Live from the Adirondack Bank Center in Utica, New York
March 1, 2022

The limousine pulls up outside of a bank somewhere in Boston before the driver opens the door to let Cait Flanagan and Kyle Kilmeade out. She takes his arm, and heads inside and is immediately escorted to a vault filled with stacks of money. But she notices one pedestal set aside for the title she wants most. “Legendary” by Skillet begins to play as someone dashes past the camera, and the pair look out to see whoever it is with the Future Shock Championship.

My heart bleeds adrenaline
The fire I breathe is where I live

It turns out to be Luna Cortez, who darts out of the bank and around a corner at top speed with it in her hands. She doesn’t get far before Anna trips her up, and takes the title away from her with a shake of her head. As she’s looking down at her sister with annoyance, the title gets lifted out of her hand before the woman holding it ducks into a parked car and starts it up. The driver is Jacqui Minogue.

Top, to the top
Ain't never gonna stop
To the top, to the top
Ain't never gonna stop

Jacqui speeds through the streets of Boston till she runs into a familiar woman holding up traffic by standing in the middle of the crosswalk. Jacqui looks closer, and sees it’s Shaughnessy O’Neill who makes a beeline for her car. Minogue locks the doors and rolls up the window before someone else rises up from the backseat...that being Alessandra Esposito. She snatches the title out of the passenger seat, and bolts from the car onto the crowded sidewalks. She only gets so far before she’s spotted. Cait, Jacqui, and Shaw close in on her before a car honks to get her attention. She hops into the Italian sports car, leaving her pursuers in the dust..

Never gonna keep me down (never keep me)
Still the one that's standing now (never falling)
Destiny is calling me
Go down in history
Every day I'll fight to be
Legendary

Watching out the window of one of the nearby buildings at the plight of the would-be champions is a very amused Angelina and Arabella before the show cuts live inside the Adirondack Bank Center. The fans roar as the show goes live, and sparklers shoot around the stage all the way down the ramp until another burst shoots from the ring posts. The camera shows the Future Shock logo on the ring mat before cutting to Zack and Claire at ringside.

Zack: Fresh off a historic night in Calgary, we welcome you to the Adirondack Bank Center…better known as the Aud..here in Utica, New York to the 110th edition of Future Shock! Nearly 6,000 fans have sold out this arena to see the Future Shock girls as well as the fallout from the Calgary Stampede. I’m Zack Hudson, and I’m joined, as always, by Claire Black.

Claire: We’re just two weeks removed from a history making night in Calgary. The first All Access Special of the year certainly got us off to a bang and we’re already building towards the next one - Global Wars! Before we get there, though, we’ve got a stacked card on top here in New York!

Zack: We certainly do. Our main event will feature Jacqui Minogue in the ring facing the #1 contender for the Future Shock Championship right now, Alessandra Esposito. Jacqui promised on Twitter she’d be back in the title conversation, and a win over Alessandra would put her right back at the table. But Alessandra has her rematch for the gold set at Global Wars, so I suspect she’ll come in with both barrels loaded.

Claire: I don’t think either Alessandra or Jacqui are going to be particularly happy tonight. We know Jacqui is always pretty much always angry at the best of times…coming off a loss in a big match two weeks ago is only going to put her in a worse mood. Alessandra, meanwhile, you know she’ll just be chomping at the bit to get back in the ring and start building momentum after the way the Championship was stolen from her.

Zack: We’re going to hear from the only new champion crowned in Calgary, that being the new Future Shock Champion! Sydney Christensen sent her fans home happy, to say the least, and snapped a few setbacks to capture the top prize in Future Shock. She earned it though.

Claire: There is no doubt about that. In one of the most hard fought, hard hitting triple threat matches I’ve seen in a long time, Sydney managed to outlast her opponents in her home town and come away with the top prize. I’m sure this’ll be something of a victory party for her tonight!

Zack: We’re going to see another debut tonight as well. We know there’s been a lot of contracts signed lately, and Sapphire Taylor of the Gemstones makes her in-ring debut. But she’ll be meeting the self-professed Forever Champion Ashley Marie Chase. We saw how she handled her debut in Calgary, and I know Aviva is here tonight and has been lobbying for round two.

Claire: Ashley pretty much summed up everything that the Gold Standard is about in her debut at the Stampede and I’m not at all surprised to hear that Aviva wants a round two against the Socialite. Personally I think she deserves one. However, tonight, I’m interested in seeing what Sapphire is all about and what she’s capable of having seen her band mate in action at Breaking Point.

Zack: Then we got what I feel could easily be called a tag team main event, Claire. It has “show stealer” written all over it when Madyson and Mikayla Stone meet the Shaolin Belles for the first time. That’s gonna be a match, I think, where if you blink, you’re gonna miss something.

Claire: There’s so much talent on both sides of the ring there. In one corner there’s a former Anarchy Champion and a woman who made the Nova title one of the most sought after and prestigious titles in Future Shock. On the other, former Future Shock Tag Team Champions - one of which is a mainstay of the Nova title picture and the other is coming off a career year and is the reigning Nova Champion. Honestly, in terms of talent and determination, I don’t think you can slide a sheet of tissue paper between them.

Zack: Not to mention that will be Arabella’s final match in the Global Wars series, so she and Angelina both might as well be British tonight. But that’s not all. Beware the Ides of March, per Shakespeare. We caught a glimpse of yet another arrival coming to Future Shock, and whoever it is will be here in 2 weeks. But I understand we’re gonna get another glimpse tonight. Whoever it is certainly enjoys a rain shower, it would seem.

Claire: Well….take this with an absolute giant pinch of salt but I was talking to River earlier and she told me that DOC had heard from Joel who works backstage - like I said, giant pinch of salt. That this was gonna be the return of Rebecca Valentine. Apparently the Umbrella is a Resident Evil hint and…yeah. That’s a blast from the past for all our viewers.

Zack: Yeah, for the 12 people who remember her fondly, that could be huge. Maybe we’ll find out for sure tonight. We also learned that your best friend, Serafina DeCaro, is on her way to Future Shock. And so is Ruby Tyler. Talk about two veteran additions to what is becoming the most stacked Future Shock roster in history! And good Lord, it almost sounded like Missy was on the way too!

Claire: That would be a dream roster wouldn’t it? Ruby Tyler a woman who has dominated Ultraviolent, hardcore, Anarchy Championship style divisions for almost as long as she’s been associated with this sport. Serafina DeCaro who, in my opinion, is the absolute best submission wrestler in the business today and taught our current No Surrender Champion everything she knows. And if Missy joins too, we’ll have one of the most decorated and experienced veterans in all of wrestling amongst our stars…and the two longest reigning FFW Champions of all time.

Zack: 2022 is already shaping up to be one of the best years in Future Shock history, folks. And we’re all here for the ride! Let’s send it up to our blonde bombshell ring announcer, Lexi Carmichael, and get things underway.

The camera finds Lexi in the center of the ring with a smile on her face and wearing a tight blue dress as she speaks.

Lexi: WHAT’S UP, NEW YORK?!

Lexi: The opening contest of Future Shock is scheduled for one fall!

"Dangerous Woman" by Ariana Grande begins to play as two ladies in evening dresses walk out to the top of the rampway and unroll a red carpet.

Don't need permission
Made my decision to test my limits
Cause it's my business, God as my witness
Start what I finished

AMC steps out from the back wearing a beautiful flowing robe. Her manager Kyle Kilmeade follows closely behind her. AMC stops at the top of the ramp and slowly spins in a circle as Kyle applauds his client.

Don't need no hold up
Taking control of this kind of moment
I'm locked and loaded
Completely focused, my mind is open

Lexi: Coming down the aisle accompanied by Kyle Kilmeade and hailing from Beverly Hills, CA.   She is the FOREVER SVW AGGRESSION CHAMPION!!!!!!  “The Beverly Hills Socialite” A. M. C.!!!!!!!!!!

All that you got, skin to skin, oh my God
Don't ya stop, boy
Somethin' 'bout you makes me feel like a dangerous woman
Somethin' 'bout, somethin' 'bout, somethin' 'bout you
Makes me wanna do things that I shouldn't

AMC slowly makes her way down the aisle and upon reaching the ring she walks up the steps, taking a moment to wipe her feet on the apron and removes her robe revealing her SVW Aggression Championship as Kyle gets on the apron and holds the ropes open.  AMC Slowly bends over to get in the ring giving Kyle a great view of her ass causing him to smirk. Once in the ring Kyle removes her championship and kisses her hand causing loud boos from the crowd. AMC then climbs the ropes and raises her title in the air to louder boos.

Zack: Ashley Marie Chase made a successful debut in Calgary to kickstart her Future Shock career. I don’t know that she impressed anyone with her skills outside of her ability to cheat though. She’s facing another debutant tonight, and she didn’t seem to have a high opinion of the last one she met.

Claire: No she did not and then Aviva went and gave her a run for her money and came within a hair of beating her several times. I’ll give Ashley credit for her resiliency and being able to take a beating, that’ll serve her well when she next faces Aviva….and possibly tonight too against Sapphire.

The loud strumming of a guitar could be heard across the Pa system. As it does we can see the silhouette of a woman on the tron strumming at a guitar. The woman tosses the guitar to the side and as she does she slowly emerges from behind the curtain. Sapphire smiles as she is in a blue glittery attire. She isn’t alone as she is with best friend Emerald McAdams. The pair make their way down the ramp to the loud ovation of boos.

Lexi: Making her way to the ring being accompanied by Emerald McAdams, she is “The Shining Star” Sapphire Taylor!!!

Sapphire stops as she takes it all in. She cracks a very wicked grin before she sprints into the ring. She quickly makes her way to her feet where she does a backflip. The crowd just boos loudly at her. She ignores them as Emerald tells them to be quiet. Sapphire smiles before bouncing about and waiting for things to get underway.

Zack: Jake showed me some footage he’s seen of Sapphire Taylor, and he was right on the money on After Shock when he talked about how she liked to fly. Sapphire never saw a high place she didn’t want to jump off, and is one of the fastest strikers I’ve seen. Ashley would be wise not to underestimate her, but I won’t hold my breath.

Claire: In some ways I understand that. Wrestle your own game, worry about what you can control and force your opponent to conform to that. But sometimes and this could well be one of those times if Sapphire is that quick, you have to be prepared to adjust and be pragmatic. We’ll see tonight if Ashley can do that against the debutante.

Referee Stephen Wilson checked for illegal objects before he called for the bell. Sapphire immediately went to the center of the ring, and offered her opponent a handshake. Ashley remained in her corner for a moment though, looking down at her manager with a smile on her face before meeting the newcomer and telling her she appreciated how much respect she was showing her. She then encouraged Sapphire to lower her head as well.

Zack: I appreciate Sapphire wanting to show some sportsmanship, but Ashley is the wrong person to do that. She hasn’t got respect for anyone not part of the Gold Standard, and I think Sapphire’s setting herself up for nothing good.

Claire: You are exactly right. Ashley is more than happy to take any shortcut and make the most of any advantage that she can get. And she certainly doesn’t need her opponent handing her an opportunity to do so on a silver platter.

Taylor didn’t seem interested in bowing her head too as Ashley grabbed her hand, and started to yank her forward. But the newcomer surprised her by pulling her forward instead into a spinning back elbow to the mouth. A couple very quick rights landed upside Chase’s head before Taylor pulled her into a kneelift to the body. It doubled the veteran over for a half second before Sapphire whipped her across for the ride….only for Ashley to roll out of the ring to the floor as soon as she got close to the ropes. She let out a big huff as Kyle joined her to soothe her ego.

Zack: That didn’t go to plan at all for Ashley, and she’s already bailed out of the ring and needs a little ego stroking clearly.

Claire: Also means that she can stop Taylor from building any momentum in the early going in this contest. Which could be very important for her.

Kyle spoke with her briefly as the referee began his count, but the conversation was broken up almost as quickly when a wrecking ball dropkick between the middle and bottom rope caught Ashley in the chest. It sent her stumbling backwards towards the barricade as Sapphire landed on her feet on the floor. When Chase came forward, she ate a kick to the stomach before Ashley went for a high hip toss. Chase blocked it until Sapphire caught her with a forearm with the free arm, and sent her up with a hip toss that landed her on the apron before she got shoved back under the bottom rope into the ring.

Zack: Maybe Sapphire’s a little more savvy than I thought! I’ve never seen a hip toss that landed an opponent on the apron, and she’s got her back inside the ring now!

Claire: I’ll hand it to Sapphire, that’s pretty impressive strength to get that amount of elevation in the hip toss onto the hardest part of the ring. The Forever Champion will certainly feel that.

Sapphire rolled in after her as Ashley got to her feet. Chase didn’t get much time to do it though before she got spun around. The newcomer landed a flurry of machine gun style chops against her chest, causing her to stagger back into the ropes before Taylor took off towards her. She ran up the middle rope like a ladder, and caught Ashley turning around with a meteora to the chest before hooking both legs behind her when she landed for the cover.

Zack: Look at that!! I smell an upset!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOO!!!

Ashley kicked out before the three came down, and Taylor was back to her feet again. She went into a cartwheel as Chase was back to her feet, and landed right behind her. When Chase turned, Sapphire sent her into the ropes for a tilt-a-whirl suplex on the rebound.

Claire: Sapphire is showing that she is lightning quick inside the ring and Ashley’s having a lot of trouble dealing with that here!

Sapphire was starting to win over the crowd with her acrobatics, and it brought a smile to her face. She immediately darted towards the ropes, using them for an Asai moonsault that caught nothing but knees from Ashley when she landed. The veteran rolled onto her back, and started scrubbing her face against the canvas furiously. Ashley followed that by pulling her head up and spiking her face into the mat a few times, and dropped a knee onto the back of her head for good measure.

Zack: Ashley’s vicious when she gets shown up, isn’t she? If she had started the match like this, all of that might not have taken place.

Claire: Maybe a touch of overconfidence from Sapphire there. Ashley was nowhere near worn down and now she’s making her opponent pay through the nose for it.

She pulled the newcomer’s arms behind her, and proceeded to stomp her back and the back of her head repeatedly. One final stomp to the back of her head drove her down onto the mat again. Taylor started to crawl away from her, but Ashley didn’t let her get far before a running double stomp landed on her back, and Chase quickly adapted from that into a STF submission. Wilson dropped down to Sapphire’s left, checking to see if she wanted to stop the match.

Claire: Ashley is getting more and more vicious with every passing moment and is quickly taking all the speed out of Sapphire with this targeted offense.

Zack: We’ll find out what kind of mettle Sapphire has in this match. It doesn’t look like she’s ready to throw in the towel yet.

The musician used her free arm to start pulling them both towards the ropes. It was a slow slog before she finally made it, and got her hand on the bottom rope. Ashley broke the hold on a four count, and got back to her feet. She grabbed both of Taylor’s feet, and started to pull her away from the ropes. But Sapphire grabbed the bottom with both hands, and Ashley was having trouble yanking her loose. That was until Sapphire quickly brought her knees up and monkey flipped Ashley through the ropes onto the apron.

Zack: She’s got some spring steel in those legs, doesn’t she? Up and out to the apron goes the self-proclaimed Forever Champion, and Sapphire needs to recover quickly.

Claire: That was pretty quick thinking from the debuting Sapphire and a real nice counter to buy herself a little bit of time here.

Sapphire got back to her feet a little slowly, but Ashley was on her feet on the apron quickly. Taylor went to meet her, and caught her with a barrage of forearms to the side of her head to wobble her. The last Aggression Champion teetered for a second before Taylor hooked her head, and brought her back into the ring with a slingshot suplex. The fans started to get behind her again as she got back to her feet, and took off for the near side to return with a running shooting star press into a cover!

Zack: That’s one of her favorite moves I saw in those clips! I told you Taylor loves to fly!

ONE!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

T-NOO!!

Ashley kicked out again before the three came down, and Sapphire quickly rose to a vertical base. And Ashley, for the second time, rolled herself out of the ring to the floor and complained to her manager about Sapphire’s cheating.

Claire: I’m not sure what Ashley is complaining about, but again we’re seeing veteran tactics from her and she’s disrupting Sapphire’s flow, trying to throw her off her game.

Sapphire shook her head, and took off towards the ropes with a baseball slide. But Ashley grabbed her feet as she slid out, and countered it into a giant swing that sent Taylor careening into the barricade. The musician clutched her ribs on the floor as Ashley flashed a smile to her manager, and started putting the boots to her body. She pulled Taylor to her feet, and drove her back first into the ring post before snapping off a belly to belly suplex to the floor.

Zack: She did exactly what Ashley wanted her to do, and that was to come out after her. And Sapphire paid for that big time, look at that grin on Ashley’s face

Claire: She certainly suckered her in and is making the most of the opening, using the ringside area like a tag partner to put a beating on Sapphire.

Ashley shoved her opponent back into the ring before gliding in after her. She spotted the newcomer starting to get up before pulling her into a front facelock. A falcon’s arrow planted her into the mat before Ashley hooked a leg as she sat on the mat for a cover.

Zack: Borrowing a page from the Evolution Champion right there, and Ashley’s ready to call it a night!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THR-NOOO!

Taylor kicked out before the three came down, and Ashley repaid that with closed fists hammered into her face a few times before she got back to her feet again. A Garvin stomp followed that.

Claire: Ashley’s beating down her opponent like Sapphire refused to give her her lunch money. This is an out and out mugging here!

Taylor started to get to her feet before Ashley whipped her into the far corner. The newcomer hit hard against the turnbuckles before Ashley told the crowd she could do flashy crap too. She launched into a handspring back elbow….except Taylor wasn’t there when she crashed into the corner. The fans got behind Sapphire again as she followed up with a codebreaker that flipped her out onto the canvas. The debutant darted across her body for the cover with a leg hook.

Zack: Ashley ran her mouth a couple seconds too long, and look what happened!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOO!!

THR-NOOOO!!

Chase got her shoulder up as the three was halfway down. She immediately rolled onto her stomach, and was going to head out of the ring again until Sapphire caught her leg and stopped her this time.

Claire: Chase is showing her resilience here but it seems Sapphire has finally learned the Forever Champions favourite trick and cut her off before she can get more of an ego rub from her manager.

Taylor flipped her onto her back, and catapulted her into the corner. Ashley’s body crashed against the top turnbuckle. It knocked the wind out of Chase as she was laid across the corner. Taylor used a field goal punt that caught Ashley in the ribs, and made her land straddling the top rope. And then she went for a ride as Sapphire shook the top rope until Ashley fell to the canvas in a very delicate position.

Zack: That’s not a fun way to land, no matter what gender you happen to be. This match has gone back and forth like a pendulum, and Ashley’s voice is gonna be higher pitched for a little while.

Claire: That’s a steel cable wrapped in a thin layer of plastic. It’s every bit as uncomfortable as it sounds.

Ashley tried to get to her feet, but was slow doing so. When she finally got to a vertical base, Sapphire took off for the near side and came back with a scissor kick that floored the Forever Champion. Kyle had a look of concern on his face as Sapphire headed for the nearest corner, making her ascent and went for a shooting star press off the ropes this time. It landed perfectly before she hooked both legs for the cover.

Zack: One off her feet, and one from the sky! Sapphire’s shooting star press may net her one hell of a win!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NO!

Ashley barely got her shoulder up in time, just as the referee’s hand was practically touching the mat. Wilson waved it off, and assured Sapphire it was only two as she got back to her feet.

Claire: Sapphire millimetres away from picking up a debut victory tonight!! She’s got Ashley in huge trouble here! This could be a massive feather in her cap!!

Chase was very slow to get to her feet this time as Sapphire seemed to be setting her up for something a few feet away. When Ashley was finally vertical, Sapphire went for a running high knee aimed at her head. But the Forever Champion ducked it, causing Taylor to stop herself before she hit the corner. Ashley quickly hooked her arms behind her, and fell forward into a backslide! Wilson fell into position to count a half second before the fans got loud! Ashley kicked her feet up on the ropes a half second later!

Zack: Just like she did in Calgary, and there goes her feet again!!

ONE!!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-WHOA!

Ashley’s cover fell apart when her feet got swatted off the ropes. And it was clear then what excited the fans as Aviva Miller had emerged, and shook her head at Ashley to tell her she wasn’t going to win like that again.

Claire: Aviva stops the steal! You can tell Ashley isn’t in the slightest bit happy about that but she needs to stay focused on Sapphire tonight!!

Chase got to her feet, pointing down to Aviva and demanding the referee eject her from ringside. Meanwhile, Sapphire was back to her feet behind her and closing the gap quickly. Aviva hopped onto the apron, and told her to do something about it before the referee got between them.

Zack: Aviva really wants a rematch, and she’s ready to have it right now! Here comes Sapphire from the other side!

And as Sapphire approached from behind, Ashley used a mule kick between her legs to drop her to her knees before she rolled her up into a small package! Wilson turned around and immediately started the count.

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Chase darted to the other side of the ring to get away from Aviva before the referee went to raise her hand in victory.

Claire: Chase steals another victory tonight and she’s just making herself a whole lot of enemies right now, isn’t she? First Aviva, now Sapphire after an impressive debut.

Lexi: Your winner by pinfall………………ASHLEY MARIE CHASE!!!

Sapphire got to her feet finally, still moving gingerly as she realized what happened and then got into Avivia’s face on the apron. Miller apologized to her, telling her she was just trying to stop her from stealing the win like she did against her.

Zack: Sapphire is, understandably, not a happy girl right this minute. Aviva’s pleading her case, and trying to explain her motives.

Claire: Aviva certainly had good intentions…but they say it’s those that pave the road to Hell. Maybe, perhaps, given the fullness of time, Sapphire might find herself a little more understanding of the situation.

Sapphire didn’t seem to be accepting of the explanation as she and Aviva were nose to nose now. Meanwhile, Ashley got to her feet and seemed to be enjoying the show as the two bickered…at least until they both looked back at her. Miller stepped through the ropes, and it looked like she and Sapphire were going after Chase until the Forever Champion bolted out of the ring. She took Kyle’s hand, grabbed the Aggression Championship and quickly headed for the back.

Zack: In the heat of the moment, I understand Sapphire not being happy. Ashley was enjoying the hostility till it looked like they were about to focus on the right person.

Claire: I get the feeling that she was maybe hoping that her two foes would battle it out between themselves and distract them from going after her for a good long while yet.

Zack: Chase picks up another tainted win and gets the hell out of Dodge. It certainly seems to me that the target on her back may have to make room for a second though. Helluva debut though for Sapphire!

Claire: The Forever Champion is definitely making a habit out of finding ways to pick up victories. I guess that’s the silver lining she can hold onto here. She can worry about paying the piper another day.

Aviva and Sapphire exchange looks for a moment, and then look up the ramp as Ashley disappears to the back. Then the show cuts to a commercial for Relentless next month.

More Bad Weather

The show cuts to a video outdoors somewhere, and it is pouring down rain in sheets on the city streets. The drops get on the camera lens as it looks around, not finding anything until it makes a half circle turn just as a woman walking towards it with a red umbrella she’s spinning in her hand.

The rumble of thunder is heard as it begins lightning, causing the woman to stop quite a distance from the camera. She stops and looks up at the sky, then back to the camera. It still can’t make her out in the driving rain. Next we hear her chuckling.

The camera chases after her as she ducks into a building. Unfortunately she has a good head start on whoever is holding the camera. When it finally catches up, it’s inside a club just as whoever was holding the red umbrella snaps it shut amongst the throng of people and practically disappears into the crowd of people dancing to “Pour It Up” by Rihanna playing.

Someone taps the camera operator on the shoulder, and it turns to find a bouncer with the door open behind him. The massive man encourages him to leave, and hands him a card that says “March 15th” on it as he is forced to leave the club. Then the video fades to a commercial.

The Ace in the Hole

A close up of the Pure Championship was shown before the shot pulled back to find it in the hands of Kyle Kilmeade before he laid it across the champion’s shoulder. Then he addressed the camera.

Kyle: Tell me you saw it. Tell me you saw the performance of a lifetime when this woman right here retained her Pure Championship with her core practically in pieces. In a match that would be the final appearance of Valerie McFarlane for some time, actually. The “Final Boss” met her final boss. And despite her best efforts to seemingly break her back, WHO IS STILL STANDING?! It’s your reigning…defending..undisputed Pure Champion! The phenom, the ace in the hole…and clearly indestructible…Shaughnessy O’Neill!

The Quebecois grinned at the introduction.

Shaw: Yet again, not one word of that was a lie. Not one word of that was a mistruth or an exaggeration or hyperbole. Not one word or sentiment just expressed by possibly the greatest manager in wrestling today was Barnum-speak or the meanderings of a snake-oil salesman. What it was, was the cold hard truth. The evidence is right here in front of you. STOOD in front of you, with FFW’s newest championship still upon my shoulder. Another victory against one of the best and greatest this company has ever seen; another successful title defence for a woman for whom making history is something that I do as easily as you might make toast in the morning.

The wrestler raised a finger for a moment.

Shaw: Though I do want to take a moment and say Get Well Soon to Valerie. Because I’m also a big enough competitor to admit when someone pushed me hard. Because I respect what she was able to do to me, the ringer that she was able to put me through and I know how hard I had to fight in order to still be stood here with this Championship in my possession.

Kyle: No doubt. I watched that match not ten feet from behind the curtain. And Valerie had me wincing more than once watching what she was able to perpetrate against Shaw. I’ve never seen anyone do to Shaw what Valerie did. She came for the title, and left nothing to chance. The result didn’t change though, and that’s why I am officially putting out an open contract for anyone who thinks they can step up to the champion here. Anyone who wants to take a shot? Come and get it. And that brings me to one particular woman with a choice to make.

The monitor behind the duo comes to life with an image of Mila “Midnight” Martin.

Kyle: Mila won herself a shot at either the No Surrender Championship OR the Pure Championship a couple weeks ago when she knocked off Jo McFarlane. Wins over Jo don’t come easy, Shaw faced her too. So I just want to encourage Mila to try her luck against the Pure Champion. You’ve faced Lilly before, but Shaw? The option is there for you.

The French Canadian nodded her head.

Shaw: You’re an excellent fighter Mila. The time you spent in the armed forces wasn’t wasted in the slightest, was it? You’re supremely talented in hand to hand combat - just as we saw at Breaking Point against Wicked Storm. And as Jo found out, you’re an even better submissionist. You have all the tools, all the talent that it takes to be a proud and worthy Pure Champion. And, if I can be frank, in my opinion, you could really, truly push me to my limits. You could potentially do to me the same thing Missy was able to do at Unstoppable…you’ve got a similar mix of talents and skills and resiliency. I know that people see it in you every time that you step into the ring. And honestly, Mila, what do you have to lose in challenging me for the Pure Rules Championship? Nothing. But you could gain it all. Imagine if you stop me in my tracks, imagine if you take this title away from me and make this my shortest title reign ever. Imagine if you beat one of the most successful, most decorated women in FFW history. That would be quite the feather in your cap wouldn’t it?

Kyle: Give it some thought. I mean if you haven’t already.

He shares a smile with the Pure Champion before the show heads to a commercial for Relentless on March 26th.

After the break, the show returns to the arena and the viewers see a graphic pertaining to Valerie McFarlane and Global Wars.

Zack: Welcome back, fans. We found out over the weekend that Valerie McFarlane, who most recently competed at our Calgary event, suffered an injury while training students at the Future Shock Center in LA. She tore a muscle in her leg that will keep her out of action for some time, and will not be able to finish Global Wars. That’s a real shame for her and for Scotland, because she had delivered their best performance in the history of the series, Claire.

Claire: She’d managed to get Scotland into a very strong position this year and with her experience there was every chance that she could have won the whole thing for Scotland. But like in any sport these injuries can happen and unfortunately for Valerie it’s come at possibly the worst possible time. Hopefully she makes a full recovery and come back better than ever.

Zack: As a result with now three countries competing, Adam has added one match onto the series for everyone involved. Which gives Jacqui a chance later to really take a commanding lead, and gives Arabella a bit more breathing room for England and possibly getting her country into a better position. River has 3 matches left now as well.

Claire: Everyone has the opportunity now to further enhance their prospects. Though, I think I’d rather have the points on the board than be in Rivers position - sure, she’ll know what she needs to do but then there’s that pressure to do it and it’s pressure that will only build if Arabella and Jacqui rack up wins in their final matches.

Zack: So to recap, the three remaining countries have an additional match to complete after Valerie and Scotland have been eliminated. River has 3 matches left now, Jacqui gets her fifth tonight and boy is she is good standing for Australia! And we’re about to see the Belles, which means Arabella can come roaring onto the scoreboard with this match and her fifth to come.

Claire: Jacqui can set the standard everyone else has to follow, which River will have to do all she can to match. Meanwhile, Arabella can still bring herself right into contention with two victories in her last two matches. It makes a victory for the Belles tonight hugely important for Arabella and her place in the Global Wars tournament.

Lexi: The following tag team contest is scheduled for one fall to a finish!

Zack: This right here could have been the main event tonight or headlined a Future Shock event, as far as I’m concerned. And—-look over there!

Zack pointed to a pair of ringside seats, and that’s where both members of Latina Heat were sitting and eating popcorn.

Zack: There’s our newest addition to the tag ranks, and they weren’t there for the last match. So…I’m curious to see what Daniela and Francesca of Latina Heat are up to.

Claire: For now, they seem to be happy eating popcorn and scouting their opposition. If their time in SVW was anything to go by, we might see them do a firesale of their merchandise or try throwing a party for…something or other.

The lights go out completely as “Sisters Are Doing It for Themselves” starts to play. A lightning effect of white and blue pyrotechnics erupt, lighting up the stage for a second at a time. In each of the flashes the silhouette of three female figures standing in a line on the stage.

We said, "Sisters are doin' it for themselves"
Standin' on their own two feet
And ringin' on their own bells
We said, "Sisters are doin' it for themselves"

The pyrotechnics finish and as the lights come back up a sound like thunder plays on top of the music track and a puff of smoke comes from the bottom of the stage, still hiding the female figures for a moment. The smoke clears to reveal the three Stone sisters; Melody, Madyson and Mikayla standing hand in hand with their heads raised, looking towards the ceiling.

Now this is a song to celebrate
The conscious liberation of the female state
Mothers, daughters and their daughters too, oh yeah
Woman to woman, we're singin' with you

Lexi: Representing Trinity, they hail from Salem, Oregon….They are MIKAYLA AND MADYSON STONE!!

They unlink their hands and take off to the ring at a run and all jump up onto the apron at the same time. Melody and Madyson stand at a corner each, while Mikayla jumps up to sit on the top rope; all facing out towards the crowd. The two older sisters climb through the ropes while Mikayla stands up on the top rope and then backflips into the ring to land between them with a smirk. The three make their way to the corner and share some hushed words as the music comes to an end.

Zack: I’m a big fan of these two, Claire. Their styles complement each other very well, and they are going to present some interesting problems for the Belles. And we know about the history with Mikayla and Arabella.

Claire: Individually they are excellent wrestlers and competitors with the awards and accolades to back that up. Together they might just be even better. As sisters they have excellent chemistry together and sometimes, that can be half the battle in these matches.

As the intro to Fall Out Boy’s “Immortals” hits, Arabella Townshend and Angelina Fantastica enter from opposite sides of the stage, meeting in the middle at the top of the ramp with a high-five that sets off bursts of pyro. The two of them then take off down the ramp, slapping hands with the fans as they approach the ring.

Lexi: Now making their way to the ring - the British Belle Arabella Townshend, the Shaolin Stunna Angelina Fantastica, from London to Staten Island to right here in Future Shock, they are the Shaolin Belles!

Both girls hop up onto the apron at the same time and they exchange a nod. While Angelina flips backwards over the top rope, Arabella steps through and joins her partner in the center of the ring. They go pick opposite corners of the ring, climbing up onto the turnbuckles and waving to the fans, soaking in the cheers before they head to their corner to get ready for the match.

Zack: Angelina may not be 100% tonight after her ladder match with Luci, but I bet Arabella may be feeling like she’s been given a new lease on life in Global Wars. I know she’d been disappointed with herself in the series, but after this news, she has every chance to get England in the running to win it all.

Claire: It’s a massive opportunity for her tonight and to shoot herself up the Global Wars ladder. I’m sure that as a result she’ll be even more motivated tonight. While Angelina got beaten and battered by Luci with the ladder but Fantastica won’t let that slow her down any, not with the potential to challenge for the Future Shock Tag Titles very much a possibility.

Referee Kevin Fisk made sure there were no hidden objects, and called for the bell to start the match. Both teams met in the center, and shook hands. Madyson chose to start for her team, while Arabella told Angelina she’d start. The Nova Champion didn’t argue as she left the ring, and the two women circled each other for a moment before Arabella’s height advantage helped her push the former Anarchy Champion back into the ropes. The referee called for the break, and Arabella gave one quickly before they locked up again. Townshend went for a deep armdrag takedown out of it, sending Stone to the mat before Madyson was back to her feet. She wasn’t up but a half second before she caught a running knee to the body that knocked the wind out of her before Arabella snapped off a pair of European uppercuts that sent her backwards. Townshend gave her partner the high sign before Fantastica propped her knee onto the middle rope in the corner. Arabella fired Madyson back first into that knee, causing her to stumble out and into another armdrag takedown into an overhand wrist lock.

Claire: Arabella with Global Wars points on the line has come out of the blocks hot here and is controlling the opening exchanges with the former Anarchy Champion…but there’s still going to be a lot of work to do to put Madyson down for the count.

Zack: I think it’s wise for Arabella to have started the match. She may be trying to keep Angelina from adding any additional damage to what was done in Calgary. Townshend may be planning to do the heavy lifting tonight.

Madyson didn’t stay down long, and was back to her feet after a couple seconds. Arabella went with a full armdrag and twist in an attempt to bring her back down to the mat, but it didn’t work. The witch leaned over in pain, but surprised the Brit with a kick to the stomach. It was enough to break her grip, and allowed Madyson to spin into her with a headbutt to the face. She peppered the Brit with forearms before grabbing her head to deliver a bulldog into the middle turnbuckle. That dropped Arabella to a knee, and Madyson bolted for the ropes. When she rebounded, she went for a lariat but Arabella ducked it and caught her with a knee to the kidneys as she passed by. Townshend dropped her with a full nelson suplex into a bridge for the cover.

Zack: Arabella’s going for shock and awe, I think! Look at that bridge!

ONE!!

T-NOO!!

Stone kicked out as soon as the one hit the mat, and rolled away from the former Nova Champion. She beat Arabella to her feet, and blasted her with a running kneelift to the face followed by a neckbreaker.

Claire: Madyson took the smallest of openings there and she’s right back in this. Arabella might have had a couple of teeth loosened with the kneelift right there!

Townshend started to get back to her feet, and that’s when Madyson began using her striking game. She began throwing a few jabs, landing each of them and keeping Arabella wobbly on her feet before she rolled her hands and delivered a bionic elbow to the top of her head. That put the pale brunette on her knees before Stone hit the near side ropes and fell into a baseball slide underneath Arabella to deliver a palm thrust into her throat that sent her backwards.

Zack: Madyson loves to throw hands, feet, knees, you name it! Arabella was trying to keep this a wrestling match, and Madyson….she wants to brawl!

Claire: Madyson is working to her strengths here. I’m not saying she’s not capable of wrestling a technical classic but when she starts to fight like this, she does have a wonderful economy of movement and excellent striking ability.

Arabella got to her feet again, and that’s when the chops came into play. Madyson connected with one after another, backing Arabella up a step with each one till she was almost near the ropes. The witch took off for the far side, and rebounded…only to get scooped up by Arabella into a snake eyes on the top turnbuckle near her corner. That staggered Stone, and let Arabella get the tag. With the witch off balance, Angelina used the top rope to slingshot herself into the ring with a dropkick to Madyson’s chest to knock her down.

Zack: Now the pace is definitely about to pick up. Arabella got the tag, and Madyson’s gonna need to find a way to stop Angelina’s speed.

Claire: That’s a lot easier said than done. You;ve got to stop her before she gets the chance to move through the gears otherwise Angelina’s just going to be able to keep her off balance as she hits and moves.

Stone got back to her feet, and started catching forearms from Angelina upside her head. She landed them in a flurry, keeping the witch reeling before she whipped her across for the ride. Madyson rebounded into a shotgun dropkick to her chest, and then yanked into a codebreaker before Angelina went for the cover.

Zack: If the Belles have their way, Mikayla’s gonna get the night off!

ONE!!!

TW-NOO!!

Madyson kicked out again, and Angelina bolted for the ropes. She rebounded into a rolling senton across the witch’s body, and nimbly nipped back up to her feet.

Claire: The kick out but there’s the breathtaking speed from Fantastica! Stone barely got a chance to sit up before all of the Nova Champion’s weight crashed down upon her!

Angelina took Madyson’s arm as she was getting up, and climbed onto the top rope. She walked across it, and didn’t get to finish whatever she had started. Madyson got her bearings, and yanked her off to the mat with a thud, and immediately used double ax handle blows to her back as she tried to get up to her feet. Each shot drove her down onto the mat again, only for her to try to get up once more. Stone put a stop to that though, letting her get up and then dropping her with a backstabber. Then she drove a knee into her back, and pulled up on her head with a chinlock.

Zack: Modified chinlock there from Madyson, and that’s a good way to keep Angelina from darting around the ring. Plus that back probably isn’t all healed from her ladder match in Calgary.

Claire: No, there’s no way it could be and this will test it out - especially with the positioning of Madyson’s knee in her spine. And it’s only when it hurts that you realise just how much you rely on your back for movement.

The show went to split screen as Madyson worked the hold. The other shot showed Francesca of Latina Heat now sitting alone. Two seconds later, a hand pops up from behind the barricade at the timekeeper’s table where Lexi is sitting and watching the match. The hand feels around, finding the bell…the hammer…the microphone… and then Arabella’s ring jacket before snatching it off the table. The show goes back to full screen as Angelina is trying to reach for the ropes to get a break.

Claire: I guess fourth time lucky for that creeping hand. What’s the betting that our missing newest signee is attached to that hand? You think this is going to go well for her when Arabella notices?

Zack: I wouldn’t be surprised to find out one half of the team is behind it, not at all. It goes without saying that the jacket doesn’t belong to her. Meanwhile, Angelina’s getting closer to some relief.

Fantastica’s arm wasn’t long enough to grab the rope, but her leg was. She kicked it under the bottom rope, and the referee called for the break. Madyson did just that, and grabbed the Nova Champion by the leg to drag her to her team’s corner and tag in Mikayla. Madyson and Mikayla each grabbed a leg, and then snapped them apart in a wishbone. That folded Angelina in the corner before Mikayla used a double knee drop into her back. It slumped Angelina across the middle rope for a moment, and Mikayla took off for the far side to come back with a tiger feint kick (619) that sent Angelina landing on the mat before she made the cover!

Zack: Mikayla likes speed as much as Angelina, and that was a molar rattler if I ever saw one!

ONE!!!

TWOOO!!

T-NO.

The Nova Champion kicked out, and Mikayla picked up where she left off. She pulled Fantastica back to her feet, and sent her into the far side. The Nova Champion rebounded into a spinning back elbow to the jaw before Mikayla dropped her with a Russian leg sweep.

Claire: Mikayla’s building momentum and we’ve seen before that she can be a formidable force of nature when that starts to happen, able to mix it up with the absolute best in this business.

Angelina rolled towards her corner as quickly as she could, but Mikayla went after her to stop that. Fantastica got to her feet, and was about to make the tag before Mikayla’s head popped up between Angelina’s legs. And before the Nova Champion could do anything about it, she got planted with an electric chair before Mikayla rolled through with both legs hooked for the cover!

Zack: Almost there for Angelina….and then the bottom dropped out!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

TH-NOPE!!

Angelina got her shoulder up in time, and Arabella was already halfway through the ropes at the same time. The Brit stepped back out, and Mikayla headed for the neutral corner to make her way up top.

Claire: Mikayla got something planned here but this is high risk - high reward and arguably even more so against someone with reactions as quick as Angelina. But how much did that electric chair take out of her after the ladders two weeks ago?

Angelina got to all fours just as Mikayla came off the top rope, looking for a leg drop. But Fantastica rolled out of the way, and let her crash land on the mat. It jarred Mikayla’s whole body on impact, and allowed Angelina enough time to get to the corner and tag Arabella back into the match. Townshend came back in, and started firing kicks into Mikayla’s chest where she was still in shock on the mat. Five in a row landed before the Brit connected with a spinning knee to the jaw that put her down.

Zack: That had to jar Mikayla’s entire body, and Arabella’s not wasting a second! These two have been rivals for a long time, and look at those shots!

Claire: Arabella’s not allowing Mikalya a chance to get her bearings after getting the pool drained. That spinning knee to the jaw, that’ll certainly have rung the bell of the former Nova Champion!!

She pulled Mikayla up, and sat her on the top turnbuckle before climbing up with her. Arabella unloaded with a flurry of forearms before grabbing her head to execute a superplex, further jarring Mikayla’s body before Towenshend rolled across her to make the cover.

Zack: Massive impact, and Arabella’s gonna put England on the scoreboard!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THRE-NO!!

Mikayla got her shoulder up, and Arabella got back to her feet to apply a Boston crab. She made sure to plant her knee into Mikayla’s back too as she leaned back on the hold.

Claire: Arabella’s pulling out all the stops here but credit to Mikalya for having the resilience to get her shoulder up in time. It won’t stop Arabella from torturing her back further for the three points.

Mikayla realized she couldn’t move much with the way Arabella had it applied, and instead started trying to reach the bottom rope with her hand. Another split screen occurred after that, and we see Daniella trying on Arabella’s jacket. She keeps trying to close it, but tells her partner she’s a little too blessed for it to fit and takes it off to let Francesca  try it.

Claire: Mikayla’s got her work cut out for her to get to the ring and…and it looks like Daniella is trying out a new look. Albeit unsuccessfully.

Zack: Arabella’s trying to score some points and win this match, and these two are trying on her ring gear. This isn’t the dressing room at the mall, ladies.

The show goes back to full screen as Mikayla manages to get her fingertip across the bottom rope, causing the break. Arabella gives it as soon as the referee asks, and the witch rolls under the bottom rope. That causes the referee to keep Arabella back as Mikayla tries to pull herself together as quickly as possible. She rolled back into the ring finally, and got to her feet. Arabella immediately went to get her, but the witch was ready for her with a drop toe hold that sent her face first into the middle turnbuckle. She dragged her by the legs out of the corner, and into a wheelbarrow facebuster before flipping her over to make the cover!

Zack: Veteran tactic from Mikayla to give herself a time out, and look how much it paid off for her!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEE-NOPE.

Arabella got her shoulder up in time, and Mikayla got back to her feet. She was still a little worse for wear though, and finally dragged the Brit up with her. She fired her into the far neutral corner, letting Arabella stumble out into a scorpion kick that dropped her again.

Claire: Mikayla showing a pragmatic side to her offence here and it’s working well for her as she was only half a second away from picking up victory right there.

She headed back to her corner, making the tag to Madyson. The two joined forces from there as Arabella was getting to her feet. They hit opposite side ropes, with Mikayla hitting a clothesline at the same time as Madyson nailed a chop block to take Arabella down. Mikayla went back to the corner, and got the tag again before she headed up to the top rope.

Claire: The Stone Sisters are rolling here! That high-low combination has taken the wind out of Arabella and Mikayla’s looking to apply the finishing touches!!

Zack: Quick tag, and Mikayla’s back in and looking to fly!

Madyson grabbed her sister on the top rope, and sent her flying with a rocket launcher! But Arabella wasn’t there when she landed as Angelina jerked her partner from the outside. The youngest witch crash-landed on the canvas, and Madyson darted out to the floor and met Angelina ringside to trade hands!

Zack: Talk about taking matters into your own hands! Angelina made one hell of a save, and she’s got Madyson to deal with! Meanwhile, the two legal women in the match are down!

Claire: Another rough landing from the top rope from the former Nova Champion. Whoever recovers first could be in pole position to steal the victory here.

The referee ducked his head between the ropes, trying to get Madyson and Angelina apart on the outside. Meanwhile, we see Daniela and Francesca trying to sell Arabella’s jacket to a woman seated behind them at ringside. Inside the ring though, it’s Arabella who begins to get up first, though Mikayla isn’t far behind her.

Claire: Are they trying to…Are they really trying to sell Arabella’s jacket? Well, I guess, they’re not ones to pass up the chance to make a quick buck or two. Arabella’s going to pretty pissed when she’s this though.

Zack: You aren’t kidding. Latina Heat is making a nuisance of themselves at ringside, and I hope we can get security around there to stop this. Meanwhile, it’s a race to a vertical base!

Arabella quickly pulls the dazed Mikayla’s head between her legs before she hoists her up into her spinning powerbomb! The mat bounces on impact before the Brit rolls her over for the cover, and Angelina intercepts Madyson as she tries to stop the count!

Zack: HELLO BOMBSHELLE!!

ONE!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

Fisk called for the bell, and Arabella got back to her feet slowly. Angelina joined her in the ring before they both got their hands raised. A smile appeared on Arabella’s face as she saw 3 points put on the Global Wars scoreboard for England.

Lexi: Your winners by pinfall………………….THE SHAOLIN BELLES!!!!

Claire: The Hello Bombshelle from Arabella and there was no way that Mikayla was going to kick out. Not after all the high impact moves she’d endured earlier!

The fans give the Belles a very loud response as they celebrate in the ring, and exchange handshakes with the Stone sisters. After rolling out to the floor, Arabella snatches her jacket back as Latina Heat are still trying to sell it to a fan behind them. The former tag champions keep walking, albeit with a scowl now, towards the back.

Zack: Congratulations to Arabella and Angelina on a hell of a fight, not to mention getting the win and putting England on the scoreboard in the process. There was a lot riding on that match for the Belles, and attempted petty theft coming out of it.

Claire: And it was a hard fought match. The Stone Sisters brought their A game tonight; they pushed the Belles every step of the way and forced the former Tag Champs to pull out all the stops in order to get England on the board.

The Belles continued to get a very loud response from the Utica crowd before the show cut to a commercial for FFW All Access.

Diamond Still Shining

The camera next finds itself following DOC as he’s looking down at his phone. He’s reading something off the screen before he joins the reigning Diamond Champion in front of the Future Shock logo. He puts the phone away, and pats River on the back.

DOC: Ladies and gentlemen!

He tells the camera before putting an arm around River’s shoulders.

DOC: It is DOC’s pleasure to introduce you once again to the still-reigning Future Shock Diamond Champion! This is River Campbell! And River…..welcome to Utica, New York!

The city’s name gets a pop from the crowd in the arena.

River: Hi everyone. Thanks DOC. It’s good to be here….almost, kinda, sorta, my back yard. Or at least one a couple of blocks away. One where I might, on a particularly good night out in a misspent youth, have maybe passed out in a paddling pool or on the trampoline and woke up the next morning to continue a walk of shame back home….BUT, I guess none of you really needed to know that. Not that I’m saying it happened. Or that any of you impressionable young kids out there should do that.

She whistled innocently for a moment or two before breaking into a grin.

River: ANYWAY. Like he said. I’m still the Diamond Champion despite one heck of a hard fought match up with Leighana. And already I got the next challenger lined up for Global Wars. And speaking of Global Wars, still batting a perfect score in the series and now I’ve got three more matches left to push my way to the top of the scoreboard.

DOC: That’s right! And we’re gonna get to that. But you know, it’s almost a tradition now and ol’ DOC could earn himself his own show on FFW All Access where he teaches everyone about the cities we visit, River. I could be Dr. Crane. So I’ve done some digging on this city!

River: You’ve been doing some digging huh? Hope you had a permit for that - I bet the city council in these parts can get mighty ticked off with people just digging random holes all over the place.

She grinned as she joked with him.

River: OK DOC, what did you manage to find out? Is it the armed robbery capital of the world? But also the home of the world’s favourite donut?

DOC: Actually, nothing that exciting. I’m sorry, Utica. There’s not much happening. But I was able to find some fictional history. Gary Chalmers, the superintendent in Springfield on the Simpsons is from here. So that’s something. Mark Lemke, who played for the Atlanta Braves in MLB, is from here. Let’s see, the city is named after a place in Tunisia. This is also the spot where the first beer was sold after Prohibition ended. I can kinda see why they were quick to get that up and running.

River: Well, I’m certainly all for them putting up a plaque and a commemorative statue to that first beer after prohibition ended. And having Chalmers, the bain of Principal Skinner’s life come from here…that’s quite something. WAY TO GO UTICA!!! WOOO!!!!! It’s a lot more of a claim to fame than some places have.

DOC: And for a place that isn’t really loaded with history? 17 states in the United States have a city named for this city. They all named it for this Utica.

River: And you know what they say, folks? Knowledge is power! And this moment of power was brought to you by Team USA, the Global Wars Front-Runner-To-Be, your Diamond Champion.

DOC: Which reminds me, I just left Miss Singer’s office before I came here. She and I were discussing your Global Wars matches, three left! So I told her we were interested in blazing through them like a rocket. She didn’t seem interested in a River Campbell gauntlet next show though, you could have gone through all three in one night.

The musician hesitated for a moment before breaking into a grin.

River: I would certainly have given it my best shot to get through all three matches in one night and pick up three wins one after the other. I’d certainly have gone down swinging either in a ball of fire or in eternal blaze of glory, the likes of which may never be seen again. But, seeing as how Miss Singer wasn’t interested in that idea…what agreement did you manage to skillfully negotiate out of her for my final three matches? I’m sure it was the typical DOC masterstroke, your usual mix of charm, charisma and powers of persuasion setting up a trilogy of matches for the ages that immediately have all of my supports across this great nation, from sea to shining sea, drooling in anticipation.

DOC: Well then I thought if we can’t have them all in one show, let’s go up against two. So I suggested a handicap match. And if you eliminated both halves, that’s 6 points. But she didn’t go for that either, though the idea of a tag team match interested her. So you got a tag partner next show, and you’ll pull double duty at Global Wars in a title defense against Nadia and the Global Wars finale. Said she’d get back to me on the second match though.

River nodded her head in agreement.

River: Okay, I can make that work. Double Duty at Global Wars, with the title on the line in the first half of that, sure thing. I was pretty much expecting that anyway and I’ll be going all out to leave with this title and as the FIRST ever American Global Wars Champion. Though, yeah, that’ll be a lot harder to actually do than it is to promise it here in Utica. After all, Nadia is phenomenal and Jacqui is an out and out beast of a woman. I tell ya, if I wasn’t me, I wouldn’t envy me…but I am me and I can’t wait to meet Nadia head on and throw down with Jacqui one more time.

She raised a hand.

River: But first things first, right? Two weeks time and a tag match. Who am I teaming with? Who are we going to be facing? Let the people know, DOC; they wanna get all excited already. They’re all eagerly waiting to know the details. And I’m certainly amongst them. So spill the details already.

DOC: Well you’ll be facing Target Acquired. So you’ll get a feel for what it’s going to be like facing Nadia….and then dealing with Alessandra, who won Global Wars last year. Exciting stuff! But as I told Miss Singer, you don’t really have a go-to tag partner. So….that was a little bit more tricky.

River: Okay. So  me and all every single Future Shock Fanatic out there gets a little sneak peak of what’s in store at Global Wars if….when…I find myself in the ring with Nadia during the tag match. And when I’m in there with Alessandra, I get to test myself against one of the best in Future Shock; against a woman who in the last year has done everything that I want to do - win Global Wars and become the Future Shock Champion. It’ll be a good benchmark for me and I’ll know just how much further I’ve got to push myself.

There was a nod of her head.

River: I’m sure I could find someone to tag with me…probably. But who did Miss Singer decide I should have standing beside me? It wouldn’t, by any chance, happen to be Alessandra’s opponent at Global Wars would it? It wouldn’t happen to be the brand new Future Shock Champion, Calgary’s favourite daughter, Sydney Christensen, by any chance?

DOC: I thought about that too, but she kinda went in another direction. She gave me 3 names to pick from for your partner. And knowing you as well as I do, I think I made a winning choice. For example, I didn’t think you’d want to team up with Jacqui Minogue, right?

River: You’d be on the money right there. I would much rather not team up with Jacqui Minogue. Not unless I really, absolutely, had to. Like there was no other choice left on the table but to team up with her.

DOC: See? I knew I had a good grasp on all this. And I didn’t think you’d be interested in teaming with the Forever Champion Ashley Marie Chase.

River: Again. Wouldn’t be near the top of my list of preferred partners. Especially not with Aviva and Sapphire breathing down her neck and the bullseyes she seems to be painting on herself. I don’t want to get in the middle of that particular developing situation. So, who was the third name that got thrown out? Who AM I teaming with?

DOC: Well she picked someone that you have a lot of familiarity with…and….someone she thought Alessandra might be interested in facing too. It’s the reigning, undisputed Diamond Champion River Campbell and………….Cait Flanagan!

River: Cait Flanagan and I. Teaming up? I never thought that was going to be a thing. Ever. And I’m going to guess that she has no interest whatsoever in helping me get Global Wars points in two weeks time so it’s a good thing that she loves winning and will do anything at all to make sure that her hand is raised. For once that might actually be a good thing for me.

DOC: I’m sure Alessandra is gonna be happy though, don’t you think?

River: I’m sure Alessandra is doing a little jig of happiness right now, a little Italian happy dance that finally, after all these months after the Future Shock Championship was stolen from her, she has a chance to finally lay her hands on the thief and extract a measure of revenge. I’m sure in two weeks she’ll be fired up and possibly have a little bit of tunnel vision for Cait which might also work in my favour. Any other day. Any other situation, I’d probably kick back, grab the popcorn and watch her do her thing and have all the crows come home to roost for the Million Dollar Baby. But in two weeks time, I want those Global Wars points. I NEED those Global Wars points and I’m going to put up one Hell of a fight to get those Global Wars points. Alessandra and Nadia, they’re going to have a really disappointing night.

DOC: It’s gonna be a main event to remember! So you want to go find Kyle and strategize now?

That didn’t get any kind of positive answer from the Diamond Champion before the show went to a commercial break.

I Did It My Way

The show returns from a commercial break as we hear Sydney Christensen’s music playing. We find her standing in the ring holding her newly won Future Shock Championship alongside Sara.

Sara: Two weeks ago in her hometown of Calgary, my guest at this time captured the Future Shock Championship in a thrilling triple threat match against Jacqui Minogue and then-champion Cait Flanagan. First things first, congratulations, Sydney!

Sydney looked around at the crowd in Utica and simply smiled at the less-than-enthusiastic reaction she was receiving.

Sydney: This belt right here? This was the end result of countless months of blood, sweat, tears and frustration. This belt represents everything that I had to go through in order to make it to the top of the Future Shock mountain. And you want to know the best part of this, Sara? Unlike certain other people, I managed to win this on my first try.

Sara: You also won it on your own, Sydney. And that’s not something the previous woman who held that title can say. I think that’s also worth mentioning.

Sydney: I won it without the help of tag team partners or without the help of a manager. How many people, not just here in Future Shock, can say that? Not a lot, honestly. It’s MORE than worth mentioning.

Sara: Describe that feeling. I mean it’s a major accomplishment to capture the Future Shock Championship, but very few…have been able to do it in front of their own hometown crowd. What did that feel like?

The Future Shock champion paused for a second as she glanced at the title belt placed over her shoulder.

Sydney: To win the Future Shock Championship is an accomplishment in itself, and one that my name will be forever linked with. But to win the title in front of my friends and family in the city I was born and raised in and still reside in? That meant more to me than most people realize. I didn’t have to wonder what my hometown would think if I were to bring it home to Calgary. I got to see it first hand instead.

Sara: And your very first defense comes April 26th in the beautiful country of France at Global Wars when you meet Alessandra Esposito. As you recall, she was screwed out of the title by the previous champion.

Sydney bites the inside of her cheek slightly in order to refrain from saying much on a certain subject.

Sydney: I recall that quite vividly, as a matter of fact. While I can assure Alessandra that I am not like the previous champion, I’m also going to tell her that as hard as I fought to get this championship, I’m going to fight even harder to keep this with me, because it’s going absolutely nowhere.

Sara: It’s also fair to mention that right now, the front runner in this year’s Global Wars series is Jacqui Minogue. I bring that up because there’s every possibility that you could be meeting her again for that title in the not too distant future. Right now, the series is tied 1-1 between you.

Sydney: Well hey, if Jacqui wants to go for this championship again, then more power to her. Just….leave your little friends at home, mmkay? Then we’ll see if your bite is as bad as your bark.

The camera focuses on the new champion with her title over her shoulder before the show cuts to a break for the merchandise site.

Lexi: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is your main event of Future Shock!

Zack: Our last commercial break is in the books, and it’s time for the main event. I think we’re about to see a bruiser of a match with two women who aren’t shy about imposing their will on their opponent.

Claire: And as I mentioned at the top of the show, neither of these two women are going to be in the best of moods tonight. This is sure to be one heck of a contest and might well be a contender for Match of the Year when the awards roll round.

Zack: Fans, the next edition of Future Shock will be live at the Hartman Arena in Park City, Kansas two weeks from tonight on March 15th. We just heard about the tag team main event for that show, and that’ll also be the night we see who the teasers have been about too. Keep an eye on Adam’s Twitter to find out who you can meet this weekend when you pick up your tickets. That’ll be another first ever stop for Future Shock or FFW, for that matter.

Claire: That’s going to be one heck of a tag team match in two weeks time. We’re throwing a lot of combustible elements into the ring which may easily result in fireworks. The people in Park City, Kansas are going to have one heck of a weekend with the stars showing up early and with whoever it might be under the umbrella, I’m sure it’ll set tongues wagging - even if it’s Rebecca Valentine and everyone rushes to FFW All Access - for just $9.99 a month - to see her matches.

As the intro of “Superstar” by 95 TurboSol blares into the arena, generating thunderous reaction from the crowd, a lightshow of blue and white lights ignites the stage area and ramp and flashes continuously across both areas, bearing a striking resemblance of a futuristic spaceship setting. At the same time, smoke emerges from the bottom of the stage and fills the area.

Then, as the song begins, Jacqui Minogue emerges through the smoke and stands on stage, her hands on her hips as she scans through the environment and eventually the ring while the crowd continues to shower her with their reaction.

Lexi: Making her way to the ring, representing The Matriarchy...weighing 140 pounds…from Melbourne, Australia…She is “The Perfect Storm”…JACQUI MINOGUE!!!!!

Jacqui then comes down the ramp toward the ring with her arms extended outward and sporting a cocky demeanor. When she reaches the ringside area, she stands there taking in the atmosphere of the arena as the fans continue to show their reactions. She then climbs up the apron, wipes her feet on the apron, and enters the ring, Jacqui strides towards two opposite ring posts in where she climbs up and extends her arms out and then shortly shows off her trademark triangle hand signal, to represent her faction, all while looking on with a smirk and posing to the crowd with complete confidence. She’s taking in the atmosphere while the crowd reaction continues and the cameras flashing.

After going through her ritual, Jacqui climbs down and makes her way towards the corner to take off her jacket and then readies herself as she waits for her opponent to arrive.

Zack: This will mark Jacqui’s fifth match in the Global Wars series, fans, at least until the finale on April 26th. I’ll hand it to her. For this being Australia’s first year in Global Wars, she has represented the country with aplomb. And right now, she’s in the driver’s seat and sitting in the lead of the series.

Claire: Tonight she can extend her lead. Then sit back and watch the last few matches of the Global Wars series unfold and prepare for the finale on April 26th, readying herself to claim the prize at the end of it all.

As the intro to ‘Don’t Know How To Stop’ start to play around the arena, the sound of engine revving can be made out over the top of it. It gets louder and louder until the sound of tyres screeching is heard just as the lyrics begin.

Head lights, red lights, got it in my sights
Nothings in my way, No sound, hush now
Push the pedal down, got no time to waste
It's a long way home, You just crossed a borderline
When I say go, You know you better hold on tight

Alessandra appears through the curtain wearing a pair of black leather look tights with silver studs around the waistband, and matching bralet with the same silver studs around it. She looks out across the crowd with a smirk before taking off at a run towards the ring.

I don't know how to stop, I give it all I've got
It's like my brakes are shot, I gotta have too much
I don't know how to stop, Gets crazy but so what
You know it's what you want so give it up
And Don't be scared of how good it feels

As she reaches the ring, she jumps up onto the apron and stands facing the stage, reaching back to hold onto the top rope with both hands. She leans forwards and scans the crowd on either side, then kicks her legs up to almost backflip over the top rope, landing on one knee in the ring with her head lowered.

Lexi: Introducing at this time, from Naples, Italy………………………..ALESSANDRA ESPOSITO!

One speed, full speed that is all I need
They can eat my dust, hell yeah, rock on
Will you come along, Do I have your trust?
It's a long way down, If you're getting this high
When I say now, you had better hold on tight
Now!

As the word Now! is said in the lyrics, Alessandra leaps up with her fist in the air and then lands on both feet. She heads to her corner to await the start of the match as her theme music fades out.

Zack: Isn’t it fitting that it will be at Global Wars April 26th when the woman who won it all last year gets her rematch for the title that was robbed from her? Alessandra has long deserved a rematch, and she’ll get it against Sydney. But there can be no overlooking Jacqui, which I know Alessandra would never do anyway.

Claire: I’m sure she’s looking forward to getting her rematch for the title finally…but you’ve got to think that part of her hoped that she’d be getting Cait with the gold on the line. We might well see her try and take that frustration out on the Australian tonight. She can’t get carried away though, otherwise Minogue will take advantage and could make sure she’s in no state to get to Global Wars in April.

Referee Ashley Pruitt checked for hidden objects before she called for the bell. And it was Jacqui who headed to the center of the ring first. Alessandra joined her before the Aussie raised her hand up for a test of strength. Alessandra looked around at the crowd, and a smile grew on her face before she did the same thing. The hands locked, and then the other set followed that before the two women went chest to chest as they tried to overtake the other.

Zack: Starting things off with an old school test of strength, Claire. I’m not sure who might have the advantage here.

Claire: At the moment, both of them are struggling for the upper hand and finding the correct point of attack to force their opponent onto the back foot - if not actually into taking a step backwards.

Neither of the two women seemed to be having much success, at least not until Jacqui stepped back and kicked Esposito in the stomach. Then the Italian beauty dropped to a knee, allowing the Aussie to take control and turn her hands back to keep her down. The former Future Shock Champion gritted her teeth, and seemed to be digging in as she struggled back to her feet and started to reverse the pressure and begin to push Jacqui down.

Claire: And if brute strength doesn’t get the job done…well, there’s always that method of coming out on top. Alessandra’s gonna have to climb a mountain here.

Zack: Looks to me like they were pretty evenly matched, at least until Jacqui took a shortcut. But if I know Alessandra, she’s gonna do everything in her power to get back up again.

Jacqui didn’t get all the way to her knees before Alessandra broke the grip, quickly grabbed her head and fell backwards to the mat in a guillotine choke with legs wrapped around her body. The Utica crowd came to their feet as Jacqui immediately forced them towards the ropes, which she grabbed quickly to get the break. Esposito rolled away, and back to her feet with a smile on her face.

Zack: Look at that! A new wrinkle to Alessandra’s arsenal, and Jacqui couldn’t get to the rope fast enough when she felt that guillotine choke!

Claire: Quick thinking by Alessandra there but equally quick from Jacqui. It’s something that the Australian is going to have to be aware of throughout this contest and something both Cait and Sydney might want to take note of.

Alessandra went to get her as she was getting up, but walked into a drop toe hold. It sent her neck first across the middle rope before Jacqui climbed onto her back to choke her against it for a four count. She finally stepped off, and snapped the rope back to send her back to the canvas. Esposito was starting to rise as she was trying to catch her breath, and Jacqui stopped her with a backstabber before going for the cover with a leg hook.

Zack: Jacqui’s looking for the bell awfully early, and has Alessandra down!

ONE!!

The Global Wars winner shoved Jacqui away as soon as the one hit, and Jacqui pummeled her with forearms to the head before she could try to sit up again.

Claire: Alessandra kicks out early in the count! Jacqui though is continuing to beat away at her, chip away at her resiliency and try to put her opponent away.

She dragged the Italian beauty back to her feet, still pummeling her with forearms before she whipped her across to the far corner. Esposito landed chest first against, only to turn around and find Jacqui rocketing towards her with a running European uppercut that sent her back into the corner again. Another hard whip sent her into the far corner, and Jacqui barreled in again with another of those European uppercuts…but Alessandra got her boot up and smashed it against her jaw. It sent the Aussie stumbling backwards, allowing Alessandra time to collect herself.

Claire: Just as you think one is starting to get on top of the other, the pendulum swings back the other way. This is an armwrestle of a match right here and we’re no closer to knowing who might emerge the victor than we were when the bell sounded.

Zack: Alessandra better get her marbles together quickly, because that boot to the mush isn’t gonna stop Jacqui for very long! And here she comes!

Esposito comes out of the corner, and catches Jacqui with an inverted atomic drop that causes her to stand awkwardly. That’s when the former champion begins pelting her with right hands to the jaw, and an uppercut to the stomach almost lifts her off the mat. Instead it crumpled her to her knee, and Alessandra took off for the near side to deliver a running boot to the side of her head.

Zack: What an uppercut! With all those jabs, I thought she was going for a hook. But no, Alessandra brought her knees with a vicious body shot and put her down after that.

Claire: Phenomenally striking power and precision shots from the Italian. I think Rocky would be jealous of the fists she was throwing right there!

She pulled Jacqui back to her feet, and hoisted her over one shoulder to deliver a snake eyes in the corner to send the Aussie stumbling backwards. Alessandra hopped up onto the second turnbuckle from the inside when Jacqui turned away from her to deliver a middle rope bulldog to drive her face down into the mat. She rolled her over for the cover as Pruitt fell to count.

Zack: Even more big time impact off that elevated bulldog! Is that gonna do it?

ONE!!

TW-NOO!!

Jacqui got her shoulder up as the two was coming down, and Alessandra got to her feet. The Utica crowd was already making noise for her as she waved her finger over her head in a circle, letting them know that the giant swing was next.

Claire: Minogue escaped the pinfall but Alessandra has one heck of a trip planned for her - around and around and around and around the world with a rough landing at the end.

When she leaned down to grab her feet, Jacqui used them like a bicycle and pedaled her chest with all the strength in her legs. That sent the #1 contender backwards off balance, and allowed Minogue to get back to her feet to boos because the fans wanted to see the giant swing. Before Alessandra could get her bearings, Jacqui bounced off the near side ropes with a lariat that took her down to the canvas. She took a second to catch her breath before scooping Esposito up for a backbreaker across her knee. When Alessandra collapsed face down on the mat, Jacqui sat her up and applied a figure four necklock.

Claire: Now we’ve got Jacqui rolling out her submission arsenal and Esposito’s got to try and make it to the ropes as quickly as she can otherwise this might not last much longer. Minogue’s legs can apply a lot of pressure to cut off the blood supply here.

Zack: Jacqui is the most dangerous one on one, I feel. I mean she was a force in the triple threat in Calgary. But when she can focus entirely on one person, she’s that much more deadly.

The Utica crowd immediately began getting behind Alessandra again as Jacqui locked her ankles behind her head. She propped up on her elbows as she leaned back, applying increasing pressure. Pruitt moved in front of Alessandra, checking for a submission but not getting one. Instead her face was darkening as she tried to grab onto anything. She got Pruitt’s top for a moment until the referee forced her to let go.

Zack: Your perspective isn’t great in this hold. You’re being forced to look down, and it’s hard to find the ropes or even see how far away they are like that.

Claire: Yeah, this is where you’re relying on your veteran instincts and trying desperately to work out just where you are in the ring so you can use as little energy as possible trying to get to the ropes for the escape.

Alessandra found another way though. She pointed to the left, getting boos from the crowd. Then in front of her, more boos. When she pointed to her right, they started making a lot of noise. And the former Future Shock Champion dragged them both to the ropes slowly and got her foot under the bottom rope to get the break. Jacqui got to her feet, and didn’t look the least bit happy with the Utica crowd.

Claire: That’s another little benefit of being a crowd favourite - they’re more than happy to help you out when you’re in a bind. Especially when you’re up against someone they love to hate.

Zack: Alessandra used this crowd like an unofficial tag partner tonight, and it paid off in dividends. Jacqui may be jealous that they wouldn’t do that for her.

Alessandra, though free, was still trying to get herself together. Jacqui went back on the attack immediately, pulling her up and shoving her chest first into the corner. A series of shoulder thrusts to her back landed, each causing Alessandra more pain before an Olympic slam drove her back into the mat and was followed up with a cover and a leg hook.

Zack: Nothing but punishment to the back, and a cover!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOO!!

T-NOPE.

Alessandra got her shoulder up, and Jacqui hammered elbows into her lower back. She grinded a few of them in for added punishment before getting back to her feet.

Claire: Jacqui’s really doing a number on Alessandra’s back and if she keeps this up, you’re going to have to start to wonder what sort of shape she’ll be in Kansas in two weeks time against River and Cait.

When the Italian brunette rolled away and tried to get to her feet, Jacqui swooped in from behind to apply a full nelson. But as soon as the former champion felt it, she started desperately trying to fight out of it as Jacqui was trying to get her fingers locked. But Alessandra’s hair was making that a little more difficult. Esposito tried to pull them towards the ropes, but Jacqui yanked her back and still tried to lock her fingers.

Zack: Jacqui’s picking up where she left off from a few moments ago, and Alessandra’s fighting like the devil to stop her. This is one of those times where it pays off to have long hair like most women in this sport do.

Claire: She’s making it as hard as possible to lock this hold in and until her fingers get locked, this hold won’t be as effective as it can possibly be.

Jacqui did everything she could trying to get her hands together until Alessandra held her arms straight above her head….and actually slid right out of the hold to land on her butt. Jacqui retaliated with a stiff kick to her spine, causing the Italian to roll out of the ring to the apron.

Zack: Now that’s a smart escape from the full nelson, but it may only be delaying the inevitable. Jacqui is absolutely relentless tonight, isn’t she?

Claire: I think this is a definite push back from her failing to win the Future Shock Championship two weeks ago. She’s taking that frustration out on the number one contender and trying to send a message that she wants back in the hunt…and to be right at the head of the chasing pack.

The referee made Jacqui stay back as Alessandra got to her feet on the apron. Then Minogue went to get her, only to walk into a bell clap from Alessandra. It disoriented the Aussie, so Alessandra nailed it again before stepping back inside the ring. With the Aussie stumbling on her feet, that’s when Alessandra swept her feet out from under her. Jacqui dropped to the mat, and the fans came to their feet as the giant swing began!

Zack: That’s what they were looking for, Claire! Jacqui, welcome to the SPIN CYCLE!

The fans began counting the revolutions as Alessandra spun her opponent around and around. And it didn’t show much sign of stopping.

Fans: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE!

Claire: Holy– I think Alessandra’s still building momentum!! Jacqui’s never gone on a ride like this before!!

Fans: EIGHT! NINE! TEN! ELEVEN! TWELVE! THIRTEEN!

Zack: I can’t imagine what this feels like, and I certainly never want to find out! She’s still going!!

Fans: EIGHTTEEN! NINETEEN! TWENTY! TWENTY-ONE! TWENTY-TWO!!

It went all the way to 25 before Alessandra let go, and Jacqui careened into the canvas in a heap. Esposito obviously winded herself too, but showed no signs of dizziness as she took a knee to get her breath back.

Claire: You can see that it took a lot out of Alessandra but not as much as it’s discombobulated Jacqui!! I’m not sure she knows which way is up right now!!

Jacqui tried to get to her feet, but it almost looked like she was drunk because she couldn’t get her balance. Obviously she wasn’t, and tried to use the ropes to help steady her. She staggered two steps away before Alessandra scooped her up, and spiked her with an Alabama slam before hooking the outside leg for the cover.

Zack: That’s gotta be all she wrote for Jacqui! The swing alone would have done me in!

ONE!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NO!

Jacqui’s shoulder came up before the three landed, and Alessandra double checked with the referee to make sure it was only two. Pruitt confirmed it as the former Unity Champion got back to her feet, seemingly asking the crowd if they wanted one more.

Claire: Nearly but not quite. Alessandra’s better stay on top of her opponent and keep her down where she can’t use any of that power of hers if she wants to pick up the victory tonight.

Jacqui started to get up, preventing her opponent from going for another giant swing. Instead, Alessandra caught her with a running hip attack that landed on the side of her head, further disorienting her before she muscled Jacqui up into a stalling brainbuster before going for another cover.

Zack: Jacqui’s equilibrium has to be upside down right now…and that brainbuster won’t help her any! Alessandra looking for three!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NO!

Again, Jacqui got her shoulder up in time. And Esposito got back to her feet, watching as the Australian rolled away a couple feet and was still trying to get her bearings.

Claire: Jacqui with the heart of a lion right now and a refusal to be put away tonight! Alessandra might just be wondering what she’s got to hit her with to keep her shoulders down for the three count. Or maybe she’s thinking about going back to the guillotine choke from earlier.

Alessandra pulled her opponent back to the center of the ring, and then scooped her onto her shoulders into position for another of her favorite moves. The fans came to their feet and started getting loud again.

Zack: I’ve seen this set up before! And if Jacqui kicks out of this…

Esposito landed a massive F5 that sent Jacqui into the canvas. She quickly rolled her over, and hooked both legs for the cover as Pruitt dropped to count!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

Pruitt called for the bell as Alessandra sat up on her knees. She was taking in deep breaths as she got back to her feet, and had her hand raised.

Claire: Finally!! Alessandra lands the decisive blow and puts down the Perfect Storm for the three count. Sydney, Cait, River…that might well be in your future sooner than later.

Lexi: Your winner by pinfall………………..ALESSANDRA ESPOSITO!!

The Utica crowd roared in approval as Alessandra raised both of her hands. She spotted the closest camera on the floor, and leaned through the ropes with the words “See you soon, Cait” and a smile on her face.

Zack: Well I think that tells us everything we need to know about Alessanda’s feelings about the main event two weeks from tonight, Claire.

Claire: I don’t think you can blame her, Zack. This is a statement victory from Alessandra tonight against one of the toughest, meanest women in Future Shock and in doing so, put another dent in Australia’s Global Wars record.

Zack: I’m gonna give all kinds of credit to Jacqui. She was ruthless in there tonight, and damn near needed a tank to get put down. I think she acquitted herself in a resounding way.

Claire: I totally agree, She punished Alessandra and not only that but I think Esposito might’ve been running out of ideas too. If she’d not scored the pinfall there, I’m not sure what else she had to hit her with.

Zack: Fans, we’re out of time. Thank you for joining us tonight, and we’ll see you for one hell of a tag team main event at the next Future Shock!

Alessandra had a smile on her face as she left the ring, and was greeted by the fans along the barricade as the show faded to black.
