FFW Future Shock - Episode 166

January 28, 2025, 11:50:54 am »
Location: Scotiabank SaddleDome in Calgary, Alberta, Canada
January 28, 2025
Official Theme:
The driving beats of “I Don’t Wanna Stop” by Ozzy Osbourne start playing as we see a subway train barreling through the tunnels underneath a city. That’s where we find a fan watching Future Shock on a tablet, zooming forward to show Missy’s recent performances at both the Fatale Royale and Unstoppable 15 before the tablet gets swatted out of the fan’s hand. He looks up to see Luna Cortez scowling as she storms toward the camera. Then we see Charlotte Harker’s reign as Anarchy Champion and her path of destruction.
I don't know what they're talkin' about
I'm makin' my own decisions
This thing that I found ain't gonna bring me down
I'm like a junkie without an addiction
In the next subway car, we find River Campbell and Latina Heat. The former tag champions are trying to talk her into something before clips of both their last year and River’s ascension to the Nova Championship are shown to the viewers. In the next car, Target Acquired are heading in their direction as they walk past Jamie Winters, who throws a deck of cards at the camera before she disappears.
All my life I've been over the top
I don't know what I'm doin'
All I know is I don't wanna stop
All fired up, I'm gonna go 'til I drop
You're either in or in the way
Don't make me, I don't wanna stop
In a car all to herself, Lacey is seen with her feet propped up and running her finger along the centerplate of the Pure Championship. She looks over her shoulder to see Kyle, bringing a smile to her face as we get a closer look at her highlights of the last year which culminated in her taking that title in December of 2024.
Too many religions but only one god
I don't need another savior
Don't try to change my mind
You know I'm one of a kind
Ain't gonna change my bad behavior
Clips of Phoenix Galloway and Tiffany Lynn Page are shown as well as Luci and Leona Vega before we cut to a desk with a picture of Jake Chandler on it. A hand swats the picture to the trash before we see the hand belongs to Carson, all the while someone is standing right over his shoulder before we go back to the subway car. It comes to a halt before the doors open as Siobhan bolts out, and we go live inside the arena. Fireworks erupt from the stage with two tunnels on either side of a large video wall. The camera pans the roaring crowd as Ozzy’s song continues playing before we go down to the broadcast booth with Zack and Valerie.
The camera spins around to show all of the raucous fans in the crowd before it finally settles on Zack and Valerie standing in front of the broadcast booth.
Zack: FFW’s tour of Canada rolls on for the final stop tonight in Calgary before the Future Shock girls head to Leeds, England, home of the Future Shock Champion, for the first time. We are live from the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta, Canada for the 166th edition of Future Shock on Prime, not to mention just 4 weeks away from Undeniable 2 in front of 70,000 plus fans in Foxborough, Massachusetts only on FFW All Access. I’m Zack Hudson, and this is none other than Valerie Gardner.
Valerie: Well hey there! Canada, as always, has been great fun! We’ve got a loooooot going on tonight, and every single part of it is something that I’m looking forward to for a whole bunch of different reasons.
Zack: We kicked off Global Wars on our last show, and it’s gonna keep rolling tonight with two matches taking place. That will include the women who faced each other last week will now have to work together against the other. Luci and Alyson Hyde look to add some points..or more in Alyson’s case…when they meet Domino and Madyson Morrison. I hope there aren’t any hard feelings from the last show, Valerie, or this could get messy in a hurry.
Valerie: It really, really could. Alyson does have an advantage that Luci is no slouch when it comes to tag wrestling, speaking from experience. The only issue those two face is…well, each other. In Madyson’s case it may well be a case of making sure Domino is on side, given what happened the last time Domino was in a tag match. That did not end the way anyone expected it to.
Zack: Also tonight after a heated confrontation between the two women vying for the Adrenaline Championship at Undeniable 2, we’ll see the challenger in that match against another champion tonight. Sapphire will go one on one with the reigning Diamond Champion Angela Hinchcliffe as the latter will begin England’s journey through Global Wars. We know historically that the Brits have been powerhouses in the series. Do you think that makes Angela a heavy favorite in both the match and the series?
Valerie: I mean this respectfully, but the English have been powerhouses in Global Wars. Scotland…eh, not so much! I want to say that it does, because stats are stats and they don’t lie. However given that Sapphire is on a mission to do anything in her power to make people notice her, that might be enough to tip her over.
Zack: The undefeated Tiffany Lynn Page is back in action on her own tonight, and she’ll probably be thrilled it’s not against Gina for the third time. She’ll meet a woman who hasn’t been as lucky on the winning side of things in Allison Sullivan. Who do you like here between Page and the ever-peppy, to say the least, cheerleader?
Valerie: Peppy is definitely one way to describe Allison. I reckon if she keeps her head on straight she’ll do pretty well, and again, stats don’t lie but when all three of your matches have involved the same damn person, it’s rather difficult to make an accurate gauge of Tiffany. But we do get to see her against someone new and that’s always a bonus.
Zack: Well there was the tag match that had Phoenix and Domino too.
Valerie: That’s why I said always involved! Gina was definitely present during that match!
Zack: The main event will see Calgary’s own Sydney Christensen in the latest round with an opponent she knows well: the #1 contender for the Future Shock Championship Charlotte Harker. Those two have beaten and battered each other every chance they got, and I suspect Sydney will have the fans behind her to the nth degree like Shaw did 2 weeks ago.
Valerie: If we don’t about blow the roof off an arena for the second time in as many shows, we’re not doing it right! As you said, there’s a lot of history between the two women so this match is absolutely gonna be something else.
Zack: Late breaking news as well as we have two new matches added to Undeniable 2 on February 25th at Gillette Stadium. Shaw will now go one on one against Lacey in front of 70,000 fans, which doesn’t come as too big of a shock after recent events. But Carson has been mum on whether Lacey’s Pure title will be on the line.
Valerie: Oh that’s gonna be great fun. Shaw always spoils for a fight and given recent events, you know she’ll be spoiling HARD for that one, title or not.
Zack: Also after our last show, a massive six woman tag match has been added to the card when Jamie Winters and Target Acquired meet Latina Heat and the reigning Nova Champion River Campbell. I already have massive sympathy for the referee in that one.
Valerie: Makes two of us! That match two weeks ago got chaotic right at the end, for good reason. So many tempers are gonna flare up and you know everyone’s gonna be wanting to get their hands on everyone else.
Zack: Let’s get this show on the road! Lexi, it’s all yours!
The show cuts to the ring with Lexi dressed very provocatively for such a cold climate, not that any in the crowd mind too much as she begins.
Lexi: HEY CALGARY!
Cheap pop.
Lexi: It’s time for FUTURE SHOCK…LET’S FUCKING GO!
Another pop.
Lexi: The opening contest of Future Shock is scheduled for one fall to a finish with a 20 minute time limit!
“Started to Make it Hot” by Iggy Azalea Ft Cardi B, Nicki Minaj, & Nicole Wray
begins to play throughout the arena to a chorus of boos. Tiffany casually makes her way through the curtains with a cocky smile on her face and her arms raised to her sides. As she walks down the aisle she taunts the audience. Tiffany gets to ringside and walks up the ringside stairs. She looks over at the referee and motions for the referee to open the ropes for her. Once the referee opens the ropes for her, Tiffany enters the ring and twirls in the center of the ring.
Lexi: Introducing from New York City… “Too Sexy” Tiffany Lynn Page!!!
Zack: With her current streak, I could see Tiffany here being in consideration for the Diamond Championship already. I know it’s against the same woman, but 3-0 is still 3-0. I happen to be familiar with all of the Page Sisters, and she’s certainly the most high on herself of them. Which covers a lot of ground between the five of them.
Valerie: I’ll take your word for that, they’re not a family I know too much about, though I do know a thing or two about having a lot of family in the same profession. There is absolutely an argument to put her into the conversation for the Diamond Championship, so let’s see how this goes.
“1 2 Step” by Ciara begins to blast all over the speakers, and that’s when Allison Sullivan along with her best friend Lizzie Showtime emerges from the back curtains carrying pom poms. Lizzie and Allie both full of energy look at one another before they wave their Pom Poms around excitedly.
Lexi: Introducing next from Hollywood Hills, California being accompanied to the ring by Lizzie Showtime she is “The New Age” Sensation Allison Sullivan!!!!!!!!
Allison sprints to the ring with her Pom Poms. She waves them freely as she runs down to the ring. On her way there she throws one pom pom to the left and the other to the right into the audience. She quickly slides inside the ring and makes it to her feet. It isn’t long before she dances around waving her spirit fingers proudly in the air. She twirls them about before she ends in a perfect split. The fans cheer in excitement as she rises up waiting for the match to begin. Meanwhile Elizabeth stands on the outside with her pom poms in hand. She smiles as she cheers on her best friend.
Zack: Here’s a fun fact. It was the comments made about this woman by Kyle Kilmeade last year that really set off Crystal to wanting to break his neck. Allison hasn’t collected as many W’s as Tiffany has, but a win over here might make up for that in the rankings.
Valerie: Yup. I remember being told about that one. Allison could do with the match going her way, just for the sake of her own momentum. Maybe if Lizzie cheers her on enough…
As soon as referee Melinda Davis calls for the bell, Tiffany begins trying to get under her opponent’s skin by playing as though she’s a cheerleader. She hops up and down on her feet, flailing her arms and shaking imaginary pom-poms until Allison decides to show her up by doing an actual routine with much more fluidity. But that was all that Tiffany was hoping for as she charged across the ring, and caught the brunette with a running boot to the chest as Sullivan was doing her routine. It sent her into the corner behind her before Page grabbed the top rope, and began stomping away at her body relentlessly. She drove her down to a seat against the corner before stepping on her neck until Davis got to a four count. Tiffany stepped off, continuing to mimic the cheerleader with a smirk on her face.
Zack: Allison can just make video tutorials if she wants to show people how it’s done, because that was all the opening that Page needed to get things going in her favor.
Valerie: Right? Even the most green of rookies should have seen what Tiffany was going for there…but not Allison apparently.
The blonde charged again with a running hip attack to the side of Allison’s head before she pulled her back to her feet. A flurry of forearms landed before the veteran scooped her into a slingshot suplex to the canvas. The confidence was oozing out of her at this point as she pushed Sullivan’s head with her foot, asking her if she wanted to show her another routine or not. A leg drop across the back of her head put the cheerleader face down on the mat.
Zack: Can you tell Tiffany is not short of confidence at all? I guess I can see it since she’s already 3-0, but like we discussed, this isn’t Gina. She also doesn’t have Phoenix out here like she did a couple of those times either.
Valerie: I’d be confident too if my opponent fell into the easiest trap ever laid out, being entirely honest.
Tiffany pulled her back to her feet by the arm, only to spin into her with a discus elbow. A hard whip sent her into the far corner before Page bolted after her. As soon as Allison hit the corner, the blonde scaled the middle rope with a disaster kick to put her face down on the mat before she rolled her over for the cover. Davis was in position immediately for the count.
Zack: Allison’s not even gonna get a shot in tonight! Page is 3 seconds away from making a huge statement!
ONE!!!
TW-NO!
The brunette got her shoulder off the mat before the three count happened, and Page rolled back to her feet. She started to incite the crowd by asking if this was the best Future Shock had to offer before pulling her opponent back to her feet.
Valerie: There’s confidence, and then there’s this. Almost feels like she doesn’t pay a whole lot of attention if it isn’t immediately about her.
She whipped her into the far corner next, and followed after her with a handspring back elbow ... .that missed and sent her crashing into the corner instead. Sullivan turned on a dime, and began unloading with furious right hands to the head. The fans in Calgary came to life again as she hooked Tiffany’s head, hopped up onto the second rope and drilled her with a tornado DDT to the canvas. She wasted no time hopping up onto the middle rope again, this time into a trust fall backwards onto her cocky opponent.
Zack: There we go! Allison’s bringing the offense now! You can only get beat up so long before it starts to get under your skin.
Valerie: Tiffany’s been getting under Allison’s skin the entire time, I’m more surprised it took Alisson this long to get her head in the game and get some offence in.
With the Calgary crowd behind her, she pulls Tiffany back to her feet. Three quick forearms land before she sends her across for the ride. Page rebounds into a pop-up before Allison catches her on the way down with a double knee facebreaker! The blonde bounces off the mat before Sullivan rolls her over for the cover!
Zack: When she gets fired up…good Lord! This may be over right now! I hope Sapphire and Angela are ready to go!
ONE!!
TWOOOO!!!
T-NO.
Page shot her shoulder off the mat in time, and Allison got back to her feet and started rallying the fans in Rogers Arena. She headed towards the nearest corner and made her way to the top rope. But by the time she got there, Tiffany was almost to her feet and shoved the referee into the ropes to cause Sullivan to straddle the top turnbuckle instead.
Valerie: When I tell you that hurts a woman just as much as it does a guy…believe me. Don’t find out the hard way. And for all that’s good, why are we now assaulting referees? That never ends well.
Davis got all over Tiffany’s case for what she’d done, but the blonde paid her no mind as she pulled herself together. She darted for the corner, leaving her feet for a jumping European uppercut that sent the brunette reeling on the top turnbuckle. It looked like she was going for a superplex, but Sullivan grabbed the top rope with one hand. The cheerleader followed that up with a headbutt to her face before she grabbed Page around the waist, and fell forward with a spinebuster that bounced the blonde’s body off the mat!
Zack: A spinebuster from the top rope, Valerie! Page wanted a superplex, Allsion with a response a lot of men hear: “Not tonight!”
Valerie: A drop like that will have taken a lot out of Allison as well. You don’t see spinebusters from the top too often for a reason. Ouch.
Both of them laid on the canvas for a moment as the referee had to begin her ten count. But the former cheerleader was up by the count of four. She pulled her opponent up with her, grabbing her head and taking off towards the ropes to connect with a springboard bulldog. She rolled Page over for the cover with the far leg hooked.
Zack: Page’s face is gonna resemble a Picasso painting at this rate, and Allison’s ready to hear the music!
ONE!!
TWOOOO!!
THR-NO!!
Tiffany still got her shoulder off the mat in time though. Sullivan rolled back to her feet with a determined look on her face before she planted her head. It looked like she was going for a piledriver but Page stood up and dumped her to the mat instead.
Valerie: Like Allison a moment ago, “not tonight” indeed!
She stumbled into the ropes, trying to get herself together. When she spotted Allison starting to get up, Tiffany lunged forward with her signature roundhouse kick that floored her to the canvas.
Zack: She calls that PRIMA DONNA, and I’ll give Page credit. She has taken a thumping, and keeps coming back for more.
Valerie: That connected flawlessly! We all know Page is gonna be looking to get this over with now.
She started kicking her in the ribs, shouting at her to get back to her feet. Allison was slow to do so as she rolled into the ropes, and used them to help her get back to a vertical base. As soon as she did, Tiffany went for her codebreaker finisher…but Sullivan held onto the top rope and let her crash to the canvas instead.
Zack: Inspiring timing by Allison! Page was looking for what she calls SEX IN THE CITY… so much for that! “Not tonight” is a theme here.
Valerie: It really is, and I’m perfectly good with that. Keeps things interesting. First though, Allison needs to get her bearings together just a little bit.
The brunette tried to get her second wind as she pulled Tiffany up to her feet, connecting with her Asai DDT that drove her head first into the mat. She immediately went for the cover with both legs hooked!
Zack: There’s the TEENAGE CRUSH…where do they get these names?!
ONE!!
TWOOOOOO!!!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Davis calls for the bell as the former cheerleader rises to her feet. Her music starts to play as she smiles and has her hand raised in victory.
Valerie: I don’t know where the names come from, but I do know Tiff didn’t get that fourth win!
Lexi: Your winner by pinfall…..ALLISON SULLIVAN!!
She had to lean against the ropes as she collected herself, but listened to the fans before she stepped out of the ring and greeted several of them along the barricade.
Zack: A hard fought win for Allison, and so ends Tiffany’s undefeated streak. I don’t know that this hurts her in the rankings too much, but it certainly gives Allison a shot in the arm.
Valerie: A shot in the arm she needed going forward, too. Tiffany is going to be fuming though.
The show then cut elsewhere inside Rogers Arena.
Double Trouble
Earlier today....
The appearance of Sara on the video wall gets a mixed response from the fans watching until she is joined by the reigning Future Shock Champion Missy with Adam right behind her. Given their recent history, Adam lets out a deep breath before it’s even started.
Sara: I’m here with the reigning Future Shock Champion Missy as well as her husband and FFW CEO Adam Grant. Thank you both for joining me.
Adam: You’re welcome.
Sara: I wanted to start with the champion here. I’m sure you noticed a few days ago on X that the very gifted Carson Black asked about having your twin sister pay a visit to Future Shock in a couple weeks when we visit your hometown of Leeds. He also authorized me to let you know that you will also be part of that card. We’ve never been to Leeds before, so I’m sure the prospect excites you, right?
Missy: It’s always good to be close to home, so yes, the prospect of actually being in my hometown is an exciting one. I don’t think I’ve ever actually had a match in my hometown. Close to it plenty of times, but never actually in Leeds.
Adam: I made sure for FFW and Future Shock to visit a few new stops. We’ve been to London and Sheffield, of course. But FFW will be in Birmingham a week from Saturday, and no better time for Future Shock to pay a visit to Leeds. I know all the tickets are gone already, so we’re looking forward to seeing the fans.
Sara: Thank you, but I didn’t ask you a question.
She turns her attention back to Missy. Adam looks away, seemingly biting his tongue.
Sara: According to Mr. Black, he’s put together a match that could be considered years in the making, given all the turmoil and dislike between the women in it. Because he’s booked you to face Cassandra in the main event.
Missy looks from Sara to Adam and back to Sara again.
Missy: You do realise he’s the one that signs your paychecks right?
The brunette rolls her eyes at Sara before shaking her head.
Missy: Well… Sara, if you did some homework you’d realise that Mr Black is actually running back a match that happened quite a few years ago across in SVW. It’s the reason Cassandra took up wrestling as a matter of fact… because I beat her and she lost her job as Vice President in SVW.
Sara: Given that she ended the career as far as I know of a former talent by the name of Lydia Charisma when she had no real issue with the woman, are you concerned at all that she might try to do the same against you and thereby cause you to miss your defense against Charlotte Harker at Undeniable 2 on February 25th? Adam, have you advised your wife against this match at all?
Adam: Oh, was that for me? No, I haven’t advised her against it. Why would I? She just said she beat Cassandra a few years back in SVW, and to my knowledge, the dislike between them hasn’t grown since then but it hasn’t dwindled either. Besides if I start pulling the Future Shock Champion out of singles matches, that’s a sign I don’t have faith in her, which I do. Endless sums of it, and-
Sara: Okay, that’s enough. You’re starting to blather a bit. Go ahead, Missy.
Missy: You really need to work on your attitude, Sara. You’re getting really bloody annoying now.
Missy rolls her eyes again.
Missy: And no, to answer your question, I’m not worried about facing Cassandra in the slightest. I’ve had bigger and stronger than her try and end my career before now and I’m still standing. More than still standing, I’m still soaring. My sister has thrown everything she could at me years ago, and what do you know, I’m still here.
Sara: Tonight in our main event, Charlotte and Sydney will meet. You’ve been in the ring with them both, particularly at Global Wars the year you won it for England. Do you have a prediction for who you think will win tonight between them since you know them both pretty well in the ring?
Missy: They’re both tough, strong competitors and I think they could be pretty evenly matched in the strength stakes. I have a feeling that Charlotte might take it just because she’s going to be hungry to gather some momentum before she gets to her shot at my title. That might just tilt the scales enough in her favour.
Sara: Adam, how would you rank the job so far done by the General Manager since you hired him for the job?
Adam: It’s a little early to have a full opinion, Sara. This is only the second show he’s put together since he got the job. So far, I haven’t got any issues. The guy even stepped aside at his own talent agency to focus fully on this, and to show he had no biases for his own clients.
Sara: So you’re not planning to throw him overboard like you did with Jake? Because I think he’s done an excellent job so far, even despite people out there who boo him because you know…
Adam rubbed his face now for a couple seconds.
Adam: I didn’t… I didn’t throw anyone overboard. One is filling in while the other is handling personal matters, now which include a wildfire that is ravaging the state he’s currently in, which I made sure he and his loved ones were evacuated. So far, Carson’s doing fine but like I said, it’s hard to say when it’s not even been a month since he took charge.
Sara: Waffling. Missy, how do you feel?
Missy: I feel like you’re really lucky I’ve always made a habit out of not hitting non wrestlers if I’m honest. But if you’re asking how I feel about the job Carson has done so far, like Adam said, it’s still early days. I already knew he had a good business sense, I was a client of his at one point but as Future Shock Director, only time will tell.
Sara turns to the camera.
Sara: You heard it here, fans. In two weeks here on Future Shock in the main event, sister versus sister in Leeds, England. We’ll be right back.
Sara pushes the microphone into Adam’s chest before she walks off screen as Future Shock takes a commercial break.

The show returns from the commercial break to the ring once again with the beaming expression of Lexi greeting the viewers before she begins.
Lexi: The following contest is scheduled for one fall to a finish with a 20 minute time limit, and it is part of the Global Wars series!
The loud strumming of a guitar could be heard across the Pa system. As it does we can see the silhouette of a woman on the tron strumming at a guitar. The woman tosses the guitar to the side and as she does she slowly emerges from behind the curtain. Sapphire smiles as she is in a blue glittery attire. She isn’t around as she is with best friend Emerald McAdams. The blue make their way down the ramp to the loud ovation of boos.
Lexi: Making her way to the ring being accompanied by Emerald McAdams, she is “The Shining Star” Sapphire Taylor!!!
Sapphire stops as she takes it all in. She cracks a very wicked grin before she sprints into the ring. She quickly makes her way to her feet where she does a backflip. The crowd just boos loudly as she does. She ignores them as Emerald tells them to be quiet. Sapphire smiles before bouncing about and waiting for things to get underway.
Zack: We heard plenty from Sapphire on our last show, Valerie. She wanted to be in Global Wars too, for the record. She wanted Global Wars. She wants to be Adrenaline Champion, and had plenty to say to the champ’s face back in Montreal. I think this is a case of her alligator mouth writing checks her rabbit ass can’t cash though.
Valerie: I don’t want to be biased, but dear GOD I hope Angela puts the silly girl in her place. But she also could do with the win heading into Undeniable against Siobhan, so she’s got that to think about too.
Zack: If she manages the win, she’s gonna want to challenge Angela too.
Valerie: She is a woman who wants the world…and everything in it, clearly. Needs to make her mind up. At least once Siobhan’s put her in her place, beating Angela would give her a fallback.
As “Keep On Swinging” by Rival Sons starts playing Angela Hinchcliffe walks out to the middle of the stage with the title belt on her shoulder. Rolling her head between her shoulders she reaches out in front of her and cracks her knuckles. As Jem joins her on the stage, she drops her arms to the side and bounces on the balls of her feet, loosening up. As the songs lyrics starts to play the two double high five, transitioning it into a hug that breaks as Jem charges for the ring, sliding underneath the bottom rope. Hopping up onto the middle turnbuckle, Jem points back to her tag team partner as she advances purposefully on the ring and the redheaded wrestler urges the crowd to make some noise for her friend. Climbing the steps, Ange enters the ring and the two girls high five each other once more before Jem slides under the bottom rope as Angela Hinchcliffe turns her attention to the ring. Unhooking the title belt, she holds it over her head, showing it to the crowd before passing it to the referee and waits for the match to start.
Lexi: Coming all the way from Chesterfield, England, standing 6’2” tall and weighing 182 lbs, accompanied to the ring by Jemima Michaels, she is the reigning Future Shock Diamond Champion...ANGELA HINCHCLIFFE!!!
Zack: Angela earned her spot last year to represent England when she knocked off Delilah at the first Undeniable. Tonight, she’ll deal with Sapphire but her date for Undeniable 2 is also set in stone. She’ll be defending that title against the undefeated Phoenix Galloway, who apparently is having a custom title being made for her, which we learned a couple weeks ago.
Valerie: That was one of the stranger things we learned a couple weeks ago. Angela’s a unit of a wrestler, and it would be insane to bet against her in any way. She’s got a busy few weeks ahead of her.
Referee Ashley Pruitt calls for the bell to start the match as the crowd is entirely behind Angela. The two women meet in the center with Sapphire telling her she’d take her title too after she got done with Siobhan, but it was pretty clear that the words weren’t working too well on the Diamond Champion.
Zack: I don’t think Sapphire is gonna get inside Angela’s head here. She’s been in the ring with plenty of mouthy women over the years. But I want you fans to just take a second and notice the size difference. Angela is 6’2, and Sapphire is barely over five feet. Not to mention about a 60 pound weight difference.
Valerie: We’ve seen bigger odds overcome…granted I don’t think this is going to be one of those cases, but I might be wrong.
Seeing that the threats weren’t working, Sapphire shoved her backwards. It didn’t work though as Angela barely budged, but she did return the favor and sent Taylor onto her butt on the mat. That didn’t sit well with the tiny blonde as she got back to her feet, and then proceeded to slap Angela across the face. It only made matters worse as the champion’s eyes flashed and rushed her backwards into the corner with a shoulder thrust before she began driving right hands into her head, then onto the top of her head as she drove her down to a seat on the canvas.
Zack: Was that ever a mistake!? Angela with those MMA-style hammer fists playing whack-a-mole with Sapphire’s skull!
Valerie: When have we EVER seen a slap to the face end the way the person doing the slapping wants it to go? Wrestlers never seem to learn that it’s the one thing you just don’t do, unless getting hammered for it is something you’re into.
She yanked her back to her feet by the arm into a short arm clothesline without letting go of her hand. Sapphire was pulled up again into a second one before she was yanked up again. Hinchcliffe whipped her across to the far side, and scooped her up on the rebound into a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. The look on the champion’s face was rather severe as the handprint Sapphire left on her cheek was still barely visible.
Valerie: Ohhhhhhh Angela is BIG mad. And Sapphire is absolutely paying for it now.
Zack: She brought it on herself, so it’s hard to have sympathy for her here. Or really any time ever, if we’re honest.
Emerald tried to rally her best friend from the floor as Sapphire was starting to get back to her feet. Angela planted her head between her legs before she hoisted her up for a running Liger bomb that bounced the diminutive blonde off the mat on impact as Jem watched with a big smile on her face in Angela’s corner. The Diamond Champion scooped Sapphire onto her shoulders, but whatever she was about to do was stopped when Emerald climbed onto the apron and grabbed the blonde’s feet.
Zack: The referee can feel free to throw—OH SHE IS!!
Pruitt started shouting at Emerald before Jem yanked the Scottish lass of the apron, allowing Angela to deliver a Death Valley driver to Sapphire. The referee bent between the ropes, and told Emerald she was ejected from ringside immediately, which got a big pop from the fans. McAdams made it clear that she didn’t want to go, and that’s when Jem started throwing hands and battering her backwards up the aisle.
Zack: Emerald is being taken out of Rogers Arena, and to a nicer girl it couldn’t happen! Very kind of Jem to escort her out of here!
Valerie: Emerald giving us Scots a bad name out here! Thanks for that, Jem! Much appreciated. Not that it’s going to change anything about how I expect this match to go…or want it to go.
The fight went through the curtains with Jem continuing to battle the powerhouse backwards till they were out of sight. Angela looked back with a smile on her face at what her bestie had done, and the referee noticed too…but she didn’t notice Sapphire using the distraction to deliver a low blow between Angela’s legs. The champion dropped to her knees before Pruitt turned back around, and Sapphire was back to her feet.
Valerie: Look, I don’t like it when people do that and I’m not going to pretend that I do, but I DO know that it was smart of Sapphire to take advantage, even if I don’t think it was the wise move.
Zack: She had to get her off her feet, and Plan A wasn’t working. The trick is keeping her there, which is easier said than done.
The Calgary fans weren’t happy about it as Sapphire was now just a bit taller than her adversary as she wailed away with straight right hands to the face followed by an elbow. It drove the powerhouse to her knees before the tiny blonde took off for the ropes, catching Hinchcliffe with a running kneelift to the face that finally dropped her onto her back. The Gemstone fell into the cover as Pruitt went to count.
Zack: Sapphire finally felled that big oak tree, and–
ONE!!
She was only on her for a one count before Angela’s hands boosted her off the cover almost like she bounced off to the canvas. The blonde crashed to the mat, and her eyes widened as she looked over to see Angela sitting up.
Zack: Did you see that?! I think that cover might have been premature!
Valerie: …I feel like we should be saying “not tonight” again. But yeah, definitely a little early for that cover.
Taylor immediately went on the attack after Angela sat up, raining elbows into the top of her head before using a shining wizard to put her back on the mat again. The Calgary fans continued to boo the tiny blonde as she darted for the ropes, using them for a springboard moonsault double knee drop into Hinchcliffe’s body. It doubled the Diamond Champion in pain as Sapphire made it back to her feet, dusting off her hands like she had just finished a chore.
Valerie: Not that the too early cover seems to have stopped Sapphire from keeping herself where she wants to be.
Zack: You know a good time to pat yourself on the back for what you’ve done? After the bell has sounded, and you got your hand raised.
Valerie: I feel like we should be expecting anything different from Sapphire at this point.
Then she took off for the ropes and rebounded into a running shooting star press onto Angela’s prone body. She quickly hooked the far leg for the cover as Pruitt slid into position.
Zack: I think she’s done more damage now, let’s see how much!
ONE!!
TW-NO!
The Diamond Champion got her shoulder off the mat as the two was about to land on the canvas, prompting Sapphire to pummel her with fists to the face before she finally got back to her feet.
Valerie: Did do more damage, but not even close to enough. And Sapphire is maaaaaaaaaad.
But the boos were getting louder now, and not just for Sapphire as the arrival of Phoenix Galloway didn’t sit well with the crowd as she headed down the ramp towards the timekeeper’s table. Sapphire ignored it as she pulled Angela back to her feet, and shoved her into the corner. Taylor took off for the far side, and came back looking for a running boot to the face. But the much taller Angela sidestepped her, and her foot caught the top turnbuckle instead. As she was trying to free it, Hinchcliffe scooped her up into an Olympic slam before making the cover.
Zack: That was not in Sapphire’s plan, and it may be about to cost her big time!
ONE!!!
TWOOOOOO!!!
THR-NO!
The diminutive blonde got her shoulder off the mat though, and Angela was trying to get her wits about her after she rolled off the cover. Meanwhile, it looked like Phoenix was arguing with Lexi at the timekeeper’s table.
Valerie: What the hell does Phoenix want here, anyway? We know she’s getting the next shot at Angela, but that doesn’t mean she needs to be down here.
As Phoenix and Lexi got into a heated exchange at the table, Angela pulled Sapphire back to her feet. She scooped her over her shoulder, and took off for the corner to drop her face first onto it with a snake eyes. As Taylor staggered, the Diamond Champion bounced off the near side with a lariat that mowed her down before she dropped for the cover!
Zack: Sapphire’s head would have been in the fourth row any other night, and this one may be all over but the whining!
ONE!!!
TWOOOOOOO!!!
THREEEEEEEEE-WHOA.
But the would-be Adrenaline Champion got her foot across the bottom rope in the nick of time, which Pruitt pointed out to Angela when she looked towards her.
Valerie: Well, Sapphire actually does have a brain! Who’da thunk it!
At the timekeeper’s table, Phoenix shoved Lexi back into her chair and left a wad of cash on the table before she snatched up the Diamond Championship for herself. She told the camera it was hers now and began to head back towards the ramp…at least until Angela spotted her.
Zack: She….she came out to buy the title? It doesn’t work that way.
Valerie: I guess that’s what happens when your mother’s loaded and you get your way more often than not. Sorry, Robbyn!
Phoenix didn’t make it all the way up the ramp before Angela rolled out after her. The actual Diamond Champion took off towards her, catching her with a bulldog from behind that drove her into the ramp. She snatched her title from Phoenix’s grasp as the referee was counting in the ring with Sapphire telling her to count faster.
Zack: Phoenix earned that, if you ask me. Look at Sapphire, this is how she got past Siobhan a few weeks ago! She’s more than happy to win by countout!
Valerie: Wouldn’t be her first countout win recently either! Far as Sapphire cares, a win’s a win!
She wasn’t gonna get her wish though as Angela bolted back into the ring, leaving her title on the corner. Sapphire rose back to her feet, but only briefly when Angela caught her with a spinning backfist to the jaw. She nearly collapsed before the champion planted her head, and delivered her cradle piledriver followed by a cover!
Zack: ANGEL DRIVER!!
ONE!!!
TWOOOOOOO!!!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
Pruitt called for the bell as the champion got back to her feet to a pop from the crowd. She scooped up her title from the corner, and raised it over her head as 3 points were added to the scoreboard for England.
Valerie: And even when she gets all kinds of distracted by thieves, Angela is still too much for Sapphire to handle! I hope the Adrenaline Champion was taking notes there.
Lexi: Your winner by pinfall……ANGELA HINCHCLIFFE!!
Angela looked up to her title just as Phoenix hit the ring, and used a chop block to take her down while her back was turned. She dove on top of her, unloading with furious right hands as Angela fought back from underneath.
Valerie: Phoenix REALLY making the point of wanting the belt, not that I’m entirely convinced attacking a woman who’s just had a match is the best way to go about it.
Zack: They’re gonna meet at Undeniable 2 for the Diamond Championship on February 25th, and it doesn’t look like that night can get here fast enough!
The brawl was on from there as the two traded fists before Kyle headed down the ramp, pulling his client out of the ring by her foot to the floor. Angela rose to her feet, scooping her title off the mat and inviting Phoenix back as Kyle pulled her in the other direction.
Zack: This might be the first time ever that I think Kyle is doing the right thing. Phoenix tried to buy the Diamond Championship, but Angela made clear it’s not for sale!
Valerie: As well she should be making that clear! And Kyle knows that Angela is a dangerous woman when angry, so understandably doesn’t want his client getting hurt by that.
The fans were loudly cheering Angela as Kyle ushered Phoenix to the back. The Diamond Champion rolled out of the ring, scooping the wad of cash off the timekeeper’s table left by Phoenix before she began tossing bills into the crowd.
Zack: Looks like some of our fans are getting a little extra spending money tonight here in Calgary, courtesy of Phoenix….and Angela.
Valerie: Might as well put the money to good use! Phoenix wouldn’t call it that though, but that’s on her for leaving it out here.
After handing out all the cash in the wad, Angela raised her title in the air to a pop from the crowd as we see the graphic for her next title defense at Undeniable 2.
Zack: With everything that went on here, Val, almost forgot that Angela has now put England on the board in Global Wars. What I saw tonight makes me think she may just be the odds on favorite too.
Valerie: For better or worse, England usually is up top where the likelihood of winning Global Wars is concerned. This year isn’t any different.
The show then cut to a commercial for Undeniable 2 coming February 25th on FFW All Access.
Shaw Was Not Amused
The show goes to a clip from the closing moments of the last episode of Future Shock showing Shaw’s win over Delilah Cameron as well as being attacked from behind by the Pure Champion. Then we cut to the stage and find her getting a loud response from her fellow Canadians in Calgary as she stands by with Emily.
Emily: Calgary!! Please welcome my guest….SHAUGHNESSY O’NEILL!!
Shaw waved to the crowd, letting the cheering die down before she turned to the interviewer.
Shaw: Hi Emily. It’s good to be here, continuing our Canada tour and getting to be in the great city of Calgary.
Emily: Let’s dive right into things. First of all, congratulations on your win over Delilah in Montreal. I’m sure moments like that in your home are rare but worth their weight in gold.
Shaw: Yeah, they really are. We don’t get to go to Montreal as often as say Chicago or New York or LA so getting to be part of the show; getting to be out there in front of my hometown is always special. Getting a win against a competitor as talented and as dangerous as Delilah Cameron is even better and I’m very happy to get the year off on the right foot. I’m even more happy to hear Carson confirm that the last tag match I had was definitely just one night only. I am a lot less happy about what happened after picking up that win though.
Emily: That was what I was going to bring up next. I don’t guess I should be surprised, but I kinda assumed after Sydney, that things were done with you and Lacey. You and Charlotte won the match, there really wasn’t any controversy about it at all. Yet…here we are.
Shaw: I guess maybe she heard the commentary at the start of that match suggesting that I might have an interest in the Pure Championship. You know what? I thought Kyle might’ve been smarter than that. I’d like to think that we would have told her to not try and antagonise me and low blow me in front of my hometown crowd; to not spoil my moment. I mean…he was there. He was a witness to when I got fired up and I got that singular focus on a title I wanted to win or keep and he enjoyed taking his cut from me being a Future Shock season winner, a record breaking Unity Tag Team Champion, Global Wars Winner, FFW Champion and Pure Champion. It kept him in a lot of those high priced designer suits, chauffeur driven cars and private jet flights with the ability to shower whichever of his other clients he desired in jewels. Instead he let Lacey come out and attack me and if there was ANY question as to what title I’m setting my sights on, it got erased in that moment.
Emily: You may be spot on there. I don’t claim to know how he works with his clients. Lacey always struck me as someone who does what she wants regardless. Anyway, I do have a theory about all of this. Last year, you faced her one on one and you have been the only person to kick out of her favorite move again and again. Part of me thinks, and she’ll probably say I’m wrong and call us both boo, but part of me thinks you doing that got to her on a psychological level and she’s trying to address it in her….own Lacey way.
Shaw: Maybe. And she can call me Boo as much as she likes - my friends have called me a lot worse and meant every word of it. If she wants another chance to try and put me down with her favourite move and show me that I can’t kick out of it, I’m more than willing to step into that ring with her. And if she’s that confident that she can beat me, well, why not put the Pure Championship on the line against me too. It only took the best in the world destroying my knee and putting me on the shelf for six months to take it from me the last time. I’m sure Lacey believes that she can do one better and beat me right in the middle of the ring so why not put her money where her mouth is?
Emily: Well that’s part of why I wanted to chat. That match has been signed for Undeniable 2 in Gillette Stadium February 25th, the home of the New England Patriots. I have not been able to confirm whether it’s for the title or not yet, but I can confirm it will take place in front of over 70,000 fans in Foxborough, Massachusetts.
Shaw: That’s great. I’m sure you’re aware Emily, that I pretty much always step up on the biggest of stages. That’s nothing I like more than stepping through the ropes in front of the largest crowds on the planet and doing the thing that I do best in the entire world. Whether the title is on the line or not, I’ll treat Lacey with all the respect that she deserves. I’ll be fully ready and prepared for her; like it’s the biggest and most important match of my career. I’ll dig down as deep as I have too and I will beat you at Undeniable 2, at the second stadium show in Future Shock history.
Emily: Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe this is also the first show ever where you and Charlotte are both potentially challenging for a championship on the same night. What do you think her chances are with Missy? No one in FFW is more knowledgeable about facing her than you.
Shaw: I think you’re right, Emily. I think this is the first time we’ve both challenged for singles titles on the same show. What do I think her chances are against Missy?
The French Canadian took a deep breath and let it out with a sigh.
Shaw: I…I honestly can’t pick between them. I’ve said that on some level it hurts me to admit it but Missy is probably the best in the world - pains me because I’m competitive and I WANT that to be…I know that it could’ve been me but for the finest of margins. Missy is one of those people who can and will up her game and climb to heights that you honestly didn’t think possible. Somehow she finds a way. Charlotte, though, she’s as tough as they come. If she can stay healthy - and I hope she’s put those injury problems from the last two years behind her - she’s one of the strongest women in the industry, mentally and physically. She’ll be a different challenge to the one I posed to Missy, closer to the one that she got from Arabella but perhaps a couple of levels higher up. And there’s also going to be the fact that Harker’s going to want to do what I’ve not been able to. That’s not gonna be diesel in the tank, that’s like bolting a rocket engine to a Ferrari. Or like feeding a nuclear reactor - once the reaction starts and gets to a certain point, there’s not a chance in Hell that you’re stopping it. So I really can’t pick between them.
Emily: We’ll see Charlotte in tonight’s main event when she meets Sydney Christensen one on one in the latest round of a few battles they’ve had. Shaw, thank you for talking with me.
The reporter gives Shaw a side hug before the show heads to a commercial break.

The show returns to a clip showing the two Global Wars matches from last week before we see the graphic for tonight’s tag match. Then we return to Lexi back in the ring.
Lexi: The following tag team contest is scheduled for one fall to a finish with a 30 minute time limit, and it is part of the Global Wars series!
Zack: You could call this an Unlikely Allies tag match too. Both teams fought each other two weeks ago, and now they gotta work together. Whatever team wins gets points for both countries, by the way. And if it’s not either Luci or Madyson on the winning end of this, they’re really gonna be behind the eight ball on being able to stay in the series.
Valerie: The chemistry we’re gonna see here is gonna be…incredibly interesting, to say the least. Being at odds for the same reason and being forced to work with each other does some weird stuff to your psyche. But as you said, a must win scenario for Luci and Madyson.
The lights go out completely as Power starts to play. A lightning effect of white and blue pyrotechnics erupts, lighting up the stage for a second at a time. In each of the flashes the silhouette of a female standing centre stage is highlighted.
Hold up, no, you didn't bow, bow
I ain't the chick to walk behind you 'round town
Just 'cause you're packin', packin', whoop, down south
That don't mean I'm ever gonna take it lying down, baby
The pyrotechnics finish and as the lights come up the sound of an engine revving plays on top of the music track and a puff of smoke covers the stage for a moment. The smoke clears to reveal Madyson and Stone standing with her hands on her hips and a smirk on her face.
Oh, I'm a machine when I do it
I'll be catching fire, gasoline when I do it
Just 'cause you're packin', packin', whoop, down south
That don't mean I'm ever gonna take it lying down
Lexi: Introducing at this time from Salem, Oregon…...MADYSON MORRISON!
Baby, you're the man
But I got the, I got the, I got the power
You make rain
But I make it, I make it, I make it shower
You should know, I'm the one who's in control
I'll let you come take the wheel, long as you don't forget
Who got the power?
I got the, I got the power
I got the, I got the power
I got the, I got the power
Hold up!
(My turn)
Madyson takes off at a run to the ring and jumps straight up onto the apron, standing there for a moment to survey the crowd before she pulls the top rope down and hops over it into the ring. She makes her way to her corner and hops up to sit on the turnbuckle as she awaits the start of the match.
Zack: The US representative in the form of Madyson Morrison really needs to work together with her partner tonight, because being 2 down in Global Wars when there’s only 4 matches in the series leaves a whole lot up to chance when it comes to being able to continue without being eliminated.
Valerie: It really, really does. And Madyson will absolutely know that, and what’s on the line for her.
Lexi: And her partner….
“Cynics and Critics” starts blaring through the speakers as a spotlight hits the entrance ramp, highlighting the arrival of the One-Woman Rebellion, who steps out with a steel chair in one hand, a baton in the other. Holding the chair like a riot shield, Domino Evans bangs the baton against it a couple of times just for the thunderclap, before letting out a roar of war before strutting down towards the ring (while twirling the baton around her fingers/, dropping the chair and the baton along the way). Right before entering the ring, she swiftly removes her spiked leather jacket with the same hand twirling the baton, before rolling into the ring and making her way to the ropes, perching herself on the middle rope and raising her baton/jacket up high as she poses for the crowd.
Lexi: And her partner…. From Edinburgh, Scotland… DOMINO! EVANS!!!
After posing and soaking in the boos of the audience, she jumps down and paces around the ring, a sick smile on her face as her need for aggression already overflows from her body language.
Zack: Domino kinda likes to run her mouth, and normally that’s a good thing for building up to a match for the fans. But the problem is I hope she didn’t spend days reminding Madyson here about her win, because…I’m not sure it’d work out in her team’s favor.
Valerie: If she did that…she’s an idiot. That’s about as well as I can put that. But being mouthy has also landed her in a lot of hot water before.
Lexi: And their opponents….
“All of the kings have their queens on the throne
We will pop champagne and raise a toast
To all of the queens who are fighting alone
Baby you’re not dancing on your own”
Ava Max’s “Kings and Queens” comes out over the speakers, bringing a cheer from the crowd in attendance. The Australian wrestler steps out from behind the curtain. She stops in the centre of the stage to take it in, looking around her with a smile on her face.
Lexi: On her way to the ring, for Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia, please welcome LUCIIIIIII!
Still smiling widely, Luci heads down to the ring, high fiving fans on her way down. Once at the bottom, she pushes herself onto the apron and uses the top rope to vault herself over, landing on her feet. Once there, she goes to her corner and hops onto the middle turnbuckle, throwing her hands into the air and grinning. As she comes back down the music fades out.
Zack: Luci is in the same boat as Madyson. There’s also the fact that I don’t think she wants to be placed underneath Jacqui Minogue as Australia’s best representative in the history of Global Wars.
Valerie: I wouldn’t want to be in that position if I was Luci either, but after what happened a couple weeks ago…there’s every chance it might be the case.
Lexi: And her partner…..
The arena goes dim as strobing white and pink lights flow back and forth on the stage.
“MZ. HYDE!” echoes through the arena as a wall of sparklers erupts from the stage, as they dissipate Alyson Hyde catapults up from the middle of the stage and posts an almost spiderman type of pose as she lands, Alyson is wearing a pair of black pants with white patch work lines of the, the letters FU on her left thigh in white and a few skulls just under her right knee, her black boots had the words HYDE up the sides also in white and rested midway to her knee. Her black sleeveless top was cropped just above her navel with a white falling angel on it that did up behind her neck with a white sports bra under it.
“In the daylight,
I'm your sweetheart,
You're goody-two-shoes prude is a work of art
But you don't know me,
And soon you won't forget,
Bad as can be, yeah you know I'm not so innocent”
As she poses she looks over her shoulder to see her husband and manager walk out behind her, reaching down to help her to her feet, much to the disdain of the crowd. As the two bask in the spotlight for a moment. Aly looks at her husband who smirks and winks at her, as the two of them begin to walk slowly down the ramp towards the ring, sharing in a small conversation as Lexi begins to announce the canadian born wrestler.
Welcome to the nightmare in my head, (Oh god!)
Say hello to something scary,
The monster in your bed, (Oh god!)
Just give in and you won't be sorry,
Welcome to my other side,
Hello it's Mz Hyde!
Lexi: Making her way to the ring, accompanied by Viktor Hyde, and hailing from London, Ontario, Canada.... She is the “FALLEN ANGEL” ALYSON..... HYDE!!!
I can be the bitch,
I can play the whore,
Or your fairytale princess who could ask for more
A touch of wicked,
A pinch of risqué,
Good girl gone bad, my poison is your remedy
As the two of them make it to the ring they turn to the corner, Alyson gives him some last minute directions before he scoops her up easily and places her on the side of the ring causing the blonde to giggle. As he stands in front of her she wraps her arm around his shoulder to his chest and looks out into the crowd before pressing a kiss to his cheek causing him to grin ear to ear.
Aly, still on the apron of the ring moves towards her corner, as Vik climbs onto the apron before Alyson jumps over the top rope, and gets a little pep talk from her manager while waiting for the match to start.
Zack: Two big homecomings in a row for Alyson Hyde, who put Canada on the scoreboard two weeks ago. And she could almost seal herself into the finals with a win tonight, which would mean well for Luci…and really put Madyson on the backfoot.
Valerie: You’re not wrong about any of that! Canada has a really good history in Global Wars so she’ll be looking to keep that reputation going, even if she’s teaming with someone she might not want to do that with.
Zack: Well if there’s points to be added for coming out to the most used song in FFW history, she’d already be in the finals.
Valerie: She would! Though I’ve a similar problem with Mz Hyde that I have with someone else on the FFW roster…it’s not her I think of. You know who I mean in both cases.
Referee Kevin Fisk called for the bell to start the match, and it was Domino who decided to head out towards the center of the ring as Madyson was talking to her. The witch shook her head and stepped out to the corner, as Alyson let Luci know she had this and just follow along since she defeated her a couple weeks ago. That didn’t really seem to sit well with Luci before she stepped out to the apron.
Zack: If anyone had any inkling that either of these teams were going to be on the same page, I think we can put that to rest. Especially Alyson, who wants to be in charge because she won on the last show.
Valerie: That makes sense for Alyson, for better or worse. But it’s an interesting take, given that Luci is the most experienced tag wrestler out of the four.
The two women met in the center of the ring, and the smack talking was already underway. Domino patted Alyson on the head with a smirk, and Hyde took a deep breath…and headbutted her in the face. She followed that with right hands to the jaw followed by an European uppercut that sent Evans backwards a step. Hyde dropped down to use a leg sweep to put her on the mat before she used a fist drop to keep her there a second longer. Evans was back up a second later though as Hyde was taking off towards the ropes. She ran into Domino, but the brawler didn’t budge. So the Scottish lass told her to try again. A second time, still no movement.
Zack: I’m not sure this is the best gameplan for Alyson with Domino, because something tells me if she goes for a third attempt…
Valerie: One of two things will happen. Domino will hit back five times harder, or she’s gonna hurt herself.
Alyson did just that, hitting the ropes and coming back faster this time before Evans caught her with a boot in the face. It staggered her a second before the Scottish lass started throwing hands, lefts and rights and jabs before she rolled her arms and followed with a bionic elbow to the top of her head. That dropped her where she stood before Evans hit the ropes next, rebounding with velocity as the high flier got to her feet and mowed her down with a lariat. Domino smirked with pride before plugging a nostril with one finger and blowing it out onto Alyson’s body with the other.
Valerie: …Well that was gross. And there she was doing pretty well for herself before carrying on with the nonsense that’s been the story of this match so far.
Zack: She does call herself an unprofessional wrestler, that’s not just marketing, folks.
Alyson started to get up, realizing what just happened. Evans went to grab her, but Hyde blocked the shot and clocked her with a hard right hand to the jaw. It staggered her before the Canadian wrestler bounced off the near side with a Thesz press followed by furious right hands to her head. She switched it up to elbow smashes to the jaw before finally getting back to her feet and wiping Domino’s snot off her chest.
Zack: She had that coming, Valerie. Let’s be honest, that was absolutely revolting to watch. I don’t blame Alyson in the slightest.
Valerie: God no. But one thing’s obvious so far; neither woman’s getting much of a clear advantage.
Evans started to get to her feet before Alyson used a hard whip to send her into her team’s corner. She followed after her with a bicycle knee to the chest before tagging in Luci. The Aussie stepped through the ropes as Alyson left the ring, snapping her arms around Domino’s waist and sending her over with a release belly to belly suplex. The Scottish brawler was rising again, only to find herself in a rear waistlock before Luci sent her flying again, this time with a release German suplex.
Zack: Look at Luci go! She’s not even letting Domino have a chance to get her feet under her before she’s throwing her around like a bedroom pillow.
Valerie: That’s the best thing you can do with Domino. She’s powerful, and heavy - in the nicest way possible. So match the power and beat her at her own game.
Evans got to her feet again, only for Luci to come from behind with a high knee to the back that sent her into the ropes. She didn’t have much time to respond before Madyson reached over and tagged herself in as Luci was looking to apply a full nelson on the lass. Morrison tried to take advantage of the situation as she took off for the far side behind Luci’s back, and went for a shotgun dropkick. But the veteran had seen the tag, and ducked out of the way. Madyson blasted her own partner in the back, sending her through the ropes to the floor. Domino landed hard, and looked up to see Madyson looking back at her.
Zack: Uh oh! Madyson tried to get the drop on Luci, but…that wasn’t how things panned out! Domino thinks her partner just dumped her out of the ring!
Valerie: Weeeeeeeeeeeell crap. That’s one way to send this match into absolute chaos, I guess!
As Madyson was trying to tell her partner that she didn’t mean to do it, she never got to finish her thought before Luci snatched her around the waist for a German suplex. Morrison got back to her feet as the Aussie charged towards her with a running chop to the chest that stunned her long enough for Luci to duck behind her and deliver a wheelbarrow facebuster and a cover!
Zack: Luci’s fully taking advantage of the miscue, and ready to get Australia on the board!
ONE!!
TW-NO!
The brunette kicked out though, and got back to her feet. Luci beat her to it as she delivered another chop to her chest before sending her across to the far corner with a hard whip. She followed after her looking for an avalanche splash, but Madyson dodged to the left and let her crash into the corner instead.
Valerie: Wasn’t quite enough for Luci, but that speed from Madyson was all she needed to stop Luci dead.
The witch capitalized quickly with a side Russian leg sweep to take Luci down to the mat. Domino was staring a hole through the back of Madyson’s head in the corner as she pulled Luci back to her knees. She grabbed both arms, and began unloading a barrage of knees to the head before the Aussie reeled backwards. A spinning heel kick to the jaw put her on the canvas before she went for the cover with the far leg hooked.
Zack: You could hear the snap off the heel kick to the jaw, and Madyson’s ready to get the USA on the board!
ONE!!
TWOOOO!!!
TH-NO!!
Luci got her shoulder up in time though, and Morrison was back to her feet a moment later. She dragged the blonde up with her, and shot her into her team’s corner. The brunette followed up with a corner clothesline before offering a tag to Domino. Evans made the tag, and stepped through the ropes before connecting with a roundhouse kick to Madyson’s jaw that sent her out of the ring the hard way.
Valerie: I get that Domino is upset after what happened earlier, but that was an accident and she’ll see that when she watches the match back. That on the other hand was entirely deliberate.
The Scottish lass took off for the far side when she noticed Luci starting to get up, and rebounded into a springboard Superman punch that floored the blonde. She immediately went for the cover as Fisk dropped to make the count.
Zack: Things are falling apart on Domino’s team, but it might be a moot point in three seconds after that FEEDBACK!
ONE!!
TWOOOO!!!
THREE-NOO!!
The count never finished as Alyson dragged Domino off the cover. That didn’t sit well with her as she got to her feet, and went to blast the Canadian athlete. That only set off the pair throwing hands as they had earlier in the match as Fisk tried to separate them.
Valerie: It’s all fine and well going for Alyson after she broke the cover, but attacking the illegal woman isn’t going to help her.
Domino was getting the better of the exchange though, sending Hyde backwards before Luci surprised her with a backstabber that dropped her to the mat. Alyson told Luci to hold her as she headed for the corner to make her way to the top rope. Luci obliged by grabbing Domino’s feet. That’s when Hyde went for a frog splash that Domino then pulled her knees up, causing Luci to topple over on top of her for Hyde to land on.
Zack: Domino has some damn strong legs! Look at that! Luci was a damage sponge from the frog splash!
Valerie: Hey, whatever works!
Domino seized on the moment, using a running boot to send Hyde out of the ring before she grabbed Luci into position. She delivered her DDT finisher before making the cover!
Zack: A frog splash AND THE REBELLION DDT!!
ONE!!!
TWOOOOOOO!!!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
Fisk called for the bell as Evans got to her feet. When her music restarted, she got her hand raised and cast her gaze towards Madyson standing in the corner with an irritated expression.
Lexi: Your winners by pinfall and scoring 3 points for Scotland and the USA….DOMINO EVANS AND MADYSON MORRISON!!
Valerie: I don’t know if Domino had that planned, but it worked regardless! USA go on the board at last and Australia…well.
Madyson didn’t stay to celebrate as she hopped down off the apron to return to the back as the scoreboard doubled Scotland’s points and added three for America.
Zack: Valerie, I don’t think we have to worry about either of these two teams deciding to make a run for the tag titles anytime soon. Scotland now has the lead with six points, and America is up by 3.
Valerie: That they are. And at this point, the only team left to score is Australia, which is giving Luci something of a mountain to climb.
The show then heads elsewhere inside the Rogers Arena.
What’s Up, DOC?
When we return to the broadcast, that’s when we hear quite a loud din of boos from the Vancouver crowd as we see Latina Heat and the reigning Nova Champion River Campbell in the ring with DOC. The manager looks confused at all the disdain he’s hearing, but hands each of them a microphone and begins talking anyway.
DOC: You all not having a good time tonight?
More boos. He shrugs his shoulders.
DOC: Well maybe ol’ DOC can cheer you up, because I just left the bossman’s office and these three women right here are going to be part of the biggest night! They’re going to go to Undeniable 2 in front of over 70,000 people in the home of the New England Patriots! How about that?!
That doesn’t change the boos either.
DOC: It’s gonna be the reigning and defending Nova Champion River Campbell and the best tag team of a generation in Latina Heat meeting Target Acquired and Jamie Winters in Foxborough on February 25th! AND…AND ol’ DOC has been able to add a little…spice to the match to make it all that much more interesting!
Dani: In front of 70,000 people. On one of the biggest shows of the year, on the second stadium show in Future Shock history…of course you want the greatest tag team in FFW history on the show.
Frani: We might have lost the titles but it was in a match with a woman with no qualifications to be a referee - no licence, no examinations passed…just a shirt that she’d probably stolen from one of the real referee’s in the back - just like she stole our stuff and hurled it out to the crowd before we stomped her down in the cell. Just like we’d beaten her every time before that. And her partner too.
Dani: The point is, we’re STILL the greatest tag team in FFW history. And we’re joined by a woman who has finally realized what it takes to realise her potential. A woman who is no longer a doormat but one of the hardest hitting, most determined and to be quite frank with you, most attractive American women on the roster. River Campbell.
DOC: River, not only is Jamie bucking for her rematch, but you also got all the girls in Global Wars who may also be knocking down your door wanting a crack at the gold when they win. But I know you don’t sweat them, do you?
There was a shake of the head from the tattooed woman as she adjusted the title slightly on her shoulder.
River: Nope. I don’t sweat any of them. If they win the tournament and choose to go for this Championship ahead of the Pure title, let them come and try their luck. I know that I’m damn good - that I’m one of the best. I’ve gone toe to toe with some of the best in Future Shock and I’ve had them beaten. In my mind I’ve waited far too long to get my hands on this title and now that I have, I plan to make a whole lot of people wait even longer. And if Jamie is pushing for a rematch, she can have one, but the result will be the same as it was the first time we met and I beat her; it’ll be the same as it was when I took this title from her. And this time she won’t have the benefit of all that momentum and history making exploits from winning Global Wars behind her, giving her that boost of confidence.
DOC: Let ol’ DOC tell you all about the stipulations the bossman has added to this match. WHEN the Heat and River win this six woman tag, River will get to pick whatever match type she wants for the rematch with Jamie. Anything her little heart desires. Latina Heat will get a Pick Your Poison contract good for an entire year to face any team they want. On the long shot odds if the other team wins, Jamie gets to pick her preferred match type for the title rematch with River and Target Acquired get those contracts instead.
River nodded her head.
River: That sounds good to me. A nice little added bonus for doing what I’ve done before to Jamie and to both members of Target Acquired. And don’t worry, Jamie, after I’ve won I’ll take a little time and take some advice before I choose the stipulation. But I promise it’ll be something that all the fans won’t want to miss.
Frani: And we love the idea of having a pick your poison contract good for one year to face any team.
Dani: We’ll definitely make that count. We’ll definitely use it to make sure that we get back to the top and take our rightful place - confirm our rightful place as the greatest tag team in wrestling today.
Frani: Because we are the Latina Heat and we are every bit as good as we keep telling you we are. All the Latin American world knows that we’re heroes. They’re all desperate to see us back on top. Beating Target Acquired and Jamie will just help us get there that lil bit quicker without getting held back by anyone.
DOC: That’s what I’m talking about! Undeniable 2! Gillette Stadium. FFW All Access. February 25th. Foxborough, Massachusetts! River and Latina Heat will make history in one of the biggest six woman tag matches in FFW history.
None of the crowd seemed to have changed their minds as the boos continued before the show went to a commercial for the stadium show in 4 weeks.
28 Days
The next thing we see is Kyle standing outside Carson’s office, and giving the door a solid knock. Within a few seconds, the Future Shock Director steps out and doesn’t look particularly pleased either.
Carson: Mr. Kilmeade, I believe we have a problem.
Kyle: Let’s hear what it is.
Carson: On After Shock, you quoted me as saying things to you that I did not say pertaining to the Diamond Champion. That conversation didn’t happen, did it?
Kyle: Okay okay, not in so many words. Consider it manifestation, because that’s what I think will happen. I’ve seen it work for Amber a few times. Won’t happen again, I promise. I do want to ask you something.
Carson: Go ahead.
Kyle: You know what I don’t get about you?
Carson’s eyebrow rose at this as he looked at Kyle.
Carson: Do tell.
Kyle: Why are you so worried about what other people think? You've been overseeing things for a few weeks now, this is only your second booked show since you were hired. And every time you go out there, they boo you. Not just a little either. They almost drown you out, all because they’ve decided they don’t want to give you a chance. But here we are right now, you getting onto me because you’re, I guess, trying to appease someone who fired you without even asking your perspective, as far as I know. You’re putting together these matches for fans who…can’t stand you, and don’t want you in charge.
Carson started to wave his hand in a circular motion, though he was seemingly getting irritated.
Carson: Is there a point to this, Mr. Kilmeade?
Kyle: The point is you’re in control of Future Shock for the time being, and you should start doing what YOU think is best and what YOU want, and worry less about who you might offend in the process. Enjoy it while it lasts.
Carson ponders this quietly before Kyle continues.
Kyle: Besides, it’s a limited time. Haven’t you heard?
Carson: Heard what?
Kyle: I saw it on his Instagram account last night. Jake’s gonna be at Undeniable 2.
That got a loud pop from the crowd.
Kyle: Going by what Adam said about him when he returns, looks like your days are numbered.
He gives Carson a pat on the arm before walking away, leaving the Future Shock Director looking very angry before the show takes a commercial break.

The show returns from the commercial break to the ring with Lexi standing front and center ready with the final introductions of the evening.
Lexi: The following contest is scheduled for one fall to a finish with a 30 minute time limit! It is your Future Shock main event!
Zack: Our Canadian fans have been eating well this month between the last show and this one with as many of the girls as they have seen. But we’re in Calgary tonight, and I have this feeling…
Valerie: You got the feeling we’re not in Quebec? Just kidding. It’s about to get LOUD!
The arena lights go out and a second later “Animal I Have Become” by Three Days Grace starts to play. As the song started a spotlight hit the stage area as Charlotte Harker stepped out from the back and into the circle of light. She’s bouncing on the balls of her feet in time with the music, nodding her head as she takes a couple of deep breaths, listening to the response of the crowd. She ignored them, keeping her eyes focused on the ring before she started to stride down to ring, climbing the steps and entering through the ropes.
Lexi: Please welcome, standing 6’2” and weighing 177 lbs, she comes from Buffalo, New York….CHARLOTTE HARKER!!!
The wrestler climbed up onto the middle rope, throwing her hands in the air to again get a response from the crowd before she dropped down to the canvas, checking her knee pads as the lights came up and tested the ropes while waiting for the referee to start the match.
Zack: All 6’2 and 177 pounds of the number one contender to the Future Shock Champion, Lexi! She ruled over the Anarchy division of this brand for a record amount of time until a knee injury put her on the shelf! Charlotte will be, in my view, the biggest challenge Missy has ever had for the gold at Undeniable 2 in just 4 short weeks on FFW All Access.
Valerie: You won’t hear any argument from me in that respect! Charlotte has everything going her way right now to be the one to knock Missy off…she just gotta get her head around the fact she’s facing Sydney at home first.
The arena is already buzzing as Lexi looks around at the crowd with a grin on her face.
Zack: Boy, they’re ready for this. Like those cartoons where someone lights a long fuse before the flame gets to the TNT.
Valerie: Right! I’m excited for it too! But I’m always excited for the hometown woman!
The sound of a guitar strumming subtly begins to echo in the arena, leaving those in attendance wondering what is going on. The angelic voice of one Lzzy Hale of the band Halestorm is heard next, her voice serenely starting the opening verse of “I Am The Fire.” That’s when the arena gets very loud!
Am I brave enough?
Am I strong enough?
To follow the desire
That burns from within
To push away my fear
To stand where I'm afraid
I am through with this
'Cause I am more than this
I promise to myself
Alone and no one else
My flame is rising higher.
As the song picks up the tempo, her voice becomes more intense, kicking into the chorus.
I am the fire
I am burning brighter
Roaring like a storm
Midway through the chorus, the curtains part and out walks the pride of Calgary herself, Sydney Christensen. The fans in the Saddledome ERUPT! She steps out to the middle of the stage and juts her arms out on either side of her, tossing her head back as the fans are THUNDEROUS IN their appreciation. She picks her head up and slowly brings her arms in front of her, her index fingers pointing down to the ring. Dropping her arms to her side, she begins her march towards the ring, nodding at a few fans along the way. Once she reaches the ring, she hops up onto the apron and steps through the bottom and middle ropes. Almost immediately, Sydney walks over to the ropes and raises her arms above her head, encouraging the fans as they cheer on the proud Canadian. Sydney then walks over to one corner of the ring and climbs up, pounding her fist to her chest as she hears the crowd.
And I am the one I've been waiting for
Screaming like a siren
Alive and burning brighter
I am the fire!
Lexi: Introducing from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, this is…...SYDNEY CHRISTENSEN!!
Zack: I kid you not when I say the Saddledome is shaking! Calgary is more than just a hometown for Sydney, this is where she became Future Shock Champion in February of 2022. This is incredible, I wish you all watching on Prime were here to feel this! Welcome home, Sydney!
Valerie: Shaking? If this place doesn’t register on the freakin’ richter scale tonight, something is very wrong! Jesus! But she’s come in to what’s effectively a rockstar ovation and you can see how much she’s loving it!
Sydney heads to each corner, climbing up and rallying the crowd even louder in the corner before it. A deafening “SYD-NEY!” chant rumbles through the arena as Charlotte watches stoically.
Zack: 19,811 people are shaking the foundation of the sold out Saddledome to welcome home that woman right there! You tell me, Valerie. Does having your opponent get this kind of reaction play with your head at all?
Valerie: Abso-fuckin-lutely. I can’t speak too much on those who don’t get a positive reaction anyway, I assume that they’re used to it and it’s just another day at work. But when you’re someone like Charlotte, who is kinda popular anyway…yeah, it messes with you. You know it’s coming because obviously, but hearing it is a whole different thing. And it takes some amount of work to not let that get the better of you.
Zack: Charlotte Harker is in the lion’s den tonight more than ever in her career, I think. These fans in Calgary haven’t sat down, they haven’t quieted down. Sydney is a rockstar in this city, and if this doesn’t raise the hair on your arms, nothing will.
Valerie: Sydney's experiencing something that not everyone in wrestling is lucky enough to experience. And she’s gotten to do it more than once now. This match will not be quiet, and I don’t mean because of the women in the ring. And if Charlotte wins…it won’t be pretty.
Referee Colby Morrison called for the bell to start the match, and the fans were still chanting Sydney’s name throughout the arena. She nodded her head as she listened to them before heading to the center. Charlotte was already waiting for her there as the Moose looked out over the very pro-Sydney crowd and then back to her before the two locked up together. The blonde powered her back into the corner, immediately giving a clean break as both women put their hands up. That’s when Sydney used the moment to send Harker to the canvas with a high angle hip toss. She crashed onto the mat, and popped back up to her feet, only for the Canadian to lower her shoulder and dart into her with a shoulder thrust that sent her back into the far corner. She stepped back with a palm thrust to the neck for Harker, and used a monkey flip to send her out to the mat.
Zack: You gotta think Sydney’s absolutely fueled with an overabundance of energy right here. Charlotte’s a load, and our resident from Calgary is here making it look like she’s anything but at the moment.
Valerie: She is being driven by the noise, and it’s showing in the beginning is this match. She did her people proud last time she was here, and very understandably wants to continue that trend.
The Moose was back to her feet before the blonde whipped her across to the far side. Charlotte ducked a clothesline, and rebounded off the far side with a running shoulder block. But Sydney didn’t budge, and started shaking her head. The fans were getting louder as Harker tried it again with a harder shoulder block, but the former Future Shock Champion shook her head once more.
Zack: Anyone else on this roster, Charlotte would have ran over them on either of those occasions. But tonight in Calgary with that woman right there, it’s like running into a brick wall!
Valerie: The problem with brick walls though? They tend to do you more damage than you do them.
The New Yorker took off for a third time, now going for a clothesline of her own until Sydney ducked it and scooped her arms behind her into a full nelson facebuster. Christensen showed her power by hoisting Charlotte up with a rear waistlock and using a German suplex to send her into the nearest corner. She slumped against the turnbuckles before the Canadian took off for the far side, and returned with a running face wash boot to the head.
Zack: If you’re looking for the alphas in the powerhouse department when it comes to Future Shock, that’s 1 and 1A right there! Not too many people can do to them in the ring what they do to each other. It’s like watching a monster movie unfolding.
Valerie: And what’s good about that particular thing is that neither woman are…slow, I guess is the best way to put it. Sydney’s got some pace about her here.
Christensen dragged her by the foot out of the corner before dropping down to make the cover with the far leg hooked. Colby was in position quickly.
Zack: Sydney’s looking to send’em home happy!
ONE!!
TW-NO!
Harker kicked out as the two was halfway down, causing Sydney to drag her back to her feet. She whipped her into the far corner before following after her with a discus lariat to the chest.
Valerie: Calgary won’t like that one! Not that Charlotte’s getting a second to breathe.
With the crowd still behind her, she whipped Charlotte once more into the far corner. Harker landed back first against the turnbuckles before the Canadian star barreled towards her. Sydney left her feet, looking to hop up onto the middle rope in front of her but instead ended up with Harker’s hand around her neck for a chokeslam to the canvas. The New Yorker stepped away from her, trying to get herself together as the Calgary fans had turned as a result.
Zack: I couldn’t tell you what Sydney had in mind there, but I feel confident in telling you that wasn’t it. Calgary’s already on Charlotte’s case for it too.
Valerie: No one is shocked by that at all. But it was the smart move from Charlotte to back up after the beating she’s taken.
Harker shook it off before pulling her opponent back to her feet, and shoving her into that same corner. Then a barrage of elbow smashes to the side of her head landed one after another before the former tag champion scooped her onto her shoulder for a running powerslam to the canvas. She rolled her onto her stomach for a double stomp to her lower back, causing Sydney considerable pain.
Zack: Now we’re really getting into Charlotte’s wheelhouse. She loves that side slam backbreaker she’s won many matches with, and now Christensen’s back is getting softened up for it.
Valerie: Put her back in as much pain as possible, and she can’t go being the powerful beast that we know she is.
The blonde began to crawl towards the ropes to try to get up, but Charlotte put a stop to that with a boot to the back of her head. She quickly grabbed her feet, and applied a Boston crab as well as planting a knee into Sydney’s back at the same time. Colby moved around in front of the blonde to check for a submission, but she loudly made it clear that she wasn’t quitting.
Zack: I know he’s doing his job, but I think Charlotte would have to kill her before she gave up in Calgary. And I mean that in every sense of the word.
Valerie: Trust us when we say, there ain’t no way anyone would have disbelieved you.
Charlotte kept the hold tightly applied as Sydney saw that the ropes were not too far away. She began to stretch her arm out for the bottom rope, grimacing in pain as she reached a little further and made it. Colby called for the break, which Charlotte gave and Sydney rolled out to the floor. The Moose stepped over the top rope, and hopped down to go get her. When she spotted Christensen using the barricade to pull herself up, she spun her around and drove her back into the wall instead.
Zack: Sydney was trying to find a little respite for just a second, but there is none with Charlotte. The Moose is awfully close to some hardcore Sydney fans at the moment too.
Valerie: Which is not the best place for her to be at all. Some fans…just like to get involved in things they have zero business being involved in.
Harker grabbed her head, about to throw her back into the ring until Sydney surprised her with a jawbreaker. It stunned the Moose for a moment, and brought the crowd back to life in her favor. She gathered her reserves, and scooped Charlotte onto her shoulders into a Death Valley driver onto the apron. It caused the New Yorker’s body to arch upwards on impact before Sydney shoved her back into the ring and slid in after her to make the cover.
Zack: Jesus, Charlotte’s back met the hardest part of the ring and Sydney may be about to send all of Calgary home happy!
ONE!!
TWOOOOOO!!!
TH-NO!!
Valerie: Maybe not! Lord knows how after that impact.
Harker got her shoulder off the mat in time, and Sydney rolled away. She was slow to get up as well with the pain in her back, but she and Charlotte got to their feet at about the same time. The blonde went to get her, but walked into a scoop-up into a spinebuster. Christensen shouted in pain as Charlotte went for the cover with the far leg hooked.
Zack: Neither one of them is going to be walking upright for a few days, and Harker’s ready to hear the bell!
ONE!!
TWOOOO!!!
THR-NOO.
The fans roared as Sydney got her shoulder off the mat in time, causing Charlotte to roll away and get back to her feet. One hand was pressed against her back though as she did. Her attention remained on Sydney, who was starting to get up now as well.
Valerie: It’s pretty damn obvious right now that Charlotte’s in a lot of pain after that driver into the apron, but she cannot, and I repeat, cannot let that get in the way of doing the thing.
As soon as the blonde was vertical, Charlotte scooped her up into her side slam backbreaker. But as soon as it connected, the Moose shouted in pain and clutched her back as she turned in the other direction. Harker gritted her teeth as she tried to straighten up a little on the mat with painful success before she rolled over the other direction and went for the cover!
Zack: That’s her move, CHARLOTTE’S CRUCIFIX!! But she took so long to get the cover!!
ONE!!!
TWOOOOO!!!
THREEEEE-NOO.
Sydney got her shoulder up again as Harker rolled away from her. She held her back as she got back to her feet. She staggered to the ropes, leaning against them facing the crowd as Sydney was beginning to get up again.
Valerie: She took WAY too long to get into that cover. Short of knocking Sydney out I’d have been shocked if she’d have gotten that one.
Christensen made it to her before she could turn around, and grabbed her arms before falling forwards with a crucifix powerbomb that bounced the Moose off the mat. She lunged across her for the cover!
Zack: Where the hell did that come from?!
ONE!!!
TWOOOOOO!!!
THREEEEEEEE-NO.
Charlotte got her shoulder up in time though as Sydney rolled away from her. The Calgary fans were shouting her name again as the blonde was slowly getting to her feet in the corner.
Valerie: I don’t know where it came from, but I know it still wasn’t enough! And Calgary is good with that.
She glanced behind her to see Harker beginning to rise before Sydney took off towards her with a spear that drove the New Yorker into the canvas. Harker’s body bounced off the mat as Sydney rolled away once more, one hand still pressed tightly against her back as the cheers were even louder now.
Zack: Both of these women’s backs are in agony right now, but they are damn sure fighting through the pain. Sydney nearly split Charlotte in two with that spear, and needs to see about ending this much faster sooner than later.
Valerie: At this point I’m almost entirely certain the only thing keeping both of them going is adrenaline and nothing else. It can’t be anything else.
Sydney pulled Charlotte to a sitting position before she used her legs to apply her lotus lock submission. The New Yorker shouted in pain before she was able to stretch her foot under the bottom rope, causing Colby to demand a break quickly. Sydney gave him one as she slowly made it back to her feet.
Zack: Sydney went for the FIRESTARTER, but Charlotte is over six feet tall and those long legs can reach a good distance.
Valerie: She still had to stretch to reach the ropes, so what damage did that do to her back just to get there?
With the fans making plenty of noise for her, Sydney gritted her teeth as she watched Charlotte begin to get to her feet. She scooped the Moose up quickly, and planted her with a tombstone piledriver. Harker collapsed to the canvas as Sydney fell to her side, one hand pressed to her back as the fans implored her to make the cover!
Zack: Charlotte got drilled! If Sydney makes the cover, she’s gonna win!
Valerie: But she needs to get there first! Not even adrenaline is keeping that pain at bay anymore.
She finally rolled over in the right direction, draping her arm across Charlotte’s chest as Cobly fell to make the count with the fans counting with him.
Zack: There’s the cover!
ONE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NOPE.
But the Moose got her shoulder off the mat in time, causing Sydney to look up at Colby with disbelief. She pushed back to her feet as Charlotte rolled over, and began trying to do the same.
Valerie: It says a lot about how hard both women are hitting each other if they’re getting to a point where massive hits like that have caused so much pain that they can’t get their covers in time.
Sydney pounded the mat with her fist as she got to a vertical base. She crouched in the corner waiting for Charlotte to turn towards her before she took off with a spear in mind! But Harker got her boot up, catching the blonde in the face as she lunged towards her. Christensen staggered before Harker scooped her up for her side slam backbreaker again! She made the cover immediately this time!
Zack: She got it again!! CHARLOTTE’S CRUCIFIX!
ONE!!!
TWOOOOOOO!!!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
The Calgary fans were disappointed, to say the least. Charlotte rolled away to the ropes, using them to help her get to her feet before Colby raised her hand.
Lexi: Your winner by pinfall…..CHARLOTTE HARKER!
Valerie: Charlotte fought DAMN hard to get that win, but Calgary is not happy about that result! At all!
The fans showed their displeasure with the decision as Charlotte pressed a hand against her back. She glanced over towards Sydney before moving towards her, and offering her a hand to get up. Sydney looked up at her for a moment, and was pulled to her feet.
Zack: Charlotte knows she was in a hoss battle if there ever was one, and I think we can call that a show of respect. I don’t remember the last time I saw her help an opponent to her feet.
Valerie: I don’t think I’ve ever seen it, being honest. And that part alone makes me a little weary, much as I would like to be wrong.
Charlotte looked towards the camera, letting it know Missy was next as she headed out of the ring. Sydney looked around at her fellow countrymen and women, their response bringing a smile to her face.
Zack: It doesn’t matter to these fans. They love Sydney anyway! And Missy’s definitely got a handful and then some to deal with at Undeniable 2.
Valerie: Missy better have been taking notes, because if she goes like that again, we might well have a new champion come the end of Undeniable.
As Sydney hears the fans who still love her regardless, that’s when Future Shock fades off the air on Prime.
