Live from the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor, Maine
May 24, 2022

The limousine pulls up outside of a bank somewhere in Boston before the driver opens the door to let Cait Flanagan and Kyle Kilmeade out. She takes his arm, and heads inside and is immediately escorted to a vault filled with stacks of money. But she notices one pedestal set aside for the title she wants most. “Legendary” by Skillet begins to play as someone dashes past the camera, and the pair look out to see whoever it is with the Future Shock Championship.

My heart bleeds adrenaline
The fire I breathe is where I live

It turns out to be Charlotte Harker, who darts out of the bank and around a corner at top speed with it in her hands. She doesn’t get far before Shaw trips her up, and takes the title away from her with a shake of her head. As she’s looking down at her former tag partner with annoyance, the title gets lifted out of her hand before the woman holding it ducks into a parked car and starts it up. The driver is Jacqui Minogue.

Top, to the top
Ain't never gonna stop
To the top, to the top
Ain't never gonna stop

Jacqui speeds through the streets of Boston till she runs into a familiar woman holding up traffic by standing in the middle of the crosswalk. Jacqui looks closer, and sees it’s Shaughnessy O’Neill who makes a beeline for her car. Minogue locks the doors and rolls up the window before someone else rises up from the backseat...that being Alessandra Esposito. She snatches the title out of the passenger seat, and bolts from the car onto the crowded sidewalks. She only gets so far before she’s spotted. Cait, Jacqui, and Shaw close in on her before a car honks to get her attention. She hops into the Italian sports car, leaving her pursuers in the dust..

Never gonna keep me down (never keep me)
Still the one that's standing now (never falling)
Destiny is calling me
Go down in history
Every day I'll fight to be
Legendary

Watching out the window of one of the nearby buildings at the plight of the would-be champions is a very amused Angelina and Arabella before the show cuts live inside the Cross Insurance Center. The fans roar as the show goes live, and sparklers shoot around the stage all the way down the ramp until another burst shoots from the ring posts. The camera shows the Future Shock logo on the ring mat before cutting to Zack and Claire at ringside.

Zack: Welcome to the Pine Tree State! We are live from the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor, Maine for the 115th presentation of Future Shock. Thank you for joining us wherever you are, and we’re on the road to FFW vs. Future Shock live July 5 on FFW All Access. Three matches have already been signed, and I understand we may add more to that card tonight.

Claire: It’s already shaping up to one heck of a barnstorming, blockbuster of a night with some of the main rosters best and brightest stepping up to the plate to represent the FFW side and with a Unstoppable main event rematch for the Pure Championship to cap it all off.

Zack: I can confirm that Savannah Star is in the Cross Insurance Center tonight, because she’s getting the chance to pick her opponent for FFW vs. Future Shock off the roster. There’s a lot of potential dream matches we could see depending on who she picks. I have no idea who it might be though. I’ve tried to work out a few names, but nothing comes to mind. How about you?

Claire: I think it very much depends on how Savannah wants to play it. Whether she wants to test the mettle of some new up and coming superstar, or maybe face off against someone who was on the main roster but has returned to Future Shock recently. Whoever it is will certainly have their work cut out for them against one of the companies most highly regarded talents.

Zack: Our main event is something I’m certainly looking forward to. The “Forever Champion” and still undefeated Ashley Marie Chase gets the spotlight she always claims she deserves. It’ll be her first main event in Future Shock, but she’ll run headlong into Arabella Townshend of the Shaolin Belles. And given what I saw at Global Wars, I’m not in love with Ashley’s chances.

Claire: Arabella put up one heck of a showing in the finale of the Global Wars series against Jacqui and River but I’m not sure it was any catharsis at all - not after the events of the match with the Latina Heat. I’m sure she’ll be looking to work out some of her frustrations tonight against the undefeated Chase with Kilmeade in her corner.

Zack: Then there’s the match I know you’re anticipating. Your best friend, Serafina DeCaro, will go toe to toe with Fiona O’Dalaigh. Gonna be a busy  night for Kyle. I hope Serafina keeps her head on a swivel after what happened to Gwen on our last show.

Claire: I’m sure Kyle has no quibbles about being busy – after all, he’s probably making plenty of bank in the process. He’ll have Fiona primed for this, just like he did for her debut against Gwen and with that match behind her and some rust knocked off, I’m sure she’ll be more dangerous. However, if ‘Fina can watch out for tricked out umbrellas, she can make this a very long, very painful night for the one time weathergirl.

Zack: We’ll see how Latina Heat is holding up after Global Wars, well at least one of them. Dani is in action tonight against a fellow newcomer to the roster. Who do you like in Dani’s match against Ashley Whitmore?

Claire: I’ve heard Ashley is much improved since the last time she was on the roster and proclaiming herself as merely ‘above average’ and I’m sure with her high flying ability and her speed then she’ll be one heck of a challenge for Dani…assuming of course that we actually get this match and there’s not some side show from Latina Heat to derail Adam’s best laid plans.

Zack: Jacqui Minogue is here as well, and will be addressing her Global Wars victory as well as the announcement she’s going to be part of Unstoppable 13 when she gets to challenge for the Future Shock Championship. That will unquestionably be the biggest night of her career.

Claire: After a big night at Global Wars, she gets to cash in her prize and as an added bonus…it’s on the biggest night of the year for all of FFW. She gets a place in Future Shock’s spotlight match in front of some eighty thousand people and a global audience of millions - something that everyone on this roster dreams of. I’m sure she’s already counting down the days and waiting to find out who she’ll be facing.

Zack: As you can tell, it’s gonna be a packed show tonight. So let’s have Lexi do the honors and kick it off.

In yet another short and revealing dress, we find Lexi in the ring with her microphone ready to handle the introductions.

Lexi: The opening contest of Future Shock is scheduled for one fall.

There was a burst of pyro immediately followed by the sound of Santana’s guitar as “Into The Night” started to play, a spotlight picking out Daniela Ruiz as she stood center stage. Her head lowered, hair hanging over her face as the music played.

Like a gift from the heavens, it was easy to tell
It was love from above, like it saved me from hell
She had fire in her soul, it was easy to see how the devil himself could be pulled out of me
There were drums in the air as she started to dance
Every soul in the room keeping time with their hands and we sang

As the lyrics kicked in, her hands started to move up her body, accentuating her figure before she flipped her head back, flicking her hair behind her and extending her arms out to the side. As the song continued, the Latina wrestler skipped her way down to the ring with a smirk on her face and with her tag team partner following along behind her. As she got to the bottom of the entrance ramp she took two quick steps forwards and launched herself under the bottom rope, sliding into the ring on her belly. Rolling onto her back she kipped up to her feet, arms outstretched once more as she spun around in a circle.

Lexi: Ladies and Gentlemen, from the city of Medellin, Columbia by way of Miami, Florida, accompanied by her partner, Francesca Garcia, please welcome… “THE DIVINE” DANIELA RUIZ!!!

As John made the ring announcement, the brunette flexed her muscles, going from muscle pose to muscle pose, sticking her tongue out slightly as she showed off then headed towards her corner. Francesca had already taken up her place in the corner, looking like a ball of energy ready to go off.

Zack: Latina Heat showed me a lot at Global Wars as they were pretty dominant for the majority of their tag match. They also showed they can take a thumping, and “Divine” Dani here will have to try to catch smoke against a woman who has fantastic speed like her opponent.

Claire: They definitely got their assault on the tag ranks off to a good, if chaotic start against the former champions at Global Wars. We’ve not really seen what Dani is capable of when she’s on her own but Francesca set a pretty high bar for her partner when she took on Angelina a few shows back.

The loud beat of “Get This Party Started” by Pink begins to blast across the speakers.

I'm comin' up so you better get this party started
I'm comin' up so you better get this party started

As soon as the chorus hits is the moment that we see a woman wearing a beanie cap emerging from behind the back curtain. She is all grins as her long pink hair cascades down her back from underneath the cap. She smirks as she begins to dance the beat and actually begins to twerk her way down the aisle.

Lexi: Introducing to the way from Toronto Ontario Canada but representing La Paloma’s Wrestling School in Mexico City, Mexico. Weighing in at 115 pounds, she is the perfect score, 4.0 Ashley Whitmore!!!!

Ashley smirks as she continues to dance to the beat. She smiles as she stops in the aisle as she spots fans all holding up score cards with the number 4.0 on it. She smiles giving them a hi five before she quickly sprints inside the ring. She chuckles before she does a cartwheel followed by a front flip before leaping into a backflip. She screams to the audience out of excitement.

Ashley: WHAT’S MY SCORE?!?!

The crowd immediately erupts with 4.0 chants.

Ashley smiles as she throws her cap to the side as she bounces around a bit waiting for the match to get underway.

Zack: This marks Ashley’s second match in Future Shock after accepting the open challenge of Elizabeth Lannister not too long ago. She didn’t come away with the win, but I think she won something better that night. And that’s the hearts of the crowd who appreciated how close she came to getting that win.

Claire: Ashley proved that she’s spent the time that she’s been gone improving one heck of a lot to come that close to beating the Lioness. Tonight she has the chance to build upon that performance and cement herself as a fan favourite…if she can overcome the chaotic nature of Daniela Ruiz.

Francesca was already back in the ring with her partner as the referee was ready to call for the bell. Referee Malcolm Parks told Frani she needed to leave the ring, but the other half of Latina Heat held up her finger, asking for a moment. She conferred with Dani before they both nodded, and offered their hands to Ashley for a handshake to guarantee a fair and clean match. Ashley didn’t quite know how to take it though.

Zack: One thing already, Claire. Why do they both want to shake her hand? It’s a singles match. Beyond that, I certainly wouldn’t take them up on it.

Claire: I guess, maybe if Francesca plays to stick around at ringside she wants Ashley to be able to focus solely on Dani? I’m clutching at straws and I wouldn’t trust either of them. Whitmore didn’t bring anything to ring they can steal has she?

Ashley seemed puzzled about it, but reluctant to take them up on the offer. So the girls conferred again, and smiled back to her and asked for a group hug. They embraced each other with one arm, and held out their other arm for Ashley to reciprocate. Once again, Whitmore kept her difference as the girls told her they were all friends and that’s what friends do before a match: hug.

Claire: Well…you’ve got to admire the Heat for trying to start a new tradition don’t you? I don’t think they’re going to get the Canadian to fall for it.

Zack: I doubt Ashley brought her money in her ring gear, so I can’t imagine what this is going to solve. And I don’t remember all that many pre-match hugs.

The girls moved closer and closer till Ashley was up against the ropes, and they actually wrapped their arms around her for a group hug. Ashley didn’t budge a move until the hug was over, and Francesca thanked her and gave her a personal hug….just before Daniella surprised her with a backstabber to the mat. She went for the cover immediately as the referee rang the bell, and dove into the cover as Francesca left the ring!

Zack: I knew it! Dani’s gonna steal the win right here!

ON–!!

Parks’ hand had gotten within a few centimeters of the mat before Ashley kicked out. She rolled quickly to her feet as Dani hopped up and ducked her head through the ropes to cause the referee to stop Ashley from trying to get to her.

Claire: Even in a singles match, the Heat are working well as a team. No wonder they felt they deserved to be jointly nominated for every award going.

Parks held Ashley back as Dani sat on the middle rope and held out her hand. She apologized to the pink-haired newcomer, telling her she didn’t mean to do it and her foot slipped. Meanwhile, Frani tried to elicit some sympathy for Dani’s alleged foot slip. But the fans weren’t buying it at all, and Ashley was already pacing back and forth.

Claire: Oh come on, what did she slip on? Does she have two left feet or something?!? You can hear what this crowd thinks about it all.

Zack: Was the pin accidental too?!

Ashley held up her hands, telling Dani she forgave her surprisingly. When the brunette stepped back into the ring, that turned out to be a lie as Whitmore lunged towards her with a double leg takedown followed by mounted forearms to the side of her head. Whitmore hopped back to her feet, and pulled Ruiz up with her for a belly to belly overhead suplex. Dani rolled to her stomach to try to get up, only to catch two shots to the ribs. That allowed Ashley to grab her arms, and fall backwards into a seated surfboard submission with Dani being contorted backwards on her knees!

Zack: Ashley’s showing off some of those technical skills, and Dani’s already snared early on in this match!

Claire: That’s a really painful move which puts so more strain on the back and arms…and the best thing about it from Ashley’s point of view is that she can hold it for almost as long as she wants.

Parks quickly asked about stopping the match, but Dani was shouting in Spanish. He asked again about stopping it before the bell rang. The pink-haired wrestler let go as the referee looked up, and they both saw it was Frani who had rung the bell. The referee waved it off since he didn’t call for it, and Francesca apologized for doing it. Ashley got to her feet, glaring down at her before Dani tried to surprise her with a backslide pin attempt!

Zack: I wouldn’t believe her apologies if they were written on Vatican stationary! Dani is looking to steal it again!

ONE!!!

Whitmore kicked out again, and rolled away from the brunette. Dani got back to her feet, favoring her lower back as she moved backwards with one hand up, once again saying she slipped.

Claire: Dani is certainly happy to try and take full advantage of any opening that she’s given. If I’m Ashley, I’d try to forget about Frani for as long as possible and just keep firing off knock out shots or stretching out her foe.

Dani backed herself into the corner with her hand up. And as Ashley advanced towards her, Ruiz caught her with a kick in the stomach. A second one landed before Dani drove her face first into the top turnbuckle repeatedly. Two handfuls of hair made a hair mare possible that sent Ashley crashing to the mat. Ruiz gave her partner a fist bump as she headed back to the center of the ring, and stood on Ashley’s hair before pulling up on her arms. It caused her to shout in pain, and the referee to get to 4 before she let go….and pulled her up again for another four count…and dropped down and pulled up one last time as Dani counted to four with the referee before letting go.

Claire: The Latina Heat member is certainly happy to flirt with disqualification but for now, she’s in charge of this contest and making it difficult for Ashley to turn the tide.

Zack: Let’s not forget this is the same referee that was trying to get Francesca’s phone number a little while back.

Dani dragged Ashley to her feet, and whipped her into the far corner chest first. It sent her staggering backwards before Dani hit the near side ropes for a flying forearm that dropped her where she stood. Ruiz took off again, hitting the far side before she rebounded with a rolling neckbreaker to drop Ashley to the canvas once more. The bell rang again, diverting attention to Frani who told the referee she thought Dani had won already and apologized.

Zack: I swear these two went to the Kilmeade School of Dirty Tactics. Someone needs to take the hammer away from her before it finds its way into the match somehow.

Claire: I think Kilmeade might be taking notes from these two. They’ve certainly done their homework and studied up on every page of Wrestling’s Dirty Tricks.

Ashley was starting to get up again before she got pulled into a corner bulldog that smacked the top of her head against the middle turnbuckle. Dani left her there and darted towards the far side again, rebounding this time with a quebrada that floored Whitmore back to the mat. She then headed up to the top in the nearest corner, waving her arms as if trying to make the fans cheer louder. It only got the opposite effect though. Dani shrugged and went for a double ax handle….only to get a boot in the face when Whitmore got her foot up in time. It stumbled her back into the corner, causing her to hold her mouth. Francesca shouted at the referee she was pulling hair.

Zack: That’s what happens when you waste time on the top rope. Dani got her bridgework realigned, and Ashley has an opening to get back into this match.

Claire: And that might have shaken loose a couple of Dani’s teeth right there! I’m sure Whitmore doesn’t give a damn though and is more than happy to keep on taking shots at Dani tonight.

Ash got back to her feet, and started unloading with chops in the corner to Dani’s chest. She landed four in a row before Ruiz was sent in for the ride. As soon as she rebounded, Whitmore used a pop-up….and walked out from under her to let her faceplant on the mat. The Bangor crowd was loudly behind her now as Frani hopped onto the apron, yelling about closed fists….until a dropkick to the chest sent her back to the floor. That got an even bigger response before the pink-haired newcomer fired Daniela across once again. This time, she caught her on the rebound with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker that caused Dani to roll onto her side with a hand against her back.

Claire: Ashley’s fighting on two fronts to great success and Dani’s gonna need a chiropractor at this rate!!

Zack: We’re seeing a lot from Ashley we didn’t see in her last match, she’s very well rounded in there. I like it!

She drove a stomp into Dani’s back before flipping her onto her stomach to apply a camel clutch submission. Ruiz shouted in pain after all the work that had been done to her back before Whitmore arched all the way back to practically laying on the mat with Dani’s body bent into a C! And the screams of pain got much louder then!

Zack: Look at that camel clutch! Dani’s being tortured right now, and to a nicer girl it couldn’t happen! We may see a submission in a matter of seconds!

Claire: You can hear her screeching in sheer agony!! The human spine is not meant to bend like that!! Ashley showing off a lot of flexibility, just like her Olympic-level gymnast sister!

Dani shouted continuously in pain before Francesca was back on the apron again. The referee went to get her down as Dani started tapping the mat furiously. Ashley kept the hold applied as Parks insisted Francesca get down. Ruiz tapped again, still no bell before Ashley let go of the hold and used a running forward to send Francesca back to the floor for the second time.

Claire: Francesca paid the price but crucially she distracted the referee long enough to keep Dani in this match and give her this brief recovery period. It might just be delaying the inevitable, but for Dani this is absolutely vital.

Zack: She was tapping out though, Claire. Ashley should have already heard the bell…legitimately this time!

Dani’s hand was pressed to her back as she laid on the mat, her teeth gritted in pain at the same time. Ashley told Parks she quit, but it didn’t help. As a result, she headed for the corner and threw herself to the mat and started echoing her sister’s famous move. One fist then another started pounding into the mat like a set of war drums. The fans stomped with her as Dani was trying to get up to her feet.

Claire: Oh Dani…poor, poor Dani…if Ashley lands this even a fraction as well as her sister, you’re going to wish that you’d stayed down and saved yourself from getting knocked out.

Zack: Ashley’s pounding the drums, and Dani’s in major trouble! This will be the knockout shot, no question about it!

Dani finally got unsteadily to her feet just as Ashley was about to take off out of the corner. But Francesca grabbed her foot to hold her in place. Whitmore went to grab her head until Dani surprised her with her springboard stunner into a quick rollup! The referee dove into position to make the count!

Zack: DAMN IT!! That’s one of her favorites! Ashley never saw it coming!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Parks called for the bell, and Dani immediately rolled out to the floor and collapsed to her knees with her hand against her back. Frani was exuberantly happy, helping her to her feet before she got her hand raised.

Claire: Credit to Daniela. She was tortured and has had her back wrecked but she managed to deliver one heck of an impact with the stunner! You can see the effects of Ashley offence on the Latina Heat member!

Lexi: Your winner by pinfall……………………..DANIELA RUIZ!!

Dani leaned over in pain after getting her hand raised, still pressing one hand against her back. Frani congratulated her, and wrapped an arm around her to help her stand upright to boos from the crowd.

Zack: Even one on one, it’s still a tag team match with Latina Heat! And they just got their first pinfall win in Future Shock. Ashley was more than game to fight, she just didn’t bring any backup or we might have a different outcome.

Claire: They work well together that’s for sure and Francesca was certainly a major influence on the way this match went. Despite the odds, though, Whitmore took the fight to them and should have had her hand raised in this one. I’m sure plenty will have taken note of that.

As the two brunettes headed towards the back amid more boos from the fans, the show went elsewhere inside the arena.

The New Gold Standard?

A video starts to play

Breaking Point 5/7/22

Allison: Well…the floor is yours. What’s the announcement?

Kyle: Effective immediately, I am disbanding the most dominant and successful faction in FFW and Future Shock history, as far as I’m concerned. I’m bringing an end to the Gold Standard.

As suspected, this news does make the crowd inside the arena very happy. It also leaves Allison with a curious expression.

Kyle: When I formed the Gold Standard all those years ago, it was designed to elevate my clients to become the most talked about and talented women on this roster. In every case since then, it’s worked. I told them then that there would be others who were jealous of their success, and they would need to look out for one another as a result. They did that, and now that responsibility is off each of their shoulders. Don’t get me wrong, I’m still managing each of them just like I always have, but now….they are their own women.

We now see what appears to be Gold High Heels

AMC: Anything that ends can only come back stronger than ever, Whatever ends can come back better than before

We now see highlights of AMC showing up various wrestlers and Kyle talking about AMC being undefeated in FFW.  We then switch back to the Gold shoes but now we start to rise up showing off a beautiful Golden dress.

AMC: Gold Standard was not just a group but a way of life and a mindset that only the best of the best have.

More video of AMC standing around looking hot as hell

AMC: The Gold Standard does not die, It only evolves into something so much better than before.

We go back to the Gold dress as it raises up more until we finally see it is Ashley Marie Chase wearing the Golden ensemble. Next to AMC is a pallet of iron bars and when she touches them *poof* they turn to a pallet of gold.

AMC: Everything i touch turns to gold

AMC smiles and we see a and hear a bling come from her teeth

AMC: I am the Gold Standard of Professional Wrestling and tonight FUTURE SHOCK will see first hand why I always was and still am Kyle’s Number One Client!

AMC blows a kiss to the camera and Golden Lips end up on the screen

THE GOLD STANDARD DEBUTS TONIGHT!!!

The Stars Pay a Visit

Video footage is shown from earlier in the night as Savannah Star and her husband leave the office of the Future Shock Director Adam Grant, both looking pleased. And that’s when the show returns live to find the couple with Sara.

Sara: Sara here, and it looks like we have another match signed for FFW vs. Future Shock on July 5th. I’m here with Savannah Star and her husband, Seth. You were given the opportunity to name your opponent for–

Seth: Don’t pardon me for cutting in. Sara, is it? You happen to be standing in the presence of one of the best wrestlers alive today. One of the biggest names, and the best you can do is go right to business. What happened to a warm welcome for my wife? After all, it’s not as though you see her on Future Shock week in and week out.

Sara took a deep breath, and restarted.

Sara: Welcome to Future Shock, Savannah.

Seth: Much better. But let’s try Mrs. Star.

Sara: Welcome to Future Shock, Mrs. Star.

Savannah smiles sweetly at her husband before giving him a kiss on the cheek, then turning her attention back to Sara.

Savannah: Thank you for that warm and worthy welcome, Sara. Truly, the pleasure is all yours.

Seth: Now we both know what you want to ask about. You want to know my bewitching wife chose to honor by being in the ring with her at FFW vs. Future Shock.

Sara: Right. I assume she’s picked one of the top names on the roster. Possibly Cait or Jacqui?

Seth: Well you’d lose that bet then. I said someone who would be honored to have the spot across the ring from my wife. Neither of the aforementioned would appreciate such a thing. No, my stunning bride picked someone much more worthy: Ashley Whitmore.

Sara looked surprised at that.

Sara: Ashley?! But she just started, and has only had two matches since she got here to Future Shock.

Savannah shakes her shoulders as she laughs. But it is not a kind, light hearted laugh. It’s a laugh that is hiding some sure-to-be bad intentions.

Savannah: Sara, come on. You of all people should know what these girls here in Future Shock are going to face should they make it to the FFW roster. It’s not going to be an easy ride. I’m just doing my part to make sure that they know exactly what they are getting themselves into and what awaits them. Where is the harm in that?

Seth: She’s entirely right. That is the goal, after all. To one day join the FFW roster, and be part of the biggest stages in women’s wrestling. Ashley should be thrilled…overwhelmed…joyous that she will have this opportunity on July 5th. Just the ring time will do her wonders, and might even propel her to better days on this roster.

Sara: If you say so…

Seth: We do.

Seth gives his wife a kiss as the graphic for the newly added match to FFW vs. Future Shock appears on the screen.

Aviva’s Big Chance

After the match, the show heads backstage and finds Sara with none other than the newcomer, Aviva Miller.

Sara: Just a few weeks ago, my guest won her first match in Future Shock. And it wasn’t exactly on a small stage with nothing on the line. No, she became the #1 contender for the Diamond Championship in a triple threat at Global Wars. Congratulations on that, Aviva…or as you’ve been coined on After Shock, Future Shock’s favorite palindrome.

Aviva: Thanks, Sara. And I definitely appreciate the new nickname - leaving aside that I think I’m the only palindrome in Future Shock. I’m still reeling from that Global Wars win. That triple threat was no joke, especially given that both my opponents had some outside help.

Sara: Yeah, but you showed you could weave through all that and got your first win on the roster on a massive event. I know you’d been having more than your share of run-ins with Sapphire and Ashley Chase. I also think you’re right on the palindrome thing too.

She seemed to give it a little thought before getting back to her job.

Sara: The reason I invited you to come chat with me tonight is I now know the precise date where you will be getting your reward: a shot at the Diamond Championship. Before I get to that, were you surprised at all she won, given how long River had been holding it?

Aviva: I’m excited to find out when it is. And I don’t think surprised is really the right word. You had a match between two women who are both insanely talented and fiercely competitive, without any outside interference. Given how long River held the championship I think the odds were on her to retain, but Nadia just happened to be the better woman that night. River will bounce back like she always does, and I’m excited to face Nadia - my match with River will just have to happen somewhere down the line, I guess.

Sara: Your title shot is on the next episode of Future Shock two weeks from tonight. And if that wasn’t big enough, it’ll be the main event when we visit Independence, Missouri for the first time.

Aviva: Awesome. It’ll be my first main event in Future Shock, but definitely not my last. I’m happy that Nadia and I get to showcase the Diamond Championship during our first visit to Independence, Missouri. I’m confident in my ability to walk out of Missouri as the new Diamond Champion, but I know Nadia won’t make it easy. She and I will put on an unforgettable match and no matter which one of us wins, it’s really a privilege for me to even be in this position so early in my Future Shock career. I can’t wait.

Sara: Good luck,, Aviva. When we come back, it’ll be Fiona and Serafina meeting in the ring.

A graphic for the next match pops up before Future Shock goes to a commercial break.

The show returns from the commercial break to once again find the blonde bombshell ring announcer waiting in the ring to begin the next set of introductions.

Lexi: The following contest is scheduled for one fall.

Zack: It’s time for the one my broadcast partner here has been waiting to see since it was announced. I’m sure you’ve tried to fire up Serafina as much as you can. That’s a chore in itself, given her laid back nature.

Claire: Yeah, but that’s what works for Serafina. In a way it’s something to be admired, the fact that she keeps an even keel and doesn’t allow herself to get carried away; the highs are never too high and the lows are never too low. It let’s her stay calm and focused and is part of why she is so deadly.

As “Time To Say Goodbye” starts the video wall comes to life to show Serafina as she exits the locker room dressed in a back hooded sweatshirt with the FFW logo and a couple of other combat clothing manufacturers and energy drink logos on it. Walking through the corridors toward the ring she is accompanied by Jonathan DeCaro. As she moves she bounces on the balls of her feet, shaking out her arms and loosening up a little. Finally she walks out through the curtain and onto the stage area, firing off a combination of kicks, forearms and elbows, finishing off with a 360 roundhouse kick followed by a jumping kick and a jumping splits as she moves down the ramp.

Walking the rest of the distance to the bottom of the ramp, she tops and removes her hooded sweatshirt, leaving her in a tight long sleeved black t-shirt and tight shorts. She gives the taping on her wrists and ankles quickly. Giving her husband a kiss, she takes a tub of petroleum jelly from him and with her fingers applies a streak over each eye and across her cheeks. Finally she walks up the ring steps and steps between the ring ropes and moves along the ropes and back to her corner continuing to stay loose.

Lexi: Introducing in the ring from Encinitas, California via Boston, Massachusetts, at a height of 5’6” and a weight of 127 lbs….SERAFINA DECARO!!!

Zack: Serafina picked up her first win in Future Shock since she returned against one of the Doomsday Sisters. Tonight, her opponent has virtually nothing in common with either of them.

Claire: No she doesn’t, she’s a lot more annoying. A lot more conniving than either of the Doomsday Sisters but we shouldn’t forget that Serafina is as talented as they come and has been highly successful in Future Shock. I’m sure she’ll be able to keep that going tonight.

“Pour it up” by Rihanna begins to play loudly all throughout the arena. As it does we are able to see Fiona walking from the back joined by Kyle Kilmeade. Fiona is holding an umbrella in her hand and she pops it open. As it does, 100 dollar bills begin to flow from the ceiling.

Lexi: Ladies and gentlemen making her way to the ring being accompanied by Kyle Kilmeade weighing in at 130 pounds from Belfast, North Ireland, she is “The Weather Girl” “The self Proclaimed Innovator of Moonsaults” Fiona O’Dalaigh!!

She uses the umbrella to keep them from hitting her. Fiona twirls her umbrella in circles and laughs at the fans booing her as Kyle tells her to ignore them.. She slides into the ring and gives Kyle her umbrella. She pulls down on her booty shorts a bit, spanking on her ass as she waits for the match to start.

Zack: If anyone will test your best friend’s resolve and temper, it’ll be Fiona! Two weeks ago, she burned the face of Gwen Margolis in her debut. There is absolutely nothing she won’t stoop to if she gets her hand raised. She claims she’ll be the next Nova Champion, but she’s got her work cut out for her tonight.

Claire: IF…and that’s the biggest ‘if’ you’ll hear tonight…IF she can manage to overcome Serafina tonight then it will certainly go a long way towards propelling her to that Nova Championship match that she is so very desperately trying to will into existence.

Fiona knelt in the corner as Kyle was whispering a few things in her ear. And it was at that point that Serafina stepped out of the ring before referee Stephen Wilson could call for the bell. The Buddhist walked around the ring, and snatched up the umbrella off the apron left by Fiona and walked it over to the announce booth as Fiona started complaining to the referee. DeCaro handed it to Claire, asking her to keep an eye on it if she didn’t mind.

Claire: Absolutely. My pleasure. Kyle and Fiona can have it back when the show’s over and we’ll keep this a fair contest…or as fair as it’ll ever get with Kilmeade at ringside.

Zack: Serafina isn’t new to the game, she knows what’s what. She saw what happened to Gwen on our last show. Careful where you touch that thing…God knows what it might be rigged to do.

Claire: Don’t worry, I’m gonna put it down here, well out of the way and where it can’t do any harm to anyone.

As Serafina got back into the ring, referee Stephen Wilson called for the bell. And an angry Fiona charged the brunette, only to get caught with a deep armdrag takedown. The redhead popped up, and ran into a second and then a third. Serafina got back to her feet, and ducked a spinning backfist before she whipped O’Dalaigh across for the ride. Fiona rebounded with a clothesline, but the brunette used a Matrix style evasion, allowing her opponent to run past her. O’Dalaigh stopped herself with Serafina bent backwards, but the Buddhist kicked her legs up around Fiona’s head and snapped her down to the canvas with a headscissors takedown. DeCaro sat up into a lotus position on the canvas.

Zack: Wow! Fiona isn’t happy about that umbrella, and Serafina….showing off just how agile and sharp she truly is!

Claire: Fiona’s rage is causing her to make mistakes and against someone as experienced as Serafina; who is as much of a student of the game as the Buddhist, those mistakes are being fully exploited.

Fiona’s anger was bubbling now when she saw the brunette sitting on the mat. She charged towards her with a kick to the chest in mind, but the brunette caught her foot and hopped to her feet to apply an ankle lock submission. That’s when the redhead immediately scrambled on her hands to get to the ropes and demand a break. And Serafina gave her one before the referee even got a two count.

Claire: Fiona really needs to calm down and regain her focus. The more she just rushes headlong towards DeCaro, the more pain she’s going to find herself in.

Zack:

As soon as the former No Surrender Champion released the hold, Fiona rolled out of the ring and went straight to her manager. She was clearly agitated as Kyle tried to calm her down, and whisper some advice in her ear. That seemed to make her smile as Serafina sat herself on the middle rope with her legs crossed on the other side of the ring, awaiting her opponent’s return.

Zack: This has definitely not gone the way that Fiona likely intended. Meanwhile back at the ranch, Serafina’s made herself comfortable and is ready to begin again whenever Fiona is.

Claire: Usually I’d say ‘Fina is making a mistake by letting her opponent take her time on the outside and conference with her manager. But, so far it’s working for her so don’t fix what’s not broken, right?

Wilson got to a six count before Fiona returned to the ring. Serafina got back to her feet, waving her forward before the pair met in the center with a lock–up. Fiona turned out to be a little bit stronger as she pushed the Buddhist backwards a few steps into the ropes. The referee got the break on a four count as Fiona put her hands up…and kicked Serafina into the lower abdomen to stun her. And that’s when she pulled her into a headlock, and started driving her fist into her face repeatedly. A running bulldog put the Buddhist down on the mat, and Fiona hooked her head into a gator roll in multiple directions around the ring. With two handfuls of her opponent’s hair, she pulled her up into a facebuster.

Zack: Fiona finally got her foot in the door of this match. Looks like whatever advice she got was the right kind, and now Serafina is at her mercy. If there is any.

Claire: I don’t think Fiona knows the meaning of the word mercy. But Serafina’s got a lot of gas in the tank.

Fiona rolled her onto her back, and started crashing her leg down across her face a few times. When she finally got back to her feet, she headed for the ropes and used them for a springboard moonsault that landed perfectly. The redhead hooked the outside as the referee dropped for the count and she shouted ‘INNOVATOR OF MOONSAULTS!”

Claire: Yeah, yeah…we get it. You think you invented the move, even if people were using before you were a twinkle in your dad’s eye.

ONE!!!

TW-NO!

The Buddhist kicked out as the two was about to land on the mat. Fiona retaliated for that with closed fists to her face in a rapid manner. She pulled her opponent back to her feet, and shoved her into the nearest corner for a foot choke. O’Dalaigh broke at four.

Zack: Fiona’s really taking it to Serafina now. She almost got caught in that ankle lock earlier, and she’s determined to avoid that at all costs.

Serafina was fired into the far corner with Fiona following after her. But the brunette stopped herself from hit it, and caught Fiona storming in with a discus elbow to the mouth. It staggered the weather girl for a moment, allowing DeCaro to collect herself before shoving Fiona backwards and following up with a running bicycle knee that flattened her to the mat before she made the cover.

Zack: Fiona got her lights dimmed for a moment, and did Serafina ever respond! She might have knocked her goofy…or goofier!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOO!!!

T-NO.

The former weather girl got her shoulder off the mat in time, and Serafina sat up on her knees. She was still trying to get herself together after Fiona’s offense.

Claire: The Buddhist Warrior has extremely educated feet and you saw them in action right there. Though…is it just me or did Fiona’s head make a hollow sound when ‘Fina almost kicked it in the upper tier?

Fiona rolled away from her as Serafina was getting to her feet, but the Buddhist responded with a running kneelift to her ribs as she was trying to get up. DeCaro used a Muay Thai clinch to fire several more knees into her body before she dropped to her knees on the mat. With the fans behind her, Serafina rebounded off the far side with a step-up enzuigiri before going for the cover once again.

Zack: That’s gonna be the knockout shot for Serafina!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

THRE-NO.

The former weather girl got her shoulder up in time once again, and started to roll out of Serafina’s reach to the ropes. Fiona used them to help her get back up, and the Buddhist snatched her in a rear waistlock and tried to suplex her. But O’Dalaigh had the middle rope with both hands gripped around it!

Claire: Fiona’s hanging on for dear life here!! The absolutely last thing she wants to do is go for the ride because if she does, Serafina’s going to make sure it doesn’t stop till she gets the pinfall.

Serafina tried again to no avail before Fiona ducked her head and pulled herself through the ropes. The top rope caught Serafina in the chest, knocking the wind out of her and sending her backwards before Fiona used a bicycle kick to the face to put her down. Kyle praised his client with applause and smiling at what he saw.

Zack: A veteran tactic from Fiona there, smart thinking. We have to keep in mind this woman is no newcomer to this sport. She’s just returned from a long hiatus, and seems to be in as good of a shape as she ever was.

Claire: Kyle’s quickly gotten her back up to speed and made sure there was no ring rust when she stepped back into the ring. She’s gotten an upperhand on one of Future Shock’s most successful alumni.

Fiona got her breath back, and pulled the Buddhist up with her to deliver a flurry of forearms. She scooped her over one shoulder, delivering a snake eyes in the corner. When the brunette stumbled out of that corner, Fiona followed up with a springboard reverse DDT before going for the cover!

Zack: I’m not sure Serafina even knows where she is after that! What an upset this’ll be!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NO!

The brunette got her shoulder off the mat, to the delight of the crowd. Fiona scowled as she got back to her feet, and headed for the corner.

Claire: Not quite!!! Serafina’s as tough as they come and she’s still got a little more left in the tank!

The redhead took her time getting to the top rope as her manager watched from the floor. She shouted once again “INNOVATOR OF MOONSAULTS” before going for her split-legged moonsault!

Zack: She calls that TODAY’S FORECAST!!

The Buddhist rolled out of the way though, and Fiona faceplanted on the mat. Serafina struggled to her feet, and scooped the redhead over her shoulders into her GTS before nailing it and going for the cover.

Claire: That’s the knockout shot!! Goodnight and sweet dreams, Fiona!!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Wilson called for the bell to a pop from the crowd as Serafina got to her feet and had her hand raised in victory.

Zack: Well done, Serafina! Fiona took too long, and got all the mat she wanted!

Lexi: Your winner by pinfall…………………..SERAFINA DeCARO!!

The smile on Serafina’s face was easy to see, even if she was still suffering the effects of the match. She thanked the crowd, and stepped out to the floor to high five Claire as she passed the booth on her way to the back.

Claire: Congratulations to Serafina. Another big win for the Buddhist and she’s really picking up steam don’t you think, Zack?

Fiona was beginning to get herself together now as Kyle stepped into the ring to check on her. But then, a murmuring began.

Claire: I think Kyle might want to break out the smelling salts right now if he wants to bring Fiona back to the here and now.

The murmuring was coming from behind the booth. Both Zack and Claire looked behind them to see Gwen Margolis standing on the barricade to a roar from the crowd. She asked Claire for the umbrella, which she was given before stepping across the table to the floor and heading towards the ring!

Claire: I’m sure she merely wants to return it to its rightful owners. Besides it saves me a job and I’d really rather not get any closer to Fiona O’Dalaigh than I absolutely have to if I can help it. Her mouth might cause me to do something I’d later regret.

Zack: I’m with you on being anywhere within reasonable proximity of her. She’d make the Pontiff curse.

Kyle spotted her first before he tried pulling Fiona towards the ropes to get out of the ring. Gwen aimed the umbrella and examined it for a second before shooting out dozens of sparks just a second too late as Fiona and her manager escaped to the floor. The burn marks were still evident on the blonde’s face, albeit a little healed.

Zack: OH, she was gonna return the favor! Gwen Margolis came to hand out a receipt or two, but Fiona and Kyle scurried away like rats on a sinking ship! I’m glad to see you, Gwen!

Claire: So close. Almost an eye for an eye there…but Kyle and Fiona manage to hustle their way out of her just in time. Unfortunately.

Gwen opened the umbrella and started stomping it flat and ripping it apart before kicking it out of the ring. And with the fans roaring in support of her, the show cut elsewhere inside the Cross Insurance Center.

Inevitability

The scene opens with the figure of a woman wearing a black & white knit tweed sleeveless dress looking at a big screen in a dark room.

Playing on the big screen is footage of the Future Shock Championship match at Global Wars…

~~~~~~~
It was Alessandra who broke the cycle with a kick to Sydney’s stomach before she planted her head between her legs. She wasted zero time in hoisting the champion up and delivering a running turnbuckle powerbomb that landed Sydney’s upper back against the turnbuckle. The champion hung in the corner as Alessandra let out a yell, and got a strong response from the crowd.
Zack: Alessandra’s fired up now, she’s running on nothing but adrenaline at this point! She needs to hit something big quick before it wears off!
Claire: Adrenaline is a great temporary pain killer…but it IS temporary. She’s got to pull everything out of the bag right now and she has to put Sydney down.
Alessandra took off for the far side, and came back with a corner clothesline. She did it twice more before the fourth bounce off the ropes ended with a running European uppercut! Esposito pounded the mat before lifting Sydney onto her shoulders with a muscle buster! The crowd came to its feet again as the challenger hooked the leg for a cover!
Zack: Nothing but adrenaline…and raw power! I think we’re gonna crown a new champion!!
ONE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NO.
Sydney got her shoulder up in time, and Alessandra looked at Stringer in disbelief. She held up three fingers, but only saw two in return before looking back down to Sydney.
Claire: Alessandra can’t believe it. This crowd can’t believe it. But Sydney kicked out - even it was nothing more than pure instinct - and this match continues!! Esposito has to come up with something else if she’s to claim the title!
She rose back to her feet, and made a swirling motion over her head. The fans recognized that as she leaned down to grab Sydney’s feet under both arms.
Zack: This is one of her favorite moves, Claire! But with her back in the shape it is, I’m not sure it’s a good idea.
~~~~~~~

The camera focuses on the eyes of the woman watching the screen as the footage continues to be played….

~~~~~~~
Alessandra was extremely wobbly as she got her feet under her, and Sydney kept the triangle choke applied the entire time.  The fans were louder still…until the challenger gave out and collapsed back to the mat. Stringer lifted her hand three times with no response before she called for the bell. Sydney released the hold and shoved Alessandra off her.
Zack: She tried to power out of it, but there was too much time being stuck in that hold! And Sydney…you tell’em, Lexi!
Lexi: Your winner by submission….AND STIIIIIIIIIIILL FFW Future Shock Champion…..SYDNEY CHRISTENSEN!!!
The Canadian blonde slowly got back to her feet, and had her hand raised by the referee before the Future Shock Championship was returned to her.
Claire: Incredible fight from Alessandra to try and reclaim the Future Shock Championship but when you get trapped in a triangle choke applied as tightly and as expertly as Sydney had it locked in, every single second counts and the clock just ran out for the challenger tonight!
Sydney grimaced in pain as she lifted the Future Shock Championship over her head, thanks to all the work Alessandra had done on her shoulders. But the blonde held it up anyway before looking back down to Alessandra with a nod of her head.
Zack: Sydney Christensen couldn’t pin her, so she choked her out! And the Future Shock Championship will be on a plane home to Calgary in the morning. Alessandra gave a heroic performance, but Sydney proved to be indomitable tonight at Global Wars….
~~~~~~~

The camera now reveals the woman who is watching this footage unfold. It’s Jacqui Minogue. With her hair tied to a ponytail, she stands there looking stoic as she continues to watch the screen. While she is doing this, her voice provides the commentary.

Jacqui (VO): Unstoppable. FFW’s biggest event of the year. The one place every woman who sets foot in FFW wants to be a part of. Because this is the place that, along with the pageantry and nostalgia that it celebrates, this epic event defines you as a professional wrestler. Moments are made, legends are born, and accomplishments are etched forever. And once again, Future Shock has been granted an invitation.

You Sydney Christensen, have been given an invitation to defend the Future Shock Championship there. You made it no secret that you cherish this moment. For you worked so hard to get to this point. And as champion, you’ve more than proved why you should be the one to represent Future Shock in this huge event….but there is no guarantee you’re going to be there.

~~~~~~~
On the screen, the following footage from Future Shock’s Sydney Supershow is played…
Cait headed towards Alessandra, planting her head between her legs into position for her finisher.  The fans got louder still for the champion, especially after she countered it with a back body drop. The brunette stumbled forward, taking in deep breaths as she leaned against the ropes. Her face went from breathless to angry before she turned back around. Cait started to sit up when Alessandra grabbed her feet under both arms. The fans popped as they knew what was next, and thus began the giant swing. Four swings were counted off so far.
Zack: We’ve seen Alessandra use this a lot of late, and tonight will be no different! Around and around Cait goes, where she stops….only Alessandra knows.
Claire: Cait needed to keep the powerhouse on her back. She’s not managed to do that and she’s paying the price as she goes around and around and around.
The fans were counting the revolutions as Cait continued to swing around in a circle repeatedly. Alessandra showed no signs of stopping either as they reached eleven to this point...and kept going.
Claire: And around and around and around! How much is this going to take out of Alessandra after all those blows to the head though?
The spinning continued until Alessandra got to 19, and let Cait go. The redhead hit the mat, and rolled right out of the ring to the floor. The champion dropped to a knee to get her bearings and collect herself.
Zack: That giant swing plays havoc with the equilibrium of both people involved, and Cait...well she went right out of the ring. The floor is not where Alessandra wants her.
Claire: No...but it does give Alessandra a chance to recover which is a small mercy for her. That and the fact Cait can’t win the title either while she’s out on the floor.
Alessandra finally got her wind back, and headed for the side of the ring Cait rolled out on. But she wasn’t there. The champion went to the next side of the ring, still not finding her. Another side, still no Cait. Meanwhile, the referee was counting very slowly and was only up to four at this point.
Zack: Is Cait hiding under the ring or something? She’s not gonna win the title there, and the referee is giving a very deliberate count. But if I’m Alessandra, I sure as hell wouldn’t go out after her. You saw how things went with Jacqui on the floor with Cait.
Claire: You’re right Zack. Cait is a very slippery, very cunning, very devious character in her own right. You throw in Kyle to the mix and well...this has got all the hallmarks of a trap being laid for the Champion.
Alessandra checked the fourth side of the ring as the redhead scampered out on the side behind her. The fans tried to warn the champion as she hit the ring and darted towards Alessandra a little awkwardly before Alessandra caught her coming with a kick to the gut. It nearly dropped the woman to her knees before Esposito scooped her up onto her shoulders and delivered a F5 that bounced her off the mat! Stringer slid into position to make the count.
Zack: That’s the move! Good Lord, she bounced off the mat like a rubber ball!
ONE!!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NO.
The referee stopped counting just as the three was coming down, and the champion looked over at her with confusion. Stringer pointed to the redhead’s face….and it wasn’t Cait’s. Alessandra noticed it too, and quickly got to her feet.
~~~~~~~

While this montage is playing, Jacqui’s voice continues to speak….

Jacqui (VO): Allessandra (Esposito) & Cait (Flanagan) I can understand why you should be in the conversation to be featured at Unstoppable, much less being part of the Future Shock Championship match. You’re both former champions craving to have the title back in your possession and it’s obvious that you have unfinished business with each other.…. but there is no guarantee you two are going to be there either.

~~~~~~~
The camera focuses on Jacqui as she looks directly at it, capturing her beauty as she sports a commanding tone.
There’s only one guarantee as to who will be there for Unstoppable, ladies. The woman who earned her shot after winning this year’s Global Wars and has competed with every single one of you….
She then pulls out three photographs to examine it for a moment and then shows to the camera…a Future Shock promotional picture of Sydney, Allessandra, & Cait.
Jacqui: The question that you three ladies should be asking yourselves is this: not who will be going to Unstoppable to defend the Future Shock Championship against me, but who will walk into Unstoppable and face the inevitable…
Jacqui then pulls out a lighter, which she uses to set the pictures on fire, and then drops the picture as she returns her focus to the camera.
Jacqui : ….the inevitability of your Unstoppable dreams being scorched Earth, courtesy of a “Perfect Storm.”
The next image shown is the picture of Sydney, Allessandra, and Cait on the floor, continuing to burn until the flames eventually were extinguished under Jacqui’s black leather over-the-knee boots as she steps on the pictures, grinding them like cigarettes before turning to walk away from it. The shot transitions to one showing the figure of Jacqui walking towards a brightly lit doorway. Just then, the camera fades to white and, within seconds, reveals the match graphic for the Unstoppable 13 PPV, which has Jacqui positioned on the right and the three ladies on the left, with the Future Shock Championship belt positioned between them before eventually fading to black.
The Road to Unstoppable
A white house with blue trim around the windows is shown next with a sign that reads “Hitsville, USA” on it. 2648 Grand Blvd. W is shown on the mailbox before we hear the voice of River Campbell.
River: Hitsville, USA. Also known as the Motown Museum here in Detroit, Michigan. It was founded in 1985 by Esther Gordy, the sister of Berry Gordy. Who was he? He just happened to be the founder of Motown. Which is responsible for stars like Marvin Gaye, the Supremes, Diana Ross, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder and the Jackson 5. And SO many others!
River grinned.
River: Surprising right? It looks just like any home on any street in any city in the USA…well except for the giant Hitsville sign. But from here an empire was run. An empire of Hall of Fame musicians known the world over. An empire that produced hit after hit after hit after hit - songs that I promise you, you will know and love and probably whistle too at work. It was from here that we got some of the most loved music in all of human history.
The shot changes inside the building, and we see a preserved studio as lyrics from a famous song by Gladys Knight and the Pips plays.
I heard it through the grapevine
Not much longer would you be mine
Oh (baby, baby), I heard it through the grapevine
River: It’s music that makes you dance. That evokes and expresses the human condition; capturing it perfectly in a three minute spell of magic. Capable of running the gamut of human emotion. Evoking the most vivid of memories; these are songs that soundtrack our entire lives from cradle to the grave.
The final shot inside the museum shows the legendary Jackson 5 performing as “I Want You Back” can be heard.
Oh darlin', I was blind to let you go
(Let you go, baby)
But now since I see you in his arms
(I want you back)
Yes, I do now
(I want you back)
Ooh ooh, baby
(I want you back)
River: What came from within these worlds…it’s inspired artists the world over. You can see and feel its fingerprints on art. On literature. On film and TV. On music - of all genres. From pop and rock to dance and rap. It still pervades pop culture in all its facets today.
The musician paused for a moment, slowly nodding her head.
River: In two months time, July 30th, something else…just as big. Just as inspirational. Just as motivational. Just as iconic will also be coming from Detroit. Available on FFW All Access for $9.99. Live from Ford Field. It’ll be an event bigger than the Super Bowl - the biggest event not of the year but the BIGGEST EVENT IN WRESTLING. The show of shows. One night only…. An unmissable, undeniable, spectacular. A night of dreams…a night where history will be made. UNSTOPPABLE 13!!
A quick flash of Ford Field is seen with a roaring crowd before the show heads to a commercial break.
Future Shock returns from the commercial break, where Lexi is once more stood in the center of the ring to begin the introductions.
Zack: Main event time, and that was our last break of tonight’s show. And we’re about to potentially see one of Future Shock’s biggest egos get deflated in a matter of moments, at least in my view.
Claire: It could definitely happen. For as talented as Ashley is and for all the veteran instincts that she has, Arabella is equally talented and has the strength, heart, determination and probably the simmering anger to cause the Forever Champion a Hell of a lot of problems tonight.
"Dangerous Woman" by Ariana Grande begins to play as two ladies in evening dresses walk out to the top of the rampway and unroll a red carpet. A golden spotlight shines on the stage
Don't need permission
Made my decision to test my limits
Cause it's my business, God as my witness
Start what I finished
AMC rises up from under the floor wearing a beautiful Golden flowing robe with her arms outstretched. Her manager Kyle Kilmeade walks out from the back and stands behind her applauding. AMC steps forward a few feet and stops at the top of the ramp and slowly spins in a circle as Kyle applauds his client some more.
Don't need no hold up
Taking control of this kind of moment
I'm locked and loaded
Completely focused, my mind is open
Lexi: Coming down the aisle accompanied by Kyle Kilmeade and hailing from Beverly Hills, CA.   She is the FOREVER CHAMPION AND “THE GOLD STANDARD” OF PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING!!!!!!  ASHLEY MARIE CHASE otherwise known as  A…. M…. C!!!!!!!!!!
All that you got, skin to skin, oh my God
Don't ya stop, boy
Somethin' 'bout you makes me feel like a dangerous woman
Somethin' 'bout, somethin' 'bout, somethin' 'bout you
Makes me wanna do things that I shouldn't
AMC slowly makes her way down the aisle and upon reaching the ring she walks up the steps, taking a moment to wipe her feet on the apron and removes her robe revealing her SVW Aggression Championship as Kyle gets on the apron and holds the ropes open.  AMC Slowly bends over to get in the ring and shakes her ass giving Kyle a great view causing him to smirk. Once in the ring Kyle removes her championship and kisses her hand causing loud boos from the crowd. AMC then climbs the ropes and raises her title in the air to louder boos.
Zack: Ashley has yet to be pinned or tapped out in Future Shock, and we were reminded last time that she still wants to hold the Diamond Championship, now in the possession of Nadia Beaulieu. She has only two possible advantages tonight that I see. Experience due to being in the sport longer…and cunning, because there’s not a low road she won’t take.
Claire: You’re right and we saw that at Global Wars in the Triple Threat match where she was more than happy to let Aviva and Sapphire try and take each other out and swoop in to try to steal victory. Arabella is going to have to be wary and is going to have to minimise mistakes to win here.
The sounds of "Rebel Yell" by Billy Idol begin to play as purple strobe lights flash on the darkened stage. A woman starts to rise up from under the stage with her back to the crowd before looking over her shoulder with a smile.
Last night a little dancer, came dancin' to my door
Last night a little angel, came pumping on my floor
She said come on baby, you got a license for love
The fans give her a very warm response as she bounces down the stage to the music, greeting several fans along ringside and even taking selfies with a couple before rolling under the bottom rope. She shucks off her ring jacket as the lights come up.
Lexi: Introducing from London, England....please welcome....ARABELLA TOWNSHEND!!
Arabella gives Lexi a little hip bump as she passes her, and climbs up onto the turnbuckle to rally the fans as her music fades out.
Zack: One of Future Shock’s most popular women, and also one of its most tenured on this roster. If I’m starting my own roster, Arabella’s one of my first draft picks. I think if Ashley doesn’t take Arabella seriously, this is gonna be a short night for the “Forever Champion.”
Claire: Arabella has all the tools in the locker to beat anyone in this business and she’s very quickly learning how to use them all to best effect for her and for the way that she wrestles. I certainly wouldn’t look past her or start planning for anything down the line if I see her stood opposite me; my full attention would be on her and what I have to do to beat her.
Referee Kevin Fisk called for the bell to start the match after Lexi had left the ring. It took no time at all before the crowd was already showing their support for Arabella, which brought a wide smile to her face. Chase looked put out, complaining to her manager that the crowd was getting on her nerves. Since there wasn’t anything Kyle could do about it, the “Forever Champion” headed to the center of the ring and raised one hand in the air, challenging Arabella to a test of strength to start the match.
Claire: Well, this is certainly one way for Ashley to start a match. Surely she’s gotta have something up her sleeve here. Or this is just going to go badly. And surely Arabella has to know that she’s probably got something up her sleeve.
Zack: I’m not sure, but we’re gonna find out shortly, I think. And did I hear Lexi now introduce Chase as…”The Gold Standard” on her entrance?
Arabella looked amused at the idea, and met Ashley in the center of the ring. Chase kept her hand up, telling her she was gonna be throwing her around the ring all night. Townshend shook her head, and reached up her hand….but it was a few inches above Ashley’s, due to the height difference. Chase tried to reach it by standing on her toes before Arabella brought her own hand down, and locked hands. Ashley raised her other hand next.
Zack: It’s never a good sign in a test of strength when your opponent has a few inches on you in height. That makes it a whole lot harder, which Ashley may be about to learn. I also don’t think she’s gonna throw her around tonight, like we overheard.
Claire: I guess Chase has the lower center of gravity. Maybe she can use this situation to her advantage in that way if she doesn’t get shoved all the way around the ring by Townshend first.
Arabella started to raise her other hand just as Ashley’s true idea came into play. Chase went to kick her in the stomach, but Arabella grabbed her foot with the free hand. She yanked the socialite forward into a leg hook Saito suplex that deposited Chase hard onto the mat. The undefeated brunette got to her feet a half second before Arabella charged her into the corner back first with a running shoulder tackle. She stayed bent over, and started driving thrusts into Ashley’s body, lifting her feet off the mat each time before finishing off the flurry with a palm thrust to the neck!
Claire: Arabella saw that coming a mile off and from that she’s gotten an early advantage and is dominating the Forever Champion!!
Zack: Look at those shoulder blocks in the corner lifting Ashley off her feet with each shot. Arabella made clear what she was looking to do on After Shock, and she’s doing a helluva job so far!
Townshend grabbed her arm, and whipped Ashley into the far corner. Again, her back hit the turnbuckles at high speed before the Brit headed towards her. She pointed to another corner, and whipped Ashley into that one, causing her to stumble out with a hand against her before Townshend scooped her up for a spinebuster! The fans were eating it up as Arabella got back to her feet, and scooped her legs up into a gorilla clutch, causing Ashley’s back to be bent into almost an L as she scrambled to try to find the nearest set of ropes.
Claire: Arabella is focusing in on her opponent’s spine and is doing a real number on it here. That’ll slow Chase down a great deal and most anything she tries to do will make her ache.
Zack: Ashley’s getting her clock cleaned, and no one is more deserving. Arabella has gone to another level since Global Wars, and she’s using her strength perfectly.
Ashley located the ropes, and scrambled on her hands to get to them. Arabella let go of the hold, but grabbed her feet to try to pull her free of the ropes. Chase managed to keep her grip for a couple pulls, but a much stronger yank from the former Nova Champion jerked her free and sent her face down on the mat. Townshend pulled her to her feet, and whipped her into the ropes for a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker across her knee to the mat.
Zack: This may not last long, Claire. Arabella hasn’t left her feet once, and has been all offense from the bell. That undefeated streak…I think it ends tonight!
Claire: It certainly looks like Arabella is closing in on victory here and on posting a shut out to boot. Ashley might be regretting some of her choices right about now.
The Brit gave the sign for her finisher next as she pulled Ashley’s head between her legs to set up for her powerbomb. As she tried to grab her around the waist, Chase swept her legs out from under her and then fell backwards to catapult the former tag champion. Townshend landed abdomen first across the top turnbuckle. It sent her stumbling backwards holding her stomach before Chase used the ropes for a disaster kick to the jaw. Arabella fell to the mat just before Ashley went for the cover!
Zack: Chase with two good offensive moves, and already planning to put Arabella away!
ONE!!!
T-NO.
The pin ended when Arabella sat up. Ashley’s eyes widened at that, and started throwing right hands from her knees, pasting the pale Brit with forearms and an elbow to the top of her head to put her back down again.
Claire: That’s a message to Ashley that this match is a long way from being over. A good disaster kick, but nowhere near enough to rattle the Shaolin Belle for a three count.
Ashley moved around behind her, pulling her to sit up again before grabbing both of her arms to apply a straitjacket submission. She used Arabella’s arms to choke her out as she pressed a knee into her spine. The brunette demanded that Fisk ring the bell, but he obviously didn’t because Arabella had shown no signs of wanting the match to end. That caused Ashley to cinch the hold tighter.
Zack: Now she may be onto something here. Arabella has to breathe like everyone else, and Ashley’s using those long arms like a boa constrictor. Telling the referee to ring the bell rarely works.
Claire: The knee planted in her back too really doesn’t give Arabella much room for maneuver to try and get a breath either and Chase can, to some extent lean back and use her body weight too - make this hold even more difficult to escape.
Fisk checked with Townshend, not getting any sign she wanted to quit despite Ashley telling him to call for the bell. Meanwhile as she did that, Arabella began sliding down a little and managed to swing her leg over the bottom rope. Fisk spotted it, and demanded a break. He got to four with Chase still applying pressure….until he raised his hand to call for the bell. Then she released it, and got back to her feet. She antagonized the crowd then, asking them if this was all Future Shock had to offer.
Zack: She gets in a few good moves, and really lets it go to her head, doesn’t she? You haven’t won yet….
Claire: The Forever Champion might live to regret allowing Arabella this time to catch her breath too.
Townshend was starting to get back to her feet behind Chase, causing the crowd to come to life. Ashley spun around, and dropped her with a running neckbreaker. She dropped to her knees, and scrubbed her face against the mat before then dragging it across the laces of her boot. Chase took off for the near side, and came back with a fameasser before going for the cover.
Zack: Looks like she’s trying to disfigure Arabella, and there’s a cover!
ONE!!!
TWOOO!!
Townshend kicked out after the two count, and Ashley demanded Fisk to get to three. The referee was disinclined to do that, and reminded her it was just a two count before she headed for the nearest corner.
Claire: Ashley might be an experienced veteran but I promise her that Fisk has refereed a whole Hell of a lot more matches. There’s no way in Hell that she’ll win an argument with him so she might as well not waste the energy.
The last Aggression Champion made it to the top rope, and perched herself before shouting at Arabella to get up. The Brit stayed on the mat a little bit before sitting up, and getting back to her feet. And just as she turned to the corner, Chase went for her high cross body off the top rope! And ….got caught! Ashley’s eyes widened as Arabella caught her in both arms, and locked eyes with her before swinging her into the mat with uranage slam.
Zack: Oh my…she caught her! That’s one of Ashley’s favorite moves, and Arabella caught her….snatched her out of mid air!
Claire: Then she damn near moved the ring with the force of the slam!!! AMC is going to be feeling that one tomorrow and Arabella has herself the upper hand once more!
Chase clutched her back on the canvas as Arabella watched her for a moment, and pulled her back to her feet. She scooped her up for an inverted atomic drop before grabbing her arm. Townshend told her this was for her boyfriend before yanking her forward into a bull hammer elbow that flattened the Forever Champion to the mat!
Zack: Arabella may have been watching some of my wife’s matches! What an elbow!
Claire: She’s not letting up at all. Everything is getting laid in stiff and with an awful lot of malicious intent. It’s a good thing we’ve got some of the best trainers in the business backstage.
She was about to go for the cover when Francesca Garcia emerged onto the stage. She was holding a flat gift-wrapped box in her arms as she cautiously headed to the ring. Arabella spotted her just as she was about to drop for a pin, but rose back up immediately.
Claire: The Latina Heat have some form of sense of timing don’t they? I’d say Arabella should just focus on her opponent but that’s easier said then done when you’ve got a kleptomaniac on her way to ring.
Zack: I’m guessing her partner is somewhere in the back entombed in ice after the match she had with Ashley Whitmore earlier. What’s with the box though?
Francesca made it to the ring, clutching the gift box in her hands. She looked up to Arabella, and told her it was a peacemaking gift, something to help put all the bad blood behind them. Arabella obviously looked suspicious as Frani very gently laid the box in a neutral corner. She smiled up to her former adversary, and turned around to return to the back.
Claire: I wouldn’t open that for all the tea in China. I wouldn’t want to be found guilty of handling stolen goods - especially not on national TV.
Zack: I’m with you, but I’m kinda curious what’s in it. Looks like Arabella is itoo.
The Brit looked down at it just as Ashley stormed up behind her, and quickly pulled her into a full nelson facebuster before going for the cover!
Zack: Ashley had time to recover…and that might be the knockout shot!!
ONE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NO.
Arabella kicked out before the three touched the mat, and Ashley pounded the mat with her fist in aggravation. She pulled Arabella to her feet, and whipped her into the far side for a running European uppercut to put her back down on the rebound.
Claire: Ashley should be sending the Latina Heat a mini muffin basket after she almost stole it right there!! As it is, she’s in control thanks to Francesca’s intervention.
Ashley glanced over to the box, and then headed to the corner closest to her. Making her way up, she quickly landed a top rope elbow drop to Townshend’s chest before making another cover.
Zack: Ashley has a sense of urgency here, and who can blame her?!
ONE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NO.
Once again, Arabella kicked out and the frustration was rising with Chase. She almost threw a tantrum on her knees before getting up to her feet, pacing and fuming that she hadn’t won yet.
Claire: Chase absolutely has to stay on top of her opponent. She has to keep up that sense of urgency because if she lets her guard drop for a moment, Townshend - as we’ve seen - will make her pay for it.
The socialite dragged Arabella to her feet, and shoved her into the corner.  She teed off with some right hands to the jaw, a trio of chops to her chest. She even slapped her across the face before turning around to tell the crowd to shut up. But the slap seemed to revitalize Arabella, who now was standing up straight with a cold stare in her eyes into the back of Ashley’s head.
Claire: Now, just, why would you do that Zack? Why would you slap your opponent? Nine times out ten it ALWAYS end badly.
Zack: That’s a thousand yard stare if I ever saw one from Arabella! Ashley…what have you done?!
Chase turned back around as Arabella grabbed her by the throat with both hands, and lifted her off her feet. The Brit held her high off the mat as she walked her out of the corner, a look of incensement on her face. The Brit launched her back against the corner before firing off a roundhouse kick that sent her over the top rope to the floor.
Zack: What a roundhouse kick! It sent her from the ring over the top rope to the floor! That was a mistake, Ashley. A huge mistake!
Claire: I don’t think I’ve ever seen a kick land with such impact that it sends someone clear over the top rope like that!!! I bet Chase couldn’t ever tell you what day of the week it is right now!
Arabella stepped through the ropes to go out after her, but Ashley was face down on the floor, barely moving. The Brit looked from Ashley and gave the sign for her finisher before patting the apron.
Zack: She’s going for that spinning powerbomb…and she’s aiming for the apron! We may never see Chase again if she does this!
Claire: This…this could snap her spine!! Arabella’s been putting a little extra into everything she’s done tonight. We already know the type of impact she’s capable of with this powerbomb and the apron is the hardest part of the ring.
The referee was giving a very deliberate count in the ring as he demanded they get back inside it. Arabella pulled a limp Chase up, planting her head between her legs. When she grabbed her around the waist, that’s when Kyle threw the contents of a bottle of water in her face. The Brit let go, and turned her entire attention to the manager.
Zack: The count’s still going, Fisk is trying to give them a lot of leeway. And Kyle….you got her attention. Now what?
Claire: We know what normally happens in situations like this. Usually Abigail Lindsay turns up to act as bodyguard and bail him out.
Kilmeade started backing up quickly as Arabella took in a deep breath. Townshend only two steps towards him when the bell sounded. She glanced up to the ring to see Ashley was back inside, having beat the count. Fisk raised her hand as she was slumped against the ropes.
Claire: Ashley managed to beat the count and her undefeated streak continues though she certainly doesn’t look much like a winner does she?
Lexi: Your winner by countout……………….ASHLEY MARIE CHASE!!
Kyle raced around the ring to his client, pulling her out of the ring as Arabella climbed back inside to confirm it with the referee.
Zack: Kyle’s getting Ashley the hell out of here, because the life he saves may be his own. There’s no question Arabella had this match, in my mind.
Claire: Absolutely and we both know that Arabella is more than capable of holding a grudge with the best of them. Both him and Ashley might want to give her a wide berth till she’s gotten a chance to take her frustrations out on the Latina Heat!
Arabella headed towards the ropes to leave the ring when she spotted the gift wrapped box still laying in the corner. That stopped her as she stared at it, and finally headed over towards it to scoop it off the canvas.
Zack: I almost forgot about that box in the corner. I don’t know about you, but I think I’d just leave it. I doubt anything in it is going to make peace, like Francesca said.
Claire: Yeah, I don’t think they have the best track record when it comes to getting gifts for people within the wrestling industry. Also, they don’t strike me as necessarily the most sorrowful and apologetic duo.
She stared at it for a moment, and then held her ear against it to see if she heard anything. She looked to the crowd next.
Zack: Listening for a timer, I bet. I wouldn’t put it past them.
Claire: Nope, neither would I. Who really knows what they’re capable of?
She pulled the ribbon off, and let it drop to the floor. Townshend barely pulled the lid up to see what was inside, but didn’t notice anything till she finally opened it. It was a picture of Francesca in a black bikini with the words “XOXO, Happy birthday, Jake! Call me. Number’s on the back.”
Zack: ……………..Oh my.
Claire: You think we’d be safe if we take cover underneath the desk? We might have thirty seconds maybe before she goes nuclear.
The camera panned up to see Arabella’s face darkening. Her lips pursed tightly as the box shook in her hand before Future Shock went off the air.
