Live from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas
November 27, 2021

The FFW logo is shown via spotlights against a cloudy night sky before we switch inside an arena where it looks like a basketball game is about to play. The fans are making noise as both Missy and Kelly come out in basketball uniforms, passing by each other in slow motion on the court as they head for their respective benches. Fort Minor’s “Remember The Name” starts playing as two teams of three head out onto the court.

You ready?! Let's go
Yeah, for those of you that want to know what we're all about
It's like this y'all (c'mon!)

Harley Shannon, Mara Werth, and Nevaeh Summers come out in Houston Rockets uniforms to a roar from the crowd. The camera hits slow motion as Mara is dribbling the basketball before tossing it to the referee as the opposing team starts to make their way out. And that would be three of the Gold Standard, in jerseys for the stable.

This is ten percent luck, twenty percent skill
Fifteen percent concentrated power of will
Five percent pleasure, fifty percent pain
And a hundred percent reason to remember the name

Stacey Sky, Valerie McKinley and Elizabeth Lannister line up across from the three women in the Rockets jerseys. The referee blows the whistle as all six jump up and go for the bell as the crowd roars. Then we cut to the lights over the arena before the shot switches to live inside the arena as we see the ring in the center. Fireworks shoot up from the stage and the ring posts, as well as the Crossed Out stage that looks like a word search puzzle with names of FFW and Future Shock talent..

It's not about the salary
It's all about reality and making some noise
Making the story - making sure his clique stays up
That means when he puts it down Tak's picking it up! Let's go

The song continues playing as the roaring crowd is heard before we switch to the booth at ringside, where Zack and a Hall of Famer guest commentator is standing by side: Valerie McFarlane.

Zack: In the home of the NBA’s Houston Rockets, we are live in the Toyota Center for the final stop of the year for FFW and Future Shock! Welcome to the second annual Crossed Out here on FFW All Access. I’m Zack Hudson, and my Hall of Fame guest commentator needs no introduction: Valerie McFarlane.

Valerie: Good evening everyone! And welcome to Houston! Thank you to Zack for the invitation to be part of the final show of the year! It’s gonna be a doozy of a night, that much we can tell you right now.

Zack: Five matches make up tonight’s card, including 3 titles on the line. There are none bigger though than the FFW Championship rematch from Unstoppable 12 between Missy and Kelly Kincaid!

Valerie: It’s rematch time! This one from Unstoppable, where Missy successfully made it past the year mark. Kelly’s been chasing the FFW Championship for years, without luck, but definitely is looking to change everything for that tonight. Missy’s been pretty much unstoppable though.

Zack: The Pure Championship will be awarded to the first woman to ever hold it tonight, and that’ll be either Shaughnessy O’Neill or Caitlyn Storm. And the winner will defend it across BOTH rosters in FFW.

Valerie: It’s been stated multiple times that it is the first belt that will be defended on both shows, at least since the Future Shock Championship was moved solely to Future Shock itself. But this one will be exactly that, and honestly, Caitlyn really has her work cut out for her here.

Zack: It wouldn’t be crossed out without elimination rules, and that’s what we’ll have in a 6 woman tag match. Stacey, Valerie and Elizabeth of the Gold Standard meet Harley, Mara, and the reigning Phoenix Champion Nevaeh Summers. I gotta believe the Gold Standard has the advantage in that one!

Valerie: As do I. It’s been discussed to death how Nevaeh isn’t much of a team player and while I don’t disagree, I don’t think it’ll be the deciding factor that everyone thinks it’ll be. I just think the Standard will have their ish together better than Mara, Harley and Nevaeh.

Zack: It’ll be Pick Your Poison tonight when Emma Mackenzie meets Savannah Star! The winner can name any opponent they want in the new year, and I think I know who one will pick. I’m not so sure about the other.

Valerie: There’s an almost definite answer for Savannah, but Emma’s been throwing ideas around since the match was announced, nothing seems to stick though.

Zack: And we’re gonna kick things off tonight with the Future Shock spotlight match, which we’ll have every FFW event going forward. The Nova title is up for grabs when Luci makes her first defense against Angelina Fantastica of the Shaolin Belles! Who do you like in that one?

Valerie: I’m honestly just over the moon for the Future Shock representation going on! Angelina is absolutely fantastic to watch, and Luci is a close friend of mine too. So honestly, I’ll be happy either way.

As Valerie finishes her comments, the camera switches up to the ring and there we see Future Shock’s ring announcer standing front in center in a short black dress with the Rockets logo on the front.

Lexi: What’s up, Houston!?!

Lexi gets a roar from the crowd, bringing a big grin to her face before she begins.

Lexi: The opening contest of FFW Crossed Out is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the Future Shock Nova Championship!

The stage is bathed in pink light as “Raise Your Glass” by Pink starts playing. After a moment, Angelina Fantastica comes out in a pair of baggy black pants and a pink cropped tank top, her hair tied back in two French braids, threaded through with silver ribbons. She makes her way up to the ring, bopping to the music and grinning at the fans in attendance. Using the bottom rope, she pulls herself up onto the apron and smiles for the camera before gripping the top rope and backflipping easily into the ring.

Lexi: Repping Staten Island, New York, it’s the Shaolin Stunna, the OG, the prodigal daughter of Future Shock, the one and only Angelina Fantastica!

Angelina looks at Lexi and then climbs the turnbuckle, raising her fist in the air while facing the crowd before jumping down, turning to face her opponent.

Zack: It’s been quite some time since Angelina Fantastica has been in the ring on a FFW event. She’s been a Future Shock mainstay though, and she may be about to become the next Future Shock Nova Champion.

Valerie: Also can’t forget to mention Lexi hamming it up for Future Shock there, either! You’re right about Angelina though, of course. She’s one hell of a wrestler and I am more than excited to see what she does against Luci right now.

“All of the kings have their queens on the throne
We will pop champagne and raise a toast
To all of the queens who are fighting alone
Baby you’re not dancing on your own”

Ava Max’s “Kings and Queens” comes out over the speakers, bringing a cheer from the crowd in attendance. The Australian wrestler steps out from behind the curtain, with Vincent by her side. She stops in the centre of the stage to take it in, looking around her with a smile on her face.

Lexi: On her way to the ring, for Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia, please welcome LUCIIIIIII!

Still smiling widely, Luci heads down to the ring with Vincent beside her. He overtakes her near the bottom, and ascends the steps. Reaching down, he helps his wife to the apron, then pulls the ropes apart so that she can step through. Once there, she goes to her corner and hops onto the middle turnbuckle, throwing her hands into the air and grinning. As she comes back down the music fades out.

Zack: Luci ended the longest reigning championship run in the history of Future Shock, held by Luna Cortez. She is, in my opinion, a phenom! And she is no stranger to being on FFW’s big stages, though she’s a proud part of Future Shock now.

Valerie: Luci was part of FFW at the word go, though she never found much in the way of success. Clearly though, Future Shock has been good to her. She’s still undefeated and has a title now to show off for it! Angelina is going to be fierce for her.

Referee Ashley Pruitt took the Nova title from Luci, and held it over her head before Lexi took it with her as she left the ring. The referee called for the bell after that, prompting both Luci and Angelina to shake hands in the center of the ring. They circled for a moment, and locked up together. Luci showed she was just a little bit stronger as she started pushing Angelina back into the ropes. Pruitt called for the break, which Luci gave immediately. Angelina got away from the ropes, and they tied up a second time. But this time, Fantastica surprised Luci by flinging her to the mat out of the tie-up. The Aussie popped back to her feet just as Angelina caught her with a running forearm to the side of her head. It rocked her a step, and the challenger shoved her back into the turnbuckles. She followed up with a quick corner clothesline followed by a belly to belly suplex to take the champion down to the mat.

Zack: All Angelina needs is that one split second to take control in a match. And in this case, she caught Luci off guard early.

Valerie: She really did. Angelina is one of the quicker girls in Future Shock, something Luci would do quite well to remember.

Luci was quickly back to her feet again, and Angelina was already on the move. She spun the blonde around, and caught her with a kidney punch to freeze her up for a second. Angelina caught her with a forearm to the back of her head that sent her stumbling forward. When the champion turned around, Angelina caught her with a roundhouse kick! Luci staggered backwards, and Angelina hit the near side ropes for a blockbuster before making the cover.

Zack: Angelina’s getting fleet of foot, and could be seconds from being the new Nova Champion!

ONE!!

T-NO.

Luci kicked out, and shoved her off the cover. She popped back to her feet, only for Angelina to grab her into a rear waistlock. That’s when the champion started firing back elbows with both arms. Three of them connected, rattling the challenger before Luci stepped forward with a spinning backfist to drop Angelina to her knees.

Valerie: Wasn’t to be on that occasion! And even without that, all Angelina needed to do was stay still for a few seconds to let Luci get back into it.

Luci rebounded off the rope with a running knee to her chest before she got up, and yanked her to her feet quickly. Angelina tried to squirm out, and Luci ended up behind her and ran her chest first into the turnbuckles. It knocked the wind out of her for a second, and allowed Luci to hop up onto the middle rope and deliver an inverted facebuster that drove the back of the brunette’s head into the mat. She reached forward to snag a leg to make a cover before Pruitt dropped to count.

Zack: Right on the back of her head! Luci may retain by knockout!

ONE!!!

TW-NO!

Angelina kicked out though as the two was about to hit the mat. Luci quickly got back to her feet, and started peppering Angelina with forearms to the side of her head as she was getting back to her feet. Fantastica leaned against the ropes before Luci whipped her across for the ride, and caught her on the rebound with a leg lariat.

Valerie: Like I said, all Luci needed was that second! All of a sudden, it’s all about the girl from Down Under!

She got to her feet again, and pulled Angelina up into a stalling vertical suplex. The Nova Champion held her upside down as the fans began counting the seconds that she had the challenger overhead. They got to a count of 12 before Luci brought her down with the suplex. The champion took off towards the ropes, connecting on the rebound with a rolling thunder senton.

Zack: Angelina’s head has got to be ringing after being upside down all that time and then hitting the canvas like she did. Luci’s not skipped arm day, has she?

Valerie: I’ve never seen her skip arm day and I’ve been working with her for years! I'm dizzy as hell if I’m Angelina though!

Luci pulled her back to her feet, and whipped her into the far corner. As soon as Angelina hit back first, Luci barreled in after her...but ran into a boot to the mouth from Angelina. It wobbled the Aussie backwards a couple steps, allowing Angelina to get her breath and come forward with a scorpion kick that dropped the Aussie to the mat. She darted for the ropes, scaling them like a cat before using them for a springboard corkscrew moonsault followed by a cover!

Zack: Luci got a mouthful of boot leather, and it’s cloudy in Houston with 100% chance of Angelina flying!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

T-NOPE.

Luci kicked out, and rolled away from the challenger as Angelina was getting to her feet. The brunette kept the tempo up as she took off towards the ropes. Luci ducked a clothesline until Angelina stopped on a dime behind her. And when the blonde turned around, Fantastica left her feet for a flying headscissors that nearly sent the champion out of the ring.

Valerie: Might have been an idea to stay down there, Luci! Angelina about sent her flying!

Luci grabbed the bottom rope to stop herself from hitting the floor, and Angelina was on the move again. She was going for a baseball slide, but Luci rolled to her feet on the floor and pulled out the ring apron to let the brunette slide right behind it. And that’s when a flurry of forearms started landing between them, and a headbutt by Angelina staggered the champion backwards a few steps while the challenger was removing herself from the apron.

Valerie: Angelina is doing everything in her power to make sure that Luci doesn’t have her bearings about her at all, which is a smart tactic as it should make it easier for her to get that win.

Zack: Angelina’s not quick, she’s sudden. And I’d have pegged Luci to be a little stronger of the two, but Angelina’s making up for it with output.

She pulled Luci back to her feet, and quickly rolled her back inside the ring. The challenger hopped up onto the apron, and headed for the corner to make her way up top. She launched into a shooting star press that landed perfectly, bringing the Houston crowd to its feet as she hooked Luci’s leg for the cover!

Zack: Look at the hangtime, and Angelina’s gonna be the Nova Champion!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THRE-NOO!!!

Luci’s shoulder came up in the nick of time, and Angelina got back to her feet. She pointed back to the corner, getting a loud response from the crowd before returning to the top rope.

Valerie: And Luci survives another day! Not that it seems to be stopping Angelina from making another attempt at it!

With as many in the crowd cheering Angelina as Luci, the noise level rose as Angelina perched herself and came off the top with a frog splash. But Luci rolled out of the way, and let her crash land on the mat instead. The challenger curled up into a fetal position holding her ribs as Luci started to sit up, and tried to collect herself.

Zack: A picture perfect frog splash for Angelina, but the champion drained the pool! The challenger’s ribs are screaming, and Luci’s trying to recuperate as fast as possible.

Valerie: She doesn’t have much of a choice in that regard! It applies to both of them. Id’ be willing to bet the first one back to their feet would win this.

Luci finally made it to her feet, but Angelina was only a half second behind her. They turned around to face each other, and started throwing forearms in a flurry once again. This time, Luci got the better of the exchange and whipped the challenger across for the ride. Luci darted behind her, only for Angelina to scale the ropes and leap off and land on her feet behind her. Luci stopped herself from hitting the ropes, and turned around into a flatliner from the challenger before she made the cover.

Zack: Luci’s not gonna win a speed drill against Angelina, and that flatliner may just be what it takes for her to leave Houston with the title!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NO.

Luci kicked her foot across the nearby bottom rope, causing the referee to point it out to Angelina. The brunette looked at it, and shook her head as she tried to get her breath back.

Valerie: I take that back! And that’s pure awareness on Luci’s part that stopped her losing the belt at that moment.

Angelina eyed Luci for a second before returning to the corner. She made her way up top, still keeping an eye on the champion before she launted off the top rope. Luci immediately rolled to her feet, causing Angelina to course correct and land on her feet behind her. The Aussie spun towards her, only for Angelina to grab her head for a leaping cutter! The crowd came to its feet as she made the cover!

Zack: She knew Luci was goldbricking, and I haven’t seen a cutter like that since Andi Takata!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Pruitt called for the bell as Arabella rushed the ring. The Brit immediately helped her partner up, and raised her hand along with the referee.

Lexi: Your winner by pinfall…..AND NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEWW Future Shock Nova Champion………...ANGELINA FANTASTICA!!!

Valerie: On yersel, Angelina! That was very well earned, and as Leci just told us, we have a new champion!

The referee took the title from Lexi, and awarded it to Angelina. A huge smile spread across her face, while Arabella applauded her tag team partner and hugged her again.

Zack: Some very quick thinking and even quicker reaction time from Angelina has won her her second title this year in Future Shock! First a tag champion with Arabella there, now the new Nova Champion! Congratulations to her!

Valerie: Very much on that front! Well done, wee yin. She seemed to have Luci’s number from the start, and it definitely showed with that final moment

Arabella raised Angelina’s hand with the title in her grasp to a loud response from the Houston crowd as the show went to a commercial for the merchandise site.

Lexi: The following contest is a Pure Rules match scheduled for one fall to become the first ever FFW Pure Champion!

Zack: Whoever walks out of Houston with this title will have possibly the biggest target on their back of them all. But they will also be able to say they were the first ever woman to hold this very unique title.

Valerie: True on all counts, and is definitely a stipulation championship that you don’t see very often! Not that I’m complaining that it exists!

The crowd gets plunged into darkness. The silence gets broken by John Youle as he starts to make the introduction.

Lexi: Hailing from Sherbrooke in the province of Quebec, Canada. She weighs in at 142lbs and stands 5’8” tall. This is the… “ONE WOMAN SHOW” SHAUGHNESSY O’NEILL!!!

Alice Cooper’s Poison begins to play as the video wall shows close ups of different parts of Shaw’s face before finally cutting to a live feed of the young woman as the spotlight hits her in the middle of the stage. Kyle joined her as she started to nod her head along to the beat of the music, the young woman heads down to the ring, the spotlight following her all the way to the ring, ignoring the boos of the crowd. Rolling under the bottom rope Shaw kipped up to her feet and stood in her corner, checking everything about her ring gear is in position as she waits to start the match. On the outside Kyle gave her some last minute advice before trying to rally the crowd behind his client.

Zack: Shaw has done everything in this company that she set her mind to, including historic reigns as half of the Unity Champions and the FFW Champion. Tonight, she plans to add another achievement to her CV against an opponent who is very capable of upsetting her, I think.

Valerie: Check you with the Britishisms! Also fair t point out, and I say this with a multitude of experience against her, Shaw is probably the single most difficult wrestler to beat on either roster. So if she wins this match...good luck everyone!

Ah-ooh!
If you got troubles let 'em go
Let 'em soar so high, high into the sky
Just like a red balloon

“Red Balloon” by Charli XCX begins to play as red balloons fall from the ceiling, just before Caitlyn comes out through the curtain, looking up in amazement at the balloons showering down on the crowd before looking down to the ring.

Monday morning
Shoot up like a rocket
Yeah, the sun is shining
Keep it in my pocket
Got this golden feeling
Never gonna stop, it just goes on and on

The balloons start getting tossed around in the crowd as Caitlyn makes her way down the ramp to the ring. The former fitness instructor hops up onto the apron and over the top rope to high five a smiling Kat.

Lexi: Introducing at this time....Hailing from New York City, New York and weighing in at One Hundred and Twenty-Six pounds...She is Caitlyn Storm!

Today, I opened my eyes
And now I'm so happy and free
I've got my friends by my side
And that's all that matters to me
So, come on, get up and join in
'Cause this is just what you need
Let's do it all day long

Caitlyn heads for the corner, and climbs up to the second turnbuckle. She glances around the crowd pumping her fist in the air a couple of times to get them even more amped up. The music fades out from there as Caitlyn climbs back down to await the start of the match.

Zack: Caitlyn Storm is a woman on the cusp of making history! She has the right mindset, she puts in the work, and tonight may be the night she achieves something that no one else can ever take away from her.

Valerie: No one will ever be able to say that Caitlyn doesn’t give everything she has to this sport, and watching her grow is absolutely wonderful. I do hope she makes history tonight, just because I want to see her make her stamp.

Referee Kevin Fisk called for the bell after Kyle had left the ringside area, and the two women met in the center. Caitlyn offered Shaw a handshake, which the Hall of Famer returned before they locked up in the center of the ring. As soon as they did, Caitlyn dropped backwards and managed to monkey flip Shaw over to the mat. She was back to her feet a half second faster than the brunette, and caught her with a back heel kick to the stomach that only stunned her very briefly. She started landing quick forearms to the side of her head before she whipped her across to the far side, only for Shaw to rebound into a high hip toss from Caitlyn. Shaw barely had sat up when a rolling neck snap from the blonde stopped her in her tracks followed by a basement dropkick to her chest when she sat up again.

Zack: If you blinked, you missed something in that exchange! There’s no question that Caitlyn can probably run circles around Shaw, and you’re seeing that speed firsthand.

Valerie: Caitlyn might be quick, but Shaw is powerful so the last thing Cait needs is to be caught out by any kind of mistake.

Shaw still didn’t make it back to her feet before Caitlyn continued using her feet, landing front kicks into her chest in a flurry that sent the brunette doubling over on her knees. Storm hit the near side ropes to rebound with a baseball slide into the side of her head. She finally pulled Shaw back to her feet, and hoisted her up for a slingshot suplex followed by a cover. Fisk was quickly into position.

Zack: Caitlyn’s not looking to let Shaw even get a look in here!

ONE!

The former Unity Champion kicked out just as the one hit the mat, and Caitlyn was back to her feet again. She pulled Shaw into a front facelock, and started hammering knees into her face and body.

Valerie: Put the wear-them-out holds in, and you’ll have an easier time of it. In theory, then we have people like Shaw who throw all the theories out the book. In any case, those knees seem to be doing the job pretty well.

She pulled O’Neill to her feet, and shoved her into the ropes. The French-Canadian collapsed to her knees against the middle rope before Caitlyn charged the ropes with a tiger feint kick that sent her spiraling backwards onto the mat for another cover.

Zack: Some call it a 619, but we’ll go with Houston’s area code...the 713 tonight!

ONE!!!

T-NO!

Again, Shaw kicked out as the one tapped the mat. She pushed Caitlyn off her, and rolled towards the ropes to get a little distance between them. But Storm wasn’t interested in that, instead grabbing Shaw’s feet and trying to jerk her to the center of the ring. But the brunette had a tight grip of the bottom rope, and brought her knees (and Caitlyn) up to catch an elbow smash to the head.

Valerie: It had been all Caitlyn right up until she decided that grabbing Shaw by the foot was a good move! As the tape shows...not such a great idea!

It wobbled the former fitness instructor for a moment, and Shaw got back to her feet. O’Neill followed up with a running European uppercut to the chin that rocked Caitlyn backwards. Shaw whipped her across to the far side, and followed her in with a running knee to the body as Caitlyn rebounded off the ropes. It stopped her in her tracks long enough for the Hall of Famer to drop her with a lungblower.

Zack: Shaw’s finally gotten a look in, and she’s not wasting a second, is she? Caitlyn’s speed certainly kept her on the backfoot up until now.

Valerie: If there is one thing Shaw can do, it’s keep on top of her opponents. She has to, especially when she meets the women who nip around the ring like kids on a sugar high.

The brunette gathered her wits, and scooped Storm up from behind with a rear waistlock. She snapped off a trio of German suplexes before using the fourth to send the blonde careening into the corner. The back of Storm’s head hit the middle turnbuckle on the way down, and Shaw took off for the far side. She rebounded with a running knee to Caitlyn’s jaw, then hit the ropes a second time with a facewash boot that snapped her head back. O’Neill pulled her out of the corner, and dropped down into a pinning predicament.

Zack: A barrage of shots aimed right at Caitlyn’s head, and Shaw’s looking to make history!

ONE!!!

TW-NO!

Caitlyn got her shoulder off the mat in time, and Shaw rolled her onto her stomach to deliver elbow strikes to the back of her neck and between her shoulders. She hooked both arms for a scissored armbar submission, and the referee knelt near her to check if Caitlyn wanted to submit.

Zack: Look at this hold! Caitlyn can’t even tap out if she wants to, so the referee has to find out if she wants to be done.

Valerie: If anyone wants a masterclass in how to dislocate shoulders, look no further!

The former fitness instructor showed no sign that she wanted to stop the match, and Shaw kept pouring on the pressure as she arched her back to make the pain worse. Caitlyn’s face was already showing the severe pain she was feeling, once more prompting the referee to ask her if she wanted to stop. She still refused though, and began trying to turn them both sideways. She inched them around about a quarter circle, and was able to get her foot across the bottom rope. Fisk called for the break, and Shaw released it.

Rope Breaks Left

Caitlyn Storm - 2
Shaughnessy O’Neill - 3

Zack: One rope break down for Caitlyn, but I couldn’t see another way out of that hold for her. She’s still got two left to burn, if she needs them.

Valerie: That’s what the rope breaks are there for. Sometimes you just don’t have the choice.

Shaw grabbed her foot to drag her away from the ropes, but Caitlyn started kicking at her with the free foot. Three good shots, including one in the face, sent Shaw backwards and allowed the blonde to make it back to her feet. It didn’t help long before Shaw blasted her with a high knee to the back of her head followed by a reverse DDT into a cover once again.

Valerie: Shaw is not letting up in the slightest, and Caitlyn knows all about it with another fall!

ONE!!!

TWOO!!!

Storm kicked out at two, and Shaw was back to her feet again. She watched as Caitlyn was starting to get back to her feet, and she made sure to stay behind her the whole time until she scooped in to apply a cobra clutch.

Zack: Out of the frying pan, into the fire for Caitlyn! If Shaw gets her down in this cobra clutch, I’m not sure she’ll make it to the ropes a second time.

O’Neill was stepping on the back of her leg as she tried to get her to the mat. But Caitlyn was fighting it. She tried to get to the ropes, and Shaw let her get two steps before she dragged her backwards to the center again. Storm’s face was starting to darken now before she used her free hand to grab Shaw’s hand and drop to a seat, delivering a modified jawbreaker that finally sent the French-Canadian stumbling backwards. She struggled back to her feet, and was trying to get her bearings when she felt Shaw’s hand start to grab her again, and that’s when she blasted the previous FFW Champion with a Pele kick that sent them both to the canvas.

Zack: Outstanding ring awareness by Caitlyn, and she nearly sent Shaw’s head into the nosebleed seats!

Valerie: She needed to pull something out the bag there, and damn if she didn’t just do that! She gets a break for a couple seconds, and Shaw might find herself on the back foot again.

With both women down, Fisk started his ten count. It was Caitlyn who sat up first though at the four count, and she saw Shaw beginning to do the same. Storm got to her feet a second before Shaw did, and went for a discus clothesline. O’Neill ducked the contact, and Caitlyn caught her with a superkick as she turned around! The former Unity Champion collapsed like a sack of bricks and Caitlyn dove on top of her for the cover.

Zack: It sounded like a gun went off with that precision superkick! It’s over, Caitlyn’s gonna have the biggest upset of 2021!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THR-NOO!!

Shaw’s shoulder popped up off the mat in time barely before the three count. Caitlyn sat up, holding the back of her head for a moment before getting to her feet. She headed towards the ropes when she saw Shaw beginning to rise, and came back with her Storm Force scissor kick to put her down again.

Valerie: STORM FORCE! Caitlyn loves that scissor kick, and for good reason! She’s definitely back in control now.

Caitlyn quickly headed for the ropes, and glanced behind her to see Shaw and wait for her to get up again. When the brunette finally did, Caitlyn went for her finisher. She springboarded off the ropes, but Shaw ducked the kick. Storm landed awkwardly before Shaw pulled her into a double knee facebreaker.

Zack: Caitlyn went for her favorite move, STORM RISING!! But Shaw had it too well scouted! What a counter!

Valerie: If Shaw is anything, she is someone who is incredibly good at countering people without actually countering them, and it showed with that duck!

Shaw dropped to the mat, and trapped Caitlyn into her guillotine choke. The referee dropped next to Caitlyn to ask for a submission, but the blonde was fighting it as much as she could.

Zack: There’s the SHERBROOKE SLEEPER!! That’s what she used to put out Arabella last week on Future Shock.

Valerie: Arabella didn’t last long in that hold last week, I wonder if Caitlyn will do better this time.

Shaw tightened her grip as Caitlyn was kicking out with both feet trying to find the ropes as the referee kept a close eye on the situation. Unfortunately for Caitlyn, Shaw her in the center of the ring. And worse, the hold was taking effect. Storm’s movements started slowing and faltering until she stopped fighting at all. The referee dropped her arm three times, and called for the bell.

Zack: And once again, Shaughnessy O’Neill has made history! Tell’em about it, Lexi!

Lexi: Your winner by submission….and the FIRST EVER FFW Pure Champion……’THE ONE WOMAN SHOW’ SHAUGHNESSY O’NEILL!

Kyle headed back to the ring quickly, applauding Shaw as he grabbed the title off the timekeeper’s table. He stepped into the ring, and handed it to her as the referee raised her other hand in victory.

Zack: Shaw has outlasted a very stern challenge from Caitlyn Storm, and is now the first ever Pure Champion. And near as I can tell, there’s over 50 women between FFW and Future Shock who just made her their center of attention.

Valerie: That’s one hell of a target! But Shaw is one hell of a wrestler, so both rosters are going to have their work cut out for them!

Zack: Shaw has inherited a wide target, which I know she’ll welcome. And I already know who wants the first crack. I spoke with Arabella earlier today, and she told me she wants the winner!

Valerie: I’m not surprised by this in the slightest! Also, Caitlyn didn’t tap so there might be cause for a rematch there, too!

Zack: This Pure division is starting to come together, and we’re gonna see some dream matches before it’s all said and done, I think.

Shaw raised her title for a moment, and then held it in front of her to get a better look. Her smile could be seen in its reflection. Sharing a smile with her manager, Shaw laid the Pure Championship over her shoulder as the show went to a commercial for the merchandise site.

Who Wants A Prize?

Recorded Earlier Today….

The FFW cameras find a meeting going on in one of the hallways of the Toyota Center, and get closer to find it’s between “Sensational” Stacey Sky, Kyle Kilmeade and the owner of FFW, Samantha Star.

Kyle: I really want to see Stacey get another shot at the Phoenix title. You saw the match at Sin & Sacrifice, that referee was trying to be as big of a star in the match as Stacey. It wasn’t fair to her. Referees are supposed to do their jobs so well that we don’t know they are there.

Samantha: You’re right, I did see the match. Of course, I did. And I understand what you’re talking about. Don’t forget that I brought Stacey to FFW on  a very generous deal, and her success should be a mirror image of that. So here’s what I’ll do. Mara already has earned a title shot at Nevaeh by defeating her. So Stacey, tonight in your elimination tag match, I want you to impress me. Just like you did with your time in Future Shock, I want you to be a wrecking machine in the ring. And if you do that, you’ll get what you want.

Stacey: I can do that, no problem. It’s like second nature to me to be a wrecking machine, so you’ll definitely get to see something that impresses. I guarantee it.

Kyle: You heard it. Believe me, we had no intention of going easy on any of the three. Valerie has no loveloss for Harley at all, Elizabeth doesn’t like any of them either, and Stacey in particular has history with a couple of those girls. I promise you she’ll be in a form unlike you’ve ever seen before.

Samantha: If the Gold Standard wins no matter how many of them are there at the end, there will be a prize for all involved. I’m going to do the same for the other team. If Nevaeh, Harley and Mara win no matter who’s left at the end, I have something in mind for them too. But…

The redhead sees the camera recording, and gives the operator a look which, in turn, convinces him now would be a good time to stop recording. Which is what happens as the show heads back to the live broadcast.

Kat: The following match is scheduled for one fall for a finish and it is a Pick Your Poison match!!

Zack: For those of you watching who are unfamiliar with what a Pick Your Poison match involves, the winner gets to name the opponent of their choosing for a match sometime next year. So conceivably, the winner could put themselves in the ring with any champion or someone they always wanted to face. We can kinda guess on who Savannah would pick, couldn’t we?

Valerie: If she doesn’t pick Kelly or Missy, depending on tonight’s main event, then I’ll fall over! It’ll be the singularly most easy pick I’ve seen in the history of Pick Your Poison. I love this match type, for the record. We’ve seen some belters come out of it.

There was silence; the lights began to fade away slowly. A soft instrumental echoes out across the audience. It starts slowly, a beautiful sound that contrasts the heaviness of the world. Like feathers, it glides among the waiting audience. The lighting fixtures produce a gentle spotlight upon the stage, offset by the occasional flash here and there. As 'Just Close Your Eyes' by Waterproof Blonde continues to play, a woman’s words begin to come through. Her voice is tender, not raising upon a whisper.

"Deceived by my eyes and all I was told I should see
Opinions not mine, the person they taught me to be
One night in the dark, a vision of someone I knew
And in the darkness I saw, a voice say, I'm you."

On the stage, a feminine figure appears. Her head lowered to everything. People cannot make out who it is. As she stands there, the flashes briefly illuminate her figure. It only gives small clues on who stands at the gate. She stands in the spotlight, her shadow cast large and proudly among the stage.

"Inside me a light was turned on…"

The instrumental picks up again. An electric guitar now joins the progressively exciting instrumentals of before. The singer’s voice suddenly intensifies.

"Then I was alive!"

In the light, it is revealed that it was Savannah Taylor. She stands at the gate, a robe of obsidian and ivory hues. The hood of it shadows her eyes, but the intensity of the final EXODUS World Champion remains clear as day. She starts off down the ramp, with a serious aura radiating from her body.

Kat: Ladies and gentlemen, making her way down to the ring....weighing in at one hundred twenty pounds.....from Las Vegas, Nevada.....Savannah Star !!!

"If you close your eyes your life,
A naked truth revealed
Dreams you never lived,
And scars never healed"

Savannah makes her way up the ring steps. She looks out towards the audience for a moment before entering the ring. From there, she heads for a turnbuckle. She stands there, taking in everything. She then lifts her up on top of it. She peers out in nothing, then takes off the hood with a flashy flourish. Her blonde locks fly up in the air. They descend, shaping her face as they famously do.

"In the darkness, light will take you to the other side
You'll find me waiting there you'll see, if you just close your eyes."

While she stands in her corner, she closes her eyes and takes a heavy breath. When her bright eyes open, Taylor is completely composed. There is nothing more than the heat of battle awaiting her. She takes off her robe, giving it to a stagehand. She stretches her wrists before devoting her mind to the war upon the horizon.

Zack: Savannah Star has made it her goal to become the FFW Champion. She had that opportunity this past May at Fury against the reigning champion. A win here, and she could find herself in a rematch with Missy or potentially Kelly after tonight.

Valerie: She could, she might and it is entirely possible she will. But first, she’s gotta get past one of my favourite people in the world and honestly, one of few people I really wouldn’t wanna meet in a bad mood in the dark.

We have the passion of the unbroken
And our souls we will not sell
You can beat us down but when we come around
We’ll damn you all to hell.

The familiar combination of blue and black lighting heralds the entrance of Emma Mackenzie, which brings about cheers from the crowd. Ryan Mackenzie emerges first, and his wife follows on the song kicking in.

Kat: On her way to the ring from Glasgow, Scotland, please welcome EMMAAAAA MACKENZIEEEEEEEEE!!

Waiting for a sign, I guess I missed it on the way
I tried to walk the line but it's more than I could take
I get so tired of waiting; your signal's fading out
You're on the outside before you even know you're out of place

Emma starts towards the ring, seemingly avoiding any fan contact, with Ryan a step or so behind her. Reaching the bottom of the ramp, she pauses to remove the bobble from her head, then looks aat Ryan with a grin on her face.

I've had enough and your time is up
So give me something, that one thing real
And I'll say yeah, 'cause I've been going out of my head again
Just waiting for a lifeline

Emma bounces up onto the apron and crouches to enter the ring between the bottom and middle ropes, where she heads to her corner, looking out at the fans in attendance. After a moment, she hops back down to join Ryan on the canvas, and the pair talk between themselves as the music fades out.

Zack: Emma, on the other hand, is a little harder to guess. I’m not sure exactly who she’d want to face in a match, but that’s what makes Pick Your Poison matches intriguing. Any guesses who she might want, Valerie?

Valerie: We’ve talked about it a couple of times, and honestly, I don’t even think she knows who she’d pick. I did suggest she go after the Pure Champion, but she also pointed out that is really the last place on Earth we’d find her. So we know it won’t be that!

Melinda Davis was the official in charge of the match and checked both contestants were ready which saw Ryan drop down to the floor in his wife’s corner as she gave the okay; Savannah also indicated to the official that she was ready. The referee called for the bell and both wrestlers came out of their corners, circling each other for a moment before the pair of them locked up only for Emma to deliver a knee lift to her foe’s midsection, following it up with a second before she sent her down to the canvas with a snap mare takedown. Mackenzie quickly followed that up with a snapped kick to the spine which saw Savannah roll to the side and push upwards to her feet only to immediately get taken back down to the canvas with a spinning neckbreaker.

Zack: Valerie, who do you give the edge to here? I think Savannah may have the technical advantage, but if it turns into a brawl, we’re in Emma’s wheelhouse.

Valerie: On a technical level, yes. And honestly that only comes from the fact that my nine-year-old is more technically sound than Emma is. Emma was built to fight and she can do basically everything, but she likes to fight where she can get away with it.

Savannah again went to come back to her feet but as she did so, Emma caught her with a knee lift to the jaw. Star came the rest of the way to her feet and the Glaswegian began to pepper the side of her face with stiff forearms, causing her to stagger into the ropes before Emma fired her across the ring. As the Las Vegas native bounced off the ring ropes and came back to the middle of the ring, Mackenzie left her feet to catch her with a Thesz press, sending her down to the mat once more where she started to fire off right and left hands into her face. Star covered up before she used a monkey flip to send her foe off of her and down to the mat.

Zack: If Emma were to win this match, do you think she’d want to take on her friend and the FFW Champion if she retains tonight? I’m sure Emma would be happy to be FFW Champion, but at Missy’s expense possibly?

Valerie: I think she might. Emma’s never been worried about facing people she gets along with. In fact she seems to enjoy it. But as we’ve discussed, I don’t think she knows what she’d do with the win.

The pair came back to their feet simultaneously and glared at each other for a moment then started to circle each other before stepping forwards and going for a lock up only for Star to instead rake her nails down Emma’s eyes, following it up with a pair of knees to the stomach of the temporarily blinded Scottish wrestler. As the Glaswegian stepped backwards, trying to clear her vision, Savannah measured her up and clocked her with a big right hand to the side of the jaw to keep her off balance as she sent her down to one knee with a roundhouse kick to the side of the head. Mackenzie pushed her way back up to her feet and as she did so, the Las Vegas native leapt onto her shoulders and snapped off a headscissors takedown. The momentum saw the former FFW Champion roll across the ring and start to rise to her feet, getting upright just as the blonde charged towards her and sent her flipping over down to the canvas once again with a kitchen sink knee lift into her opponent’s midriff.

Zack: Unlike Emma, I don’t think Savannah would have any reservations about facing Missy or Kelly again. As a matter of fact, they would probably get a more ruthless version of her if either of those matches came to be.

Valerie: Pretty much. Though honestly, I would like it if she surprised us. I’m not holding my breath, but it would be nice.

Emma sat up almost instantly and started to get back to her feet, only for Star to grab hold of a handful of hair, yanking her back to her feet and towards the nearest corner where she slammed her face first into the top turnbuckle. She repeated that nine more times before she spun Emma around and shoved her backwards into the turnbuckle pads then stepped forwards and drove a knife edge chop into Emma’s chest. Mackenzie tried to cover up but her foe wasn’t about to let her as she pulled her arm away from her body and laid in four more stern chops into her body as the official called for the break and started the count, getting to four Savannah drawing her hand back and delivered an open handed slap to Emma’s cheek, turning the Scot’s head to the side before the blonde stepped back giving Davies the break. As Emma turned back towards her with fire in her eyes, Savannah lowered her shoulder and delivered four shoulder thrusts into her midsection as the referee again called for the break and started the count.

Zack: Savannah has made the FFW Championship her singular focus for some time now, and that might make her a bit more hungry than Emma who has done so much already here. What do you think?

Valerie: Emma’s been there and done it all, which is probably why he’s giving her potential choice a bit more thought. Savannah, as you’ve said, has one goal. And I don’t think she’ll stop until she meets it

Once more Star stepped backwards, holding her hands up to show the referee that she’d given the break. Melinda Davies told the wrestler to allow her foe out of the corner and Savannah granted her wish as she jerked her out of the corner by the wrist and into a knee lift. Emma doubled over and the former No Surrender Champion went to hook her head for a bulldog, pulling her towards the middle of the ring but before she could deliver the move, Emma lifted her up and countered with an atomic drop. Star stepped forwards and the Scottish wrestler reached forwards, grabbing hold of her by the shoulder and spinning the American grappler around into a stiff open handed slap of her own. Savannah held her cheek as she stepped back only for the Hall of Famer to go low, lifting her up off her feet where she slammed her violently down into the canvas spine first as she dropped to her knees.

Zack: Emma’s wanting to turn this into a plain old fight, but Savannah wants to keep it to wrestling. Right now, Emma’s definitely getting her way with these shots.

Valerie: She can wrestle, she will wrestle. If she can get away with it though, she won’t. That’s just the way it is. Savannah knows that and is still getting ripped.

The blonde sat up and Emma caught her with a lunged forearm from one knee to her jaw before the Scottish wrestler pulled her back to her feet, facing away from her and started to drive forearms into the lower back of the American, grabbing hold of the back of her tights to jerk her back into the next forearm. Emma landed three blows before she reached around her to wrap her arms around her jaw and jerk her backwards to slam the back of her head downwards into the canvas. Quickly Mackenzie came to her knees and grabbed hold of Savannah’s hair in two hands and started to bounce the back of her skull off the mat as the referee called for the break and started the count, getting to three before the Glaswegian jerked the blonde to her feet. As she brought her upwards, she locked in a front facelock, controlling her head as Emma started to fire off knees into her foe’s body, delivering four before she allowed her to stand up straight and fired the American across the ring into the corner. As Savannah hit the turnbuckles, she stepped forwards towards the middle of the ring only for Emma to send her down to the canvas with a sling blade clothesline.

Zack: Nothing but hard impact with those strikes from Emma, and that’s exactly what you’d expect from her. And it’s what she’s made one hell of a living doing for the last several years.

Valerie: And even before she got into wrestling, she was forever in a fight. People honestly seem to forget this and I don’t understand how. You don’t meet many wrestlers who literally fought to survive.

Star hit the mat and went to rise to her feet once more as Emma headed towards the corner and hopped up onto the middle rope. She waved Savannah upwards and as the American wrestler turned to face her, Mackenzie launched herself off with a high knee to her jaw that caused her to stagger backwards. The American managed to stay on feet only for her Scottish opponent to grab her around the waist and use a belly to belly suplex that saw her crash back first and upside down into the turnbuckle pads, the Las Vegas Siren sliding down to land on the back of her head and shoulders. Quickly Emma came back to her feet and began to stomp away at her foe’s gut, Star slipping to the side to lay on the day as she did so. The official told Emma to let the blonde out of the corner and started the count, getting to four before the Scottish wrestler backed away to stop herself from being disqualified.

Zack: Emma definitely doesn’t want to get herself disqualified here, not when you have the prize hanging over head that she does. I doubt Savannah would mind though if she won that way.

Valerie: Savannah would not give a damn! Well...she might prefer to win clean, but let's be honest, she’d get a shot at the FFW Champion! She won’t say no!

Star pulled herself up to a sitting position in the corner as Emma headed back towards her and went to pull her away from the corner. Before she could get the American upright, Savannah fell grabbed her around the waist and fell backwards onto her ass, causing Emma to hit the top turnbuckle face first. Mackenzie staggered backwards, holding her nose as she did so and the former No Surrender Champion came back to her feet, grabbing hold of her foe by the head, dropping to the knees to deliver a jawbreaker. As the Glaswegian staggered backwards, Savannah came back to her feet again and launched herself forwards to deliver a one handed bulldog to her. The former FFW Champion pushed up to her knees and as she did so, Star came off the ropes and launched herself into a dropkick to her chest, rocking the Scot back on her heels. The Scot took a moment or two before she continued to rise and as she did so, the Las Vegas native grabbed hold of the back of her head and into a single knee facebreaker. As Mackenzie bounced off her knee, Savannah jerked her forwards into a short arm clothesline that sent her down to the canvas.

Zack: One thing Savannah will earn, if not already, is that Emma has incredible resiliency. She used to be a staple in the Ultraviolence division when it was a thing in FFW, not to mention holding the record as the longest reigning singles champion in FFW history to this day.

Valerie: I remember a couple days after she won that belt. She texted me saying “please, gods of wrestling, do not let me fuck this up again”. And then that happened! In any case, Savannah is also in the boat of incredible resiliency. As has been shown by the fact she just keeps getting back up!

Emma sat up as she hit the canvas which allowed the former No Surrender Champion to drop down behind her, driving a knee into the top of her spine before she grabbed hold of her wrists and pulled them across her chest to apply a straitjacket hold. Mackenzie struggled against the hold, trying to jerk her hands free with little success. The referee dropped to her knees in front of the Scottish wrestler, asking her if she wanted to submit which only got her a death stare from the former Ultraviolence Champion before she started to again struggle against the hold, still failing to free her hands. Emma shook her head - as much in frustration as anything when the official again asked her if she wanted to quit - then started to push upwards, arching her back till she began to turn into the hold which saw Star release her grip on one of her wrists while twisting the arm she still had caught into an arm wringer. As soon as the Las Vegas native had the hold locked in she fired off a kick into her foe’s kneecap, causing the leg to buckle which Savannah used fully to her advantage when she jerked the arm violently downwards to cause Emma to fall face first into the mat. Star dropped down on top of her with an elbow drop into her shoulder blade then applied a fujiwara armbar.

Zack: I told you Savannah was going to keep this to wrestling if she got her way, and that armbar is proof of that. She may have her work cut out for her to get Emma to quit though.

Valerie: In 13 years I’ve seen Emma tap...twice. I think. I KNOW I’ve seen it, but I couldn’t even tell you when the last time was. Not because she refuses to and thinks it’s weak. But because honestly, people forget how much you need to hit her with in order to get to that level.

The referee once more dropped down into position to ask Emma if she wanted to quit in the submission, getting a ‘No’ as the Glaswegian pushed against the mat with her free hand, kicking out her foot as Ryan came around the ring and started to offer her advice. Savannah wrenched back further on her arm, applying more and more pressure as Emma continued to push against the mat, moving herself around the ring a little bit as she kicked out her foot and just came up short of reaching the ropes. Ryan offered all the encouragement he could as he leaned against the bottom rope, pushing it forward just enough so that when she kicked out her leg she could hook her foot over it. On the outside, Ryan immediately moved to bring the referee’s attention to it which saw Davis call for the break and start the count. She got to four before Savannah released the hold and rolled away.

Zack: Ryan’s earning his keep at ringside tonight, isn’t he? That’s what a good manager does, not to mention husband in this case.

Valerie: What’s funny about that is, is that if it had been Kyle for example, pushing the rope to the client would be considered a great offence! I don’t have an issue with it, personally. But Ryan’s been shouting encouragement all night.

Emma started to pull herself using the ring ropes and as she did so, the Las Vegas native took off across the ring, coming off the opposite ropes to deliver a running European uppercut to the Glasgow native that caused her to lean back against the ropes. Savannah spun around and delivered another European uppercut to her jaw. Again Mackenzie was rocked back against the ropes before Star fired her across the ring with an Irish whip, hoisting her up onto her return and dropping her throat first over the top rope with a stun gun. The Scot gasped for air as she landed on her feet which saw her get rolled up into a schoolgirl pinning combination.

Zack: Savannah going for the win out of nowhere here! And this is the first fall since the bell rang!

One…

...THR-

Valerie: And the only reason it took that long is because both women know this wouldn’t have been as easy as some of their other matches might have been! I even think that might have been too early.

Emma kicked out before the three count could be completed, using all of her leg strength which sent Savannah through the ropes, landing on the apron as the blonde stopped her descent with the aid of the ring ropes. Mackenzie reached for her shoulder as she rose back to her feet, Savannah pulling herself upwards at the same time. Star made it upright first and went to step through the ropes only for Mackenzie to skip forwards and catch her with a bicycle kick to the side of her head, wobbling her opponent. The Las Vegas born wrestler managed to stay on the apron thanks to her grip on the middle rope and once more leaned her upper body into the ring before she went to step inside...only for Mackenzie to bounce off the bottom rope and deliver a guillotine leg drop across the back of her foe’s neck, snapping her chest over the middle rope to send her falling backwards to the floor, the American landing hard on her back.

Zack: You tell me, you’ve known her for years. Is Emma one who watches tape of her opponents? Or does she play it by ear and feel her opponent out during a match?

Valerie: Both. She’ll watch tapes, she likes to call herself an idiot but she’ll do things to prepare. However, she also believes that it can only do so much. What actually matters is how the wind blows in the match, or something equally pseudo-philosophical.

The former No Surrender Champion took a moment before she started to pull herself upwards, getting to her feet as Emma made it to the top turnbuckle and launched herself off into a high crossbody block, taking Savannah back down to the floor as she did so. Emma took a moment before she started to rise to her feet, pulling Savannah up with her and kept her around cupped around the back of her head, using her grip to send her spine first into the crowd barricade before the Scot grabbed hold of the top of the barrier and start to fire off kicks into the midsection of the Las Vegas native, delivering ten kicks in quick succession before she jerked her away and into a flapjack into the floor. Again Mackenzie pulled her foe up to her feet and this time she rolled her into the ring underneath the bottom rope before the former Ultraviolence Champion pulled herself up onto the apron and headed to the corner. The Glaswegian climbed to the top rope and as Savannah came to her feet, Emma jumped off to drive the point of her elbow into the top of her head.

Zack: That’ll scatter your gray matter right there. Savannah’s already on one knee trying to reorient herself.

Valerie: Like I said, Emma prefers to fit but she will just wrestle you if she has to.

Star dropped to her knees and started to push upwards as Emma took off across the ring, hitting the ropes and came back to catch her foe with a running big boot to the face. It caused Savannah to spin around which allowed the Scottish wrestler to wrap her arms around her and snap off a German suplex, slamming her down into the mat. Savannah arched her back up off the mat and rolled to the side before she started to come to her feet only to get her hair grabbed by her foe once more and was snapped face first to the mat. Before the American could move, Emma started to circle her, stomping away at her limbs and her lower back with a Garvin stomp, going full circle before she delivered a double foot stomp to the small of her back. Mackenzie stood on her opponent’s back and reached forward to grab hold of her wrists and pull her upwards into a standing surfboard.

Zack: Emma with a standing surfboard submission, maybe that’s the ticket, Valerie. Maybe she wants to give Lilly a challenge for the No Surrender title.

Valerie: I can’t say I’d be surprised if she did. She likes a challenge. Or maybe she’s said “to hell with it, you were a No Surrender Champion, get out of this!”

The referee dropped down in front of the former No Surrender Champion, asking her if she wanted to quit and getting a shake of the head as Emma pulled on her arms, leaning back slightly to further increase the pressure applied to her opponent’s spine. Still Savannah refused to submit despite being caught in the middle of the ring. The Glaswegian told her to quit as she stomped a boot down into her spine and pulled back even further in the hold, arching her spine as far she possibly could. Star let out a half cry of pain but still shook her head in denial when the referee asked the question. It saw the Scot scowl in frustration, giving a slight shake of her head before she stepped forward onto the canvas and delivered a stomp to the back of her foes head, driving her face first into the mat. Three more stomps followed that before she dropped Star’s wrists and took off for the ropes, bouncing off them and launching herself into a baseball slide into her foe’s face.

Zack: Two feet right in Savannah’s face there as Emma tries to rearrange the supermodel features of the “Las Vegas Siren” tonight in Houston.

Valerie: Scratch what I said earlier! Emma just wants a win!

Savannah rolled away, holding her back and started to push upwards only for Emma to grab hold of her hair once more, pulling her upwards and into a hairpull backbreaker, slamming her down into her knee. Star fell to the canvas and Emma delivered a double knee drop to the chest before she made the cover.

Zack: Emma looking for it all right here, and Star’s had the wind driven out of her!

One…

...THR-

Valerie: Well that was a bit closer than I would have given it credit for!

Savannah kicked out and immediately the Scottish wrestler floated over into the mount position, cradling the back of her head and began to tattoo with rapid fire, stiff closed fist shots to her skull before she again pulled her opponent upright and this time she fired her across into the corner. As Star hit the turnbuckle pads, Emma charged in behind her and caught her with a running clothesline, spinning around to deliver an elbow to the side of her jaw before she followed it with a series of alternating back elbows; landing five as the official called for the break and made the count, getting to four before Emma stepped through the ropes to the outside and climbed to the top rope where she hooked hold of the blondes head and launched herself off to deliver a Tornado DDT, standing the Las Vegas born wrestler on her head before she collapsed to the canvas. Once more, Emma dove on top of her to make the cover.

Zack: Beautifully executed tornado DDT with Emma on top for the win!

One…

...THR--

Valerie: Close but not quite! Emma’s definitely getting the advantage now.

Savannah rolled her shoulder to break up the pinfall and once more Emma shook her head as she asked for the three only to have the official confirm the two count to her. The Glaswegian rose to her feet and stepped backwards from her opponent, waving her upwards. Slowly Savannah began to push upright making it as far as one knee before the Sot tagged her with a venomous right hook to the jaw. A second right hook followed before she pulled the blonde upwards and onto her shoulder before she dropped back with a Samoan drop. Star sat up holding her spine with one hand only to receive a pair of stiff kicks to the back that saw the former No Surrender Champion roll to the side and come to the ropes where she started to pull herself to her feet. The former FFW Champion waved her opponent upwards, waiting until she was virtually all the way up before she dropped back to the ropes, bouncing off them and building up speed as she returned before she went for a leaping double knee strike into her back only for Savannah to sidestep it at the last moment. Emma hit the ropes knees first and managed to land on her feet in the ring, staggering backwards as she did so which allowed Savannah to hop up onto the middle rope and launch herself backwards into a disaster kick to the face, dropping the Glaswegian to the canvas.

Zack: That was devastating impact! If Savannah went for the cover, she might have this match won right there!

Valerie: She maybe could, but I don’t think she’s going to!

Savannah held her back as she landed on her knees, keeping her hand on her spine as she did so and looked to stretch out as best she could while she watched her opponent start to come back to her feet. The second Emma was upright, the former No Surrender Champion began to snap off stiff kicks to her thighs before she left her feet and caught Emma with an enzuigiri to the back of the head, dropping her down to one knee. Emma held her head as she stayed on her knees for a moment before she rose to her feet again but as she did so, Savannah launched herself towards her and drove the top of the Glaswegian’s head into the canvas with a jumping DDT. Emma held her head as she landed while Star also lay on the mat, with a look of discomfort on her face as she slid a hand beneath her to hold her back again.

Zack: You can see all the damage Emma perpetrated on Savannah’s back, it’s slowed her down in every way possible tonight.

Valerie: Which is exactly what Emma wants! If Savannah can’t keep pace, that’s exactly where Emma needs her.

The referee checked on both and as she did so, Savannah sat up and began to rise while Emma pushed up to all fours. Star made it to her feet first and stalked her rising foe, running towards the ropes as the Glaswegian made it upright and used them to springboard off the ropes and onto her shoulders, snapping off a reverse frankensteiner that planted the top of Emma’s head into the mat. Quickly Star hooked both legs and stacked her opponent up to make the cover.

Zack: Emma got planted on top of her head, Savannah’s gonna pick her poison!

One…

...THRE--

Valerie: My head hurt just watching that! And a lesser person might have thrown it in after that, but Emma is not that person.

Emma kicked out of the pinfall and once more sent Savannah stumbling backwards towards the ropes. Star found her balance quickly but continued to move backwards, dropping back to the ropes and bouncing off them to catch Mackenzie as she came to her knees with a busaiku knee strike to the jaw. The Glaswegian fell back to the canvas and the blonde headed towards the ropes again, using them to launch herself into the Dancing Mad springboard 450 splash. Quickly she made the cover and hooked the leg as she did so.

Zack: There’s DANCING MAD, one of her favorites!

One…

Two…

...THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!NNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Valerie: That close! THAT close! Savannah is raging!

Davis waved off the count immediately as Emma’s shoulder came up at the final moment. Savannah rolled over and sat up and stared at the referee in disbelief as she once more waved off the three count, starting to shake her head slowly, looking down at Emma before Star came to her feet and began to stomp down on her body. The referee told the American to back up and let her opponent get up to her feet only for the No Surrender Champion to ignore it. It caused the official to began the count, getting right to the cusp of disqualifying her before Star stepped back, just for long enough to satisfy Davies before she dropped to her knees and wrapped her hands around her foes throat to choke her out. It caused Davies to yet again call for the break and start the count, once more seeing it get pushed to the limit and rather than disqualify Star she went to pull her away from the Scottish wrestler. Savannah spun around as she came to her feet and got straight into the referee’s face, telling her it was a three count and that she should be raising her hand right now while Davis shook her head, telling it was a two count and that she would disqualify her if she had too.

Zack: Star’s giving the referee a piece of her mind, but I’ve never seen a wrestler win an argument with the official.

Valerie: Neither have I! And it never ends well for the person doing the arguing!

While this was going on, Emma was trying to catch her breath. A moment later she rolled to the side and saw Savannah railing against the referee and scrambled towards her, grabbing hold of Star’s legs and rolled her backwards to the mat as though she was going for the pinfall. Savannah rolled through and came through to her feet only for Emma to catch her with an asiatic spike, driving her thumb into her windpipe. Star staggered backwards, grasping hold of her throat and Mackenzie pulled her downwards into a small package.

Zack: The Asiatic spike right to the throat! I’ve seen that move win matches before, and it may be about to do it again!

One…

Two…

...THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!NNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Valerie: But also not what happens here!

Savannah kicked out in the nick of time, still choking for breath as she started to come to her feet only for Mackenzie to catch her with a spinning roundhouse kick to the side of the head. It dropped Star momentarily back down to her knees and as she started to push upwards, Emma charged towards the ropes, bouncing off them and came back to catch the former No Surrender Champion with the Playing with Scissors headscissors DDT that drove her down into the mat. Quickly the Glaswegian made the cover, hooking the legs as she did so.

Zack: Emma’s PLAYING WITH SCISSORS, and it could be about to net her the win!

One…

Two…

...THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Valerie: And that is why you DON’T play with scissors, kids! I’ve been waiting years to say that!

The referee called for the bell as Emma rolled away and sat up as Ryan slid into the ring and went straight for her helping her to her feet. Davies and Ryan raised her hands in the air before Emma leaned up against Ryan.

Kat: Here is your winner, by way of pinfall…. EMMA MACKENZIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Zack: Congratulations to Emma, who now has a very interesting choice to make in the new year. She worked hard for it though, no question about it.

Valerie: Absolutely no questions to be asked here! Well done, auld yin!

Savannah rolled to the apron and sat up, leaning back against the ropes as she held her head with one hand, still breathing deeply. Meanwhile Ryan raised his wife’s hand once more and made the title belt motion with his other hand around her waist as the show cut elsewhere.

A video recap shows the history between Nevaeh and Stacey, and how Mara and Harley got involved along with Valerie and Elizabeth. The show cuts back to the ring to see Kyle standing next to Kat as if he’s waiting for something.

Zack: Valerie, how many times have you been involved in a match like this with elimination rules? How does your planning go differently from a standard tag match?

Valerie: To my memory...once. In FFW. In 2011. Was FFW vs SVW and Carys, who presented as male at the time, eliminated me. That was an interesting night! But honestly, the hardest thing about an elimination match is when it all starts to come out in the numbers game against you.

Kat: The following is a 6 woman elimination tag team match, where the only way to win is to be the last woman or women on your team not to be eliminated.

Kyle takes the microphone from there as “99 Problems” by Jay-Z starts to play.

Kyle: I’ll handle the introductions for my team, if you don’t mind. Let’s start with the One Percenter who could buy and sell everyone of you no matter the price.

Valerie McKinley makes her way out from behind the curtain and stands in the immediate center of the stage, standing in the gold spotlight. Clad in a mid-thigh length leather jacket worn open over her gear, Valerie looks around at the crowd showering her with a rousing chorus of boos. The strobe lights begin to lessen in intensity as the pair makes their way down the aisle, her arms at her side and a focused look on her face. As she makes her way to the ring, the fans on either side of the aisle make their displeasure at her appearance rather noticeable, which Valerie simply dismisses with an arrogant flip of her hand.

Kyle: From Providence, Rhode Island and one half of a tag team that dominated two divisions for the better part of two years…..VALERIE McKINLEY!!!

With her head bowed, she lifts both arms up towards her head and has her pointer finger and thumb on both hands close to her head. She lifts her head up and extends her arms out, her fingers pointing out at the crowd like pistols. She then makes a motion like she was firing her finger guns at the crowd before turning around to see Kyle already holding the ropes open for her. She steps through the open ropes and into the ring.

Once in the ring, she walks around with her arms extended outward, reveling in the heat from the crowd. She walks over to the corner and peels off her jacket, letting it drop to the apron as the lights return to normal and her music fades out. She rests her back against the turnbuckles and brushes a few stray strands of hair out of her face, awaiting the start of the action.

Kyle: And now her tag team partner, a woman who could have anyone she wanted but don’t get your hopes up...none of them are any of you.

Out from the back emerges the beautiful Elizabeth Lannister. Stepping out onto the stage, she promptly twirls around slowly, showing off the intricate work on her robe. Dropping his hand, Elizabeth nods and starts to walk down the aisle. Elizabeth’s gold and red robe flowing with each step she took, completely ignoring the fans on either side of her. As she walks, the spotlight changes so that the entire arena is soon engulfed in gold light.

Kyle: I give to you the “Lioness” of the Gold Standard, none other than ELIZABETH LANNISTER!!!

Once she reaches the ring she begins to climb the steel steps, with Kyle holding the ropes open for her. She carefully climbs through the opened ropes and steps into the middle of the ring, flipping her hair over her shoulders and sticking her arms out to the sides, her head tilted back, a confident smirk etched on her angelic features. She then returns her head to it’s normal position and unclasps her robe, shrugging it off as Kyle reaches forward to carefully hand it to a nearby stagehand. She then moves her arms back and forth to loosen up as the lights return to normal.

Kyle: And last but certainly not least, she is the next FFW Phoenix Champion if I have anything to say about it….

Stacey Sky steps out onto the stage wearing her ring gear which consists of a black bra-style top, with gold trim. A black and gold cheerleader style skirt, and black boots with a gold trim.  She stops at the start of the ramp and runs her hands down her sides until she reaches her hips and then stands with her hands on hips for a moment, before she starts moving towards the ring.  She raises her finger to her mouth and tilts her head to one side. Then she sways her hips, lowering herself down at the same time, before popping back up and blowing a kiss from one side to the other.

Kyle: The only good thing to ever come out of Anaheim, California, she is a former Future Shock Champion and will be holding gold again soon…..’SENSATIONAL’ STACEY SKY!!

She takes off at a run towards the ring and then jumps up onto the apron, where she immediately drops down into the splits. She leans forwards and grabs hold of her foot, lowering her head so she can roll under the bottom rope, still in the splits. Once in the ring, she moves up to her knees, throwing her head back as she does. She licks her lips and gives a devilish smile out to the crowd.  She gets to her feet and goes to her corner, climbing up, she sits on the top turnbuckle with her legs crossed and shares a few last minute words with her manager on the apron as she awaits the start of the match. Kyle hands the microphone back to Kat, who shakes her head before she resumes.

Zack: Kyle brought the Gold Standard out as a unit tonight, and he didn’t short anyone on compliments either. We’ve seen how well he gets his girls prepared for tag matches, so I have no doubt these three women are as well oiled of a machine as you could ask for.

Valerie: Of that, I have absolutely no doubt at all! Those girls work bloody hard together, anyone who doubts that is an idiot. It’s basically the entire reason that they’re the favourites to win the match.

Kat: And their opponents…..

"I'm only human
I'm only—I'm only—
I'm only human, human

“Human” by Rag’n’Bone Man starts to play over the soundsystem as the video screen shows a jail cell door sliding backwards and a pair of black ring boots with legs going all the way up to a simple blue skirt step out onto the landing only to suddenly stumble as if given a push in the small of the back from the man who appeared behind her in shiny black shoes and black pants.

Maybe I'm foolish,
Maybe I'm blind
Thinking I can see through this
And see what's behind
Got no way to prove it
So maybe I'm lying

As the pair pass by, the camera gets a shot from behind before it cuts to more grainy CCTV footage that shows the guard escorting the raven haired prisoner across a prison yard of patchy grass and into another building. There’s another cut as we see a shot of exposed midriff on the other side of a counter that has a pack of gum, some loose change on it and a hair bobble on it. A hand reaches forward, picking up a pen and signs a name quickly before scooping up the possessions as she stiffly pushed to move onwards.

But I'm only human after all,
I'm only human after all
Don't put your blame on me
Don't put your blame on me

There’s another cut; this time to show the back of the black haired woman as she reaches up to tie her long loose hair back with the bobble while still walking forward, coming to a stop in front of a large closed door. The camera cuts to the opposite side of the door and low down, watching as it swung open and the woman stepped out; only for the blazing sun to obscure her face and body; the video screens becoming a blazing yellow-white sun glare with a spotlight shining bright as the same woman has appeared at the top of the entrance ramp. The spotlight dims to reveal Mara Werth standing there in her black boots, blue skirt and white vest top.

Take a look in the mirror
And what do you see?
Do you see it clearer
Or are you deceived
In what you believe?

Kat: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome from Tuscaloosa, Alabama… MARA WERTH!!!

'Cause I'm only human after all,
You're only human after all
Don't put the blame on me
Don't put your blame on me

With a smile on her face she begins to head down the ramp to the ring, running up the ring steps. She moved down the apron, facing out to the crowd and threw her arms up into the air before she stepped through the ropes. Heading to the corner, the girl carefully stepped up onto the middle ropes, throwing her hands up into the air again before she bounced back onto her feet and stretched as she waited for the match to start."

Zack: Mara arrived on the FFW roster in her own hometown of Tuscaloosa, and she’s been on a roll ever since. She just recently earned herself a shot at the Phoenix title too, much to the chagrin of Stacey Sky in particular.

Valerie: I can vouch for how...absolutely fantastic a wrestler Mara is, and the fact she’s gotten herself on the ladder already is also proof of that. She is going to be one the brightest stars of this company as we move forward.

As Seven Notes in Black by the Vince Tempera Orchestra begins to play, Harley Shannon appears on the stage wearing a leather jacket over her ring attire, with her tied up in a bun, held in place with a pair of chopsticks. Harley stands quietly in the spotlight as the song stops playing.

Kat: Weighing in at 122 lbs, standing 5’6” tall and coming from Hanover, New Hampshire...HARLEY SHANNON!!!

After a couple of moments of silence the song starts up once more - with a more eerie tone and at that moment Harley starts off down the ramp, shedding her leather jacket before reaching back and pulling the chopsticks out of her hair and shaking her head to let her bright, flame red hair fall down around her shoulders. As she got to the bottom of the ramp, the girl picked out a young fan at ringside, giving the chopsticks to the fan before she slides into the ring and pops to her feet. Heading for the corner, Harley climbs to the middle rope, throwing her hands up in the air to get cheers from the fans before she drops back down to the canvas and waits for the match to begin.

Zack: Harley Shannon is gonna make a lot of history in her career, I feel. She has all the tools necessary to achieve any goals she wants, but tonight the goal has to be keeping her head on a swivel trying to keep all three of her opponents in front of her.

Valerie: She does, and I wouldn’t be surprised if she went far, either. All she can do when she’s not in the ring is stand with either Nevaeh or Mara and make sure things don’t go down. Having someone to neutralise Kyle wouldn’t have gone amiss either.

As “Rise” by Sixx A.M. we see the arena lights blinking in sync with the lyrics of the music. Nevaeh Summers eventually storms her way onto the stage , fired up, and motioning to the crowd, before stopping at the top of the ramp and looking out at the people. Nevaeh is wearing yellow rimmed sunglasses as well as a white Poisoned by Ivy military jacket with yellow trim. As we keep looking at Nevaeh we see she is wearing yellow colored leather pants running down her leg. The side of each leg is laced up with white colored fabric, showing of her skin. On her feet we see black boots and white kickpads. On the front of each kickpad appears her logo as there is a circle with “NS” in the center of it in Yellow. While “The" scrolls on the top and “Finest” scrolls on the bottom, also in yellow.

Nevaeh looks around the building, nodding her head, as she starts feeling the crowd. “Feel that energy” is what can be heard coming from Nevaeh as she goes about heading down the ramp halfway and begins pointing her left hand out to the crowd and moves it around as if she was conducting them. The crowd moves from left to right, linking arms. Nevaeh then points to the opposite side of the crowd with her right hand, urging that side of the building on the same way, to which they do. Nevaeh lowers her head, her hands still swaying to the crowd till she raises her head up and snaps her arms out to the side.

As Nevaeh strikes her signature pose a row of pyro goes off next to her, starting far out and rushing close to her, before a big unified explosion happens behind her. Nevaeh now lowered her head back down and looked towards the ring and began walking down the ramp with a purpose.

Nevaeh reaches the bottom of the ramp and goes about slapping hands with the fans. Nevaeh now heads to the opposite side and slaps a few more hands before removing her sunglasses and just casually tosses them out towards the crowd. Nevaeh than quickly runs to the ring, sliding in under the bottom rope, and gets to a knee. Nevaeh just looks out for a moment before getting to her feet and shimmies out of her jacket.

Nevaeh then approaches the middle of the ropes facing the hard camera. Nevaeh climbs up them, hooking a leg over the top rope and straddling it. Nevaeh now sits there and looks out to the capacity crowd. Nevaeh pats the title around her waist quickly and than began motioning to the crowd to get louder, which they do. She eventually lowers her head and starts motioning her arms as if she's conducting them again. This time we zoom out and capture the front row all around motioning along with her.

Kat: Residing in Los Angeles, California by way of Atlanta, Georgia. She weighs in tonight at 120 pounds. She is Nevaeh Summers!!!

As soon as Kat is done Nevaeh snaps her head back and her arms out. Multiple spotlights soon shift down onto her, basking her in the light. Nevaeh keeps striking the pose till she sees fit. Once she has she gets off the ropes and makes her way to the opposite side of the ring where she puts one foot on the bottom rope and the other on the middle. She bounces on them while looking out to the crowd and stretches her arms out yet again, encouraging them to get louder.

Nevaeh bounces off the ropes and lands on her feet. She starts psyching herself up as she paces back and forth along a corner.

Zack: Nevaeh made history at Unstoppable 12 when she became the Phoenix Champion. And she’s been a fighting champion, but she may be feeling like she just stepped into the shark tank with all these women across from her and one next to her who wants that title.

Valerie: Well she wouldn’t be wrong in feeling that way, I’d feel some type of way about having three of the Standard in front of me too. But then again I also have the advantage of having been a team player.

Referee Melinda Davis checks all the girls for hidden objects, and calls for the bell. But none of the Gold Standard have left the ring yet, though it’s clear that Harley was starting for her team. She remained in her corner too as the referee tried to encourage two of the Gold Standard girls to leave for the apron, but none of them were listening. Instead they were listening to their manager, who was already on the floor at ringside. Davis started to get more adamant now.

Zack If the referee can keep order in this match with all six of these women and Kyle at ringside, she should be in line for a hell of a raise. Right now, she’s trying to get two of them on the apron. And Harley’s doing the right thing...staying away till they do.

Valerie: It’s the only thing she can do at this point, sadly. And it’s so incredibly frustrating to know that your opponents would much prefer to waste time than get on with it.

Finally it would be Stacey who started for the team as Valerie and Elizabeth stepped onto the apron in their corner. The blonde rolled her head on her shoulders and waved Harley forward before they aggressively locked up in the center. Stacey pushed the former Fast Track Champion into the neutral corner. When the referee tried to get between them for the break, that’s when Sky caught Harley with an elbow smash to the side of the head. Davis started getting on her case before Harley headed out of the corner with Stacey backing up. The two started trading blows from there before Harley fired Stacey into that same corner, and followed her with a running shoulder tackle to the body. A couple quick thrusts to Stacey’s body landed before the blonde grabbed her into a front facelock for a series of knee lifts into her head. It sent Harley backwards a couple steps, and Stacey threw her to the mat with a hair mare.

Zack: Arguably Stacey might be the last one you’d want to start things off with, because of her temper. It doesn’t take much to set her off, and Harley’s holding her own so far.

Valerie: On the opposing side to that, however, she might also be the best one. If she gets angry and uses it to cause damage, she’ll wear herself out faster. So it might work if you’re the fan favourites here.

Shannon got back to her feet, and Stacey tried to catch her with a right cross. But Harley ducked behind her, and scooped her up for an atomic drop that propelled her into her team’s corner. Before she could get away, she caught an elbow to the top of her head from Mara and then Nevaeh before she turned back around into a third from Harley that finally put her on the mat. Shannon tagged Mara, and they both grabbed the top rope so Harley could slingshot Werth over it into a leg drop across Stacey’s chest.

Valerie: That’s our first tag of the night, and it should surprise no one that the first tag was between friends. Also into this teamwork going on.

Zack: Best friends at that, Valerie. On top of that, no one in that corner knows Stacey better than Mara! They spent more than a little bit of time fighting for Future Shock’s top prize!

Mara got to her feet about a half second before Stacey, and the two locked eyes for a moment and immediately went to trading bigh right hands at one another’s heads. The Houston crowd made plenty of noise as they laid into each other before Mara fired Stacey across for the ride. She scooped her up on the rebound with a spinebuster, and quickly rolled to her feet. The fans got louder as Werth dropped down to a knee near the ropes, and barreled towards Sky at top speed with a running shoulder tackle that flipped her to the mat. Werth dove on top of her for the cover.

Zack: Mara’s bringing that explosive power, and looking for the first elimination right here!!

ONE!!

Stacey kicked out aggressively as soon as the one count landed, and got back to her feet until Mara hooked her head into a front facelock. Sky tried to shake her off, but Mara’s grip was too strong. Instead she drove her backwards into the corner, and shot a palm thrust into her throat.

Valerie: And Stacey was having none of it! Not that it’s stopping Mara from ragdolling her!

Sky fired another shot into her throat to keep her coughing and choking before she whipped her across to the far corner. Werth landed chest first just as Stacey charged in behind her with a backstabber that flipped her over to the mat. She rolled on top of her, and started laying in furious right hand punches to her head as the referee told her to let Mara up. Stacey got back to her feet, and shoved the referee on her ass before grabbing Werth by the hair…..only to get a jawbreaker from the former convict.

Valerie: I’m not sure what Stacey was trying to accomplish, but it has certainly backfired, whatever it was.

Zack: The cheerleader is already skirting with getting herself disqualified in this match for shoving the referee. She needs to calm herself down, maybe have a decaf coffee!

It caused the blonde to stumble against the ropes before Mara used a dropkick that sent her through them and rolled out to the floor. Feeling the energy of the crowd, Mara climbed up to the top rope overlooking Stacey on the floor. And it looked like she was about to jump before Valerie and Elizabeth hopped down and stood on the floor between her and Mara. Lannister waved her to go ahead and jump.

Zack: Boy, that’d be the wrong side of the ring for Mara to get into a fight with Stacey, let me tell you. The “Lioness” and Valerie both are daring her to do it!

Valerie: That would definitely be a case of a fight she would likely not win, and I think she knows it. However I don’t get the impression that not jumping would end well either.

With the crowd urging her on, Mara shrugged her shoulders and came off with a cross body block that took both Elizabeth and Valerie down to the floor. The fans appreciated it, but Mara was barely able to get up before Stacey was on her, grabbing her head and bouncing it off the steps repeatedly. She shoved her against them as all three women started putting the boots to her, stomping at her head and body. Nevaeh and Harley hopped down off the apron to go around after their partner just as Valerie and Elizabeth met them, the four starting to fight on the floor as Stacey was blatantly choking Mara with both hands and battering her head back and forth into the steps.

Zack: Mara picked up the 7-10 split, but whoo boy, did she turn over a hornet’s nest! Here comes Nevaeh and Harley, and you can’t really blame them.

Valerie: Most certainly not! And not a moment too soon! We all knew something like this would happen, it was a case of when.

The referee went to the floor, and got in front of Harley and Nevaeh to demand they go back to their corner. The two plead their case with her about it, and Valerie and Elizabeth seized the opportunity behind the referee’s back. Elizabeth pulled the ringside mat back, and allowed Stacey to use a belly to belly suplex on Mara, slamming her back against the floor. The referee was still trying to get Nevaeh and Harley back to their corners as Stacey rolled back into the ring. Finally, the two returned to their corner and the referee got back inside. Valerie pulled Mara up, and tossed her into the ring, telling Davis she was just helping her back inside.

Valerie: Valerie McKinley is a lot of things, but truthful in this instance is not one of them! What do I know, though? Not like this hasn’t happened a million times before.

Zack: The only silver lining for Mara is that this match is back in the ring again. She was getting mugged on the floor.

Stacey stomped her a few more times before making the tag to Valerie. The redhead checked into the match by dragging Mara to the Gold Standard corner, hopping onto the middle rope to drop both knees into Werth’s chest. A foot choke was held for a four count before she tagged Elizabeth into the ring. Together, they each grabbed her arms and legs, and threw her into the air to let her drop back down to the mat with a thud. Lannister connected with a knee drop to her head before tagging Valerie once more. The “Lioness” grabbed Mara’s feet and catapulted her into a discus elbow to the mouth from Valerie.

Valerie: Thanks to all that outside, the momentum has very much changed to the Standard’s favour, and as we expected, the teamwork from those women is second to none.

Zack: Every member of the Gold Standard in this match has gotten their shots in on Mara, and she desperately needs to see about getting herself a tag sooner than later.

Valerie said something to her partners as she scooped Mara up over her shoulder. Stacey and Elizabeth put a foot up each on the top turnbuckle, and let McKinley ram Mara head first into them like a battering ram before she crumpled against the corner. The One Percenter made the tag to Elizabeth, who bolted for the far side and came back with a knee trembler to the back of Mara’s head, dropping her to the mat so Elizabeth could make the cover.

Zack: Like them or not, this is unparalleled teamwork with Elizabeth looking for the first elimination!

ONE!!

TWOOOOOOOOOO!!!

T-NO!!

Nevaeh made the save with a stomp to the back of Elizabeth’s head, prompting the referee to get on her case and try to get her back to the corner. As that went on, Lannister hung Mara’s neck over the middle rope while Stacey choked her against it from the outside.

Valerie: I know we all love to talk about the Standard as a force when it comes to working together, but can we talk about this...almost insane ability to always get something in when the back is turned? It’s not really Nevaeh that the referees should be concerned with.

After getting the Phoenix Champion back to her corner, Davis turned around to see Elizabeth merely applying a rear chinlock on Mara. Both Stacey and Valerie were back on the apron in the corner, looking as calm as possible. The referee knelt next to Mara before the former convict finally started to get up. Elizabeth kept the hold applied, trying to bring her back to the mat before Werth began firing elbows into her abdomen. It finally shook her loose, and Mara used a bell clap to disorient her. Both her partners were calling for her with their hands out for the tag, but Elizabeth came forward to grab her….only to get caught with a neckbreaker that put them both on the mat. It was Mara who began to move first, and her partners were leaning over the top rope with both hands out, encouraging her to get to them.

Zack: Mara’s made of some stern stuff, because she won’t stay down for anything. But you can see her partners with both hands out, take your pick! She just has to get there.

Valerie: She needs to get out, entirely. And whoever takes her place needs to give her the longest break that can be thought of.

Mara started heading for the corner as both her partners were imploring her to get to them. Elizabeth was back up too, and she darted past Mara to deliver a kick to Harley’s chest to send her off the apron! But as she turned back, Nevaeh grabbed her and started hammering forearms into her head from the apron. Once again, the referee had to get between them while Stacey stepped into the ring behind them and pulled Mara by her foot back to their corner before Elizabeth finally let go of Nevaeh, thereby getting the referee from between them.

Valerie: How many times does this need to happen before Nevaeh realises that all she’s doing is playing the game the Standard want her to play? I get this whole thing about proving you’re a team player, but right now it’s just not helping.

Zack: Elizabeth attacked her first, so one could say she was only defending herself. But I get your point. I’m curious how the referee thinks Mara got back to the other team’s corner all on her own.

A baseball slide sent Mara back to the floor again, and she quickly tagged Stacey. But the blonde didn’t get into the ring, instead she dropped down to get Mara with a running bulldog into the steps. Then she tossed her back inside to make the cover.

Zack: This may be the end of the night for Mara. I don’t see how she’s gonna make it.

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THRE-NO!!

Harley made the save this time, dropping an elbow across the back of Stacey’s head and immediately rolling out of the ring before the referee could get onto her. Stacey scowled at the former Fast Track Champion as she got to her feet.

Valerie: Because the Gold Standard aren’t the only ones who can work together! But seriously, GET MARA A BREAK! At this point, I don’t much care if it’s elimination or a tag.

Stacey pulled Mara’s arms behind her as she was trying to get up, and started stomping the back of her head repeatedly. She finally dropped her and headed towards a neutral corner, where she took off the turnbuckle pad and tossed it to the floor. She scooped Mara on her shoulder, looking to deliver a snake eyes...till Davis spotted it and stood in front of that corner. Stacey told her to move, then yelled at her to do it before Mara slid to her feet behind her, scooped her up onto her shoulders and fell backwards with an electric chair. The Houston fans responded loudly as she glanced towards her corner and then threw an arm across Stacey for the cover.

Zack: Mara saw her corner, but she wanted to get them an elimination….if she can!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THRREE-NOOO!!

Stacey popped her shoulder off the mat, and Nevaeh and Harley once again were stretching over the top rope looking for the tag. The fans were almost begging to make one too as she started heading in that direction.

Valerie: The fans want the tag, her partners want the tag, I want the damn tag and I’m pretty sure the only people who don’t are Kyle and his charges!

Stacey was starting to move now as well. She sat up holding the back of her head for a moment, while Kyle shouted that Mara was getting to her corner. She scrambled to her feet, grabbing Werth by the foot before she got there. Mara struggled back to her foot, hopping on it before nailing Stacey with an enzuigiri. They both hit the mat again, and Mara glanced between Stacey and her corner the second time as both partners told her to tag them instead of going for the win.

Zack: I like Harley and Nevaeh’s idea here. Let them go for the cover, or at least continue the match, Mara! You’re almost there!

Valerie: Couldn't agree more! If she pins Stacey, that’s fine, but that puts her in serious danger of going straight out herself, which is likely given the condition she’s in.

Mara took their advice, and crawled towards the corner when Stacey started moving again. She reached up, and tagged the closest hand to her: Nevaeh’s. And the fans ROARED as the Phoenix Champion hit the ring, taking off for the far side and catching Stacey as she was getting up with a roaring elbow to the mouth. She was about to pull her up when the referee stopped her, telling her to get out of the ring. The show cut to instant replay to see Valerie was stepping through the ropes during the tag, and Davis had gone to stop her.

Valerie: FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS GOOD! Mara just is not catching a break!

Zack: Mara can’t have much left, there’s no way!

Stacey got her bearings as the referee was getting onto Nevaeh, and scooped Mara up into her sitout scoop slam piledriver! Nevaeh finally got out of the ring as the referee turned around, and slid into position.

Zack: SENSATIONAL SUFFERING!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

Kat: MARA WERTH has been eliminated!!!

Nevaeh didn’t make it back into the ring in time before the three count, and let out a yell. As soon as Stacey was back to her feet, Nevaeh hit the ropes and took her down with a Thesz press followed by thunderous right hands to the head!

Valerie: Anyone wanna call the police here? ‘Cause we just had a massive friggin’ robbery on our hands!

Nevaeh hopped back to her feet, and charged the corner to catch Valerie with a dropkick to send her off the apron. She unloaded with rights to Elizabeth, sending her down to the floor too. When she spotted Stacey beginning to get up again, Summers vaulted towards her with a Fameasser before rolling her over for the cover!

Zack: Nevaeh is absolutely a house on fire right now! She’s gonna send Stacey to the back right here!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NO.

Valerie yanked her off the cover from the outside, causing Nevaeh to roll onto her back and start kicking the redhead in the face to get free. The Phoenix Champion got to her feet, still fired up as she waved Stacey to get up too.

Valerie: Nevaeh is not a happy woman, and for good reason! Long as that temper doesn’t get her in trouble, though.

Stacey finally made it to her feet, and Nevaeh whipped her across to the far side. She scooped her up on the rebound for a stun gun across the top rope, but it was too close to her corner and she was able to tag Elizabeth on the way down. The cheerleader hit the mat, gasping for breath. And Nevaeh hopped to her feet, only to hear someone already coming behind her. Elizabeth hit the far side ropes, and left her feet as Nevaeh turned for her running jumping DDT. She planted her head first, and went for the cover!

Zack: She never saw the tag!! RAINS OF CASTAMERE!! It’s gonna be 3-1!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NO!!!

The referee never completed the count, because Harley snatched Elizabeth around the waist and delivered a German suplex. Shannon bolted out of the ring back to her corner before the referee could get on her case.

Valerie: The Gold Standard have had most of the falls on the side of winning in the match but every time they do, they seem to forget that Harley and Nevaeh are still both at ringside, so it’s not a shock that these saves keep happening!

Elizabeth started heading for her corner next, looking to make the tag as Harley was bouncing on the bottom rope wanting to get back into the match. Lannister made it, and tagged Valerie back into the mat. As soon as the redhead was in the ring, Nevaeh was beginning to get up. She scooped the champion up into position for what looked like a piledriver, but Summers countered with a back body drop instead. She was still woozy from Elizabeth’s finisher though, and sat up on her knees to get herself together. Kyle was whispering something into Stacey’s ear as she leaned down on the apron.

Zack: That DDT of Elizabeth’s has won her many a match, and it certainly put the fire out in Nevaeh’s belly as a result. She needs to get to Harley, because I wouldn’t want to be 1 against those three women, for sure.

Valerie: Absolutely not. Maybe quickly, too. I think Kyle and Stacey are planning something.

Lannister made it to the corner, and tagged in Stacey next. And the former cheerleader looked beside herself as she went on the attack with Nevaeh. She used a running knee to send her backwards into the ropes before pelting her with right hands to the head. Sky whipped Nevaeh to the far side, but Summers reversed it. Stacey stopped herself before she hit the corner, and turned around into a codebreaker that sent her to the mat. Summers glanced around to see where her corner was, and started heading in that direction. Harley had her arm out as far as she could reach for the tag.

Zack: Stacey wants another round with Nevaeh, but she wants the title on the line when she gets it! Tonight, it’s just about punishing her….but that plan just went awry!

Valerie: Completely and utterly! Right now I’m really beginning to see shades of the Nevaeh who honestly terrified a large portion of the roster. And if that’s what happens, this roster better start shaking again. But right now, the Gold Standard should do that too!

Nevaeh finally made the corner, and got the tag. A very fresh Harley hopped over to the top rope, catching a rising Stacey with a running kneelift to her face. It wobbled her backwards before Shannon yanked her forward into a ripcord knee strike to the jaw. The former cheerleader dropped to her knees. Stacey tried to get to her feet, only to eat a flash kick followed by a roundhouse kick with a backwards thrust kick to the jaw after Stacey collapsed back to her knees.

Zack: There’s THE ERUPTION!!! She’s won virtually all of them with that! Make the---WAIT!!

Valerie: Doesn’t look like she’s gonna win this part of the match with it right now though!

Harley didn’t have time to make the cover as Valerie hit the ring, trying to prevent that very thing. It didn’t work out all that well though as Harley ducked her, and dropped her with a spinebuster instead. Shannon hit the ropes, using them for a springboard double knee drop to Valerie’s body as Stacey rolled back to her corner to make the tag to Elizabeth. The referee tried to get Valerie out of the ring as Elizabeth came in from the blind side off the ropes, looking to catch Harley the same way she did Nevaeh. But as she went for her running jumping DDT, Harley hooked the top rope and Lannister hit the mat instead.

Zack: Harley Shannon has next level ring awareness! Lannister was looking to do to her what she did to Nevaeh minutes ago, but Shannon says she’s seen that trick!

Valerie: She has seen it, too! You’re gonna pul the same trick multiple times, at least give it more than a couple of minutes before doing it! That was not the smartest move Elizabeth has made.

Kyle was more animated now as Harley was back to her feet, and looked to be getting concerned with Harley’s energy level. That’s when Valerie came back into the ring, but this time armed with a chair. She caught her flush across the back before she could turn around, and the referee called for the bell. Harley collapsed to the mat, and the referee yanked the chair out of Valerie’s hands.

Kat: VALERIE McKINLEY has been disqualified!!

As the referee demanded she leave the ring, Elizabeth was starting to get up and Nevaeh showed she knew how to work the referee too when she grabbed Elizabeth for her DDT finisher! Harley had time to get herself together, and connected with her trio of kicks for the second Eruption of the night before dropping into the cover.

Zack: That’s the GRAND FINALE!! And one more ERUPTION for good measure!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Kat: ELIZABETH LANNISTER has been eliminated!!

Stacey stepped back into the ring, patting her elbow pad as she waved for Harley to get up. Shannon was very slow to do so, and turned into a running spear from Stacey that folded her in half practically.

Valerie: Nevaeh spent years pulling every trick she could think of, and she’s just shwn the Gold Standard she can probably do a lot of them better! Might need to start taking bac those things about not being great in a team.

Stacey glared at Nevaeh in the corner for a moment before going after Harley, who was still on the mat favoring her back. The cheerleader climbed to the top rope, connecting with her 450 splash and a cover!

Zack: The SKY IS FALLING, and I don’t think Harley’s gonna get up from this!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Kat: HARLEY SHANNON has been eliminated!!

Valerie: And we are one on one! The Phoenix Champion against one of the women who wants her belt! If Stacey ever had a point to make, now would be the time to do so!

Stacey had barely gotten back to her feet after the cover before Nevaeh was on her. She rushed her from behind, and grabbed her head to start slamming it into the top turnbuckle. The fans counted off ten blows before the former cheerleader staggered out of the corner. Nevaeh hopped up onto the second turnbuckle from the inside, shouting her name before Sky turned around into a meteora that drove her into the mat before she hooked both legs for the cover!

Zack: The sky was falling, but it was the meteors that may have done the trick! Nevaeh’s gonna get the job!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE--NOO!!

The former Future Shock Champion got her shoulder up in time before the three came down. The Houston crowd was solidly behind Nevaeh, chanting her name as she got back to her feet and let them know it was time to end it.

Valerie: Meteors nearly took out the remaining woman of the Gold Standard, but it was not to be in this case!

She hoisted Stacey over her shoulders, and went for her GTS. But Stacey landed on her feet, and struck an elbow to her mouth to send her backwards. The Phoenix Champion doubled backwards off balance, and Stacey charged towards her. She went for a discus forearm, but Nevaeh ducked it. Sky was trying to stop herself before she grabbed Stacey again onto her shoulders once again for her GTS. The cheerleader countered though by dropping backwards into a crucifix rollup instead!

Zack: Nevaeh looking for THE MAKEOVER for the second---noo!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NOO!!

Nevaeh got her arm up in time, and glanced at the referee to make sure it was just two when she sat up. Davis confirmed it was, and Stacey reached up and pulled her into her crossface chickenwing submission.

Valerie: If you said you thought Nevaeh was going somewhere, I would have agreed with you right up until this moment! Because right now that is not how this is looking!

Nevaeh immediately began struggling in the hold, trying to find some ropes nearby. Luckily for her, they weren’t far away. She tried to reach for them, but her arms weren’t long enough. So then she kicked her feet, and got one across the bottom rope. Davis called for the break, and Stacey released it at four and a half. She rolled far away from Nevaeh to the other side of the ring, where Kyle huddled with her from the outside.

Zack: Nevaeh got the break she needed from that submission, Stacey’s won titles with that hold and ended one career. Neither one of them can have much left in the tank though.

Valerie: They are both getting some level of a quick reprieve however, seeing as Stacey and Kyle have decided now is the perfect time for a pow wow.

The camera didn’t get a great look, but Kyle was rubbing her elbow when the shot was close enough to see. The cheerleader slowly started to get to her feet finally, and headed towards the rising Nevaeh. The Phoenix Champion kicked her in the gut as she approached, and hooked her head for her DDT finisher.

Zack: Whatever he told her, I don’t think it’s gonna matter! We’re about to see one more GRAND FINALE!!

Valerie: And maybe one that’ll actually--hol’ up!

As Nevaeh was about to land it, Stacey shoved her backwards. The Phoenix Champion got her balance back, and came forward again just before Stacey blasted her full force with her elbow. Summers collapsed like a sack of bricks on the mat as Stacey went for the cover!

Zack: Massive elbow right on the button!! I’ve never seen Nevaeh drop like that before!!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Davis got to her feet, and called for the bell as Stacey pulled something out of her elbow pad and quickly handed it to Kyle. He stuffed it in his pocket, and joined her in the ring to help her up! The referee turned back to raise Stacey’s hand.

Valerie: I was about to say something nice, but I’m about 99.9% sure I just saw something fall out of Stacey’s padding that was not supposed to be there!

Kat: Your winners by pinfall……….’SENSATIONAL’ STACEY SKY, VALERIE McKINLEY, AND ELIZABETH LANNISTER……….THE GOLD STANDARD!!!

Zack: Wait a minute!

Valerie and Elizabeth headed back to the ring, smiling and congratulating Stacey from the floor as she climbed the corner and raised her hand. She told the camera she wanted the title now before hopping back down.

Zack: For months, Kyle accused Nevaeh of having a loaded elbow….and that’s exactly how Stacey just pinned the Phoenix Champion!!

Valerie: I already asked if someone wanted to report that massive robbery on Mara, and I’m going to ask the question again on the entire bleeding team! The irony of all this is not lost on me. Or anyone else that saw it.

Zack: That had to be what she was doing over there at the end, he was stuffing that elbow pad with something. The Gold Standard steals the win in this elimination tag match at Crossed Out.

Valerie: It is the only logical explanation we have there. Which is just...urgh. I’m not gonna say it, I’ll just get more annoyed.

Stacey joined her partners at ringside as they all raised their hands in victory, along with a very pleased Kyle. And then the show cut to an ad for upcoming programming on FFW All Access.

What's To Come

The next thing the viewers see is Amber Carano, who happens to be standing alongside the Director of Future Shock. Adam gives her his full attention as she begins.

Amber: Adam, tonight has proven to be a monumental night for Future Shock. You crowned two new champions, including a new Nova Champion as well as the first Pure Champion.

Adam: If you’ll let me cut in here, I want to congratulate both Angelina and Shaw on their victories tonight. They both earned them, and proved just how fantastic they are at what they do. That Nova title has been a focal point since its inception in Future Shock, and I know Angelina can live up to being a great champion. Shaw, well that goes without saying. In her case, she has the widest target on her back. But that’s how she thrives, and I’ve already got matches lined up for both.

Amber: Really? Care to enlighten us?

Adam: That’s what I’m here to do. I’ve already spoken with Luci, and she was pretty clear that she would like to get a rematch with Angelina to attempt to become a 2 time Nova Champion. And I’ll grant her that when we head to Calgary for the first Future Shock event of 2022. As a matter of fact, I’m going to raise the ante for that match and it’s going to be a ladder match for the first time ever for the Nova Championship.

Amber: Given how fast and furious that match was, I imagine it’s only going to get even more so when those two meet in Calgary.

Adam: That’s exactly what I’m expecting. As for the Pure Championship, I know Shaw is ready and waiting to defend it. But I’m not in the position of giving away title shots. So on the first Future Shock of 2022, I’m going to give two women a chance to earn that title match. Arabella’s been clear that she wants it, so she’ll have a chance to earn another match with Shaw. But she’ll have to get through Valerie McFarlane. Whoever gets their hand raised in that match will be Shaw’s first defense of the new Pure Championship.

Amber: That sounds like a phenomenal match, and I’m sure both women will be ready for it. Thanks for talking with me, Adam. Let’s send it back to the ring.

Next we see Zack in the booth, now joined by Vincent Belmont

Zack: Vincent Belmont will be joining me for the main event. And as Valerie’s manager, this news has to be very welcomed by you.

Vincent: It certainly is, and I am looking forward to seeing it as much as I am preparing her for this match with her. I am a big fan of Miss Townshend.

As Vincent finishes his comments, Zack’s attention gets diverted and he points over to the front row next to the ramp.

Zack: Can we get a shot over there? I just noticed we have company.

The shot shows Kate Steele and members of her band.

Vincent: Well it has been quite a while since I have seen Ms. Steele at a FFW show.

Zack: Looks like Kate bought herself and her band some tickets to see the show tonight. File that under Unexpected.

Vincent: I would concur, Mr. Hudson. But with the main event we have about to take place, I don’t blame her for wanting to see this show at all.

Zack: Let’s go back up to Kat, because our elimination tag match is set to go!

The history between Kelly and Missy is shown dating back to their last meeting at Unstoppable 12, including the training videos for both women. Then we go back to the live show as Kat is standing in the ring.

Kat: The following contest is your main event scheduled for one fall to a finish. It is for the FFW Championship!

Zack: The richest prize in women’s wrestling is about to be on the line in an Unstoppable rematch. I’ve seen and been to some of the biggest fights in sports, and this match ranks up with any of them for me.

Vincent: After seeing their match at Unstoppable in July, I cannot tell you how honored I am that I get to sit here and talk about it with you, Mr. Hudson.

The arena falls dark as the opening of “Blonde, Bad and Beautiful” by Airbourne plays, Kelly explodes upward out of the middle of the stage as though shot out of a cannon, landing a perfect front somersault in a shower of blue sparks. The girl is joined by Christian Kincaid on the stage. Turning to face her husband, she turns to face him, giving him a big hug as she plants a kiss to his lips. As the music starts to pick up pace once more she starts to run toward the ring, performing a quick cartwheel into a handspring before sliding into the ring underneath the bottom rope. Using the momentum to her advantage, the former acrobat forward rolls to her feet and leaps onto the middle rope. She springboards off the ropes into a backflip and heads towards the corner. The former acrobat runs straight up the pads. Stopping on the top turnbuckle she blows a kiss to the fans and corkscrew flips back to the mat, facing the middle of the ring as she lands.

Kat: From Coney Island, Brooklyn, New York, 5’5” tall, weighs 120lbs and is accompanied to the ring by Christian Kincaid. Please welcome...KELLY KINCAID!!!

Zack: Kelly came so very close at Unstoppable, and it was easy to tell how much that match hit her when she came up a hair short. I expect Kelly to be relentless tonight Terminator style when it comes to achieving her goal to be FFW Champion.

Vincent: To be the FFW Champion is undoubtedly the goal of every woman who joins either this roster or through Future Shock. It is the most storied title in women’s wrestling with a lineage that reads like a Who’s Who of this sport. I entirely understand Mrs. Kincaid’s desire to hold it.

The lights in the arena go off before a single purple spotlight hits the stage. As the opening bars of Wild Side by Cross My Heart Hope To Die starts to play Missy appears at the entrance way. Missy stands perfectly still, as her head stays bent, looking towards the ground and her manager Christian Kincaid walks out to stand behind her.

I've been on my best behavior
But I've heard that good girls finish last
And once you're gone they say no one can save you
But who knows if I go I may never want to ever come back
We've all fell victim to temptation
It seems that I'm the last one holding on
What's the use in fighting for my salvation
And why does it feel so damn right to want to be so wrong

At the side of Missy purple lights flash on and off, looking almost like fireworks, as she remains perfectly still. As the lights subside, Missy raises her title high up to the air and a single white spotlight accompanies the move.

I just wanna dance with the devil tonight
I wanna know what it feels like
I wanna close my eyes, put my hands in the sky
I wanna walk on the wild side

Kat: Introducing at this time…. Hailing from Leeds, England, the FFW [insert title] Champion … she is MIIIIISSSSSY!

Missy makes her way down the ramp to the ring keeping her eyes straight ahead, focussing on the ring, with Christian following a few steps behind. When she reaches the ring she slowly climbs the steel steps, surveying the crowd as she does until she reaches the top. She steps onto the apron and gives one final look around before she enters the ring between the top and middle rope. She raises the title in the air again, before leaning over the top rope to share a few last minute words with her manager as her theme music ends.

Zack: When you have the conversation of definitive FFW Champions, Missy has to be in that discussion. She won the title at Unstoppable last year, and has turned every challenge away. That makes it damn hard to bet against her.

Vincent: She is not very far from eclipsing the record of the previous champion. It just goes to show you how extremely gifted and talented you have to get to this level, much less hold that title.

Referee Jennifer Stringer takes the title from Missy, and holds it high over her head. As soon as Kat takes it and leaves the ring, Stringer calls for the bell and the two women go face to face in the center of the ring. At first, no words are spoken. When the talking does begin, it’s Kelly who starts it and whatever she says seems to only make Missy look more determined. When the brunette responds verbally, she ends up surprising Kelly with a headbutt in the face before she starts unloading with furious right hands to the side of her head. Missy barely gets a couple shots in before Kelly begins firing back with shots of her own, and a fistfight erupts to start the match. Missy starts getting the better of that exchange, and delivers a rising uppercut with her elbow to Kelly’s chin. It rocks the blonde backwards before Missy whips her across to the far side, and catches her on the rebound with a running knee to the body. She quickly sends her to the mat with a hair mare, and Kelly is right back up almost immediately.

Zack: I’d have loved to have been able to read lips on what those two were saying to each other, but it doesn’t matter! We’re underway for the richest prize in women’s wrestling

Vincent: I’m sure nothing was said that was savory, but sometimes it helps psych you up a little more. I admit in my competitive days that I tried to get into my opponent’s head just like Mrs. Kincaid was.

Kelly wastes no time before they start trading again, and the challenger gets control on this exchange with the help of an elbow smash to the jaw. Kelly unloads with a few more shots, and sends Missy into the far corner. She follows her in with a running European uppercut that snaps Missy’s head back. The champion gets pulled forward into a belly to belly suplex followed by a springboard leg drop from the former acrobat. As soon as the champion sits up though, Kelly blasts her with a front kick to the back that freezes Missy in place with its power. A few more stomps land on her back before Kelly snatches her up into a rear waistlock, and sends her hurtling into the corner with a German suplex.

Zack: The challenger’s taking the early advantage so far. Kelly’s been working on strengthening her legs, and that spinal kick and the response from Missy showed me it’s paying off.

Vincent: I remember watching that training video not long after Sin & Sacrifice, where Mrs. Kincaid and her husband spoke of the leg training she had been doing. I imagine she kicks even harder now than she ever did.

Missy uses the corner to get to her feet, and Kelly wastes no time in delivering a knee to her body. She quickly grabs the top rope, and starts kicking Missy’s body repeatedly until she literally stomps her to the mat. Kincaid hops onto the middle rope for a basement dropkick into her chest. She took off for the far side, and came back at a fast pace with a cannonball senton into the champion’s body before dragging her out of the corner to make the cover.

Zack: Nothing but hard impact and high speed offense from the challenger, and she’s going for it all here!

ONE!!

T--NO.

Missy got her shoulder off the mat, and Kelly punished her for it by driving elbows into the side of her head. She rolled the FFW Champion onto her stomach, and began driving knees into her ribs rapidly. When the blonde got back to her feet, she used the middle rope for an elbow drop into Missy’s body.

Vincent: Mrs. Kincaid is very adept at switching up styles now. She can fly if that’s what is called for, and she also has picked up a very respectable technical arsenal.

She hopped back to her feet, and took off for the far side again. A baseball slide sent Missy rolling out of the ring to the floor, and Kelly followed her out to the apron. The champion had barely gotten to her feet before Kelly came off the apron with a meteora to her back to drive her face down onto the floor. She followed that by grabbing Missy’s feet under her arms, and using a giant swing to send her body into the barricade. She did that three times before throwing Missy into the ring under the bottom rope.

Zack: I think Kelly’s trying to bust up Missy’s ribcage, Valerie. You wouldn’t know it by watching this match, but these two are tag team champions in another promotion.

Vincent: That is one of the underlying subtexts in this rivalry between them. They are indeed tag champions elsewhere, but they are able to compartmentalize that. Because in 2 days, they have to defend those titles regardless of the outcome here.

Missy was clutching her ribs as she started to get up in the ring. When Kelly hopped up onto the apron, the champion rushed her and delivered a quebrada that sent the challenger back to the floor with a thud. The champion took a second in the ring as she favored her ribs, and then took off for the far side when she saw the blonde starting to get up. Missy dove between the ropes with a Superman punch that floored the blonde, and got back to her feet with a thunderous expression on her face.

Zack: Supergirl never flew any better than that! Missy cleaned Kelly’s clock with that punch, and bad ribs or not, that look on her face tells the story.

Vincent: The FFW Champion can certainly turn on the aggression when she has to, especially as it’s one of her calling cards.

Missy was coughing as she lifted Kelly up, and dropped her chest first across the top of the barricade. And that caused the challenger to start coughing as half of her body was hanging in front of the first row of fans. The champion got under her legs, and snapped her back to ringside with an Alabama slam that sent Kelly spine first into the floor. The brunette watched her for a half second, and hopped up onto the apron next. She let Kelly get onto all fours before Missy came off the apron with her curb stomp! Kelly was muscled up by the shorter woman, and shoved back into the ring. Missy rolled in after her, and made the cover.

Zack: MISCHIEF MAKER from the apron to the floor! Missy’s gonna retain her title!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NO!

Kelly got her shoulder up in the nick of time, and clutched her face as Missy got back to her feet. The champion rolled her over enough to apply a dragon sleeper before falling back to her side to use a body scissors to go with it.

Vincent: This is a brilliant way to counteract someone with Mrs. Kincaid’s speed and agility. It’s very hard to bounce off the ropes if your oxygen supply is being depleted.

The referee moved into position to check for the submission, but Kelly was still too groggy after the curb stomp. The blonde struggled a bit as she tried to free herself from Missy’s grip, but she wasn’t having much success. The referee asked about stopping the match as Kelly then began languidly trying to reach the ropes. They were a little out of reach though, and she started kicking her feet and trying to move them closer to the ropes. She stretched one leg out as far as she could, and got the toe of her boot to touch the bottom rope. Stringer called for the break before Missy shoved Kelly away from her so she could get up.

Zack: Sometimes having long legs can come in handy, and that was certainly the case for Kelly. She does have a few inches in height on the champion.

Vincent: It did in this case, certainly. There’s no reason that our champion can’t pull her to the center of the ring and apply it again though.

Kelly was very disoriented as she tried to get to all fours, and crawled towards the ropes slowly. Missy charged towards her with a punt kick to the ribs that lifted her off the mat briefly, and then dragged her by both feet towards the center of the ring. When she rolled her over, Kelly pulled her knees up and yanked Missy into a small package!

Zack: Kelly’s going for a “Hail, Mary” small package right here!

ONE!!

TWOOO!!

T-NO!

Missy kicked out in advance of the three, and got back to her feet. She rubbed her abdomen for a moment, and dragged the challenger up with her...until Kelly surprised her with a jawbreaker. It stunned the brunette backwards, and Kelly collapsed to a knee as she was still trying to revive.

Vincent: Mrs. Kincaid is trying to get her bearings again. She was stuck in that dragon sleeper for some time.

It didn’t take long for Missy to get her bearings again, and she went straight for Kelly once more. But the former acrobat caught her with a kick to the stomach as she got close, stopping Missy in her tracks before Kincaid hooked her arms for a butterfly suplex that dropped Missy onto those hurt ribs. Kelly rolled away from her, and it was clear now that she was getting herself together again. As Missy made it back to her feet, the challenger caught her flush with a bicycle kick that dropped her like a rock before she made the cover.

Zack: Kelly’s foot was like a cannonball to the chest for the champion, and here’s the cover!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THRE-NO!!

The champion kicked out before three, and the challenger began to get to her feet again. She dragged Missy up to her feet, and then used a gutbuster to fold her up on the canvas. After that, she headed for the corner to make her way to the top rope.

Vincent: Clearly that leg training that we saw weeks ago in her training video is paying dividends tonight for the challenger.

With Missy still favoring her ribs, Kelly launched off the top rope with an elbow drop that landed right on target. The move folded Missy into a ball practically, and Kelly snatched up both of her feet for an inverted Boston crab, putting increasing pressure on Missy’s upper body as a result.

Zack: I haven’t seen that version of the crab in quite a while, but Kelly has adapted it perfectly for her purposes. I just don’t think Missy would tap, she’d go unconscious first.

Vincent: It has been a few years since I’ve seen that particular version of the Boston Crab in FFW, but I’d wager Mrs. Kincaid is just as adept with it as her predecessor.

Stringer knelt beside Missy, asking if she wanted to stop the match. But the champion shook her head as she saw where she was and started trying to make it to the ropes. Kelly let her get close enough to them before she dragged her back into the center of the ring to keep the hold applied tightly. The champion buried her head in her arm as the other hand bobbed over the canvas.

Zack: She’s thinking about it! Kelly has no reason at all to release this hold, and I’m sure she can hold it all night if that’s what it takes for her to achieve her dream.

Vincent: That’s the wonderful thing about most submission holds. They require much less effort to apply than to try to escape. All the challenger has to do is maintain her balance, which she is very adept at.

The referee checked again, still getting the same response from Missy. The FFW Champion pushed up on her hands, and tried to walk on them to the ropes. She moved as fast as she could, and Kelly quickly went to pull her back but Missy grabbed the bottom rope with one hand. Stringer called for the break, and Kelly did just that. She watched as the brunette used the ropes to get to her feet, and went back on the attack again. This time, she approached from behind and dropped her with a full nelson slam before making the cover.

Zack: Everything is targeting Missy’s back, and Kelly tried to put her through the mat right there! Has Kelly achieved her dream?!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NO.

Missy got her shoulder off the mat, and Kelly mounted her from there to pummel her with right hands to the head. It looked as though she were getting frustrated with the champion at this point, but Kelly got back to her feet and headed for the corner.

Vincent: Given how long she has wanted to be FFW Champion, I can certainly understand why she may be a little impatient about wanting to end this. But it’s what you have to expect against one of the best in the world.

She perched herself and watched for a second before launching into a 450 splash...but Missy rolled out of the way. The acrobat hit the mat like a rock as the champion started very slowly to get back to her feet. She leaned against the ropes, one hand clutching her ribs before she darted towards Kelly with a second curb stomp to the back of her head. Then the champion decided to head to the corner.

Zack: Another MISCHIEF MAKER from the FFW Champion! That’s usually the leadup to her frog splash that’s put everyone away!

Vincent: I’m still amazed that the challenger survived the first one. I’m not sure she’s going to withstand the second for much longer though.

Missy was a little slow getting to the top rope due to the damage she had absorbed, but launched herself ultimately and connected with her frog splash! It brought the crowd to life all over again as she hooked Kelly’s leg for the cover.

Zack: LI’L MISS MISCHIEF!! It’s not meant to be, Kelly!!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NO.

Kelly’s shoulder came up just a heartbeat before the referee’s hand hit the mat. Missy looked at Stringer with disbelief, but the referee assured  her Kelly’s arm came up.

Vincent: That’s….that’s the move that has put every challenger away for the champion. I am at a loss for words trying to fathom how Mrs. Kincaid avoided pinfall.

The champion shook her head, getting more determined now as she looked down to Kelly and told her that she had more where that came from. Missy doubled back to the corner again, and made her way to the top rope. The champion left her feet for a second frog splash, but this time, she landed across Kelly’s knees instead. It made the brunette shout in pain as she collapsed into a fetal position on the mat. Kelly started to move again, slowly but surely. By the time she was back to her feet, Missy was starting to do the same until the challenger grabbed her head for her headlock driver and into the cover!

Zack: CLIPPED WINGS!! Kelly pulled it out of the blue! NEW CHAMPION!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NO!

Missy’s shoulder came up barely, stopping the count and this time it was Kelly looking at the referee as if she had grown a second head. The challenger struggled to her feet, not steady on them thanks to all the shots Missy had delivered during the match.

Zack: What does it take?! What does it take to keep one of them down?

Vincent: The only thing that comes to mind that has kept both these women in it after such devastating holds is the sheer force of will that makes them want to be the FFW Champion. That’s all it could be.

Kelly made it to the nearest corner, deciding to go high risk once again. But she didn’t make it far before she spotted Missy beginning to rise. She hopped back down and went to grab her, but the champion ducked her swipe and caught her turning around with a spinning backfist. It staggered Kelly backwards into the ropes before Missy darted towards her, looking for a lungblower. But as she went to drop backwards, Kelly’s arms hooked the top rope and let her crash onto her own back and ribs.

Vincent: That’s a veteran tactic if I ever saw one, Mr. Hudson. The fact that Mrs. Kincaid had the wherewithal to know how close she was to the ropes is remarkable.

Zack: Not to mention that’s doing further damage to Missy’s core, which has been the target of Kelly pretty much from the opening bell.

The blonde glanced from Missy to the corner, and headed towards the corner. She made her way finally to the top rope, and watched as Missy rose to her feet. Kelly delivered a moonsault meteora that crushed the champion into the mat before she grabbed both legs for the cover!

Zack: WHERE DID THAT COME FROM?!  METEOR DROP!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Zack: Well I’ll be damned!! Look who made it to the top of the mountain!!

Stringer called for the bell as the fans rose to their feet yet again. Kelly didn’t believe it at first, causing her to look at her husband and then the referee before she got her hand raised.

Vincent: I have nothing but respect and praise for both of these women, and I can only tip my proverbial hat to Mrs. Kincaid. Let’s allow our ring announcer to make it official.

Stringer handed Kelly the FFW Championship, which brought tears to her eyes as she held it against her chest. She dropped to her knees, and held it against her body as fireworks shot off through the rafters.

Kat: Your winner by pinfall…...AND NEEEEEEEEEEEWWWW FFW Champion…...KELLY KINCAID!!!

Zack: Over 10 years since she walked in the door to FFW, Kelly Kincaid has finally become what she wanted to be from day one…. A decade plus journey for that woman has culminated into being the new FFW Champion!!

Vincent: Well done, Mrs. Kincaid. You have achieved what very few women in the history of this sport have been able to say. And to her opponent, I would rank her as one of the definitive FFW Champions of all time. Whenever they meet again, I hope to be there.

Christian joined his wife in the ring, raising her hand and getting a hug and kiss from her before he knelt down to check on Missy. He helped her to her feet, and slowly Missy clutched her ribs with one hand and offered Kelly her hand with the other. The former acrobat didn’t waste much time in shaking it out of respect.

Zack: I can’t imagine the flood of emotions running through the body of the new FFW Champion, but both she and Missy have a hell of a lot of class! I mean they beat the hell out of each other, and can still shake hands at the end.

Vincent: A sign of two professionals if ever there were one. They are so evenly matched, so very competitive, but still professionals at the end of the day. I have endless respect for that.

Zack: These two women gave us everything in their bodies tonight, and proved what makes them both Hall of Fame talent in FFW...and what makes them both two of the best to have ever done it! Thank you for joining us on a historic night! Good night from Houston! It’s been a hell of a ride!

Kelly kissed her new title, and raised it above her head after climbing the nearest corner. She held it against her to look at her reflection in the faceplate, dotting it with tears as Crossed Out faded off the air on FFW All Access.
