“Human” by Rag’n’Bone Man starts to play over the soundsystem as the video screen shows a jail cell door sliding backwards and a pair of black ring boots with legs going all the way up to a simple blue skirt step out onto the landing only to suddenly stumble as if given a push in the small of the back from the man who appeared behind her in shiny black shoes and black pants.

Maybe I'm foolish,

So maybe I'm lying

As the pair pass by, the camera gets a shot from behind before it cuts to more grainy CCTV footage that shows the guard escorting the raven haired prisoner across a prison yard of patchy grass and into another building. There’s another cut as we see a shot of exposed midriff on the other side of a counter that has a pack of gum, some loose change on it and a hair bobble on it. A hand reaches forward, picking up a pen and signs a name quickly before scooping up the possessions as she stiffly pushed to move onwards.

There’s another cut; this time to show the back of the black haired woman as she reaches up to tie her long loose hair back with the bobble while still walking forward, coming to a stop in front of a large closed door. The camera cuts to the opposite side of the door and low down, watching as it swung open and the woman stepped out; only for the blazing sun to obscure her face and body; the video screens becoming a blazing yellow-white sun glare with a spotlight shining bright as the same woman has appeared at the top of the entrance ramp. The spotlight dims to reveal Mara Werth standing there in her black boots, blue skirt and white vest top.

With a smile on her face she begins to head down the ramp to the ring, running up the ring steps. She moved down the apron, facing out to the crowd and threw her arms up into the air before she stepped through the ropes. Heading to the corner, the girl carefully stepped up onto the middle ropes, throwing her hands up into the air again before she bounced back onto her feet and stretched as she waited for the match to start."

She stretched as she waited for the match to start.

Wrestler’s Strengths:
Mara is physically strong as well as having proven to be a fast learner from the veterans in the Future Shock training center. She is always determined and motivated to fight through to the bitter end, no matter what, to make the most of this second opportunity that she has been given.

Wrestler’s Weaknesses:
Mara is still learning and is still a little bit green. Her high flying moves are not very polished and she will take time getting into position to land them. Also when backed into a corner she will resort to literally fighting her way and will do anything it takes to survive if needs be.

Wrestler’s Biography (Their history and what brings them to .FFW):
As a teenager, Mara fell head over heels in love with a guy. She had it bad...like believing they were Romeo and Juliet, meant-to-be, soulmate kinda thing. She even dropped out of high school when he graduated and moved with him when he went to college on a football scholarship. She got knocked up and, in her own words did 'the whole sixteen and pregnant thing'. Yet still, she uprooted her life and went with him to Tampa where she got a job. She spent her days busting her ass waiting tables so they could pay rent and bills on their apartment together and so they could raise their kid.

Of course, it wasn't to be.

The guy turned out to be an asshole. Cheated on her...but Mara didn't find out about it until his birthday when she got off her shift early and went home to surprise him. Obviously that was the day that she caught him in bed with another woman. They didn't see her before she snuck out and came back later when she was supposed to. She acted like everything was fine. She did all those things that he loved, that she'd promised she'd do for him on his birthday.

And she waited until he was fast asleep before she slipped out of the bed.

She found the hammer they kept for DIY tasks around the house and in the moonlight she snuck up to the foot of the bed. She raised the hammer high above her head and she brought it crashing down on his ankle.

He screamed so loud they'd could have heard it in China. It didn't stop Mara from bringing it crashing down on his other ankle. She raised it once more and before she could bring it crashing down on his 'little berries', the door was kicked down and she found herself staring down the barrel of the gun wielded by the cop that lived next door.

The boy needed surgery. He needed his ankles pinning and metal put in to hold the joint together and went through months of rehab.

Mara... Mara found herself in court. She found herself in front of understanding judge but still wound up in jail. While there she did her GED, she worked out and took some classes in video production and eventually, when she finished serving her time and had paid her debt to society she was allowed back onto the streets where she kept up the habit of working out and even started to learn to wrestle.

Eventually she managed to get herself a job with Future Shock and has promised to make the most of her second chance, rising through the ranks to win the Aspire Championship and then the Future Shock Championship before finally making the move to the FFW Main Roster.
