The instrumental version of “Boom” by the X Ambassadors starts to play as we see a sign welcoming the viewers to Atlantic City, New Jersey from inside a car driven by Jake Chandler. Then we see several of the sights of the city, including the beach, the boardwalk, many of the visitors and finally a casino full of people. One, in particular, in the crowd of people is Ashley Marie Chase. The camera spins around to find the newly appointed Director of Future Shock Jake Chandler as he’s overlooking the casino floor through a large glass window. Dressed in a black shirt and pants, he turns to face the camera.

Jake: Hi, everyone. Welcome to the latest edition of After Shock. I’m your host as well as the Director of Future Shock Jake Chandler. As you can tell, I’m on location again for the show. I’m here at the spectacular Bally’s Atlantic City Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey.  I want to thank the staff here who have been absolutely gracious with me coming for a visit and bringing the show with me. I encourage you to come visit the place the next time you’re anywhere near here.

The camera shows a quick shot of people playing the games of chance on the floor below before Jake begins to speak again.

Jake: A lot went on during the last edition of Future Shock, I’m sure you’d agree. We started the Race to Go Nova, which is whoever has three wins first between River Campbell, Delilah, Cameron and Luci gets the next shot at the Nova Championship. Luci and Dedlilah are now tied at 1 win a piece with River needing to make up after what happened during her match to DOC.

A short clip shows DOC reviving River and getting nailed in the back by Delilah and her also crushing his eyeglasses after her countout victory. Then we go back to Jake.

Jake: I want to let you all know that DOC is going to be fine. He suffered some bruising on his chest and back, which isn’t surprising when it’s a man well into his 70s. I also took him to get new eyeglasses the day after the show, my treat. He picked out a pair he liked a lot and were even nicer than the ones he had, and I was all too happy to pay for it. You’ll see him on the next Shockwave with River.

He added with a smile as we see a selfie of the two together at an eyeglass store with DOC’s new frames.

Jake: Also on the show, we got confirmation on some rather big matches coming up for both Forsaken and the Fatale Royale. On top of that, it was revealed that I’m bringing back the Adrenaline Championship once sought after in SVW, which was always my favorite division in that promotion. I’ll be making a few tweaks to things when we start things off though.

Then we see a picture of the title on the screen.

Jake: Doesn’t that look great? I think the designer I commissioned in Syracuse has been doing a stellar job with it. I’m not going to go through every detail from the show, but I do encourage you to go watch it if you missed it. It’s up ad free on FFW All Access, so you’re welcome to check it out or go sign up for your subscription if you don’t already have one.  Just scan the QR code on your screen and it’ll take you right to the sign-up page.

A QR code appears next to Jake as he speaks.

Jake: Go check out the show and find out more about those matches I mentioned like the 8 woman elimination tag match at Forsaken or the massive Unstoppable 10 rematch now confirmed for the Fatale Royale in August. But more immediately, we should talk about the next edition of Future Shock. That show will be June 4th from the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York. And I’ve put together a pretty strong card, to say the least. It’ll all be capped off by the main event for the Future Shock Nova Championship when the 2024 Global Wars winner Jamie Winters cashes in her prize to challenge Arabella Townshend.

Jake: I suspect the fans will be split down the middle for this one as two of Future Shock’s favorites face off for the first time with one of the most prestigious titles in the brand up for grabs. But Arabella won’t be the only champion on the show that you’ll see in the ring.

Jake: The reigning Diamond Champion Luna Cortez will meet a former Anarchy Champion, namely Madyson Stone. The title won’t be on the line here, but I think this will give them both quite the challenge. Luna’s been wanting a new opponent after her issues with Constance, well you she has one now. And for those of you who follow me on X, you know Madyson was my first entrant I named for the Fatale Royale in August. I think this match could be a main event as much as the one already named. But there’s still more!

Jake: With the Adrenaline Championship soon to be a mainstay in Future Shock, I wanted to give our fans a preview of what they can expect when that title is officially ready to go. So I put together a match between two women who I feel will be mainstays and focal points in the division, especially given their unique styles and talents. And as you can see, that’s Angelina Fantastica and Nadia Beaulieu. I honestly feel like this could be a main event too with two highly decorated women on this roster, who I’m sure both would like to see themselves as Future Shock’s first Adrenaline Champion.

Jake: You’ll also see Sapphire Taylor of the Gemstones take on Constance McCullough. These are two women who want a chance to shine, and they’ll have that. Constance came within an eyelash of becoming the new Diamond Champion at Global Wars, which I think we’d all agree except for maybe Luna. Sapphire’s struggled a bit too, but no reason she can’t turn her fortunes around in Buffalo. Good luck to both women.

Jake starts walking as he plays with a roll of chips in his hand.

Jake: That’s the card for Future Shock’s 153rd episode June 4th in Buffalo. I also want to congratulate all the women who won awards in the Future Shock Awards for 2024. We had a huge turnout in terms of voting and loads of very logical nominees. I’m proud of all of them and our fans for continuing to support the brand for all these years. None of it is possible without you. I hope all of you watching will join us on the 4th as we continue the road towards the Fatale Royale coming in August. I appreciate you watching as always, and I’ll see you in Buffalo. Now if you'll excuse me, I think I'll go play a few games and enjoy myself while I'm here in Atlantic City.

He says with a smile as he walks past the camera, clinking the chips in his hand before we fade to a recap of the matches now official for the next show. Then After Shock fades to black.
