Live from the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California
October 16, 2021

The exterior of FFW headquarters is shown at night as Savannah Star walks through the front doors into the lobby, giving a little wave to the receptionist as she passes her. As soon as the Siren is out of her sight, she pulls the fire alarm and causes sprinklers to go off as “One Woman Army” by Porcelain Black begins to play.

I'm on the battlefield
Like, oh my God (ooh la la)
Knocking soldiers down
Like house of cards (ooh la la)

In another part of the building as employees are evacuating due to the fire alarm, two women step off the elevator with grins on their face before it’s revealed to be Bianca Salvador and Mel Avilo. They head into a room and slam the door behind them before the power shuts off and emergency flood lights illuminate the hallways as they head back out.

Let's march tonight
The music is still playin'
So get and up fight
You know dat you want it
You know dat you would

The next shot shows the FFW Championship sitting inside an office, now bathed in lasers as part of an emergency theft system. Then all of a sudden, a woman descends from the ceiling in front of it. She’s hanging on a wire and has a mask over her face as she starts cutting the glass surrounding the title. Quickly as she does so, the lasers are deactivated and she lands on her feet. The mask comes off, and Missy is revealed to be the cat burglar.

I hit cha with dat kung-fu Jackie Chan
Boom, boom, boom, pow
I'm super fast
High heels, big deal
I'll kick your ass

She tosses the title over her shoulder before the lights come back up, and she finds herself surrounded by Harley Shannon, Cassandra Steen, Savannah Star, Tara Cortez, and Nevaeh Summers. Missy lays the title down on the table near her, and waves them forward. And as the group closes in on her, that’s when the show goes live inside the arena to a roaring crowd.

I'm on the battlefield
Like, oh my God (ooh la la)
Knocking soldiers down
Like house of cards (ooh la la)
I'm a one woman army (ooh la la)
Yes, I'm a one woman army
(ooh la la, ooh la la, ooh la la)

Fireworks explode from the stage and across the top of the arena while the fans make a thunderous amount of noise. The ring mat has the Breaking Point logo on it, which is shown before the shot changes to the broadcast booth with Zack and Mel Avilo?!

Zack: From the home of the Sacramento Kings as well as where the big trucks of Monster Jam perform, we welcome you to the Golden 1 Center here in Sacramento, California! We’re fresh off the 12th annual Sin & Sacrifice, and thank you for joining us. Tonight, I’m joined by one of the most successful managers in FFW, Christian Kincaid.

Christian gives Zack a quirked eyebrow with a smile.

Christian: One of? I’d say THE most successful personally. But I won’t argue with you. I’m glad to get to call a whole show for once. I’ll be sharing some insights that you definitely won’t get from the other managers.

Zack: Fair enough. We have a packed show, and tha will include Emma Mackenzie going one on one with Cassandra Steen. These two have met before, and I think Emma wants to prove something.

Christian: Overall, Emma doesn’t have anything left to prove in her career. But beating up Cassandra and tying up the record? Well that’s definitely something she’s eager to do.

Zack: Nadia Beaulieu of Target Acquired gets her hands dirty in singles action tonight when she meets Mel Avilo, with Kyle Kilmeade in her corner.

Christian: Nadia is more than ready for this match. As much as she loves her partner, she is also ready to prove she can climb the same heights in this company as Alessandra. And the Future Shock Champion and I both believe in her.

Zack: Also tonight, the still-reigning Phoenix Champion Nevaeh Summers will meet Mara Werth. That one will probably split this crowd down the middle, but the winner will all of us watching.

Christian: Nevaeh proved she didn’t need anything under her tape to win at Sin & Sacrifice, and now maybe Mara can get herself a shot at the champion. I wouldn’t put it past Mara, she’s a tremendous talent. Kinda wish I had gotten to work with her before she came up through the ranks.

Zack: It’s gonna be a full show as we begin the journey towards the 2nd annual Crossed Out on November 27th on FFW All Access. So let’s send it up our Australian head turner in the ring.

The camera switches to Kat in the ring, dressed in the colors of the Sacramento Kings, and getting a pop for it. She lifts the microphone, and begins the introductions.

Kat: The opening contest of Breaking Point is scheduled for one fall to a finish.

“Something New” starts up over the speakers, and the jeers have almost drowned out the music before Mel Avilo has even arrived (though in fairness, the beginning is pretty quiet). Yellow, green and blue spotlights dance around the arena, while the tron shows images of the Brazilian wrestler in action. Suddenly, the music stops and the tron cuts out...only for the sound of crashing thunder to echo loudly through the arena.

Love to hate,
Repeating my mistakes.
But there’s no one left to listen,
No one left to listen.
Take a chance, and fuck the consequence
When there’s no one left to listen,
No one left to listen.

As a curtain of dry ice smoke fills up the entrance stage, Mel Avilo walks up to the top of the ramp, with her manager Kyle Kilmeade right behind her. Once there, she looks over the jeering crowd with a big smirk on her face, then does a quick twirl on the stage, finishing in a low-dipped bow. Mel then swings an arm, and green, white and yellow pyro goes off around her. Then, side by side with Kyle, she walks down the entrance ramp, with their Kyle giving her a lonely round of applause.

Right now! We’re taking control!
Tired of waiting
Tired of waiting for something new!
Right now! We’re taking control!
Tired of waiting
Tired of waiting for something new!

Kat: Introducing first…from Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, by way of Craigleith, accompanied by Kyle Kilmeade...MEL AVILO!

Instead of going straight to the ring though, Mel walks up to a camera, getting right up to the lens with her mischievous smirk. Mel’s smirk becomes a grin as she gives the camera, and the viewers at home, some choice words about their opponents. After that, she rolls into the ring and moves to the turnbuckles in her corner, climbing onto the second rope and staring into the booing crowd, only to wave them off and regroup with Kyke in her corner. The music fades out with Mel sat on the middle turnbuckle, the pair strategising between themselves.

Zack: Mel Avilo has made it clear she wants back into the Evolution title conversation,, but you know as well as I do that it’s not just a matter of asking for title matches in FFW.

Christian: You got that right. You have to climb the ladder, and hope that Samantha, in this case, decides you’re worthy of getting a shot at it. I mean Kelly waited about a decade for her first shot at the FFW Championship, so it’s hard to have a lot of sympathy for Mel.

The lights in the arena dim and the almost haunting intro to ‘Good For You’ begins to play around the arena. A warm spotlight hits the center of the stage and the curtain at the entrance is pulled back to reveal a feminine figure standing just outside the reach of the spotlight.

I'm on my fourteen carats
I'm fourteen carat
Doing it up like Midas
Now you say I got a touch
So good, so good
Make you never wanna leave
So don't, so don't

The figure steps into the light to reveal Nadia Beaulieu. Dressed in provocative ring gear, that shows of her figure to perfection, she stands with one hand on her hip. The other raised towards her mouth with one finger resting gently on her bottom lip. She lowers her head a little as she looks around the crowd with a hooded gaze.

Gonna wear that dress you like, skin-tight
Do my hair up real, real nice
And syncopate my skin to your heart beating

She slowly tilts her head back and runs her finger down from her lip, over her chin and down the front of her cleavage still keeping the hooded gaze as she does. She sways her hips and starts to lower herself in rhythm with the music. She takes her time to make her way down, before taking just as much time to stand upright again. The blonde starts making her way down the ramp with a strut, running her hands down her curves at the side as she does.

'Cause I just wanna look good for you, good for you
I just wanna look good for you, good for you
Let me show you how proud I am to be yours
Leave this dress a mess on the floor
And still look good for you, good for you

Kat: Introducing at this time, from Beaune, France………………………..NADIA BEAULIEU!

I'm on my marquise diamonds
I'm a marquise diamond
Could even make that Tiffany jealous
You say I give it to you hard
So bad, so bad
Make you never wanna leave
I won't, I won't

Nadia reaches the ring and climbs the steps, before scaling to the top of the turnbuckle from the outside. She gets her balance and then runs her hands down her sides again, before she somersaults off the top to land on her feet in the ring. Immediately dropping down into the splits once she has. She stays there for a moment before getting back to her feet and heading to her corner to await the start of the match.

Zack: One half of the former Unity Tag Champions, Nadia is one of your pupils, isn’t that right, Christian?

Christian: She is, and of all the ones I’ve had, I think she took to it quickest. I feel like she has some form of eidetic memory, which means all she has to do is see it and she can do it.

Referee Melinda Davis checked both women for hidden objects, and then called for the bell to start the match. Nadia bounced on the balls of her feet for a moment, staying loosened up as she met Mel in the center of the ring. The brunette seemed none too impressed as she tried to lock up with the blonde bombshell. But Nadia didn’t go for that, instead using a drop toe hold to take her down to the mat. Mel got back to her feet quickly, only to turn around into an armdrag takedown followed by two more before she broke the cycle. Avilo hopped up yet again, and got whipped chest first into the far corner. Before she could move, Nadia was right behind her with an avalanche splash to her back. She then dropped into a backslide for a quick pin attempt.

Zack: Nadia’s going for ti all early with this backslide!

ONE!!

Mel easily kicked out, and rolled back to her feet. She went for a double axe handle to Nadia’s back when she was getting up, but missed when the French beauty rolled out of the way and she hit the mat instead. Beaulieu got to her feet, and started firing quick kicks into Mel’s body as she was trying to stand up and then a facebuster put her down on the mat.

Christian: When I train Nadia, we work on speed drills a lot. And that’s showing you how well they are working. We’ve actually managed to make her a little bit faster.

The fans were behind Nadia as she got to her feet, nailing Mel with a pair of knee lifts to the body as she was trying to get up. Beaulieu shoved her shoulder first into the middle turnbuckle before darting for the far side. Mel backed out of the corner holding her shoulder just as Nadia left her feet, snapping off a hurricanrana before hooking both legs after impact for the cover.

Zack: Here she goes again! Mel dropped right on her head this time!

ONE!

T-NO.

Mel kicked out again, and tried to get to her feet. She made it too, at least till she turned around and caught a roundhouse kick to the head that sent her through the ropes to the outside. Kyle immediately headed towards his client.

Christian: Since they can’t really hear me, what I’d be telling Mel right now is to get Nadia to follow her out to the floor. Run some kind of diversion tactic. Kyle’s a pro at those.

Davis had already started her ten count as Mel listened to Kyle for a moment, and climbed back up cautiously onto the apron. As soon as she did, Nadia caught her with a running forearm to the jaw before grabbing the top rope to slingshot her back into the ring the hard way. Beaulieu hopped up onto the second rope to deliver a diving elbow drop into Mel’s chest before hooking the leg again for the cover.

Christian: If I didn’t know better, I’d say Kyle didn’t prepare Mel very well for htis match! I think they may have underestimated her.

ONE!!

TWO!

Mel kicked out again, shoving Nadia off the cover. The French beauty went to grab her again, but caught a thumb in the eye from Mel. That stopped her, allowing the Brazilian to get to her feet before she jerked Nadia forward into a short arm lariat.

Zack: What a lariat! I think she irritated Mel!

Christian: That’ll happen when you come into a match unprepared.

Several hard stomps to her body followed that before Mel yanked her to her feet, and drove her back into the corner with a shoulder thrust. Three more quickly landed before Mel started showing some boxing skills with combination body shots followed by a spinning back elbow to Nadia’s mouth. She scooped her over one shoulder, and came out of the corner with a running powerslam.

Zack: Raw power from Mel, and it’s always worked for her. Nadia got worked over in the corner, and now we’re back to Mel 101.

Christian: You’re awfully cordial to a woman who basically threw you under the bus at Sin & Sacrifice. Yes, Mel can throw people around. But Nadia isn’t exactly new to facing stronger opponents.

Mel pounded the blonde’s head with forearms before applying a seated headscissors. She locked her ankles, and started squeezing her legs together tightly. Davis moved around to try to get to check Nadia’s face and ask her if she wanted to quit. The blonde did not want to quit at all, and Mel punished her for it by flipping over to her stomach and pistoning her hips up and down to spike Naida’s head into the mat again and again. She rolled back to a seat, and told the referee to ask her again.

Christian: I have never seen anyone submit to a headscissors, and I don’t think that changes here. But what this does is let Mel think out her new offensive without Nadia catching her with shots.

Zack: Every part of Mel is powerful. Nothing but muscle, and her lower body is no different. You can probably bounce quarters off those legs.

Davis checked again, still getting a “No!” from Nadia. Mel shook her head, and started raining more forearms on her back and neck. Nadia planted her hands and feet though, and looked to be trying to pull her head free. Mel stopped that by standing up, grabbing her around the waist, and delivering a running turnbuckle powerbomb that slumped the blonde to the mat. Mel climbed onto the middle rope to deliver a basement dropkick into Nadia’s chest before dragging her out of the corner for a cover.

Zack: She folded Nadia up like origami in the corner, and Avilo’s looking for three!

ONE!!!

TWOOOO!!!

Nadia got her shoulder up before the three came down, and Mel quickly pulled her to her feet. She fired her into the far corner, causing the French beauty to land back first before Avilo scooped her up into a spinebuster.

Christian: The thing I’ve noticed about Mel is that everything she does is deliberate. What I mean by that is that she doesn’t take risks. She hasn’t in this match. You can’t wait for her to make a mistake, you have to force her to do it.

The powerful brunette lifted her up again in a front carry, and then dropped her back first across her knee. She didn’t let her fall to the mat though, instead lifting her up and dropping her across her knee again and again. A fallaway slam followed that, sending Nadia nearly into the ropes and clutching her back. Kyle moved around in front of her, taunting her a little before she tried to swipe at him. He moved out of the way before Mel dropped both knees into her back, telling her to keep her hands to herself.

Zack: I don’t blame Nadia for taking a shot at him for antagonizing her like that, but Nadia’s problems are in the right now.

Christian: He has it coming more often than not, that was no different. Nadia needs to find a way to make Mel make a mistake, like I was saying. She’s starting to get cocky now, that’ll make it easier.

Nadia was pulled back to her feet again, and fired into the far side ropes. She rebounded into what was going to be a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker, but Nadia countered as she left her feet into a tornado DDT. Both women lay on the mat after that, and Davis began a mandatory ten count on them. The fans in the arena were chanting for Nadia, who was beginning to move at the count of five with one hand pressed to her back. She was back to her feet at seven, and Mel wasn’t far behind her doing the same.

Christian: Well she didn’t make her make a mistake, she just outwitted her there. I know her back is in pain, but I also know she can fight through the pain.

Zack: No question that Nadia’s back is screaming at her right now, but you’re right. She can’t let Mel linger for too long, or things will go from bad to worse for her.

As soon as she spotted Mel almost back to her feet, Nadia sprung into action with a running kneelift to her face that sent her backwards wobbling on her feet. The blonde pulled her head down, and drove multiple kneelifts into her face like she was bouncing a soccer ball between her knees. Avilo’s head was snatched under one arm before Nadia used the ropes for a springboard bulldog. She headed up the corner with a pained expression on her face as she spotted Mel starting to rise again, and launched into a meteora to Avilo’s body. As soon as she hit the mat, Nadia went for the cover with both legs hooked.

Zack: Huge meteora from the top floor, and nadia’s gonna win it right here!!

ONE!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THR-NO!

Mel got her shoulder up in the nick of time, and the blonde got back to her feet. With the fans chanting for her, she pointed towards the corner again before returning to climb to the top rope.

Christian: Here we go! Nadia almost had her in that last pin attempt, and I think she senses Mel’s ready to be put away. And she’s right!

Nadia launched herself into her exploding corkscrew 450 splash, and landed it perfectly! The fans came to their feet as she hooked the leg for the cover, and Davis fell into position.

Christian: That’s what I’m talking about! A BLAST OFF and then some!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

Davis called for the bell to a pop from the crowd as Nadia got back to her feet somewhat slowly. Her back was still bothering her, but hearing the announcement made her start to smile through the pain as the referee raised her hand.

Kat: Your winner by pinfall……………….NADIA BEAULIEU!!!

Zack: A stirring win for Nadia here tonight at Breaking Point! She worked hard for it, and earned every bit of that!

Christian stood up at the booth applauding her and sharing plenty of praise for her when she looked towards him.

Christian: That was fantastic, Nadia! You did a tremendous job! That’s how you show people you’re more than just a tag team specialist! Well done!

Zack: My broadcast partner tonight is showering his pupil with praise, and all of it well earned. I think Nadia is turning a lot of heads for a new reason tonight.

She stepped out to the floor, and got a hug from her manager before she headed towards the back. The show went to a commercial for the Sydney Supershow Tuesday.

Ironing Out The Wrinkles

The interior of a gym is shown, full of equipment and only a couple people other than her using it. That would be Kelly Kincaid as her husband coaches her. First, we see her sparring with a trainer, and her mat wrestling skills coming into play. Next, she’s seen working on cardio with a treadmill going at the highest speed as she races on it with a sheen to her skin from sweat.

After that, she is in front of a heavy bag, but throwing very few punches. Instead, she’s mostly using her feet like a MMA fighter would. She’s learning and perfecting what looks to be kickboxing skills before she takes a breath. The shot changes again, and finds her sitting on the apron of the ring with a towel in her hand as Christian sits beside her.

Christian: When Kelly here went into Sin & Sacrifice, she headed to Phoenix preparing for an opponent she’d never faced before. But it was certainly an opponent she had watched plenty of times. But what she didn’t expect, nor did I, was the absolute venom Savannah seemed to have for her when you watched her promo. I’m not sure what Kelly ever did to Savannah personally, but to her credit, she brought the fight that night like we knew she would. And I suspect there’ll come a day where they may meet again.

He turned his attention to his wife.

Christian: Did I miss something where you insulted Savannah or someone in her family or something? Because damn, she sounded like you slapped her grandmother or something.

She shrugged.

Kelly: Not as far as I know….but then Savannah is probably capable of taking my mere presence in a ring with her as an insult. For all I know that’s what it was, that I was put in a match with her as an obstacle to her getting yet another opportunity for the FFW Championship. Maybe she felt I was getting in the way of her sense of entitlement.

The blonde paused to shrug again.

Kelly: Anyway, like you said, she didn’t pull any punches at all in the match. All the venom and bile she had for me pre-match certainly came out in that war we had at Sin & Sacrifice. The truth is that I might have won, but as anyone following me on Twitter knows - it came at a price.

For a moment she reached for her knee.

Kelly: It highlighted something I need to work on and I gotta tell, I didn’t think I shirked leg day previously but what I’ve been doing lately makes all that seem like child’s play. The gloves haven’t definitely come off.

Christian: I can vouch for the fact she never blew off leg day. But in a strange way, I guess a thanks is due to Savannah, because she drove home the point with her offense that told us it was time to really double down. And Kelly here has been improving her leg strength. She’s been getting them as fit as any human could hope for. And as that training has been ongoing, future opponents are going to be surprised what it feels like when they are on the wrong end of her kicks. All in preparation as she prepares to meet the FFW Champion once more at Crossed Out. Missy. A woman I put in the class of the greatest FFW Champions of all time. Not just because I manage her either. I’d put Missy’s reign up there with women like Shaw, Scarlett Kincaid, Caroline Dallins, Stacey Mackenzie or even Wendy Briese. She’s an elite level athlete, and what I will class as one of the toughest opponents Kelly has had in her career.

Kelly: You can’t not put her amongst that list can you? I mean...only her and Shaw have held the title for more than three hundred days. She’s turned away everyone who has ever challenged her for it and she had to beat a former FFW Champion and a member of Hall of Fame to earn herself a shot. And I’ve never, ever said that Missy wasn’t a worthy Champion. I’ve never said that she didn’t earn her achievements either and I’ve seen first hand both being across from her in the ring and as her partner exactly what she’s capable of. As someone who has been in the ring with a Who’s Who of FFW’s greatest names; who has fought most of the names in FFW’s Hall of Fame, I can certainly confirm that Missy is up there against the greatest.

There was another pause.

Kelly: But so do I. Like I said, I’ve faced a Who’s Who of the greatest talent to have ever stepped foot in a FFW ring and in most cases I’ve beaten them. Clean as a whistle one, two, three. Or in those very, very few cases where I haven’t, I’ve given them the toughest fights of her career. Missy might like to be diplomatic, she might not want to piss off someone she might be facing somewhere down the line but in private...deep down inside of her, she knows that’s true of me too. She knows that she went to war at Unstoppable - one that she’d arguably not had since she faced Shaw a year earlier. Now, at Crossed Out, she has to do it again.

Christian: November 27th. The Unstoppable main event, now in a rematch. I don’t even know what the rest of the card looks like, but that match sells the show by itself for me. No question in my mind there. All for the prize every woman on this roster, including the girls in Future Shock, would love to call their own. And you’ll see them turn the dial up to eleven on the 27th to be able to say they are the FFW Champion.

Kelly shook her head.

Kelly: Nah. We turned the dial up to 11 for Unstoppable. At Crossed Out, I’m leaving with the FFW Championship...I don’t care if I have to push that dial up to 12, 13, 14, 20, 30 or whatever. I’m raising the bar and while Missy will follow me every step of the way, I’m gonna keep on raising it, keeping on pushing it. I’ll be in the best shape of my life in every way imaginable and I’ll keep going until she falls away. This match...it’ll be a whole highlight reel for both of us by the time it’s done. But I am going to end the night with the title in my hands, held high above my head; we are going to finish the year with a new FFW Champion.

A graphic shows us the main event set for Crossed Out only on FFW All Access before Breaking Point takes a commercial break.

Future Shock’s Unstoppable

The next image we see is the Sydney Supershow poster before the camera pulls back to see the Future Shock Director Adam Grant and one of the show’s talents first looking at it and then the camera.

Adam: In 3 days, Future Shock will host its own version of Unstoppable when we have the sixth annual Sydney Supershow at the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia. It’ll be exclusive to FFW All Access, and I just wanted to take a moment to encourage all of  you here in the arena and watching at home to make sure you’re part of it. I even brought one of the women competing here with me to the show before she has to hop what is probably the longest flight she’ll ever take in her life.

The camera pulls back a bit more to see he’s referring to Luci, who gets a warm reception from the crowd in the arena.

Luci: I could not agree more that everyone should get to watching this when we do the show on Tuesday! I’m really looking forward to this for a whole bunch of reasons! It’s a great show, there’s always loads going on AND I get to wrestle two hours south of my hometown! Best reason of them all, really.

Adam: Three titles will be on the line, including the Future Shock Championship, the Future Shock Tag Titles, and the Anarchy title in a Falls Count Anywhere match. Plus if you haven’t heard already, we’re going to reveal a brand new title that night. A title that can and will be defended across both rosters, FFW and Future Shock. You’ll get to see it, and find out what it’s about that night on All Access.

He looked over to Luci.

Adam: That’s a whole lot of potential challengers, isn’t it?

Luci: There are! And I reckon what iit ii will determine the kind of wrestler who goes for it. You wouldn’t see me challenge for the Anarchy Championship, for example. Speaking of, that’s the match I’m looking forward to most. While they’re not match types I want to take part in, they’re fascinating to watch.

Adam: That’s also the show where I will share my decision on whether or not I will take the job as head of talent relations for FFW, which would require me to step down as Future Shock Director. I’ve made my decision, you’ll find out what it is Tuesday night.

Luci pouts.

Luci: If you leave, I’m starting a riot. That’s all I’m saying on the matter. Though I’m pretty sure I’m not the only person who feels that way about it, so at least I won’t be alone.

Adam: Long story short….make sure you’re part of the Sydney Supershow right there at home on FFW All Access. It’s Future Shock’s Unstoppable. It’s the biggest card we’ve had just in terms of how many matches will be involved. And if for some reason you haven’t watched Future Shock in all this time, my first question is why? But then, I definitely encourage you to see this one and find out why Future Shock is pretty much the lifeblood of this company.

Luci: The whole show is going to be fantastic, top to bottom. Which is the way that Future Shock has always been, in my opinion. Aside of that I don’t think I could disagree with anything that’s just been said! Come help us make the show as big as it can be!

The show cuts to a commercial for the upcoming Sydney Supershow after that, and then goes to a commercial break.

The show returns from the commercial break back to the ring, and Kat awaits with her microphone before she begins the next introductions.

Kat: The following contest is scheduled for one fall to a finish.

Zack: Christian, I know you have an interest in this match because the Phoenix Champion is about to compete.

Christian: You’re right about that. I have a client who has some unfinished business with that title, and you know who I’m talking about.

"I'm only human
I'm only—I'm only—
I'm only human, human

“Human” by Rag’n’Bone Man starts to play over the soundsystem as the video screen shows a jail cell door sliding backwards and a pair of black ring boots with legs going all the way up to a simple blue skirt step out onto the landing only to suddenly stumble as if given a push in the small of the back from the man who appeared behind her in shiny black shoes and black pants.

Maybe I'm foolish,
Maybe I'm blind
Thinking I can see through this
And see what's behind
Got no way to prove it
So maybe I'm lying

As the pair pass by, the camera gets a shot from behind before it cuts to more grainy CCTV footage that shows the guard escorting the raven haired prisoner across a prison yard of patchy grass and into another building. There’s another cut as we see a shot of exposed midriff on the other side of a counter that has a pack of gum, some loose change on it and a hair bobble on it. A hand reaches forward, picking up a pen and signs a name quickly before scooping up the possessions as she stiffly pushed to move onwards.

But I'm only human after all,
I'm only human after all
Don't put your blame on me
Don't put your blame on me

There’s another cut; this time to show the back of the black haired woman as she reaches up to tie her long loose hair back with the bobble while still walking forward, coming to a stop in front of a large closed door. The camera cuts to the opposite side of the door and low down, watching as it swung open and the woman stepped out; only for the blazing sun to obscure her face and body; the video screens becoming a blazing yellow-white sun glare with a spotlight shining bright as the same woman has appeared at the top of the entrance ramp. The spotlight dims to reveal Mara Werth standing there in her black boots, blue skirt and white vest top.

Take a look in the mirror
And what do you see?
Do you see it clearer
Or are you deceived
In what you believe?

Kat: Ladies and gentlemen please welcome from Tuscaloosa, Alabama… MARA WERTH!!!

'Cause I'm only human after all,
You're only human after all
Don't put the blame on me
Don't put your blame on me

With a smile on her face she begins to head down the ramp to the ring, running up the ring steps. She moved down the apron, facing out to the crowd and threw her arms up into the air before she stepped through the ropes. Heading to the corner, the girl carefully stepped up onto the middle ropes, throwing her hands up into the air again before she bounced back onto her feet and stretched as she waited for the match to start.

Zack: Mara Werth may have received the biggest ovation upon arriving from Future Shock of anyone I can recall. She has proven to have a major following, and tonight she has a chance to put herself right into title contention.

Christian: She does, and I think the Phoenix division is really starting to fill up lately. Nevaeh may have a bum elbow right now, but she’s running out of body space for all the targets on her.

As “Rise” by Sixx A.M. we see the arena lights blinking in sync with the lyrics of the music. Nevaeh Summers eventually storms her way onto the stage , fired up, and motioning to the crowd, before stopping at the top of the ramp and looking out at the people. Nevaeh is wearing yellow rimmed sunglasses as well as a white Poisoned by Ivy military jacket with yellow trim. As we keep looking at Nevaeh we see she is wearing yellow colored leather pants running down her leg. The side of each leg is laced up with white colored fabric, showing of her skin. On her feet we see black boots and white kickpads. On the front of each kickpad appears her logo as there is a circle with “NS” in the center of it in Yellow. While “The" scrolls on the top and “Finest” scrolls on the bottom, also in yellow.

Nevaeh looks around the building, nodding her head, as she starts feeling the crowd. “Feel that energy” is what can be heard coming from Nevaeh as she goes about heading down the ramp halfway and begins pointing her left hand out to the crowd and moves it around as if she was conducting them. The crowd moves from left to right, linking arms. Nevaeh then points to the opposite side of the crowd with her right hand, urging that side of the building on the same way, to which they do. Nevaeh lowers her head, her hands still swaying to the crowd till she raises her head up and snaps her arms out to the side.

As Nevaeh strikes her signature pose a row of pyro goes off next to her, starting far out and rushing close to her, before a big unified explosion happens behind her. Nevaeh now lowered her head back down and looked towards the ring and began walking down the ramp with a purpose.

Kat: Making her way to the ring at this time she resides in Los Angeles, California by way of Atlanta, Georgia. She weighs in tonight at 120 pounds. She is Nevaeh Summers!!!

Nevaeh reaches the bottom of the ramp and goes about slapping hands with the fans. Nevaeh now heads to the opposite side and slaps a few more hands before removing her sunglasses and just casually tosses them out towards the crowd. Nevaeh than quickly runs to the ring, sliding in under the bottom rope, and gets to a knee. Nevaeh just looks out for a moment before getting to her feet and shimmies out of her jacket.

Nevaeh then approaches the middle of the ropes facing the hard camera. Nevaeh climbs up them, hooking a leg over the top rope and straddling it. Nevaeh now sits there and looks out to the capacity crowd. The blonde began motioning them to get louder, which they do. She eventually lowers her head and starts motioning her arms as if she's conducting them again. This time we zoom out and capture the front row all around motioning along with her. After a moment Nevaeh snaps her head back and her arms out. Multiple spotlights soon shift down onto her, basking her in the light.

Nevaeh keeps striking the pose till she sees fit. Once she has she gets off the ropes and makes her way to the opposite side of the ring where she puts one foot on the bottom rope and the other on the middle. She bounces on them while looking out to the crowd and stretches her arms out yet again, encouraging them to get louder.

Nevaeh bounces off the ropes and lands on her feet. She starts psyching herself up as she paces back and forth along a corner.

Zack: The Phoenix Champion hopefully silenced a lot of critics, namely Kyle, who claims she was competing with a loaded elbow. Where do you weigh in on that?

Christian: Well she’s not wearing the tape tonight on her, so I don’t think it matters. I didn’t have enough evidence to say one way or the other, but even if she was, there are ways to work around that if you’re say...Tara Cortez.

Referee Kevin Fisk made sure no one was carrying any weapons before he called for the bell. Nevaeh headed to the center, offering Mara a handshake. It was returned in good sportsmanship before they locked up in the center of the ring. Mara immediately showed her strength advantage when she used the tie-up to shove Nevaeh into the nearest ropes. The blonde stopped herself from going through them, but that only gave Mara an opening as she rushed her with an European uppercut. Two more rocked her head back before Werth scooped her up into a belly to belly overhead suplex. The champion got back to her feet, only to get bowled over once again with a running high knee from Mara. Summers stumbled backwards, and was quickly pulled into a short arm clothesline.

Zack: Mara came out of the gate making use her strength advantage right away, didn’t she? Nevaeh’s practically being manhandled.

Christian; That’s why she works on her strength training, Zack. It isn’t so she can take out the trash faster, it’s for situations where it comes in handy just like this.

Mara didn’t give the champion time to recover before she pulled her to her feet, and whipped her chest first into the far corner. Summers managed to stop herself before colliding with the turnbuckles, and Mara snatched her from behind into a full nelson suplex into a bridge for the cover.

Zack: Werth’s wasting no time in going for the win!

ONE!!!

TW-NO.

Nevaeh kicked out, and got free of Mara’s grip. But the brunette pulled her back to her feet once again. She tried to scoop her up for a slam, but Nevaeh drove an elbow into the back of her head to stop that. Summers helder her in place to land a few knees into her face followed by a DDT.

Christian: I was wondering when Nevaeh was gonna get control of the situation. I know Mara probably surprised her, but this is a veteran who has achieved at the highest levels of FFW that we’re talking about.

The champion leaned against the ropes for a half second trying to collect herself until she saw mara beginning to get up. She fired a couple more knee lifts into her body before using a snapmare to put her on the canvas. Werth sat up long enough for Nevaeh to hit the near side with a running punt kick to her back. It froze the former Future Shock Champion up long enough for Nevaeh to bounce off the far side and put her down again with a basement dropkick to the chest.

Zack: What do you think Nevaeh has to do in this match? You’ve managed women against her, most recently Tara, of course.

Christian: It’s different for different opponents. If I’m advising Nevaeh, keep mara on the mat at all times. Don’t let her get up, don’t let her breathe.

Mara started to sit up again, and Nevaeh stayed on top of her with clubbing blows to the back of her neck and head. She dragged the brunette to her feet enough to hook her head to deliver a slingshot suplex. The Phoenix Champion bounced off the near side with a rolling thunder senton that landed flawlessly, and dragged Mara to her feet long enough to plant her with a variant of the DDT. The cover followed that.

Zack: A future shock DDT from the Phoenix Champion! That might have been a message right there!!

ONE!!!

TW-NO.

Mara kicked out as the two was coming down, and Nevaeh wasted no time in transitioning into a rear chinlock after sitting her up. She made sure to dig her knee between the powerhouse’s shoulders at the same time.

Christian: Nevaeh’s doing this right, as far as I’m concerned. Only getting Mara up when she absolutely has to, but still keeping most of her offense on the ground.

Fisk was about to ask the former convict if she wanted to give up, but Mara was already turning to her side to get back to her feet. Nevaeh rose with her, turning it into a standing side headlock. When Werth tried to shove her off, Nevaeh only went about two steps before grabbing her hair and pulling her back into the headlock again. Before Mara could try to shoot her off a second time, Nevaeh darted for the corner to deliver a corner bulldog to the girl from Alabama. It sent Mara stumbling backwards and dropped to a knee, allowing Nevaeh to bounce off the ropes for an axe kick to the back of her head that dropped her down to the mat again. The champion rolled her over for another cover immediately.

Zack: Nevaeh’s doing a fantastic job of negating Mara’s power, and there’s another cover!

ONE!!!

TWOO!!

Werth kicked out again, shoving Nevaeh away from her at the same time. The champion quickly got back to her feet to go get her. But when she grabbed Mara’s head, the jailbird drove her backwards into the corner with a shoulder thrust. It knocked the wind out of the blonde before Mara scooped her over her shoulders for a Death Valley driver.

Christian: It was just that split second Mara gave herself by pushing Nevaeh away that let her get her wits about her again. And now Nevaeh’s back on the defensive.

But the former convict didn’t get up very quickly, due to the effects of Nevaeh’s offense. When she did, Nevaeh was already up to her feet again and coming towards her with a double axe handle blow in mind. But with her hands up to deliver it, that left her abdomen open and Mara caught her with a kick in the stomach before she could deliver the blow. A second one sent her backwards a step before Mara caught her with a yakuza kick to the chest that dropped the Phoenix Champion to her knees.

Zack: Mara was always among the strongest women on the Future Shock roster, and the only thing that’s changed are the initials of the roster she’s on now.

Christian: When you possess the kind of strength she does, everything hurts just that much more.

Mara scooped the champion up into a bearhug before driving her back first into the first corner. She introduced Nevaeh’s body to all four corners with as much velocity as she could muster before finishing off the flurry of shots with a running spinebuster. Nevaeh’s body arched off the mat in pain as Mara got to her feet.

Zack: Why do you think Mara’s not going after Nevaeh’s elbow here? It’s obvious she’s working over her body.

Christian: My best guess is that Mara wants to prove she can beat Nevaeh on her own without needing to vulture off what others have before her. I can kinda respect that.

With about half the crowd behind her, she hoisted Nevaeh over her shoulder and took off for a running powerslam. But Summers slipped out the back, and landed on her feet. Before Werth could turn around, Nevaeh hooked her arms into a full nelson facebuster instead. She quickly rolled her over for the cover with a leg hook.

Zack: Oh, Mara got surprised right there! This could be the knockout shot Nevaeh was looking for too!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOO!!!

But Mara still managed to get her shoulder up in time, causing Nevaeh to pelt the side of her head with rapid fire elbows. She got back to her feet, and set Mara into position for a piledriver. But boos began to rain from the crowd, and she turned around to see who was causing it.

Christian: Looks like we have some company incoming, Zack. I didn’t even notice it till the fans began making noise.

Nevaeh spotted “Sensational” Stacey Sky at the top of the ramp. The former cheerleader had a scowl on her face as she merely stood alongside her manager for the time being. The momentary distraction was all Mara needed to regain the advantage. She rose up, and blasted Nevaeh with a palm thrust to the neck that sent her backwards. Werth whipped her across to the far side, and scooped her high overhead on the rebound. She turned it into a gutbuster, folding the champion in half on the canvas before she noticed Stacey watching from the stage.

Zack: Stacey may have unintentionally given Mara a chance to get her wind back, but I assure you these two are far from friends.

Christian: You got that right. They beat the hell out of each other for the Future Shock Championship in two matches that saw both of them tie the series at 1-1 between them.

Mara didn’t look at all happy to see Stacey either, but she turned her attention back to Nevaeh, who was starting to get up. Werth began throwing punches this time, connecting with a few shots to Nevaeh’s jaw before she went to send her across with an Irish whip. Nevaeh came back with a clothesline in mind, but Mara dropped into a split and caused her to miss entirely. She did a spin to get back to her feet, and Nevaeh caught her as soon as she got up with a palm strike to her face. Mara didn’t see it coming, and nearly fell backwards before Nevaeh hooked her head and gave the signal for her finisher.

Zack: I think we’ve got ourselves a GRAND FINALE coming right up after that vicious shotei from the Phoenix Champion!

Christian: If she’s gonna go for it, go for it. She can tell the fans about it later if she wants to. That just gives your opponent time to realize what’s going on.

Mara countered it though with a back body drop that dumped Nevaeh to the canvas. The brunette took off towards the ropes as Summers was getting to her feet. Nevaeh ducked a lariat from the brunette, and Mara hit the other side of the ring. Nevaeh went to catch her with a superkick, but Werth held onto the ropes instead. Nevaeh stood awkwardly for a half second before Mara pulled her into position quickly to deliver a gutwrench powerbomb and stacked her up for the cover!

Zack: Nevaeh was gonna kick her into the fourth row, but got a gutwrench powerbomb instead! There’s the cover!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NOPE.

Nevaeh kicked out in time just before the three, and Mara glanced over to see where Stacey was. The former cheerleader was still standing at the top of her ramp with her manager as the show went to split screen to show Tara Cortez watching the match elsewhere in the arena.

Christian: See there? It’s not just Stacey watching this match. Not everyone has to be on the stage though, as you can tell.

She diverted her attention back to Nevaeh, pulling her to her feet until the Phoenix Champion shoved her backwards. Mara came forward though, into a spinning backfist from Nevaeh. The Phoenix Champion grabbed her head, looking for a stunner. But Werth shoved her forwards. And as soon as Nevaeh stopped herself from hitting the ropes and turned around, Mara nailed her with her spinning knee strike that dropped her like a rock! Mara dove into the cover as Fisk dropped to count.

Zack: Nevaeh with a stu---no….WERTHWHILE!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Fisk called for the bell as Nevaeh’s shoulder came up a half second after the three landed, making it moot. Mara’s face showed elation as she sat up and realized what she had done, especially when the referee raised her hand.

Christian: That was back and forth all the way, and a very smart counter from Mara! That knee strike hurts when you see it coming, and will put your lights out if you don’t.

Kat: Your winner by pinfall……………...MARA WERTH!!

Zack: And in just her second match on the FFW roster, it looks like Mara Werth has made herself the next challenger for the Phoenix title! What a great victo--WHAT THE?!

Mara didn’t get to celebrate her victory for very long before Stacey rushed the ring. She slammed a lead pipe into the back of Mara’s leg, taking her to the mat. The angry cheerleader drove it again and again into Mara’s left knee to a chorus of boos from the fans. She glanced over to see Nevaeh getting up, and drove the business end of that lead pipe into her hurt elbow and dropped her back to the mat.

Christian: Doesn’t look like to me that Stacey considers herself done with the Phoenix Championship. I’ve seen her use that pipe before, except it was Kelly the last time.

Harley Shannon power walked down the ramp with a chair in her hand to protect her friend before Stacey rolled out to the floor. Kyle handed her the Phoenix Championship, which she admired briefly before tossing it back into the ring between the two.

Zack: The Phoenix Championship picture just got a little more crowded, and not everyone that was in it is ready to be done just yet! Thankfully Harley Shannon was also watching backstage.

Christian: Yeah, because I doubt Stacey was going to be done with either of these two without someone to stop her. It took a fleet of security practically when she went after Kelly.

Stacey soaked in the boos from the fans as Kyle praised her, and held her hand. Harley knelt next to her best friend as she and Nevaeh were starting to move again. The show then cut elsewhere.

Unraveling

Recorded at Sin & Sacrifice

Those words appear at the top of the screen when we find Amber Carano standing outside the locker room of the Gold Standard. Standing with her are Valerie and Elizabeth, on either side of their manager. It’s clear the girls aren’t long from having left the ring from their match.

Kyle: Before you even start, Amber, let me point out something. Those two women who just got pinned flat in the center of the ring? They are two Hall of Fame wrestlers, they have both achieved at a high level in their careers. And what happened? They ran into their betters tonight. Alysson and Leona got their punk cards pulled, and these two women did it for them. And if I have a say in it, they’ll be challenging for the Unity Titles again. I usually do get my say, if you haven’t noticed already.

Elizabeth pauses for a second to run her hands through her hair, catching her breath.

Elizabeth: Everyone told us that we couldn’t get it done. Everyone said that Alysson and Leona were too tough to get past. Even Starla said on the preshow that Alysson and Leona could make this an extremely difficult night for us. We just proved her and everyone else wrong.

Valerie stands with her hands resting slightly on her hips as she pauses a second as Elizabeth finishes talking.

Valerie: You guys sound surprised that we won. Guess who wasn’t? The three of us weren’t. And like it or not, we WILL be challenging for the Unity Tag Team championships.

Amber: Well that sounds like a plan, but the Wicked Storm could jump the queue when they face NHB in Sydney on the Future Shock event Tuesday. What about them?

Kyle: Oh yeah. Look, I have no problem with Vee Chandler. None whatsoever. But the simple fact is the Gold Standard? They don’t give a damn about her or the Wicked Storm. No one seems to bring up the fact that those two aren’t even under contract to FFW! For the first time ever...Elizabeth, Valerie and I are pulling for NHB to win this match, because Kristina and Michelle...I’m not sure they are ready for what follows if they jump Valerie and Elizabeth.

Valerie: Amber, have you ever heard of bad things happening to people who just keep pushing and pushing someone so far? That is precisely what is going to happen to Kristina and Michelle. To paraphrase a movie, they don’t even go here. They have zero business even being here outside of this one match in Australia.

Elizabeth: And with any luck, Kristina and Michelle can be left in the middle of the Outback somewhere. Either way, they will get theirs if they stick their noses in our business.

Amber: Lastly, Kyle, would you like to respond to the comments made by Jacqui Minogue towards you? She’s promised to pay you a visit.

Kyle: Yeah, she’s mad because I didn’t do anything when she faced Cait. She even seemed to indicate she was bringing her cousins too. Well trust me when I tell you she’s not gonna win a numbers game with me. Besides...I never touched her. She lost fair and square. So build a bridge and get the fuck over it.

Elizabeth: Getting over things is something that Jacqui seems to have a great deal of trouble with. Considering that the only person from her beloved home country that I actually can stand is Katherine, that tells you all you need to know about her.

Kyle opens the door to the locker room to let himself inside, followed by Valerie. When Elizabeth goes to grab the door, Valerie closes it instead. Amber’s eyes widen a bit as we cut back to the live show.

Kat: The following match is scheduled for one fall to a finish and it is your main event of the evening!!

Zack: Welcome back from the break, fans. Christian, we’re about to see a rematch from someone I know you know well and one of the best submission wrestlers in the world today.

Christian: Agreed on all fronts, Zack. Not to mention you couldn’t find two more different backgrounds and roads into wrestling than Emma and Cassandra.

The opening bars of “You Call Me A Bitch Like It’s A Bad Thing” begin to play through the speakers around the arena and the lights on the stage go out leaving it in darkness.

You took me to your little crib
Guess it must have been a big deal
Got me starring in your wet dream
Now it's time to get real
I'm not looking for love
No not today
But you call me up and had the nerve to say
See you next Tuesday

A white spotlight hits the centre of stage to see Cassandra Steen standing in the middle of it with her manager, Dante Knox standing slightly to the side. The crowd instantly show their disdain for the pair with a loud chorus of boos. Neither Cassandra nor Dante seem phased at all by this and in fact seem to revel in it. A smirk curling on Cassandra’s lips as she surveys the crowd.

You call me a bitch like it's a bad thing
You call me a freak like that means something
Can't get your way so you're sulking
I think we know the rest
Get it off your chest
I don't give a shit
I love it when you call me a bitch like it's a bad thing

Cassandra begins her walk down the ramp to the ring slowly with Dante walking beside her, Cassandra surveying the crowd either side of her as she does. Still she doesn’t seem particularly bothered by the less than favourable yells from the crowd as she whispers something to her manager.

Kat: Making her way to the ring, from Leeds, England, and accompanied by her manager, Dante Knox, she is ……………….CASSANDRA STEEN!

You show up everywhere I go
Get a grip you're acting so weird
I don't need your jager bombs
I think I can take it from here
You gotta learn to leave when the party ends
I don't really care what you tell your friends
Tell me again

As she reaches the ring, Cassandra climbs the steps and takes another moment to look around at the crowd as Dante holds the ropes open for her to enter between the middle and top ropes.

You call me a bitch like it's a bad thing
You call me a freak like that means something
Can't get your way so you're angry
I think we know the rest
Get it off your chest
I don't give a shit
I love it when you call me a bitch

Cassandra’s music comes to an end and as it fades out, she makes her way to her corner and leans back against the turnbuckles and rests one arm on the ropes beside her, as she shares some last minute words with her manager.

Christian: Mark my words, Zack> I’m positive this woman is gonna be in the main event picture of FFW, and a permanent fixture at that.

Zack: It’s hard to find too many women in FFW more consistently excellent in the ring than Cassandra Steen. I’m positive her longest rival, the No Surrender Champion, would not argue that in the slightest.

We have the passion of the unbroken
And our souls we will not sell
You can beat us down but when we come around
We’ll damn you all to hell.

The familiar combination of blue and black lighting heralds the entrance of Emma Mackenzie, which brings about cheers from the crowd. Ryan Mackenzie emerges first, and his wife follows on the song kicking in.

Kat: On her way to the ring from Glasgow, Scotland, please welcome EMMAAAAA MACKENZIEEEEEEEEE!!

Waiting for a sign, I guess I missed it on the way
I tried to walk the line but it's more than I could take
I get so tired of waiting; your signal's fading out
You're on the outside before you even know you're out of place

Emma starts towards the ring, seemingly avoiding any fan contact, with Ryan a step or so behind her. Reaching the bottom of the ramp, she pauses to remove the bobble from her head, then looks aat Ryan with a grin on her face.

I've had enough and your time is up
So give me something, that one thing real
And I'll say yeah, 'cause I've been going out of my head again
Just waiting for a lifeline

Emma bounces up onto the apron and crouches to enter the ring between the bottom and middle ropes, where she heads to her corner, looking out at the fans in attendance. After a moment, she hops back down to join Ryan on the canvas, and the pair talk between themselves as the music fades out.

Zack: What kind of advice do you think Ryan has given his wife before this match? And what kind of advice would you have for her?

Christian: I couldn’t tell you what Ryan has suggested to her. He and I aren’t on each other’s Secret Santa. As for me, I’d have Emma keep things at a fast clip. I’m not sure anyone is on a level above Cassandra when it comes to mat wrestling, mostly because I don’t think that level exists.

Malcolm Parks was the official in charge of the contest, telling the managers to stand in their corners before checking that the two competitors were ready for action. Cassandra at first didn’t reply to the officials question, taking a couple of moments to continue to stretch out before she finally nodded her head and the official called for the bell. As it sounded the pair began to circle each other before they finally entered into a collar and elbow tie up. Emma started to get the upper hand only for Steen to send her down to the mat with an arm drag takedown. Mackenzie hit the mat and immediately began to come back to her feet only to get a roundhouse kick to the head which saw the Scottish wrestler stagger backwards.

Christian: Had she landed that kick anywhere else during this match, it’d have put Emma down on the mat. But I don’t think she thought it would put her down, to be fair. I think that’s a setup for what she wants to do next.

Zack: You called that one, and it’s Cassandra who’s using some of the faster paced offense that you were suggesting for Emma.

Cassandra followed after her, catching her with a high knee to the chest that sent her opponent back into the ropes before Steen stepped forwards and caught the Glaswegian with a pair of European uppercuts to her jaw, following by a knee to the stomach before she Irish whipped her across the ring into the opposite ropes. As the former FFW Champion bounced off the ropes, Steen caught her with a drop toe hold that sent Mackenzie face first into the canvas. The Scottish wrestler immediately began to push up to all fours only as Steen floated over and applied a seated side headlock to her opponent. The Englishwoman locked in the hold tightly as Emma grabbed hold of her arm and started to rise to her feet, Cassandra keeping the hold locked in as she did only for the Hall of Famer to lift her up as she made it vertical and dropped Steen backwards into the canvas with a side suplex that got her the break.

Christian: You ever been in a headlock, Zack? It doesn’t look like it, but they hurt when you have someone grinding yours against your head and squeezing it too.

Zack: I’m very happy to say I’ve avoided most every wrestling hold there is, and hearing that reinforces how happy I am about that fact.

Steen rolled away and came to her feet as Emma did likewise, the pair getting to their feet simultaneously and once more started to circle each other before they stepped towards each other and went to enter into a lockup once more only for Mackenzie to catch her foe with a headbutt across the bridge of her nose. Cassandra tried to step backwards but before she could the Scot lifted her off her feet and into an inverted Atomic dropkick. It saw the brunette stagger backwards and as she did, the former FFW Champion caught her by the wrist and jerked her foe forwards three times into a trio of raised knees to her guts before grabbing hold of the brunette by the hair and delivered a single knee facebreaker to her. Cassandra staggered backwards and as she did, Mackenzie used an Irish whip to send her across and on the Englishwoman’s return left her feet to catch her with a Thesz press, sending her down to the mat; the Scot landing on top of her to pound away at her foe’s face.

Zack: Look at those fists of fury from Emma, and that’s what she does best: brawling.

Christian: It is a strongsuit for her, you’re right about that. It’s also something Cassandra wants to avoid, if at all possible, as this match wears on.

The former No Surrender Champion covered up as the referee started the count only for the veteran to grab hold of the brunette by her hair, using her grip to jerk her upwards, spinning her around and sending her across the ring with a beal. Cassandra hit the mat and immediately went to get back to her feet but only made it as far as one knee before Emma caught her with a running knee lift to her jaw. It saw Steen pop back up to her feet and reel away, holding her jaw only for the Hall of Famer to grab hold of her head once more to send Steen down to the mat with a snapmare takedown. The Leeds born wrestler held her neck with one hand as she landed in a sitting position which saw Mackenzie drive a boot into the middle of her back before she dropped down to press her knee into the back of her opponent’s neck as she interlocked her fingers beneath her jaw to apply a rear chinlock.

Zack: Seems like Ryan may have had a few suggestions far and away from what you were telling me that you’d mention to Emma.

Christian: That doesn’t surprise me. You also have to remember all those plans are well and good, but there is a great deal of improvisation too in the ring. Emma’s feeling out what she can make work for her right now.

The referee dropped down in front of the former No Surrender Champion asking her if she wanted to submit but got a ‘No’ from the Englishwoman as she began to claw at the Scot’s wrists, grabbing hold of them and started to try and separate them. Steen’s foot was kicking against the mat as she sat on the mat, the crowd booing as she tried to power out of the hold. Again she refused to submit and looked to be starting to have some success, getting what looked to be a couple of millimetres of space only for Emma to pull one of her hands away and begin to drive the point of her elbow into the top of Cassandra’s head, landing four in quick succession as she kept her hand underneath the brunette’s jaw, pulling back yet again and as the fourth blow landed Emma popped back up to her feet and unloaded with another stiff kick to her spine. It saw the Englishwoman roll to her side and towards the ropes only for Mackenzie to grab her by the hair once more, jerking her foe back up to her feet and straight into a snap DDT. Rolling her foe onto her back, Emma made the cover and hooked the leg as she did so.

Zack: Tight cover from Emma after dropping Cassandra on her head!

One…

Two…

Christian: Too early for a cover right now, neither of them are nearly worn down enough yet. They both possess excellent stamina.

Cassandra kicked out easily as the two count was made and sat straight up, holding her face for a moment as Emma looked to the referee, nodding in acceptance of the two count as she came to her feet and backed away from Steen. The Scot circled around her foe, watching as the former No Surrender Champion began to pull herself up to her knees before she stepped forwards and snapped off a stiff jab to the jaw. Three more stiff jabs followed that before she jerked Cassandra up to her feet and into a snap suplex. Steen sat up once more and again started to rise to her feet only for Mackenzie to come off the ropes once more and to put the Leeds born wrestler back on the canvas with a running neckbreaker.

Christian: Now you’re seeing Emma employ more of those quick shots like I was telling you about.

Zack: That she is, those jabs will keep anyone a little woozy and Emma immediately capitalizes from there.

Almost immediately the former No Surrender Champion started back to her feet, holding her neck as she did so only to get another snapped off jab to the jaw, rocking her head backwards momentarily. It was enough for Emma to scoop her off her feet and into a back breaker, sending her down to the canvas. Cassandra rolled onto her front as Emma dropped down to her knees on the mat, pulling Steen’s arm up into a hammerlock behind her back as her other arm reached around to apply a rear chinlock. Parks dropped down to ask the Englishwoman if she wanted to quit, getting a ‘No’, Steen shaking her head in defiance as she refused. Mackenzie wrenched her opponent’s arm a little bit further up her back. Again the official asked the question, getting another shake of the head in response as the Leeds native started to push her feet forwards, powering up to her knees.

Zack: Do you think Emma is trying to show up Cassandra by going for a submission here, given her background?

Christian: No, I don’t think so. She knows better, because when you are focused on trying to embarrass an opponent, it tends to backfire on you.

The hammerlock and chinlock remained applied as the pair began to rise, Cassandra getting to her feet and attempted to fire her free elbow backwards into her opponent’s head. Emma though avoided it easily. Steen went to throw another back elbow and as Emma shifted position to stay away from it, the Leeds born grappler raised her foot and stomped down on the Scot’s foot, it didn’t cause her to let go but it distracted her long enough for Cassandra to reverse out of the move and apply a hammerlock herself. The brunette, wrenched Mackenzie’s arm up behind her back as far as she possibly could and began to paintbrush slap the back of her head as the Hall of Famer held her shoulder for a moment. A look of anger flashed over Mackenzie’s face as the slaps connected with the back of her head but before she could try and reverse the hold in her favour, Cassandra shoved her forwards.

Zack: Cassandra’s starting to get under Emma’s skin here with those slaps to her head. And you can see it’s working.

Christian: I think you called that one on the nose, Zack. But to be fair, getting on Emma’s nerves isn’t exactly difficult.

Mackenzie immediately spun around and looked to catch the submission specialist with a discus forearm only for Steen to telegraph it, ducking underneath it. Emma continued to spin and again came face to face with the Leeds born wrestler, which immediately saw Cassandra step smartly backwards a couple of steps only for the Glaswegian to launch herself forwards. As she did so, Steen caught her coming forwards, lifting her up off her feet and dropped her with a stun gun over the top rope. Emma reeled backwards, gasping for breath as she did so and turned towards the Yorkshire woman who drove a leaping knee strike into the underside of her jaw which saw Mackenzie stagger as her legs almost gave out beneath her. Before they could, though, Steen grabbed hold of her wrist and Irish whipped her across the ring into the corner, Emma hitting the turnbuckles hard, spine first.

Zack: Cassandra’s using the corner like a tag partner, and hitting them like Emma just did will certainly slow you down in a match.

Christian: I can speak from experience on that. Any shot to the spine will almost always freeze you up. Every shot is almost like being a car crash for your spine with the impact.

Cassandra didn’t give her foe a moment to recover before she took off after her and drove a two footed dropkick into her chest. Steen hit the mat on her back and rolled to the side, popping up to her face albeit with a grimace as she held her back for second before leaving her feet once more as she delivered a high knee into the Scotswoman’s chest. Steen landed on her feet and quickly skipped backwards to the middle of the ring only to break into a sprint and catch Emma with a big boot in the corner. Again Cassandra spun away as Emma hung in the corner, the Yorkshire born woman measuring her up for a second before she lowered her shoulder and drove four quick shoulder thrusts into Emma’s midriff as the referee called for the break and started the count.

Zack: The target looks like it’s going to be Emma’s back, and Cassandra is doing some corner work here.

Christian: The reason wrestlers use the corner so much, Zack, is because it’s awfully hard to counter or do much when your opponent is practically in your face.

He made it four before the former No Surrender Champion backed away, pulling her foe out of the corner by the wrist and towards the middle of the ring where the brunette raised her boot, placing against her jaw and delivered an inverted stomp facebreaker. The former FFW Champion was unsteady on her feet only for Steen to jerk her down face first to the canvas where she quickly moved and locked in a fujiwara armbar on the Scotswoman. Parks dropped down and asked the Hall of Famer if she wanted to quit, getting a ‘No’ and a shake of the head. It caused Cassandra to push up onto her toes and wrench further back on the limb, applying more pressure as she did so. Yet again the referee asked and got another ‘No’ from the Scot which saw Steen move one hand from Emma’s wrist to grip hold of her foes fingers and started to bend them backwards at an awkward angle. It caused the Hall of Famer to grimace in pain, gripping her hair with her other hand as she refused to quit.

Zack: As if that armbar wasn’t excruciating enough, the “Corporate Killer” is working over her fingers at the same time.

Christian: Notice how she’s only going so far with the joint manipulation? She wants to take Emma to the brink of breaking them. Without doing it, because it’s a well she can draw from anytime in the match she needs to.

Despite the refusal, the official asked once more, getting another refusal as Mackenzie used her free hand to push upwards and inch herself sideways before she stretched out towards the bottom rope. Again Emma pushed upwards, inching both her and her opponent towards the ropes before she collapsed down again, stretching out and just managed to hook her fingertips over the bottom rope. The referee called for the break but didn’t get it as Cassandra continued to wrench the left arm backwards in it’s socket while continuing to torture the fingers. Finally Steen let go as the referee’s count made it to four. Emma quickly clutched her hand against her chest, keeping it underneath her body. The crowd booed as Steen came to her feet, grabbed hold of the top rope and began to stomp away at the Scotswoman’s body; the referee again called for the break and started the count, getting to four before Steen stepped back with her hands raised as Emma slid out underneath the bottom rope to the outside, still holding her hand against her.

Christian: If she had broken her fingers there, doing what she did to them wouldn’t have as much success because they’d be fractured. She just wants to torture that hand.

Zack: Makes sense to me. You can see how well it worked, because Emma wants to get some feeling back in that hand right now.

Before Parks could stop her, Cassandra stepped through the ring ropes, measured Emma up before she strode down the apron and looked to drive her boot into the Glaswegian’s face with a punt kick only for Mackenzie to duck underneath the attempt, sweeping out Steen’s standing foot as she did so. The Leeds native hit the apron back first hard, her eyes going wide as the breath was driven out of her body and Emma started to slam elbows into her chest in rapid fire fashion. Ten elbows were delivered quickly before the former FFW Champion pulled on Cassandra’s hair, dragging her into position so that her head was overhanging the ring apron and staring at the floor. The Scot drove a jumping raised knee into Cassandra’s face before she moved towards the ring steps, Emma jogging up them and onto the apron, not breaking stride as she took two steps forwards and launched herself into a guillotine leg drop across the back of her head. Sending Steen slumping to the floor as the Hall of Famer was sitting on the apron.

Zack: Emma came back with a vengeance there, and this is a location where she’s quite happy to continue this match.

Christian: You’re right. If I’m Dante, I’m encouraging Cassandra to get back into the ring as soon as possible. She doesn’t want to be ringside with someone like Emma.

Laying back Mackenzie rolled into the ring and straight back out, pulling the Steen upwards to her feet only to drive her spine first into the crowd barricade. Four more shoulder thrusts using her right shoulder followed as Emma drove her spine into the barrier fiercely before pulling her foe away, spinning her around and hurling her down to the floor with a release belly to belly suplex. Cassandra sat up on impact, her face racked with pain as she held her back with one hand as Mackenzie took a second or two before she started to come upright, pulling Steen up with her and rolled her back into the ring underneath the bottom rope. Cassandra rolled all the way across the ring to the opposite ropes and used them to pull herself up to her feet looking out towards the crowd as she did. The crowd cheered loudly as Emma walked towards her, stalking her and the moment that Cassandra was vertical, Mackenzie crashed a forearm into her lower back. Three more followed that before Emma spun Cassandra around and unloaded on her with a trio of European uppercuts that snapped the Leeds natives head backwards before she pulled her two steps away from the ropes and into a jawbreaker, sending Steen back into the ropes.

Zack: Emma rattled a few molars with that jawbreaker, and Cassandra was nearly sent through the ropes back to the floor.

Christian: She didn’t go through them though, so that’s a good thing. I couldn’t begin to tell you what Dante would tell her, but if it’s me, stay in the ring first and foremost.

The Glaswegian popped back up to her feet and fired Cassandra across the ring, catching her on the return with a pop up powerbomb. Emma held her left shoulder as she dropped down and made the cover on her opponent.

Zack: What impact from Emma! And that might do it!

...THR-

Christian: She didn’t hook the leg right there, and I’m not saying it’d have made a difference right here. But that’s something every aspiring wrestler should still go for with every cover.

Cassandra kicked out and found herself pulled up to her feet and found herself on the receiving end of a barrage of knees before she dropped back to the nearest ring ropes, using them to fire herself back towards her foe and leapt into the air to deliver a superman punch to the side of Steen’s head, dropping her down to her knees. A second later Cassandra tried to push herself up from the canvas but only got as far as one knee before Emma sent her down to the mat with a running bit boot to the side of her head. The Leeds born native rolled to the side and started to try and pull herself up to her feet once again only to be helped upright by Mackenzie who drove her straight down into the canvas with an STO. Cassandra’s back arched off the canvas before she rolled over and Emma quickly took up position on her back to lock in a camel clutch, pulling back as much as she could on her opponent’s head as she sat as low as possible on her back. Parks immediately dropped down to ask the Englishwoman if she wanted to quit and got a ‘No’ from her.

Zack: It takes so much to make Cassandra tap out during a match. If you don’t believe that, just ask Lilly Arthur.

Christian: When I train talent, I don’t emphasize submissions as much as some. Not because I don’t believe in them, but you can win a match a lot faster by pinfall than submission.

Mackenzie continued to pull back on her foes head, the refereeing asking the question once more of the trapped former No Surrender Champion who again told him ‘No’ as she tried to wiggle and squirm in the hold, managing to slip one arm off her foes leg as Emma let go of her opponent’s head with her left hand but only so she could begin to drive her elbow into Cassandra’s neck and shoulder. Steen cried out in pain only to cut it off, not wanting to give Emma the pleasure, screwing her face up tightly instead. As the former FFW Champion went to re-apply the camel clutch, Cassandra caught her left hand and jerked on the fingers, bending them back suddenly and painfully. It caused Emma to let go of the submission hold and roll away, holding her hand against her body once more.

Zack: Cassandra’s focus on Emma’s hand earlier has been paying dividends in this match. Those fingers are still bothering her.

Christian: That’s because the bones in the fingers aren’t exactly thick and super strong. So it doesn’t take as much to make them hurt for quite a while.

The pair came to their feet simultaneously and Emma started towards her opponent only for Cassandra to step towards, planting her foot as she threw a huge, stinging open handed slap to Emma’s chest; the sound of the blow cutting through the noise of the crowd. Mackenzie took a step back and immediately pressed a hand to her chest only for Steen to step forwards once more and delivered another huge open handed slap to the chest. This time the former FFW Champion just stood there and took it, wincing from the blow. Three more followed in quick succession from the Leeds born wrestler, Emma taking each one before she let out a roar, slapped her chest herself and told her foe to do it again and give it everything. Steen glared at her for a moment before she took half a step back, reared back with her hand raised and connected so heavily with the open handed slap that it dropped Mackenzie to one knee.

Zack: Well Emma told her to lay it in as hard as she could.

Christian: She did, and she’s using that as further motivation. I’m not sure I’d take her up on it though.

It was only momentary though before the Hall of Fame wrestler popped straight back up to her feet and began to fire off a frenzied series of knife edge chops into the Englishwoman’s body. Each blow driving Cassandra back towards the ropes before the Leeds native managed to catch hold of her foe’s left hand and again viciously bent her fingers backwards. It caused Emma let out a momentary cry of pain before Cassandra delivered a kick between her legs. Parks immediately started to reprimand Steen for the low blow, giving her a first final warning as he threatened her with disqualification only to see Cassandra drive her opponent face first into the canvas with a sit-out facebuster.

Zack: Cassandra working those fingers was clearly a brilliant strategy, because it keeps paying off.

Christian: You’re right about that. Cassandra is a highly intelligent woman, and she knows what she’s doing in there.

Steen took a moment, holding her back before she rolled to the side, grabbed hold of the ring ropes and pulled herself upright, stepping away from Emma as the Scot was pushing herself up to one knee at which point Cassandra skipped towards her and unloaded with a low superkick that saw her drive the sole of her boot into her foe’s ear. Mackenzie fell forwards, catching herself on all fours which saw the former No Surrender Champion stomp down on her opponent’s left hand, grinding it underneath her boot. The referee told her break and started the count when Cassandra refused to raise her foot, getting to four before the Leeds born wrestler leapt into the air and delivered a curb stomp that drove Emma face first into the canvas. Mackenzie rolled onto her front and the Yorkshirewoman spun before launching herself into a standing moonsault. She landed it perfectly and hooked the leg for the cover.

Zack: Steen getting aerial all of a sudden, and there’s the leg hook you mentioned!

One…

...THR-

Christian: Close. Very close. The leg hook gives you additional leverage since your leg is usually the heaviest appendage you have.

Emma kicked out before the three count could be completed and Cassandra only gave the referee a cold glare as he showed the two count, the brunette coming back to her feet where she waved her opponent upwards, letting her only get as far as one knee before she caught her with a shining wizard to the side of the head. Steen immediately came back to her feet, pulling her foe upwards and into a spike DDT. Mackenzie rolled away, holding her head as she did so and slowly started to force her way upwards, only managing to get as far as all fours before Cassandra hauled her up onto her feet, wrapping one arm over her shoulder, her other hooked her leg as she reached to lock her fingers together and then lifted the Glaswegian off her feet and slammed her down into the canvas with the Regal-plex, keeping the leg hooked for the cover as it landed.

Zack: Flawless execution from Cassandra, but is it enough?

One…

...THRE--

Christian: Emma has such a high tolerance for punishment, having been in this business as long as she has.

Mackenzie kicked out of the pinfall before the three count could be completed and immediately Cassandra attempted to transition into a crucifix armbar on the Scot, wrenching on her left arm by the wrist. Emma, though, attempted to block the move by grabbing hold of her left arm with her right. Steen continued to jerk on her arm even as she began to slam her leg down across her foe’s face in an effort to break her grip so that she can pull her arm straight to lock in the hold. The Glaswegian’s grip remained vice-like as she tried to ignore the leg strikes across her face and instead rolled towards the former No Surrender Champion, looking to score a pinfall but before she could, the Leeds born competitor relinquished her attempts to apply the hold as she instead grabbed hold of Emma’s top, planting a knee into her chest and used a modified monkey flip to yank the Scot forwards and sent her sprawling throat first into the middle rope. Emma bounced off the rope and instinctively started to come back to her feet and as she did so, the Englishwoman stood up, hooked her opponent’s arms and pulled her down into a backslide pinning combination.

Christian: People underestimate the physics of the backslide, she might get the win here!

One…

...THR--

Zack: It was just a heartbeat from the bell sounding right there for Cassandra.

Emma kicked out of the pinning combination, rolling head over heels to land on her knees as Steen gave the referee another cold look and a solitary nod of the head as he showed her the two. The Leeds native came quickly to her feet and as her foe made it back to a vertical base, Cassandra caught her with a stiff kick to her midsection, allowing the Yorkshirewoman to grab hold of the former FFW Champion and drive her down into the canvas with the Insider Trading Cradle DDT, slamming her into the mat and immediately rolling over into the cover, hooking both legs as she did so.

Zack: INSIDER TRADING!! I think Cassandra’s got this!

...THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!NNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Christian: For a second, I thought the same thing, Zack. Emma got out in less time than it takes to blink.

Cassandra shook her head as she knelt over Mackenzie looking over to the referee who was showing the two count to the former No Surrender Champion; the Glaswegian having gotten her shoulder up from the canvas at the last possible second. The brunette asked for the three and as she got the two count confirmed once more she started to fire off closed fist right hands into Emma’s forehead. Parks demanded the break and started to use the count, reaching four before Steen grabbed hold of Emma’s hair and pulled her upright as she rose to her feet. As soon as they were vertical, Cassandra went to apply the cobra clutch, setting up for the Hostile Takeover but as she moved behind her, the Scot reached back to grab her head and dropped to the canvas with a cutter; Steen bouncing away and landing on her back as Emma lay out on the canvas.

Zack: What a fantastic counter from Emma right there! But she can’t follow up on it!

Christian: You can’t really blame her for that, can you? Emma wasn’t looking to win right there. She was looking to buy herself a few seconds.

The pair started to rise, the two of them getting back to their feet at the same time and immediately Emma charged towards Cassandra, catching her with a running knee to the gut. Four more followed it in quick succession before Emma stepped backwards but only so that she could jerk her opponent into a short arm clothesline that put the Leeds born grappler down to the canvas. Almost immediately Steen started to push up from the canvas where she found her head hooked and driven into the mat yet again - this time face first with a bulldog. Again it only seemed to keep Cassandra down for a moment as the brunette started to push upwards, trying to get to her feet and as she did so, Emma watched her rise before the former FFW Champion hopped up onto the middle rope and launched herself backwards into a disaster kick that dropped her opponent. The Hall of Famer landed on her feet and instantly pulled her foe upwards from the canvas, pulling her back towards the middle of the ring where she grabbed hold of her tights, lifting her feet off the canvas before she slammed her down into the mat with a lifting reverse DDT. Quickly Mackenzie made the cover, hooking both of her foe’s legs as she did so.

Zack: Emma planted Steen with that one, and both legs this time!

One…

...THRE--

Zack: Closest fall she’s had so far, and had both legs like you said. That’s even more leverage than one obviously.

Cassandra’s shoulder came up off the mat and Emma nodded in acceptance of the official’s decision, slowly coming to her feet and pulling Steen up with her before delivering a headbutt to the Leeds born native. A second headbutt followed before Mackenzie fired her opponent across the ring with all her strength into the corner. The Englishwoman hit the turnbuckle pads hard spine first and staggered forwards out of the corner and straight into a busaiku knee strike to her jaw. Steen spun to the side before she dropped like a stone to the canvas. Emma rose back to her feet quickly and headed towards the corner herself, pulling herself up to the top rope and launched herself backwards into a moonsault. It landed perfectly and Emma hooked the leg as she made the cover again.

Zack: A picture perfect moonsault from the heavens, and Emma’s gonna pick up the win tonight!

One…

Two…

...THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!NNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Christian: She’s so close. This is, traditionally, when Emma will get even more determined where some wrestlers get frustrated.

Cassandra’s shoulder came up in the nick of time and she rolled over onto her front, holding her back with one hand. Emma asked the official for the three count but had the two confirmed and she nodded her head as she came to her feet. She drove a stomp downwards into the small of her opponent’s back before she reached down to grab hold of Steen’s legs and applied the Back to Hell boston crab variant. As Emma applied the submission she pulled back as far as she possibly could to apply as much pressure as she could. Parks slid into position in front of Steen, asking her if she wanted to quit and getting a ‘No’ from the Yorkshirewoman, even as her hands scrabbled at the mat then ran through her hair in pain. Still she shook her head as the referee asked. Emma leaned back a little further as the submission still wasn’t forthcoming.

Zack: We’ve talked about how hard it is to get Cassandra to quit, and Emma’s back to searching for that tap out now.

Christian: You’re right, and it also gives her a few seconds to get herself together. It doesn’t take much effort to hold a Boston crab. Just need a tight grip.

The No Surrender Champion still refused to submit and started to use all her experience as a submission wrestler to push upwards on the palm of her hands, twisting her body towards her foe as did so and grabbed hold of her foe’s ankle. Emma started to stand up in an effort to re-apply the hold but instead Cassandra countered, using all the leg and core strength she could muster as she jerked her ankle backwards to send her off balance and falling face first into the mat as she applied an ankle lock. Parks shifted position quickly and asked Emma if she wanted to quit, getting a loud ‘No’ and a defiant shake of her head as she began to pull herself forwards on the canvas and reached out to grab hold of the bottom rope with both hands. Immediately the referee called for the break and was forced into using the count, getting to four before he received the break.

Zack: Steen is milking every second of that count, trying to get as much out of this hold as humanly possible.

Christian: True enough, and let’s be honest. Emma would do the exact same thing if the roles were reversed.

Emma held onto the ropes for a couple of seconds as Cassandra held her back. Mackenzie started to use the ropes, pulling herself upwards and getting to her feet first and turning to step towards Steen, bending down to pull her upright once more only for Cassandra to jerk her down into a small package.

Zack: Cassandra’s gonna sneak out the win right here!

...THRE--

Christian: I can’t think of a time I ever saw someone surprise Emma like that and still win. Too many years, too many matches for that, I think.

Emma kicked out and both wrestlers came back to their feet at the same time. As they did so, Steen launched herself into a bicycle knee strike that caught the Hall of Famer perfectly on the jaw and turned her legs to jelly. As Mackenzie struggled to stay upright, Cassandra didn’t waste any time at all in slamming her down into the ring mat with the Hostile Takeover cobra clutch driver, hooking her leg as she made the cover once more.

Zack: HOSTILE TAKEOVER!! That’s gonna do it!

...THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Christian: Right you are, Zack. Right you are.

The referee called for the bell and Cassandra pushed up to her knees, holding her back for a moment before she rose to her feet while Dante climbed the ring steps and stepped through the ropes.

Kat: Here is your winner, by way of pinfall… CASSANDRA STEEN!!!!

Zack: Cassandra pulled out the victory once again, but I’d say she had a much tougher fight of it this time than the last one.

Christian: Of course, she did, Zack. Emma learns from every match,a s any wrestler should. If it’s easier in the rematch, you’ve done something wrong.

Zack: Fans, the Sydney Supershow is this Tuesday night on FFW All Access!! Don’t you dare miss the biggest night of the year for Future Shock!

The official raised her hand as Emma rolled out of the ring under the ropes, holding her jaw with her right hand, keeping her left against her body where Ryan checked on her. Dante raised her hand once more, applauding her happily even as the crowd booed her. Cassandra looked non-plus with the crowd response as she found the camera and made the title belt motion around her waist, telling her sister she’d prove that she was truly the Better Steen soon enough as the show faded off the air.
