Live from the Oceanfront Arena in Wildwood, New Jersey
June 21, 2022

The limousine pulls up outside of a bank somewhere in Boston before the driver opens the door to let Cait Flanagan and Kyle Kilmeade out. She takes his arm, and heads inside and is immediately escorted to a vault filled with stacks of money. But she notices one pedestal set aside for the title she wants most. “Legendary” by Skillet begins to play as someone dashes past the camera, and the pair look out to see whoever it is with the Future Shock Championship.

My heart bleeds adrenaline
The fire I breathe is where I live

It turns out to be Charlotte Harker, who darts out of the bank and around a corner at top speed with it in her hands. She doesn’t get far before Shaw trips her up, and takes the title away from her with a shake of her head. As she’s looking down at her former tag partner with annoyance, the title gets lifted out of her hand before the woman holding it ducks into a parked car and starts it up. The driver is Jacqui Minogue.

Top, to the top
Ain't never gonna stop
To the top, to the top
Ain't never gonna stop

Jacqui speeds through the streets of Boston till she runs into a familiar woman holding up traffic by standing in the middle of the crosswalk. Jacqui looks closer, and sees it’s Shaughnessy O’Neill who makes a beeline for her car. Minogue locks the doors and rolls up the window before someone else rises up from the backseat...that being Alessandra Esposito. She snatches the title out of the passenger seat, and bolts from the car onto the crowded sidewalks. She only gets so far before she’s spotted. Cait, Jacqui, and Shaw close in on her before a car honks to get her attention. She hops into the Italian sports car, leaving her pursuers in the dust..

Never gonna keep me down (never keep me)
Still the one that's standing now (never falling)
Destiny is calling me
Go down in history
Every day I'll fight to be
Legendary

Watching out the window of one of the nearby buildings at the plight of the would-be champions is a very amused Angelina and Arabella before the show cuts live inside the Oceanfront Arena. The fans roar as the show goes live, and sparklers shoot around the stage all the way down the ramp until another burst shoots from the ring posts. The camera shows the Future Shock logo on the ring mat before cutting to Zack and Claire at ringside.

Zack: Practically on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean, Future Shock is live tonight from the Oceanfront Arena in Wildwood, New Jersey for the first time ever. And tonight’s show very well may have major championship implications. I’m Zack Hudson, and this is the knockout artist herself, Claire Black. We are just 2 weeks away, Claire, from FFW vs. Future Shock on All Access.

Claire: It’s a huge, huge night here in New Jersey as we look to build momentum towards the massive FFW All Access event in just two weeks time. Future Shock’s best and brightest get the chance to test themselves against the best the FFW main roster have to offer.

Zack: Two matches on tonight’s card could mean future title matches. Our main event will feature Target Acquired taking on the Shaolin Belles in a non-title match. These two teams have never met in the ring until tonight, and that’s a pick’em, if you ask me.

Claire: Two of Future Shock’s best tag teams meet head on and we could see the Belles rocket themselves to the top of the rankings and straight to the head of a line. They’ve got their work cut out for them in the shape of one of the most decorated teams in the company.

Zack: We’ll see a #1 contender match for Angelina’s Nova Championship. Madyson Stone has a major opportunity against the obnoxious weather girl, Fiona O’Dalaigh. And Fiona came into Future Shock saying she was going to be the next Nova Champion. Talk about put up or shut up time.

Claire: Fiona’s going to have her work cut out for against a former Anarchy Champion. Madyson is as tough as they come but she is going to have to avoid that wicked umbrella, while dealing with all the tricks that Fiona usually brings to the ring with her.

Zack: The “Huntress” Ruby Tyler is back in the ring, and she’s been on one hell of a roll since arriving in Future Shock. She’ll meet Sapphire from the Gemstones one on one. Who do you like here? Will it come down to veteran wiles or youthful indiscretion?

Claire: I think Sapphire has her work cut out for her tonight and I wouldn’t like to be in Emerald’s shoes tonight. Ruby’s not going to take any shenanigans from any of the Gemstones tonight and her experience and her skills in the ring could prove to be a little too much for Sapphire in the long run.

Zack: We’ll hear from the reigning Pure Champion tonight as well. Missy, in a recent interview, seemed to be of the mind that she was living rent free in Shaw’s head ever since she signed the contract for 2 weeks from tonight. We’ll get the opposing view from the champ here in Wildwood.

Claire: You know that we’ll never see anything but an awful lot of confidence from O’Neill and in fairness to her, she’s proven that confidence is well founded. However, Missy, could do something no-one has done to Shaw - beat her twice with a title belt on the line.

Zack: I’ve also been informed that we’ll hear from the “Million Dollar Baby” Cait Flanagan as well. She’s still carrying that faux Future Shock Championship. And from what I’m told, she’s got an ultimatum to lay down to Future Shock management. I’m curious what that is.

Claire: I’m not sure that Adam is likely ever going to react well to receiving an ultimatum. Cait might want to tread a little carefully and remember you catch more flies with honey.

Zack: It’s bound to be a full night tonight, so let’s send it up to our blonde bombshell ring announcer to get things rolling.

This week, Lexi is decked out in a short tight blue dress and earning some appreciation from the crowd before she begins the introductions.

Lexi: The opening contest of Future Shock is scheduled for one fall to a finish with a twenty minute time limit!

The loud strumming of a guitar could be heard across the Pa system. As it does we can see the silhouette of a woman on the tron strumming at a guitar. The woman tosses the guitar to the side and as she does she slowly emerges from behind the curtain. Sapphire smiles as she is in a blue glittery attire. She isn’t around as she is with best friend Emerald McAdams. The blue make their way down the ramp to the loud ovation of boos.

Lexi: Making her way to the ring being accompanied by Emerald McAdams, she is “The Shining Star” Sapphire Taylor!!!

Sapphire stops as she takes it all in. She cracks a very wicked grin before she sprints into the ring. She quickly makes her way to her feet where she does a backflip. The crowd just boos loudly as she does. She ignores them as Emerald tells them to be quiet. Sapphire smiles before bouncing about and waiting for things to get underway.

Zack: I know experience isn’t always the deciding factor in a match, but it’s hard not to point out that Sapphire is giving up LOADS of it against the woman she’s about to face. And I think that could work heavily against her.

Claire: In some ways it can be a double edged sword. There’s less tape to watch of Sapphire and always the opportunity that she could pull a surprise; something that she’s not before and which could be the difference. And on top of that, she’s got plenty of material on her opponent to scout and try to find a weakness.

The lights dim just before “Heavy” by The Glorious Sons starts playing throughout the arena.

Come heavy or don't come at all,
You leave your piece at home that's your call,
It never paid to be merciful,
Come heavy or don't come at all

The lights come up as the music rises and Ruby Tyler bursts through the curtain, running down the ramp and high-fiving fans along the way.

Come heavy or don't come at all,
Been here before and watched a better man fall
I smell the fear on you boy
Come heavy or don't come at all

Lexi: From Barstow, California, weighing in at one hundred forty pounds, she is the Huntress, RUBY! TYLER!

Tossing her jacket aside, Ruby turns to face the crowd and pumps her fist in the air before sliding underneath the bottom rope, grinning as she heads to her corner and climbs the turnbuckle, her head bobbing as the chorus plays out. Once the music fades, she hops down and turns, waiting for the bell

Zack: You have to admit Ruby has done very well for herself since arriving in Future Shock. She’s taken on opponents both her size and a fair bit bigger, and managed to come out with her hand raised. Do you think that’s crossed the mind of Sapphire, or is she just assured she’s going to plow through anyone?

Claire: I think it’s something Sapphire has to put out of her mind. For as impressive as Ruby has been, Sapphire has to believe that she can offer up something different to the opponents Tyler has faced and can pick up the win. Though that’s so much easier to say than it is to actually do.

As referee Stephen Wilson was checking for hidden objects, he was soon interrupted. “Start Me Up” by the Rolling Stones begins to play as Charlotte Harker comes out of the back and bounces on the balls of her feet, taking a moment or two to soak in the atmosphere of the crowd while taking a couple of deep breaths. As the crowd booed her loudly, she shook her head and rolled her eyes, throwing her hands into the air anyway to incite more jeers from the crowd.

Zack: Well hang on a minute!

Claire: Looks like we’ve got a little more company and Ruby can safely say that she’s gotten what she wanted.

With the Anarchy Championship over her shoulder, Charlotte strolled down to the ring and looked over to the booth and then shook her head. Instead she snatched a chair out from under the ring and made a seat for herself on the opposite side of the ring. She got both Ruby and Sapphire’s attention quickly.

Zack: I guess Charlotte didn’t have a lot to say, and she’s out here to see up close and personal what a familiar foe like Ruby has up her sleeve. Let’s just keep our fingers crossed that it’s only watching that’s on her mind.

Claire: Harker has long been the strong, silent type, happier to let her actions speak louder than her words. If she does have more than just watching on her mind, then security might want to start massing because the Moose is hard to hold back.

Referee Stephen Wilson cast a gaze towards the Anarchy Champion with a curious look as well. When she took a seat, he finally called for the bell to start the match. Sapphire seemed more distracted and unnerved by Charlotte than Ruby, who had a smirk on her face as she moved towards that side of the ring where the champion was sitting.

Zack: Well Ruby looks happy to see Charlotte, Sapphire not so much. The champion is–

Zack cuts himself off when Sapphire uses the momentary distraction to attack Ruby immediately. She caught her with a running shoulder tackle that sent her backwards into the corner before laying in a bevy of knees to her body. Two handfuls of hair sent Tyler hurtling out to the mat before Taylor hit the near side with a running kneelift followed by a cover.

Zack: Sapphire’s gonna take advantage! This may be a little premature, Claire!

ONE!!

As soon as the one hit, Ruby shoved Sapphire off the cover and nearly sent her rolling into the ropes before she stopped herself. The veteran sat up as Emerald told her client to stay on her, which Sapphire did by immediately applying a rear chinlock.

Claire: I think that might be the first time Emerald has ever given her client good advice. Sapphire has the advantage and she needs to keep it against a woman as experienced and dangerous as The Huntress.

Ruby didn’t stay down long though, and ended up in a standing side headlock from Sapphire. She tried to shove her off, but Sapphire grabbed another handful of hair and pulled her back into the hold a second time. A third time, she tried to shove her off but Taylor had too good of a grip then. Ruby finally broke it when she scooped the newcomer up into a back suplex, freeing herself from the hold and getting back to her feet. Taylor made it back to her feet a half second later, and caught the veteran coming forward with a discus punch to the jaw. That rattled Ruby for a second before Sapphire tossed her through the ropes to the floor at Charlotte’s feet. Taylor told the Anarchy Champion to have fun….but Charlotte remained seated.

Zack: You think the new strategy for Sapphire now is to let Charlotte beat on Ruby? Because I don’t think that’s going to be a winning strategy, that’s just asking for a disqualification.

Claire: If she was wanting to get disqualified it doesn’t look like our friend from Buffalo is taking the bait. I think she’s a lot more interested in seeing what Ruby can do in the ring right now.

Ruby got back to her feet on the floor just as Sapphire took off towards her with a baseball slide that caught her in the chest. It sent Tyler stumbling backwards. Sapphire slid out after her, and whipped her chest first into the ring apron. She shoved the veteran back into the ring, and looked at Charlotte to encourage her to take Ruby out. But the Anarchy Champion glared at her, and remained seated where she was. Sapphire shook her head, and headed back to the ring. She hopped up onto the apron just as an oncoming Ruby caught her with a running European uppercut! It would have sent her off the apron, but Tyler grabbed her head and brought her back inside with a vertical suplex.

Zack: I think she really does want Charlotte to do her dirty work, and look what happens when you don’t focus on Ruby!

Claire: Charlotte’s spent a long time doing the dirty work for other people so I’m not surprised she’s done with that. While Ruby showed her the hard way to get back in the ring and I don’t think she’s going to allow Sapphire to turn the tables anytime soon.

Sapphire got back to her feet, and that’s when Ruby’s brawling skills came into play. She began throwing hands, mostly combination shots to the body followed by a few well placed jabs to the side of her head. It sent Taylor stumbling backwards before Ruby whipped her across to the far side, and caught her on the rebound with a spinebuster. She followed up with a tight leg hook before Wilson dropped to count.

Zack: Getting into a fistfight with Ruby is not a good idea, and she may be close to three already!

ONE!!

TW-NO.

The musician kicked out, and Ruby got back to her feet. Taylor only sat up before Tyler began firing front kicks into her chest one after another. Four in a row landed before she bounced off the near side with a knee trembler to the head that put Taylor back on the mat.

Claire: A brawl suits Ruby right down to the ground. Sapphire can’t allow herself to get sucked into that sort of battle, she has to do everything she can to work to her strengths or it’ll be a very bruising night for her.

Emerald shouted to Sapphire as she was getting back to her feet. The musician was a little wobbly, and Ruby took full advantage of that as she fired her chest first into the corner. Taylor struck hard before stumbling backwards, and Ruby hit the near side to rebound with a discus clothesline that put Taylor on her butt on the mat again. Ruby pulled her up from behind for an inverted suplex that sent her face down onto the canvas.

Zack: Ruby’s well and truly in charge of this match, and Sapphire’s getting dropped from almost every direction. She’s certainly shown better focus, whereas Sapphire wanted Charlotte to do her work for her.

Claire: Ruby is showcasing some of the things that she is capable of right in front of the Anarchy Champion and Sapphire can’t be enjoying her night in the slightest here.

Ruby started to circle behind the newcomer as she began to get up. Taylor took her time too as Emerald tried to warn her that Ruby was behind her. When the musician got to her feet, Ruby closed the gap and pulled her opponent into a cobra clutch submission. Sapphire began flailing her free arm wildly as she tried to get to the ropes. She almost made it before Ruby dragged her backwards to the center. That’s when Sapphire pulled the referee towards her, and used a mule kick between Ruby’s legs to break the hold and send her to her knees.

Claire: Well…that’s one way to get the break and maybe stop her opponent in their tracks. Sapphire has an opening to get back into this match. Could she pick up the victory?

Zack: I think she more wants to shake off the cobwebs. Ruby had that hold applied for a little while, and Sapphire wants to get the fog machine in her head turned off.

Emerald once again told Sapphire to stay on her, but the brunette was trying to shake off the effects of the submission. When she did and saw Ruby beginning to get back to her feet, a running high knee to the jaw sent the veteran staggering backwards. Sapphire grabbed her head and started slamming it against the top turnbuckle repeatedly. A quick scoop onto her shoulders led into a running Samoan drop in the center of the ring before Sapphire stepped out onto the apron, yelling at her to get up. Ruby made it to her feet, and turned into a flying forearm off the top rope that landed perfectly before Taylor laid across her for the cover.

Zack: Sapphire’s really turning it on now, and that’s a potential knockout if I ever saw one!

ONE!!!

TWOOOO!!

Ruby got her shoulder up a half second after the two struck the mat, and Sapphire got back to her feet. She looked back to Charlotte, who still was right where she had been. She kicked Ruby out of the ring at Charlotte’s feet before pulling the referee to her again, trying to give Charlotte the opening to attack her without getting caught. Emerald started encouraging the Anarchy Champion to do some damage to Ruby while her client had the referee’s attention.

Claire: Charlotte still isn’t showing any interest at all in attacking Ruby - at least not right now and this is turning out to be a huge tactical misjudgement on behalf of Emerald and Sapphire.

Seeing that Charlotte wasn’t going to do anything, Sapphire finished distracting the referee and went to the ropes to ask her what her problem was. That got the attention of the Anarchy Champion as Emerald came around the corner asking her if she was just gonna sit there like a log. Meanwhile, Ruby had moved around to the other corner, and was pulling herself back onto the apron.

Zack: Charlotte has NO ties to either of these two, but it’s like they expect her to work for them. They may regret focusing on her, because…look who’s getting back into the ring!

Claire: Emerald might want to settle down some. The last thing she wants to do is get on the bad side of the Moose tonight. And Sapphire…well Charlotte might choose to wait till the end of the match then do a little bit of ‘Anything you can do, I can do better’ with Ruby.

Tyler made it back inside. And just as Sapphire turned back to the ring, she caught a headbutt to the face before Ruby unleashed machine gun chops with both arms to her chest. The musician clutched her upper body in pain, and Ruby used a one-handed bulldog to put her down on the mat. Tyler pulled her up and sent her across with an Irish whip. Taylor rebounded into a pop-up facebuster! The fans came to their feet as Ruby went for the cover with a leg hook!

Zack: That was a hellacious impact! And I think Ruby’s about done with the Gemstones!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NO.

Sapphire got her shoulder up in time just before the three, and rolled right out to the apron to avoid Ruby. The “Huntress” got back to her feet as Sapphire laid under the bottom rope to make sure the referee kept Ruby away from her.

Claire: Sapphire just about got her face rearranged with the impact right there and these are some veteran instincts she’s showing…or sheer dumb luck… to roll to the apron to buy herself time.

Ruby paced back and forth as the referee kept her back. Finally, Sapphire pulled herself to her feet on the apron, and that’s when the veteran charged her with a shoulder block that sent her off the apron. Taylor landed awkwardly on her feet, which seemed to amuse Charlotte just a little as the champion pointed back to the ring as she looked at her.

Zack: I think the champ liked that. With as much static as she’s been getting from Sapphire and Emerald, she’s shown a fair amount of restraint, I’d say.

Claire: Definitely. I think Emerald can consider herself very lucky that Charlotte hasn’t mowed her down already. Sapphire might only be saved by the fact that Harker’s happy to see if she can luck into finding a weakness in Ruby’s game.

It didn’t sit well with Sapphire, who started back towards the ring. But she stopped herself, and surprised Charlotte with a standing sidekick to the head that toppled Harker, her title, and the chair to fall over.

Zack: Oh no.. I think she thought Charlotte was laughing at her…

Ruby’s mouth opened into an “O” as she saw this, and Sapphire climbed back onto the apron….and Charlotte rose to her feet with a thunderous look.

Claire: Sapphire’s a brave, brave woman. Ruby’s fearing for the worst - but only because she can see the look on Harker’s face right now.

Sapphire stepped back into the ring just as Charlotte stepped up onto the apron, and stepped in behind her. The referee encouraged her to leave before Sapphire lunged for Ruby. But the veteran avoided her. When Taylor turned around, she looked up into the eyes of the Anarchy Champion clutching her jaw where she got struck. Emerald hopped on the apron, pulling the referee to her as she demanded he throw Charlotte out of the ring.

Zack: Oh yeah, he’s gonna tell Charlotte what to do?! Good luck with that!

Claire: This is a bad, bad move by Emerald! The last thing she wants to do is distract the referee when Charlotte is on the warpath after her client.

Sapphire went for a haymaker, but Charlotte blocked it and scooped her up into her side slam backbreaker! The Anarchy Champion got back to her feet, looking down with anger on her face at Sapphire.

Zack: CHARLOTTE’S CRUCIFIX!!

After hearing the impact, Wilson turned back around but obviously didn’t see what happened as Ruby shrugged and went for the cover with the outside leg hooked!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

Tyler immediately rolled out of the ring to the floor, where the referee joined her and raised her hand. Charlotte remained angrily stoic looking from Ruby then back to Sapphire…and then to Emerald who began berating her from the apron.

Claire: Sapphire dig her own grave there and with Emerald’s help, Charlotte put her in it.  The Gemstone was not kicking out after that impact.

Lexi: Your winner by pinfall……………….’THE HUNTRESS’ RUBY TYLER!!

Zack: Ruby isn’t gonna look a gift horse…or moose in the mouth, and picked up the win with an unlikely assist from the Anarchy Champion. That was all Sapphire and Emerald’s fault right there.

Claire: Another win for Ruby, albeit with the assist and she just keeps on rolling towards Charlotte Harker and the Anarchy Championship. While for Sapphire this is a lesson learned the hard way.

Charlotte’s attention went to Emerald, who was calling her some very unsavory things from the apron. And the Anarchy Champion headed straight for her.

Zack: Emerald is really calling Charlotte everything in the book…. And if she really wants the Anarchy Champion’s attention, she’s about to have all of it!

Claire: Emerald is either really brave or very, very foolhardy. I don’t think she should be drawing the ire of the Anarchy Champion - not unless she wants to be broken in half.

Charlotte went to grab the manager, but Emerald dropped off the apron and pulled Sapphire out of the ring with her to the floor. Ruby still looked amused by the whole thing as she backed up the ramp, while Harker retrieved her Anarchy Championship.

Zack: I think Charlotte seemed content to just watch the match, but Sapphire and her manager incited her and this is what happens.

Claire: They brought this upon themselves. If only they’d focused on Ruby, Sapphire might, possibly have left here tonight with a huge victory. Instead, she’s leaving with a need for a huge ice pack to press against her spine.

The camera focused on the unamused look on the face of Charlotte Harker before the show cut to a commercial for FFW vs. Future Shock in 2 weeks.

Belles Will Be Ringing

The show cuts to the back to find Sara with one half of tonight’s main event, that being the Shaolin Belles, who get a very loud response from the fans watching in the arena. The reporter stands between them as she begins.

Sara: The next few weeks may be the busiest in the short history of this tag team, and I’m referring to the reigning Nova Champion Angelina Fantastica and the woman voted Most Loved in Arabella Townshend. Thank you both for joining me. First up, Angelina, we now know you’ll be defending your Nova Championship on Breaking Point’s 200th episode against Madyson Stone. I’m sure she was preferable to having to deal with Fiona, right?

Angelina: I mean, yeah. I’m glad that I get to be defending this against someone like Madyson. She’s incredibly talented, a former champion, and I’m sure she wants to get her hands on some again. Of course, I don’t want that to be at my expense, but at least I don’t have to worry about getting whacked upside the head by Penguin and Riddler. I will say though, kicking Madyson in the head will be much less satisfying than it would be if I was doing it to Fiona.

Sara: Maybe next time! You’ve already addressed your opponents for tonight, so I won’t dig into that. But there are two things I did want to cover. One is your match representing Future Shock at the FFW vs. Future Shock event on July 5th. You’ll be meeting the Wicked Storm for the first time, and I’m sure you remember their antics last year when they were trying to collect the tag titles here, in FFW, and SVW at once.

Arabella: First of all, we’re honored to be representing Future Shock in this match against Wicked Storm. And yes, we remember rather vividly what they were attempting to do, but the fact is, they failed. They’re going to relive that failure on July 5th - Angelina and I may not be the tag team champions anymore, but I can guarantee you we’ll fight Kristina and Michelle and show them what championship material really looks like. It’s only a matter of time before the Belles are back on top of the tag division, after all.

Sara: Especially if you win tonight’s main event, you’d become the new #1 contenders. Lastly, hopefully it’s not too sore of a subject. But I feel like you need to address what all has been going on with Latina Heat. What started as them trying to sell the Nova title and embarrass each of you has certainly gotten a lot more….personal. There’s been some pretty harsh things said recently, and I wanted to give you both a chance to respond.

Angelina: Look. There’s a lot I can say, and probably will at some point, but right now I’m gonna try and be professional.

Arabella: ‘Try’ being the key word in that sentence.

The Nova Champion shoots her tag team partner a look, then turns her attention back to Sara.

Angelina: AS I WAS SAYING. If Latina Heat want to go around embarrassing themselves, that’s their business. They showed out against the Doomsday Sisters, I’ll give them that, but the shit they do outside the ring? Cringy as hell.

Arabella: Indeed it is. It’s been made patently obvious that Jake has no interest in either of them, and these over the top displays they make are just going to get even more tacky as time goes on. It does annoy me to see it - I think any woman in my situation would feel that way. But I know who I’m dating. Shockingly enough, we do have conversations. I know that they’re just throwing trash at the wall to see what sticks–

Angelina: Shit. Throwing shit at the wall to see what sticks.

Arabella: Well, whatever you want to call it. I don’t appreciate them dragging Jake into everything, because Jake isn’t the one they’re facing. In fact, if they keep going after my boyfriend instead of me, I think it shows that they’re scared of what they’ve unleashed, and are hoping to distract their way out of getting powerbombed through the canvas the way they deserve.

Sara: Something you said there struck a chord with me. You’re right in that Jake has shown zero interest in Francesca, who seems to be the most interested in him. Yet if you listen to her, she seems to read between lines…that aren’t there. I guess the question here is what do you do with a woman who won’t take no for an answer?

Arabella: Beat her again and again until she decides to go annoy someone else with her attention.

Angelina: I… yeah. What she said. I always say, don’t start no shit, won’t be no shit. And the Heat, well, they went and started shit. So now they get to reap what they’ve sown.

Sara: Thank you both for talking with me, and good luck tonight in the main event.

And that’s when the show cut to a commercial break.

Fuck Around and Find Out

Recorded Earlier Today…..

The waves of the Atlantic Ocean lap the shore on what looks to be a very warm day. There’s a a handful of people walking along the shore in both directions. And when the camera turns around, we find two more people. Both of them instantly familiar under a lounge umbrella to stay out of the sun, but still dressed like they may go into the water at some point. And probably a pool rather than the ocean. Those two people? One is Kyle Kilmeade in a pair of trunks with a glass on the table to his left. The other, also with a glass AND A Future Shock Championship next to it, is the “Million Dollar Baby” Cait Flanagan in a gold bikini, clearly coordinating her outfit to match her title.

Kyle: If it wasn’t for the boardwalk and the beach, there’s really nothing about this city that makes it stand out. Later tonight, Future Shock will give this city something else to do. But one thing it will not have in the arena….is the one champion who was never pinned or submitted for her Future Shock title. One thing it won’t have is the reason many of you watch the show. Because since the first night she arrived in Future Shock to the night she fooled all of you by letting me out of a cage, Cait Flanagan has been the focal point…the Center of Attention, which she actually did win. And now with all this obvious disrespect of not giving her what she deserves, there’s a very real danger Future Shock will lose Cait Flanagan.

Cait: You’d think after this long, they would know what happens when I don’t get my way.

Kyle: That’s what I’ve been trying to tell them. They don’t believe it apparently.

Cait: Well then, I suppose if they won’t give me what I want - and rightly deserve, by the way - then I suppose I’ll just have to find another avenue. And I don’t think they’ll like what happens if the most interesting, influential champion Future Shock has ever had decides to find a place that will recognize her true value.

Kyle: Here’s the score.

He stops long enough to enjoy his drink.

Kyle: At the end of July, the contractual services of Cait Flanagan in Future Shock expire. Now I have sent more than one proposal to Future Shock management on how to retain her services past the end of July. And I’ve not been impressed with the responses. By the way, Adam, thanks for mentioning me last show. All I can say is if you’re dumb enough to keep helping me when you get the short end all the time….well that’s a you problem and not a me problem. Anyway!

He shakes his head briefly.

Kyle: You have no idea how much interest there is in Cait Flanagan. You have no idea the contract offers that are sitting on my desk right now wanting the true Future Shock Champion. And as her business manager and closest confidant, I can tell you that if you think she and I won’t take her services elsewhere, whoo boy! Well there’s a saying.

He glances towards her and back to the camera.

Kyle: It goes a little something like…. Fuck around and find out.

Cait: That attitude is the reason I became a client of his, by the way. Kyle will ruthlessly pursue what’s in my best interest, and the longer you spend dicking us around, the more it’s going to cost you. Trust and believe that you do not want these problems. You’ve seen what Kyle and I have been capable of pulling off inside the ring. Now imagine what it must be like to negotiate with us outside of it. The true Future Shock Champion is going to get everything that she is owed, everything that she deserves, and a interest for every day that was spent trying to convince her to take a deal that wasn’t worthy of her. And as always, it will be done no matter what it takes.

Kyle: Since I’m not getting the responses I want privately, here’s the contract demands publicly. And by the way, these are non-negotiable at this point. I tried to do it the other way, but didn’t get shit. So here it is. One, Cait’s new salary is going to be in the seven figure range per year. Two, for every match you book Cait in, she gets to book her own match against whoever she wants. Three, she gets first refusal on bookings. We’re not here trying to give the rub to some dimwit who just signed their first contract last week. And fourth, Future Shock itself will cover all her travel. That includes hotels and private airfare. We don’t fly coach.

Cait: Which is all perfectly reasonable given how much of my time and effort has been spent on building Future Shock into what it’s become today. I mean honestly, I went and saved the whole company from the utter boredom of having champions like Carys and Alessandra. I singlehandedly kept up Kyle’s reputation as a manager here when the others went to FFW. I have been a pillar in this company, and they want to treat me like I’m just some ordinary worker. Unbelievable.

Kyle: Do you really want a top draw? Someone who will those seats no matter who she faces? Well you know the terms, and I’ll even give you a couple or three weeks to accept. Otherwise, at the end of July, Future Shock can say goodbye to the “Million Dollar Baby”....which is a fitting name when you consider what it’s gonna cost to keep her.

The two look at one another and share a smile before we got back to the live show.

Future Shock returns from the break back to the ring, and finds the gorgeous Lexi once again in the ring.

Lexi: The following contest is scheduled for one fall to a finish with a twenty minute time limit! And the winner will receive a Future Shock Nova Championship match!

Zack: We found out at Breaking Point this past Saturday that not only does the winner of this match get a shot at the Nova Championship, but it’ll be part of the 200th episode of Breaking Point as well. How about that? And the fact Future Shock will get to be part of the show as well?

Claire: It makes this match bigger and all that much more important. Not only do you get yourself a title shot but you get it on a landmark, milestone, history making edition of Breaking Point. A win here and you’re one victory away from writing your own place in the FFW history books. I’m sure that will be a little bit of added motivation for both competitors tonight.

“Pour it up” by Rihanna begins to play loudly all throughout the arena. As it does we are able to see Fiona walking from the back joined by Kyle Kilmeade. Fiona is holding an umbrella in her hand and she pops it open. As it does, 100 dollar bills begin to flow from the ceiling.

Lexi: Ladies and gentlemen making her way to the ring being accompanied by Kyle Kilmeade weighing in at 130 pounds from Belfast, North Ireland, she is “The Weather Girl” “The self Proclaimed Innovator of Moonsaults” Fiona O’Dalaigh!!

She uses the umbrella to keep them from hitting her. Fiona twirls her umbrella in circles and laughs at the fans booing her as Kyle tells her to ignore them.. She slides into the ring and gives Kyle her umbrella. She pulls down on her booty shorts a bit, spanking on her ass as she waits for the match to start.

Zack: There’s not a lot to like about Fiona. I haven’t found anything yet, but she’s also proven that she is as capable in the ring as she ever was since returning from a nearly 7 year hiatus. Don’t let all the nonsense about weather fool you, she is exceptionally dangerous between the ropes.

Claire: The nonsense about the weather. Or the moonsaults. Or the theatrics with the umbrella. Fiona is a very capable wrestler, one who - like every Kilmeade client - is always extraordinarily well prepared. O’Dalaigh could well pick up a big win tonight.

The lights go out completely as Legendary starts to play. A lightning effect of white and blue pyrotechnics erupts, lighting up the stage for a second at a time. In each of the flashes the silhouette of a female standing centre stage is highlighted.

Hold up, no, you didn't bow, bow
I ain't the chick to walk behind you 'round town
Just 'cause you're packin', packin', whoop, down south
That don't mean I'm ever gonna take it lying down, baby

The pyrotechnics finish and as the lights come up the sound of an engine revving plays on top of the music track and a puff of smoke covers the stage for a moment. The smoke clears to reveal Madyson Stone standing with her hands on her hips and a smirk on her face.

Oh, I'm a machine when I do it
I'll be catching fire, gasoline when I do it
Just 'cause you're packin', packin', whoop, down south
That don't mean I'm ever gonna take it lying down

Lexi: Introducing at this time from Salem, Oregon…...MADYSON STONE!

Baby, you're the man
But I got the, I got the, I got the power
You make rain
But I make it, I make it, I make it shower
You should know, I'm the one who's in control
I'll let you come take the wheel, long as you don't forget
Who got the power?
I got the, I got the power
I got the, I got the power
I got the, I got the power
Hold up!
(My turn)

Madyson takes off at a run to the ring and jumps straight up onto the apron, standing there for a moment to survey the crowd before she pulls the top rope down and hops over it into the ring. She makes her way to her corner and hops up to sit on the turnbuckle as she awaits the start of the match.

Zack: We heard from Madyson on the last edition of this show. This is an opportunity she wants a great deal, and has a lot of respect for the champion. I’m not sure that respect has been extended to Fiona here, not that she’s been given any reason to change that.

Claire: I’m sure there is a level of respect that Madyson extends towards Fiona…even if it is well masked in a natural loathing, despising and hatred of Fiona. Stone won’t take anything for granted tonight and she’ll be going all out to beat her opponent.

Referee Ashley Pruitt calls for the bell to start the match, and  Fiona is still talking with her manager. Kyle’s already on the floor ringside as Fiona is running her hands across her waist, asking him how good he thinks the Nova Championship is going to look on her. Madyson rolls her eyes as she stands in the opposite corner, while Fiona leans through the ropes to exchange some whispering with her manager.

Zack: Not short of confidence, is she? Fiona’s already decided she’s going to be the Nova Champion, and she hasn’t even so much as touched Madyson to win the shot yet.

Claire: Let’s be fair Zack, she thought she was going to be the next Nova Champion before she’d even stepped into a Future Shock ring. As far as she’s concerned this is little more than a formality.

The whispering took a little too long for Madyson’s tastes as she darted across the ring to kick the middle rope into Fiona’s body. That stopped the whispering as Stone grabbed her into a rear waistlock, pulled her away from her manager and then began introducing her face into the top turnbuckle multiple times. Her head hit seven times before Madyson applied that rear waistlock again, only to snap off a German suplex. The redhead had barely gotten back to her feet before Madyson met her with a running forearm to the side of her head. It staggered Fiona backwards before Stone mowed her down with a shoulder block.

Zack: Madyson may be taking this match a little more seriously than Fiona, at least if you go by the fact that the weather girl hasn’t even got a shot off yet! Maybe she should have gotten Kyle’s opinions on how a title would look on her before she came out.

Claire: Madyson certainly wasn’t prepared to give her opponent all night to discuss things over with her manager and she’s looking to make this a short night for herself.

Fiona made it back to her feet, only to get fired into the neutral corner. Stone followed her in with a corner clothesline before mounting the middle rope. The fans counted off ten elbows to the top of her head before Stone hopped back to the mat to monkey flip O’Dalaigh to the center of the ring. The middle Stone sister kipped up to her feet, and delivered a leaping elbow drop to her chest before rolling over to make the cover.

Zack: My goodness! Does Madyson want that title shot or what?!

ONE!!

TW-NO.

Fiona kicked out as the two was coming down, and Stone was quickly back to her feet. She took off towards the ropes, but the redhead rolled herself right out of the ring to the floor, and was soon joined by Kyle.

Claire: This might be the smartest thing Fiona could’ve done. Madyson was building up a head of steam here and was close to rolling right over Fiona and into the Championship match at Breaking Point 200!!

Madyson stopped in her tracks when she saw Fiona had left the ring, and let out a deep breath and shook her head. The brunette glanced at the crowd as Fiona conferred with her manager, and then rolled out around the corner to go get her. The witch rounded the corner just as Fiona scooped up her umbrella and pointed it towards Madyson. And given what Madyson had seen her do with it in the past, she stopped again. Fiona told the referee to let her get back in the ring before she cautiously handed the weapon to Kyle, and rolled back in under the bottom rope.

Claire: You don’t normally round the corner and find yourself coming face to face with an umbrella. Not unless you’re Batman or Robin and facing the Penguin anyway.

Zack: 100% right, but I don’t blame Madyson in the slightest. We’ve seen those aren’t just your average everyday umbrellas. Ask Gwen Margolis.

Madyson followed her back into the ring, but didn’t make it the whole way before Fiona dropped a knee onto the back of her head as she was rolling inside. She grabbed two handfuls of her hair and started pounding Madyson’s face into the canvas. Fiona choked her against the bottom rope, and then stood on her back to choke her more as Pruitt counted to four. She stepped off, and right back on for another four count.

Zack: Much as you might hate to admit it, that was a veteran tactic from Fiona. Be the first to get back into the ring, and then attack your opponent when they follow you.

Claire: She’s continuing in the same veteran vein too with the choke. It’s a good way to sap the strength of your foe and make sure that you can keep control while expending minimum effort yourself. The referee has to stay on top of her.

Fiona finally stopped the choking, and dragged Madyson towards the center of the ring. As the brunette was trying to get up, the redhead fired a few knees into her body to keep her doubled over as she put her into position for a pumphandle slam. The weather girl took off for the ropes, hopping onto the middle for a springboard splash. She was very proud of herself as she got to her feet, proclaiming herself the “innovator of moonsaults” with a wide grin on her face.

Claire: The delusion runs deep doesn’t it? Still, if it makes her happy, yes, Fiona that was a nicely executed splash. Well done.

Zack: It must be mentally exhausting for Kyle to have to prop up all these egomaniacs he manages. She needs to stay on offense though. A pat on the back is only 18 inches away from a kick in the can.

Madyson was beginning to get up, and Fiona quickly went for a rear waistlock. But Stone tried to fight out of it with back elbows from both arms. The weather girl managed to duck her head to avoid them, and countered by grabbing a full nelson and then slamming her back to the mat with it. She darted towards the corner as Stone was getting to all fours, and came down with a guillotine leg drop from the top rope! Madyson was driven face down into the mat before Fiona rolled her over for the cover!

Claire: Excellent offensive work from Fiona here. She’s keeping Madyson on the back foot and might be three seconds away from a meeting with Angelina!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOO!!!

TH-NO.

Stone got her shoulder off the mat after the two count, and Fiona got to her feet to put the boots to the back of her head. The witch tried to get up, but got pulled into a position for a DDT….only for Madyson to drive her backwards into the corner and knock the wind out of her.

Zack: Fiona has those flashes of brilliance, and now she just had the wind knocked out of her. Madyson has to make the most of this opening she’s created.

Stone started using shoulder thrusts into Fiona’s body, causing her feet to lift off the mat with each shot. She stepped back, trying to recover from Fiona’s offense. The redhead darted out of the corner, looking for a one-handed bulldog. But Madyson turned into her and made it a back body drop. O’Dalaigh hit the mat, and Madyson was now on one knee as she tried to pull herself together with Fiona already rising again.

Claire: Stone’s got a moment here but the window of opportunity can close suddenly. She needs to make sure that she makes the first move here and doesn’t let Fiona press an advantage.

The redhead circled behind her as Madyson rose to her feet again. As she turned towards the ring, Fiona came in from behind and applied an octopus stretch. Pruitt darted around in front of the witch to see if she wanted to give up. Kyle applauded his client, praising her execution as Fiona hung on tightly.

Zack: Look at this! That’s something new Fiona has added to her arsenal, likely thanks to her manager. I haven’t seen an octopus stretch in a while!

Claire: Madyson is getting her arm wrenched backwards at an unusual angle and Fiona is trying to use her weight and leg to control the head…but I don’t think the former Anarchy Champion is going to quit easily.

Madyson lumbered forward with two steps, now finding herself near the center of the ring with Fiona hanging onto her. Pruitt moved around to check again, still not getting the response she needed to stop the match. The fans got louder in her favor before Madyson fell backwards, driving her entire body into Fiona’s underneath her to break the hold and roll away from her.

Zack: That’s the easiest way to get out of that hold, Claire. Madyson just crushed Fiona under her, and has another opening now.

Claire: That’s one of the cons of that hold. As much pain as it may cause your opponent, it does also put you in a vulnerable position as we just saw. Madyson has to try and exploit this.

The fans were chanting her name again as Madyson got back to her feet. Fiona was only a second behind her. And when the redhead went for a double ax handle, Stone caught her with a boot to the stomach as she came forward. A second landed before Madyson used the ropes for a springboard into a disaster kick to the side of her head. It dropped Fiona like a rock before the witch dove across her for the cover with a hook of the leg.

Zack: I think Madyson’s about to be the #1 contender in three seconds!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NO!

Fiona got her shoulder off the mat as the three was about to touch, and Pruitt waved it off. Madyson rolled away from her, glancing back at the referee to make sure it was just two. Kyle was pounding the mat, and yelling at Fiona to come towards him as she laid face up.

Claire: Stone almost scored a knockout with that kick to the face and you can see how worried Kyle is as he tries to rally his client from ringside.

Madyson leaned against the ropes to pull herself together, as her opponent did just what was asked of her. Fiona rolled to her stomach, and spotted Kyle before crawling in his direction. The brunette shook her head, and got up to go get her before she rolled out of the ring. She caught her on the apron, and pulled her head between the ropes for what looked like a hangman’s DDT. But as she went for it, Kyle grabbed Fiona’s legs and let Madyson land on the back of her head while his client was still hanging over the middle rope.

Claire: Kyle saves his clients bacon right there and the referee should be sending him to the back for getting involved in this. And no, I don’t care that he only touched his client.

Zack: Me neither, and you may be about to get your wish! Pruitt’s reading him the riot act, and she’s already pointing to the back!

Fiona slid back into the ring, and pulled Madyson’s legs apart to deliver a headbutt between them while the referee was arguing with Kyle. She headed for the corner to make her way up to the top rope, and went for her split-legged moonsault!

Zack: It’s not looking for TODAY’S FORECAST!!

Stone rolled out of the way though, and let Fiona crash to the canvas in a heap. She gritted her teeth as she tried to block out the pain, and pulled the redhead up into her Unprettier before making the cover! The referee ignored Kyle, and dove into position.

Zack: I misjudged that!! Madyson struck paydirt with BLACK MAGIC!!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Pruitt called for the bell as Madyson rolled off the cover, still clutching where that headbutt landed as she sat on the mat for a moment. When she made it to her feet, she got her hand raised.

Lexi: Your winner by pinfall….AND THE #1 CONTENDER TO THE NOVA TITLE….MADYSON STONE!!!

Claire: Despite all of Kyle’s antics and his attempts to help Fiona steal this one, Madyson has overcome and picked up a victory tonight. She’s secured her spot for the marquee occasion - Breaking Point 200!!

The fans showed nothing but love for the witch as she gritted her teeth and raised her hands over her head. A glare shot back to Kyle before she looked at the crowd, and held up her index finger to proclaim her #1 contender status.

Zack: It’ll be Madyson and Angelina in the Staples Center for the 200th Breaking Point with the Nova Championship on the line. That should be one hell of a title match right there.

Claire: It’ll be one heck of a challenge for Angelina as she defends against one of the most talented, toughest and most resilient competitors in Future Shock. Honestly, I think this match could steal the milestone show!

Stone rolled out to the floor, taking in the appreciation of the crowd before the show cut to a commercial for the 200th Breaking Point on July 2nd.

Purely Shaw

The show cuts to the back, and finds the reigning FFW Pure Champion alongside her manager in front of the FFW vs. Future Shock logo from the show poster.

Kyle: Let’s cut to the chase this time, shall we? At Global Wars, Shaw and I laid out an open contract for anyone on either the FFW or Future Shock roster to come out and claim a shot at the only title that lets you cross brands: the FFW Pure Championship. I heard a reporter for this company indicate that she thought when Missy came out to sign it that Shaw saw a ghost. Or that I was concerned and worried. While I appreciate her trying to sell All Access subscriptions to see this main event in 2 weeks, nothing could be further from the truth.

Kyle shook his head in dismay.

Kyle: What on Earth would Shaw have to be worried about? Someone tell me. Okay, Missy won their match at Unstoppable 11 about 2 years ago. Here’s a trivia question for you. How many people in the history of FFW or Future Shock can say they have beat Shaw twice? Pencils down, no one! Not a soul. Shaw has the best record in FFW history honestly, and everybody has an off night. Hers just come fewer and farther between….like the time between visits of Halley's Comet. But please…I beg you…please walk into FFW vs. Future Shock in 2 weeks thinking you’re living in Shaw’s head. That she’s afraid of you. That you’ve already won. It’ll be a short night if you do. Because frankly, Missy is the one opponent she’s wanted to meet again. She’s the one opponent Shaw hasn’t avenged that loss from anyone still on this roster. She’s the little blemish that Shaw hasn’t had the chance to expunge. That happens in Boston in 2 weeks.

Shaw nodded her head in her agreement.

Shaw: Look. Let me be honest with you. Let me lay all my cards on the table here. When we stood in that ring at Global Wars and offered up that open contract, did I expect Missy to be the woman to come out and sign it? No. I didn’t. I knew it was a possibility, but honestly, I was expecting someone young and hungry and ambitious, someone who wanted to make a name for themselves and - win or lose - strap a rocket to their back. That didn’t happen and instead at FFW vs Future Shock, live on FFW All Access, there’s going to be a rematch two years in the making. A match between the two longest reigning FFW Champions of all time. Between two of the very best to have ever stepped foot in an FFW ring and two who made their name in a Future Shock ring. Which makes it all the more fitting that it takes place on FFW vs Future Shock.

Shaw: And just like Kyle said, there is no-one in the history of Future Shock or the history of FFW that has beaten me twice. The reason I have the best record in all of FFW history? Because I learn from my mistakes, I learn from my missteps, I learn from my losses - as few and far between as they are. Every day I’m improving. Every day I’m looking to add something extra, for those marginal gains that don’t separate the good from the great but separate the great from the exceptional. Two years ago, Missy, I was a hair away from beating you, from the match being stopped and from me walking away with the FFW Championship. Today, I’m two years wiser. Two years toughers. Two years better. I’ve gone from strength to strength  and in two weeks time, I’m going to face you in Boston with the Pure Championship on the line and you’ll find out everything that I’ve learned, all the ways that I’ve improved…all the ways that I’m better now than I was in the main event of Unstoppable 11. I pushed you all the way on that night. In two weeks, I promise that I’ll push you even further, I’ll wipe that one stain from my record and I’ll leave with the Pure Championship.

Kyle: I want you to take in the dynamics of all this. Look at the setting: Boston. Where Future Shock and you and your husband live and call home. Look at the card. I guarantee you every woman on the FFW roster on that show will get booed out of the building, while Future Shock’s side of the card? Nothing but love because they haven’t seen the home team in months at this point. This show couldn’t be more tilted towards Future Shock if your husband and Bri tried. You, as well as five other women, will be treated like heroes coming home from the war. That’s a lot of pressure. Tell yourself whatever you need to hear. That you might believe Shaw’s worried. That she is biting her fingernails because you had a good night almost 2 years ago…..when she has good nights virtually every time the bell rings and she’s standing in one corner.

There was a nod of her head.

Shaw: For me, sure, there’s the pressure of proving that I can beat you. There’s the pressure of keeping hold of the Pure Championship; keeping up the record that I have of when I win a title belt that I keep it and keep it and keep it to the point where I seem almost invincible. There’s the “pressure” that I put on myself to be the very best. But I’m used to all that. When it was announced that Charlotte and I were joining the tag team season of Future Shock we were the unknown dark horses…when we won, people said we couldn’t keep it up and that my ego would be brought down a peg or two. But I just kept on rolling. Win after win after win. I relish that Missy. I love it when people try to say that they’re living in my head, that they have my number, that I have an uphill battle in front of me. It energises me. It motivates me. It pushes me on and it fuels me to be better; to be the undisputed, unquestioned best that has ever stepped into this ring. I want to set the bar. I’m not happy just being a Legend. As for the crowd….love me, hate me, cheer me, jeer me… it doesn’t matter to me. I just keep on doing what I do. Winning matches. Winning titles. Making highlight reels. Writing my name into the history books. I’ll be more than ready to do that again in two weeks time in your hometown.

A graphic for the main event of the All Access event fills the screen before the show cuts to a commercial break.

DOC Isn't Interested in Haberdashers

The next thing the viewers see is Sara catching up with DOC, who looks more than a little annoyed as he’s found standing outside the locker room of Fiona O’Daliaigh. And by the way he’s shaking the doorknob, the entrance is locked.

Sara: DOC< I understand you wanted some time tonight. What’s on your mind?

DOC: This, Sara! This right here! I’ve been chasing down Kyle Kilmeade for over a month now to get a contract signed between River Campbel..Wrestler of the Year…and Ashley Marie Chase. But he’s touched in the head, something wrong up top.

Sara gives DOC a curious look.

Sara: How do you figure?

DOC: Last time I talked to him in person, he gave me his number. But he doesn’t even know his own number. I called it four times, and you know who keeps answering?

Sara: Uh..no.

DOC: A haberdasher in New Haven, Connecticut. DOC isn’t looking into buying a hat! Does he even live in Connecticut?

Sara: I don’t think so, but I’m not sure. I think he may have just given you a fake number, kinda like girls do at a club with a guy they don’t want to actually call them.

DOC: I’m not calling him for a date. I want him to agree to sign the contract, and he’s not even here!

Sara: Well Fiona just had a match, and we just saw him with Shaw before the break. And if I were you, I wouldn’t wait around for him because you could be asking for trouble.

DOC: Oh, I’m not going to wait around. I’m going to get the contract drawn up, and I’m gonna go find him 2 weeks from tonight at FFW vs. Future Shock! And he’s going to sign the contract for the match, or….

Sara: Or what?

DOC: Well…I hate to have to get tough on people. But there could be some fisticuffs involved!

Sara: Fisticuffs? You’re gonna try to push him around and beat him up? I really don’t think that’s a good idea, DOC. Why not just go to Adam or Bri and–?

DOC: You let me handle my client business, Sara. Don’t you worry. While River handles Amethyst Steele and all her nicknames, DOC’s gonna get his job done too! Just don’t let River know, she worries. You know how it is.

DOC patted Sara on the arm, and walked off camera. She was about to tell him that they were on live TV and River would probably see it. But he had already walked off. Sara looked more than concerned about this development as the show went back to the ring for the main event.

The show returns from the commercial break back to the ring, and once more, we find Lexi ready and waiting to begin the final introductions.

Lexi: The following tag team contest is scheduled for one fall to a finish with a twenty minute time limit!

Zack: Not only that, Lexi, but if the Belles win, this also becomes a #1 contender match for them because a win here would certainly put them in that spot. Or potentially put them at the back of the line.

Claire: This could well be a huge night for the Belles and a way to put all their troubles and shenanigans from the Latina Heat behind them in a big way tonight.

As the intro to Fall Out Boy’s “Immortals” hits, Arabella Townshend and Angelina Fantastica enter from opposite sides of the stage, meeting in the middle at the top of the ramp with a high-five that sets off bursts of pyro. The two of them then take off down the ramp, slapping hands with the fans as they approach the ring.

Lexi: Now making their way to the ring - the British Belle Arabella Townshend, the Shaolin Stunna Angelina Fantastica, from London to Staten Island to right here in Future Shock, they are the Shaolin Belles!

Both girls hop up onto the apron at the same time and they exchange a nod. While Angelina flips backwards over the top rope, Arabella steps through and joins her partner in the center of the ring. They go to pick opposite corners of the ring, climbing up onto the turnbuckles and waving to the fans, soaking in the cheers before they head to their corner to get ready for the match.

Zack: We got champions all over the ring here, don’t we? Angelina now knows who her next challenger for the Nova Championship will be, and then you got the woman who was voted by the fans as the Most Loved woman on the roster in Arabella.

Claire: There’s going to be an awful lot of gold and accolades on display in the main event tonight. These two are fan favourites for a reason and they’ve been wildly successful together. They’ll be a huge challenge for the Tag Champions here in New Jersey.

The curtain opens and Nadia Beaulieu and Alessandra Esposito appear as ‘Chase You Down’ begins to play around the arena.

Ooh Ooh
Don't let it slip away
Ooh Ooh
Don't let it get away

The two girls stand back to back, their championship belts around their waists, and make ‘guns’ with their fingers. The raise them up and move them side to side to take their aim until the finally find their target directly in front of them. In perfect unison they make a motion as if firing and then lower their ‘guns’ with a satisfied nod, turning to face the ring when they have.

Can you hear me right now
I got your number
And I'm callin' you out
With liquid courage
I can beat all my doubt
There's not another
So I'm chasin' you down

They both take off towards the ring at a run, with Nadia reaching it before Alessandra. Nadia climbs the steps, while Alessandra hops straight up onto the apron when she catches up.

Chasin' you down
Can you see me right now
I'm comin' closer
Think I figured you out
Not like the others
You don't blend with the crowd
I've blown your cover
Now I'm takin' you down
Takin' you down

Lexi: Introducing at this time, ALESSANDRA ESPOSITO and  the reigning Future Shock Diamond Champion NADIA BEAULIEU….Together they are the reigning Future Shock Tag Team Champions…......TARGET ACQUIRED!

Can you hear me right now
I got your number
And I'm callin' you out
With liquid courage
I can beat all my doubt
There's not another
So I'm chasin' you down
Chasin' you down

Nadia climbs up onto the turnbuckle while Alessandra hops up to sit on the top rope facing the ramp. Alessandra kicks her feet upwards to roll backwards into the ring landing on one knee. She keeps her head lowered as Nadia somersaults off the top turnbuckle to land on her feet behind her. The two make their finger ‘guns’ again, raising them to their mouths to blow the ‘smoke’ away before Alessandra gets to her feet and the two raise their titles above their heads. They make their way to their corner, sharing some last minute words as they await the start of the match.

Zack: That’s one hell of a ring announcement for Target Acquired. They won those tag titles at Relentless, and Nadia won her title at Global Wars. Not to mention she had her first successful defense of it on our last broadcast.

Claire: Nadia’s been very busy of late but that’s all part and parcel of being one of the most successful and decorated women in Future Shock. She’ll be razor sharp after her recent outings and we know that Alessandra is no slouch either, a former Future Shock Champion and someone who I’m sure is eager to get it back.

Before the match began, all four women met in the center and the teams shook hands with one another before returning to their corners. There was a little discussion on both sides before Nadia remained in the ring for her team, while Arabella remained for hers. The dueling chants began as well with “Let’s Go, Nadia” and “Let’s Go, Bella!” throughout the Oceanfront Arena.

Zack: Looks like we’re starting out with the high octane offense of the Diamond Champion in Nadia. And…what I can only describe as a whole lot of power from Arabella.

Claire: It’s a clash of styles but sometimes the best matches come from that. We’ll see who can assert their supremacy and get the upper hand for their team in the early stages of this contest.

The two met in the center of the ring in a tie-up, which Arabella quickly dominated as she pushed Nadia back into the ropes. The Brit immediately, and backed up. Another tie-up followed, and again Arabella overpowered the Diamond Champion. This time, she pushed her back into a neutral corner and broke. This time, Nadia held up her hands for the break before Arabella picked her up under her arms and hurled her to the mat. The blonde’s eyes widened as she sat up after impact, and was quickly dealt a running kick to her spine that froze her in place. Arabella scooped her around the waist off the mat in a deadlift, and lobbed her back into the same corner. Beaulieu’s back hit the corner before she stumbled forward into a high angle hip toss from the Brit.

Claire: Arabella’s showing us her strength here and Nadia is on the wrong end of it right now. She has to try and find an opening to use her speed.

Zack: She may not be the size of a Doomsday Sister or be jacked to the gills like some. But Arabella is deceptively strong, and we’re seeing that firsthand…and Nadia’s feeling it.

Nadia got back to her feet, only for Arabella to go for a rear waistlock. The champion countered into one of her own, but the brunette tried to catch her with a pair of back elbows. Beaulieu ducked both of them, and Arabella countered back into her own rear waistlock. She wasted no time in running Nadia chest first into the Belles’ corner, where she tagged in Angelina. Townshend grabbed a full nelson as her partner started laying in knife edge chops to Nadia’s chest. The Diamond Champion couldn’t block any of them before Arabella stepped out. Angelina tagged her back in before the pair executed a double vertical suplex. Angelina was only on the apron again for a second before Arabella tagged her once more. The Nova Champion stepped back in, only to get scooped up into a running powerslam by Arabella onto Nadia.

Claire: Excellent teamwork from the Belles. They’re working like a well oiled machine, chewing up the Diamond Champion and spitting her back out the other end.

Zack: You’re not kidding, Claire. Tags upon tags to go with it, and that’s the worst place possible for Nadia tonight: the Belles’ corner.

Angelina got back to her feet, pulling Nadia up with her before laying in a trio of forearms to the side of her head before tagging Arabella once again. The pair fired Nadia across to the far side, and scooped her up on the rebound with a flapjack before Arabella rolled across her with a leg hook for the cover.

Zack: The Belles aren’t looking to break a sweat tonight, and Arabella with the cover!

ONE!!!

TW-NO.

Nadia kicked out in time before the two landed, and Arabella quickly got back to her feet. The French beauty was almost to her feet when Arabella planted her head between her legs to set up for her spinning powerbomb…until the Diamond Champion immediately freed herself and backed up to the ropes.

Claire: Arabella looking to put the exclamation point on this and end the match quickly. But Nadia still has way too much about her, though she has to turn the tide sooner or later.

As Arabella went to grab her, Nadia ducked her arms and took off for the far side. When the Brit spun to face her and went for a boot to the chest, Nadia went into a baseball slide under that leg and popped up behind her. When Townshend turned around, Beaulieu surprised her with a jawbreaker! That staggered Arabella before the Diamond Champion began firing off a volley of kicks to the body. She finally drove Arabella to one knee, and took off for the far side to return with a spinning leg lariat to put her on the mat. The double champion went for the cover quickly.

Zack: That’s what Nadia needed to do! Bring that speed into play, and she’s ready to call it a night!

ONE!!!

TW-NO!

Nadia was boosted off the cover almost like she was on a trampoline. Arabella sat up, and immediately found herself in a bow and arrow submission with her arms pulled behind her.

Claire: An explosive flurry of offense from the Diamond Champion rocked Arabella and now this submission will continue to take some of the starch out of the powerhouse.

Nadia pulled back as much as she could, digging her knee between Arabella’s shoulders. Referee Kevin Fisk checked to see if the Brit wanted to stop the match, but she didn’t. Beaulieu tried to pull the arms back even more, but Arabella started to power out of it. The blonde’s grip shook as Arabella’s teeth gritted and she started pulling her hands together. When they clasped tightly, Nadia looked surprised but delivered a pair of elbows to the back of her neck. She hopped to her feet, and hit the near side ropes for a basement dropkick into Arabella’s chest to put her back on the mat.

Claire: Hugely impressive display of power right there. But Nadia recovered from the shock of being so thoroughly overpowered and used her speed to stay on top here.

Zack: Arabella definitely has plenty of gas left at the moment, and Nadia needs to stick and move. She’s doing just that now!

Another bounce off the ropes before a double stomp to Arabella’s body doubled her in half, and Nadia tagged in her partner. Then it was Alessandra who showed her power as she scooped Arabella onto her shoulders just as Nadia darted past her to drive her into the mat with a neckbreaker. The Italian tag champion landed multiple blows to Arabella’s back as she was getting up, then spun her around and upside down into a stalling vertical suplex. Esposito held her up for several seconds before bringing her down the hard way!

Zack: Now it’s power versus power, and Alessandra has plenty to spare! Not often Arabella gets that kind of treatment from an opponent.

Claire: Not at all. Alessandra has seen what Arabella is capable of and having bided her time on the apron as a spectator is ready to show that she doesn’t miss a day in the gym either.

She quickly scooped her feet under both arms, and catapulted the Brit chest first into her team’s corner. Arabella slumped over the top turnbuckle before Alessandra tagged her partner. The pair spun the brunette around, and began taking turns with chops to the chest. Esposito whipped her across to the far side, and popped her up on the rebound for Nadia to deliver a lungblower on the way down. She immediately went for the cover as Alessandra returned to the corner.

Zack: Look at that! The tag champions are every bit as good with their teamwork as the Belles!

ONE!!!

TWOO!!

Arabella kicked out at two, and Nadia dragged her back to her corner to tag Alessandra back into the match once again. Last year’s Global Wars winner rolled her over into a camel clutch submission.

Claire: We’re seeing right here why these are two of the best tag teams to have ever stepped into a Future Shock ring and why they are so beloved by the fans.

Arabella tried to pull Alessandra’s hands free from under her chin, but she found the tag champion’s grip too strong. Her fingers were fully locked as she leaned back on the hold, prompting the referee to ask about a submission. Arabella showed no interest in that, even though her face indicated otherwise with the pain etched across it. Angelina began rallying the crowd from her team’s corner, getting a loud chant for the Brit going. Arabella surveyed her location, and started kicking her feet until one of them landed across the bottom rope behind them. Fisk called for the break as Alessandra looked behind her to see why. Then she broke it.

Zack: That’s called knowing where you are in the ring at all times. A little too close to the ropes, and those long legs of Arabella found themselves a way out.

Claire: The knowledge of ring positioning comes with experience of simply being in there and competing. And a nice display of sportsmanship from Alessandra to break it without the referee needing to count her down.

Alessandra quickly got back to her feet, and saw Arabella starting to do the same. She delivered a trio of clubbing blows to her back before hooking her around the waist into a gutwrench suplex before making the cover.

Zack: Alessandra’s got Arabella in a pinning predicament after a flawless gutwrench suplex!

ONE!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

Again, Arabella kicked out and Alessandra got to her feet and waved her hand over her head like a tornado. And that got the New Jersey fans on their feet!

Claire: Arabella’s taking a little longer each time to kick out of the pinfalls and it seems as though Esposito is smelling blood in the water. She’s ready to put this one to bed here.

Esposito grabbed her feet under both arms, and the fans began making noise in anticipation of the giant swing. But Arabella brought her knees up, pulling the tag champion down to her and into a guillotine choke! Townshend wrapped her legs around Alessandra’s body as she began applying the pressure quickly, causing the Italian beauty to begin trying to grab onto anything she could find.

Zack: Look at that! Talk about deja vu, Claire! That’s the same move Sydney used to win her match with Alessandra to retain the Future Shock title!

Claire: Alessandra must be having flashbacks!! She knows better than ever that she has to find an escape because this has already put her to sleep once!!

The tag champion reached out for anything, though she was unable to see exactly what it was. She managed to grab the referee’s pant leg as Arabella locked her ankles behind Esposito’s back. The fans of the tag champions began trying to rally her as Alessandra grasped at anything but had yet to find the ropes since they were almost in the center of the ring.

Zack: There’s no ropes anywhere nearby! Alessandra’s gonna have to drag Arabella if she wants to get there….and that’s a lot easier said than done. Look how tight those legs are locked.

Claire: She’ll need all the power that she can muster even as this hold takes effect. Either that or she’d better hope and pray for a save from Nadia before it’s too late.

It did look as though Nadia were about to come in…until Alessandra….started to stand up! She wrapped her arms around Arabella’s body, and shakily got to her feet in an amazing display of power!

Zack: She’s doing the impossible!!

Arabella held on though before Esposito charged the corner, and drove Arabella back first into the turnbuckles. It broke the hold, and the Global Wars winner  collapsed onto her knees on the mat. But the problem was…it was the Belles’ corner they were in. And Arabella made the tag!

Claire: WOW!!! Pound for pound Alessandra might be the strongest woman in the company…but she’s in the wrong trenches right now and things might get a whole lot worse for her.

Angelina bounded over the top rope and took off for the far side ropes. Esposito finally got to her feet, only to get snared into a headscissors DDT from the Nova Champion. The fans of the Belles were roaring now as the New Yorker took off for the far side again. The tag champion only had gotten to her feet when Angelina blasted her with a bicycle kick to the chest that sent her into the Belles’ corner again.

Zack: Angelina is as fresh as she can be, and Alessandra is in major trouble right now!

Claire: There’s no way that she’d recovered from the guillotine choke and the Nova Champion has come in with the big guns blazing!

Fantastica took off with a running boot to Alessandra’s jaw as she slumped in the corner, snapping her head back. But the Staten Island champion ran in a semi-circle, and connected with another running boot to the jaw. The third trip ended with a jumping knee strike to the side of her head before Angelina yanked her out of the corner to stumble forward before climbing to the top rope behind her! Before she could turn around, Fantastica landed a backstabber from the top rope that bounced Alessandra off the mat before she landed and the cover followed that!

Claire: Alessandra’s had her bell well and truly rung!!!

ONE!!!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NO.

Nadia made the save with a double stomp to Angelina’s back to break up the cover, causing the Nova Champion to roll away. The referee quickly went to get Nadia back to her corner, as Angelina was back to her feet!

Zack: Nadia with the most timely save of the year right there! But it didn’t stop Angelina for long, she’s up again! I’m not sure Alessandra realizes where she is!

She was very animated in the corner as she waved for Alessandra to get up before she darted towards her in a sprint with her jumping neckbreaker. Fantastica immediately went for the cover once again.

Zack: PROTECT YA NECK….got every bit of it! We’re gonna have new #1 contenders!!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NO.

Alessandra’s shoulder sprung off the mat at the last possible second, causing the referee to stop the count. Nadia was halfway in the ring to break it up again before Angelina shook her head and got back to her feet.

Claire: Pure instinct from Alessandra! Her shoulder comes up and saves the match for the Tag Champs!! But she’s still in hostile waters and needs the tag desperately!!

The Nova Champion darted back to the corner, and immediately made her way to the top rope. The Belles’ fans were thunderous now as Angelina perched herself, while Alessandra barely stirred on the mat as Nadia had her hand out for a tag.

Zack: Angelina in the launch position, and I don’t have a clue what she has in mind! Neither does Alessandra, I’d wager!

Claire: If she lands this, I can’t see Alessandra kicking out! This could very well be an all or nothing gamble from the high flier!

Angelina launched into her corkscrew shooting star press that landed perfectly on contact! It brought the crowd to their feet as she went for the cover with both legs hooked!

Zack: There’s her old favorite….THE AVENGING ANGEL!!

ONE!!!!

Nadia hit the ring, and ran into a spear from Arabella this time before she could get to her partner.

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Fisk called for the bell as Angelina rolled off the cover, getting a roar from the fans as she got to her feet. The referee raised her and Arabella’s hands in victory.

Claire: Angelina landed all of it and Arabella was ready to cut off Nadia! Esposito was not going to kick out after that landing!

Lexi: Your winners by pinfall…………………THE SHAOLIN BELLES!!!

The girls embraced each other before Angelina was given back her Nova title. They both helped up Nadia and Alessandra, showing them respect before they climbed opposite corners in celebration.

Zack: In a recent promo, the Doomsday Sisters said that the interest in the tag titles has died since they lost the tag titles. I think you’re wrong, ladies! We got new number one contenders, and the Belles are back in the hunt!

Claire: It was a hard fought win for the Belles; they had to pull out all of the stops but they scored an impressive victory tonight. You ask me? The Tag Team Division and the Tag Title picture here in Future Shock has never been hotter!

Zack: 2 weeks from tonight on All Access….it’s FFW vs. Future Shock! Boston, we’re coming home!

The Belles continued their celebration in the ring as Future Shock faded off the air.
