh’s temple. It only got air as Summers fell to one knee from the Savate kick. The former FFW Champion forced herself to her feet and caught the spinning Luci with a European uppercut to her jaw before she hoisted her up onto her shoulders and into The Makeover. Luci collapsed on the mat and Summers staggered backwards to the ring ropes, leaning against them as Dawn started the count.

Zack: Let’s hope this count actually is consistent, but I won’t hold my breath.

One…

Two…

Three…

Four…

Luci rolled to the side and started to try and push herself up, only to fall straight back down to the mat.

Five…

Six…

Luci managed to get her knees underneath and come to all fours as Nevaeh watched the count.

Seven..

Eight…

Luci forced herself to one knee. Meanwhile Dawn moved a little closer to Nevaeh.

Nine…

….TEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dante: Now how WONDERFUL was that?

Zack: Wonderful? This match has been a farce with two talented women wrecking each other for Dawn’s amusement.

Jamieson rose to her feet as the ten count was made only for her legs to give way and send her straight back down to the canvas. Dawn called for the bell and immediately spun around and cracked Nevaeh in the jaw with a sucker punch of a right hand, sending her down to the mat.

Dante: Oh look, the next match has started!

Kat: Here is the winner of the first fall and progressing to the ahem… “Most Wonderful Match of the Year”...against the “Most Wonderful Performer of the Modern Era”.... NEVAEH SUMMERS!!!!

Zack: One day, Dawn Lohan is gonna get what’s coming to her! It may not be tonight, but it’s gonna happen.

Dawn dove on top of Nevaeh, taking up the mount position and continued to drive her fist into her forehead. Finally the former FFW Champion managed to shove Lohan off of her and rolled onto her front as Dawn peeled off her referee shirt before she pulled the Hall of Famer up into a camel clutch, wrapping the shirt around her neck and using that to pull back on her opponent’s head, choking her as she did so. Ashley Pruitt sprinted down to the ring and called for the bell as she immediately called for the break and started a quick count on Dawn, getting her to break at four.

Zack: Finally a competent referee!

Dante: Yes, Dawn was very competent. I agree with that assessment.

Dawn came back to her feet, holding her referee’s shirt in one hand and grabbed hold of the top rope as she started to drive boots into her opponent’s body while Vincent helped Luci out of the ring and checked on her. Again the referee called for separation between the two wrestlers and started the count, getting to four before the Franchise member stepped away. It was only a momentary respite for Nevaeh before Lohan came back towards her, pulling her up to her feet and once more wrapped the referee’s shirt around her throat, pulling it tight as she choked her out once more. The official demanded the break once more and used the five count, getting to four before Lohan sent her across the ring with the aid of the shirt.

Zack: Just disqualify her and get it over with! This is a farce anyway!

Dante: Do you think our subscribers want to see a disqualification/ They want to see a clear cut winner!

Pruitt started to read Dawn the riot act jerking the referee shirt out of her grip as Lohan watched the World’s Finest come back to her feet and fall backwards against the turnbuckle pads before she darted forwards and caught her foe with a helluva kick to the jaw. Summer slumped in the corner and Dawn climbed onto the middle rope, outstretching her arms to play to the crowd who booed her loudly which saw the Franchise member start to fire off a series of right hands into her forehead. She delivered nine shots to the head of the Atlanta born wrestler before Summers wrapped her arms around her legs and stepped forwards out of the corner. The eyes of the Most Wonderful Performer of the Modern Era went wide and her mouth formed an O as she was carried out of the corner before getting slammed down to the mat with an Alabama slam. Dawn’s back arched up off the mat for a moment before she came back to her feet. As she did so, Nevaeh was also pulling herself up - albeit a lot slower after the contest with Luci. As Summers got to her feet, Dawn re-established control as she caught her foe with a side kick to her gut before following it up with a sitout facebuster.

Zack: Where on Earth is Nevaeh finding these reserves? It has to be out of pure loathing for Dawn!

Dante: How could anyone loathe Dawn? She’s WONDERFUL!

Dawn had a scowl on her face as she came back to her feet once more and pulled her foe to her feet, driving knees into her face before she Irish whipped her into the corner. Summers hit the turnbuckle pads and Dawn charged towards her, leaving her feet to catch her opponent with a high knee to the underside of her jaw before she followed it up by jerking the World’s Finest out of the corner and driving her face first into the canvas with a running bulldog. Dawn rolled up to her feet once again and played to the crowd as she waved her opponent upwards, waiting until she came to all fours before she stepped forwards and delivered a guillotine leg drop across the back of her head to send her down to the mat. Lohan rolled her onto her back and made the cover.

Zack: Nevaeh’s still in this match, but for how much longer?

One…

Two…

...THRE-

Dante: Not much, by my professional calculations!

Summers rolled her shoulder and got a shake of the head from Lohan who grabbed hold of a handful of hair and yanked her towards the ring ropes where she threw her throat first against the middle rope and then laid across her back, choking her out once more as she pulled the plastic covered cable upwards into her fellow blonde’s throat. Pruitt again called for the break and was forced to make the count which Dawn milked for every millisecond, coming to her feet a moment before the official would have been forced to disqualify her. Lohan ignored the referee’s telling off as she instantly took off across the ropes and came back with a leaping double knee strike to her back that forced her against the ropes once more. Summers fell to the side on the canvas and Dawn waved her upwards, letting her come to her feet before she skipped forwards and drove a football style kick into her ribcage that caused Summers to roll underneath the bottom rope. Lohan brought her hand up to shield her eyes as she looked out to the crowd and after a second or two raised her hands in the air as if to signal a touchdown.

Dante: I’ve just awarded Dante six points right there!

Zack: Good for you, that and $3 will buy her a cup of coffee at Starbucks!

With a grin on her face, Dawn pulled Nevaeh back into the ring by her wrist and brought her back to her feet only to plant her down into the canvas with a snap DDT. Lohan immediately rolled out to the apron and came to her feet where she grabbed hold of the top rope and launched herself into the ring with the Breaking Dawn springboard flip legdrop. Quickly Dawn made the cover.

Dante: That’s BREAKING DAWN!! And what a stirring come from behind win for Dawn!

One…

Two…

...THRE---

Zack: It’s only two, and how in God’s name is this a come from behind win anyway?

Again Nevaeh rolled her shoulder to stop the count in its tracks and Dawn shook her head as she looked at Summers while coming back to her feet and started to stomp down at her body. Once more Pruitt intervened, telling her to let the former FFW Champion to her feet and started the count, Lohan only backing away with her hands raised as the referee reached four in the count. Dawn waved Summers upwards, watching and waiting for her to get to her knees before the Most Wonderful Performer stepped forward and unloaded upon Nevaeh with the Lohan Barrage, driving shoot kicks into her body before finishing it off with a running high knee to her opponent’s head. Summers dropped to the mat and again Dawn made the cover.

Dante: Now it’ll be three! WONDERFUL!!

One…

Two…

...THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!NNNNNNNOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Zack: I don’t know where she’s finding it, but I’m glad Nevaeh is, nonetheless!

Summers got the shoulder up from the mat in the nick of time and Pruitt waved off the count, showing the two to the timekeepers and then to Lohan. It brought the Franchise member to her feet as she started to tear into the official verbally, telling her that it was a three. Lohan called for the bell and started to celebrate her victory...only for Pruitt to jerk her arms down and tell her the match was still going, reminding the Most Wonderful Performer that she wasn’t the referee for this contest. As Dawn argued once more with the referee, Summers started to stir, crawling towards Dawn and pulled her backwards into a schoolgirl roll up for the pin attempt.

Dante: Look at her trying to steal the win here!

One…

Two…

...THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!NNNNNNNOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Zack: That’s 100% legal, but it didn’t work.

Dawn kicked out in the nick of time and looked to the referee in shock as she was almost pleading for the two. The referee confirmed that it was only a two count and Lohan breathed a sigh of relief as she quickly popped up to her feet and caught Summers before she could push up to her feet with the Swift Justice shining wizard to the side of her head. Nevaeh fell to the mat once more and Dawn shook her head as she pulled the former FFW Champion up to her feet and Irish whipped her across the ring into the corner. The Atlanta born wrestler hit the turnbuckle pads and Dawn charged forwards, launching herself into a splash attempt...and hit the turnbuckles chest first as Neveah slid through the ropes to the apron in the nick of time. As Dawn stumbled backwards, Summers grabbed hold of the back of her head and slammed her face first into the top turnbuckle, following it up with a forearm smash before she launched herself into the ring and took Dawn down to the canvas with a slingshot spear.

Dante: You keep asking where Nevaeh is finding this energy from. Maybe she’s found a new addiction, if you catch my drift.

Zack: I can pull your mic cable before the show is over, just so you know.

Nevaeh rolled to the side and used the ring ropes to pull herself upwards, immediately stepping away from them as she drove a knife edge chop into Lohan’s chest that caused Dawn to cover up and step away. Another knife edge chop followed it before Summers dropped back to the ropes and charged Lohan, taking her off her feet with a sling blade clothesline. Once more, Lohan started to come to her feet where she was immediately caught by Nevaeh who jerked her into position to snap off a side Russian leg sweep. As the pair landed on the canvas, Summers rolled on top of her and into the mount position where she immediately started to drive forearm shots into Dawn’s face. Lohan tried to cover up as the official called for the break and started to use the count. Neavaeh pulled Lohan up to her feet and straight into a back suplex that dropped her onto her back. Once more Nevaeh rolled on top of her foe and this time started to spike the point of her elbow into her opponent’s forehead from the mount position.

Zack: Nevaeh’s elbow caught Dawn right on the forehead, and I’m amazed she’s not knocked out already.

Dante: There’s probably something stuck in that pad!

Again the referee called for the break and used the count to get it as Dawn covered up once more only for Summers to come to her feet on the count of four, pulling Lohan up with her before she hoisted her up off her feet and slammed her down with a front suplex. Nevaeh stepped backwards to lean against the ropes as the crowd were cheering her loudly as she waved Lohan upright. As Dawn came to one, the World’s Finest darted forwards and spiked her foe’s head into the mat with a hurricanrana. This time Summers held on for the pinfall.

Dante: This isn’t going to work! Dawn’s too wonderful!

One…

Two…

...THRE--

Zack: You’re right about it not working. We’ll agree to disagree on the rest of that statement.

Dawn got her shoulder up at the last moment and Summers looked to the referee who confirmed the two count to her. The World’s Finest nodded her head and pulled Lohan up to her feet as she looked to lock her into a double underhook, setting up for the Grand Finale. As the crowd got loud for Summers, the Franchise member managed to free her arms and wrap them around the legs of the FFW Hall of Famer, as she took her down to the canvas with a double leg takedown. Lohan backed up a couple of steps and as Summers pushed upwards, Dawn dropped back to the ring ropes to build up momentum before she launched herself into a sliding forearm into Nevaeh’s face. Quickly Dawn rolled out of the ring to the apron and started to wave the World’s Finest upright. As Nevaeh got her feet beneath her and turned to face her, the Franchise member launched herself up onto the top rope and delivered the WONDERFUL-Forearm into Nevaeh’s jaw, sending her down to the mat once more.

Dante: That’s it right there! This is already over!

Zack: I’m afraid you may be right, loathe as I am to admit it.

Lohan quickly headed towards the corner and climbed to the top rope where she perched on the top rope where she started to measure Nevaeh up before she launched herself off and into the New Dawn 450 splash. As she came down, the World’s Finest got her knees up and Lohan crashed into them painfully. The Franchise member rolled away and came back to her feet as Lohan scrambled to come upright. As she did so, Summers caught her by the wrist, jerking her forwards and lifting her up onto her shoulders for The Makeover, throwing Dawn forwards and driving a knee into her face. Lohan fell backwards to the canvas and Nevaeh dove on top of her to hook the leg for the cover.

Zack: That’s the MAKEOVER!! Is she gonna...

One…

Two…

...THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Zack: SHE DID IT!!

Dante How the fu…..

Summers rolled away and lay back on the mat, the referee checking that she was okay as Dawn rolled off to the side, holding her head. Pruitt helped Nevaeh to her feet and raised her hand into the air to a roar from the crowd.

Kat: Here is your winner, by way of pinfall… NEVAEH SUMMERS!!!

Zack: Nevaeh Summers withstood everything that Dawn could come up with to try to stop her, and it didn’t work! Nevaeh’s been vindicated, as far as I’m concerned.

Dante; No, really. How the fu--

The referee raised Nevaeh’s hand once more, the Georgia native celebrating her win to the cheers from the crowd. As Dawn started to push upwards, Neveah headed towards her, pulling her into a snap double underhook DDT. After delivering the Grand Finale, Nevaeh rolled out of the ring and started to head up the entrance ramp with her arm raised in victory as her other arm held her head. The crowd were cheering her wildly as the show cut elsewhere.

No Surrender Subtraction

The camera follows a seemingly excited Colin Arthur before he heads through the doorway into the locker room of his wife, the reigning No Surrender Champion Lilly Arthur. With her match not too far away, she’s already in her ring gear ready to go when it’s time.

Colin: So I was just told some great news about your match tonight, heard it directly from the Evolutionary No Surrender Commissioner… or whatever her title is now that she’s gotten expanded reach.

Lilly: Yeah? You’ve got some great news straight from Dr. McCloud’s mouth about this No Surrender gauntlet match? I’m on the edge of my seat to find out what she has decreed? Is it the entry order for the match, by any chance or she is keeping that a surprise and we find out when Kat announces it?

Colin: Well that’s not entirely it, but she did say it was going to be determined right before you three go out to the ring. You’ll each draw straws. The shortest two start, and the longest gets to be last. That made sense especially since it’s hard to find a three-sided coin, ya know?

Lilly: True. And I guess that’s easier than doing Rock, Paper, Scissors to determine entry. Probably the fairest way to do it too. Can’t really complain too much if you’re in charge of your own destiny and get to choose the straw yourself. Did you manage to find out anything else from the newly promoted Commissioner?

Colin: Yeah, the bigger news that I came to tell you that I think will make your night a little bit easier. Thanks to Knox shooting his mouth off earlier to the No Surrender Commissioner of Evolutionary Matters, she has decided no managers will be allowed at ringside during the No Surrender Gauntlet. So that means no Kyle or Dante, just you and Valerie and Cassandra!

Lilly: That’s great news!! Especially given how matches between Cassandra and I when Dante has been around have ended. And Kyle really isn’t all that much better most of the time. Now, though, it really is a case of may the best woman win. There won’t be any excuses. Just, maybe, some sour grapes from Dante claiming his client couldn’t benefit from his wisdom or some such crap - as he did when he was in the cage.

Colin: And maybe less chance of ten dollars in quarters making an appearance during the match. Hopefully the referee pats Cassandra down very thoroughly.

Lilly: Hopefully. I’m starting to get the imprint of a roll of quarters on my jaw and I’d really rather not. Plus, as I’ve said before Cassandra really doesn’t need them. She’s dangerous enough. Look at what she did to Lydia Charisma for heaven’s sake and the run that she went on throughout Future Shock. Though on top of that the chance that I might end up facing McKinley too...and this might just be the most difficult match of my career. Certainly one of the toughest anyway.

Colin: You can do it, I believe in you!

As he shared a kiss with his wife, that’s when the show returned to the ring for the next match.

A video package of the history between Carys, Madyson, and Cait from Future Shock is shown before we head back to the ring. Since it’s a Future Shock match, that’s where we find Lexi standing in the ring.

Lexi: The following contest is a triple threat elimination match for the Future Shock Diamond Championship!

Zack: This match right here has been a long time coming, as Future Shock viewers no doubt will tell you. And if you haven’t seen these girls before, you’re in for a barnburner. I’ve got my Future Shock broadcast partner here with me, Claire Black. Outside of the tag team division, I think this title has the most animosity built around it right now, Claire.

Claire: You are exactly right Zack. A lot of that fuelled by Cait Flanagan who has poured gasoline on the flames at pretty much every opportunity that has been presented to her and it has made her public enemy number 1 for both Madyson Stone and Carys McFarlane.

The opening of Madonna’s “Material Girl” begins playing as Cait Flanagan steps out onto the ramp. With a wink, she licks her index finger and touches it to the ground and as she passes the spot, flames shoot up behind her. She reaches into her tights and pulls out a wad of cash, fanning it out for the crowd to see. Kyle follows after her with a smile on his face.

She tousles her hair and fans herself with the money, then shrugs and tosses it behind her, letting it get eaten up by the flames. Cait puts her hand up to her mouth as she seems to realize what she’s done, but then she shrugs her shoulders and cackles.

You know that we are living in a material world, and I am a material girl…

Still laughing, Cait skips the rest of the way down to the ring, tossing her hair over her shoulder and blowing mocking kisses to the men in the audience. She ascends the steps and ducks through the ropes as Kyle opens them for her, as she’s winking at the referee.

Lexi: From Belfast, Northern Ireland, she is The Million Dollar Baby, Cait! Flanagan!

She seems to thank Lexi for her introduction and goes to her corner, laying across the turnbuckle and giving her opponent a cheeky little wave as she waits for things to get started.

Zack: That animosity I mentioned? It’s all centered around this woman right here! Cait Flanagan has caused all kinds of strife around the Diamond Championship, and I have a feeling she’s going to be the target right out of the gate.

Claire: You’re right Zack, she’s been picking fights with both of these women and tonight is going to be the night when it all comes home to roost. Though, you’ve got to imagine that she expects that and Kyle will have gotten her fully prepared to be in the crosshairs of both her opponents.

The lights go out completely as Sisters Are Doing It for Themselves” starts to play. A lightning effect of white and blue pyrotechnics erupt, lighting up the stage for a second at a time. In each of the flashes the silhouette of three female figures standing in a line on the stage.

We said, "Sisters are doin' it for themselves"
Standin' on their own two feet
And ringin' on their own bells
We said, "Sisters are doin' it for themselves"

The pyrotechnics finish and as the lights come back up a sound like thunder plays on top of the music track and a puff of smoke comes from the bottom of the stage, still hiding the female figures for a moment. The smoke clears to reveal the three Stone sisters; Melody, Madyson and Mikayla standing hand in hand with their heads raised, looking towards the ceiling.

Now this is a song to celebrate
The conscious liberation of the female state
Mothers, daughters and their daughters too, oh yeah
Woman to woman, we're singin' with you

Lexi: Introducing alongside Melody and Mikayla of Trinity, this is…...MADYSON STONE!!

They unlink their hands and take off to the ring at a run and all jump up onto the apron at the same time. Melody and Madyson stand at a corner each, while Mikayla jumps up to sit on the top rope; all facing out towards the crowd. The two older sisters climb through the ropes while Mikayla stands up on the top rope and then backflips into the ring to land between them with a smirk. The three make their way to the corner and share some hushed words as the music comes to an end.

Zack: Madyson brought her sisters, as she always does. And given we are dealing with a member of the Gold Standard, that’s probably for the best. Cait stole this woman’s title shot several weeks ago, all because Madyson eliminated her from the tournament to crown the first champion.

Claire: Definitely a wise move of Madyson to bring her sisters out here to act as a counterbalance to Kyle. And if Stone hadn’t been trapped in her locker room because of Cait, she could well be the Diamond Champion already. Instead she caused Carys to get disqualified and gave Cait the chance to press home her claim for this title instead.

His frost performed its art
And it has stained my tainted heart
Just leave me to my solitude
It's where I feel at home
Since that cold night
When my love cried

The synths give way to the heavier beats of Delain’s “Suckerpunch”, which brings a cheer from the crowd as the lights turn all colours of the rainbow. From the back steps Carys McFarlane. Stopping dead centre, she extends her arms out wide, spinning in a circle as pyro goes off around her.

Lexi: On her way to the ring, from Edinburgh, Scotland, weighing in at 130 pounds, please welcome the reigning and defending Future Shock Diamond Champion…… “THE HUMAN PINBALL”, CARYS MCFARLANE!!

With the announcement out of the way, the young blonde takes off down the ramp, slamming her hands against the apron and using it to vault herself into a handspring and then onto the top rope, straddling it.

"Would you fall, give it all
Would you give it all for me?
Suckerpunch the demons from my dreams
Would you fall, give it all
Would you give it all for me?"
Get out of my dreams!

She drops from the rope and heads to the corner, leaping onto the turnbuckle and shouting out towards the crowd, a huge grin on her face. She then takes to the top buckle and vaults backwards, landing on her feet from a backflip. Finally, she heads towards her best friend and ring announcer, Lexi, high fiving her before she settles in her corner

Zack: It was August 25th when Carys McFarlane outlasted three other women to claim the Diamond Championship in a heroic performance. She’s struggled considerably to keep up that success, but a win tonight can put all that out of everyone’s mind.

Claire: Carys is one of the most exciting, dynamic competitors in Future Shock and one of the most experienced. Like you said, she has struggled to keep up the standards that she set BUT on any given night, she’s capable of beating anyone in this industry.

Referee Ashley Pruitt takes the title from Carys, and holds it high over her head after checking for foreign objects. Lexi then takes the title with her before the bell sounds to start the match. Madyson and Carys exchange glances and take off towards Cait, who immediately rolls out under the bottom rope to the floor. Stone rolls out to the floor, and takes off after her as Flanagan bolts around the ring. Cait darted back under the ropes into the ring to get away from her, but ran into Carys! The champion starts unloading with furious right hands to her head as soon as she turns around. The fans eat it up as she lays into the redhead, and whips her into the far corner. The champion follows her in with a splash, and gets out of the way before Madyson follows after her with a corner clothesline. They whip her across to the far side, looking for a double clothesline. But Flanagan ducks underneath it, and dives out of the ring on the other side.

Zack: Cait definitely has a target on her, and she’s on her bicycle now trying to get away from Madyson and Carys! She’s gonna have to face them sooner or later if she wants to be Diamond Champion.

Claire: You’re right there Zack. I think she might be hoping against hope that Carys and Madyson turn on each other and forget about her until one has eliminated the other.

Madyson was about to go out after her before Carys goes for a schoolgirl rollup from behind. The referee slides into position as Cait almost runs into the other two Stone sisters, and collapses on the floor immediately.

Zack: Carys looking to surprise Madyson right here!

ONE!!!

Madyson kicked out in time before the two even raised up off the mat. The brunette rolled away from her before the referee glanced around to see Cait down at the feet of Mikayla and Melody.

Claire: Maybe a little too early to be going for that sort of surprise. And to honest, I’m kinda shocked that their alliance fell apart this soon. I figured they’d both be happy to pinball Cait back and forth a little longer.

Kyle darted around the corner to help his client back to her feet, telling the referee that the sisters hit Cait during the pinfall. Pruitt leans through the ropes to interrogate Mikayla and Melody before telling them to leave ringside. Madyson went to her sisters’ defense as she saw Pruitt ejecting Mikayla and Madyson, while Cait was sliding back into the ring on the other side. Cait went into offense as Carys turned towards her, catching her with a running knee to the body to double her over followed by a DDT.

Zack: The referee is throwing out Mikayla and Melody for attacking Cait on the outside. They never laid a finger on her!

Claire; Really? The referee is taking the word of Kyle Kilmeade and Cait Flanagan on face value? Does she not watch the shows? Or do you think she’d be interested in some Austrian Navy Surplus?

Cait went for the cover as Kyle told the referee to turn around, which she did and went to make the count. Madyson broke that up immediately before she could even count by dragging Cait to her feet by her hair, and starting to lay in forearms to her head one after another. Flanagan was sent into the corner before a running lungblower flipped her out to the canvas. Carys joined her in pulling the redhead to her feet, both women taking turns with knife edge chops across her chest. They backed her into the ropes, each shot resounding through the Garden. They both pulled her into a pair of knees to the body followed by a double gutbuster.

Zack: Well if Cait wanted to make Madyson more angry at her, I think that's a mission accomplished! And now the handicap match has begun!

Claire: Cait’s been caught and both these women are working out their frustrations on Flanagan.

Madyson grabbed her feet while Carys took her arms before the pair threw Cait into the air, and let her crash back to the mat. They then took turns with elbow drops to her body, each one trying to jump a little higher to hit that much harder. Madyson grabbed her feet into a catapult before Carys hit the near side ropes. As Cait was propelled forward, Carys darted past her with a leaping Superman punch to the jaw that dropped her out of midair. McFarlane went for the cover as Pruitt slid into position.

Zack: That was one hell of a Superman punch from the champion, and Cait’s night may be over already!

ONE!!

TW-NOO!!

Cait kicked out in time, and Madyson pulled the redhead back to her feet. She whipped her into the far side, allowing both her and Carys to catch her on the rebound with a flapjack to the mat. The New York crowd showed both of them plenty of support before Carys headed for the corner.

Claire: McFarlane looks like she’s ready to eliminate one of her challengers here!! High risk...but when the Diamond Championship is on the line and you’ve got a worldwide audience watching you, you pull out all the stops!

McFarlane went for a top rope elbow drop, but Cait rolled out of the way. The champion hit the mat hard, and Flanagan propelled herself towards the ropes. But that didn’t save her from Madyson, who caught her with a high knee to the back of her head as she got to her feet. Stone snapped her arms around Cait’s waist, hitting a German suplex before rolling through into another. Cait tried to grab the ropes, but got snapped into a third. A fourth followed that before she bridged up for the pin attempt!

Claire: Four huge German suplexes from Madyson and Cait felt the effects of each and everyone of those!! That’ll knock her loopy!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOO!!

Cait got her shoulder off the mat in time, and rolled away from Madyson. She was a bit more slow moving after those suplexes, but got back to her feet. Stone went straight at her, but walked into a spinning backfist that staggered her for a moment. A mule kick to the body doubled her over before Flanagan dropped her with a swinging neckbreaker.

Zack: Madyson is so focused on punishing Cait that her tunnel vision may be causing her problems. That was a lucky shot from Cait, but she’s capitalized on it well!

Cait took a moment to gather herself, seeing both of her opponents down on the canvas. Carys was starting to get up first though, and the redhead went after her immediately with a running European uppercut  that sent Carys stumbling backwards. Another uppercut sent her into the corner before Flanagan whipped her chest first into the opposite corner. The champion collided hard, and staggered backwards into a codebreaker before Cait went for the cover!

Zack: Cait’s gonna make this one on one in about three seconds!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOO!!!

TH-NOO!!!

Carys rolled her shoulder, and Cait started back to her feet. She found a revived Madyson waiting for her too as Stone yanked her forward into a lifting side slam. Kyle pounded the mat as he shouted to his client, while Madyson pulled her up into a half nelson leg sweep facebuster.

Claire: And there’s the catch in this match. In the early going it’s so hard to divide and conquer. Whenever your attention is on one, the other has time to recover.

Stone headed for the corner herself this time, but not to climb it. Instead she crouched in it, and glanced between both Carys and Cait. She waved one of them to get back up, and it was Carys who began to do just that first. But Cait wasn’t far behind her. Madyson glanced between the two of them, and took off with a spear! Cait pulled Carys in front of her to take the shot, and Madyson nearly folded the champion in half on impact. Before the brunette could get up, Cait used an axe kick to the back of her head to keep her down.

Claire: You have to hand it to Cait. That was excellent presence of mind right there to save herself from Madyson and then to put the Witch down!

Zack: Well she’s no doubt hired the best trainers money can buy. Them and Kilmeade continue to pay off tonight in the Garden!

The “Million Dollar Baby” stumbled backwards off the impact, and leaned against the ropes as Kyle moved around to give her some advice. She took in deep breaths as she listened to him, and then went to get Carys. She pulled her head between her legs in position for her finisher...but couldn’t hit it when Carys turned it into a backdrop driver. The blonde knelt as she started to get up, trying to get her bearings before pointing towards the corner and heading in that direction.

Zack: Carys avoided the IRISH GOODBYE, and now the Diamond Champion hasn’t seen a risk she won’t take! She’s heading back up!

Claire: I’m not sure this is wise from Carys given the state that she’s in...but they do say dance with the girl that brought you and this is the style that took McFarlane to the Diamond Championship

As Carys was doing that though, Madyson raised her head and saw Cait down on the mat. She crawled towards her to make the cover, causing Carys to wait on the pin to see if she needed to target Madyson instead. Pruitt slid into position to make the count, which allowed Kyle to hop up on the apron and shove Carys off the top rope! The Diamond Champion hit the barricade on the way down before crashing into the floor while the referee was counting!

Zack: DID YOU SEE THAT?! Pruitt didn’t!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NOOO!!!

Cait’s shoulder popped up in time before the three, and the referee raised her head to look around. There was no Carys in the ring as Madyson got back to her feet.

Claire: Do you think Adam will count that as interference in a match? Do you think Carys will get her five minutes with Kyle in the New Year? Pruitt should have thrown him out of here when she did that to the Stone Sisters.

Madyson grabbed Cait, pulling her into position for her own finisher. But Cait managed to grab the rope to stop her from lifting her. Stone unloading with double ax handle blows to her back to drive her down to the canvas. She dragged her away from the ropes this time, and went to pull her up again into position. But Flanagan had it well scouted, and drove Madyson back first into the corner to knock the wind out of her. The redhead collapsed to all fours, and tried to crawl away from the brunette.

Zack: Cait’s trying to avoid Madyson, and who can blame her? She has that finisher well scouted, and these three women have beaten the hell out of each other...and no one has been eliminated.

Claire: No, but you’ve got to wonder how much they’ve got left. Carys took a header off the top rope and into the barrier while Cait here is crawling away from Madyson.

Meanwhile, Carys had finally gotten to her feet on the floor. She held her ribs in pain, glancing from the ring...to Kyle. And she went right after him, darting around the corner and mowing him down with a clothesline before unloading with furious right hands to the head. The Garden crowd loved it as she yanked him to his feet. The manager staggered for a moment after the shots, and dove into the ring to get away from her. He scrambled across to the other side to try to get back out again, but the Diamond Champion caught him!

Zack: I think Carys is taking her five minutes right now, Claire! But she needs to focus on the two women in the match!

Claire: You’re right Zack, but Kyle brought this on himself. If he’d just stood and advised Cait...fine. If he didn’t want this, he shouldn’t have put his hand on a competitor.

Madyson spotted what was going on and went towards Carys, only to catch a low blow from Cait that dropped her to her knees. Carys had Kyle by the shirt, and shoved him into the corner. Cait shouted her name, causing the champion to turn around and catch a kick to the gut followed by her double underhook facebuster! Flanagan made the cover as the referee told Kyle to get out of the ring before she made the cover!

Zack: That’s the IRISH GOODBYE!!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Pruitt called for the first bell of the match as Cait rolled off the blonde. Kyle stumbled through the ropes out to the floor, while Cait was trying to get her breath back on all fours.

Lexi: Carys McFarlane has been ELIMINATED!!

Claire: Kyle took a beating but Cait picks up the first elimination tonight! We’re guaranteed a new Champion tonight!!!!

Cait sat up on her knees, still taking deep breaths until she saw a rising Madyson with a look of anger on her face. Flanagan’s mouth fell open as she looked into the eyes of the enraged witch, now back to her feet!

Zack: That we are, Claire! And oh...look at that face! Flanagan looks like she just saw her life flash before her eyes. You haven’t won yet, Cait, and Madyson…..that look will send chills down your spine!

Claire: If looks could kill they’d be carrying Cait out of here and to the morgue right now! Madyson has her in her sights and there’s no place left for Flanagan to hide!

The redhead got to her feet just before Stone took off towards her, unloading with wild lefts and rights aimed at her head. She backed Cait into the corner, and started throwing knees to the body next. Flanagan was then whipped across for the ride, and rebounded into a spinebuster! The brunette rolled back to her feet, and took off for the near side. She bounced back with a leg drop across the back of Cait’s head. She quickly rolled her over to make the cover.

Zack: Madyson’s about to make history as the new Diamond Champion!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NO!

But once again, the Gold Standard girl got her shoulder off the mat. Madyson got back to her feet, pacing back and forth as her anger was very easy to see. She gave the sign for her finisher again, and pulled Cait’s head between her legs. She landed it this time, driving Cait face first into the mat.

Zack: And there’s that ol’ BLACK MAGIC!! NEW CHAMPION!!

Stone dropped into the cover as the New York crowd came to their feet collectively. Madyson hooked both legs tightly!

Zack: That’ll do it!! All we need is the count! Where’s the….ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!

But the count wasn’t forthcoming. Pruitt had intercepted Kyle, who was now on the apron. Madyson pounded her fist on the canvas, shouting for a count until she saw where the referee was. She immediately popped up to her feet to go get her!

Claire: Pruitt should have sent him to the back with Melody and Mikayla. Or failing that had a trainer cart him out of here after Carys had beat him to a pulp. Then she wouldn’t have to deal with any of this now.

Stone shoved Kilmeade off the apron, and told the referee she wanted a count. This was the point where Cait surprised her from behind with a victory roll. Pruitt immediately dropped to make the count as Cait grabbed her manager’s hands above the referee’s head as she counted!

Zack: LOOK UP!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Pruitt called for the bell just as Madyson kicked out. Cait bolted out to the floor to get away from her as the New York City crowd rained boos on the “Million Dollar Baby.”

Lexi: Your winner by pinfall…..AND NEEEEEEEEEEEEEWWW Future Shock Diamond Champion…….’THE MILLION DOLLAR BABY’ CAIT FLANAGAN!!

Claire: Cait got the drop on Madyson and steals the Diamond Championship away - with a huge assist to Kyle. But she might just have gotten herself a death sentence from Madyson Stone after these antics.

Madyson pounded the mat in anger as Kyle grabbed the title to give to Cait before the pair headed towards the ramp at a high rate of speed. The referee rolled out to raise Cait’s hand before she embraced her manager...at least until she saw Madyson looking like she was heading for them.

Zack: You wanna talk about highway robbery? That was it! Cait Flanagan has stolen the Diamond Championship for herself and her manager! The Gold Standard adds a second piece of hardware to the ranks tonight at Crossed Out! And it may not be the last one tonight!

Claire: They may want to save the celebration and high tail it out of Dodge before Carys and Madyson hunt them down and take matters into their own hands!

Madyson rolled out of the ring, and did take off towards the pair before they darted up the ramp towards the back. As she chased after them, the show cut elsewhere.

The Bianca Factor

The owner of FFW is seen next, and Samantha is standing alongside a blonde Brazilian beauty. Who else other than the “Typhoon” Bianca Salvador?

Samantha: I have two things I wish to share. Let’s start with earlier tonight when Dawn Lohan refereed a match between Nevaeh Summers and Luci, to which Nevaeh won...and then went on to defeat Dawn immediately following. As a result of that match, Dawn elected to leave FFW and I didn’t stop her. Furthermore, senior referee Melinda Davis is officially reinstated, albeit on probation. Good luck to Dawn in whatever she elects to do with the next chapter of her life. What I want to focus on here though is a promise I made to this woman next to me. And that is naming the place and time of her rematch for the No Surrender Championship.

Bianca nods, without so much cracking her usual smirk.

Bianca: When I was forced out of FFW by unforeseen circumstances, I had to take the ridiculously difficult decision of relinquishing the belt back to FFW and give up my position as the No Surrender Champion. But hey, sports are as sports do, and that was the right thing to do, seeing as I knew I would have to stay away from FFW for…

The Witch of Winds seems to hesitate at this point.

Bianca: … a couple of months. But what really amused me about this whole thing, and the circumstances around my unceremonious departure was that some people… some narrow-minded, grass eating dim-witted simpletons could’ve possibly had the audacity to think I wasn’t good enough for the job. That I left because I’d peaked or something. That couldn’t be wronger if you were asked how much is 1 plus 1 and your answer was turkey sandwich -- not only Bianca Salvador hasn’t peaked, Bianca Salvador WANTS HER BELT BACK.

Samantha: And that moment deserves to be a large stage. And that large stage will be Relentless on March 6th here on FFW All Access in FFW’s home arena, the Staples Center. Bianca will challenge whoever is holding the titanium title at that time, no matter who might leave tonight with the title: that being either Lilly Arthur, Valerie McKinley or Cassandra Steen. In either of those three cases, Bianca will meet the champion at the 8th annual Relentless event.

And finally, the Typhoon smirks.

Bianca: Relentless is a good show for the Franchise. It was at Relentless that our mentor, Mikaela Demidov became FFW Champion. Jo McFarlane ended Leona Vega’s record-breaking run as Evolution Champion in 2017. My best friend Mel Avilo defeated Nevaeh Summers and began her road to becoming Evolution Champion at Relentless this year. But… Perhaps most interesting… It was at Relentless 2019 that yours truly defeated Savannah Taylor… And first became FFW No Surrender Champion. So! How about a repeat performance of that? A better opponent won’t change the end result, if it depends on me.

Samantha: But before we get there, I have a match in mind for the first show of 2021 for you at Breaking Point. It’s a woman you are not unfamiliar with, and she too would love to have the opportunity you’re getting. So if she wins this match, I’ll give her a shot as well. On the first Breaking Point, it’ll be yourself and Chaotic Temptation’s Emma Mackenzie!

Bianca: So a tango between two hardcore bitches who want the Titanium Belt. You know what? I can jive with that.

Bianca then flexes her arm to give the camera a good ole gun show.

Bianca: It’s hunting season, baby, and my guns are ablaze and ready to throw down.

A graphic shows us the match officially made for the first Breaking Point of 2021 before we head back to the ring for the next match.

The bell sounds a few times as we return to the ring, and see the lovely Kat Grayson in the center where she usually is at the start of a match.

Kat: The following contest is a submission gauntlet match for the FFW No Surrender Championship! Two women will start, and at the end of the first fall, a third will be added. The last woman remaining will be the FFW No Surrender Champion.

Zack: We heard a little earlier tonight that the three women involved will be drawing straws before they come out. We don’t know who is coming in what order though. We’ll find out together. Plus I get a break from Dante for this one, since he and Kyle are not allowed at ringside. Let me welcome back Future Shock Director Adam Grant to the booth.

Adam: Happy to be back. I enjoy doing commentary, and three graduates from Future Shock are about to meet up. So let’s do this.

The lights in the arena sharply cut off, leaving everything in complete darkness. The chiming of a clock is heard echoing in the darkness, followed by a chipper, circus like chime tone. As the tone chimes on, a vibrant gold spotlight shines down on the top of the stage. The circus chimes are soon replaced by the opening chorus of “Villain” by Wild Fire.

"Tic tic toc, the time bomb clock
Ticks grinning ear to ear here baby
Tic Tic Toc, the time bomb clock
ticks counting down...
tic, tic stop!"

At the exact moment “stop” is sung, the song kicks into full gear, setting off a series of shimmering gold strobe lights going off on either side of the ramp. A few seconds pass before the controversial redhead, Valerie McKinley makes her way out from behind the curtain and stands in the immediate center of the stage, standing in the gold spotlight.

"You know I speak in riddles,
And I’m plotting to destroy
Villain as I always was
Crazy is as crazy does"

Clad in a mid-thigh length leather jacket worn open over her gear, Valerie looks around at the crowd showering her with a rousing chorus of boos. The strobe lights begin to lessen in intensity as she makes her way down the aisle, her arms at her side and a focused look on her face. As she makes her way to the ring, the fans on either side of the aisle make their displeasure at her appearance rather noticeable, which Valerie simply dismisses with an arrogant flip of her hand.

"My sanity's in short supply
Mad as a hatter, hey surprise!
T-T-T-Ticking bomb on the inside
Livin' with the villain pacing in my mind."

Kat: Ladies and gentlemen, making her way down to the ring, …..from Providence, Rhode Island…….Valerie McKinley!!

The boos grow louder as Valerie hops up onto the apron and spins around so her back is resting on the ropes. With her head bowed, she lifts both arms up towards her head and has her pointer finger and thumb on both hands close to her head. She lifts her head up and extends her arms out, her fingers pointing out at the crowd like pistols. She then makes a motion like she was firing her finger guns at the crowd before turning around. She steps through the open ropes and into the ring.

"I'm blowing up the mystery
And all the pretty things you see
Light flame to fuse
And Sparks will fly
You said goodnight
Now say goodbye."

Once in the ring, she walks around with her arms extended outward, reveling in the heat from the crowd. She walks over to the corner and peels off her jacket, letting it drop to the apron as the lights return to normal and her music fades out. She rests her back against the turnbuckles and brushes a few stray strands of hair out of her face, awaiting the start of the action.

Zack: It has been a very good few weeks for the Gold Standard, hasn’t it Adam? Stacey Sky captured the Future Shock Championship in South Korea, Cait Flanagan became the new Diamond Champion earlier, and now Valerie could add a third piece of hardware.

Adam: You may not be a fan of them, but you can’t really argue the success rate the Gold Standard tends to have. They have their ebbs and flows, but seem to be back collecting gold again. Who’s she facing in what’s essentially round one?

“All Stand Up” by Status Quo starts to play as the young lady runs out onto stage with the championship belt around her waist, heading to one side she urges the crowd to their feet, clapping her hands above her head. Skipping across to the other side, she waves them to their feet as she once more claps her hands over head. Quickly moving back to the ramp, she sprints down to the ring, sliding underneath the bottom rope and getting to her feet quickly. Bouncing off the ropes she powerslides across the ring on her knees before hopping to her feet and continuing to rally the crowd by stomping on the mat and clapping as she heads for her corner, climbing to the middle turnbuckle and holding the title high above her head before getting ready for the match to start.

Kat: The young lady approaching the ring comes from Sheffield, England by way of New York City, New York. She is 5’7” tall, she weighs 144 lbs and she is the reigning and defending FFW No Surrender Champion….LILLY ARTHUR!!!

Zack: Oh, it’s gonna be the champion! And that means Cassandra Steen is gonna have the best entry of all tonight after this match is done!

Adam: I’m sure she won’t mind that at all. If I’m Valerie or Lilly, I want to end this as quickly as possible, if only because Cassandra is difficult enough when you haven’t had a match already.

Referee Malcolm Parks collects the No Surrender Championship from Lilly before holding above his head to signify it’s on the line. Kat then takes the titanium title with her as she leaves. The referee calls for the bell, and Valerie walks with purpose towards the center of the ring, telling Lilly that she was going to regret ignoring her about tonight’s match. Lilly was about to say she didn’t do that before the redhead slapped the taste out of her mouth, and started hammering forearms into the side of her head. Lilly tried to deflect some of the shots unsuccessfully before Valerie pulled her head down, and drove knees into her face and body repeatedly. With a handful of hair, she pulled her into the corner to slam her face against the top turnbuckle several times and then drag it across the top rope to blind her. Parks admonished her about using the ropes, but she ignored him entirely before scooping Lilly up for a fallaway slam.

Zack: If you got to hear Valerie’s comments heading into tonight, she took some exception to the fact she felt Lilly and Cassandra both had ignored her. It clearly put her in a bad mood too.

Adam; No kidding. Not having Kyle with her probably isn’t helping. Starla’s starting to ruffle some feathers in this division, and is probably gonna be hearing about it. I’ll welcome her to the club because I get it constantly in Future Shock.

The champion started to get back to her feet, but didn’t make it all the way before Valerie yanked her the rest of the way into a leg hook Saito suplex. The brunette crashed back to the mat again, and the challenger scooped her up into a belly to belly suplex after that. She followed up with clubbing blows to Lilly’s lower back as she tried to rise again. Finally, Arthur made it to her feet before Valerie whipped her into the far corner as hard as she could. Lilly’s back hit violently, causing her to stumble forward into another Irish whip that sent her into the next corner. Arthur crept forward off the impact until Valerie took her down with a lariat.

Zack: Valerie is relentless with this assault on Lilly’s back. She’s no doubt setting up for her chickenwing surfboard submission.

Adam: That’d be my guess, yeah. Plus you got Cassandra watching in the back taking mental notes at the same time on where to pick the bones on whoever wins.

McKinley stood over Lilly with a scowl on her face before applying a modified Boston crab with her knee pressed into Lilly’s back as she was being bent. Parks moved around next to the No Surrender Champion, checking to see if she wanted to stop the match. But Lilly wasn’t interested in that at all, while Valerie tried to pull back on the hold a little more as she contorted Lilly’s body into the shape of a C. The One Percenter looked over her shoulder at Lilly, telling her she could keep this on all night.

Adam: Valerie’s right about that, Zack. I don’t think this hold requires too much of the person holding it, but it definitely takes a toll on the one receiving it.

Zack: All you have to do is look at Lilly’s face if you need proof of that. The human body isn’t designed to bend that way. I imagine some chiropractors here in the City will be getting some new appointments for Monday.

Parks checked with her again, still getting a firm no from the champion. Lilly started to reach towards the ropes she noticed at her right. It caused her even more pain to do it though as Valerie still had her knee planted. But she made it, and the referee called for the break. Valerie gave it at 4 count, and started to pull Lilly away from the ropes towards the center of the ring. When she pulled her to the center and leaned down to grab her, Lilly pulled her head down further and started unloading with forearms to the side of her head. She rocked Valerie backwards a step, allowing the champion the chance to get back to her feet. When she did, Valerie came forward and caught a sidekick from Lilly under her arm. But the brunette countered that with an enzuigiri that took them both down to the mat.

Zack: Lilly got herself a reprieve finally after Valerie had put a big red X on her back. The One Percenter caught one foot, and then the other but not where she wanted.

Adam: No kidding. There’s a world of difference under your am to the back of your head. She’s gonna have a hell of a headache.

The New York City crowd started making noise again as Lilly struggled to her feet. She was having trouble standing up straight though, thanks to Valerie’s attack. When the redhead began to get up too, that’s when Lilly fired her chest first into the far corner. McKinley struck hard and stumbled backwards before Arthur hit the near side ropes to deliver a leaping leg lariat to her chest. It floored the challenger, and allowed Lilly to lean on the ropes for a moment to relieve a little pain in her back. With the fans getting louder, she caught Valerie getting up with a running kneelift to the face that sent her backwards again. Arthur bounced off the ropes behind her to deliver a bicycle kick that collapsed the One Percenter after that.

Zack: Lilly’s coming with nothing but high impact! I think she’s looking to knock Valerie out, or at least get her as close to it as possible before she applies whatever she’s thinking.

Adam: I’d say she’s well on her way to doing that too. She hasn’t used a hold yet, just throwing bombs with her hands and her feet. And it’s working, most importantly.

Lilly made it back to her feet, and began feeding off the crowd at this point. Valerie began to rise again, only for Lilly to pull her up the rest of the way. She caught her with a one-handed bulldog before getting back to her feet again. The One Percenter was pulled into position for a brainbuster that drove her into the mat before the No Surrender Champion applied an anaconda vise. This got the crowd on their feet anticipating a tap out as the referee slid into position to see if Valerie wanted to stop the match.

Zack: That’s a move that you don’t see Lilly using too much, but it doesn’t cause her much back pain to apply it. So that makes a big difference.

Adam: That hold is straight out of Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and it doesn’t take long to rob you of any oxygen you may have and choke off any more you might get.

Lilly applied the hold as tightly as she could, and Parks checked again and again if Valerie wanted to stop the match. The challenger gave no sign that she did, but did use her free arm to try to reach for anything she could grab. Her hand grabbed hold of the referee’s shirt at one point until he forcibly removed it. The arm flailed again, not find anything but thin air as Lilly kept the hold firmly applied.

Adam: This is when a manager comes in handy, Zack. Not to cheat, but to shout to their client about what’s nearby and how to reach it...if such a thing exists.

Zack: I bet Kyle’s wearing a tread into the floor of the Gold Standard locker room right about now, because there’s nothing he can do, per Starla’s directive.

Her arm movements began to slow though as the hold stayed in place. Parks continued to check to see if she wanted to stop, but McKinley was less quick to respond now. He started checking her free arm to let it drop before she managed to swing one of her legs across the bottom rope. The referee called for the break, and Lilly rolled away from her to get back to her feet. Lilly clutched her back in pain as she tried to stand up straight, and went towards Valerie as she was trying to revive herself. McKinley crawled out of the corner and Lilly circled behind her with her arms out, looking she was about to apply her submission. But as she got close when Valerie was getting up, the One Percenter drove her backwards into the corner as soon as she felt her arms wrap around her. It knocked the air out of Lilly, and caused her to grimace in pain.

Adam: You gotta hand it to Valerie, that’s outstanding training. She’s already worn down and not totally cognizant, but she knew Lilly’s favorite submission on touch alone.

Zack: There’s no question that Kilmeade doesn’t have his clients ready for about anything in a match, and that includes working out when well known holds are about to be used.

Valerie turned around, and rocked Lilly with a few more forearms before sitting her on the top turnbuckle. She tried to get her wits about her before climbing up with her, and then snapping off a superplex! Lilly shouted in pain as her body arched off the mat, causing her back to suffer all over again. Valerie rolled onto her knees, still not fully revived after the anaconda vise. She slapped her own face a couple times, and finally started to come around more fully.

Zack: Lilly must have had a death grip on that anaconda vise earlier, because we’re this far along after it and Valerie is just now beginning to get her bearings.

Adam: Lilly was trying to end this as soon as possible. They both know that their night isn’t over whenever this match ends.

McKinley finally seemed to have her bearings as she got back to her feet. The anger returned to her face as well as she saw Lilly still writhing on the mat. She bounced off the near side to deliver a punt into her back, further causing the champion added pain. Arthur tried to get away from her, but was pulled back to her feet by Valerie. The One Percenter fired her into the ropes, and brought her down again with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker.

Zack: I think Valerie’s about as close to full speed again as she’s going to get in this match, and the punishment to Lilly’s back continues.

Adam: She’s been setting the table for her favorite submission every chance she’s had in this match. I can’t imagine it’s far away.

Valerie dragged the champion back to the center of the ring, and reached down to grab her when Lilly immediately pulled her into a gogoplata. That surprised the crowd and the referee as McKinley was locked into the hold, and immediately began fighting wildly to get free of it. The redhead quickly reached out for the ropes, but she had pulled Lilly to the center. No ropes were in reach as Lilly’s face was a mask of pain, still feeling the effects of Valerie’s attack as the One Percenter’s movements started to fade.

Zack: Lilly pulled that one out of thin air, and no one saw it coming, least of all Valerie! Some call it a gogoplata, others a triangle choke!

Adam: No matter what you call it, it works extremely quickly! Valerie’s already been worn down with another choke earlier in the match, this capitalizes on that.

Valerie’s movements slowed more as the referee still checked for a tap out. Her free arm was limp on the mat practically, showing very few signs of life at all. The referee went to grab it, and it fell back to the canvas. The second time he lifted it though, Valerie balled up a fist and caught Lilly between the legs with a low blow. Parks called for the bell as Lilly rolled onto her side in a fetal position, overwhelmed with pain!

Zack: Valerie didn’t tap out, she broke the hold though...with a low blow! As angry as she was coming into this, I don’t think she’d have quit regardless.

Adam: You might be right. She sounded like she was angry about not getting enough attention from Lilly and Cassandra. Nothing was settled here though.

Kat: Valerie McKinley has been disqualified!

The redhead rolled towards the ropes, taking in deep breaths as she tried to revive herself again. Lilly was still in a ball practically when Valerie finally pulled herself together, and pulled out a chair from under the ring. She slid back inside, and shoved the referee into the corner before she wailed away with shots to Lilly’s back and body with the chair, eliciting deafening boos from the crowd. Six shots landed before Parks disarmed her, and Valerie asked Lilly if she had her attention yet. The One Percenter slid out of the ring, and headed towards the back as the New York City crowd showed her no love.

Adam: She isn’t a big fan of this city as it is, and it’s obviously mutual. Man, Lilly’s gotta be spent.

Zack: No question about it, that match didn’t resolve anything. But we’re not done yet. Because the title is about to be on the line again!

The opening bars of “You Call Me A Bitch Like It’s A Bad Thing” begin to play through the speakers around the arena and the lights on the stage go out leaving it darkness.

You took me to your little crib
Guess it must have been a big deal
Got me starring in your wet dream
Now it's time to get real
I'm not looking for love
No not today
But you call me up and had the nerve to say
See you next Tuesday

A white spotlight hits the centre of stage to see Cassandra Steen standing in the middle of it. The crowd instantly shows their disdain for her with a loud chorus of boos. Cassandra doesn’t seem phased at all by this and in fact seems to revel in it. A smirk curling on Cassandra’s lips as she surveys the crowd.

You call me a bitch like it's a bad thing
You call me a freak like that means something
Can't get your way so you're sulking
I think we know the rest
Get it off your chest
I don't give a shit
I love it when you call me a bitch like it's a bad thing

Cassandra begins her walk down the ramp to the ring slowly, surveying the crowd either side of her as she does. Still she doesn’t seem particularly bothered by the less than favourable yells from the crowd as she approaches the ring.

Kat: Making her way to the ring, from Leeds, England, she is ……………….CASSANDRA STEEN!

You show up everywhere I go
Get a grip you're acting so weird
I don't need your jager bombs
I think I can take it from here
You gotta learn to leave when the party ends
I don't really care what you tell your friends
Tell me again

As she reaches the ring, Cassandra climbs the steps and takes another moment to look around at the crowd before she steps through the ropes to enter the ring.

You call me a bitch like it's a bad thing
You call me a freak like that means something
Can't get your way so you're angry
I think we know the rest
Get it off your chest
I don't give a shit
I love it when you call me a bitch

Cassandra’s music comes to an end and as it fades out, she makes her way to her corner and leans back against the turnbuckles and rests one arm on the ropes beside her, as she looks across at Lilly with a smirk on her face..

Zack: Look at that cheshire smile on the face of the “Corporate Killer”. This is gonna be like shooting fish in a barrel for Cassandra, who I might add is fresh as a daisy!

Adam: You got that right. She got to see this whole thing play out backstage, and hasn’t had a hand on her. Lilly is in major trouble right now, and so is her title.

The referee reluctantly called for the bell to start the second match as Cassandra strolled out of the corner. She circled around Lilly, who was trying to get up. She leaned down to taunt her before Lilly pulled her into the same hold as before! The fans came to their feet prematurely though when Cassandra immediately made it to the ropes. Lilly broke the hold, and the former champion pummeled her with right hands to the head. Shot after shot landed before she dragged Lilly to her feet, scooping her into a front carry and dropping her back across her knee over and over again. Not letting her fall to the mat, she scooped her over one shoulder and drove her back into the corner before snapping off a powerslam to put her back on the mat.

Zack: This is like shooting fish in a barrel for Cassandra. Lilly hasn’t been on her feet since this part of the match began, and it’s not looking good that that will change.

Adam: Lilly got a bad draw honestly. No matter who the third entrant was going to be, they were going to have an advantage most likely.

Steen used a double stomp to Lilly’s lower back when she was trying to get up, and it sent her back to the canvas again. The former No Surrender Champion looked very confident as she took off for the far side. Steen landed a baseball slide that sent Lilly out to the floor in a heap. The former champion rolled out after her, and pulled her to her feet long enough to use a shoulder thrust to send her back into the barricade. The champion shouted in pain before Cassandra turned her around, and repeated the same move into the apron this time. Arthur crumpled to her knees on the floor before Cassandra pulled her back to her feet. She measured and went to fire her into the steps next, but Lillly reversed it instead! Cassandra stopped herself before she ran into the steps, but Lilly surprised her with a running bulldog that spiked her face off the top of them.

Zack: Cassandra’s using all the real estate around the ring to do more damage, and now she’s gonna---GET HER HEAD BOUNCED OFF THE STEPS!!

Adam: That was crucial for Lilly. I don’t know how she’s gonna do it, but she has to build on that. I know it’s not her style, but it might be worth it just hoping to win by countout.

The Garden crowd started getting behind Lilly as she struggled to her feet. She bounced Cassandra’s head off the top step three times before barely lifting her up to let her faceplant across the edge of the apron. It dropped Steen to her knees as Lilly summoned what strength she had to throw her back into the ring. The No Surrender Champion followed in after her as Cassandra was trying to get to her feet. Arthur moved around behind her, and dropped her with a full nelson facebuster to the mat.

Adam: I’m amazed that Lilly’s still finding something within her to stay in this match. She’s been battered mercilessly to this point.

Zack: Lilly has an overwhelming desire to leave the Garden with her No Surrender Championship intact. What determination!

Cassandra was much slower moving as she tried to stand up again, and Lilly wasn’t even able to stand up straight at all. She pulled her adversary into position to deliver a double underhook DDT on the challenger. The fans in the arena were starting to get louder now as Lilly struggled back to her feet. She circled around behind Cassandra, who was slowly starting to get up again.

Zack: Here she goes again! She’s looking for the WATER LILLY! Valerie had this scouted earlier, but let’s see if Cassandra can say the same.

Adam: If she doesn’t, Lilly may be about to pull off the most miraculous title defense of her career in wrestling.

Cassandra was extremely slow to get up, and had one hand pressed to her head as she did so. When she was vertical enough, Lilly swooped in and tried to apply her submission finisher. But Cassandra broke her grip, and clocked her with a discus elbow to the jaw. It stumbled the Sheffield beauty backwards, allowing Cassandra to duck behind her and elevate her for an electric chair drop. Lilly’s body curled upwards in pain before Steen immediately applied a scorpion crosslock in the center of the ring.

Zack: I’ve never seen Cassandra use this, but certainly her sister has! I can’t begin to imagine how excruciating the pain must be right now!

Adam: That’s a devastating submission, to say the least. And the worst part for Lilly is her ring positioning. Cassandra couldn’t have her in a better place right now.

Parks checked with Lilly about stopping the match, but she weakly shook her head at the question. Cassandra showed no signs of releasing the hold though as Lilly struggled to try to get free. Nothing was working though, and the look on Lilly’s face looked as though she were being tortured. Cassandra’s teeth gritted  as she told her to quit, while Lilly continued to struggle in vain. Parks checked again as Lilly let out another shout of pain before she tapped her hip. The referee called for the bell, though Cassandra left the hold applied a few seconds longer before letting Lilly collapse to the mat.

Zack: Lilly didn’t have a choice in the matter, she was stuck! And there’s no point in risking permanent injury!

Adam: I think Cassandra got more of a fight than she was expecting out of Lilly, and I don’t honestly think it’s finished between them. I want to see these two meet when they are both fresh, that’ll be when this whole issue is resolved, in my book.

Kat: Your winner of the match….and for the second time…..NEEEWWW FFW No Surrender Champion………….CASSANDRA STEEN!!

Dante rushed towards the ring in exuberant fashion before snatching the title away from the timekeeper, and joining his client in the ring. He raised Cassandra’s hands to boos from the Garden crowd before presenting her with the titanium title.

Zack: Well the match is over, so that means Dante isn’t barred anymore. Cassandra Steen is a two time No Surrender Champion, and this division is one of the most heated in all of FFW.

Adam: Congratulations to her. She did it fair and square without Dante’s help. I’d have just preferred them both to be 100% when the bell rang personally. But she’ll have ...wow...a lot of women looking over her shoulder: Emma, Bianca, Valerie, Lilly definitely.

Cassandra fixed her manager with a smile before climbing the corner to raise her regained championship to show the unhappy fans all throughout Madison Square Garden.

Zack: She left it behind at Unstoppable 11, and took it back tonight at Crossed Out! Cassandra Steen is ending the year as strongly as you could ask for!

A pair of trainers, including her husband, came to the ring to assist Lilly and help her to the back. The brunette looked over her shoulder as they walked her to the back, showing daggers for Cassandra before the show cut to a commercial for Relentless on March 6th.

Luna's Nova Eclipse

A clip from Future Shock’s South Korea Spectacular on FFW All Access airs where we see the closing moments of the Nova Championship match between Mikayla Stone and Luna Cortez.

Courtesy of Future Shock South Korea Spectacular - November 17, 2020

Claire: Mikayla has Luna in her sights and she’s putting it all on the line here!!! It’s all of nothing. She’ll either go home with all the glory or crash and burn!

With Luna now on her feet, Mikayla launched herself off the top turnbuckle, looking for a stunner on the way down. Christian shouted at Luna to duck, which she did and Mikayla landed on her ass on the canvas instead. The pain shot up her body before Luna scooped her up from behind into her double chickenwing facebuster that planted the champion onto the mat! She rolled her over, and hooked both legs as she went for the cover!

Zack: LUNA ECLIPSE!!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

Wilson called for the bell, much to the ire of the South Korean crowd. Luna sat up, her mouth agape as she tried to get her breath. But when she heard her music play, the open mouth turned into a smile!

Claire: Stone had it scouted the first time around but there was nothing she could do the second time. Luna Cortez has done what few before her could and she’s made history in the process!!

Lexi: Your winner by pinfall….and for the second time….NEEEWWW Future Shock Nova Champion…………..LUNA CORTEZ!!!

The referee raised her hand as she made it to her feet, and was soon joined by Christian who presented her with the Nova Championship. Luna let out a scream and clutched it to her body like a newborn baby. The Global Wars scoreboard ticked up 2 points for the USA as well.

~ ~ ~

As the clip concluded, we go back to the live show and find the new Nova Champion along with her manager somewhere in the back.

Christian: That right there is how you bookend a year. Luna came into 2020 as the Nova Champion. She will end the year as the Nova Champion. Plus she represented America in the process! I couldn’t be prouder.

Luna: And we can officially celebrate the grand anniversary of my reign as Nova Champion! After all, the writing on the wall was true: I was never supposed to ever be CONSIDERED not-the-champion. This has been mine since the end of last year, and the match at South Korea was just a testament to that.

Upon saying that, Luna literally hugs the championship belt, like a newborn’s mother and her baby.

Christian: Now the title no one ever pinned or submitted Luna to own is back where it belonged all along. I appreciate how about half the women Luna faces act like she doesn’t belong in the ring with them. Yet here she is back on top of the Nova Championship division, ….and after winning Global Wars, you could see the Future Shock Championship in these hands next.

Luna: But that’s gotten real old real fast, hasn’t it? The whole “she doesn’t belong here” argument. I mean, for all people like to call others the poor men’s Regina George and their “you-can’t-sit-with-us” complex, some folks in this backstage are really adept of this MO. But as evidence by the championship I hold, and the position I’m in in Global Wars, I guess this is exactly where I ought to be: on top of my game, reigning undisputed above all others, and being the shiningest beacon of greatness that being Miss Future Shock America confers me. God, it’s good to be me!

Christian: That brings us to the first Future Shock of the new year when Arabella comes calling for a title shot in the main event. And that’s fine and dandy. But you know, she seems to be having some issues with the Dollhouse all of a sudden. I think those two are enough to focus on for anyone, but hey if she thinks she can handle them AND Luna...well I want to see that.

It’s at that point that Luna pauses to think about something.

Luna: The Dollhouse, huh. I’m not familiar with them. But I did hear one of ‘em was a former Ultraviolence Champion or something.

And then she shrugs.

Luna: Screw it, they’re not MY problem. The thing is, I’m sure Arabella will come a-gunning for my belt, bringing up old meetings we’ve had before and repeating the same old and tired BS about me and my behavior. Let me remind everyone about one thing: for well over a year, I haven’t been pinned or made to submit while this belt was on the line and, spoiler alert…

Luna leans into the camera and smirks.

Luna: After the first show of 2021, this, too, will hold.

Christian nods in agreement as he shines the title with his sleeve in Luna’s arms before we head back to the ring for the next match.

Kat: The following match is a triple threat elimination match and the winner will be the number one contender to the FFW Championship!!!

Zack: It’s the last FFW match of 2020, and it’s only fitting we are about to find out who will next challenge Missy for the FFW Championship at Relentless.

Dante: I think the hashtag #AnyoneButValerie fits here honestly. At least that’s how I feel about it.

The arena darkens, and a familiar purple light bathes the arena with flashes of green and black for effect. The colours alone bring a cheer from the crowd, even though the music is yet to hit. It’s then that the opening keyboard strokes of “Beyond the Burning Skies” play over the speakers. Giving way to much heavier riffs, the song kicks in fully and from the back steps Vincent Belmont.

Power. Power and glory,
Things my empty soul has craved since dawn.
Fury, eternal, painful longing.
It grows inside me like a raging storm.

Burning ablaze in my heart
My will, my wish to see it all!

Turning to face the curtain again, he waits expectantly for someone. That someone comes a moment later; Valerie McFarlane. Valerie grins widely, dancing around on the stage to the music, making sure she covers both far ends of it before returning to the centre, where she grins up at her friend and manager.

[/i]Close your eyes and reach beyond the heavens,
Touch the moonlit sky,
An awe-inspiring view of the world!
Feel the beast, go on and grasp your future
On your way beyond...beyond the burning skies![/i]

Valerie then takes off down the ramp, purple and green pyro exploding with every step she takes on her way down. Once at the bottom, she keeps going and throws herself into the ring, under the bottom rope. Rolling to her feet, she spins around three times, stopping herself by putting one leg out, digging it into the mat. Her hand then shoots upwards in a fist and she throws her head back, to a loud roar from the crowd. She then takes to the turnbuckle, putting her hands on the top rope and leaping to the middle one, where she throws both hands out to the crowd.

Kat: On her way to the ring, from Edinburgh, Scotland! Weighing 150 pounds, please welcome VALERIEEEEEEE MCFARLAAAAAAAAAAAAAANE!

On Kat finishing her introduction, Valerie hops back down and heads to her corner, where she meets Vincent. Removing her leather jacket, she hands it to a ringside attendant and discusses something with Vincent while awaiting what comes next.

Zack: Of all three women in this match, only Valerie McFarlane knows what it takes to be the FFW Champion because she’s been there! No doubt she’d be happy to be there again.

Dante: Just because she picked up a big FLUKE over Savannah a while back, and you’re ready to see her take on Shortstack at Relentless.

There was silence; the lights began to fade away slowly. A soft instrumental echoes out across the audience. It starts slowly, a beautiful sound that contrasts the heaviness of the world. Like feathers, it glides among the waiting audience. The lighting fixtures produce a gentle spotlight upon the stage, offset by the occasional flash here and there. As 'Just Close Your Eyes' by Waterproof Blonde continues to play, a woman’s words begin to come through. Her voice is tender, not raising upon a whisper.

"Deceived by my eyes and all I was told I should see
Opinions not mine, the person they taught me to be
One night in the dark, a vision of someone I knew
And in the darkness I saw, a voice say, I'm you."

On the stage, a feminine figure appears. Her head lowered to everything. People cannot make out who it is. As she stands there, the flashes briefly illuminate her figure. It only gives small clues on who stands at the gate. She stands in the spotlight, her shadow cast large and proudly among the stage.

"Inside me a light was turned on…"

The instrumental picks up again. An electric guitar now joins the progressively exciting instrumentals of before. The singer’s voice suddenly intensifies.

"Then I was alive!"

In the light, it is revealed that it was Savannah Taylor. She stands at the gate, a robe of obsidian and ivory hues. The hood of it shadows her eyes, but the intensity of the final EXODUS World Champion remains clear as day. She starts off down the ramp, with a serious aura radiating from her body.

Kat: Ladies and gentlemen, making her way down to the ring....weighing in at one hundred twenty pounds.....from Las Vegas, Nevada.....Savannah Star !!!

"If you close your eyes your life,
A naked truth revealed
Dreams you never lived,
And scars never healed"

Savannah makes her way up the ring steps. She looks out towards the audience for a moment before entering the ring. From there, she heads for a turnbuckle. She stands there, taking in everything. She then lifts her up on top of it. She peers out in nothing, then takes off the hood with a flashy flourish. Her blonde locks fly up in the air. They descend, shaping her face as they famously do.

"In the darkness, light will take you to the other side
You'll find me waiting there you'll see, if you just close your eyes."

While she stands in her corner, she closes her eyes and takes a heavy breath. When her bright eyes open, Taylor is completely composed. There is nothing more than the heat of battle awaiting her. She takes off her robe, giving it to a stagehand. She stretches her wrists before devoting her mind to the war upon the horizon.

Dante: Now here’s a woman who has champion written all over her! Savannah is someone who would bring the killer instinct and cutthroat attitude to the FFW Championship that it needs.

Zack: No question Savannah has been very clear in recent months about getting where she wants to be: on top of the mountain as FFW Champion. She can take a big step forward right here to getting that.

The intro of "I Want It All/We Will Rock You (Mash-up)" by Queen featuring Armageddon blares into the arena, the lights of the stage and the ramp illuminate in gold while the spotlight focuses on the stage.

As the song officially begins, Valentina comes out and steps onto the stage, standing in a dominant pose, hands on her hips and glancing at the crowd in a look of detest, but nonetheless, ready to take care of business.

Kat: Making her way to the ring, representing The Privileged Circle, hailing from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, weighing one hundred and thirty-five pounds. She is “The Latin Goddess”…

VALENTINA LOZANO!!!!!!

Valentina then confidently strides her way to the ring, with the spotlight completely focused on her and the arena erupts with a thunderous array of boos from the capacity crowd showering down on her, Valentina is soaking up the reaction, even though she ignores it. Meanwhile, while she is walking down, Valentina's entrance video is shown on the big screen, profiling her likeness and footage of her in action.

As Valentina reaches the ringside area, she walks up and walks across the edge of the ring. She looks around the arena, not directly seeing the crowd through the darkness, but knowing that they are out there as she sees the consistent flashing lights of the cameras and the still boisterous reaction from the crowd.

After wiping her feet on the apron and entering the ring, Valentina strides towards two opposite ring posts in where she climbs up and extends her arms out, looking on with a smirk and posing to the crowd with complete confidence. She is taking in the atmosphere while the crowd reaction continues and the cameras flashing.

After going through her ritual, Valentina climbs down and makes her way towards the corner to take off her coat and then readies herself as she waits for her opponent to arrive or for the match to begin.

Dante: And then we have this woman, who was boned out of being the FFW Champion at Sin & Sacrifice when the referee gave Missy a pity win because she couldn’t make her quit or pin her.

Zack: No, she made her pass out though. That’s enough for most anyone. Besides that, it wasn’t the first time they’ve ever met and she has had wins over her before.

Kevin Fisk didn’t even get to ring the bell before Savannah charged forwards and caught Valentina with a flying forearm smash to her face, sending her back into the corner where she immediately started to fire off right and left hands into her foe’s midsection. The bell sounded as Valerie stood in her corner and watched while Valentina managed to grab hold of Star by the head and spin her around to swap places with her and began to launch raised knees into her midriff. Five knees found their target before Lozano stepped away, taking hold of the top rope as she raised her boot and placed it against Savannah’s throat, choking her out as the Las Vegas native tried to push the foot away from her. After a couple of seconds, the Latin Goddess lowered her boot to the mat, letting the blonde catch her breath for a moment before she used her hair to send her across the ring with a beal.

Zack: Some of our fans will no doubt remember that Savannah came into FFW when she ran afoul of Valentina after being a referee for a tag match at the time.

Dante: I remember watching that. God, your memory is ridiculous. Do you remember what you had for breakfast on this day in 1998 too?

Savannah hit the mat and immediately started to rise to her feet only for Valentina to run her down with a clothesline as she was vertical, sending her back down to the mat. Star started to rise once more and as she did so, the Canadian wrapped her arms around her body for a rear waistlock that she used to hurl her backwards with a German suplex. The Las Vegas born wrestler hit the middle turnbuckle with the back of her head and landed in a sitting position. Lozano came to her feet as Savannah reached up for the top rope and was about to pull herself upright only to get cut off with a thrust kick into her stomach. Star dropped to a sitting position and Valentina immediately began to deliver a mudhole stomp to the blonde.

Zack: They are picking up where those old animosities left off years ago, aren’t they? Lozano is easily the strongest woman in this match.

Dante: Well duh! But strength is somewhat negated when you have to deal with two opponents simultaneously like this, I think.

As Valentina continued to drive home her boot into the stomach of the former No Surrender Champion, McFarlane charged out of her corner and caught the reigning Unity Champion with a high knee to her spine, sending her chest first into the corner before she spun her around and Irish whipped her across the ring into the opposite turnbuckles, taking off behind her and catching her with a corner clothesline. Immediately the Socttish wrestler spun and as Savannah pulled herself up to her feet using the top rope, McFarlane caught her with a corner clothesline before she spun and once more took off across the ring, catching Valentina as she tried to step out of the corner with a two footed drop kick to her chest. McFarlane quickly rolled backwards to come to her feet and again charged towards Valentina, stepping up onto the middle rope and catching her with a high knee to her jaw before she hooked her head and pulled her out of the corner and into a running bulldog that drove her face first into the mat.

Zack: I don’t think a match like this benefits any of the women in it, which is unusual to say considering what kind of veterans we have here.

Dante: Well elimination matches aren’t a normal thing in this sport, so it’s hard for anyone to say they know them like a book.

As McFarlane came back to her feet, Savannah came roaring out of the corner to catch her with a big boot to her face that sent her stumbling backwards a step before Star caught her, lifting her upwards and into an inverted atomic drop. Again McFarlane stepped backwards gingerly only for Star to take her down to the canvas with a discus clothesline.  As soon as the former No Surrender Champion landed the move, she took off across the ring and bounced off the ropes to deliver a running knee strike to Lozano’s jaw as she made it to one knee. As Valentina came to her feet, Star hopped up onto the middle rope and launched herself backwards into a disaster kick to Lozano, knocking her down to the mat. Star immediately whirled around, spotting McFarlane getting to her feet and bell clapped her arms against the Scot’s ears from behind before she followed it up with a snapdragon suplex.

Zack: We heard from the FFW Champion earlier tonight, and she certainly seemed more interested in facing either Savannah or Valerie at Relentless.

Dante: That’s because she knows Valentina has her number. She doesn’t ever want to get back into the ring with her again.

Once more Savannah came back quickly to her feet and skipped towards the rising Valentina, driving a knife edge chop into the Canadian’s chest. She followed it up with three more stinging chops before she took a step backwards and fired off a roundhouse kick to the side of Lozano’s head, dropping her down to one knee. Valentina began to push up to her feet where she received a pair of European uppercuts in quick succession from Star before Savannah drove a boot into her midriff, took hold of Lozano by her hair and the back of her tights as she spun her around, building up a head of steam to toss her out of the ring over the top rope. Star didn’t get a chance to turn around before McFarlane caught her from behind and sent her down to the mat with a German suplex.

Zack: Let’s not forget that Valerie and Valentina have already tangled this year, and that was at Unstoppable 11 in one of the Winner’s Circle matches.

Dante: You mean the match where Valentina won and picked the briefcase with a FFW Championship match in it!

The Scot kept her arms wrapped around the American’s waist, pulling her back up to her feet and drove her down into the mat with two more German suplexes before she released her grip. McFarlane came back to her feet and saw Valentina was beginning to pull herself back up onto the apron only to step quickly towards her and kick her stomach. As Lozano bent over on the apron, Valerie used the top rope to slingshot herself over the Unity Champion and into a sunset flip powerbomb that she used to slam the Latin Goddess down into the floor on the outside. McFarlane turned around and slid back into the ring where she popped up to her feet as Savannah was starting to rise to her feet and closed to the gap to her, catching her with an elbow strike to the side of her head, following it up with a second before she pulled her head downwards into a front facelock. As she trapped the head of the Las Vegas native, Valerie brought her knee upwards into her chest four times before snapping off a DDT.

Zack: All of these women have varying degrees of history with each other, and I don’t think any of them like one another too much at all.

Dante: Who cares if they do like each other or not? There’s no friends in the ring when a shot at the FFW Championship is on the line. You’d punt your grandma in the babymaker for that.

Savannah once more started to push upwards from the mat only for Valerie to pull her upright, delivering a head butt across the bridge of her nose before she lifted her up off her feet, holding her vertically for the better part of thirty seconds before she completed the stalling suplex. Valerie quickly came back to her feet and dropped a leg across Savannah’s chest before she pulled her upwards and straight into a sit out facebuster. McFarlane rolled to the side and saw Valentina getting to her feet on the outside and darted towards her to catch her with a baseball slide to her chest. It sent Lozano staggering backwards and McFarlane immediately leapt onto her shoulders and took her down to the floor yet again with a headscissors takedown.

Zack: You just know Valerie has an axe to grind after her match with Valentina at Unstoppable 11.

Dante: I don’t know why. She got beat straight up in the center of the ring.

McFarlane looked down at the Unity Champion before she rolled back in underneath the bottom rope and pushed up to one knee, waving the rising Star up to her feet before she exploded towards her and took her down to the mat with a spear. Valerie quickly floated over and made the cover.

Dante: This isn’t going to work, but I give her a 2.5 out of 10 for effort.

One…

Two…

Zack: Way too much left inside Savannah for that. And those scores you like to give won’t be missed in the new year.

Savannah kicked out of the pinfall and Valerie pulled her up to her feet as she acknowledged the two count from the referee and rocked Stars head backwards with a European uppercut. A second European uppercut followed that one before McFarlane scooped her up onto her shoulder and headed towards the corner. As Valerie went for the snake eyes, Savannah kicked her feet and wiggled her body, finally slipping out of her foe’s grasp to land on her feet behind her before Star shoved the Scottish wrestler into the turnbuckles chest first. McFarlane stepped backwards holding her chest and the Las Vegas native lifted her up and drilled her down into the canvas with a back suplex. Valerie rolled to the side and started to push up to her feet as Star used the ring ropes to pull herself upwards where she hopped onto the middle ropes and launched herself into a back elbow that caught McFarlane flush in the face. Valerie stumbled backwards and Savannah took her down to the mat with a jaw breaker.

Dante: Valerie should just be thrilled anyone thought of her for this match. She lucked out against Savannah a few weeks back, and that’s the only reason she’s involved at all.

Zack: If winning a match against someone doesn’t merit something as a result, I’m not sure why anyone should bother winning. That’s a fairly asinine point there.

McFarlane rolled to the side and started to come back to her feet only for the Las Vegas native to pull her to a vertical base and Irish whip her across the ring into the corner. As the Scottish wrestler hit the pads, Star followed in behind her and delivered a knee to her midriff before she followed it up with a series of side kicks to her body before she brought her out of the corner with a snapmare. As McFarlane landed in a sitting position, Star delivered a rolling neckbreaker to her before she took off across the ring, bouncing off the ropes and Valerie sat up just in time to catch a sliding forearm to her jaw from the blonde. Savannah didn’t waste any time as she came back to her feet and dropped an elbow into Valerie’s chest before she hooked the leg and made the cover.

Dante: Savannah’s looking to get rid of the dead weight in this match righ tnow.

One…

Two…

Zack: Easier said than done, and it’s not something Savannah has proven she can do in recent weeks either.

McFarlane kicked out and Savannah looked towards the official with a glare as the two count was shown. Star pulled her opponent up to her feet and as soon as she had vertical, the Las Vegas native caught her opponent with a throat thrust before lifting Valerie off her feet and dropping her throat first over the top rope. The Edinburgh native staggered backwards, coughing as she tried to catch her breath and as she turned towards the blonde, the former No Surrender Champion yanked her forwards by the wrist and into a high knee to the gut before she threw her shoulder first through the ring ropes into the steel post. McFarlane stepped backwards, holding her shoulder for a moment and Savannah scooped her up off her feet into a shoulder breaker. Valerie held her arm as she landed on the mat, with a look of pain on her face. Star, though, showed her no mercy as she pulled her upwards, wrenching her arm around in the shoulder socket with an arm wringer. She rotated it in the socket once more before suddenly yanking her downwards and into a double knee armbreaker.

Zack: So what are you going to miss most about having a full time commentary job with FFW?

Dante: NOTHING! I’m telling you that my contract will be renewed! Why are you trying to upset me? I’m always so respectful of you, after all!

Valerie dropped down onto knees, slumped forward with her forehead pressed to the canvas as she held her shoulder with her other hand. A second later, Savannah took up her back, trapping one arm between her legs as she gripped the other to lock in the Rings of Saturn scissored armbar. Fisk dropped down in front of the Scotswoman and asked her if she wanted to quit, getting a ‘No’ and a shake of the head from McFarlane. Savannah shook her head, telling Valerie to quit as she continued to pull back on her opponent’s arm with one hand while she used the other to drive elbow strikes into the Edinburgh wrestler’s shoulder before reaffirming her grip on the arm of the red head, pulling back on it further, torquing more and more on the limb. It prompted the referee to ask McFarlane if she wanted to quit again, getting another ‘No’ from her.

Zack: Valerie isn’t known for stopping matches. She knows chances like this don’t come around very often.

Dante: You can say that again! FFW Championship matches don’t grow on trees.

Again Savannah drove elbow strikes into her opponent’s shoulder before she again pulled back on her limb, applying as much pressure as possible, telling Valerie to quit. Again the Edinburgh born wrestler shook her head, refusing as a look of agony was on her face. The referee asked again, getting another shake of the head as the hold was suddenly broken when Lozano slid into the ring and caught Star with a double axe handle blow to the back of her head. Star fell forwards to the mat and Valentina drove a kick into her ribs before she pulled the Las Vegas native up to her feet and whipped her across the ring into the corner. As soon as Star hit the turnbuckles, Valerie rolled to the apron, holding her shoulder while Valentina charged in behind Savannah and caught her with a big boot to her face. The Toronto born wrestler took a step backwards before she caught the blonde with a heart punch, followed up by an enzuigiri.

Zack: Valentina has been laser focused on a rematch for the title ever since Sin & Sacrifice. She really feels she has Missy’s number.

Dante: I haven’t seen evidence to the contrary. A bad call is the only reason she isn’t the champion right now!

Star staggered forwards out of the corner and as she did so, Lozano hooked her head and deliver a regular suplex, following it up with a stalling suplex and then finished off the combination with a slingshot suplex. As Savannah hit the mat she sat up and immediately rolled over onto all fours only for Valentina to measure her up before she skipped forwards and delivered a punt kick to the side of her foe’s head. Savannah fell to the mat where she rolled over onto her back which saw the Toronto native drop down on top of her, taking up the mount position and started to lay in stiff forearm shots to her opponent’s jaw. The Las Vegas native tried to cover up and as she did so, the Unity Champion pulled her up to her feet, hoisting her up into position for a Gorilla press slam, bench pressing her twice before she dropped her stomach first over the top rope.

Zack: You keep mentioning bad calls in Missy’s last title defense. If a competitor can’t respond to the referee, he has to stop the match for their own safety.

Dante: And you’re telling me the referee can hear what one woman is saying in a building full of thousands of idiots making noise? Please!

Star hung over the top rope for a moment before she landed on her feet and stepped backwards which allowed Valentina to lift her up once more, holding her around the waist before she dropped her throat first over the top rope. Lozano stepped backwards, holding Star’s legs and when she reached her ankles she fired off a kick into her lower midsection before she bounced Star off the top rope once more, stepping backwards as she did so and slamming her down into the canvas face first with a wheelbarrow facebuster. Savannah held her jaw as she started to push up to her knees, Lozano bringing her up to her feet where she once more started to unload on her with knife edge chops to her chest, forcing her backwards against the ropes. The Unity Champion pinned the blonde against the ropes as she fired off a series of five knees into her gut then Irish whipped her across the ring, catching her on the return with a spinning spinebuster before she rolled over and hooked the leg for the cover.

Zack: Lozano may be about to send Savannah to the locker room in three seconds!

One..

Two…

...T-

Dante: I think they should both focus on Valerie, and get rid of her immediately. Maybe they can give her a participation award.

Savannah kicked out and Lozano glared at the official before she pulled the former No Surrender Champion upwards into a reverse DDT that spiked the back of her head into the mat. Lozano didn’t give her any chance to recover before she pulled her upwards once more and lifted her into the air where she dropped her with a brainbuster. Again, Valentina yanked her foe up from the mat and this time lifted her onto her shoulders. Lozano adjusted Savannah’s position on her shoulders before she set off across the ring and slammed her into the mat with a rolling Samoan drop, using her momentum to come to her feet and hit the ropes as she bounced off them and into a knee drop to Star’s chest. Once more Lozano made the cover and hooked the leg as she did so.

Dante: Ladies, focus on Valerie! Not each other!

One…

Two…

...TH-

Zack: No dice for Savannah yet! And one elimination is just as valuable as another, if you didn’t know.

Star kicked out once more and as she did so, Lozano looked to the referee, asking for the three count. When she was only shown the two, Valentina wrapped her hands around the throat of the Las Vegas native. As the Canadian choked her out, she started to yank her head up from the canvas and drive the back of her skull back down like she was bouncing a ball. As she drove her head into the mat for the fifth time, Lozano released her grip around her opponent’s throat and pulled her to her feet where she walked her back into the ropes before shooting her off across the ring. As Star returned, Lozano left her feet and drove her boot into the face of the former No Surrender Champion with the Priceless Kiss bicycle kick to her face.

Dante: One of my favorite moves right there, Hudson! It’s the PRICELESS KISS!!

Zack: Savannah nearly got her molars ent into orbit off that impact!

As soon as the Unity Champion landed on her feet, she suddenly fell forwards to the mat thanks to a chop block from McFarlane. As Lozano pushed up to her knees, Valerie started to fire off shook kicks into the body of the Toronto native before she jerked her upwards and spiked her down on the top of her skull with a double underhook DDT. Lozano rolled onto her back as McFarlane came to her feet and used the ring ropes to deliver a lionsault to the Unity Champion. Quickly the Edinburgh native made the cover, hooking the leg as she did so.

Dante: Don’t let Valerie get an elimination! She doesn’t even belong in this match!

One…

Two…

...THR-

Zack: You got your wish. She hasn’t gotten an elimination….yet.

Lozano kicked out of the cover and McFarlane pulled her upright once again and into a single knee facebreaker before she ducked down, lifting the Canadian onto her shoulders and snapped her forwards, driving her spine first into the canvas with an Alabama slam. McFarlane headed towards the nearest corner, holding her shoulder before she stepped out onto the apron and climbed to the top rope before she launched herself into a 630 splash. As McFarlane landed the move she made the cover once more, hooking the leg tightly as she did so.

Zack: Wow! Where did that come from?!

One…

Two…

....THRE--

Dante: Out of her ass, that’s where! She’s desperate to prove she belongs in this match...much less the division.

Valentina rolled the shoulder to break up the count and McFarlane looked towards the official, asking for the three count only to get a shake of the head as Fisk showed her the two count. The Scot pushed up to her feet and looked over towards Savannah watching as the American began to get her feet beneath her and skipped towards her, driving a superkick that saw Star fall through the ropes to land on the apron. Quickly the Edinburgh native turned her attention back towards Valentina, seeing the Latin Goddess pushing up to her hands and knees. As she did so, McFarlane advanced upon her, wrapping her arms around her waist and lifting her upwards into the Final Curtain gutwrench powerbomb. Valentina hit the mat and bounced on impact rolling as she did so onto her front as Valerie dropped to her knees, holding her shoulder for a moment.

Zack: Valerie landed the FINAL CURTAIN, but at what cost?

Dante: She’s not getting a cover fast enough, and it’s a wasted effort then.

McFarlane shook out her arm with a grimace before she reached for Valentina and rolled her onto her back then made the cover, hooking the leg as she did so.

One…

Two…

...THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!NNNNNNOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Zack: You called that one! Valerie took a little too long to follow up, and Valentina came out the backdoor.

At the last possible moment, Valentina rolled her shoulder to stop the referee’s count and Fisk showed the two count. McFarlane stared at him aghast as she came to her knees, holding her shoulder and asked him for the three count. Fisk shook his head and told her that it was only a two and that the shoulder came up in the nick of time. McFarlane shook her head but didn’t argue and as she pushed up to one knee, Savannah suddenly surprised her from behind, wrapping her arms around her head and neck to lock in the Heartless Angel Kirifuda Clutch. As she locked it in tightly, Savannah fell back to the mat, pulling Valerie back with her and wrapped her legs around her, locking her ankles for a tight body scissors.

Dante: There we go, the HEARTLESS ANGEL!!  Choke her out and send her the hell out of here, Savannah!

Zack: I’m positive that’s exactly what the “Las Vegas Siren” has in mind!

Fisk asked McFarlane if she wanted to quit, the Scot refusing as she pulled at clawed at the arms of the submissions, trying to pull them away from her. Star tightened up her grip even further as Valerie became even more desperate in her movements, trying her hardest to find an escape from the hold. The referee asked again, getting another refusal from the Scottish wrestler even as her movements began to slow to a halt. As Valerie went limp, Lozano had rolled to the ring ropes, pulling herself up to one knee and watched as Fisk raised Valerie’s hand in the air and let it drop. He repeated it twice more before he called for the break and signalled to the timekeepers. Star kept the hold locked in though.

Kat: Ladies and Gentleman, Valerie McFarlane has been eliminated!!

Dante: Good riddance! Now we have the dead weight done, so go get Big Red to come put her wife in a wheelbarrow and roll her out of here.

Zack: Valerie had no choice there. She didn’t want to give in, but her body didn’t agree. Savannah scores the first elimination, and then there was two!

Finally Savannah released the hold only to pull Valerie up to her feet and dump her unceremoniously through the ring ropes to the floor on the outside. Star then turned and locked eyes with Valentina, waving her forwards. Lozano didn’t need any more invitation as she started towards Star only for the pair to meet in the middle of the ring and immediately started to exchange clubbing right hands before Savannah got the upperhand with a thumb jabbed into Valentina’s eye. As Lozano stepped backwards, Star started to deliver a series of Muay Thai style kicks to the Canadian’s body before she took her down to the canvas with a drop toe hold. Valentina immediately sought to push up onto all fours and as she did so, Savannah leapt into the air to deliver a double foot stomp to the back of her opponent’s head, driving her down into the mat. Star landed on her feet and with a sneer on her face she headed towards the corner, quickly climbing up onto the top rope and when Valentina came to a vertical base, the Las Vegas native stood her on her head with a reverse hurricanrana.

Zack: You don’t see Valentina breaking out the aerial moves too often, but damn if that wasn’t devastating!

Dante: Normally she doesn’t have to use them. Her raw power is enough, but they are both worn down at this point, so it’s ‘go for broke’ time.

Star didn’t bother to make the cover as she rolled away to the ropes and pulled herself up to her feet once more, waving Valentina upwards before she charged across the ring and delivered a running knee strike to her foe’s jaw. Lozano came up to her feet and Savannah took her back down to the mat with the Emerald Weapon corkscrew neckbreaker. This time Star made the cover, hooking the leg as she did so.

Dante: The EMERALD WEAPON, and Missy’s gonna lose to Savannah at Relentless!

...THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!NNNNNNNNOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Zack: She has to win the match first! Valentina’s still in the hunt here.

Lozano popped her shoulder up from the canvas before the three count could be completed and rolled all the way over before she sat up while Savannah checked the count with the referee and was told that it was only a two with the shoulder coming up in time. Star rose to her feet and headed for the ropes once again, bouncing off them to build momentum before she drove a sliding stiff legged kick into her jaw. Valentina fell back to the mat once more and Savannah quickly floated into the mount position and started to deliver open handed slaps with her left and right hands in quick succession, telling Valentina to just stay down and that Star was going to be the next FFW Champion. As The Toronto native covered up, Savannah pulled her up to her feet and looked to deliver the Siren’s Song desecrator only for Valentina to drop down to one knee. Star tried to pull her upwards into the move once more, but as she did so, Lozano caught her with a low blow on the blindside of the referee.

Zack: If the referee had seen that, Savannah would be heading to Relentless! But Valentina….well there’s no honor among thieves.

Dante: Neither one of these women are thieves, so I have no idea what you’re talking about.

Savannah stumbled backwards and Valentina lifted her up off her feet and dropped backwards to the canvas with a flapjack. As Star scrambled to get back to her feet as Lozano forced her way back to hers and as soon as Savannah turned to face the Unity Champion, Valentina jerked her downwards into a double knee facebreaker. It saw the Las Vegas native fall backwards against the ropes and Valentina spun towards to meet her opponent as she stepped forwards with a discus forearm smash. The former No Surrender Champion collapsed to the canvas and as she did so, Lozano started to stomp away at her body, holding onto the top rope as she delivered the Goddess Stomp Down, finishing it off with a  knee drop to the blonde’s face.

Dante: Fe fi fo fum, Lozano’s stomping out a Sir-en!

Zack: You worked hard to make that rhyme happen, fair play.

Star rolled to the outside, holding her face and as she did so, the Latin Goddess took off across the ring, bouncing off the ropes and launched herself into a suicide dive that caught Savannah perfectly and sent her down to the floor in a heap. Valentina came back to her feet and pulled Savannah upwards, slamming her face first into the ring apron before she rolled her back into the ring. Valentina followed in after her, coming to her feet and pulling Savannah up with her where she drove knees into her gut once more, landing five then following it up with five forearm shivers. The Las Vegas native stumbled backwards before Valentina caught her and drove her down into the mat with the Down to Earth spinning impaler. Immediately the Unity Champion rolled her opponent to her back and made the cover, hooking the leg as she did so.

Dante: DOWN TO EARTH!! Valentina’s gonna get her rematch!

One…

...THRE-

Zack: Savannah begs to differ with your opinion on that.

Savannah rolled her shoulder and Valentina shook her head as the official told her that it was just a two count. The Latin Goddess pushed upwards to her feet, pulling Savannah up as she did so before she began to hammer away across her shoulders with clubbing forearm blows, driving her down to her knees before she pulled her into a standing headscissors and lifted her upwards before she hooked her legs and lifted her upwards and spiked her down into the mat with a package piledriver. Star bounced on impact and rolled onto her back before Lozano made the cover, hooking the leg as she did so.

Zack: One big time impact after another as these two women have the FFW Championship on their mind! Is this it?

One…

...THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!NNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dante: No, it’s not! Shortstack is back there right now trying to find a reason she can’t make it to Relentless watching these two!

Star popped her shoulder up before the three count could be completed and Valentina looked towards Fisk. Seeing the two fingers raised a look of frustration appeared on her face and she asked for the three, the official telling her that the shoulder came up at two. Valentina slapped her hands together three times and as she did so, the referee again shook his head and confirmed the two count. Lozano beat her fists against the canvas before she shook her head at the referee and came to her feet, turning her attention to the rising Savannah. Quickly Lozano pulled her opponent upwards and stood behind her as she went to lock in the double chickenwing hold that she was going to use to lift her upwards and into the Crash of Inferiority...but before she could lift her up, Savannah caught her with a mule kick between her legs.

Zack: Well...what’s good for the goose is good for the gander, I suppose. Savannah just gave Lozano a receipt from earlier.

Dante: Probably an old injury. Sometimes your leg seizes up on you like that, especially if someone is standing behind you that you don’t like.

Lozano doubled over, holding her groin and Savannah took a couple of moments to gain her bearings before she turned around and delivered five stiff forearms in quick succession to the side of Valentina’s head. Star then spun the Latin Goddess around, dropped to one knee and fed her head between her legs before she stood up, lifting her opponent up into an electric chair. As she got her up on her shoulders, she went to put her in position for A Cruel Angel’s Thesis one handed electric chair drive only for Lozano to fight it off and counter into a victory roll.

Zack: That’s the CRUEL ANGEL’S THESIS, and there aren’t many I’ve ever seen get up from it!

One…

...THREEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!NNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dante: Now you can add one name to the list then, can’t you?

Star kicked out in the nick of time and rolled back to her knees, looking towards the referee who confirmed that it was just a two count. As Valentina came to her feet she spun around and caught Star with a roundhouse kick to the side of her head. The Las Vegas native staggered backwards and Lozano caught her wrist to pull her into an inverted stomp facebreaker quickly followed by a rolling cutter as Valentina caught her opponent with the Divine Intervention. Lozano wasted no time at all in making the cover and hooking the leg.

Zack: Valentina caught Savannah as flush as an embarrassed woman with that DIVINE INTERVENTION!

...THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dante: FANTASTIC!! SHE’S GONNA GET HER REMATCH!!

Kevin Fisk called for the bell as Valentina rolled onto her back and took a couple of moments breathing deeply before she started to sit up with a grin on her face.

Kat: Here is your winner, by way of pinfall...and the Number One Contender to the FFW Championship……”THE LATIN GODDESS” VALENTINA LOZANO!!!!

Dante; Mark it down, folks! Valentina Lozano has a rematch at Relentless with the FFW Champion, and she’s gonna stomp her through the damn mat!

Zack: That last part remains to be seen, but you’re right about the match happening! Valentina and Missy meet again at Relentless! And that’s gonna do it for us, thank you for tuning in around the world on FFW All Access!

Dante: I look forward to proclaiming Valentina as the next FFW Champion at Relentless.

Zack: Well you better leave her a voicemail then, that’s the only way she’ll hear it!

Star rolled out of the ring and to her feet, holding her jaw as she stared daggers up at Valentina in the ring, the Unity Champion having been helped to her feet by the referee and presented with her title belt. Fisk raised her hand in the air as the sold out Madison Square Garden booed her loudly. Lozano didn’t care at all as she headed towards the corner, climbing to the top rope and held the title aloft with one hand, while she held one finger up to the camera with the other.

Zack: What a 2020 it’s been in FFW! We’ll see you at Breaking Point! For Dante Knox for the last time…

Dante: Stop that!!

Zack: 2021 can’t get here fast enough! Good night from the Garden!

The crowd booed her loudly as she then made the title motion around her waist, telling Missy that she was coming for her and was going to add the FFW Championship to her half of the Unity Titles as the show started to fade off the air.
