Live from the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota
November 19, 2022

The sound of a belt lash is heard before the FFW logo appears on the screen, and then we see two halves of two faces. “Don’t Stop The Devil” by Dead Posey starts to play. One is the FFW Champion Kelly Kincaid looking as though she were ready to spit nails. The other half is Lacey’s face with a smirk etched across it as we see the history between both women dating back several years, including a glass being broken over Kelly’s head in SVW.

Mad Jack
Dressed in black
Gonna give Mama a heart attack

Another belt lash takes us to Sin & Sacrifice two years ago when the two women battered one another in a Chairs Match.

Say I'm not a sinner
But you make me a liar

Another last of the belt takes us to Coney Island showing Lacey and Kyle visiting the city and being clearly disgusted by what they find there as the walk through the streets.

I like the games we play
When you're inside my veins
No a little good
Don't stop the Devil

Another belt lash is heard before we see Lacey using Kyle’s belt on the FFW Champion at Breaking Point until Kelly gets possession of it and she bolts from the ring. The security separates them as Kelly’s husband makes them an offer.

If I go up in flames
Then just put me away
Cause a little good
Don't stop the Devil

Christian: Hey! If you want a shot at the champion, all you had to do was say so!

Hellbent
Left again
Ain't comin' back til' god knows when

The scene cuts back to Kelly , who looks to be seething as the question posed from her promo airs.

Kelly: How fucking stupid are you?

Lacey: You’re on borrowed time, Kel-Kel, because FFW is my world and you’re just living in it…

Another lash of the belt is heard before we go live inside the arena as pyrotechnics shoot up from the stage and the ring posts as Dead Posey’s song plays over the PA system. The crowd roars as they see themselves on television when the camera pans across them. Then we head down to Zack and Lexi at ringside standing in front of the broadcast booth.

Zack: Hello, everyone and welcome to the first ever FFW Red Alert here on FFW All Access! It’s the last stop in 2022 for the FFW roster, and we have a packed show with grudges and title matches to settle! I’m Zack Hudson and thank you for joining us wherever you are. And this is Future Shock’s favorite ring announcer, Lexi Carmichael. That’s her Tuesday job, at least.

Lexi: Man, what a night we have in store tonight! If you’ve got hats, hold onto them because it’s going to be a wild ride!

Zack: Our main event is a first ever strap match for the FFW Championship when Kelly KIncaid defends against Lacey in the latest round in what has been a years long rivalry! Lacey and Kyle goaded the champion into this one, and they got what they wanted. I’m just not sure they wanted it to be a strap match.

Lexi: With the way Kelly has held onto the FFW Championship since she won it, I think Lacey would be in for a long night whatever the stipulation to be honest. A strap match though… rather them than me!

Zack: The historic reign of Casey Atherton as the Evolution Champion could come to an end tonight when she meets Caitlyn Storm in a rematch from Breaking Point’s 200th episode! I know who you will be supporting for that one.

Lexi: No question at all, I’m backing Caitlyn all the way. She came close to dethroning Casey at Breaking Point 200 and I know she’s looking to end 2022 with a bang!

Zack: The No Surrender title is on the line as well when LIlly Arthur is challenged by Valerie McKinley. Like her or not, Valerie earned the shot by knocking off Diamond who was just trying to get a title shot for nothing.

Lexi: Just because Valerie is insufferable doesn’t make her any less talented and dangerous. I think Lilly is really going to have to dig deep to see off the challenge that Valerie’s bringing.

Zack: It’ll be a tag team grudge match with the winners earning a shot at the Midnight Storm. NHB meets VIcious & Vivacious, and that’s just the latest chapter in their rivalry that began when the Wicked Storm tried to unify all the tag titles.

Lexi: NHB are an amazing tag team and have proven time and time again just how well they work together… but we know just how dirty Vicious & Vivacious are willing to play to get what they want.

Zack: Future Shock will get its spotlight as always when we find out who will be the next challenger for the Nova Championship currently held by Madyson Stone. Lexi, who do you like when Fiona O’Dalaigh meets Arabella Townshend?

Lexi: There’s only one possible answer for me here, and tell me why it’s Arabella! I’m sure I won’t be alone in supporting Arabella in this one either.

Zack: Like I said, there’s a lot going down tonight on the FFW roster’s last show of 2022. So let’s send it up to the beautiful Kat Grayson!

The show cuts to the ring and finds Kat dressed in a very expensive looking dress as she smiles to the crowd and begins to speak into the microphone.

Kat: The following match is scheduled for one fall to a finish and it is a Tag Team Match with the winners becoming the number one contenders to the FFW Unity Tag Team Titles!!

Zack: I’ve been informed that the winner of this match will go onto Crossed Out early next year to challenge the Midnight Storm. I’ve got tag team specialist, Christian Kincaid, here for this one. Welcome to the booth.

Christian: Glad to be here. I’ve always had a fondness for tag team wrestling, so Lexi was nice enough to let me sit out and see this one personally.

“Deuce” by Kiss begins to play, Jem runs out of the back and onto the stage area, sprinting across to the far side and bouncing on the balls of her feet as she encourages the crowd to get a little louder. Charging across to the other side of the stage, she once more cheerleaders before heading back to the middle of the stage. Meeting her partner there the two girls double high five and turn it into a hug that breaks as Jem charges down to the ring, sliding underneath the bottom rope. Angela follows her down the ramp, slapping hands with fans. Jem pops up to her feet and makes a tour of the corners, climbing to the middle turnbuckle and throwing her hands into the air to get a cheer from the crowd before moving onto the next one. As Angela reaches the ring she walks hops up onto the apron and raises one clenched fist in the air before she enters the ring and walks to the NHB corner to await the start of the match.

Kat: Approaching the ring at a combined weight of 306 lbs, the team of Jem Michaels and Angela Hinchcliffe...NO HOLDING BACK!!!

Zack: With the incredible run these two women have had, they have to be the favorites going into this match. And we know they’d give Mila and Caitlyn a very long night at the office.

Christian: I’d rank NHB among the best to ever do it, at least of all the teams I’ve seen. They are an incredible pairing.

“I Don’t Wanna Stop” by Ozzie Osbourne starts playing in the arena causing the fans to get to their feet and look toward the entrance. As soon as Dante Knox emerges the fans begin to boo loudly causing Dante to throw a fit and yell at the fans to show respect to their superiors.

“Vivacious” Vee and Michelle Storm emerge from the back and walk over to Dante to get him to calm down as he is still arguing with the fans. The three of them start making their way down the aisle to the ring.

Kat: Making their way down the aisle accompanied by their manager Dante Knox….

This causes Dante sucks chants to start that upsets Dante again as Vee puts her hands over his ears

KAT: Weighing in at a combined 245 lbs the team of “Vivacious” Vee and Michelle Storm collectively known as VICIOUS and VIVACIOUS!!!!!!!!!

Dante gets on the ring apron and sits on the ropes holding them open for Vee and Michelle who then enter the ring. Both ladies climb separate corners and play to the crowd who boos them mercilessly as Dante yells at the crowd and takes the mic from Kat.

Dante: Everybody here should get on their knees and show the proper respect to two women who are your better in every single way!!!

This only causes the boo’s to become even louder. Vee and Michelle finally go to a corner where Dante gives them last minute instructions.

Zack: I’d like to let the truck know that anytime Dante has the microphone, you’re more than welcome to cut it off.

Christian: I wouldn’t mind that. Many is the time I’d have been happy to knock Dante out free of charge.

Which saw Vee and Michelle charge across the ring towards Jem and Angela as the Englishwomen were huddled up in their corner discussing strategy. NHB, though, saw them coming, Angela darting out of the corner and meeting Michelle with a clothesline that sent her down to the mat while Jem caught Vee with a drop toe hold that sent her face first into the middle turnbuckle. Michelle scrambled back to her feet and as she did so, Angela met her coming back to her feet with a series of heavy right hands to the side of the head, Storm firing back with shots into the stomach, the pair turning around as they exchanged blows. Meanwhile in the corner, Vee pushed herself upright, holding her face with her hands and as she did so, Michaels caught her with a double knee strike to her back, sending her chest first into the turnbuckle pads. Stephen Wilson trying to get one member of each time out of the ring to start the match.

Zack: The referee’s already trying to restore order and we’ve barely begun the match! I remember the last time NHB faced Michelle but it was a tag match with Kristina in Future Shock. NHB won that night too!

Christian: I remember that night, it was in Future Shock. The Storm definitely stepped into it that night, but we can’t compare that to now. Different partner for Michelle, after all.

As she staggered backwards, Angela was getting the upper hand on Michelle, snapping her head back with a European uppercut before she jerked her forwards, wrapping her arms around her waist as Jem applied a rear waistlock to Chandler and together, snapped off suplexes - Angela hurling Storm into the corner with a belly to belly suplex, her back striking the turnbuckles as she slumped down onto her shoulders on the mat; Jem using a release German to send Vee back towards the middle of the ring. Chandler hit the mat and immediately sat up, rolling to the side and coming to her feet only for both members of NHB to hold hands as they ran her over with a double clothesline, sending her down to the mat. Quickly Hinchcliffe slammed on the brakes and used her grip on her partner to Irish whip her back into the NHB corner, Jem launching herself into a cannonball senton into Storm as she was still slumped in the corner.

Zack: Jem likes to keep the pace quick, stick and move as much as possible before she brings in the clean-up hitter we know as Angela.

Christian: If I’m either half of V&V, Angela is the last person I want involved in this match. In a perfect scenario for them, Jem never gets to tag out once.

Jem came back to her feet as Angela was lighting up Vee’s chest with a series of knife edge chops, backing her up into the ropes before sending her in for the ride. As Chandler bounced back towards Angela, the powerhouse half of the former Unity Tag Team champions lifted her up for a flapjack and as she fell backwards, Jem came charging forwards to catch the falling Vee with a stunner. It saw the Vivacious bounce as she landed on the canvas and roll over onto her back, Jem making the cover and hooking the leg as Angela headed towards the corner, calling for the bell as she told Wilson to do the same, which he did when the powerhouse stepped through the ropes then dove into place to make the count.

Christian: This is where the massive chemistry and tag team history advantage comes in!

One…

Two…

…THRE–

Zack: We almost saw the end of the match right there, Christian. Like I said, I think NHB have to be the favorites here!

Before the count could be completed, Michelle dove forwards and crashed the point of her elbow into the back of Jem’s head at the same moment as Vee kicked out of the pinfall. Angela went to step back into the ring, only for the referee to stop her as Michelle began to throw forearms into the side of Jem’s head from her knees before she pulled her up to her feet and rocked the high flying half of NHB with a headbutt across her nose. It saw Jem take a step backwards, but that only allowed her to unload with a savate kick to the underside of Michelle’s jaw, freezing her up momentarily and as it did so, Jem grabbed hold of the back of Storm’s head and made for the ropes, building up momentum which she used to hurl her opponent over the top and to the floor. However, as she turned back around, Vee Chandler was lying in wait, delivering a heart punch to the former Unity Champion, following it up with a roundhouse kick to the side of her head. It wobbled Michaels, causing her to drop to one knee and before she could recover, Chandler hooked her head and spiked her down on the top of her skull with a DDT that flipped the Englishwoman over to her back. Vee rolled over to lay across her chest, raising her arm into the air to count along with the referee as the crowd booed her.

Zack: This cover isn’t going to accomplish anything at all.

One…

Tw–

Christian: Not a thing, a totally wasted effort.

Jem rolled her shoulder to break up the cover and found herself pulled up to her feet where Chandler caught her with a knee to the gut before sending her barrelling across the ring and into the Vicious and Vivacious corner, charging in after her and catching her with a stinger splash. Vee stepped backwards as she landed on her feet, using one hand to wave her opponent forwards and as Jem took a step forwards, the Vivacious one slapped the taste out of her mouth before she grabbed hold of her hair in both hands and sent the English woman down to the canvas with a hair beal. The referee started to reprimand the former manager for her actions and was completely ignored by her as she pulled Jem back up to her feet with two handfuls of hair once more and jerked her into the corner where she started to slam her face first into the top turnbuckle. She did it five times before she pulled her backwards and then jerked her down and slammed her face into the middle turnbuckle. Again, Michaels face met the middle pad five times before Vee took her down to the bottom turnbuckle and Chandler stepped up onto the bottom rope, pressing her boot against the back of her opponent’s head, forcing her face into the pad, using it to smother her, causing Jem to kick her feet against the mat as she struggled to get air.

Christian: Vee knows how to skirt around what the referee is doing, she’s had a long history of showing she can bend the rules.

Zack: She’s got a lot of class, and all of it is low.

Stephen Wilson called for the break and started the count, getting to four before Vee stepped off and got into the referee’s face which allowed Michelle in the corner to step up onto the bottom rope and press her foot against the back of Jem’s head, keeping her face buried against the stuffing of the pad, Michaels once more kicking her feet against the canvas as she struggled to breath. Storm stepped off a moment before the referee’s discussion with Vee came to an end. Chandler stepped forwards once more and made the tag to Michelle, Storm immediately starting to climb to the top rope as the Vivacious one wrapped her arms around Jem’s midsection, jerking her upwards and used a gutwrench slam to drive her down into the mat, stepping back into the corner as Storm came off the top rope with an elbow drop. As the Sin City native rolled away, Vee pushed up onto the middle rope and leapt off to deliver a leg drop to the chest of the English woman. Vee rolled out of the ring as Storm landed a double knee drop to Jem’s body before making the cover while on the outside Dante raised Vee’s hand in triumph.

Zack: Michelle with a bit more serious of a cover than Vee had, let’s see if has any more success.

One…

Two…

…THR–

Christian: Jem got out of there in the nick of time,

Jem rolled her shoulder once more and Michelle pulled her back to her feet, shoving her back into the corner where she lowered her shoulder and drove four shoulder thrusts into her midsection as Vee came back onto the apron. After four shoulder thrusts to the guy, Storm stepped back and made the tag to her partner before she grabbed hold of the top rope and raised her boot, pressing it against Jem’s throat as Chandler quickly entered the ring and launched a volley of kicks into Michael’s stomach as she was gasping for breath and trying to push the boot away while Wilson called for the break, telling Michelle to leave the ring as he made the count, getting to four before the Vicious and Vivacious member lowered her boot, stepped back and along with her partner brought Jem out of the corner with a big modified double hip toss as they brought the Englishwoman down spine first across their bent knees.

Zack: For a team who hasn’t really been a team all that long, Vee and Michelle certainly do have their own skill sets that you don’t usually find in teams this new.

Christian: Well they have been working together for a lot longer than they have been teaming, so it’s pretty easy to have that chemistry just out of familiarity.

Jem landed on her ass, sat up as Storm delivered a stiff kick to her spine causing her to freeze up a moment as she finally left the ring which allowed the Vivacious one to snap off a rolling neckbreaker, sending Michaels back to the mat. The NHB member held her neck as she rolled to her knees and started to come back to her feet only to get her face spiked back into the canvas as Chandler used a two handed bulldog. As soon as she landed the Englishwoman started to push upwards, making it to all fours before she found her head hooked by the legal half of Vicious and Vivacious. The blonde pulled her the rest of the way and instantly went to lift her into a snap suplex only for Michaels to ghost behind her as she was lifted off her feet and rushed the former manager into the ring ropes, bouncing off them and into an O’Connor roll. But Michaels continued to roll through the pinfall, using the momentum to bring Vee back up and into a German suplex.

Zack: Look at the agility of Jem! I thought she was going for a roll up, but boy was I wrong!

Christian: Jem’s like a cat, and has some fantastic instincts in there. Agility is super important for her skill set.

Both wrestlers took a moment before they started to rise to their feet and as they did, Jem caught her opponent with a double palm thrust into her stomach, following it up with a single knee facebreaker. It sent Chandler reeling backwards into the ropes and quickly Michaels jumped up onto her shoulders and sent the blonde across the ring with a headscissors takedown. Coming back to her feet, she headed to her corner to make the tag which the referee didn’t see as Storm entered the ring, Wilson cutting her off as she did so. Angela and Jem both made towards Vee, the two pulling her upwards and straight into a double suplex before both members of NHB came back to their feet and Jem caught her with a kick to the chest, while Angela delivered a kick to the spine simultaneously as Vee sat up. Michelle stepped out of the ring and the official turned to spot Angela pulling Chandler upright only for Wilson to step between them, sending the powerhouse half of NHB back to the corner.

Christian: NHB works together like well oiled machinery, don’t they?

Zack: Without a doubt, not surprising with as long as they’ve been together.

Angela argued the tag was made as she retreated to the corner, the official telling her that he didn’t see it. Hinchcliffe shook her head and as she was being shepherded back to the corner. Jem measured Vee as she was rising to her feet before she took off towards the ropes. As Michaels hit them, Storm lashed out with a kick, catching the high flier with the toe of her boot into her kidney area, stopping her dead as Hinchcliffe stepped out onto the apron, grabbing hold of the tag rope as she did so.. Jem took a moment before she suddenly left her feet and caught Storm with an enzuigiri to the face. Michelle almost fell to the floor - saved only by having her arm hooked around the top rope as Jem took off and caught the former manager with a dropkick to the chest, sending her back into the ropes. Chandler bounced off the ropes as the Englishwoman was getting back to her feet and delivered a forearm to her jaw. Jem took the blow before she turned and headed towards the ropes, hitting them once more and this time she stumbled forwards as she came off them, thanks to Dante grabbing at her ankle from the outside before nonchalantly heading back to the Vicious and Vivacious corner; the crowd booing him loudly. As Jem tried to find her balance, Vee stepped forwards, leaping towards the former Unity Champion and delivered a jumping DDT.

Zack: Nicely executed by Vee. She might be the  most successful manager to transition into wrestling that I’ve seen.

Christian: I won’t argue that. It usually works the other way around, like with me. But I’m pretty sure she always trained with them when she was only managing.

Vee rolled to the side and reached up to make the tag to Storm. Quickly Michelle entered the ring and charged forwards, delivering a punt kick to the side of Michael’s head as she pushed up onto all fours. Quickly Storm started to stomp away at the body of the high flier before she lifted her up off her feet and dropped her stomach first over the top rope. The English wrestler hung over the top rope as Storm started to shake it underneath her, bouncing her up and down on the rope before she sent her flipping head over heels and back into the ring. Jem took a moment before she sat up only to find that Michelle was charging across the ring, coming back to catch her with a running knee strike to her jaw, knocking Michaels back to the mat before Storm dropped across her to make the cover.

Zack: You could call that a knee-KO right there, and it might be over!

One…

Two…

…TH–

Christian: That looked like it did a lot of damage, Jem managed to withstand it though.

Jem rolled her shoulder once more and Michelle punched the mat in anger, glaring at the referee as she asked for the three count only to be shown the two by Wilson. Storm berated him as she pulled her foe up from the canvas and straight into a piledriver, dropping the Englishwoman on her head and letting her fall to the mat before she made the cover once again.

Zack: Jem may not even be conscious right now after that piledriver,, we’ll find out in less than 3 seconds!

One…

Two…

…THR–

Christian: Closest fall of the whole match right there. NHB has to turn this tide.

Again Michaels got her shoulder up from the mat in the nick of time, just as Angela was about to enter the ring and dive in to break up the cover only for the powerhouse to step back out again. Once more Michelle stared daggers at the official, punching the mat in frustration as the two count was shown to her, demanding the three but the referee refused, confirming the two count to her again. Storm advanced towards him as she made it to her feet, a furious look on her face as she slapped her hands together three time demandingly, asking him if he could count to three. While Wilson continued to try to explain the shoulder came up in time, Jem began to move, crawling towards her corner. It prompted both Vee and Dante to move down the ring, trying to get Michelle’s attention back on Jem as she neared the corner while Angela was rallying the crowd, slapping the top turnbuckle and reaching as far over the top rope and into the ring as she could. Just as Jem got close, Storm turned towards her and moved fast, grabbing hold of Michaels by the ankle and pulled her back across the ring before she dropped an elbow into the small of Jem’s back.

Zack: That’s a veteran move right there. Isolating your opponent and dragging them back if they get too close to home.

Christian: Tag team wrestling 101, and the first thing I teach when I manage a tag team.

Michelle shook her head, telling Michaels they were going to get the Unity title shot as she again pulled her up to her feet and sent her stumbling back into the Vicious and Vivacious corner with a headbutt. Vee stepped down the ring apron, holding her hands up to demonstrate to the referee that she wasn’t getting involved as Storm charged forwards and caught the NHB member with a running European uppercut before she pulled her out of the corner, scooping her off her feet and drove her upside down, back first into the turnbuckle pads then hung her up in a tree of woe. Storm backed up to the middle of the ring, grinning and flipping the bird at Angela before she sprinted forwards and drove both of her knees into Jem’s body, rolling back up to her feet quickly and started to stomp away at Jem’s chest as she hung upside down in the corner. The referee called for the break and reached four before the Vicious half of the team stepped back, giving the official break only to step straight back into the corner and press her boot against Jem’s throat, choking her out as she hung upside down.

Zack: Michelle is as vicious as they come, I suppose that’s where her half of the team name came from. I’d buy that before I’d ever consider Vee vivacious though. I think she got that from DOC.

Christian: Yeah, well DOC marches to the beat of his own drum. Always has. He’s welcome to her. I think he likes Fiona too, so..there’s that.

Again the referee called for the break and made the count, reaching four before Storm stepped back once more, this time circling around the ring towards the NHB corner where she seemed to measure Jem up once more, only to spin suddenly and tag Angelina with a discus right hand to the jaw. Storm started to trash talk Hinchcliffe as she made to enter the ring, the referee holding her back as Michelle continued to badmouth her, telling her to come take her best shot. As the referee was distracted, Dante grabbed hold of Jem’s hair on the outside, pulling back on her head as Chandler stepped through the ropes and delivered rapid fire kicks into her body. Michelle continued to antagonize Angela for another couple of seconds before she turned and quickly crossed the ring, joining her partner in stomping away at Jem while the other half of NHB tried to get the referee to turn around before she finally started to leave the ring, Dante letting Vee know so that she too could step through the ropes to the apron a moment before the referee could turn around, Dante stepping away from the corner looking innocent, and hushing the fans as they booed the three loudly.

Zack: What a creepy little twerp Knox is! I wouldn’t believe him if his tongue came notarized.

Christian: I’m still very happy to knock him out, if anyone in the back wants to give me the signal. I can do it and be right back.

As the referee came across and again told Michelle to let up on Jem so that she could free herself, Storm stepped to the side and stared sweetly at Angela as she held her hand up and Vee tagged herself in, the referee signaling it to make it official. As Chandler stepped through the ropes, Storm pulled Jem upwards and began to manhandle her up till she was sitting on the top turnbuckle, Vee helping her partner muscle her up as the pair climbed the ropes. As both members of Vicious and Vivacious made it to the top, they went to lift their opponent upwards and into position for a double back superplex only for Michaels to keep hold of the turnbuckle arm with one hand as she started to land blows with the other; driving fists into Vee’s gut and chops to Storm’s stomach.

Zack: Look at Jem throwing those hands and taking them both on here!

Christian: Adrenaline is a wonderful thing. She’s like a revolving door gone nuts!

It slowed the two former SVW Tag Team Champions down, Jem starting to deliver the blows faster and faster as the crowd rallied behind her. As Storm and Chandler reached for the ropes to steady themselves, Jem reached up and hooked both of their heads, rising up and pushing off the turnbuckle arm as she flipped backwards off the top rope, bringing both members of Vicious and Vivacious down to the mat with a Shiranui. The three landed and lay motionless for a moment before Jem’s body spasmed and then lay lifeless, the referee checked on all three of them before he started the count. As Wilson made it to five, Vee and Storm started to stir, sitting up as Jem pushed to all fours, looking around her as Angela stomped her feet and pounded the top turnbuckle. The referee reached seven as Jem started to crawl towards a neutral corner while Michelle and Vee helped each other to their feet, each holding their backs and went towards Michaels. As they got close, Jem used the ring ropes in the corner to pull herself to a vertical base, the referee waving off the count at eight. The high flier ducked as Vicious and Vivacious tried to grab hold of her, rolling towards her partner in the corner and dove at full stretch to make the tag as Michelle and Vee were moving quickly after her, slamming on the brakes as the referee indicated the tag and holding up their hands.

Zack: They tried to stop her…but they were a day late and a dollar short! Here comes Angela!

Christian: Like I said at the outset, she is the last one you want getting into this match. Too late now.

It was all for naught as Angela half stepped through the ropes, placing her foot on the bottom rope and launched herself forwards to take both Storm and Chandler down with a double clothesline. As soon as they hit the mat, the two members of Vicious and Vivacious started to rise, making it to their feet and both caught a pair of jabs to the jaw in quick succession. Another two pairs of jabs found their target before Angela slammed their heads together with a meeting of the minds. Vee fell backwards to the canvas, while Storm dropped down to one knee, holding her head as she did so only for Angela to pull Michelle upwards and into an Atomic Drop that sent her towards the ropes before she fell through them to the outside. Dante moved quickly around to check on Michelle, helping her up to her feet while in the ring, Hinchcliffe caught the Vivacious one with an elbow to the side of the jaw as she used the ropes in the NHB corner to come to her feet. A second elbow followed that before Angela jerked her out of the corner and into position for the powerbomb stepping quickly towards the ring ropes and hurled Chandler over the top rope with the powerbomb into Dante and Michelle causing them to land in a heap on the outside.

Zack: Angela just picked up the 7-10 split! She wiped them all out with one big launch!

Christian: It’s like someone dropped a boulder on them, only it was flesh and bone that squashed them.

Angela circled the ring, waving her arms to encourage the fans to get loud as the Vicious and Vivacious trio started to pull themselves on the outside. Jem made it to her feet and staggered towards her partner, looking at their opponent on the outside and seemed to direct traffic, Hinchcliffe nodding her head as she lifted Jem high up into the air for a Gorilla Press Slam, throwing the high flier into Vicious and Vivacious on the outside, sending all four of them down into a heap once more. Jem took a couple of moments to pull herself upwards using the ring skirt before she slid underneath the bottom rope and back into the ring where she came to her feet and high fived Angela. Again on the outside, the Vicious and Vivacious members were starting to rise and as they did so, Jem took off across the ring, Angela catching her on the way back with a back body drop that sent Michaels high up into the air as she crashed down into them once more with a senton, causing them to again crash to the floor in a pile.

Zack: When NHB starts rallying, it’s damn hard to stop them! Jem getting the heave ho treatment from her partner!

Christian: Well she does like to fly, and isn’t too bothered if it’s her partner using her like a weapon in the process.

This time Jem was quicker to her feet, pulling Michelle up to her feet as she seemed to be asking the official if Michelle was the legal woman, getting a ‘No’ from Wilson which saw Michaels shove her backwards before crashing a superkick into Storm’s jaw, causing her to fall back against the crowd barricade before she turned back to Vee, pulling her up and rolling her back into the ring at Angela’s feet. Jem headed back to the corner as Angela pulled Vee up to her feet with a smile on her face and backed her up to the ropes, shooting her across the ring to catch her on the return with a spinning spinebuster that drove her down into the mat. Quickly Angela made the cover on her foe, hooking the leg as she did so.

Zack: What a spinebuster! That’s gonna do it!

Christian: Vee got out of it though, she has remarkable resilience.

Vee kicked out and rolled to the side, pushing up onto her elbow as she did so. Angela nodded her head as the referee showed her the three count and pulled Chandler up to her feet, walking her back into a neutral corner with a series of European uppercuts to the jaw. As she got the former manager backed up, Angela delivered three knee lifts into her midsection before she fired her across the ring into the opposite corner. The powerhouse followed in close behind her, launching herself into a splash into the corner. Vee slumped down and Angela turned and headed for the ropes nearest to the NHB corner once more, Jem tagging herself in as Hinchcliffe hit them, the powerhouse ignoring the tag as she came off the ropes and caught Chandler with a big boot to the jaw. The Vivacious one was only upright in the corner thanks to the ropes and Angela pulled her out by the wrist, jerking her towards her and sending her up high into the air for the pop up Samoan drop. Hinchcliffe rolled out and as she did, Jem leapt from the apron to the top rope and came off with a springboard into a five star frog splash, landing it perfectly across her opponent’s body. Jem bounced up and held her ribs for a moment before she made the cover and hooked the leg again.

Christian: Picture perfect frog splash but that hurts you like it does your opponent!

…THRE—

Zack: Thai is it, this is—THAT LITTLE PIECE OF GARBAGE!

Vee didn’t move a muscle but at the last possible second, Dante grabbed hold of the referee’s foot and pulled him out of ring, arguing with him and demanding that he reprimand NHB for their constant and repeated targeting of him; that he was a well respected man and a national hero in Canadian and this repeated inaction could well become an international incident that might lead to war between the two nations - one that the USA would surely lose against the glorious nation of Canada. The referee glared at him before he started to read him the riot act, waving for security to take him out of here…but before security could make it down the aisle to ringside, Jem grabbed hold of the top rope and hopped onto the middle, swinging through the ropes to wrap her legs around Knox’s head and use a headscissors takedown to send him into the ring steps.

Christian: Can we give Jem a bonus? Because damn, she deserves to get bonused for that!

Zack: That belongs on a highlight reel, and couldn’t have happened to a more deserving man!

Jem and the official slid back into the ring as Chandler started to recover and crawl towards her empty corner only for Michaels to shake her head as she grabbed hold of her foot and pulled her back towards the NHB corner. When she was close enough she made the tag to Angela, the powerhouse stepping through the ropes as Jem gave the sign to the crowd that it was time to end it and made the title belt motions around their waist. Hinchcliffe bent down to pull Vee up from the canvas, getting her to her feet before she lifted her onto her shoulders as Jem climbed to the top rope. As soon as Vee was sat on Angela’s shoulders, she seemed to come to life, driving the point of her elbow into the top of her foe’s head, causing her to stumble back a step as Michelle scrambled up from one knee on the floor, clambering onto the apron and shoved Jem off the turnbuckle, causing her to crash into the crowd barrier before Vee spiked Angela down on the top of her head with a frankensteiner.

Zack: Oh no, Jem landed on the barricade and Angela just got splatted head first!

Christian: Neither of those are fun places to land, Zack! This is not how NHB foresaw things going at all.

Vee rolled over onto her hands and knees taking a couple of seconds to recover as Angela held her head on the mat and Michelle was leaning against the ropes in the NHB corner while Jem was laid on the floor, a look of pain on her face where she had fallen after crashing into the crowd barrier. As Hinchcliffe started to rise, Vee forced herself to her feet, waving Michelle into the ring with her. Wilson tried to stop Storm, telling her to return to her own corner only for her to push past him as she headed towards the far ropes, bouncing off them and as the legal half of NHB made it to one knee, she launched herself into a high knee to the side of the head as Chandler fired off a side kick into the opposite side of her head. Together, both members of Vicious and Vivacious pulled Angela up to her feet and straight into the Jaw Crushing Finale - a double Eat Defeat. Hinchcliffe stumbled and fell backwards into the ropes, bouncing off them and as she did, Michelle lifted her up off her feet, stepping backwards and Chandler took off across the ring and completed the Vicious Storm - Hart Attack Clothesline – the pair using the move to drive the back of the powerhouse’s head into the canvas. Quickly Vee made the cover, hooking both legs as she did so, while Storm dropped down onto her back as the referee slid into position for the count. On the outside, Dante was backing on his feet, looking at Jem who was still on the floor after her bad fall and raised his fist into a fighting stance to run interference.

Christian: Someone knock him out, please! Hey, wait a second!

One…

Two…

…THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Zack: I don’t….Did I see what I think I just saw?!

The referee called for the bell and Michelle pushed up off her partner to her feet, before helping Vee up  while Dante headed towards the nearest set of ring steps and climbed up them to enter the ring. As soon as he did he demanded the referee raise their hands which Stephen Wilson did.

Kat: Here are your winners, and new number one contenders to the FFW Unity Tag Team Titles… the team of Michelle Storm and “Vivacious” Vee Chandler…. VICIOUS AND VIVACIOUS!!!!

Zack: All three of them should go out and pick up a lottery ticket, because no way in hell was that not being lucky right there!

Christian: If I had bet on this match, I’d have just lost a lot of money. I’m with you, Zack. I didn’t see this coming, but….here we are.

The pair snatched their hands away and snarled at the referee, as they started to tell the crowd they’d be the next Unity Champions only for Dante to look down at Angela for a moment before he interrupted their celebration and requested they remove the trash from their ring. The crowd booed the winners even louder as they pulled Angela upwards and shoved her towards the ring ropes, catching her with matching superkicks which saw her lean back but not go over the top - not until Vee and Michelle grabbed a leg each and sent her tumbling backwards to the outside. The fans continued to boo loudly as Dante raised their hands once more before they started to make title motions around their waist. The official went to check on Jem and Angela as the show cut elsewhere.

Cardiff Bound

We see a quick commercial for some of the locations that FFW will be visiting in 2023 around the country and then we see the reigning Phoenix Champion backstage, who is quickly joined by Jake. He takes a seat next to her with some papers in his hand.

Jake: Mara, big news!

He nodded towards the papers he was holding.

Jake: But first, how are you? And congratulations on retaining your title recently against Mikayla!

Mara: Hi Jake, I’m doing good thanks. You? Thank you. Mikayla was one of my tougher opponents. I’m sure she’ll be back and challenging for the title again very, very soon. So what’s the big news? Something in those papers that you’ve got there? Did you manage to swipe something off a desk?

Jake: No, I printed out an email I got showing all of the places we’ll be visiting around the country starting in January. And you’re on the first show of the new year in a title defense!

Mara: Awesome!! Are we going to be going somewhere nice for the first show of the year? Who do I get to face to start 2023 off with a bang? In the biggest way possible? I mean, they do say that you should start as you mean to go on a successful title defence would be one heck of a way to start off.

Jake: I don’t know if you’ve ever been there before, but our first stop in January is the Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff, Wales.

Mara: I’ve never had the pleasure of visiting Wales. Or the UK at all. Maybe I might fly across early, get some time to go see all those sights. Like, maybe visit London. Perhaps call in at Glastonbury and Stonehenge. Go see a real life Castle. That’d be fun, you know.

Jake: It does sound fun. Since you asked, you’ll be defending your title against Rebecka Hate who earned it when she defeated Cait right before the number one contender match with Mikayla. Kinda like how it started this year, isn’t it?

Mara: It is. And it should be one heck of a match. Rebecka hits hard and she’s a real powerhouse. I can totally understand why she was an SVW Champion and an SVW Hall of fame wrestler. She deserves a chance to face me one on one for the title too, without Stacey being involved. That’s a challenging way to get the year started but I’m looking forwards to it and I’ll do everything that I can to make sure I leave Wales with the Phoenix Championship.

Jake; Next stop after that, Scotland! I don’t have that card yet, but I think you’ll like Scotland too. You’ll certainly have to develop an ear for the accents.

Mara: I guess that might take a little practice but I’m sure once I’m over there, I might be able to pick them up. Scotland has always seemed like a fairly interesting place too. Lot’s of history and fun things there to do.

Jake pointed towards the monitor not far from where they were sitting.

Jake: Wanna watch Arabella’s match with Fiona for a Nova title shot with me? Probably not a secret, but I’m pulling for Arabella.

Mara: Not a secret or a surprise. And I don’t think you’re in the minority at all. Probably the overwhelming majority actually. Fiona’s not really the most beloved person to have ever wrestled in FFW is she?

Jake: Only by her two flunkies maybe.

As they turned their attention towards the monitor, the show went back into the arena for the match.

The show returns to the ring as we see Lexi stepping through the ropes and heading to the center to begin the introductions.

Zack: It’s time for our Future Shock Spotlight match we’ve been having on major FFW events this year. We’re about to see who will challenge Future Shock’s Nova Champion next. I’m here with my broadcast partner on Tuesday nights, Claire Black.

Claire: Hi Zack and hello to all the fans out there, it’s good to be out here on Red Alert for what should be one heck of a match as we try to determine the next person to try to dethrone Madyson Stone and end her highly impressive reign as Champion.

Lexi: The following contest is the Future Shock Spotlight match scheduled for one fall to a finish with a 20 minute time limit. The winner of this match will be the next challenger for the Nova Championship.

“Pour It Up” by Rihanna begins to play loudly all throughout the arena. As it does we are able to see Fiona walking from the back joined by Kyle Kilmeade. Fiona is holding an umbrella in her hand and she pops it open. As it does, 100 dollar bills begin to flow from the ceiling.

Lexi: Ladies and gentlemen making her way to the ring being accompanied by Kyle Kilmeade weighing in at 130 pounds from Belfast, North Ireland representing the Motor City Maidens, she is “The Weather Girl” “The Self Proclaimed Innovator of Moonsaults” Fiona O’Dalaigh!!

She uses the umbrella to keep them from hitting her. Fiona twirls her umbrella in circles and laughs at the fans booing her as Kyle tells her to ignore them.. She slides into the ring and gives Kyle her umbrella. She pulls down on her booty shorts a bit, spanking on her ass as she waits for the match to start.

Zack: For those of you who may not watch the show, you should and I’ll let Claire get you up to speed on Fiona here. But our fans will be happy to know that the rest of the Motor City Maidens have been barred from ringside for this match.

Claire: Some of our fans might remember Fiona…or might even remember her from her stint on SVW quite a while back. She’s the same girl she was then, pretty much, still comes out with her umbrella and is proud to be a wrestling weathergirl. And she’s absolutely deadly inside the ring if given the chance or if she gets to use that umbrella.

Zack: She’ll also be part of the Future Shock event this Tuesday night, the Sin City Spectacular,  on All Access when she joins the Maidens against the Laurie Jane Experience and your bestie, Serafina. The Maidens have been a pain in her ass for months now.

Claire: Ever since the pool party where they handcuffed her to a door backstage and laid the boots into her and then doubled down and tried - unsuccessfully thanks to the LJE - to stop her from making it out for the finals of the Future Shock Cup.

The sounds of "Rebel Yell" by Billy Idol begin to play as purple strobe lights flash on the darkened stage. A woman starts to rise up from under the stage with her back to the crowd before looking over her shoulder with a smile.

Last night a little dancer, came dancin' to my door
Last night a little angel, came pumping on my floor
She said come on baby, you got a license for love

The fans give her a very warm response as she bounces down the stage to the music, greeting several fans along ringside and even taking selfies with a couple before rolling under the bottom rope. She shucks off her ring jacket as the lights come up.

Lexi: Introducing from London, England....please welcome....ARABELLA TOWNSHEND!!

Arabella gives Lexi a little hip bump as she passes her, and climbs up onto the turnbuckle to rally the fans as her music fades out.

Zack: Unlike her opponent, there’s a lot to like about Arabella. She was voted the Most Loved in the Future Shock Awards this year. She kicks like a mule. She’s half of the Shaolin Belles, who have held Future Shock’s tag titles. And Arabella feels she has unfinished business with the Nova title and hopes to regain it.

Claire: Arabella’s held an interest in the Nova Championship pretty much since its inception. Since then she’s also formed a highly successful alliance with Angelina Fantastica to claim the Future Shock Tag Team Championships, but I’m sure tonight, she’ll want to put down Fiona and go on to regain singles gold from Madyson Stone in the new year.

Zack: There’s a rumor that after finding out that the Maidens were barred from ringside that Fiona demanded Jake be barred from ringside. For those who don’t know, Jake is Arabella’s boyfriend and save one time, he has never gotten involved in her matches.

Claire: And to be fair, when he did it was only to show off his right hook and lay out an obviously biased referee. I don’t think he’d want to get all that involved with two trained wrestlers like the Sullivan sisters.

Referee Stephen Wilson called for the bell before the two started circling briefly. But as they were about to lock up, Arabella held up one finger and headed towards Fiona’s corner. She snatched up the umbrella before Kyle could grab it, and then broke it over her knee. It started sparking as it fell to the mat, and she kicked it out of the ring.

Zack: Good thinking, Arabella! Look at the sparks coming out of that umbrella!

Claire: That’s the other thing about Fiona that people learned really quickly. Those umbrellas tend to be more than just clubs - they’re usually tricked out like Q branch are giving them out to Double-O’s or like something the Penguin would keep with him.

Fiona was not happy at all about that and started complaining to the referee that Arabella destroyed her personal property. Arabella propped up against the ropes as the redhead continued complaining to the referee, to which Wilson replied by telling her she didn’t need an umbrella since they were inside.

Claire: He makes an excellent point. If she didn’t want to risk it getting damaged she should have left in the back. I guess now she’ll just have to refocus and try to outwrestle Arabella.

Zack: Yeah, the Target Center does not open up, Fiona. So get over it, and I agree–HERE COMES ARABELLA!!

Fiona had just turned back towards her opponent as Arabella took off towards her and landed a big boot to her face to send her down to the mat. The Minneapolis crowd loved that as Fiona tried to get up, and caught a running kick to her body. It dropped to her to a knee before she rose up again to catch a standing sidekick to the body that dropped her like she’d been shot instead of kicked. She doubled over on her knees holding her stomach before Townshend connected with a guillotine leg drop across the back of her head.

Zack: I told you before it started she kicks like a mule, and Arabella’s getting in all the legwork against the obnoxious weathergirl. Fiona should pay attention to her opponent.

Claire: She’s paying for taking her eyes off the ball and if Arabella keeps this up it might be a short spotlight match tonight.

Arabella waved her to get up again as Fiona headed towards the ropes to do just that. As soon as she made it to a vertical base, Arabella charged her with a yakuza kick to the chest that sent her through the ropes to the floor. Kyle darted around the ring to his client as Arabella stayed in the center of the ring as the referee began his count. Townshend wiped her feet on the mat and looked at the soles for a moment as if she stepped in something, further amusing the crowd as Fiona complained about cheating after getting to her feet.

Claire: You’d think Fiona might have learnt from the start of this match that complaining to the referee is not going to work in her favor.

Zack: What cheating is she talking about? Arabella has literally not laid a hand on her since the bell rang!

Claire: She’s not on top…so I’m going to guess she’s just assumed there must be some form of cheating involved for her to be on the outside, hurting.

Fiona aired her grievances to Kyle, who was much more sympathetic. But that didn’t last long either before a baseball slide caught her in the chest when Arabella slid out of the ring. Arabella finally grabbed her and scooped her over her shoulders for a Death Valley driver onto the apron. The redhead almost bounced off the impact but the brunette shoved her back into the ring before climbing back in herself. Wilson asked Arabella to keep the match in the ring, and she told him that’s why she went out to get her.

Zack: That’s a fair point. Our cameras are getting you up close and we’re getting to hear a lot of what’s being said. Arabella did just what the referee wanted, she got it back in the ring.

Claire: And on the way in, Fiona got her spine spiked into the hardest part of the ring. There’s solid steel running all the way between the two posts and it has absolutely no give or leeway at all.

Fiona got back to her feet, only to get sent backwards into the corner with a running European uppercut that sent her into the corner. The former Nova Champion grabbed the top rope and started stomping her body relentlessly, driving her to a seat against the corner. She took off for the far side and came back with a face wash boot to the jaw before Fiona was yanked out of the corner and into a cover!

Zack: Fiona’s getting her clock cleaned, and I think Arabella’s about to get a title shot!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

T-NO.

The weathergirl kicked out in time before the three, and Arabella got back to her feet and had a smile on her face, as it was clear she was enjoying herself.

Claire: Fiona’s a little bit tougher than that, but she has to find a way to stop Arabella’s offense and get a foothold of her own. If it stays as one way traffic then this will only have one outcome.

The redhead began to get to her feet as Arabella circled around behind her. When she was on her feet, Arabella snatched a rear waistlock and sent her flying with a release German suplex. The redhead tried to get up again seconds later, only to find herself getting lobbed again with another release German suplex. The Brit held up her finger as she waited for the weathergirl to get up again to deliver a third. Townshend dropped into a cover with a leg hook.

Zack: Arabella has been absolutely dominant, and she’s ready to end it right here!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOO!!

T-NOOO.

The redhead kicked out again and rolled to her side as her hand clutched her back after hitting the mat repeatedly moments ago.

Claire: Fiona keeps it alive and I’m pretty sure that Arabella will be quite happy to see how much her back is troubling the weathergirl after all the offense.

The powerful Brit raised her hands as she circled behind her this time. When O’Dalaigh made it to her feet again, Arabella went to grab her again. But when she did this time, Fiona charged the ropes and lowered her head to let the top rope catch Arabella full force in the chest. That sent her backwards a few steps before Fiona stood up and delivered a spinning backfist to the jaw that put her on her knees. A running knee trembler to the side of her head finally put the brunette down on the mat. She took a seat on the middle rope to get herself together after that.

Zack: Fiona finally got her foot in the door, didn’t she? I’m not sure now’s the time to be taking a breather if you’re Fiona. Not after how this match began.

Claire: It’s a difficult balance to strike. Sometimes you need to take those couple of seconds to try and let the pain pass and recover but in an ideal world you’d be doing this while you’ve got some form of hold applied so you can do some damage at the same time.

As soon as Fiona saw her starting to push up to her feet, she quickly grabbed her head for a corkscrew neckbreaker. The redhead stood up straight with a pained expression after all the damage that had been done, and climbed up onto the middle turnbuckle for a double ax handle to her back to keep her down. She quickly rolled her over and laid across her for the cover before WIlson fell into position.

Zack: I think this is a little premature, Claire!

ONE!!!

T-NO.

Arabella sat up instead of kicking out, which popped the crowd as Fiona looked at her with anger etched across her face. She popped back to her feet and took off for the far side as Arabella was getting up.

Claire: Arabella showed her that was most definitely premature and Fiona’s showing that hate and anger can be phenomenal motivators.

Arabella ducked the clothesline, but Fiona was ready for that as she passed. She grabbed two handfuls of hair and sent her to the mat with a hair mare. A flurry of stomps to the back of her head landed before she dragged her to hang her neck across the bottom rope and step onto her back to choke her. Wilson got to a four count before she stepped off and then back on. She counted to four with him this time before stepping off a second time. That’s when the referee started giving her a piece of his mind.

Claire: O’Dalaigh is using all the shortcuts that she can to wear down Arabella and Wilson is trying to keep control and keep this as a fair contest.

Zack: Win or lose, I don’t think Fiona is gonna be anywhere near 100% for the six woman tag match in Vegas on Tuesday. She may have the other Maidens doing the heavy lifting that night.

Claire: That’s one of the benefits of being in a six person tag match, you have two partners and if you’re not fully at the races, they can pick up the slack somewhat and you can still be wildly successful.

Townshend started getting to her feet, coughing and trying to catch her breath before Fiona charged towards her with a clothesline to the back that bounced her forward into the ropes. The weathergirl grabbed her hands from behind to deliver a straightjacket lungblower that put the Brit on the mat. She darted towards the corner next. The Brit struggled back to her feet before a moonsault off the top rope landed flush onto her opponent. Fiona got to her feet with a beaming grin on her face, looking at Kyle who applauded her and encouraged her to go for the cover…which she did!

Zack: Good advice from Kyle! You can bask later, and Fiona’s looking for the win!

ONE!!!

TWO.

Arabella got her shoulder up after the two hit the mat, and Fiona got back to her feet before sitting the brunette up. She plunged a knee into her back and pulled Arabella’s arms around her neck for a straightjacket submission.

Claire: Good advice from Kyle but the better advice might have been to have made the cover as soon as she landed the move. At least she’s now got Arabella caught in a tight submission that has her choking herself out right now.

Fiona cranked back on the hold, and also started talking some smack to Arabella at the same time. She told her how she wasn’t in her league, and that she had awful taste in men as well as making fun of her pale skin. Wilson tried to make sure Arabella was still in the match as she was trying to get her breath and clearly starting to get angry with all of Fiona’s chatter behind her. The Minneapolis crowd began chanting for the Brit, trying to rally her as Fiona told them to shut their mouths.

Claire: Fiona is only firing Arabella up with her talk. She’d best hope that she can keep her grip here until Arabella’s out of it or the start of the match might look like nothing more than a warmup.

The Brit’s eyes started to look heavy as Fiona continued running her mouth. The brunette turned to her side and made it back to her feet, but Fiona was keeping the choke applied. She hopped onto her back like a piggyback ride and wrapped her legs around Arabella’s body. She locked her ankles, causing Arabella to carry her at the same time as she was being choked. Townshend took a step towards the ropes, but was clearly not steady on her feet before she finally fell backwards, crushing Fiona under her and causing her to let go and shove the Brit away.

Claire: That was not what Northern Ireland’s representative in Global Wars wanted!  Arabella’s got the escape but how much has it taken out of her and how long will she need to recover?

Zack: I’m no manager, but if I was, I’d advise my client not to talk smack when you’re trying to choke out your opponent. That seems counterproductive to me.

Fiona was back to her feet at the four count, and then spotted Arabella not far from being on her feet next. She tried to put a stop to that with a running high knee to the jaw that dropped her to a knee. O’Dalaigh headed for the corner, shouting “INNOVATOR OF MOONSAULTS” before launching into a corkscrew moonsault that Arabella dodged out of the way of. Fiona crashed into the mat as Arabella was back to a knee with the crowd getting louder in her favor.

Claire: Well…I guess when you want to feed into your own ridiculous delusions of grandeurs, things like that are going to happen. You’d think she’d learn after eight years wouldn’t you?

Zack: You think maybe she telegraphed that to Arabella so she knew exactly what she needed to do?

Claire: I think she might have given a small clue as to what was coming next.

Fiona held her ribs as she laid on the mat, while Arabella was now back to her feet. The Brit was still catching her breath though. She pulled Fiona back to her feet, and started hammering her with forearms to the side of the head. The weather girl was whipped across to the far side and rebounded into a spinebuster from the former Nova Champion. She pushed up to her feet, still winded and worn down. She pulled Fiona’s head between her legs before hoisting her upside down into a ganso bomb and stacked her legs on top of her for the cover!

Zack: Arabella with a ganso bomb I’ve not seen her use, and here’s the cover!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THRE-NO!

Fiona managed to get her shoulder off the mat before the three touched the mat, Arabella made it back to her feet and started waving her hand over her head, letting them know her spinning powerbomb was coming up.

Claire: Arabella is signaling for the end here and given how she’s beaten up on Fiona throughout this contest, the three count will be a formality if she can land it.

The fans came to their feet as Arabella headed back towards the redhead, who had tried to drag herself out of the ring. Townshend grabbed her by the back of her trunks and nearly exposed all of Fiona’s backside in the process. The Brit shook her head and snatched her around the waist before hoisting her up into a wheelbarrow facebuster instead. Arabella gave the signal again, nodding her head as Kyle reached in and fixed Fiona’s shorts.

Zack: Fiona had the right idea and was trying to get out of the ring, and it almost worked. Now Arabella says it’s time to end it for good…

Claire: Fiona just needed to move a little faster. But that’s easier said than done and now Arabella has her caught in her clutches here, about to make the weather girl feel like she’s been in a cyclone.

The Brit planted her head between her legs, bringing the fans to their feet as they knew what was coming next. Townshend hoisted her up quickly, and planted her with her spinning powerbomb before rolling through with both legs hooked for the cover!

Zack: There it is…. HELLO, BOMBSHELLE!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Wilson called for the bell as Arabella rose up to her knee, taking in a few deep breaths before rising to her feet and getting her hand raised.

Lexi: Your winner by pinfall……………………..ARABELLA TOWNSHEND!!

Claire: Arabella scores the victory with the powerbomb that has curtailed the hopes and dreams of so many before tonight. You know Madyson will have been watching this and taking plenty of notes.

The Brit started to smile when she heard her name announced, and climbed the ropes to raise her hand again. The Minneapolis crowd showed her plenty of love and support before she exited to the floor.

Zack: Arabella played to her strengths tonight. I’m talking about her power game and those strong legs. It also didn’t hurt she neutralized that umbrella just in case too.

Claire: In contrast we saw the best and the worst of Fiona - there was some quick thinking and a ruthlessness that almost saw her pick up the win. Then there was the slight misjudgement as she continued to try and make people believe her hype which gave Arabella the opening she needed.

The brunette greeted fans along the ramp as she headed towards the back with that same smile on her face before we cut to a commercial for the Sin City Spectacular on Tuesday.

Stacey’s Receipt

The next shot takes us to the back where we find Amber along with “Sensational” Stacey SKy and her manager, Kyle Kilmeade.

Amber: Before we get started, I want to take you both back to what happened on a recent edition of Breaking Point when my guest at this time attacked Scarlett Kincaid for no apparent reason.

Courtesy of FFW Breaking Point - October 22, 2022

Kayla: Well I don’t think it’s a big deal. The only time it gets a little out of the ordinary is when you have a woman who has to pre-approve any questions that you’re allowed to ask her. Or has her–LOOK OUT!!

Kayla’s eyes widen as she speaks. Scarlett turns around to see what she’s looking at before a superkick catches her on the chin and sends her to the floor. The kick was delivered by Stacey Sky, who yanked the microphone out of Kayla’s hand before she darted away. Stacey began bludgeoning Scarlett’s head with it, causing the “boom” sound to be heard throughout the arena. Seconds later, security arrived as Kyle appeared with them and took Stacey’s hand.

~ ~ ~

As the clip ends, we go back to Amber with her guests. Kyle has Stacey’s hand in his as the reporter resumes talking.

Amber: Can you explain to everyone why you decided to—OH GOD!!

Stacey and Kyle barely had time to turn around before Scarlett blindsided the blonde with a forearm to the head. She shoved Kyle on his ass, and started raining punches to the cheerleader’s jaw before whipping her into the wall of the interview set. That’s when security arrived and started to pull the Cajun back. Kyle got to his feet, and took Stacey’s hand as she was about to charge after Scarlett before security got between them with Scarlett encouraging her to come get her before the show went to a commercial for Crossed Out in February.

Kat: The following match is scheduled for one fall to a finish and is for the FFW No Surrender Championship!!!

Zack: It’s time for our first of three championship matches tonight at Red Alert, and this rivalry has been ongoing for a few years now. The last time Valerie and Lilly met was a triple threat at Crossed Out for this very title a while back. I’m joined by Christian Kincaid again for this match.

Christian: Happy to be back. Especially with how the tag match went earlier tonight. That was a massive disappointment.

The lights in the arena sharply cut off, leaving everything in complete darkness. The chiming of a clock is heard echoing in the darkness, followed by a chipper, circus like chime tone. As the tone chimes on, a vibrant gold spotlight shines down on the top of the stage. The circus chimes are soon replaced by the opening chorus of “Villain” by Wild Fire.

"Tic tic toc, the time bomb clock
Ticks grinning ear to ear here baby
Tic Tic Toc, the time bomb clock
ticks counting down...
tic, tic stop!"

At the exact moment “stop” is sung, the song kicks into full gear, setting off a series of shimmering gold strobe lights going off on either side of the ramp. A few seconds pass before the controversial redhead, Valerie McKinley makes her way out from behind the curtain and stands in the immediate center of the stage, standing in the gold spotlight. Coming out behind her and standing next to her was her manager, one Kyle Kilmeade.

"You know I speak in riddles,
And I’m plotting to destroy
Villain as I always was
Crazy is as crazy does"

Clad in a mid-thigh length leather jacket worn open over her gear, Valerie looks around at the crowd showering her with a rousing chorus of boos. She looks over at Kyle and the pair simply shake their heads. The strobe lights begin to lessen in intensity as the pair makes their way down the aisle, her arms at her side and a focused look on her face. As she makes her way to the ring, the fans on either side of the aisle make their displeasure at her appearance rather noticeable, which Valerie simply dismisses with an arrogant flip of her hand.

"My sanity's in short supply
Mad as a hatter, hey surprise!
T-T-T-Ticking bomb on the inside
Livin' with the villain pacing in my mind."

Kat: Ladies and gentlemen, making her way down to the ring, being accompanied by Kyle Kilmeade…..from Providence, Rhode Island…….Valerie McKinley!!

The boos grow louder as Kyle hops up onto the apron and climbs into the ring. Valerie hops up onto the apron and spins around so her back is resting on the ropes. With her head bowed, she lifts both arms up towards her head and has her pointer finger and thumb on both hands close to her head. She lifts her head up and extends her arms out, her fingers pointing out at the crowd like pistols. She then makes a motion like she was firing her finger guns at the crowd before turning around to see Kyle already holding the ropes open for her. She steps through the open ropes and into the ring.

"I'm blowing up the mystery
And all the pretty things you see
Light flame to fuse
And Sparks will fly
You said goodnight
Now say goodbye."

Once in the ring, she walks around with her arms extended outward, reveling in the heat from the crowd. She walks over to the corner and peels off her jacket, letting it drop to the apron as the lights return to normal and her music fades out. She rests her back against the turnbuckles and brushes a few stray strands of hair out of her face, awaiting the start of the action.

Zack: Valerie earned her spot in this match by defeating Diamond Steele, who was trying to get herself a shot without doing anything to deserve it. Valerie made sure her wait was going to continue.

Christian: I think Valerie would be a stronger challenge anyway for Lilly. She’s bene out here winning matches, after all. I know she’s not popular, but she doesn’t have to be. She just has to be good, which she is. Very good.

“All Stand Up” by Status Quo starts to play as the young lady runs out onto stage with the championship belt around her waist, heading to one side she urges the crowd to their feet, clapping her hands above her head. Skipping across to the other side, she waves them to their feet as she once more claps her hands over head. Quickly moving back to the ramp, she sprints down to the ring, sliding underneath the bottom rope and getting to her feet quickly. Bouncing off the ropes she powerslides across the ring on her knees before hopping to her feet and continuing to rally the crowd by stomping on the mat and clapping as she heads for her corner, climbing to the middle turnbuckle and holding the title high above her head before getting ready for the match to start.

Kat: The young lady approaching the ring comes from Sheffield, England by way of New York City, New York. She is 5’7 tall, she weighs 144 lbs and she is the FFW NO SURRENDER CHAMPION….LILLY ARTHUR!!!

Zack: Lilly’s one of the strongest No Surrender Champions in that title’s history. She’s held it for a long while, especially if you add her reigns together. And what works for her here is she knows Valerie very well. There won’t be much feeling out in this one.

Christian: I doubt there will be too. Both of them have been part of this division for some time, and I suspect they are both past the point of needing to scout the other. They know what’s in front of them.

Melinda Davis took the title from Lilly and showed it to Valerie and then to the crowd before handing it off to Kat as she left the ring; throughout this, McKinley’s eye were locked on Lilly, barely acknowledging the referee as Kyle told the referee she was ready when the official asked. Davis called for the bell and as soon as it rang, the One Percenter quickly stepped straight out of the corner, to the middle of the ring, looking as though she was about to lock up with the defending Champion only to pull out at the last moment and deliver a knee lift into the Englishwoman’s stomach. A second followed, doubling Lilly over before McKinley straightened her up with a third knee lift to the face. As Arthur staggered backwards, the former Gold Standard member Irish whipped her into the corner and immediately took off after her. As soon as the defending Champion hit the turnbuckles, McKinley caught her with a splash in the corner.

Zack: No matter who wins here, they’ll have a few bullseyes remaining on their back. We already mentioned Diamond, but there’s also Mila who has had her eye on this title since she got to the FFW roster.

Christian: I think Mila and Lilly or Valerie would be a fantastic match. They all have tremendous skill sets, admittedly not something I was ever very good at. So more respect to them.

Valerie landed on her feet and stepped backwards, Lilly stepping out with her and McKinley wrapped her arms around her and sent her to the canvas with a release overhead belly to belly suplex. Quickly Lilly rolled to the side and pushed up to her feet only for her opponent to already be vertical and coming towards her, catching her with a high knee to the chest which she followed up with a series of three knife edge chops. Lilly stepped backwards, giving McKinley the space she needed to skip forwards and catch the Sheffield native with a boot into her midriff. It dropped Arthur to one knee and again Valerie took full advantage with a side kick straight into her foe’s face. As the No Surrender Champion started to rise to her feet, the One Percenter grabbed hold of her by the hair and the back of her trunks and spun her around, building up a head of steam and sent her left shoulder first through the turnbuckles and into the steel ring post in McKinley’s corner.

Zack: Valerie’s using the steel ring post like it was her tag team partner tonight. This is a big night for her and her manager, because he could be managing the No Surrender and FFW Champions before we leave the air here in Minneapolis.

Christian: Yeah, Kyle has the chance to be one of the most powerful managers in this company. He’d have the spot right behind me. Hi, Kyle.

The referee started to reprimand the challenger for the pull on the hair only for the red haired wrestler to argue with her and as she did so, Kyle grabbed hold of Lilly’s left wrist as she tried to step out from between the turnbuckles and jerked her forwards three times, driving her shoulder into the ring post again before he stepped away, looking innocent as the crowd booed loudly. Arthur stepped backwards holding her shoulder and as she turned around towards the challenger, she was scooped up off her feet and found herself on the receiving end of a shoulder breaker to the injured arm. Valerie didn’t drop her, instead she stood up straight and delivered a second shoulder breaker before releasing her grip. The No Surrender Champion collapsed onto the canvas and immediately, McKinley started to stomp away viciously at the shoulder only for Davis to demand that she back up, getting ignored by the challenger before the referee stepped between them; Valerie telling her this was a submission only match.

Zack: Not much point in arguing with the referee in the middle of a match, especially as i’ve never seen anyone win one with them.

Christian: Arguing with a referee is pointless, and only allows your opponent more time to get themselves together. Lilly appreciates the opening.

Still Davis continued to reprimand her, telling her to obey her instructions. McKinley, though stepped past her as Lilly came to all fours, leaving her feet and came crashing down with a curb stomp to the injured shoulder, driving the Champion back down into the mat. Quickly the One Percenter followed that up with an elbow drop to the joint and after delivering it stayed laid across her opponent’s back, reaching for the arm and pulling it upwards and into a fujiwara armbar, bridging up onto her toes for extra leverage. The official dropped down in front of Lilly and asked her if she wanted to quit, getting a ‘No’ and a shake of the head as she tried to push up from the canvas to ease the pressure. As she did so, Valerie grabbed hold of her fingers and jerked them in opposite directions, causing them to snap loudly, the pain causing Lilly to bunk like a wild bronco beneath her, forcing the challenger off of her as the Champion rolled out of the ring, cradling her hand against her chest.

Zack: It looks like Valerie is trying to take one of Lilly’s hands away here. If she can manage that, Lilly’s chances of retaining her title tonight are pretty dim.

Christian: Definitely a good idea, no matter who the opponent is. If they can’t use a hand, that limits an opponent in so many ways.

McKinley stared at her with a sadistic smile on her face and immediately headed for the ropes, stepping through them and onto the apron, ignoring the referee as she measured up her foe, before taking several steps forwards and launching herself into a double axe handle that caught Lilly from behind right to the top of her head, sending her down to her knees. Arthur went to push back up to her feet but as she did so, McKinley caught her with a forearm to the back of her skull before she twisted her left arm up behind her and into a hammerlock. Lilly grimaced in pain as she did so before she attempted to throw an elbow backwards, Valerie swayed out of the way of it and gave the Champion a derisory slap to the back of her head before she started to rush her forwards, driving her left shoulder into the ring post. Arthur staggered away, holding her shoulder with a look of pain on her face only for Valerie to charge her, catching her with a clothesline across her shoulders, sending the Englishwoman down to her knees. Before Lilly could push her way back to her feet, McKinley grabbed hold of her head and hair, pulling her upright only to send her crashing into the steel ring steps in the corner of the former Gold Standard member, separating them slightly with her impact.

Zack: I gotta tell you I didn’t expect Valerie to be so dominant this early into the match. I expected them to be trading hold for hold in the early moments. The One Percenter is laser focused tonight, isn’t she?

Christian: I’m not surprised by that. Valerie has done a lot in this company since she signed a few years back. She’s hardly known for not being prepared for her opposition.

The referee demanded that Valerie bring the match back into the ring, only for the red head to roll in under the bottom rope and straight back out, stepping straight towards Lilly and slamming her face first into the top of the ring steps. Lilly lay slumped over them for a moment, reaching for her shoulder. As she did so, McKinley grabbed hold of her left hand, lifted it high into the air and then brought it down viciously, driving her wrist into the edge of the stairs, Lilly crying out in pain as she did so. With the sadistic smile still on her face, she fed her opponent’s hand down into the gap between the ring steps and the post that had been created when Arthur crashed into them, pushing the steps back to trap the limb temporarily. The No Surrender Champion had a pained look on her face and before she could even try and free her hand, Valerie slammed a trio of thrust kicks into the top step, forcing the steel of the steps into the ring post, crushing the champion’s hand and wrist in the process.

Zack: Lilly’s hand is getting decimated here. I don’t recall anyone using this strategy against her, but it’s definitely giving future opponents a blueprint.

Christian: Here’s a secret, that’s part of what managers do. We see what worked well against the people who face our clients, and we try to improve on it. I do that often.

The referee started to read her the riot act, causing McKinley to climb up onto the apron and get face to face with the official, arguing with her as she stepped away from the corner. With the referee distracted, Kyle brought his foot up onto the middle step and continued to push the top half of the stairs into the Champion’s hand and wrist while pretending to be tying his shoelaces, Lilly kicking her feet against the floor as he did so. He dropped his foot a moment before Valerie ended her disagreement with the official and dropped off the apron, returning to her opponent where she once more drove her face into the top of the steel steps before jerking her away and throwing her back into the ring underneath the bottom rope.

Zack: Lilly’s got to mount some kind of offense sooner than later, because right now, we’re cruising to a one-sided rout by Valerie to become the new titanium titleholder.

Christian: I don’t get it. Lilly’s having a rough time getting out of the blocks tonight. We all have those nights, but preferably not when our title is up for grabs.

Lilly rolled away, forcing herself to rise back to her feet as McKinley followed her in and walked her down, reaching the No Surrender Champion as she made it to one knee and pulled the left arm into an armbar combined with a wristlock. Again the look of pain deepened on Lilly’s face but despite that she forced herself upright, turning towards the challenger and caught her with a palm strike to the jaw. A second followed that before the Sheffield native followed it with a headbutt to the red head, causing her to step backwards towards the corner. As she did so, Lilly caught her with a trio of right handed jabs before she unloaded with a left hook, immediately crying out in agony as she clutched her wrist and hand. The One Percenter went to exploit the opening, stepping back only to give her space to launch into a superkick. The Sheffield native though, saw it coming and blocked it, pushing the leg off to one side before she grabbed hold of the challenger’s hand, falling backwards as she brought her boot up to catch the former Gold Standard member with an inverted stomp facebreaker.

Zack: Shades of Alessandra right there, who we’ll see Tuesday night at the Sin City Spectacular attempting to become the #1 contender for the Future Shock title.

Christian: I think she and Angelina are gonna tear the house down in that match. Either one of them would give Jacqui a headache. And if it’s Alessandra, I train her so I promise she’ll be ready to give Jacqui fits.

McKinley fell back into the corner, holding her jaw for a moment, watching as the Champion began to come to her feet. Just as the Englishwoman got to a vertical base, McKinley launched herself out of the corner, looking to connect with a clothesline only for Lilly to duck beneath the arm. The One Percenter stopped on a dime and as she turned back around, Arthur caught her with a superkick to her right knee, causing it to buckle as she fell to one knee. Lilly stepped back into the corner and quickly pushed up onto the middle rope quickly, launching herself off of it and catching hold of Valerie’s head as she did so, spinning her around and spiking her down on top of her skull with a tornado DDT. Quickly Lilly pushed up to her feet and moved to the challenger's ankles as Valerie pushed up to all four. Stooping down, Lilly grabbed hold of her right ankle with her right hand and lifted it high into the air only to spike it down into the canvas. She did that two more times before she held it against the mat, pressing her foot against the back of McKinley’s right thigh as she fed the foot behind her leg and fell to the side, jarring the leg as she did so. Immediately Valerie reached for the knee and Lilly set her up again and once more, fell to the side, jarring the knee roughly.

Zack: Lilly’s doing all kinds of damage to Valerie’s knee, and returning the favor from when the challenger was trying to break her hand earlier.

Christian: Yeah, the more you get worked over in a match, it tends to give you even more desire to give it back tenfold.

This time the former Gold Standard member rolled away, reaching for her knee as she did so and Lilly went right after her, grabbing her right leg once more with both hands and went to pull her back towards the middle of the ring where she looked to be about to lock in a knee bar…only for McKinley to have the wherewithal to kick her free foot across and catch the No Surrender Champion squarely in the left wrist, causing her to grit her teeth as she released her grip and stepped backwards, holding her left wrist.

Christian: There’s a good way to avoid a submission. Valerie had it well scouted.

McKinley started to rise only for Lilly to catch her with a kick to the sternum before she used her right hand to pull her upwards and delivered a single knee facebreaker. The red head stumbled backwards and as she did so, Arthur skipped towards her and delivered a bicycle kick to her chest once more. It sent Valerie backwards into the corner and Lilly charged forwards, shoulder lowered and slammed it into her midriff. Three more shoulder thrusts followed that, each one delivered as though Lilly was trying to put her opponent's spine first through the turnbuckle pads, the impact folding her up. The referee called for the break and started the count, getting to four before the No Surrender Champion stepped back and jerked her foe out of the corner, falling to her knees as she sent her into the opposite corner with an Irish whip, cradling her left wrist against her body. She forced herself back to her feet as McKinley crashed spine first into the turnbuckles, charging in after her and delivered a two footed dropkick into the right knee of the former Gold Standard member.

Zack: Surgical precision on that dropkick right to the damaged knee of Valerie. Lilly’s showing pinpoint accuracy.

Christian: No kidding, that’s what you do as a wrestler. If you know of a weakness or have created one for yourself in a match, you exploit it because your job’s half done.

Lilly came back to her knees in the corner in front of McKinley, moving towards her quickly where she grabbed hold of her right leg and sent her down to the mat with a dragon screw leg whip. The One Percenter rolled across the ring, using the momentum to come back to her feet as the No Surrender Champion was already in motion, charging past her and leaping onto the middle rope, using it to springboard onto her opponent’s shoulder before snapping off a poisonrana, spiking the former Gold Standard member down on the top of her head. The Englishwoman rolled away and sat up, grimacing in pain as she rubbed her left wrist before she started to come to her feet as Valerie was doing likewise. McKinley made it to a vertical base and the Sheffield native charged towards her, catching her with a running big boot to the face, the challenger getting her hands up in time to take the brunt of the blow, which only caused her to spin around.

Christian: Lilly didn’t get all of that she wanted because Valerie was able to block it. Her hands aren’t going to feel good for a while though.

Zack: Yeah, it doesn’t really matter what gets kicked. It still hurts, but that was a good deflection.

As she did so, Lilly stopped on a dime and lashed out with a mule kick into the Providence native’s right knee. It caused the red head to stumble, the leg buckling for a moment and as it did so, the Sheffielder grabbed her, sending her down to the mat with a side Russian leg sweep that saw her roll McKinley over, grabbing hold of her right leg as she did so and locked in a calf crusher submission hold, leaning back as far as she could as she pulled on the right foot, only to overbalance slightly as she did so, catching herself on her right hand while she looked to keep the submission locked in. On the mat, Valerie let out a quiet cry of pain and pulled at her hair with her hands as she shook her head, refusing to submit as Kyle moved around the ring towards her, getting into her eyeline and giving her advice. Again the official asked her if she wanted to quit, getting another shake of the head and instead the former Gold Standard member planted her fists against the mat and started to push upwards, using all the strength in her right leg to straighten it out, breaking the grip of the No Surrender Champion as she did so and causing Lilly to roll away, holding her left wrist in pain.

Christian: I gotta hand it to these two, they are putting on a clinic here with this match.

Zack: Two of the best submission wrestlers in the world, no two ways about it.

Valerie quickly scrabbled towards the ring ropes as she got the release, using them to pull herself upright, gingerly putting weight on her right leg as she did so only for Lilly to charge towards her. McKinley spotted her rushing forwards and dropped her shoulder, lifting her up and over the top rope. Arthur, though, managed to grab hold of the top rope on the way, using it to land on her feet on the apron and quickly reached forwards, grabbing hold of her opponent around the jaw and pulling her backwards, causing her to lean back over the top rope before she started to hammer right forearms into her chest. She only landed two, however, before McKinley grabbed hold of her opponent’s left wrist under her jaw and started to pull it away, twisting it into a wristlock as she did so before she spun around and caught the Champion with a spinning discus elbow to the side of the jaw. It caused Lilly’s to be unsteady on the apron as she went to grab the rope once more and as she did, Valerie continued to spin around and this time left her feet to catch her opponent with the One Percent gamengiri kick to the side of her head. Lilly fell off the apron and landed hard on the floor while in the ring, McKinley landed on the mat and immediately started to writhe in pain, holding her right knee.

Zack: The floor didn’t give her any kind of a warm greeting. She’s lucky Valerie is in the shape she’s in right now.

Christian: These matches leave you with nothing left before it’s over, and that’s certainly the case here. But you live for nights like this, and they’ll keep digging down.

Davis dropped down to one knee, her back to Lilly on the outside as she checked on McKinley, asking her if she was okay or if she wanted medical attention for her knee and making sure she was okay to continue. As the official was making the checks, Kyle started to walk past Lilly, arms raised in a show to the fans that he wasn’t interfering…only for him to step on her left wrist as she laid on the floor, causing her to kick her feet against the floor in agony as he continued to apply downward pressure with his foot, using all his weight, before finally continuing on past her, starting to circle the ring as McKinley convinced the referee that she was good to continue and slid out of the ring as Lilly rolled onto her back, holding her left wrist as she did. Valerie drove a pair of stomps into her opponent’s body before she reached down for the left hand once more, contorting it in a wristlock that saw Lilly cry out in agony, the One Percenter using the hold of roll her foe onto her front, placing the back of her hand on the floor, elbow up in the air, keeping her arm in that position as she trapped her fingers beneath her boot only to stomp down on the elbow with her other boot. Lilly let out a shriek of pain, holding her arm against her body as she rolled from side to side.

Zack: Lilly’s hand is gonna be in some kind of cast after this match. Valerie is crushing that hand and those fingers every chance she gets.

Christian: Good thing she has Colin, isn’t it? Because you’re right, that hand is gonna be useless for a while after this match.

With a sick smirk on her face, Valerie grabbed hold of her hand once more, twisting into a wristlock and standing her arm up on the floor once more as she again stomped on the elbow. Lilly let out another shriek of pain as she tried to roll away underneath the ring only for McKinley to stop her, pulling her back out and rolling her back into the ring. Arthur rolled towards the middle of the ring as Valerie followed, pushing up to her feet to stand over the Englishwoman. Lilly pushed up onto all fours and as she did, the One Percenter reached down to grab her left arm once more and rolled through to apply a cross armbreaker, quickly straightening out the arm and pulling back on it, raising her hips off the mat for additional leverage. Lilly’s feet kicked wildly against the mat as she cried out loudly in pain, free arm flailing wildly as she tried to find ropes that were a long way away; the Champion shaking her head as the referee dropped down to ask her if she wanted to quit.

Zack: You gotta respect Lilly’s iron..or titanium will. You damn near have to knock her out or nearly cripple her before she considers stopping a match.

Christian: This isn’t the division for someone who has a low pain threshold. Lilly’s been champion for a while, she’s long since proven she has that.

Valerie jerked back on the hold further, applying a wristlock at the same time. The referee asked the question of Lilly getting an agonized, almost squealed ‘No’ from the No Surrender Champion as she threw her head back, tears forming in her eyes as her free hand hovered over the canvas. McKinley wrenched on the wrist further, still pulling back on the arm but still Lilly shook her head, hand wavering over the mat. There was a look of concern on Davis’ face as Lilly again shook her head and started to turn into the hold and began to club blows into her opponent’s right knee, desperately hammering away at it before she seemed to grab hold of the red head’s leg, digging her fingers deeply into the outside of her thigh. Suddenly Valerie let out a cry of her own and released the hold, rolling away and grabbing her thigh and knee with a look of pain on her face, allowing Lilly to roll to the side, holding her left arm against her as her face was a mask of pain.

Christian: That’s not a look on her face that needs much description, is it?

Zack: Not at all, it tells the story much better than we could.

The challenger took a moment before she rose to her feet, rubbing the side of her leg and knee as she did so and start to move towards the No Surrender Champion, limping as she favored her right leg. She reached down to grab Lilly by the left wrist and pulled her upwards, twisting the arm around in the socket a full rotation and a half, feeding it over her shoulder before she snapped it downwards over her shoulder. Lilly tried to stagger backwards as she let a cry of pain but McKinley still had the arm caught, and again she snapped the limb downwards over her shoulder before she turned to face her and delivered a double knee arm breaker to the left arm. Lilly once more grabbed hold of her left arm and rolled away towards the middle of the ring.

Zack: Both of these women are Future Shock alumni, but I don’t recall them going through anything this grueling when they were there.

Christian: That’s because they didn’t. Future Shock doesn’t have a division like this, but they do have some very talented women who would thrive in it like Gwen Margolis, for example.

The One Percenter stepped forwards with a confident smile on her face, still favoring her right leg as she did so, giving the sign to the crowd for the Ordo Ab Chao chicken wing surfboard. As she went to grab hold of the left arm to begin to apply the move, Lilly suddenly countered, lashing out with a kick straight into her knee cap as she grabbed hold of her opponent’s arm and threw herself face first into the mat, jerking McKinley downwards with her and causing the red head to faceplant into the canvas. Arthur forced herself back to her feet and stumbled backwards a couple of steps as she held her left arm close to her body as she watched the challenger already starting to rise. As the former Gold Standard member made it to her feet, Lilly dropped back to the ropes and used them to launch herself forwards and into a spear, which folded the Providence native in half.

Zack: Lilly looked like she got shot out of a cannon instead of off the ropes with that wicked spear on Valerie!

Christian: Lilly’s found that second or third wind, and she better hold onto it for as long as she can.

Again Lilly rolled away and used the ring ropes and her good hand to pull herself upwards, leaning against them as she waved the red head upwards. McKinley slowly made it back to a vertical base and turned towards her opponent just as the Englishwoman skipped forwards and caught her with a superkick to the jaw. Valerie fell straight backwards to the canvas and Lilly nodded her head as she grabbed hold of her foes leg, spinning around and falling backwards to lock in the figure four leglock, putting all the pressure that she could on the right knee. Valerie gritted her teeth as her face immediately had a look of pain and agony on it but she refused to submit to the hold even as Lilly tried to increase the pressure on the leg. Still Valerie refused to submit which saw the Sheffield native shake her head as lay back on the mat and started to bridge up on her hands, trying to transition into the figure 8. Valerie let out a cry of pain as the hold applied even more pressure to the knee, causing her to shake her head as the referee asked her if she wanted to quit as she reached for the kneecap.

Christian: Valerie may be stuck here, there’s not a lot of options that I see presenting themselves.

Zack: Most of us would have given up a long time ago, but Valerie is just as stubborn as they come when it comes to situations like this.

The referee asked again if she wanted to quit, getting another refusal from McKinley as she again reached for her right knee before her hand started to hover over the canvas as if she was considering it. The official asked again as she watched the hand like a hawk, getting another ‘No’ before the pressure on the hold lessened suddenly as Lilly’s left arm gave out underneath causing her to fall to the side with a cry of agony. As soon as she realized what happened, Valerie pushed against the mat and used her weight to roll the pair over, reversing the move, pushing up on her palms to make it more painful for Lilly. Quickly the No Surrender Champion clawed and scrabbled at the canvas, managing to release the hold and free herself. McKinley lay on the mat, face down, reaching and holding her knee in pain.

Zack: They may not like to hear it, but these two are so evenly matched when it comes to technical wrestling skills.

Christian: They are evenly matched whether fans like to hear it or either of them agree with it. The skill levels are identical, as far as I can tell.

Lilly took a couple of moments before she started to come to her feet, holding her left arm against her and headed towards her opponent as Valerie was starting to push her way up to her feet. She pulled McKinley the rest of the way to her feet and snapped her head backwards with a pair of European uppercuts before she pulled her into position for a side Russian leg sweep and this time she drove McKinley face first into the mat. As the pair landed, the No Surrender Champion quickly pushed back up to her feet and went straight after the right leg of her foe once more, trapping it and falling backwards into an inverted Indian Deathlock, reaching back as she did to try and combine it with a chinlock ro complete the Sheffield Submission. Valerie cried out loudly in pain as the hold was applied, hand wavering over the canvas as the referee checked with her, making sure she was okay for the match to continue.

Zack: Are we about to see the One Percenter call it a night?! It looks like she’s giving it serious consideration right now.

Christian: I wouldn’t blame her if she did, and I’d have said the same thing in Lilly’s case too.

McKinley refused again as she reached for Lilly’s left hand, grabbing hold of her fingers and pulling at them which caused the Englishwoman to cry out in pain, releasing the chinlock and the Sheffielder slammed her forearm into the back of the red heads skull four times before locking in the chinlock again, wrenching back as she did so. McKinley let out another cry as the Indian deathlock was still applied to the leg. The referee asked the Rhode Islander once more, getting another ‘No’ from her as she tried to once more grab hold of Lilly’s left hand - this time though, the No Surrender Champion had her right hand over her left protectively. McKinley struggled to pull the hand away from her with no success. The referee asked again and Valerie hesitated for a moment before she started to tap the canvas. The referee called for the bell and as it sounded, Lilly rolled away and came to her feet, Valerie holding her knee as curled up on the canvas. The official helped the victor to her feet and raised her hand in the air.

Zack: That’s it! It’s over, and Lilly’s done it again!

Christian: Incredible performance! I give both women a ton of credit. Lilly’s reign rolls on, and she certainly had to work extra hard to ensure that.

Kat: Here is your winner… and STILL FFW NO SURRENDER CHAMPION!!! LILLY ARTHUR!!!

Zack: Valerie came damn close to upsetting the champion tonight, but Lilly is a whole other breed of athlete who far more often than not finds a way to win. What a match!

Christian: They put on a clinic like I said earlier in the match. If you’re in Future Shock, you should watch this match and be taking notes if this is a division you ever want to be part of.

Kyle slid in and checked on Valerie as she rolled into the corner, pulling herself up into a sitting position, holding her knee as the referee retrieved the title belt and presented it to the No Surrender Champion as Kyle slid back out and got a chair, sliding that back in. Valerie scooped it up as she came to her feet behind the celebrating No Surrender Champion and reared back with the chair, eyes locked on the left arm of the Champion, only for Davis to grab hold of the chair and jerked it away from her. It caused Lilly to spin around and stare at McKinley who gave her a cold stare as she stepped backwards, leaving the ring as the show cut away.

Who’s Getting Crossed Out?

Kayla is seen next in the back, and she’s standing outside the office of the owner of FFW Samantha Star.

Kayla: Miss Star, I know you have some news to share with us and I’m sure you also saw what happened earlier between Scarlett Kincaid and “Sensational” Stacey Sky.

Samantha: You’re correct on both counts, Miss Palmer. As a matter of fact, both of those statements will be connected to what I have to say. Our next FFW event is going to be Crossed Out in February on FFW All Access. And I’m immediately booking a match between Scarlett Kincaid and “Sensational” Stacey Sky on that event.

Kayla: Do you think what you said to Stacey a few weeks back at Breaking Point is what instigated her to attack Scarlett in the first place?

Samantha: I can’t tell you what goes on in someone else’s mind, but that could very well be a cogent theory, Miss Palmer. After all, there’s not many bigger names you could go after if you want to establish yourself in the upper echelon of FFW than Scarlett Kincaid. You’d have to ask her and Mr. Kilmeade if that’s what inspired her though. I can’t speak for them.

Kayla: Fair enough. What else did you have to share with us?

Samantha: That would be the match I’m adding to Crossed Out for the FFW Unity Tag Team TItles when the Midnight Storm defend against Vicious and Vivacious. Vee and Michelle won their match, and that’s when they will get their prize.

Kayla: Have you decided on the main event for Crossed Out in February?

Samantha: That is still being determined, but I can tell you it will feature the Pure Championship being on the line. When an opponent has been determined for Missy, it will be announced. Now if you’ll excuse me..

Kayla: Thank you for talking with me tonight, Miss Star. Let’s send it back to the ring for our next match.

As Kayla walked away, the camera saw Cait Flanagan and Kyle heading into Samantha’s office. THen we cut to a commercial for this Tuesday’s Sin City Spectacular.

A video package shows highlights from the previous meeting between Caitlyn and Casey, including how close Storm was to winning. Then it shows her earning a rematch at Sin & Sacrifice against Bianca Reed before the show returns to the live broadcast.

Kat: The following contest is scheduled for one fall to a finish, and it is for the FFW Evolution Championship!

Zack: You just saw how we got here tonight, and if anyone deserves a rematch with the champion, it’s her. The last time she met Casey was at Breaking Point’s 200th episode.

Lexi: I can tell you that as you probably expect Caitlyn has been bouncing off the walls for this rematch. She’s as ready as she is ever gonna be!

Ah-ooh!
If you got troubles let 'em go
Let 'em soar so high, high into the sky
Just like a red balloon

“Red Balloon” by Charli XCX begins to play as red balloons fall from the ceiling, just before Caitlyn comes out through the curtain, looking up in amazement at the balloons showering down on the crowd before looking down to the ring.

Monday morning
Shoot up like a rocket
Yeah, the sun is shining
Keep it in my pocket
Got this golden feeling
Never gonna stop, it just goes on and on

The balloons start getting tossed around in the crowd as Caitlyn makes her way down the ramp to the ring. The former fitness instructor hops up onto the apron and over the top rope to high five a smiling Kat.

Kat: Introducing at this time....Hailing from New York City, New York and weighing in at One Hundred and Twenty-Six pounds...She is one half of the reigning FFW Unity Tag Team Champions….Caitlyn Storm!

Today, I opened my eyes
And now I'm so happy and free
I've got my friends by my side
And that's all that matters to me
So, come on, get up and join in
'Cause this is just what you need
Let's do it all day long

Caitlyn heads for the corner, and climbs up to the second turnbuckle. She glances around the crowd pumping her fist in the air a couple of times to get them even more amped up. The music fades out from there as Caitlyn climbs back down to await the start of the match.

Zack: Could tonight be the night that this woman right here ends the historic reign of Casey Atherton as the Evolution Champion? It’s hard to bet against Casey, but I believe in Caitlyn. And I know you do too, Lexi.

Lexi: I definitely do. I see how much work and heart she puts into everything she does, so there is no chance at all of me betting against her.

The arena is plunged into darkness, punctuated only by the soft, subtle, plucking of harp strings picking out the tune from the hymn “He’s Got The Whole World In His Hands” only just loud enough to be audible by the capacity crowd. As it plays the video wall starts to show a group of people formed up in ranks against a pure black background. The song got louder as the voices of the people on the video wall began to sing the hymn with great enthusiasm and verve, clapping their hands together as they did so. Then, suddenly it was cut off and became a fanfare of trumpets. A sudden blinding white light flooded the whole building before it narrowed down to a single point high above the stage where a single figure is slowly descending from the heavens. The woman almost seems to be glowing in her bright white robes with the [TITLE] belt fastened securely around her waist. Her hair was almost a flame red crown around her head. The eyes of the choir on the video wall all turned towards her, singing out an awed ‘Aaaah aaaaah aaaah’ to accompany the angel’s descent only for her to become more and more recognisable as Casey Atherton the lower that she gets. The crowd dropping down to their knees on the wall and starting to bow towards the angelic figure. As Casey landed she shrugged herself out of her white robes with the aid of a stagehand, leaving herself in brilliant white ring tights and a white smock top and her championship belt still around her waist. Cradling her hands together, the red haired woman began to slowly walk down the entrance ramp; bathed in the same bright, pure white light. On the video wall, the Choir began to sing, slowly growing to a crescendo!

She's got the whole world in her hands
She's got the whole wide world in her hands
She's got the whole wide world in her hands
She's got the whole world in her hands

As she makes it to the ring, she climbed up the ring steps and onto the apron before slowly and as respectfully and reverentially as possible stepped through the ropes into the ring. Atherton flashed a bright smile to the crowd, circling the ring only to stop on each side of the ring and blessed those in attendance.

Kat: Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome at this time…she is the reigning and defending FFW Evolution Champion…..”THE SAVIOUR” CASEY ATHERTON!!!!

Casey finally returns to her corner, eyes turned to the heavens as she seems to be praying while she waits for the match to begin and the choir faded off the video wall. Finally holding the title belt a little higher and offering it to the assigned ring official before she returned to her feet to wait for the match to begin.

Referee Kevin Fisk took the title from Casey and showed it to Caitlyn before raising it overhead. Kat takes it with her as she leaves the ring before the bell sounds. As soon as it does, Dante climbs onto the apron and tries to encourage everyone to pray…until Caitlyn sends him to the floor with a boot to chest. That made the crowd very happy…at least until Casey jumped her as she was turning around. The redhead launched towards her with a running forearm to the side of her head. She quickly raked her eyes across the top rope and pulled her into a standing side headlock. Atherton pounded a few fists into her face before grinding the hold in tighter.

Zack: Casey didn’t take well to Caitlyn dropping Dante, did she? It’s just a shame she didn’t knock the moron out for the whole match.

Lexi: I’m sure that Caitlyn will likely get a hero's welcome for that when she gets backstage after this match!

Caitlyn didn’t stay in it long before she started trying to get free by driving repeated elbows into Casey’s body. After four of them, she finally managed to get free and Storm started returning fire with forearms of her own. She rocked the champion backwards into the ropes and tees off with a knife edge chop to her chest. The sound resounded through the arena, causing Casey to clutch her chest for a second before another chop landed. A third landed before Storm sent her across to the far side, only for her to rebound into a flying shoulder tackle from the former fitness instructor.

Zack: That’s what Caitlyn needs to do: strike fast and strike often. And that’s exactly what she’s doing!

Lexi: Caitlyn hits like a truck, but Casey has proven before just how resilient she can be. She wouldn’t have been Champion as long as she has been if she wasn’t.

The champion got back to her feet, and Caitlyn kept the strikes coming. A back heel kick to the body stopped the redhead in her tracks, and caused her to double over before Caitlyn pulled her head into a single knee facebreaker before going for the cover!

Zack: Storm’s looking for a shock and awe offense, and already wanting to end it!

ONE!!!

T-NO!

It proved to be too soon for Casey as she shoved her off the cover before the two landed. The blonde pulled her back to her feet, and fired a pair of chops into her chest again before she whipped her chest first into the corner.

Lexi: That cover was maybe a little premature but it will go towards wearing Casey down in the long run.

The champion crashed hard against it, and stepped backwards with both hands pressed to her chest. Storm darted in after her, looking for a clothesline. But the champion ducked the contact, causing Caitlyn to stop herself before she hit the corner herself. She barely had time to turn around before Atherton grabbed her head and dropped her with a reverse DDT. The redhead looked down to see Dante offering advice as he held his chest where he was kicked earlier in the match.

Zack: Some quick thinking by Casey there. She’s got years of experience on Caitlyn, and that’s how she honed those instincts.

Lexi: You’d think with all the years of experience she has, Casey would have a better choice in managers wouldn’t you?

The redhead put the boots to Caitlyn, stomping her repeatedly as she was trying to get back to her feet. The champion pressed her face against the bottom turnbuckle and pressed her foot against the back of her head to smother her. Fisk got to a four count before she stepped off, and then stepped back again. Another four count occurred before she stopped, telling the referee she was helping Caitlyn pray. He wasn’t buying it as she pulled the challenger to her feet. She hooked both arms into a full nelson slam before stacking her legs on top of her to make the cover.

Zack: Helping her pray….Casey better hope the mourners outnumber the cheering section at her funeral. And there’s the cover!

ONE!!!

TW-NO.

Caitlyn kicked out as the two was coming down, and Casey rolled her onto her stomach before hammering elbows into the back of her head. She followed up with a camel clutch submission as Dante shouted to the referee that Caitlyn was quitting and to ring the bell.

Lexi: Shut up Dante! She is not.

Fisk ignored the manager as Casey cranked backwards on the hold, quickly trying to exert the most pressure she could. But the challenger didn’t utter a word about quitting, instead she was trying to pull Casey’s fingers apart to break the hold. But the redhead had a very tight grasp, and the blonde was having a lot of trouble finding an opening. Her eyes began scanning to see where the nearest set of ropes were, finding them well out of reach. Casey encouraged her to stop the match and that the Lord would bless her for doing such a thing.

Lexi: You’d think Casey had never met Caitlyn before if she actually thinks that would work on her. Caitlyn is never going to take advice from Casey.

Zack: No one with any kind of grip on reality would. Or from her manager either, for that matter.

Fisk checked again to see if Caitlyn wanted to stop the match, but she showed no signs of that. Casey tried to add even more pressure, and it was evident how much it hurt by the look on Caitlyn’s face and how much it was reddening. The former fitness instructor reached up and shoved Casey’s index finger into her mouth before she bit into it. The champion shouted in pain and quickly released the hold before getting back to her feet and checking her finger. Storm started to get back to all fours until an annoyed Casey began using double ax handle blows to her back to pound her down to the mat.

Zack: Caitlyn didn’t have a lot of options to escape the camel clutch, and Casey wanted to make sure she still had all her digits.

Lexi: That’s a pretty good escape route if you ask me. It was certainly effective anyway.

Casey took off towards the far side, and rebounded into a guillotine leg drop….that missed when Caitlyn rolled out of the way. The champion crashed on the mat seat first, causing shockwaves up her back and freezing her in place briefly while Caitlyn was getting back to her feet. The blonde’s face showed how much pain she was in, and she took off for the far side as Casey was starting to get back to her feet. Storm rebounded with a bicycle kick that dropped Casey before she dropped down to make the cover.

Zack: Caitlyn’s fighting through the pain and she may have knocked Casey into next week!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOO!!

T-NO!

The champion kicked out as soon as the two landed, and Caitlyn quickly got her back to her feet. She shoved her backwards into the nearest corner before the challenger grabbed the top rope and started firing kicks into her body repeatedly till she collapsed to a seat in the corner.

Lexi: It looks like Caitlyn is trying to make Casey regret kicking out there, and it might work if she keeps up those kicks much longer.

With the fans solidly behind her, Storm took off for the far side and returned with a running knee to the head for the Evolution Champion. She grabbed both of her feet and dragged her out of the corner before catapulting her head first into the top turnbuckle. Casey’s head smacked the corner and sent her stumbling backwards into Caitlyn’s waiting grasp before scooping her up into a Michinoku driver! She followed up with another cover!

Zack: Right on top of her head, Caitlyn’s rallying and we may have a new Evolution Champion in thre–DAMN IT!!

There was no count though as Dante was back on the apron, and the referee was trying to get him down. Caitlyn pounded the mat till she saw what was going on.  She darted towards the pair, and blasted Dante with a spinning backfist that sent him to the floor a second time. The Minneapolis crowd roared in approval as Caitlyn looked down at him with agitation on her face. Casey got herself together during all this and surprised Caitlyn by scooping her up for her Japanese Ocean Cyclone Suplex and dove into the cover!

Zack: You’ve gotta be kidding me! Casey with the HIGHER POWER-PLEX! She’s gonna steal it again!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NO!

Caitlyn got her shoulder off the mat, and Casey looked at the referee as though he had grown a second head. She held up three fingers, but was only shown two in return.

Lexi: Casey isn’t the only resilient one in this match. Caitlyn has the heart of a lion and she doesn’t know the meaning of the word quit!

Casey got back to her feet, and dragged Caitlyn to her feet. She peppered her with forearms before she scooped her up into position for her falcon’s arrow. But Caitlyn seemed to know it was coming and started kicking her feet. Atherton started bending backwards and Caitlyn now had her upside down…and into a tombstone piledriver! She dropped down on top of Casey for the cover.

Zack: A tombstone piledriver! I’ve never seen her use that, and we’re gonna have a new champion in a matter of seconds!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NO.

The champion got her shoulder up at the last second, and Caitlyn looked up to him with a little desperation and fatigue on her face. She pushed back up to her feet, and staggered into the ropes before correcting her balance. Casey began to stir before Caitlyn charged towards her with an ax kick to the back of her head.

Lexi: Caitlyn is so close to fulfilling her dreams, if she can just keep up the pressure a little bit longer.

The Minneapolis crowd was chanting her name louder than ever as she pulled Casey to her feet and delivered her snapmare neckbreaker. She dropped across her again for the cover with the leg hooked this time.

Zack: It’s over, Lexi! EYE OF THE STORM!!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NO!

The referee didn’t finish his count before Dante yanked him out of the ring by the leg. The manager was still suffering from the abuse he’d taken, and the referee read him the riot act before telling him he was being ejected from the ringside area.

Lexi: Oh for pity's sake. Will someone just yeet Dante into the sun or something.

Dante started to protest the decision until Mila headed down to the ring. THe other half of the Unity CHampions got a big pop from the crowd as she made a beeline for Dante, sending him in the other direction before she began walking up the ramp after him. The referee rolled back into the ring as Caitlyn was back to her feet, more irritated than ever. She waved at Casey to get up as Mila had chased Dante out of the arena.

Lexi: Ask and ye shall receive!

Zack: Well done, Mila! I just wish she had gotten here sooner, because we might have already had a new champion without Dante.

When Casey was finally vertical, Caitlyn hit the ropes looking for her springboard spinning heel kick. But Casey ducked, causing Storm to land awkwardly on her feet. That allowed Casey to scoop her up and drop her with her falcon’s arrow. She lunged across her for the cover as Fisk dove into position.

Zack: I don’t believe it! Casey’s gonna steal this, and there’s THE PASSION!! I’ll be damned….

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-WAIT.

Caitlyn got her shoulder off the canvas at the last possible second, and Casey looked up at the referee with daggers in her eyes. She demanded it was a three count, and he disagreed wholeheartedly.

Lexi: Giving the referee the evil eye isn’t going to miraculously make it a three count, Casey. Give it up.

Casey looked to be ready to spit nails now as she got back to her feet. She pulled the challenger up with her into position for another falcon’s arrow, but Caitlyn managed to break free of her grip and land on her feet. Atherton went to grab her again, only for Storm to deliver her snapmare neckbreaker again. It sent the blonde stumbling into the ropes with exhaustion. Casey laid face down on the mat as the crowd was getting louder for the challenger.

Zack: Another EYE OF THE STORM!! Cover her, Caitlyn!!

Lexi: C’mon Caity! You got this!

She tried to catch her breath when she saw Casey beginning to rise again. Storm used the nearby ropes for her springboard spinning heel kick that landed perfectly before she collapsed across her for the cover with both legs hooked.

Zack: STORM RISING!!! She got it, she got it!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

The referee called for the bell to a ROAR from the crowd. Caitlyn rolled off the cover and sat up on her knees. She looked around wide-eyed as though she didn’t know for sure what had just happened…till the referee raised her hand.

Lexi: She did it! I never doubted her for a second, I knew she could!

Kat: Your winner by pinfall……AND NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEWW FFW Evolution CHampion…..CAITLYN STORM!!!!

Zack: Hell yeah! Caitlyn has made history tonight in Minneapolis!!

As she made it back to her feet, the referee handed her the Evolution Championship. She stared at it as she clutched it in her hands. Tears rolled down her cheek as she thrust it into the air to another pop from the crowd as fireworks erupted throughout the Target Center.

Zack: The historic reign of Casey Atherton has come to an end, and I’m not sure Caitlyn even believes it all just yet! We got a new champion!!

Lexi left the booth to congratulate her friend before they were joined by Mila making her second appearance of the night. They all shared a hug before both of Caitlyn’s best friends raised her hands in victory.

Zack: Go ahead, Lexi. Enjoy the moment! There were times I was sure Casey was gonna steal this title defense again and again, but not tonight! Caitlyn Storm is a woman of destiny and packing two damn titles as a result!

Mila and Lexi told Caitlyn how proud they were of her as she laid her Evolution title over her shoulder with a tearful smile on her face. The show then cut to a commercial for the Sin City Spectacular this coming Tuesday.

The history between Kelly and Lacey is shown throughout the years, including their days together in SVW as well as FFW. Then we return to the ring as Kat has her microphone in hand and a leather strap in the other.

Kat: The following contest is a strap match for the FFW Championship! The only way to win is to touch all four corners in succession!

Zack: This is the first time in the history of the FFW Championship that it’s ever been defended in a strap match, fans. We’re making history, and I doubt either one of the two women in this match will leave without feeling the effects of this match for weeks!

Lexi: It’s lucky for both of them that they get some time off after tonight because I am positive that they are going to need it.

The lights dim as the opening bars of Smile by Maisie Peters hit the speakers around the arena.

Got bridges to burn and places to run
Yeah, this smile is a loaded gun

A red spotlight hits the curtain and Kyle Kilmeade walks out and proceeds to hold it open for Lacey to walk through. Stepping onto the stage in front of Kyle, Lacey wears a green and black one piece, which has a deep vee cut all the way to her navel, black fishnet tights and matching green and black boots. She runs her hands down her curves, while giving a little sway of her hips and then stands with her arms folded across her chest and her head lowers.

It's my party, my body, my business
It's my town and my crown and my hitlist
It's my world and you're just living in it
Did I, did I, did I finish?
They are my girls, and it's us who's deciding
It's our door, did we say you're invited?
Leave your name and we'll call if we like it
If we, if we, if we like it

She snaps her head up and flings her arms out at the sides of her in one fluid motion, almost as if someone has just pulled the strings on a puppet. Keeping her gaze straight ahead she slowly smirks before lowering her arms to her sides and making her way down the ramp with Kyle walking beside her.

No more Mrs. Sweet and Miss Nice
No more Mrs. Fuckin' Polite
Time for Mrs. Takin' What's Mine
You don't need him
Got bridges to burn and places to run
Yeah, this smile is a loaded gun

Kat: Making her way to the ring at this time….from parts unknown…..LAAAAACEEEEEY!!!

It's my party, my body, my business
If he tries to control me, he's finished
Won't be crying, there's plenty of fishes
And I, and I, and I'm fishin'
You should know that you won't find another
Who will ruin your life and your brothers
Who will take what she's owed when she wants to
Did I, did I, did I stutter?

Completely ignoring the crowd at either side of the ramp, Lacey speeds up as she reaches the ring and jumps up onto the apron. Taking hold of the top rope with both hands, she slowly and seductively sways her hips and wiggles her way down and back up, almost like a serpent, before springboarding over the top rope. When she lands in the ring she immediately drops down into the splits and stays there for a moment with her arms outstretched. After getting back to her feet, she climbs up onto the top turnbuckle facing the outside. Pulling something from her top she opens her palm and blows the contents into the crowd.

No more Mrs. Sweet and Miss Nice
No more Mrs. Fuckin' Polite
Time for Mrs. Takin' What's Mine
You don't need him
No more Mrs. Lettin' It Slide
No more Mrs. Shut Up and Smile
Time for Mrs. Takin' What's Mine
You don't need him

I got bridges to burn and places to run
Bang, bang and your party's done
Got bridges to burn and places to run
Yeah, this smile is a loaded gun

The lights shut off completely for a second at the end of the theme, when they come back on, Lacey is standing in her corner sharing some last minute words with Kyle.

Zack: Lacey and Kyle spent weeks goading Kelly into this match with those videos trying to embarrass and humiliate her. This is what they were after. They got their wish, but I can’t imagine they thought it’d be in a match like this.

Lexi: You’re assuming they actually thought about the consequences? I get the feeling that they didn’t think that far ahead.

The arena falls dark as the opening of “Blonde, Bad and Beautiful” by Airbourne plays, Kelly explodes upward out of the middle of the stage as though shot out of a cannon, landing a perfect front somersault in a shower of blue sparks. As she lands she holds her title belt high over her head. The girl is joined by Christian Kincaid on the stage. Turning to face her husband, she turns to face him, giving him a big hug as she plants a kiss to his lips. As the music starts to pick up pace once more she starts to run toward the ring, performing a quick cartwheel into a handspring before sliding into the ring underneath the bottom rope. Using the momentum to her advantage, the former acrobat forward rolls to her feet and leaps onto the middle rope. She springboards off the ropes into a backflip and heads towards the corner. The former acrobat runs straight up the pads. Stopping on the top turnbuckle she blows a kiss to the fans, holds her title belt high in the air and then corkscrew flips back to the mat, facing the middle of the ring as she lands.

Kat: From Coney Island, Brooklyn, New York, 5’5 tall, weighs 120 lbs and is accompanied to the ring by Christian Kincaid. She is the reigning and defending FFW Champion...Please welcome...KELLY KINCAID!!!

Zack: It’s been almost a year to the day since Kelly captured the FFW Championship after having her eyes on it for over a decade plus. This is the first strap match either her or Lacey have ever had, which I think doesn’t give either of them any kind of advantage.

Lexi: I agree. I don’t think it gives either any kind of advantage, but you just know with the history between them, Lacey is the LAST person on earth that Kelly will want to pass the FFW Championship to.

Referee Jennifer Stringer takes the title from Kelly and shows it to Lacey before Kat leaves the ring with it. The official then takes one end of the strap and fastens it around Kelly’s wrist. When it’s Lacey’s turn, she doesn’t seem as eager to put it on her wrist. Instead she walks to the next corner and is soon joined by Kyle on the apron. The referee followed after her, telling her the match can’t start till the strap is on her wrist. Lacey finally tells her to let Kyle do it. He hops up onto the apron and Lacey turns to face him as the referee shakes her head.

Zack: I don’t get what the difference is. Whether the referee puts it on or Kyle does, it’s still the same strap and it’s not gonna feel any different when it comes into play.

Lexi: Whatever they’re playing at, you just now there’s some kind of devious plan to it. I think I’d probably faint from shock if either Lacey or Kyle ever played fair.

The referee tried to see what they were doing before Lacey turned on a dime and darted out of the corner towards Kelly, catching her by surprise with a running boot to the chest that nearly knocked her over. Two thumbs to the eyes blinded her as Kelly’s head was pulled down into a flurry of Muay Thai knees that dropped her to her knees before Lacey held her head in place and blasted her with more knees. Kelly tried to move away from her….but it was quickly noticed that Lacey had tied to strap to the top ring rope instead of her wrist!

Lexi: I guess that answers why they wanted Kyle to do it instead of the referee. Do they really think that’s going to win them the match?!

Zack:

Stringer immediately started reading Lacey the riot act as the fans were already booing even louder than they had been for the challenger. “KNEEL BEFORE ME” was shouted by the redhead before she hit the near side ropes and returned with a running boot to Kelly’s face. She raked Kelly’s eyes and face along her bootlaces before dragging Kelly closer to the corner so she could wrap the strap around her neck and choke her with it.

Zack: This isn’t fair at all! Kelly’s tied to the top rope, and Lacey is choking her out with the strap before the bell can even sound!

Lexi: You say that like you actually expected Lacey to be honorable?!

The referee immediately went to the rope and started to unfasten the strap. And as soon as she did, Lacey snatched it out of her hands and connected with lash of the belt buckle across Kelly’s back. The metal buckle caused a small cut as a result before Lacey wrapped the belt around her fist to drive repeated punches into the top of Kelly’s head. Stringer was beside herself at this point as she told Lacey to either put it on or forfeit the match. Lacey flashed a grin to her manager before she agreed and attached it to her wrist. Stringer dropped to a knee to ask Kelly if she wanted to continue or not, but Lacey didn’t give her much time to respond before striking the belt across her back. The blonde grimaced in pain and gritted her teeth before the challenger did it again, this time sending Kelly to all fours as Lacey asked her if she was going to have the match or not. Then another lash of the belt.

Zack: These two absolutely despise each other, there’s no two ways about it! Kelly would be well within her rights not to want to have this match, but Lacey’s goading her into it.

Lexi: There is no way that I can imagine Kelly backing away from a fight, especially not against someone like Lacey. She’s just not built that way.

Lacey started asking her about if she wanted the match now, mocking her as the blonde tried to get up to her feet. Kelly screamed a “YES!” at the referee, and Stringer called for the bell to start the match. Another lash across Kelly’s back landed, freezing her up and causing welts to start to appear before Lacey wrapped the belt around her neck and started pulling her towards the first corner. She slapped it and started towards the second as Kelly pulled at the leather around her neck to be able to breathe. The second corner was slapped by Lacey.

Zack: This could be a very short strap match after how it all began! Lacey’s already halfway to the promised land! Can you imagine her as the FFW Champion?

Lexi: Oh God, don’t even put that out into the universe, Zack. I can’t think of much worse.

The Minneapolis crowd was getting behind Kelly much more loudly at this point as Lacey was close to her third corner. The blonde turned towards and grabbed her head from behind into a backstabber. That stopped her briefly, and caused the referee to wave off her count. With Lacey starting to move, Kelly began unwrapping the strap from around her neck. And as soon as the redhead was on her feet, it was Kelly’s turn to start lashing away at Lacey’s back. She landed three shots before a fourth across her legs brought Lacey to her knees. Kelly rebounded off the near side and came back with a Thesz press before unloading with furious right hands to Lacey’s head.

Zack: Lacey went for those corners too early, and Kelly’s got control now! Look at those blistering right hands from the FFW Champion!

Lexi: Lacey might be regretting how she started this match… and if she’s not yet, I’m sure Kelly will make her before she’s done with her.

The challenger managed to roll her off, causing Kelly to get back to her feet. Lacey started to do the same before Kelly hit the ropes again, this time with a clothesline using the strap across the challenger’s chest. Kelly rose back to her feet and returned to lashing the redhead, this time across her body and chest. She wrapped the belt around her hand to deliver a standing fist drop to her face.

Zack: This match is barely a few minutes old, and that leather strap has seen a helluva lot of use from both of these women. Neither of their bodies are gonna be the same for ages after this!

Lexi: I hope they have ice on standby for when this is done, because I think they’re gonna need a ton of it.

Kelly wrapped the leather belt around Lacey’s feet and then pulled the strap over her shoulder as she began dragging the redhead to the first corner. She slapped it and started to head for the second one. Another slap gave her two corners. When Kelly got to the third one, she slapped it but Lacey managed to hook her arm around the bottom rope., causing the champion to be unable to move much further. Kincaid turned around to see what was stopping her before Lacey rolled out of the ring to the floor and breaking the count.

Zack: As much as Lacey prides herself on her appearance, she’s not gonna be doing any photoshoots for a while. And now she’s broken Kelly’s progress, which means she’ll have to start all over again.

Lexi: Plus the Champion needs to get her back into the ring before she can even think about starting over.

Lacey tried to head towards the ramp but Kelly yanked the other end of the strap. It jerked the challenger into the apron back first before Kincaid used a baseball slide to her back to knock her to the floor. Kelly had the fans solidly behind her as she pulled Lacey up and whipped her towards the steps. The redhead managed to stop herself in time, but a running bulldog that smacked her face off the top step dropped her anyway.

Zack: Kelly’s getting some well earned payback, but she can’t retain at ringside. Right now though, I don’t think she’s even thinking about the title at the moment.

Lexi: There’s a lot of pent up frustration in Kelly all aimed towards Lacey, and honestly, who can blame her?

Kincaid pulled her up enough to roll her back in the ring. But Lacey rolled back out around the corner, barely landing on her feet before she yanked Kelly forward. The strap sent Kelly into the steps and the post as well, giving Lacey a chance to get herself together. Another hard yank of the strap sent Kelly into it again as Kyle moved around to tend to his client. He whispered something into her ear before Lacey slithered back into the ring. She dragged Kelly in with her before sitting on her lower back with a camel clutch, except the strap was wrapped around her neck as she pulled back and was choking Kelly as a result.

Zack: Kelly’s being choked out by this strap, and the worst part for her is that the referee is powerless to stop it. She’s only there to count turnbuckles for either of them!

Lexi: I guess it would probably be easier to drag an unconscious opponent around the ring to slap the turnbuckles than a struggling one.. And it looks like that’s what Lacey is aiming for.

Lacey arched back even further to tighten the strap around Kelly’s throat, causing the blonde to pull at it with her fingers as she gasped for breath. Christian watched with obvious concern  as Lacey managed to stretch a little further. Kelly’s hands fell to the mat finally and she wasn’t showing much signs of life before Lacey let go. The challenger got to her feet with a grin on her face before she reached over to slap the nearest turnbuckle.

Zack: I think she’s choked Kelly out entirely. I’m not seeing any signs of life currently, and we may be seconds away from crowning a new FFW Champion!

Lexi: It might take Lacey more than a few seconds to make her way around the ring with an unconscious Kelly attached to the strap… and hopefully that will give Kelly enough time to come round and stop her.

Lacey dragged Kelly with very little trouble at all to the next corner and tapped it. She glanced behind her to see Kelly still wasn’t moving too much before she began dragging her body towards the third. Another tap of the turnbuckle, and Kyle was very happy now as he moved to the final corner and waved her towards him. Christian darted around to where his wife was, and tried to talk to her as Lacey began the final leg of her journey. As Lacey was halfway there, Kelly reached out and grabbed the bottom rope with her hand. Lacey looked behind her with a cold glare as she tried to yank her loose…without much success.

Zack: Lacey is practically within spitting distance of the fourth corner, but all that dragging seems to have gotten Kelly back into this match! If she can get her loose, we’re gonna crown a new FFW Champion!

Lexi: Kelly’s awake and that’s only going to spell disappointment for Lacey. Kelly isn’t going to let her get to that last turnbuckle if she has anything at all to do with it.

Kelly, however, had a deathgrip on the bottom rope. She began trying to drag Lacey backwards as she got to her hands and knees. Lacey tried to pull her again without much success before she doubled back…and got caught in a drop toe hold to the canvas. Kelly quickly applied a rear naked choke on the challenger as the referee waved off Lacey’s progress! Kyle’s eyes widened as he saw Lacey lose her progress and get caught in the submission. The fans started getting loud again as Lacey kicked her foot across the bottom rope out of instinct.

Zack: Lacey’s in the ropes, but it doesn’t matter in a strap match. Kelly doesn’t have to let her go for any reason, and we’re back at square one as far as making progress in the corners.

Lexi: It looks like Kelly is going to take a page out of Lacey’s book and see how she likes being on the opposite end of the equation.

Kyle watched on as Kelly didn’t have to keep the hold applied very long after everything they had had put each other through. When Lacey stopped fighting and seemed limp in Kelly’s grip, she let go and rose back to her feet. Kincaid leaned against the ropes to pull herself together as the welts on her skin were very visible now. Christian gave her some advice and encouragement as she started towards the nearest corner and tapped it. Sliding along the ropes, she pulled the lifeless Lacey to the second corner and tapped that one. The third was tapped seconds later before Kelly grabbed a bottle of water off the announce desk and darted to throw the contents in Lacey’s face as Kelly was heading for the fourth corner!  Christian headed towards him immediately.

Zack: That was my water, Kyle! And I think Kelly’s about to retain the richest prize in women’s wrestling in a matter of seconds!

Lexi: It’s a shame he didn’t take mine instead… there’s lemon in it so it maybe would have hindered rather than helped!

The cold water was working before Lacey raised her head up, seeing where she was as Kyle grabbed her hands from the outside to stop Kelly. The challenger realized what was going on just as Christian rounded the corner to get the manager. Kyle let go and took off again as Lacey started pulling the strap towards her and trying to yank Kelly back. It wasn’t working though, and the redhead scrambled to her feet and spun Kelly around into a spinebuster. Then both women lay on the mat trying to get themselves together. The referee waved off the champion’s progress.

Zack: Kelly and Lacey both have been within inches of leaving with the FFW Championship in this match, but we’re back at square one once again.

Both women started to rise at about the same time, and it was Kelly who landed the first blow with a forearm to the head. Lacey landed one of her own, but the champion ducked it and grabbed her head into her headlock driver! The fans came to their feet as Kelly lay on the mat, once again trying to get her breath back.

Zack: CLIPPED WINGS!! If pinfalls were legal in this match, I think it’d be over right about now! BUt Kelly has to get to all four corners again to leave with the gold!

Lexi: If Kelly can make it to all four corners in 3 seconds it’ll be the same difference… just about. C’mon Kelly!

Kelly made it back to her feet, and glanced down to Lacey. She looked like she was about to start dragging her again, but instead she hoisted her up onto her shoulders instead. The champion moved forward to the nearest corner, and slapped it to start the process over again. Lacey brushed her hand against it as Kelly turned to the next corner. Another tap from the champion and Lacey waved her hand weakly to tap it as Kelly turned. The champion made it to the third corner, another tap..and one from Lacey too.

Zack: Wait a minute. I’m not sure Kelly realizes….Lacey’s touching those corners as they go…she looks half conscious!

Lexi: Oh.. no. I have a bad feeling about this. Lacey only needs to touch the last turnbuckle before Kelly and she’ll steal it right from under the Champion’s nose.

As Kelly approached the fourth corner, Lacey was beginning to struggle before the champion used a Samoan drop to send her into the canvas. The blonde sat up slowly and slapped the fourth corner to a pop as the bell rang.

Lexi: Kelly wasn’t about to leave anything to chance there! And just as well!

Zack: Tell’em about it, Kat!

Kat: Your winner of the strap match….AND STIIIIIIIIIIIIILL FFW Champion……KELLY KINCAID!!!

Christian took the title from Kat before heading into the ring to help Kelly back to her feet. He unfastened the strap from her wrist, and returned her title to her. The marks were all over her body from the leather belt as she took it and raised it over her head to the joy of the fans.

Zack: For the first time in FFW history, the FFW title was on the line in a strap match! A match that benefited neither of these two women, but Kelly did what champions do and found a way to win! And the first year of Kelly’s reign as FFW Champion is completed!

Lexi: You can hear just how happy this crowd is that she managed to prevail, and I’m sure she’s on a massive high right now.

Zack: We’ll see you Tuesday for Future Shock’s Sin City Spectacular! Kelly stays on top and good night from the Twin CIties!

Kelly climbed the corner, raising her title above her head with both hands as Christian applauded her in the ring. And that was the final image as Red Alert faded off the air on FFW All Access.
