Location: Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York
November 30, 2024

Official Theme:

The FFW logo is shown in graffiti on the side of a building before the camera finds itself in front of Savannah and Seth Star as they head into an electronics store somewhere in the heart of New York City. Soon they find themselves at a wall of televisions, small and large screens as the center shows Vivi Traeger becoming the new FFW Champion at Unstoppable 15. “Sabotage” by the Beastie Boys begins to play.

I can't stand it, I know you planned it
I'm gonna set it straight, this Watergate
I can't stand rocking when I'm in here
'Cause your crystal ball ain't so crystal clear

Seth points to other screens that show Savannah’s recent victories over Vivi Traeger in singles matches as well as a tag match, all of which brings a confident smirk to her face before the couple walks away. Two screens flicker and show Tara Cortez and Raven Knight watching and seemingly looking towards each other.

So, so, so, so listen up 'cause you can't say nothin'
You'll shut me down with a push of your button?
But you, I'm out and I'm gone
I'll tell you now, I keep it on and on

Next we see clips from all the recent qualifying matches to become the next Phoenix Champion, showing how Cait Flanagan, Valerie McKinley and Scarlett Silver earned their ways into the triple threat tonight before we see the shining Phoenix Championship on a pedestal as all three approach it. Next is the history of Robbyn Helmsley and the Evolution Championship until she captures it again at Unstoppable But a faint image of Mara Werth is imposed behind her looking over her shoulder.

'Cause what you see you might not get
And we can bet, so don't you get souped yet
You're scheming on a thing that's a mirage
I'm trying to tell you now, it's sabotage

Then we go live inside the arena as fireworks erupt from the stage and all four ring posts as “Sabotage” plays over the PA system. The fans in the arena make a tremendous amount of noise as the camera shows all of them. The next shot finds Zack and Gaby in the broadcast booth.

Zack: 15,813 fans have sold out the Barclays Center in the heart of New York City here in Brooklyn, New York! Welcome to the first ever Sabotage event here on FFW All Access, and thank you for joining us wherever you are around the world. I’m Zack Hudson, and this is the “Commentary Cat” Gabrielle Crimson. Gaby, welcome back to the Big Apple!

Gaby: I used to live not too far away from here, in Prospect Park – a 10-minute ride in the Q Line – and it feels like I never left! Welcome to Brooklyn, New York, for Breaking Point’s roster’s final show ever!... Before it changes into the new brand, Atomic, on January 11, of course!

Zack: 4 championships will be decided, and no shortage of grudges hopefully settled. We’re gonna be kicking things off with the FFW Undisputed Tag Titles on the line as two of the most underhanded teams in the company meet for the gold: Latina Heat and Prophecy. Who do you like in that one?

Gaby: None of them, and the crowd is with me here! Both teams are made of rogues who couldn’t care less about playing it straight! Latina Heat brings their undefeated streak of two-plus years, and the Prophecy brings a level of violence that they haven’t had to deal with before! Is today the day that the greatest of upheavals happens in the Tag Team division?

Zack: We will find out what happens when Robbyn Helmsley faces what I think will be her toughest challenge since she returned to FFW when she defends her coveted Evolution Championship against Mara Werth! It’s one of those occasions where I think the champion may be the underdog, Gaby.

Gaby: And it won’t be the only time tonight! But more on that later. Mara gave up the Phoenix Championship, the belt with which she enjoyed one hell of a run, in order to achieve even greater heights, and in spite of the cordiality between champ and challenger on social media, there’s a big chance the meteoric rise of Robbyn to the Evolution Championship may get caught in the backfoot as she takes on the Jailbird!

Zack: What about the Phoenix Championship? Mara vacated that title to have the match she has tonight, but we have 3 women all looking to be the next one. I think Scarlett Silver is in massive trouble as she faces Valerie McKinley and Cait Flanagan, both of whom are under the management of Kyle Kilmeade.

Gaby: It’s gonna be a long night to be the Star Distraction, but either way, the Phoenix Championship will go home with one of those… far-from-fan-favorites, we could say. The question now becomes, will Cait and Valerie be able to put personal glory above teamwork for half a match or are we gonna watch everything go legs up as soon as the bells ring?

Zack: Speaking of Kyle, he may finally get what’s coming to him tonight. Crystal Caldwell will face off with “Sensational” Stacey Sky in a Forsaken rematch. If Sky wins, she and Cassandra will get a shot at the tag titles. If Crystal wins though, she gets five minutes one on one with Kilmeade! If that happens, he’ll never be the same.

Gaby: Everyone wants to see it happen, even if it’s for all the wrong reasons! Crystal’s been obsessed with Kyle for over a year now, and he’s been ready to put it behind him for… well, over a year now. But the more Crystal comes a-knocking, the more guardians Kyle comes up with, and this time the Winter Rose has to deal with the hairthin temper of Team Kyle’s former cheerleader. And if math serves me right, we’ve already mentioned three of Kyle’s girls just in this recap, and we’re not nearly done! After all, as we all know, a Typhoon made landfall not long ago!

Zack: It’ll be the return to the ring of Bianca Salvador after her surprising appearance at Unstoppable 15. She had an open challenge for tonight, and who took it? A woman who’s been taking a lot of them lately: the returning legend herself in the form of Emma Mackenzie.

Gaby: Two women that made their returns not too long ago – Emma fought her first match in years on Unstoppable, the same event Bianca made herself seen as she took the side of Josephine Star! Now the former No Surrender Champion, the Franchise Player, takes on the iconic FFW, Ultraviolence and Unity Champion that is the Hitwoman in a match for the history books!

Zack: A number one contender match for the FFW Championship is on the card when Tara Cortez faces Raven Knight. Cortez owns wins over everyone in the title picture currently EXCEPT Raven. If she can pull this one off, there’s no question who should be next. But that’s a lot easier said than done.

Gaby: Raven made her return to FFW after sustaining injuries during her ladder match with Kelly Kincaid in Sweden, and she made no qualms about what the order of business is – burn it all to the ground! Tara Cortez, though… She wants none of that. And it’s still weird to me that Tara Cortez, the woman who conned FFW for over two years, is the hero of this story!

Zack: And none bigger tonight than the FFW Championship when Savannah Star challenges Vivi Traeger. The “Las Vegas Siren” has had Vivi’s number again and again for the past year, Gaby. If she can do it again tonight, she’ll end Vivi’s reign on her first defense and finally achieve what she’s been chasing for years!

Gaby: Many have been the attempts Savannah has taken to become FFW Champion! She was in the main event of Unstoppable before fighting for that belt! But Vivi has cut the line using the Fatale Royale prize, and suddenly, she’s surrounded by enemies! Tonight is the chance the All-Mother has to prove it wasn’t a fluke! Like I said, it’s the champion on the backfoot tonight, with the hungry eyes of the Immolator and the Fiend of Fort Worth watching closely!

Zack: What a night it’s going to be as FFW wraps up a chaotic 2024 tonight in Brooklyn! I see that our Aussie annunciator is in the ring, so let’s send it up to Kat Grayson and kick this thing off!

The show cuts to the ring and finds Kat Grayson standing in the center with an elegant black dress on, not to mention smiling as she hears the crowd before she begins the opening introductions.

Kat: The opening contest of Sabotage is a tag team match scheduled for one fall to a finish, and it is for the FFW Undisputed Tag Team Championship!

Zack: We’re kicking things off with our first title match of the night, and I have no idea what to expect from this aside from a lot of chaos. Neither of these teams are especially beloved by the fans, to say the least. We also don’t have a referee out here yet, God help that poor soul.

Gaby: We’re getting the rogues’ gallery out of the way first, maybe so the fans can share more love than disdain later on? Regardless, this is one of the two title matches tonight that I’m sure the Faithful will be cheering for the giant meteor, and whichever team wins this match, they will claim themselves to BE the giant meteor.

The arena dims down to a darkened state as the entrance fills with smoke and red lights start to move around the stage.  Random photos of both Maddison Knight and Rori Mackenzie start to flash on the tron, Maddison working out in very short clips interrupted by photos of Rori standing by an armory looking as if she’s choosing a weapon.

I've got that lightnin' inside me
Son of a God
I'm like a titan that's risin'
Oh, just you watch
I'm steppin' into fate
There is no time to waste
I've got that lightnin' inside me

The lights stop roaming and land center stage, and the photos on the tron stop moving as the word Prophecy is spelled out. Both Maddison and Rori appear from the smoke, much to the hate of the crowd, Rori with a slight smirk, and Maddison looking like she’s ready for war, both girls staring daggers towards the ring. As the music starts to pick up the girls start to slowly move towards the ring, ignoring the arena full of booing fans.

I'm crankin' up on the throttle
Victory is mine
Show you the harder the battle
The harder I fight
I've come too far to quit
Step back I'm goin' in
I'm crankin' up on the throttle

The girls make their way to the steps of the Ring and Rori is the first to walk up them as Maddison springs up onto the ring apron grabbing the middle rope and looking out into the crowd before she sits on the middle rope and opens the ropes for her best friend.

This is how legends are made

Kat : In the ring, from Manhattan New York, this is PROPHECCCCYYYYYYYYYYY. MADDISON KNIGHT AND RORI MACKENZIE!

Maddison and Rori get into the ring Rori through the ropes and Maddi up and over the top rope looking around the ring and then to one another as they finally show some form of emotion by smirking to one another, and disregarding anyone else in the ring, waiting for the tag match to begin.

Zack: I think we’ll both agree that Prophecy has really run roughshod over several women in FFW, singles and tag combined, since returning earlier in the year. Now they could be the team that finally dethrones the champions, who have yet to be pinned or submitted. Also still no referee, if anyone backstage is on top of that.

Gaby: Apart from the fact neither of these teams are really loved by the crowd, and this is gonna be one hell of a hostile ride for… everyone, we need to look at the hard numbers, and those make for a great story! The Prophecy basically destroyed everything that was in their path and ascended to this match as indisputably credible contenders for the championships they fight for tonight. Other teams may have thought they had what it took to step up to the plate, but Rori and Maddi have been solid, reliable and competitive, and they may prove to be Latina Heat’s toughest competition to date.

As the music hits a spotlight lights up the entranceway, picking up both girls as they dance out onto the middle of the stage, feet moving quickly and hips swaying, both have red roses in their hair, tucked behind an ear and their title belts around their waist. The pair pause at the top of the entrance ramp, striking a pose back to back, grinning at the crowd before Dani starts to head towards the ring while Fran dances in place on the stage. Dani’s hips continue to sway as she keeps her feet on the floor while dancing down to the ring, hands moving around her body to accentuate and draw attention to her figure. As she reaches the halfway point, her partner skips down after her, before showing off with a back flip and a no-hand cartwheel.

Kat: Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome your FFW UNDISPUTED TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS OF THE WORLD!!! The extraordinary, the amazing, the incredible team of “The Divine” Dani Ruiz and “Fuego Furiousa” Frani Garcia… LATINA HEAT!!!

When Garcia makes it to the bottom of the entrance ramp, she chooses a guy in the front row, flirting with him a little bit before she takes the flower from her hair and presents it to him...only to crush the flower in her head before spinning away. She darts towards Dani as the girl stands by the ring apron, using her to leapfrog onto the apron and immediately drop into the splits before she slithered backwards into the ring, rolling back and coming to her feet where Frani hopped up onto the middle rope, leaning forward and blowing a kiss to the crowd, telling the guys this was as close as they were ever going to get. While she did so, her partner launched herself underneath the bottom rope into the ring, rolling onto her back as she did so and kipped up onto her feet. She pulled a muscle pose for the crowd, showing off her abs before pulling the flower from her hair and tossing it carelessly to the floor. The two women hug before unfastening the title belts from their waists, executing a title high five before heading back towards their corner as they decide who will start, passing the title belts to the referee as they did so.

Zack: After screwing over Target Acquired twice for the tag titles, Latina Heat are about to take on a team I don’t think that they can even be prepared to face. Their past challengers have all had some kind of moral code. The challengers tonight aren’t the slightest bit bothered with playing by the rules.

Gaby: Some of them may have been somewhat mischievous, but the Prophecy brings a level of violence that the Heat may have to adapt their style around. Something tells me that if they frolic around with bullshit lucha masks or swing the timekeeper’s hammer around, all they’ll end up doing is making Rori and Maddi want to bite their faces off. So our referee is gonna have their hands full for this match… whoever it is…?

Kat: Ladies and gentlemen, this match has been assigned a special guest referee. Please welcome Staten Island’s own SHAOLIN STUNNA….ANGELINA FANTASTICA!

The stage is bathed in pink light as “Raise Your Glass” by Pink starts playing. After a moment, Angelina Fantastica comes out in a tied off referee’s top and black shorts before she darts towards the ring. She slides under the bottom rope and pops up in the center, looking between both teams with a smirk on her face.

Zack: Well now, look who’s gonna be in charge of the action! If anyone knows what kind of nonsense to look out for, it’s gonna be Angelina! I think we have a case here of the fans being more of a fan of the referee than the wrestlers in a match, Gaby.

Gaby: Who’d have thought it! The Heart of Future Shock is the enforcer, and perhaps the saving grace of this madness of a match! Things have just gotten more interesting a thousandfold, Z.

Angelina snatches the tag titles away from Latina Heat without their approval in the slightest before she looks them over for a moment. She then shows them to the challengers and raises them over her head. Kat takes them with her before the Shaolin Stunna calls for the bell, and it’s Rori who starts for the challengers as Francesca does so for her team. Garcia gives Angelina a dirty look, given their history. And as the referee asks her if she has a problem, Rori goes on offense and charges towards the brunette with a running forearm to the side of her head. Three more land in quick succession before she drags her face over the top rope to blind her, and drops her with a side Russian leg sweep.

Zack: There’s a lot of history between Angelina and the Heat, and it’s already manifesting here. See what I mean, fans? Rori isn’t worried about playing by the rules at all, neither team is!

Gaby: And I have the sneaky suspicion that… to a certain degree, neither is Angelina.

Francesca starts to get back to her feet, only to have a barrage of elbows across the back of her head put her down to a knee. Rori bounces off the nar side to deliver an ax kick to the back of her head to put her down again. She drops down to the mat, and applies a front facelock before using a gator roll around the ring. Rori finally pulled her back to her feet, still in the front facelock before she drove her knee into her face and body repeatedly. Meanwhile, Angelina was propped up in the corner watching.

Zack: I have a feeling Angelina’s gonna let these two teams do their worst. She’s not fond of either of them, while Rori is pummeling Francesca.

Gaby: She’s one of us, right? Someone rooting for the giant meteor or something? Look, I’m here for a wrestling match and I’d love to see these teams open our PPV with an instant classic, but let’s be honest, there’s no party inside the ring right now that’s actually interested in that.

The blonde dragged her back to her team’s corner to make the tag, still holding Garcia in place as Maddison stepped inside the ring. The pair joined forces in scooping Francesca up into a front suplex that caused her to double over the top rope. As the tag champion dangled there, Knight hit the far side and left her feet for a guillotine leg drop that snapped her off the ropes back into the ring before she made the cover. Angelina slid into position to count.

Zack: Maddison with perfect timing there, and already looking to send her and Rori home with tag team gold!

ONE!!

TW-NO.

Garcia kicked out in time, and Maddison hammered her with elbows to the side of her head before she got back to her feet. She pulled her back to her feet, and fired her into the far neutral corner, causing Garcia to crash chest first as Knight rebounded off the near side ropes with a discus lariat to put her down again.

Gaby: Knight isn’t leaving any room for a breather! A relentless assault on Frani García, the way it’s supposed to be!

The New Yorker dragged her back to her feet, firing her into her team’s corner this time. And while Rori grabbed Francesca’s hair to keep her from getting away, Knight charged towards her with a running boot to the jaw. Dani, in the other corner, was complaining to Angelina about it, prompting the two to get into a war of words while Mackenzie wrapped the tag rope around Francesca’s neck to choke her while Maddison fired relentless kicks into her body.

Zack: It’s hard to feel any kind of sympathy for Latina Heat, because this is the exact kind of thing they do in their other matches. To nicer girls it couldn’t happen, if you ask me.

Gaby: And with our special ref here just letting it happen, one’s gotta wonder if Francesca’s starting to wonder if she’s being made to pay for her sins.

Angelina turned back to the action, immediately getting onto Rori’s case before she let Francesca go. Knight followed up with chops to the tag champion’s chest before a snapmare out of the corner put her back on the mat. She hopped up onto the second turnbuckle from the inside, looking for a knee drop. But Francesca rolled out of the way, and let her hit the mat instead. That stopped the New Yorker in her tracks for a moment as Francesca made it back to her feet, raking her eyes with both hands before bouncing off the near side ropes with a drive-by kick to the side of her head.

Zack: One error from the challengers has put Francesca on offense. She may want to consider getting a tag to Dani here, or she may just want to give out receipts.

Gaby: It’s hard to tell what’s going on in her mind, but under the normal circumstances, this would be the time I’d say a tag would be the optimal move. But we’re not under normal circumstances right now.

Several stomps to the back of her head followed that before she stepped on Maddison’s hair and pulled up on her arms. It caused the challenger considerable pain as Angelina started her five count. Francesca dropped her at four, and complained that Angelina was favoring Prophecy, which got an incredulous expression in response. Maddison started to get back to her feet, but got rocked with a spinning back elbow to the jaw from Garcia. She hooked her head, and delivered a corner bulldog into the Heat’s corner before making the tag to Daniela.

Zack: I haven’t seen any favoritism from Angelina at all. She doesn’t like either of these two teams, to my knowledge. So far, she’s been right down the middle. What do you think, Gabbers?

Gaby: They’re letting the two teams just go at one another, and quite honestly, it’s the best way to deal with them. Not to mention, Angelina knows how to deal with bullshit like the best of them, and she’s not gonna take it lying down if push comes to shove.

Ruiz joined with her partner as they whipped Knight across for the ride. As Garcia scooped her up into the air on the rebound, Daniela springboarded off the near side ropes into a lungblower that crashed Maddison into the mat before she made the cover. Angelina slid into position to make the count!

Zack; An elevated lungblower, and Dani’s time in this match is gonna be extra short because I think it might be over!

ONE!!

TWOOOO!!!

TH-NO.

But the count was broken up by Rori with a stomp to the back of Ruiz’s head. As Angelina went to get her out of the ring, Dani sat Maddi on the middle turnbuckle with her legs wrapped around each rope. She backed up a few steps, and delivered a running punt to that turnbuckle into Knight’s groin before she crumbled to the mat.

Gaby: OOF! Of course they’d go for the “while the ref isn’t looking” strats, even if the ref is someone who would sooner watch these two teams destroy one another!

Angelina went back to the match after Rori got out of the ring, while Daniela tagged her partner back into the match. Ruiz scooped Knight onto her shoulders as Francesca climbed up to the top rope for a bulldog that drove the New Yorker to the mat. She tagged Daniela right back into the ring again, causing her to head towards Rori to antagonize her…at least until Rori spit in her face from the corner.

Zack: Dani’s trying to get under Rori’s skin here, but she’s not the legal woman in this match. I think I’d focus on trying to put Maddison away, if I were her.

Gaby: Again… Not the normal circumstances. Do you think these teams are operating on the belief their usual mind games will still work when across the ring from them is another team that can be just as vicious and carefree?

As Dani argued with Rori, Maddison was using the ropes to get back to her feet. Francesca tried to catch her with a cheap shot before Knight snapped her neck across the top rope and sent her to the floor. She quickly tried to pull herself together as Dani doubled back to go get her, and caught a standing sidekick to the body that stopped her in her tracks. Knight vaulted forward with her doubled over into a yoshi tonic before going for the win! The special referee was immediately in position to make the count.

Zack: Maddison fought off Francesca and drilled Dani, and we could be close to crowning brand new tag champions!

ONE!!

TWOOOOOO!!!

THRE-NOO.

But Ruiz kicked out in time before the three count. Knight rolled over and started to head for her corner as Rori had her hand out. She made the tag as Mackenzie bounded over the top rope into the ring. Dani got to her feet, only to run into a bicycle kick from Rori that sent her into the corner.

Gaby: No time to waste between them! We have to give the devils their due, this is how you deal with people that can be vicious cheats: you don’t let up on the offense!

Mackenzie backed up a few steps and charged in with a running European uppercut before climbing the corner, and bashing her with ten elbows to the head followed by an eye gouge before she dropped down to the mat. The blonde yanked her into a flatliner before rolling her over for the cover before Fantastica was in position to count the fall.

Zack: Rori came in with a vengeance with visions of the Undisputed Tag Titles dancing in her head! There’s the cover!

ONE!!

TWOOOO!!

THRE-NOO!!

The count never finished as Francesca was back in the ring, dragging Rori off the cover by her foot.

Gaby: And Garcia just says “yeah, nope, get back here for a second.”

The blonde got to a vertical base, and used a headbutt to Garcia to send her stumbling backwards. But as she turned back around, Dani caught her with a clothesline as Frani used a chop block simultaneously to take her to the mat. The girls gave each other a high five before Maddison re-entered the ring and caught Francesca with a meteora off the top rope, and began unloading right hands into her head. Angelina tried to separate them before Dani pulled the brunette up by the hair, then scooping her arms into a full nelson slam.

Zack: I was wondering when this was gonna happen, Gaby. It’s starting to break loose now, and chaos is where BOTH of these teams have proven to thrive!

Gaby: And most surprising to me is, Angelina is trying to do a rightful ref’s job! And much as I may love the girl, I don’t think that’s gonna work!

While Angelina went to get Knight out, Dani pulled Rori to her feet and sat her up on the top turnbuckle. She executed a superplex from there before floating over on top of her for the cover, but Maddison was still keeping Angelina’s attention. Ruiz  pounded the mat for the count as Angelina heard it and responded by diving into position to make it.

Zack: Maddison was intentionally keeping Angelina’s attention, and you see why now! The Heat are gonna retain the gold!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEE-NO.

But Rori still kicked out in time before the three count landed. Daniela got to her feet, and started getting on Angelina’s case. She shoved the referee, only to get shoved right back before they went nose to nose.

Gaby: And THAT is why you have someone like Angelina as the referee: she’s not gonna take anyone’s crap. She’s not your opponent, Dani– Look at Rori!!

The blonde ducked her head between Daniela’s legs, scooping her up into an electric chair. It drove her into the mat, and ended the argument as well before she made the cover with the far leg hooked. Angelina slid into position to make the count!

Zack: Well that settled the argument for now, and Rori’s about to slip out the back door and take the tag titles home with her and Maddison!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOO!!

THRE-NOO!!

Garcia kicked out as the three count was about to finish. Angelina popped back up to get Francesca out of the ring, and Rori was back to her feet a moment later. She looked pretty rattled after all she’d absorbed.

Gaby: A moment of distraction for Daniela and it almost went to hell for the Heat! But Rori is dazed after all the crap she ate, and if I were Francesca or Maddison, I’d be thinking about how I could end this once and for all!

She glanced around to see Dani starting to move before she took off for the far side ropes. As the tag champion got to all fours, Rori left her feet to deliver her curb stomp finisher to the back of her head. And she hit it perfectly before rolling her over for the cover. Angelina spun around to make the count as Francesca went to stop her…at least until she caught a spear from Maddison!

Zack: Rori calls that the ROYAL FLUSH, and what a spear!! I think the Heat’s fate may be sealed here!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Fantastica called for the bell as Rori rolled off the cover. She was quickly helped up by Maddi before they both had their hands raised reluctantly by Angelina.

Gaby: HOLY–! The Prophecy has done it! Latina Heat’s undefeated streak is snapped… AND SO IS THEIR RULE AS CHAMPIONS!

Kat: Your winners by pinfall…AND NEEEEEEEWWWW FFW Undisputed Tag Team Champions….Rori Mackenzie and Maddison Knight…..PROPHECY!!

None of the fans were happy regardless, but Angelina awarded the pair the tag titles. They scooped them away from her, raising them over their hands before bumping them together with a devilish grin on both of their faces.

Zack: Prophecy now stands on top of the tag team mountain in both FFW and Future Shock, and I don’t think things look any brighter for the teams all vying to challenge them. If anything, it may have gone from bad to worse! What a way to kick off Sabotage though with the first of a few potential new champions to be crowned!

Gaby: The rumbling you’re feeling right now is the shockwave of the massive upheaval that has just taken place in the ring right now! After two years of a maddening championship reign, spanning the Future Shock Tag Championships and the Undisputed Tag Championships, the Heat meets their first ever defeat, and with that, the first time in all that timespan that they’ll come back home empty handed! Rori and Maddison have been a force of destruction since their arrival this year, and… Well, they have the gold to prove it now! And trust me when I say: NOBODY is safe!

Francesca helped her partner out of the ring, neither of them looking happy as they watched Prophecy celebrate in the ring with their former titles as the show cut elsewhere in the Barclays Center.

Added Jeopardy

Next we find Allison Marx standing the back alongside Josephine Star and her manager, Kyle Kilmeade.

Allison: I’m here with Josephine and Kyle, the latter of whom has a lot riding on tonight, to say the least. Kyle, I’ll start with you. Tonight, you could end up managing the next Phoenix Champion but you could also end up having to fight as well when Stacey and Crystal meet with the stipulation that if Crystal wins, it’s five minutes with you as the reward.

Kyle: You’re right on all accounts. But that last one? It’ll never happen. I assure you there is no way that Crystal is going to get five minutes with me, Allison. I mean, what does it say when the woman COULD have asked for a tag title rematch after what was done to her by several of my clients but she’d rather face me? I’m not saying she and Stephanie had a shot at ever defeating Prophecy if she had been there, because I don’t believe they did. But have you seen her ask Adam for a match against the winners of the tag title match we saw earlier? Nope. She wants to fight a guy who isn’t a wrestler and never trained or had a desire to become one. It’s been like this ALL year.

Jo can only nod her head.

Jo: All 2024 has proven is that Crystal thinks about herself, and herself only. I get the selfishness, it’s part of wrestling. But when you’re doing that to the detriment of those around you, that’s a problem. We’ve already made it abundantly clear that we, meaning those of us who are managed by Kyle, will make sure that this does not happen. And honestly, Crystal can cry about it. I don’t care how she feels about it. It says so, so much about her that she would rather go after someone who’s never had a match before than those who actually do get into the ring and get battered for a living. Mostly that she’s scared of anyone worth a damn.

Allison: I only bring it up because she did face Stacey back at Forsaken in June, and she won that match. So she’s shown she can do it, but this time, she gets you one on one.

Kyle: I remember the match, and you’re not saying anything that’s untrue, Allison. But everyone gets lucky once in a while. It’s like those people who play the lottery. Millions of people waste their money on it every year around the globe, and the ones who win anything worth it are entirely small. Crystal got lucky at Forsaken, and that won’t be the case tonight. I have prepared Stacey for this match since the moment Cody and I made the agreement. Do you think I would put myself in harm’s way if I didn’t think Stacey would win?

Allison: Well no, but why would you agree to Cody’s suggestion?

Kyle: Because I want to be done with her. Forever. I’m tired of her attacking me. Keep in mind I’ve never hit her once. I’ve not personally attacked her, she’s only done it to me. A businessman. A very successful one, I might add. But I don’t fight. I don’t train like that. Never wanted to. Stacey will put an end to this tonight, she and Cassandra get a prize for doing it, and hopefully with any fairness in the world, it’ll be done. I have bigger things on my mind than some has-been and never-will-be like her. I want to manage the Phoenix Champion. Tuesday night, I want to be the manager of the next Pure Champion. And Crystal can go back to being insignificant to this company. Because I promise you if she puts a hand on me, well… what happened in that conference room a few weeks ago at the arena? That’ll be like a spa day compared to what happens next.

Jo: Won’t it just. And I wasn’t involved in it the last time, but even if she does manage to pull out some kind of fluke, which she’ll have “earned”, apparently, she’ll find herself regretting anything that ever happened in the last year. It’s fine to be bitter about someone being mre successful at their chosen path than you are at yours - that’s very much the case here - but it’s not okay to go after someone in your line when it’s more than a little obvious that they don;t take to do with yours.

Allison: I assume you mean your clients coming out? Well I got word from Cody earlier that all your clients are barred from ringside for this match and the post match if Crystal wins. Those who don’t will be suspended for a year without pay.

Kyle takes a deep breath hearing that.

Kyle: So he’s changing the deal we made then. You know what? I still have total faith in Stacey. And I give you my word nowhere in that match will I put one hand on Crystal. At all. Stacey is beyond capable of destroying that woman. That goes double for her useless wife…or spouse #26 if you’re keeping score at home. Boy, you have to really have low self-worth to marry her. If Cody wants to tweak the deal we made? Well he can be just as disappointed as everyone else. If they came to this show or are watching it hoping that Crystal will face me, they are going to be highly disappointed tonight.

Jo: It’s only to Crystal’s benefit that that’s the case, not to ours. None of us have any doubt that Stacey will get the job done, idiots do make good points sometimes and less-than wrestlers do win matches sometimes. It just so happens that in this case, it doesn’t matter. It doesn’t change the result that’s coming. Short of a catastrophe in the next while, nothing ever was.

Allison: I got off on a bit of a tangent there, let me direct this one for Josephine here. Since you returned to FFW this past April, you have been extremely successful. With the new year upon us, I was curious what exactly your goals are for 2025.

Jo: That would be telling.

The redhead grins at Allison.

Jo: I have plans, of course. I just need to get them set in stone and start looking in that direction. There’s always the thought of the FFW Championship. Once you get there the first time, you want to do it again. But there are also other avenues that I want to explore. But I want to see how those play out as they are at the moment before I make any thoughts known.

Allison: How do you feel about the fact that we are starting a brand new show in 2025 to replace Breaking Point, namely Atomic as FFW and Future Shock shows head over to Prime Video?

Jo: I’m not entirely bothered or have an opinion on us moving channels. What it boils down to there is that we’re moving with the times and streaming services are probably the most popular way to watch any kind of television these days. Atomic, meanwhile? I’m sad that Breaking Point has come to an end, of course. When I left Future Shock, that’s where I had my first match. A lot of things have happened on that show that affect me personally. But we are in an entirely new era of this company so it seems fitting that we carry on with that theme.

Allison: I’m personally looking forward to Atomic when it starts on January 11th, which I know Adam has been greatly enjoying the whole 1 1 1 bit. Thank you both for joining me.

Kyle: No problem, I need to catch up with Bianca because her match is next.

Allison nods in agreement with that as Kyle heads off, and the show returns to the ring.

The show returns to the ring, and finds Kat once again front and center as she begins the introductions for the next match.

Kat: The following contest is scheduled for one fall to a finish.

Zack: We’re about to see the in-ring return of Bianca Salvador. She certainly made her presence felt back at Unstoppable by preventing one third of the triple threat, Rose Gardner, from stopping Josephine Star in getting the win over Rebecka Hate. She’ll have to fight her own fight tonight, and I don’t know that I envy her for who her return match is against.

Gaby: Not that Bianca didn’t seem hyped about it. As soon as the match was announced, it looked like the Witch of Winds was pretty satisfied, and she even thanked FFW for “respecting her history” by putting none other than the iconic Emma Mackenzie in her way. This is gonna be one for the history books, darlings.

We have the passion of the unbroken
And our souls we will not sell
You can beat us down but when we come around
We’ll damn you all to hell.

The familiar combination of blue and black lighting heralds the entrance of Emma Mackenzie, which brings about cheers from the crowd. Ryan Mackenzie emerges first, and his wife follows on the song kicking in.

Kat: On her way to the ring from Glasgow, Scotland, please welcome EMMAAAAA MACKENZIEEEEEEEEE!!

Waiting for a sign, I guess I missed it on the way
I tried to walk the line but it's more than I could take
I get so tired of waiting; your signal's fading out
You're on the outside before you even know you're out of place

Emma starts towards the ring, seemingly avoiding any fan contact, with Ryan a step or so behind her. Reaching the bottom of the ramp, she pauses to remove the bobble from her head, then looks at Ryan with a grin on her face.

I've had enough and your time is up
So give me something, that one thing real
And I'll say yeah, 'cause I've been going out of my head again
Just waiting for a lifeline

Emma bounces up onto the apron and crouches to enter the ring between the bottom and middle ropes, where she heads to her corner, looking out at the fans in attendance. After a moment, she hops back down to join Ryan on the canvas, and the pair talk between themselves as the music fades out

Zack: So far, Emma is 1-0 since her return when she defeated Sofia Hilton at Unstoppable 15. The opponents don’t get any more lovable either, because Salvador is far from a fan favorite herself.

Gaby: With the exception that where Sofia is too self-absorbed to be taken seriously, Bianca is a beast of her own. But let’s talk about Emma, who’s still getting used to being the Hitwoman in a way that the Faithful actually loves. The last two years were of returns of iconic women who made a huge name for themselves in the company, and they don’t get any bigger than Emma!

“Something New” starts up over the speakers, and the jeers have almost drowned out the music before the Witch of Winds has even arrived. Blue spotlights dance around the arena, while the tron shows images of the Franchise. Suddenly, the music stops and the tron cuts out...only for the sound of crashing thunder to echo loudly through the arena.

Love to hate
Repeating my mistakes
But there’s no one left to listen
No one left to listen
Take a chance, and fuck the consequence
When there’s no one left to listen
No one left to listen

As a curtain of dry ice smoke fills up the entrance stage, the Brazilian wrestler walks up to the top of the ram, with her manager Kyle Kilmeade right behind her. Once there, she looks over the booing crowd with a smirk on her face before she goes to a knee and opens her arms wide in the Witch of Winds pose. After a couple of seconds in that pose, Bianca lunges forth and punches the air with a loud war cry, then walks down the entrance ramp, with her manager following her with a lonely round of applause.

Right now! We’re taking control!
Tired of waiting
Tired of waiting for something new!
Right now! We’re taking control!
Tired of waiting
Tired of waiting for something new!

Kat: And their opponent, representing the Franchise… Escorted to the ring by Kyle Kilmeade… From Porto Alegre, Brazil… BIANCA SALVADOR!!!

Instead of going straight to the ring though, Bianca walks up to a camera, getting right up to the lens, and flexes her biceps for the gun show, kissing the bulging muscle and giving the TV audience some choice words about her opponents. After that, she rolls into the ring and moves to the turnbuckles, climbing onto the second rope and staring into the booing crowd, only to wave them off and sit on the top turnbuckle, waiting for the match to begin strategizing with Kyle.

Zack: It’s been a few years since the last time we saw Bianca in a FFW ring. I’m positive Kyle has her ready to go, but I wonder about any ring rust she may have. Sparring and training are great, but it’s not a substitute for someone trying to beat the hell out of you, which Emma will most certainly do.

Gaby: We know for a fact Bianca has been getting ready for matches like this with none other than Josephine Star, her Franchise teammate, so it’s not like she’s expecting this to be a picnic at Central Park! While they’re both adversarial and loud mouthed women, where Sofia Rojas is too self-absorbed and dependant on her cronies to do her thing, Bianca is a former No Surrender and Unity Tag Team Champion, and she’s proven time and again that she can be as dangerous on her own as she is when the rest of the cadre is with her.

Referee Kevin Fisk called for the bell to start the match as the two women met in the center of the ring. It was Bianca who offered Emma a handshake, but the shit-eating grin on her face didn’t do her any favors before the blue-haired veteran grabbed her hand and yanked her forward into a pair of forearms to the side of the head. She spun into her with a back elbow to the jaw next, then grabbed her other arm and fell backwards into a monkey flip that sent Salvador to the canvas. The blonde popped up, and Emma offered her a handshake with the same smirk on her face Bianca had.

Zack: I don’t know how much ring rust Bianca has, but Emma is more than happy to help her shake it off. She knew that handshake was nothing but a ruse.

Gaby: Two weeks ago, Bianca offered that same handshake to Emma, claiming that they could “save the nasty shit” for Sabotage. Well, here we are, and Bianca should know that Emma knows mind games like the best of them.

But the blonde wasn’t back to her feet very long before the veteran surprised her with a running shoulder tackle that drove her into the nearest corner. Emma followed up with repeated shoulder thrusts to the body, trying to knock the wind out of her before she scooped her onto her shoulders and fell backwards with a Samoan drop. She was in motion a half second later as she took off for the ropes, catching the “Typhoon” as she was starting to get up with a float over DDT followed by a leg hook for the cover.

Zack: A cover already! Emma must have left the gas on at home!

ONE!!

TW-NO.

But Bianca was far from worn down enough for that, and kicked out as the two was on the way down. Emma yanked her back to her feet by the arm, and whipped her into the far corner. But the Brazilian stopped herself before she collided with it, and caught Emma running towards her from behind with a discus elbow to the jaw that staggered her.

Gaby: And there’s one of the things Bianca is known for, finding unexpected or just plain smart ways to get out of danger.

She followed that with straight right hands to the jaw. A drop toe hold sent the FFW Hall of Famer’s neck across the middle rope before Salvador hopped onto her back with both knees. She choked her against the rope as she bounced on her back until Fisk got to a four count. She only stopped for a half second before climbing back again for another four count. Salvador grabbed the middle rope and snapped it backwards to send Emma to the mat, clutching her throat as she coughed heavily.

Zack: I see that her time away hasn’t made Bianca any more of a stickler for the rules, has it? Just as vicious as she ever was.

Gaby: I mean, with that man over there Kilmeade managing her, and Josephine Star being one of her best friends, I don’t expect her to ever play the rules paladin. Another thing that ties Bianca Salvador to the McFarlane family, remember: the Typhoon was trained by none other than Thomas McFarlane in the FS Development Center. She KNOWS what it means to be vicious while skirting the rules.

When the former FFW Champion was getting to all fours to try to get up, Bianca put a stop to that with a guillotine leg drop to the back of her head. She delivered a barrage of forearms to the back of her head before applying a single leg Boston crab, but only to deliver stomps to the back of her head for further damage. She stepped back with a smile on her face as Kyle watched with approval at ringside.

Zack: I haven’t seen what she calls the FACE FLATTENER in a while, and you can see Bianca’s got her swagger back now. She didn’t exactly draw the shortest straw in terms of opponents to start her FFW return with, did she?

Gaby: It’s hard to tell if this is exactly what she wanted, or if she would like to reach for the low-hanging fruit for a comeback match, but you said it best, Z: she’s got that Latina swagger and that hubris that only someone handpicked to be Samantha Star’s secret weapon could ever have.

She pulled the Hall of Famer back to her feet, and fired her into the far corner. Emma’s back struck against the turnbuckles as Bianca bolted towards her, looking for a running boot to her face. But the veteran sidestepped out of the way, causing the blonde to get her foot caught for a moment. Emma freed her in a very unkind way as she scooped her up for an atomic drop, and then dropped her across the top rope instead. Bianca’s mouth fell open in pain, but it only got worse as Emma began shaking the top rope under her till she bounced down to the mat.

Zack: It’s not exactly like riding the mechanical horse at the supermarket, is it? I thought Emma was gonna start working the leg off that miss, but she decided to aim just above the leg.

Gaby: If you can use the ropes as your partner, especially when someone as crafty as Bianca Salvador is concerned, you do it! Sometimes you may just have to fight fire with a flamethrower!

As the blonde started to get back to her feet, Emma bounced off the near side ropes and put an end to that with a one-handed bulldog. The Brooklyn crowd got behind her as she dragged Bianca to her feet, hooking her head and hoisting her up for a brainbuster. As soon as it landed, she hooked the far leg for the cover as Fisk slid into position.

Zack: Right to the dome for Emma Mack, who’s looking to go 2-0 since her return to FFW at the Fatale Royale!

ONE!!

TWOOO!!

NO.

But two was all she got when Bianca kicked out, prompting the former FFW Champion to hammer her with elbows to the side of her head before she got back to her feet. Bianca rolled away from her after that, and out to the floor where Kyle was quick to meet her.

Gaby: Emma with the right strat here, never take your eyes off the ball, but of course, here’s another staple of the Typhoon’s MO: call a water break for herself.

He started sharing some thoughts in her ear, but Emma wasn’t going to leave her out there for very long. She reached through the ropes to grab her back into the ring, and that’s when Bianca surprised her with a palm thrust to the throat, choking her up for the second time during the mat. With Mackenzie leaned over the middle rope trying to get her breath back, Bianca hopped up onto the apron and charged across with a running kneelift to the face that sent the Hall of Famer staggering backwards.

Zack: Whatever Kyle told her clearly worked out well, and Bianca’s got Emma choking again. This match has gone back and forth like a pendulum, Gaby.

Gaby: Not any different from what we should expect from two seasoned wrestlers trying to not just outpower, but outsmart one another!

The blonde rolled back into the ring with her, quickly getting back to her feet. Bianca circled behind her as she was getting back to her feet, and immediately applied a cobra clutch as soon as she was back to a vertical base. Emma began struggling quickly to try to break her grip, and then started to head towards the ropes. But the Brazilian wasn’t going to allow that as she hopped onto a piggyback ride on Emma’s back, ultimately bringing her down to the mat and then adding a body scissors to the hold as the referee moved into position.

Zack: This is where Bianca excels in the ring, it’s always been her ground game. She’s an outstanding technical wrestler, and she may not be far from putting Emma into unconsciousness here.

Gaby: Again, we’re watching a former No Surrender Champion in action. Bianca is versed in holds from at least three different martial arts if her word is to be believed. Though, honestly, last time someone made a claim that bold, it turned out to be phonier than a household line.

Fisk began checking to see if Emma wanted to stop the match, but he never got any such sign that she did. Bianca, however, added a bit of insult to injury as she began singing a lullaby, trying to put Emma to sleep. It wasn’t clear how well it was working, but Emma’s movements did begin to falter and slow. The Brooklyn crowd began chanting her name, in an attempt to keep her awake as Salvador told them to shut up as she kept the hold applied.

Zack: I’ve never seen someone sing a lullaby to their opponent as they tried to put them to sleep. And from what I can hear, it’s probably for the best that Bianca didn’t pursue a career in music instead of wrestling.

Gaby: Think of the mind games, though! Bianca’s really playing her biggest hits tonight: from the Face Flattener to the anger tactics. This is made to rile her opponents up and make them waste more energy to get out. Emma needs to keep her wits at her and not succumb to the harpy’s melody.

Fisk began to lift Emma’s arm at this point. It dropped twice before Emma’s eyes opened briefly, rolling Bianca onto her back and looking as though she were going to pin her that way. But instead, Bianca rolled her over in the other direction quickly. That’s when Mackenzie stretched her foot and got it under the bottom rope. The referee called for the break, and the blonde shoved her away at the count of four.

Gaby: Like that! Enough energy to flip the move around and get yourself a rope break! And since it’s a Team Kyle girl we’re talking about, OF COURSE she’s gonna milk it as much as she can.

Zack: I’d expect nothing less. And Bianca’s quick to try to get back onto the Hall of Famer, but Emma has excellent positioning at the moment.

When the Brazilian went to grab her, Emma was under the bottom rope and the referee had to stop her. Salvador tried to get around him for a moment, at least until Emma rolled back into the ring and was grabbing the ropes to help her get back to her feet. Salvador went for her at that point, but grabbing her from behind to pull her away from the ropes turned out to be a mistake as Emma caught her with a stunner that brought the Brooklyn crowd to their feet!

Zack: She pulled that out of thin air, and Emma dropped Bianca like a bad habit! Now if she’d just roll over and make the cover!

Gaby: Sadly for her, it may be a little hard to do that after being choked out like that! Just follow your instincts, Emma!

The blue-haired veteran was still groggy after the cobra clutch, but she did manage to see where Bianca was. She rolled back towards her, draping an arm over her chest before Fisk slid into position to make the count.

Zack: Bianca hasn’t even twitched since the stunner that no one saw coming, and Emma may be three seconds from her second win since returning to FFW!

ONE!!

TWOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEE-NO.

But the cocky blonde still got her shoulder off the mat in time, causing Emma to raise her hand to be sure that it wasn't a three count. Mackenzie rolled towards the ropes, using them to help get back to her feet as she was still groggy as she headed towards the corner.

Gaby: The cobra clutch may have taken some gas away from her, but it feels like that stunner flipped the off switch for Bianca as well!

She dragged herself to her feet, and scaled the corner before launching herself into her reverse high angle senton from the top rope!

Zack: There’s the FALL FROM GRACE!!

It landed with precision accuracy on target as Emma scooped both legs for the cover as Fisk slid into position to make the count.

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

The referee called for the bell to a pop from the Brooklyn crowd before she rolled off the cover. She sat up in a slump, slapping herself to get reoriented before rising to her feet and getting her hand raised.

Gaby: Goddamn, Emma really DID flip Bianca’s off switch with the stunner, and she just did not get up – not like anyone can easily get up from THAT!

Kat: Your winner by pinfall…..EMMA MACKENZIE!!!

Emma got her bearings as she leaned against the ropes, hearing her music start to play again. It brought a bit of a smile to her face as she raised her hand once again.

Zack: In a match that went both ways more times than you can count, it was veteran instinct that sealed the deal and has put Emma Mack into an undefeated run since her return to FFW.

Gaby: Don’t count it as a sullied return for Bianca Salvador, but definitely not how she expected her first night back on the job to be!

She rolled out of the ring as Kyle attended to Bianca, and that was when the show went to a commercial for Future Shock’s Throwback Show this coming Tuesday.

A recap of the three qualifying matches showing the path for all three of the women in tonight’s triple threat is shown before we return to the ring. There we find Kat Grayson once again standing in the center ready for the introductions.

Kat: The following contest is a triple threat match scheduled for one fall to crown the next FFW Phoenix Champion!

Zack: It’s time for the Phoenix title to find a new owner. You just saw how the three women we’re about to see earned their spot in this match, now we just wait and find out who ends 2024 with that vacant title in their possession.

Gaby: But we all know that it’s a rogues’ gallery in contention for it, and no matter who leaves Sabotage as the new Phoenix Champion, the crowd will be begging for someone to come and kick their rear as fast as possible.

Then we see the title on a pedestal at ringside shining under the bright lights in the arena before going back to Kat.

The opening of Madonna’s “Material Girl” begins playing as Cait Flanagan steps out onto the ramp. With a wink, she licks her index finger and touches it to the ground and as she passes the spot, flames shoot up behind her. She reaches into her tights and pulls out a wad of cash, fanning it out for the crowd to see. Kyle follows after her with a smile on his face.

She tousles her hair and fans herself with the money, then shrugs and tosses it behind her, letting it get eaten up by the flames. Cait puts her hand up to her mouth as she seems to realize what she’s done, but then she shrugs her shoulders and cackles.

You know that we are living in a material world, and I am a material girl…

Still laughing, Cait skips the rest of the way down to the ring, tossing her hair over her shoulder and blowing mocking kisses to the men in the audience. She ascends the steps and ducks through the ropes as Kyle opens them for her, as she’s winking at the referee.

Kat: From Belfast, Northern Ireland, she is The Million Dollar Baby, Cait! Flanagan!

She seems to thank Lexi for her introduction and goes to her corner, laying across the turnbuckle and giving her opponent a cheeky little wave as she discusses planning with Kyle.

Zack: Cait won her spot in this title match by using the actual title itself to knock Stephanie Sullivan into next week. For those of you who have been following along over the years, it likely comes as no surprise to you that Cait will stoop to any level it takes to get what she wants.

Gaby: Sometimes it may just mean making bank, but the problem is, Cait’s notion of making bank is VERY wide. She’s not above selling out her own partners for her own benefit; but tonight, somehow she’s on her own. Keyword: somehow.

“I Get Off” by Halestorm starts to play through the speakers around the arena and the lights dim to almost full darkness.

You don't know that I know, you watch me every night
And I just can't resist the urge to stand here in the light
You're greedy eyes upon me and then I come undone
And I could close the curtains but this too much fun

As the opening lyrics end Scarlett Silver steps through the curtain and makes her way out onto the stage. As she steps forward a red spotlight lights up the stage where she walks, making the effect almost like a red carpet for her to walk on. When she stops center stage the spotlight rises to shine down on her, as she stands with one hand on her hip and a smirk on her face.

I get off on you
Getting off on me
I give you what you want
But nothing is for free
It's a give and take
Kinda life we make
When your line is crossed
I get off
I get off

Kat: Introducing at this time… Hailing from Los Angeles, California ….”The Star Distraction” Scarlett Silver!

So much left unspoken
Between the two of us
It's so much more exciting
To look when you can touch
You could say I am different
And maybe I'm a freak
But I know how to twist ya
To bring you to your knees

Scarlett struts down the ramp running her hands slowly down her sides to her hips, still with a smirk on her face. Pausing halfway down she sways her hips in rhythm with the music and slowly blows a kiss out to the crowd. She flips her hair back over her shoulder before she continues on her way.

But you don't know
But you can't see
It's what you forgive
Out here for me
I get off on you
Getting off on me
I give you what you want
Yeah

Silver reaches the ring and slides under the bottom rope before taking her time to push up to her knees. After a few seconds she jumps to her feet and then climbs onto the turnbuckle facing the stage. She raises her arms up high then jumps down to stand in her corner, leaning back against the turnbuckle.

Zack: If this were one on one with either of her opponents tonight, I’d have Scarlett down as my odds on favorite to leave with the Phoenix Championship. But it isn’t, she’s got two of Kyle Kilmeade’s own clients to contend with and I’ve seen that movie before in the past.

Gaby: Hence “somehow” as I was talking Cait Flanagan! We have two members of Kyle Kilmeade’s agency, but Scarlett is a rogue agent all of her own! Cait may be ready to throw Valerie under the bus, but if she can work together with her fellow Team Kyle associate, it’s gonna be a long and tough night to be the Star Distraction.

The lights in the arena sharply cut off, leaving everything in complete darkness. The chiming of a clock is heard echoing in the darkness, followed by a chipper, circus like chime tone. As the tone chimes on, a vibrant gold spotlight shines down on the top of the stage. The circus chimes are soon replaced by the opening chorus of “Villain” by Wild Fire.

"Tic tic toc, the time bomb clock
Ticks grinning ear to ear here baby
Tic Tic Toc, the time bomb clock
ticks counting down...
tic, tic stop!"

At the exact moment “stop” is sung, the song kicks into full gear, setting off a series of shimmering gold strobe lights going off on either side of the ramp. A few seconds pass before the controversial redhead, Valerie McKinley makes her way out from behind the curtain and stands in the immediate center of the stage, standing in the gold spotlight. Coming out behind her and standing next to her was her manager, one Kyle Kilmeade.

"You know I speak in riddles,
And I’m plotting to destroy
Villain as I always was
Crazy is as crazy does"

Clad in a mid-thigh length leather jacket worn open over her gear, Valerie looks around at the crowd showering her with a rousing chorus of boos. She looks over at Kyle and the pair simply shake their heads. The strobe lights begin to lessen in intensity as the pair makes their way down the aisle, her arms at her side and a focused look on her face. As she makes her way to the ring, the fans on either side of the aisle make their displeasure at her appearance rather noticeable, which Valerie simply dismisses with an arrogant flip of her hand.

"My sanity's in short supply
Mad as a hatter, hey surprise!
T-T-T-Ticking bomb on the inside
Livin' with the villain pacing in my mind."

Kat: Ladies and gentlemen, making her way down to the ring, being accompanied by Kyle Kilmeade…..from Providence, Rhode Island…….Valerie McKinley!!

The boos grow louder as Kyle hops up onto the apron and climbs into the ring. Valerie hops up onto the apron and spins around so her back is resting on the ropes. With her head bowed, she lifts both arms up towards her head and has her pointer finger and thumb on both hands close to her head. She lifts her head up and extends her arms out, her fingers pointing out at the crowd like pistols. She then makes a motion like she was firing her finger guns at the crowd before turning around to see Kyle already holding the ropes open for her. She steps through the open ropes and into the ring.

"I'm blowing up the mystery
And all the pretty things you see
Light flame to fuse
And Sparks will fly
You said goodnight
Now say goodbye."

Once in the ring, she walks around with her arms extended outward, reveling in the heat from the crowd. She walks over to the corner and peels off her jacket, letting it drop to the apron as the lights return to normal and her music fades out. She rests her back against the turnbuckles and brushes a few stray strands of hair out of her face, awaiting the start of the action.

Zack: Of the three, I’d say Valerie here is the most technically gifted wrestler side by side with her opponents. If she wins tonight, it would be her first singles title as part of the FFW roster, because she’s only been tag champions with Lacey since her arrival from Future Shock some years ago.

Gaby: Don’t let her hear you though, as she’s got enough of an ego to let you know that she could’ve been here for a long time had she not pursued other means of glory. But you’re right, Valerie is known for her tag team chops, with either Lacey or Elizabeth Lannister, but tonight she wrestles on her own. Unless… Unless Cait Flanagan has something in mind for that.

Referee Ashley Pruitt called for the bell to start the match as all three women were looking towards the title until their attention went back to the ring. Valerie and Cait looked across at one another and then their collective attention turned to Scarlett. The brunette rolled her eyes as she saw them both approaching her from opposite corners. She glanced between them like a caged animal, and it was Valerie who got the closest first. And that’s when Silver bolted towards her with a running forearm followed by a flurry of them, rocking the One Percenter backwards until Cait moved in from behind. That’s when Scarlett caught her with a spinning back elbow to the jaw followed by a mule kick.

Zack: It didn’t take long for Scarlett to accept she was the caged animal in this one, and look at her go to work on both Cait and Valerie! She wasn’t gonna stand around and be the victim if she had her way about it!

Gaby: She’s not oblivious to the news, vapid as she may be! She knows she’s fighting an uphill battle; better to get to it sooner rather than later! But the two-on-one effort is already catching up to her!

A headbutt sent Cait backwards into the ropes before Silver spun around, and caught Valerie with a short arm clothesline. Flanagan went towards her before Scarlett caught her with a running knee to the body before she used a snapmare to take her down to the mat too. When McKinley started to get up, the former Evolution Champion dropped her with a running neckbreaker. She followed that with a dropkick to the chest that sent Cait through the ropes to the outside. The Brooklyn crowd was supporting her too, which caused her to glance around at them briefly.

Zack: Scarlett’s fighting a battle on two fronts here, and is doing a fantastic job of it at the moment. And it sounds like to me, Gaby… she’s got Brooklyn behind her! Unexpected out of 10!

Gaby: People love an underdog story, don’t they? Cait and Valerie are turning Scarlett into an unsung hero, not unlike her Chaotic Temptation days!

Scarlett quickly turned her attention back to Valerie, who was starting to get up to her feet again. She landed several forearms to the side of her head before firing the redhead into the corner. Silver was right behind her as she crashed into it, connecting with a running European uppercut. She climbed to the middle rope, firing off ten right hands before hooking her head for a running bulldog out of the corner followed by a cover with a leg hook.

Zack: Scarlett’s trying to get this done as fast as she can, and the clock’s ticking!

ONE!!

TW-NO!

But the One Percenter kicked out as the two was on the way down. Silver quickly got to her feet, spotting Flanagan back up to a vertical base on the outside. She put a stop to that with a baseball slide under the bottom rope that sent her back to the floor.

Gaby: That’s a smart strategy when you’re cornered, keep one opponent out of the way while you work on the other. Brilliant thinking by Scarlett.

Scarlett glanced around again at the crowd that usually booed her except now as she pulled Cait back to her feet on the outside. The momentary glance around the crowd was all Cait needed to drive her backwards into the ring apron with a shoulder thrust. The boos began as Flanagan started throwing hands, showing off her brawling skills with lefts and rights to the body capped off with an uppercut to the chin that snapped the brunette’s head back.

Zack: Cait’s an old school Irish brawler in the ring, and she has no issues throwing hands. The problem for Scarlett here is that there’s no countout in this match, and she’s basically in a handicap match when Valerie gets her marbles together.

Gaby: Funny enough, Cait’s opponents should be more comfortable when she’s throwing hands like a bar room brawler; because we all know where her hands are as she does!

Cait grabbed two handfuls of her hair and smacked her head against the apron. An Irish whip sent Scarlett into the ring steps, causing her to double over them as Flanagan ascended those steps and used a double stomp to her back as she bent over the edge of the steps. She bounced her face off the top of the steps, sending her stumbling backwards. The Irish lass came off the top step with a bulldog that drove the brunette into the floor, as Kyle looked on with a smile from the nearby corner.

Zack: Cait’s happy to make this into as much of a back alley brawl as she likes, but she can’t win the title out there. She’s gotta do that in the ring, and Scarlett’s getting walloped here.

Gaby: Now imagine the amount of shenanigans this will be once Cait realizes she’s basically in a no disqualification environment and she can wreck her opposition as much as she wants.

Flanagan rolled her opponent back into the ring before joining her. She saw Valerie back to her feet, and pulled Scarlett up with her arms behind her. The One Percenter began to unload with knife edge chops to her chest one after another. The final chop was preceded by licking her fingertips to give it extra sting. The pair joined forces, firing Silver across for the ride before they scooped her up for a flapjack to the canvas.

Zack: Now we’ve reached the worst case scenario for Scarlett! Cait and Valerie are working together, and there’s no one I know who’s going to be able to fend them off indefinitely. The only fly in the ointment that I see is one of them can be the new Phoenix Champion…but not both.

Gaby: And look at that Cheshire Cat smile on Kilmeade’s face, this man knows that whoever leaves Sabotage with the title, between Cait and Valerie of course, he’ll claim credit for it.

The devious redheads stomped away at Scarlett’s body for a couple seconds before they dragged her back to her feet. Valerie fired the brunette into the corner before following suit with Cait, sending the smaller redhead into Silver with a corner clothesline. The crowd began chanting for Scarlett at this point as Flanagan rolled her eyes, and whipped her towards valerie. The One Percenter caught her with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker before depositing her to the mat with a smirk.

Zack: As good as Scarlett is, this is certainly not to her advantage. These two are working together like machinery, and dismantling her by the second. But who’s gonna be the one to go for the pin? I’m not sure how much Silver has left.

Gaby: That’s where the fork in the road is, Z. When push comes to shove, they’re still gonna have to fight it out between themselves. And it’s rare that we see “friendly” competition here in FFW, so I expect this to fall apart sooner rather than later, if nothing else, because of their own egos.

They each grabbed one arm and leg of the former Evolution Champion before tossing her into the air, and letting her crash land on the mat. Valerie pulled Silver back to her feet, and shoved her into the corner. She waved for Cait before the Irish lass darted towards her, looking for a high knee to the head. It connected too…except Scarlett moved and pulled Valerie into position. It caught her flush on the jaw, and Cait’s eyes widened.

Zack: A little too much telegraphing there, and Cait blasted Valerie with that knee to the jaw! Scarlett with some quick thinking there!

Gaby: Well that may accelerate the fallout process I was just talking about!

There wasn’t much time for explanation as Cait found herself in a backstabber as Silver dropped her to the mat. She struggled to her feet, darting for the corner for one knee drop off the middle rope followed by a second and quickly hooking the leg for the cover!

Zack: Scarlett gave Cait a little of the BOOM BOOM, and she’s ready to call it a night and leave with the Phoenix Championship!

ONE!!

TWOOO!!!

T-NO.

Cait kicked out in time before the three, and Scarlett muttered to herself with annoyance. She made it back to her feet, pulling Flanagan up by the arm before yanking her forward into a ripcord knee strike that dropped her to her knees.

Gaby: And we’re back to Scarlett fighting a glorified handicap match, and banking on one of her opponents being offline while she works the other. For how much longer can she make this work?

With the Irish lass on her knees, Silver took off for the far side and rebounded…into a lariat from Valerie that put her down on the canvas. The cheers turned back to boos as McKinley held her jaw, and then turned her attention to Cait with a withering stare coming from her eyes. Flanagan got back to her feet, returning the look from Valerie.

Zack: Valerie stopped Scarlett in her tracks, and would you look at this, Gaby?! The One Percenter didn’t care for getting her jaw jacked, and it looks like this handicap match…is about to become a triple threat like it was supposed to be!

Gaby: Like clockwork, isn’t it? All it takes for someone with an ego so full to take a slight with a perceived ally is a forced mistake like Scarlett telegraphing that knee shot from a mile away, and now it’s everyone for herself!

Kyle hopped up onto the apron, talking to both women as he tried to ensure cooler heads prevailed. As he did that though, Scarlett shoved Valerie into Cait, causing them to bump heads. The brunette took advantage of the moment, using the rope for a disaster kick as Valerie turned around. As soon as she hit the mat, Scarlett pulled Cait into a single knee facebreaker before going for the cover! Pruitt was quickly into position.

Zack: Scarlett took advantage of the situation, and she’s got Cait covered! Is she about to become the next Phoenix Champion?!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOO!!!

THRE-NOO!!!

Cait got her shoulder up, and Scarlett scrambled over to where Valerie was still down on the mat. She hooked her leg for the cover as Pruitt crawled over to make that count.

Gaby: If it doesn’t work on one, try the other! Cover on Valerie!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOO!!!

THRE-NOO!

But McKinley got her shoulder up, causing Scarlett to shake her head with irritation before getting back to her feet. The fans were back in her corner all over again at this point.

Zack: Might as well have tried both, right Gaby? Why not!

Gaby: I mean, they were both there, all messed up on the mat, it was worth the try!

As Scarlett got back to her feet though, Cait was doing the same. When the brunette turned around, she caught a roundhouse kick to the jaw that sent her staggering backwards. Flanagan rebounded off the near side ropes, bringing her down with a one-handed bulldog. The Brooklyn crowd was back to booing again as Flanagan pulled her into position for her finisher.

Zack: Look at this! Cait’s looking to end this before Valerie has a chance to get up! It may be time for an IRISH GOODBYE!!

The mouthy redhead landed it perfectly, driving Scarlett face first into the canvas before she quickly rolled her over for the cover. Not to mention shouting at the referee to get into position quicker!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEE-NO!!

Scarlett was pulled out from under the cover by the foot by Valerie, who was now back to her feet. Cait glared at her and got to a vertical base quickly before the two were staring ice daggers at each other for the second time.

Gaby: Fight! Fight! Fight! This is what we want to see from a triple threat match! Shut up, Kilmeade, let them do their thing!

Kyle was back on the apron again, trying to calm them both down. Pruitt went to get him down before Scarlett started to move again. The fans in the arena were buzzing as they watched Cait and Valerie exchanging a few words, while Silver was making it back to her feet. Cait could see Scarlett behind Valerie, and made no effort to warn her when the brunette scooped her onto her shoulders into an electric chair that drove the One Percenter into the canvas.

Zack: Valerie cost Cait the win most likely there, and Cait returned the favor! McKinley was drilled into the mat!

Gaby: But now Cait has a front row seat to whatever Scarlett’s thinking of doing, and she can just reap the winnings!

When Scarlett went to make the cover, Cait went to pull her up before she caught the thumb to the throat. It sent the redhead stumbling to her knees, and that’s when Scarlett followed it up with her inverted overdrive before making the cover!

Zack: SCARLETT SPIKE right into SEEING STARS!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Pruitt called for the bell to a pop from the crowd as Scarlett scampered away from the cover to the ropes to help her get back to her feet. The referee raised her hand in victory as her music began to play.

Gaby: Well I take that back! Scarlett has an iron-clad plan for a golden ending!

Kat: Your winner by pinfall….AND NEEEEEEWWW FFW Phoenix Champion….’THE STAR DISTRACTION’ SCARLETT SILVER!!

The referee retrieved the title from the pedestal, and awarded it to Scarlett. She looked positively spent, but started to grin as she claimed the title and raised it over her head.

Zack: I was sure this was going to be a long night for Scarlett Silver. I was right about that part, but I certainly didn’t anticipate her coming away with the victory! I’ll give her credit, and apparently the fans will too.

Gaby: Though it’s a given that, between two Team Kyle girls, Scarlett would be the fans’ favorite to win the whole thing, but will this and the fact she had to climb the hill despite everything working against her help her turn a new leaf with the fans? We’ll have to wait and see!

She hugged the title to her chest after stepping out of the ring, and hopping down to the floor. Scarlett flashed a grin towards a clearly disappointed Kyle before she began to head towards the back. The show then cut elsewhere inside the Barclays Center.

New York State of Mind

A clip from the last Breaking Point shows the announcement of the Atomic Championship as well as the show itself. Then we see four shadows before two of them come into view showing Mikayla Stone and Clover Thomas. When we return to the live show, we find the latter next to Kayla backstage.

Kayla: Atomic begins January 11th when FFW heads to Prime Video when we’re live at Rogers Center in Toronto. A huge part of that card? The Atomic Tournament to crown the first ever Atomic Champion, which my guest here will be looking to make history as a result. Clover, first of all, welcome to Sabotage. Being a New York girl, I don’t imagine it was all that long a trip for you tonight.

Clover: I actually came on foot.

Clover gives Kayla a million-Watt smile.

Clover: Born and raised in this city, I wouldn’t pass the chance to drop by, not when the girls are in town, and SO close to my apartment. The busiest, shining-est square inch in the world, sure, but the most charming too. And you know what? By the time January 12th rolls in, I plan on having a brand new shiny to adorn my trophy wall with. That, and my waist, of course!

Kayla: How did you feel when you found out you were going to be included in the one night tournament along with Mikayla Stone? I found it almost fitting since you were on the first edition of Future Shock when it became a regular show, and here you are again.

Clover: It’s almost like I’m reliable enough to be the first person you see in a big event. The first face of Future Shock, and the first face of Atomic. Sounds like a fun little coincidence. Back then, I had a great match with Angelina Fantástica. And just like that match, I intend on walking out the winner. Not just of the starting match, but the middle one, and the final one too.

Kayla: We don’t know the brackets yet, mainly because we don’t even know who all will be part of the tournament with you, apart from Mikayla so far. What do you make of the baby of the Stone Sisters? She too has a history with Future Shock just like you.

Clover stops to think for a moment.

Clover: They’re good folks, the three of them. I enjoyed watching them make magic happen in Future Shock. Literally speaking. And now Melody is the Assistant General Manager or some ish, isn’t she? Always fun to see someone keep working on what they love. It would be interesting to meet Mikayla in the ring, just like I’m about ready to face anyone that is put in the way. After all, I guess I have to be ready for three matches back to back to back. But you see this here?

Of course, Clover needs to stop for the gun show. With a proper flex of her biceps, she puts all of her power on display with no reservations.

Clover: This big rig is ready for the long haul, baby. Heavy cargo ready and all that goodness.

Kayla: I think we all look forward to seeing you, Mikayla…and whoever the other two that will join you on January 11th at the debut of Atomic. Thanks for talking with me, Clover.

The reporter looks from her back to the camera before the show returns to the ring.

The show returns to the ring, where Kat Grayson is awaiting once again to begin the next set of introductions.

Kat: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is a #1 contender match for the FFW Championship!

Zack: It’s only been over the last month or so that we’ve seen Raven and Tara start getting in each other’s ways, including Cortez stopping her from setting Savannah Star on fire. We saw in the tag match two weeks ago that Raven has not lost an ounce of the viciousness we have long known her to have.

Gaby: One would be hard pressed to find reasons that would lead Tara Cortez to save Savannah Star other than… Please don’t set other people on fire, folks. Which lead us to the tag team match from two weeks ago in which, although Tara fell to the #1 contender for the FFW Championship who we’ll see later tonight in action, neither the Fiend nor the Immolator were looking like absolute winners, because that was a mess for everyone involved.

The lights go out completely as the opening of ‘Two-Faced by Shannon Taylor’ starts to play. A red spotlight hits highlighting the empty stage.

Just pull the trigger
I swear I'll never tell
I'm too sick for heaven, far too sweet to go to hell
These broken pieces just don't fit together well
I'm twisted, I'm wicked
Cursed by a double-sided spell

Smoke and pyrotechnic flames fill the stage before an unseen trapdoor in the floor opens and Raven Knight starts to rise up with her head kept lowered the entire time. Boos erupt from the crowd which just bring a smirk to the resident firestarter’s face, the expression made eerie by the light from the pyrotechnic flames giving her face a red, almost demonic glow.

But don't you dare say that it's
Too bad you're too two-faced to ever pick a side
And it's too bad you're too two-faced to make up your fucking mind
We'll split you down the middle
This will only hurt a bit
It's too hard being two-faced, isn't it?
(Too hard being two-faced, isn't it?)

Kat: Introducing at this time...from Providence, Rhode Island,--weighing in at one-hundred twenty pounds, she is the “The Dark Raven:” RAVEN KNIIIIGHT!

I'm seeing double, please God, let me go blind
I'm scared of nothing, it's from me my demons hide
Don't question me, my thoughts will leave you terrified
I'm psychotic, neurotic
And if I said I'm not, I lied

Raven suddenly snaps her head up, her smirk becoming a wicked grin as she surveys the booing crowd. She walks through the flames and starts to walk down the ramp towards the ring with her arms raised either side of her and her middle fingers extended towards the crowd. She speeds up as she nears the ring and jumps up onto the apron, sliding under the bottom rope and jumping to her feet in a quick fluid sequence. She raises her middle fingers to the crowd again before going back to her corner and laughing at the animosity she is getting from the crowd.

Zack: This will mark Raven’s first singles match since the ladder match she had with Kelly Kincaid this past April in Sweden. She wants the money that comes with holding that title, it’s what drives her most of all. History? She doesn’t care. It’s all about the Benjamins for Knight.

Gaby: And if she needs to go for the same well again and again for that, then why not? She came back to FFW after her injury hiatus with the absolute SAME mindset of when she left: I’m gonna light some fools up. Little did she expect, there was someone there who wasn’t just gonna watch the fireworks sitting back.

Look out, they're closing in on you now
Wake up, or you’ll wake up six feet down
Nobody's got your back in this town
Knock 'em. In the. Teeth. NOW!

The intro to Set It Off's "Killer in the Mirror" starts on the sound system, and lights start blinking in random colors as Tara Cortez struts onto the entrance ramp, with her manager Christian Kincaid right there with her. She stops right before the descent and pulls off a short dance move, crouching down only and taking a spin, proceeding to get back up, sliding her palms against her midriff before raising her hands up to her head… with a surprised look on her face when the Brooklyn crowd is somewhat torn between cheering and booing for her, which is definitely new. Instead of waving the crowd off, she strikes her pose, and then gives CK a sly smirk before strutting down the entrance ramp.

Kat: And her opponent, escorted to the ring by Christian Kincaid... The Fiend of Fort Worth… TARA! CORTEZ!!!

When Tara climbs into the ring, she makes her way to the ropes facing the hard camera, leaning onto them and posing for the audience, moving her arms much like in the same way she did earlier with her starting dance, raising her hands up high again, only to then wave the crowd off once again before she hops back down to the ring, making her way to her corner and sharing some last minute strategy with Christian.

Zack: It’s still unnerving to me to hear some of the fans supporting Tara Cortez after all this time. In this case, it may be the lesser of two evils for them because Raven is even harder to like than Tara. Turns out trying to immolate people only appeals to a very small population.

Gaby: Tara herself said she cannot be trusted; she’s a snake. Not my words, hers! But we’re kind of in the same situation we literally just had with Scarlett Silver: when you’re faced with an even more hated enemy, you become the good girl in comparison. Whether Tara will use this chance to turn a new leaf or just enjoy being the enemy of their enemy, only time will tell.

Referee Stephen Wilson calls for the bell to start the match as more of the crowd seems to be behind Tara, which causes her to look around at them again. She flashed a grin towards her manager before she meets Raven in the center of the ring. Knight tells her that she should have stayed out of her business and that she wasn’t going to be a twin much longer. Cortez rolled her eyes before they locked up, with Knight immediately breaking that to deliver a knee into her abdomen. It stunned the triplet for a second before two more quick knees to the body doubled her over before Raven swept her legs to take her down to the mat. She quickly rolled Tara over, and began driving knees into her lower back before getting back to her feet for a double knee drop there as well.

Zack: Raven’s strongest asset is her striking game from years of being in brawls both in and out of the ring. Whereas Tara is more classically trained by Christian, and she has a repertoire available to her.

Gaby: Tara is a renaissance woman, stealing a little bit from every style she’s ever studied to add to her lucha libre-like arsenal. But when you have someone like Raven who can just knock you out of the sky with the hardest clubbing shot she can take, being a jack-of-all-trades won’t matter.

When Cortez tried to get to all fours, a pair of clubbing blows to her lower back stopped that before Raven bounced off the near side to deliver a running punt to Tara’s body. The triplet started to sit up on her knees until another kick to her back landed, causing Raven to drag her to her feet from behind and apply an abdominal stretch. Wilson moved around in front of Tara to check for a submission, but didn’t get one. And Knight punished her for it with a pair of sharp elbows to her exposed ribs as she kept the hold applied.

Zack: Raven’s looking to dissect Tara’s core, and is doing an excellent job of it so far. I don’t think I’ve seen her use too many holds all that often, she may have picked up a few things during her recovery time.

Gaby: And it’s the best way to keep Tara deactivated. It’s paramount to everyone wrestling a speedster, especially a technical speedster, like Tara: the longer they’re on the ground and struggling to get on the move again, the easier it is to dismantle their strat. I would know, as a speedster myself!

Wilson checked again, still getting the same answer from Tara. Christian shouted some advice to his client as Tara used her free arm to start driving elbows into the side of the firestarter’s knee. Four shots in a row broke Raven’s grip before a hip toss sent her to the mat. It didn’t keep her down for very long though as she popped back up and went back on the attack. But as she approached, Tara caught her with a kick to the stomach followed by a drop toe hold that sent Knight face first into the bottom turnbuckle.

Zack: Some innovative offense from Tara got her free, and Raven’s head snapped back when it hit that bottom turnbuckle! Ol’ “10 Star” has herself an opening here!

Gaby: As should Raven’s dentist have, because she went pearlies first into the bottom rung! And it’s Tara to make a choice between neutralizing Raven’s brawling with some technical wrestling, or if she wants to establish a distance and start bouncing around.

She favored her ribs with a grimace before dragging Raven out of the corner by her foot. Tara pulled her arms behind her as she was down on the mat, and started stomping the back of her head repeatedly. She finally pulled her to her feet with a rear waistlock before sending her to the mat with a German suplex. Knight rolled over to try to get back to her feet, but the triplet wasn’t having that as a knee drop to the back of her head landed on target. Another rear waistlock saw Tara lift her up into a belly to back suplex next.

Zack: Tara’s doing everything in her power to keep Raven flat on the mat, whether it’s face up or face down. That's a smart strategy. Brawlers like Knight do a lot better on their feet.

Gaby: And I’m sure Tara would love nothing more than to give Raven a masterclass on holds and locks, even if just to show off. Knight may have shown her technical chops just now, but Cortez is literally clapping back with a “hold my beer then”!

A double stomp to her back landed after that before the Texan scooped her feet up for an inverted Boston crab with both of Knight’s feet under her arms. The referee was quickly into position to see about stopping the match, and Raven took a swipe at him just for asking. Tara kept the hold tightly applied as Christian gave her praise from the floor as he watched with approval.

Zack: There’s something new that I don’t remember seeing Tara implement before tonight. Looks like Raven isn’t the only one who’s been adding to her arsenal.

Gaby: That’s a move we don’t see often, because the pressure is safer when you have your back to your opponent. This inverted Boston crab works for Tara in the sense that she can see where Raven is going, and can work on keeping her from finding a break more easily.

Raven started clawing her way towards the ropes. She dug her nails into the mat as much as she could, but Tara only let her get so close before she walked her back to the center of the ring. Cortez released it long enough to stomp away at her lower back three times before applying it again. Wilson checked a second time and was well out of reach of Raven before she made it clear that she wasn’t quitting.

Zack: You tell me, Gaby. What’s the escape from this hold? I’m not seeing one so far. Raven got to the ropes, but Tara just used that to taunt her and pulled her back. Is she just hoping Tara gets bored?

Gaby: It’s definitely one way, but right now, Raven’s best weapon right now would be flexibility. The easiest way out of a Boston crab is if you can tuck your upper body in like you’re somersaulting; that’s gonna throw the assailant’s balance and grip out of whack, and Raven can just roll to safety before Tara even knows what happened.

Knight’s face showed the degree of pain she was feeling as she made another dash towards the ropes. Tara started to pull her back when she wrapped her hand around the rope in time. The triplet shook her head, and released the hold as Knight rolled out of the ring to the floor with one hand pressed against her back as she was having trouble standing up straight. Cortez took off for the far side, and came back with a baseball slide to her back that sent Raven into the barricade. Christian immediately began instructing her to get Raven back into the ring.

Zack: Knight’s back has to feel like it’s been wrecked at this point, and I fully agree with CK’s advice there. On the floor is not where you want to trade with a woman like Raven, hurt back or not.

Gaby: She can turn the entire ringside into a weapon, and many women with less patience have fallen into this trap! If Tara can keep her marbles together and be as cold and calculating as possible, and we KNOW she’s like that, it’ll do her wonders.

Tara listened as she went to toss Knight back inside the ring, but the brawler surprised her with an elbow to the body. It stunned Tara for a split second, allowing Raven to scoop her up into a spinebuster. That put a halt to Cortez’s plans as the pyromaniac rolled away, slowly getting back to her feet with a hand pressed against her lower back.

Zack: That was definitely not part of the strategy for Tara! It’s bad enough to get a spinebuster in the ring, which has a little give. But on this concrete floor… those mats around the ring are purely for aesthetics, fans.

Gaby: It does help, but not nearly enough, because it’s such soft cushioning, it still feels like you’re just being driven into the unprotected solid floor. This is a bad position to be for Tara, and Raven springs the perfect trap.

The referee was up to a six count in the ring before Raven rolled in and back out with a scowl on her face. She pulled Tara back to her feet, scooping her over one shoulder before delivering a running powerslam to the floor. The firestarter admired her handiwork before she dragged the former Future Shock Champion to her feet, and rolled her back inside the ring before sliding in after her.

Zack: Raven hadn’t done enough damage out here ringside to her liking, but it seems like she’s satiated now. Tara’s in trouble here.

Gaby: Like I said, when ringside can be a partner to your enemy, you don’t linger outside the ring for too long! And we can’t even say Tara pushed her luck; Raven was just that fast!

Tara started to crawl away with a pained expression as Raven followed after her. She pulled the Texan back to her feet from behind, measuring a kidney punch into her lower back. A tight grip of her tights kept Cortez from dropping back to the mat before Knight scooped her into an Olympic slam before darting across her for the cover with a leg hook. Wilson was in position quickly to make the count.

Zack: What impact from Knight! Tara’s body has to feel like it’s been in a car crash, and it may be over right here!

ONE!!

TWOOOO!!

T-NO.

But it wasn’t over as Tara got her shoulder off the canvas in time. Knight rolled her onto her stomach, and pummeled her lower back with elbows. She finally got back to her feet, and used an ax kick to her lower back to keep her down.

Gaby: Raven’s caught on to Tara’s gameplan right quick, and now she’s aiming at the core and the lower back. Tara can’t keep up with the techie goodness when her lower spine’s toast.

She dragged the triplet to her feet, pelting her with forearms to the side of her head before she whipped her across for the ride. But Tara grabbed the ropes rather than rebound, and Knight charged towards her. Cortez ducked a clothesline, scooping her up instead and falling backwards with a stun gun across the top rope. That brought the crowd back to life as Knight clutched her throat, only to turn around into a double underhook DDT followed by a cover with a hook of the leg. The referee bolted into position.

Zack: Look at that! Tara turned it around on a dime, and she’s gonna be the #1 contender in about three seconds!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOO!!!

THRE-NO.

Knight got her shoulder up just before the three, and Tara rolled away from her to get back to her feet. Still favoring her back, she pulled Knight with her and whipped her into the far corner. She charged after her with a running boot to the jaw before scooping her to sit on the top turnbuckle with a pained expression on her face.

Gaby: Looks like she doesn’t care about the pain! Whatever the hell is Tara planning on doing, it’s gonna take away from her just as much as it hurts Raven!

Tara climbed up with her slowly, clearly looking for a superplex. But Raven surprised her with a headbutt to the face, stopping that progress before sliding between her legs back to her feet. As Cortez tried to get her bearings on the rope, Knight grabbed her legs and drove her down to mat with a powerbomb before stacking her up for the cover! The referee dropped down to make the count!

Zack: No superplex tonight for Tara, but a ring-shaking powerbomb! Raven’s gonna burn the FFW Championship picture to a cinder in three!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEE-NO!!

Tara’s shoulder came off the mat in time, and Raven stood up slowly and gave the referee a frosty reception at the fact he didn’t make it to a three count. She leaned back against the ropes, trying to pull herself together as she watched Tara begin to stir on the mat.

Gaby: When was the last time we saw Tara Cortez struggle for balance? We’ve seen her take her beatings, sure, but I think this is the first time the Fiend of Fort Worth is letting her battle scars show so unabashedly!

The triplet started to push up to her feet slowly near the ropes before Raven went to get her. She quickly hooked her head, looking for her facebreaker knee smash. But as she executed it, Cortez hooked the top rope with her arm and let Knight crash to the mat all by herself. Christian became more animated at ringside now as he was steadily talking to Tara as he stood on the floor looking up at her.

Zack: Brilliant counter by Tara! Raven was looking for KNIGHT FALL, and Tara had that one well scouted! She’s gotta follow up though quickly!

Gaby: This may be the only chance she gets! She either puts this match to bed now, or Raven’s not gonna waste another chance!

Knight rolled over and began to get up, holding the back of her head before Tara snatched her from behind. She went for her tiger driver, but Raven broke her grip. Knight spun into her and landed her front headlock driver before quickly rolling her over and hooking both legs as Wilson slid into position.

Zack: Tara’s going for the TEN STAR PLU–no, she’s not! Knight had it scouted, there’s KNIGHT TERRORS!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Gaby: And there it is! There are traps you just don’t get up from once they’re sprung on ya!

Wilson called for the bell to boos from the Brooklyn crowd as the firestarter slowly rose back to her feet and got her hand raised. Raven jerked it away as her music began to play again.

Kat: Your winner by pinfall and the new #1 contender to the FFW Championship…RAVEN KNIGHT!!

Zack: Raven has cemented herself as the next mandatory challenger for whoever leaves Brooklyn tonight with the FFW Championship. Whether it’s Vivi or Savannah, I don’t envy that woman in the slightest when they have to meet her!

Gaby: FFW’s arsonist proves again that she’s one of the most dangerous women in FFW, and the FFW Championship dance card stays like it is! No room for more players, Tara, sorry!

She rolled out of the ring, still worn down and beat up from all the offense she had taken. Raven headed towards the back with nothing but boos from the Brooklyn crowd before we go to a video package showing the issues between Crystal and Kyle Kilmeade’s clients throughout 2024.

The history between Crystal and Kyle Kilmeade’s clients are shown, including her attempts to get her hands on him as well. Then we see the deal Kyle and Stacey made with Cody before we return to the ring as Kat is ready to begin.

Kat: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and if Crystal wins, she will get 5 minutes in the ring with Kyle Kilmeade!

Zack: And if Stacey wins, she and Cassandra get a tag title match against…well now we know it’s going to be Prophecy. That should be….quite the showdown when it happens in 2025.

Gaby: Something something giant meteor. I’m running out of analogies to run here, man, the Faithful can only get so spoiled between two unpopular choices.

As the opening of ‘Pour Some Sugar on Me’ by Def Leppard starts to play, Kyle Kilmeade steps through the curtain and holds it open. Stacey Sky steps out onto the stage wearing her ring gear which consists of a black bra-style top, with gold trim. A black and gold cheerleader style skirt, and black boots with a gold trim.

Pour some sugar on me
Ooh, in the name of love
Pour some sugar on me
C'mon, fire me up
Pour your sugar on me
I can't get enough

She stops at the start of the ramp and runs her hands down her sides until she reaches her hips and then stands with her hands on hips for a moment, before she starts moving towards the ring with Kyle walking slightly behind her.

I'm hot, sticky sweet
From my head to my feet, yeah

As the line hot, sticky sweet plays, she raises her finger to her mouth and tilts her head to one side. Then she sways her hips, lowering herself down at the same time, before popping back up and blowing a kiss from one side to the other.

Kat: Making her way to the ring, hailing from Anaheim, California and accompanied by Kyle Kilmeade…………….“Sensational” Stacey Sky

Listen! red light, yellow light, green-a-light go!
Crazy little woman in a one man show
Mirror queen, mannequine, rhythm of love
Sweet dream, saccharine, loosen up
Loosen up

She takes off at a run towards the ring and then jumps up onto the apron, where she immediately drops down into the splits. She leans forwards and grabs hold of her foot, lowering her head so she can roll under the bottom rope, still in the splits. Once in the ring, she moves up to her knees, throwing her head back as she does. She licks her lips and gives a devilish smile out to the crowd.

You gotta squeeze a little, squeeze a little
Tease a little more
Easy operator come a knockin' on my door
Sometime, anytime, sugar me sweet
Little miss innocent sugar me, yeah, yeah
Give a little more.

As her music starts to fade she gets to her feet and goes to her corner, climbing up, she sits on the top turnbuckle with her legs crossed and shares a few last minute words with her manager on the apron as she awaits the start of the match.

Zack: I gotta tell you out of all the women Kyle manages, this is probably the one I’d want to have to face least. We know very well Stacey has a hair trigger, and I think Crystal’s very likely to set her off. Kilmeade’s already said he won’t stop her if she does.

Gaby: He knows where to find them, huh? But yeah, with Crystal going for that well again and again, Kyle’s best bet to make sure the veteran is put down with prejudice is the fire and brimstone that Stacey brings to the game.

The arena fades to black and as it does we are treated to the loud sounds of Let It Go by Demi Lovato blasting all across the speakers. We are treated to fog filling the arena that looks like mist and snow flurries begin to fall from the ceiling. As the music picks up we can see two figures emerging through the curtain. Those figures are the Zdunichs. Seleana claps for her wife as Crystal emerges out in blue top with white ruffles on the front and extended down to her knee on the left side. She wears a short, black lace skirt with a white belt. She wears blue glovelets fastened by black straps. She has black ribbons on her upper arms and knee-high brown UGG Style boots with no heel. Crystal smirks as she has a white rose in her hand and she smells it bringing a smile to her face.

Kat: Making her way to the ring being accompanied by Seleana Zdunich born in Detroit Michigan representing Los Angeles, California she is “The Winter Rose” Crystal Zdunich!!!

Let it go, let it go
Can't hold it back anymore
Let it go, let it go
Turn my back and slam the door
And here I stand
And here I'll stay
Let it go, let it go
The cold never bothered me anyway

Crystal walks down the aisle all smiles. She claps the hands of the outstretched fans as she stops and hands her white rose to a special little girl in the audience. She finally makes it to the ring where she does a split to enter the ring. She rises back up and blows kisses to all of the fans that are cheering her on. She bounces about as Seleana claps her hands for her wife. Crystal waves her hands running her hands through her long blue hair as she waits for the match to start.

Zack: This issue for Crystal has dominated her whole year in FFW for 2024, and it’s precluded almost everything else for her, including trying to become tag champions with Stephanie. She’s met Stacey already this past June back at Forsaken, which she won. We’re about to see if she can do it again.

Gaby: Let’s not forget that, when Crystal had a chance to be in the match against Latina Heat alongside Stephanie, in lieu of The Prophecy, Crystal’s reaction was, and I quote, “but what’s in it for me?” We’re talking about a woman obsessed, and let me tell you: I’ve known Crystal for 15 years, she was already an active wrestler when I made my debut as a wrestler in - ahem - 2008. Never have I seen tunnel vision such as hers.

Referee Kevin Fisk called for the bell to start the match, and Kyle immediately began taunting her from the floor. He held out his chin, offering her to come hit it. And while Crystal was watching him, Stacey went on the offense and took off towards her with a running boot to the chest that sent her back into the corner. The blonde began driving straight right hands into her head and then raked her eyes across the top rope. With the Hall of Famer blinded, Stacey brought her down with a side Russian leg sweep followed by repeated elbows to the side of her head.

Zack: Crystal absolutely has to ignore Kyle completely, at least as much as she can. She needs to have full focus on Stacey…for reasons just like we’re seeing now.

Gaby: And you heard our dear Katherine announce before the girls were out here, Crystal wants to win this match so she can get something many women in FFW have wanted for a long time: get Kyle Kilmeade in a ring and have 5 minutes to administer a proper whoop-ass session. But she keeps prodding the beasts, she may squander this in record time.

The ultra-aggressive Stacey pulled her back to her feet into a front facelock before she began raining forearms across her back. A kneelift sent the veteran backwards a step before Sky grabbed her into an inverted stomp facebreaker to put her on the mat. She quickly went for the cover with the far leg hooked.

Zack: Crystal may not even get a shot off if Stacey has her way here, but I’m not sure she’s done nearly enough!

ONE!

Gaby: Not even a one-count! I mean, the energy is there, but what about the focus?!

Zack turned out to be right as Crystal shoved her off the cover. Stacey stayed on attack though as she dragged her to her feet, and whipped her into the far corner. Caldwell stopped herself before she hit the corner, only to turn around into a handspring back elbow to the jaw that put her in the corner again. Stacey hoisted her up for a suplex, but instead dropped her body across the middle rope, leaving her doubled over before the blonde bounced off the near side. She snapped her back into the ring with a running neckbreaker.

Zack: Stacey is relentless with her attack. She wants that win back from Forsaken, she wants an Undisputed Tag Title shot, and she wants Crystal to leave her manager alone. Talk about all the incentives in the world!

Gaby: And it’s hard to tell which of those incentives is moving Stacey the hardest. But, again: Kyle knows where to find them, the furious and ambitious, and give the devil his due: he knows how to keep them motivated as those incentives compound.

The blonde dragged her away from the ropes towards the center of the ring before she took off for the far side. Stacey picked up speed as she bounded off the middle rope for an Asai moonsault, only for Crystal to roll out of the way before it landed. The Brooklyn crowd began getting behind her as she took a moment to try to pull herself together and get back to her feet.

Zack: Crystal’s found her opening here. Being dragged across the mat like a carcass gave her a little time to get her bearings, now it’s time to follow up.

Gaby: But she needs to keep her focus. If she stays on the offensive against Stacey, that’s her chicken dinner right there. She turns her back on Stacey and goes after Kyle, I can count at least 5 other women who would storm down the entrance ramp and ruin her night before she could say “clench your teeth”.

When she spotted Stacey starting to rise, Crystal hit the far side ropes with a punt to the body that lifted her off the mat for a second. The Hall of Famer used a double knee drop to her back to keep her down before she pulled Sky’s head up with one hand, and hammered her with cross forearm shots across the face with the other. She popped back to her feet, waving the blonde to get back up. When she did, Crystal connected with a double open palm strike to chest that sent Sky to a seat on the mat.

Zack: Crystal must have played a lot of Mortal Kombat games in her time, because she refers to that one as SUB-ZERO. But she’s still got a long way to go to put Stacey on ice, I think. See what I did there?

Gaby: I can hear Rose Gardner saying “dude, please” all the way from here. Either way, The spirit is right there, she needs to establish her own pace and preferably establish a distance from her so those lucha libre chops can shine.

She hit the ropes after that, coming back with a low angle dropkick to the chest to put the former cheerleader down on the canvas. When Sky rolled over and started to get up again, Crystal darted towards her and delivered a spiked hurricanrana that drove the top of Stacey’s head into the mat before she went for the cover with a leg hook.

Zack: There’s the BRAIN FREEZE, and Kyle may be about to see his life flashing before his eyes if she gets a three here.

ONE!!

TWOOOO!!

But the blonde kicked out as the two count was about to land. Crystal’s wife, Seleana, was rallying the crowd behind the brunette as she headed for the corner, using it to land a moonsault off the middle rope onto Sky’s body.

Gaby: I think Crystal is on the right track with this offensive, we may see Kyle in a singlet sooner rather than not!... and would you look at that, wifey is doing more than just existing at ringside. Way to go.

She watched for a second as Stacey started to get up, and immediately went back to the corner to make her way up top. That’s when Kyle moved around in front of her on the floor, looking up at her as she stared at him. He encouraged her to jump off on him as Crystal’s wife was heading around to that side of the ring.

Gaby: Of course he would wanna rile her up and disrupt her focus! Can’t someone just bring a roll of duct tape down here and get this man to shut up for a second?

Zack: Here comes Seleana too, but I'm more focused on the cheerleader who is getting back to her feet in the ring!

Stacey was indeed back to her feet as she ran towards the corner, racing up the turnbuckles like a cat and snatching Crystal off it with a release German suplex that sent her hurtling to the canvas. The blonde got to her feet as Kyle began walking backwards from Seleana as Sky made the cover in the ring!

Gaby: Wow, Seleana is… doing… a thing! I’m into it! But Stacey with the release suplex into a cover!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOO!!!

THRE-NO.

But the Hall of Famer kicked out in time before the three, and Stacey made it back to her feet. She surveyed the situation on the floor and caught Seleana coming around the corner with a baseball slide that sent her into the front of the broadcast booth where Zack and Gaby were sitting.

Zack: Near fall after the suplex from the top, and we almost had Crystal’s wife in our lap here. Nice to meet you, Seleana! Stacey saves her manager’s skin there.

Gaby: But if it works for Stacey, it works for Crystal too! Don’t turn your back on your opponent if they have enough in the tank to get up! Seleana is not your opponent, Stace!

Gaby’s words turned out to be prophetic as Stacey turned back around into a running forearm from Crystal that sent her into the ropes. The Hall of Famer unloaded with furious right hands, bringing the Brooklyn crowd back to life before she whipped the cheerleader across for the ride. As soon as Stacey rebounded, Crystal springboarded off the middle rope into a quebrada that sent the blonde to the mat. She popped back to her feet, looking towards her wife to see she was alright.

Zack: From your lips to God’s ear, Gaby! Seleana is also a wrestler, she’s fine. Crystal has Stacey reeling here, and needs to stay on top of her.

Gaby: That’s why I’m not worried if she catches a little bit of flack; thing is, you don’t turn your back on an opponent before the match is over. I’m gonna have to print that on a tee, along with the “extra pair of eyes” line.

Crystal pulled Stacey back to her feet, hammering her with forearms to the head before she whipped her into the far corner. As soon as the blonde’s back hit the turnbuckles, Caldwell charged towards her with a jumping knee to the jaw, causing Stacey to hang from the top rope on impact. Seleana was back to rallying the crowd as the brunette dropped back to the mat and scooped Stacey into a falcon’s arrow before making the cover.

Zack: Stacey may be out cold after that knee strike from Crystal, and Kyle’s about to spend 5 minutes in hell!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THRE-DING!!

Fisk stopped his count as the bell sounded before he was finished counting. He glanced around behind him to see Kyle had the bell hammer and rang the bell. He immediately waved off the count, and Crystal was pissed now. She rolled out of the ring and headed to get him.

Gaby: … dude.

Gabrielle could be seen at the edge of the camera that focused on Kyle, just staring at the manager with a blank expression, mouth agape.

Gaby: The audacity of this son of a b… I mean, Fisk could take the bell at face value and give Crystal the match on account of the timekeeper’s call, I’m sure everyone would agree with the repercussions.

Kyle dropped the hammer and started walking away from her, but the problem was that Seleana was coming around the other side behind him before they cornered him against the barricade. Meanwhile, the referee was counting Crystal out in the ring.

Zack: They got him cornered now, and we may see a handicap match with him before this one is even over!

Gaby: You know what? Y’all do it. I wanna see it. If it gets to remove the sour taste from my mouth of watching for MONTHS Seleana do absolutely nothing at ringside while Crystal makes a fool of herself day in and day out, just give it to me. We’re fine dining tonight, boys!

Crystal went to swing at him before Stacey used a wrecking ball dropkick between the ropes to send her into the barricade when he dove to the side. She watched Crystal crash against it before throwing her back in the ring, catching Seleana with a spinning backfist before rejoining her opponent before the referee got to his ten count. The look on Stacey’s face showed she was furious!

Zack: Stacey saves him again, and look at that expression! I think she’s been pushed past her tether, Gaby! She looks enraged!

Gaby: I mean, we knew we’d be seeing THAT face as soon as we heard about the match, Stacey can go from 0 to 1 million in no time at all!

Crystal slowly got back to her feet before Stacey shoved her against the ropes, tying her arms up between them before she connected with a superkick. And then another. And then another. Fisk tried to free the Hall of Famer as Stacey delivered a fourth superkick. And a fifth. Each of them caught the restrained Crystal right on the jaw before Stacey snapped off a sixth one. The Hall of Famer hung from the ropes limp before a seventh landed and the referee finally freed her before she collapsed to the mat.

Gaby: And that, darlings, is what we call overkill. Can you tell Stacey Sky is angry? She’s gonna snap Crystal’s head clean off her neck at this rate.

Zack: Seven superkicks in a row, and Crystal wasn’t able to protect herself. She’s gotta be out cold right now.

Sky dragged her from the ropes, and applied her crossface chickenwing submission. The referee wasted no time in checking the arm. Once, twice, three times. Then he called for the bell to boos from the Brooklyn crowd as Stacey kept the hold applied.

Gaby: Yep, you’re not getting up after eating SEVEN SUPERKICKS. I mean, it would be the comeback of the decade if she did but…

Kat: Your winner by submission…..’SENSATIONAL’ STACEY SKY!!!

Kyle headed up the steps into the ring as Stacey was still exerting as much pressure as she could before he knelt down and watched. When it looked like Fisk was about to reverse the decision for her not letting go, Kyle took Stacey’s hand and she let go and seemed to start calming down. He helped her to her feet before he raised one hand and Fisk raised the other.

Zack: She didn’t even need the SCREAM FOR STACEY submission after seven of those superkicks. And Stacey Sky has gotten her win back from Forsaken, gotten herself and Cassandra a tag title match…and if she’s smart..convinced Crystal that she needs to leave Kilmeade alone.

Gaby: You can’t Scream for Stacey if you’ve had your jaw jacked THAT hard! And it all comes down to what I keep saying: don’t turn your back on your opponent! The intentions may be the most righteous possible, but when it’s people like Stacey Sky we’re talking about, you just… don’t. Don’t turn your back on dangerous people, darlings.

Kyle kicked proverbial dust behind him as he opened the ropes for Stacey and followed her out of the ring. The pair headed up the ramp as Seleana entered the ring to attend to her wife.

Zack: We can now confirm that Prophecy’s first confirmed challengers will be Violence Inc. Stacey ensured that. Along with the fact Kyle will not be going 5 minutes with Crystal tonight or ever.

Gaby: And hopefully that’ll be the end of Crystal’s obsession with Kyle, and I say this for her own good. “What’s in it for me?” she once asked; I guess we had a sad and definitive answer to that.

The show then went to a commercial for the debut of Atomic on January 11th on FFW’s new home on Prime Video in 2025.

The show returns to the ring as Kat stands in the center of the ring as the fans see on the video wall that the Evolution Championship match is up next.

Zack: We’ve already had 2 title matches tonight at Sabotage, and two new champions have been crowned, Gaby. Granted in one case, there was no other option but to have a new champion. But do you think this string of changes is having an effect on the champion’s mindset? She’s pretty superstitious, what do you think?

Gaby: I think that if Mara Werth has her way tonight, Sapphire Taylor is in for one hell of a bruiser in two days, what’s what. Superstitious as the champion may be, if Robbyn Helmsley gives in to her own manias before the woman who basically defined the Phoenix Championship, it’s game over.

"I'm only human
I'm only—I'm only—
I'm only human, human

“Human” by Rag’n’Bone Man starts to play over the soundsystem as the video screen shows a jail cell door sliding backwards and a pair of black ring boots with legs going all the way up to a simple blue skirt step out onto the landing only to suddenly stumble as if given a push in the small of the back from the man who appeared behind her in shiny black shoes and black pants.

Maybe I'm foolish,
Maybe I'm blind
Thinking I can see through this
And see what's behind
Got no way to prove it
So maybe I'm lying

As the pair pass by, the camera gets a shot from behind before it cuts to more grainy CCTV footage that shows the guard escorting the raven haired prisoner across a prison yard of patchy grass and into another building. There’s another cut as we see a shot of exposed midriff on the other side of a counter that has a pack of gum, some loose change on it and a hair bobble on it. A hand reaches forward, picking up a pen and signs a name quickly before scooping up the possessions as she stiffly pushed to move onwards.

But I'm only human after all,
I'm only human after all
Don't put your blame on me
Don't put your blame on me

There’s another cut; this time to show the back of the black haired woman as she reaches up to tie her long loose hair back with the bobble while still walking forward, coming to a stop in front of a large closed door. The camera cuts to the opposite side of the door and low down, watching as it swung open and the woman stepped out; only for the blazing sun to obscure her face and body; the video screens becoming a blazing yellow-white sun glare with a spotlight shining bright as the same woman has appeared at the top of the entrance ramp. The spotlight dims to reveal Mara Werth standing there in her black boots, blue skirt and white vest top.

Take a look in the mirror
And what do you see?
Do you see it clearer
Or are you deceived
In what you believe?

Kat: Ladies and gentlemen please welcome from Tuscaloosa, Alabama… MARA WERTH!!!

'Cause I'm only human after all,
You're only human after all
Don't put the blame on me
Don't put your blame on me

With a smile on her face she begins to head down the ramp to the ring, running up the ring steps. She moved down the apron, facing out to the crowd and threw her arms up into the air before she stepped through the ropes. Heading to the corner, the girl carefully stepped up onto the middle ropes, throwing her hands up into the air again before she bounced back onto her feet and stretched as she waited for the match to start."

Zack: Mara vacated the Phoenix title to cash in on this chance to challenge for the Evolution Championship, and we saw Scarlett Silver take over that division earlier. Tonight, Mara is gonna face a woman who is just as strong as she is and try to capture her first Evolution title. Not to mention this is the first title match tonight where there’s at least one woman the fans can get behind, if not both.

Gaby: Not to mention a match the crowd can look forward to a winner that they appreciate, unless you count how Scarlett Silver ended the night being revered by the crowd! Mara vacated the Phoenix Championship following basically having nothing left to prove in that division, and bigger challenges await. The Evolution Championship is the ultimate starmaker, the one belt before the FFW Championship, and most Evo Champions have fought for the bigger one; this is the mindset Mara is bringing to the ring right now. Always aim higher.

A very heavily influenced country/rock guitar riff echoes through the building as the building lights begin to flicker and dance along the stage while larger spotlights flicker on either side of the ramp through the crowd. The entrance screen shows the words “Mami’s Home” before purple fire quickly takes over the screen. The crowd gives a mixed reaction with some cheering loudly and others booing even louder.

“I'm just an underthinkin', overusin', tall drinkin', short fusin'
Gettin' in my own way”

As the first line of the song is sung Robbyn struts out onto the stage, wearing a pair of black leather bootie shorts crested with purple angel wings that wrap from the front of them to just behind her hips, a thick leather belt and fishnets stockings under the shorts. Black leather boots that cut off just under her knees and leather straps around her thighs that connected to the belt. Robbyn’s top is a merch shirt cropped to be more of a halter top, going around her neck and tied at the back, covered by a leather vest with silver spikes. Her lips painted black and purple makeup around her eyes.   She holds her head high looking over the crowd as she makes her way to center stage.

“I'm just a blood-stained, folded hands
Throwin' back the milligrams
I can't find the breaks
I'm hidin' from the sun
Devil ridin' shotgun
God knows I'ma crash and burn”

The smug look on Robbyn’s face indicates that she is above the crowd and as she makes it to center stage she adjusts the collar of her vest. As the word ‘burn’ is sung she crouches down making a wing motion with her arms, a tribute to being the ‘Alaskan Angel’ and as she rises, she stomps down causing a cascade of white fireworks to be sent down from the rafters as purple ones erupt from the front of the stage.

“'Cause that highway to hell is the road I'm on
I need to turn around before I'm too far gone
If I'm ever gonna make it on them streets of gold
I gotta quit livin' on a dead end road”

The camera pulls away the purple flames quickly morphing into  a metallic set of angel wings, centered so perfectly around Robbyn. As the word “road” is sang Robbyn runs her fingers through her hair and begins to make her way down the ramp, getting close to the crowd but far enough away that they cannot touch her. Reaching her arm out slightly but never enough for the crowd to touch her.

“I'm a red-linin', low-lifein', anything but law-abidin'
Feels too good to quit
I'm runnin' off the edge, they say I'm just a wreck
Diggin' me deeper than six”

She makes her way to the end of the ramp and turns away from the stairs, looking into the ring where the referee is and rolls her eyes with both cockiness and composure. She gets next to the ring post where again she adjusts the leather vest, as she looks into the crowd, wiggling her fingers at them in a wave before she flips off one of the fans in the front row. As she hops up onto the ring apron she holds the middle rope before letting go of the ring rope, still crouching she seemingly takes in the crowd with the smallest of smirks before telling the world that “Mami’s Home”.

“'Cause that highway to hell is the road I'm on
I need to turn around before I'm too far gone
If I'm ever gonna make it on them streets of gold
I gotta quit livin' on a dead end road”

As Robbyn stepped through the ropes she pointed over to the Breaking point announcer Kat Grayson to make the announcement as she looked into the crowd with her arms open soaking in the reception she’s receiving.

Kat: Hailing from Deadhorse Alaska. She is the ALASKAN DARKHORSE..... And the reigning and defending FFW Evolution Champion…ROBBBBBBBBYYYYYYNNNNNNNNN HEELLLLLLLLMMSLEYYYYYY!!!!

Robbyn hops up into the corner and blows Kat a kiss, with another finger wiggling wave after. She takes a seat on the top turnbuckle as she checks her wrist tape before waiting for the referee to start the match, resting her left hand against her lips and chin like she was chewing on her thumb nail to compose herself while she waits

Zack: Since becoming the Evolution Champion at Unstoppable in September, the champ’s dance card is a list of killers in a lot of ways. You got Mara tonight, who hasn’t tasted defeat in a very long time. You got Caitlyn Storm, who I know for a fact is planning to cash in her rematch clause for the title. And most recently, we’ve added Sofia Rojas who stole a win against Caitlyn on the last Breaking Point. Because that’s about the only way she can win.

Gaby: I… can’t wrap my head around Sofia Rojas getting an Evolution Championship shot, but fine. Either way, Robbyn has made one hell of a successful return to FFW after over 10 years away, be it abroad or just taking her time. She came back even better than before, and it’s safe to say the Darkhorse is at the prime of her career right now. Someone who can waltz into the Evolution Championship conversation and NOT stand out like a sore thumb as someone who doesn’t deserve to be there needs to be regarded as the major player they are, and Robbyn? She definitely fits that bill.

Robbyn gave her title a long look before she handed it off to referee Stephen Wilson. He showed it to Mara before holding it overhead. Kat took the title with her and the bell sounded from there before the two women met in the center of the ring, shaking hands with one another as it was clear that the fans in Brooklyn were fairly split between them.

Gaby: Finally, some respect between competitors. I was starting to think that was lost after everything we’ve seen tonight, Z.

Zack: I noticed Robbyn giving her title a long look there, makes me wonder if she feels like she can get past Mara with Werth’s recent history of success after success. Almost looked…resigned.

The two women lock up together in the ring, and it’s already a test of strength as both of them try to push the other backwards. But neither woman gives up any ground. With neither woman making any traction, Mara dropped to her back and used it to monkey flip the champion to the canvas. Both women hopped up, but Mara was a hair faster and caught Robbyn with a discus forearm that sent her into the ropes. Werth quickly scooped her up into a fireman’s carry slam back to the center of the ring.

Gaby: Maybe the long look at the belt was because Robbyn knew she was in for a long night! Mara’s already putting those hard hitting catch chops to the test, she wants to paint Robbs black and blue before she can make her own night golden!

Zack: These are two legit powerhouses in there, with Mara only being a bit more flexible. We haven’t seen that come into play yet, and no reason for it as she’s taking all the puff out of the champion that she can at the moment.

The champion got to her feet again, only to catch a kneelift to the body before she could get back to a vertical base. Mara hooked her head, and delivered a corner bulldog to the middle turnbuckle, dropping Helmsley to her knees before Mara hoisted her up into a side slam to the canvas. Helmsley started to get up before the challenger used a rear waistlock to pull her up into a release German suplex into the corner, causing Robbyn to slump against the corner in a seat.

Gaby: The last time we saw Robbyn get manhandled like this, it was when she was still making her case to become Evolution Champion before Caitlyn Storm pitched a shutout to the Darkhorse that, I can only assume, changed something in her mind, because she never allowed anyone to do that again. Do we think Mara’s gonna be the second person to actually pull it off?

Zack: If this were scored on a points system, she’d certainly be the woman in the lead right now. Mara’s imposing her will on the champion, and there hasn’t been a lot of response so far.

Werth took off for the far side, and came back with a running hip attack to Robbyn’s head, crushing it against the middle turnbuckle. She stayed on the offense, scooping her up into a belly to belly overhead suplex to the center of the ring before making the cover. Wilson slid immediately into position to make the count.

Zack: Not many women can throw Robbyn around like that, and Mara could be seconds away from being the queen of the Evolution ranks!

ONE!!

TW-NO.

Helmsley kicked out, prompting Mara to get back to her feet. The challenger pulled her up, and whipped her into the far corner with a hard Irish whip. The challenger pumped her fist and took off towards her, going for what looked like a Superman punch. But the champion sidestepped her, causing Mara’s body to hit the corner instead.

Gaby: Oooooh, that’s… That’s hubris right there. You don’t use Robbyn’s favorite move on her, you’re just gonna get walloped! And I know the DROP DEAD GORGEOUS when I see it, I’m sure Robbyn does too!

The champion ducked her head between Mara’s legs, scooping her up onto her shoulders facing the same direction before Helmsley fell forward. Werth’s head crashed face first into the top turnbuckle as Helmsley dropped to a seat on the mat. With Mara hanging over the corner, Robbyn quickly climbed up to the middle rope beside her and brought her back to the mat with a side Russian leg sweep.

Gaby: And that’s the match turned around, no shutout being pitched tonight! And also, look at the little touches of violence Robbyn adds to her arsenal: it ain’t enough to just flapjack Mara to the mat, it’s the head going straight into the turnbuckle.

Zack: Robbyn did what any champion worth their salt would do. When she found her opening, she was quick to exploit it. I think she’s building her confidence about this match with every second that goes by with her in charge.

As Mara lay on the canvas, Robbyn sat up and was trying to shake off the effects of all she’d absorbed so far. She slowly got back to her feet, watching as Maa was starting to do the same. At least she was till a guillotine leg drop put a stop to it from the Evolution Champion. She muscled the challenger up into a vertical suplex, but showed immense power as she held her up for several seconds before falling backwards to the mat.

Zack: Helmsley let all the blood rush to Mara’s head before the bottom dropped out, and the Evolution Champion is most certainly controlling the action now.

Gaby: And the fact she let Mara hang in there like that messes up with EVERYTHING in the head. Blood flow, air intake, everything is thrown out of whack. That’s why when you have someone as imposing as Robbyn handling business like that– it’s imperative to every powerhouse to know how to use anatomy to your own favor, and Robbyn knows that like the best of them.

She pulled the challenger onto her shoulder, and took off for the corner. Robbyn dropped her face first over the top turnbuckle, causing Werth to stagger backwards before the champion hopped up onto the second turnbuckle from the inside to deliver a blockbuster! She quickly went for the cover as Wilson dropped to make the count.

Zack: We don’t see Robbyn climb the corner all that much, but that’s twice tonight and this one may retain the title!

ONE!!

TW-NO!!

Mara’s shoulder came off the mat in time, and Robbyn rolled away to get back to her feet. She leaned back against the ropes, watching and waiting for Mara to get up before she bolted forward with a running lariat that mowed the challenger back to the mat.

Gaby: No, you stay down! Robbyn knows that she can’t allow Mara to get up and resume her own strat, this is the best bet for her title retention!

Helmsley nodded her head as she heard half of the crowd solidly behind her. She dragged Mara back to her feet by the arm before whipping her across to the far side. She popped Mara up on the rebound, but the former jailbird came down, countering whatever Robbyn had in mind into a tornado DDT that stood the champion on her head for a half second before she collapsed to the canvas!

Gaby: WHOA, looks like Robbyn isn’t the only one with her crosshairs on her opponent’s head! Mara just spiker her into the mat like a freaking nail, any harder and she’d tear a hole in the mat!

Zack: If she could make the cover, she might be the new champion right now!

Both women lay on the canvas at this point before the challenger rolled over, draping an arm across Robbyn’s chest to make the cover before Wilson slid into position to make the count.

Zack: Mara looking to cash in, but I think she took too long to make the cover!

ONE!!

TWOOOOO!!

TH-NO.

But the champion got her shoulder off the canvas after the two count. Both women began to get to their feet, with Mara catching the champion with an European uppercut that wobbled her. But Helmsley fired back with one of her own, causing Mara to stagger. Finally, Werth whipped her across for the ride and scooped her up for a spinebuster ... .except Helmsley turned it into a guillotine choke and dropped back to the mat with Mara caught!

Zack: Another counter, this time from the champion! I’ve never seen a spinebuster countered like that, Helmsley’s gonna choke her out!

Gaby: Both women are out to make the other one pass out or something, that much is clear! From the moment the strategies became clear, both of them started gunning almost exclusively for the head! They’re strong, they’re resistant; the only way they can truly dismantle their rival’s strategy right now is pretty much putting her to sleep!

Wilson dropped down to see if Mara wanted to stop the match, but the challenger gave no such sign as Robbyn kept the hold applied. She added to it by wrapping her legs around her body and locking her ankles to increase the pressure, prompting the referee to check again but still not get the right answer from Werth.

Gaby: Just imagine the torque Robbyn must be putting around Mara’s neck right now to make the former Phoenix Champion, one of the hardest women in the roster, not give a conclusive answer. She must be struggling for the way out harder than we can imagine, and that’s a loaded statement if I’ve ever spoken one!

Zack: These fans are split down the middle. Half of them right behind the champion, the other half…getting a lot louder as they try to keep Mara in this. Wait, is she..  ? She can’t be..

The Brooklyn crowd began chanting for Mara, at least half of them were. Robbyn continued to pour on the pressure as the fans of Mara were getting louder, causing her to press her hands into the mat and start to stand up in the hold. Robbyn’s eyes widened before Mara charged the corner, crashing the champion’s back against the turnbuckles and finally getting free of her grip. Helmsley stumbled forward as Mara instinctively grabbed her into a single knee facebreaker that put them both on the mat.

Gaby: And THAT! Is how you break free from seemingly insurmountable odds! You just… brute force the fuck out of it!!! And now it’s Mara in the driver’s seat again, just like that! Take a deep breath to clear your mind and back to work with ye!

Zack: The fans can be like a tag partner in matches like this, and they brought Mara back to her feet and she took it the rest of the way. But both of them are down, and this has been one of the most back and forth Evolution title matches I’ve called.

Wilson began his ten count at this point, and it was Mara who began to stir when he got to six. She grabbed the rope to help her get back to her feet, as the champion was starting to do the same. As she went to grab Robbyn, the champion used a bell clap to disorient her before she scooped her onto her shoulders into a GTS. Helmsley dropped on top of her for the cover as Wilson fell into position.

Zack: Go to sleep, Mara! Helmsley’s gonna retain the title in three!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEE-NO.

Werth’s shoulder came off the mat as the three count was about to land on the mat, causing the champion to raise her head and make sure the referee only got to two before she struggled back to her feet.

Gaby: Not yet!!! Mara wants 5 more minutes! She may be running on empty, but she’s still going!

Helmsley went to the corner, squatting down and watching as she waited for her opponent to get back to her feet. It was quite the wait though. But when she did, Robbyn bolted out of the corner and caught her with her Superman punch that floored Mara. Her fans came to their feet as Robbyn did the same.

Gaby: AND THAT TURNS THE ENGINE OFF! DROP! DEAD! GORGEOUS!!! She just needs to bring it all home now!

Zack: We’re one pumphandle slam away from Helmsley retaining the Evolution Championship tonight in Brooklyn!

Robbyn pulled herself together and dragged Mara back to her feet. She set her up and hoisted her up…only for Werth to break free and land behind her. When the champion spun around, Mara blasted her with her spinning knee strike to the temple that dropped them both like a rock to the canvas.

Zack: There’s the DEA–NO, WERTHWHILE!! That’s her move!

Gaby: I-I take that back, Mara’s engine is DEFINITELY running!!!

Both women lay on the mat for several seconds before Mara raised her head, and pulled herself to make the cover. The referee slid down to make the count.

Zack: We may have a new champion…but did she take too long?!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NO.

Helmsley’s arm came up off the mat, but that was the only part that moved as she was flat on her back. The referee held up two fingers as the Brooklyn crowd was at a fever pitch now.

Gaby: Apparently she did! Or maybe that wasn’t the perfect grip on the move that has laid out so many victims before! Mara isn’t a stranger to putting opponents even larger than herself with that, but with her head spinning, she may have had some difficulties there!

Mara rolled towards the ropes, using them to help her get back to her feet on very shaky legs at this point. Robbyn started to rise as well, seemingly unaware that her opponent was waiting for her. When the Alaskan turned around, Mara went for the spinning knee strike a second time. Only the champion ducked it, and caught Mara’s wrist as she missed. And with one quick scoop, she hoisted Werth up and delivered her sitout pumphandle slam! She fell on top of her as Wilson dropped to count.

Zack: Mara went for WERTHWHILE once more…and found herself in a DEADHORSE town! Robbyn drilled her!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

Wilson called for the bell to quite the response from the crowd before Helmsley rolled off the cover, taking in deep breaths as she looked up at the rafters and then sat up.

Gaby: And one last final bonk to the head before the relief of having done it again! Not all belts are changing hands tonight, that much is known!

Kat: Your winner by pinfall…AND STIIIIIIIIILL FFW Evolution Champion….’THE ALASKAN DARKHORSE’ ROBBYN HELMSLEY!!

The referee retrieved the title from Kat as Robbyn rose to her feet, and had her hand raised officially. He handed her the Evolution Championship, which she hugged to her body tightly before thrusting it over her head as her music began playing again.

Zack: Robbyn turns back what I feel is the toughest opponent she’s had to face since returning to FFW. And unlike the last two title matches we’ve seen tonight, this one was entirely full of heart, determination, and true grit! A phenomenal effort from both women, I’d say, Gaby.

Gaby: Something one should expect from two elite powerhouses, no less. They both had one another’s head as their target, and everything was about putting the lights out. And sometimes, you just have to strike harder and harder until it just works, and that’s what they did! And Robbyn… Well, her new reign of glory continues! If you ain’t calling that the comeback of the decade, maybe start thinking about it!

Mara made it back to her feet seconds later, and then shook hands with Robbyn just like at the start of the match. She raised the champion’s hand, and rolled out of the ring.

Zack: A lot of class right there! Something we haven’t seen much of tonight. There’ll be another day from Mara, because I’m positive she’ll be looking to get herself a rematch. Congratulations to Robbyn on retaining the Evolution title though!

Gaby: Good to see that Mara has it in her to be graceful in defeat, because we haven’t seen that in forever! The future holds greatness for her, I’m sure, but for tonight… Robbyn Helmsley stands tall and gets to keep carrying the Evolution Championship! We’re gonna give you a minute or two to breathe now, because up next? It’s our main event – Las Vegas’ Siren Savannah Star… The all-Mother Vivi Traeger… FFW Championship. Darlings, it’s ON!

Robbyn raised her title over her head with both hands, listening to the crowd as the show cut away to a commercial for the debut of Atomic on Prime Video January 11th.

The Hall is Calling

Earlier Today...

Next we see Seth Star as he joins Cody somewhere backstage at the show. The two men shake hands as Seth looks more than a little curious.

Seth: You asked to see me?

Cody: Well I asked to see Savannah, but you were invited, yes.

Seth: She’s in preparation for her match tonight, so she’d rather not be disturbed. At least not by anyone who isn’t me. But I’m more than happy to pass along any messages for you.

Cody: Fair enough then. After being part of FFW now since the fall of 2015, I think we can both agree that Savannah has done a great deal since she arrived from being a No Surrender Champion on two separate occasions to winning awards and having main evented Unstoppable as well as other shows, it seems only natural that she join a very exclusive class the likes of which her opponent has been nominated to this year. So I’m just letting her know that she is now going to be part of the 2024 class of the FFW Hall of Fame along with Vivi.

Cody goes to hand Seth a plaque that signifies this. Savannah’s husband looks down at it, and takes a deep breath.

Seth: No.

He hands it back to Cody, who looks more than a little confused.

Cody: What do you mean no?

Seth: As much as this matters, it’s something she has discussed with me more than once. Until the day she becomes FFW Champion, this is not something she feels she deserves. We’ve talked about it time and again, like I’ve said. Thank you but no. If she wins the title tonight, she will accept the award. Until that point though, she won’t accept it. Thank you for the consideration though.

Seth heads off camera with a shake of his head, leaving Cody looking down at the plaque before we go back to the ring.

The long history between Savannah and Vivi is shown in a video package before we return to the arena. Kat stands under a single spotlight in the darkened arena before she starts to speak and the lights come back to full illumination.

Kat: The following contest is your Sabotage main event, and it is for the FFW Championship!!

Zack: Every single time these two women have faced in the last year, it was Savannah coming away with the win..even in the tag match a couple weeks ago with Raven for a partner. I think the champion is the one with something to prove here as opposed to the challenger.

Gaby: We’re in a weird time in which the FFW Champion has her back against the wall, completely surrounded by enemies wherever she looks. But seems to be where Vivi excels, almost like she’s an escape artist. Either she proves herself ready for the big belt… Or Savannah makes a decade-long dream come true.

There was silence; the lights began to fade away slowly. A soft instrumental echoes out across the audience. It starts slowly, a beautiful sound that contrasts the heaviness of the world. Like feathers, it glides among the waiting audience. The lighting fixtures produce a gentle spotlight upon the stage, offset by the occasional flash here and there. As 'Just Close Your Eyes' by Waterproof Blonde continues to play, a woman’s words begin to come through. Her voice is tender, not raising upon a whisper.

"Deceived by my eyes and all I was told I should see
Opinions not mine, the person they taught me to be
One night in the dark, a vision of someone I knew
And in the darkness I saw, a voice say, I'm you."

On the stage, a feminine figure appears. Her head lowered to everything. People cannot make out who it is. As she stands there, the flashes briefly illuminate her figure. It only gives small clues on who stands at the gate. She stands in the spotlight, her shadow cast large and proudly among the stage.

"Inside me a light was turned on…"

The instrumental picks up again. An electric guitar now joins the progressively exciting instrumentals of before. The singer’s voice suddenly intensifies.

"Then I was alive!"

In the light, it is revealed that it was Savannah Taylor. She stands at the gate, a robe of obsidian and ivory hues. The hood of it shadows her eyes, but the intensity of the final EXODUS World Champion remains clear as day. She starts off down the ramp, with a serious aura radiating from her body.

Kat: Ladies and gentlemen, making her way down to the ring....weighing in at one hundred twenty pounds.....from Las Vegas, Nevada.....Savannah Star !!!

"If you close your eyes your life,
A naked truth revealed
Dreams you never lived,
And scars never healed"

Savannah makes her way up the ring steps. She looks out towards the audience for a moment before entering the ring. From there, she heads for a turnbuckle. She stands there, taking in everything. She then lifts her up on top of it. She peers out in nothing, then takes off the hood with a flashy flourish. Her blonde locks fly up in the air. They descend, shaping her face as they famously do.

"In the darkness, light will take you to the other side
You'll find me waiting there you'll see, if you just close your eyes."

While she stands in her corner, she closes her eyes and takes a heavy breath. When her bright eyes open, Taylor is completely composed. There is nothing more than the heat of battle awaiting her. She takes off her robe, giving it to a stagehand. She stretches her wrists before devoting her mind to the war upon the horizon.

Zack: Savannah Star has been chasing the FFW Championship for several years now, no question about it. Given the history like I mentioned, tonight may be the night that her chances of claiming it are the highest. She knows how to beat Vivi, she’s done it more than once. But tonight is when it will count the most.

Gaby: But here’s the thing: whenever Savannah seemed to have someone’s number, it came to either bite her in the behind, or it wasn’t when the prize was to this woman’s liking. And then there’s the ego and the capability of flying off the handle with the blink of an eye – Savannah has become increasingly violent, even unhinged as the years advanced, because of the frustration of coming so close to the FFW Championship and always failing. She has the chance to prove us all SO wrong, or SO right tonight.

I’m not the one who’s so far away when I feel the snakebite enter my veins
Never did I wanna be here again and I don’t remember why I came…

The drumbeat to Godsmack’s “Voodoo” hits and the entrance ramp is bathed in purple light and fog. The top of the ramp fills with smoke, and tall candelabras rise up through the floor, flickering in the light. The lights of thousands of cell phone dot the arena like fireflies, adding to the ambience.

Candles raise my desire, why I’m so far away
No more meaning to my life, no more reason to stay

Vivi Traeger stands perfectly still as she rises up through the floor, a crown of bones and purple roses resting on her head. Around her neck is her black ball python LaCroix, his scales glimmering.

Freezing feeling, breathe in, breathe in…
I’m coming back again…

Reaching the ring, Vivi hands LaCroix off to the ring crew and ascends the stairs, climbing up on one of the turnbuckles. She bends down and then rises up again, throwing her arms out to the sides.

Kat: From New Orleans, Louisiana, she is the Voodoo Queen, the All-Mother and the reigning and defending FFW Champion, Vivi Traeger!

Basking in the adoration of the crowd, Vivi jumps down from the turnbuckle and sets her crown aside, ready to face her opponent.

Zack: I tried to chat with Vivi earlier tonight before the show just to get an idea of where her head was. She wasn’t interested in talking to me or anyone else. Her sole goal tonight is that woman across the ring, and proving that her reign as FFW Champion won’t end in her first time defending it.

Gaby: Laser-focused on the task at hand, because she knows that, like I said, it’s her back against the wall! Look at the retrospect: after tonight, the scenery keeps full with people like Raven Knight and, who knows, Tara Cortez may want another dance. All women that have given Vivi some level of tough love. Our defending champion has a LOT to prove tonight, and–

Referee Jennifer Stringer took the title from Vivi before she showed it to the challenger. Savannah eyed it before it was raised overhead, and handed off to Kat as she left the ring. The referee was about to call for the bell when Raven Knight emerged from the back and headed down the ramp, still in her ring gear.

Zack: Speaking of Raven…

Gaby: Looks like the Immolator isn’t waiting for her shot next year, she wants to disrupt things right now. Because of course she does.

Knight gets to the ring, telling the referee to make it a triple threat. Stringer tells her she can’t do that, and reminds her of the rule Adam set at the beginning of the year that no champion will ever be in a multi-person title defense.

Gaby: I don’t think she’s gonna get too far with this approach to things. Almost like her match just now against Tara Cortez was nothing much at all. When have I last seen this happen before…

Zack: Raven is not a woman who takes no for an answer too well, but the referee is spot on here. She can’t add people to matches even if she wanted to.

Raven ignored her and climbed up onto the apron before Savannah charged her with a running boot to the face that sent her off the apron. Knight’s body hit the barricade on the way down before the referee called for the bell to start the match. And that’s when Savannah and Vivi took off towards one another and began throwing hands in the center of the ring, bringing the fans to their feet in the process.

Zack: I believe Savannah vetoed that request, and we’re off to the races now!

Gaby: Something tells me we’re gonna need some trainers to remove Raven from ringside before some other stuff happens…

It was Vivi who was getting the better of the exchange as arena security came down to the ring to escort Raven to the back. The champion hammered Savannah with right hands, backing her into the corner before delivering a series of elbows to the jaw. A stiff European uppercut snapped Savannah’s head back before Vivi whipped her into the far corner with an Irish whip, while security was forcibly trying to get Raven back up the aisle till she started attacking them.

Gaby: Savannah and Vivi jacking one another’s jaws inside the ring, while right over there atop the ramp, Raven is shanking security just like she did referees second-to-last time she fought for the FFW Championship against Kelly Kincaid! And we need to keep our eyes on both situations!

Zack: As long as they get her out of here, that’s all that matters. This isn’t about her, it’s about the two women fighting for the richest prize in women’s wrestling in the ring.

Traeger took off, delivering an avalanche splash to Savannah in the corner before hoisting her onto her shoulders into a Death Valley driver to the canvas. She shouted to the crowd, which returned the favor. She spotted Savannah starting to get up, and charged towards her with a running neckbreaker to take her down to the mat. Meanwhile as more security arrived, Raven held up her hands and started to back off, telling them she was leaving.

Gaby: Vivi is definitely fired up, she knows this is the night she needs to prove herself worthy more than any other night prior, and New York has her back! And looks like Raven is yielding, so we may have a normal match after all!

Zack: Fingers crossed. She’ll have her shot in the new year, and Raven can work on her impatient nature in the meantime.

When Vivi went to pull Savannah back to her feet, the challenger surprised her with a jawbreaker that sent her stumbling for a moment. Star used a savate kick to the body to double her over before a swinging neckbreaker took her to the canvas. The blonde measured a knee drop to the head before she scooped Vivi up and hung her upside down into a tree of woe in the corner after security and Raven were now gone from the arena.

Zack:  That’s the last place you want to be in the ring, hung upside down by your feet in the corner. Especially against a woman like Savannah.

Gaby: Star would rather take the chance to pull off something criminal in the ring than leave it to chance, so having Vivi in an incapacitating position like that can be her bread and butter. Vivi needs to count on her flexibility to get out of that, stat.

She rolled out to the floor, grabbing Vivi’s head and pulling it back under the bottom turnbuckle and using her body for a bow and arrow style submission as she hung upside down. But Stringer was quickly counting her down before she finally let go, and fired an elbow into Vivi’s ear before the champion collapsed to the canvas inside the ring.

Gaby: I guess Savannah was watching our Evolution Championship match and enjoyed the idea of smacking Vivi up the head hard enough to make her too dizzy to function. I mean, it worked for Robbyn Helmsley!

Zack: I think the logic there is if it worked once, it’ll work again. So far, it’s being proven right and the last thing Savannah wants to do is give the referee a reason to disqualify her.

Star rolled back into the ring as Stringer got to an eight count, and pulled the FFW Champion back to her feet. But Vivi surprised her with a palm thrust to the throat that choked the blonde up, and sent her backwards a couple steps before a leg sweep took Savannah off her feet and Traeger lunged on top of her to unload a volley of vicious right hands to the head. A buzzing began in the crowd at this point.

Zack: It doesn’t take much to raise the ire of the FFW Champion, and look at Vivi go with those unforgiving rights straight to the dome of the challenger!

Gaby: Something to prove, check; back against the wall, check; an opponent that she loathes and will do anything to make her shut up? Double, triple check! And the crowd is alight for the defending champion… Though I don’t think everyone’s looking at the ring– Oh COME ON.

The camera spotted Raven Knight heading down the stairwell through the crowd. Fans got well clear of her as she hot-footed it down the steps, and hopped the barricade at ringside. Vivi got to her feet, spotting her before she charged towards the ropes with a baseball slide into Knight’s body. The fans began getting louder as Vivi whipped Knight into the ring steps, causing her to double over them.

Zack: You know what? Just arrest her and evict her from the building! Knight has no business out here, and so far, she’s managed to get both the champion and challenger to show her the error of her ways.

Gaby: She literally JUST came back to FFW, her first order of business was to try to set someone on fire in the center of the ring, and she just wants FFW bent over her knee! Who the hell does she think she is?

Vivi slid back into the ring, only to find Savannah waiting for her as the challenger caught her with a forearm to the head as she was getting back to her feet. Vivi returned fire with an uppercut to stumble the blonde backwards before a bicycle knee put her on the canvas. Traeger dove on top of her for the cover. When she hooked the leg, the sound of a smack was heard and the fans began booing. When the champion looked up, she saw Raven with a chair in her hand and the referee fallen before her.

Gaby: … oh. We’re doing THIS again now. You know what, Zack, I agree with you, someone should just come out here with a small army and forcibly remove this woman from the premises.

Zack: Stringer got put out with that chair, Vivi’s got battered with it, and now she’s gonna try to break Savannah’s neck! Raven belongs in a padded cell!

Vivi tried to get up quickly, and she caught the chair across her back as she did so. Several more shots landed, battering the champion down to the mat. Then she slid the chair around Savannah’s neck, prompting the arena to fill with even more boos.

The brunette took off for the far side, coming back for a curb stomp on the chair. But Savannah shoved it off in time, causing Knight to miss. Star got back to her feet, and then had her eyes gouged as she turned around by Raven before a spinning backfist sent her through the ropes to the floor. The firestarter locked her focus on the camera, telling it until she had her title shot, no one else was getting one. Then she began to dig into her boot.

Gaby: This main event has been successfully hijacked by Raven Knight and, there’s the promise! She will hold FFW hostage until she gets what she wants! How on Earth is this professional behavior?!

Zack: There’s gonna be some heavy fines coming out of this, and I hope Raven’s saved her money! What is she..?

She produced a small bottle of lighter fluid, which she began to squirt all over the mat and on Vivi and the referee as well. Raven rolled out of the ring, pulling a matchstick from her top and struck it before throwing it into the ring. Tara Cortez arrived next, darting past her and pulling both the referee and Vivi to the floor as an inferno began to take shape in the ring.

Gaby: AND HERE’S THE MASTERMIND!!! I mean, not of this situation, I mean TARA!!! An inferno is building up around our ring, and the Fiend of Fort Worth has seen far more than enough! For a second time, she saves people’s skin from the fire!

Zack: This is over… this is over right now! Our ring is literally burning in front of us. The referee is down, Tara’s pulled Vivi now out of the way, and Knight’s strolling out of the Barclays Center! Can we get some people to put this out?! I MEAN NOW!

Raven headed towards the back as arena security bolted towards the ring with fire extinguishers as the ring burned in front of everyone. Knight kept walking out of the arena as extinguishers were shooting off from all four sides as trainers came to check on the referee. As the fire was doused, the canvas and the wood underneath showed a great deal of damage. Vivi seemed surprised by Tara but looked pretty pissed as she stared at the back of Raven’s head before Knight disappeared, as did Savannah Star on the other side of the ring.

Zack: I have never seen anything like this in my career. Thank God everyone was out of the ring before anything worse happened.

Gaby: Professionally speaking… I mean, as far as the event goes, we cannot have a main event right now. But more importantly, the ring was set on fire and we almost had many casualties. Not that Raven cares, as we’re talking about a woman who once lit a fire inside a LIBRARY. A sour taste in the back of the mouth to be sure, but we should be thankful that nobody is injured.

Zack: If this is how 2024 ends for FFW, I’m not sure what we can expect in 2025! That’s gonna do it for us here in Brooklyn, thank you for joining us for Sabotage and—GOOD! I was just told Knight has been taken into custody by New York’s finest.

Gaby: Our #1 contender for the FFW Championship, everyone. Not the kind of taste we wanted to have to end tonight’s event, the end of an era for FFW! We have one more stop on the road, as Future Shock has its Throwback show in three days, and after that… We’ll meet again in a completely new place! January 11 – Atomic!... With hopefully better stories to tell than tonight’s wreckage.

The burnt out ring is the last thing seen before Sabotage fades to black on FFW All Access.
