Live from the Louisville Gardens in Louisville, Kentucky
May 10, 2022

The limousine pulls up outside of a bank somewhere in Boston before the driver opens the door to let Cait Flanagan and Kyle Kilmeade out. She takes his arm, and heads inside and is immediately escorted to a vault filled with stacks of money. But she notices one pedestal set aside for the title she wants most. “Legendary” by Skillet begins to play as someone dashes past the camera, and the pair look out to see whoever it is with the Future Shock Championship.

My heart bleeds adrenaline
The fire I breathe is where I live

It turns out to be Charlotte Harker, who darts out of the bank and around a corner at top speed with it in her hands. She doesn’t get far before Shaw trips her up, and takes the title away from her with a shake of her head. As she’s looking down at her former tag partner with annoyance, the title gets lifted out of her hand before the woman holding it ducks into a parked car and starts it up. The driver is Jacqui Minogue.

Top, to the top
Ain't never gonna stop
To the top, to the top
Ain't never gonna stop

Jacqui speeds through the streets of Boston till she runs into a familiar woman holding up traffic by standing in the middle of the crosswalk. Jacqui looks closer, and sees it’s Shaughnessy O’Neill who makes a beeline for her car. Minogue locks the doors and rolls up the window before someone else rises up from the backseat...that being Alessandra Esposito. She snatches the title out of the passenger seat, and bolts from the car onto the crowded sidewalks. She only gets so far before she’s spotted. Cait, Jacqui, and Shaw close in on her before a car honks to get her attention. She hops into the Italian sports car, leaving her pursuers in the dust..

Never gonna keep me down (never keep me)
Still the one that's standing now (never falling)
Destiny is calling me
Go down in history
Every day I'll fight to be
Legendary

Watching out the window of one of the nearby buildings at the plight of the would-be champions is a very amused Angelina and Arabella before the show cuts live inside the Louisville Gardens. The fans roar as the show goes live, and sparklers shoot around the stage all the way down the ramp until another burst shoots from the ring posts. The camera shows the Future Shock logo on the ring mat before cutting to Zack and Claire at ringside.

Zack: Welcome to one of the most historic wrestling venues around the world! Welcome to the Louisville Gardens here in Louisville, Kentucky! This arena was built in 1905, and 117 years later, it’ll become part of Future Shock history!

Claire: It’s been host to everything from the Jackson 5 to Martin Luther King jr and Harry Truman and just every professional sport in the country. This building is steeped in history and tonight, Future Shock will add its own chapter to that story with some of the best wrestling on the planet.

Zack: We are just two weeks removed from one of the biggest nights in Future Shock history at Global Wars. And if you watched After Shock or saw the event on All Access, you know how true that is. In its first year in the series, Jacqui Minogue captured the gold medal for herself and Australia. Given the advantage she had, I don’t think it would have been wise to bet against her.

Claire: River and Arabella certainly pushed her all the way and gave her a fright, but yeah, Jacqui just had that little bit extra gas in the tank to take them down and claim the gold for Australia. Now she’ll get herself another opportunity at the Future Shock Championship.

Zack: We’ll see her a little later in our main event, but we have a new Diamond Champion too. Nadia Beaulieu is dripping with gold in Future Shock as half of its tag champions and now the Diamond title to go with it. All those who claimed she was in her partner’s shadow….well I think they got their punk card pulled in Lille.

Claire: In her home country, against the longest reigning Diamond Champion in history, Nadia showed that she was every bit her partner’s equal and has joined a very, very small group of women who have been able to call themselves a double champion in this company. I’m sure now that she’s got her singles title, she’ll look to continue to pull that punk card with every successful defence she racks up.

Zack: We’ll also hear from the Future Shock Champion. Sydney did damn well at Global Wars, and again…today’s news has to be certainly on her mind. You know she’d want to go to Unstoppable as the Future Shock Champion.

Claire: Like I said, it’s the stage everyone wants to be on…but she can’t afford to get too far ahead of herself. July is still a long way away and you know that after Fury, Alessandra or Cait are going to be chomping at the bit to get their shot and take her place at Unstoppable.

Zack: July 5th is the date of the next major Future Shock event. The ink has dried, the contract settled in what I feel could be the biggest marquee match in this brand’s history! At FFW vs. Future Shock, it’s going to be a rematch from Unstoppable 11’s main event for the Pure Championship when Shaw defends against Missy!

Claire: That was an absolute war between two titans in this sport at Unstoppable 11 - one that was a whisker away from being stopped by the Nevada State Athletic Commission. Now they get to to do it all over again and this time with the Pure Championship up for grabs. Could Missy be the first to score two wins over Shaw?

Zack: As for tonight though? Nadia Beaulieu, as we mentioned, will be in our main event when she meets Sapphire Taylor. I know Ashley took great offense on After Shock that Sapphire was getting the match at all, which was rich to me because Chase didn’t earn a shot either. The title isn’t on the line, but I don’t think that means Nadia will go half-speed against Sapphire.

Claire: Not in the slightest. Nadia knows that everyone in Future Shock is competitive and there’s no such thing as a night off. She’ll treat this every bit as seriously as she would any other match. Plus, Sapphire has put on some really impressive performances since her debut and she has the ability to score the win tonight if Nadia is off her game.

Zack: Sapphire actually holds a win over the new #1 contender, Claire. Aviva Miller picked up her first win in Future Shock on a big stage, and got herself the shot. But like I say, Sapphire has a singles win over her. As much as I’m not a fan of the Gemstones, there’s some rationale for giving her this match tonight, I think.

Claire: Even if she didn’t have that win over Aviva, it’s always good to give an emerging talent an opportunity; give them a showcase to see if they can step up against a champion here in Future Shock and measure themselves against someone like Nadia. Win or lose, this will be an invaluable experience for Taylor as she looks to climb the ladder.

Zack: We’ll see half of the Doomsday Sisters in the ring. Sienna Danger will meet the “Huntress” Ruby Tyler. I’m sure Sienna will be pleased as punch about her country and her cousin winning Global Wars. And we know Ruby has not exactly been coy about her goals in Future Shock. Do you think an opponent like Sienna could be good preparation against the Anarchy Champion?

Claire: They were certainly amongst those to publicly congratulate Jacqui but that’s not a surprise as all the Matriarchy look to elevate each other whenever they can; they’re a tight knit group. Sienna will look to extend Australia’s dominance tonight and with her strength and her determination, dedication and a sister at ringside, will certainly test Ruby’s mettle as she seeks the Anarchy Championship from Charlotte.

Zack: Gwen Margolis gets to do what so many Future Shock fans and possibly staff of Future Shock would love to do, and that’s wreck the would-be weather girl FIona O’Dalaigh in her debut tonight. Lord knows we’ve heard enough from the Innovator of Moonsaults for a month of Sundays.

Claire: It’s a good night for us and the fans. We get the added bonus of not only not having to listen to Fiona spout more of her garbage on the show but also seeing Gwen Margolis beat her all around the ring and back again. Personally, I hope Gwen makes absolutely certain of the victory today when she’s beating down the weathergirl.

Zack: There’s a lot going down tonight, so let’s get the ball rolling and send it up to Lexi for the opening match.

The camera shifts to Lexi wearing a dress in the colors of Cornhuskers, which gets her a fair amount of support as much as how much she’s showing off in that dress.

Lexi: The opening contest of Future Shock here in Louisville, Kentucky….

Hometown pop, which brings a grin to her face.

Lexi: Is scheduled for one fall to a finish!

The lights dim just before “Heavy” by The Glorious Sons starts playing throughout the arena.

Come heavy or don't come at all,
You leave your piece at home that's your call,
It never paid to be merciful,
Come heavy or don't come at all

The lights come up as the music rises and Ruby Tyler bursts through the curtain, running down the ramp and high-fiving fans along the way.

Come heavy or don't come at all,
Been here before and watched a better man fall
I smell the fear on you boy
Come heavy or don't come at all

Lexi: From Barstow, California, weighing in at one hundred forty pounds, she is the Huntress, RUBY! TYLER!

Tossing her jacket aside, Ruby turns to face the crowd and pumps her fist in the air before sliding underneath the bottom rope, grinning as she heads to her corner and climbs the turnbuckle, her head bobbing as the chorus plays out. Once the music fades, she hops down and turns, waiting for her opponent.

Zack: The last time we saw Ruby in the ring, she sent Ashley Marie Chase on the hotfoot out of the arena. I don’t think history is gonna repeat itself with her opposition tonight. Because Sienna and Ashley….well it’s hard to find two women farther apart from each other in the ring.

Claire: You’ve hit the nail on the head there. Ruby’s not going to be able to chase Sienna off…and if she was to grab a weapon tonight, Danger’s more likely to fight fire with fire than run for the hills. This’ll be one heck of a fight and I’m sure Ruby’s looking forward to it.

The intro of music of “Giant Press” by Unknown Artist (NPJW) hits the arena, prompting the arena to erupt to thunderous reaction.

As the song begins, the spotlight is beaming on the stage where Sienna Danger appears, arms positioned in a flex position with her sister Victoria standing beside her, with her hands on her hips. Then Sienna stops posing, and the ladies show off their trademark triangle hand signal, to represent her faction. Sienna menacingly stomps her foot on the stage, causing the four corners of the ring to shoot out a blast of steam, accompanied by a thunderous booming sound. Just then, the ladies make their way to the ring.

Lexi: Making her way to the ring, being accompanied by Victoria Havoc and representing The Matriarchy...standing 6 feet tall and weighing 190 pounds…from Melbourne, Australia…she is one half of The Doomsday Sisters…She Is “The Python”…SIENNA DANGER!!!!!

Once the ladies get to ringside, they climb up to the apron into the ring and face the crowd, doing a little trash talking with the fans at ringside. After wiping their feet on the apron, the women step over the ropes to enter the ring. Sienna walks over to one of the corners, where she climbs up and poses, yelling back at the crowd at every chance. She then goes toward the opposite corner and does the same thing after climbing up. Meanwhile, Victoria stands in the center of the ring, pointing at her sister while doing some trash talking with the crowd herself. Then, after coming down, Sienna rejoins with her sister to her corner of the ring as she waits as they wait for the match to begin.

Zack: Like I was saying, Sienna isn’t gonna run from Ruby. And weird as it may sound, I think that’s what Ruby prefers. She wants someone who will go toe to toe with her, nose to nose, and brawl with her. That said, this woman right here….that might not be the ideal option for Ruby tonight.

Claire: I’m not sure there’s a person on the planet Sienna would back down from in that ring. She’s just as happy as Ruby to get in her opponent’s face and try to become the dominant force in her matches. This isn’t going to be the prettiest match tonight, but it’s certainly going to be a spectacle!!

Referee Malcolm Parks called for the bell, and the fans were decidedly behind the veteran. Ruby glanced around at the crowd as Sienna stood stoic in her corner. When the Aussie started to move, Tyler held up a finger and rolled to the outside. Both of the Doomsday Sisters had a curious look on her face as Parks began a ten count.

Zack: Well we’re ready for action here, and I guess Ruby isn’t. I’m not sure what’s going on, but she–UH-OH.

Ruby flipped up two aprons till she found what she was looking for, and produced a kendo stick from under the ring. The referee immediately warned her as she hopped onto the apron and stepped back inside the ring, twirling it in her hand.

Claire: Well…Looks like Ruby might not be all that interested in picking up the win tonight and more wants to send a message to Adam and Brianna and Charlotte.

Zack: This is how her last match ended, as the fans watching will recall. But like we were saying, I’m not sure Sienna’s gonna run from this.

Parks warned her again as Ruby shook her head, and told him she wasn’t going to use it. She promised she wouldn’t, and walked to the center of the ring to drop it onto the mat. She told Sienna it was for her before she took a giant step backwards.

Claire: I guess Ruby thinks Sienna is going to need the kendo stick to beat her. This might just be poking the bear and Tyler could be about to get mauled.

Zack: The last thing I’d do is hand either half of the Doomsday Sisters a weapon willingly, but that’s where we are now. If Sienna takes her up on it though, it’ll be a short night for her, Claire.

Claire: I’m with you. We’ve seen them both be more dangerous than most armed wrestlers when they just use their bare hands!!

The referee then began warning Sienna as she moved closer to where the stick was laying. And when she leaned down to grab it Ruby shot forward with a running kneelift to her face and started unloading with furious right hands to the side of her head. The Louisville crowd ate it up as she bounced off the ropes with a running neckbreaker followed by a cover!

Zack: LIKE ADMIRAL AKBAR SAID…IT WAS A TRAP!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

T-NO!!

Sienna shoved her off the cover, and Ruby immediately rolled out of the ring to the floor, infuriating the Aussie to go out to get her!

Claire: Ruby came in with a game plan tonight and right now, she’s not letting Sienna get even a sniff of an opportunity to lay a finger on her. Right now the Doomsday Sister can forget about controlling this contest.

Tyler took off around the corner on the outside with Sienna in hot pursuit after her. She rolled back in the ring quickly, and used a wrecking ball dropkick between the ropes to Sienna’s chest as she was climbing up onto the apron. It sent the Aussie stumbling backwards before Ruby returned to the apron, and launched into a double ax handle from the apron to the top of her head. Another wobble followed that before Tyler used a drop toe hold to send her face down to the floor, and then darted back into the ring as the referee was disposing of the kendo stick.

Zack: Ruby got Sienna to chase her around a little bit, and try to take away some of her stamina! And right now, this is among the best strategies I’ve ever seen anyone use against the Sisters.

Claire: The Anarchy Championship hopeful is working to her strengths and targeting her foe’s weaknesses. It’s a great strategy but Ruby has to keep it up for long enough that she can put Sienna away.

Ruby quickly rolled out around the corner, and scooped up the kendo stick off the floor. When she spotted Sienna back on her feet, Tyler used an underhand toss to throw it at her. Danger caught it easily, and ended up feeling it against her forehead when Ruby used a bicycle kick into it to cause the stick to crash against her head. Danger dropped it to the floor, and Ruby followed up with a lungblower that nearly toppled her over the barricade into the front row. The veteran got back into the ring when she heard the referee was up to a six count.

Claire: Ruby is being very inventive in ways of not using that kendo stick and with Sienna sprawled out in the middle of the front row, the Aussie has to pull herself together quickly to beat the count.

Zack: This…this is a different side of Ruby than we’ve seen in her time either FFW or SVW. She’s obviously a veteran, but she’s cagey as hell. If I didn’t know better, I’d think she was having fun.

The count was stopped when Victoria got onto the apron to complain about Ruby using the kendo stick, to which the referee told her that technically she hadn’t used it. Sienna headed back to the ring after getting herself together. She climbed onto the apron as Ruby charged towards her, but ran into a goozle from the Aussie before she used a headbutt to her face and a chokeslam to the mat before stepping back into the ring.

Zack: The referee isn’t wrong in his point of view there, and playtime just ended! Sienna’s back in the ring now, and it took two moves to put Ruby down.

Claire: It’s always the danger when you’re facing a member of the Matriarchy. They’ve all got it in the locker to be able to swing a match in their favour with just a couple of moves.

It was clear that Danger was not a happy woman as she didn’t bother going for a cover. Instead she yanked her up and flung her into the nearest corner before charging in with a running boot to the face. Ruby’s head snapped backwards for a moment, and Sienna brought a thunderous clap down across her chest. She licked her fingertips, and did it again. It caused Ruby to lean forward clutching her chest before Danger used a one-handed beal to send her careening to the center of the ring.

Claire: Sienna almost kicked Ruby’s head right into the middle of the crowd!! And then threw her like she was a training dummy!! This is what Tyler had to know would come her way tonight!

Zack: Sooner or later, I had a feeling she was going to pay a price for upstaging Sienna and trying to get past her as a result, Well the taxwoman is collecting right now.

Ruby started to sit up until a leaping double stomp to her body stopped that. Danger then pressed a boot to her throat, and started choking her until the referee was about to get to five with his count. The veteran was scooped up with ease for a running powerslam into the canvas before Sienna paused as she was about to grab her leg for the cover, and shook her head instead.

Zack: She doesn’t want to pin her right now. Sienna wants to do more damage to Ruby. If you know anything about the Matriarchy, they hold grudges like a luggage carousel.

Claire: Ruby got under her skin and Sienna is using violence to scratch that itch and deal with the irritation. Against a wily veteran, it could cost the former Tag Team Champion.

Danger pulled her up and dropped her upper body across the middle rope. The Aussie took off for the far side, and came back with a leg drop across Ruby’s back and neck. A second one landed after that. And as the referee backed her away to warn her about not letting Ruby out of the ropes, Victoria blasted her with a palm thrust to the throat that sent her backwards in the ring gasping for breath. Sienna beamed as the referee turned back with a curious look, all the while Victoria was now in the far corner way out of reach.

Claire: This is what the Doomsday Sisters always do well - tag match or singles - they can play the referee like Sherlock Holmes plays the violin and have excellent chemistry.

Zack: You aren’t kidding. They have the knowledge that it takes some tag teams years to learn, and they use it very well.

As the veteran was trying to get to her feet and get her wind back, Sienna used a rear waistlock and sent her flying with a release German suplex that sent her back first into the corner. The former hardcore champion staggered forward into a kick in the gut followed by a jackknife powerbomb! Sienna pressed both hands into her chest for the cover!

Zack: Ruby’s entire torso is gonna be black and blue, and that’s gonna do it!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NO!

Tyler popped her shoulder off the mat in time just as the three was coming down. Sienna yanked her head up by the hair, and started pounding her with repeated headbutts before letting her collapse back to the mat.

Claire: Ruby’s having to call on every ounce of resiliency that she’s built up in her years fighting in some of the toughest, bloodiest, most destructive matches in this industry now Sienna has the upper hand. And she’ll need that experience to turn the tables too.

Ruby started to slowly get back to her feet, only for Sienna to fire her into the ropes. She caught her on the rebound with a spinning back kick into an ax kick combo that crumpled her to the canvas. Victoria applauded her sister, and mocked Ruby after that. The Aussie scooped her up, and planted her with a Michinoku driver before making the cover again, this time with a leg hook.

Zack: I’d have gone for the cover after that ax kick, reminds me of Lilly! Sienna’s looking for the W right here!

ONE!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NO!

Tyler’s shoulder made it off the mat again just in the nick of time. Sienna looked at the referee with a glowering expression, but Parks reminded her it was still only a two count.

Claire: Like I said, Ruby is as tough as they come and Sienna has to respect that. She can’t let it annoy her more because if it takes her focus off Ruby for too long, Tyler will strike and strike hard.

Sienna dragged her thumb across her throat, and pulled the seemingly lifeless Ruby up to her feet. But the veteran leaned into her, and seemed fairly wobbly on her feet. Tyler’s head was pressed against her chest as she leaned against her like a bookend. Danger seemed clearly amused by this, and stepped back to let her fall face down onto the mat again. Both of the Sisters were amused by this as they grinned at each other.

Claire: That shows how much Sienna has taken out of Ruby already…but she hasn’t got the pinfall yet, so she might want to keep the champagne on ice just a few minutes more.

Zack: Ruby looks like she’s running on fumes and just responding out of instinct at this point. How many women have we seen in similar states against either or both of these two?

Sienna leaned down and picked her up again. Once more, Ruby was only vertical because she was leaning against the stronger woman. With her mouth agape, Ruby was scooped up onto Sienna’s shoulders.

Zack: That’s the launch position! CRASH AND BURN coming up!

Sienna launched her up into the fireman’s carry cutter until Ruby surprised her by wrapping her up into a small package and pulling her down to the mat. Parks dove into position for the count!

Zack: This is OV—WAIT!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

The referee called for the bell as Sienna sat up with a thunderous look on her face just as Ruby propelled herself out of the ring on the other side. The referee followed her out, and raised her hand as she sat leaning against the steps.

Claire: Ruby looked like she was running on fumes but had the Crash and Burn well scouted and enough left in the tank to surprise Sienna tonight!! A big win tonight and another step taken towards the Anarchy Championship!!

Lexi: Your winner by pinfall……………..’THE HUNTRESS’ RUBY TYLER!!!

It was clear how exhausted Ruby was, but she got to her feet and snatched up the kendo stick when she saw Victoria get in the ring with her sister.

Zack: I was starting to wonder if she was goldbricking, she wasn’t at all. She just pulled it out of nowhere, and smartly played too!

Ruby leaned against the barricade as she made it around the ring, and kept her eyes on the ring with the kendo stick in her hand to make sure the Sisters didn’t go after her.

Zack: I don’t blame you, Ruby. I wouldn’t take my eyes off them either. One of the hardest-earned wins she has had that wasn’t in a hardcore match right here.

Claire: Damn right! We both know the Doomsday Sisters can be impulsive - especially when it comes to settling scores. Sienna battered her for a large portion of this match and you have to give her credit for that…but congratulations to Ruby who proves again that she’s always a threat inside the ring.

As she backed up the ramp with the crowd chanting her name as the music played, the show cut to a recap package from Global Wars on FFW All Access.

But Wait, There’s More!

The show goes to the booth with Zack and Claire before a split screen with the Director of Future Shock. Adam is in his office inside the arena.

Zack: Adam, thanks for talking with us. A whole lot of news dropped today, and I understand you have some more. But let’s cover what we know already. Probably the biggest news is that Jacqui Minogue will receive her shot at the Future Shock Championship by virtue of winning Global Wars at Unstoppable 13 in Detroit.

Adam: Absolutely right. On the biggest stage of the year, I don’t think there’s a better place to have our most coveted title on the line. The only question we have to answer is who will face her in detroit. And that will be unearthed after Fury when Alessandra and Cait finally meet one on one. Sydney will face the winner of that match in June or early July, and then it’s onto Unstoppable.

Claire: I’m sure Jacqui has already got the date penciled in her calendar and is counting down the days and obviously she will be supremely confident going into that match, after all she’s been quite the force in recent months. Alessandra, Cait or Sydney will certainly have their work cut out for them in Detroit on FFW All Access on the biggest show of the year.

Zack: What’s this about Savannah Star I saw mentioned on Twitter?

Adam: Well that relates to FFW vs. Future Shock on July 5th. A lot of women have been part of these cross-brand events, but she hasn’t. No time like the present. I’m inviting her to the next Future Shock to discuss it with her. I’ll even let her pick who she wants.

Zack: I’m trying to think of who she might want to face from Future Shock, and I’m drawing a blank.

Claire: She’s certainly got a king’s ransom of talent to choose from. We’ve got everything from excellent technical submission wrestlers such as Serafina through to brawlers, out and out fighters and some of the best high flying talent in the business - there’s no better example than Sapphire or an all rounder like our new Diamond Champion, Nadia Beaulieu. And Savannah, as one of the best in business, could certainly put on a match of the year performance on July 5th.

Adam: Like I said, I’ll leave it up to her. The only ones she can’t pick are those already scheduled to compete. I’ve also added a match to that show featuring two of the tag teams between our rosters. Representing FFW…though probably not with any loveloss, it’ll be the Wicked Storm on one side. Chaotic as they are. On the other side, the Shaolin Belles!

Claire: That could certainly be a barnstormer and if I were the Shaolin Belles, I might look to get someone in the corner just to try and negate the influence of Dante and Vee at ringside. Which ever referee draws that one will definitely have their hands full trying to keep that one under control.

Zack: That’s a great point. The only one I could think of to be there for them is Jake, and well…I’m not sure he’s a match for both Dante and Vee.

Claire: Jake is much loved. Maybe he can call in a favour or two? Or who knows? Wicked Storm might have annoyed enough people by then that there’s a line forming around the block to act as spoiler to their nefarious tactics.

Adam: And finally, that brings me to our next show. We’ll be in Bangor, Maine for the first time at the Cross Insurance Center, and I’m ready to reveal 2 of the matches that fans will see. And one of them is one I think Claire and you both will particularly enjoy. I know Fiona’s match is coming up next, but she’ll be back in the ring again next time facing a woman who can probably tie her in knots…Serafina DeCaro.

Claire: I’m definitely looking forwards to that one and seeing ‘Fina turn Fiona into a human pretzel! She probably won’t say as much and will probably find what few good qualities Fiona has as a person and a wrestler…despite all the bullshit that she comes out with… but the Buddhist Warrior is more than capable of inflicting long term damage on the weathergirl.

Zack: I’m looking forward to what Serafina has to say now. I’ve known Fiona for most of a decade, and I couldn’t tell you a good quality under penalty of death.

Claire: If there’s anything there, Serafina will find it. Even if she has to stretch a little bit. She just…she just struggles to be mean and verbally go to town on people - even when they really deserve it and no-one would blame her for it. Not even the Universe and whatever forces of Karma might exist.

Zack: I’m starting to think the promo will be more of a challenge for her than the match itself. Anyway, what’s the other match for the next show, Adam?

Adam: Speaking of women who some might think need to be taken down a peg, I think most would say Ashley Marie Chase qualifies. Would you both agree?

Claire: She is certainly a woman who is very confident in herself and her abilities and has never met any form of self promotion that she’d argue with or refuse. After all, she is the ‘Forever Champion’.

Zack: Who is she facing?

Adam: It’s something of a double edged sword for her. One, it will be the main event of the show. On the flip side, she’s gonna be facing a woman who was almost a cyborg at Global Wars. I’m referring to Arabella Townshend.

Claire: That’s going to be one heck of a challenge for her. We’ve seen how good Arabella can be as one of the cornerstones of Future Shock, a long time contender for the Nova Championship, a former Tag Team Champion and she put in one heck of a showing in the Global Wars finale. Ashley’s going to need every little bit of talent and veteran knowhow she can muster to stop Arabella from throwing her around and spiking her into the canvas.

Zack: I think Ashley’s undefeated streak in Future Shock is in major jeopardy. We’ve seen a far more aggressive Arabella in the last couple months, and I’m not sure Chase can withstand it.

Claire: It will definitely be one heck of a test for her and a real test for Kyle Kilmeade when it comes to plotting and planning a strategy to deal with it. And with Angelina always close at hand, Abigail Lindsay might find herself in for a busy night too.

Zack: Thanks for sharing all that news with us, Adam! Things are certainly heating up, and coming up next, Gwen Margolis and Fiona meet up. We’ll be right back!

The show then goes to a commercial break.

The show returns from the break, and finds Lexi standing in the center of the ring for the second time tonight.

Lexi: The following contest is scheduled for one fall to a finish.

The lights go down and the video screen goes black as the opening to Blondie’s “One Way or Another” starts playing throughout the arena. A spotlight roams the arena until it finally stops at the top of the steps, where Gwen Margolis strikes a pose with her hand raised to the sky and a huge smile on her face.

One way or another, I’m gonna find ya
I’m gonna getcha getcha getcha getcha
One way or another I’m gonna win ya
I’m gonna getcha getcha getcha getcha

She takes off down the steps, high fiving fans as she makes her way down to the front row and vaults over the barricade.

Lexi: From Austin Texas by way of the open road, she is the time traveling punk rock warrior herself, GWEN MARGOLIS!

Gwen rushes up the ring steps and throws her hands up into peace signs before ducking through the ropes, bouncing in her corner as she waits for the match to begin.

Zack: I think Gwen may have surprised not only her opponent that night but many of our fans when they saw her pull out a submission victory for herself in her Future Shock debut. We didn’t see much of that when she was teaming with Uncle Monty. And I’m curious to see if she has any other surprises for us.

Claire: Despite her young age, Gwen has a phenomenal amount of experience competing in the ring. I’m sure in those years she’ll have picked up an awful lot of ideas and techniques that she’ll bring to bear whenever the opportunity arises. I’m looking forward to seeing how much pain she can inflict on Fiona tonight.

Zack: You won’t have to wait much longer. Here goes the neighborhood…

“Pour it up” by Rihanna begins to play loudly all throughout the arena. As it does we are able to see Fiona walking from the back joined by Kyle Kilmeade. Fiona is holding an umbrella in her hand and she pops it open. As it does, 100 dollar bills begin to flow from the ceiling.

Lexi: Ladies and gentlemen making her way to the ring being accompanied by Kyle Kilmeade weighing in at 130 pounds from Belfast North Ireland, she is “The Weather Girl” “The self Proclaimed Innovator of Moonsaults” Fiona O’Dalaigh!!

She uses the umbrella to keep them from hitting her. Fiona twirls her umbrella in circles and laughs at the fans booing her as Kyle tells her to ignore them.. She slides into the ring and gives Kyle her umbrella. She pulls down on her booty shorts a bit, spanking on her ass as she waits for the match to start.

Zack: It’s been about 7 years since Fiona has competed in a wrestling ring. The laundry list of people she managed to piss off during her time in SVW reads like a Who’s Who. She claims she’ll be the next Nova Champion, and she hasn’t even had a match till right now. And she is one of the most insufferable people I’ve known in this sport. I know Kyle always has his clients ready, but…maybe she skipped a few training days to give weather forecasts.

Claire: She is just one of those women who has a knack for being able to get under your skin and irritate you. No matter who you are – even if you have the patience of a saint. Like you said though, Kyle always has his clients well prepared and there might be some ring rust after seven years…but there also might be just as many surprises from the self proclaimed Innovator of Moonsaults as we get from Gwen tonight.

Referee Ashley Pruitt called for the bell to start the match as Fiona was limbering up in her corner. She kicked one leg up on the top rope, and did some forward stretches and continued to do the same with the other leg. Gwen headed towards her, but since Fiona was technically in the ropes, Pruitt made her stay back. The blonde was about to go again when she finished, but Fiona was using the top rope to do some squats. And again, the referee had to stop Gwen.

Claire: At least Fiona hasn’t forgotten about the importance of warming up to prevent injuries in her seven years away. Of course, she could’ve done all this in the back rather than annoy Gwen and all these fans.

Zack: Yeah, that’s what I was thinking too. There was a whole match before this she could have been doing all this, and working up a good sweat. At least she’s in no danger of pulling a hammy.

After seemingly finishing her workout in the corner, she rolled her head on her shoulders to loosen up her neck and stepped forward with her hand out in a show of sportsmanship. And she was already talking as she did it, congratulating Gwen on making it to Future Shock and that except for tonight, she saw clear skies ahead for her. Fiona then told her she’d make history tonight as the first loss on Fiona’s way to the Nova title. Gwen’s expression showed she didn’t feel the same as Fiona still had her hand out with a big grin on her face.

Claire: So how long do you think it’ll be before Gwen snaps and starts going all Incredible Hulk on Loki with the weather girl? And do you think someone could bring me some popcorn ready for when that happens?

Zack: Looking at Gwen’s face, I don’t think Fiona is winning her over with this commentary. I know for a fact I wouldn’t shake that woman’s hand on a bet. But…GWEN WILL THOUGH!

Gwen took her hand, and yanked her forward before pasting her with forearms to the side of her head. The Louisville crowd loved it as the blonde still had hold her of her hand before scooping her onto her shoulders into an airplane spin that sent the redhead crashing to the mat before the blonde dove on top of her with both legs hooked for the cover!

Zack: It might be over already!

ONE!!

Fiona kicked out as soon as the one hit the mat, and rolled away from her. Gwen went to grab her before she got away, but just missed her. The weather girl got back to her feet before Margolis grabbed a rear waistlock, and dropped her with a wheelbarrow facebuster.

Claire: This is what I was looking forward to seeing!! Fiona’s not going to get much chance to show off her moonsaults while Gwen’s slamming her into the canvas like a rag doll!!

Zack: I think Fiona talked herself into an ass whooping with all that chatter telling Gwen about her future. It’s looking pretty bright to me!

Fiona lunged for the ropes as Gwen was getting back to her feet. Margolis grabbed her foot, while Fiona had both hands on the middle rope. And she had a very tight grip as Gwen repeatedly tried to pull her free, but Fiona’s knuckles were whiter with how tightly she had the middle rope. The referee made Gwen let go since she was in the ropes, and the blonde obliged her before Fiona darted out under the bottom rope and joined her manager on the floor.

Zack: I don’t care how much training you’ve had. It’s not the same as when you’re facing someone who actually wants to beat you, and I think that may be what Fiona’s realizing.

Claire: There’s a difference to being in shape in the gym and being in shape for an actual competitive match. Like Tyson said, everyone has a plan till they get punched in the face.

She huddled with Kyle on the floor, and Gwen shook her head with disappointment. When Pruitt started her ten count on the redhead, Margolis rolled out around the corner to go get her. The weather girl spotted her, and took off in the same direction around the next corner. But as Gwen passed Kyle, he stuck his foot out and let her trip over it. It dropped her face down on the floor, but she popped up quickly in his face before Fiona doubled back to her manager. She grabbed two handfuls of Gwen’s hair, and started slamming her face into the apron repeatedly. The redhead flashed a grin to her manager before leaving Gwen at his feet as she rolled into the ring.

Claire: Kyle certainly got his client the opening but I don’t think that’s likely to keep Gwen done and if I was Fiona I’m not sure I’d give her a chance to recover.

Zack: I’m with you, Claire. I’d have put her back in the ring first, and went after her. Instead, she’s left Gwen at Kilmeade’s feet. That’s not a great place to be either, to be fair.

Kyle quickly moved away from Uncle Monty’s niece as she was getting back to her feet. O’Dalaigh stepped out onto the apron and charged down with a kick to her chest that sent Gwen stumbling backwards. Fiona turned her back to Gwen, and leapt off the apron with a moonsault splash that wiped Gwen out at ringside. She popped back to her feet shouting “INNOVATOR OF MOONSAULTS” to the crowd. They booed her, but Kyle clapped for her before she began stomping Gwen’s head on the floor.

Zack: She’s really feeling her oats now, isn’t she? Fiona’s having a good time at the expense of Gwen, and there’s no doubt who the fans here in the Garden are behind. I could also do with less of her screaming.

Claire: Fiona’s showing her favourite offense there. Shoehorning it and it’s given her the upper hand – at least for now. We’ll see if she can keep it long enough to score a debut victory.

She finally rolled Gwen back into the ring as the referee was up to a seven count. The blonde was beginning to get to her feet before Fiona joined her in the ring, and used a running hip attack to the side of her head that landed her sitting in the corner dazed. The redhead grinned wider as she charged the corner with a running knee into Gwen’s chest before turning herself around….rubbing her ass in the blonde’s face. O’Dalaigh amused herself immensely before walking out of the corner and dusting off her backside where Gwen’s face had been.

Claire: She’d better hope she can keep the advantage after her choice of attack right there because if Gwen gets back into this, you know she’ll hand out a receipt or three.

Zack: I’ve been calling Future Shock since it rebooted back in 2015, and I have never seen anyone rub their ass in another opponent’s face before.

Margolis used the ropes to pull herself to her feet as Fiona charged her with a corner clothesline in mind. But the blonde caught her coming in with a boot to the face that staggered Fiona…just before Gwen went berserk with furious right hands to the side of her head. The crowd was roaring now as Gwen yanked her head down to drive relentless knee lifts into her face. A gutwrench suplex planted her onto the canvas after that before Gwen dragged her back to her feet. She whipped her across to the far side into a tilt-a-whirl suplex that crashed the weather girl back to the mat.

Zack: Yeah….that’s about the response I expected. What Fiona did was try to embarrass her, and Gwen is handing out one hell of a receipt after having Fiona’s ass in her face!

Claire: In a way you have to admire Fiona’s confidence in doing what she does and making her ridiculous claims without a hint of embarrassment. But what we’re seeing here is what happens when you get your just desserts.

Fiona got to her feet, only to be grabbed into a full nelson. Gwen walked her into the corner, and proceeded to slam her face into the top turnbuckle while she was applying the hold. It made it impossible for O’Dalaigh to block it before Margolis spun her around and delivered a full nelson slam into a cover!

Zack: I’ve never seen the full nelson used like that! Gwen’s gonna send the weather girl out of Louisville with her first loss!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

THR-NOPE!

Fiona got her shoulder off the mat in time, and Gwen slapped her arm.. The redhead started to get up before Margolis took off for the far side. She came back with a lariat in mind, but Fiona ducked and stopped herself before she hit the ropes. That’s when Fiona surprised her with a backstabber to put her down, and give the weather girl a chance to sit up and collect herself.

Claire: This match is swinging back and forth. Fiona certainly seems to have shaken off any ring rust she might’ve had. Either that or Gwen has beaten it off of her.

Finally getting herself together, Fiona pulled Gwen towards her into a seated triangle choke. With one arm and her head trapped between the redhead’s legs, Fiona immediately began applying the most pressure possible. Pruitt dropped beside them to see if Gwen wanted to give up. The blonde didn’t give any sign she wanted to as Fiona started scooting herself towards the ropes gradually. Kyle encouraged her to squeeze together as Pruitt’s attention was fully on Gwen, allowing him to push the middle rope forward and Fiona to grab it with both hands for additional pressure.

Claire: Unsurprisingly a client of Kyle’s is taking a shortcut. That grip on the rope is allowing her to push her hips upwards and a touch more and just increase the pressure on the artery. Gwen needs the escape quickly.

Zack: Either that or ther referee needs to look behind her.

Gwen pulled at Fiona’s legs trying to free herself so she could breathe, at least until the referee glanced over and saw what was going on. She kicked Fiona’s hands free of the ropes, and the weather girl got back to her feet. She shoved Pruitt backwards, and the referee returned the favor. Fiona was not the least bit happy, and was about to grab the referee again when Kyle hopped onto the apron to try to talk her out of it.

Zack: The referee isn’t putting up with it, and I like it! Though she’s playing with fire doing that to any wrestler in a match.

Claire: Pruitt’s doing her job and if Fiona carries on, her debut is going to end up in a disqualification and potentially a pretty big fine for laying her hands on an official. Kyle’s gotta get her back on track here and make her understand her battle isn’t with the referee.

Fiona backed away as Kyle was now talking to the referee from the corner. The redhead rolled out to the floor, and headed for the timekeeper’s table. She snatched up her umbrella she brought during her entrance. Gwen was finally starting to get up in the ring before Fiona pointed the umbrella at her…and sparks flew out into her face!

Zack: WHAT THE HELL?!

Claire: That damned umbrella!! Like something from James Bond!

Gwen clutched her face in pain, and staggered around before Fiona dropped it and slid back into the ring. She scooped her legs from under her, stacking them over her body as she went for a cover! Kyle pointed it out to the referee before she turned around and dove into position! Gwen squirmed underneath, still covering her face.

Claire: The referee didn’t see it and Fiona’s about to steal a win on her return!!!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Zack: And that’s gonna do it! Gwen could be blinded or burned or both!

The referee called for the bell before Fiona hopped to her feet. Pruitt started checking on Gwen, who was still holding her face. The official called for some help as Kyle went ahead and raised his client’s hand. Monty was the first to his niece’s side though.

Lexi: Your winner by pinfall…….FIONA O’DALAIGH!!

One of the medical staff took off towards the ring as Kyle congratulated his client, bringing another beaming smile to her face before she blew everyone a kiss and then slapped her own ass to tell them where to kiss. Monty looked ready to do something about it, but instead focused on Gwen.

Zack: That was revolting! Future Shock’s answer to the Penguin returns with a win in her debut, and she doesn’t give a damn about what she could have done to Gwen.

Claire: The last time she was around Fiona only gave a damn about herself, associating with some of the worst people I’ve ever come across in wrestling. Seven years later and it looks like she’s pretty much picked up right where she left off.

The pair left the ring as Fiona took her manager’s hand before sauntering towards the back with her umbrella over her shoulder, twirling it in her hand as the show went to a commercial for Future Shock merchandise.

Still On Top

We next see Sara standing backstage, and she’s joined by the reigning Future Shock Champion herself, that being Sydney Christensen.

Sara: Two weeks ago tonight in Lille, France, this woman made the first successful defense of her reign as the Future Shock Championship. First of all, Sydney, congratulations on that. You’re turning into a real global champion after winning it in your hometown in Canada and defending it halfway across the world in France at Global Wars.

The Canadian smiles as she glances down at the Future Shock championship resting on her shoulder as she gives it a little pat.

Sydney: Sometimes all it takes is one moment where you look in the mirror and everything suddenly becomes a lot clearer. It took one of those moments before the triple threat in Calgary for me to put a lot in perspective. That obviously paid off, because here I am. And two weeks ago, I told everyone that as hard as I worked to get this championship, I’m going to work even harder to keep it. Alessandra gave me a run for my money. Alessandra is as good as she says and as good as everyone makes her out to be. But as good as she is….I was better.

Sara: There’s no question on the night that that was true. But now we see the challengers really starting to line up. For one, there’s the winner of Global Wars this year, Jacqui Minogue. Someone you’ve faced before, and has earned her way to do it again. Were you surprised she won for Australia?

Sydney: Honestly? No I wasn’t. If anything, I was actually happy that she won. Another first time country win, and from one that Future Shock holds so dearly too. I know Jacqui has said that she would make it back to the Future Shock championship picture, and she made good on that promise. Now whether or not she actually capitalizes on the chance remains to be seen.

Sara: Then there’s the match that was signed for Fury as a Future Shock spotlight match. We learned about it Saturday night at Breaking Point. It’s no secret that Alessandra has been wanting another round with Cait after what happened last year, and both of them will compete to see who gets a shot at the title. Of course, we’ve had Cait carrying around her own Future Shock Championship for weeks now. Do you have a preference here? Is another round with Alessandra more appealing? Or perhaps facing Cait to show her who the actual champion is?

Sydney rolls her eyes as she glances down at the manicured fingers on her free hand.

Sydney: You mean the former champion who threw a fit and got something shiny to shut her up? That woman? She can be content living in her own bubble with the delusions of grandeur that her manager fills her head with. She can walk around with the fake championship. She’s going to have to come to grips with the fact that she lost and I’m the TRUE Future Shock champion. Now as far as Alessandra goes? Anytime she wants another go around, all she has to do is ask and I’ll give her a repeat performance of last time.

Sara: Lastly, I want to circle back around to Jacqui for a moment. Because it’s been revealed on Twitter earlier today…she will be receiving her shot at the title on the biggest stage of all, in Detroit at Unstoppable 13! So that means you very well could be the one standing across from her defending the Future Shock Championship. What would being part of Unstoppable mean to you?

She pauses for a second, glancing down at the ground before looking back at Sara, a grin slowly forming on her face.

Sydney: Let me correct you on one teeny thing, Sara. Unstoppable….I WILL be the one defending My Future Shock championship against Jacqui. The biggest stage of them all, and it’s only right that this match takes place on that stage. Being part of Unstoppable, where careers are made, it would mean everything to me. It’s kind of funny in a way, that out of everyone in Future Shock who has been deemed worthy enough of a spotlight match on an FFW show, this will be my first one. Go big or go home, right? I know Cait and Alessandra are going to have something to say about it, and why wouldn’t they? I’ll put either one of them down and move on to the big show versus a very worthy contender.

Sara: If I had to pick a time and place for me to have a match that will spotlight this roster, I can’t think of a better place to do it than Unstoppable. There’s gonna be over 60,000 people at Ford Field to see this match live, after all.

Sydney: This is the definition of go big or go home. And allow me to make a prediction right here and now. The Future Shock championship match? It’s going to steal the show in Detroit.

Sara: Thanks for taking the time to talk with me tonight, Sydney. There’s a lot on the plate of the Future Shock Champion, but she certainly looks ready to take it all on.

Then the show heads back to the ring for the next match.

The show returns to the darkened arena, as Lexi begins to speak once more, and that’s when the lights come up.

Lexi: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is your main event of the evening!

The loud strumming of a guitar could be heard across the Pa system. As it does we can see the silhouette of a woman on the tron strumming at a guitar. The woman tosses the guitar to the side and as she does she slowly emerges from behind the curtain. Sapphire smiles as she is in a blue glittery attire. She isn’t around as she is with best friend Emerald McAdams. The blue make their way down the ramp to the loud ovation of boos.

Lexi: Making her way to the ring being accompanied by Emerald McAdams, she is “The Shining Star” Sapphire Taylor!!!

Sapphire stops as she takes it all in. She cracks a very wicked grin before she sprints into the ring. She quickly makes her way to her feet where she does a backflip. The crowd just boos loudly as she does. She ignores them as Emerald tells them to be quiet. Sapphire smiles before bouncing about and waiting for things to get underway.

Zack: Sapphire gave a great accounting of herself at Global Wars, but she can wash away that bad night at the office if she can upset the new Diamond Champion in her first match after winning it. Nadia would also be well advised to keep an eye on Emerald McAdams. She’s not shy about interjecting herself.

Claire: No she’s not and she’ll do all that she can to try and swing this in Sapphire’s favour. A win tonight for the Gemstone and she’ll put herself in contention for the Diamond Championship. Nadia’s going to have to be on her guard tonight against a very dangerous opponent.

The lights in the arena dim and the almost haunting intro to ‘Good For You’ begins to play around the arena. A warm spotlight hits the center of the stage and the curtain at the entrance is pulled back to reveal a feminine figure standing just outside the reach of the spotlight.

I'm on my fourteen carats
I'm fourteen carat
Doing it up like Midas
Now you say I got a touch
So good, so good
Make you never wanna leave
So don't, so don't

The figure steps into the light to reveal Nadia Beaulieu holding her Championship in her hand. Dressed in provocative ring gear, that shows of her figure to perfection, she stands with one hand on her hip with the championship in it. The other raised towards her mouth with one finger resting gently on her bottom lip. She lowers her head a little as she looks around the crowd with a hooded gaze.

Gonna wear that dress you like, skin-tight
Do my hair up real, real nice
And syncopate my skin to your heart beating

She slowly tilts her head back and runs her finger down from her lip, over her chin and down the front of her cleavage still keeping the hooded gaze as she does. She sways her hips and starts to lower herself in rhythm with the music. She takes her time to make her way down, before taking just as much time to stand upright again. The blonde starts making her way down the ramp with a strut, running her hands down her curves at the side as she does.

'Cause I just wanna look good for you, good for you
I just wanna look good for you, good for you
Let me show you how proud I am to be yours
Leave this dress a mess on the floor
And still look good for you, good for you

Lexi: Introducing at this time, from Beaune, France……One half of the Future Shock Tag Team Champions as well as the NEW reigning Diamond Champion…………..NADIA BEAULIEU!

I'm on my marquise diamonds
I'm a marquise diamond
Could even make that Tiffany jealous
You say I give it to you hard
So bad, so bad
Make you never wanna leave
I won't, I won't

Nadia reaches the ring and climbs the steps, before scaling to the top of the turnbuckle from the outside. She gets her balance and then runs her hands down her sides again, before she somersaults off the top to land on her feet in the ring. Immediately dropping down into the splits once she has. She stays there for a moment before getting back to her feet and raising her championship high into the air. From there she heads to her corner to await the start of the match.

Zack: I imagine Nadia has been living rent free on cloud 9 for the last two weeks. And after hearing Lexi lay out all those titles, it’s gotta feel even better! They said she lived in Alessandra’s shadow. And those people were proven dead wrong at Global Wars.

Claire: Nadia’s star is certainly in the ascendancy right now and it was one heck of a match that she wrestled at Global Wars. She might be ecstatic hearing those accolades again just now but she has to put it out of her mind, get her game face on and focus on shutting down Sapphire’s Diamond Championship aspirations - at least for now.

Referee Melinda Davis called for the bell to start the match. Nadia looked as serious as ever as she stepped out of the corner, and gave the title to Lexi through the ropes before the timekeeper went back to the table. At ringside, Emerald tried to get a chant going for Sapphire, but that didn’t work out at all. Taylor headed for the center of the ring, and took the chance to let Nadia know the Gemstones had a huge following in France and that her entire homeland was probably cheering for her to win tonight.

Zack: All the Gemstones are good at running their mouths, aren’t they? You think Ruby’s win at Breaking Point has given Sapphire even more confidence tonight?

Claire: It might have been a confidence boost for the likes of Sapphire. Might also give her a target to aim for, shows her what is possible with some hard work, determination and back up in the corner.

Then the newcomer began talking about how Nadia’s title should belong to the Gemstones, because her name is Sapphire and she’s the Diamond of the group in Future Shock. Emerald parroted everything she was hearing at ringside, and it was obvious that all of this was growing heavier on Nadia’s nerves. And it wasn’t until Sapphire told the referee to retrieve the title so she could see how it looked on her waist that Nadia had had enough. She surprised the blue–haired wrestler with a headbutt to the face before unloading with right hands to the side of her head. She whipped Taylor into the corner chest first, causing her to stop herself before she hit the turnbuckles. When Sapphire turned around, Nadia was already running and left her feet with a hurricanrana to snap her down to the mat.

Zack: Nadia had enough of that, she’s definitely got more patience than I do. You believe that? She’s the ‘diamond’ of the Gemstones in Future Shock….she’s the only Gemstone in Future Shock!

Claire: Well, Zack, I’m pretty certain none of the Gemstones should be holding their breath waiting for their invitations to join MENSA to arrive. Sapphire should forget running her mouth tonight, Nadia has the talent to outclass almost everyone on this roster when she’s on her game.

Sapphire had barely gotten back to her feet before Nadia used a running knee to her body to double her over in pain. She quickly hooked her head into a battering ram to drive it into the middle turnbuckle. With Taylor dazed against the corner, the champion climbed up to the middle rope and let the fans count off ten punches to her head followed by a monkey flip that deposited her into the center of the ring.

Zack: Sapphire should have started this match a little more quiet, and maybe a little humble. All that jaw jacking got her was a fired up Diamond Champion who hasn’t missed once since the bell rang!

Claire: She’s definitely gotten under the Frenchwoman’s skin but it hasn’t resulted in the mistakes that I think she was hoping she’d be able to take advantage of. Instead it’s turning into a harsh lesson for the Gemstone.

Taylor got to her feet again, and stumbled backwards into the ropes off balance. Nadia charged her with a spinning leg lariat that sent her through the ropes to bounce off the apron to the floor. The Louisiana crowd loved it, and Davis went to start her count. Meanwhile, Emerald was checking on her client and pointing to the Diamond title, reminding her she could have a shot at it when she beat Nadia. The referee was up to four at this point, while Nadia paced back and forth waiting for her opponent to return to the ring.

Zack: Emerald’s right about one thing that I heard. What do you think, Claire? Should Nadia be waiting on her like this or going out to get her back in the ring?

Claire: I don’t hate that she’s waiting on her. If she went out the ring there’s a chance she’d have to deal with Emerald…and as we’ve seen, you don’t necessarily need to be a trained wrestler out there to be able to do enough to buy your client an opening. And if somehow, Sapphire doesn’t make it back before the ten, well…

Sapphire headed for the ring, and was about to climb onto the apron when Emerald started whispering something in her ear. The whisper was cut short when Nadia grabbed two handfuls of her hair and pulled her up with her onto the apron. She drove ten forearms across her chest before using the top rope for a slingshot to send Taylor back inside the ropes. Emerald pounded the mat, complaining to Davis that Nadia was pulling hair…until Nadia stomped her hand.

Claire: After all the talk earlier, Nadia doesn’t seem to be in the mood to deal with bullshit from anyone - Emerald included and just gave her a little warning shot right there.

Zack: Maybe she’ll keep her hands to herself. Kind of a pre-emptive warning there from Nadia. I like it!

Sapphire got back to her feet as Nadia turned around, and held up her hands as she apologized to Nadia for insulting her. She told her it was just the heat of the moment as she backed up into the corner with Nadia advancing towards her. She even crossed her heart and told her how much of a fan she was before holding out that hand for a handshake. Emerald applauded her for being so sincere, but it hurt her hand after about two claps. Nadia looked to the fans, and back to Sapphire who lunged forward with a thumb in her eye to blind her. She pulled the blonde’s head down to land multiple knee lifts to her face before dropping her with a single arm DDT. She sat up with a big grin on her face as Emerald praised her for how brilliant she was.

Claire: Sapphire certainly suckered Nadia in there and a thumb to the eye will stop anyway in their tracks - it’s like running straight into a brick wall.

Zack: Look at that shit-eating grin on her face. She’s proud of herself. I think I’d press the advantage on the Diamond Champion rather than flashing her pearly whites.

Pulling the champion to her feet, Sapphire dragged her face along the top rope before slamming it against the nearest top turnbuckle. With the blonde dazed and blinded, Sapphire took off for the far side to return with a running boot to Nadia’s face. She scooped her up into a tree of woe, and started stomping away at her body repeatedly. This drew nothing but boos from the Kentucky crowd before she sat her up facing the crowd, turned away from her and brought her down to the mat with a crucifix powerbomb! Taylor rolled through for the cover!

Zack: Sapphire with a page out of Luther Thunder’s playbook! We may have another mandatory challenger!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOO!!!

Nadia kicked out at the two count though, and Sapphire followed up with a double knee drop to her body to keep her down.

Claire: Sapphire a second away from booking herself a title match in the future and at least this time she’s being smart enough to stay on top of Nadia and not give her time to recover.

The newcomer took off for the ropes, and came back with a running senton. Next, she headed for the corner to make her way up top. Sapphire quickly glanced between her legs, and launched into a shooting star press before hooking the leg for another cover!

Zack: Look at the hangtime on that shooting star, and Sapphire’s gonna shock the world!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

T-NOOO!!

Nadia got her shoulder up, and rolled to her side as she clutched her abdomen where Sapphire had landed. Emerald shouted nothing but praise, telling her the title shot was practically hers as Sapphire got back to her feet.

Claire: If I’m Emerald I wouldn’t count those chickens just yet. We’ve seen before that Nadia is as tough as they come having gone toe to toe with the Doomsday Sisters and River Campbell. Sapphire still has a lot of work to do before she can think about the title match.

Taylor told the crowd it was about to be over when she darted for the ropes, using them for a springboard into her twisting senton bomb…..but no one was there when she landed when Nadia rolled out of the way. The champion lunged across her for the cover with both legs hooked, except Emerald was now on the apron and arguing with the referee that the last count was a three and not a two. All the while, Nadia still had the cover!

Claire: Emerald might be saving her bandmate from defeat right now!! Still, this might be the opening for Nadia to build on and put this match away!

Zack: Nadia’s had her for the count for up to about a 9, but the referee is still arguing with that moron! I hear a rumble near the stage…I don’t know what that’s about!

Finally, Nadia broke the cover and got back to her feet. That’s when Emerald hopped down off the apron, and the referee returned her attention to the match. The French beauty pulled her opponent up to her feet, firing a few more knees into her body before the champion took off towards the ropes. She rebounded and rolled over Sapphire’s back to land on her feet. And when the brunette’s head came back up, Nadia grabbed her arms into a full nelson facebuster! She quickly went for the cover again!

Zack: Look at the agility by the new Diamond Champion! Sapphire’s in La-La land!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NOPE.

The count stopped as Emerald reached into the ring, and pulled her client by the leg to the ropes. And that was when Nadia’s face flashed….and also when Aviva Miller came towards the ring.

Claire: Emerald saves Sapphire skin once more and here comes the new number one contender to the Diamond Championship. Her and Sapphire aren’t best buddies either!

Aviva made a beeline towards Emerald, causing the manager to start moving around the ring walking backwards. That didn’t stop Miller as she walked towards her, causing the manager to back up the ramp with the newcomer trailing after her. Nadia pulled Sapphire back to her feet, peppering her with forearms before snapping her up with a belly to belly overhead suplex. She headed for the corner until the boos began.

Zack: Aviva’s getting Emerald the hell out of here, and more power to her! Now what’s going on? Nadia’s on the top rope, I think I know what she has in mind.

Aviva had Emerald all the way to the top of the ramp, trying to corral her to the back when the “Forever Champion” appeared on the other side of the stage to make her way down to the ring. Ashley went to the table to snatch up the Diamond title…until Nadia hopped down to the apron and then the floor before spinning Chase around and blasting her with a right hand to the jaw that caused her to drop the title. Nadia scooped it back up as Sapphire was getting to her feet inside the ring.

Zack: We’ve got the whole damn Diamond division out here! Chase came to look at that title, and Nadia unloaded on her for it!

Claire: I’m not sure she was only wanting to look at it, though, Zack. Doesn’t she strike you as the type of woman who takes what she wants?

Nadia returned the title to Lexi before darting back into the ring as the count was going up to 7. Sapphire caught her coming through the ropes by kicking the middle one between her legs. That stopped the champion in her tracks before Taylor hooked her head for a suspension DDT to the canvas. She rolled her over for the cover as Davis dropped to count.

Zack: Sapphire caught her coming in, and this might be the best weekend ever for the Gemstones in three seconds!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEE-NOO!!

Nadia kicked out in time once again, and Sapphire got back to her feet in a huff. The champion wasn’t far behind her though, and Sapphire took off for the far side. She came back with a flying shoulder tackle….that missed when Nadia moved and took down the referee.

Claire: There’s go the referee and that could be bad news for Nadia right now! She’s got a recovering Ashley still out here as well as her opponent to worry about!!

The champion’s mouth dropped when she saw the referee go down, and went to assist her as Ashley hit the ring with the ring bell in her hand.

Zack: What’s she gonna do with that?!

Nadia helped reorient the referee, and rose up just as Ashley swung for her head. But the champion ducked it, and returned fire with a spinning roundhouse kick that sent it back into Chase’s face before she fell through the ropes. The champion hopped onto the corner, and caught Sapphire as she was turning around with her blockbuster finisher before making the cover!

Zack: Ashley got what she deserved, and that’s one of Nadia’s favorites….FALLING FOR YOU!!!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Davis weakly called for the bell as Lexi was retrieving it from the ring. The champion helped the referee to her feet, and in turn, got her hand raised officially.

Claire: Ashley got caught trying to get the drop on the Diamond Champion and Nadia had the perfect opening to put Sapphire away. Her reign as Champion gets off to the best possible start despite all the sharks circling around her!

Lexi: Your winner by pinfall……………NADIA BEAULIEU!!!

Nadia grabbed her title, and looked from Aviva to Sapphire to Ashley as Kyle was helping her up to her feet.

Zack: Nadia picks up a hard-fought win, but I think this was just the calm before the storm. She’s got three women all looking to get their hands on that title, and the only one she can trust is the number one contender! The Diamond division has erupted tonight in Louisville!

Claire: She’ll have her work cut out for her, for sure. But Nadia has the talent, the skill, the determination and most importantly the heart to meet them all head on and emerge from this with the Championship still in her possession.

Nadia raised her title over her head, waving on anyone who wanted it to come get it. And that was the image that Future Shock faded off the air showing.
