Live from the Future Shock Arena in Boston, Massachusetts
November 16, 2021

The limousine pulls up outside of a bank somewhere in Boston before the driver opens the door to let Cait Flanagan and Kyle Kilmeade out. She takes his arm, and heads inside and is immediately escorted to a vault filled with stacks of money. But she notices one pedestal set aside for the title she wants most. “Legendary” by Skillet begins to play as someone dashes past the camera, and the pair look out to see whoever it is with the Future Shock Championship.

My heart bleeds adrenaline
The fire I breathe is where I live

It turns out to be Luna Cortez, who darts out of the bank and around a corner at top speed with it in her hands. She doesn’t get far before Anna trips her up, and takes the title away from her with a shake of her head. As she’s looking down at her sister with annoyance, the title gets lifted out of her hand before the woman holding it ducks into a parked car and starts it up. The driver is Jacqui Minogue.

Top, to the top
Ain't never gonna stop
To the top, to the top
Ain't never gonna stop

Jacqui speeds through the streets of Boston till she runs into a familiar woman holding up traffic by standing in the middle of the crosswalk. Jacqui looks closer, and sees it’s Shaughnessy O’Neill who makes a beeline for her car. Minogue locks the doors and rolls up the window before someone else rises up from the backseat...that being Alessandra Esposito. She snatches the title out of the passenger seat, and bolts from the car onto the crowded sidewalks. She only gets so far before she’s spotted. Cait, Jacqui, and Shaw close in on her before a car honks to get her attention. She hops into the Italian sports car, leaving her pursuers in the dust..

Never gonna keep me down (never keep me)
Still the one that's standing now (never falling)
Destiny is calling me
Go down in history
Every day I'll fight to be
Legendary

Watching out the window of one of the nearby buildings at the plight of the would-be champions is a very amused Angelina and Arabella before the show cuts live inside the Future Shock Arena. The fans roar as the show goes live, and sparklers shoot around the stage all the way down the ramp until another burst shoots from the ring posts. The camera shows the Future Shock logo on the ring mat before cutting to Zack and Claire at ringside.

Zack: Global Wars is the theme for tonight in Boston, and we welcome you back to Future Shock at the Future Shock Arena. Thank you for joining us as we hand out Global Wars points AND see who will head to Crossed Out to challenge for the new FFW Pure Championship. We are fresh off two shows where every title in Future Shock changed but one, that belonging to River Campbell. So tonight, to me, feels like a new era about to start.

Claire: Given that it’s a new era and feels very much like a passing of the torch moment, it’s only fair, I guess, that in the main event we’ll find out Future Shock’s challenger for the Pure Championship in what will be a technical classic and unlike almost anything we’ve seen in a Future Shock ring before.

Zack: There could be upsets on the horizon in more than one match tonight, and that will include a return match between Jacqui Minogue and Jamie Winters. With Jacqui’s current spot as mandatory challenger for the Future Shock Championship, a win tonight would be massive for Jamie. Not to mention Jacqui will have the added pressure of wanting to retake the lead she now shares with River in Global Wars.

Claire: That’s the truth. In some ways, Jacqui just needs to forget all about it, focus on her gameplan and what has been working for her, trust that it’ll keep working and keep her atop the standings. There’s a reason that she’s the number one contender to the Future Shock Championship after all. For Jamie this could certainly strap a rocket to her back...if she can even up the score. She’s been getting better and better with every match but it’s still one heck of a mountain to climb.

Zack: In a match that has all the earmarks needed to steal the show, Mikayla Stone will meet the veteran Valerie McFarlane. That could be another upset, like I was saying, if Mikayla scores a win over a FFW Hall of Famer, much less keeps her from putting Scotland on the board in Global Wars.

Claire:  Mikayla certainly has all the tools to do so and is definitely one of Future Shock’s hottest rising stars after her reign as the Nova Champion. But you feel as though she might have to step her game up a little more as she meets one of the most decorated veterans in all Future Shock. And I’m sure the Final Boss wouldn’t have it any other way.

Zack: Then we have our main event, Claire. It’ll be the first ever Pure Rules match in Future Shock history as Arabella finds herself in a similar position to Mikayla, like we just discussed. She’ll be meeting Shaw one on one for the first time ever. Not only is that match at Crossed Out on the line for both ladies, Arabella would love to start padding England’s score in Global Wars. Meanwhile, Shaw’s focus is continuing to make history as she’s done throughout her career.

Claire: Yes she would but this is going to be possibly the toughest match of Arabella’s career. We know that Shaw is one of the most confident, arrogant women in the company but she’s earned the right to be exactly that. And this is arguably the reason she came to Future Shock. But this is a match neither of them have competed in before and if Arabella pulls out all the stops there’s no reason that she can’t be the latest member of one of the most exclusive clubs in wrestling by beating the cocky Quebecois and advancing to Crossed Out.

Zack: We’re gonna hear from the new Nova Champion tonight as well. Luci ended the 347 day reign of Luna Cortez two weeks ago, and I’m sure she’s probably over the moon about it. Luci pretty much called her shot from the day she arrived.

Claire: Luci has every right to be delighted after claiming the Nova Championship two weeks ago and beating a Champion who seemed damned near unbeatable.

Zack: And no rest for Luci at all since winning the title. She’s going to be part of the spotlight match at Crossed Out when she defends it against Angelina Fantastica. We know the Shaolin Stunna had some trouble trying to get past Luna as champion. I don’t think it’s going to be any easier against Luci at Crossed Out in her first defense.

Claire: Not in the slightest, but Angelina has shown that she can be a real force to be reckoned with and has picked up some huge wins this year. There’s no reason why the former Future Shock Tag Team Champion can’t do it again at Crossed Out and claim the Nova Championship. She’ll certainly be challenging Luci and asking her some of the most difficult questions of her career.

Zack: There’s a lot on our plate tonight, so let’s send it up to Lexi and get the action underway.

The shot changes to the ring showing the blonde exhibitionist in a blood red short dress. She beams at the response from the fans before she begins the opening introductions.

Lexi: The opening contest of Future Shock is scheduled for one fall to a finish.

The sitars and the electronic beat of t+pazolite’s “Magic Raffles” blare through the sound system as the stage is covered in dry ice fog. From the back, in a soft sprint, comes the “Magical Girl” Jamie Winters holding on to her magician’s hat, greeting the crowd with a big smile. She spins on her heels and strikes a pose as playing cards starts raining from the stage and the lights blink in white and baby blue. She then starts skipping down the entrance ramp to the beat of her song, sharing high-fives with the people who have their hands extended out to her, and stopping to give rabbit stickers to the children in the audience, that she “generates” using her magic tricks.

Lexi: Introducing first… From Lowell, Massachusetts… JAMIE WINTERS!!!

Finally, she reaches the ring, hopping onto the ring apron and then hovering in though the second rope. She quickly hops onto the bottom rope and leans on the top rope, flashing her playing cards with her rabbit stickers on them, before throwing those cards into the crowd and finally hopping down to the ring.

Zack: Jamie Winters has some history with Jacqui. If you recall, Jacqui tried to take her out of wrestling some time back because Winters had outside interests that weren’t all about wrestling. And what a terrible thing that is, I suppose.

Claire: Jacqui managed to put her on the shelf for a little while but Jamie bounced back in a huge way to get herself in line for the Diamond Championship and tonight she could very well stick a huge feather in her cap by evening up the score with the Australian.

As the intro of “Superstar” by 95 TurboSol blares into the arena, generating thunderous reaction from the crowd, a lightshow of blue and white lights ignites the stage area and ramp and flashes continuously across both areas, bearing a striking resemblance of a futuristic spaceship setting. At the same time, smoke emerges from the bottom of the stage and fills the area.

Then, as the song begins, Jacqui Minogue emerges through the smoke and stands on stage, her hands on her hips as she scans through the environment and eventually the ring while the crowd continues to shower her with their reaction.

Lexi: Making her way to the ring, representing The Matriarchy...weighing 140 pounds…from Melbourne, Australia…She is “The Perfect Storm”…JACQUI MINOGUE!!!!!

Jacqui then comes down the ramp toward the ring with her arms extended outward and sporting a cocky demeanor. When she reaches the ringside area, she stands there taking in the atmosphere of the arena as the fans continue to show their reactions. She then climbs up the apron, wipes her feet on the apron, and enters the ring, Jacqui strides towards two opposite ring posts in where she climbs up and extends her arms out and then shortly shows off her trademark triangle hand signal, to represent her faction, all while looking on with a smirk and posing to the crowd with complete confidence. She’s taking in the atmosphere while the crowd reaction continues and the cameras flashing.

After going through her ritual, Jacqui climbs down and makes her way towards the corner to take off her jacket and then readies herself as she waits for the match to begin.

Zack: The mandatory challenger for the Future Shock Championship, I’m not 100% sure where Jacqui stands of late, Claire. She’s come after Cait and Kyle, which may have earned her some new fans. Is it possible we are seeing a change in Jacqui?

Claire: I’m not sure if it’s so much a change in Jacqui as it is that Kyle and Cait got under her skin, feels like they disrespected her and she wants a measure of revenge. Kyle and Cait might well regret playing their tricks on this woman.

Referee Ashley Pruitt calls for the bell after Lexi is out of the ring, and Jacqui heads to the center. Jamie bounces on the balls of her feet in the corner, seemingly loosening up still before the brunette heads towards her. When she tries to land a shot though, Jamie ducks out of the way and ends up behind her prior to a flurry of kicks to Jacqui’s back lands. Jamie shoves her chest first into the corner before she can turn around, and immediately delivers a backstabber before floating over for the cover quickly.

Zack: Jamie looking to end it in record time!

ONE!

Jacqui shoved her off the cover immediately as the one count landed, and Jamie was back to her feet in a flash. The Aussie didn’t have time to get up before Jamie was firing kicks into her ribs rapidly and then grabbing her head to deliver a springboard bulldog.

Claire: Jamie might have been getting a little bit ahead of herself trying to end it early but credit to the Magician for staying on the powerful Australian and not giving her the chance to launch any offence.

The magician’s speed picked up from there as she darted for the far side, and rebounded as Jacqui was getting back to her feet. A running dropkick to Minogue’s back sent her into the ropes just before Jamie hopped over the top rope and snapped Jacqui’s neck across the rope. She landed on her feet ringside as the Aussie staggered with her hands to her throat, and Winters leapt onto the apron and used the top rope for a slingshot senton before hooking the leg as she landed for the cover.

Zack: What incredible agility, and Jamie’s looking for the upset again!

ONE!!!

T-NO.

Claire: Jacqui’s kicked out but with what we’re seeing from Jamie, the Australian’s not got a clue where the next shot is coming from! It’s impossible to defend against.

Jacqui kicked out as the two was on the way down, and Jamie got back to her feet quickly. The Aussie was beginning to get up again until Jamie bounced off the near side with a scissor kick that stumbled Minogue. She followed that up with a double underhook DDT before looking for the cover again.

Claire: More big offence!! Jamie’s looking to put this one to bed again and she might just have it here!!

ONE!!!

TW-NOO!!

Yet again, Minogue got her shoulder off the mat in time. The Boston crowd was chanting Jamie’s name as she darted towards the corner and made her ascent to the top rope.

Zack: Three near falls and no answer from the “Perfect Storm!” Jamie’s looking to go airborne!

Winters peered between her legs before launching into a moonsault. Jacqui stepped forward though, causing the magician to land on her feet behind her. The Aussie blasted her with a discus clothesline as soon as she landed that put Jamie down with ease. Minogue scowled at the magician as she pulled herself together after the opening offensive. When she spotted the blue-haired girl starting to get up, a leg drop across the back of her head stopped that. She then pulled her arms behind her on the mat, and started stomping the back of her head repeatedly. Seven times her foot landed on Jamie before the eighth one was more of a curb stomp to drive her face into the mat.

Zack: Jamie got under Jacqui’s skin in a very short amount of time, and you can see the look on her face that proves it.

Claire: Yes she has, she’s poked the bear and Minogue could be looking to give her a concussion or break a couple of bones.

She got Jamie to her feet, and shoved her into the ropes. Winters bounced forward just as Jacqui scooped her up for a sidewalk slam facebuster. She got back to her feet, watching the magician again before darting forward with a rolling neck snap to keep her on the canvas. Minogue scooped her around the waist into a gutwrench suplex before floating across her to make the cover.

Zack: Textbook gutwrench suplex, and the #1 contender to Cait’s title is ready to be done with the Magical Girl.

ONE!!

TW-NO.

Jamie got her shoulder up before the two was about to touch the mat, and the Aussie got back to her feet. She dragged Jamie up with her, and fired her into the far corner. She followed her in with a running European uppercut before sending her up and over with an exploder suplex out of the corner.

Claire: Jacqui is using every ounce of power that she’s got in her body to punish Jamie here but Winters is hanging in there.

Minogue stomped the back of her head a few times, and scooped Jamie up into a vertical suplex position. But she held her up there for some time, showing off her considerable strength as she walked around the ring with Jamie still held upside down. After several seconds, she finally delivered the vertical suplex and rose back to her feet. She pulled her back up again, this time into a fireman’s carry neckbreaker. Minogue dropped to the mat, plunging both hands in Jacqui’s chest for the cover as Pruitt fell to count.

Zack: Jacqui’s looking for the bell, and Jamie’s in major trouble!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOO!!!

T-NOPE.

Winters kicked out though, and Jacqui slowly got back to her feet. She glanced over to the referee, who showed her it was only two. And then, she pulled the magician back to her feet by the head. She fired her across to the far corner, letting her crash back first into the corner. When she followed her in for a running elbow smash though, she caught a face full of Jamie’s foot.

Claire: If Jacqui had hooked the leg in the cover this one could be over. Instead she just got a face full of boot leather and this is the opening Jamie badly needed to get herself back into this match.

It stunned the Aussie for a half second, and Jamie was quickly trying to pull herself together. Minogue went to blast her with a right hand, but Winters avoided the contact by grabbing that hand and dropped Jacqui with an inverted stomp facebreaker that put them both on the mat. The ten count began, but Jamie sat up at three and was taking in deep breaths as she tried to recuperate as quickly as possible.

Zack: Very well executed by Jamie, who is now trying to get her marbles together after enduring a hell of an onslaught from Jacqui.

Claire: It’s imperative that she gets her breath and gets back to what was working earlier - exploiting her speed advantage to hit her hard and hit her fast.

The Magical Girl got back to her feet finally, and saw Jacqui starting to do the same. She peppered her with right hands to the head followed by a jawbreaker that staggered the Aussie backwards. Winters took off for the far side as Minogue was turning around, and left her feet for a flying headscissors into a DDT that spiked Jacqui on top of her head. She scaled the corner once again, wasting no time in launching herself into a shooting star press for the cover!

Zack: A shooting star press from the heavens, and Jamie’s about to join the conversation for the biggest title in Future Shock!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEE-NOO!!

Jacqui’s arm came up in time, almost letting the air out of the arena for the fans who thought Jamie had won the match. The magician double checked with the referee as she got to her feet, and used the nearby ropes for a springboard into a double stomp to the Aussie’s back.

Claire: So close for the Magician! She keeps this up and there’ll be a new, fresh face challenging for the richest title in Future Shock!!

Jacqui’s hand clutched her back where Jamie’s feet landed before the Magical Girl headed for the corner to make her way up top again. The hometown crowd in Boston  was roaring her name now as she made her way up, smiling at the response until Jacqui kicked the top rope. It caused Winters to lose her balance, and land straddling the top turnbuckle. The centerpiece of the Matriarchy moved towards her in pain before climbing up with her to deliver a superplex that bounced them both off the mat. But Minogue bounced over her to make the cover.

Zack: Devastating impact off the superplex! Stick a fork in Jamie, she’s done!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NO!

Winters’ shoulder popped up at the last possible second to stop the count, and Jacqui’s eyes shot up to look at the referee with a mix of pain and disbelief. She got back to her feet, and dragged her thumb across her neck before she circled, waiting for Jamie to get up again.

Claire: I think that was pure instinct on Jamie’s part and she might come to regret it if the look on Jacqui’s face is anything to go by.

Winters was pretty slow to get up though after everything she had endured. She finally did though, and Jacqui stayed behind her. She scooped her up onto her shoulders into position for her finisher.

Zack: Uh oh….we’ve seen this before! It’ll be a bad ride for Jamie...with a worse landing!

Claire: Jamie’s going to need a trick up her sleeve...otherwise Jacqui’s about to notch up another three points for Australia in the Global Wars Series!

Jacqui grabbed Jamie’s hand as she was up there, and finally snapped off her electric chair finisher that drove the magician into the mat. She quickly rolled across her for the cover as Pruitt slid into position to make the count.

Zack: FALL FROM GRACE!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Pruitt called for the bell immediately as Jacqui sat up, catching her breath and then getting to her feet before she had her hand raised by the referee. Three points were added to the scoreboard for Australia, putting the country in the lead 6-3 over the USA.

Claire: Huge impact from Jacqui Minogue with that move. We’re yet to see anyone even come close to kicking out of that and tonight was no different.

Lexi: Your winner by pinfall………’THE PERFECT STORM’ JACQUI MINOGUE!!

She let out a deep breath, looking down to Jamie with some measure of respect before leaving the ring and dropping down to the floor.

Zack: Jacqui just keeps putting them away, doesn’t she? I think she’s on the best run she’s had since she got here, and is definitely at the top of her game as she awaits her title match with Cait.

Claire: She’s building momentum with every match, getting better with every match and really coming into her own. Australia has three more points in Global Wars and Cait has a massive, Jacqui-sized headache that’ll take her every single trick in the book to overcome.

The Aussie headed up the ramp, glancing back over her shoulder to the ring before the show cut to a commercial for Crossed Out.

Signed, Sealed and Delivered

Christian Kincaid is seen next traversing the corridors of the Future Shock Arena with a clipboard in his hand, which seems to have put a smile on his face. The camera follows him into a locker room, which he knocks before heading inside. There we find Leighana.

Christian: Guess what I got?

Leighana had been sitting with her phone in her hand, but sets it down and looks up at him with a smile on her face.

Leighana: Coffee? A puppy? ...Nah, we’re here, it won’t be a puppy. Oh! Is it our plans food world domination?

Christian: Well normally I’d say close, but that would be a lie.

He takes a seat next to her, and lays the clipboard on her lap.

Christian: I just left a meeting with DOC. There’s the contract for you to be the next challenger for the Diamond Championship. All you have to do is autograph it, and it’s a lock.

Without a word, she takes the clipboard off her lap and signs her name to it, and then hands it back to Christian.

Leighana: Well, it took them long enough to sort that out! Apparently the long way to a rematch for someone who can’t keep their shit together since coming back is more important. Whatever, I’m getting it now, and River gets an opponent who’s actually worth facing.

Christian: We can put that squarely on DOC. I’ve been trying to get this put together for a while now, and I think he has some form of ADD or just selective hearing. Either way, it took this long to get it done. But it’s finished, and now you’re the mandatory next challenger for the title. Besides that between you and me….I think he was angling for a date or at least your number. So you can see why I wasn’t getting far all that time.

Leighana: Eww! No! Just...no, man. No. He can try if he wants, but I would really rather not deal with that. Ah well, he can keep his hands to himself when I face him.

Christian: As for River, she’s been tested against two high flyers since getting that title off Cait. This time, she’ll meet someone who can throw a punch just as hard as she can. Someone who can match her if she just wants to brawl, which does tend to be her preference, I’ve noticed. She’s not gonna see you flying around the ring coming from all angles, it’ll be one angle. Straight ahead in her face.

Leighana: Hey now, I’ll do more than smash her face in if it’s what I need to do in order to get that belt. That said though...I do like to just go properly smash mouth on people. It’s fun!

Christian: You’ll get to do that soon enough.

Both of them look quite happy with this news as the show cuts to a commercial break.

The show returned from the commercial break to the ring, and that’s where we find the beautiful Lexi ready to begin the next introductions.

Lexi: The following contest is scheduled for one fall to a finish.

The lights go out completely as Sisters Are Doing It for Themselves” starts to play. A lightning effect of white and blue pyrotechnics erupt, lighting up the stage for a second at a time. In each of the flashes the silhouette of three female figures standing in a line on the stage.

We said, "Sisters are doin' it for themselves"
Standin' on their own two feet
And ringin' on their own bells
We said, "Sisters are doin' it for themselves"

The pyrotechnics finish and as the lights come back up a sound like thunder plays on top of the music track and a puff of smoke comes from the bottom of the stage, still hiding the female figures for a moment. The smoke clears to reveal the three Stone sisters; Melody, Madyson and Mikayla standing hand in hand with their heads raised, looking towards the ceiling.

Now this is a song to celebrate
The conscious liberation of the female state
Mothers, daughters and their daughters too, oh yeah
Woman to woman, we're singin' with you

Lexi: Introducing alongside Melody and Madyson of Trinity, this is……..MIKAYLA STONE!!

They unlink their hands and take off to the ring at a run and all jump up onto the apron at the same time. Melody and Madyson stand at a corner each, while Mikayla jumps up to sit on the top rope; all facing out towards the crowd. The two older sisters climb through the ropes while Mikayla stands up on the top rope and then backflips into the ring to land between them with a smirk. The three make their way to the corner and share some hushed words as the music comes to an end.

Zack: There’s no one that’s more exciting to watch in all of Future Shock as Mikayla Stone. You know she has to be circulating in that main event picture right now, but she’s about to meet a woman who has performed at the highest levels. This will possibly be her most difficult opponent yet.

Claire: She’s coming up against one of the most experienced and decorated women in all of Future Shock. But, as you said, Mikayla’s one of the most exciting and one of the most talented prospects in the business today and a victory tonight could put Cait firmly in her sights.

The lights in the arena give way to a familiar purple strobe lighting, floating around the stage as keyboard, followed shortly by the floaty vocals of a female. As Beyond the Burning Skies kicks into full gear, the crowd cheers as Valerie McFarlane bursts from the back, through the curtain in a flip, landing on her feet and straightening to the noise coming from the crowd.

Lexi: On her way to the ring, from Edinburgh, Scotland, by way of Los Angeles, California, please welcome to the ring VALERIEEEEE MCFAAAAAAARLANE!

On cue, Valerie takes off at a sprint, through the bottom rope and straight back through them on the other side. She makes a point to go around ringside, slapping hands with fans as she goes around. Once having made a full circle, she gets back into the ring and heads for the turnbuckle, where her hands go above her head with a shout. Bringing her hands back down to her chest, she flips backwards off the ropes again, landing on her feet, but purposefully dropping to a knee. The camera catches her, she grins down it. Getting to her feet, she removes her leather jacket and settles herself in the corner.

Zack: There is no one on this roster that matches the experience level of Valerie McFarlane! She has been on the biggest stages in multiple companies, and I think that might be where Mikayla will struggle. The baby of the Stone sisters has to be prepared for anything against one of the most resourceful women I’ve seen in this sport.

Claire: And we’ve seen that Valerie is more than prepared to think outside the box and do things inside that ring that can’t be scouted. Mikayla’s going to have to be prepared to react to absolutely anything thrown her way and I’m sure in the process she’ll pose some difficult questions for the person who has seen it all and done it all in this business.

Referee Kevin Fisk called for the bell to start the match, and both women shook hands in the center of the ring. They circled for a moment, and locked up. Being the taller of the two, Valerie was able to get the advantage and push Mikayla back into the ropes. She got a clean break as both women raised their hands up for the referee. But the veteran was a shade faster as she immediately surprised Mikayla with an armdrag takedown. It snapped her to the mat quickly, only for her to pop up again and catch a second from Valerie. Stone rolled away from her before she could do it a third time, and Valerie was right behind her as she got up. Mikayla went to nail her with a back elbow, but Valerie ducked the contact and cinched up a rear waistlock. The witch shifted in both directions to try to get free, but Valerie’s grip was too strong. Instead she ran towards the ropes, but barely made a step before the Hall of Famer snapped her to the mat with a German suplex.

Zack: Valerie’s getting the edge early here, and I think what she’s doing is going to be key for this entire match. That’s keeping Mikayla in her grasp, and not letting her start running.

Claire: That’s certainly the key to success for the Final Boss here tonight because she’s not going to be able to keep up with Mikayla and McFarlane has all the experience in the world to be able to do exactly that.

Mikayla got back to her feet, only to find Valerie was already up and yanked her forward into a short arm clothesline. Stone popped up again, and McFarlane threw a shadow punch, causing the brunette to duck….and Valerie snatched her head into a sitout facebuster. She rolled back to her feet, and waved the witch up to her feet.

Zack: Valerie’s not trying to match Mikayla’s speed, she’s trying to keep her at arm’s reach. I was talking with her earlier today, and she told me she had a new hold that we should keep an eye out for tonight. I’m curious to see it, considering she’s one to try things we don’t expect.

Claire: Rolling out new offence and trying out new things are vitally important when you’ve had the long career Valerie’s had. There’s a lot of tape out there to scout, so you have to keep on freshening it up and re-inventing yourself to some extent to keep that edge.

Mikayla got back to her feet, but didn’t make it all the way before the redhead caught her with a running kneelift to the stomach. That wobbled the brunette before Valerie scooped her up in another waistlock into a gustbuster. But McFarlane didn’t let go, instead pulling her back to her feet. She shoved her away, and darted forward to slide on her knees to land under Mikayla’s chin for a palm thrust that sent her backwards into the ropes. The youngest witch leaned against them, trying to get her breath before Valerie hit the ropes beside her, snagged her by the head as she rebounded into a one-handed bulldog.

Zack: Credit to Valerie, she’s doing an outstanding job so far in keeping Mikayla off balance. I thought we were going to see a fast break offense from Mikayla like usual, but our Hall of Famer has stopped that before it even started.

Claire: It’s a masterclass thus far in how to slow down and stifle someone who lives for that high-octane, high paced skills and agility. I hope all wrestling school students are paying close attention and taking notes.

Stone made it back to her feet again, and Valerie whipped her across to the far side. The brunette rebounded as Valerie popped her up into the air. But Stone showed amazing agility and cleared her opponent by landing behind her on her feet. She delivered a Pele kick to the redhead when she turned around, sending the Hall of Famer backwards before the baby witch charged her and caught her with a lungblower and into a cover!

Zack: I’ve seen a lot of pop ups before, but never one that ended like that! Mikayla’s going for it all!

ONE!

Valerie’s shoulder was up before as one hit the mat, and Mikayla quickly continued her assault by mounting the Hall of Famer and landing several punches in a flurry to the side of her head.

Claire: Valerie was doing a tremendous job of neutralising Mikayla...till she tossed her into the air which was exactly where she wanted to be and Stone is making the most of this opening!

McFarlane finally was able to shake her off, and get back to her feet until a yakuza kick from Stone spun her around and dropped her across the middle rope. Stone took off for the far side, and came back at a fast clip to deliver a 619 to send the Hall of Famer back to the mat. Mikayla dove on top of her for the cover again.

Zack: Tiger feint kick, and this is what Valerie wanted to avoid!

ONE!!

TW-NO.

The Hall of Famer kicked out again as the two was coming down, and Mikayla got back to her feet. The little witch was trying to shake off some of the offense she had absorbed before heading towards the corner. She was about to come off, but stopped as she watched Valerie for a second.

Claire: That is not the place to have second thoughts or to hesitate. Especially not against someone as experienced as Valerie who knows an awful lot of ways to make you pay if she catches you up there.

Mikayla jumped anyway as Valerie rolled towards the corner. But the former Nova Champion was a step ahead of her as she landed squarely on her feet, and blasted Valerie with a superkick as she turned around to face her.  Mikayla went right back to the corner again, wasting no time before landing a diving headbutt to Valerie’s chest.

Zack: You were right, Claire. I think Mikayla sensed Valerie might be setting her up for something, and to her credit….she turned the tables.

Claire: It’s not easy to catch a Hall of Famer off guards or take her by surprise but Mikayla managed it right there it’s keeping her on the front foot! She could pick up a massive win if she keeps this up!

Mikayla hopped back to her feet, and took off towards the ropes. Valerie saw her coming and dropped down to the mat, letting her hop over her and keep running. As she rebounded a second time, Valerie ducked and let Mikayla leap frog over her. Stone rebounded a third time with Valerie’s back to her….until the redhead spun around with a palm thrust right to her face that she ran into at top speed. It collapsed her to the canvas before Valerie went for the cover!

Zack: Jesus, Mikayla ran into that shotei at top speed! Valerie may have knocked her out!

ONE!!

TWOOOOOOOOO!!!

TH-NO!

Mikayla got her shoulder up in time, and Valerie sat up to collect herself for a moment. She glanced behind her to nod her head in respect at Mikayla before getting back to her feet again.

Claire: NO! Mikayla just got her shoulder up in the nick of time but I’m absolutely certain she’ll have a couple of teeth loose after getting her bell rung like that!

Valerie rolled her onto her stomach, and then sat on her lower back. She reached behind her to hook Mikayla’s feet under her arms before leaning forward to apply a camel clutch that saw Mikayla contorted into practically a circle. Fisk moved around into position to check for a submission as Mikayla’s feet wiggled under Valerie’s arms as she pulled back on her chin.

Zack: That might be the hold she was telling me about earlier. That’s the nastiest looking camel clutch I’ve ever seen.

Claire: That’s a lot of pressure on the neck and spine right there and I’ve got to say, Zack, I’m not sure there’s much Mikayla can do to escape this, bar try and pray to the Wrestling Gods that Valerie tires.

Mikayla showed no signs she wanted to stop the match as Valerie kept her innovated camel clutch tightly applied. Stone’s feet could be seen moving a little, struggling to get free from under Valerie’s arms as the Hall of Famer cranked back on her chin. The referee checked another time, still getting a clear “No!” from Mikayla.

Zack: I’m with you, Claire. I don’t know how the hell you get out of this. Her feet are tied up, her arms and hands tied up and so is her head. And I don’t see a sign Valerie’s wearing out keeping it applied.

Claire: Mikayla must be in a whole lot of pain right now, but she’s showing a lot of resilience in trying to fight through the pain and refusing to submit. But, yeah, it might just be delaying the inevitable and causing more damage.

Valerie asked Mikayla if she was sure about her decision, warning her it was about to get worse. But Stone was adamant not to give up, and that’s when the Hall of Famer went onto her back, with only Mikayla’s thighs and lower body touching the mat and her upper body and neck being bent backwards.

Zack: Good Lord….she’s flipped onto her back and Mikaya has to be in agony! Wait!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEE-NO!!!

With Valerie’s shoulders on the mat and Mikayla’s feet over them, the referee began counting her down until Valerie broke the hold. Mikayla’s body collapsed back to the mat, and she rolled herself right out of the ring immediately.

Claire: McFarlane almost beat herself right there. Mikayla’s free...but from the look of her right now, I think the damage might be done already. She might be easy pickings for Valerie after the submission hold.

Valerie got back to her feet, and headed towards the ropes as Mikayla was on all fours at ringside. Her face showed the immense pain she was still in from the hold, and one hand was pressed to her back as she was trying to straighten up. Fisk asked Valerie to stay back, which she did as the ten count began in the ring.

Zack: Mikayla’s lucky Valerie is as much of a stickler for the rules as she is, because most opponents would be going out there after her. Her entire body from the neck down must be in agony right now.

Claire: Stone is certainly a warrior but even if she had a mutant healing factor she might well be pushing it to get herself together in this ten count. It’s nice to see Valerie giving her the chance to get back into this contest though.

At the seven count, Mikayla was back on her feet at ringside. She was still feeling stiff though as Valerie took off towards her, looking for a baseball slide into her chest. But Stone pulled out the ring apron, letting Valerie slid right into and get stuck before the brunette began pasting her with hard right hands one after another in a flurry. A bionic elbow landed on top of her head before Mikayla turned around with a spinning heel kick that caught her on the chin before Stone shoved her back into the ring. She slid in after her onto her knees, stopping to clutch her back again before she went for the cover.

Zack: That was an amazing offensive flurry from MIkayla, and she wants this over right now! I don’t blame her!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEE-NOPE.

Valerie got her shoulder up in time, and Mikayla rolled away from her. She laid on her side on the mat, bending her back in and out as she was trying to find a position that didn’t hurt.

Claire: The former Nova Champion almost pulled off the win there but you can see how much damage the submission had on her. That might have been her best shot right there.

She finally crawled to the corner, and pulled herself back to her feet. Mikayla watched as Valerie was beginning to get herself together as well, and shouted at her to get up.

Zack: I’m not sure what Mikayla has in mind here, but it’s looking like feast or famine to me.

When Valerie was finally on her feet, Mikayla took off towards her with her handspring stunner in mind. But as she was springing off her hands, Valerie caught her with a kick to the body that dropped her to all fours. Then she hoisted her up for her gutwrench powerbomb, and into the cover from there!

Zack: There’s the FINAL CURTAIN….in more ways than one!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Fisk called for the bell, and Valerie rolled away to sit leaning against the bottom rope to catch her breath. She rubbed her jaw and checked her teeth before getting to her feet, and having her hand raised.

Lexi: Your winner by pinfall…………VALERIE McFARLANE!!!

Claire: Mikayla put up one heck of a fight tonight but just came up a little bit short to the Final Boss and Valerie gets Scotland on the Global Wars scoreboard with this hard fought victory!

Valerie looked up to the scoreboard to see 3 points added for Scotland, which brought a smile to her face before she went over to help Mikayla up.

Zack: Whatever she calls that submission we saw, I think that opened the door for Valerie to secure the win and 3 points for her native home. But Mikayla pushed her, and had her more than once. But now we have 3 countries with points: Australia, the USA, and now Scotland.

Claire: It certainly changed the whole complexion of the later stages of the match, tormenting and torturing Mikayla who I’m sure will be feeling the effects on her back for quite a while after this. Stone can take heart from the fight she put up, but the day belongs to Scotland and Global Wars is heating up nicely here!

After helping the witch to her feet, Valerie shared some words of encouragement with her and raised her hand, along with giving her some applause too. The show then headed elsewhere in the Future Shock Arena.

Super Nova

A short clip from the last episode of Future Shock airs showing the main event when Luci became the new Nova Champion after defeating Luna Cortez. It also shows some of the celebration with the crowd that took place after the show went off the air. The next shot brings the viewers back to the live show, and that’s where we find the new Nova Champion along with Sara. The fans in the arena give her a very positive reaction.

Sara: Fans, you just saw a little of the main event from 2 weeks ago when history was made in what was being billed as the Supershow, Part 2. That’s where my guest ended the longest reigning champion in Future Shock history, that being Luna Cortez’s 347 day Nova title run. I’m probably not the first and may not be the last to say….congratulations, Luci!

Luci, with her new title over her shoulder, has a wide grin on her face. She gives a nod to Sara.

Luci: Thank you, Sara! It is greatly appreciated. Two weeks later it still doesn’t quite feel real. We all know how hard I worked to get to this point, so to do so is just amazing. Luna was exactly the match I expected from her, and I would like to congratulate her on the length of her reign, too.

Sara: I’m sure if you asked her, she’d tell you that it was much longer than 347 days since she doesn’t count the year she was away from the company and wasn’t able to hold or defend the title. But officially recognized, it is 347 days.

Luci: She probably would, and that is her decision to make, much as I do not agree with it, obviously. I do imagine that if she hadn’t taken that year away then she probably would have held it for longer.  We will never know, however.

Sara: But as the new champion, your first challenger awaits. You return to FFW for the night at Crossed Out to defend against the last woman Luna defended against before she faced you. I’m referring to Angelina Fantastica, who is going to be a far different opponent for you than Luna was.

Luci: Yes, I heard that announcement. She’s a fantastic wrestler, and I’d argue incredibly underrated, as people have attempted to describe me - not that I agree with that on my own part, but that’s another story. She was frightfully unlucky against Luna, though I do have every intention of making sure that she is unlucky again when we face at Crossed Out.

Sara: When you look at the timeline of events, it’s almost like you called your shot. You debuted as part of the Future Shock roster at the pool party, and immediately showed interest in the Nova title. Now fast forward some months, and here you are with it. Does that make it feel like it was meant to be at all? Plus I mean it’s not often a wrestler makes their championship intentions clear poolside in a bikini, so there’s that.

Luci: Partly. I was near where the tug of war was happening, since Valerie and Carys are my friends, and my husband is very close to Valerie anyway. At the time, I honestly, just wanted to see one of the belts up close, which I’d only ever done when Carys brought the Diamond Championship to the Centre to show it off. It also, in my eyes, made sense to start with the Nova. It just so happened that it was the way things panned out. Maybe it wasn’t entirely a conscious decision, but that’s how it happened.

Sara: Good luck at Crossed Out a week from Saturday on FFW All Access. And congratulations again on your new title.

The camera focuses a little closer on the title draped over Luci’s shoulder before Future Shock takes a commercial break.

After the break, the show returns to the ring for the final time tonight as Lexi begins the introductions.

Lexi: The following contest is a Pure Rules match scheduled for one fall, where the winner will go to Crossed Out to challenge for the FFW Pure Championship!

Zack: Lexi said a mouthful there. There is a LOT riding on this match for both women, and maybe a little more besides that for Arabella. Who do you think the rules favor more here, Claire? No punching and only three rope breaks. Does that lend itself more to one or the other?

Claire: I’m not sure it really favours either competitor tonight. Both are going to have to remember not to throw any punches at each other - which could be one of those things that slip your mind in the heat of the moment. Arabella has the power to wear anyone down, while Shaw usually always finds a way to adapt and overcome. This should be a fascinating encounter.

The sounds of "Rebel Yell" by Billy Idol begins to play as purple strobe lights flash on the darkened stage. A woman starts to rise up from under the stage with her back to the crowd before looking over her shoulder with a smile.

Last night a little dancer, came dancin' to my door
Last night a little angel, came pumping on my floor
She said come on baby, you got a license for love

The fans give her a very warm response as she bounces down the stage to the music, greeting several fans along ringside and even taking selfies with a couple before rolling under the bottom rope. She shucks off her ring jacket as the lights come up.

Lexi: Introducing from London, England....please welcome....ARABELLA TOWNSHEND!!

Arabella gives Lexi a little hip bump as she passes her, and climbs up onto the turnbuckle to rally the fans as her music fades out.

Zack: Arabella is about to meet the toughest challenge she’s ever had in Future Shock, to say the least. But we’ve seen her overcome the odds before, it’s how she and her partner won the tag titles, for example. But tonight, I think she has to be the best she’s ever been.

Claire: I think you’re on the money there Zack. Even on Shaw’s bad days inside the ring, she’s been able to hang with some of the best there’s ever been in FFW. But she is beatable. Arabella has to remember that and has to just keep on coming at Shaw, never letting up whenever she has her on the back foot.

The crowd gets plunged into darkness. The silence gets broken by Lexi as she starts to make the introduction.

Lexi: Hailing from Sherbrooke in the province of Quebec, Canada. She weighs in at 142lbs and stands 5’8” tall. This is the… “ONE WOMAN SHOW” SHAUGHNESSY O’NEILL!!!

Alice Cooper’s Poison begins to play as the video wall shows close ups of different parts of Shaw’s face before finally cutting to a live feed of the young woman as the spotlight hits her in the middle of the stage. Kyle joined her as she started to nod her head along to the beat of the music, the young woman heads down to the ring, the spotlight following her all the way to the ring, ignoring the boos of the crowd. Rolling under the bottom rope Shaw kipped up to her feet and stood in her corner, checking everything about her ring gear is in position as she waits to start the match. On the outside Kyle gave her some last minute advice before trying to rally the crowd behind his client.

Zack: No stranger to making history, it didn’t surprise me in the slightest that Kyle would get Shaw positioned to where she had the chance to do it again by ultimately becoming the first Pure Champion. I think this match type might favor Shaw more. Arabella isn’t known for her submission skills too much in Future Shock, and we’ve seen Shaw use them throughout her career. That said, when Shaw gets agitated, she has a tendency to start throwing hands, knees, feet, you name it. Ask Jo McFarlane about that.

Claire: You could be right, Shaw is possibly the more technically sound of the two but Arabella is a lot more powerful and certainly has it in her to frustrate the French Canadian tonight. Keeping her cool could be the key to Shaw staying on the path to making history, but that could be much easier said than done for a woman as cocky and confident as her.

Referee Melinda Davis called for the bell as Kyle shared a few words with Shaw. He then left to the back as Shaw’s attention went to Arabella. The Brit offered her a handshake, which Shaw ultimately returned before they locked up together. The lock up didn’t last long as Shaw immediately went into a go-behind rear waistlock. Arabella quickly tried to break her grip, and then started firing back elbows to get free. But Shaw kept her head low, and Arabella countered by running backwards into the corner. It briefly knocked the wind out of Shaw, and that’s when Arabella started firing back elbows again. This time, they connected before the British beauty used a snapmare to bring her out of the corner. She followed up with several stiff kicks into Shaw’s spine, freezing her up for a moment before delivering a rolling neck snap.

Zack: Arabella’s acquitting herself well here. Punches may be illegal in these kinds of matches, but you can use your feet all you want, like Arabella did with those kicks.

Claire: So far so good for Arabella. She’s got Shaw down but now she has to keep her there and not allow the Quebecois any chance to go on the attack.

Shaw got back to her feet, but Arabella stayed behind her and charged her with a running shoulder tackle that sent her into the corner chest first. Townshend started driving her shoulder again and again into Shaw’s lower back, once again driving the wind out of her. She snatched her arms into a full nelson suplex into a bridge!

Zack: No one’s getting paid by the hour tonight, and Arabella’s looking for the W already!

ONE!

Shaw got her shoulder free fairly quickly, and got back to her feet. Arabella was there to greet her, looking for a discus elbow. But Shaw ducked the contact and countered with an atomic drop that sent the Brit forward awkwardly. The French-Canadian rebounded off the near side with a sling blade clothesline to take her down.

Claire: Arabella’s laid down a good foundation to use her power later in this contest but we’re seeing what happens if you give a competitor like Shaw even a sniff of an opening.

As she saw Arabella starting to get up, Shaw placed her head between her legs as though she were going for her finisher already. But Arabella immediately hooked her arm around the middle rope. Davis made Shaw let her go, and the French-Canadian did just that and fired a knee lift into Arabella’s face. It dropped her to a knee, and Shaw instead delivered a single arm underhook DDT.

Zack: Arabella was still too cognizant to get caught in that flip piledriver from Shaw, but it didn’t slow her down at all.

Claire: It’s one of the things about Shaw that makes her so dangerous in the ring - she always has options that she can move to if her original plan doesn’t pan out.

Shaw pushed her away from the ropes before bouncing off the near side to give her a knee drop to the head. A leg drop followed that before she sat the British beauty up, and planted a knee in her back as she applied a rear chinlock. Davis moved around in front of Arabella, who was already trying to pull Shaw’s hands apart under her chin. She wasn’t having much success though as Shaw’s fingers tightly interlocked.

Zack: Caitlyn Storm will be representing FFW in the Pure Rules match at Crossed Out, which we saw her earn at Breaking Point. Do you think she has a preference of these two as to who she faces?

Claire:  Caitlyn is one heck of a competitor. I don’t think she’d have a preference at all, she’d just welcome the challenge from either of these women at Crossed Out and would back herself to come out on top.

Shaw stood up partially to drive her knee into Arabella’s back before reapplying the same hold as before. Townshend grimaced in pain before Shaw let go with one hand to drive an elbow into the top of her head and reapply the hold for the third time. Davis made sure that Arabella didn’t want to quit, and watched as the raven-haired woman reached both arms up and boxed Shaw’s ears. Twice more she did it, and it finally caused Shaw to let go. The Hall of Famer was dizzy for a moment, allowing Arabella to get up and rebound off the near side with a knee trembler to the side of her head.

Zack: Arabella found her way out there, and now she’s getting back on offense. And Shaw’s been dazed for a moment.

Claire: The British wrestler has to make the most of this. She has to use her power to her advantage. Hit hard. Hit fast and keeping the offence coming until she puts Shaw away to score herself some Global Wars points.

She pulled Shaw to her feet quickly, and scooped her up into a slingshot suplex off the ropes. Arabella quickly got back to her feet, and rolled Shaw onto her stomach. She placed both her feet behind Shaw’s knees, and then pulled her arms behind her before falling to a seat on the canvas, and trapping the former FFW Champion into a seated surfboard submission in the center of the ring.

Zack: There’s something we don’t see all that often out of Arabella. Her target is obviously Shaw’s back, because we know what her favorite move is: that spinning powerbomb.

Claire: It’s smart tactics from Arabella here. Does a lot of damage to her opponent and all she has to do is hold on and lean back, let her weight do all the work.

Davis moved around in front of Shaw, checking for a submission but the former FFW Champion wasn’t giving her one. Arabella kept her arms and legs locked as she sat on the mat, continuing to increase pressure on Shaw’s back. With Shaw sitting on her knees, Arabella freed her own feet and used one to press against Shaw’s lower back. The brunette’s face seized up in pain as she felt Townshend’s boot pushing her.

Zack: Like we were talking about last match, Claire, this is one of those moves that’s pretty difficult to escape with all your limbs tied up. I guess the upshot for Shaw is she can’t use a rope break.

Claire: That’s certainly looking for the silver lining Zack. The former Champion is totally at her opponent’s mercy here and she could this hold locked in till she does some permanent damage to Shaw’s back.

Still not getting the submission, Arabella started using both feet against Shaw’s back as she continued to pull back on her arms. O’Neill’s teeth gritted in pain as Arabella applied as much pressure as she could. But the French-Canadian still wouldn’t give up when asked by the referee. That’s when Arabella brought her knees up to deliver a double stomp into Shaw’s back and let her faceplant down on the mat. She popped back up to her feet, rebounding off the near side with a curb stomp to the back of Shaw’s head before going for the cover!

Zack: Borrowing a page from the FFW Champion right there with a curb stomp that may send Arabella to Crossed Out!

ONE!!!

TWO-NO!!!

Shaw kicked out as the two hit the mat, and Arabella got back to her feet once more. She lifted Shaw over her shoulder, and took off towards the corner with a snake eyes. It sent the brunette stumbling for a moment until Arabella scooped her into a sidewalk slam.

Claire: Missy had a lot of joy with the curb stomp at Unstoppable eighteen months ago but no dice this time around. Though she’s definitely built off it and has the cocky Quebecois in an awful lot of trouble.

As Shaw tried to get back to her feet, Arabella lifted her up again. But this time, it was into a Canadian backbreaker that saw Shaw dangling backwards across one of Arabella’s shoulders. And it was only made worse when she started bouncing her up and down, causing Shaw’s face to show the torture she was feeling. But the French-Canadian knew where she was, and stretched one arm out to grab the top rope. Davis called for the break, and Arabella obliged her by dumping her to the mat.

Zack: Another move we don’t see too much out of Arabella, and there goes one of Shaw’s rope breaks.

Rope Breaks

Arabella Townshend - 3
Shaughnessy O’Neill - 2

Claire: Given the amount of work and torture done to her back, I’m sure she doesn’t mind burning a rope break to try and buy herself a moment or two to recover and stay in this match.

The Hall of Fame wrestler rolled towards the ropes, getting herself a reprieve as the referee told Arabella to stay back. Shaw got back to her feet finally just before Arabella charged her, looking for a running shoulder tackle to her back. But O’Neill spun around, and brought her knee up to catch Arabella on the jaw. It wobbled her backwards, and Shaw followed up with a single knee facebreaker to put her down.

Zack: Shaw’s gotta get the kinks worked out of her back with Arabella targeting it as she has in this match. When your back hurts, everything you try to do hurts too.

Claire: O’Neil’s bought herself time and when you’re as talented and as experienced as the former FFW Champion that can be all you need.

Shaw got back to her feet, still showing pain before she yanked Arabella’s head between her legs. She snapped off her flip piledriver, but the impact sent shockwaves up her back and she collapsed to her side and held her back. She finally started to get into position to make the cover before Davis went to count.

Zack: That was the move she wanted all along, and this is over!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEE-NOO!!

Arabella’s shoulder didn’t come up, but the referee saw her leg under the bottom rope and waved off the count. Shaw glanced up to the official, and then over to see where Arabella’s foot was. As the Hall of Famer sat up on her knees, Arabella propelled herself to roll out of the ring to the floor.

Claire: Holy--!! I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone kick out of that, but you can see how much Arabella’s strategy tonight has taken out of her.

Shaw shook her head at that, and rolled out to get her. Arabella was very lethargic on the floor, and it wasn’t difficult at all for Shaw to come around the corner with a running high knee to the back of her head. It sent her chest first into the apron before Shaw scooped her onto the apron and rolled her back inside. She slid in after her, and immediately yanked her to her feet. She fired her into the far corner, and followed her in with a running jumping knee strike to the head. Townshend’s head snapped backwards as Shaw sat her on the top turnbuckle, and scooped her over one shoulder for a backpack driver followed by the cover.

Claire: Shaw’s bringing out new wrinkles and this could be all they wrote!!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOO!!

THREEEEEE-NO!

But Arabella still managed to get her shoulder up in time before the three. Shaw pulled her up enough to plant her head, looking for another of her flip piledrivers. But Arabella countered with a back body drop and lurched forward afterwards.

Zack: Arabella escaped defeat from one of those, and she’s not about to let Shaw catch her with another if she has her way about it.

Shaw made it back to her feet though as Arabella was still trying to get herself together. She spun the Brit around, and scooped her up into a falcon’s arrow. Shaw dove across her for the cover, hooking the outside leg in the attempt.

Zack: That may be the knockout shot for Shaw, who is 3 seconds from heading to Crossed Out!

ONE!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NO.

Arabella’s shoulder popped up off the mat, and Shaw sat up on her knees. One hand grabbed at her back again for a moment before she got back to her feet. Shaw dragged Arabella away from the ropes by her arm, and seemed to be setting up for something.

Claire: I don’t think Shaw can believe that Arabella’s managed to stay alive in this one the way that she has done, but it certainly looks like she’s got something planned to put this one away!

The French-Canadian brunette immediately dropped down to the mat, and applied a guillotine choke submission on Arabella. The Brit’s arms flailed as she tried to find the ropes, but none were nearby. Shaw immediately tightened her grip as Davis dropped next to Arabella to check on her.

Zack: We haven’t seen Shaw use this in ages, that’s the SHERBROOKE SLEEPER!!

Claire: If the high impact moves aren’t working, Shaw’s just going to put her to sleep. We’re seeing the former FFW Champion roll out everything in her arsenal tonight to try and book her place at Crossed Out!

Townshend tried to use her feet to drag them both towards the ropes, but Shaw was like an anchor and didn’t budge an inch. The Brit still tried to grab any ropes, but there were none to be found in the center of the ring. Her movements began to slow, though she kept fighting against it until she stopped moving at all. The referee checked her arm three times, and called for the bell.

Zack: Wow! What an effort by both women tonight, and it was a move Shaw hasn’t used in a long time that served her best tonight!

Lexi: Your winner by submission………….’THE ONE WOMAN SHOW’ SHAUGHNESSY O’NEILL!!

Claire: She had it well cinched in and I don’t think Arabella was expecting to see Shaw dig this out of the locker, but that’s one of the reasons why she’s so dangerous. It’s testament to how far she was pushed by Arabella Townshend tonight!

Shaw got back to her feet, and got her hand raised. It was very easy to see how sore she was after the match, and gave Arabella a nod of respect before her manager returned to the ring to congratulate her.

Zack: The match is set for Crossed Out with the Pure Championship on the line when Caitlyn Storm faces that woman right there! Shaw was phenomenal tonight, but I think the same can be said for Arabella too.

Claire: Most certainly. Shaw knows that she’s been in a battle with the battling Brit who was mightily impressive. She gave the record breaking FFW Champion one heck of a scare and this match could easily have had a different outcome.

Zack: Next stop: Crossed Out on the 27th! We’ll see you on FFW All Access! Shaw and Caitlyn are gonna make history!

Arabella was beginning to move and sit up as Kyle raised Shaw’s hand in victory. She looked proud of herself, telling him the title was in sight as the show faded off the air.
