Location: Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada
January 11, 2025

Official Theme:

The click-clack of heels is heard as we see two heeled boots walking through a barely lit path until one hand pushes a switch upwards, lighting up the path as “Going to Hell” by the Pretty Reckless starts to play. The heels keep moving until another switch gets turned on and we start to see what looks like an abandoned power station.

Father, did you miss me?
I’ve been locked up a while
I got caught for what I did
But took it all in style

Then we flash to see Caitlyn Storm charging towards the ring in a clip followed by Emma Mackenzie stopping and listening to the crowd as she looks ahead at a battle royal in front of her. Then atop a ladder stands Kelly Kincaid as she looks down over the crowd with a title in her hands before we next see Tara Cortez pulling Vivi Traeger from the ring as the two look at one another warily.

For the lines that I take, I’m going to hell
For the love that I make, I’m going to hell
Getting heavy with the devil, you can hear the wedding bells

We’re back in the abandoned power station next as the woman in heels pulls open a door, slamming her hand against a button inside just as several green isotopes look to be radiating brightly before she joins a band performing and standing in the center of the room. That’s when we see Taylor Momsen and the Pretty Reckless as she begins singing and her band continues playing the theme.

Father, did you miss me?
Don’t ask me where I’ve been
You know I know, yes I’ve been told
I redefine a sin

We go back to the clips and find Josephine Star adjusting the Privilege Crown on her head with a smirk towards Kyle standing over her shoulder. Next is Scarlett Silver hoisting the Phoenix Championship while Valerie McKinley and others watch from different vantage points. Both members of Prophecy share a grin with each other as they head towards the camera, only for the clip to change and show Robbyn Helmsley jerking someone off some scaffolding to the floor.

For the lies that I make, I'm going to hell
For the way I condescend and never lend a hand
My arrogance is making this head buried in the sand
For the souls I forsake, I'm going to hell

We cut back to the band playing in the abandoned power station before one of the green isotopes explodes, and then we go into the arena with a deafening crowd. We see the ring with lime green ropes and flames shooting from it and the stage, which looks like that same power station but with two tunnels on either side. The camera pans the crowd, and then we hear our announce team.

Zack: Happy New Year, and welcome to Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada! Welcome to FFW’s new home on Prime Video, and welcome to the debut episode of ATOMIC! You are looking and hearing the unbridled enthusiasm of 41,392 fans who have all come here as we make history when we crown the first ever FFW Atomic Champion! I’m Zack Hudson, joined as always by Gabrielle Crimson.

The show cuts down to the broadcast team at ringside.

Zack: Welcome to Atomic and a new year in FFW, Gaby!

Gaby: A new year and a new era! FFW’s 15-year program enters a new phase tonight, and you’re about to witness history! FFW is spending the month of January here in the True North, and what a treat do we have for all of you as we kick off the inaugural episode of Atomic, with not only a flash tournament to crown, as you said, the inaugural Atomic Champion, but much, much more.

Zack: We have a huge three hour debut special for you tonight here on Atomic on Prime Video. We will crown the first ever Atomic Champion as I mentioned when four women who have never won a title in FFW compete in a one night tournament. Four women, three matches, two winners, one Champion. It’s going to be Ruby Steele of the Gemstones meeting Elizabeth Lannister, while Clover Thomas faces off with Mikayla Stone in the opening rounds. Pick me the winners that we’ll see come back again.

Gaby: I don’t think it would be fair to either of these four to write one or another of them out, because the premise here is that these four women that have never held hardware will have the chance to correct that tonight, and their mission is to win two matches back to back! And whoever wins between Clover and Mikayla, it’s gonna be a great match against Elizabeth Lannister.

Zack: The eagle has landed. Bobbi Villalobos makes her FFW debut tonight in Toronto when she meets the recently returned “Typhoon” Bianca Salvador. Bianca’s only had one match back since her return, and it didn’t go to plan. Bobbi looks to impress in her first in-ring appearance against her in FFW.

Gaby: Bianca doesn’t seem to be too mad about her defeat to Emma Mackenzie, especially because of how these two seem to respect one another. But now the Typhoon takes on a wholly different kind of challenge, in the form of a woman who made herself seen during Evolution Champion Robbyn Helmsley’s match against, wouldn’t you know it, Bianca’s bestie, Josephine Star. Maybe this goes a little deeper than a straight-forward debut match!

Zack: In what has to be called Unlikely Allies, the reigning Evolution Champion Robbyn Helmsley joins forces with her #1 contender and the winner of Most Popular in 2024 Caitlyn Storm. Their opponents? Sofia Rojas and Brittany Williams of the Dynasty! We can’t forget Sofia has got her way into the Evolution picture with a tainted win over Caitlyn.

Gaby: Something something “enemy of my enemy”, I’m gonna guess! Sofia and the Dynasty make a science out of making enemies, and I’m still amazed at how she keeps getting these high profile opportunities to show off, hence why she has put herself in line for a shot. Our Evo Champion and her rival may not have much in common except for the want to take that belt home, and the fact that the Dynasty has gotten in their way.

Zack: It’ll be the return to the ring for the first time since Unstoppable 15 for Kelly Kincaid when she goes one on one with half of our new Undisputed Tag Champions in Rori Mackenzie. I think that’s a pick’em, Gaby, but I’ve learned not to bet against the acrobat in big match situations.

Gaby: But can we really count Rori off after she and Maddison Knight pulled off what seemed nigh impossible, that’s to knock Latina Heat down a peg and take the Tag Team Championships? Mackenzie is riding one hell of a wave, having put all of her enemies away so far, but the keyword here is “so far”. Because now she has an angry record-shattering former FFW Champion ahead of her and good lord, one does NOT wanna cross the Kincaid Sisters when they’re angry!

Zack: It’s gonna be a loaded debut here on Prime Video, fans. Buckle up, because we’re about to kick off 2025 in FFW! Let’s send it to the statuesque Aussie in the ring to get things rolling! Kat, it’s all yours!

The show changes to show Kat standing in the ring with a bright smile on her face as she looks around at the massive crowd before she begins the introductions.

Kat: The opening contest of Atomic is scheduled for one fall to a finish.

"I wanna fly away on a unicorn
To a land of freedom and light
But I know that my destiny
Is to die in the ultimate fight
I wanna fly away 'cross the galaxy
To discover the force that's inside of me"

As the music builds up, the lights on the rafters over the ring begin to flicker and strobe with the drums.

"I wanna fly away!"

The lights come to life in gold and white as Bobbi bursts through the curtains and from under the archway, all smiles as she comes out, in blacks and golds, the tassels on her Macho Man inspired leather jacket, the tassels a blend of black and gold themselves, wave like feathers on wings. She stands at the top of the ramp, on the stage, T-posing to show off the tassels cut to match wings: the length of each tassel matches the necessary length, from wrist to shoulder, of flight feathers.

Kat: From Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, a graduate from the famous IceDog Training Facility, she stands 5'6" and weighs 162 lbs! She is Bobbi! The Eagle! Villalobos!

Bobbi starts headbanging to the chorus of the song, raising the devil horns as she bounces her way down the ramp excitedly. She hops from the second steel step to the apron, wiping her boots off at the corner before climbing up to the second rope, resting her lead foot on the top turnbuckle, arms again in the T pose as she spreads her wings, giving a hearty battle cry as she hops down into the ring from the top turnbuckle, front flipping and landing on her feet with a bounce.

Unzipping the jacket, she pulls the snaps at the end of her sleeves, freeing her arms from the jacket and hanging it over the turnbuckle. She smiles and bounces to the beat of the music as she waits for the bell.

Zack: This will be our first look at “The Eagle” since she signed her FFW contract, at least in the ring. We already know she’s very tight with the Evolution Champion, Gaby. But she’s hardly getting the welcome wagon treatment with her first match in FFW.

Gaby: Nope. She came to act as Robbyn Helmsley’s cheer squad when the Evolution Champion took on the “Queen of the North” Josephine Star, and it comes as no surprise that the Eagle has immediately found herself in the throes of the Franchise. Weirdly enough, Bianca Salvador has been a patient girl so far, but I don’t see that lasting very long.

“Something New” starts up over the speakers, and the jeers have almost drowned out the music before the Witch of Winds has even arrived. Blue spotlights dance around the arena, while the tron shows images of the Franchise. Suddenly, the music stops and the tron cuts out...only for the sound of crashing thunder to echo loudly through the arena.

Love to hate
Repeating my mistakes
But there’s no one left to listen
No one left to listen
Take a chance, and fuck the consequence
When there’s no one left to listen
No one left to listen

As a curtain of dry ice smoke fills up the entrance stage, the Brazilian wrestler walks up to the top of the ram, with her manager Kyle Kilmeade right behind her. Once there, she looks over the booing crowd with a smirk on her face before she goes to a knee and opens her arms wide in the Witch of Winds pose. After a couple of seconds in that pose, Bianca lunges forth and punches the air with a loud war cry, then walks down the entrance ramp, with her manager following her with a lonely round of applause.

Right now! We’re taking control!
Tired of waiting
Tired of waiting for something new!
Right now! We’re taking control!
Tired of waiting
Tired of waiting for something new!

Kat: And her opponent… Escorted to the ring by Kyle Kilmeade… From Porto Alegre, Brazil… BIANCA SALVADOR!!!

Instead of going straight to the ring though, Bianca walks up to a camera, getting right up to the lens, and flexes her biceps for the gun show, kissing the bulging muscle and giving the TV audience some choice words about her opponents. After that, she rolls into the ring and moves to the turnbuckles, climbing onto the second rope and staring into the booing crowd, only to wave them off and sit on the top turnbuckle, waiting for the match to begin strategizing with Kyle.

Zack: We saw at Sabotage last November that Bianca Salvador has not really lost a step in her time away from the ring. She took time out after discovering she was pregnant and spending time taking care of her daughter. Now she’s back, and gets the honor of being the first match on a brand new show in FFW here on Prime Video.

Gaby: Something we’ll hardly hear the end of, I’m sure! And, like I said, even though she and Josephine are tight, Bianca hasn’t pulled anything fully from her bag of tricks… well, since Unstoppable, when she sent two women home black and blue for the sake of putting a smile on Jo’s face. Bianca has acknowledged the potential in Bobbi, which is… unlike her, but I don’t think the pleasantries are gonna go any further.

Referee Ashley Pruitt called for the bell after Kat was out of the ring, and Bobbi was already trying to rally the crowd and get them going behind her. It didn’t require much, considering who she was facing as the pair met in the center of the ring. Bianca had a smirk on her face, offering the newcomer a handshake. Bobbi glanced down to it and out to the crowd, which were making it clear not to take it. But she did anyway, only to yank the blonde forward into a headbutt to the face. That definitely pleased the crowd as Villalobos kept hold of her hand, and used the other to start catching her with jabs to the jaw.

Zack: Clearly Bobbi was listening to the fans, and did her homework on Bianca. I wouldn’t have shaken her hand either in that situation.

Gaby: Bianca’s a familiar face, and a snake! When you see that smile and that hand out for you, you never take it. It’s, like, a basic safety precaution.

A pair of shoulder blocks landed next before Bobbi whipped her into the corner. The blonde stopped herself before she collided, only to get a running high knee to the back that sent her into the corner anyway. The “Eagle” grabbed her head, and began to strike it against the turnbuckle, dizzying the blonde before she used a side Russian leg sweep to drop her to the mat. The brunette followed up with a springboard leg drop to the chest before quickly making the cover with the far leg hooked.

Zack: Bobbi’s looking to get back to the hotel in record time tonight, but I don’t think she’s done nearly enough yet!

ONE!!

Salvador kicked out as the one landed on the canvas, and pushed her away so she could get back to her feet. But the “Eagle” was up first, and spun her around into a Muay Thai clinch that was followed with repeated knee lifts to the face and body that put the Brazilian on her knees.

Gaby: And here’s what Robbyn Helmsley has been hyping since the Eagle put pen to paper! Look at the martial arts switch up!

She took off for the far side, and came back with a running boot to the side of the head that sent Bianca over the middle rope. Villalobos scooped her around the waist from behind to pull her back to her feet, but that was where the offense ended for her for the moment. Salvador began throwing back elbows to the side of her head, shaking the newcomer loose and stumbling her backwards until a discus punch from Bianca finally put her on the canvas.

Zack: Bianca wasn’t interested in going for the ride that Bobbi had in mind, and nothing like a haymaker shot to help your opponent forget what her name is.

Gaby: I think Bianca’s MMA chops came calling when Bobbi brought the match down to basics, and now it’s time for the Typhoon to seize control and show us all the dirty BS she’s wont to do.

Kyle shouted some advice as the blonde turned around, and started teeing off with straight right hands to her jaw as Bobbi tried to get back to her feet. She pulled the “Eagle” up enough to scoop her and fall backwards into a stun gun across the top rope. It sent the newcomer into a coughing fit before the “Typhoon” draped her neck across the middle rope and began choking her against it. Pruitt got to a four count before she let go, and stepped back with her hands up like she was totally innocent.

Gaby: See? Straight for the neck! Bianca is wasting no time showing Bobbi the ropes in quite the literal sense. Wrestling in Japan may have taught Bobbi discipline and patience, but now she gets to face someone who cares nothing about that.

Zack: A little fun fact here, Gaby. That’s a brand new ring they are in, after our last one went up in flames back at Sabotage.

When Bianca spotted her starting to get up, she charged across with a knee trembler to the side of her head. It sent the newcomer into the ropes before Salvador pulled her back to her feet. She whipped her across for the ride, and caught her on the rebound with a running knee to the body. It doubled Villalobos over for a moment, allowing Bianca to bounce off the near side with a running neckbreaker before she got back to her feet with a confident smirk on her face. Then she started showing off her biceps, welcoming the Toronto crowd to the gun show.

Gaby: Did anyone miss Bianca Salvador and her endless vanity? Well, I hope y’all are getting your fix, because that’s classic Typhoon right there.

Zack: If they did, I don’t think any of them are in the Toronto area tonight judging by this response.

This only served to give Bobbi time to get herself together as Kyle tried to warn his client about what was happening. Bianca snapped back to attention and went to get her, only to catch a rising uppercut to the jaw that wobbled her backwards. Villalobos got back to her feet, and started unloading with one haymaker shot after another before she whipped Salvador into the far corner. As soon as she crashed into it, Bobbi charged towards her with a running European uppercut that snapped her head back.

Zack: This is what happens when you waste time with bicep curls in the middle of a match, Gaby. Am I right?

Gaby: Well, that’s the good part about vanity in wrestling, right? You stop for the show, you get shown off. The one thing that makes me curious about this match-up is that, interestingly so, Bianca and Bobbi seem to have similar styles. Bianca is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and vale-tudo specialist, and Bobbi is bringing those technical strikes and hard hitting fists; it’s almost like this match could’ve taken place in an octagon!

She whipped her across to the far corner, causing Bianca to crash and sink to a seat against it. The “Eagle” took off for a cross body block against her in that corner. Bobbi hopped back to her feet, pumping her arm for the crowd as she tried to get them loud again. As soon as she spotted Bianca getting up again, she “cocked” her arm and took off towards her with a Superman punch that floored the blonde to the canvas before she went for the cover. Pruitt dropped into position immediately!

Zack: Locked and loaded with one hell of a Supergirl punch, and the “Eagle” may be three seconds from a very successful debut!

ONE!!

TWO-NO!!

But the wily veteran still kicked out in time, causing Bobbi to get back to her feet. She was firing up the crowd yet again as she headed for the nearest corner to make her way up to the top rope.

Gaby: And you can TASTE the influence of our Evolution Champion in Bobbi Villalobos’ style, because that Supergirl punch is just too recognizable! And if Bianca doesn’t get her stuff together, she’s about to Drop Dead and it won’t be at all Gorgeous!

Kyle was pounding the mat at this point as he tried to warn Bianca, who made it back to her feet and charged the corner as Bobbi was turning around. She knocked her feet out from under her, causing her to straddle the top turnbuckle the hard way. Salvador climbed up with her, hammering her with forearms to the head before hooking her head and executing a superplex that drove her to the mat. The Toronto fans were back to booing the Brazilian as she struggled to get to her feet, now with a scowl on her face.

Gaby: OH MY GOD!!! Bianca just deadlift Bobbi onto the top rope and we’re already testing the new ring’s resistance with a Superplex that came with so much venom, it’s oozing from her eyes!

Zack: Bianca doesn’t look like it, but she’s a powerful woman. She may not be jacked up like some, but she certainly can throw her opponents around when she wants.

She grabbed her foot into a single leg Boston crab, but only held it long enough to turn it into a curb stomp. Bianca shouted this one was for Jo as she scooped the brunette up, and delivered a wheelbarrow facebuster before rolling her over for the cover with a leg hook. The referee dropped down to make the count.

Zack: Josephine calls it the BANG, and I’m sure she’s touched by the shoutout!

ONE!!

TWOOOOOO!!!

TH-NOO.

But Villalobos got her shoulder off the mat in time. She dragged the brunette to her feet, scooping her up into a vertical suplex. But she dropped her abdomen across the top rope instead, leaving the “Eagle” suspended as a result.

Gaby: Looks like both women can shout their besties out in the match, but now Bianca has Bobbi draped over the rope like she’s yesterday’s clothes and whatever she’s cooking, it won’t be pretty.

Bianca headed to the nearest corner, hopping up onto the middle rope before launching off with a guillotine leg drop that snapped Bobbi back into the ring. She quickly made the cover with the outside leg hooked as Pruitt slid into position.

Zack: An elevated guillotine leg drop may have nearly beheaded the “Eagle”, and Bianca’s ready to hear the bell!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOO!!!

THREE-NO.

Bobbi got her shoulder off the mat though, and Bianca muttered something to herself and rose back to her feet. She let the crowd know it was over with a thumb across her neck before she pulled the debutant to her feet and set her into position for her finisher by pulling her hands between her legs.

Zack: You know this setup, Gaby!

Gaby: We haven’t seen this one in a while! Feel the winds kicking up already?!

With one fluid motion, Bianca scooped her into her double pumphandle wheelbarrow driver! She quickly went for the cover with both legs hooked this time!

Zack: There’s the TYPHOON DRIVER!! I haven’t seen it in ages!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Pruitt called for the bell to a plethora of boos from the Toronto crowd as Bianca got to her feet. She got her hand raised as Kyle stepped through the ropes to join her.

Gaby: The Witch of Winds is BACK! And the Eagle’s landing has been ruined!

Kat: Your winner by pinfall….’THE TYPHOON’ BIANCA SALVADOR!!

Bianca smirked as she heard the music start playing again, and Kyle congratulated her with a very pleased look on his face.

Zack: Bianca’s back to her winning ways with her first victory in 2025 as well as since she returned to FFW. I might be wrong, but I think Villalobos gave her more than she was expecting.

Gaby: Bobbi made her name overseas and I knew to expect greatness when I heard the tale of her tape. Problem is, she was thrown straight into the fire, as they don’t get more adversarial or crafty than “the Typhoon” Bianca Salvador.

As Kyle followed his client out of the ring to the floor, the show cuts to the back to see FFW CEO Adam Grant walking through the halls with the new Atomic Championship in the crook of his arm.

Zack: Looks like the boss is on his way to the ring. When we come back, fans, we’ll hear from Adam himself and he’s got the title that will be christened tonight with its first champion.

Gaby: Four women, three matches, two chances, one new champ! Atomic will come back right quick, with a word from our CEO and the kickoff to the flash tournament to crown the first Atomic Champ!

Then the show went to a commercial for Future Shock’s debut on Prime Video this coming Tuesday.

A New Champion

The show returns from the commercial break with Adam already in the ring, and getting a very positive reception from the fans in Toronto. It brings a smile to his face as he looks down to the Atomic Championship in his hand.

Adam: Hello, Toronto!

Cheap pop. But it makes him grin anyway.

Adam: Welcome to a historic night in FFW history here on the debut of Atomic on our first night on Prime Video. This is a whole new era for FFW, and I haven’t been this excited as a result for some time. One year ago when I took this job, I wasn’t excited. The fact is I was terrified. I was terrified because running a show under someone else is actually much easier. Because you have someone to help you course correct when it’s needed. Doing it yourself as I have for the last year? I had to fully rely on my own instincts, and I was able to prove to myself that I could do this. That’s due in part to some tremendously talented staff both in the locker room and elsewhere, and a whole lot of support from people like all of you. And for that, I say thank you.

Adam’s expression gets a bit somber as he continues.

Adam: Before I continue, I want to take a moment and mention the devastation ongoing right now in Los Angeles with the wildfires. I spent a good chunk of my life there before I moved, and my heart goes out to everyone who lost anything in those fires as well as my support for all those first responders there battling the fires now. Those blazes claimed FFW’s headquarters in Los Angeles among the thousands of other buildings, and I’m at least happy to report no one was hurt there when it happened. And I promise you FFW will be assisting in relief efforts in the City of Angels, if I have anything to say about it. And it turns out I do. Now, back to business. I have a very few things I want to cover. First and foremost tonight, we are going to crown the first ever FFW Atomic Champion.

He hoists the title over his head with a smile to show them before he continues.

Adam: The four women I chose for this one night tournament all have one thing in common. None of them have held a title on the FFW roster. We’ll change that for one of them tonight though, and whoever it is will have a very prominent position here on Atomic. Because I fully plan to make this title defended at least every 30 days, and it will only be defended here on Prime and only on this show.

Zack: Sounds like all future Atomic Champions can expect plenty of defenses here on the show, Gaby. Do you think that will attract more women wanting it? I ask because I think we have some women who like being a champion…but not having to defend them all that much.

Gaby: But defending the championship is what makes a champion! Sitting on one’s laurels has never made for good television. So, yeah, this division should be pouring with competitors.

Adam: Whether it’s Mikayla Stone, Elizabeth Lannister, Clover Thomas or Ruby Steele, the woman who leaves Toronto with this title will embark on quite the arduous schedule. I’m positive they can handle it. In two weeks on our next episode, we’ll have a match to determine the first woman to challenge the new champion. That’s kinda the rule of thumb I have for this title. One show, it’s defended. The next, we’re determining the #1 contender.

Zack: Guaranteed to either have a title defense or someone earning the next shot every week here on Atomic.

Gaby: An even more grueling schedule than the old Television Championship, and it could be a star-making opportunity!

Adam: Also on that next Atomic, we are going to have the first defense of the FFW Undisputed Tag Titles. Cody Kincaid made Kyle Kilmeade a deal that if Stacey won her match at Sabotage, he’d give her and Cassandra a title shot. Well Stacey won, and I’ll uphold Cody’s word. Speaking of Sabotage, I do have one last announcement from that show.

Zack: Violence Inc. will have the chance to end Prophecy’s reign practically right out of the gate in a couple weeks, Gaby. Who do you predict wins that?

Gaby: Hard to tell. Prophecy did the unthinkable when they defeated Dani Ruiz and Francesca Garcia; I’m willing to bet they’re gonna break FFW in order to keep those belts if need be, while the Faithful will pretty much be cheering for the giant meteor.

Adam: In the main event of Sabotage, the match was never finished because the #1 contender took it upon herself to set the ring on fire. That was an event that is unacceptable under any circumstances. Not only does it pose a severe risk to the women in the ring, but it also did so for everyone in the arena that night. That is going to be a very costly expense for Raven Knight. Effective immediately, Raven is suspended until further notice and will be fined $150,000.

Zack: Wow! That’s one steep fine. But I can’t say I blame him for doing it. It was extremely dangerous what she pulled just because she didn’t want Savannah to have her shot she deserved.

Gaby: It’s Raven Knight we’re talking about. I don’t think she cares about this kind of thing. I say we should keep our eyes open for more bullcrap from her, because she’s adversarial enough to pull off more crimes just to spite the company and our CEO.

Adam: Until that fine is paid in full, I won’t even consider lifting the suspension. There is nothing more important than the safety of the fans who come to our shows. In the meantime, Savannah Star is still the #1 contender for the FFW Championship. That has not changed and will not until she has her title shot and a winner by pinfall or submission only is determined.

Zack: Only fair, not like Savannah wanted anything to do with how that match ended. And congratulations to her on becoming the 2024 Femme Fatale of the Year too.

Gaby: May be the fuel she needed to finally get over the hurdle of becoming FFW Champion. She and Vivi Traeger will have another chance to fight for the belt, hopefully with no arson included.

Adam: With that said, I think it’s time to kick off the Atomic Tournament, don’t you?

That gets a pop as he steps through the ropes and hops down to ringside, placing the title on the front of the broadcast booth with Zack and Gaby.

Adam: You two keep an eye on that for me, alright?

Zack: I think we can handle that. How about you, Gaby? Feel like being title security for a little while?

Gaby: Closest I’ve been to a belt since my days as Trios Champ! And it’s a beautiful one, too. Whoever takes this home, you better take good care of this here baby.

He asks before he starts to head towards the back, while Kat heads up to the ring to handle the introductions.

Kat: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is part of the Atomic Tournament to crown the first ever FFW Atomic Champion!

"I Wanna Dance With Somebody" by Whitney Houston begins to blast all across the speakers and as it does, we are able to see Ruby Steele emerging from the curtain. She is clad in a sparkling ruby glow in the dark jacket. The jacket shines brightly and she excitedly sprints to the ring. Diamond emerges from behind the curtain to support her cousin although her eyes are too focused on her pocket mirror where she just admires her hair.

Kat: Making her way to the ring being accompanied by Diamond Steele, she weighs in at 112 pounds Ruby Steele!

Ruby however is over the top excited as she does some cartwheels before finishing up with one massive backflip. She giggles before she slowly slides into the ring. She nips up to her feet and blows kisses to the crowd before she bounces about waiting for the match to begin.

Zack: Before tonight is through the Gemstones could have their first piece of gold in FFW if Ruby has her way about it. She’s even brought Diamond out here for support, which is probably wise considering we know who Elizabeth will have with her.

Gaby: No– No megaphone though? Goodness me, this match has just become 100% more enjoyable! But, indeed, Elizabeth never walks alone, so bringing out the former Evolution Champion in Diamond is one hell of an insurance.

As the fans sit in their seats in anticipation of what is to come, they are greeted by the lights dimming. A brilliant golden spotlight focuses on the stage as the opening strains of “Massive Addictive” by Amaranthe begin to play.

“Give me purity, strength and affection
Give me lust to ignite my devotion for life
It's where beauty comes alive
Can't you see I'm a slave to the darkness
Cutting down
And I know I have done this before
As I stare into the wall
And now it's time to let it shine
Cause don't you know I'm addicted”

The curtains to rustle a bit before the dapper figure of one Kyle Kilmeade emerges from the back, his ever present smirk etched on his face. He steps out onto the stage and glances at either side of the stage at the crowd before stepping to the side, holding out his hand to the curtain. Out from the back emerges the beautiful Elizabeth Lannister. Stepping out onto the stage, she takes Kyle’s outstretched hand and promptly twirls around slowly, showing off the intricate work on her robe. Dropping his hand, Elizabeth nods and starts to walk down the aisle, Kyle walking in stride next to her.

“Massive addictive
And suddenly I'm greatly affected
Like burning fire inside
My cyanide
Scared of losing my mind
Massive addictive
I'm totally completely afflicted
As I inspire the lie like a lullaby
Crawling around in my mind
My mind”

The pair slowly make their way down the aisle, Elizabeth’s gold and red robe flowing with each step she took, completely ignoring the fans on either side of her. As the pair walk, the spotlight changes so that the entire arena is soon engulfed in gold light.

Kat: Ladies and gentlemen, making her way to the ring, being accompanied by her manager Kyle Kilmeade…..from Scottsdale, Arizona…’THE LIONESS’ ELIZABETH LANNISTER!!

Once she reaches the ring she begins to climb the steel steps, with Kyle hopping up onto the apron and holding the ropes open for her. She carefully climbs through the opened ropes and steps into the middle of the ring, flipping her hair over her shoulders and sticking her arms out to the sides, her head tilted back, a confident smirk etched on her angelic features. She then returns her head to its normal position and unclasps her robe, shrugging it off as Kyle reaches forward to carefully hand it to a nearby stagehand. She then moves her arms back and forth to loosen up as the lights return to normal and the music begins to fade out.

Zack: If Ruby’s done her homework, she knows what this woman is going to attack. Lannister loves her cross armbreaker submission, and there’s a relatively high likelihood she’s going to go after Ruby’s arm as a result. But Ruby likes to fly, which makes me think taking out a leg might be the wiser option. What do you think, Gaby?

Gaby: Elizabeth will have to take a bet, and if I were in her place, I’d focus on the legs. She has weapons to put Ruby and any other highflyer down without having to rely on a single move. If she focuses on softening her arm up while she bounces and kicks around, it’s gonna be her worst hand ever.

Referee Kevin Fisk calls for the bell to start the match as Elizabeht pushes out of the corner, glancing from Ruby over to the Atomic Championship sat on the desk. Ruby admires it too from afar before she meets her fellow blonde in the center of the ring. As the two lock eyes, Ruby surprises her with a quick grab of her head into a lungblower to take her down to the mat. She dives on top of her from there for the cover!

Zack: Ruby and Elizabeth are nose to–GOOD LORD!

ONE!

Gaby: Ruby isn’t gonna take many chances, is she?! Straight for the core, and she’s already making Elizabeth waste energy!

But Lannister kicked out almost immediately as the one count was on the way down. She pushed the musician off her, and went to get to her feet before Steele used that to pull her into a schoolgirl rollup, causing the referee to dive into position again!

Zack: Elizabeth hadn’t even gotten back to her feet yet! Here we go again!

ONE!!

Gaby: Lightning fast decisions by Ruby here, I can see the strat, and it might just work!

The “Lioness” kicked out for the second time, and tried to get back to her feet. But Steele was right behind her, going back to back to pull her arms down into a backslide for another pin attempt.

Zack: And another pin attempt!

ONE!

Lannister kicked out a third time, and quickly rolled towards the ropes and got back to her feet before Ruby could grab her again. Steele hopped back to a vertical base with a grin on her face as she looked at Elizabeth.

Gaby: Here’s the problem with the strat: it’s Elizabeth! But I think Ruby wanted to get an early burst and surprise Lannister with a flash victory so she will be fully energized for the second match! But, uh… I’mma guess… I’mma guess it’s time for a plan B.

It was clear by the expression on Lannister’s face that she was irritated now as Ruby advanced on her, trying to rush her with a running European uppercut. But the “Lioness” sidestepped her, causing her to turn around in an elbow to the mouth that stunned her. Two more landed for the former Future Shock star before Elizabeth wrapped Steele’s arm around the top rope with one hand, and unleashed a barrage of chops to her chest with the other. Six in a row landed before the “Lioness” yanked her forward into a ripcord knee strike.

Zack: You could tell Ruby’s antics in trying to end this quickly got under her skin, but it’s actually pretty smart. She knows if she wins, she has to come back later for the second round. It makes sense to try to seal the deal in this opening round as quickly as you can.

Gaby: Exactly! If you waste zero energy in the first match, you have a full tank for the second. And they’re looking at either a brickhouse in Clover Thomas or a bouncing dynamo in Mikayla Stone; they’re gonna need all the focus and energy in the world to take on one of them.

Elizabeth wasted no time in quickly applying a crossface as Ruby tried to get back to her feet. She cranked back on the hold, applying as much pressure as she could while the referee checked to see if Steele wanted to stop the match. But she didn’t, especially while Diamond was rallying the fans behind her fellow bandmate. Steele’s teeth were gritted as she used her free arm to try to reach the ropes.

Zack: The winner of this match will meet the winner of Clover and Mikayla coming up next later tonight to crown the first Atomic Champion. Meanwhile, Elizabeth is trying to get a submission as quickly as she can.

Gaby: If she does manage to put Ruby away with a submission, that’ll be the optimal way of walking into the second match, but like I said, she’s focusing on the upper body when she should be looking into softening up the lower half!

The referee checked again, still getting a firm “NO!” in response to his question as Ruby clawed her way closer to the ropes with her free arm. She stretched her arm as much as she could before her middle fingertip was on the rope. Fisk called for the break, but Elizabeth didn’t release. Instead she rolled over with the hold, and now had Ruby facing the far ropes as she pulled back further on the submission.

Gaby: Whoa! Look at the control on Elizabeth’s legs, being able to roll a crossface like that and bringing Ruby as far away from a break as possible! Time to show how flexible you are!

Zack: Elizabeth has been a titleholder..sort of in her past. Not in FFW, but let’s remember she did hold the Aspire Ring in Future Shock for a time, if you recall, Gaby.

Gaby: She’s familiar with the back to back defenses, that was the jist of the Aspire Ring as well. But very few of the Ring’s holders managed to trade the ring in for a title shot, and this is a historic mistake Liz would love to correct tonight.

Kyle looked on approvingly from ringside as Elizabeth tried to pull back even further on the hold. Ruby’s face had started turning red by this point before she pushed some of Lannister’s fingers into her mouth and bit them for a couple seconds, causing Elizabeth to break the hold and get back to her feet, shaking her hand as she did so. Diamond pounded the mat and encouraged her bandmate to get back to her feet as Kyle inspected Elizabeth’s hand for a second before she turned back around with an angry expression.

Zack: Ruby was a long way from the ropes, and decided to take the shark bite approach to getting free. Lannister is not happy either, can’t really blame her.

Gaby: I mean, that’s one way of getting out of such a hold. I won’t condone it, but not only does it work, I could see Elizabeth doing the same thing if the roles were reversed. So… Yay?

As soon as she went to grab her, Ruby surprised her with a jawbreaker that sent her stumbling backwards. The musician began landing right hands to the jaw, backing her against the ropes before she whipped her across to the far side. As soon as the “Lioness” rebounded, Ruby rolled forward and sprung up from her feet into a flying shoulder block to take Lannister down to the canvas. The crowd was getting behind her too as she bolted towards the ropes next, using them for a springboard splash across Elizabeth’s body for the cover with the far leg hooked.

Zack: Ruby’s rallying back, and she wants to end this as quickly as she can! There’s the hook!

ONE!!

TW-NO.

Gaby: Not yet! Ruby keeps going for Elizabeth’s core, and you have to ask, is that the right strategy still?

The veteran still kicked out in time, shoving Ruby off the cover. Steele took off for the ropes, catching Elizabeth on the rebound with a one-handed bulldog that put her down on the mat again. She quickly glanced behind her, leaving her feet for a phoenix splash before she rolled her over and went for the cover again.

Zack: A standing phoenix splash and Ruby’s got her sights set on the finals later tonight!

ONE!!

TWOOOO!!!

TH-NO!!

Elizabeth got her shoulder up in time before the three, and Ruby was back to her feet a second later. She clutched the back of her neck for a moment, and headed towards the corner to make her way up top. Kyle was shouting loudly as he tried to warn his client where she was going.

Gaby: And there’s what happens when you don’t take a high flyer out by the legs. Ruby’s gonna fly, and Elizabeth is pretty much gasping for air in the center of the ring!

Steele launched herself off the top rope, landing a frog splash perfectly on target before she hooked the far leg for the cover. Diamond was very animated at ringside as the referee….was trying to get Kyle down off the apron. Meanwhile, the fans were counting the fall for Fisk. Diamond darted around the corner to get the manager down, but he hopped off instead and the referee spun around and dove to make the count.

Gaby: And that crook Kyle allowing Elizabeth to take as much of a breather as she can! Anyone keeping tabs of me complaining about Kilmeade at home can mark that one off!

ONE!!

TWOOOOOO!!!

TH-NOOO!!

Zack: I think she might have had her if the referee wasn’t otherwise preoccupied! Lannister had basically a ten count to kick out by the time he got into position!

But Elizabeth got her shoulder up in time before the three. Ruby looked at the referee with a pleading expression as she got back to her feet. Shaking her head, she dragged the “Lioness” to her feet and hooked her into position for her DDT finisher. But Elizabeth countered with a back body drop and stumbled forward.

Zack: Ruby was looking for her favorite move right there, she calls it RUBY TUESDAY for some reason. But Elizabeth found a way out, she’s gotta stay on top of her!

Gaby: See, that’s the problem, she should’ve gunned for a Ruby Saturday.

Steele darted towards her, grabbing her from behind into a full nelson before Elizabeth ducked down and dove her head between the ropes. The top rope caught Ruby across the chest, causing her to stagger backwards coughing before Elizabeth followed up with her reverse roundhouse kick to the jaw that dropped her where she stood.

Zack: You may not like her, but that was an inspired counter from our resident “Lioness” out of whatever Ruby was looking to land there right into the KINGSLAYER!

Gaby: And this is where the bet might pay off! Elizabeth let Ruby get away with her burst offensive, but if she doesn’t know where she is, there’ll be no second match for her!

Kyle was very animated at ringside as he shouted instruction and advice, while Diamond was trying to rally the fans. Lannister pulled Ruby to her feet, hooking her head into position as the fans came to their feet. A scowl crossed the model’s face.

Zack: Elizabeth has had quite enough of this!

She went for her DDT finisher, but Ruby shoved her backwards instead. The “Lioness” was off balance for a second as Steele hit the ropes, using them for a disaster kick into her own DDT finisher! Diamond’s eyes were as wide as saucers practically as Ruby went for the cover with both legs hooked!

Zack: The RAINS OF CASTAMERE have…been called off! There’s RUBY TUESDAY!!

ONE!!

TWOOOOOO!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Fisk called for the bell to a pop from the crowd as Diamond rushed into the ring to help her best friend up to her feet. The referee raised her hand after that.

Gaby: I take my horrible joke back! Ruby Steele pulls it off, and the Highlight Reel and FFW’s resident witch can already look forward to the final match with THIS woman!

Kyle cursed to himself before pulling Elizabeth towards him to check on her. Diamond gave Ruby a big hug with a wide smile on her face.

Kat: Your winner by pinfall and advancing to the finals of the Atomic Tournament…RUBY STEELE!!

Zack: Half the puzzle is complete for the finals. It’ll be that woman right there meeting Clover Thomas or Mikayla Stone later tonight to crown FFW’s first Atomic Champion. She’s got her work cut out for her either way, I think. Trying to conserve energy as she was at the start, well…that didn’t quite pan out. But she’s got three matches to get herself together before the main event.

Gaby: And the fact the highflyer won the first match raises an interesting question. Will our finals be a collision of two dynamos, or the tale of the irresistible force against the unmovable object? That’s what we’ll learn… Next!

Diamond started hyping up her friend as she pointed towards the Atomic title and telling her it was as good as hers, bringing a smile to Ruby’s face as the show went to a commercial break.

Kayla Catches Up with Kyle

The live show returns from the commercial break to find Kyle shaking his head as he walks through the back. He heads towards Josephine to talk with her about something before Kayla Palmer catches up with him…with something in her hand.

Kayla: Kyle, can I have a word with you if you don’t mind?

He turns towards her with a long exhale, clearly not in the best mood considering what just happened in the tournament match.

Kyle: What do you want?

It’s at that moment that Josephine Star appears on camera, arching an eyebrow at Kayla quickly before turning to Kyle.

Jo: Am I interrupting anything?

Kayla: I just had two things I wanted to ask about. First, we just saw your client come up short against Ruby Steele and she’s heading to the finals of tonight’s Atomic Tournament.

Kyle: Yeah, and? I was ringside for that, Kayla. I saw it at a better angle than you did. What do you want me to say?

Jo: What’s the saying? Broken clocks are right twice a day. It’s not the result anyone with any sense wanted, but it’s what happened. And unfortunately for everyone we now have a higher chance of seeing one of that mob as the first Atomic Champion.

Kayla: I also wanted to give you the award you won last year.

She holds out the plaque, which Kyle takes and looks down to see it’s the Feud of the Year award for 2024 along with Crystal Hilton.

Kyle: Oh yeah…the award the fans gave a woman for trying to break my neck through most of 2024.

He clearly is insulted just looking at it. Jo looks over her manager’s shoulder at it, and pulls a face.

Jo: The fact that fans are awarding Crystal for spending most of a year going after someone who doesn’t fucking wrestle just shows how…weird their mentality is. We get it, they don’t like you. But the fact this was even considered to be up for this is madness.

Kayla: I know this isn’t a scheduled interview, but I thought you should have it.

Kyle looks from her to Josephine down to the plaque in his hand.

Kyle: Insult to injury, right? You wanted to rub my face in what happened earlier AND the people out there wanted to reward a woman for trying to take me out in 2024. Well I can tell you where they can put this plaque…

He heads off down the hallway with Josephine at his side as Kayla looks back to the camera.

Kayla: Sounds like Kyle isn’t interested in his award, but I’m sure the other awards winners are very happy about theirs.

As she’s talking, he passes a trash can and holds out his hand to drop the plaque in it…but stops himself as he’s seen looking down at it. He glances towards Josephine and scoops it back under his arm and keeps walking before the show returns to the ring.

The show returns to the ring, and that’s where we find Kat Grayson back in the center ready to begin her introductions for the next match.

Kat: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is part of the Atomic Tournament to crown the first ever FFW Atomic Champion!

Zack: One half of the title match later is determined, now we’ll see who’s going to be standing across from Ruby in their second match of the night. Do you have a favorite here, Gaby?

Gaby: Clover and Mikayla have fought before, exactly one year ago in the first show of 2024. Clover walked out the winner that time. Mikayla would love nothing more than to have a do-over, correct that and advance to the title match with Ruby.

The lights go out completely as the opening of Legendary by Welshy Arms starts to play. A rumble like thunder can be heard, getting louder and louder until a lightning effect flashes across the stage. The lightning strikes again and again, each time catching a glimpse of a female figure descending from the rafters on a trapeze-like swing.

Take a look around me
Taking pages from a magazine
Been looking for the answers
Ever since we were seventeen
You know the truth can be a weapon
To fight this world of ill intentions
A new answer to the same question
How many times will you learn the same lesson?

I think they got it all wrong
We just gotta hold on
And on, and on, and on

The lightning strikes come to an end as the lights come back up as they do, the female figure stands up on the trapeze swing a few feet off the ground, facing away from the crowd and then backflips off it to land in a crouch with her head lowered looking at the stage.

'Cause we're gonna be legends
Gonna get their attention
What we're doing here ain't just scary
It's about to be legendary
Yeah, we're gonna be legends
Gonna teach 'em all a lesson
Got this feeling in our souls we carry
It's about to be legendary

As the word legendary is sung, Mikayla Stone leaps to her feet with her arms in the air to a pop from the crowd. She soaks it in for a second before she takes off towards the ring at a run.

This is what we came for
And we couldn't want it anymore
We could never turn back now
Got to leave it all on the floor

Kat: Introducing at this time from Salem, Oregon…...MIKAYLA STONE!

When she reaches the ring, Mikayla jumps up onto the apron and turns around to smile at the crowd before she climbs to stand on the top rope. She gives the crowd a wave and then backflips into the ring to land with a smirk. She makes her way to her corner as her music comes to an end.

Zack: Adam said he picked four women for this tournament who have never held a title on the FFW roster, and that’s what he did precisely. However, Mikayla here has held gold in this company. She was Future Shock’s Nova Champion for six months in 2020.

Gaby: So she knows the feeling, and she would love to emulate it again. Like Elizabeth in the last match, Mikayla is proof that the transition from Future Shock to the main roster may be bumpy sometimes, and she definitely wants to achieve glory again.

I'mmadoitlikeitain'tbeendone
I'mma do it like it AIN'T. BEEN. DONE!

As "Ain't Been Done" echoes throughout the venue, punctuated by a burst of vibrant lights of green and red. Amidst the swirling lights, a spotlight shines down on the entrance ramp, and out steps Clover Thomas, wearing a robe adorned with her signature symbol, the four-leaf clover, arms open and smirking at the crowd. She stops at the top of the ramp and strikes a pose, pointing to the lights atop the stage, before pulling her arm in a "heck yeah" motion and proceeding to strut down the entrance ramp, taking the time to indulge in high-fives with the fans on the front rows.

Kat: And her opponent... From New York City, standing at 6-feet tall... "The Highlight of the Night"... CLOVER! THOMAS!!!

As she approaches the ring, Clover ascends the steel steps and pauses at the ring apron, casting a determined gaze over the sea of faces, bobbing her head to the sound of music, before stepping between the ropes. As she enters the ring, she quickly gets rid of the robe, throwing it to the side before walking up to the hard cam ropes and stretching her arms, as if she could hug the audience, before pointing to the lights again. Ultimately, she goes to her corner and starts stretching, as she gets ready for show time.

Zack: Clover Thomas has one of the most impressive records since returning to FFW that you could ask for. The only two women who could stop her were the previous and current Phoenix Champions. Tonight, she’s got every metric advantage you can ask for, except maybe speed. I think that’s Mikayla’s biggest advantage.

Gaby: And like I said, Clover has the imposing advantage of having defeated Mikayla before. A wrestler can always reinvent herself, but there are staples to each style, and Clover seems to know Mikayla’s. I’m not necessarily betting on the Highlight of the Night, but I’m sure she believes that, if she’s done it before, she can do it again.

Referee Stephen Wilson calls for the bell before the two women meet in the center of the ring to shake hands and wish one another luck. Clover looks confident as always as Mikayla takes a deep breath as she sizes up the powerhouse in front of her. As soon as she does, the brunette starts firing kicks into Clover’s knee and ankle. She lands three before Thomas piefaces her backwards, and goes to grab her before Mikayla uses a low angle dropkick to that same knee. That catches the blonde off guard for a second, allowing the witch to use a leg sweep to take that foot away from her and snag it under one arm. A dragon screw leg whip snaps Clover to the mat before Mikayla grabs her foot, and starts spiking her knee into the canvas.

Zack: It took her about a half dozen shots to do it, but Mikayla’s got Clover off her feet now. And she’s far less effective face down on the mat, Stone using that knee like a hammer to a nail.

Gaby: And notice how Mikayla is going for risky, powerful moves right off the bat. The dragon screw is one of the hardest moves I know. Not for who applies it, but for who takes it, because it can easily snap the leg out of place.

The brunette hadn’t done it very much before Clover rolled onto her back, using both feet to piston Mikayla backwards. The witch quickly got her balance, giving Thomas a chance to get up and catch her coming forward with a high hip toss to send her to the mat. Those few shots to the knee gave Clover a half second of pause as she watched Stone starting to get up, and then put her down with a knee lift to the body.

Zack: Clover is far from new to this game. A lot of her opponents have gone after her legs in the past, she knows that score. Some go for her eyes, at least she doesn’t have to worry about that with Mikayla.

Gaby: And here’s the thing about powerhouses: all their power is in the chest and the arms. Those knee lifts are less about how Clover is spiking her knee up, but how hard she can bring Mikayla down into it.

She rubbed her knee for just a second until she saw her opponent getting back to her feet. A back heel kick to the body doubled Stone over long enough for the powerhouse to scoop her onto her shoulders into a Samoan drop. As the witch started to sit up, Clover stopped that with a cheerleader split leg drop to the chest and quickly rolled back to her feet. The baby of the Stone sisters rolled towards the ropes with the powerhouse hot on her heels, catching her with a spinning backfist as she approached. It dazed Clover for a second before Mikayla used the middle rope for a springboard into a Pele kick to the top of the blonde’s head that dropped her to a knee.

Zack: Look at these two going at it, Gaby. Neither one of them has been able to maintain the advantage for very long, and it seems like they are swinging for the fences every chance they get. Like we talked about, whoever wins has to come back later tonight for another match.

Gaby: Going the distance in this match may be a dangerous choice, especially now that we know Ruby Steele is waiting for the winner on the other side!

Stone popped back to her feet, delivering a shining wizard to Clover’s head to put her down on the mat again. Another springboard off the middle rope landed with a moonsault onto the powerhouse before she went for the cover, and Wilson moved quickly into position.

Zack: Mikayla looking to conserve all kinds of energy for the second round!

ONE!

TW-NO.

Clover boosted her off the cover with both hands though, sending her rolling towards the ropes. The baby Stone sister quickly got to her feet, taking off towards the blonde as she was getting up again. But she ran into a goozle around her neck before Thomas rose and chokeslammed her to the mat.

Gaby: Clover is surprisingly fast for her size, and look at how she conserves energy too!

Clover rubbed her knee for a moment before she pulled the brunette back to her feet. A hard Irish whip sent her into the far corner followed by a clothesline from the New Yorker that smashed her against it. She snapped her arms around her waist, and sent her flying with a release German suplex. That slowed Mikayla down considerably. As she tried to get back to her feet again, Clover yanked her forward into a leg hook Saito suplex to the canvas.

Zack: Mikayla’s getting the trash bag treatment here as Clover throws her pretty much wherever she wants her to land. This may be the first time anyone’s been in control for more than a minute since the bell rang.

Gaby: Yeah, Clover is getting more comfortable and has the chance to bring the pace of the match down to her liking. Standing still may be good for Mikayla to catch her breath, but it also means getting ragdolled like nobody’s business.

The powerhouse watched as Mikayla started to get to her feet again, only for Clover to approach from behind and apply a full nelson. The baby of the Stone sisters immediately began trying to get free as soon as she felt it applied, including kicking her feet and trying to make it to the ropes. But Clover’s power was a little too much for her, not that it stopped the witch from trying to get there.

Zack: Look at Mikayla fighting like hell to get out of this hold. With a woman of Clover’s considerable strength, she can put Mikayla’s lights out in a hurry. I’m trying to see if she has the fingers locked.

A different camera angle showed that she didn’t, but Clover was trying to do it and was having trouble with all of Stone’s squirming.

Gaby: Look at this angle, Z! Clover doesn’t have the grip! Mikayla’s struggling like an angry cat and Clover can’t lock it in! If she does, might as well tuck Stone in for the night!

Wilson moved around to see if Mikayla wanted to stop the match, but she showed no signs of that. But her movements were starting to slow a bit at this point, prompting the brunette to raise one leg and stomp Clover’s knee behind her. Another almost mule kick to the knee broke Thomas’ stance, and Mikayla lunged towards the ropes. She used her feet to kick off and ended up rolling on top of Clover with her feet to the mat, while she was still trapped in the hold! Wilson dove into position.

Zack: What a counter! She’s gonna pin Clover in her own hold!

ONE!!

TWOOO!!

TH-NO.

But Clover broke the hold, and shoved her off the cover. The New Yorker sat up, looking at Wilson and double checking it wasn’t a three count. He assured her it was just a two as she got back to her feet, looking over to Stone who was kneeling and trying to pull herself together.

Gaby: Clover just saw her championship match flash before her eyes here, and the panic in the big girl’s face tells us everything about how bad she wants this opportunity!

A stern look crossed the blonde’s face as she went to get her, walking into a rising elbow smash to the mouth. It stunned her before a second and a third landed in quick succession, backing Clover up before Mikayla grabbed her arm into an inverted stomp facebreaker that floored the powerhouse to the canvas. Stone rolled towards the ropes, using them to help her get back to her feet before she took off for the far side. When Thomas got back to a knee, Mikayla caught her with a Busaiku knee to the jaw before diving on top of her for the cover!

Zack: What a shot! Was that spit or a tooth?! Mikayla’s going to the finals!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOO!!!

THR-NOO.

Wilson only got to two before the shoulder came up, and Mikayla rolled off the cover and headed towards the corner. She made her way up top facing the crowd before peering through her legs, and launching herself into a moonsault! Only her opponent rolled out of the way, and let her hit the mat instead.

Gaby: NOBODY HOME!!! Clover moved out of harm’s way, and what a BAD landing for Mikayla!

She clutched her ribs in pain as Clover slowly made it back to her feet. She let Stone make it to her feet before she grabbed her by the throat with both hands for a sitout powerbomb, then rolled through for the cover with a leg hook. The referee was in position almost instantly.

Zack: A THUNDEROUS Rydeen bomb! Hey Ruby, you got a date with Clover later tonight!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NO.

Mikayla barely got her shoulder off the mat as the three was practically on the canvas. Clover gave the referee a look, seeing if he was sure. But he assured her he was as she got back to her feet.

Gaby: You couldn’t get a paint job there! SO CLOSE to the golden ticket to the finals, but Mikayla presses on!

Clover towered over her opponent before she picked her up…way up over her head as her eyes looked up to Mikayla just before she delivered her delayed gorilla press powerslam! She hooked the leg again for the cover as the referee was in position a split second later.

Zack: She got up from the powerbomb, but she won’t get up from the SKY HIGHLIGHT!

ONE!!

TWOOOOOOO!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Wilson called for the bell before Clover finally got back to her feet, getting a loud response from the Toronto fans as her music began to play again. Then she got her hand raised.

Gaby: The higher they are, the harder they fall! And we have a championship match!

Kat: Your winner by pinfall and advancing to the finals of the Atomic Tournament…..’THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE NIGHT’ CLOVER THOMAS!!

Clover nodded her head, a smile starting to spread across her face at the reaction before she headed towards the ropes and cast a long look at the Atomic title. She looked at the crowd as she pointed to it with a grin.

Zack: Clover has her eyes on the prize, and is she ever gonna be a load later tonight to have to handle! We got two more matches before the finals, and she may want to stay warmed up in that time.

Gaby: Ruby Steele or Clover Thomas – one of these two women will be our first Atomic Champion! The bouncing baby of the Gemstones or the New York powerhouse! One of them will write history in tonight’s main event!

She stepped out of the ring to head towards the back before the show went to a commercial break for the upcoming Future Shock Undeniable 2 event next month.

Sofia and Whatshername

We head to the back into one of the locker rooms, and that’s where we find Sofia Rojas lacing up her boots for her tag match later in the show. As usual, her boyfriend is not far behind. He notices the camera entering, and turns towards it.

Jason: Tonight on the first ever edition of Atomic, I know people are talking about the tournament and all that jazz. But what I’m talking about is this woman right here. For quite a little while now, this woman right here has carried a group on her back and elevated them to major matches on both the regular shows as well as the big events. Tonight will be no different as she helps Brittany achieve success when they face Robbyn and Caitlyn. The latter of whom has already been pinned by Sofia, so I’m not entirely sure what makes her the #1 contender instead of Sofia. Someone do the math on that for me.

Sofia turns her eyes over to the camera. She cracks a wicked grin just shrugging her shoulders.

Sofia: Honestly I don’t really have a clue either but if there was any doubt on why I should be and in my opinion the only and rightful number one contender. Seek no further than what’s going to happen tonight! I plan to pick back up right where I left off. Beats Caitlyn on the final Breaking Point, and beat her and Helmsley on the first ever Atomic. It doesn’t get any more definitive than it does with that. After that happens there will be no question that I deserve it because I worked hard for it. Hell even with carrying dead weight on my shoulders in Brittany Williams that should equate to extra credit or something.

Jason: I’ll be impressed if those two can even get along. I can’t say as I’d be all that enthusiastic about teaming with a woman who beat the hell out of me in our first match together. But at least in Sofia and whatshername, you have two women who are on the same page because Sofia and I wrote the whole page and spelled it out in one syllable words for her partner to be able to fully understand it.

Sofia just smirks.

Sofia: She just needs to follow the script and get on board. It’s a shame she can’t be like her aunt Jennifer or her cousin Emily, but whatshername should focus on being three generations a loser and more of following my lead on how to be great. If she listens she might have a place as maybe a mid low-carder. She won’t ever be to where I am on the card but she will find a place. It’s plug and play, and it’s as simple as that. It’s time to move on past her twin and focus on me, and the task at hand.

Jason took Sofia’s hand in his.

Jason: Now excuse us while we go make some magic happen.

He walks alongside her out of the locker room before we see a graphic for the tag match coming up next before Atomic takes a commercial break.

The show returns from the commercial break to the ring, where we find the enchanting Kat Grayson once again ready to handle the next introductions.

Kat: The following tag team contest is scheduled for one fall to a finish.

Zack: This should be interesting. One team has never worked together before, and is composed of the Evolution Champion and her #1 contender. The other team has worked together before, but “La Coneja” fired her husband from managing the Dynasty to replace him with the man she had a very public affair, in my view, for months. What a tangled web we weave, Gaby!

Gaby: … “Fired her husband” is a statement that goes unreasonably hard, and for some reason makes a lot of things make sense. Not that I’ve ever wanted to make sense of Sofia Rojas’ machinations, but here we are!

Hot and dangerous
If you're one of us, then roll with us
'Cause we make the hipsters fall in love
When we've got our hot pants on and up

And yes, of course we does
We running this town just like a club
And no, you don't wanna mess with us
Got Jesus on my necklace-ace-ace

Got that glitter on my eyes
Stockings ripped all up the side
Looking sick and sexified
So let's go-o-o (Let's go)

Kat: Introducing on her way to the ring. She is wrestling’s royalty. Third Generation superstar “Princess” Brittany Williams!!!

We R Who We R by Ke$ha begins to blast across all the speakers. Princess Brittany Williams emerges from behind the curtain wearing a Tiara on her head and a scepter in her hand. She smiles as the crowd welcomes her with cheers. Paparazzi snap photos of the little heiress as she walks to the ring doing a royalty wave. Brittany slides into the ring as she slowly takes her Tiara off and raises her scepter high into the air. She throws them to the side waiting for her opponent to come out next.

Zack: I’ve heard rumblings that Brittany and Sofia haven’t been on the same page for a while after what Rojas did to her now former husband. They’ve only had one tag match together, which was the 8 woman elimination tag match last year at Forsaken.

Gaby: But Brittany has fought on Sofia’s behalf numerous times, and the Dynasty is a unit centered around the only woman of the family that’s not… well, part of the family. When you really think about it, the Williams have tied their credibility to a woman who cares nothing about it, and dissension in the ranks is the obvious next step of the way.

Unforgettable (Latin Mix) by French Montana begins to blast across the speakers. As it does Sofia makes her way through the curtains to the loud sounds of boos. She isn't alone as her boyfriend Jason walks out as well. Jason is waving a Colombian flag proudly for his girl as she begins to twerk and dance to the music.

Kat: Ladies and gentlemen making her way to the ring from Bogota Colombia now residing in Los Angeles California, being accompanied to the ring by her boyfriend Jason Bennett she is “La Coneja” Sofia Rojas!

Sofia stops in the aisle and continues to shake her ass before she runs her hands through her hair and winks at them.  Jason however does a marathon around the ring waving that Colombia flag as if he won the Olympics for that country. Sofia slowly enters the ring cracking a wicked grin as she waits patiently for the match to start. Jason stands at ringside waiting for an opportunity to get involved to help his girl.

Zack: And there they are. Jason is not Colombian, for the record, but the things you do for love, I guess? Either way, I’m curious to see how Sofia will get along with Brittany, because I’m not sure it’s going to be rainbows and puppy dogs. Earlier tonight when we heard from her, she kept calling Brittany whatshername…

Gaby: Jason’s not Colombian, Sofia was never a Williams, Brittany was never part of the plan, and there’s only so much fucking around before you start finding out. Sofia is one of the soapiest women in FFW, as in no matter what she does, she keeps slipping away from responsibilities while still finding her way to success over other people’s expenses; and sometimes these people are her own allies.

Kat: And their opponents…

Ah-ooh!
If you got troubles let 'em go
Let 'em soar so high, high into the sky
Just like a red balloon

“Red Balloon” by Charli XCX begins to play as red balloons fall from the ceiling, just before Caitlyn comes out through the curtain, looking up in amazement at the balloons showering down on the crowd before looking down to the ring.

Monday morning
Shoot up like a rocket
Yeah, the sun is shining
Keep it in my pocket
Got this golden feeling
Never gonna stop, it just goes on and on

The balloons start getting tossed around in the crowd as Caitlyn makes her way down the ramp to the ring. The former fitness instructor hops up onto the apron and over the top rope to high five a smiling Kat.

Kat: Introducing at this time....Hailing from New York City, New York and weighing in at One Hundred and Twenty-Six pounds...She is Caitlyn Storm!

Today, I opened my eyes
And now I'm so happy and free
I've got my friends by my side
And that's all that matters to me
So, come on, get up and join in
'Cause this is just what you need
Let's do it all day long

Caitlyn heads for the corner, and climbs up to the second turnbuckle. She glances around the crowd pumping her fist in the air a couple of times to get them even more amped up. The music fades out from there as Caitlyn climbs back down to await the start of the match.

Zack: This woman right here is the next in line to challenge for the Evolution Championship in what would be the tiebreaker between herself and Robbyn. That’s already been added to the card for Vendetta on April 5th.

Gaby: Ever since Robbyn Helmsley came back to FFW, she made that woman her target, and the fact we get to watch them tangle again with the belt on the line will be glorious. But let’s not forget that SOMEHOW, Sofia has wormed her way into the Evolution Championship scene, and this is a miscarriage of history Caitlyn should strive not to let happen again.

A very heavily influenced country/rock guitar riff echoes through the building as the building lights begin to flicker and dance along the stage while larger spotlights flicker on either side of the ramp through the crowd. The entrance screen shows the words “Mami’s Home” before purple fire quickly takes over the screen. The crowd gives a positive reaction with some cheering loudly and others cheering even louder.

“I'm just an underthinkin', overusin', tall drinkin', short fusin'
Gettin' in my own way”
“I'm just a blood-stained, folded hands
Throwin' back the milligrams
I can't find the breaks
I'm hidin' from the sun
Devil ridin' shotgun
God knows I'ma crash and burn”

As the first line of the song is sung Robbyn struts out onto the stage. She holds her head high looking over the crowd as she makes her way to center stage. The smile on Robbyn’s face glows as she makes it to center stage as she adjusts the collar of her vest. As the word ‘burn’ is sung she crouches down making a wing motion with her arms, a tribute to being the ‘Alaskan Angel’ and as she rises, she stomps down causing a cascade of white fireworks to be sent down from the rafters as purple ones erupt from the front of the stage.

“Cause that highway to hell is the road I'm on
I need to turn around before I'm too far gone
If I'm ever gonna make it on them streets of gold
I gotta quit livin' on a dead end road”

The camera pulls away the purple flames quickly morphing into  a metallic set of angel wings, centered so perfectly around Robbyn. As the word “road” is sang Robbyn runs her fingers through her hair and begins to make her way down the ramp, getting close to the crowd and giving as many of the front row fans a five along the way.

“I'm a red-linin', low-lifein', anything but law-abidin'
Feels too good to quit
I'm runnin' off the edge, they say I'm just a wreck
Diggin' me deeper than six”

She makes her way to the end of the ramp and turns away from the stairs, the Alaskan gets next to the ring post where again she adjusts the leather vest, as she looks into the crowd, wiggling her fingers at them in a wave before she again gives a few of them a high five. As she hops up onto the ring apron she holds the middle rope before letting go of the ring rope, still crouching she seemingly takes in the crowd with the smallest of smiles before telling the world that “Mami’s Home”.

“Cause that highway to hell is the road I'm on
I need to turn around before I'm too far gone
If I'm ever gonna make it on them streets of gold
I gotta quit livin' on a dead end road”

As Robbyn stepped through the ropes she pointed over to the Breaking Point announcer Kat Grayson to make the announcement as she looked into the crowd with her arms open soaking in the reception she’s receiving, with a small nod of her head. The Darkhorse looks up towards the sky and places a hand on her chest paying homage to her parents.

Kat: Hailing from Deadhorse, Alaska. She is the reigning FFW Evolution Champion and the ALASKAN DARKHORSE..... ROBBBBBBBBYYYYYYNNNNNNNNN HEELLLLLLLLMMSLEYYYYYY!!!!

'Cause that highway to hell is the road I'm on
I need to turn around before I'm too far gone
If I'm ever gonna make it on them streets of gold
I gotta quit livin' on a dead end road
If I'm ever gonna make it on them streets of gold
I gotta quit livin' on a dead end road

Robbyn hops up into the corner and blows Kat a kiss, with another finger wiggling wave after. She takes a seat on the top turnbuckle as she checks her wrist tape before waiting for the referee to start the match, resting her left hand against her lips and chin like she was chewing on her thumb nail to compose herself while she waits

Zack: Robbyn picked up what I thought was the toughest win since she returned back at our last FFW event of 2024, Sabotage when she pinned Mara Werth. But just because she got that defense in the books, that doesn’t mean the line still isn’t growing to challenge her for it.

Gaby: Two women in the ring right now want her belt, and are sitting in line for a chance. Robbyn knocked down the unstoppable former Phoenix Champion in another of the increasingly grueling trials since capturing the Evolution Championship, and walking into this match, it must feel like staring down the barrel of two weapons ready to fire. You think she’s scared, though? No chance.

Referee Melinda Davis calls for the bell to start the match, and we see it’s Robbyn who will be starting for her team. As soon as that happens, Sofia steps out to the apron and leaves Brittany standing in the corner. She pats her on the shoulder, and encourages her to go get the champion. Williams glances between her and Robbyn for a moment before shaking her head, and meeting the powerhouse in the center of the ring.

Zack: I guess Sofia wasn’t too interested in squaring off with the Evolution Champion, which is interesting since after her win over Caitlyn, you’d think that’d be the person she most wanted to meet in the ring.

Gaby: Sofia’s mind works in mysterious ways, and I’m not gonna try to decipher them right now. But one thing’s for certain: if she can send someone else to do her job while she reaps the rewards, you bet your rear that’s what she’ll do.

The two women lock up in the center of the ring, and the champion easily pushes her backwards into the ropes. When the referee calls for a break, the Evolution Champion gives one and piefaces Brittany’s head as she steps back. The self-professed princess lunges forward into another collar and elbow tie-up before Robbyn catches her with a short knee to the body. She breaks the hold from there before taking her down with a snapmare to the canvas. Williams is barely halfway to her feet before Robbyn pulls her up from behind with a forearm to the back of her head. It sends her forward as Helmsley bounces off the ropes behind her with a one-handed bulldog.

Zack: As we’re seeing here, Brittany isn’t going to be able to stand toe to toe with the Evolution Champion. She’s gotta find a way to get her down. And keep her there. Easier said than done.

Gaby: Well, here’s the thing, Z, I don’t think Sofia is either; not without her underhanded shenanigans. That’s the point of sending Brittany into the fire: better having a cohort under the bus than herself.

Brittany starts back to her feet again before the champion whips her into a neutral corner. As soon as her back collides against the turnbuckles, Robbyn charges in with a corner clothesline before a barrage of fists drives her down to a seat against the corner. The Evolution Champion took off for the far side, coming back with a hip attack to crush her head against the corner before dragging her out by the foot and going for the cover.

Zack: Nothing but hammer fists and a hip attack to bring Williams down, and Helmsley’s ready to call it a night!

ONE!!

T-NO.

Brittany was far from done though as she kicked out, and Helmsley pulled her up into a front facelock. A barrage of knees to the head and chest landed before the Alaskan hoisted her up into a stalling vertical suplex.

Gaby: Here’s the curious part of this match, Z: Brittany is FAR more experienced in the ring than Sofia! She should have the wiles to take on someone this much more imposing than her, but by associating with Sofia it doesn’t look like she has that either!

With the crowd entirely behind her, the Alaskan pulled her back to her feet into a trio of shoulder blocks before firing her into the other neutral corner. Helmsley patted her arm before she barreled towards her with another corner clothesline in min, but ended up catching a boot in the face instead as Williams got her leg up. She hopped up onto the middle turnbuckle, coming off with a meteora to take Robbyn down and unload with a frenzy of right hands to the head.

Zack: Helmsley went to the well once too often there, and Brittany had seen that movie before. Now look at her throwing those blistering rights.

Gaby: That’s one of Robbyn’s sins, the overconfidence! No wrestler in FFW is gonna sit pretty and let themselves be a victim to the same strat over and over.

She finally got to her feet, and then began stomping away at the champion’s head. Brittany rebounded off the near side with a knee drop to the head after that, and rolled back to her feet. She returned to the same corner to deliver a double knee drop to the body that knocked all the wind out of the champion. An Asai moonsault off the middle rope landed perfectly before she hooked the leg for the cover.

Zack: I was told she calls that the WOO HOO STAY DOWN NOOB!

ONE!!

T-NO!

Helmsley kicked out and shoved her off the cover in the process. The champion sat up just as Williams fired a stiff front kick into her spine and a low angle dropkick to the back of her head.

Gaby: That’s a… childish name if I’ve ever heard one. How old is Brittany again?

The prodigal daughter dropped to a knee behind Robbyn to apply a bow and arrow submission by driving her knee into her back and pulling her arms behind her. Davis moved around to see about stopping the match, but the Evolution Champion gave no such sign she was going to do that. It caused Williams to try to increase the pressure and pull her arms back further. Meanwhile, Caitlyn was rallying the crowd for her partner and Sofia was talking to her boyfriend.

Gaby: Look at the differing dynamics in play here, Z. Brittany has Robbyn well stuck in the center of the ring with a submission, and while her RIVAL seems to be interested in watching Robbyn break free and carry on, Sofia couldn’t give two shits about… anything, really.

Zack: Caitlyn and Robbyn may not exchange gift baskets at Christmas, but look at the #1 contender showing support for her future opponent.

The crowd was responding to Caitlyn as she pounded the corner with her hand, causing them to stomp along with her. Williams pulled back a tiny bit further before the motivation from the crowd seemed to be driving the champion. Helmsley gritted her teeth and start to bring her hands together, overpowering the high flyer. Brittany quickly let go to deliver a blow before Robbyn laid back and caught her with a kick to the top of the head instead.

Zack: Look at the power display from Helmsley! Caitlyn with some help from these fans in Toronto got that adrenaline pumping again!

Gaby: And it would be a nice time to give Caitlyn the tag, the Red Balloon is ready to strike! Robbyn needs to put her confidence to the side a little!

Helmsley rolled to her feet, favoring her back for a moment as Brittany came forward. But Williams caught a right cross to the jaw that staggered her before Robbyn scooped her up into a spinebuster. She rolled away to a knee, one hand pressed to her at the same time. The Evolution Champion pulled her up by the arm, and then over her shoulder into a scoop slam before hooking the leg for the cover.

Zack: Her back may be hurting, but Robbyn’s gonna give Caitlyn the night off here!

ONE!!

TW-NO!

Gaby: Not yet! Brittany won’t let this go to bed this early, she’s gonna need a bit more, and NOW Sofia is on the corner!

But the Dynasty member got her shoulder off the mat in time. The champion pulled her back to her feet, hoisting her up into a fallaway slam that sent Williams rolling towards her corner. She reached up for the tag with Sofia smacking her hand to make it official. “La Coneja” was quick..like a bunny as she darted towards Robbyn as the champion was getting up, catching her with a running high knee to the back that sent her into the ropes. Rojas grabbed her head from behind into an inverted facebuster before she quickly went for the cover!

Zack: I don’t think that’s gonna be enough to keep Robbyn down at all, but prove me wrong, Sofia!

ONE!!

TWO!

Zack turned out to be right as Robbyn got her shoulder up as soon as the two count landed. Sofia didn’t break the cover though, and began hammering elbows into the side of her head before rolling away to her feet with her boyfriend shouting support at ringside.

Gaby: There we go, Sofia was just getting warmed up for this! Send Brittany in to waste just enough of the champion’s endurance, get in and look good!

The champion was up next with a scowl on her face…that only got worse when Sofia spit onto her cheek. Helmsley’s eyes widened as she took off towards her, only for Sofia to bolt to the corner and make the tag back to Brittany. Her partner looked at her in disbelief, but not for long before Robbyn grabbed her by the head with both heads and hurled Williams back into the ring. She took a swipe at Sofia, who had hopped down to the floor and was holding Jason’s hand.

Zack: What a partner! She spit on her and then let Brittany take the receipt for it! Get back on the apron! He’s not your tag partner!

Gaby: Do you think she cares? Sofia’s hardly a wrestler, she’s playing the game by her own rules and we're all hoping for the moment it REALLY comes back to bite her ass.

Brittany started to get up as Robbyn began using clubbing blows to her back to pound her down onto the mat. The champion cinched her up around the waist into a gutwrench suplex before pointing towards Caitlyn, getting a loud response from the crowd before she tagged in the bubbly blonde. The Evolution Champion pulled Brittany up into an atomic drop that propelled her into a flying shoulder tackle over the top rope into the ring from Caitlyn.

Gaby: Ha! Playing for the crowd, I see, but that’s a tag for the champion and the #1 contender, and look at Caitlyn, she’s got no time to lose!

Zack: Caitlyn has to be the freshest woman in the match…if we don’t count all twenty seconds of action from Sofia earlier.

Storm popped up to her feet as Brittany rolled away from her, only for the prodigal daughter to turn into a dropkick to the chest from the blonde that sent her into the ropes. Caitlyn whipped her across to the far side, and caught her on the rebound with a leaping blockbuster that dropped her where she stood. The former Evolution Champion dove into the cover as Davis dropped to count.

Zack: Caitlyn is a house on fire here, and Brittany can’t get out of her own way!

ONE!!

TWOOOOO!!!

TH-NOO.

Williams got her shoulder up in time, causing Storm to roll off the cover. She took off for the far side, and caught a kick to the back from Sofia as she hit the ropes. It stopped the former fitness instructor for a second, and caused her to go after “La Coneja” while Brittany was getting back to her feet.

Gaby: And Sofia with the illegal kick! Here’s hoping referee Melinda doesn’t lose control of this because of this rat!

Before the blonde could turn around, Brittany charged towards her and caught her with a backstabber that flipped her over to the canvas. Williams hopped back to her feet, and caught a blind tag to the hand from Sofia, who rejoined her in the ring. They both pulled her up together, and whipped her across for the ride into a flapjack on the rebound. Sofia quickly made the cover as Davis dropped to count.

Zack: There’s no way she’s going to put her away this quickly!

ONE!!

T-NO!

Zack turned out to be right as Caitlyn kicked out as the two count was coming down. Sofia quickly rolled her onto her stomach and started to scrub her face against the mat. She pulled her head back after that, and drove an elbow into her face as she sat on her back.

Gaby: The humiliation tactics running rampant here, as if Sofia had the right to tell her opponents what to do and get them to roll and sit like puppies!

Sofia transitioned from that into a camel clutch submission, using her hands to crank on the blonde’s head and neck as she leaned back. Davis moved around to see about stopping the match, but the former Evolution Champion made it clear she wasn’t quitting. Then it was Robbyn’s turn to start hyping up the crowd as she stomped the mat in her corner, getting a chant going for her tag partner.

Zack: Sofia’s got this hold expertly applied, but the champ’s trying to bring in that third partner into the match: these fans in Toronto. Also this is the longest Sofia’s been in the match since it started.

Gaby: And the way Robbyn and Caitlyn seem to have one another’s backs is a refreshing breath of air. A far cry from when Robbyn arrived, painting a bullseye on Storm’s back.

With the fans getting louder, it did seem to motivate Caitlyn more as she began kicking her feet behind her. She managed to get her foot across the bottom rope since they were close to Sofia’s corner, but Jason swatted her foot off before the referee noticed anything. Helmsley saw it though, and started down the apron towards him as the blonde got her foot there again. This time, the referee noticed and called for the break. Sofia released at four, and tagged Brittany back in again, who was still leaning against the turnbuckle trying to get herself together.

Zack: Brittany tagged in again. I think Sofia’s been in this match for just over a minute since the bell rang.

Gaby: It’s almost like Sofia doesn’t care about her family. Hm. Who’d-a thunk it.

Brittany gave her partner a look before she climbed up to the top turnbuckle. She watched as Caitlyn was beginning to get to all fours, and came off with a guillotine leg drop to the back of her head. Storm was rolled over after that for the cover.

Zack: I don’t think poor Brittany was rested enough yet, but it may be a moot point in three seconds! What a workhorse she’s been!

ONE!!

TWO!!

The blonde got her shoulder up after the two, and Williams was back to her feet a second later. She pulled the New Yorker to her feet, and hammered her with a couple forearms before sending her across for the ride.

Gaby: It’s almost like Brittany has something to prove! I just don’t know who this message is directed to – us, Sofia, or herself! But right now, she’s proving that she can hold out on her own!

Brittany went for a roundhouse kick on the rebound, only for Caitlyn to duck it and stop behind her. The Dynasty member turned into a superkick that dropped them both to the mat. The Toronto fans were getting louder now for Caitlyn as she crawled towards the ropes to get back to her feet.

Zack: Storm has definitely had some of the fire taken out of her, but she’s making it to her feet first. Brittany’s been wrestling this whole match almost on her own, and you know she can’t have much left in the tank.

Gaby: Sofia has made her wrestle on her own basically, and she’s getting a taste of what this woman has made her family put other people through… in a much more controlled environment, of course.

As Caitlyn got to her feet, so was her opponent. With Sofia screaming at her partner to get up and stop her, Brittany lunged forward to grab Storm from behind. But all she caught was a mule kick to the body, and Caitlyn used the middle rope for a springboard into her spinning heel kick! The impact brought the crowd to their feet as the blonde dove across her for the cover. Robbyn stepped in after the referee dropped to count, daring Sofia to come back.

Zack: STORM RISING!! Brittany never saw it coming!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Davis called for the bell as Robbyn went to help her partner up to her feet before the pair had their hand raised. Sofia and Jason shouted at Brittany from ringside, clearly not happy with her now.

Kat: Your winners by pinfall….’THE ALASKAN DARKHORSE’ ROBBYN HELMSLEY and CAITLYN STORM!!

The winning team shook hands before the referee returned the champion’s title to her, drawing a long look from Caitlyn as she raised her title over her head. Meanwhile, Sofia and Jason shook their heads at Brittany before heading towards the back without her.

Zack: Congratulations to the makeshift team of Robbyn and Caitlyn, and you can tell it hasn’t changed Storm’s mind about getting her rematch, which has been set for Vendetta on April 5th. Look at this, Sofia and her boyfriend…are just leaving Brittany.

Robbyn noticed Caitlyn eyeing her title as the music played before Atomic cut to a commercial break.

All The Potential

The show cuts to the stage, where we find Amber Carano standing and facing the crowd in the arena.

Amber: Hello, Toronto!!

Cheap pop.

Amber: Please join me in welcoming my guests at this time. One was the previous Phoenix Champion for well over two years, the other a former Evolution, Phoenix and Future Shock Champion! Please welcome MARA WERTH and HARLEY SHANNON!

Mara stepped out from behind the curtain first, waving to the crowd with a grin, followed by the now brunette Harley Shannon who also took a couple of moments to wave to the crowd before joining Amber. The former jailbird was still playing to the crowd.

Harley: Hey Toronto!!

Again the cheap pop, the former flame haired wrestler letting it quiet down a little bit before she continued.

Harley: It’s always a pleasure to be here. Hi Amber. I’m sure Mara will join us in just a moment when she’s finished showing her appreciation to these fine people.

Amber: Welcome to the first episode of Atomic here on Prime Video, and you are hearing the excitement of 41,032 fans here in Rogers Centre, ladies.

Cue another pop, which makes Amber grin.

Amber: This is fun, and I appreciate you both taking the time to talk with me. I have three things I want to cover, so let me start with Mara.

She turns her attention to the ex-convict.

Amber: We all saw the match you had at Sabotage against Robbyn Helmsley challenging for the Evolution Championship. Some have said it was the hardest hitting match on the card in terms of you both letting it all hang out, so to speak. Am I correct in assuming that the result hasn’t deterred you from wanting a rematch with whoever has the Evolution Championship? We do know Caitlyn’s rematch is next.

The Alabama native nodded her head.

Mara: You’re dead on the money Amber. I’m not expecting to jump the line or anything, but I’ve made it very clear that as far as I’m concerned my pursuit of the Evolution Championship is far from over. I’m not deterred by losing to Robbyn - she had a fantastic return last year, was a nominee for Femme Fatale of the Year - so I think the match against her at Sabotage, the one before that against Caitlyn has shown I can hold my own in the Evolution Division and I’m on a learning curve. I’ll do whatever it takes to earn myself another shot at the title, whatever Adam thinks I have to do and I’ll be ready to step up whether it’s Caitlyn who has the title belt at the time or if it’s a rematch with Robbyn.

Amber: There’s also the consideration you made Caitlyn submit in a match on your road to facing Robbyn at Sabotage. So I have to assume that carries some weight, it’s just that she’s owed a rematch and has decided she wants to use it. But for tonight’s purposes, I scheduled this time because I want to talk about your first in-ring appearance here on Atomic in two weeks in tag team action against two women neither of you have ever faced.

Mara: Like I said, happy to see Caitlyn get her shot, so long as they both know I’m waiting in the wings and wanting to earn my chance. But yeah, two weeks time, Harley and I teaming up again.

Harley: Our Atomic debut and it’s sounding exciting. Two women we’ve never faced before…and given as a team we’ve mostly spent our time against some combination of Stacey Sky, Valerie McKinley and Elizabeth Lannister, Midnight Storm, the Gemstones and that odd couple of Sofia Hilton and Cait Flanagan. Maybe a good performance in two weeks and we can think about the Prophecy. Though obviously, I don’t wanna hold Mara back if she can get in Evolution contention in the near future.

Amber: These opponents couldn’t know each other any better, and have been attached for…well, decades at this point. You’ll be meeting half of the Dynasty…the half not on tonight’s card meaning Emily and Jennifer Williams. Not often we have a mother-daughter tag team, is it?

Harley: N–o…No. I think the only other one I can think of was in one of the tag team seasons of Future Shock. Generation XX? Or was one just old enough to be the others mother? Either way, doesn’t matter. We know Jennifer Williams is a former Television Champion and trios Champion and has plenty of tag team experience from having teamed up with Crystal, fighting both Rori and Maddi and the team of Kelly and Scarlett.

Mara: Yeah, there’s a lot of experience from Jennifer there. A lot we’ve got to consider. Emily, meanwhile, is something of a dark horse. There’s not as much to go on for her, though I’m sure she’ll work well with her mom. Possibly. Unless she decided the last thing in the world she wanted was her mother involved in her training and being a helicopter parent, wanting to forge her own path and that sort of thing. Either way, we’ll be ready in two weeks because you’ve got Harley one of the most talented wrestlers in the world today and you’ve got me who can stand toe to toe with the strongest in this company and, if you don’t mind me tooting my own trumpet a little more, pretty gosh darn flexible too which can be a real help in this business.

Amber: That brings up the last point I wanted to make, which is the timing. Also on that show, we know that Prophecy will be defending the Undisputed Tag Titles against Violence Inc. So the only other tag match on the show is yours, so this may be the starting block for you both to potentially become tag champions in the future. Where do you both stand on Prophecy and their …I’d call it meteoric rise in 2024?

Mara: It was quite a rise…but then they did only lose one tag match and that was their first, I think? To Sydney and Clover. Maddison Knight beat Savannah Star and Rori certainly didn’t have any fear when it came to Scarlett Kincaid and caused her problems. So maybe it’s not that big a shock they managed to beat Latina Heat?

Harley: Plus law of averages, right? Latina Heat had to lose at some point and it kinda makes sense that it would be against a team who knows all the same tricks as them and with a referee that has been on the receiving end of some of the Heat’s antics. And if they can have a meteoric rise in 2024, there’s nothing to say we couldn’t do the same in 2025.

Mara: Unless I win the Evolution Championship.

Amber: Of course! Thank you both for talking with me tonight, and we’ll see you in Vancouver in two weeks on the next Atomic.

Then the show takes a commercial break.

The show returns from the break to the ring with a buzz going through the crowd as we see Kat once again standing in the center ready to begin the introductions.

Kat: The following contest is scheduled for one fall to a finish.

Zack: I cannot tell you how much I’ve been looking forward to this match since it was announced tonight for our debut edition of Atomic. There is nothing but bad blood going on between the members of Prophecy and the Kincaid sisters.

The arena dims down to a darkened state as the entrance fills with smoke and red lights start to move around the stage.  Random photos of Rori Mackenzie start to flash on the tron, short clips of the blonde at a shooting gallery with different guns only to be interrupted by stills of the wrestler from her first run in FFW wrestling different opponents from the past. The photos and clips start to speed up

I'm the leader of the black sheep (ooh)
Sometimes I think that the devil is inside me (ooh)
Dirty razor, I'm the bad seed (ooh)
I love to howl at the moon when it's rising (ooh)

The lights stop roaming and land center stage, as the photos on the tron stop moving as the words Prophet’s Playtoy is spelled out.
Both Maddison and Rori appear from the smoke, Rori in her ring gear, a pair of black tight leather pants and a Prophecy T cut up to be more form fitting tied around her neck and back. The blonde’s hair is up in a French braid, as she looks ready for a fight. Maddi in a white leather jacket and black pants with knee high boots on. Rori is steps ahead of her tag partner, much to the dismay of the crowd, and Rori stands with a cocky smirk, as she fixes her braid while Maddison looks like she’s ready for war, as both girls begin to move towards the ring.

Got TNT in my bones
Every breath on the edge of going psycho
They say that I'm a fallen angel
They might be right, 'cause I feel holy when I raise hell
I was born this way, nothing's gonna change that
I don't care what they say, gonna light that match
When the chaos starts, you know I live for that

Smoke and trouble, I'm crazy on another level

Kat : Making her way to the ring, being accompanied by The Knightmare Maddison Knight.... By way of Hell Michigan... She is one half of the FFW Undisputed Tag Team Champions….THE PROPHET’S PLAYTOY!!! RORI MACKENZIE!

The girls make their way to the ring steps and Rori is the first to walk up them as Maddison springs up onto the ring apron grabbing the middle rope, as the girls from Prophecy look out into the crowd with wicked smiles on their faces.

No rest for the wicked, my heart's racing (ooh)
Guess I'm built different, love me, hate me (ooh)
No rest for the wicked, my heart's racing (ooh)
Guess I'm built different, love me, hate me (ooh)

Maddison holds the ropes open for her best friend as Rori steps through them, before Maddison jumps over the top rope looking around the ring and staring daggers at the referee, before turning to one another. Maddison covers her mouth as she talks to Rori who nods at her friend.

Crazy on another level, another level
(Oh, oh) another level (oh-oh-oh) yeah
(Oh, oh) another level (oh-oh-oh)
I'm crazy on another level (ooh, ooh)
Crazy on another level

Rori and Maddi embrace in a hug before Maddi exits the ring but stands her ground on the outside of the ring.

Zack: Judging by what I’ve seen on social media, Rori has been looking forward to this match as much as anyone. She’s never been in the ring with her opponent tonight, but she’s certainly teed off with Kelly in recent history. Tonight marks their first official meeting one on one.

The arena falls dark as the opening of “Blonde, Bad and Beautiful” by Airbourne plays, Kelly explodes upward out of the middle of the stage as though shot out of a cannon, landing a perfect front somersault in a shower of blue sparks. The girl is joined by Christian Kincaid on the stage. Turning to face her husband, she turns to face him, giving him a big hug as she plants a kiss to his lips. As the music starts to pick up pace once more she starts to run toward the ring, performing a quick cartwheel into a handspring before sliding into the ring underneath the bottom rope. Using the momentum to her advantage, the former acrobat forward rolls to her feet and leaps onto the middle rope. She springboards off the ropes into a backflip and heads towards the corner. The former acrobat runs straight up the pads. Stopping on the top turnbuckle she blows a kiss to the fans and corkscrew flips back to the mat, facing the middle of the ring as she lands.

Kat: From Coney Island, Brooklyn, New York, 5’5” tall, weighs 120 lbs and is accompanied to the ring by Christian Kincaid. Please welcome...KELLY KINCAID!!!

Zack: We haven’t seen Kelly in the ring since Unstoppable 15 late last September, and this is the first time she’s been competing on a show that wasn’t a Pay Per View in a lot longer than that. She’s dealt with women who are unhinged before, as we know when she was defending the FFW Championship against the now-suspended Raven Knight.

Referee Colby Morrison calls for the bell to start the match. And as Kelly is looking down to Christian as he’s telling her something, Rori takes off across the ring towards her. He points it out as Kelly turns and meets her with a double leg takedown to the canvas before the two blondes start throwing right hands at each other’s heads with the crowd loudly supporting the former FFW Champion. Kelly starts getting the better of the exchange though until Rori jams a thumb in her eye and shoves her away to get back to her feet.

Zack: Rori wanted to get a jump on the proceedings, and that didn’t quite pan out until she went for the eyes. But Kelly’s already getting back to her feet!

Kincaid was back to a vertical base, holding one hand against her eye before Rori went to grab her. But the Hall of Famer caught her coming forward with a discus elbow to the jaw that sent her backwards a step. A second landed after that before Kelly whipped her across for the ride. She followed behind Rori as she rebounded off the ropes into a clothesline that sent them both over the top rope to the floor.

Zack: I hope no one watching came looking for a catch wrestling classic, because this has been nothing but a flat out brawl since the bell rang. And now they’re out here ringside.

Kelly got back to her feet as her husband encouraged her to get the match back in the ring immediately. She pulled Rori up by the head to do that very thing before Mackenzie caught her with an elbow uppercut to the chin that staggered the Hall of Famer. A double rake of the eyes followed that before Rori scooped her up, and rammed Kelly’s back against the barricade. A short Irish whip then sent her back into the apron before Mackenzie used a spinning backfist to knock her to the floor, causing a wide grin on her face.

Zack: Look at that expression. Rori looks like she’s having the time of her life, not as though she’s in a brawl with the longest reigning FFW Champion in company history!

She pulls Kelly up with two handfuls of hair before driving her face onto the apron as Morrison  shouts at her to get the match back in the ring. So Rori rolls in and back out to break the count before she hooks Kelly’s head and takes off with a bulldog to the floor. Maddison watches on with pride with her tag title over her shoulder, clapping for Rori as she starts to pull up the mat around ringside.

Zack: There you see Rori’s tag partner and fellow tag champion here. She’s been remarkably reserved tonight, considering how things tend to go when one half of Prophecy is in a match.

She hooks Kincaid’s head into position before trying to deliver a suplex onto the exposed floor. But Kelly blocks the attempt, and tries to shove her off. Rori retaliates with a kneelift, and hooks her head again to deliver that suplex onto the exposed flooring. She sits up with that same grin on her face as Kelly’s hand clutches her back. She pulls up the apron looking for something, but not finding it when she sees Kelly beginning to get up again.

Zack: I don’t know what the hell she’s looking for, but this isn’t a No DQ match at all. She’s really testing Colby’s limits here.

Rori grabs Kelly’s head again, this time looking for a DDT. But the former FFW Champion blocks it, countering into a Northern Lights suplex that sends Rori to the floor instead. She stumbles away, still favoring her back as Christian moves around within earshot giving her guidance. Kincaid doubles back, pulling Rori up and tossing her back into the ring before sliding in after her while Colby was up to 8 on his count.

Zack: No doubt in my mind CK was encouraging Kelly to get this back in the ring. There’s way too many ways for things to go south out here as the exposed floor shows us.

Kelly dragged Rori back to her feet, and whipped her into the far corner. She followed in after her with a handspring back elbow to the jaw, snapping Mackenzie’s head back before she climbed the corner. The fans counted off ten unanswered right hands to the head before Kelly stepped up onto the top rope and brought her out of the corner with a hurricanrana. Kincaid hopped onto the second turnbuckle, waiting and watching for her opponent to get up before she dove off with a flying clothesline.

Zack: If Rori wants to up the violence factor, Kelly is only too happy to oblige her. I had a feeling this match was gonna be a melee from the bell, and that’s precisely how it’s been.

Kincaid scooped her upside down into a tree of woe in the corner, and began to fire kicks into her abdomen one after another. A half dozen spinning heel kicks to the body landed in quick succession followed by the Hall of Famer climbing the ropes for a wrecking ball dropkick into Rori’s ribs. The impact shook her loose before she collapsed to the canvas holding her abdomen. The Toronto crowd was chanting loudly for Kelly as she took off for the far side, rebounding into a double stomp to Mackenzie’s body that curled her up on the canvas.

Zack: Kelly’s going to work on those ribs, and that’s a pretty wise strategy. Just breathing can make bad ribs hurt, and all this offense is targeting Rori’s core.

The former FFW Champion pulled her back to her feet, delivering a short knee to her ribs before she whipped her across for the ride. Mackenzie was scooped up on the rebound into a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker before Kelly went for the cover with the far leg hooked. Colby dropped down to make the count.

Zack: Kelly is deadly effective with her offense, and we may be about three seconds from getting the Atomic title match on deck!

ONE!!!

TW-NO!

Rori got her shoulder off the mat as the two count was about to land, and Kelly rained elbows into her body. She dragged her back to her feet, and scooped her into a gutbuster across her knee. She headed back to the corner again to make her way up top. She glanced over to see Maddison rounding the corner and getting too close for comfort before she dove off with a missile dropkick to the brunette that sent her to the floor and her title along with her. That got a big pop from the crowd as Kelly got back to her feet, only to turn into a baseball slide from Rori that sent her backwards to the floor, courtesy of Mackenzie. Rori clutched her ribs as she glanced down to Maddison and then to Kelly before going towards her opponent.

Zack: Kelly went on the offensive before Maddison had a chance to do anything, but that also gave Rori the space she needed to try to flip the tables back in her favor.

Rori stomped the blonde’s face as she was trying to sit up before scooping her into a snake eyes on the apron. She clutched her ribs in pain for a second as Kelly was dazed, and spun her around into a flatliner on the floor. The boos in the Rogers Centre got loud as Rori sat up, one arm against her ribs for a moment before she tossed Kelly back inside and slid in after her. Maddison was also up by this point, and collected her title that was knocked to the floor, not looking the least bit happy now.

Zack: Kelly taking the fight to both halves of Prophecy, but something tells me that’s only gonna activate Knight out here sooner than later.

Mackenzie headed to one corner, and began to unfasten the turnbuckle pad before tossing it to the floor. She glanced back over her shoulder at Kelly, who was starting to get up. Mackenzie grabbed her by the head, and was about to drive her into the exposed corner until Colby blocked her path. Rori shouted at him to get out of the way, but the big man refused. As this argument went on, Kelly countered with a sidewalk slam that put them both on the mat.

Zack: Good for Colby. He wasn’t gonna let Rori use that exposed corner on his watch, there’s three other corners she can use instead if she wants. Well…maybe not now.

Colby went to the floor to retrieve the turnbuckle pad as Kelly was getting back to her feet in the ring. When she reached down to grab Rori to pull her up, the tag champion used a low blow that dropped her to her knees. At this point, Colby had his back to the ring as he was reattaching the turnbuckle. When he turned around, he saw Rori connect with a shining wizard to the back of Kelly’s head before she dropped down to make the cover.

Zack: Hard shots from stem to stern, and all Colby saw was that shining wizard! A huge upset coming in three seconds possibly!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOO!!

THRE-NOO!!!

But the former FFW Champion got her shoulder off the mat in time. Rori barked at Colby to count faster as she got back to her feet, still favoring her ribs as she headed towards the nearest corner to make her way up top. Rori showed great agility as she launched off the top rope into a senton that landed flush across Kelly’s body. But the impact hurt her too as she gritted her teeth when she sat up, one arm pressed to her ribs before she took it out on Kelly by ripping hairs out of her head and tossing them into the air.

Zack: She’s literally tearing her hair out by the roots. Winning is only a by-product for Rori as long as she can scar this woman well beyond tonight’s match.

The Toronto fans were getting louder behind Kelly, to which Rori ignored them. She watched as the former FFW Champion began to get to her feet, and then pulled her into a double knee facebreaker. She rolled Kincaid over for the cover as Colby was quickly into position to make the count.

Zack: That’s one of her favorites, she calls it SEEING STARS!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOO!!!

THRE-NOO!!

Kelly got her shoulder up again, and Rori’s eyes seemed to flash before she started biting her face in irritation. Colby counted her down to let go before she finally got back to her feet, and the camera saw the bite marks on Kincaid’s forehead. Mackenzie leaned against the ropes as Maddison was telling her to “put the bitch away”, to which her tag partner nodded in agreement. She watched as Kelly began to get to all fours before she bolted off the ropes, looking for her curb stomp. But Kelly rolled out of the way to all fours, causing Rori to charge again and try it a second time. Kincaid avoided that one too, popping up behind Rori before she could turn around and get pulled into a reverse DDT

Zack: Rori wanted to put her face through the mat twice, but Kelly did her homework and avoided it. One of these two needs to hit something big here, and I think it’ll be over!

With the fans chanting her name, Kelly started to stir on the canvas before she pulled Rori into a triangle choke submission. Colby immediately moved into position to check for a sign to stop the match, but Rori showed none so far. Mackenzie used her free hand to try to find the ropes, but she was close to the center of the ring. She fired shots into one of Kelly’s legs to get her to break the hold, but that didn’t work either as her movements began to slow and falter.

Zack: Excellent ring positioning by Kelly here, and I don’t think it’s going to be long before Rori is having a short nap.

Maddison hopped up onto the apron next, and looked as though she were about to enter the ring. Kelly spotted her, and immediately broke the hold and went to knock her off the apron. Colby tried to separate them, all the while with Rori getting her bearings. The big man began to wedge himself between the two women as Maddison blasted her with the Undisputed Tag Title to the head as Colby was leaning down trying to separate them. The Hall of Famer fell backwards to the mat before Rori dove on top of her for the cover.

Zack: I knew it was only a matter of time!

But instead of counting as Rori demanded, Colby called for the bell. He pointed towards Maddison, telling her she just got her tag partner disqualified.

Kat: Your winner by disqualification…..KELLY KINCAID!!

Maddison and Rori both argued with the big man as Christian pulled his wife out to the apron with him to check on her. As the tag champions ultimately headed for the back, the camera picked up Kelly’s angry expression as she told her husband she wanted those tag titles now. Then the show went to a commercial for Vendetta on April 5th.

A Little Backup

The Atomic crowd was going completely bonkers. Backstage we are able to see a blonde wearing a pair of glasses along with wearing that of a Retro Team Adonis shirt. She smiles as she holds a microphone tightly in her hands and looks into the heart of the cameras. Her smile lights up the entire room and she runs her hands through her hair as she begins to speak.

Felicia: Wow, it’s always awesome to hear the warming cheers from the crowd, and to be honest I know it has been a long time since I actually stood in front of an FFW camera in a journalist type of role. It’s been ten years exactly going back to the days of Neveah Summers bullying me on camera but that’s not that important. The real reason why I am here with the microphone is because I have a few things to promote!

Before she could say anything else she is immediately joined by that of her pink haired best friend and tag team partner Dawn Warren. She skips next to Felicia with a wide grin on her lips.

Dawn: Whatcha doing you big goof ball?! I know you weren’t going to do something without me?!

Felicia: Actually I wanted to promote something and a brand new journalistic show for the world of FFW. For those of you who might have been around or remember something called the Power X by Daniel Pollaski I plan to use my journalism and broadcasting degree, and put it to good use by introducing a brand new show called Hot Off The Press featuring yours truly. It will be used to review prior shows, hype up new shows, and to see who’s hot and who’s not in wrestling.

Dawn: Who's hot?! This is not a dating service!

Felicia: I meant who is doing well in the ring and who could use a boost! Anyway expect a rumor mill, expect fun stuff because it will be amazing.

Dawn smiles wide.

Dawn: And you can expect me, because she’s not doing it alone… Let me guess Blayke Pawk is going to be the one behind the camera?!

Felicia: I didn’t think about that but she is my best friend and…

Dawn growls and Felicia giggles.

Felicia: Anyway that’s not my ONLY announcement. I just wanted to also say that the California fires weren’t too good to me. They took out my Santa Monica living space. I was left without a home until I made a phone call and moved back to my hometown of Long Island, New York to crash with the woman who will be my official FFW manager going forward.

Dawn: Manager?!

Felicia: Yeah, I was tired of always getting jumped in matches and not to mention always people jumping the both of us. Here’s someone who will watch my back. Who knows a thing or two about the ring and I know is a future Hall of Famer. Here’s my favorite sister Casey Atherton! How’s it feel to be here tonight, I trust being in ring retired is treating you good?!

The former Unity tag team, Future Shock, Trios and Evolution Champion stepped into shot.

Casey: I mean, c’mon Dawn, why did you think I was standing like three feet away, just out of camera shot listening in? Felicia’s not that interesting. And yeah, favourite sister…only sister…we’ll not quibble too much about the details shall we? It’s good being here for the first ever Atomic, I guess this is another piece of history I can add to a sparkling career of Future Shock titles, undefeated Bikini Jousts, saving humanity and holding the most sought after titles in this company's history.

Felicia smiles warmly, raising the microphone up.

Felicia: And you have a new bigger job, one I hope you think you can accomplish. Lead your favourite sister to success and championships. Do you think you have what it takes or are you just going to let Felicia Atherton eat you out of a house and home, and find out about your secret stash of skittles that you keep in the cupboard behind the disgusting cereal?

Dawn: Wait why are you talking about yourself in the third, and secondly where’s Fiona. Wasn’t she supposed to be our weather girl and…

Felicia: Shhh I am interviewing an Atherton right now, just follow the lead reporter and how she gets the scoop.

Casey rolled her eyes.

Casey: Fiona is as much of a weather girl as the one at the end of the original Mean Girls. As for leading you to success and championships…we’ll see. There’s only so much you can do if the raw materials aren’t there. But at least you’ll never be less than the second best member of our family to wrestle in FFW. That’s something that you can say and be very, very proud of.

Felicia: See, Felicia will be at least the second best Atherton in wrestling so that’s always a plus. So Felicia’s future is meant to be bright…

Dawn: Why am I teaming with an idiot?! I am happy that I am the smartest out of my siblings. I still can’t believe that Samantha Star really paid for my partner’s full tuition to go to private USC and I had to work hard to get my scholarship for UCLA… Whatever, shout out to Los Angeles and California. We take you elsewhere, and away from the Athertons who will make you lose brain cells.

Felicia smirks as she blows kisses to the camera as we go elsewhere.

The Knockout Artist

A clip package shows the history of “TKO” Claire Black from her in-ring career as part of the FFW roster a few years ago as well as her stint in Future Shock before that. Then we go back to the live show, finding Allison Marx on the stage.

Allison: In two weeks right here on Atomic when we visit Vancouver, British Columbia for the next show, a woman who has been calling the action for a long time is getting back into the ring to do it herself. Please join me in welcoming back to the ring and the FFW roster one half of KO/TO and the first ever Pride Champion from SVW…CLAIRE BLACK!

Claire walked out on stage and towards Allison.

Claire: Good evening Toronto!!

The former commentator let the cheap pop pass.

Claire: Hi Allison. It’s been a long, long time since I’ve been in a ring and competing. Three years of training, teaching and commentating and honestly, there’s been a growing part of me that wasn’t sure I’d necessarily get this chance again after spending all that time behind the desk. The hunger never left though and I’m very excited for Atomic in two weeks. Hopefully it’ll be the first step to getting my second ever singles title around my waist.

Allison: It’s funny you mention that because I did have a chat with the CEO about trajectories earlier tonight when I saw your name on the next card. I’ll get into that in a moment, but first, let’s cover your opponent. Like you, she too has had an extended absence from the ring but launched her own aspiring comeback in 2023 and ended up finding herself on the wrong side of Rebecka Hate. You’ll be meeting Laura Steele in Vancouver on the second Atomic.

Claire: I think it’s pretty safe to say that unlike Laura, I’m not gonna end up getting on the bad side of my tag partner. It’ll be interesting to say the least, to meet Laura in the ring. Before her hiatus she was all sterling silver tea sets and cattle prods, so that is certainly something that might be looking out for given one of the last times we saw her she seemed to be sympathetic towards Sofia Hilton. Perhaps there’s been a change of wind since then. Perhaps she’ll be trying to be a good girl again. I guess I’ll find out in Vancouver in two weeks time.

Allison: There may be more than meets the eye though, given what I discussed with Adam. As you no doubt saw at Sabotage, we crowned a new Phoenix Champion. In my discussion with the CEO today, he mentioned that he was looking for new contenders to challenge Scarlett Silver, a woman you’ve faced in the past successfully. So this match could be more of a proving ground for both you and Laura to make your case to be in consideration for that. What do you think?

There was a nod of the brunette’s head.

Claire: Scarlett and I have traded wins and we stand at one apiece right now. It’d be nice to have a rubber match with her and with a title on the line too. And it’s certainly a huge motivation for me to overcome Laura in two weeks time; to knock her out and leave her laying on the mat with stars or tweety birds…or I don’t know, do the English get something more culturally appropriate floating round their heads when they get knocked on their ass? Yorkshire puddings maybe? Either way, I’ll be looking to hit the ground running and show there’s still an awful lot of fight left in me yet.

Allison: As he explained it to me, the only other woman right now in direct contention in his mind was Valerie McKinley. She wasn’t pinned or submitted in the triple threat Scarlett won to claim the vacant Phoenix title. So that leads me to believe either you or Laura may be meeting the One Percenter after this match to see about facing Miss Silver in her first defense.

Claire: That’s good with me. I’ve been in a match with Valerie before - albeit a tag team match way back when Velocity was still up and running…so yeah, it’s been a while there. If that’s what Adam has in mind, that’s great with me. But I’m not about to get ahead of myself. It’s been three years since I’ve competed in an FFW ring, I’ve got ring rust to knock off and Laura Steele to put down for the three count first before I even start to think of facing the One Percenter or dream of holding that Phoenix Championship.

Allison: Good luck on your big return match in two weeks, and especially in your quest to find yourself in the ring with the Phoenix Championship on the line, Claire.

Allison shakes hands with the boxer as Atomic takes a commercial break.

The show returns from the commercial break back to the ring, and that’s where we find Kat Grayson one last time for the night.

Kat: The following contest is your main event scheduled for one fall to a finish, and it is for the FFW Atomic Championship!

Zack: Fans, that was our last commercial break tonight on our debut here on Prime Video for Atomic. Now we’re gonna crown the first ever FFW Atomic Champion, just like Kat said. Your classic power versus speed battle. I’ve been joined by Kyle Kilmeade for some reason. Kinda surprised you’re here. You don’t really have an iron in this fire, do you?

Kyle: What? You think because Elizabeth isn’t in this final that she’s just going to give up and go home to start a knitting circle? I am very interested in who wins this, just like she is. Don’t worry, you will have Gaby back for the next show, I’m sure.

Zack: This is the woman who got past your client earlier tonight, and Ruby has to be a dark horse pick by some estimations, I’m sure. But here she is, obviously not at 100% after having had a match about a hour ago.

Kyle: She’s definitely still feeling the effects of facing the “Lioness” earlier tonight, and depending on how this goes, that won’t be the only time she sees her in the ring in the future.

Zack: Clover got past a very game Mikayla earlier tonight to put herself right here in this historic match. We found out that this is going to be a title that sees defenses every month, and I know for a fact Clover would welcome that if she leaves tonight with the new Atomic title.

Referee Jennifer Stringer called for the bell to start the match before the two blondes met in the center of the ring with Diamond showing her support for Ruby. The pair locked up quickly, and it was Clover who showed the early power advantage as she easily muscled the musician backwards. She pushed Steele into the corner and broke when the referee asked, but when she went to deliver a blow, Ruby ducked out of the way and ended up behind her with a lungblower to bring her down to the mat. The musician dove on top of Clover as she was starting to get to all fours, and began delivering forearms to the back of her head to keep her down.

Zack: Ruby’s quickness is definitely going to be her best asset here, and she definitely wants to avoid any shot Clover wants to give if she possibly can.

Kyle: That’s why Clover should have caught her with a short knee before she raised her hands for the break. Sometimes adhering to the rules like that can work against you, not that Ruby did anything illegal.

The shots weren’t having a whole lot of effect at the moment though as Thomas got back to her feet with Ruby now riding piggyback and still raining blows across her chest. That’s when the powerhouse turned and ran backwards, sandwiching Ruby between her and the corner. The musician slumped against the corner before Clover began throwing elbows with both arms, trapping her there as she delivered a barrage of elbows before using a beal to send her out to the canvas.

Zack: That’s like getting caught with a kodiak bear, because Ruby had no other option but to soak all those elbows.

Kyle: She came in with the wrong strategy for this match, Zack. Ruby needs to get her down, and hopping on her back after one good shot isn’t going to keep her down all that long.

Clover whipped her across to the far corner, and followed behind her with a corner clothesline that crushed her against the turnbuckles. It only got worse from there when she scooped her up with ease into a military press slam that sent her hurtling to the canvas. Thomas glanced over to the Atomic Championship on the table in front of Zack and Kyle with a nod before she turned her attention back to Ruby. The musician was starting to get back to her feet, but Clover put a stop to that with a running kneelift to the body followed by a gutwrench suplex into a pin. Stringer slid into position quickly for the count.

Zack: Ruby getting the trash bag treatment from Clover, and history may be 3 seconds away from being made here in Toronto!!

ONE!!!

TWOOO!!

But Steele kicked out in time, as Diamond was busily shouting at her best friend to try to get her up quickly. Clover pulled Ruby up by the arm, and whipped her into the far side ropes. She caught her on the rebound with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker.

Kyle: If something doesn’t change here within the next minute or so, Clover’s going to be the next Atomic Champion. Ruby is getting battered.

Ruby rolled away slowly to get to the ropes to pull herself up. It wasn’t until Clover went to grab her from behind that the musician surprised her by grabbing her head and pulling her into a stunner that dropped the powerhouse where she stood. Diamond looked elated as Ruby slumped forward, trying to collect herself quickly as Clover was face up on the mat. Steele made it to her feet, glancing behind her as she saw Clover was down before hopping onto the middle rope for a springboard elbow drop to the chest.

Zack: That had to be pure instinct from Ruby, but that stunner damn sure put Clover into the next area code. She’s gotta make hay while the sun’s shining here!

Kyle: Instinct is right. It gave her a new lease on life in this match too, because until then, she was getting her clock cleaned.

Steele got back to her feet as Clover was starting to get up as well. The powerhouse had barely gotten to all fours before Ruby bounced off the near side with a running neckbreaker to take her down to the mat. She darted towards the corner, making her way up top as Thomas was starting to get up again. But that only lasted long enough for Steele to come off with a blockbuster from the top rope before going for the cover!

Zack: A blockbuster from the high rent district! Ruby’s gonna shock the world!

ONE!!

TWOOOOOO!!!

THR-NO!

But Clover still got her shoulder up in time, causing Diamond to encourage Ruby to move quickly. She did just that as she popped back to her feet, still favoring her back for a second before hitting the ropes again. Thomas had barely gotten to her feet, and turned around when she caught Steele rebounding off the ropes with a handspring back elbow to the jaw.

Kyle: Now she’s got the right mindset, she’s got Clover disoriented and wobbly. She needs to put her away as soon as she can.

With the powerhouse staggering backwards, Ruby darted past her and bounced off the ropes again. She left her feet with a vertical leap followed by a dragonrana that spiked Thomas head first into the canvas! She immediately went for the cover with the far leg hooked as Stringer dropped to make the count.

Zack: Where did that come from?! Ruby spiked her like a hammer to a nail, and she’s gonna do it right here!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOO!!!

THREEE-NO!!

The blonde powerhouse kicked out again, and Ruby quickly got back to her feet. She showed a sense of urgency as she pulled Clover into position for her favorite finisher, but the gym rat countered out of it with a Northern Lights suplex before rolling to the ropes.

Kyle: Ruby needs to really update her arsenal. How many times in one night have her opponents known the setup for that DDT of hers?

She was still fairly groggy as she got to her feet, thanks to all the offense she had already absorbed. When she spotted Ruby beginning to rise, a running boot to the jaw put her down again. Clover hoisted her onto her shoulder and took off for the far corner. A snake eyes landed for her, sending Steele staggering backwards before a spinning backfist floored her to the mat. Thomas dropped into position for the cover as Stringer moved to make the count.

Zack: That backfist damn sure loosened some molars on Ruby, and Clover is three seconds from being the first ever Atomic Champion!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOO!!

THREEE-NO.

Steele got her shoulder up at the last possible second, causing Stringer to stop her count. Clover shook her head and got back to her feet. She let the crowd know what was next as she pulled Ruby back up, hoisting her high overhead for her gorilla press.

Kyle: Put it in the books, Zack. This is how she stopped Mikayla, and it’ll be how she stops Ruby too.

But the musician wiggled free, and landed on her feet behind the powerhouse. Clover turned to grab her, and caught a superkick to the jaw. It stumbled her backwards before she caught a second and a third that dropped her to her knees. That was when Ruby hooked her head for her DDT variant finisher, spiking Clover into the mat before she dove into the cover!

Zack: She got it that time! RUBY TUESDAY!! NEW CHAMPION!!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-WHAT?!

Clover got her shoulder off the mat in the nick of time, causing Ruby to sit up on her knees and press her hands to her head in disbelief.

Kyle: What the… She got her shoulder up! I thought that was it… Don’t fucking stare at the crowd, get back on her!

Ruby slowly got to her feet as Diamond looked pretty astonished at ringside. Clover began to stir before Steele grabbed her head…and delivered a second of her specialized DDTs. She dropped back on top of her for the cover as Stringer fell into position!

Zack: Two RUBY TUESDAYS!! That’s gotta be all! What the hell else can she do if it’s not?!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Stringer called for the bell as Ruby sat up on her knees with her mouth agape! Diamond bolted into the ring, and embraced her best friend and helped her to her feet as the music started once again.

Kyle: I….I don’t…she did it.

Kat: Your winner of the match by pinfall….AND NEEEEEEEEEEWW FFW Atomic Champion…..RUBY STEELE!!!

Kat handed the title to the referee who raised Ruby’s hand before offering it to her. She looked at it in disbelief before clutching it to her body. Steele dropped to her knees hugging it as she got a fairly loud response from the fans in Toronto.

Zack: If you didn’t believe Ruby Steele could do it, that’s fine because she believed she could! And now, that woman right there is the first ever FFW Atomic Champion! Well done, Ruby!

Kyle: Took two of those DDTs of hers to get the job done just to keep Clover down. Ruby just inherited a whole new world of problems, trust me.

Ruby hugged her bestie and headed to the corner, climbing to the middle rope and holding it high above her head as we see both Mikayla and Elizabeth now on the ramp watching. The witch was giving her her due with some applause as Elizabeth had a cold stare in her eyes.

Zack: What a night it’s been here on Prime Video! Thank you for joining us for the debut of FFW Atomic, now led by that woman as the first ever Atomic Champion! Congratulations, Ruby, and have a good night from Toronto! We’ll see you Tuesday for Future Shock!

Ruby beamed as she looked at her new title while the fans made plenty of noise. The first edition of Atomic faded off the air on Prime Video.
